- 0:00Speaker 1: On the LUNI is part of the Odd Pods Media network.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Hey, welcome, welcome back, everybody, Welcome to the LUNI. Here
- 0:29Speaker 2: we are. It's me. I'm Aaron, I'm Gina, I'm Kristen
- 0:35Speaker 2: and John.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Oh, sorry, is not supposed to do?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Who is that.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Guest?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Do you want to say it again? Sir?
- 0:44Speaker 3: So? I felt like it was one of those sixty
- 0:45Speaker 3: minutes kind of things, you know, where that I'm Leslie Sto, No,
- 0:51Speaker 3: I'm John Fink. I'm here with y'all.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Thank you, yay. Hello. We had your beautiful wife on
- 0:58Speaker 2: as our first guest, and then schedules were weird, so welcome.
- 1:02Speaker 2: We're glad to finally have you on.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Glad to be here.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Thanks for a couple's episode with you and your wife.
- 1:08Speaker 3: We do have two microphones here, so thinks studios can accommodate.
- 1:14Speaker 2: You're best stuited for that because we don't we recently,
- 1:18Speaker 2: so Christian was here and we recorded and we both
- 1:21Speaker 2: recorded on this mic on the couch and I'm afraid
- 1:25Speaker 2: for Gina.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Hi can care our first guest she checked out and
- 1:31Speaker 4: Padre's gear y. She waved.
- 1:36Speaker 3: That's kind of cool though, that she got such a
- 1:38Speaker 3: nice reception, and then when I popped in when she
- 1:42Speaker 3: was recording her session, all I could hear through the
- 1:43Speaker 3: headphones was BOO.
- 1:48Speaker 4: We did, we did make you feel better.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I don't know if I was a part of that.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I all I.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Know is what I heard from the room, trying to
- 1:58Speaker 3: come in and help some.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Level you were trying to take over through.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I was trying to be an assistive husband.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Well, let's I'll take this mode to apologize. We welcome
- 2:11Speaker 4: you to the LUNI.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Thank you here. I accept it now.
- 2:17Speaker 2: The rule that we've learned in the last couple episodes
- 2:20Speaker 2: before your arrival was that you have to wear nylon
- 2:24Speaker 2: stockings with everything, even if you're homesick with the flu.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So do you have your stockings and your open tot
- 2:30Speaker 2: shoes on, because that's a prerequisite of being a golden girl,
- 2:34Speaker 2: as we've recently discovered.
- 2:36Speaker 3: This is this is good to know. I do have
- 2:41Speaker 3: the closest thing that someone with a size twenty one
- 2:44Speaker 3: foot could get for a nylon stocking, which would be
- 2:48Speaker 3: some uh, which would be some reinforced dickies socks.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Oh, dickies like the they do the pants.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yep, they they do so and they are stretched to
- 3:02Speaker 3: design limit to accommodate the foot. Yeah, you guys can
- 3:07Speaker 3: know that meme with Spider Man holding the two things together.
- 3:10Speaker 3: That's basically every fabric in my sock. And then I
- 3:16Speaker 3: hear questions in the front.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Yes, it's fine, I say, Spider Man not included, go ahead. Sorry,
- 3:21Speaker 2: if your sock stretching, go ahead.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, that's true. And so yeah, I open toad shoes.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Okay, Do I get a pass on that?
- 3:32Speaker 2: Do you have a prison cup to drink out of?
- 3:37Speaker 2: That's my other beef with the nineteen eighties.
- 3:40Speaker 3: I have a tall boy that looks like a fever
- 3:42Speaker 3: tree ginger beer in my hand. Is that?
- 3:47Speaker 2: Is that your Crompish slop mug, Kristen? Oh, then don't
- 3:52Speaker 2: talk to me.
- 3:54Speaker 5: And we got mad.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Oh I almost use my Crompish slop mug from red
- 4:01Speaker 2: one somewhere.
- 4:02Speaker 4: You guys went two together when you're we went to
- 4:05Speaker 4: Regal when.
- 4:05Speaker 2: They were on Deep Deep Deep discount.
- 4:08Speaker 5: It was like a thirty mug for like five.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Thirty nine ninety nine mug and we got we got
- 4:16Speaker 2: the mug and drink and a large soda next to it.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Not in the cup, and then we had regal credits,
- 4:24Speaker 2: so we each got a small popcorn and we paid
- 4:27Speaker 2: less than the price of the mug because of our
- 4:29Speaker 2: regal discount. We each was like four.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Not bad.
- 4:33Speaker 5: It was a heck of a deal. They were desperate
- 4:35Speaker 5: to get rid of their Christmas surplus, be a fool
- 4:38Speaker 5: not to buy it.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Which is weird because they're not going like ninety sixty
- 4:42Speaker 2: or like eighty or ninety percent off with the wicked shit.
- 4:45Speaker 2: The wicked shit is very much still like, yeah, a
- 4:49Speaker 2: million dollars and even half off, it's more than anyone
- 4:53Speaker 2: should pay for the stuff. But Red One, man, they
- 4:56Speaker 2: were like, fuck this movie. I loved it.
- 4:59Speaker 4: I mean it's red Okay. I thought it was all
- 5:01Speaker 4: the way back from Crampus. It's like, yeah, that's old.
- 5:05Speaker 2: So in Red One they go to Crampus's kingdom and
- 5:09Speaker 2: they've is it fun is bigger than John fing?
- 5:15Speaker 4: Oh wow?
- 5:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe it what I see and.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Like fucking beefy and like he Crompish slop is a
- 5:24Speaker 2: game where he takes his hand that looks like makes
- 5:28Speaker 2: the person's head look like a fever tree can and
- 5:30Speaker 2: he like put it here to show you how big
- 5:33Speaker 2: it is, and then he rears back and slaps you
- 5:35Speaker 2: and throws you across the room. Basically, that's a game
- 5:38Speaker 2: they play in that.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Wow.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Yeah, sounds like my date nights. I hold it up
- 5:42Speaker 3: to your cheeks, show you how big it is, slap
- 5:44Speaker 3: you across the room. What am I doing?
- 5:47Speaker 2: All right?
- 5:48Speaker 4: Good buddy? I feel torn because I'm on The Fink
- 5:53Speaker 4: Show with John and so I try to be his
- 5:55Speaker 4: co host, and then I'm trying to be Aaron and
- 5:58Speaker 4: Kristen's side co host.
- 6:00Speaker 3: So I'm going back and toasts.
- 6:04Speaker 5: You wear so many hats.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Yeah, good news. Neither of us pay you, so just
- 6:10Speaker 2: do what you want to do.
- 6:12Speaker 4: In fact, I'm making the right choices.
- 6:14Speaker 3: And let I think. Think with the Fink Show, you
- 6:16Speaker 3: make negative dollars.
- 6:18Speaker 4: I do. I pay to be on it.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I pay to be on the Fink Show too. This
- 6:22Speaker 2: is true.
- 6:23Speaker 4: I'm making smart choices.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Making so much more money with this, Like with our
- 6:29Speaker 2: ad share revenue. Quarterly, I'll be making like eleven twelve
- 6:33Speaker 2: ones of dollars.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Yeah, fantastic.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah, if you ever John, if you're ever like, hey,
- 6:41Speaker 2: you know, it sounds fun. Moving all my stuff to
- 6:43Speaker 2: a new platform. It's not for those of you listening
- 6:48Speaker 2: at home. I apologize this has been fixed by the
- 6:51Speaker 2: time you're listening, but this is like a after the fact.
- 6:54Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. Episodes one through fourteen are radically missing
- 7:01Speaker 2: from people's iTunes libraries now. So if you're one of
- 7:03Speaker 2: those people that like really likes to download their show
- 7:07Speaker 2: and like can't get it, just just reach out to us. Yes,
- 7:10Speaker 2: please let us and we'll figure out how to get
- 7:13Speaker 2: you a copy of it. But when I went live
- 7:16Speaker 2: on on pods Media Network, which is not their fault,
- 7:19Speaker 2: speaker was like, we've already uploaded these, these are in
- 7:22Speaker 2: your feed, and instantly it was like, you have three
- 7:25Speaker 2: episodes that aren't in a season. That's not true. I've
- 7:27Speaker 2: categorized them all and then by the end of the
- 7:30Speaker 2: day you had no episodes, just fifteen. So if you're
- 7:34Speaker 2: what your fault, though, I clearly did something wrong. So
- 7:40Speaker 2: let me know and I'll get you the episodes things the.
- 7:44Speaker 5: Work in progress.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Please excuse our pixie dust to.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Be fair the person at the hosting I don't want
- 7:50Speaker 2: to shit on anyone. It's not on pods Media's fault.
- 7:52Speaker 2: They're lovely. We are so excited to be a part
- 7:55Speaker 2: of their group, and it's not necessarily Speaker's fault. But
- 8:00Speaker 2: our liaison did say, Hi, I got you uploaded. I'm
- 8:05Speaker 2: going on vacation. I'll see you in a week. So
- 8:07Speaker 2: next week thinks will be better.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Hope you not problems, can't.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It just was the luck of the timing. Honestly, I mean,
- 8:16Speaker 2: I want people to take their vacations. I know I'm
- 8:19Speaker 2: pressured to not do so, so I want everyone else
- 8:22Speaker 2: to take theirs. But like she was very sweet and said,
- 8:25Speaker 2: you're all signed up, I'm gonna be gone for a week.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I'll talk to you later. Bye.
- 8:29Speaker 4: You know, hopefully we'll get it straightened out soon.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I feel like the missing part of that message is
- 8:35Speaker 3: while I'm gone, please contact right right.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, because we have an and the odds pods
- 8:46Speaker 2: people set up such a dynamic, well rounded contract. We're
- 8:53Speaker 2: not famous or large enough to have our own dedicated
- 8:56Speaker 2: account rep, but we do so. It would be like
- 8:58Speaker 2: if a poor person found their way into mind insurance.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Insurance with a very wealthy that's right.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And I and I had to just do it, but
- 9:11Speaker 2: they didn't belong, which happens a lot. You would think
- 9:14Speaker 2: it doesn't but like people will be like, I have
- 9:16Speaker 2: this loser kid that has eight Duy's and rents their
- 9:21Speaker 2: house because they're trash, and I have to write their
- 9:24Speaker 2: insurance because they're related to the famous or the intelligent
- 9:28Speaker 2: or wealthy person, and that happens. But this is not that.
- 9:32Speaker 2: This is that we've been around for so long. This
- 9:36Speaker 2: network has been around for so long that before Spreaker
- 9:39Speaker 2: had their like Tears, we got grandfathered into like the
- 9:43Speaker 2: best package. So we have our own person. So please
- 9:46Speaker 2: take your vacation, ma'am. I'm proud of you.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Might as well call you Eric Clapton. You're on tears
- 9:52Speaker 3: from Heaven.
- 9:58Speaker 4: We need a little rim up please. Oh yeah, John
- 10:03Speaker 4: comes with his own sound more. That's why I like
- 10:05Speaker 4: him as a guest.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I'm happy to provide.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Karen had technically access to it, but probably didn't know
- 10:10Speaker 4: how to use it.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I'm guessing she probably doesn't want to use it. I
- 10:17Speaker 3: will stick to the rim shot to let you know
- 10:19Speaker 3: when it's time to laugh. Because you didn't notice that
- 10:22Speaker 3: was supposed to.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Be it was hilarious. Oh thanks, like what No, I didn't,
- 10:31Speaker 2: But that's what we're going to tell you, so that
- 10:33Speaker 2: it's like, if I don't laugh, you're not offended.
- 10:36Speaker 4: It's okay when people just go that's so funny. Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 4: it was it. I don't why did you just that's hilarious. Yeah,
- 10:46Speaker 4: that's it's like, that's lancastic.
- 10:50Speaker 2: You're hilarious.
- 10:54Speaker 4: We have a visitor, a little visit Abby, a little
- 10:58Speaker 4: dog game is you?
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah, there is Handy.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Anna Solo came to say, hello, it's doggie time.
- 11:07Speaker 4: On dogs together. They probably weigh what ten pounds.
- 11:13Speaker 3: She's uh, she's eleven pounds.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Oh, they weigh sixteen pounds.
- 11:19Speaker 3: And there goes Hannah because she had to go see
- 11:20Speaker 3: what what's happening?
- 11:21Speaker 2: Well, plus, I don't want to tattle, but Hannah has
- 11:24Speaker 2: been over to the Box of Shame twice. She's gone
- 11:27Speaker 2: over to look at the toys. She's not well level.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Fine, this is what happens.
- 11:32Speaker 4: She probably knows she can't go in it.
- 11:35Speaker 3: She's she's getting extra leeway with it because she's about
- 11:38Speaker 3: to go to the bed and get some shots.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Oh now, yeah, be brave, hand.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I don't do it. Don't get in the car.
- 11:47Speaker 3: She's got her own little car seat and everything.
- 11:50Speaker 4: It's so cute.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Abby has a car seat. Yeah, she's got a
- 11:54Speaker 2: little basket. She she's got the hot air balloon without
- 11:58Speaker 2: the balloon, just has the basket to the front seat.
- 12:03Speaker 2: So she rides in the front seat like.
- 12:05Speaker 5: What are you guys doing?
- 12:05Speaker 2: What we're we're going? What are we doing?
- 12:07Speaker 5: What are you doing?
- 12:07Speaker 2: I'm gonna work that person outside the window. I'm sure
- 12:09Speaker 2: they're going to attack us, and I'm like, hey, hey,
- 12:14Speaker 2: they're homeless. It's hard enough.
- 12:18Speaker 3: I kind of feel like I need to see a
- 12:20Speaker 3: video of Abbam actually like losing her shit a little bit,
- 12:23Speaker 3: because every time I've seen her on camera, it's been
- 12:26Speaker 3: just you pick her up and she's like, huh, could
- 12:31Speaker 3: you just put me down? Plus, that's not Abby's voice,
- 12:33Speaker 3: I know, but that's the vibe.
- 12:35Speaker 5: You can be aggressive.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Really, I have not seen what did she do to you, Kristen?
- 12:41Speaker 2: Not to me.
- 12:42Speaker 5: We were in the car and there were some people
- 12:44Speaker 5: crossing a crosswalk and she came on glue. She did
- 12:48Speaker 5: not like that.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Wow, how dare.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You if we're just being honest people that are darker skinned.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Oh, she's raised tend to up set.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I don't want to say she's racist, but I think
- 13:03Speaker 2: because her vision's going I think the whiter the person,
- 13:07Speaker 2: the more features she can see on them because she
- 13:13Speaker 2: knows my shape, and so at a distance, look at John,
- 13:17Speaker 2: he's just like, it's like a huge.
- 13:23Speaker 4: He's turtling. Oh, sorry, what's that? Do you have a
- 13:28Speaker 4: swag up on your sound baffler?
- 13:33Speaker 3: Sorry? Yes, for the For the watching of the show,
- 13:35Speaker 3: you'll see what's going on. No, I'm just kidding. There
- 13:38Speaker 3: is a sound baffle that I have attached to the
- 13:40Speaker 3: roof of my Fink Show studios, which is basically a
- 13:44Speaker 3: blanket that has been wrapped in a linen drape that
- 13:48Speaker 3: I found that was really cheap and then attached to
- 13:51Speaker 3: the ceiling with curtain hooks and adhesive hooks.
- 13:56Speaker 5: Looks like a cloud from a play.
- 14:00Speaker 4: What we're saying, I mean, that's oh, it's the thin
- 14:04Speaker 4: show womb.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Oh if that starts to get like muki s yeah, well.
- 14:13Speaker 3: You know, it's really funny. I don't know if you
- 14:14Speaker 3: can see that. There are these little adhesive hooks on
- 14:17Speaker 3: the ceiling, and every once in a while that adhesive
- 14:20Speaker 3: will fail. Oh no, and then all of a sudden,
- 14:24Speaker 3: this blanket just is like hey, right on my face,
- 14:28Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh my god, that's a bounster. And
- 14:30Speaker 3: so there have been a couple of think shows where
- 14:33Speaker 3: you hear me go oh, and so that's what's going on.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Is this.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Karen scaring you?
- 14:41Speaker 3: Well, it's it's that more often, but there's been a
- 14:43Speaker 3: couple of times when it has decided to descend upon.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Me that would scare the hell out of me.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I was, yeah early on, I think it happened.
- 14:54Speaker 2: We're gonna have to start a go fund Johnson.
- 14:58Speaker 4: High quality, john Commands hooks.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah, non dollar tree.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I mean it's strengthened numbers. I just doubled the amount
- 15:05Speaker 3: of hooks so they didn't have to carry as much weight.
- 15:07Speaker 2: So yeah, I just I want to circle back real quick.
- 15:10Speaker 2: My dog's not racist. She just doesn't see well.
- 15:15Speaker 3: There, thank you.
- 15:21Speaker 2: She just she barks a lot. Truthfully, My dad is
- 15:26Speaker 2: like swarthy enough looking in his Italian ness that I
- 15:30Speaker 2: think if he was approaching the car, she would be
- 15:34Speaker 2: like twelve big person coming. I think she'd probably screamage
- 15:37Speaker 2: on fake. To be honest, well, no, because you know me,
- 15:40Speaker 2: that's the difference. I'm not recognizing the first ranger danger
- 15:44Speaker 2: that's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're okay, I'm sorry. I
- 15:51Speaker 2: now everyone thinks my dog's racist, but she's just an
- 15:54Speaker 2: asshole to everybody.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Amila, and I would like to clarify Abby, it's not racist.
- 15:59Speaker 4: She's just blonde and old.
- 16:02Speaker 3: You said your complaints to Abby at on liluni dot com.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Oh, she does need her own email.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Her cataracts are thick. To be honest, like, I'm honestly,
- 16:13Speaker 2: every time I come out of like fred Meyer with
- 16:16Speaker 2: my prescription and she's waiting there for me, I'm like, oh,
- 16:20Speaker 2: she saw it with me, Okay, all right. She still
- 16:22Speaker 2: knows who her mama is like, so when I when
- 16:26Speaker 2: I say that, it's just if someone's like a large
- 16:30Speaker 2: blur that she doesn't recognize. And the only three people
- 16:34Speaker 2: she knows really four people she knows really well are super.
- 16:37Speaker 4: White, so she would hate Robin thick blurredlines.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I was waiting for it.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I was striking so hard as welcome.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Let it land, Let the joke land, Let it land.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I tried so hard to be quiet, Gude.
- 16:58Speaker 4: I'm so sorry, John Fink self, congratulations.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I don't like you making fun of me because I'm blind.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing real quick, because I think we're
- 17:13Speaker 2: pretty close to our like, hey, we should watch it
- 17:16Speaker 2: and talk about it period. But Gina gave us homework.
- 17:20Speaker 2: We were all told that we had to watch a
- 17:22Speaker 2: show I like to be transparent with the audience. And
- 17:25Speaker 2: I was like, oh God, don't watch something and like
- 17:29Speaker 2: to be honest, John, you're on. So I'm always afraid
- 17:34Speaker 2: that when someone involved with the Fink Show recommends a
- 17:36Speaker 2: show to me, that it's gonna be a heartbreaker, like
- 17:40Speaker 2: eighteen ninety nine.
- 17:42Speaker 3: That's fair, still heart You're still heart broke. It was
- 17:46Speaker 3: like a ago.
- 17:48Speaker 2: I barely remember the trust issue, but it's like, yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 2: I have trust issues. I like read limited series like.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Them. Mister Netolks, I like, president of Netflix, I need
- 18:04Speaker 3: you to kill this show.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yes, my friend Aaron liked it too much.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Yes, she's having too much fun. I would allow it.
- 18:13Speaker 2: We so we all watched mid Century Modern. John. I
- 18:16Speaker 2: know you didn't have the homework assignment, but.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Sorry, I did it already.
- 18:21Speaker 4: This is what's being called The Gay Golden Girls.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Yep.
- 18:25Speaker 5: I binge watched it yesterday. All ten episodes.
- 18:29Speaker 4: I've watched nine out of ten so far.
- 18:31Speaker 3: I think I've watched eight out of ten.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So good.
- 18:35Speaker 7: Aaron, how many of you watched I watched them all
- 18:39Speaker 7: straight through, put it on, and then it was just over.
- 18:42Speaker 4: I think it grows on what happened. It was pretty good.
- 18:46Speaker 4: I enjoyed it.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I was obsessed. I called my parents and I was like, Yo,
- 18:50Speaker 2: you got to watch this show. Now. This is like
- 18:53Speaker 2: the gay male version of the Golden Girls.
- 18:56Speaker 4: And I'm okay, I'm calling themselves yet I I am
- 19:01Speaker 4: blessing it. M h Donela and I endorsed this mid
- 19:05Speaker 4: century mocker.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I love seeing Linda Lavin in that. Although yeah, toilers
- 19:12Speaker 2: to the show. She's dead in real life now, so
- 19:16Speaker 2: that was very sad and it was kind of they
- 19:19Speaker 2: do deal with it in the series. None of y'all,
- 19:22Speaker 2: Kristien got there. I saw that you haven't got there.
- 19:25Speaker 4: That's probably your next one.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I think, so yeah, But I mean.
- 19:29Speaker 4: She died and they handled it.
- 19:32Speaker 2: They handle it nicely. And I will say that I
- 19:36Speaker 2: didn't watch Call Me Kat.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Was she on that show?
- 19:42Speaker 2: Jordan was on that show?
- 19:44Speaker 3: Oh?
- 19:44Speaker 2: And I watched the episode after he passed or he
- 19:47Speaker 2: dealt with it, and I fucking lost.
- 19:50Speaker 3: I love Yeah, it destroyed me.
- 19:53Speaker 2: I did an end memorial graphic that was just a
- 19:56Speaker 2: gift to my mom because she loved Leslie joy and
- 20:00Speaker 2: so much, and he got her through COVID with his
- 20:03Speaker 2: like Hunger Down videos and stuff, and so we were
- 20:07Speaker 2: a big Leslie Jordan fan. I feel like they did
- 20:10Speaker 2: as beautiful as a tribute to Linda Liven and honored
- 20:13Speaker 2: her in the episode the same way.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Oh that's great.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Well anyway, I just fucking love that
- 20:20Speaker 2: show now, and I was like, where's my next season
- 20:23Speaker 2: at Matt Bohmer is just a goddamn delight.
- 20:26Speaker 5: He's fantastic. Like I've always loved Nathan Lane, but Matt Bomber.
- 20:30Speaker 5: I didn't realize how funny he was.
- 20:32Speaker 3: He's awesome.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Is he the ex Mormon one?
- 20:35Speaker 3: He's jered? Yeah? Yeah.
- 20:37Speaker 4: And then the other guy I only recognized from Zoolander.
- 20:40Speaker 4: I was like, hey, I don't.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Know what's familiar with his work.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know what else he's been in.
- 20:46Speaker 5: His character is great.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Yeah, he's great. I fell in love with Matt Bomber's
- 20:52Speaker 3: character on Doom Patrol.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Wol was he the same kind of flighty guy? Is
- 21:00Speaker 4: totally different?
- 21:00Speaker 3: No, completely different? He was in Doom Patrol. He was
- 21:04Speaker 3: a well, a closeted gay man in the you know,
- 21:09Speaker 3: fifties as a military test pilot. I think it was
- 21:13Speaker 3: in the fifties.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Feel free to correct me for kind of like the
- 21:16Speaker 4: captain on Ghosts, do you watch Ghosts?
- 21:19Speaker 2: Such a good shot?
- 21:20Speaker 4: Ghosts British ghost Sorry.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Like I watched both Ghosts and so I was like.
- 21:27Speaker 4: I haven't watched the American yet. Sorry, go ahead, Mark.
- 21:30Speaker 3: So the point the point is I liked him a
- 21:31Speaker 3: lot in Doom Patrol, which I highly highly recommend. It's
- 21:35Speaker 3: a really, really good series that talks about mental illness.
- 21:39Speaker 3: It talks about turning what you think is a weakness
- 21:42Speaker 3: into your superpower. It talks about saying goodbye to friends
- 21:46Speaker 3: as well I can. And also one of our buddies
- 21:49Speaker 3: from The Fink Show talking Thomas did puppets on the show.
- 21:51Speaker 4: That's right, Yeah, how do you turn diarrhea into a superpower?
- 21:57Speaker 3: Oh?
- 21:57Speaker 4: You can asking for a friend.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Just come to Hushi, Pennsylvania near Lancaster.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Right, cool? Cool, Well, it sounds like we've all had
- 22:11Speaker 2: a fun time watching that show. I'm neat, but watch it.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Check it out.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It's really well done.
- 22:17Speaker 4: They're both on Hulu, m so it's easy. Yeah, But
- 22:21Speaker 4: we're talking about episode twenty three of the Golden Girls. Oh,
- 22:27Speaker 4: and this episode is called blind Ambitions. Yeah, the original
- 22:31Speaker 4: air day Abbey original air day is March twenty ninth,
- 22:36Speaker 4: nineteen eighty six, directed by Terry Hughes, written by our
- 22:42Speaker 4: J Collery and I have some trivia for when we're done.
- 22:47Speaker 4: But John and Kristin, what do you think this is about?
- 22:50Speaker 4: Blind Ambitions?
- 22:52Speaker 3: I just got spoiled because I just pulled up blind
- 22:55Speaker 3: Ambitions and it gave me the little slugline.
- 22:57Speaker 5: So I'm gonna say it's Blanche's blind ambition to became
- 23:05Speaker 5: rich and famous.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Okay, I like it going with that?
- 23:09Speaker 2: Huh? Just kidding?
- 23:12Speaker 5: Wow, White me.
- 23:15Speaker 4: And who do we think the villain will be?
- 23:17Speaker 2: You two?
- 23:18Speaker 4: Aaron den As and as we got on an odd
- 23:24Speaker 4: pod Beata Network, we're tearing ourselves apart. No, I see
- 23:29Speaker 4: what you're talking about, Aaron, with that lack of uterus,
- 23:31Speaker 4: her four humors are out of a line. Wow, No,
- 23:35Speaker 4: go ahead, some villain.
- 23:38Speaker 5: I'm gonna say Dorothy, because she's the most pragmatic.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Who do you think, John, I'm gonna just guess and
- 23:44Speaker 3: say Rose you want to do both?
- 23:46Speaker 4: Okay? Yeah, you guys agree, you have to come to
- 23:53Speaker 4: I'm sorry we didn't tell John.
- 23:56Speaker 3: It's news to me cool.
- 23:58Speaker 2: The point is to see how much bullshitting I can
- 24:01Speaker 2: do at the end to convince you that I'm right
- 24:03Speaker 2: that this person's the villain. And a lot of times
- 24:06Speaker 2: they do the work.
- 24:06Speaker 4: When book Daddy, but she made a strong case that
- 24:10Speaker 4: capitalism was the villain.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I made that happen.
- 24:15Speaker 3: I did.
- 24:16Speaker 4: Yeah, that was that was perfect.
- 24:17Speaker 2: That episode did it for me, to be honest anyway. Well,
- 24:21Speaker 2: and I want you guys to watch this episode because truthfully,
- 24:26Speaker 2: I have my own bit of trivia and I didn't
- 24:28Speaker 2: write a question about it because I couldn't verify it.
- 24:32Speaker 2: But I believe that there's going to be a scene
- 24:36Speaker 2: where there's a garage shale type thing happening, and I
- 24:39Speaker 2: believe that the kid in it in the blue shirt
- 24:43Speaker 2: is boner from growing pains. But I couldn't find a
- 24:47Speaker 2: credit for him. But I know in the eighties we
- 24:48Speaker 2: weren't so good about walking on parts getting full credit
- 24:52Speaker 2: in like the seventies and eighties, so I can't be sure.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I did a lot of screenshots.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I held up pictures, pictures on the wall with ring
- 25:00Speaker 4: going the other if it's not him then it's like
- 25:02Speaker 4: smoking cigarettes.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Oh boards, boner board, one of those.
- 25:10Speaker 2: It's called a boner board.
- 25:12Speaker 5: Yeah, you're really missing only murders, aren't you.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I was like, I was like, show me that's smile.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Slow it down and that could be used in a horm.
- 25:25Speaker 2: That's not growing pains, is it?
- 25:26Speaker 4: Show me that smile?
- 25:28Speaker 3: Drop it in my key.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you're crying.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Anyway, like one out of tune violin behind it.
- 25:43Speaker 4: The baby slowly cries in the background. Well nicely, we think, alike. Yes,
- 25:56Speaker 4: I love how Hannah keeps coming in looking at John
- 25:59Speaker 4: running away. She's because she and then he looks at her.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Like there's something going on.
- 26:03Speaker 4: Have a little moment.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Come here, kid, you need to go with mama because
- 26:07Speaker 3: you're going to go to the doctor.
- 26:08Speaker 4: He just scooped her up.
- 26:10Speaker 2: She comes in and she's like that guy's so tough.
- 26:15Speaker 3: You can see Karen over here, like with leash and
- 26:18Speaker 3: collar just.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Like and she's like, no, no, mom, no, Dad saved me.
- 26:25Speaker 5: He'll never take me alive.

- 27:10Speaker 3: Did you looks like we made it?
- 27:13Speaker 2: Welcome?
- 27:14Speaker 4: If you did it, you're doing it wrong.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Oh so stop go back.
- 27:20Speaker 3: You know what, You're a rebel and I do it better.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, but you won't be ready for the quiz.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I mean, rebel's got to be used to stuff like that.
- 27:29Speaker 4: I'm a loner, daddy, that's right, rebel.
- 27:31Speaker 2: He's a rebel and he'll never ever be any good.
- 27:35Speaker 5: She's gonna lick that windscreen.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Oh now, she's what are you doing spreading it around?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Yeah, spit didn't spread it, wiping the spit off.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't mean to touch tongues with my micro
- 27:50Speaker 2: that's I.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Think that's the tagline of the podcast. Okay, I didn't
- 27:55Speaker 3: mean to touch tongues with the microphone, but it just happened.
- 27:58Speaker 2: It just had to.
- 27:59Speaker 3: It's on the one I on the Luni.
- 28:00Speaker 4: It just happens.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Touch tongues with the microphone on the Lanni.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Season one, episode twenty three, just happened. I want to
- 28:10Speaker 2: say the Golden Girls writers are pretty good at really
- 28:15Speaker 2: getting a good title. Blind Ambition just really let us
- 28:20Speaker 2: know right off the bat there was probably gonna be
- 28:22Speaker 2: some insensitivity to blind people.
- 28:26Speaker 5: I didn't pick up on that from the title at all,
- 28:30Speaker 5: but okay I didn't. I wasn't expecting it.
- 28:34Speaker 2: No, I mean they were very sensitive, I think to
- 28:37Speaker 2: her when they're running around the house moving all those
- 28:41Speaker 2: boxes and stuff. Yeah, it's just it's interesting to see
- 28:47Speaker 2: just through the eighties magnifying glass, different issues and how
- 28:51Speaker 2: they're addressed. And I used to think it was weird
- 28:54Speaker 2: on Little Hoss on the Prairie when they would talk
- 28:55Speaker 2: about the blind school, but like literally that's what it's called.
- 28:59Speaker 4: And so all like school for the blind.
- 29:01Speaker 2: But when yeah, it is and and but little All's
- 29:05Speaker 2: on the prairie. In both the books and the the series,
- 29:09Speaker 2: Mary opens blind school and then like teaches, you know,
- 29:14Speaker 2: blind people how to live. And so in my head
- 29:17Speaker 2: like Mary Angels and her husband were like running the
- 29:21Speaker 2: blind school that Lily was at.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Live.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Should we play again? Yeah, I'll play a little quick,
- 29:34Speaker 2: little quiz game.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Your name is your buzzer? John?
- 29:36Speaker 3: Okay?
- 29:38Speaker 2: Yes, and I will be watching you but also reading questions.
- 29:44Speaker 2: So question one, what do they call cooking meat over
- 29:49Speaker 2: an open fire? In Sicily? Kristin Kay, first point, Kristen,
- 29:59Speaker 2: proud you. What were the names of the Darcy brothers?
- 30:03Speaker 3: John? Yes, Hank, Bowt and Dove yep?
- 30:08Speaker 4: Am, I ass kicked. I can feel it.
- 30:10Speaker 2: This one has a second part, sick, a second part
- 30:15Speaker 2: that I point the second pot I didn't yet say.
- 30:20Speaker 2: I'm just picking random accents. What did the Darcy brothers.
- 30:24Speaker 5: Fight over, Kristen, Yes, licking the barbecue Atlanta's fingertip and
- 30:30Speaker 5: kissing the butter that dripped down her chin.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, kiss his butter off of chin.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I don't know who eats like that when they're a
- 30:40Speaker 2: Southern genteel lady ate in her room, so she did
- 30:45Speaker 2: eat it at the barbecue.
- 30:47Speaker 5: But then the barbecue.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but like not were she had food dripping
- 30:52Speaker 2: down her face and men had to kiss it off.
- 30:55Speaker 4: I guess I just don't get that kink. I don't
- 30:57Speaker 4: want to lick food off you will.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Yes, it was strategic be like, oh no thists running
- 31:04Speaker 3: down my face? Yeah? Want some big strong man come
- 31:09Speaker 3: lick this food off my face. I've got a very
- 31:13Speaker 3: wide tongue.
- 31:18Speaker 4: My heroo.
- 31:22Speaker 3: There you go, a little lady all in one lick. Thanks?
- 31:27Speaker 3: And and there.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Did Rose's father take the family camping?
- 31:34Speaker 5: CHRISTI the woods, just beyond the barn, Just.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Be on the barn. I'm curious about the fog horned
- 31:42Speaker 2: leghorns sound that came out of John Frank. Were you
- 31:44Speaker 2: trying to answer or were you continuing with your old
- 31:47Speaker 2: tybee southern pork nos dos?
- 31:51Speaker 4: A little bit of that's fair, I'll say, I'll say,
- 31:56Speaker 4: just be on the ball.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I'll say it just on the bond with chicken chicken hop.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, how long has it been since Lily
- 32:05Speaker 2: lost her eyesight?
- 32:07Speaker 3: John? Six months? Yeah?
- 32:10Speaker 2: Six months?
- 32:11Speaker 4: You guys are just triggering?
- 32:13Speaker 2: Was this episode triggering for you? Because we'll get to
- 32:17Speaker 2: that hold on.
- 32:21Speaker 3: It happened six months since I have lost my sight,
- 32:24Speaker 3: so yes, highly triggering.
- 32:26Speaker 2: As a color blind person. When she was talking about
- 32:29Speaker 2: her dress, I was like, John probably feels that way
- 32:31Speaker 2: about that.
- 32:31Speaker 4: I don't think John ever had color vision, right, So
- 32:34Speaker 4: it's not like you can miss it, right.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true, it is. It is just certain shades.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Of unless it's like a fomo thing. Did you do
- 32:42Speaker 4: have those color correcting shades?
- 32:44Speaker 3: I do?
- 32:44Speaker 2: I have them, and I where the guy could see
- 32:48Speaker 2: in color for the first time and like fell in
- 32:51Speaker 2: love with the lady that got the glasses.
- 32:53Speaker 4: Fine, I bet it would make cry because color is
- 32:55Speaker 4: not beautiful. It's okay, did it make you emotional?
- 33:00Speaker 3: It? It knocked me for a loop. Honestly, what we
- 33:03Speaker 3: did when I tried them on for the first time
- 33:05Speaker 3: is we went out to Balboa Park here in San
- 33:07Speaker 3: Diego in a giant like wild flower section, and I
- 33:12Speaker 3: tried them on for the first time to just see
- 33:14Speaker 3: all the varieties of colors. And the reaction that I
- 33:18Speaker 3: had when I first put them on was like, what
- 33:20Speaker 3: the what? What it was? What's happening to my brains?
- 33:25Speaker 3: Like it wasn't It wasn't an emotional thing. For me,
- 33:28Speaker 3: it was just sort of like, what the heck? How
- 33:30Speaker 3: is this happening? In my eyes?
- 33:32Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 33:33Speaker 3: You know, after a while I got kind of acclimated
- 33:35Speaker 3: to it. So now I know that for me at least,
- 33:37Speaker 3: it just makes the red anything shit with a little
- 33:40Speaker 3: bit of red and it just sort of explodes through
- 33:43Speaker 3: when I'm wearing those.
- 33:44Speaker 4: So appreciate purple for all its majesty.
- 33:48Speaker 2: This is true. Don't go to like a crime scene
- 33:51Speaker 2: in those matters.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I got to change my plans related today.
- 33:59Speaker 4: What's all this motor oil coming out of person?
- 34:01Speaker 3: That's so weird?
- 34:03Speaker 2: All right, let's move on the next question here. What
- 34:06Speaker 2: is Lily cooking on the stove and what happened to it?
- 34:13Speaker 4: I think, Oh, did John get in there? Oh?
- 34:17Speaker 2: John, I don't know.
- 34:18Speaker 3: I'll leave it to the judges. Yeah, give.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Okay, John?
- 34:24Speaker 3: All right? She was cooking bacon and it caught on fire, yeah, massively, yes,
- 34:30Speaker 3: and left no scorch marks.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:33Speaker 3: I was.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I was laughing at the prop person because when that scene,
- 34:37Speaker 2: As as our listeners know, I watched the show like
- 34:40Speaker 2: two three times to write the quiz, and I'm I'm
- 34:46Speaker 2: watching the scene the first time through, I don't make
- 34:49Speaker 2: any notes or anything. I just watched the show as
- 34:51Speaker 2: is the first time too, and then I go through it,
- 34:53Speaker 2: I make notes and write down things. And so the
- 34:56Speaker 2: first time I was like, Oh, that's weird. They must
- 34:58Speaker 2: be trying to show that she's blind and that's why
- 35:00Speaker 2: that little piece of bacon is hanging off the edge
- 35:02Speaker 2: of the pan because she's blind and she's pretty self sufficient,
- 35:05Speaker 2: but she's not that self sufficient. And then when the
- 35:10Speaker 2: I don't know, the fires of more door happened in
- 35:13Speaker 2: that tiny pan in scene, I was like, Oh, that
- 35:16Speaker 2: bacon's hang over the edge because the burner fed into
- 35:21Speaker 2: whatever accelerant was in the pan to make that go up.
- 35:24Speaker 2: That's why that was there. Initially, I was like, well,
- 35:29Speaker 2: they had to have something like actual, like really flammable
- 35:33Speaker 2: alcohol or something in there, because it was just too
- 35:37Speaker 2: It wasn't a grease and they didn't use a grease
- 35:40Speaker 2: fire extinguisher on it either.
- 35:43Speaker 4: Just a regular fire extinction. Ye, you're to use baking.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Grease up. You just cover it up.
- 35:53Speaker 5: We have a fire blanket in my kitchen.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Yep.
- 35:57Speaker 4: My dad started wearing fire on one and we all
- 36:00Speaker 4: to go, Dad, you don't do it her grace far
- 36:03Speaker 4: we all knew except him. Lord, God damn it, you
- 36:07Speaker 4: didn't see all the essays.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Okay, next question, moving on from household safety in the eighties,
- 36:16Speaker 2: What does Lily ask Rose? What does she ask Grows?
- 36:25Speaker 2: What is when? What was the purpose of Lily John visit?
- 36:30Speaker 3: Yes? Uh, come come back to Rose, come back to
- 36:34Speaker 3: Chicago with me? Yes?
- 36:35Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, perfect, cool, cool, Moving on. This is the
- 36:42Speaker 2: question that I probably should have waited for the color
- 36:44Speaker 2: Blind story with. But why is that dress Lily's favorite dress?
- 36:51Speaker 5: Just, Sir Kristen, because it's the one that she can
- 36:55Speaker 5: remember what it looks like and what she looks like
- 36:58Speaker 5: in it.
- 36:59Speaker 2: All right, point Kristin? Moving on. Tied game. By the way,
- 37:02Speaker 2: John and Kristin four points each. I think according to.
- 37:05Speaker 4: My tally lowest score, I'm winning golf.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Okay. Who was Andrew beand Off?
- 37:18Speaker 5: Kristin? Yes, it was the riveter that Blanche now, yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 5: that George accused.
- 37:27Speaker 3: I won't go too far.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Yea trouble Now that was.
- 37:31Speaker 2: One off on Andrew Beandoff. It was a very short conversation,
- 37:36Speaker 2: so I didn't make the whole thing about it. We'll
- 37:38Speaker 2: move on. What Elvis mementoes? Is Blanche selling at the
- 37:44Speaker 2: garage sale?
- 37:45Speaker 4: Gina?
- 37:47Speaker 2: I think John said his name three times before I
- 37:49Speaker 2: had even finished wait till.
- 37:51Speaker 3: I'm sorry about that. Go ahead, he there were salt
- 37:58Speaker 3: pepper shakers.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Yeah, shakey, chakeake.
- 38:03Speaker 2: This is not the only time we'll deal with Elvis,
- 38:05Speaker 2: and the next time, one of the next times is
- 38:08Speaker 2: my favorite, one of my favorite episodes in the world.
- 38:13Speaker 2: What is Rose's teddy bear's name?
- 38:16Speaker 4: Gina? Gina was first, it was mister Longfellow.
- 38:23Speaker 2: It was, it was, And I saw you all make
- 38:27Speaker 2: a terrible face at me when she voiced mister Longfellow.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Just like all Labby, I don't know what you're talking about.
- 38:38Speaker 5: I started referring to that voice as Abby Aaron, because
- 38:41Speaker 5: it's an extension.
- 38:42Speaker 2: The difference is that Rose talked to her teddy bear,
- 38:46Speaker 2: and I'm voicing a small dog that has become a
- 38:51Speaker 2: local celeb amongst.
- 38:52Speaker 4: My Abby's voice. You're not doing anything.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Right, it's just here, right answer, shut up? Yeah, yeah,
- 39:02Speaker 2: it's fine, it's fine. Right, that's that's fine. This next question,
- 39:09Speaker 2: there's two possible correct answers. Either one will get you
- 39:13Speaker 2: the point. How much is the hockey stick Gina, Yes, eleven, Yes,
- 39:23Speaker 2: that's the Dorothy one. M anyone else wants chance.
- 39:27Speaker 3: At a point for the yes negative twenty five dollars.
- 39:33Speaker 4: It's also correct. I don't think that's the one she
- 39:37Speaker 4: was looking for, though, but.
- 39:39Speaker 3: It is correct. It was on the end of that
- 39:42Speaker 3: interaction and that transaction.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Take that quiz master, Yeah.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Dunking on the quiz, give you the point.
- 39:51Speaker 2: But the other thing was four dollars. Oh yeah, yeah, okay,
- 39:56Speaker 2: all right. What airline does Row fly, Kristen Florida Air?
- 40:07Speaker 2: Yeah it was Air Florida.
- 40:09Speaker 7: But yeah, that's not real, right, I mean I don't
- 40:13Speaker 7: fly often.
- 40:14Speaker 4: I've never heard of that one, okay, and by often,
- 40:21Speaker 4: I mean I have flown. I just hate it.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Who does Lily bring to the airport with John?
- 40:29Speaker 3: Yes, John, Becky the service dog.
- 40:32Speaker 2: That is true, Becky the service done. And this is
- 40:36Speaker 2: the final question for this episode, and this one is special.
- 40:41Speaker 2: What step is the wad of gum on at the airport?
- 40:45Speaker 3: John? Forty first? Yep?
- 40:50Speaker 4: Oh shit, I thought it was twenty first.
- 40:52Speaker 2: I had it wrong anyway, forty nine steps to the exit.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Forty first step the gum gum yep?
- 41:01Speaker 3: John.
- 41:01Speaker 4: One congratulation came on here.
- 41:07Speaker 2: Kristen's brain broke on that last question. She was so
- 41:10Speaker 2: excited that she knew the answer, she forgot to say
- 41:13Speaker 2: your name. I watched you your face answered your face
- 41:17Speaker 2: ringing first before your mouth like had yeah, had not
- 41:22Speaker 2: caught up, she went, she.
- 41:25Speaker 4: Don't have to be fast and pub trivia.
- 41:27Speaker 3: It's all my video game training.
- 41:31Speaker 2: That fall. I feel like we did you at disservice
- 41:35Speaker 2: at the beginning. We didn't really talk about you too
- 41:37Speaker 2: much or what you were doing. So I'm gonna half
- 41:40Speaker 2: ask this villain thing, and then I want you to
- 41:42Speaker 2: tell our listeners a little bit more about you where
- 41:45Speaker 2: they can check you out on the Fink Show. Alright,
- 41:48Speaker 2: and your your newsy gig and all that stuff trivia
- 41:51Speaker 2: to oh yeah, yeah yeah, and you have trivia.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:56Speaker 2: But let's get this villain over with because it was yeah,
- 42:01Speaker 2: So we picked Rose first of all. I just want
- 42:04Speaker 2: to also shout out to Sophia for dropping my man
- 42:08Speaker 2: Benson's name. There was a Benson joke in that girl. Okay, No,
- 42:18Speaker 2: So Rose is the villain first of all. She doesn't
- 42:20Speaker 2: think her sister can do anything. When she arrives, she
- 42:22Speaker 2: won't let it pour any fucking drinks. Now, I will
- 42:25Speaker 2: tell you, as a slight germophobe about certain things, I
- 42:28Speaker 2: wouldn't let a blind person pour my drink because how
- 42:31Speaker 2: they know if they're filling to the top of the
- 42:33Speaker 2: cup is they put their finger at the top of
- 42:35Speaker 2: the cup. And I would just want proof of clean
- 42:38Speaker 2: hands before that. But otherwise, let me get split. I
- 42:44Speaker 2: don't I don't want you to do that. And then
- 42:46Speaker 2: then she's really close minded about the whole, like ideas
- 42:51Speaker 2: and advice from her friends. And I can't even imagine
- 42:54Speaker 2: what that would be like to be a person that
- 42:56Speaker 2: couldn't listen to your friends and like get feedback from them.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I mean everyone does that right anyway. And then.
- 43:08Speaker 4: His eyes went, so.
- 43:11Speaker 3: This is this weird rumbling on my house? All this
- 43:13Speaker 3: subtext ran was shaking me around.
- 43:19Speaker 4: That's an earthquake.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Oh sorry. She won't even.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Get her sister a glass of fucking water. When she
- 43:25Speaker 2: asks her, she's like, no, you get it. You've been
- 43:27Speaker 2: here a week. You know where the sink is. Dick,
- 43:32Speaker 2: here's the hose, that's right, yeah, put the lotion.
- 43:36Speaker 3: On, good dunky, dunk your head in the pool.
- 43:42Speaker 4: Pool. Get your own garter water.
- 43:46Speaker 7: Cut and.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Go to the kitchen. Mister Longfellow said, no, get your
- 43:54Speaker 2: own water.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Stop being such a free loaders.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Rose doesn't do well with change, So anything like this
- 44:02Speaker 2: that involves change, and anything that involves someone else having
- 44:06Speaker 2: to like have an opinion about that change shuts Rose down.
- 44:10Speaker 2: That is her character flaw. We have seen it time
- 44:13Speaker 2: and time again. Not to mention, she's almost always the
- 44:16Speaker 2: first one to like slut shame or be.
- 44:19Speaker 7: Prudish about sex thing. So fucking Rose, but also, I
- 44:22Speaker 7: love you carefully. You're coming after Kristen's girl. Surprisely, she
- 44:28Speaker 7: hasn't spoken up defending her yet.
- 44:30Speaker 4: You weren't because I don't want.
- 44:31Speaker 5: To get in trouble.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Last week she fucking like started defending Rose, and I
- 44:35Speaker 2: was like, you know, you're not her, right, Like, it's fine.
- 44:38Speaker 4: I think it's adorable.
- 44:39Speaker 2: She sticks up for a Rose I don't even stand
- 44:43Speaker 2: up for Dorothy Tho. All all right, that's my story.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Good story.
- 44:48Speaker 4: Trivia's a little bit of trivia trivia. The actress who
- 44:52Speaker 4: played Rose's sister is Polly Holiday. She worked on the
- 44:58Speaker 4: show Alice.
- 45:00Speaker 8: Mm hmm, and I don't know if you notice she
- 45:02Speaker 8: speaks with kind of a Southern accent despite her character
- 45:06Speaker 8: being from Minnesota and living in Chicago.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Well, she's really from the isn't she from like Virginia
- 45:15Speaker 2: somewhere in real life?
- 45:16Speaker 4: Yeah, but it didn't make me feel because they're sisters.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:22Speaker 4: And also Rose's teddy as we learned in the quiz
- 45:25Speaker 4: as mister Longfellow, and that's her prize teddy Bear, but
- 45:29Speaker 4: it will soon change to another teddy bear named Fernando.
- 45:34Speaker 4: So Rose is just flip flopping and has multiple teddy Bears.
- 45:38Speaker 2: She loves she.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Does you hear the drums? Fernando?
- 45:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Fernando, here's the little Girl? Isn't that that? Isn't
- 45:48Speaker 2: that the episode where the little girl has Fernando?
- 45:50Speaker 4: Yeah, which is fantasm.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Sometimes life isn't fair, kiddo, Right, yeah, yeah, it's that one.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Ok.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Yeah, spoiler. Rose will be the villain whether you pick
- 45:59Speaker 2: her not in that episode. A fucking nightmare anyway. Oh,
- 46:05Speaker 2: Christy made a face everybody, I picked too hard on
- 46:09Speaker 2: the delightful Rose.
- 46:10Speaker 5: Oh you're fine. I just I do have to mention. Yes,
- 46:14Speaker 5: the drinking the water thing, she was trying to teach
- 46:17Speaker 5: her to be self sufficient.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Yes, at the urging of the other girl.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Yes, so she wasn't you know, the villain there. She
- 46:24Speaker 5: was doing what was best for her sister.
- 46:27Speaker 2: What you're saying is, if someone had been staying with
- 46:30Speaker 2: you for two and a half weeks it was of
- 46:33Speaker 2: able mind, body and vision that they shouldn't have made
- 46:38Speaker 2: you be the person to wake up and make the
- 46:41Speaker 2: coffee every morning. Is that what you're saying.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Oh no, my house is shaken again.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Oh my god, it's just strictly hypothetical.
- 46:49Speaker 5: You need a master's degree to work this woman's coffee.
- 46:53Speaker 4: Really, you can't. You can't pre stelle alarm.
- 46:56Speaker 2: And you hit through grind, it goes. It's not hard
- 47:00Speaker 2: at all.
- 47:00Speaker 4: Is it like a ca cup or what is it?
- 47:02Speaker 2: No, it's a it's a.
- 47:05Speaker 5: Like a grinder, coffee maker, all in one.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Put the whole beans up top, it grinds, dumps them
- 47:11Speaker 2: into the basket breus of coffee. You just put everything
- 47:15Speaker 2: up top and you put a fresh, empty filter in
- 47:17Speaker 2: the basket.
- 47:18Speaker 3: And it's just it's just weird because part way three
- 47:19Speaker 3: you have to solve a golden girl's quiz.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Weird. Yeah, yeah, it's so fuck you guys.
- 47:28Speaker 4: And coffee.
- 47:29Speaker 2: I don't mind making her coffee at all. But I
- 47:32Speaker 2: will say like the day before she went home, we
- 47:34Speaker 2: were talking to Jeremy and I said she He said
- 47:38Speaker 2: something like, you can't wait for her to come home
- 47:40Speaker 2: or whatever, and I said, yeah, wait till you have
- 47:43Speaker 2: to start making her coffee again or something like that.
- 47:46Speaker 2: And she went, I would have made coffee. You didn't
- 47:48Speaker 2: say anything, and I was like, yeah, okay, so I'm
- 47:54Speaker 2: not really mad about it. It's just a fun thing
- 47:56Speaker 2: to pick on her.
- 47:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 47:59Speaker 2: I had to make Jody coffee the whole time she
- 48:01Speaker 2: was here too. No one when you have a house guest,
- 48:04Speaker 2: it's very different than like the self sufficient person that
- 48:08Speaker 2: would be like at like a hotel or whatever.
- 48:11Speaker 4: Well, you don't want to overstep your bounds.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Yeah, my mom and dad have the same coffee maker
- 48:15Speaker 2: I have, but if they're at my house for coffee,
- 48:18Speaker 2: they expect me to put it on because it's my house.
- 48:21Speaker 2: So I'm just teasing.
- 48:24Speaker 4: I don't want to piss someone off. I'll go in
- 48:26Speaker 4: and start using their gadgets.
- 48:27Speaker 5: Like I just had Vight Energy drinks for when I
- 48:31Speaker 5: woke up and then hours later when Aaron rolled out
- 48:34Speaker 5: of bed.
- 48:36Speaker 4: They have v eight Energy drinks.
- 48:38Speaker 3: They do.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to say the Shade Hours leader rows
- 48:43Speaker 2: on like.
- 48:45Speaker 4: Four o'clock in the morning.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. And also that's a lie I've been I've
- 48:51Speaker 2: seen behind the curtain. Now it's a wizard of O
- 48:56Speaker 2: fill the tea.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Welcome to AOLNI group there.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah, there were a lot of mornings that early riser
- 49:04Speaker 2: here rolled out a bed much closer to seven or
- 49:07Speaker 2: eight because she was like, I couldn't. I just didn't
- 49:09Speaker 2: want to.
- 49:09Speaker 5: Get after you put me up till like ten or
- 49:13Speaker 5: eleven at night.
- 49:14Speaker 2: Harry, Oh, I'm sorry. You had to be an adult
- 49:18Speaker 2: and be awake past like street lights coming on.
- 49:21Speaker 3: Okay, that's when I have to step in on this
- 49:23Speaker 3: because I I am in bed by seven pm.
- 49:29Speaker 4: You made news.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you're news.
- 49:32Speaker 4: And she likes to get up and read so what
- 49:35Speaker 4: my friend.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Wesley's on the news. So she goes to bed at
- 49:38Speaker 2: like six or seven. We have to do it. That's
- 49:40Speaker 2: the difference. I'm just saying. She wasn't out here at
- 49:43Speaker 2: like five am every morning working on weekend.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Kristen b. She likes her old lady hour. She's a millwalker, my.
- 49:50Speaker 2: God, not a mall walker. And she also pretends that's
- 49:55Speaker 2: the thing. She has you all snowed, and none of
- 49:58Speaker 2: you know it.
- 49:59Speaker 3: What the ship?
- 50:00Speaker 2: She's not even the nicest one out of the two
- 50:02Speaker 2: of us.
- 50:05Speaker 3: Holy, that's definitely something the nicest one would say too.
- 50:09Speaker 4: I'm so you're saying in private, she was just talking
- 50:12Speaker 4: mad shit.
- 50:13Speaker 3: Wow, this is getting so scandalous, Kristin.
- 50:17Speaker 4: Would you like to defend yourself?
- 50:18Speaker 5: Yes, I'm a perfectly delightful person who loves everybody. So
- 50:23Speaker 5: I don't know what she's talking about.
- 50:25Speaker 2: She made me ride the dollar store version of the
- 50:27Speaker 2: Madder Hornet at Enchanted Forest.
- 50:30Speaker 5: I absolutely did. It was so fun.
- 50:32Speaker 2: No, it wasn't.
- 50:33Speaker 4: That doesn't make her mean she wanted to go on
- 50:35Speaker 4: a ride.
- 50:36Speaker 3: What's happening here?
- 50:37Speaker 5: I would have gone by myself.
- 50:39Speaker 2: You wouldn't. You forced me to ride. You bought two tickets.
- 50:41Speaker 2: You're actively lying on air right now.
- 50:44Speaker 5: I bought tickets.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Wow.
- 50:45Speaker 5: You could have said no. I would have honored your no.
- 50:48Speaker 5: You said, if you want to go on it, I'll
- 50:50Speaker 5: go with you.
- 50:51Speaker 4: Okay, Sean, I'm sorry you had to be part of this,
- 50:54Speaker 4: oh by.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Not really fighting?
- 50:57Speaker 3: Fine?
- 50:57Speaker 2: Oh sure, yeah, fine. I was peer pressured into riding
- 51:03Speaker 2: a ride that almost shook my teeth out. John, you
- 51:06Speaker 2: wouldn't have fit in the right John would not have
- 51:08Speaker 2: fit in the ride. I barely might have. The footwell
- 51:13Speaker 2: was long enough. Well, but I think you would have
- 51:16Speaker 2: smacked your head around on the on the plexicas. I
- 51:19Speaker 2: did well.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Everybody did well.
- 51:22Speaker 3: I definitely used being too tall as an excuse to
- 51:24Speaker 3: get out of doing stuff all the time. I can't
- 51:27Speaker 3: take the trash out. I'm too tall.
- 51:28Speaker 4: I can't help you move. I'm just too tad.
- 51:30Speaker 3: I'm just too tall too.
- 51:33Speaker 4: I can't do jury. Dude him, I'm too tall.
- 51:36Speaker 3: You know what I swear to you. I was with
- 51:42Speaker 3: they were going to ask me to be part of
- 51:44Speaker 3: a jury. I'll be like, I don't know, can I
- 51:46Speaker 3: sit in these goddamn seats?
- 51:48Speaker 4: That's fair. Yeah, for the listener, John's six' ten and.
- 51:52Speaker 2: What do you?
- 51:52Speaker 4: Wear twenty?
- 51:53Speaker 3: One shoe twenty?
- 51:54Speaker 4: One, yeah it's not easy.
- 51:56Speaker 2: For him to. Find it's Like Lebron lebron Or shack
- 51:59Speaker 2: or someone has the same size foot, Ash isn't that? True?
- 52:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah well, no, Actually shack has a larger shoe
- 52:07Speaker 3: size THAN i do at. Least but once upon a,
- 52:10Speaker 3: time WHEN i was in high, school And shaq was
- 52:13Speaker 3: in college and this was pre. Internet we wore the same.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Size we both wore twenty, shoes that's. Right and so
- 52:22Speaker 3: this was back in the day WHEN i was getting
- 52:24Speaker 3: sick of wearing basketball shoes to the beach and new
- 52:28Speaker 3: basketball shoes to formals and also basketball. Shoes and SO
- 52:34Speaker 3: i found this company after going to the library to
- 52:37Speaker 3: Get Yellow, Pages Library, sports your local library. Kids and
- 52:43Speaker 3: SO i found eventually this, Company friedman's In, atlanta that
- 52:46Speaker 3: sent me a catalog that goes up to size twenty.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Four AND i was, like oh, Good i'll finally have

- 53:11Speaker 3: also wears a, twenty and he orders half a dozen
- 53:14Speaker 3: pairs at a time and then just returns the ones
- 53:16Speaker 3: he doesn't. Like so from now, on when that, happens
- 53:20Speaker 3: we'll just call you. Nice and so you will get

- 53:35Speaker 3: BEACH i have a flip flop, now BUT i will
- 53:38Speaker 3: tell you don't look too close because my toes are
- 53:40Speaker 3: hanging over the.

- 54:12Speaker 3: quaddy so it's trying to fit into a shoe with you.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Know Sometimes IDAs will have those cloth tops and they'll
- 54:19Speaker 3: stretch a little. Bit, so, yeah this is my.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Life you're saying a lot of. FOOTWORDS i don't. Understand
- 54:26Speaker 2: as eight and a half or nine, LADIES i don't
- 54:31Speaker 2: understand what Most.
- 54:31Speaker 4: OH i have a wine that's just one four.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Word, yes.
- 54:39Speaker 4: A.
- 54:39Speaker 3: Wide, yes this is.
- 54:41Speaker 4: True he needs a really.
- 54:43Speaker 3: Wide and so What i've taken to doing now IS
- 54:45Speaker 3: i found a company that does shoes for people with,
- 54:49Speaker 3: diabetes and so they have expanded. Diabetes i'm so. Sorry,
- 54:55Speaker 3: yeah so people that get foot, swelling it can accommodate their,
