- 0:15SPEAKER_01: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: It's another episode of Fancy Football Fumble.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: It's your host, Manny James, and your boy Joe, the Birdman.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Joe, how you doing, brother?
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: I'm doing very well.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: It's been a great week because I am in the playoffs.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: I'm locked into the playoffs in two leagues.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I am dead last in two leagues, but I have been for a few games now, so it doesn't matter.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Ones in your in your league, I'm playing you this week.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: Well, hopefully take it easy on me.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: Nah, I'm just kidding.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we'll see.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: I'm doing pretty good.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: I'm doing pretty good in those leagues.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: So I don't want any uh easy buckets.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, similar.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: I I'm out of the playoffs in one of my leagues too, so it happens, you know.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: It happens to the best of us.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: It's you know all about draft position when you're in competitive leagues.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: Sometimes you don't get the players you want, and sometimes injuries happen, you know, so that's just how it is.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: And you know, hopefully you bounce back, you make trades, and either those trades that work out for you or you you you know crash and burn.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: That's just how fantasy football is sometimes.
- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know it's funny, the two leagues where I'm dead last, I got high score in both of those uh leagues last week.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Just you know, sometimes that's just the way fantasy football works.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: But um in your other league, I'm battling for a playoff spot, and uh I got all my guys back, but I need um who do I need to lose?
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: I need uh you need everybody in front of you.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Sean.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: I need Sean to lose.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: I need Sean to lose, and I need to win.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: But um, it's funny because all my guys are back.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: I got Kyron Williams back, Justin Jefferson back, Devon A.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: Chain back, and who is the fourth one?
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I had four guys on IR and they're all back, so I'm like looking awesome now, but the chances are I'm not gonna make it.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: We'll see.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Yes, that that can be a scary team in the playoffs.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: You know, if you sneak in there, you know, you're definitely not a seventh seed.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: I want to I want to see because I'm locked in right now.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: If I win this league, I'm the number one seed.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, dude, you're far and away tonight.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: You're two games ahead in that league.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: So you're fine.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: I'm one one ahead.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: If I win this week and the guy wins, I'm I would lock it in because it's the last one.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it's uh it's definitely close.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: I lost this week too.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: I was one of the top seeds getting beat this week for sure.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know the thing is um going into the playoffs, there's a lot of question marks going on right now for many different people because this season has been plagued with injuries.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: A lot of studs went out again this week.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Got Tank Dell on IR.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: Uh Christian Watson may be out with a hamstring.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Christian Kirk is out with a groin injury.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Kenny Pickett is out with an ankle injury.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Ramon J.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: Stevenson is out with an ankle injury.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Derek Carr, I believe, is out with a few different injuries.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Amari Cooper has a concussion, and Najee Harris might not play tomorrow because he has not missed a game in his NFL career, but this might be his first game that he misses because of a knee injury.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: So that's gonna affect you know, people battling for a playoff spot right now.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: If they got a couple of those guys in their starting lineup, like I'm sure you do and I do, uh, you know, I got Christian Kirk in a couple leagues, and I have enough depth in one league where I'm comfortable, but the other league, um, you know, I got to play Rasheed Rice, who I I really like him, but I'd rather play Kirk.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: So we'll see how that pans out.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, some of those guys people aren't gonna miss anyways.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: They were haven't haven't been producing most of the year, but I mean, there's a few guys that are are gonna be missed.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: Trevor Lawrence finally started producing and he's out for sure.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Uh Jonathan Taylor started producing, he's out.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: So Zach Moss supposed to have a breakout game.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: He wasn't really so great last week.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Uh more about him later.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: But um also some bye weeks this week.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: There's two bye weeks this week, uh, Washington and Arizona.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: So I know Washington has been a surprisingly good offensive team this year.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: Sam Howe and obviously his receiver group have been good, not consistent, but good, you know, and Brian Robinson started off hot first half.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: He's kind of cooled off a bit.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: So um they might be missed for some flex pieces, but not anything crazy.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Um and in Arizona, of course, James Connor finally back from injury.
- 4:59SPEAKER_01: He looked good last week in the revenge game against Pitt, which I did think was gonna happen.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: So that looked pretty good too.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Um, so a couple miss miss pieces there and Kyler Murray.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: So, you know, either way, it's Trey McBride uh a good week.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: If you were lucky enough to grab Trey McBride, you're probably scrambling for a tight end right now.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and he's been he's been putting up a solid seven, eight points, you know, last couple weeks.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: He had a uh a big week, but you know, much like the tight end crapshoot, you know, you're gonna get like a big week and a couple standard weeks, you know, unless you've got your uh he's had a few big weeks, but you know, you get the you get the regular expected tight end production sprinkled in with that, just like pretty much everyone that's not Travis Kelsey.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: It's the same with like the the good tight ends will still have so many up and down games that you know he's he's definitely Trey McBride is definitely on the the the top tier of tight ends, but the only guys that have been steady producing uh pretty much all season have been Kelsey and Sam Laporta.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean uh there's I wouldn't say top tier because um I mean second tier maybe he's he's gonna he's gonna get there because there's only one guy in the top tier, and we know who that is, but you know, he he could be approaching you know second tier.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: And I honestly there's only like second tier is is my opinion, Mark Andrews, George Kittle, you know, Sam Laporta definitely is in that second tier.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Hawkinson is in that tier.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: And I think I I think if Trey McDrack can can do that consistently, he could he could be in the second tier, but that that's not gonna happen to next year.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: But this year, third year, you know, he's had some big games.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: He's a he's a set definitely a solid, you know, starting tight end at 10 points.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: But you know, he's definitely somebody you could draft lower next year and get him later in rounds and get a lot of value for him.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: But uh would I put him in the second tier of tight end?
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: No, no, he's not a second tier tight end.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: He hasn't produced like those other guys we mentioned.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: He's not on that level yet, but he definitely has Mark Andrews like value to me because people were sleeping on Andrews around his second year, and he had he was being drafted around you know, eighth round around his second year average in a 12-man league, and he ended up being obviously like tight end two behind Kelsey.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I think definitely have that kind of explosion.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: I think he will be there next year for sure.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: So um, in regards to all those injuries that we just went over and the bye weeks, um there's really not a lot going on with the waiver wire.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: You know, you could pick up Noah Brown because I feel like he's gonna be the wide receiver too, alongside Nico Collins.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: You know, he's been he's had bigger games than Robert Woods.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: So I expect him to fill that role.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: He might be available, and then if you can pick up Zeke, the the chances are he's rostered, but if you can pick up Zeke, you know, he's gonna be uh getting the full workload.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: But you know, the Steelers have a decent run defense, so we'll see what happens there.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: And the and the the new the new England offense is just hammered shit.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: So what are you gonna you know they literally uh put up zero points last week, so you know, probably a better option, but if you're desperate, you might be able to pick them up.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, at this point for um waiver wires the way I look at it, if you're in a playoff hunt, you're just trying to load up for death because right now you don't know which guys are gonna be out.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: It's later on in the season, you're gonna have you know a lot of people resting, just getting rested for the playoffs, you know.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: Uh maybe somebody for maintenance-related workloads.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna want to stash guys.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I was able to pick up Dobbs in my playoff leagues because people dropped him.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: He had his first bad game last week, you know, in a while.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: So, but at when I looked at his playoff stretch of the fantasy playoffs, he actually has a nice little uh playoff schedule against some pretty you know soft defenses, you know.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: And with getting Justin Jefferson back, right?
- 9:16SPEAKER_01: I would love to see those defenses, you know.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: So uh for me, I picked him up in those leagues because I was like, you know, um, if Jalen Hurts has an injury or Josh Allen has a hint injury, these are guys that take a lot of hits during games.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: You know, for me, I'm like if they take a maintenance day, I have no problem plugging in, you know, Josh Dobbs against a soft defense and and a surgeon Vikings playoff team, you know, or wanting to be a playoff team.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: So that that's how I'm looking at it.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: And also backup tight ends, because at the end of the day, you you know, right now those guys are getting hurt every other freaking game, it seems like.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: I grabbed Elijah Mitchell in a couple leagues too, just because, you know, obviously uh we don't want to see anything happen to CMC, but if something does happen to him, he'd be probably getting a full workload.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: So yeah, he's definitely a guy get a nice get a nice start.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: But yeah, let's uh go ahead and get into the daily topics here, my friend.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: All right, big ballers.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Welcome back.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: It's time for a hot matchup of the week over here.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: And Joe, who do you have for your hot matchups this week?
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm gonna start off with the 49ers versus the Seahawks.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, last week I talked about the Cowboys and the Seahawks and how it was gonna be a one-sided game and that the Seahawks were gonna be playing catch up.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: And I was wrong.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: That was a close game the entire time.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Uh the Seahawks have virtually no defense, but their offense has looked great lately.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Uh, you got DK Metcalf, and even without Kenneth Walker, Sharbin Afield into that uh role, doing just fine, and they're probably gonna lean on the pass a little bit more, and that's usually gonna get you more points.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: So I think just the the fact that Geno Smith has been playing well and DK has been back in form for like the last month, and Tyler Lockett's a little bit up and down, but you know, steady enough where you're gonna plug him in.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: Um and then I don't know what the deal is with Charbonnet yet.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: Uh he's listed as questionable right now, so it might be DJ Dallas, who you're probably not gonna play.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: You're if you pick him up and expect him to uh give you double digits against the 49ers, uh you're probably gonna be sore and mistaken.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: But I think there's just too much offense on both teams uh that you know, with what I said last week, as far as the Seahawks playing catch up, was wrong.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: But their offense was on point.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: So if they can keep this game close uh like they did last week, you know, let me see what the what was the score last week?
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: It was 41 to 35.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: If they can be, you know, even close to that this week, then you know all the starters are probably blowing up.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And then on the other side of the ball, I mean you got Brock Purdy, McCaffrey, Ayuk, Debo, George Kittle.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: And um while I do expect the game to be one-sided, um it's it's probably there's a good chance it'll be a shootout.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: So either way, if it is a one-sided game and Seattle's got to play catch up like I expected last week, that means points.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: If it's a battle, even better.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Because you know, it's if it's just back and forth, no one's trying to slow things down, that'd be great.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: And that's what happened last week with Seattle.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Their offense has looked really good, and the Niners offense, as always, is looking good.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: And um, I just feel like basically all the starters are going to have big games.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: Um, could be another big Niners day there.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: Seahawks, I haven't been playing defense lately, um, especially against uh really good offenses.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: They just pretty much just are there taking up the city.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, and and that's the thing is I thought Seattle's gonna have a hard time against the Cowboys D, and they did not.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: And uh San Francisco's D has been up and down, you know.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: So there's a good chance that this will be uh a lot closer than people think.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure what the spread is, but I'm sure that the Niners are favored, just like the Cowboys were last week.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: But Seattle, you know, they came to play, and uh they're probably gonna try, even though they lost last week, they're probably gonna try to keep that momentum going.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: And they could surprise some people again.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Seahawks haven't been playing defense here.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: Um, so they've been, you know, maybe they'll come out there and have another big day.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, nine or secondary definitely looked better last week as far as uh how they're locking things up.
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: So they they were able to contain the Eagles pass uh or the the Eagles wide receiver core really well.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: And uh obviously the pass rush was getting there pretty quickly.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: So I think that you know they could help contain Seahawks pass or the Seahawks O-line because they're not that good to begin with.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, but you know, Niners are definitely gonna put up points on their side.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: So it could definitely also be, you know, similar to Cowboys game.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: It's either the Niners are gonna put up a lot of points or the Niners are gonna put up a lot of points and the Seahawks are gonna put up a fight.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: So either way, it's it's gonna either be one-sided by the Niners or Seahawks are gonna put up a fight.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: So you uh but yeah, there it's gonna be uh either way.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: You want part of the Niners if you're part you know playing anybody in that lineup.
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: Uh so if I'm doing DraftKings, I'm gonna be doing you know heavy stacks with you know 49ers on there.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna be doing Purdy if he's still cheap, you know, Purdy and Debo, because I doubt that they're gonna be, you know, uh doing anything less than two touchdowns.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: What about you?
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: What's your first hot matchup next week or this week?
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: Well, this is probably the gonna be the game of the week.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: You know, it's a rematch for the Eagles and the Cowboys.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: The last one wasn't so high scoring.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: It was 25-28 in Philly.
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: It was an ugly day, though.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: I think it was raining that day.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: Actually, no, it wasn't raining, it was just um uh it was actually a surprisingly very good and competitive game.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: Uh more defense than I anticipated.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: It's not low score.
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's not high score.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's not low, it's not high.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: It's right in the middle.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: It was a very competitive game.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: Um, there's some big plays made on both ends, and ultimately it came down to like a game of inches, you know.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: And now it's in Dallas, and Dallas, you know, obviously brings up the stats of how they always win in Dallas, and it's blowouts.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: And um, I think that addition of Darius Leonard will help out the Eagles, but you know, at the end of the day, I think it's gonna be some big plays um on both sides.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: So it could be a fun game.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: And plus the Eagles got, you know, didn't score a lot last game.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: You know, one could say cause didn't go their way.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: People saw some holds that you know were questionable, right?
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna be one to say, hey, you know, the rest gave them that game, but anybody with die balls, you know, could see that some of those touchdowns should have came back.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: But I'm not gonna make excuses, right?
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: The writing's on the wall, you know.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: Goodell hates the Eagles, everybody knows that, and that's why he always gets extensions.
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: Every time he gets an extension, the Eagles get screwed.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: So that's how it goes.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: It's funny that you tell that you tell I I'm on a group chat with a bunch of Niners fans, and they're telling me the exact opposite about the refs, it cracks me up, you know, man.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: It's funny how people people have tunnel vision when they're watching the game, and I understand.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: I understand, you know, got shipped on the team.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but you know, if you watch that game, you know, that touchdown for George Kittle, how's he blocking two people like this?
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: You know, anybody with diabols could have told you that's a hold, right?
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: And then the the other Debo touchdown, he runs up the middle, the safety gets grabbed.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: And you know, people were like, oh yeah, there's always missed calls in every game, but I'm like, yeah, but it's a game of momentum.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: You know, when you're like you're down 07 and all of a sudden an offsides call goes from you know 06 to like giving you a third and goal to uh you know from a fourth down to a first and goal, you know, you know, games change, but neither here nor there.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: Eagles couldn't get a call to save their life.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: It is what it is.
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: You know, we'll see the Niners again, and it's gonna be in Philly again.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: So I'm not trying to uh I'm not trying to um you know bring up a sore subject, but you know, that Super Bowl game, that final play, that holding call on the Eagles, you know, Kansas City has become America's team.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: You know, they've got uh Kelsey in all the commercials, they've got um Mahomes in all the commercials.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, you could you can't turn on the TV.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, you you can't turn on any station without my auto without seeing those guys.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, but so they're kind of America's team, and you know, I am not a Philly fan, and I'm not a Kansas City fan.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: I've got plenty of friends from Kansas City and Philly, and uh man, everyone kind of agreed that last play was suspect.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: That holding call was uh a little a bit much to to call at that point in the game.
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: And you just feel like you know, Philly people look at Philly differently than they look at the Kansas.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about the team, the NFL team.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: People look at Philly differently than they look at Kansas City, you know?
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: Everyone, like I said, they're America's team now.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: You know, they're the poster boys for the NFL.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: People like to go to bias, yeah.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: There's a little bit of a bias.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: That's all I'm trying to say.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: Anyway, it it and it is you know, you and you're right, it's it's something that people don't bring up enough.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: There's always a bias, right?
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: Because if you look at you turn on TV, you see these degenerate Eagles fans, right?
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: And they make us look bad.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: It makes it hard to feel sorry for Eagles fans because some of those people make us look so bad, and I'm like, you know, and and you know, and then at the same time, being an Eagles fan, you're like, I feel I understand why this guy is so pissed off and such a piece of shit, because he's just been screwed so many times by the NFL that he's just like fuck it, I'm over it.
- 19:58SPEAKER_01: Like, you guys screwed me so many times.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: Fuck you.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's how they feel, you know.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: Like, we got nowhere's probably been cheated more than the Eagles fans in the history of the NFL, bro.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: And it's been a lot of ups and downs, that's for sure.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: You know, and it's it like, and it's not just ups and downs, it's just like injustices.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: And I'm not gonna sit here and play on the world's tiniest violin, but people know about spygate, they know about the Tom Brady years, you know, like people have built like Roger Goodell has built the Tom Brady legacy on the backs of you know, Donovan McNabb and TO.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: Like the first year that TO was with the Eagles, bro, it could have been like like he could have made TO into the face of the league, but because TO was such a big mouth and Donovan McNabb, you know, like wasn't the face of NFL, they bailed it on Tom Brady, you know, and he got bringing back some memories right now.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: I just bro, but I've been watching that long, and people forget this stuff, and that's how long I've been watching.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: People are like, You're holding a grudge.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: I'm like, man, I just don't forget history.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: And I know we're on a rant, we talk about rants, right?
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: But people forget that these guys got when they found out that they were video recording people's plays and they were still good having staff sneak into hotel hotels for the visiting team, stealing their playbook, and they were having hotel staff retrieve it for the visit from the visiting team to the actual team.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: And then when Goodell found out about this, he destroyed the evidence and he took draft picks off these people.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: We're like, oh if you're not true, you're not trying hard enough.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: I was like, Well, that's as cheating as you can freaking get right there, trust me.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: So, like, yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, I I get upset about it because I, you know, I was a kid when that happened.
- 21:43SPEAKER_01: I think I was like eleven or twelve when that happened.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: So, like, you know, you have your heart into it, your team's the best, and then you get cheated.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: So, you know, it's hard to forget those memories.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: But at the end of the day, last year's Super Bowl didn't feel good.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: And uh you see they still get all the calls today.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Uh Mahomes gets all his calls.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: He could just throw his hands up and go like this, and then he's gonna get a flag.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, it's a flag.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: The refs have been exceptionally bad this year, in my opinion.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: And I mean, they're getting worse.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: Something the Steelers fans always bring up is this touchdown that was in a very important game from um Jesse James, where he they changed catch a few years ago.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: They they changed the fucking rule, they changed the rules because of that catch.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: I mean, anyway, I don't want to go off.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: I remember I remember that catch vaguely, obviously, because I'm not a Steelers fan, but I remember the controversy.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's some controversy behind the catch, like how they changed the rules.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: It was a catch always, it was it was absolutely a catch.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: Like there's no way you can watch that and say it wasn't.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: But anyway, I don't want to get on another tangent.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Um it was a catch.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: Tio uh uh Dak was a that uh what's the Cowboys receiver?
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: Des Bryant.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: It was a catch.
- 23:07SPEAKER_00: So my second hot matchup of the week um is the Bills versus the Chiefs.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: Um both teams are coming off a loss in their last game, and I feel like they're gonna come out playing hard.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: Um and the Bills arrested from their bye week last week.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: Uh they're 6-6, so they need to win.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: And the Chiefs are battling for uh a first-round bye.
- 23:34SPEAKER_00: So they they're gonna be playing hard too.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: They want this win bad.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: Um, and I think everybody, as far as the offense or people you'd have on your fantasy team, I think everyone's healthy.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: I don't think there's any injuries you got to worry about.
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: There's a few linemen that are that are injured um on both teams, but uh I don't know how much that'll affect the game.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: I guess we'll have to see.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: But all the guys you're gonna be playing are fully healthy.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: I expect this to be a back and forth game with a lot of big plays on offense and defense.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, so we'll see.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: You know, the the Chiefs and the Bills, their offenses um have been pretty solid, but their defense has been a little bit up and down.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: But I just expect them all to be firing on all cylinders and playing hard.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: You know, and I feel bad for the Bills that their bounce back game where they're trying to get a playoff spot has to be against the Chiefs.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: When uh Trevor Lawrence just went down, because you know the NFL is gonna try to give this game to Mahomes, and the Bills need it.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: You know, the Bills need it to get in right now.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: They're they're fighting for a wild card.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: So Josh Allen's gonna play his ass off, and they're gonna talk shit about how Josh Allen isn't this clutch quarterback, and he's gonna put on another performance.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: I know all these Bills fans are solid, like you know, Bills got cheated.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Yes, there was a couple bad calls against the Eagles, and I'm not gonna sit here and pretend like there wasn't bad officiating, but there was bad officiating on both sides.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: Josh Allen also, you know, flopped and got a roughness passer, right?
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: A 208 60-pound quarterback that just throws defenders around like that all of a sudden gets bumped and he throws himself back, and that's a rough and a passer.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: Come on, guys.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: Like, let's let's all be honest here, right?
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, there's some bad calls on both sides.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, so I think he's gonna put on a great performance, but unfortunately, the Chiefs are gonna get a lot of calls their way.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: They just lost to Trevor Lawrence and the the Jags, who were gonna have the best record, just you know, are no longer as entertaining as they once were.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: So, guess what?
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: It's about selling pay-per-views, it's about selling um, you know, actually, it's about selling commercial slots, right, for the Super Bowl.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: So that's how they make their money.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: So uh Jags aren't gonna sell tickets if Trevor Lawrence isn't playing and Christian Kirk isn't playing.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: So now the Jags aren't sexy anymore.
- 25:52SPEAKER_01: So who's the next top seed gonna be?
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: It has to be back to the Chiefs.
- 25:55SPEAKER_01: Mahomes and Motto, Taylor Swift, right?
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: The Travis Kelsey show.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: What's gonna sell more Super Bowl tickets than that, right?
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: So that's what we're gonna see.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: We're unfortunately that's where the Lakes built.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: That's 100% true.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's all about the money, man.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: Why do you think this guy Godell gets paid, bro?
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: Every year, like this the fishiganium gets worth, you just got another two-year extension this year.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: The guy he's getting paid in this undisclosed amount of money, you know.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: And and I was like, how much how much dirt does this guy have on the owners?
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: Because he just there's no accountability with these refs, and yet they he still gets extended every single, every single extension.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: I don't get it.
- 26:34SPEAKER_00: Imagine, yeah.
- 26:35SPEAKER_00: I mean, people have been complaining about him for a long time.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Um, imagine how exciting uh it would be to have Taylor Swift do the halftime show in a Chiefs Super Bowl.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: You know how many people would tune into that?
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: It would be like it would be advertised so heavily, you'd get like twice as much viewership just because of that, you know.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: I think they already picked the rap group or something.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: It's like Dr.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: Dre or something doing it with uh some like robot or like somebody they're reincarnating somebody.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: I can't even remember who it is.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like they're doing that shit again.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, like how they did how Tupac at like Hotel or something.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know, that's creepy to me.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, neither am I, you know, for dead, you know.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: Didn't they do that with Prince one year?
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: Prince.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they did it with Prince too.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, man.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: Leave the let the dead rest, man.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: Don't bring their their licensing and their them back from the dead like that.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: That's kind of weird.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: But uh the hologram shit is also blasphemy.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: Blasphemy.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: Anyways, um, my hot matchup of the week, uh, my second hot matchup, I got the Lions versus the Bears.
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: That's gonna be some fireworks.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: Justin Fields, I think this is what his second, third game back from injury or second game back because he had the bye week before that.
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: So he's um he's looked good.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: Um actually, bye-week was last week.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: So he's looked good um back from injury.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: He's rested up.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: Um, they have obviously a new coordinator.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: Um, Dante Forming may be back, who knows?
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: But I think they're gonna definitely um Detroit's defense has been pretty pretty lash lately.
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: They've kind of been getting beat through the air a lot.
- 28:20SPEAKER_01: So I could see DJ Moore having a big day, Cole Komet having a good day.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: That's his second favorite option, you know, and then obviously Justin Fields having a big day.
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: So um that could go back and forth, and of course, Jared Goff has so many weapons, you know, they could score so many different ways.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: So that's gonna be a real fun game to watch.
- 28:38SPEAKER_01: Obviously, anybody in Detroit, you know, Amon Ra, Laporta, you know, both running backs.
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: Jameer Gibbs had a slow game last week, so you know, we could see him bounce back, you know, that could be pretty nice.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know, the thing is, I'm not sure what the running back situation is in in Chicago, but Roshan Johnson had more carries than Khalil Herbert last week.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: I think he had like 10 and Herbert had like six.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: But then also Jameer Gibbs had like half the carries that David Montgomery did, and I assume that was due to the uh pace of the game, but I really hope that changes.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm not sure who to play between those two this week.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: I might just play both of them.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: You know that Saints game was really high scoring, so I'm surprised that David Montgomery and Jameer Gibbs had that kind of snap count because it ended up being like 35 to like 27.
- 29:39SPEAKER_01: It was uh it was uh it wasn't a low-scoring game.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: They were just they just kept going at each other.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: So the fact that Jameer Gibbs what I think happened is the Saints were just playing Jameer really good.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: They kept having uh Tyron Matthew like shadow him and in the box, so he just wasn't getting open.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: I think that's what it was.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're right.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: It's 33-28.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, some I didn't realize it was that close.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, that I mean they get they just gave Montgomery was, you know, Jameer Gibbs started out great.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: He had like a I think a 25 or 26 yard run right off the bat, looked good, and then they just kind of shut him down, and it looked like they were leaning on Montgomery.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: Um just because he was, you know, plodding along and and getting the necessary yards, but you'd still expect Jameer Gibbs to have more carries, so I assume he's gonna have a much better week um next week.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: Also, Montgomery they missed him for our wide open screen, and he would have gone for like probably for like a 30-yard touchdown.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: He almost had like an even bigger day than he did.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I remember that.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: It was close, so close.
- 30:55SPEAKER_00: Well, Manny, it's early December, and it's cold up in here.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: It's time for the cold call of the week.
- 31:06SPEAKER_00: Who is your first cold call of the week?
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: Actually, your only cold call of the week.
- 31:11SPEAKER_00: We only do one each.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: Who is your cold call of the week?
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so you touched on this uh players' team a little bit earlier, but it's definitely gonna be the Jags versus the Browns.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: Um Browns obviously strong defense, you know.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: They're quarterback, it's either PJ Walker or um Dorian Thompson, you know.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: I don't I don't know, Dorian Green Thompson.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: I don't know who's gonna be playing for the Browns side, but obviously Amari Cooper may be out.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: So it's just gonna be uh uh they're gonna run and run and play defense all game, beat the crap out of the the Jags, who might even be without their second stream quarterback, CJ Bethard.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: So they're definitely short-handed.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: It's just gonna be an ugly game.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: I'm glad I don't have any shares of the Jags anymore.
- 31:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, well, I mean, I would have had ATM, but it you know that that league's already done anyway, so um, no matter there, but uh Jags are just gonna be struggling.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: So if you're looking at a team to play, just stay away from them in DraftKings.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: I I wouldn't even play uh either of those teams.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think um I think that the Browns are actually starting Joe Flacco.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: And um damn.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: And I think they're also gonna be without Amari Cooper this week.
- 32:27SPEAKER_00: He's concussed, and uh on top of all that, like you said, Trevor Lawrence is out, Christian Kirk's out, Etienne might be a little banged up.
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: He looked fine last week, so that's probably a non-issue.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: But um, on top of all that, they both got pretty solid defenses.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: So, you know, the Browns have been on point, the Jags have been on point.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: I think this is gonna be brutal and and something you want to stay far away from, unless it's one of their defenses.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: I would I would definitely start the Jags and the Browns on defense and steer steer clear for pretty much every player on the offense, except for I guess Jerome Ford is someone you could play.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: Um and of course, Etienne.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: I I wouldn't play Ridley or anybody else on the Jags.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah, I think Jerome Ford's the only person you'd play on the Browns.
- 33:23SPEAKER_00: Elijah Moore had 12 targets last week.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: So if you're real desperate or you're looking for a possible uh uh DraftKings lineup where you're gonna save some money, you know, you might be able to plug him in.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: But anyway, my cold call of the week is the Steelers versus the Patriots.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: Now we saw the Patriots against the Chargers last week.
- 33:51SPEAKER_00: That game ended six to nothing.
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: Um the Patriots didn't put up any points at all, and their defense is actually pretty good.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: So let's see, uh the Steelers are without uh Kenny Pickett, they're probably gonna be without Najee and Ramon J.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: Stevenson is out, and um I I actually don't know who the quarterback is gonna be for either team.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: It might be Mitch Trubisky uh for the Steelers, and um I I don't I really don't know who it's gonna be for the Patriots, but either way, you're staying away from every player on that team.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: You could maybe start Jalen Warren, but I wouldn't be confident with that because um, you know, the Chargers couldn't do much against New England last week, and I don't think the Steelers are gonna do any better than Austin Eckler could.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: So I would stay far away from everyone on that team unless you really need to play a running back.
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: You could play Zeke or you could play Jalen Warren, but um, you know, don't expect too much out of either side uh that that for that game.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to see here if there's nothing listed as far as who they're playing, right?
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: Quarterback.
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter.
- 35:18SPEAKER_00: Stay away from both of those teams.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: That's gonna be a brutal, a brutal game to watch.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: I have to watch it because I'm a Steelers fan, but just like every other game this season, I'll be watching it with clenched teeth, shaking my head.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: Uh I thought we were finally getting on on track with Matt Canada being out, but I was mistaken.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: I was happy to see James Conner do well.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: If anyone's gonna do well, I was happy it was him.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, injury bug, man.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: I I don't have any further to add to that.
- 35:51SPEAKER_01: I mean that you pretty much hit it all.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it's gonna be bad.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: All right, get your mud pies out, boys and girls.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: It's time for this week's shit call of the week.
- 36:10SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 36:10SPEAKER_01: Joe, what's your shit call last week?
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: Well, as you know, I was raving about Zach Moss all week.
- 36:18SPEAKER_00: I thought he had a real good chance at finishing at RB1.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: You know, he destroyed Tennessee the first time around in week five.
- 36:26SPEAKER_00: I think it was his best game all year.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: Tennessee has a rock solid run defense, so I should have uh tampered my expectations a little bit, but I didn't.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: And I was wrong.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: He finished with less than eight fantasy points, and you know, Tennessee is a tough defense.
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: So I should have uh I should have told you to proceed with caution, but instead I said go all in.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: You know, I showed you that one DraftKings lineup where if he hit, I would have made a lot of money.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: Everyone else in my lineup was on fire, and he let me down, and I had him as the king for one of those showdowns.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: But anyway, I think he's gonna have a bounce back week.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: He should do very well against a depleted Cincinnati, but I was wrong about him last week.
- 37:13SPEAKER_00: He was uh total disappointment.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: Well, that's a really great lineup um you put together.
- 37:22SPEAKER_01: Like, I I mean I had him in every single one of my lineups.
- 37:25SPEAKER_01: I just thought for 4,500, like you can't go wrong.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: So for sure, you know, definitely.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: What about you?
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: What's your shit call of the week, Manny?
- 37:36SPEAKER_01: You know, last week I thought that um Broncos versus Taxwell's was gonna be pretty high scoring.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, nobody anticipated that Tankdale was gonna get his tibula broken or fibula broken under a dog pile for a run.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: So that kind of like screwed not just that game, but my you know, a couple of my fantasy, you know, deaths for for the season because I had him in two leagues.
- 38:01SPEAKER_01: I was just so happy because he was my my second third best receiver, and I just went from like having this wonderful death.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: It kind of felt a little bit like last year when I had Brees Hall, but not as it didn't hurt as bad as Brees Hall, but it felt a little similar.
- 38:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I totally.
- 38:16SPEAKER_01: But I was like, Yeah, but I was like, you know, this game, it kind of, you know, it was a little bit disappointing because I expected Texas to do better.
- 38:25SPEAKER_01: Nico Collins really showed out, you know.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: I was impressed with that, you know, because he was a number one guy, and the Broncos have a shutdown corner and Pat Sartain and they showered him, and he still did good.
- 38:35SPEAKER_01: So I was actually pretty impressed that Nico Collins is that guy.
- 38:38SPEAKER_01: So I think that, you know, going to next year, he's somebody that I'm gonna definitely have rated pretty well.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: Uh, which I was also high on him this offseason as well as a nice little sleeper pick.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: But um, you know, Broncos definitely disappointed.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: I thought Russell Wilson would step up a little bit more.
- 38:54SPEAKER_01: They only scored 17 points.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: You know, Cortland Sim was definitely the guy.
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: I thought he would be the, you know, do pretty good.
- 39:01SPEAKER_01: But um, you know, it's just a disappointing game all around.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: Not a lot of points.
- 39:06SPEAKER_01: 17 to 22 was very low scoring.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: The spread was 47, they only hit 39, and it's just you know, a very underwhelming game altogether.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and that's that's gonna be uh you know something that that's that's messing with my teams, too.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: I actually had tankdell and four fantasy teams, but um, you know, two of those I'm I'm probably not gonna make the playoffs, but two the other two I'm in the playoffs.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: So luckily I have enough depth, but uh one of those teams I had Christian Kirk and Tank Dell.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: So it hurts real bad.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: I'm in a bad spot now.
- 39:44SPEAKER_00: But anyway, yeah, that was um unexpected, disappointed.
- 39:48SPEAKER_00: I had Tank Dell in a a bunch of lineups too.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, still makes my stomach turn saying his name.
- 39:57SPEAKER_00: That's what a badass name.
- 39:59SPEAKER_00: Tank.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: Still early.
- 40:01SPEAKER_00: It'll be great.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: It'll be great next year.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: Let him drop, boys and girls.
- 40:19SPEAKER_00: Let him drop.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: It's time for the big balls call of the week.
- 40:24SPEAKER_00: I am uh gonna kick things off.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: And although it's been against really bad teams, the Colts defense have been very impressive over the last four games, and I expect that to continue against a depleted Cincinnati Bengals.
- 40:46SPEAKER_00: And I predict they will finish as the top fantasy defense this week.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: They've been rolling.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: I expect them to continue rolling.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: Again, it's been against bad teams, but Cincinnati is without Joe Burrow, and that changed everything.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: So I expect them to uh have another big game and finish as a top fantasy defense.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: I hear that, I hear that.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: Now for my big balls call, I was like, who's gonna have the biggest balls this week?
- 41:22SPEAKER_01: And it has to be somebody that actually, you know, had their balls cut off last week, and that has to be none other than my team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: So I think that the Eagles against the Cowboys are gonna have a big, big day obviously.
- 41:37SPEAKER_01: I know I already have them as my highest scoring game of the week, but I think obviously uh Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown have another big day.
- 41:46SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm gonna see them going off, you know, uh definitely at least three touchdowns, you know, between them, two for Jalen and one for AJ Brown, but at least 125 yards receiving for uh AJ Brown, you know, 300 yards, all-purpose yards for Jalen Hurts, you know, three touchdowns for him.
- 42:06SPEAKER_01: So, and that's like two passing and a rushing rushing touchdown.
- 42:10SPEAKER_01: So I see the Eagles at least uh doing that, pulling off the the win over the Cowboys, you know, and and the Cowboys, it's gonna be a 35 uh to 30 win over the Cowboys.
- 42:22SPEAKER_01: So that's that's what I have for my big balls call of the week.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: 35 to 30, huh?
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 42:31SPEAKER_01: 65 points.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: I don't even know what the spread is.
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: I don't care.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: That's what's gonna happen.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: Man, I hope.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: I just willed it.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: I feel it.
- 42:38SPEAKER_01: And I feel the feel it in my stomach.
- 42:42SPEAKER_00: I love it, man.
- 42:44SPEAKER_01: DraftKings.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: And I think AJ Brown is due for like not just a big game, but a huge game.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: Because he was just running a train on everybody, and then he kind of slowed down.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: So I want to see that I want to see that train keep rolling.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: And uh, I have him in only one league, but um I'm fighting for a top seed right now.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: So if I win, that'll be huge for me.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: I want him to have a huge week, and um, you know, of course, you know, the Eagles offense altogether looks great, and and I think that's going to be uh just an awesome game.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: I think that's gonna be the most exciting game to watch um next week, and I'm really looking forward to it and totally agree.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be very high scoring.
- 43:31SPEAKER_00: And um, I hope I hope your Eagles win, man.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: I really do, just because I have more of them in fantasy.
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: I have Jalen Earth, so I have AJ Brown.
- 43:41SPEAKER_01: I hope that too.
- 43:42SPEAKER_01: But honestly, I think the most exciting game will be the Bills versus the Chiefs, only because the Eagles versus the Cowboys will be the most stressful game for me to watch because it is my team.
- 43:53SPEAKER_00: For you, yeah, yeah.
- 43:55SPEAKER_00: Well, for me, it's gonna be the best game to watch, I believe.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming back for another episode of the Fantasy Football Fumble.

- 44:42SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm I was just telling Manny before we start recording.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: I I've got a plan for going into next season.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: We kind of, I wouldn't say we rushed into this season, but we um were kind of preparing as we were uh recording.
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: So we're we're getting things set up um for the first few weeks as we were recording.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: We're putting things together.
- 45:04SPEAKER_00: If you look at the first few episodes, our transitions look different than the ones we got now.
- 45:08SPEAKER_00: So we were we were kind of building over the first two, three, four weeks of the season.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: And um going into next season, we're gonna be more prepared, but um I'm also gonna have some better equipment.
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: I told Manny, I'm gonna get a new computer, you know, just make sure that uh things are tip top to make things a little bit easier on our side.
- 45:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but we do appreciate everything, guys.
- 45:34SPEAKER_01: And you know, don't forget to give us some feedback, let us know what you think, and you know, we we'll see you guys again here at same time.
