Hello. Welcome to Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. I'm your host, Kara Goodwin, and I'm excited to be here with you. Today is Monday, August 3rd, and I've been away. I've missed a few livestreams. Normally, you can catch my, my lives on Mondays and Fridays. I do my best to do them on Mondays and Fridays. If you're just listening to the audio, those typically get released the next day because I have to go in and add the intro and outro music and do all kinds of different things to get it from YouTube over to the podcasting platforms. But so if you're listening to this, then you get the, um ... If you're listening to it on a
• 1:00
podcast platform, then you're getting it on Tuesdays or Saturdays. But anyway, I did miss a couple of lives because I was on vacation, so I am back and I'm excited to be here. This time I wanna talk about the astral realm. So we... You've maybe have heard over time on your spiritual journey about different dimensions, and there are different spiritual dimensions. We are in the physical dimension. Sorry, I need to go on do not disturb here. We are in the third to fourth dimension. Some people say it's the fourth dimension because not only do we have height, width, depth, you know, like what you consider the 3D. How something when it's 2D and it's flat, you go into 3D and it kinda pops out. You get that depth to it. Um, but we also have time here in this
• 2:00
physical realm, so that some people consider that time makes this actually the fourth dimension, and that humanity is evolving into the fifth dimension, and there are more dimensions beyond that. And so another way to think about this, or another way that it's talked about, is realms, and there is an astral realm, and that is typically invisible to most people, but a lot of people experience it at different points in their lives. So some people can see into the astral realm all the time. I was actually watching a, um, a reel from somebody yesterday who was diagnosed as a schizophrenic, and she was describing the astral realm, basically. I don't think she used that term. And she was talking about seeing her, uh... When she was institutionalized, she
• 3:00
saw her psychiatrist, I guess it would be. Um, like he shape-shifted, and she could see that he looks like a human, but he was a reptilian, and she described what that was like. And as she was talking about- this, like, what she sees, I was like, "Oh, she's seeing the astral realm." Um, there are... The astral realm is, uh, not just one thing. There are lower real- lower parts to the astral realm and higher parts to the astral realm, and then there are things beyond the astral realm. And I'm just gonna share with you my personal experience, because that's what I know to be valid. I can't, um, I can't just... I can't confirm that this is what other people think, but I did talk about this. I don't talk about it that much, but I talked about it a few months ago on a podcast called Boundless Authenticity with
• 4:00
Jahan Sattar. And that was interesting because, again, it ha- it doesn't come up that much, but he knew what I was talking about. So I was like, "Well, I've seen things like this," and, and I was describing it, and I'll tell you what, what I, what I have experienced. And he was like, "I know what you're talking about. I've seen that." And so that was really validating for me. And every once in a while I'll, I'll hear people talk about specific things where I'm like, "Ah, okay, I know what that is." Like, I've seen that and it's, it's validating for me because then it's like, oh, well, it's not just a personal experience. It's not just like in my world it's like this. It's like, oh, other people see it this way too. So the way that I have experienced this is in altered states of consciousness. Um, a lot of times for me that's what... In that time in between when I'm awake and I'm trying to fall asleep, so, um, it's
• 5:00
I'm not asleep yet. Um, I believe that when we are dreaming a lot of that is happening in the astral realm and in other realms too, depending on the soul that is... And, and depending on what they have access to. Um, and then we get this what I call a dream screen on top of the experience. So it's actually real experiences that our consciousness is having. Sometimes those, I think for a lot of people, they're in the astral realm. Um, but then we get this like the... Our brain puts a filter over it to make us be able to kind of make sense of what it is that we're experiencing. So when I've experienced this, um, these states of consciousness, sometimes I just pop through to something that I would consider beyond the astral realm. So the first time that this really happened to me, um,
• 6:00
was in meditation, and it was kind of early on in my meditation journey. I had no concept of what it was that was happening. I was meditating and I started seeing a spiraling galaxy from a distance, and I ha- I didn't know why on earth I would see outer space, why I would see a galaxy. I didn't know anything about, like, star seeds or, um, any kind of galactic alien connection to spirituality. I was following a, um, a yog- more of a yogic meditation path, so it was a very grounded... I mean, it was very spiritual, but it didn't go into things like other dimensions really or star seeds, galactics, anything like that. So I was like, "Why would I see..." And I even asked one of the people that I was learning meditation from, and they didn't have an answer for me. They were basically like, "Just let it go. Don't hang onto it."
• 7:00
Um, and but now I see that pre- I've seen that a lot since then, and sometimes I see it right away. But why I'm sharing this is because sometimes I don't see that right away, but I have to pass through, and it's that pa- I have to pass through other places before I start to see other realms. And one of the first places when that happens, w- the first thing I pass through is the astral realm, and it's very different from seeing, being, like, in space or being in the void or being in, uh, realms of geometry or light, um It's very... So the astral realm, there... First of all, there seems to be a location to it, but it's based on your personal... Well, again, I'm just sharing based on what I've gathered from my experience. So
• 8:00
whether this is technically right or not, or if it's a piece that fits into something bigger, that's not what I'm... I'm not here to give, like, some objective, like, this is what it is for everybody. I'm just put... I've just pieced together my own experience to say, "This is what I, what I experience," and my interpretation of it. But it's like I'll start to, uh, have this shift in consciousness where, uh, one way to understand it is, like, if you right now look at a blank wall or you close your eyes, and if you're looki-... So I'm looking at a gray wall behind me, and I can just look at it on the surface and say, "Oh, it's gray." But if I actually pay attention to what I'm looking at, there are all these little speckles of color, and they're
• 9:00
constantly moving. They're just dancing around. And the same if I close my eyes. I could tell you that it's black because I block out all the physical things that I can see, but really, if I pay attention, it's made up of all these pixels almost. Like, all these dancing colors. Tiny, tiny colors, and they're dancing all around. So hopefully you experience something like that- But what happens, one of the first things that starts to happen when I shift into co- into a different state of consciousness, is that those speckles start to organize. And, and I can start to see things that I couldn't see before. And there... It's like when I'm in the astral, it's very close to me. So location-wise, from a consciousness perspective, maybe I'm... I mean, I'm still in my body, but my awareness is kind of, like, just around my body.
• 10:00
And the quality of the energy is very thick. It's like you can't see it or ta- or touch it, but you almost can. It's just very thick. It's very, um, it's not refined. It's just dense energy. And, and it's so chaotic. This is, like, the m- big, big signature for me of the astral realm, is the chaos. It is so noisy. It is so busy. And a lot of the colors and the, the symbols, the, the things that I'm seeing, they're so much like a carnival and a casino. The colors, the, the... There's, like, checkerboard patterns, but they're, like, red and green or red and black There's even, like, I've seen clowns. Like, and they're... It's not like you just see them, like there's this really calm kind of panning of, like, looking
• 11:00
around. It's like these things come towards you and get really big, and they're like, uh... I've, I've seen aliens. Um, I think this is why... There's a narrative going around that I see from time to time where people talk about aliens being demonic, where they're like, "Aliens really are demons." I don't really agree with that. Um, I feel a deep, loving connection with some galactic beings. But of course, aliens have... There's not just, like, one alien race. There are all kinds of aliens. They have all different kinds of agendas, and they're all in different, um, parts of evolution. But I have seen what you would call typical gray aliens in the astral realm, which makes me think this is why people think that they're demons, because there are just some, like, things that could be really frightening in the astral realm. And it's, again,
• 12:00
like, I've seen, um, reptilians for sure. I've seen... And sometimes it's like, like I was saying how things just come into focus. So it might be really busy and, like, you can't... My brain can't really take in, like, what it is that I'm even seeing, and then it will be, like, this giant eye, uh, with scales around it. And I write about this in my book, Your Authentic Awakening, so you can get more information in there if this is something that you're interested in. But I talk about in that, in my book, about when I see things that are scary, like a reptilian, like these clowns. A lot of people are afraid of clowns, and I feel like clowns that we have here in this realm, in the physical realm, are actually mirrors of that. You know, I feel like first it was these astral things, and then we brought those into this realm. And it's interesting that clowns go with, like, carnival. And, uh, there's a really
• 13:00
strong, in my, my experience with the lower astral realm, very big carnival vibe, very big... It's ju- It's chaos. So that just constant stimulation, uh, noise, chaos that come... You know, think of a carnival. It's, like, high energy, but it's chaos, right? It's just there's so much that's trying to get your attention. Um, so anyway, what I was saying, what I write about in my book is, like, the times that I have seen things that I could decide are scary, I have to... I think it's part of, like, spiritual training, where it's like, well, what is this that I'm looking at? Should I be scared of this? Or is this... Am I just seeing a reptilian, but it's actually, like, my brain interpreting something? And at the end of the day, a lot of the things in the lower astral realm can be very frightening, but we have to decide within
• 14:00
ourselves if we're gonna be frightened, if that's what we're going to bring, if that's the energy we're gonna carry, or if we're gonna be strong and courageous, and that's an individual choice. And so that's a little bit of what I've personally experienced in terms of the lower astral. And now, when I... Again, sometimes I have to go through that to get to other realms, and I wanna talk about the difference between the realms beyond the astral and the astral. So like I said, when, uh, when I'm having to travel, like, when I'm traveling through the realms and I don't just, bang, go out, you know, to space or whatever it is, there's this sense of location where it's like the astral realm is, like, right outside of my body. So if my body is the center point of my
• 15:00
experience of location, it's like the astral realm is right there, and it's very thick. It's very dense. It feels almost like it's physical. So it just feels like it's just one step outside of physicality. But as I continue to progress through the realms- Things thin out. So that heaviness, that density, that packed feeling starts to spread out. But I also feel this sense of going further out beyond my body. So I'm still in my body, but I'm... My awareness is expanding out so that, yes, I'm in my body, but I'm also getting more out here, and beyond, and beyond, and beyond. So it's that... That's why we talk about expansion of consciousness, the ability to expand consciousness. This is a real thing. And as you do it, you are able to perceive more and more,
• 16:00
and different things. Now, as I, as things thin out- It also gets more peaceful. It quiets down. It's not chaotic. It's not so in your face. I don't have beings coming in and, like, coming really up close and, and like it's like a big clown like this that's coming in and going back out. There's none of that. It's... It gets peaceful. It gets... It thins out. It gets... It just gets, like, more, like, um, kind of like wispy almost, but there's like an organization to it also. So it's just like, like things get sharper, um, but you can... It's like you can see through things better, but this organization, I really wanna
• 17:00
emphasize the organization. From an energetic perspective, as you expand out, and we can also think of this as going higher, as you vibrate higher, you access these realms that are of a higher vibration, there is organization. What do I mean by organization? When you think of things energetically, you can think of it like sound. You can think of it like, for me, I see things as geometry. You might see it as, you know, I don't know, other beings or, or however you see it, but it is harmonious. The more you go out, the more harmony. It's like a picture with a cloud. You know? It's like if you've got a filter over your vision, and the, and the cloud is thinning and thinning, and you can see clearer and
• 18:00
sharper and sharper, and things are harmonious. So let's take it in terms of geometry, because geometry is the foundation, I think. Sound is also the vibration of reality. They all go together. Light also. But from a geometric perspective, things get aligned. So if you are watching the video and you can see behind me, the geometry, once you start to get into the higher realms, that sharpens, and all of the facets, all the re- repetition within that geometry- Are the same. They're harmonious. They are aligned. So all of these words that you hear with spiritual development, being in alignment, being in harmony,
• 19:00
being in, you know, the flow all of that goes together because it's like you lock into, you phase into symmetry. And there's th- there's a pattern to it, and it is, it's harmonious. So, um, there's something... Oh, and the other piece that I wanted to go into with this topic is how this affects you in your physical human life. This is why it's so important for you to work on yourself. If you're very, very focused on changing everybody's mind so that they see things the same way as you, you've taken your eye off the ball. Get your focus on yourself. Get yourself aligned with source, with God, with your higher self. The more focus you put on
• 20:00
that, the more your own energy is aligning to those higher realms, and then the astral is not affecting you to the same extent. Because this astral realm, it's not just something for psychics. It's not just something that you only interact with if you can see it. It is always influencing this human realm, and it influences us through chaos, fear, anger, jealousy, all of those lower vibrational states A- give you access to the astral realm, to the lower astral realm. And there are entities there who feed off of human energy. They are feeding, they feed off of what they energetically
• 21:00
get access to. And when you are in those states, you give them food. You give them energetic food. When you come into alignment with Source, with God, with your higher self, with the ascended masters, there's not just one way to think about it, but there will be things that resonate with you and your soul. That helps you to strengthen your energy field. And when your energy field is strengthened, you own it, and it is much more difficult for those lower level entities to influence you And that has such a positive impact on your life. And that's a whole other topic, but, um, and
• 22:00
I, I do wanna wrap this up. But your life will improve so much more, your joy will improve so much more, your... I, I mean, that's what we're here for, is to experience ourselves in a, an aligned way, but here on this planet. And it's accessible to everybody, but you want to be focusing on your own development. And the more that you do that, the more impenetrable, impenetrable, I think that's the right way to say that, your energy field is. So really resist the temptation to be looking outside of yourself and pointing fingers at everybody at what they're doing wrong, because that's pulling you down, and you're missing the opportunity to get into your own alignment. It is a trick that, um, a lot of people with spiritual intentions
• 23:00
get into, where they get so frustrated with the people outside of them. And we have a lot of different perspectives right now. We have a lot of different realities. But it's a fool's errand to think that you're gonna change everybody's mind, and then that's gonna make your reality better. That comes from you. So sharpen your own energy skills. Only you can do that. You can pray for other people. That's great. Pray for other people. I mean, I pray for people every day, but not for them to bend to my will. So it's really down to you improving your energy field so that you are not under the influence of the lower astral realm. And that's also gonna help everybody else as a byproduct. So you carry people along with you as you do that, but as a
• 24:00
byproduct. I hope that makes sense. Um, that's what I wanted to share today about the astral realm. I wanted to also let you know that I'm gonna be doing a summit. I'm part of a summit called How Art Heals. I'm gonna be talking about sacred geometry. Um, I've got the link in the notes for you to register, register. That's a free event. It's gonna be happening, I think it was August 17th through the 20th, um, if I'm not mistaken. But there are some amazing, um, practitioners who are gonna be talking about different aspects of art and how that heals. So I hope that you'll be there, and I wish you a beautiful, beautiful week ahead. Thank you so much for tuning in. Bless you. Speaker 2: Thank you so much for joining me for this episode of Soul Elevation. If someone in your life would be inspired or uplifted by what you heard today, please take a moment to share it with them. These are the kind of conversations that
