- 0:09Speaker 1: Vibe. It's time he and Leve. Hello, Welcome to the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Naughty Venice Show. I'm your host, Rab Shooter, and it's Monday,
- 0:19Speaker 1: which means our dear friend, Garrett Bogeal joins us, you
- 0:22Speaker 1: look good today, My friend, it's because we've started to
- 0:24Speaker 1: video a few of these. Is that why? Yes, I've
- 0:26Speaker 1: started to wear a jump or a shirt a sweater. Normally,
- 0:30Speaker 1: when I do these in the mornings with you, Garrett,
- 0:32Speaker 1: we do them quite early. I've rolled out of bed
- 0:34Speaker 1: and I'm still in my tank top and pajamas. That's right.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I always forget you are in an office right now.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Hello to everybody at Z one hundred who are listening
- 0:42Speaker 1: to your show. Behind you, let's jump into ads. What
- 0:44Speaker 1: time is it, my friends? It is to any time.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Big story at the top of the show. This is
- 0:48Speaker 1: a big story. So Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's marriage
- 0:51Speaker 1: is under strain. I think we can all agree that
- 0:54Speaker 1: is probably something we should all expect. They are going
- 0:57Speaker 1: through an enormous amount of pressure. Think about it in
- 1:00Speaker 1: your life, you and your partner. If you're in any
- 1:03Speaker 1: legal dispute, I hope it never happens, but if you're
- 1:06Speaker 1: ever in a legal dispute. It's really stressful. Goodness knows,
- 1:09Speaker 1: me and Bruce can fall out if we run out
- 1:11Speaker 1: of corn flakes. Like it's just so easy to get
- 1:14Speaker 1: very very stressed. This is real. This legal drama is big.
- 1:18Speaker 1: It's four hundred millions. It could wipe them out out completely. Well.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Sources are telling me they are doing everything to keep
- 1:24Speaker 1: up appearances. We've spotted them out over the weekend kissing,
- 1:27Speaker 1: looking pretty happy. But behind the scenes, when the cameras
- 1:32Speaker 1: are not rolling, when they're not in public, sources tell
- 1:35Speaker 1: me they're a little quieter, they're a little bit concerned.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I had some sources at the time, one hundred events,
- 1:41Speaker 1: several reporters there, several friends were in the audience, and
- 1:44Speaker 1: they said they put on a great show on the
- 1:46Speaker 1: red carpet, only for a few moments though. They arrived
- 1:49Speaker 1: last just before the event started, and they did no interviews.
- 1:53Speaker 1: They just walked in. You've done these carpets a million times, garrets,
- 1:56Speaker 1: they walk in, they don't talk to any of the
- 1:58Speaker 1: TV crews, They just stop and take photos and then
- 2:00Speaker 1: they went inside. So makes a little off here. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: don't want to over sell this. I don't want to
- 2:05Speaker 1: say they're breaking up, because I don't think that's the case.
- 2:08Speaker 1: But I do totally believe, and the people that I've
- 2:11Speaker 1: spoken to are really good sources. They say it's a
- 2:13Speaker 1: lot of pressure and that they're starting to feel it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: This is not fun. But what do you think?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Is the only question Ryan and Blake would get asked
- 2:24Speaker 2: if they were to stop and do interviews.
- 2:26Speaker 1: If they stopped, I would ask them, what is going on?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Are you going to settle this?
- 2:30Speaker 2: But that's what I'm saying, Like so that like if
- 2:33Speaker 2: you're you're at the time one hundred event where you're
- 2:37Speaker 2: being honored, and the one question you will get nothing
- 2:41Speaker 2: about being honored, just you know, so four hundred million dollars,
- 2:44Speaker 2: how does that make you feel? Four hundred million? Like
- 2:47Speaker 2: just get repetitive. It wouldn't do any good to get
- 2:50Speaker 2: out there and just answer the same question over and
- 2:53Speaker 2: over and over again.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I think that when we've done these junk kits, we've
- 2:57Speaker 1: both done them. Celebrities often say the same thing over
- 3:00Speaker 1: and over, which normally is my movie is great, my
- 3:02Speaker 1: album is great. There's nothing that they can do professionally
- 3:05Speaker 1: at the moment that can rival this story of this
- 3:08Speaker 1: of this legal drama that is the story. So the
- 3:11Speaker 1: question I would ask them is, if you're going to
- 3:13Speaker 1: go and not talk about it, that's actually saying a lot.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Is it better to just not go? And I think
- 3:18Speaker 1: at the moment I might have pulled back. I know
- 3:20Speaker 1: it's a huge honor. I know it's a big deal,
- 3:23Speaker 1: but it's like if I've been naughty, Garrett, and I
- 3:25Speaker 1: am naughty and a lot sometimes your name. Sometimes I
- 3:31Speaker 1: don't turn up. Like so, if I'm invited to an
- 3:33Speaker 1: event where I know I'm going to get shouted at,
- 3:36Speaker 1: say the Housewives are thrown a party, I know if
- 3:38Speaker 1: I walk into that party, I might not be exactly
- 3:42Speaker 1: welcomed like you, Garrett, and so I might not go.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So I do think here in your own life, think
- 3:47Speaker 1: about it when you've upset a friend and aunt a
- 3:50Speaker 1: cousin and there's a big family party. Maybe we'll skip
- 3:53Speaker 1: this one, honey.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Well, you know what. The other thing too, is very interesting.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Brian has just picked up the mileage from flying from
- 4:02Speaker 2: from New York to uh to Wrexham. Over the last
- 4:06Speaker 2: his football club, the soccer team won the championship over
- 4:09Speaker 2: the weekend, so he was in New York city for
- 4:12Speaker 2: the time one hundred. Let's let's just put this out
- 4:14Speaker 2: time one hundred. New York City was like what Wednesday Thursday?
- 4:18Speaker 2: Wednesday Thursday game was on Saturday, so we flew to
- 4:23Speaker 2: Wrexham and then last night in New York City, Blake
- 4:26Speaker 2: had her movie premiere for a simple Favor That's coming
- 4:29Speaker 2: out with Anna Kendrick. He was back so the man
- 4:33Speaker 2: so so yeah. It might be strained behind the scenes,
- 4:36Speaker 2: but on front, he gets full ready from God. From
- 4:40Speaker 2: flying from coast from coast to coast, country to country,
- 4:45Speaker 2: it's just just just to be there for support, you know.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I think if any couple can survive this, I think
- 4:50Speaker 1: it's them. But I do think this is really interesting
- 4:53Speaker 1: that the images you're going to see today from the
- 4:55Speaker 1: premiere last night. I was looking at them this morning
- 4:57Speaker 1: from from my news team. Gosh, the beautiful. They look
- 5:00Speaker 1: so great. Nobody does a red carpet like these two.
- 5:02Speaker 1: No couple does a red carpet individually. There might be
- 5:05Speaker 1: people j Lo's and Beyonces that do it as well,
- 5:08Speaker 1: but I think as a couple, I can't think of
- 5:10Speaker 1: anybody more stunning than these two. And I think it's
- 5:12Speaker 1: smart to go together because it's a very united front.
- 5:15Speaker 1: They also brought her mommy to Time one hundred and
- 5:18Speaker 1: I thought that was genius, because you gotta be I
- 5:21Speaker 1: was a little bit more careful with her parent's arid
- 5:23Speaker 1: like I can't ask you about your sex life. I
- 5:25Speaker 1: can't ask you about like questions that are really cheeky
- 5:28Speaker 1: if you're standing next to your mom.
- 5:30Speaker 2: But you know, what was interesting too about bringing her mom,
- 5:33Speaker 2: which kind of like almost was like a chess move
- 5:35Speaker 2: in the in the game of chess between Blake Lively
- 5:39Speaker 2: and Justin Baldoni, was the fact that she Blake Lively,
- 5:43Speaker 2: spoke out about her mom's abuse that she got growing up,
- 5:46Speaker 2: and she she Blake as she said, Blake's mom taught
- 5:50Speaker 2: her to speak out against that and it was almost
- 5:54Speaker 2: a powerful but also again like almost a checkmate, you know, like.
- 6:00Speaker 1: That's that's so clever, Garrett. That's exactly what it is,
- 6:02Speaker 1: which is why this story adds up. Everything's a chess mood.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Can you imagine having to think this through. It's hard
- 6:11Speaker 1: enough for me to decide what to get for bread.
- 6:13Speaker 2: You used to have to do, right, yeah, now to.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Think, Yeah, I used to in my pid's and one
- 6:17Speaker 1: of the reasons I stopped doing it. It was just
- 6:19Speaker 1: exhausting and it was never ending, and I couldn't imagine.
- 6:21Speaker 1: It wasn't my life, it was their lives, it was
- 6:24Speaker 1: it was other people, celebrities. I just I didn't want
- 6:27Speaker 1: to be part of this constant chess game. That's the
- 6:31Speaker 1: way to put it, Garret, You've really given me clarity today.
- 6:34Speaker 1: It's a chess game, and they play it really well,
- 6:37Speaker 1: but they have to plan this after that event. They
- 6:39Speaker 1: get home, they take off all their fabulous clothes and
- 6:41Speaker 1: their makeup, Ryan too, and then they sit down on
- 6:44Speaker 1: the couch and probably ordering Chinese and decide what are
- 6:46Speaker 1: we going to do next? And I'm like, can we
- 6:48Speaker 1: just watch survivor can I just not? Can we just?
- 6:52Speaker 1: I think, Garrett, you and I dare I say, would
- 6:55Speaker 1: be more, would be further ahead in our profession, all creas.
- 7:01Speaker 1: If we only focused on acreas and we don't, We'll
- 7:04Speaker 1: have families and we have lives outside of this, and
- 7:06Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for that. But yeah, my clients that
- 7:11Speaker 1: were that are the most famous, the most famous people
- 7:14Speaker 1: I know. Few friends I have who are pretty famous.
- 7:18Speaker 1: All they think about is themselves. They really do. They don't.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Even when we're at dinner, they never ask me a
- 7:24Speaker 1: question about myself, Rob if I did this or this,
- 7:27Speaker 1: do you think it would help this or that? Me
- 7:29Speaker 1: me me, me, me me, Which brings us to our
- 7:31Speaker 1: whole question of the day. Ryan Reynolds and Blake's Lively
- 7:36Speaker 1: as marriages under tremendous strain. Will they survive this? It's
- 7:41Speaker 1: an important question? Will they survive it? Hey? Go vote
- 7:44Speaker 1: on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob. Our facebook
- 7:46Speaker 1: page is Naught of your Zip, and be sure to
- 7:48Speaker 1: check back Tom Raw to hear your results. Hey Garrett,
- 7:51Speaker 1: what are you working on?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Are you ready for probably the next installment of a
- 7:56Speaker 2: Netflix series or all binge? Because it's bound to happen.
- 8:00Speaker 2: So remember Kim Kardashian a few years ago, she was
- 8:03Speaker 2: overseas in Paris.
- 8:04Speaker 1: She got robbed.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Kanye was here in New York, rushed over off to
- 8:08Speaker 2: go save try to save her in Paris, and we
- 8:11Speaker 2: found out that her hotel room was robbed, jewelry was taken,
- 8:16Speaker 2: and it was just this week was supposed to be
- 8:20Speaker 2: the week where these guys were going to be sentenced
- 8:22Speaker 2: and put on stand and find how much time they
- 8:25Speaker 2: would be doing in jail. Here's the thing. The main
- 8:28Speaker 2: suspect turned up dead rob like, and there are many
- 8:35Speaker 2: speculations of why he passed away, one being you know,
- 8:41Speaker 2: Tony soprano esque, if you know what I mean, And
- 8:45Speaker 2: and it just it just the one thing that stinks
- 8:48Speaker 2: is there won't be closure for Kim Kardashian in the
- 8:52Speaker 2: sense as much as you want to give Kim Kardashian,
- 8:55Speaker 2: you know, just like, oh, she's doing it for the press.
- 8:58Speaker 2: She went through something terrifying.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And she was there, she was in the room, she
- 9:02Speaker 1: was tied up like she this was terrifying. She's begging
- 9:05Speaker 1: for her life, telling these people I have children. Yeah.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And the fact that she will not get any type
- 9:11Speaker 2: of closure of to why it happened, why they pay,
- 9:15Speaker 2: like there's going to be left of nothing but wise
- 9:18Speaker 2: left for answer because this guy who was going to
- 9:22Speaker 2: answer those questions is dead gone.
- 9:26Speaker 1: This is when conspiracy theories started, maybe for good reason
- 9:31Speaker 1: here that it really is a coincidence, maybe maybe more
- 9:35Speaker 1: than that. I do like the line. We hit the
- 9:37Speaker 1: phones and we spoke to our Kardashian sources, who we
- 9:39Speaker 1: have great Kardashian sources, and they said Kim has been
- 9:41Speaker 1: robbed again in this time of the truth. She's never
- 9:44Speaker 1: actually going to find out now why what happened or
- 9:47Speaker 1: was anybody else involved. Was somebody tipping them off from
- 9:50Speaker 1: inside her own staff, from inside her own company, and
- 9:54Speaker 1: so there's so many questions that she nearly got the
- 9:57Speaker 1: answer to. This coming week. She was prepared to fly
- 10:01Speaker 1: to Paris, I'm told on Tuesday to testify. She was
- 10:04Speaker 1: going to be there and face these men, face these
- 10:08Speaker 1: people who did this to her. And once again, it
- 10:11Speaker 1: wasn't just that she was robbed, she was tied up.
- 10:15Speaker 1: She was in the residence begging for her life. The
- 10:19Speaker 1: Kardashians overshare a lot of stuff. This is one of
- 10:23Speaker 1: the few things where they've held back. I'm told what
- 10:26Speaker 1: happened in that room was more horrifying than Kim ever
- 10:28Speaker 1: wants to really have. But she's brave enough to go
- 10:31Speaker 1: back to Paris and relive it, and now it's been
- 10:35Speaker 1: taken away from her, has Sau said. The following gets terrifying.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Kim's worst fears is that somebody else, someone else, something bigger,
- 10:44Speaker 1: someone was pulling the strings and that person might now
- 10:49Speaker 1: walk free. Terrifying. Okay, moving along, next week. It's the
- 10:54Speaker 1: big Meta gala, the Anna Winter Thing. Have you ever
- 10:59Speaker 1: been to one of these?
- 10:59Speaker 2: Get no, I'm I'm only allowed across the street.
- 11:05Speaker 1: You've been on the got it, You've been across the street.
- 11:07Speaker 1: We can scream and shout and ask question. I've been twice.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I've been lucky enough to go twice. And they're really fabulous.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It's so over the top, it's it's kind of like
- 11:16Speaker 1: a dream. It's also everywhere you look at the celebrity.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I was lucky enough to go one here with Kate Spade.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I used to work for Kate Spade. May she rest
- 11:23Speaker 1: in peace. I love you, Katie. And also I went
- 11:25Speaker 1: with jaalo One you. I went with Jennifer lo You
- 11:27Speaker 1: worked for Kate's Spade. I did as Kate's publicist. I
- 11:29Speaker 1: loved her. Wow, I have all my clients. You've heard
- 11:32Speaker 1: of Jayla, You've heard me talk about Jessica Simpson. You've
- 11:34Speaker 1: heard God Forbid Diddy, You've heard Alicia Keys, Bun Bung Jover,
- 11:38Speaker 1: You've heard them all. My favorite was Kate.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Now I have to Now I have to go and
- 11:43Speaker 2: look at the the just the catalog of Kate Spade
- 11:46Speaker 2: to see what might she have been inspired by you?
- 11:50Speaker 1: You know what I mean? She wasn't. Let me let
- 11:52Speaker 1: me let me send you a lot of time. Let
- 11:54Speaker 1: me tell you a lot of time. I was inspired
- 11:55Speaker 1: by her. She had a lot of tastes. Rest in peace.
- 11:58Speaker 1: So the met is coming up, and guess who wants
- 12:03Speaker 1: to go? They want to go every year. It kind
- 12:05Speaker 1: of breaks my heart. The real housewives have never been
- 12:09Speaker 1: allowed to go to the ball Cinderella. This year they
- 12:13Speaker 1: tried again, they were told no. Now let me explain
- 12:15Speaker 1: how this works. Every single seat is bought and paid
- 12:18Speaker 1: for by a designer or a brand. So when I
- 12:21Speaker 1: went with j Lo, Dolcy and Gabanna bought a table
- 12:24Speaker 1: for ten and I was Jennifer's deck at that table
- 12:27Speaker 1: pocket change. I think it's one hundred thousand dollars a table.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Kate Spade bought a table for ten people and invited
- 12:33Speaker 1: nine plus her ten her friends. So the housewives are
- 12:38Speaker 1: going about this the wrong way. Anna Winter at Vogue
- 12:40Speaker 1: is not going to give them a free ticket because
- 12:42Speaker 1: she doesn't really have any chees a few, but she's
- 12:44Speaker 1: not given them to their housewives. So the way that
- 12:46Speaker 1: they can be invited is to get a designer to
- 12:49Speaker 1: invite them. The problem is the designers know that Anna
- 12:52Speaker 1: doesn't really like them, and so they don't want somebody
- 12:55Speaker 1: at their table who will offend Anna. They want to
- 12:58Speaker 1: get I think this is a case Garraton happened to
- 13:00Speaker 1: me more times than not. I want to be invited
- 13:04Speaker 1: to places that don't want me. Would you say no
- 13:07Speaker 1: that I really really want to get?
- 13:10Speaker 2: Right? And you know what's interesting too, I have a
- 13:12Speaker 2: few It's almost karma because you know, these housewives were
- 13:15Speaker 2: very popular, probably in school to some degree, you know where,
- 13:19Speaker 2: from Queen's at Best, you know, and now the fact
- 13:23Speaker 2: that they cannot get in, it's it's almost like a aha, see,
- 13:26Speaker 2: you know, you get what you get, you know, karma.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Karma is a bee uh you know, it's I hate
- 13:33Speaker 2: that people feel upset that they're getting but I kind
- 13:37Speaker 2: of enjoy the fact that they're not allowed in.
- 13:39Speaker 1: You know, who are we going to see at the
- 13:41Speaker 1: top of the copet screaming Teresa flipping tables. Who's going
- 13:43Speaker 1: to cause a sea to Countess Lamane. Something's going to
- 13:46Speaker 1: be dramatic. Cattus Lavan. Okay, quickly, before we get a break.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Travis is Travis Kelcey knows that he's over exposed. We
- 13:53Speaker 1: spotted him over the weekend, but he was much more reserved.
- 13:56Speaker 1: He was much more low key. What's going on.
- 13:58Speaker 2: It's the first time since the Super Bowl loss that
- 14:01Speaker 2: we actually see have seen Travis outside of his podcast.
- 14:05Speaker 2: But normally, you know, up and up during the football season,
- 14:08Speaker 2: we would see him out with Taylor. Uh, you know
- 14:11Speaker 2: in commercials, if you've noticed, those kind of have kind
- 14:15Speaker 2: of just you know, gone away a little bit. Not
- 14:18Speaker 2: that not not that he stopped doing commercials, they just
- 14:21Speaker 2: they haven't been as much. But he was out for
- 14:24Speaker 2: justin Timberlake's golf tournament out in Las Vegas, and everybody think,
- 14:28Speaker 2: oh Vegas, Travis Kelsey. I think he's playing low key.
- 14:32Speaker 2: He's with his brother, he's with a bunch of celebrities.
- 14:34Speaker 2: But he's also smart because you know, if we've noticed,
- 14:39Speaker 2: Taylor Swift is not out there as much either. And
- 14:41Speaker 2: I think he's taking a page right out of his
- 14:43Speaker 2: girlfriend's playbook of just staying back, only only put putting
- 14:48Speaker 2: yourself out there when need be, when you want to be,
- 14:51Speaker 2: and uh, you know, for the most part, just stay
- 14:53Speaker 2: back and let people talk about you and want you
- 14:55Speaker 2: and like, hey, where where's Travis? And then he pops
- 14:59Speaker 2: he pops up over the weekend. We're like, oh, we frown.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really smart and noticed Taylor was not with
- 15:06Speaker 1: him if she had turned up this our boys weekend. Acay,
- 15:11Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:13Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Your host from Shooter with their different Garrett four called
- 15:19Speaker 1: Hate Garrett. Let's get to the polls. Last year we
- 15:23Speaker 1: talked about Meghan mockal Is saying she's the happiest she's
- 15:26Speaker 1: ever been. What a beautiful thing to say. I want
- 15:28Speaker 1: to say that today about myself. I'm the happiest that
- 15:30Speaker 1: I've ever been. Be happy today. Don't wait for something
- 15:34Speaker 1: to make you happy, choose happiness right now. Our question
- 15:38Speaker 1: for you is are you happy for her? Are you
- 15:41Speaker 1: happy that Meghan is happy? I know we have on
- 15:47Speaker 1: this show in general, Meghan gets a lot a lot
- 15:50Speaker 1: of hate, but even people that you don't really like,
- 15:54Speaker 1: the celebrities out there I don't really like, but I
- 15:56Speaker 1: don't want them to be miserable. I'm fine with them
- 15:58Speaker 1: being happy. So are you happy for her? Police Naughties
- 16:01Speaker 1: come through. I don't want to look at her, said, yes,
- 16:05Speaker 1: with the nicest show, with the nicest show having a
- 16:08Speaker 1: good week too. Naughty are happy she is happy Monday.
- 16:13Speaker 2: I'm sure they would be.
- 16:14Speaker 1: She's not your coop of tea. Okay, don't forget to
- 16:17Speaker 1: vote on today's Paul. Go to our Twitter page at
- 16:19Speaker 1: Naughty Nightser of our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and
- 16:24Speaker 1: be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:28Speaker 1: And now it's for the nicest of the day.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yes. So over the weekend, Gigi had died, which you know,
- 16:36Speaker 2: if you were to look at Gigi hadid then you
- 16:38Speaker 2: see her from time to time out and about Bradley
- 16:40Speaker 2: Cooper hanging out with Taylor Swift, you would think, oh, wow,
- 16:43Speaker 2: she's got to be what, you know, mid thirties. You know,
- 16:46Speaker 2: she's only thirty. She just turned thirty.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Rob Well.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Over the weekend, Bradley Cooper through a big, big birthday
- 16:51Speaker 2: bash for her. But everybody's talking about a gold ring
- 16:55Speaker 2: that she was wearing on the finger where you know,
- 16:58Speaker 2: kind of says hey, I'm engaged that finger. Yes it
- 17:02Speaker 2: is that finger. You know, it's a very meaningful piece
- 17:05Speaker 2: of jewelry that she was wearing.
- 17:06Speaker 1: But we can.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Confirm it is not an engagement ring. When one source
- 17:12Speaker 2: close to the family said, you know, Bradley's been planning
- 17:16Speaker 2: to propose, but not yet, or maybe he did, and
- 17:20Speaker 2: this is just like a this is just trying to
- 17:22Speaker 2: pull one over on us. Who knows. But but yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 2: so everyone thinks it's coming soon, you know, just like
- 17:28Speaker 2: the Travis Taylor engagement too. Maybe they're all getting engaged
- 17:31Speaker 2: at once, you know.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Maybe they're friends. They look great together. And I sis
- 17:35Speaker 1: the day and I know iticed the day neuty naughty, naughty,
- 17:37Speaker 1: So chaos erupted on Broadway at Gypsy, the musical Gypsy,
- 17:41Speaker 1: where one fan got up and slapped another, so I
- 17:43Speaker 1: was told. I brote this story as told during well
- 17:47Speaker 1: into the second act, a gentleman asked some young tweens,
- 17:51Speaker 1: not not not children, but tweens to stop talking. And
- 17:55Speaker 1: the mom got really upset about that and started screaming,
- 17:58Speaker 1: and then the dad jumped up and slap somebody around
- 18:00Speaker 1: the face, and then they were escorted ht but get this,
- 18:03Speaker 1: the show went on. They did not stop him. True,
- 18:06Speaker 1: there's something that's happening. I've noticed that people at events,
- 18:10Speaker 1: theater concerts, even sporting events, there's a there's a rudeness.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Now there's a hostility, there's an anger that wasn't there
- 18:20Speaker 1: ten years ago. What happened?
- 18:22Speaker 2: I think you know what I think it is. I think,
- 18:24Speaker 2: just in general, it's just the price of things. A
- 18:27Speaker 2: Broadway ticket is not cheap at all by all means,
- 18:30Speaker 2: you know, so you want the perfect experience, no matter
- 18:34Speaker 2: you're sitting in the last row, the front row, or
- 18:36Speaker 2: somewhere in the middle. So to hear a kid and
- 18:39Speaker 2: knowing how much you paid, and then you know someone
- 18:43Speaker 2: who who paid just as much feels as if they're
- 18:45Speaker 2: just as entitled. I can understand why it gets to
- 18:48Speaker 2: that point. I'm surprised it hasn't happened more.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Often than I think. You're right, Garrett, something's happening. It's
- 18:53Speaker 1: not just that theater or at events were all becoming
- 18:56Speaker 1: a little bit too aggressive for my liking. Let's all
- 18:59Speaker 1: be considered of one and thenther. Let's end with a
- 19:01Speaker 1: moment of rob rub protect your joy and ignore whatever
- 19:05Speaker 1: threatens it. Protect your joy, So start ignoring people who
- 19:09Speaker 1: threaten your peace, or your energy or your joy. Literally
- 19:13Speaker 1: ignore them. It's hard to do, but it works. Say nothing,
- 19:17Speaker 1: defend nothing, and explain nothing. You don't know anybody a
- 19:21Speaker 1: response or a reaction. Not everything deserves your attention. It doesn't.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Not everything deserves a seater at your table. Silence is
- 19:33Speaker 1: your power. Use it. Test yourself over the next couple
- 19:37Speaker 1: of days. If somebody comes at you in person or
- 19:40Speaker 1: on social media, ignore it. Protect your joy by saying nothing,
- 19:46Speaker 1: defending nothing, and explaining nothing. Hey, that is it for today.
