- 0:23SPEAKER_04: This is the else.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, happy day.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Hello, Clay.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: How are you?
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: I didn't mean to rhyme.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: It was just coincidence.
- 0:35SPEAKER_03: How are you?
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: I'm good.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: I'm good.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: It's uh, I don't know, it was a pretty nice day here today.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Overall, it's getting a little chilly, and I don't like it at all.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: How about your neck of the word woods?
- 0:47SPEAKER_03: I was up to shooting with my dad yesterday, and uh we, you know, at the beginning, we started shooting just about nine o'clock, and it was cool.
- 0:55SPEAKER_03: It was like in the mid to high 40s, and uh, you know, by the end we were in t-shirts and and that kind of thing.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: But, you know, kind of everybody out there at the uh at the gun club agreed that this is probably the last good week uh for the year.
- 1:11SPEAKER_03: That's that's we're on that uh downward slide out here.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: So uh yeah, I did all the normal stuff.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: I got the patio packed up.
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: I did uh it's coming.
- 1:20SPEAKER_03: I so I I think you might be a little bit ahead of us, but uh it's definitely coming.
- 1:23SPEAKER_03: I think so.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think so.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: We uh I played my pickleball Tuesday morning and uh we we decided we're gonna we're gonna try again for Friday, fingers crossed, weather permitting if it allows.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: So um yeah, I think, you know, listen, I to I've told you a couple episodes ago, I'm a little bit addicted, and um uh I think I'm gonna have to find an indoor place to play.
- 1:46SPEAKER_03: I'm that's how I can't get over it.
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: If you're gonna play in the mornings uh for the rest of the be careful that that court's not slick.
- 1:53SPEAKER_03: I mean, that's the one that you will pull muscles, blow out your knee.
- 1:57SPEAKER_03: All that's all kinds of bad comes out of that.
- 1:59SPEAKER_03: So yeah, definitely uh definitely be cautious about that.
- 2:02SPEAKER_03: But good for you for getting out there and doing it.
- 2:04SPEAKER_03: Good on you.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: I needed it.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: It's you know, it's not as exertive as I need for it to be, like just for exercise.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Um, but it's boy, it's it's just fun.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: I I like I'm a little bit more competitive than I than I ever say that I am.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: I always say I'm not competitive at all.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: You get me out on that court, and I am.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: I want to win.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I like winning.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: I'm like Ricky Bobby.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Does anybody know that reference?
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: You know that reference.
- 2:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I am uh oh yeah, yeah.
- 2:33SPEAKER_03: If you win first or last, I'm the uh um I'm the money ball reference, which is uh I hate losing more than I like winning.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: So that I am I am very competitive, but it is a it is the opposite.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: The winning is okay, that's a by product, but I just uh I hate to lose.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: But hey folks, so it is uh it's Wednesday.
- 2:52SPEAKER_03: It is uh 515-ish on the East Coast.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: And uh this is, you know, Else and I have done this, uh, you know, we we continue to say this, but we record on Wednesdays, the show drops on Thursdays, and it's important that you know that because like last week we recorded on Wednesday, and one of the topics that we talked about was the public uh live stream of the execution of uh Major Hassan, right?
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: And you and I both expressed our opinions on that.
- 3:21SPEAKER_03: And uh you put out the uh the clip onto social media, and within like I think the first thing that morning, Thursday morning before the show even dropped, President Trump made a decision to not support the live stream and that they weren't gonna do it.
- 3:35SPEAKER_03: So um that's why we put the timestamp out there, folks, so you guys understand that it is uh there is a little bit of a delay between recording and uh and when it drops.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: And things do change, and we say that all the time.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: All the time, all the time, and it's so true.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: And there's always still somebody, no matter how many times we say this, there's always somebody in the comments section.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Some of those you guys don't know what you're talking about.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, my watch the show.
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: Watch the whole show.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Clearly, you didn't watch the show, sir, if you're saying that.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Rude, I tell you.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Well, Clay has mined gold for us again this week, and um, we have the uh the topics here.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: So here's the overview of what we're gonna be talking about.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: This week, France is cleaning up after the looters, while its leaders argue about everything except the policies that helped create the mess.
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: Iran is still testing how long it can string the clock.
- 4:27SPEAKER_02: Ilhan Omar is fundraising, while investigators say they have DNA.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: CBS staff are unhappy that someone wants to ask a candidate about his family's public posts.
- 4:37SPEAKER_02: The United CEO wants nearly all of your inheritance above a certain number.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: The WNBA is still arguing about the anthem and who counts as a woman.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: And Jay Z has reportedly hired the one performer he knows he can count on himself.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: Let's get into it.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Let's get into it.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: I like his voice.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Let's get into it.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: It's about as deep as I can get my voice to go.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: Not that you need me to have a deep voice.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, why would I even want that?
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: I don't even know.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Uh, anyhow, uh, let's start right off the bat with uh France.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Uh Paris is basically, you know, burning.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: And it is off.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: We actually let's you know what?
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: Let's just start off with the videos.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: We'll show the videos right off the bat here.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Uh, this one I think was just especially heartbreaking and tragic.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Uh I heard so many mixed things about who this woman is woman is, and you know, some reports said that she's um you know, was looting right alongside them until she saw them going into this shop.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Somebody said that she's the shop owner.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: I tend to think she's the shop owner, right?
- 5:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I I had only heard that she was the shop owner.
- 5:42SPEAKER_03: I hadn't heard anything else, but uh but yeah, it's just tragic.
- 5:46SPEAKER_03: I mean, you know, you you can see on her face, whatever her relationship with this shop is, that it is painful for her to watch this and she's trying to stop them from doing it.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: It's it's pretty pretty awful.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's so sad.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: It's just pure anguish and horror.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Her her expression just breaks your heart, and you know, just to just to see that level of destruction.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: And then, of course, we have this, which is absolutely heartbreaking, historical building withstood.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Uh would World War II, I believe they said, and it's just gone.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Gone.
- 6:22SPEAKER_03: 130 years old, I think they said.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:25SPEAKER_03: So yeah, it's just gone.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Heartbreaking to see what's happening there.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: And you know, it it shouldn't be happening.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: And why shouldn't it should it not be happening?
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: Because if they had secured their borders and said no, this probably wouldn't be happening, at least not to this degree.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Um, let's see.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: So protests began over the cost of living, fuel prices, and school conditions.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: They were hijacked by masked looters who hit luxury stores, uh, Sephora, Apple, small phone shops, and everything in between, thousands of businesses, damages, damages in the hundreds of millions to over a billion.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, Paris and others are just all, you know, essentially decimated.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, so here's an interesting aside that won't surprise some people who pay attention to this stuff, you know, as I've talked about before, I I put the topics through uh like chat, GPT, usually that's the first one I put through, and uh just to start the initial like research and and prep preparing for for the show.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: And uh as always, because I know chat's programming lean, um, I read it with a cautious eye.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: And sure enough, it it mentioned absolutely nothing about the migrants and and any of that.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: All it termed it as was um just you know, uh uh students being and and the you know, living wage and all that kind of stuff.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: No mention of it whatsoever.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: And then of course I pushed it on it and it was like, oh yeah, that right, sure.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: Let me get you some info on that.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: It's crazy, crazy to me how it does that.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: But it's a great example of the who's seeing what, who's getting what information, and how many people are missing out on the bigger story here.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: So, what are your thoughts on it, Clay?
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it it migrated initially as a um, you know, protest of conditions of education.
- 8:26SPEAKER_03: Uh, but the backside of that, or or what's behind that, is the influx of migrants has stressed the school system.
- 8:33SPEAKER_03: So classrooms went from, you know, 15 to 18 to a teacher to 40 and 50 to a teacher because of the influx of migrants.
- 8:41SPEAKER_03: And then the teachers started to steadily quit, right, or walk out of their classrooms because they were overwhelmed.
- 8:46SPEAKER_03: So the conditions got worse and worse and it snowballed.
- 8:49SPEAKER_03: So that was the initial story.
- 8:51SPEAKER_03: It moved very rapidly to complaints about cost of living, cost of fuel, you know, all of those things.
- 8:56SPEAKER_03: Um, and of course, all of us from the Western capitalist world looked at them and said, Well, you're socialist.
- 9:03SPEAKER_03: What did you expect?
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: When the systems get stressed and the government controls all of that, then this is what you get out of it.
- 9:10SPEAKER_03: And then, of course, it did morph into truthfully um migrants taking an opportunity to destroy France.
- 9:17SPEAKER_03: And I and I saw interviews with some of them that said, um, you know, because they were in a certain neighborhood and they were uh it was a uh, I think a heavily Asian, you know, street neighborhood.
- 9:29SPEAKER_03: And the migrants said, well, um, these these are Chinese people and they're they've they're so wealthy because of their businesses and their restaurants.
- 9:36SPEAKER_03: That's not fair.
- 9:36SPEAKER_03: We that we should have some of that money.
- 9:38SPEAKER_03: And it was like, you know, so now it's now you've got, you know, illegal migrants, you know, against truthfully, people who have come to France who are not French by you know by birth, probably, or maybe first generation, who've tried to make their way and assimilate and be a part of a productive society, and now they're getting targeted.
- 9:58SPEAKER_03: So um, it's all of those things and watching it progress and watching the story get masked as to really what this is about.
- 10:07SPEAKER_03: And again, it's just turned into migrant violence.
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: Um, but interestingly, is to watch out one to watch Macron get in a jet and fly away um because he is he he's he's done.
- 10:21SPEAKER_03: He's lame luck, he's six months out, um, and and he's on his way out the door.
- 10:25SPEAKER_03: But he he left the country while all this is going on.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: Uh, there is a a pretty staunch conservative female replacement that President Trump was asked about that he said, listen, I don't know the lady, but uh, you know, he's wishing her the best of luck.
- 10:38SPEAKER_03: Um, but you've got now Poland is Poland.
- 10:41SPEAKER_03: Poland is now arming their border.
- 10:43SPEAKER_03: Uh they've pushed the military to the border and have given Poland doesn't take any crop.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: Well, they're shooting now.
- 10:50SPEAKER_03: Like they've given their military authorization.
- 10:52SPEAKER_03: If anybody's trying to come across the border legally, you can shoot them.
- 10:55SPEAKER_03: Um, Italy has now moved, I think it was 500 uh military it's the Carbonieri, which is kind of their military police uh wing uh into deal with some of these migrants.
- 11:06SPEAKER_03: I think in Milan, um you've got the new or the current Japanese prime minister is talking about mass deportations.
- 11:13SPEAKER_03: Um so you're seeing countries are reacting to and they're not sitting back and watching what's going on in France and going, you know, I hope that doesn't happen.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: But there are some that are because the UK is.
- 11:24SPEAKER_03: The UK is watching this and they're doing absolutely nothing.
- 11:27SPEAKER_03: And worse than that, you've got Ireland who has habitually been uh on the side of Palestinians uh because they share this weird, we've always been persecuted kind of attitude.
- 11:40SPEAKER_03: Um and uh and and but it's it's all bleeding over, right?
- 11:44SPEAKER_03: They're going on across the English Channel, they're moving into the UK, and uh, and it's getting worse and worse.
- 11:49SPEAKER_03: And listen, folks, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings.
- 11:54SPEAKER_03: This is not far away from us.
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: It it really, really is not far away from us.
- 11:58SPEAKER_03: And the more that we talk about this, uh, and the closer that midterms come and a lot of the election the potential for elections that we've got sitting on our doorstep, the likelihood of this is growing uh here to happen here in the United States.
- 12:13SPEAKER_03: So you ask my opinion, and my opinion is that uh we need to collectively prepare for this to happen on our doorstep because France is a great example of when you sit too long or you let the wrong people stay in power for too long, this is what you get.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, this is gonna come to a city and a state near you if you let it.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: So boy, oh boy, it's it is frightening to when you look at that, and if you are paying attention and if you are aware um of how close that really is to happening here.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: And I just I just hope that people wake up.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: I hope enough people look around and say, like, we we can't be on board for this.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: I think uh who was it?
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: It was the actress, Deborah Messing.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: A, you know, she she she's not flipping to being a Republican by any means, but she is not voting Democrat.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: So, um, and she cited, you know, some some pretty obvious reasons as to why that she can't support what what's happening right now.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: So hopefully more of them will get a little bit of a wake-up call.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: And you know, obviously that must mean that it affected her personally somehow, because it's the only time they ever really seem to give a damn.
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: And she's very proudly and openly Jewish and the anti-Semitism and then associated with the you know increase in Islam and and radical Muslims you know being put into places, and truthfully, the socialism part of it, uh, yeah, she's a New York girl.
- 13:42SPEAKER_03: Uh and so it is all hitting very, very close to home for her.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: And that's why for this election, these midterms coming up, she has openly stated that she is going to vote Republican uh to avoid all of this.
- 13:53SPEAKER_03: But, you know, to go back to the point we started with about what is being reported in France, we have we have this problem staring us in the face right here in the United States.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: And so, you know, our it's no secret, we've been talking about this for years now, that our media is biased.
- 14:11SPEAKER_03: They paint the picture that benefits them and not necessarily benefits the viewer or listener, or even resembles journalism.
- 14:21SPEAKER_03: And, you know, this is, I mean, we can transition to really the next topic, but but you know, CBS News, uh, Barry, Barry Weiss got brought in truthfully as the as the head of CBS News to kind of curb some of this.
- 14:37SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 14:37SPEAKER_03: And and, you know, they brought her in to bring some journalism back to CBS uh after the 60 minutes debacles that we've covered on this show and the crappy reporting and the the you know um the interviews that they've done that have been total setups and softballs for Kamala and others, you know, it just wasn't good journalism, and then it finally ended up being a lawsuit.
- 14:59SPEAKER_03: And so they're trying to clean things up.
- 15:01SPEAKER_03: And so as she progresses forward or moves this forward as as she wants CBS to conduct actual journalism, she has directed assets and money and people to do investigative reporting on um Abdul al-Syed in Michigan, like you just mentioned, yeah, um, and his association with the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 15:23SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: And what did she get?
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: Which she denies, of course.
- 15:27SPEAKER_03: Well, of course he denies, right?
- 15:28SPEAKER_03: Um, but now the internet's doing what the internet does, thank God.
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: And and it's all coming, you know, it's all coming back to haunt him.
- 15:34SPEAKER_03: Um, but Barry Weiss got pushback internally from her news team, her journalist journalism, I use that term very loosely, yes, uh, journalism team, but also from sponsors, uh, and the sponsor money going into CBS.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it's so crazy.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: And by the way, his uh his half-sister, her posts, uh, she has posts out from 2012, 2013, where she says, My family has long been MB, which is uh the Brotherhood there.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: Um, she talks of her mother's activism in the Brotherhood in the early 1970s, family members being jailed for it, prayers for the relatives, supporting them in Egypt, and her father-in-law uh has a longtime involvement.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: ISNA, I what is INSA?
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: Do you know what that stands for?
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: I don't even know what it stands for.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: ISNA, I don't know.
- 16:29SPEAKER_03: It's not ringing a bell, but I can guess.
- 16:31SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's probably in you know, a branch of ISIS, um, you know, a terrorist organization or something of the like.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: So I I mean, how much more do you want here besides, you know, every everything else he's ever said publicly?
- 16:48SPEAKER_03: IS ISNA is the Islamic Society of North America.
- 16:52SPEAKER_03: So, yes, a terrorist supporting organization, most likely.
- 16:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I mean, you know, obviously good on her for uh, you know, pushing for some integrity.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Is it gonna happen?
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, well, like you said, there's already pushback or they've been pushing back on it, which is so ironic.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: Isn't it amazing?
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Journalists, like you said, so-called journalists, loose term, pushing back against objective, real, investigative journalism.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: It feels like it's a joke, but it's for real.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: It's it's unbelievable to me.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: And it's a, you know, again, then another example of the why and how nobody trusts anything that anyone says, and or specifically the media.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: And how can we ever get that back if this doesn't happen?
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: Now, along those lines, who um that that merger, there was a big merger, right?
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: That uh the parent company of like CNN and whoever else uh has been bought by a right, and there's CNN and Paramount, I think.
- 17:55SPEAKER_03: Yes, uh, right?
- 17:56SPEAKER_03: So, yes, there is a merger uh that is ongoing in the media world that is uh truthfully going to has the potential to uh really refocus CNN from its current political state into what it what Ted Turner had it doing, which was actual journalism, right?
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 18:15SPEAKER_03: And so we'll you know we'll see what happens.
- 18:17SPEAKER_03: Now it's interesting because if you go back to CNN and headline news, which was the offshoot, right?
- 18:24SPEAKER_03: CNN was the deep 30-minute or one hour journalism shows or or real news shows, and headline news was the breakaway, and they were the 30-minute, actually the 15-minute news cycle, right?
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: That's where it came from with the ticker at the bottom and the talking head that was 24 hours.
- 18:40SPEAKER_03: It was and it was the same, you know, they would they would break the same stories, you know, for like seven minutes, and then they would introduce something new for five minutes, and then they would go to a commercial, and then they would start it all over again.
- 18:51SPEAKER_03: Um, and that's where the short attention span news cycle came from.
- 18:54SPEAKER_03: And now you've got CNN, which will likely go back to more of a long form, actually investigative journalism um kind of channel.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: But, you know, um this whole thing with El Sayed, you know, we again the internet does what the internet does, and he's one of these guys that, you know, he pretends to be a tough guy.
- 19:14SPEAKER_03: Oh, he played football, and you know, he he he's you know, he they showed him in the gym, he's tried to do those things.
- 19:21SPEAKER_03: And you know, the guy's five foot six, he's a Tom Cruise type.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, and he puts a few more.
- 19:25SPEAKER_03: Is he that little?
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I didn't realize that.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's he's not a big guy.
- 19:28SPEAKER_03: Um, and he's you know, he tries to be the tough guy and and all of those things.
- 19:33SPEAKER_03: And and but he pulls from the same playbook as everybody else.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: He had an anti-Second Amendment speech the other night where he talked about, oh, you know, the Second Amendment was they were talking about muskets.
- 19:44SPEAKER_03: They had muskets back then, it's not relevant to now.
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: And you know, of course, he got all the same responses like, oh, okay, well, you're standing there holding a microphone in front of a TV camera.
- 19:53SPEAKER_03: You take a quill and a piece of parchment and you write all this down and then submit it, and then we'll we'll start talking about the use of or the relevance of technology into the Constitution.
- 20:03SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: Um, but again, you know, we are suffering from truth, a lack of truthful reporting across the board.
- 20:12SPEAKER_03: And we can see it from France reporting on France to, you know, this this now, and it's thankfully being exposed that uh, and I think it's Barry Weiss that was actually the one who was like, listen, I, you know, my people are screwing this up.
- 20:27SPEAKER_03: Like, I think that's where this came from.
- 20:29SPEAKER_03: Um, and she's not shy about it.
- 20:31SPEAKER_03: So at least somebody is being vocal about how we're not getting the news that we're supposed to have.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know, the the obvious um result of all of this is these people, um uh not just here, you know, in Europe too.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: I'm quite sure.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: I know it for certain here that you've got these head in the sand people who believe everything that these, you know, media organizations spew out and they tell you that you're crazy and you don't know anything.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: And it's like my goodness, like you don't want to agree, fine if you, but at least see what else is out there, at least take a look at what other organizations are are saying and showing, showing you to your face.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: And you know, again, I go, I go back to this awful mindset that we collectively have now that anything that somebody who disagrees with us says must be fake, must be AI, must be false, can't be true.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: And you know, there's just zero objectivity.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: And I do blame these media organizations.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: They they created this, and of course, politicians and all that stuff.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: And and don't get me wrong, I am I am not putting, you know, they love to say anybody from the other side uh loves to say, you know, well, stop watching Fox News, you know, you get all your info.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: No, I don't.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: No, I don't.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: I I Fox does not get any more uh credit than any of the rest of them, you know.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: And and I think I think most of us, many of us, are so sick and tired of this biased media.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Media.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Just tell me the story.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: Tell me what's happening or what happened.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: And let me decide for myself, you know, what I think of it.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Stop feeding everyone what to think all the time.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: It's so gross.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: And, you know, obviously not enough people are tired of it because we we are still consuming everything that they put out.
- 22:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:20SPEAKER_03: And, you know, I mean, we've talked about this before too.
- 22:22SPEAKER_03: I mean, this thing is the problem, right?
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: Everybody, your phone, because it's they figured out how to maximize the algorithm.
- 22:29SPEAKER_03: They figured out that, you know, it becomes addictive very, very quickly and very easily.
- 22:34SPEAKER_03: And people believe, you know, when when you're stimulus, when you're stimulated with the same kind of content every literally three to four seconds as you're scrolling, and it's a new account, and you're seeing the same kind of stuff, and you're getting that that rush that that confirmation bias and all of those things that come with it, like you get lost in it very, very easily.
- 22:57SPEAKER_03: And and the algorithm reads you.
- 22:59SPEAKER_03: So then you stop, even when you are okay with looking at other news sources, you stop seeing them because of the algorithm.
- 23:06SPEAKER_03: So you have to go seek them out.
- 23:08SPEAKER_03: And I know that you know, we you and I do, uh, and I know that we do it not just for preparation for the show, but for just general knowledge, right?
- 23:16SPEAKER_03: But not everybody does that, not everybody one has the time or has the you know gumption to do it or whatever you want to call it.
- 23:23SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 23:23SPEAKER_03: It's easiest just to watch what's on your phone and just take it that way.
- 23:27SPEAKER_03: And so once your algorithm gets going, it's really, really hard to get out of that vicious cycle of news that truthfully feeds what you want to see and hear.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: It is so uh and and most people don't realize how ultra controlled those algorithms really are as to how not even just what they show you, but the order of things that they show you.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: And TikTok is a very specific one.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: I know the other platforms do it as well.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Um, but TikTok is is maybe even like the originator of this formula where, you know, and I don't know what the exact formula is, nobody does except for them.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Um, but there is a formula to it of how they show you the stuff in your feed, something that is emotional, uh, something that's a tearjerker that gets you feeling a certain kind of way, whatever it is for your specific taste, you know.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Uh for me, you know, it's gonna be anything with animals or something, you know, something that's gonna get you, you know, right in your heart.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: And then the very next thing is some type of advertisement, something for you to buy because why?
- 24:30SPEAKER_00: Psychologically, you're you're more vulnerable, you're more receptive when, you know, your heart is opened.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: So they're they're triggering, you know, these emotions um in people to get them to do things, you know.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: And then you could go, you listen, we could go down so many rabbit holes with this, you know, right with the the psyops and everything, and and explaining that and all of that.
- 24:55SPEAKER_00: And, you know, the best case scenario from it is to get so saturated with it and so grossed out by all of it that you just you're unfazed by all of it.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: And you can look at it with more objectivity and just go, okay, so wait a minute.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: I'm seeing I just saw three similar-styled news pieces.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, and don't get me started on breaking news.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Breaking news has got to be one of the most annoying terms on the plan.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: I've talked about this at length in different videos and all of the things, but breaking news, listen, if everything is breaking news, then nothing is breaking news, right?
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: Makes me crazy.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: All right, all right, all right.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: We could we could go down that rabbit hole very easily, but we're not.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Clay's gonna give us the update on Iran.
- 25:42SPEAKER_03: Listen, folks, it's been a few weeks, but uh, but we've been we've been talking about this for months because it just hasn't ended.
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: And and so in the latest uh updates on what's going on in Iran, uh, or in and around the region, really, uh, so you've got uh one, some ceasefire talks are supposedly happening under the table, not at the level of true diplomats, right?
- 26:07SPEAKER_03: So you're not talking about the Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense or the president or vice president, but at some of the lower levels, there's supposedly some discussions of a ceasefire.
- 26:16SPEAKER_03: I know I ran through a proposal at President Trump a week ago, which he said not just no, but hell no.
- 26:22SPEAKER_03: Um so that failed, but they're they're trying, right?
- 26:25SPEAKER_03: Um at the same time, you've got activity in the region from you know, the Houthis were attack uh uh attacked uh Riyadh International Airport in Saudi Arabia.
- 26:36SPEAKER_03: Uh the U.S.
- 26:36SPEAKER_03: State Department is telling Americans who work in Saudi Arabia to come home, including their own employees.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: So there is a uh, you know, at some level government employee mandatory evacuation out of Saudi Arabia.
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: Uh, but you've also got a lot of government contractors who work there because we've been working with the Saudis and training the Saudis, the Saudi military for decades.
- 26:56SPEAKER_03: Um, so there is some of that going on.
- 27:00SPEAKER_03: Um, and and it just continues to expand in the region.
- 27:02SPEAKER_03: I know that the um I think that the French have sent some uh aircraft down to Saudi Arabia to help protect this the kingdom itself of Saudi Arabia.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: I think the Brits are considering doing the same.
- 27:15SPEAKER_03: Um and we are currently this one caught me a little bit by surprise.
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: So uh President Trump was mentioning, you know, Pickaxe Mountain is, you know, this it is a building site within Iran.
- 27:27SPEAKER_03: It's the the um target name that they're using or have been using.
- 27:32SPEAKER_03: So this is a nuclear development site inside of Iran, right?
- 27:35SPEAKER_03: It's an underground facility, it's all of that, but they refer to it as Pickaxe Mountain.
- 27:39SPEAKER_03: And President Trump even brought up the use of the famous Moab uh munition, which is M-O-A-B mother of all bombs.
- 27:50SPEAKER_03: Uh it's is what it's called.
- 27:51SPEAKER_03: And this came up, it was used in Afghanistan a couple of, you know, well, almost a decade ago.
- 27:56SPEAKER_03: Um, but it's a uh it's a massive, massive platform, and it really is designed for hitting underground facilities.
- 28:04SPEAKER_03: Now, in your mind, you think of things like the B-2 stealth bomber or the B-1 or the B-52 or one of these massive, massive aircraft dropping this highly technical uh munition to destroy this facility.
- 28:18SPEAKER_03: And in reality, the Moab, because of its size and composition, is dropped from a cargo plane on a on a GPS guided parachute.
- 28:29SPEAKER_03: Now, what does that mean?
- 28:31SPEAKER_03: Um, you're talking about a cargo plane.
- 28:34SPEAKER_03: Now, this would be a special operations configured cargo plane, but it's a cargo plane nonetheless.
- 28:38SPEAKER_03: This thing's capping out at like 300 miles an hour on its best day with a tailwind, right?
- 28:45SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 28:46SPEAKER_03: This is not a fighter jet or a bomber flying at 10,000 feet or 30,000 feet.
- 28:51SPEAKER_03: It's flying low and it's flying not so fast.
- 28:55SPEAKER_03: So the idea that we would use that tells me that our air supremacy is actually where it needs to be.
- 29:05SPEAKER_03: Like that is an indicator that although Iran, right, and Iran has capabilities to shoot down airplanes, but we've been targeting their systems as much as we have, or we have the ability for short-term suppression of those air defense capabilities, in other words, radar jamming, or you know, we're gonna fly in and blow up whatever route this cargo plane is gonna fly in.
- 29:27SPEAKER_03: But just the discussion of that we would fly this cargo plane in there and drop, you know, I think it's uh what is it, a GBU 43, they call it the Moab, uh, to hit this pickaxe.
- 29:38SPEAKER_03: Uh tells me one that President Trump is is done screwing around.
- 29:42SPEAKER_03: Uh but two, that our our our capabilities are in a pretty good place to dictate what we want to do inside of Iran.
- 29:49SPEAKER_03: Now, does that mean it's the end of the conflict?
- 29:51SPEAKER_03: No, it doesn't.
- 29:52SPEAKER_03: Um, is it an indicator that things are progressing well?
- 29:54SPEAKER_03: Yes, it is.
- 29:55SPEAKER_03: So um we haven't talked about Iran in a few weeks, but uh that's the latest and greatest.
- 30:00SPEAKER_03: We do have, it seems, some some um allied uh support it within the region.
- 30:06SPEAKER_03: Although President Trump did say in an interview that he has called specific Allied leaders and asked them to help with Iran, and they have all said no.
- 30:18SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 30:19SPEAKER_03: So what that tells me is that if France andor the UK are sending jets down to help protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or Kuwait or other nations, they're not participating in an offensive capability.
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: They're participating in a defensive capability uh to help protect those, but they're not going to strike Iran.
- 30:38SPEAKER_03: So it's just a different mindset and a different posture from them that they're willing to help defend, but they're not willing to help defeat Iran.
- 30:45SPEAKER_03: So that's just a different take on it.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: But is that expected or unexpected?
- 30:49SPEAKER_03: I I think it's expected on the current path.
- 30:52SPEAKER_03: Listen, Macron is not a he's not a friend of Trump's.
- 30:55SPEAKER_03: They do the man handshake bullshit that they've been doing for the last few years or since the last you know time he was in office.
- 31:02SPEAKER_03: Um, and then the UK, truthful, has not been terribly friendly as of late.
- 31:06SPEAKER_03: Uh so I think it's along the along the path, unsurprising path.
- 31:11SPEAKER_03: I don't think President Trump expected any support, but he did make them say it out loud, like, no, we're not going to, which gives him the opportunity the next time that they ask for help to go, nope, sorry.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: Nope, can't do it.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 31:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: All right, let's bring it back home and talk about Ilhan Omar, who has put out a new video asking supporters for money while the investigation continues.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: The audacity.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: Uh, Washington's ability to find the donate button during a crisis remains undefeated.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: Uh, underneath the fundraising, there are serious questions that still need some answers.
- 31:47SPEAKER_00: Uh, let's see.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: So we had the home search by Home Security, uh, her phone, and there were boxes seized.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Separate financial disclosure questions are under review.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: And now there's also the New York Post is reporting, citing sources, prosecutors intend to use DNA evidence on long-running allegation, on the long-running allegation that she married her brother in 2009 to help him obtain immigration status.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: Uh, sources say that the DNA is material to the immigration fraud conspiracy theory being built.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: And she, of course, has denied allegations for years.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: And of course, again, of course, she's campaigning and fundraising while this is all going on.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Like nothing's happening.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: And she claims it's all political intimidation.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: So, yeah, I mean, listen, if the evidence uh exists, then investigate it, charge her.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: And and, you know, I I'm kind of uh quoting loosely what Trump said.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: He's like, everybody's talking about uh deporting her.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: We want her in jail.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: Put her in jail if this all comes out, you know, to be to be true.
- 32:54SPEAKER_00: So um I don't know.
- 32:56SPEAKER_00: I I just yes, I do, I would like to see her put in jail.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: I'd also like to see her gone.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: So I don't I don't know.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: I'll I'll take whatever you give, I guess.
- 33:07SPEAKER_03: So um did you so there's there's more to this too.
- 33:11SPEAKER_03: There's a potential fraud charge.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: Um her husband may be in trouble because this winery that they you remember the winery, like it was in their income statement that they have to claim, right?
- 33:22SPEAKER_03: And they went from whatever it was,$150,000 to X million dollars and then back down again.
- 33:28SPEAKER_03: Supposedly the the winery, this vineyard was selling empty casks, barrels of wine to people.
- 33:35SPEAKER_03: So there's like criminal fraud charges, yeah.
- 33:38SPEAKER_03: Um, and so as owners or part owners or whatever their role was, um, there's there's that as well.
- 33:44SPEAKER_03: So you you do have all the things you were talking about.
- 33:46SPEAKER_03: So you've got her the her birth date change, right?
- 33:50SPEAKER_03: So we don't know uh how she became a citizen, when she became a citizen relative to her her birth date.
- 33:55SPEAKER_03: You've got the charges that she potentially married her brother.
- 33:58SPEAKER_03: Um, you have uh her father, who is potentially a war criminal, um, and then you've got the winery, the fraud, uh, and all of this other stuff going on.
- 34:07SPEAKER_03: So, yes, there is potential for her to go to jail and even then be deported.
- 34:13SPEAKER_03: But I think most importantly is she needs to come out of Congress immediately.
- 34:17SPEAKER_03: Like that is that is something, yes, she should be impeached, um, she should be kicked out, like all of those things should happen.
- 34:25SPEAKER_03: And uh, she should be removed from office immediately.
- 34:29SPEAKER_03: And truthfully, almost any other politician, somebody not in the squad, or even if this happened, call it 10 years ago, any other politician would have resigned in disgrace, right?
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Um once upon a time, that's exactly what would happen.
- 34:46SPEAKER_03: And and for all of the folks out there who are saying, oh, this is political targeting and all this other stuff, two key points.
- 34:52SPEAKER_03: One, this investigation started under the Biden administration.
- 34:55SPEAKER_03: Yes, it did.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: One, and two, the uh the uh warrant was signed by an Obama-appointed judge, as we talked about last week.
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: So um you can't say that this is the GOP, this is Republicans, this is such and such and so and so, and that it's all politically motivated because um if it is, then it's motivated by her own party uh to get rid of her, which is is also possible.
- 35:19SPEAKER_03: So I I think again, most importantly, is get her out of office uh and then criminal prosecution and then deportation, probably in that order.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I I I feel like there's a pretty good chance that at least some of this is going to stick because I can't imagine that they would make it public and you know, this this would not be breaking the way that it is if they didn't feel confident.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: I there's just no way, right?
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: I mean, they would not move on that.
- 35:44SPEAKER_00: And I think that's, you know, people get so frustrated because we're we're just an impatient society.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: We want everything five minutes ago.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: And, you know, these cases, whatever the case might be, this one obviously is a perfect example.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: They take time to build, you know, and people who are willing to actually build the case because, you know, as we know, as you talked about, uh the the Biden administration started it and then they dropped it, you know, for whatever reasons.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: I'm sure, I'm sure there were reasons why they dropped it uh that benefited them, of course, you know, and now shoes on the other foot.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: And, you know, please spare me, spare me the theatrics about the whole um political, you know, please give me a break.
- 36:24SPEAKER_00: You really think that anyone who has lived through the you know aggressive persecution of President Trump uh over the past years, watching what they've done to him and his family, do you really think we're gonna, you know, play any violins for you?
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: I don't think so.
- 36:43unknown: Yeah.
- 36:44SPEAKER_03: I've been here something else too, is that the one of the things, one of the big pieces of evidence that was presented to the judge that led to the signed warrant was um they got her sister's phone.
- 36:56SPEAKER_03: Uh and the text messages inside of the family, you know, everybody's got a family text message chain.
- 37:03SPEAKER_03: And the my understanding is that the text messages in her sister's phone were very, very key to uh getting that warrant signed.
- 37:14SPEAKER_03: Like that is some of the primary evidence uh that was presented to the judge that you know gave him, I think it's a him, I think it was a male judge, uh the confidence to sign the warrant that there was enough evidence.
- 37:26SPEAKER_03: So yeah.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's listen, I I I truly believe that she's going down.
- 37:31SPEAKER_00: One, you know, one way or the weather it's you know, criminal charges, which I mean, of course it's gonna be criminal charges.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know, what happens after that, you know, what the actual consequences are are, you know.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: We'll we'll see.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: We will see what they're gonna actually be.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: Um, but I I do like seeing this happen.
- 37:50SPEAKER_00: It just feels like a little bit of like, man, oh man, we have been waiting for one of these absolute criminals allegedly to uh to to go down finally and to to see the process at least playing out.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: It feels good.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: It feels good, and I'm sure it feels good for Trump too.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: We'll keep watching that and uh hopefully we'll have more to report on it.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: Uh we can move on to the United Airlines CEO and Clay, my goodness, you reminded me some things about this guy um that I knew and forgot, but uh I'm gonna let you talk about that part.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: So United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby wants a national wealth tax and inheritance taxes approaching a hundred percent above some level.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: He says he would pay it himself.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: Apparently, uh the baggage fees were just the warm-up for him, right?
- 38:43SPEAKER_00: Um, let's see.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: So an interview with the New York Times, wealth inequity is a danger, he says.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: National wealth tax, um, inheritance tax, and uh the threshold.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: I know he's unspecified.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: His 2025 compensation was roughly 32 million, by the way.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: 32 million for the CEO of an airline.
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: Um, so yeah, I mean, I don't know.
- 39:07SPEAKER_03: So he he's gonna loop he's gonna loophole this.
- 39:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's gonna loophole this because if you look at his if you look at his compensation package, I and I say only because in the grand scheme of 32 and a quarter million dollars, only 1.8, I think, is actual um paycheck money, right?
- 39:27SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 39:28SPEAKER_03: So a vast majority of us, I think it's in the neighborhood of 22 to 24 million dollars of this, is in stock options.
- 39:37SPEAKER_03: So it's not, you know, like he's you that guy's got the tax attorney that's gonna make sure he doesn't get taxed on that, right?
- 39:43SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 39:44SPEAKER_03: And so this is one, the the rich guy, you know, talking out of his butt.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: Um, but at the same time, you know, he's kind of doing the same thing.
- 39:52SPEAKER_03: You remember the famous quote from President Trump in the debate?
- 39:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I I avoid paying taxes.
- 39:58SPEAKER_03: You should too.
- 39:59SPEAKER_03: I just use the tax code that you gave me, right?
- 40:01SPEAKER_03: And so this guy's gonna do the same thing.
- 40:03SPEAKER_03: But at while he's saying that, he's talking about, like you said, 100% wealth tax, 100% inheritance tax.
- 40:09SPEAKER_03: He did say exactly what you said that it is a a danger.
- 40:14SPEAKER_03: Wealth inequity is a danger.
- 40:16SPEAKER_03: But listen, folks, this guy is so far left, so far left.
- 40:20SPEAKER_03: It's not even funny.
- 40:21SPEAKER_03: He fits in the how far left is he?
- 40:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the left loony bin in the sense that he one wanted to establish a flight school at United Airlines that was quota driven by race and gender.
- 40:35SPEAKER_03: Uh, his goal was 50% minority race/slash women, um, which again goes back to the whole Charlie Kirk argument.
- 40:44SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 40:45SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 40:46SPEAKER_03: Um, but also, if you haven't seen, and I'm not recommending you do, but old Scott Kirby, the United Airlines CEO, uh, is a drag queen.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: So, so on top of everything else, he's that far left, people.
- 41:02SPEAKER_03: He is that far left.
- 41:03SPEAKER_03: So he is that guy.
- 41:04SPEAKER_03: He is everything that the the Democrats want.
- 41:07SPEAKER_03: He's a drag queen, he dresses up like a woman.
- 41:09SPEAKER_03: Uh, he's D E I, D E I, D E I.
- 41:12SPEAKER_03: He hates generational wealth, he hates wealth at all.
- 41:16SPEAKER_03: The guy's a socialist in drag.
- 41:18SPEAKER_03: Literally, that's what he is.
- 41:20SPEAKER_03: Literally.
- 41:21SPEAKER_03: And this guy is running United Airlines, people.
- 41:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:24SPEAKER_00: I know who I'm not flying.
- 41:26SPEAKER_00: I haven't, I actually have not flown United um uh probably at least a couple years.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: I I don't have a huge airline loyalty uh because I fly so so much.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm going where I where I'm gonna get the best uh out of it.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, I've never actually been a big huge United fan.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: And this makes me especially glad that I'm not.
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: Good grief.
- 41:47SPEAKER_03: Well here in Chicago, Chicago's the their hub, like their headquarters is here at O'Hare Airport.
- 41:53SPEAKER_03: And actually, when I flew to Toronto a couple of weeks ago, um, I flew United.
- 41:57SPEAKER_03: I you know, had access to some some leftover miles and and you know, scheduled my flight that way.
- 42:02SPEAKER_03: But that was the first time I had flown United in probably 20 years.
- 42:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah and uh it was not great.
- 42:08SPEAKER_03: Um it wasn't it wasn't excellent, that's for sure.
- 42:11SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, this is uh this is folks, this one's a little frightening.
- 42:15SPEAKER_03: It really, really is.
- 42:16SPEAKER_03: Uh what do you think the over-under is for him getting fired?
- 42:18SPEAKER_03: I I give it uh I give it nine months and he's out.
- 42:21SPEAKER_03: That's my guess.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: Uh listen, just just to be contrary, I'll say 10 months.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna really, I'm really gonna conflict with you here on this.
- 42:37SPEAKER_00: I know you you think you think I would have gone with you know 12 months.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: No, no, going 10 months.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: All right, it's like the price is right here.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go nine months, nine months, and two days.
- 42:47SPEAKER_03: And a dollar, yeah.
- 42:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: In one dollar.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: I never I've I was never a price is right girl.
- 42:54SPEAKER_00: That meant now when I was a kid, price is right meant it was nap time.
- 42:56SPEAKER_00: So I don't I don't know what to tell you.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: Oh okay, uh, let's move from one woke dude to uh a woke organization that just can't get out of its own way here.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: Just just imploding, um, well, as the caption says, finding new ways to fail, right?
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: So they've reached the finals, which, you know, I know that sounds contradictory, but uh the conversation is again or still about everything but basketball.
- 43:25SPEAKER_00: And just what uh ridiculous, awful disservice to the talented uh women uh of the sport and the young girls growing up watching this.
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: Like you just, oh, it's so frustrating.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Like you these are really talented athletes and they're just being reduced to the lowest, you know, denominator uh because of wokeism, because this has to be the conversation that we have to have constantly uh when it comes to women's sports.
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: But it's ridiculous.
- 43:58SPEAKER_00: So so this time uh we We've got another national anthem controversy.
- 44:04SPEAKER_00: And a reminder that a league with women in the name successfully identifies men as women.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: So give me a break with all of that, first of all.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: So I guess the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries left the floor before the anthem in both finals games and returned immediately after.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: Real subtle, guys, real subtle.
- 44:25SPEAKER_00: Obviously, we know that wasn't meant to be subtle.
- 44:28SPEAKER_00: So the league rule book says that players, coaches, and trainers are to stand in a dignified posture along the sidelines or foul line.
- 44:38SPEAKER_00: And the protocols were relaxed years ago.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: The league has been quiet about it, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 44:44SPEAKER_00: So the protocols are there.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: They're just ignoring them with no consequence.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's safe to assume.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: Am I right, Clay?
- 44:52SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah.
- 44:53SPEAKER_03: In fact, if you've if you've seen the, and I obviously I don't watch this, uh, but uh if you watch the clip, they literally ran off of the court.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: This was not like uh, you know, they're they're using this whole like, well, this is our normal pregame routine.
- 45:09SPEAKER_03: Like we do this for X amount of minutes and then X amount of minutes before tip-off, you know, we go back to the locker room and we do blah, blah, blah.
- 45:15SPEAKER_03: And it's they they say this is their routine.
- 45:17SPEAKER_03: Um, but if you watch, like they were scurrying off the court to get back to the locker room before the national anthem started.
- 45:27SPEAKER_03: Um, so it's disingenuous from the get-go.
- 45:30SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, but yes, there's no repercussions.
- 45:32SPEAKER_03: Um, but you know, the indicators, you're much nicer in your titling than what I sent you in the original email.
- 45:37SPEAKER_03: So when I sent uh Elsa the email or the list of topics, you know, she said, what did you put?
- 45:41SPEAKER_03: Uh the WNBA is finding new ways to fail.
- 45:43SPEAKER_03: I said they're finding new ways to suck because this um one, um Caitlin Clark, when she got knocked out of the playoffs, viewership went down 45%.
- 45:54SPEAKER_03: Drop of a hat.
- 45:55SPEAKER_03: Indiana got eliminated, and 45% viewership went down.
- 45:59SPEAKER_03: Now, Atlanta, and I just heard this the other day.
- 46:02SPEAKER_03: Atlanta, the Atlanta women's team normally plays in a stadium that is very, very small.
- 46:08SPEAKER_03: And when I say very small, I'm talking like 3,000 to 4,000 seats.
- 46:12SPEAKER_03: Tiny.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 46:13SPEAKER_03: Um, and so as they got into the playoffs and continued to progress, the league did not do anything to say, what are we gonna do here?
- 46:24SPEAKER_03: So they they had a press conference where the commissioners, like, well, I don't, you know, and Kathy Engelbert, who's done after these finals, like she's she's the commissioner and she's finished.
- 46:34SPEAKER_03: She's retiring.
- 46:35SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, she didn't she didn't even think, nobody thought to call across to the Atlanta Hawks, the NBA team, and say, hey, uh, can we de-conflict some stuff and play some games in your arena and or or anything like that?
- 46:46SPEAKER_03: Um it was this very much, you know, woe is me kind of thing, zero action.
- 46:51SPEAKER_03: It finally got straightened out.
- 46:53SPEAKER_03: Um but you've got that, you've got the national anthem, you've got the reduced visibility after Caitlin Clark left.
- 46:59SPEAKER_03: And now, as we've discussed, in their collective bargaining agreement, where there is no definition of a woman, um, Enos Kantner, uh, and and the other former NBA players who said, I want to go play in the NBA as a woman, or WNBA as a woman, have been deemed ineligible because they are quote unquote a man.
- 47:18SPEAKER_03: Uh so expect this to turn into a lawsuit because it will.
- 47:24SPEAKER_03: As it should.
- 47:25SPEAKER_03: Should, right?
- 47:27SPEAKER_03: Um, but but that's it's this entire thing.
- 47:31SPEAKER_03: Um, and and I don't know if you saw the lady, the CEO of XXXY wear, um, the lady who protects women.
- 47:39SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm talking about?
- 47:40SPEAKER_00: Yes, I do.
- 47:42SPEAKER_03: I can't remember her name, but uh Pam something, I think.
- 47:44SPEAKER_03: Anyway, she's a hero.
- 47:46SPEAKER_03: And and so uh at a game in San Francisco where she spent a lot of her adult life because she worked for Levi Strauss and some other companies, um, she went to one of these games and uh she brought three of her friends with, and they went in wearing XXXY t-shirts, and they went down and security had to come talk to them.
- 48:06SPEAKER_03: They weren't asked to leave, interestingly enough.
- 48:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um, but security had to come talk to them.
- 48:11SPEAKER_03: The crowd, like when you see some of the cell phone footage of people of them, you know, security's like, hey, can we talk to you up in the back?
- 48:19SPEAKER_03: And they walked out, and you know, it's the typical, you know, blue hair, nose pierced, overweight, like Subaru drive, like every stereotype you can imagine, screaming obscenities at them.
- 48:32SPEAKER_03: So they went right back to their seat because security was like, listen, these people say you're harassing them, you're flashing your shirts at them, and they're like, We're just sitting here watching a basketball game.
- 48:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and they were.
- 48:46SPEAKER_03: Um of course, but this league again proves that they are run by they they're run by second-class people, it's a second-class league, it is not professional.
- 48:57SPEAKER_03: There's nothing professional about it, um, other than the fact that they're getting paid, and that's it.
- 49:02SPEAKER_03: And it's garbage.
- 49:03SPEAKER_03: And it truthfully, if Caitlin Clark quits, if she decides to go somewhere else um at Europe, or if she just decides to not play anymore, the league is dead.
- 49:15SPEAKER_03: It's it is dead.
- 49:16SPEAKER_03: Uh so yeah, it's uh it's garbage.
- 49:21SPEAKER_03: Oh, by the way, one other reminder I did say a few weeks ago that I bet that Sophie Cunningham would not be back in Indiana after this season, and that she would probably not be back in the league because she would be blackballed.
- 49:33SPEAKER_03: If you watch her on social media right now, she is preparing for that.
- 49:36SPEAKER_03: She hasn't said it out loud, but she's on a podcast.
- 49:39SPEAKER_03: She's being very vocal about the quality of the league and the officiating, and she's being very critical.
- 49:43SPEAKER_03: So uh I think she's preparing for things of life.
- 49:47SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 49:47SPEAKER_00: That's right.
- 49:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's coming.
- 49:49SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 49:50SPEAKER_00: She's a smart, smart girl.
- 49:51SPEAKER_00: And she's gonna do extremely well.
- 49:53SPEAKER_00: She will do phenomenal.
- 49:55SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 49:55SPEAKER_00: She'll be wonderful.
- 49:57SPEAKER_00: Whatever she does, she's gonna be fantastic at it.
- 49:59SPEAKER_00: She's I I love her to pieces and uh and I wish her the best of whatever she does.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: But you know, what it what what a shame.
- 50:06SPEAKER_00: You know, she's got a lot of life in her uh for basketball still.
- 50:09SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, it like I said, you know, I'm not gonna beat the dead horse, but it it is such a disgrace and such a shame and such an incredible disservice to girls.
- 50:19SPEAKER_00: It it just is to take something that is, you know, um uh all the potential in the world right now.
- 50:27SPEAKER_00: This is the time where you could have made this huge.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: Huge.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: This could have been such a big deal, and they destroyed every chance they could possibly have with it.
- 50:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, classic, I I mean, what what a cautionary tale, right?
- 50:44SPEAKER_00: Not that anybody knew, because I don't think anybody else given that opportunity um in the professional field, whatever the field is, would look around and go, hey, you know what?
- 50:54SPEAKER_00: Let's let's just tank this.
- 50:56SPEAKER_00: Let's tank it.
- 50:57SPEAKER_00: Let's let's take our our biggest moneymakers and tr treat them like garbage.
- 51:02SPEAKER_00: Like let's just completely dumb the whole thing down uh for the sake of appeasing a mob.
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna get what you get.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: And and it's a shame.
- 51:10SPEAKER_00: And again, it's the young girls who lose out on this um because the WNBA could have been huge, massive, and they blew it.
- 51:21SPEAKER_00: They blew it, or they're blowing it.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: They are in the process of blowing it.
- 51:24SPEAKER_00: I don't know if they can turn it around.
- 51:25SPEAKER_00: I don't even think that they know that they should.
- 51:27SPEAKER_00: You know, that's the worst part.
- 51:29SPEAKER_00: They think they're right.
- 51:30SPEAKER_00: So uh speaking of people who think that they're all that, oh Jay-Z.
- 51:37SPEAKER_00: Jay-Z has reportedly um selected himself for the Super Bowl halftime.
- 51:45SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I mean, after reviewing the candidates, he decided that he is the best choice and he has the best artistic vision, and um, he's got excellent references himself.
- 52:00SPEAKER_00: He's got some good.
- 52:01SPEAKER_03: Beyonce, I'm sure.
- 52:02SPEAKER_03: I'm sure Beyonce thinks pretty highly of him.
- 52:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:06SPEAKER_00: Um, so I apparently Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber were among those considered by Jay-Z, and in the end, he decided that Jay-Z would be the best pick.
- 52:18SPEAKER_00: So crazy.
- 52:20SPEAKER_00: This is just so crazy again.
- 52:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he owned Rock Nation, it's called.
- 52:26SPEAKER_03: Um and they have had a contract with the NFL since I think it was a it was initially a five-year contract for some ridiculous amount of money.
- 52:34SPEAKER_03: Uh, started in 2019.
- 52:36SPEAKER_03: It's been on an extension uh since 2024.
- 52:41SPEAKER_03: You know, last year with Bad Bunny did not go over all that well uh with the masses.
- 52:46SPEAKER_03: Uh for a number, one, when you do it almost completely in Spanish, you lose most of the crowd.
- 52:52SPEAKER_03: Um, and then when people find out what he's saying in Spanish, you lose even more of the crowd, um, et cetera, et cetera.
- 52:59SPEAKER_03: So the last, you know, last year especially is did not go over well.
- 53:02SPEAKER_03: And so Jay-Z with, I would say I probably uh a pretty high level of autonomy to choose who he thinks.
- 53:10SPEAKER_03: Like you said, he has decided that no one is better than him uh to be the halftime show, and that's what he has gone with.
- 53:17SPEAKER_03: Now, can we expect things like Beyonce to be a participant in the halftime show?
- 53:22SPEAKER_03: Right, I am sure.
- 53:23SPEAKER_03: He's gonna go through his, yeah, he's gonna go through his contact list in his phone, find his best, best friends, find his butts.
- 53:30SPEAKER_03: Yep, they're all gonna get a payday out of it, and uh and and you know, they're gonna have a um, you know, probably well, definitely better than last year would be my expectation.
- 53:39SPEAKER_03: But uh, you know, this is nepotism, whatever you want to call it, favoritism.
- 53:44SPEAKER_03: It's uh you know, good business for Jay-Z, maybe not the best for the NFL.
- 53:48SPEAKER_00: Um, definitely not for the NFL.
- 53:51SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know, listen, and and and credit to him, he's uh, you know, had uh quite a career and uh he's very successful at at what he has done.
- 54:00SPEAKER_00: Um he's you know obviously got quite a few hits under his belt that people seem to love and uh uh made some stars uh you know in in their own rights be because of him.
- 54:13SPEAKER_00: You know, it's it's not to discredit his skill set uh of what he does.
- 54:19SPEAKER_00: However, is that music what the average NFL paying watching crowd is interested in seeing?
- 54:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, I you know, are are the people who s who are sitting around their televisions or their screens uh uh on Super Bowl Sunday with their families and their friends?
- 54:42SPEAKER_00: I I'm just I don't know what the majority of viewers are if that's quite their taste.
- 54:47SPEAKER_00: I know that it's not my taste.
- 54:49SPEAKER_00: I I think uh, you know, I mean I don't matter anymore because I don't watch anymore and I haven't for years.
- 54:53SPEAKER_00: We all know this.
- 54:54SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna, you know, keep harping on it.
- 54:56SPEAKER_00: Um but you know, I mean, my question would be to everyone watching, who would your pick be?
- 55:03SPEAKER_00: I I mean that's what I that's what I'm curious.
- 55:06SPEAKER_00: I would love to do a poll.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: We should do a poll, right?
- 55:08SPEAKER_00: A poll of you know who you would actually like to see for the halftime show.
- 55:14SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, I'm old enough to remember all of the fun.
- 55:16SPEAKER_00: I want to see like classics.
- 55:18SPEAKER_00: I want to see some, I want to see some of our old timers up there, some good old American fun music, just some fun, great stuff, some nostalgia would be nice, you know.
- 55:31SPEAKER_00: But I'm old, so that's just me.
- 55:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the problem, I mean, they could get the Rolling Stones.
- 55:36SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 55:36SPEAKER_03: It'd probably cost them a little bit of money, but I mean they're on tour, so they're not, they're not out of the, you know, they're not out of the realm of possibility.
- 55:44SPEAKER_03: Um but you know, folks, if you want to go down a rabbit hole, uh, and and this is a I you know me, I'm not much into conspiracy theories, but this is a fun one.
- 55:54SPEAKER_03: Um, since USAID got defunded and essentially disbanded, um rap music has essentially disappeared from the charts.
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: Fascinating.
- 56:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, there is a uh there I've seen it on a couple of uh interview podcast shows where there is uh discussion that rap music has been a CIA psyop for decades.
- 56:17SPEAKER_03: Ooh, you now you said you can you can entertain if you want, you can look it up, see what you find out.
- 56:24SPEAKER_03: Uh, you know, if it's two o'clock in the morning and you got an insomnia night going on, you can dig into that one.
- 56:28SPEAKER_03: But uh, you know, the reality too is that this this Super Bowl is as at SoFi Stadium in California, which is in Englewood, uh, which is like w the home of West Coast rap.
- 56:38SPEAKER_03: So um, you know, that's the whole right.
- 56:41SPEAKER_03: You get all the guys from LA, all that Snoop, although they just had those guys a couple of years ago, Snoop Dogg and Dr.
- 56:46SPEAKER_03: Dre and all those yeah, the whole West Coast Mafia guys, they were just in it a couple of years ago.
- 56:51SPEAKER_03: So um, and Jay-Z is a New York guy.
- 56:54SPEAKER_03: So um who knows?
- 56:55SPEAKER_03: Who knows what this is all about?
- 56:56SPEAKER_03: Um, I don't particularly care.
- 56:58SPEAKER_03: Um, that is uh halftime is normally when I go to get more food and go to the bathroom.
- 57:02SPEAKER_03: So I care less about the halftime show.
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I miss caring about it.
- 57:07SPEAKER_00: I really do.
- 57:08SPEAKER_00: Um, but until they course correct, um, if they ever will.
- 57:13SPEAKER_00: So no, I don't think so.
- 57:15SPEAKER_00: I I think we've lost all of that stuff um to to culture, you know, to the the woke, um just to the woke culture that they're they're just gonna pander to whatever.
- 57:26SPEAKER_00: And it's very self-serving, you know, and I know people have said for years that all of that stuff is rigged and and all of that.
- 57:32SPEAKER_00: And I'm certainly not saying that it's not.
- 57:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, I haven't the faintest idea and and I don't care enough to to go down that particular rabbit hole.
- 57:38SPEAKER_00: But the one you just brought up, I think I I think I might maybe you know what could what could one of y'all do the heavy lifting for me?
- 57:44SPEAKER_00: Maybe y'all could just summarize it for me in the comment section.
- 57:48SPEAKER_00: Am I asking too much?
- 57:49SPEAKER_00: I don't I don't want to put that on you if you don't feel like it.
- 57:52SPEAKER_00: But if you do, feel free to drop it in the comments so I can check it out.
- 57:58SPEAKER_03: And I'm gonna bring our first topic of France and our last topic of the Super Bowl together and remind everybody that the NFL is a business.
- 58:06SPEAKER_03: And how do I know that?
- 58:07SPEAKER_03: Because this weekend, there is supposed to be an NFL game where on the edge of Paris.
- 58:14SPEAKER_03: Oh with everything that's going on, oh my smart move by the NFL and Roger Goodell is to say we are not, for the safety of players and fans, we are not playing in Paris.
- 58:26SPEAKER_03: We're not doing it.
- 58:27SPEAKER_03: And I it's not they can find another venue.
- 58:29SPEAKER_03: It'd be okay, but they won't.
- 58:32SPEAKER_03: Because why?
- 58:33SPEAKER_03: Because it's a business, right?
- 58:34SPEAKER_03: And that's what this is about.
- 58:35SPEAKER_03: And so to tie those two things together, the craziness going on in France and the business side of the NFL, there you go, folks.
- 58:42SPEAKER_03: You watch that game is gonna go off exactly as planned in France, uh, at risk to everybody involved.
- 58:49SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 58:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yep.
- 58:51SPEAKER_00: No, I don't doubt it for a minute.
- 58:54SPEAKER_00: I don't doubt it for a minute.
- 58:55SPEAKER_00: So listen, all I can tell y'all is uh be discerning, don't fall for every single thing.
- 59:00SPEAKER_00: Go down a few rabbit holes, just don't get lost in them, right?
- 59:04SPEAKER_00: Do a little bit of everything, but in moderation.
- 59:07SPEAKER_00: We all know that term, right?
- 59:09SPEAKER_00: Everything in moderation.
- 59:10SPEAKER_00: You want to go down some rabbit holes?
- 59:12SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 59:13SPEAKER_00: Just don't don't get so invested in all of it because at the end of the day, most of these things don't or won't matter.
- 59:22SPEAKER_00: What's the rule?
- 59:22SPEAKER_00: Isn't there a rule?
- 59:23SPEAKER_00: If it if you it won't if it won't matter a year from now or five years from now or something, like then you just gotta let it go.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 59:33SPEAKER_00: Maybe we can apply that to most of this stuff.
- 59:36SPEAKER_00: Listen, there's a lot that that it matters and is important, don't get me wrong.
- 59:39SPEAKER_00: You just gotta pick and choose, right?
- 59:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and and uh it's uh you gotta choose what's important to you, and that's really what matters.
- 59:48SPEAKER_03: So yeah.
