- 0:22Speaker 2: Now, Well, where'd you move from?
- 0:24Speaker 3: I moved out of by Newburgh, New York. Here. Oh hey,
- 0:29Speaker 3: I'm calling them before I moved. I was one day
- 0:32Speaker 3: I was driving in around and we were you were talking
- 0:35Speaker 3: about the Tribeca Grill. Yeah, and I wanted to call
- 0:38Speaker 3: in that one day and and uh, I went down there.
- 0:42Speaker 3: My wife's did some acting. We went down there to
- 0:45Speaker 3: uh do some reviews on some short films. Afterwards, we
- 0:50Speaker 3: went down to the restaurant to have a bike eat.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:53Speaker 3: And I'm sitting there at the table, you know, Yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 3: I'm going, Man, I'm looking at the menu, very expensive
- 0:58Speaker 3: and Manhattan.
- 1:00Speaker 2: You know, it's only a three hour show. Could you
- 1:02Speaker 2: speak this up a little?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Okay? So the menus are so big? Yeah, So I'm
- 1:06Speaker 3: trying to decide and I go to put my I
- 1:08Speaker 3: put my menu down on the table there and the
- 1:10Speaker 3: wall sitting around and all of a sudden, somebody goes,
- 1:13Speaker 3: that's something burning, and everybody's looking around. I put my
- 1:16Speaker 3: menu on the damn candle because there's no room on
- 1:19Speaker 3: the table.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Well, you know, you people from Newburgh, when you come
- 1:22Speaker 2: into Manhattan, would you come in on a truck like
- 1:24Speaker 2: the Beverly Hill Billies or something?
- 1:27Speaker 3: It was in the subways.
- 1:28Speaker 2: We took.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Yeah, we took the train and then all.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Right, Thomas, tell of a story, did you But did
- 1:36Speaker 2: you like the Tribeca Grill? Was it good?
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:39Speaker 3: It was? It was all right, but it was a
- 1:41Speaker 3: pretty good place. Set the table on fire though, it's like.
- 1:43Speaker 2: That's okay, they can handle it. No, that's a good place.
- 1:45Speaker 2: It's no longer there, all right, Thomas, thanks for calling.
- 1:50Speaker 2: It was created by It's one of those Drew nipporrent restaurants.
- 1:53Speaker 2: He's a great, great restaurant tour He created it. But
- 1:55Speaker 2: it was sort of a De Niro theme restaurant. It
- 1:58Speaker 2: was all de Niro. The paintings on the wall were
- 2:01Speaker 2: all done by De Niro or his son. It was
- 2:03Speaker 2: like de Niro, de Niro, de Niro, so, believe it
- 2:07Speaker 2: or not. Over the last couple of years he was
- 2:09Speaker 2: DeNiro got so insane and crazy on TV screaming and
- 2:13Speaker 2: cursing about Trump that a lot of people stopped going
- 2:17Speaker 2: to the Tribeca Grill and they had to close. So but
- 2:20Speaker 2: I I'm blanking out. A major restaurant group has taking it,
- 2:24Speaker 2: a major restaurant group, so they're going to reopen it.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I forget who it is. Let's go to Mia in Grantwich, Connecticut. Mia,
- 2:30Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 2:32Speaker 4: Good morning. I must tell you it's so refreshing to
- 2:38Speaker 4: listen to sanity and people that actually love this country.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yes, we do have normal, common sense people listening.
- 2:49Speaker 4: It's just gone and it's astounding to me what normalacy
- 2:54Speaker 4: now is. And I just pray to God when this
- 2:58Speaker 4: takes hold, if it ever does, I'm long gone.
- 3:02Speaker 2: No, you listen, you got the were you in Greenwich, Connecticut.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You've got a very good mayor, Fred Camillo, good solid mayor,
- 3:08Speaker 2: doing great job.
- 3:10Speaker 4: And fortunately you have all the you know Looney Tune.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Well you got you got that Governor Lamont, but you
- 3:18Speaker 2: got a chance to get rid of him in November.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Vote for Ryan Fazzio. He's going to be the Republican candidate.
- 3:23Speaker 2: He'll he'll do a good job. Nice all right, Thanks
- 3:27Speaker 2: for colling. Let's go to Sonny in Manhattan. Sonny, how
- 3:30Speaker 2: you doing.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Good morning to you, Mark, Yes, I'm good. Listen what
- 3:36Speaker 5: would only remember me from two years ago? I called
- 3:40Speaker 5: you and I called you. I said, two hours is
- 3:42Speaker 5: not enough. We need to hear more from you. You
- 3:45Speaker 5: kept saying no.
- 3:46Speaker 2: So this is your fault. You did this to me.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Blame it on me. I don't care. I promise you
- 3:52Speaker 5: you could go back and listen to the tape I called.
- 3:56Speaker 5: I said, we need to hear more from you. You
- 3:58Speaker 5: kept saying no to our.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Well, I think that's what caused it. I think you're right.
- 4:02Speaker 2: I think at the highest levels of iHeart Corporate, they
- 4:05Speaker 2: were saying, you know that, Sonny may have a point.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Let's know, I hate, I hate, I hate. I hate
- 4:10Speaker 2: to break it to you. This is doing three hours,
- 4:12Speaker 2: nine to noon. They've been pushing this for about five years.
- 4:16Speaker 5: No, no, oh really, but I think my won't had
- 4:19Speaker 5: something to do with it. And I'm and I'm so
- 4:22Speaker 5: glad to hear from from you for three hours.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I could be that up there on the twelfth floor,
- 4:27Speaker 2: in that massive boardroom with the fifty executives. They said,
- 4:33Speaker 2: did you hear what Sonny said, I think we have
- 4:35Speaker 2: to do it seriously now that probably happened. Thanks for
- 4:38Speaker 2: calling you. Actually, this has been an idea that's been
- 4:42Speaker 2: pushed for many, many years. Has nothing to do with
- 4:44Speaker 2: Curtis and Larry. This has been pushed for years and
- 4:47Speaker 2: years and years. Let's go to uh oh, let's go
- 4:51Speaker 2: to h Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark, Mark. The Mandamie administration doesn't even have
- 4:59Speaker 1: the last yesterday to show up at the city hall
- 5:02Speaker 1: meeting on this Piero Ta tax after so many of
- 5:06Speaker 1: those city council members. And this is not a put down.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Julie Manning put her political neck on the line and
- 5:13Speaker 1: so did many others. And he doesn't even have the
- 5:17Speaker 1: class to go there and put his political neck on
- 5:22Speaker 1: the line and standing delivery. You really believe in that
- 5:26Speaker 1: go there.
- 5:26Speaker 2: He didn't even have But remember he's on vacation this week.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Well he could have sent that guy Dean full and
- 5:34Speaker 1: that leftover communists from the Blasio administration. Mark, This is
- 5:40Speaker 1: not a gotcha question. Many Republican and Democratic administer presidential
- 5:46Speaker 1: administrations have benefited from the fact that why don't they
- 5:51Speaker 1: include food and energy in the.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Marketing because during the Carter years inflation was like eighteen percent,
- 6:01Speaker 2: nineteen percent. It got embarrassing, so they changed the way
- 6:04Speaker 2: they count the number. They eliminated food and energy. It's
- 6:08Speaker 2: not in the number because they didn't want to have
- 6:10Speaker 2: the number be so embarrassing anymore.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I only say that because for some people, like a
- 6:15Speaker 1: person who has four people in a family, or even
- 6:20Speaker 1: a person like me, my biggest expenditure is I don't
- 6:25Speaker 1: have any loans, I don't have any cap payments to make.
- 6:28Speaker 1: My biggest expenditures are food and energy.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah. I know, but if you recalculate that now, because
- 6:35Speaker 2: in the latest study shows for most people, taxes are.
- 6:39Speaker 1: The number one expelled Mark, I automatically write, all I
- 6:44Speaker 1: don't even count that.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I'm talking people to pay tax I don't not talking
- 6:47Speaker 2: about you.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Of course I do.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Well, Oh, no, of course you do it.
- 6:51Speaker 5: I know you do.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Now, Vincent, we got to go because we got to
- 6:54Speaker 2: do the news. But great call, great point. When we
- 6:56Speaker 2: come back, and Culter will be with us and we'll
- 6:59Speaker 2: talk to her next On seven ten, WR
