- 2:44Speaker 1: a good key key So come back for that and
- 2:46Speaker 1: call us again. We'd love to hear from you. Yeah.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And also Special Forces, we did have a little announcement
- 2:53Speaker 1: about that.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Oh we're not covering it this weekend.
- 2:55Speaker 1: He wasn't on it this week.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he wasn't on it. It was also boring, like it
- 2:58Speaker 2: was heavy on Jessey Small and like other people, I mean,
- 3:02Speaker 2: Teresa whatever, her two dice. I think she voluntarily withdrew,
- 3:06Speaker 2: which was fine.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I wept. I know, I'm such a baby. The older
- 3:11Speaker 1: I get, the more teary I am. My mom was
- 3:14Speaker 1: exactly the same, Like by the time she passed, she
- 3:16Speaker 1: was crying for like every commercial. She was so weepy.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But like when Gia Jude was talking to the Special
- 3:23Speaker 1: Forces staff and she was talking about how she was
- 3:26Speaker 1: parentified because her mother and her father went off to
- 3:29Speaker 1: jail and she's the first daughter and the like tremendous
- 3:33Speaker 1: responsibility that comes with that role just generally plus Jail,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I was just like, oh my god, my heart, little Gia.
- 3:40Speaker 1: But as it concerns Cody Brown, there wasn't even an
- 3:44Speaker 1: interstitial a talking head. All we really saw was him
- 3:47Speaker 1: getting knocked the f out, which is great, which I
- 3:50Speaker 1: did love.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I did appreciate it.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I would have wanted to see more of I.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Would want to do that myself, yes.
- 3:55Speaker 1: But that was it. So we just felt like, eh,
- 3:57Speaker 1: we're not going to cover it because we're really just
- 3:58Speaker 1: watching to see what Cody Brown is doing in this show, right,
- 4:01Speaker 1: So if next week there's more and there's some Cody Brown,
- 4:05Speaker 1: we will definitely give you a little recappy pooh.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Yeah, we're going to be recapping it just until he's eliminated.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and then we're done. Yeah, because Beatrice isn't just
- 4:15Speaker 1: enjoying it generally speaking, I guess sorry, I don't mind.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Did I watch with my husband? We have a couple
- 4:20Speaker 1: of cocktails and we just laugh.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I can't.
- 4:24Speaker 1: The last point of business before we get into our
- 4:26Speaker 1: recap is the subject of seeking Sister Wife, and we
- 4:31Speaker 1: do want to bring you in, whether you're listening or
- 4:33Speaker 1: whether you're watching, We want to ask you whether you're
- 4:36Speaker 1: interested in us covering that. Yeah, we had discussed doing
- 4:40Speaker 1: so on the general pod so on YouTube and on
- 4:43Speaker 1: our podcast audio, but we have a lot going on. Yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 1: and if y'all aren't interested, then we probably won't do it,
- 4:52Speaker 1: or maybe we'll do it later on Patreon.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Like we'll react to it on Patreon.
- 4:56Speaker 1: But if you are watching and if it's a good season,
- 5:00Speaker 1: let us know if you want us to recap it,
- 5:02Speaker 1: because I'm open to it. Yeah, me too, I'm open
- 5:04Speaker 1: to it, maybe starting next week. Yeah, I don't want
- 5:07Speaker 1: to start at episode one.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Oh god, no, girl, No, we'll start the current episode.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Like we'll do like a little recap of what's come
- 5:14Speaker 1: before and then we'll just jump in with everybody else.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I do want to see what's happening. Happening with those
- 5:21Speaker 1: whack ass Merryfields.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Oh my god, Yeah, he's got another international.
- 5:27Speaker 1: And then the dude in Colorado with the big bed with.
- 5:32Speaker 2: The unemployed, the unemployed dude, yeah.
- 5:34Speaker 1: With the big bed. L he's got a new woman.
- 5:38Speaker 1: And I just saw something on my Instagram timeline. This
- 5:41Speaker 1: woman was on a podcast in what she was saying
- 5:44Speaker 1: like that she was a literal prostitute for like fourteen
- 5:48Speaker 1: years or something, and like TLC is not allowing her
- 5:53Speaker 1: to speak on that, and also, yeah, we share it
- 5:56Speaker 1: at all.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I was just going to say that apparently that new
- 5:59Speaker 2: girl friend divulged that all the women and that relationship
- 6:04Speaker 2: fuck each other as well. In that big old bed,
- 6:07Speaker 2: which we had talked about, of.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Course we wondered, I mean, if you're all sleeping in
- 6:11Speaker 1: the same enormous bed, of course y'all are getting freaky.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I would imagine so mean hell, But for whatever reason,
- 6:19Speaker 1: TLC does not want that family to admit that, I'm.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Wondering, holyphobic.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yeah, no, for real though, Like why wouldn't you. That's
- 6:27Speaker 1: part of the lifestyle, that's part of the alternative lifestyle
- 6:31Speaker 1: that we're interested in, and you're like censoring who they
- 6:34Speaker 1: are and what they're doing like that. It could be
- 6:36Speaker 1: so much better if we knew.
- 6:37Speaker 2: That, I mean last season, that that hotel season or
- 6:41Speaker 2: hotel scene last season puts everything into perspective, because you
- 6:45Speaker 2: remember they were all in the hotel, like all on
- 6:47Speaker 2: top of each other, kissing Nick that's his name.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I don't remember at all anything about it with the
- 6:53Speaker 1: big old buds. I don't I know they got big
- 6:56Speaker 1: old boy, but I don't remember the hotel thing. I
- 6:58Speaker 1: have to as soon as tub. Yeaht a hotel y
- 7:01Speaker 1: hot tub?
- 7:01Speaker 2: Did I say hotel?
- 7:02Speaker 1: I think you did the hot tub? Oh yeah. The
- 7:05Speaker 1: booty soup. Yeah, girl, the booty soup. Oh yeah, we
- 7:09Speaker 1: were wondering. Yeah for sure. Okay, I'm a little bit
- 7:12Speaker 1: interested too. I'm definitely willing to cover it if y'all
- 7:16Speaker 1: want us to, so again, drop in the comments let
- 7:19Speaker 1: us know. And also, Beatrice, you just told me for
- 7:21Speaker 1: our listeners out there of like the actual pod, we
- 7:24Speaker 1: are almost at one million downloads for the year of
- 7:27Speaker 1: Our Lord twenty twenty five. That is crazy, that's awesome.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Thank you guys so much.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know why we're really not moving
- 7:34Speaker 1: the needle on YouTube given how awesome we clearly are.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But like the folks who are listening on the pod
- 7:40Speaker 1: on just the general Apple podcasts or whatever, yeah, you're
- 7:43Speaker 1: downloading the hell out of this. So we just want
- 7:45Speaker 1: to thank you guys so very much.
- 7:47Speaker 2: We love it.
- 7:47Speaker 1: And when we hit a million, you know, I'm going
- 7:49Speaker 1: to be announced.
- 7:50Speaker 2: We're going to be torking.
- 7:51Speaker 1: You're going to be torking. I ain't got nothing to
- 7:53Speaker 1: work with you do though, big old boot I got
- 7:56Speaker 1: big back. Yeah boot it, big back, big booty. All Right,
- 8:02Speaker 1: without further ado, let's get into today's recap of Sister
- 8:07Speaker 1: Wives Season twenty, Good Lord, episode true entitled Welcome to
- 8:15Speaker 1: speed Dating. Oh my God.
- 8:18Speaker 2: And that's exactly where we start. This week. Mary's in
- 8:21Speaker 2: Salt Lake City. She's at her big speed dating event
- 8:25Speaker 2: with Jen. They're like practicing what she's gonna say before
- 8:30Speaker 2: all of the eligible suitors arrive.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Like four decrepit old people.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Well one of them was young.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah, how did he end up there? I'm sure he
- 8:40Speaker 1: was a production planned, but I feel like all albody
- 8:43Speaker 1: else was like, God, bless, God bless. Sure you love
- 8:46Speaker 1: a senior citizen.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Okay, it's senior citizens speed dating.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Did you notice, though, that Mary wore a red blazer,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and so did Olivia Plath when she was coming out,
- 9:00Speaker 1: started to go to the bars and wanted to meet
- 9:02Speaker 1: new people. She also had her red real estate blazer on.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Maybe it's like a former fundie or a former cult
- 9:08Speaker 1: fashion choice. I just found it interesting.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Maybe they think red means sexy or powerful. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 2: the powerful, sexy single woman. Yes, and Mary has just
- 9:18Speaker 2: given us the same old spiel that we heard last
- 9:20Speaker 2: week where she's like all worried about telling these men
- 9:24Speaker 2: about polygamy because she doesn't know what they're gonna think.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And I'm like, you're literally in Salt Lake City, Utah,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and people know who you are so and.
- 9:33Speaker 1: They're acquainted hello with the idea of polygamy. Everybody there
- 9:38Speaker 1: absolutely knows your name, knows what you've been through, just
- 9:43Speaker 1: like David. Yeah, we got confirmation last week that he
- 9:46Speaker 1: had actually watched the show, because I thought that was
- 9:48Speaker 1: in question m when we had the wedding special. But like,
- 9:51Speaker 1: so these guys know who you are. Yeah, there's nothing
- 9:53Speaker 1: wrong with that. And also own it for all your shit.
- 9:57Speaker 1: And if part of your shit is you come from
- 10:00Speaker 1: a polygamoust lifestyle or you were married to a complete
- 10:02Speaker 1: and total jackass who neglected you, like, just own it
- 10:06Speaker 1: and don't be ashamed of it and allow people to
- 10:08Speaker 1: talk about it.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, hashtag worthy of take your own advice.
- 10:12Speaker 1: What is the problem?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Gosh? So we go through a couple eligible bachelors. We
- 10:17Speaker 2: start off with this guy named Lee who was like painful.
- 10:20Speaker 1: To one, what a drip?
- 10:22Speaker 2: Lee?
- 10:22Speaker 1: You were a drip?
- 10:23Speaker 2: Doesn't know how to talk to anybody. Mary's so not
- 10:27Speaker 2: into it. Then we move on to some guy named Jeff,
- 10:30Speaker 2: and this is the guy that made a joke about
- 10:32Speaker 2: polygamy or something. I didn't understand the joke and Mary.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Getting married twice but not at the same time.
- 10:39Speaker 2: That was cute.
- 10:40Speaker 1: It was kind of a dumb dad joke here, but
- 10:43Speaker 1: like Mary immediately says something like, well, I don't like
- 10:46Speaker 1: dumb jokes, and I'm thinking to myself, like, every joke
- 10:51Speaker 1: that you tell is a dumb joke.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Is so dumb, super dumb, super favorite joke you tell
- 10:58Speaker 2: is dumb.
- 10:58Speaker 1: And when you're playing around with Jen on the show
- 11:01Speaker 1: or on your live you both are stupid and silly.
- 11:04Speaker 1: But all of a sudden, you don't like a dumb joke.
- 11:07Speaker 1: And obviously he didn't mean anything by it. Yeah, but
- 11:09Speaker 1: she was so prickly. And you know what that made
- 11:12Speaker 1: me think about was Christine Brownwooly's book, which again we
- 11:16Speaker 1: are currently going over on Patreon, and there are a
- 11:20Speaker 1: few instances of her describing her relationship with Mary and
- 11:24Speaker 1: some specific things that happened that caused her to just
- 11:27Speaker 1: call that friendship quits. Like She's like, I can't do
- 11:30Speaker 1: it anymore. And so it feels like, based on Christine's
- 11:33Speaker 1: book that Mary was a very problematic personality. She still
- 11:38Speaker 1: is very very brash and rude and judgmental, And in
- 11:42Speaker 1: this moment with that guy who didn't mean anything by that,
- 11:45Speaker 1: you could kind of see how prickly she actually is
- 11:48Speaker 1: totally and like how inflexible she is and unwilling to
- 11:51Speaker 1: laugh at herself. I was just like, oh god, you're
- 11:53Speaker 1: a drip.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and super judgmental for like no reason. I'm like,
- 11:57Speaker 2: this guy's a stranger. Just laugh at his stupid joke.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Move on, like that's the polite thing to do, Like
- 12:02Speaker 2: it's not a big deal. You'll never have to see
- 12:04Speaker 2: this guy ever again in your life. Like, I don't
- 12:07Speaker 2: know why you have to act all like snooty and
- 12:10Speaker 2: hold your nose up high. I don't like that, Like
- 12:12Speaker 2: chill girl. And then we meet a couple other rando's,
- 12:15Speaker 2: some guy named John. She had a good conversation with him.
- 12:18Speaker 2: He's very not memorable at all. Daniel, who was like
- 12:22Speaker 2: thirty seven or something like that, thirty five, and she
- 12:26Speaker 2: was like, oh my god, you're way too young to
- 12:28Speaker 2: be here.
- 12:28Speaker 1: And she kind of liked him the best a little bit.
- 12:31Speaker 2: She liked him well because he was charismatic.
- 12:34Speaker 1: He's alive, he has energy. He wasn't sundowning, he was animating.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Yes, that is awful. Sorry you aren't. But yeah, she
- 12:49Speaker 2: liked him, but didn't like the fact that he was
- 12:51Speaker 2: so young. I feel like she felt like uncomfortable by that.
- 12:54Speaker 2: But I'm like, it's okay, Mary, it's fine. Go watch
- 12:57Speaker 2: milk Manner. Yeah, there's those men exist, there's Supress.
- 13:00Speaker 1: It's been done.
- 13:01Speaker 2: She like went off about like why he was even there,
- 13:04Speaker 2: Like she did he understand the age group, blah blah blah.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I'm like, it's okay, it's a production plan.
- 13:09Speaker 1: So for real, he's there because he's furthering the show.
- 13:12Speaker 1: May he's not serious about it exactly.
- 13:15Speaker 2: And then we meet mister Ron, who was the most
- 13:18Speaker 2: handsome the last courting. Yeah, most handsome according to Mary.
- 13:22Speaker 2: He was tall and she really liked the conversation with him.
- 13:26Speaker 2: He's also the one that asked her her love language.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so he has that dialed in. Yeah, and
- 13:32Speaker 1: she really liked that. And I think he had like
- 13:35Speaker 1: a vision board. He's also got like a home in
- 13:38Speaker 1: Florida and a home in Utah or wants to. And
- 13:41Speaker 1: so he's got ambition. He loves to travel, yeah, which
- 13:44Speaker 1: is very important for Mary. She's like, I do road trips,
- 13:47Speaker 1: I like to go, I like to do stuff.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And so they did seem like kind of a nice match.
- 13:52Speaker 1: And she also appreciated that he was dressed in the
- 13:55Speaker 1: right way. He wasn't a fuddy duddy.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It came out to impress, yeah, and she seemed impressed.
- 14:01Speaker 2: She did seem impressed. And then after he asked her
- 14:04Speaker 2: about the love languages and we have a conversation about
- 14:07Speaker 2: what the five late love languages are. And then we
- 14:10Speaker 2: have to hear from fucking Cody who wants to tell
- 14:13Speaker 2: us his love language that he learned personally from Robin.
- 14:17Speaker 1: From an experience with Robin when she was touching him
- 14:21Speaker 1: and maybe licking him. And he's like, oh my god,
- 14:24Speaker 1: I think touch is my love language. Stop and I'm disgusted,
- 14:28Speaker 1: And nobody asked you, and why are you piping in
- 14:31Speaker 1: with your two cents?
- 14:32Speaker 2: I mean really, I'm sick, Like why do we need
- 14:34Speaker 2: to know that? I'm sick of it too? And then
- 14:38Speaker 2: at the end, you know, Mary's got to write down
- 14:41Speaker 2: who she liked, and Jen talks to Mary about who
- 14:44Speaker 2: she liked, and you.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Know, I don't care. I don't care either, But like
- 14:49Speaker 1: Mary did seem reticent to fill out the form to
- 14:53Speaker 1: like take the next step. I feel like Mary's actually
- 14:56Speaker 1: really insecure in this process. I think she's putting on
- 15:00Speaker 1: these confident worthy up airs, but she really doesn't know
- 15:04Speaker 1: what to do. Like, and she's been married to the
- 15:06Speaker 1: same guy for thirty three years or whatever it was,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and she doesn't have a lot of worldly experience out
- 15:13Speaker 1: there navigating other relationships, so I can understand that. But
- 15:17Speaker 1: if she doesn't give that last guy was his name,
- 15:19Speaker 1: ron Rony, she doesn't give him a chance, then she's
- 15:22Speaker 1: a dummy because I thought he was pretty great.
- 15:24Speaker 2: I think so too. Yeah, and she deserves to find happiness,
- 15:27Speaker 2: and even though it's a little cringey at times and everything,
- 15:29Speaker 2: she deserves to find herself a good mean.
- 15:33Speaker 1: She does, But like she also shouldn't act like she's
- 15:35Speaker 1: above it all, oh for sure, like she's better than everybody,
- 15:38Speaker 1: which she kind of does as well.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Well. And that's what's like weird to me, is like
- 15:41Speaker 2: I could totally understand and empathize with her being insecure
- 15:44Speaker 2: because you were with the same man since you were nineteen. Like,
- 15:47Speaker 2: I can't imagine divorcing and then being single at fifty
- 15:51Speaker 2: four or whatever and then having to figure out dating.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I get that that's so hard, and like, more props
- 15:57Speaker 2: to her for even going to like a little speed
- 15:59Speaker 2: dating event, but don't act judgmental and rude.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I do think that's a compensation for the insecurity.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like it.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I think she probably doesn't know that she's coming
- 16:09Speaker 1: off that way. And I'm wondering if she understands that
- 16:13Speaker 1: she's also coming off as very orange, Like what is happening?
- 16:19Speaker 1: What is happening?
- 16:20Speaker 2: Is it?
- 16:21Speaker 1: Is it like the foundation?
- 16:23Speaker 2: Is is it a spray Tand it looks like spray
- 16:26Speaker 2: Tand I don't But why did yes?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Because Jen looked normal? But like then there was Mary.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I know it was kind of crazy. She just needs
- 16:33Speaker 1: a little bit of assistance. And I don't know why,
- 16:36Speaker 1: after all these years on television, we can't like give
- 16:39Speaker 1: these ladies a stylist or help somebody, like bring somebody
- 16:43Speaker 1: in with some makeup tips, like some hair tips, married
- 16:47Speaker 1: marry your hair.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Oh lord.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I don't want to go too crazy because God, bless,
- 16:52Speaker 1: I can understand.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I guess, I mean your hair. I know, it's the hair,
- 16:58Speaker 2: it's the eyebrows its sprayed.
- 17:00Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 17:01Speaker 2: It's a lot.
- 17:02Speaker 1: It's a lot. But Ron said he liked how she looked.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I mean, hey, he liked how she was put together.
- 17:07Speaker 1: So yeah, more power to you.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Marry you know what, don't yuck someone's young, that's right,
- 17:13Speaker 2: My bad, My bad. And then we bop on over
- 17:17Speaker 2: to Cody and Robin and their MC mansion, and this
- 17:22Speaker 2: is where we have a conversation about Coyote Pass that
- 17:26Speaker 2: ultimately leads into a conversation about them moving into their
- 17:30Speaker 2: newer MC mansion. But we start off with talking about
- 17:34Speaker 2: Coyote Pass dividing up the parcels. Cody says he wants
- 17:39Speaker 2: to be fair and divide everything up equally. He's like
- 17:43Speaker 2: talking to Robin about whose name's going on? What I
- 17:46Speaker 2: guess they're putting everybody's names on everything, so that way
- 17:49Speaker 2: everybody gets twenty five percent.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Well are we outside at this point or are we inside?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Because they had like two simpers, so we're inside. Okay, Yeah,
- 17:56Speaker 1: So by the time we're inside, he has wanting he
- 18:00Speaker 1: has decided to put everybody's name on each parcel of land.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I don't get to get it.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I don't understand how or why. But when we're outside,
- 18:08Speaker 1: like in the beginning, that's when we're having the conversation
- 18:11Speaker 1: about Coyote Pass kind of being a symbol at least
- 18:15Speaker 1: to Robin of like what the family was yea, and
- 18:18Speaker 1: the vision for the family. And so for her, this
- 18:21Speaker 1: is what she's saying. Do we believe her, No, we
- 18:22Speaker 1: don't know. She wants to steal everything. What she's telling
- 18:25Speaker 1: the camera is that, like she's really emotional about what
- 18:29Speaker 1: it symbolizes and the fact that you know, they lost everything,
- 18:32Speaker 1: the family was broken, and she's just not ready to
- 18:35Speaker 1: move on. I don't know if I'm ready to move on.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I'm still thinking about how I might be able to
- 18:40Speaker 1: legally steal this from these ladies. Maybe she needs more
- 18:44Speaker 1: time to figure that out. So that conversation was a
- 18:47Speaker 1: bit frustrating. And even if you don't know what you
- 18:51Speaker 1: want to do or how you want to do it,
- 18:54Speaker 1: it costs you nothing to just reach out to Janelle
- 18:56Speaker 1: and Mary and let them know, hey, we want to
- 18:59Speaker 1: resolve this with you. Yeah, but Robin is struggling, right now,
- 19:03Speaker 1: and you know, we're just going to take a little
- 19:05Speaker 1: bit of time, but we're definitely going to get there.
- 19:06Speaker 1: But like Cody has gone absolutely radio silent with Janelle
- 19:10Speaker 1: and Mary, and he's doing it to be punitive, yep,
- 19:14Speaker 1: and to make him wonder what he's ultimately going to do.
- 19:17Speaker 1: It's a narcissistic control play. And it's not until they
- 19:21Speaker 1: actually lawyer up and he's like, Okay, whoa wait.
- 19:25Speaker 2: It's going to be fair. Yeah, I was going to
- 19:27Speaker 2: divide everything.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Up, dick move.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Like when Mary and Janelle are skyping each other in
- 19:31Speaker 2: North Carolina and they're talking about this very issue, Like
- 19:35Speaker 2: Cody tells Janelle, Hey, I'm going to divide the property
- 19:40Speaker 2: up into this way, so make sure you tell Mary
- 19:42Speaker 2: about that, because he's not grown enough to just tell
- 19:46Speaker 2: Mary as well. He's afraid to.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Talk to her by Beatrice because based on what we're
- 19:52Speaker 1: seeing from season nineteen and eighteen, I mean, Mary was
- 19:55Speaker 1: the closest to them. Yeah, Like he drops Mary off
- 19:58Speaker 1: at the Haunted B and B and he's crying. They
- 20:01Speaker 1: have subsequent conversations about the spiritual release. They seem to
- 20:05Speaker 1: leave things on a good note. So why in particular
- 20:08Speaker 1: does he have a problem with Mary other than he
- 20:11Speaker 1: tells the camera that she nags. Yeah, so he doesn't
- 20:15Speaker 1: want to talk to her because she's going to nag me.
- 20:16Speaker 1: But she's obviously not nagging you because you're not even
- 20:20Speaker 1: talking to her. So what do you see? He continues
- 20:22Speaker 1: to be so rude, yep, and insulting to these women
- 20:26Speaker 1: and then wonders why he has a problem with everybody.
- 20:29Speaker 2: That's what I don't get. I think the truth is
- 20:31Speaker 2: he just doesn't want to talk to them, just like
- 20:33Speaker 2: how he told Janelle, like I just don't really like you,
- 20:37Speaker 2: so I just don't want to deal with you, and
- 20:38Speaker 2: I don't want to return your phone calls or anything.
- 20:40Speaker 2: And like Janelle had said a couple times during this
- 20:43Speaker 2: episode that they had been divorced for two years, and
- 20:45Speaker 2: like it took that long for Cody to get off
- 20:49Speaker 2: his ass and actually put everybody's name on the parcels
- 20:52Speaker 2: so it could be divided. And according to Janelle, that
- 20:54Speaker 2: was like a relatively easy process and he should have
- 20:57Speaker 2: just done that to begin with, but he didn't want to.
- 21:00Speaker 2: And Cody, in some weird interstitial says that it was
- 21:04Speaker 2: Robin who wouldn't let him do anything naughty even though
- 21:08Speaker 2: he really wants to. And that's where he has that weird,
- 21:11Speaker 2: like evil laugh moment, and so I'm like, well, what
- 21:13Speaker 2: is it like? Were you the one holding up the process?
- 21:16Speaker 2: Was Robin the one holding up the process? I kind
- 21:19Speaker 2: of feel like it was both of them.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I think it was both of them. And him saying
- 21:23Speaker 1: that that she wouldn't let him do something naughty, is
- 21:26Speaker 1: him continuing to just try to cover for her so
- 21:29Speaker 1: people don't blame her. I think it was both of them,
- 21:32Speaker 1: and I think they were just being petty about it,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and until lawyers got involved and threatened them, because once
- 21:37Speaker 1: we have a lawsuit, like we can sue for a
- 21:40Speaker 1: few things, maybe yeah, let's open the books and see
- 21:42Speaker 1: what else we can sue for, Like you don't want
- 21:44Speaker 1: to fuck with litigation, in my opinion, So he just
- 21:48Speaker 1: as soon as they got lawyers, he's like, Okay, well
- 21:50Speaker 1: we'll make a deal.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Even then, I'm like, I don't even think it's that
- 21:53Speaker 2: fair of a deal, because why does Cody get twenty
- 21:56Speaker 2: five percent and Robin gets twenty five percent so collectively
- 21:59Speaker 2: they get half. Yeah that's bullshit. Yeah it should have
- 22:04Speaker 2: been split three ways. They each get thirty three percent.
- 22:07Speaker 2: So that way it is actually fair because Cody and
- 22:09Speaker 2: Robin's assets are joined. So that's why I think Robin
- 22:13Speaker 2: was really the main one who was holding back Coyote
- 22:17Speaker 2: Pass because she wanted her stipend, because she wanted to
- 22:22Speaker 2: have some money for all of her American girl dolls
- 22:24Speaker 2: and ambient.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I don't know, Like if my husband and myself and
- 22:29Speaker 1: you and my daughter went in on a place together,
- 22:32Speaker 1: like a piece of property together, and we wanted to
- 22:34Speaker 1: build out on it, I would want each and every
- 22:38Speaker 1: one of us to have an equal share in that
- 22:40Speaker 1: irrespective of what happened in my relationship, irrespective of what
- 22:43Speaker 1: happened in your relationship, you would still be twenty five
- 22:45Speaker 1: percent equal owner in that property, no matter what. That
- 22:48Speaker 1: kind of makes sense to me. And Robin does want
- 22:51Speaker 1: to have a legacy for herself, even though I know
- 22:53Speaker 1: that they have the mcmagon, even though I know she's
- 22:55Speaker 1: the legal wife, even though I know she could take
- 22:57Speaker 1: him for half, if not more. But in theory and
- 23:01Speaker 1: on principle, I can see why they did it that way.
- 23:04Speaker 2: In a scenario like our family, where there's trust and
- 23:07Speaker 2: there's honesty, good will and goodwill and like you have
- 23:10Speaker 2: good intentions. Sure in the scenario of Cody, Robin, Mary
- 23:15Speaker 2: and Janelle. No, because Cody and Robin have obviously siphoned
- 23:19Speaker 2: all of this money. They're in one McMansion, they're going
- 23:22Speaker 2: to go and buy another McMansion bigger, Like it's more
- 23:25Speaker 2: absolutely ridiculous to me that they were even doing that.
- 23:29Speaker 2: But like I was talking to Ethel about this, Ethel's like,
- 23:32Speaker 2: Mary and Janelle probably just wanted to get out of it,
- 23:35Speaker 2: settle and be done, and you know that's fair. Yeah,
- 23:38Speaker 2: I get it.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Didn't we hear that Janelle was actually waiting for the
- 23:42Speaker 1: payout from Coyote Pass in order to start building at
- 23:46Speaker 1: Tayata Farms. Oh, I remember that. I think so, And
- 23:50Speaker 1: that kind of does coincide because I think they sold
- 23:53Speaker 1: Coti Pass in April of this year and she is
- 23:56Speaker 1: just breaking ground now. She's releasing photos on Instagram of
- 23:59Speaker 1: the build and so I think it was all tied
- 24:01Speaker 1: together and she just wanted to get it over with
- 24:03Speaker 1: start her new life. And I get that.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I get it too, And I mean, at least it
- 24:06Speaker 2: wasn't like they were getting totally fucked over, like they
- 24:09Speaker 2: did get a quarter each. So I mean, that's fine, cool,
- 24:12Speaker 2: that's great. I just hate that Robin got anything, Yeah,
- 24:15Speaker 2: I really do.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:17Speaker 2: And so after they discussed dividing the parcels of Coyote Pass,
- 24:21Speaker 2: then it moves into a conversation about how Cody really
- 24:25Speaker 2: wants to move because this big mansion and all of
- 24:29Speaker 2: its beautiful glory with the heated driveway is just filled
- 24:32Speaker 2: with so much sadness and like, I just really want
- 24:35Speaker 2: to start over.
- 24:37Speaker 1: So they're having this conversation inside the house, and they're
- 24:41Speaker 1: presenting it to us, the very savvy viewing audience, as
- 24:45Speaker 1: if this is just occurring to them, and so they're
- 24:47Speaker 1: trying to hash it out, like would would we be
- 24:50Speaker 1: willing to move? Like what do you actually think about that?
- 24:53Speaker 1: And then we take a look at the background, and
- 24:56Speaker 1: it's obviously been cleared out and cleaned up, and so
- 25:00Speaker 1: I know that they're already listing this house, like this
- 25:03Speaker 1: house has already been prepared for showings. And they're pretending
- 25:07Speaker 1: though that there is just occurring to them now and
- 25:09Speaker 1: they're really actually starting to seriously think about moving, Like
- 25:12Speaker 1: everything you say and that you do is a lie.
- 25:15Speaker 1: They probably have already found the home. Yeah, for sure,
- 25:17Speaker 1: they probably have already contracted on it. I'm just like,
- 25:20Speaker 1: oh my god, here we go. And so now we
- 25:23Speaker 1: have to buy into your trauma. The hardest things in
- 25:27Speaker 1: your life that you've ever had to deal with to
- 25:29Speaker 1: happened in this house. And he does reference Garrison.
- 25:32Speaker 2: That pissed me off. Why well, because I'm just like,
- 25:35Speaker 2: you're just using this as an excuse to funnel your
- 25:38Speaker 2: narrative to make it look less bad in air quotes
- 25:42Speaker 2: like that, You're going to go buy another two point
- 25:44Speaker 2: one million dollar mansion that we know you don't fucking deserve,
- 25:48Speaker 2: and you are funding with all this money that you
- 25:52Speaker 2: stole from the OG.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Three whole family. So I can see that missed me
- 25:56Speaker 1: with saying the memory of Garrison and his passing in
- 25:59Speaker 1: order to justify your up leveling your lifestyle, yeah, is
- 26:04Speaker 1: pretty pretty freaking gross.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Yeah. And he does that with Garrison, and then he
- 26:07Speaker 2: also brings Truly into the picture and says, well, Truly
- 26:11Speaker 2: would come and visit more if she had her own space.
- 26:14Speaker 2: What do you mean, dude, why doesn't.
- 26:17Speaker 1: She have her own space? Now, you guys have been
- 26:20Speaker 1: in this house for five, six, seven years, however long
- 26:24Speaker 1: it's been. You've got three adult children who don't need
- 26:27Speaker 1: their own rooms in mommy and Daddy's them. They should
- 26:30Speaker 1: be living on their own, They should be having apartments
- 26:32Speaker 1: of their own, roommates or whatever. You could have built
- 26:35Speaker 1: something out for Truly in the basement, like I know.
- 26:38Speaker 1: In Christine's book, she talks about how Truly decided ultimately
- 26:43Speaker 1: not to go back to the McMansion because she never
- 26:46Speaker 1: had any place to sleep, and one time when she visited,
- 26:49Speaker 1: they put her in a room that had a door
- 26:51Speaker 1: to the outside, like, and so she was nervous, and
- 26:54Speaker 1: she was worried and a little scared, and so they
- 26:57Speaker 1: never prepared a place for her, Like the one room
- 26:59Speaker 1: they put her in didn't have any curtains on the windows.
- 27:02Speaker 1: So like, now you're concerned about having a house big
- 27:06Speaker 1: enough to take care of Truly, when you could have
- 27:07Speaker 1: done that the entire time. I feel so bad for Truly,
- 27:12Speaker 1: me too. I don't know if she's watching this right now,
- 27:14Speaker 1: or if she will someday when she's older go back
- 27:18Speaker 1: through this and watch it. It's really sad and insulting.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Well, and it's ridiculous to me. I'm just like, you
- 27:24Speaker 2: don't even want your other kids to visit you, So
- 27:27Speaker 2: stop name dropping, truly when you probably don't have any
- 27:30Speaker 2: relationship with her and you're saying like, oh, we have
- 27:33Speaker 2: to have a new mcmnsion so that way truly can
- 27:36Speaker 2: come Like she's the.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Last thing they mentioned. He mentions his business. I need
- 27:39Speaker 1: to have enough space to do my business. He mentions grandchildren.
- 27:43Speaker 1: He's not talking about maddie's children. He's not talking about
- 27:47Speaker 1: mckelty's children. He's talking about the grandchildren that Aurora and
- 27:51Speaker 1: Brianna and Dayton and the rest of his kids will
- 27:53Speaker 1: have for him someday. Yep. So they're not even here
- 27:55Speaker 1: in the world yet, but they still come before him
- 27:58Speaker 1: mentioning truly. Last thing he mentions in terms of a house.
- 28:01Speaker 1: So they're trying to get us to buy into the
- 28:04Speaker 1: idea that they need this huge home for all of
- 28:07Speaker 1: the kids that they have estranged themselves from and their
- 28:10Speaker 1: grandkids that are never going to visit them, just so
- 28:12Speaker 1: that they can have like this huge house. Yeah, they
- 28:14Speaker 1: want to up level their life.
- 28:15Speaker 2: That's exactly it.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Despicable.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Then you want to bring Garrison in and try and
- 28:19Speaker 2: get sympathy points because you want to start over. Because
- 28:23Speaker 2: this house is filled with too much sadness because this
- 28:25Speaker 2: was the house where you got the phone call of
- 28:27Speaker 2: his death. Like, fuck you, dude, you went to fucking
- 28:32Speaker 2: Cody Wyoming and talked about selling signs when you were
- 28:36Speaker 2: there for your son's memorial, Like, shut up.
- 28:40Speaker 1: And I can't imagine that you couldn't have hung out
- 28:43Speaker 1: with the family when you went to Wyoming for the memorial.
- 28:47Speaker 1: I feel like they would have been open to having
- 28:49Speaker 1: you there, but I don't think you wanted to be there, No,
- 28:52Speaker 1: And so you only really bring this kind of stuff
- 28:54Speaker 1: up when you want to use it for your benefit, yep.
- 28:57Speaker 2: And then you want us to believe that you need
- 28:59Speaker 2: a time two point one million dollar mansion. I'm like
- 29:01Speaker 2: looking at this house that's nice and cleared out of
- 29:04Speaker 2: all of Robin's bullshit, and I'm like, this house is massive,
- 29:07Speaker 2: Like that deck that they have overlooking the trees up there,
- 29:11Speaker 2: I mean, it's absolutely gorgeous, Like you don't need something bigger?
- 29:14Speaker 2: Like who the fuck do you guys think you are?
- 29:17Speaker 2: Like you guys really think you're like fucking real Housewives
- 29:21Speaker 2: of OCD, Like they think they're so fucking famous and awesome,
- 29:24Speaker 2: And I just, ugh, I hate that.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I wonder how many square feet the old McMansion was.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I mean, if I'm looking at it, and if i'm
- 29:32Speaker 1: including the basement, which you don't always do, but I'm
- 29:34Speaker 1: sure it's finished, it's got to be like four thousand
- 29:37Speaker 1: some odd square feet. Please, enormous. This house is eighteen
- 29:40Speaker 1: hundred square feet, right, So it's four times the size
- 29:44Speaker 1: of this house.
- 29:45Speaker 2: And you have room for people to come stay over.
- 29:47Speaker 1: And what's your house? Your house is like twenty one
- 29:49Speaker 1: hundred square feet or whatever, So it's twice the size
- 29:51Speaker 1: of that at least, yeah, at least plus all the
- 29:54Speaker 1: decking and all the land. I think they're on four
- 29:56Speaker 1: acres or whatever. And Janelle even mentions this. She's like, well,
- 30:00Speaker 1: I don't think anybody ever really wanted to live out
- 30:03Speaker 1: on Coyote Pass. I don't think anybody wanted to develop
- 30:06Speaker 1: or build. I know I did, and I would have.
- 30:08Speaker 1: It would have been fine, But Cody and Robin didn't
- 30:11Speaker 1: want to. They lived in that big fucking house which
- 30:14Speaker 1: is right next to Coyote Pass. So where's the incentive
- 30:18Speaker 1: to want to build when you have a mansion right there?
- 30:20Speaker 2: I mean exactly? And then Robin wants to fake cry
- 30:24Speaker 2: about how it'd be so hard to watch Coyote Pass
- 30:27Speaker 2: get bought by somebody else, and that's why they got
- 30:29Speaker 2: to move away from it, because oh my god, I'd
- 30:31Speaker 2: be so depressed.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Shut up.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah, like nobody buys any of this. I just can't
- 30:36Speaker 2: believe it. Like I knew that we would eventually have
- 30:38Speaker 2: to bring up the fact that they're getting the McMansion.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I'm surprised we're doing it already in episode two and
- 30:43Speaker 2: not like episode fifteen.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Right, but like for next season?
- 30:46Speaker 2: Yeah, right, right, exactly, But like I just I don't know.
- 30:50Speaker 2: I expected like a better story, but maybe that's on
- 30:54Speaker 2: me for expecting.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Well, I mean, it would be awesome if we actually
- 30:58Speaker 1: got the truth, right, but we're never to get that.
- 31:00Speaker 2: No, it's crazy, And I forgot to mention. I think
- 31:03Speaker 2: it was last episode, like Cody's driving a Mercedes. Yeah,
- 31:07Speaker 2: so I'm like, where's all this money? How do you
- 31:10Speaker 2: guys even have all of this money? I don't understand,
- 31:13Speaker 2: And then you're going to get a two point one
- 31:14Speaker 2: million dollar mansion with a crazy mortgage, Like I don't
- 31:18Speaker 2: understand how they're affording all of this.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah, because they only put down four hundred thousand dollars
- 31:22Speaker 1: which they had in a trust as a down payment
- 31:24Speaker 1: for that home, which takes it down to one point
- 31:27Speaker 1: seven million that you're going to have to mortgage. And
- 31:29Speaker 1: of course we're counting their coins and we don't know
- 31:31Speaker 1: exactly what the case is, but that's still a whole
- 31:35Speaker 1: lot of money. And then if you're going to be
- 31:37Speaker 1: doing renovations, because when we saw the inside of the house,
- 31:40Speaker 1: when we all looked on the zillow, yeah, it was
- 31:42Speaker 1: a little dated. I mean it looked kind of booty
- 31:44Speaker 1: to me, and it was like a whole lot of
- 31:46Speaker 1: square footage of a lot that I would need to
- 31:48Speaker 1: have to redo. So I would assume they're going to
- 31:50Speaker 1: be putting some money into it anyway, like you're and
- 31:52Speaker 1: then you have a fleet of cars, and I think
- 31:54Speaker 1: he referenced that in season nineteen, like all of the
- 31:56Speaker 1: bills and the things that he pays for, I pay
- 31:58Speaker 1: for everybody's car. I pay for all of the insurance.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Well but for Robin's kids, right, not for any of
- 32:05Speaker 1: the other kids. But like it's a Mercedes. It's like
- 32:08Speaker 1: these are very expensive cars. You're also ensuring them. You're
- 32:11Speaker 1: sending all these kids to school. I have to believe,
- 32:14Speaker 1: and I would love to hear what y'all think, but
- 32:16Speaker 1: I have to believe they are largely debt financing their
- 32:20Speaker 1: life expecting this particular gravy train to just keep on going.
- 32:24Speaker 2: They would have to be like and now Cody's on
- 32:27Speaker 2: Special Forces.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Maybe that's why he's doing Special Forces.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you'd have to because you'd have to
- 32:31Speaker 2: get some money, and like you do, get paid for
- 32:34Speaker 2: that show. But I don't know if it's like a
- 32:36Speaker 2: ton of money. I don't know, not as much as
- 32:38Speaker 2: Sister Wives, but like I just.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I don't I bet it's not a lot. But I
- 32:45Speaker 1: also think he is such a malignant narcissist that he's
- 32:48Speaker 1: really invested how in how everybody views him as a man,
- 32:53Speaker 1: as a masculine, strong, powerful man, that he would want
- 32:56Speaker 1: to be on Special Forces. So it could be the
- 32:58Speaker 1: money or it could just beasy go. I don't know,
- 33:01Speaker 1: but I hope he's getting paid because I do think
- 33:03Speaker 1: he needs money.
- 33:05Speaker 2: He's gonna need it, and he's probably gonna go on
- 33:07Speaker 2: other reality shows and stuff just to keep making money
- 33:09Speaker 2: because how else are you going to survive. I don't know.
- 33:12Speaker 1: Well, he's got a business, but he needs space for
- 33:15Speaker 1: in his new mcmash manchin. Wow, I don't know, You're
- 33:21Speaker 1: probably not, but and hopefully maybe we can learn a
- 33:24Speaker 1: bit more about his business, because we know that he's
- 33:28Speaker 1: been in the gun business for many, many years, but
- 33:30Speaker 1: he never talks about that. They only ever talk about
- 33:32Speaker 1: my sister wives, dumb ask lawses, and there are other
- 33:36Speaker 1: shit that they do, but they don't talk about his
- 33:38Speaker 1: actual gun business.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I just hate them so much. I do too.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I don't like him at all. I do not prefer him.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I do not like her.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I just hate that.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I don't. I can't take it.
- 33:47Speaker 2: I hate all the things that they have. I hate
- 33:49Speaker 2: how much money they I hate.
- 33:50Speaker 1: That they're prominently featured on the title card of this
- 33:53Speaker 1: show with the other three women who I want to
- 33:55Speaker 1: know about much more than them, like way in the background.
- 33:59Speaker 1: I hate it.
- 34:00Speaker 2: It's bullshit.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Yep.
- 34:02Speaker 2: And then the last part of the episode really is
- 34:04Speaker 2: Tony and Michelty deciding to move to North Carolina and
- 34:08Speaker 2: Christine's really Christine's but heard about it.
- 34:13Speaker 1: She's sad, She's very sad. Listen, when you moved away
- 34:18Speaker 1: from Texas to Phoenix. Yeah, I was devastated, and I
- 34:25Speaker 1: just remember you two driving away because you came and
- 34:28Speaker 1: stayed here before you left, and I just remember it
- 34:31Speaker 1: seared into my brain watching you pull out of the
- 34:34Speaker 1: driveway and drive away, and I was just like so heartbroken.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I was so sad. And you know, I'm going to
- 34:42Speaker 1: be leaving. I'm going to be going first to relocate
- 34:46Speaker 1: next year sometime, and I'm going to be pulling out
- 34:49Speaker 1: of the driveway. It's just like a devastating thing when
- 34:52Speaker 1: you are so close. And I think Christine and Michelti
- 34:56Speaker 1: are just that close. Yeah, which is actually a beautiful
- 34:59Speaker 1: thing because when McKelty was a teenager, they had a
- 35:03Speaker 1: very troubled relationship, and McKelty also had a troubled relationship
- 35:06Speaker 1: with Cody, but Christine didn't really know how to navigate
- 35:10Speaker 1: and manage mcalty. She was a bit of a wild card.
- 35:13Speaker 1: But now you know, with McKelty older and having her
- 35:16Speaker 1: children and being married, I think they really are so alike. Yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 1: they have a lot of fun together, and I think
- 35:23Speaker 1: it's going to be a huge blow to Christine to these.
- 35:26Speaker 2: I also could sense a little bit with my raccoon
- 35:29Speaker 2: fake psychic hat that like Christine was a little bitter,
- 35:32Speaker 2: that a lot of the family is moving out to
- 35:35Speaker 2: North Carolina.
- 35:35Speaker 1: When she said it with her mouth bowed.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Where Janella, Yeah, Like, I mean, she's a little bitter
- 35:38Speaker 2: about all the grandkids are out there, and it's like, well, Christine,
- 35:42Speaker 2: like you hitched your wagon to David and I'm assuming
- 35:45Speaker 2: that all of his family's probably in Utah, and she
- 35:47Speaker 2: likes Utah and they've got their rental properties and stuff.
- 35:50Speaker 2: But like that's just kind of like the nature of life,
- 35:52Speaker 2: and you can go fly out to North Carolina. I'm
- 35:54Speaker 2: sure she is going out as often as she can
- 35:57Speaker 2: to visit everybody, since a lot of the family is
- 35:59Speaker 2: really kating out there. But I get said she was
- 36:01Speaker 2: a little like but her like what the fuck?
- 36:04Speaker 1: Like why And then she tells us that Peyden wants
- 36:08Speaker 1: to move to North Carolina. And then she says, Gwen, yeah,
- 36:13Speaker 1: moving to North Carolina. That shocked me.
- 36:15Speaker 2: And is Aspen in Utah?
- 36:17Speaker 1: Right, Aspen is in Utah, Aspen and Mitch are and
- 36:20Speaker 1: truly are in Utah. Isabel is glow it's okay, still
- 36:23Speaker 1: in Utah, but like Isabelle was in North Carolina, moved
- 36:27Speaker 1: back to be around Christine in Utah. But like maybe
- 36:29Speaker 1: she's going to go back to North Carolina. And last
- 36:32Speaker 1: week we have Janelle telling us like she just wants
- 36:34Speaker 1: to build cabins on the property and have a big
- 36:37Speaker 1: house and like of a fire pit in an outdoor
- 36:40Speaker 1: cooking area. I'm just that's what I want. It's cooking,
- 36:43Speaker 1: like a memorial garden and all those beautiful things. And
- 36:46Speaker 1: while Christine doesn't want that specifically for herself, I do
- 36:49Speaker 1: think she's a little jelly totally that Janelle's building it
- 36:53Speaker 1: and all the kids are going.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and they all want to be there. But like
- 36:56Speaker 2: to be fair, like I feel like all the kids
- 36:58Speaker 2: bopped back and forth between and Janelle because they were
- 37:01Speaker 2: kind of the main moms. No friends, Mary, but like
- 37:04Speaker 2: they were the main moms and they weren't bitchy like
- 37:07Speaker 2: right Mary. So but like you know, I think it's
- 37:11Speaker 2: just the nature of things, like the kids bopping back
- 37:13Speaker 2: and forth. It seems like everybody really likes North Carolina,
- 37:17Speaker 2: and like you know, certainly after the passing of Garrison
- 37:20Speaker 2: and Cody and Robin just diging their heels into flag Staff,
- 37:24Speaker 2: like I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that. So
- 37:26Speaker 2: I don't blame them. I've never been in North Carolina.
- 37:28Speaker 2: It looks gorgeous.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I've been. It is gorgeous. It's it's quite nice. But
- 37:32Speaker 1: like Mary really hasn't created a life that's inviting to
- 37:37Speaker 1: any of the kids. Like, yes, she can travel and
- 37:40Speaker 1: she can drive to Vegas and she can visit Logan
- 37:42Speaker 1: and she can see Hunter when he's in town or whatever.
- 37:44Speaker 1: But like Janelle is going out of her way to
- 37:47Speaker 1: have a vision for the entire family, and Christine is
- 37:50Speaker 1: doing the same. Like Christine's got a big house, she's
- 37:51Speaker 1: got her properties. Yes, that is what they want, but
- 37:54Speaker 1: Mary really hasn't designed her life to facilitate that.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's the thing, like the kids will fall
- 38:00Speaker 2: hello the family where it's being cultivated, and if you
- 38:02Speaker 2: have moms that are like creating that family environment and
- 38:06Speaker 2: they want everybody to come in and not have to
- 38:09Speaker 2: knock and act a certain way, like they're going to
- 38:11Speaker 2: gravitate towards those people. So I just wonder what Mary
- 38:14Speaker 2: feels when she sees all of this, because I don't
- 38:17Speaker 2: think she's that close with Leon.
- 38:19Speaker 1: No, I don't know. Actually I hope that. I hope
- 38:22Speaker 1: that she is close with Leon, you know, and when
- 38:25Speaker 1: Janelle and Mary we're talking on the skype call. You know,
- 38:28Speaker 1: I just I felt like a little bit of not friendship,
- 38:32Speaker 1: but like maybe a little bit of companionability where it
- 38:35Speaker 1: would be okay for Janelle to say, Mary, why don't
- 38:38Speaker 1: you come out? Yeah, Like there's more than enough room.
- 38:40Speaker 1: We're going to have Thanksgiving. You know, you're you're welcome
- 38:43Speaker 1: and invited. I really hope they get to that place
- 38:46Speaker 1: me too. But like, if they're watching what we're watching
- 38:49Speaker 1: and some of the sniping comments that Mary continues to make,
- 38:52Speaker 1: like critiquing them for the way that they're conducting themselves
- 38:55Speaker 1: in the divorce, yep, I don't know if she's going
- 38:57Speaker 1: to get that invite.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Yeah, And I feel like Mary just all always has
- 39:00Speaker 2: her walls up, so maybe she doesn't even want that either.
- 39:03Speaker 2: But I'm like, girl, you'd be so much happier if
- 39:05Speaker 2: you just let loose a little.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Bit, chill out. Damn, not so deep serious, So have
- 39:10Speaker 1: some fun, have a cocktail and talk to people.
- 39:12Speaker 2: Oh real, But we have Christine and David. They're packing
- 39:16Speaker 2: up the U Haul for Tony mckelt. They're going to
- 39:20Speaker 2: drive it out to North Carolina, which is very sweet.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Yeah, David's awesome.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and It reminds me of what your husband did
- 39:25Speaker 2: with us, moving us to Phoenix and then moving us back,
- 39:27Speaker 2: and he drove the moving truck both times, and that
- 39:30Speaker 2: was the best thing ever.
- 39:32Speaker 1: And I when he went to get you, he had
- 39:35Speaker 1: to pick up girl the panel van in El Paso,
- 39:38Speaker 1: Texas because there was nothing available in the entire area
- 39:43Speaker 1: like New Mexico, Texas, Arizona. He had to go to
- 39:46Speaker 1: El Paso. He went to El Paso and then drove
- 39:49Speaker 1: from El Paso to your home in Phoenix. Yeah, loaded
- 39:53Speaker 1: your asses up and then drove you out here. And
- 39:57Speaker 1: like when we come and get you to move from
- 40:00Speaker 1: Texas to New England, which is where we are going,
- 40:02Speaker 1: and that's like a three day drive. Girl, I know
- 40:04Speaker 1: he's gonna come and get you. He's going to drive
- 40:07Speaker 1: the vehicle and he's going to take you all the way.
- 40:09Speaker 1: That's just who he is. And I think that's the
- 40:12Speaker 1: kind of guy that David is as well. And I
- 40:14Speaker 1: love that.
- 40:15Speaker 2: So much, love it so much. It made me so
- 40:17Speaker 2: happy to see that. And I love how David was
- 40:19Speaker 2: like super chipper and trying to keep the mood light.
- 40:22Speaker 2: It was annoying Christine a bit because Christine just wanted
- 40:25Speaker 2: to be sad and be emotional, and I get that,
- 40:27Speaker 2: but I feel like David was just trying to keep
- 40:31Speaker 2: the mood happy and to try and keep Christine from
- 40:34Speaker 2: being a sobbing mess because I know it's hard for
- 40:37Speaker 2: her to watch her kids and everything move across the country.
- 40:40Speaker 2: But he's like just trying to make light of it,
- 40:42Speaker 2: and I thought that was sweet.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I like his addition into her life. What did
- 40:46Speaker 1: you think of the whole scene with the dog. I'm
- 40:49Speaker 1: like that a production planned. I mean, that is a
- 40:52Speaker 1: groomed dog, yeah, does not have a collar on. I
- 40:56Speaker 1: didn't see any tags, but like, it just seemed very
- 40:58Speaker 1: odd that that dog was just right outside their door.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Yeah. I wonder if it's like a neighborhood dog that
- 41:04Speaker 2: just got out, because some of those little, little, young,
- 41:07Speaker 2: little squirrely dogs, they get out really easily.
- 41:10Speaker 1: So so I was a little taken aback by Christine's attitude
- 41:13Speaker 1: towards a dog. I would have expected because she's just
- 41:16Speaker 1: like such a fun and loving and nurturing person like
- 41:18Speaker 1: that she would be excited to say hello to the dog,
- 41:21Speaker 1: pull the dog, try to rescue the dog. Let's get
- 41:23Speaker 1: this dog back to its owner, like I'm worried about
- 41:26Speaker 1: the dog, but like she was just like.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Put it down and let's go, I know, because she
- 41:29Speaker 2: wanted to be sad and be upset, and she felt
- 41:31Speaker 2: like David was just fucking around and I'm like, chillow,
- 41:34Speaker 2: it's just a little dog. Yeah, he's running around with
- 41:37Speaker 2: it like it's fine.
- 41:38Speaker 1: It's not Robin kicking the dogs. But it's like not
- 41:41Speaker 1: loving the dog. And I don't get it. I love dogs,
- 41:43Speaker 1: I know, we do cats. I love animals. So that
- 41:45Speaker 1: was just a little bit of a non sequitor for
- 41:47Speaker 1: me with Christine.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it was odd, but maybe it's just
- 41:49Speaker 2: because she was in a bad mood. Yeah this, Mikelty
- 41:51Speaker 2: and Tony are moving.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 41:53Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 41:53Speaker 1: I'd be driving down the highway and this has happened
- 41:55Speaker 1: multiple times. Yeah, goddamn Texas where some dog is just
- 42:00Speaker 1: walking along the side of the highway and I'm like, Jeremy,
- 42:03Speaker 1: you're gonna have to stop this vehicle. We're gonna have
- 42:06Speaker 1: to get this dog. I mean, I'm telling you, like
- 42:08Speaker 1: three times since I've been in North Texas, I've gone
- 42:10Speaker 1: to get a dog. I've brought him home I've found
- 42:12Speaker 1: their owner, but like, I could just never leave a
- 42:14Speaker 1: dog me either. I'd be like, I'm gonna be what
- 42:17Speaker 1: the hell?
- 42:19Speaker 2: But no, she's getting all pissed off about it and like,
- 42:21Speaker 2: chill out, Christine. Yean. But before they get on the
- 42:26Speaker 2: road and everything, we have like a little interstitial with Christine.
- 42:31Speaker 2: I think it's in her kitchen with Michelty and Tony
- 42:34Speaker 2: and they're talking about moving and Tony talks about how
- 42:37Speaker 2: North Carolina is the chess capital of the world and
- 42:39Speaker 2: how it'd be really great for his chess career to
- 42:42Speaker 2: move out there, and Christine kind of makes like a
- 42:45Speaker 2: dig tourism. She's like, like, you're even gonna make money
- 42:48Speaker 2: and mckelty's.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Like, but he does.
- 42:50Speaker 2: He makes some money.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Well, she's like his chess career with the air quotes.
- 42:55Speaker 1: She catches herself having done it, and she apologizes for it,
- 42:58Speaker 1: but obviously she thinks it's an ain't shit decision. Dude.
- 43:02Speaker 2: I feel like Christine's not liked Tony since day one.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Yeah, well, she was always dubious with him from the beginning,
- 43:08Speaker 1: but I got the sense that they get along now,
- 43:10Speaker 1: but she's not happy that he's taking McKelty away. From Utah,
- 43:15Speaker 1: how do you get along? But then you say chess career, Well,
- 43:18Speaker 1: because we're all saying chess career. Because she's a sentient
- 43:21Speaker 1: person with eyes and a brain, I know, So of
- 43:23Speaker 1: course she's wondering how this man is going to take
- 43:25Speaker 1: care of her daughter, who I think is the prime
- 43:27Speaker 1: breadwinner because she's the one that's really being featured on
- 43:30Speaker 1: the patreon that people want to hear from, and I
- 43:32Speaker 1: think that's their main source of income. So she's dubious
- 43:35Speaker 1: and once Sister Wives goes away, and what are you
- 43:38Speaker 1: going to do? What are they going to do with
- 43:39Speaker 1: your patreon feature chess content? She's probably a little concerned.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I know I would be.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Even then. I've heard some people say that mckelty's patreon
- 43:49Speaker 2: ain't shit, like yeah, like sometimes she'll say some things,
- 43:52Speaker 2: but other times it's just like super boring.
- 43:54Speaker 1: But I think she has a lot of patrons. Yeah,
- 43:57Speaker 1: I mean she's probably got two three thousand patrons. Can
- 44:02Speaker 1: you imagine at like five to ten dollars, I don't
- 44:04Speaker 1: even know what the tears are. So they if they
- 44:06Speaker 1: still have that many patrons, they are making a great living.
- 44:11Speaker 2: Well, she's supporting Tony in his chess career.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Well, and she can, but like, what do you do
- 44:16Speaker 1: with this time though, where you're being so supported by
- 44:18Speaker 1: your wife and her family show, are you leveraging this
- 44:22Speaker 1: opportunity to create a real career for yourself? And that's
- 44:25Speaker 1: what I think Christine is like calling out, like, yeah, chess.
- 44:28Speaker 2: Career for sure. I mean, I agree. I just couldn't
- 44:32Speaker 2: believe it. I was laughing really hard at him talking
- 44:34Speaker 2: about his chess career and then having the little flashbacks
- 44:36Speaker 2: of him playing chess. I'm like, wow, man, this dude
- 44:39Speaker 2: I think is older than me and he's just talking
- 44:41Speaker 2: about how much he loves playing chess. Whatever you do,
- 44:45Speaker 2: you And so then they head over to well, they
- 44:48Speaker 2: head on the.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Road to we forgot us about come on, I knows goodbye,
- 44:53Speaker 1: But she's so pretty and she's so sweet and she's crying. Yeah,
- 44:58Speaker 1: and mckilty talks about how she's truly going to miss
- 45:01Speaker 1: Aspen and Isabelle and how they're so close, and I
- 45:04Speaker 1: thought that was really sweet.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that was sweet. Oh and we did have that
- 45:08Speaker 2: interstitial with Cody because apparently Cody was supposed to come
- 45:11Speaker 2: up and say goodbye to make Kelty and Tony before
- 45:14Speaker 2: moving but he didn't. And then Cody blames it on.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Schedules, didn't get their schedules moving the timeline up, and
- 45:22Speaker 1: so we don't really know. So we unfortunately we couldn't
- 45:25Speaker 1: connect in time. Okay, you suck. If it were a priority,
- 45:29Speaker 1: you'd have been there. And we all know that that's
- 45:31Speaker 1: not actually what happened. You didn't go because you're mad
- 45:33Speaker 1: because something happened at the funeral, because McKelty put her
- 45:36Speaker 1: foot down because Robin did or said something that offended
- 45:39Speaker 1: her beyond the pale, and now you all are no contact.
- 45:43Speaker 1: That's what the real thing is.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Well, and that's what's so funny to me because he
- 45:46Speaker 2: blames it on scheduling conflicts, right, but then he goes
- 45:49Speaker 2: right into how he's basically estranged from all of the
- 45:53Speaker 2: older children because of shit talk or trash talk and
- 45:58Speaker 2: innuindo and like how there's a been to hurt feelings
- 46:01Speaker 2: and he just doesn't want to deal with them or whatever.
- 46:03Speaker 2: And I'm like, you suck, dude, what.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Do you want your kids to do? Not talk to
- 46:08Speaker 1: one another. Their support system is their siblings, their support
- 46:13Speaker 1: system is their their moms. Yeah, so they're going to
- 46:16Speaker 1: talk amongst themselves and yeah, like we don't want to
- 46:19Speaker 1: be mean, and maybe Maddie was, and she did take
- 46:21Speaker 1: a little bit of ownership last week she's like, you know,
- 46:23Speaker 1: I'm sorry for my part of it. Maybe she was
- 46:25Speaker 1: a little harsh. I don't know, but like I think
- 46:27Speaker 1: it's valid, yeah, because you completely neglected all of the
- 46:31Speaker 1: kids and the moms and so they're supposed to talk
- 46:33Speaker 1: to one another, but that to you, them coping together
- 46:36Speaker 1: as a family, to you equals trash talk and innuendo
- 46:40Speaker 1: because you're a small, little, hateful leprechaun of a man.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Yep, And you don't actually care to work out your
- 46:46Speaker 2: relationships with any of them, because if you did, you
- 46:49Speaker 2: would try to talk to them, and you try to
- 46:51Speaker 2: meet up with them, and you try to figure out
- 46:53Speaker 2: like why they're her and what they want to talk
- 46:56Speaker 2: to you about. But you don't care about any of that.
- 46:58Speaker 2: You're just pissed off because your ego's here and you've
- 47:00Speaker 2: got your package deal with Robin and her kids, so
- 47:04Speaker 2: fuck them. Mm hm that's exactly what he's saying with
- 47:07Speaker 2: his actions. It just makes me so mad. And then
- 47:11Speaker 2: we have them going to North Carolina and they're talking
- 47:15Speaker 2: about how David wants to be a storm chaser, and
- 47:18Speaker 2: then lo and behold, they drive through a thunderstorm with
- 47:22Speaker 2: like possible tornadoes or whatever, and it's super dramatized, and
- 47:26Speaker 2: that kind of leads us into the preview for next week,
- 47:30Speaker 2: which is them literally driving through that storm and freaking
- 47:33Speaker 2: out for no reason.
- 47:34Speaker 1: So dumb I can. And that's why I'm wondering what
- 47:37Speaker 1: production is doing, because why do we need a to
- 47:40Speaker 1: be continued on the dumbass storm in the middle of
- 47:43Speaker 1: the Midwest that we've all driven through and it's gonna
- 47:46Speaker 1: be perfectly okay, Yeah, Like why are we gonna have
- 47:48Speaker 1: to pick up where we left off and continue to
- 47:50Speaker 1: talk about it? That's boring. Super content is not okay.
- 47:54Speaker 1: It's not good, I know.
- 47:56Speaker 2: So we have that driving through a storm in Kansas
- 47:59Speaker 2: or whatever, like nobody can cares. And then we have
- 48:01Speaker 2: Mary like having a girl's night and they're like painting
- 48:06Speaker 2: stuff and they make dick jokes with egg.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Plants eating egg plants. I can't touching egg plants, egg
- 48:14Speaker 1: plants in the pants.
- 48:15Speaker 2: I don't why.
- 48:16Speaker 1: I don't want to do senior citizen.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Eggplants and want to Seriously, I don't want to see
- 48:22Speaker 2: it at all, and then we have Cody and Robin
- 48:24Speaker 2: packing up their house, so like that was fast this episode.
- 48:27Speaker 2: We're talking about moving and now we're packing. Yep, got
- 48:30Speaker 2: it all right.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Yeah, they already had the place lined up.
- 48:34Speaker 2: I hope we get to see the house though, me too,
- 48:36Speaker 2: like I want to see inside of it.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Well, we do see Cody telling Robin that there's a
- 48:41Speaker 1: woman who wrote him who wants to be a part
- 48:43Speaker 1: of his family, and they are in the new house. Yeah,
- 48:45Speaker 1: he is in his business section or whatever, So I'm
- 48:48Speaker 1: thinking we'll get to have a glimpse. But I also
- 48:50Speaker 1: think Robin is probably really private of course, doesn't want
- 48:54Speaker 1: us to be taking her inventory, which we absolutely will
- 48:57Speaker 1: be doing because I remember when they put their house
- 49:00Speaker 1: first sale last year. We were all looking at the
- 49:02Speaker 1: pictures and could see all the boxes in the garage
- 49:04Speaker 1: and in the basement. They immediately put all that shit
- 49:07Speaker 1: in storage because they knew we're forensic. In the dumpster,
- 49:11Speaker 1: we have monocles. Yep, we're watching everything you're doing.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Robery's single fucking thing.
- 49:16Speaker 1: So I do hope they show it.
- 49:17Speaker 2: I did like seeing the little clips of them packing
- 49:20Speaker 2: up their various moving trucks with all of their artwork
- 49:24Speaker 2: and assets. I'm like, I want to see how much
- 49:26Speaker 2: you have, They're not going to show it to you.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Well, and I forgot.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Cody mentioned earlier in the episode he wants to sell everything,
- 49:34Speaker 2: And I'm like, are you going to be selling some
- 49:35Speaker 2: of your assets so you have money to pay for
- 49:37Speaker 2: this house? Like just one?
- 49:39Speaker 1: Are you going to be liquidating your assets ahead of
- 49:41Speaker 1: your lawsuit with Christine who is currently suing you for
- 49:46Speaker 1: a rears child support? And I'm sure in doing so,
- 49:49Speaker 1: she's going to want to gather how much it is
- 49:51Speaker 1: you actually own in these assets and how much you're
- 49:53Speaker 1: making every month? And so are you are you spoiling that?
- 49:56Speaker 1: Are you like selling the assets so she can't get
- 49:59Speaker 1: her little hands on it? Like, I don't think the
- 50:00Speaker 1: corn will like that if that's what you're doing. Interesting. Okay,
- 50:05Speaker 1: So I'm shocked we got as much out of this
- 50:08Speaker 1: me Too episode always as we did. But is there
- 50:11Speaker 1: anything else that we need to say to these beautiful
- 50:14Speaker 1: raccoons before we get a bound at a year? Bitch?
