As America Turns 250, WHY do Democrats now HATE Everything we Stand For · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

• 0:01
Speaker 1: We've got a chart of how quickly the prices went
• 0:04
Speaker 1: up and how they followed crude, and we're going to
• 0:06
Speaker 1: hold them accountable. On the other side, President Trump talked
• 0:09
Speaker 1: about it the past week. Eve had a very powerful
• 0:12
Speaker 1: truth social yesterday. So I would encourage all the gasoline retailers.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: Some of them are owned by big oil, some are independent,
• 0:20
Speaker 1: some are international convenience changs. I would encourage them to
• 0:24
Speaker 1: be good actors, especially in the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, because.
• 0:27
Speaker 2: We're watching you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update
• 0:30
  Speaker 2: with Ben ferguson.
• 0:31
Speaker 3: Good Friday morning. It's so nice to have you with
• 0:33
Speaker 3: us on the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got
• 0:35
Speaker 3: one big story for you. As we celebrate America's two
• 0:39
Speaker 3: hundred and fiftieth birthday. There are many on the left
• 0:42
Speaker 3: and many liberals that are advocates for destroying this country.
• 0:47
Speaker 3: So why is it they just can't celebrate how amazing
• 0:50
Speaker 3: America is. We're going to dive into that before we
• 0:53
Speaker 3: get to that, though, As America celebrates this two hundred
• 0:56
Speaker 3: and fiftieth anniversary, there is a milestone that is happening
• 0:59
Speaker 3: right now now. And not only is it a time
• 1:01
Speaker 3: to reflect on the enduring relationship that we have with
• 1:05
Speaker 3: the US and Israel. It's our greatest ally now. President
• 1:09
Speaker 3: John F. Kennedy once said, Israel was not created in
• 1:12
Speaker 3: order to disappear. Israel will endure and flourish. Those words
• 1:17
Speaker 3: capture the spirit of a young democracy determined to survive
• 1:22
Speaker 3: two nations literally thousands of miles apart, yet united by
• 1:26
Speaker 3: shared values of democracy, faith, freedom, and resilience. So as
• 1:31
Speaker 3: America celebrates two hundred fifty years of independence the International
• 1:35
Speaker 3: Fellowship of Christians and Jews, they turn to God in
• 1:38
Speaker 3: prayer and asking that is wisdom will guide elected officials
• 1:42
Speaker 3: and lead America and Israel to moral clarity and national unity.
• 1:47
Speaker 3: That is something that's amazing. And I want to give
• 1:50
Speaker 3: you something right now for free, to celebrate all of this,
• 1:53
Speaker 3: I want you to receive a free USA Israel flagpen.
• 1:58
Speaker 3: I wear it every day when I'm on TV. And
• 2:00
Speaker 3: you can get the same pin that I wear by
• 2:02
Speaker 3: going online to FLAGPENIFCJ dot org. That's flagpen if CJ
• 2:11
Speaker 3: dot org, flagpen ifcj dot org and get your free
• 2:16
Speaker 3: US Israeli pin right now. It's the forty seven Morning
• 2:20
Speaker 3: Update and it starts right now.
• 2:22
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:23
Speaker 3: Senator, I want to spend a moment and talk about
• 2:26
Speaker 3: how there are two ways that we can go as
• 2:29
Speaker 3: a country moving forward. We can either continue to be
• 2:32
Speaker 3: proud of this country, continue to grow, continue to learn
• 2:35
Speaker 3: by the way from mistakes that we've made, to become
• 2:38
Speaker 3: an even better country than we are right now. Or
• 2:41
Speaker 3: we can take the other road. And that other road
• 2:43
Speaker 3: actually seems to be pretty darn clear. It is the
• 2:47
Speaker 3: Democratic model to be ashamed of this country and to
• 2:50
Speaker 3: fundamentally want to destroy it from within. We are witnessing
• 2:53
Speaker 3: and watching candidates across the country running and winning on
• 2:56
Speaker 3: this platform that is obviously very very concerning. I want
• 3:01
Speaker 3: to get your reaction to where we are now, two
• 3:04
Speaker 3: hundred and fifty years.
• 3:04
Speaker 4: In well, I want to do something that may surprise you.
• 3:08
Speaker 4: I want to speak directly to Democrats. Now, I recognize
• 3:13
Speaker 4: they're probably not a ton of Democrats that are listeners
• 3:16
  Speaker 4: to this podcast.
• 3:17
  Speaker 5: I hope there's some.
• 3:18
Speaker 4: And actually, when I talk to young people, when I
• 3:20
Speaker 4: talk to college kids, when I talk to high school kids,
• 3:22
Speaker 4: I encourage them. Wherever you are in the political spectrum,
• 3:27
Speaker 4: try to listen to both sides and pick a podcast
• 3:30
Speaker 4: or two on the left, a podcast or two on
• 3:32
Speaker 4: the right. Obviously, I suggest this one on the right
• 3:34
Speaker 4: is one to listen to, but assess so. And by
• 3:36
Speaker 4: the way, there are also a ton of reporters that
• 3:38
Speaker 4: listen to this podcast. It's one of the interesting and
• 3:41
Speaker 4: really powerful things this pod does is we drive news.
• 3:44
Speaker 4: So there are a ton of reporters, and almost all
• 3:46
Speaker 4: reporters are politically left. So if you're left of center,
• 3:49
  Speaker 4: if you're a Democrat, I want to give a message
• 3:52
Speaker 4: to you on our nation's two hundred and fiftieth birthday.
• 3:56
Speaker 4: Do not let the Democrat Party be conquered and colonized
• 4:04
Speaker 4: by socialists and communists. And I say that with all sincerity.
• 4:09
  Speaker 5: Listen.
• 4:09
Speaker 4: I disagree with Democrats. I disagree with Democrats on a
• 4:12
Speaker 4: lot of issues. I spent fourteen years in the Senate battling.
• 4:15
Speaker 4: Now by the way, I don't treat my Democrat colleagues
• 4:19
  Speaker 4: with contempt. I don't treat them meanly. I don't insult
• 4:22
Speaker 4: them personally. Where we find common ground, we work together.
• 4:26
Speaker 4: Where we disagree, I try to engage on substance, but
• 4:30
Speaker 4: I treat them with respect. And I want every Democrat
• 4:34
Speaker 4: within the sound of my voice to listen. You are
• 4:38
Speaker 4: facing a hostile takeover of your party. The socialists who
• 4:45
Speaker 4: are winning primaries in New York, they're winning primaries in Colorado.
• 4:50
Speaker 4: They are not Democrats. They are and understand, Socialist is
• 4:55
Speaker 4: the sort of nice suite, moogenized term for what they
• 5:02
Speaker 4: in fact are, which is America hating communists. Listen, communism,
• 5:08
Speaker 4: the economic system of communism is socialism. Anyone who calls
• 5:13
Speaker 4: themselves a democrat democratic socialist today is in fact a communist.
• 5:18
Speaker 4: And many of the DSA leaders you can find lots
• 5:22
Speaker 4: of videos of them saying, look, our goal is communism, communism.
• 5:26
Speaker 4: I speak from personal experience. My family was imprisoned and
• 5:32
Speaker 4: tortured and nearly killed by communists in Cuba. Communism has
• 5:37
Speaker 4: brought misery across the globe. It has brought misery. It
• 5:41
Speaker 4: has killed over one hundred million people between Russia, between China,
• 5:46
Speaker 4: between Vietnam, but between Cambodia, between Venezuela, between North Korea
• 5:51
  Speaker 4: between Cuba.
• 5:52
Speaker 5: Communism has been It's not an accident.
• 5:55
Speaker 4: Every nation that has imposed communism has results in massive
• 6:00
Speaker 4: human rights violation, murder and torture, and oppression. When the
• 6:04
Speaker 4: government has all power, your rights go away, because communism
• 6:10
Speaker 4: is based on the inverse of the premiss America was
• 6:14
Speaker 4: based on. Communism is based on the premise that government
• 6:17
Speaker 4: has the power, ostensibly in an egalitarian purpose to empower
• 6:24
Speaker 4: the proletariat. But every single instance, not most, not a lot,
• 6:29
Speaker 4: all of them, communism results in massive oppression and suffering
• 6:34
Speaker 4: and misery and poverty and death. And so I want
• 6:39
Speaker 4: to say to Democrats, look, I look at my Democrat
• 6:43
Speaker 4: colleagues in the Senate. Most of them are not, in
• 6:48
Speaker 4: fact socialist or communists. They're just scared. They're looking at
• 6:52
Speaker 4: their party. And by the way, if you're not a
• 6:54
Speaker 4: socialist or communist and you're a Democrat, you're getting primary
• 6:57
Speaker 4: right down beaten. And they're like, Okay, I don't want
• 7:00
Speaker 4: to get beaten. So I'm just going to stay quiet,
• 7:02
Speaker 4: and I'm going to give the radical left what they want,
• 7:07
Speaker 4: and I'm going to make a plea fight to take
• 7:10
Speaker 4: your party back. I don't want you to become Republicans. Well,
• 7:14
Speaker 4: yes I do, but I'd settle for just a rational
• 7:19
Speaker 4: Democrat party. Like, if you think the top marginal tax
• 7:23
Speaker 4: rate ought to be ten percent higher than it is,
• 7:26
Speaker 4: I disagree with you on that. But we can have
• 7:28
Speaker 4: a conversation. If you want more government regulation, I want less. Okay,
• 7:33
Speaker 4: we can have a rational conversation about that. But if
• 7:36
Speaker 4: you look at the communists who are winning primaries right now,
• 7:41
Speaker 4: they're openly calling for abolishing the police. They're openly calling
• 7:45
Speaker 4: for abolishing borders, they're openly calling for abolishing prisons. Let
• 7:49
Speaker 4: me ask you something. If you shut down mon Dommie
• 7:52
Speaker 4: said this week he's going to shut down Rikers Island.
• 7:55
Speaker 4: What do you think happens to this country if we
• 7:58
Speaker 4: release all the murder.
• 8:00
Speaker 5: All the rapist, all the child blesters.
• 8:03
Speaker 4: For the Democrat Party, I think you're facing an existential
• 8:07
Speaker 4: challenge in your party, and if your party becomes a
• 8:11
Speaker 4: socialist and communist party, it will hurt America. By the way,
• 8:14
Speaker 4: I want to say two other things, and then I
• 8:16
Speaker 4: want you to comment on it. Number one, there's some
• 8:18
Speaker 4: Republicans who are sort of quietly celebrating, saying, okay, Democrats
• 8:22
  Speaker 4: have gone crazy.
• 8:24
Speaker 5: That means Republicans are gonna win. And that may be right.
• 8:27
Speaker 4: It may be that we can go campaign and say
• 8:29
Speaker 4: these people are really out there and don't vote for them.
• 8:34
Speaker 4: I don't want that outcome as much as I'd like
• 8:37
Speaker 4: Republicans to win. If one of our two major parties
• 8:42
  Speaker 4: becomes absolutely insane.
• 8:45
Speaker 5: That's bad for America.
• 8:47
Speaker 4: I'd rather we debate within the forty yard lines instead
• 8:51
Speaker 4: of going crazy one way. And so there is a
• 8:57
Speaker 4: real fight. And secondly, there may be some Democrats listening,
• 9:01
Speaker 4: or even some reporters listening, who say, look, that's easy
• 9:05
Speaker 4: for you to say you want us to take on
• 9:06
Speaker 4: these people, but if we do that, we'll be thrying
• 9:10
Speaker 4: out all office, we'll lose a primary. And I want
• 9:13
Speaker 4: to point out I'm engaged in this same fight in
• 9:16
Speaker 4: the Republican side right now, the woke right that is
• 9:20
Speaker 4: trying to destroy the Republican Party, that is trying to
• 9:23
Speaker 4: turn us into a big government, left wing party, that
• 9:26
Speaker 4: is trying to turn us into an isolationist party, an
• 9:29
Speaker 4: Israel hating party, an America hating party. I am fighting
• 9:34
Speaker 4: the Tucker Carlson's and all of his acolytes in my
• 9:37
Speaker 4: party and at not inconsiderable personal and political risk. And
• 9:42
Speaker 4: so I want to call out to Democrats on this
• 9:45
Speaker 4: nation's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, is there anyone who
• 9:49
Speaker 4: will stand up and say, damn it, I will lose,
• 9:52
Speaker 4: I will be voted out of office rather than lose
• 9:55
Speaker 4: my party and lose my country. This may surprise you.
• 9:59
Speaker 4: Look for those of y'all that are regular Verdict listeners,
• 10:03
Speaker 4: you probably did not anticipate my making a flead Democrats,
• 10:07
Speaker 4: particularly our nation's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. But I
• 10:11
Speaker 4: pray that there are some Democrats who like JFK and FDR,
• 10:16
Speaker 4: love America and are willing to say I'm not going
• 10:20
Speaker 4: to roll over and see our nation destroyed. I want
• 10:23
Speaker 4: us to have a three hundreds and of four hundredth
• 10:25
  Speaker 4: and five anniversary.
