Transcript
- 0:03Speaker 1: Hey, everybody.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome back in. It's Atlanta reunion part three day. And
- 0:26Speaker 2: guess who's here to do it with me? Jamie Moyer. Jamie.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Welcome in. I'm so excited to see you.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Welcome in.
- 0:38Speaker 2: That's the sassy way to say it. I have the
- 0:41Speaker 2: greatest pull, like audio pull as a drop from this episode.
- 0:47Speaker 1: You have no way to sleep. You broke bed. You
- 0:48Speaker 1: broke bed. You broke bed. I can't.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I can't.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Look.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Oh, my God. You have it written on your.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I'm going to get a tattoo on my fucking body.
- 1:01Speaker 1: New teeth and nowhere to sleep. You broke bitch. I
- 1:04Speaker 1: swear to you. Oh, my God. That was the read
- 1:08Speaker 1: of a lifetime. Top tier read.
- 1:12Speaker 2: And Angela has like she has leveled up to a degree.
- 1:16Speaker 2: You know, the first season, we were all unsure because
- 1:19Speaker 2: she was pushing it. And self-admittedly, she said she pushed it. But, like,
- 1:25Speaker 2: and I was all in with her this season. And
- 1:27Speaker 2: she just kept getting better and better. And, boy, did
- 1:28Speaker 2: she turn it out in the reunion. But that's just
- 1:31Speaker 2: a little teaser. Before we get into that, I really
- 1:34Speaker 2: just want to talk about two things in Dish today.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Serving Dish. We are on Verdict Watch for the Lindsay
- 1:42Speaker 2: Clancy trial. It is day four, and day four has
- 1:45Speaker 2: come to an end. The jury has not come to
- 1:48Speaker 2: a verdict, but it turns out that they were they
- 1:53Speaker 2: had to come out and tell. Well, they sent a
- 1:56Speaker 2: note and they said, we are unable to reach a
- 1:59Speaker 2: unanimous decision. So as soon as you did.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I was watching a tick tock where I get all
- 2:08Speaker 1: my lawyer courthouse hot takes from the average as you should.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And this one guy goes, he goes, it's going to
- 2:15Speaker 1: be a hung jury because it's past a certain point
- 2:18Speaker 1: of like there's a time where they're supposed to kind
- 2:21Speaker 1: of put in a thing where it's like we're close. But,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you know, and they didn't do it. He goes, it's
- 2:26Speaker 1: they're not going to be able to be unanimous.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah. And so now they they came back in. The
- 2:32Speaker 2: judge had him come back in and he was like,
- 2:35Speaker 2: all right, you don't have a unanimous decision. So I
- 2:41Speaker 2: just encourage you. to go back in there and come
- 2:46Speaker 2: back out. Go back in there and follow the instructions
- 2:50Speaker 2: that I told you. Take a look again, talk it over, deliberate, deliberate,
- 2:58Speaker 2: and then come back in. So, and you know what?
- 3:01Speaker 2: He can do that because there is a law in
- 3:05Speaker 2: Massachusetts where he can do that up to two times.
- 3:09Speaker 2: He can tell them, Go back in your rooms and
- 3:13Speaker 2: do your homework. Okay, you're not done yet. You're not
- 3:16Speaker 2: allowed to come out until you're done.
- 3:18Speaker 1: No supper.
- 3:20Speaker 2: And you can do that up to two times according
- 3:22Speaker 2: to this law. After that, it would be a mistrial.
- 3:27Speaker 2: So right now, they went back in. And I'm glad.
- 3:30Speaker 2: You know, I said that they would not come to
- 3:34Speaker 2: a verdict immediately. for at least five days, at least.
- 3:37Speaker 2: This was the end of the fourth day. Tomorrow will
- 3:40Speaker 2: be five. I honestly don't know if they're, now I'm
- 3:43Speaker 2: thinking it'll be six or seven, which was the long
- 3:46Speaker 2: end of my guess. Because when I was doing jury duty,
- 3:49Speaker 2: when I was a jury duty bish, okay.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Preach and teach.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Okay. I was, I was homeless. I was toothless. I
- 3:57Speaker 2: was broke. I was sleeping at Shamia's and I was sleeping.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I was sleeping with George. And for money. And I
- 4:09Speaker 2: had to do jury duty for the, what was it,
- 4:12Speaker 2: $ 19 a day? Something like that. It was good. It
- 4:14Speaker 2: was good money. That's gas, baby.
- 4:17Speaker 1: That's gas.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Well, they paid for gas, too.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Ooh, 19 on top of gas?
- 4:22Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. Anyway, that's because it was grand jury. Grand jury,
- 4:25Speaker 2: you get paid more. But anywho, it's like there were
- 4:28Speaker 2: two cases that we had to decide. And when we
- 4:30Speaker 2: went to deliberate.
- 4:33Speaker 2: It was very complicated, almost because of the paperwork itself
- 4:38Speaker 2: and the language and the instructions. And I've said this once,
- 4:42Speaker 2: I'll say it again, you really get lost in the
- 4:45Speaker 2: dialogue and what means what, and then you're splitting hairs
- 4:49Speaker 2: and you kind of like back yourself into a corner
- 4:52Speaker 2: of semantics. So sometimes you have to step away, look
- 4:56Speaker 2: at the broad strokes and say, did the prosecution prove
- 5:02Speaker 2: that she did it. Did they prove that? They had
- 5:05Speaker 2: the burden of proof. What is their reasonable doubt? That
- 5:09Speaker 2: she didn't? You know, it's as simple as that. So
- 5:12Speaker 2: I hope that at the end of this, they will,
- 5:17Speaker 2: their verdict is that she is not guilty and or
- 5:21Speaker 2: second choice, not guilty by reason of insanity. Those are
- 5:25Speaker 2: my two choices for what it should be. And I
- 5:29Speaker 2: really hope that's the case because I am I'm hoping,
- 5:32Speaker 2: I have said this before, I'll say it again, allegedly
- 5:35Speaker 2: in my opinion, I do not think that Lindsay did it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I think someone else did it. And that doesn't take
- 5:41Speaker 2: away from everything I've put towards the postpartum depression, anxiety,
- 5:48Speaker 2: psychosis discussion that we've had along the way, which I
- 5:50Speaker 2: think is so important in these times. And I think
- 5:54Speaker 2: that this case will probably change the course of our
- 5:58Speaker 2: knowledge and the education of postpartum psychosis and everything that
- 6:04Speaker 2: goes along.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I hope so too.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I hope so.
- 6:08Speaker 2: That's what we shall see.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Well, let's say this number one, I have fallen down
- 6:14Speaker 1: that same rabbit hole of watching everything and, and the
- 6:19Speaker 1: theories and the things and so much doesn't add up, frankly.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You know, I've told you already, I'm, I'm like 85%.
- 6:29Speaker 2: That she did not do it.
- 6:31Speaker 1: She did not do this. I'm 15% that she did
- 6:34Speaker 1: do this. And that sometimes in life, there are things
- 6:40Speaker 1: that are unbelievable that you can't really explain. You know, like,
- 6:46Speaker 1: of course, it's like, why send him to CVS for
- 6:50Speaker 1: medicine for someone who will cease to be? Things like that. Very,
- 6:54Speaker 1: you know, odd things and the watch stopping and the e-mail.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You know, it reads like he fucking did it, okay?
- 7:02Speaker 2: Allegedly, in our opinion.
- 7:04Speaker 1: If we're just joking around. In our opinion. We're just joshing, yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But also, what's sad to me is before I went
- 7:13Speaker 1: down that rabbit hole about him, I already felt that
- 7:17Speaker 1: she was not guilty by reason of temporary insanity and
- 7:20Speaker 1: psychosis of something that she attempted to get so much
- 7:25Speaker 1: help for and was failed at every turn. And I
- 7:30Speaker 1: am 100% that he was not a great husband or father.
- 7:33Speaker 1: He's not very hands-on. He's a little bit like, I'll
- 7:37Speaker 1: drop you off at the hospital and go skiing, kike vibes,
- 7:40Speaker 1: you know. I don't help and I don't know how
- 7:43Speaker 1: to buy a medicine without a hand holding. So in
- 7:48Speaker 1: any case, I have never believed that she was a
- 7:54Speaker 1: premeditated Susan Smith vibes, you know, remember Susan Smith, that
- 7:58Speaker 1: terrible case.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm getting more of a, you know, really awful torture,
- 8:05Speaker 1: postpartum psychosis, and she'll be tortured and punished for the
- 8:09Speaker 1: rest of her life. She does not belong in jail,
- 8:11Speaker 1: in my opinion. But also I, 85 is a high
- 8:16Speaker 1: number to say. this all, you know, it's a perfect crime.
- 8:20Speaker 1: If someone says, I'm afraid I'm going to hurt the kids.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And someone goes, I'm sick of this lady. Let's go
- 8:26Speaker 1: with that.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Et cetera, et cetera. Right.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Um, I hear you so loud and clear, and I
- 8:33Speaker 2: know that this is a very controversial topic and there
- 8:36Speaker 2: are people that are really on either side. And I mean,
- 8:39Speaker 2: I've been, um, And I get it, trust me. Like,
- 8:41Speaker 2: I really do understand.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Well, you're 100%. You're 99% he did it, right?
- 8:48Speaker 2: I'm 100. I am 100. I'll tell you right now
- 8:53Speaker 2: how 100 I am.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I'm 150, baby.
- 8:54Speaker 2: All right, well.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Then I'll pop up to 87. I'm 87% sure he
- 9:02Speaker 1: also did it. I think you're right. You know, everything
- 9:06Speaker 1: is pointing that way. And also, just what a bumbled....
- 9:10Speaker 2: Investigation. That's, that's also, Oh, it's so awful. It's so awful.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I mean, listen, I understand the eye rolls about the
- 9:19Speaker 2: rabbit holes that everyone has been down, but I also
- 9:22Speaker 2: am like, I am not necessarily a total sucker for
- 9:25Speaker 2: those rabbit holes because you know, the people on Tik TOK,
- 9:29Speaker 2: you know, you're going to get some crazy ass theories, but,
- 9:34Speaker 2: and sometimes those crazy ass theories are the ones that
- 9:37Speaker 2: actually crack the case. And the other ones, that are
- 9:40Speaker 2: just whatever, you can skim by them. And if they
- 9:44Speaker 2: don't have any legs, they're not gonna rise to the,
- 9:47Speaker 2: the cream rises to the top. So some of the
- 9:49Speaker 2: points that are made are usually, you can fact check
- 9:53Speaker 2: them on some level for the information that you have.
- 9:55Speaker 2: But for me, even just watching the actual trial the
- 10:00Speaker 2: biggest part for me is the amount of time he
- 10:03Speaker 2: spent when he arrived at the house and he was
- 10:06Speaker 2: next to Lindsay and he called 911. And that whole transaction,
- 10:11Speaker 2: because he stayed with her for 10 minutes. before he
- 10:15Speaker 2: went downstairs to the basement to check on the kids.
- 10:17Speaker 2: That's 10 minutes. Now, he was right next to the
- 10:20Speaker 2: window of the basement. We know that the light was
- 10:23Speaker 2: on because he said, and this is the trial. I'm
- 10:26Speaker 2: not going to be referencing TikTok, okay? I'm referencing just
- 10:29Speaker 2: the trial right now and his testimony. When he came home,
- 10:33Speaker 2: he went inside and it was quiet. He was like,
- 10:36Speaker 2: that's weird. So he went over to the basement, opened
- 10:39Speaker 2: the door, yelled down, To see if anybody was there,
- 10:43Speaker 2: no one responded. Total silence. He did say that the
- 10:46Speaker 2: light was on. And he made mention that Lindsay always
- 10:49Speaker 2: leaves the light on. Sounded like a little slam to me,
- 10:52Speaker 2: but whatever, Pat. Get your digs in. You're on the stand.
- 11:00Speaker 2: So then he doesn't hear them in the house. So
- 11:06Speaker 2: he calls Lindsay as if... The house is, you know, 20,000
- 11:11Speaker 2: square feet. He calls her, you know, because he can't happen.
- 11:14Speaker 2: He can't happen to find them. He thought, oh, maybe
- 11:17Speaker 2: I couldn't see her car in the driveway, even though
- 11:19Speaker 2: he saw it when he came up, whatever. So he
- 11:21Speaker 2: goes upstairs and he goes in the kids rooms first,
- 11:25Speaker 2: doesn't see him there. And the primary door is shut.
- 11:28Speaker 2: He opens it up with the key because it was locked.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And he sees the crime scene, Lindsay's crime scene for
- 11:35Speaker 2: what she did to herself. He runs outside because the
- 11:39Speaker 2: window is open. And then he runs up to her
- 11:42Speaker 2: and says, what did you do? Which is that everyone
- 11:46Speaker 2: has an eye. Look, okay, so give it to him, whatever.
- 11:51Speaker 2: You don't ever know what you're gonna say in an emergency.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Weird, right?
- 11:55Speaker 2: But still, I'll give it to him. What did you do?
- 11:57Speaker 2: And she says with a crushed throat, I tried to
- 12:02Speaker 2: kill myself. And he says, where are the kids? And
- 12:06Speaker 2: she says, with a crushed throat, in the basement. She
- 12:11Speaker 2: doesn't say, I, you know, in the basement. Just in
- 12:15Speaker 2: the basement. wouldn't you be immediately running to the basement
- 12:19Speaker 2: because you just opened the basement door and no one answered?
- 12:22Speaker 2: You also didn't even look in the basement window, which
- 12:24Speaker 2: was not only less than two feet away from you,
- 12:27Speaker 2: and we know that you could see something in there,
- 12:31Speaker 2: and by something, you know what I mean, because one
- 12:35Speaker 2: of the first responders came and he said on the
- 12:37Speaker 2: stand that when he heard Patrick yelling from the basement,
- 12:42Speaker 2: he looked down into that window and saw Patrick with
- 12:45Speaker 2: something And so you could clearly visibly see. So why
- 12:50Speaker 2: wouldn't Patrick at the very least look in the window
- 12:53Speaker 2: and why would he wait 10 minutes for the first
- 12:56Speaker 2: responders to get there only to when he saw them,
- 12:59Speaker 2: he turned around and immediately went inside. Once he knew
- 13:02Speaker 2: that they saw him, he didn't get spotted in the
- 13:05Speaker 2: basement because that wouldn't be good, right? He got spotted
- 13:10Speaker 2: downstairs after he had already removed the items. So that
- 13:14Speaker 2: alone to me is like, I can hang my hat
- 13:17Speaker 2: on that. I can hang my hat right there. Who
- 13:19Speaker 2: waits 10 minutes, Jamie? That's what I ask you and everybody.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Well, and again, I don't know where everyone's landing with this.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I cannot hang my hat on that because I think
- 13:29Speaker 1: he's a dumb man and a shitty dad. And all
- 13:32Speaker 1: he thought was she tried to kill herself. And he's
- 13:35Speaker 1: not even that concerned about them because he's dingy. And
- 13:39Speaker 1: he doesn't really care. And he's thinking they're on their
- 13:42Speaker 1: iPads or whatever the hell. Like it is suspicious, Amy,
- 13:45Speaker 1: for sure. But he strikes me as a absolutely void
- 13:52Speaker 1: human dingbat. So in that regard, I hear everything you're saying.
- 13:58Speaker 1: And every move he made was dumb. But also like-
- 14:02Speaker 1: Or premeditated.
- 14:03Speaker 2: But that's neither here nor there.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Pretty much so. Yeah. You said, what did you do? Like,
- 14:10Speaker 1: I would never even admit that.
- 14:12Speaker 2: But also like he's upset because here's the thing. Like
- 14:16Speaker 2: she's already told him that she's had these disturbing thoughts
- 14:20Speaker 2: about doing that. So that's why he sucks.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Right.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Like, why did he not? If. That was an accusatory statement,
- 14:27Speaker 2: which means like, oh, you finally did something that you
- 14:29Speaker 2: said you actually were talking about. But she said something
- 14:31Speaker 2: about the kids. So why wouldn't you immediately think, oh, no,
- 14:35Speaker 2: if you were willing to do this, maybe you were willing.
- 14:37Speaker 1: OK, so that that right there, you have hit the
- 14:40Speaker 1: nail on the head, which is why it is his fault,
- 14:44Speaker 1: probably no matter what, because he he almost pushed her
- 14:50Speaker 1: into doing this because he liked the idea. You know
- 14:52Speaker 1: what I'm saying?
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:54Speaker 1: He was not a present husband. I fully think he
- 14:58Speaker 1: was cheating.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a motive. There's a motive.
- 15:02Speaker 1: There's a there's a there's a new life. You know,
- 15:06Speaker 1: what does everyone on Tic Tac say? Nothing more dangerous
- 15:09Speaker 1: than a man that wants to start fresh. Oh, I mean,
- 15:13Speaker 1: that's about two seconds from new teeth and nowhere to sleep.
- 15:16Speaker 1: You broke bitch. It is a quote of the ages.
- 15:20Speaker 1: But I hear what you're saying. The things that are
- 15:23Speaker 1: compelling me is stuff like the table on top of
- 15:27Speaker 1: the blood splatter, the hours of odd phone unlocking with
- 15:35Speaker 1: code and not face. And I hear what you're saying
- 15:39Speaker 1: about his behavior, but I never underestimate the weird shit
- 15:45Speaker 1: people do when they're, they don't know what to do,
- 15:49Speaker 1: but you're right.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I think that's a fair point. I think that's an
- 15:52Speaker 2: absolute fair point. And you know, it's so wild because
- 15:54Speaker 2: it's like, you know, we've all been like scraping through
- 15:58Speaker 2: this the best we can. And we basically have been
- 16:02Speaker 2: looking at all of the, like we can see some
- 16:04Speaker 2: of the evidence. We have the crime scene photos. We
- 16:07Speaker 2: have all the statements, the testimonies, like, so we can
- 16:10Speaker 2: actually look at all this and start and people are
- 16:12Speaker 2: just doing the math and it's just, it's interesting. Yeah.
- 16:17Speaker 2: So anyway, I know that.
- 16:21Speaker 1: One other thing though, I just have to say, The
- 16:24Speaker 1: math ain't mathin', okay? You know, that's why I'm such
- 16:28Speaker 1: a high percentage that he did it. The math ain't mathin'.
- 16:31Speaker 1: There's so many odd things.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Because it's science. There's science and there's a time construct.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:37Speaker 2: And when you put those two together, it's not fitting,
- 16:41Speaker 2: you know? So, like, that's what's really tough about it.
- 16:44Speaker 2: It's like, I mean, I did not go into this
- 16:47Speaker 2: thinking that she didn't do it. Not at all.
- 16:51Speaker 1: So no, no, I was just so sad for people
- 16:54Speaker 1: who who are just so black and white about stuff,
- 16:57Speaker 1: because I think she was absolutely in a mental health
- 17:01Speaker 1: crisis for months, if not years. I don't know. She
- 17:04Speaker 1: just was suffering. And also those poor children. I mean,
- 17:08Speaker 1: that's the saddest. It's the saddest thing. It's the saddest tale.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And no matter what happens to her, she is is never,
- 17:18Speaker 1: you know, her life is over in many, and if
- 17:21Speaker 1: not always.
- 17:22Speaker 2: And you know what? And his life over, but it's
- 17:26Speaker 2: not because he has a penthouse in Manhattan with a
- 17:29Speaker 2: new wife and new baby. So he's fine running marathons
- 17:32Speaker 2: and going on trips.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Yeah. He's a terrible, he's a terrible husband and a
- 17:37Speaker 1: terrible person. I'll be, I, I think that there's no question.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Honestly, like at the very beginning, Jamie, once I heard
- 17:44Speaker 2: that all that stuff, I was like, I mean, I
- 17:46Speaker 2: was writing the tickets to this guy. This is a
- 17:52Speaker 2: get-go-free card for you. You are fine. You need to
- 17:56Speaker 2: move on. Like, this is so horrific. It's okay. You
- 17:59Speaker 2: need to do a hard pivot and get out of here.
- 18:02Speaker 2: You need to live a new life. Like, you need
- 18:05Speaker 2: to do this. That's how I thought of it. And
- 18:08Speaker 2: then I watched the trial. I was like, excuse me?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Are you kidding?
- 18:15Speaker 2: It's such a wild... But listen, this is my opinion.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I know that there's a lot of people screaming at
- 18:20Speaker 2: their phones or their car when their car speakers, who knows? But,
- 18:24Speaker 2: you know, maybe we'll find out someday and maybe we
- 18:27Speaker 2: never will.
- 18:27Speaker 1: But I'd like to know what happened to JonBenet also.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Me too.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I told you that's my first thing at the pearly gates.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'm like, what happened to that poor child? Well, I
- 18:40Speaker 1: hear you and every darling, I hope you can understand
- 18:43Speaker 1: our discussion and looking at all these angles. We just
- 18:46Speaker 1: love to look at every angle. And at the end
- 18:48Speaker 1: of the day, it's a tragedy no matter how you
- 18:51Speaker 1: slice it. Oh, my God.
- 18:53Speaker 2: It's awful. Now, another case that apparently went to court
- 18:59Speaker 2: and there is a verdict here is Tupac Shakur. CNN
- 19:04Speaker 2: says Dwayne Keefie D. Davis was found guilty of first
- 19:07Speaker 2: degree murder in the death of Tupac Shakur, which has
- 19:09Speaker 2: remained unsolved for nearly three decades. Davis is accused of
- 19:12Speaker 2: plotting the 1996 killing during the Las Vegas strip and
- 19:15Speaker 2: is the only person ever charged in the murder. In
- 19:17Speaker 2: closing arguments, the prosecution argued that Davis, who they describe
- 19:21Speaker 2: as the shot caller and his crew, went hunting, that's
- 19:25Speaker 2: in quotes, went hunting for Shakur. Davis's memoir, which details
- 19:31Speaker 2: the shooting, should be considered an admission by Davis, despite
- 19:36Speaker 2: it listing a co-writer, the prosecutor said. The defense said
- 19:40Speaker 2: that Davis' recounting of the shooting in his memoir was, quote-unquote, fiction,
- 19:46Speaker 2: also focusing on missing investigative records and a lack of
- 19:49Speaker 2: direct evidence. evidence. That's one.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Wow. Wow. You know, right. You're writing a fictitious novel
- 19:58Speaker 1: about shooting blue block tech tour. Like what the hell? Unbelievable.
- 20:03Speaker 2: It reminds me of Giselle from Potomac when she wrote
- 20:06Speaker 2: a book about a pastor's wife. having an affair, like
- 20:10Speaker 2: a fiction novel. It's like, oh, okay. So now what
- 20:14Speaker 2: are your thoughts on this, Jamal?
- 20:16Speaker 1: Well, I will say, so I have been following this
- 20:21Speaker 1: for three decades. In the 90s, I was a huge
- 20:26Speaker 1: fan of Tupac and Biggie. I loved them. And I
- 20:30Speaker 1: love Tupac Shakur from the movie Juice and Poetic Justice.
- 20:34Speaker 1: And I was so sad when he was murdered and
- 20:38Speaker 1: you know, that East coast, West coast stuff. I will
- 20:40Speaker 1: tell you, Amy, the name KPD has been around this
- 20:43Speaker 1: case for 30 years. Like it's, it's swirled and the
- 20:47Speaker 1: media would have us believe that this was the East coast,
- 20:50Speaker 1: West coast thing. And I, I actually think it wasn't,
- 20:53Speaker 1: I think it was a case of, of revenge based on,
- 20:57Speaker 1: you know, things that we are not privy to, but
- 21:02Speaker 1: I do not think it had anything to do with
- 21:03Speaker 1: Biggie Smalls at all. And I, I think that was
- 21:06Speaker 1: just a sensationalistic vibe that people wanted to set out.
- 21:09Speaker 1: So the name has been around this for a while. Yeah. Why?
- 21:14Speaker 2: Why now?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Like. Yeah. Great question. I don't know. I really don't know.
- 21:20Speaker 1: But it's it's good to solve unsolved crimes.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I guess you're right. I guess. You know what?
- 21:25Speaker 2: I think that that's exactly what it is. It's like
- 21:28Speaker 2: a cold case file that they pulled and they were like,
- 21:30Speaker 2: let's go.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Yeah. OK.
- 21:34Speaker 1: OK.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Um, are you watching any other documentaries on Netflix or
- 21:40Speaker 2: are you watching the pastor's wife? Are you listening to
- 21:43Speaker 2: something on a podcast called love trapped? Those are the
- 21:46Speaker 2: two really trendy things, I guess, that are out right now.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Are you doing that?
- 21:50Speaker 1: Thank you for asking. The answer is no, I am
- 21:53Speaker 1: not watching any documentaries right now because documentaries are giving
- 21:57Speaker 1: me anxiety right now.
- 21:58Speaker 2: So I'm not.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I'm on a documentary break. I'm on a documentary break.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Um, That takes a lot of control.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Good job.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I mean, like that takes discipline to say, you know what?
- 22:09Speaker 2: I am getting anxiety from this and I need to
- 22:12Speaker 2: step away. I really respect that.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Me, I just, yeah.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Because I don't have that ability. I'm like, I'm getting anxiety.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Give me some more information.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Well, you know, I'm just in a place right now
- 22:26Speaker 1: where documentaries aren't appealing to me. So I've heard of
- 22:29Speaker 1: those and I'm on a thread with some gals who
- 22:31Speaker 1: are watching those and they're loving them. I'm just not there.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I'm not there. I'm also trying to watch more movies now.
- 22:41Speaker 1: And then, of course, I have my Bravo shows. Next Gen,
- 22:44Speaker 1: The Valley, Atlanta, and I'm still chipping away at Potomac.
- 22:50Speaker 2: So have you finished The Valley?
- 22:52Speaker 1: Yes, I have. Now, did you know the Internet's a
- 22:57Speaker 1: titter that perhaps Brock and Sheena come in and Danny
- 23:02Speaker 1: and Nia go out? Have you seen that?
- 23:05Speaker 2: I have not seen that. And do you think it's
- 23:09Speaker 2: possible that because Lala's on there and what were your
- 23:12Speaker 2: thoughts on Lala finally speaking about Sheena and like how
- 23:17Speaker 2: they had that huge falling out about the book and
- 23:20Speaker 2: his affair?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Lala messed up. She owned it. She said, I messed up.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I own it. I miss my friend. And then Sheena goes,
- 23:28Speaker 1: what did Sheena say? It was really shady. It was
- 23:29Speaker 1: something like, I, I, I, I don't know who she's missing.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I'm no longer that version of that person or something
- 23:36Speaker 1: like that. She, she, she had a shady comment back.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Did you see that? Whoa. So basically Sheena said that
- 23:45Speaker 1: this has to do with deeper trust issues. And she said,
- 23:47Speaker 1: this is not just about not posting my book for
- 23:50Speaker 1: a week. It's about so much more than that. So it's,
- 23:53Speaker 1: it's about the betrayal. She said something about the betrayal
- 23:57Speaker 1: of Lala. She said it on her podcast.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Shenanigans?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yeah. I love that name.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I love the name Shenanigans.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Remember when we read the book? Yes. Sheena ain't picking
- 24:13Speaker 1: up what Lala's laying down is what I'm saying. She
- 24:15Speaker 1: doesn't accept her apology.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Damn. Well, because Sheena's like, okay, I'll think about it
- 24:20Speaker 2: when I'm on the valley next. We can talk it through.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Honestly, Sheena and Brock going on the valley could be
- 24:29Speaker 1: great television and Sheena and Lala fighting on the Valley
- 24:34Speaker 1: is so much better than watching Danny get shit blackout
- 24:37Speaker 1: drunk and talk down to people and be very aggressive.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I was uncomfortable this season. I was uncomfortable this season.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Get them off of there. This has done nothing but
- 24:47Speaker 1: hurt their brand. I dislike both of them now. I'm
- 24:49Speaker 1: not a fan of Nia or of Danny. He doesn't
- 24:52Speaker 1: own it. He doesn't own it. Lisa.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Danny.
- 24:55Speaker 1: He doesn't. Own it.

- 27:22Speaker 1: Okay. Angela with the read of a century.
- 27:27Speaker 2: It's so funny.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Oh, and then when.
- 27:29Speaker 3: She was like, The Oakleys are up. You better get
- 27:44Speaker 3: on the right team or something like that.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I am a fan of Angela. And, you know, I
- 27:51Speaker 1: was thinking about this ahead of the podcast today. There
- 27:54Speaker 1: is not one person on that couch, those couches that
- 27:58Speaker 1: I do not like. I like all these girls. I
- 28:00Speaker 1: find them all to a degree, some more than others,
- 28:04Speaker 1: but I like them all.
- 28:05Speaker 2: That's great. That is awesome news. Now, do you have
- 28:09Speaker 2: a problem like with, well, I'll just say I have
- 28:12Speaker 2: a problem with Kelly at times because I'm like, you know,
- 28:17Speaker 2: she had it so fine with Portia. They finally got
- 28:20Speaker 2: to a good place and then she's running her game again.
- 28:23Speaker 2: And I don't like it because she's trying to stir
- 28:24Speaker 2: up stuff that it doesn't really exist just to be,
- 28:27Speaker 2: I feel like on the show. And I don't like that.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Oh, a hundred percent. A hundred percent. She's, she's trying
- 28:33Speaker 1: to maintain her peach. for the the bag she needs
- 28:37Speaker 1: the money but i still think she legitimately is first
- 28:41Speaker 1: of all can i just say to you amy and
- 28:43Speaker 1: we've talked about this many times over how do you
- 28:46Speaker 1: come back from oh you absolutely did sleep with a
- 28:50Speaker 1: married man you absolutely did like like It's just so
- 28:54Speaker 1: wild to me that we're supposed to like all go
- 28:56Speaker 1: out to dinner. The way they talk to each other.
- 28:57Speaker 1: How do you come back from new teeth and nowhere
- 29:00Speaker 1: to sleep? You broke bitch. And then at the end
- 29:02Speaker 1: of the reunion, you're like, yeah, I think we're going
- 29:03Speaker 1: to be really good next season. Everything's starting off. Like, like, so,
- 29:07Speaker 1: you know, Kelly is not wrong. She, she will never forgive.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Like I cannot imagine the, the amount of, they all
- 29:17Speaker 1: want their, they all want the job. They all want
- 29:19Speaker 1: to go on these trips together. How do you get
- 29:22Speaker 1: past some of the things they say to each other? Well,
- 29:27Speaker 1: some of the.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Things that they say that are like shade for fun,
- 29:33Speaker 2: which is like you broke bitch the teeth like that.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I feel like they can totally come back from that whenever.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Angela accused Shamia of sleeping with George. That was absolutely
- 29:48Speaker 2: cuckoo bananas that she did that like insane. And she's
- 29:53Speaker 2: talking to the wife of George. She's like, no, I
- 29:55Speaker 2: didn't say that. I said that she slept with Georgia.
- 30:00Speaker 2: It's like, you can't take it back.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Again, very obvious to me that Angela would like to
- 30:07Speaker 1: secure her peach as well by just being shaken. Nobody believed,
- 30:11Speaker 1: even Jamia and George both probably did sleep together, and
- 30:14Speaker 1: they're like, no one believes this. But it was such
- 30:19Speaker 1: grasping at straws. Because George made a joke. Basically, he
- 30:23Speaker 1: was like, ah, she's so good, I'd pay for that.
- 30:26Speaker 1: And Angela's like, he pays. He pays for sex with Shania.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Did you guys hear that?
- 30:29Speaker 1: I've got to get this on the show.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Did you guys get that on the newswire?
- 30:32Speaker 1: Yeah. She's as messy as a messy bun, but I
- 30:35Speaker 1: do love her, too.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I do love her, too. I was annoyed with it
- 30:39Speaker 2: the first season. I was like, just kind of, like,
- 30:41Speaker 2: chill out. You're doing too much. But then this season,
- 30:45Speaker 2: I'm like... It's all good. We're fine.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Kay.
- 30:48Speaker 2: All right. Well, can we talk about Kay? And she
- 30:50Speaker 2: thought that people were plotting against her and her whole
- 30:53Speaker 2: thing is like, I tried to get ahead of it.
- 30:55Speaker 2: She caused so many crazy wormholes to go down.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 31:04Speaker 2: This was so hard to wrap my head around all
- 31:06Speaker 2: season was like, What does she have a problem with?
- 31:09Speaker 2: Who is she saying is talking about it? People that
- 31:11Speaker 2: we don't know. Now you're talking about stuff off of
- 31:13Speaker 2: the show and the whole black that was DMing. This was.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Okay, Michelle, what a disaster. But I just love her too.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I think you're, you know, she, again, you get on
- 31:26Speaker 1: the show. Well, first of all, Atlanta is really pulling
- 31:29Speaker 1: the curtain back, which we already know this, of how
- 31:32Speaker 1: these streets are talking. Like everyone in Atlanta talks about
- 31:36Speaker 1: the housewives. They all tell, I mean, like at any
- 31:39Speaker 1: cafe in Atlanta right now, someone has a story that
- 31:42Speaker 1: they heard from someone about someone. Right.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:45Speaker 1: And it's probably that the case for all the franchises.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Salt Lake city. Everyone knows I have a story about
- 31:51Speaker 1: Angie K. Right. You know, like, right. You know, so,
- 31:55Speaker 1: so I think that. K Michelle is. was trying to
- 32:00Speaker 1: get in front of things that weren't even going to
- 32:03Speaker 1: come up because someone told her and she's new to
- 32:06Speaker 1: the show. And so she doesn't understand that your friend
- 32:09Speaker 1: who is works at bank of America, having a story
- 32:14Speaker 1: about Phaedra is not unique. And the story doesn't matter. Right.
- 32:19Speaker 2: I mean, it's, it's almost as simple as someone came
- 32:21Speaker 2: up and was like, whatever skeletons you have in your closet,
- 32:25Speaker 2: whatever lawsuits, whatever divorces, whatever friendships that you've lost, whatever
- 32:34Speaker 2: exes you've scorned, it's going to come up. Oh, they've
- 32:37Speaker 2: already found it. Trust me. They probably already have a
- 32:39Speaker 2: binder on you. So you better bring up everything on
- 32:43Speaker 2: your own before anyone else does.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy. And that's her first season. So she
- 32:49Speaker 1: was making rookie mistakes. But I absolutely love K. Michelle.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I think that she is actually very real. I do too.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I do too. And she very, very real. She really
- 33:04Speaker 2: was going through this season, a wreck. She was up
- 33:08Speaker 2: and down and over and out and like just in
- 33:11Speaker 2: and out with Portia and with some of the other ladies.
- 33:13Speaker 2: And I just thought like, well, she's giving it her all.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I mean, that's for damn sure.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Yeah, she is. And she's, she's real. She says, she
- 33:21Speaker 1: says when she dropped her basket, She's a wild person.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Her relationship is wild. Her butt juice is leaking out.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Every little thing that happens with her, her husband, her
- 33:33Speaker 1: lady ponding, porn watching, everything about her, she's real. And
- 33:38Speaker 1: like Drew is fake, you know, and I actually really
- 33:42Speaker 1: like Pinky. I think Pinky is very charming.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Oh, I love Pinky.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Yeah. She's self-deprecating. She's willing to laugh at herself. She's
- 33:52Speaker 1: She's very charming person. And I like how she was
- 33:55Speaker 1: at the reunion. I like how she showed up. And
- 33:58Speaker 1: Andy is thrilled with Atlanta. The way he was acting
- 34:02Speaker 1: when Cynthia's song came on gave my heart sting. I've
- 34:06Speaker 1: been watching that clip a hundred times. And even at
- 34:08Speaker 1: the end of the reunion, he was like, this was
- 34:10Speaker 1: actually fun. Unlike my other franchises.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Oh, I know nothing compares to Atlanta. I guarantee it.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Like he, he has the most fun with Atlanta ever.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Then he does any other. I mean, I can't even
- 34:23Speaker 2: imagine doing these reunions and just the bickering and stuff
- 34:26Speaker 2: like that. I mean, I did.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I remember on Jersey when he's like, shut up.
- 34:37Speaker 2: The only time he started, he like was when the
- 34:41Speaker 2: only time he tried to end it was when Angela
- 34:44Speaker 2: and Kelly were going back and forth. And then Angela's like,
- 34:48Speaker 2: the Oakleys are up. You better get on the winning team.
- 34:52Speaker 2: And Kelly's like, you were driving a 2012 Land Rover
- 34:58Speaker 2: or Range Rover last season. And Angela's like, I got
- 35:01Speaker 2: a 2012. Are you crazy? And then Andy's like, you
- 35:05Speaker 2: guys got to end it. And then Drew with the clapboard.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I was like, that's good timing. Drew.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 2: And he even liked the prop. That shows you how
- 35:16Speaker 2: much he likes Atlanta is that he liked that prop.
- 35:19Speaker 2: He normally does not like a prop.
- 35:21Speaker 1: No, he does not like those props. Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 2: So, anyway, Jarvis. It's funny because Jarvis with the name
- 35:32Speaker 2: kills me.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Now he's showing his face all Jarvis. I know.
- 35:37Speaker 2: No.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I'm glad she has a boyfriend. I think Kelly went
- 35:41Speaker 1: through hell with her ex-husband. Hell. Hell to pay. And
- 35:44Speaker 1: tied to him for life with the daughters. It's a nightmare.
- 35:47Speaker 2: It's a nightmare. But you know what I didn't like?
- 35:49Speaker 2: Here's one thing I get upset at Kelly. I go
- 35:51Speaker 2: back and forth because it's like perfect example. You're going
- 35:54Speaker 2: to shit on Phaedra now for helping you?
- 35:57Speaker 1: What the hell? That was so bizarre.
- 36:00Speaker 2: This is why she turns like that. Like, she'll be
- 36:03Speaker 2: so fine and cool with somebody, and then she'll flip
- 36:06Speaker 2: on them and treat them badly. And I'm like, why
- 36:08Speaker 2: would you do that to Phaedra, who literally, like, had
- 36:12Speaker 2: her whole team working for you, 60K in hours, and
- 36:17Speaker 2: she— I know.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I love how she's like, I paid you $ 10, 000, and
- 36:19Speaker 1: Shader's like, I pee $ 10, 000 out in my morning toilet.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I know.
- 36:23Speaker 2: And she's like, oh, my other attorneys did all that work.
- 36:27Speaker 2: And Phaedra's like, we didn't use their work. We did
- 36:30Speaker 2: our own work. But it's also like, well, if your
- 36:32Speaker 2: other attorneys were so great and did all the work,
- 36:34Speaker 2: why didn't you use them? Why are you asking Phaedra
- 36:38Speaker 2: for a favor? You're looking a gift horse in the mouth,
- 36:45Speaker 2: and it looks like you're incredibly ungrateful for what she did.
- 36:48Speaker 2: And next season... She's going to be against Shamia. And
- 36:53Speaker 2: Shamia is going to be like, I gave you a
- 36:55Speaker 2: roof over your head where you didn't have anywhere to go.
- 36:57Speaker 2: And she's going to be like that. That place was
- 36:59Speaker 2: a hovel. And she'll just probably be mean to.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Shamia about it. That's gross. That's gross. Yeah. Well, I
- 37:05Speaker 1: don't know. Those two need each other desperately. That side
- 37:08Speaker 1: of the couch is rough. I don't even think Kate
- 37:11Speaker 1: Michelle should be over there. But Shamia and Kelly need
- 37:14Speaker 1: each other. They are. And Shamia, you know, I'll tell
- 37:19Speaker 1: you guys. Let's talk about it.
- 37:21Speaker 2: What your dad said?
- 37:23Speaker 1: Yeah, my dad's so sad about. He's very disappointed in
- 37:29Speaker 1: how Shamia is showing up and it makes him sad
- 37:31Speaker 1: because he loves Shamia and Fadra or Shamia and Portia's dynamic.
- 37:36Speaker 1: And she has disappointed him greatly on the show and
- 37:39Speaker 1: it makes him sad. He told me that.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 37:42Speaker 1: And I agree. Shamia was so fun our entire lives.
- 37:47Speaker 1: And now she's doing way too much. Way too much.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I'm 100% on that side. And, you know, when you
- 37:55Speaker 2: said you like everybody, we forgot. Because, like, I'm really
- 37:58Speaker 2: annoyed with Shamia. And I don't like what she's done.
- 38:02Speaker 2: I think that she came on this show and immediately
- 38:05Speaker 2: tried to take Portia down because all she's wanted to
- 38:07Speaker 2: do is be on this show. It's giving Melissa Gorga. Um,
- 38:12Speaker 2: but worse, but worse, way worse because at least Portia
- 38:15Speaker 2: and Shamia had a conversation about it multiple times where
- 38:19Speaker 2: Portia told her, I don't want you on this show.
- 38:21Speaker 2: This is my thing. Like essentially back off. Stop asking.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Also heed the golden rule about housewives. If you have
- 38:30Speaker 2: a friendship that you bring in, it will be destroyed.
- 38:33Speaker 2: And in fact, it was. And that's on account of
- 38:35Speaker 2: I mean, look, you can go both ways about it.
- 38:37Speaker 2: People can say, I'm sure Portia did stuff to Shamia.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Sure.
- 38:40Speaker 2: I'm sure it wasn't perfect. But like she came on
- 38:42Speaker 2: that show immediately was like, Portia didn't even want me
- 38:46Speaker 2: on this show and just started talking about that. And
- 38:48Speaker 2: then once that got going, Portia's like, I'm out. So
- 38:52Speaker 2: then they had this last season, last season, not this
- 38:55Speaker 2: just past one, but the one before where Portia put
- 38:59Speaker 2: up her boundaries and was like, I'm not fucking with
- 39:01Speaker 2: you this season. And they stayed in their own lane
- 39:04Speaker 2: and they were able to like coexist. And I thought
- 39:07Speaker 2: this is good because now, like, I don't think Portia's
- 39:10Speaker 2: done with her. I think Portia wants to see her
- 39:12Speaker 2: be chill and then she'll give her another chance. But
- 39:16Speaker 2: then this season came up and Shamia had still an
- 39:19Speaker 2: axe to grind. And then she has the gull. to
- 39:22Speaker 2: bring up the mothers and the child and so be
- 39:28Speaker 2: it because Portia's done and she screwed up because I
- 39:30Speaker 2: think that Portia would have come back to that friendship
- 39:32Speaker 2: and I think they could have reconciled on camera and
- 39:34Speaker 2: it would have been good that's what I think Jamie I.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Don't know that they could ever come back, and I'll
- 39:41Speaker 1: tell you why. Not from this?
- 39:43Speaker 2: Not from this, no.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Definitely not from this. But remember, before this happened, the
- 39:48Speaker 1: moms had a falling out. So that's a danger zone.
- 39:51Speaker 2: So even from that.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Yeah, even from that. But I think you're 100% right
- 39:56Speaker 1: about cordial, a laugh here and there, a good time,
- 40:00Speaker 1: dancing together, something fun, whatever. It's over now, though. And
- 40:05Speaker 1: Shamia is a fool. Those two gals have, they know
- 40:10Speaker 1: where everybody is buried on each other. So they both
- 40:13Speaker 1: had one in the chamber. So the minute that Shamia
- 40:16Speaker 1: said the thing about your mom tried to sleep with
- 40:18Speaker 1: my dad, then Portia, of course, is like, yeah. And
- 40:21Speaker 1: your mother slept with your father's brother. And that was
- 40:25Speaker 1: the end of their friendship. Which brother? Yeah, which brother?
- 40:30Speaker 1: That was the end of it. And that's because they
- 40:32Speaker 1: know those secrets about each other. And as you said,
- 40:35Speaker 1: this franchise is a friendship killer. You don't want your
- 40:40Speaker 1: best friend on the show more than a friend of.
- 40:43Speaker 1: And when Shamia came on, she's trying to be a
- 40:45Speaker 1: singing career. She's trying to make her rum bum. She's
- 40:48Speaker 1: doing too much. That never had a chance. Never a
- 40:53Speaker 1: chance in hell. And not a great idea either. I
- 40:56Speaker 1: don't want brown liquid coming out of a butt bottle.
- 41:02Speaker 1: The best one.
- 41:03Speaker 2: And he's like, Shamia, what's the update on Rumbum? And
- 41:08Speaker 2: she's like, thank you so much for asking. As a
- 41:11Speaker 2: matter of fact. It's over. It is done. Rumbum is done.
- 41:16Speaker 2: And I was ghosted. So, yep. Family business, you know,
- 41:21Speaker 2: family businesses. What are you going to do?
- 41:24Speaker 1: Gerald. Shamia is doing too much. And she's. Shamia more
- 41:29Speaker 1: than Kelly is the one I think who's just throwing
- 41:32Speaker 1: everything at the wall to see what sticks. She's, she's,
- 41:35Speaker 1: she's trying to this and she's trying to that. She,
- 41:38Speaker 1: she seems behind the eight ball every time on whatever
- 41:41Speaker 1: is upsetting her. She's just, she's just like, she's not
- 41:46Speaker 1: nailing it. She's not nailing her fights. She's not nailing
- 41:50Speaker 1: her alliances. She's, she's trying to get K Michelle by,
- 41:55Speaker 1: by disparaging others instead of just being a good friend.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I like Shamia. I used to like her way better
- 42:02Speaker 1: before she was on the show.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Oh, my God. When she was a friend of. It
- 42:07Speaker 2: was the greatest of times because she always left us
- 42:10Speaker 2: wanting more and the allure of her life. And like
- 42:13Speaker 2: you'd follow her on Instagram and you'd see how rich
- 42:16Speaker 2: she is and how and like her kids and her husband.
- 42:20Speaker 2: And it was. And then, of course, what she went
- 42:22Speaker 2: through with her daughter and that whole journey.
- 42:24Speaker 1: That was really tough. Yeah.
- 42:26Speaker 2: So, I mean, I always really liked her. And it
- 42:28Speaker 2: is very disappointing. I feel like your dad feels so.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's sad. Hopefully they can pull it together. But
- 42:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you, Portia is done. The look in her
- 42:37Speaker 1: eyes is over. And also, I understand. Portia doesn't want
- 42:41Speaker 1: someone going, I miss Pilar. That's why I have to
- 42:43Speaker 1: see her through Dennis. Do not mention my daughter's name. Oh,
- 42:48Speaker 1: that was so bad.
- 42:50Speaker 2: That was so bad. Because you think that she's going
- 42:54Speaker 2: to allow her daughter to come over to her former
- 42:57Speaker 2: best friend's house when they're having problems. Like that doesn't
- 43:01Speaker 2: even make sense. You can't do that.
- 43:04Speaker 1: So it makes me sad, but I still have faith
- 43:07Speaker 1: in Shamia is Shamia is giving a slight bit of
- 43:12Speaker 1: Buko energy for me. She makes me sad and I
- 43:15Speaker 1: don't like her decisions, but not nearly as bad as
- 43:17Speaker 1: Danny and Nia. But other than Shamia, So I guess
- 43:23Speaker 1: I do still like Shamia and I feel for her
- 43:26Speaker 1: journey with her husband. And I just I think she's
- 43:29Speaker 1: the one who's trying to capitalize so obviously on what's
- 43:33Speaker 1: going on. And it's bothering me a little.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's interesting because it's like Shamia is doing that.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Kelly certainly goes about it in a different way, but
- 43:43Speaker 2: she's kind of doing that. Angela did it the entire
- 43:46Speaker 2: first season. She's trying.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Angela really, she doesn't have to do it. Angela's like, oh,
- 43:51Speaker 1: let me slow down. They're loving the pearls right now.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Let me shut the fuck up.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Oh, she, and she's loving it. Sitting next to Portia
- 43:59Speaker 2: and Cynthia.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Angela's on the time. She's very happy. Yeah.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I think that I still like Kelly. I like Kelly enough.
- 44:14Speaker 1: I like them all. I love when K. Michelle did
- 44:17Speaker 1: her little concert and she's like, this song goes to
- 44:21Speaker 1: all my new friends. We are women. We fight. We love.
- 44:26Speaker 1: We eat and we dance. We provide.
- 44:30Speaker 2: We have children. We wake up in the morning. We
- 44:35Speaker 2: put on our pants. We go, we brush our hair.
- 44:39Speaker 2: These ladies have taught me.
- 44:40Speaker 1: No, you're right.
- 44:42Speaker 2: And I love at the end, and they're all saying
- 44:44Speaker 2: what they learned that season. And everyone like has their
- 44:46Speaker 2: thing to say, but it just like, when it came
- 44:49Speaker 2: to Angela, she was like, basically saying that she was
- 44:53Speaker 2: chasing after things before. And now she's just like, don't
- 44:55Speaker 2: go chasing one.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt. Angela came out on top. Drew. I
- 45:03Speaker 1: don't know. Cynthia.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:04Speaker 1: I love Cynthia's boyfriend. I love that he was like,
- 45:08Speaker 1: let's make a song. And then it's so, it is
- 45:11Speaker 1: such a banger.
- 45:12Speaker 2: It is so good. So what else is going on?
- 45:16Speaker 1: The peach life. Like you can just see how, you know,
- 45:19Speaker 1: you have a boyfriend. He's younger than you. He's very sexy.
- 45:22Speaker 1: He's like, let's get in the booth. She barely even tried.
- 45:25Speaker 2: He just opened up his voice memos. He's like, hold on.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Let me open this voice memo.
- 45:29Speaker 1: She barely tried, but then he put a beat behind
- 45:32Speaker 1: it and then using that catchphrase. So what else is
- 45:34Speaker 1: going on? That is so good.
- 45:38Speaker 2: He dropped the beat on that. Yeah, she's giving minimal effort,
- 45:43Speaker 2: which is so perfect because she's smooth. Cynthia, she doesn't
- 45:47Speaker 2: need to do much at all.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I say bring her back full time or let her
- 45:52Speaker 1: be what she is because she's.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. Yeah.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Phaedra is killing it. Phaedra has mellowed so much over
- 46:00Speaker 1: the years.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Oh, she wants to go into politics.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Yeah, she will, too. She'll probably end up in the Senate.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Fader can do whatever she sets her mind to. When
- 46:10Speaker 1: she pulled out that flute, I was like, I am
- 46:13Speaker 1: sat and I am seated for whatever you've got, lady.
- 46:18Speaker 1: She was like, I was like, you have me, you
- 46:22Speaker 1: have my heart and you have my soul.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Everybody knows. It's like she, if she's not pulling out
- 46:28Speaker 2: like a cease and desist document, she's pulling out a flute.
- 46:31Speaker 2: And if she's not pulling out a flute, she's pulling out,
- 46:34Speaker 2: you know, a more, a freezer drawer. From a morgue.
- 46:38Speaker 2: That's gross. But you know what I'm saying? Oh, we just, yeah.
- 46:44Speaker 1: What a great season. I am into it. I am
- 46:48Speaker 1: very into it. Yeah. And I thought I would miss Candy.
- 46:51Speaker 1: You know, I love Candy. I am not a huge
- 46:54Speaker 1: fan of Riley. Get your shit together.
- 46:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that's, yeah, I know. She's really not hitting it
- 47:01Speaker 2: right now in Next Gen, but like.
- 47:03Speaker 1: No, she needs to grow up.
- 47:04Speaker 2: She isn't. mature when candy had that facetime with her
- 47:08Speaker 2: she was like wait a minute wait a minute who
- 47:11Speaker 2: said that she's like wait a minute let me just
- 47:14Speaker 2: get this straight.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Yeah candy's like why am i finding out from page
- 47:18Speaker 1: six that you almost threw something at someone you need
- 47:22Speaker 1: to tell me this and riley's like sorry i didn't
- 47:25Speaker 1: tell you send me five thousand dollars right now thank
- 47:29Speaker 1: you three more cell phones by the way Three more
- 47:32Speaker 1: cell phones and a new four bedroom Manhattan apartment. Sorry,
- 47:36Speaker 1: not sorry.
- 47:37Speaker 2: I am loving next gen. Do you love it? Yeah.
- 47:39Speaker 1: I love next gen. Oh yeah. I like how they,
- 47:43Speaker 1: the producers have added this like flair of like showing
- 47:46Speaker 1: texts and stuff. They're really going for it. I love
- 47:49Speaker 1: Ariel Berman. Is that how you say her name?
- 47:52Speaker 2: Beerman. But what do you think about her dumping Hudson?
- 47:55Speaker 2: And now she's with Liam and then word is offline.
- 47:59Speaker 2: And I don't know if this is true or not,
- 48:00Speaker 2: that she's gotten with Charlie or I don't know. I'm
- 48:03Speaker 2: not sure.
- 48:03Speaker 1: I hope not. I hope not. That's just alleged. I
- 48:06Speaker 1: thought she was a very loyal to Hudson because I
- 48:09Speaker 1: guarantee you Hudson cheated on her. And I also think
- 48:12Speaker 1: he might have some problems. Oh, and I think that
- 48:18Speaker 1: she had to break up with him, but she didn't
- 48:20Speaker 1: smear him, you know? She has too much. She's so mature.
- 48:25Speaker 1: She's so much more mature than her own mom, you know? Well, sure.
- 48:29Speaker 2: I certainly had that wrong. I mean, I thought Hudson
- 48:31Speaker 2: was the one that was like, like the poor guy
- 48:35Speaker 2: that she's just like, I'm, I'm, I know.
- 48:39Speaker 1: He's got a fortune from family owns chicken restaurants, I guess.
- 48:43Speaker 2: Well, they should help Kelly out.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 48:46Speaker 2: But anyway, that's pretty much it. We could talk about
- 48:49Speaker 2: that later, but you know, Thank.
- 48:51Speaker 1: You so much, you guys.
- 48:52Speaker 2: I'd love to sit and.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Talk next gen with you anytime, Amy. I'd like to
- 48:55Speaker 1: talk to you about anything at all. Okay, good.
- 48:58Speaker 2: I love you so much, Jamels. Everybody can follow Jam Detroit.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Bye for now.
- 49:04Speaker 1: I love you. Bye. Drama, darling. Drama, darling.
