- 0:23Speaker 1: I know, but who cares? Sorry. What? I don't know
- 0:28if you hear that.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I don't know if you hear you-know-who in the background.
- 0:33Speaker 1: You-know-who?
- 0:36Speaker 2: Caitlin's in here.
- 0:38Speaker 1: She's guesting.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Sort of. She's more of just like a patron that
- 0:41sits in the corner. While we talk.
- 0:43Speaker 1: That sounds like I'm cuckolding.
- 0:46Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 0:48Speaker 1: You wish. You wish.
- 0:51Speaker 2: You wish you can cuckold this.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I don't like this already. Let's restart.
- 0:58Speaker 2: This is a weird intro.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I'm going to re-enter the chat.
- 1:05Speaker 2: That's the only way it happens is if you actually
- 1:07exit out and then come back.
- 1:08Speaker 1: I know. I'm debating. No. Don't hurt me.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Oh, she would kick my ass. Don't worry.
- 1:16Speaker 1: And she's fast, too. She's so fast.
- 1:19Speaker 2: She's fast as fuck, boy. I mean, not like she's run, like,
- 1:23you know, four marathons and about to run a fifth
- 1:26and a sixth here shortly.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I'm your favorite host. Barbara, remember how you want to
- 1:32call me Chuck.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Welcome to Chuck's Cantina. Chuck's Cantina on your socials. Chuck's

- 1:48Speaker 2: Thank you. Okay. I was trying to think about that.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Do you know what's crazy?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Really quick.
- 1:56Speaker 2: I know there's still a round, but like, how do
- 2:04I put this? I just remember growing up as a kid, and, like,
- 2:07obviously because of the things you and I watch, you
- 2:09would have thought that, like, oh, man, this is, like,
- 2:10the next big fucking band. And after 2001, it just, like, died.
- 2:13Speaker 1: But now they're doing shit.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Dude, Metallica's doing another stadium tour, and they're opening for them.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Limp Bizkit is opening for Metallica.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I hear on the radio, I don't know if it's
- 2:27the Chicago one, but apparently they're opening for... now they got.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Some they got some heavy riffs i can.
- 2:33Speaker 2: They do but like if you know like limp biscuits
- 2:36like majority of their songs like that's a weird that's
- 2:39a weird.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Opener yeah the crossover is not really there yeah but
- 2:43nowadays like who gives a shit they're both old as
- 2:47hell bands men with gray beards talking about they got
- 2:52a chainsaw.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I know your birthday is tomorrow, but, you know, isn't
- 2:57it crazy that we're just sitting here talking and we're
- 2:59saying Limp Bizkit is old?
- 3:02Speaker 1: No, shut up. Fuck you. I'm leaving. 33. Yeah, man.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Welcome to Club 33. Wait, what is that? Trink to trace?
- 3:13Did I say that right? I don't know if I
- 3:14said that right.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Trink to trace?
- 3:16Speaker 2: Trink to trace? Yeah, I think that's right.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I don't know if you put the Y in there
- 3:20for the and, but who gives a shit? No, you don't. Treintitres.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Treintitres.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Veinticinco. No. Veinticinco cuatro ocho.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Hey, Bruno, we're not supposed to talk about you, but
- 3:36just because we are, what are you drinking?
- 3:40Speaker 1: So, I'm polishing off a mango lemonade Celsius. Jesus. And
- 3:45I'm pairing that with a little Woodford Reserve. Ooh. Because
- 3:49it's my barf day and I don't give a fuck. Right,
- 3:51so I guess I don't give a.
- 3:54Speaker 2: I don't give a.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I don't give a.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I don't give a.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I couldn't be asked. Couldn't bloody be asked.
- 4:03Speaker 2: You know?
- 4:04Speaker 1: Are you taking a piss?
- 4:06Speaker 3: Sorry, no.
- 4:06Speaker 2: I'm drinking a crisp DC.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Crisp death, yeah.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Oh, no, it is.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And you know what? Today, Chuck, was a good fucking day. Yes,
- 4:15it was.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Why was that?
- 4:16Speaker 1: It was such a good day, bro.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Was it like Ice Cube it was a good day?
- 4:20Speaker 1: It was a good day.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It's a great song.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Sorry, I can take it. It was a good day.
- 4:23Ain't nobody gonna lie tonight. I think that's a different song. No,
- 4:30but dude, it started off super duper strong. What a
- 4:32wild birthday. Super duper duper strong, and I'll tell you why. Because,
- 4:38praise the Lord, my wife finally got her work permit.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Oh, Mazel Tov. Nice.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Yeah, dude. And it was the dual thing where it's
- 4:50the work permit and the travel... I don't know. The
- 4:54allowance permit. Whatever the fuck.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I know what you're talking about.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So she can... Not only can she start looking for
- 4:59a job, which she's been dying to do, and she's
- 5:02got all these cool opportunities she keeps hearing about, and
- 5:05she's like, well, I guess I can't fucking do that.
- 5:07But now she has, you know, the ability to go travel.
- 5:13You know what I mean? Right. So she can... if
- 5:16she wanted to, and we had the money, she can
- 5:19go see her parents. You know what I mean? And
- 5:22that's the, that's the hard thing. Cause her parents are
- 5:25a lot older, you know, you know, um, well, you know,
- 5:32all jokes and fun times aside, her dad's dealing with,
- 5:36you know, some serious stuff and, uh, you know, and
- 5:40like we talked about going over there and having a
- 5:42wedding too. So all that's looking way more, feasible and possible.
- 5:47And it's just, it started off super duper strong. That's
- 5:51the day.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And that's a pretty good, that's a good way to
- 5:54start the day.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Waking up to that email.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Cheers. Clinkety clink. Um, shout outs to clickety clack. Oh,
- 6:06I drink whiskey like such a bitch, dude.
- 6:08Speaker 2: No, you do not. I'm like, I'm like clickety clack.
- 6:12I love him to death. He drinks whiskey like a bitch,
- 6:13but that's cause he doesn't drink whiskey. Although I'm jealous
- 6:16of it because he just came back from Mexico and
- 6:19every time he ate a taco, which is for like
- 6:22every meal, he would send me a picture with no context.
- 6:24And I'd be like, fuck you.
- 6:25Speaker 1: He's like, love you too. Dude, side tangent about tacos. Yeah.
- 6:29We've been watching a lot of, you know, video, like
- 6:32YouTube stuff about restaurants. There's this, I think it's a
- 6:36New York Times show called Mazin Platz or whatever the fuck.
- 6:40But basically it's like the term for preparing all the
- 6:43stuff before you cook it. And it's kind of like
- 6:47a behind-the-scenes thing about restaurants that, like, their preparation process
- 6:50for all the stuff. And we found out about this, like,
- 6:52authentic Mexican restaurant called Pascual's in the D.C. area. And
- 6:58so we're definitely going to go there. But they have this.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I hope they have Shagzilla about that. He's not too
- 7:02far from D.C.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Oh, dude, yeah. Maybe he's heard about it. But they
- 7:06do their al pastor tacos. It's, like, the only taco
- 7:09they have on the menu. But they do it, like,
- 7:12the style that you'd see, like, gyros being made, where
- 7:14they just stack the meat on this fucking pike, and
- 7:17then they rotate it. But they put, like, a little
- 7:19pineapple at the bottom and the top, and they lay
- 7:21the onions in there. And then they have a wood-fired
- 7:23grill where they're just, like, rotating this thing next to it.
- 7:27It looks so goddamn good. I talked about it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I think it was... I think, yeah, I think it
- 7:33was last, when we were in Virginia. It was a
- 7:37couple months ago.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Oh, dude, you weren't that far.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, no, and we were out there, and I forget.
- 7:43All right, now my dogs are going to start fighting.
- 7:48And we were, I think it was like our second
- 7:51or last night there. We went to this Mexican restaurant,
- 7:54and I got fish tacos. And like, cause the waiter
- 7:57like really was like, you should definitely try these. I'm like, okay,
- 7:59I'm down. And now I'm thinking like, it's gonna be like,
- 8:00you know, your shredded fish with like your, whatever seasonings
- 8:03you put on it. So I got two different types.
- 8:06I got the regular one. And then he said, you
- 8:07gotta try the special one. And they said with our
- 8:09special hot sauce.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm like, okay.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Well, I didn't ask. And also to clarify the menu.
- 8:16And remember, cause even drew was like, or Shagzilla rather
- 8:18was like, like, well, I didn't know it was that.
- 8:20Cause if he's like, if I would've known, I wouldn't
- 8:21gotten that too. And it's okay.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I let him have one.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Cause I'm not an asshole. i'm a fat fuck i'm
- 8:26not an asshole anyway so it literally was the shredded
- 8:30your basic regular shredded i'm not gonna say basic it
- 8:32was your shredded taco all that all the good stuff
- 8:34and the fixings on it but then the special one
- 8:36was literally a i'm gonna preface this it's the only
- 8:40way to describe it no i am not kanye allegedly
- 8:45i don't like fish sticks but it.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Was literally a fried fish stick Like a battered.
- 8:49Speaker 2: A battered whole fucking thing. Because all of a sudden,
- 8:52I'm looking at my plate. I'm like, why is there
- 8:54a giant fucking fish stick on my taco?
- 8:57Speaker 1: Oh, it's like a fish and chip style, like half
- 8:59a fish. Yep. And then you tear that up and
- 9:02put it on tortillas? 100%. Brother. Dude, and that.
- 9:06Speaker 2: When I tell you that shit tasted fresh as shit.
- 9:08Speaker 1: It was so good. And.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I, I remember when I gave, I gave Drew one,
- 9:13he gave me one of his. I remember when I
- 9:14gave him one, I was kind of like, Oh, I.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Wanted that one.
- 9:21Speaker 2: My name is Betty, but no, it was no, I,
- 9:25I dude. And here's the thing. Like speaking of shows,
- 9:28I forget what the name of a Bourdain show was.
- 9:32Speaker 1: No, uh, no reservation.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Thank you. And I still haven't seen Tony. I actually,
- 9:36it wasn't out that long, but I heard actually, it
- 9:37was pretty good.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Um, Was that Andrew Garfield playing him? No, no.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Garfield played whoever one of the AI guys is, I believe.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I might be mistaken.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I know he played like one of the– he's had
- 9:50like a bunch of movies come out recently.
- 9:51Speaker 1: But anyway, one of the– Yeah, Robert Pattinson too. He
- 9:54just keeps cranking them out. Oh, yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Pattinson just did the Chris Hansen thing.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I wonder what that's going to be like.
- 10:02Speaker 2: That's going to be a very interesting movie. But anyway, no,
- 10:06there's that... I forget the name of the.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Oh, it was Dominic Sessa. Whatever. I don't know. I
- 10:12never knew his name, but the same guy that did....
- 10:16Speaker 2: This is Garfield you're speaking of, correct?
- 10:18Speaker 1: No, for Tony.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Oh, Tony.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, I couldn't tell you.
- 10:21Speaker 2: I couldn't tell you.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Young Anthony Bourdain.
- 10:23Speaker 2: But I think it was literally Bourdain's, like, the best
- 10:26pizza he's ever had. It's, like, close to Chicago, but
- 10:29it's actually not that far from my house. I just
- 10:32haven't been there yet, and I'm like, I gotta go
- 10:33try that.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You gotta go, dude. What the fuck? I know. No,
- 10:36we gotta go.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I was gonna say. Because suppose what you said, it's, like,
- 10:40the best pizza he's ever had. Like, we're talking about Bourdain.
- 10:42Speaker 1: This is a weird tangent that we're on, but, like,
- 10:44speaking of places I gotta go... I keep seeing stuff
- 10:48about this sandwich place called Wario's in Columbus, Ohio. And, like, legitimately,
- 10:54last weekend, I contemplated driving, like, three and a half
- 10:56hours to go.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Dude, free will. Do it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Fuck it. Do it. Dude, I want to so bad.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Free will.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I will. Okay. Do it. I will. I don't know
- 11:05where he's at, but I'll break him up if I
- 11:07have to.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Free will sesso.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Dude, I keep seeing shit about this fucking sandwich, and
- 11:11I'm like. A semolina bread, a fucking cheesesteak. Looks fucking fine.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Anyway, that shit drives, and I told you, I got
- 11:19rid of that because they don't pay me. I got
- 11:21rid of that one double worded social app, you know,
- 11:24where it's like random videos up here every two seconds.
- 11:29Speaker 1: I used to hate. It wasn't even words. They were
- 11:31just sounds.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it's literally just sounds. Thank you.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Like, what are you, a clock?
- 11:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Get the fuck out of here.
- 11:36Speaker 2: If anything, it kind of rhymes with clickety clack. Probably
- 11:38the best way to say it. So he's going to
- 11:40hate I said it because he hates that app. um
- 11:43like reverse it no i i used to hate when
- 11:46you would be like scrolling and then like this amazing
- 11:49plate of food or like this awesome looking restaurant come
- 11:52up and it's like oh my god this looks so
- 11:53good where is it you know i'm in the outskirts
- 11:55of chicago illinois where is this place san jose california
- 11:59like when the fuck am i gonna be in san
- 12:01jose california i'll be in la california next year but
- 12:04when the fuck am i going to san jose or
- 12:06like i forget there was one where It was literally like,
- 12:09and I mean like in the outskirts of nowhere in Oklahoma.
- 12:12I've driven through Oklahoma. No, thank you.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Back up. You're going to L.A.?
- 12:18When are you going to L.A.
- 12:19Speaker 2: For, yeah, next spring for Star Wars Celebration.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Oh, sick, dude. Hell yeah. Is that Disney?
- 12:27Speaker 2: How do I explain this? It is and it isn't.
- 12:31It's Lucas' own thing.
- 12:33Speaker 1: They have their own amusement park? No, no, no, no.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Think of it like Comic-Con. oh well that's tight yeah
- 12:40so and they don't do it every year they only
- 12:44do it when they want to which makes it even
- 12:46cooler in my opinion um and it's also the 50th
- 12:50anniversary so fuck yeah yeah it's gonna be really interesting
- 12:55I'm very much looking forward to it and also like
- 12:57the Lucas Museum just opened up I think literally yesterday
- 13:01so if anything yeah it's gonna be a really interesting
- 13:04time um I'm really looking forward.
- 13:06Speaker 1: To that that's so fucking awesome It's nice to have
- 13:08big old travel plans.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I've never been to California.
- 13:12Speaker 1: California.
- 13:12Speaker 2: I'm really looking forward to it.
- 13:14Speaker 1: It's sick.
- 13:14Speaker 2: And it's in LA.
- 13:17Speaker 1: It's in the outskirts.
- 13:18Speaker 2: It's in the outskirts, but yes.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Obviously, the wife and I were just there not that
- 13:22long ago. Right. We were in the San Francisco area
- 13:25and drove north to see the Redwoods. That probably is...
- 13:30too far of a drive but if you can get
- 13:32out into like the woods and see some nature and
- 13:34shit I recommend it if you can.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Somehow oh oh believe me I have like 10 different
- 13:39drafts of plans in my phone which I mean I've
- 13:42used which I've used AI for like different things like okay.
- 13:45Speaker 1: What can we do with this use my guy yeah
- 13:49well also because here's the thing if I tell you
- 13:50what I'm gonna do right now I'm gonna forget about
- 13:52in 10 fucking minutes but if I write it down
- 13:53gotta write it down.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I gotta write it down or I have it manually
- 13:56typed out for me not manually automatically Jesus Thank you.
- 14:00Speaker 1: In a dictate.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Annotated.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Computer. Computer. Computer, activate Newt's app. Yes. But no, circling
- 14:12back around, why was the day good? The day was good.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Yes, I was going to say.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Because it started really good. It started great. Great drive.
- 14:20Done work. Smooth.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Oh, they're going to take a great drive to Ohio. Sorry.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Not during the week. That'd be insane.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Free will.
- 14:28Speaker 1: That'd be insane. Don't be completely ludicrous. The work was good.
- 14:36Started off strong. Kids are doing great. You know, making progress.
- 14:41Good sessions. Good collaboration with the team. Awesome. And, you know,
- 14:47we got in the weeds with the work permit thing.
- 14:52So I didn't make lunch. Didn't have lunch ready. So
- 14:55I went to my DoorDash and Which they're getting sued. Oh, fuck.
- 15:01I'm sorry.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Wait, why are they getting sued?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Apparently they were underpaying a bunch of people in New
- 15:06York City. I'm shocked. Mom Donnie was like, yeah, we
- 15:09figured out that they were underpaying everybody for like years
- 15:12and they have to pay out like over a million dollars. Allegedly. Allegedly.
- 15:18But I found this great like Nepali restaurant called Everest
- 15:23something or other. Shout out. Because I don't know if
- 15:26you know what momos are. no momos they're essentially dumplings
- 15:33but they're served in like a sauce typically um live
- 15:41on air but i got butter chicken momos and brother
- 15:47oh what fucking delicious so that was good They were
- 15:53fucking good, bro. I'm a sucker for a dumpling, but
- 15:55when you put butter chicken in the dumplings with the sauce.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it literally says butter chicken on this.
- 16:00Speaker 1: It's so fucking good, man. Anyway, so that was fucking solid.
- 16:05The rest of my day went well. Got home. I
- 16:09had ordered the wife this thing for her iPad because
- 16:13she's been doing a lot of art and drawing where
- 16:15it makes the iPad feel like you're drawing on paper,
- 16:17and it came with these different points for her.
- 16:21Fruit based tech company pen. Um, did I already say iPad? Fuck. Nevermind.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Um, no, that's fine.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It's a, it's a, you're fine. It's a thing. Not
- 16:30a place for people. I mean, they literally.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Use that word for kids who use it at the
- 16:34table and it couldn't even be that device.
- 16:36Speaker 1: So it's fine.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Children, uh, tablet children. Um, that sounds weird. It sounds
- 16:43not good. It's not something like the future is now
- 16:47and it's bad. Um, but then, you know, took, Sorry.
- 16:51Take the cake on the day I get to talk
- 16:55to my best friend about cool shit like the Wolverine game. Oh,
- 17:01you're going to bring that up?
- 17:03Speaker 2: I'm actually glad you brought that up because I got.
- 17:04Speaker 1: A reason to bring that up too. I have opinions.
- 17:06That's right.
- 17:07Speaker 2: You've played it, haven't you?
- 17:08Speaker 1: I haven't. I've played it. I'm about a third of
- 17:10the way through because it's not the longest game.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's not the longest game when you don't
- 17:17have to play because you always win no matter what
- 17:18and you don't die. Not because you're Wolverine, but just
- 17:21because they like to hold your hand.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Well, that's the thing, right? Like, are they holding your hand?
- 17:26Because you can die. You can get fucking murked, man.
- 17:30It's not like you can just not play it.
- 17:32Speaker 2: But how could you die when there's constant fart gas
- 17:36showing you where to go?
- 17:38Speaker 1: Right. But that's the thing. Here's the thing, right? I
- 17:40have thoughts on that. Yes. First of all... First of all... Okay.
- 17:46First of all... The people that were calling it fart gas...
- 17:50Probably didn't do what I did because all the accessibility
- 17:53options let you change the color indicators for a lot
- 17:56of things. So the fart gas, you can actually change
- 17:59the color of and you can make it green. And
- 18:02so when there is that trail of scent, you can
- 18:06literally make it look like somebody, Jean Grey let out
- 18:09a stinky and it's just wafting through. But here's the
- 18:13fucking thing, right?
- 18:14Speaker 2: Really quick, sorry. I didn't know that because all the
- 18:16memes have been the blue one. The blue one, the.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Default, right?
- 18:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:19Speaker 1: You can make it all kinds of colors.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I didn't know you could make it literal.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you can literally turn it green, and it's awesome.
- 18:27Here's the thing.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Here's the thing about that, that all the reviews are saying.
- 18:32They make it fucking seem like it is this constant
- 18:37fucking thing, right? That there is always this trail.
- 18:41Speaker 2: That's all I've heard.
- 18:42Speaker 1: And that is not the case whatsoever. The trail only
- 18:47appears when you are literally in story like kayfabe. Wolverine
- 18:53is fucking using his senses, his sense of smell to
- 18:57track someone's location. Okay. So it only appears during those moments, right?
- 19:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Every other time, you know, it's either there's nothing like
- 19:06that or like let's say there's these enemies called hunters, right?
- 19:09And they can turn invisible. And so the only way
- 19:12that you can fucking tell where they are is.
- 19:14Speaker 2: That you're literally... We got to sniff them out.
- 19:17Speaker 1: We're not even sniffing. It's his hearing at that point, right?
- 19:19Because you're hearing them crunch through the snow or walk
- 19:22on the metal flooring, right? And so it's literally like
- 19:25little blips of green in the shape of footprints as
- 19:28they're walking. And so you can see their path, right?
- 19:31Or like, again, like when you're sneaking through this place
- 19:34and you're trying to find the passkey for this keypad...
- 19:38You can literally smell where the fucking fingers have been, which, pause,
- 19:43that's a little whatever.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Speaking of fart.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You can literally see like, the traces of the keypad, the, fuck. Sorry. No,
- 19:53it's fine.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Jesus Christ. Where have those fingers been?
- 19:57Speaker 1: And you pull someone's feet. No.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Pull their finger.
- 20:00Speaker 1: But, like, it's not a constant fucking thing, right?
- 20:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:04Speaker 1: And then, you know, so I think it's the way
- 20:07they utilize it, which... Already, they've gone and updated it
- 20:10to make it less effusive of this big fucking cloud.
- 20:14It's more like this sense of a wafting scent, which
- 20:18I knew they were going to do. They do it
- 20:20with every game now. It's like, okay, let's patch it. Okay,
- 20:23people didn't like this. This doesn't work. Let's patch it.
- 20:26I'm not going to sit here and say it's the
- 20:27perfect game, but all of the things that people are
- 20:29complaining about are easily like, well, yeah, just fucking who
- 20:34gives a shit? You know what I mean? It's like,
- 20:37is it this big was it when I played it
- 20:39the first time before the update, was it this big
- 20:41glaring thing? No, I didn't give a fuck about it.
- 20:43Cause like, okay, obviously they're like, the trail is going
- 20:46up this way. This is a clear environmental thing that
- 20:49I run up. Yeah. The dogs agree with me. The
- 20:52dogs are like, Hey, yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Um, I think they're, I think they're chasing the cat.
- 20:56I think they're chasing the cat.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Sorry. Another fucking thing too, though, is like, you know,
- 21:01another gripe I had with a lot of the reviews
- 21:03is that they, they say that like, Oh, the, the
- 21:05combat got repetitive and like, By the late game, it
- 21:09was like, I'm doing the same shit. Well, it's like,
- 21:11think about it like this, right? You are playing this
- 21:13game nonstop for a review. I would get burnt out
- 21:18doing anything if that's all I was fucking doing.
- 21:21Speaker 2: What game isn't like that? Okay, because here's the thing.
- 21:23Let's look at all the other games. I'm not even
- 21:26going to say Spider-Man. Look at God of War. You're
- 21:28telling me you really use the, what is it, 50
- 21:32or 100 combos? No, you do the same fucking three.
- 21:37Speaker 1: And then when you unlock a new one, you might
- 21:38try it out.
- 21:39Speaker 2: You forget about it two seconds later.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Well, yeah, you go back to what's working. God of
- 21:44War is a great example of, like, I think the
- 21:46peak of what this kind of action, slight RPG genre
- 21:51could be is that, like, they give you enough to
- 21:55keep you going. And there's a bunch of side shit.
- 21:58In the new God of War, there's so much side content. And, like,
- 22:01the areas were big enough to explore. And there were, like,
- 22:03hidden shit that didn't have to do with the main
- 22:05quest at all. And you could go knock some stuff out.
- 22:09All of the dragon fights in the newer one were
- 22:12completely optional. I don't think there was a required fight.
- 22:17It was all side content. Wolverine, admittedly, doesn't have a
- 22:21ton of side content, but it does have these challenge missions.
- 22:27It's neat how they set it up without spoiling anything.
- 22:32It's like, But even then, you know, you find that
- 22:35in the environment of these levels. Like, it's side, but
- 22:38it's not, like, completely hidden, right? Yeah.
- 22:41Speaker 2: And I think it's going back to that whole thing
- 22:43where people just... Again, I haven't played it. I'm not
- 22:46going to play it because it's not on PC, especially
- 22:49with Sony's new directives, which I don't necessarily agree with,
- 22:52which the majority of the world doesn't either. But.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Neither.
- 22:56Speaker 2: It's... all I'm seeing now is people are now talking
- 23:01about like how, since they fixed the fart gas, um,
- 23:05among other things is now people are going back to like, well,
- 23:08here's what they actually took out of the game based
- 23:09on leaks. And so like, it's like, it's like, okay,
- 23:11if you're literally having a week now to go in,
- 23:13you're trying to, you're trying to pull shit that was
- 23:16allegedly leaked like a year and a half ago. And
- 23:19it's not in there now. It's like, all right, you're running.
- 23:21Cause I mean, I don't know what the scores are,
- 23:22but I remember like when it first came out like.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Those middling six sevens it was like.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah but now from what i'm seeing the majority the
- 23:30majority is people enjoy it that do they all have
- 23:33their critiques on it absolutely but like.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Oh my god yeah there's so much to love about
- 23:37the fucking game dude it is one of if not
- 23:41the like prettiest games right like and but i never
- 23:47say this about games the fucking acting You know what
- 23:51I'm saying?
- 23:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 1: The level of technology we have for like mocap and
- 23:55facial shit, like those animations, it's like superb, dude. And like,
- 24:02you know, and the set pieces, dude, the scene that's
- 24:07in trailers and shit where he's driving the fucking motorcycle
- 24:09down the highway. Yeah. Blew my mind because it's like,
- 24:12oh shit, I felt like I was playing like Burnout
- 24:14Revenge where it's just like you're going so goddamn fast. Yeah.
- 24:18And then people start coming in and ATVs and like
- 24:21trying to shoot you and you're using the claws to
- 24:22fucking pop the tires. And then they're like causing traffic
- 24:27shit to happen. And, and then like you go up
- 24:30this Ridge and he's jumping off the fucking thing and
- 24:33you're landing on the trucks. And, and just dude, when
- 24:35he goes to like the berserker rage, it's just like,
- 24:38oh shit game on. Um, you know, and of course
- 24:41you've got the insomniac, you know, uh, Mark of like
- 24:44all the suits look really good. Yeah. And, um, You know,
- 24:48the downtime between missions is really solid because it's like,
- 24:53if you're a fan of X-Men lore, which, like, anybody
- 24:57our age did not grow up with fucking the X-Men. Shit,
- 25:00my wife, who lived across, on the other side of
- 25:02the world, was a fan of the X-Men because of
- 25:04that fucking animated show.
- 25:05Speaker 2: And even if you didn't, you knew what it was.
- 25:08Speaker 1: You know who fucking Wolverine is. Right. It's the same
- 25:11reason the Batman games did so well back in the day.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Oh, God, you make it sound so old when you
- 25:16say that.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Yeah, back in the day when we had to crank
- 25:20the generator.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Or find the 300 Riddler trophies again.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Fuck that. Fuck that. I still haven't done that.
- 25:32Speaker 2: No, that's literally, I can't tell you how many times
- 25:35I've gotten like 130% or whatever, and I really don't
- 25:38get 135 is because fuck those trophies.
- 25:41Speaker 1: The fact that it's over 100%, it's like we knew
- 25:43you guys weren't going to do that. Yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 2: All just to maybe fight him one time in the
- 25:49last game.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Which is like, fuck that.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Yeah, fuck that.
- 25:54Speaker 1: You've got all this money to set up all these
- 25:55tunnels and challenges and shit, and you just can't go
- 25:58fuck up on an island?
- 25:59Speaker 2: You think after Batman solves the first, I don't know,
- 26:01700 in the first two or three games, you think after.
- 26:05Speaker 1: He's in his hideout with a pencil and a notebook
- 26:07just trying to fuck her up like... Okay, what if
- 26:09I made him guess what a fucking clock was? No,
- 26:12he did that already. A cup?
- 26:14Speaker 2: Fuck.
- 26:14Speaker 1: A banana?
- 26:16Speaker 2: Riddle me this, Batman. What did I say about this riddle? Fuck!
- 26:21Speaker 1: Riddle me this. When's my birthday? What's my favorite color?
- 26:26It's obviously green. It's definitely green.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Wait, that's not a riddle.
- 26:32Speaker 1: What shade, Batman? What shade of green?
- 26:35Speaker 2: Um.
- 26:37If you aim to give us a shot, we'll riddle you.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Is it a helicopter? Is it a helicopter?
- 26:44Speaker 2: That's one that sticks in the back of my head.
- 26:48Speaker 1: And dude, look. What I love about the fucking game
- 26:52is that it's the ultimate Wolverine power fantasy. You know
- 26:57what I mean? The shit that other games hadn't really
- 26:59done is like, yeah, like X-Men Origins, you had the
- 27:02combos and shit, and you could throw people around or whatever.
- 27:07Like the healing factor looked really good in that game.
- 27:10The one on the GameCube was like super stealthy.
- 27:13Speaker 2: But it had all the... GameCube, my God.
- 27:15Speaker 1: It had all the like nods to everything. Like he's
- 27:19been in all these fighting games and all this shit.
- 27:21This one makes you feel like you are just a
- 27:25fucking savage. And like there's a feature where you're like
- 27:29leaping at people. That's like almost like your heavy attack.
- 27:32But you stun people, like, by doing, like, a 300
- 27:36Spartan kick, knocking them into shit. They're stunned. And you
- 27:39go up, and you just start. Just stab. Like, just
- 27:43going at it. Just blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 27:48And there's blood flying everywhere. And I'm not a violent person.
- 27:52But that makes you feel like fucking Wolverine, dude. You know,
- 27:56you go into the cutscene, you're covered in fucking blood,
- 27:58your suit's all fucking shot to shit. But again, I
- 28:00just think it's at the point where people.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Are just trying to find stuff to, like... I don't
- 28:04want to say find stuff to bitch about, but they're
- 28:06just trying to find stuff to bitch about. Because, like
- 28:08I said, like, I... Other than the fart gas and
- 28:11then the motorcycle, like, hand-holding shit, that's all I've heard.
- 28:17But then I see, like, the reviews, and, like, they're
- 28:20more positive than negative. Like, yeah, again, even God of War, which...
- 28:24I mean, it has its critiques. What game does have critiques?
- 28:27Fucking Ocarina of Time has critiques. You know what I mean?
- 28:32There's no such thing as perfect, but at the same time, though,
- 28:37when you're, like I said, literally having to go and
- 28:41pull back the leaks that had what was it like
- 28:42three or four years ago it was a while ago
- 28:45it was a lot and like i mean if could
- 28:47they have been could that have been fake could they
- 28:49have been bullshit yeah but like now they're going to
- 28:52the files and they're seeing like oh actually no you
- 28:54were supposed to be able to do that and it's
- 28:55just like shit changes all the time like um well
- 28:59speaking of batman remember was it like i think it
- 29:00was arkham like if you oh yeah if you got
- 29:02on the playstation 3 only you could play as the
- 29:04joker for a mission You know what I mean? And
- 29:06that was supposed to be for all the other ones,
- 29:08but they took it out because Sony's like money allegedly. So,
- 29:12but like, and all it was, was you just hit
- 29:14people with a crowbar, which I mean, if you're a
- 29:16Joker fan, that's, so it's pretty awesome.
- 29:18Speaker 1: He had his little chattering teeth or whatever.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Chattering teeth is bomb.
- 29:23Speaker 1: But yeah.
- 29:24Speaker 2: And like, here's the thing I actually want to kind
- 29:26of go into a little bit with you about leaks
- 29:28is like how I put this. Unless you're like giving
- 29:31stuff to like those media outlets that like pay you.
- 29:34I'm not going to say which one. It's got three letters.
- 29:36It's pretty obvious. But like where they literally say we'll pay.
- 29:40you for that shit like like with wrestling or like
- 29:42people who post shit on reddit or the internet like
- 29:45who how why just legitimately like why is it just
- 29:49because it's like haha i fucked you over but it's
- 29:51like no one knows who the fuck you are and
- 29:53it's not and it's And it's not, like, arrogance, like,
- 29:55no one knows who you are because you post. It's like, no,
- 29:57because there's no source. Which, I mean, obviously you don't
- 29:59want to do it because they don't want to, like,
- 30:00give it away and it gets taken down. But at
- 30:02the same time, it's like, how does that benefit you? Like,
- 30:05any time you hear, like, Meltzer, like, what's happening? It's like,
- 30:09how does that benefit the person who told you that?
- 30:11Is it just because it's like, fuck you, I'm going
- 30:13to spoil your shit. But it's like, how?
- 30:16Speaker 1: Why? Yeah, I mean, it's literally, yeah, the same thing
- 30:18as spoilers. When people will just stand outside of... movie
- 30:22theaters and talk like shout the ending i'll never forget
- 30:26like even if it's unintentional you know i guess it's
- 30:29different if it's unintentional but i like was walking to
- 30:31go see end game and i literally heard somebody talking
- 30:34about how iron man dies yeah that would that would
- 30:37piss me off too well it's like i'm literally walking
- 30:40to get my popcorn right now i mean obviously.
- 30:42Speaker 2: It's one of two things either that person's just being
- 30:44an an asshole or they're just generally the next second
- 30:46i remember when i went to go see no way
- 30:48home i was doing like uh I don't know if
- 30:51you ever saw Fever Pick. He's literally plugging his ears
- 30:54screaming because he's wanting to hear the score of the
- 30:55Red Sox game. We all knew it was going to
- 30:58happen in No Way Home, but I didn't want to
- 31:00know how. Thankfully, I didn't.
- 31:03Speaker 1: It's the how that happens. That's what I held on to.
- 31:06It's the how. Even if that happens, how the fuck
- 31:09does it happen? I wasn't disappointed at all. By the
- 31:13time that shit popped off, I was like, I didn't
- 31:15see it coming. It was good. What were you going
- 31:17to say?
- 31:19Speaker 2: Well, did you hear about... So you know that the...
- 31:22What is it? The re-releasing endgame this weekend?
- 31:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Encore. Yeah, did you hear that... And it's got
- 31:27like an extra minute or so?
- 31:29Speaker 2: No, so supposedly it's a couple extra minutes.
- 31:33Speaker 1: It leaked. Of course it leaked. People like to tell me.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Now, here's where I have to... I'm not defending the leakers.
- 31:42Because essentially your.
- 31:46You're re-releasing a movie, which you're also trying to get
- 31:50the record again, which Titanic's done it, Avatar's done it,
- 31:53they've all done it. But you had to have known
- 31:58that even if this didn't leak prior to wherever the
- 32:02first showing is, whether that be tomorrow, even today. Actually,
- 32:04it leaked today, so it probably was today. Whatever the
- 32:07first showing was, that shit was going to be on
- 32:09YouTube in the first five minutes. But instead, not only
- 32:14did the post-credit things leak, the entire thing leaked.
- 32:20Speaker 1: The entire movie?
- 32:21Speaker 2: The entire movie.
- 32:22Speaker 1: The movie that's already been out?
- 32:24Speaker 2: So, well, because they added, like, not, like, added whole news,
- 32:26other than, like, the, what do you call it, the
- 32:29new post-credit stuff, because, again, there is no post-credit. But
- 32:31they literally, there's, like, little, like, extra stuff, like fight scenes,
- 32:36or not extra, extra scenes within fight scenes that are
- 32:39already known from what I read.
- 32:40Speaker 1: They just extended, they extended. like an extended edition where
- 32:42like some scenes have extra. Yeah.
- 32:45Speaker 2: So like, I think like when captain America fights captain America,
- 32:47there might be a couple extra punches. I don't know.
- 32:48Like that just, I'm just hyping. I'm just speaking hypothetically here,
- 32:52but Hey now, but it all.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 2: The post credit scenes, hint, hint leaked.
- 33:02Speaker 1: All right. Which happens.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Oh, you want me to be that guy?
- 33:07Speaker 1: No, I mean, I mean, I saw it. You saw
- 33:10the movie already?
- 33:11Speaker 2: No, I saw the scenes.
- 33:12Speaker 1: No, of course you didn't.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Because I'm sorry. Here's my... You have to, right?
- 33:16Speaker 1: If you know what's out there.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I understand. Here's my argument for it.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I understand why they're doing this. They're doing this for
- 33:23one of two reasons. One, it's not even to try
- 33:25to get the record back. It's to help promote Endgame.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Fuck me.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Doomsday. Because obviously with what... I mean, everyone knows who's
- 33:33playing Doom. It's like, okay, how do we explain why,
- 33:35you know, Dr. Doom looks like Tony Stark? Even though allegedly...
- 33:40Even though, allegedly, he doesn't show his face in the movie.
- 33:42That's a rumor.
- 33:43Speaker 1: But, which, if that's... Post-credit scenes?
- 33:46Speaker 2: So....
- 33:48Speaker 1: Fuck it. Okay.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Spoiler.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Sorry. You don't have to.
- 33:53Speaker 2: I'm not trying to be a rumor. Fuck it. Here's your... Okay, actually, yeah.
- 33:56Time out. Here's your slurp review for Endgame Encore, because
- 34:00it comes out this week, and Endgame's been out since 2019.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Which, if you want the slurp review for that... There's probably,
- 34:08there's probably, well.
- 34:09Speaker 2: The podcast wasn't around then, but I'm pretty sure I
- 34:11ranked it.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Actually.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Oh no, no, because I've, I've argued this and I've said,
- 34:14I think it's better than infinity war. Fight me.
- 34:17Speaker 1: So it definitely is.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Well, I don't call it, I don't call infinity war
- 34:21infinity war. I call it a Marvel studios presents Thanos,
- 34:24the movie. So I've gotten in a couple of arguments
- 34:28on this podcast and other ones about that before. So
- 34:32it ends. There's only three things. It's one. It's, um,
- 34:37Try to remember.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 34:38Speaker 2: So, where Peggy, or spoiler, Peggy and Steve are dancing. Okay,
- 34:43you know what? I'm going to give a light spoiler.
- 34:45Let me do that.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Oh, my God. Just spoil it.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Spoil it?
- 34:47Speaker 1: Okay.
- 34:48Speaker 2: My wife said spoil it. Thank God you're here. My wife,
- 34:52she inspires me. Where Peggy and Steve are dancing, Loki
- 34:55shows up. Well, he's with the TVA, and he goes,
- 34:59what the fuck you doing? And essentially, it's where, and again,
- 35:03they don't do the full context, probably because they're going
- 35:06to show more of it, I assume, in Doomsday. But essentially,
- 35:08he's like, I'm with the TVA, you're not supposed to
- 35:11be here, da-da-da-da-da. Then it goes to the TVA, and
- 35:15it shows that, for some reason, the multiverse is collapsing
- 35:19on itself, so much so there are two planets from
- 35:21two different universes about to collide, and they're so afraid
- 35:24of each other, they're shooting nukes at one another.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:28Speaker 2: And then third.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Dude, okay, pause. That's what they did in the comics. Yes.
- 35:34I'm pretty sure.
- 35:35Speaker 2: No, in Secret Wars, 100 fucking percent.
- 35:39Speaker 1: That was the plot of Secret Wars.
- 35:41Speaker 2: That's literally what happened.
- 35:42Speaker 1: So if you.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Read Secret Wars, it's not a spoiler. So, and then third,
- 35:47if you've read it, or not read, if you've seen
- 35:50Brand New Day, which we already spoiled, well, not spoiled,
- 35:52we already reviewed it on this podcast, which, okay, pause, pause.
- 35:55Speaker 1: We'll come back to that because we left out something
- 35:58that was super important that changes my review I'm not
- 36:02going to say oh wait Brand New Day so we
- 36:04need to go back one more episode episode 210 but
- 36:08finish what you were going to say no no no
- 36:10you go first because Brand New Day is involved in
- 36:13this post credit and it's not involving Spider-Man that's all
- 36:18I'll tell you well okay so what we left off
- 36:21which I can't believe because we danced around it we
- 36:23talked about the hospital scene but the scene where Frank
- 36:27is wearing the mask and distracting everybody and Peter actually
- 36:30gets to go out into the crowd and feel that
- 36:34level of love and appreciation and just have that moment.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Oh, and take it all in.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Take it all in. That was a moment where like,
- 36:42we haven't really been able to see that for anybody,
- 36:47any superhero. And like, if they're, Spider-Man is like the
- 36:51heart and soul of like the superhero community and, embodies
- 36:55what they all do it for the reason for doing
- 36:58it in the first place the choice to be a
- 36:59hero and for him to see the impact of that
- 37:02raises my score from 9 to dare I say a 9.5 I.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Can actually argue that one about the crowd because I
- 37:16would say for Iron Man it's the same thing because
- 37:19in the first Iron Man movies he was always with
- 37:20like people and fans and crowds and.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Stuff like that.
- 37:25Speaker 2: But I think, but I think, but I think, but no,
- 37:27but I think nothing embodied that more than that one
- 37:29scene in Spider-Man. I would agree with that.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Okay. I rest my case. Okay. I send my peace.
- 37:33Speaker 2: So, third and final post-credits scene.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Back at it.
- 37:37Speaker 2: It's Banner in a bunker. He's locked himself away.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Oh.
- 37:42Speaker 2: He is, because he hasn't had a instance of him
- 37:46hulking out or hulking up. Hulking up, dude. Without his consent.
- 37:54I'm not sure if that's the right way to say it.
- 37:56Without his own well-being forcing it. He's in control. He's
- 38:03in control. He says it's been 10 years. He's trying
- 38:06to figure out how can I keep this going longer.
- 38:08Long story short, shit happens the camera goes out it's
- 38:15all green banner goes who are you you hear a
- 38:19very familiar voice in a spanish accent say some stuff
- 38:24and then you hear the hulk roar and then everything
- 38:26the camera turns back on and you see a portal
- 38:29that just disappeared.
- 38:30Speaker 1: The spanish accent what spanish.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Accent well laveria it's like spanish.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Latveria laveria thank you european whatever but yeah Spaniard. Yeah,
- 38:39who cares? It's a fictitious country.
- 38:41Speaker 2: I am not racist.
- 38:42Speaker 1: No one said they're racist. You know Spanish when you
- 38:47hear it. Yes.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Thank you, sir.
- 38:49Speaker 1: And again, it is a fictional country.
- 38:51Speaker 2: So essentially, it looks like Doom, quote unquote, kidnapped the Hulk. Spoiler.
- 38:59Speaker 1: So with 10 years, put it after the events of
- 39:02Brand New Day.
- 39:04Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no. So the 10 years he
- 39:06says– so this is right after Brand New Day. So
- 39:10the 10– yeah, the 10 years.
- 39:12Speaker 1: He was saying– After Jean Grey breaks that.
- 39:14Speaker 2: No, he was saying it's been 10 years since I've
- 39:17had an incident that was beyond my control. All the
- 39:20other Hulk ups were within his control. This is like
- 39:22a– I think he said it's been like 60 days
- 39:26since my last incident, but he said it was 10
- 39:27years prior to that is when.
- 39:29Speaker 1: It happened or something like that. Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 1: So it is after brand new day.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Yes. It's right after brand new day. I think it,
- 39:34I think he said, I think he said it's like
- 39:35three months. It's like, it's really, it's right after.
- 39:38Speaker 1: It'd be crazy if they perfectly timed it for like
- 39:40when encore comes out after the brand new day.
- 39:44Speaker 2: If it's 60 days. I mean, honestly, it might be.
- 39:47Because it's crazy.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Because that's like some crazy.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Yeah, because that movie came out in July. So, I mean, fuck,
- 39:51it might be.
- 39:53Speaker 1: It might actually just be 60 days. Which is crazy.
- 39:56Because that means, like, they've planned this perfectly. Gee.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Did Disney and Marvel plan shit ahead of time? Shocking.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Well, but then.
- 40:07Speaker 2: If only that was Star Wars.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I love it when, like. Because they did this with, like.
- 40:11I think the ultimate comics where like each issue was
- 40:14like a month, like in the continuity of the comic
- 40:16was a month apart from the last issue, like a
- 40:19month goes by and then this happens, you know? But anyway,
- 40:22but that's, that's sick. And I love that. Yeah.
- 40:25Speaker 2: So that's, and here's the thing. I wholeheartedly believe that
- 40:30Encore quote unquote will be on Disney plus by, I'm
- 40:35not going to say the end of the month, cause
- 40:36it's a week from now, but by before, I'm going
- 40:38to say before Halloween.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Because they know it's going.
- 40:42Speaker 2: To be online by... I mean, it's already online, but
- 40:45it's going to be... They're probably going to put it online, quote-unquote,
- 40:48by next week. Because everyone's going to... Not everyone's going
- 40:51to spoil it, but it's literally... Reviews are going to
- 40:53come out saying there's not many differences in the movie
- 40:55other than the final five minutes, which happens after the original,
- 41:00original five minutes. Does that make sense?
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:03Speaker 2: How many times do you say original in a sentence?
- 41:06Speaker 1: That's tight. That's tight, dude.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Look, I'm excited because it's one of those scenes where
- 41:11it's like....
- 41:13Speaker 1: That's the kind of thing. It's a spoiler, right? It's
- 41:15a spoiler to see these scenes. But if you weren't
- 41:18going to go see it again, which I contemplated it,
- 41:23but again, spending money where you want to spend it.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like spend where you want to spend it,
- 41:28but is it worth what movie tickets cost? Here's the thing,
- 41:31especially if you have a Disney Plus account, is it
- 41:33worth spending that money to go see that long movie
- 41:37with what that costs? The only thing that's different is
- 41:40the final five minutes, and it's because they added five minutes,
- 41:43if it's even five minutes. I don't even think it's
- 41:44five minutes. When I can just go home, or I
- 41:48can literally turn it on my TV right now for
- 41:52not nothing but with what my subscription gives me. And
- 41:54that's the thing. That's why I literally think it'll be
- 41:56on within a month. But again, because they're also doing
- 41:59it because they know it's a smart thing. They know
- 42:00people are excited. It's one of those movies that when
- 42:03it came out, everyone went to the theaters to go
- 42:05see it. It's to help promote, get people excited for Doomsday,
- 42:08because it's less than, I think, yeah, it's literally less
- 42:10than three months now. But the other problem is, too,
- 42:15and I haven't seen this yet, thankfully, I don't know
- 42:18if this is confirmed, but apparently the full.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Movie's already leaked.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Or, let me retract that. The plot apparently has been
- 42:26leaked for months. Apparently somewhere out there, there's a full copy.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Of wow if it's some bootleg shit then like i've
- 42:37told you the story of like my some friends and
- 42:39i in high school got a bootleg copy of x-men
- 42:42origins wolverine yeah and uh let's just say it was
- 42:45unfinished oh no i i.
- 42:48Speaker 2: I'll never forget my mom went on a trip to
- 42:51i believe south carolina and she came back her my
- 42:56pops came back and you know me i mean you know,
- 43:00it's almost better than clickety clack, but like, I'm a
- 43:02huge fan of predator. And this is right around the
- 43:05time alien versus predator came out. Obviously I was a
- 43:09little disappointed when I, I mean, I don't think it's
- 43:10as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but
- 43:11I was just one about, you know, okay, I kill
- 43:13all these people, but because you are, because, because you
- 43:18almost died by an alien, I'll let you help me,
- 43:20which makes no fucking sense. Anyway, um, she got me a, not,
- 43:25I won't say a bootleg, but for some reason, this
- 43:28is before the week came on theaters. I guess there
- 43:30was like a review test, like screening and someone snuck
- 43:35a camera. So it's literally a test for you, the movie.
- 43:40And there's like people standing up and shit. I'm hearing
- 43:42people laughing that like when it's like not a laughing moment.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 2: But I saw the movie before it came out. I
- 43:48just remember I was like, Oh no, there's like one
- 43:51of the biggest, the part where essentially her and the predator,
- 43:54the main girl and the predator joined forces to kill
- 43:57the aliens, which makes no fucking sense. like, there's literally, like,
- 44:00a guy standing up with his hands in the air,
- 44:01and he goes, huh?
- 44:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:05Speaker 2: That would be great. So, literally, my emotion was literally
- 44:09coming across on the TV screen.
- 44:11Speaker 1: And you're like, yeah, one guy? Yeah. That's how I feel. Yeah.
- 44:14So immersive.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, no, I just remember, like, and, like, I,
- 44:18because I remember, too, like, I forget, like, she didn't
- 44:20tell me where she got it from. Like, my stepdad
- 44:21was even like, the movie's on your fucking eye. Like,
- 44:23how'd you get your, oh, some person I knew, knew
- 44:26someone that went to a test screening. And it's like, Well,
- 44:29how the fuck did they get a camera in the test?
- 44:30I mean, this is obviously like 23 years ago or whatever.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Nokia flip phone.
- 44:36Speaker 2: No, no. I mean, yeah, Nokia flip phone or like,
- 44:38you know, oh, what's that giant box? Oh, it's just
- 44:41some popcorn. No, but yeah, apparently the full, allegedly the full,
- 44:47the plot's been out there forever, but the movie is
- 44:50apparently somewhere out there.
- 44:51Speaker 1: That's a spoiler. I'd avoid like the plague.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Well, okay. And here's the thing. This is one thing
- 44:55I do. I've always said about spoilers though. obviously no
- 44:59one wants to get spoiled, but it's actually not that
- 45:02hard to avoid it if whatever social platform you use,
- 45:05just go on to the search center, just mute certain words.
- 45:09And if one gets through, that's just bad luck.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I mean, yeah. The amount of times I've been spoiled
- 45:14by a thumbnail, I'm like, fuck.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and I know people think that, I mean, I
- 45:21call it Twitter, but I know people who think Twitter
- 45:23is an absolute cesspool, which I get. I've seen some
- 45:26of the shit that up from, like, other articles that, like,
- 45:29people post on there and shit like that. But I
- 45:31don't see that stuff going on because I block a
- 45:32lot of that shit. I literally go, like, keywords, like, block,
- 45:35mute this, the keyword that. Like, I don't need that crap. Because, like,
- 45:39mine is literally just, like, movies, some wrestling, now a
- 45:42little more comic books, and some Funko shit.
- 45:44Speaker 1: That's it. Mm-mm-mm. That's it.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Yeah. It's me nodding, but you can't see me nod,
- 45:50so I have to make a sound effect.
- 45:51Speaker 2: No, no, no. I know that sound effect. Well, don't worry.
- 45:54Speaker 1: But I....
- 45:56Speaker 2: It's like, it's not that hard to, I'm not going
- 45:58to say it's, it's not, it's not impossible to avoid spoilers,
- 46:01but it is doable.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:03Speaker 2: The only reason I got spoiled in the plot is
- 46:06because I heard, well, there's one movie, one I follow,
- 46:09which I don't follow anymore because of this, spoil something
- 46:11on me. And I went, fuck. And then I literally,
- 46:13and then this other movie thing I listened to said, okay,
- 46:16we're going to reveal a spoiler here. We're like, we
- 46:17are like, we'll give you a warning. You could skip
- 46:1920 minutes ahead. And I go, all right, if he says,
- 46:22if it's the first five words is what I think
- 46:24it is, then, fuck it and it was those in
- 46:26the first five words I'm like yes Shuba I know
- 46:28I was shocked too and the first five words I'm
- 46:30like damn it that spoiler was legit.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Okay what happened well yeah so when a spoiler confirms
- 46:37a leak that's.
- 46:39Speaker 2: The worst yeah that is the worst but and the
- 46:44whole thing is just like what does that how does
- 46:47that the only thing I can think of is like
- 46:49a disgruntled employee who doesn't get paid enough because like
- 46:52who else does it benefit yeah You know what I mean?
- 46:55Speaker 1: And again, yeah, it's just some malicious satisfaction.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Either that or some DC stan. You know what I mean?
- 47:01Speaker 1: At that point, it's like, go outside. Go take a walk.
- 47:05Speaker 2: It's what McGuire said. Go outside and play.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Like, what the fuck?
- 47:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Go touch some grass.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Go make fun other ways as opposed to putting... Take
- 47:13up pottery. in a worse position. Taking the joy out
- 47:16of somebody else doesn't necessarily give it to you.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Watch cooking or restaurant videos in your area of places
- 47:22you're not aware of.
- 47:23Speaker 1: You know what? That's the true definition of a troll.
- 47:25I think when the dissatisfaction or malign of others gives
- 47:35you more joy than actually bettering yourself in some way
- 47:39or experiencing something for yourself. You know what I mean?
- 47:42So that's a troll. To all the trolls out there,
- 47:44fuck you, bro.
- 47:47Speaker 2: I'm going to take the high road. With all the
- 47:49trolls out there, go outside and play.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Touch some grass.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Or as Michael Jordan said... Get some help. Please.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Sometimes the flies get in the honey, and sometimes you've
- 48:02got to smack the fly. That's all I'm saying. Jesus Christ.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Well, for example, we're going to that wrestling show this weekend.
- 48:10Speaker 1: Fuck yeah, we are. I'm so excited. Me too.
- 48:13Speaker 2: But at the same time, there's been no spoilers. Prior
- 48:19to what the card was going to be, there was
- 48:21no spoilers for that. There was no spoilers for what's
- 48:22happening this weekend. There's no spoilers of what happened at
- 48:25that other show that's not being broadcasted that's happening, other
- 48:28than some guys wearing a mask and coming out to
- 48:29a Killswitch Engage song.
- 48:30Speaker 1: That's it. Oh, my fucking God. Yeah, that's the big
- 48:33selling point. I mean, like, look, to see Rey Mysterio,
- 48:36to see, like, these other people wrestle, that'd be tight.
- 48:39But at the same time, can we talk about how
- 48:41weird of a choice it is to not broadcast it
- 48:44at all?
- 48:45Speaker 2: No, it literally is just embodying the we are only
- 48:49doing this because you're on the other side of town.
- 48:50We want to find a way to fuck you, even
- 48:52though the show's been sold out now for two weeks.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Sold out, and it's going to sell a bunch of shit.
- 48:55Speaker 2: I guarantee it. Let me see. Actually, you won't hear
- 48:57my news right now. While you make your point, I'm
- 48:59going to go on Ticketmaster. And we got front row.
- 49:01And I'm going to see how many seats are available
- 49:04at this non-televised event.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Maybe that's part of it, too. Maybe they didn't sell
- 49:10a ton, so they're trying not to.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Well, I literally saw today that now Obafemi apparently is
- 49:17being promoted for the show.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Like.
- 49:19Speaker 2: All right, let's see how many tickets we got left.
- 49:23Speaker 1: There's.
- 49:26Speaker 2: A lot.
- 49:26Speaker 1: I'm telling you. They put all their money online.
- 49:33Speaker 2: Yeah, there's quite a few.
- 49:35Speaker 1: At least fucking broadcast it, dude. At least put a
- 49:38ton of ads. Oh, no.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Did you hear what the rumor is now? So supposedly
- 49:42it was going to be on YouTube.
- 49:46Speaker 1: All the AAA stuff is, yeah.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Yeah, but now they might put it on Club WWE.
- 49:50Speaker 1: What the fuck is that?
- 49:52Speaker 2: You don't know what that is?
- 49:54Speaker 1: No, I don't know what Club WWE is.
- 49:56Speaker 2: It's, like, their fan club thing where you pay, like,
- 49:58I think it's, like, $ 120- some- odd a year, and you get, like,
- 50:01exclusive access to, like, pre-sales or, what was it? They uploaded,
- 50:06I read this the other day, and people were pissed off.
- 50:08They uploaded, like, four years of, like, raw episodes, which were, like,
- 50:12why the fuck am I paying for Netflix then? Because,
- 50:14and they're still not up on Netflix, but they were
- 50:16up when, but you can get them when they were
- 50:18on Peacock for nothing.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Right. Fuck, and you could find that shit for free
- 50:22on the internet.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. And also, I think the only, and I
- 50:26could be wrong, the only match they posted that's exclusive
- 50:29was the recent The Cure Liv Morgan one in Chile,
- 50:31which would have been cool to see.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, whenever they do house show shit, maybe
- 50:36that's where the house shows can live.
- 50:38Speaker 2: So there's quite, yeah, especially if you've been to Rosemont,
- 50:43it's only two sections or two.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Have you been to Rosemont?
- 50:48Speaker 2: No, I'm trying to think what's the word. Two stories,
- 50:51if that's the right way to put it. Two sections,
- 50:53two levels. Two levels, thank you, of seats. And there's
- 50:59quite a few.
- 51:01Speaker 1: That's crazy, man.
- 51:02Speaker 2: I'm not going to say it's not selling, but literally,
- 51:07let's say this. The opposite side of the entryway, there's
- 51:11a fuck ton. And by the way, a lot of
- 51:12these are not resale. They're just available.
- 51:15Speaker 1: That's rough. Let's see.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Actually, let's see how much is a... You could buy
- 51:22a second row ticket for $ 535. Fuck off.
- 51:24Speaker 1: What the fuck? No wonder.
- 51:29Speaker 2: I'm the biggest CM Punk stan in this room. But
- 51:33I'm not... Is that worth seeing and put a mask
- 51:35on again?
- 51:36Speaker 1: No. And a six-man tag? Yes.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Against Dominic Mysterio and Giant Funko Head.
- 51:42Speaker 1: And J.D. McDonough. They couldn't find... Yeah. Okay. I see
- 51:46what they're doing. Seriously.
- 51:48Speaker 2: I'm serious. If you really want to entice people to
- 51:49cover this show, you got to be like, hey, Steve Austin,
- 51:52first appearance in Chicago, like 20... You know what I mean?
- 51:54Some shit like that.
- 51:55Speaker 1: We really are trying to outsell the competition and outdraw
- 51:58the competition after they just had one of their biggest nights,
- 52:02biggest pay-per-views. This is a follow-up to that? Oh, wait.
- 52:05Let me.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Let me see here. And by the way, yeah, let's
- 52:08make no mistake. OG Patron and myself, we have not
- 52:10been exactly kind to AEW the last couple years because
- 52:13of just some of the things they've done. But, you know,
- 52:14they're on the bumping up. But let's go with AEW.
- 52:18Let's see.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Oh, that's right.
- 52:21Speaker 2: So you can buy tickets, but it's only resales.
- 52:26Speaker 1: How many people are going to be there? Because it's
- 52:27sold out. Is that, what, 10,000? I think the max.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Is like 98,000.
- 52:34Speaker 1: In the 800?
- 52:35Speaker 2: Yeah, here, I'll check WrestleTix.
- 52:36Speaker 1: They'll tell you.
- 52:38Speaker 2: But yeah, I think it's literally.
- 52:39Speaker 1: I am so excited.
- 52:42Speaker 2: I am too.
- 52:43Speaker 1: I was just in that building again, like last July,
- 52:46this past July, for the NJPW G1 Night 1. Yeah.
- 52:52And the show was not sold out by any means.
- 52:56I mean, it was a packed house, but it wasn't
- 52:58sold out, and that place was loud as fuck.
- 53:01Speaker 2: $ 9, 500. $ 9, 500.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I am so ready for this weekend to hear this
- 53:06fucking crowd.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Here's a question. Let me see something really quick.
- 53:11Speaker 1: And I'm even more excited. I know it's weird, but
- 53:12I'm more excited to be in the seats that we
- 53:15are to see more of the arena. You know what
- 53:18I'm saying? Yeah. Because I remember all in, the very
- 53:21first all in before there even was an AEW, we
- 53:23were in the very back row.
- 53:24Speaker 2: We were literally in the definition of nosebleed.
- 53:29Speaker 1: And again, great seat. Literally. By any definition. But to
- 53:35see the entire crowd was just unreal. So I'm excited
- 53:40for you to be there, for my wife to be
- 53:44there to see that kind of thing, and for just
- 53:47to see some good fucking wrestling because goddamn the card
- 53:50is fucking stacked.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Well, then you get to see Edge again.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Who's that?
- 53:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 53:56Speaker 1: I don't know. That's his dead name, Charlie.
- 53:58Speaker 2: Hopefully the guy doesn't kill himself.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I swear to God.
- 54:02Speaker 2: You know what's probably crazy? They're probably going to try
- 54:05to pry him.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Please don't jump off some shit.
- 54:06Speaker 2: 25 years later. So let's see.
- 54:07Speaker 1: All in in 2018 was 11,000 people. All out in
- 54:0821 was 10,000 people.
- 54:08Speaker 2: This weekend right now is 95. They said tickets have sold.
- 54:11Now keep in mind, tickets sold is 9,500, including comps.
- 54:23and other things. So God only knows that's going to
- 54:29be crazy. But yeah, I think I'm excited. Cause like,
- 54:32it's like a little bit of the unknown, but also it's, it's,
- 54:36I think it's also this whole thing where it's like,
- 54:37I think there's that little chip on their shoulder. Cause like,
- 54:39like literally like, Oh yeah, there's a show on the
- 54:41other side of town here just to like, just to
- 54:43spite us. But even with what they're putting on there,
- 54:45which isn't much, they couldn't do shit.
- 54:48Speaker 1: And like, you're going up against a card with like what?
- 54:5112 matches, nine title matches, I think.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I counted. Women's tag, you know, men's tag, men's trios, national, international, world.
- 55:08Maybe it's only six. Yeah, I think it's only six
- 55:10because you got the two pre-show matches. You've got the
- 55:15women's number one contender and the tag number one contender.
- 55:18And then you got fucking... I don't know.
- 55:23Speaker 2: So here's where they give them credit. They technically have
- 55:27sold more tickets, Worlds Collide, but they have 5,000 available still.
- 55:38Am I reading that right? Total number of seats on
- 55:40the map is 17,544. Oh, shit, it's almost 7,000. Tickets distributed, 10,834.
- 55:42So what they're going to do is whatever section they
- 55:45don't fill up, they're just going to close it off.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean.
- 55:54Speaker 2: Because I've been to an NXT show where it was, like,
- 55:56only 5,000, and that shit was closed off.
- 55:59Speaker 1: The black blanket of death.
- 56:00Speaker 2: The black blanket of death was everywhere. But, I mean, again,
- 56:03I couldn't... That wasn't their fault.
- 56:05Speaker 1: These tickets are reserved for the shadow realm. The shadow realm.
- 56:08The shadow realm.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Hiding in the shadow realm. No, and it's the same.
- 56:12It's like the whole show. It's like, oh, yeah, we're
- 56:14literally here just... But again, it's like, why? Like, with leaks,
- 56:17with this, it's like, why? Like, who does it benefit?
- 56:22Are you really going to have– okay, here's a question, TK.
- 56:24Are you really going to have that much of a
- 56:26giant influx and a giant increase on your stock with
- 56:29this show this weekend?
- 56:31Speaker 1: Probably not. See, but that's the thing too. It's like
- 56:33the last big wrestling leak, we were there. Yeah.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Wait, did you say link or leak?
- 56:43Speaker 1: Leak.
- 56:44Speaker 2: Oh, I mean technically we're at the last two.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Did I say link?
- 56:47Speaker 2: I thought you said link.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 56:48Speaker 2: No, I think we were the last two.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Yeah, basically. Same guy. Same fucking guy.
- 56:53Speaker 2: Same city.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Same thing happened. Different venue. He walked out.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Well, the second one, that one was, I don't know
- 57:02if I would call that a leak. That one was just,
- 57:04I think that one was just, what do you call it?
- 57:07That was just fantasy booking and that was just wishful thinking, which,
- 57:10but as we got closer, it's like, okay.
- 57:14Speaker 1: I remember at that point I was booing him. And
- 57:16then when he did come out, I was like, ah, fuck.
- 57:22Speaker 2: I remember I jumped up. And for some reason, I don't, like,
- 57:27I mean, it was after Thanksgiving, so it was a
- 57:29little cold outside. But it was the end of the show. So, like,
- 57:32before he came out, like, we put our jackets on.
- 57:34And for some reason, I've never done this. The jacket
- 57:37I was wearing, there was a breast pocket underneath. And
- 57:39I put my phone in there. And of course, when
- 57:41he comes out, I just go, yeah, fuck yeah. And
- 57:44all of a sudden, I see my phone go, whee!
- 57:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:47Speaker 2: And thank God I didn't have it naked. It was
- 57:50in an Otterbox case.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Nice. Shout out to Otterbox.
- 57:53Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, fuck. Actually, no, it's not even Otterbox. It's
- 57:57just what people call it. It's a Star Wars case
- 57:59my wife bought me. But literally, I fucking go, yay!
- 58:03And then, like, I don't notice it until, like, a
- 58:06couple seconds later because I see my phone go flying.
- 58:08I'm like, ah, shit. But thankfully, it didn't fall into, like,
- 58:12the fucking production area where we were sitting by.
- 58:14Speaker 1: It could have flown.
- 58:15Speaker 2: It could have flown. But no, you're right. We technically
- 58:19have been there for the last two....
- 58:22Speaker 1: The last two leaks. We've been there. There's leaks and
- 58:26then there's, you know, poorly kept secrets, right? Yeah. The
- 58:31new level showing up in AEW.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Worst kept secret.
- 58:34Speaker 1: We knew it was going to happen. But was it leaked? No.
- 58:39Speaker 2: No, because they didn't sign until that day.
- 58:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:42Speaker 2: So what's there to leak?
- 58:43Speaker 1: What's there to leak? There's nothing to leak.
- 58:45Speaker 2: Hell, you were there for....
- 58:47Speaker 1: And that's the thing about it.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Well, you're there for Cole. Like, that one was not,
- 58:50that one was a rumor, but, like, no one knew
- 58:53it was happening until, like, literally that moment.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 58:56Speaker 2: Now, the Brian one, that was, that was fucking, I mean,
- 58:59Punk fucking spoiled that himself. But, like, that was beyond obvious.
- 59:01Speaker 1: But, like, it's, again, like, this week, it's like, who, wait,
- 59:05who is this spiting?
- 59:05Speaker 2: Like, it's not, it's not like anyone, like, unless you, like,
- 59:07I mean, literally, unless they've got, like, the fucking rock
- 59:09come out, but it's, like, to what, like, well, I'm just,
- 59:12I'm just saying, like, to, like, what, uh, people that
- 59:15are not, like, not a full arena, like, I don't know,
- 59:21it's just, it's just petty bullshit, which, again, I mean, that,
- 59:23I mean, here's the thing, but here's the thing, no,
- 59:24that's the other places, the same shit to them back
- 59:26in the 90s and stuff like that, but it is
- 59:28what it is, but at the same time, it's just
- 59:29kind of, like, the show sold out. Like, how does
- 59:33this help you guys? If anything, you just, you just
- 59:36intrigued more people to go to this one.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Yeah. So truth, truth be told. Yeah, dude, I'm, I'm fucking,
- 59:45I'm fucking pumped. I'm fucking hyped. I want it bad.
- 59:48Speaker 2: I'm, I'm hyped for some fucking brioche French toast.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Yeah. I'm just chopping it all off. We're starting the
- 59:54day right with some French guy. We're going to try
- 59:57to be there right when I said we were going
- 59:58to be there. your place probably and then we can.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: We can figure that out I mean you just gotta
- 1:00:04you just gotta meet the new pup that's the one
- 1:00:05thing you gotta do you gotta meet Mr.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Shuba he's gonna hate me he's gonna try to bite
- 1:00:08me oh no nope.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: He is he is a sweetheart well though if he
- 1:00:12looks at you like what's his face from Invasion of
- 1:00:14the Body Snatchers that's his way of saying hi so good.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: To know good to know.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Oh god and again I love him to death but
- 1:00:24that's just the look he gives and also for some
- 1:00:25reason like we don't know why he does this and
- 1:00:27like you think okay is it him telling us he
- 1:00:28has to go to the bathroom no Like, there are
- 1:00:30times he'll just sit there and, like, look at you
- 1:00:32with that look. The only thing that's missing is, like,
- 1:00:34his mouth being open. But he just starts barking at you.
- 1:00:36And it's like, what? Like, what do you want? And
- 1:00:37then you get up. Like, okay, he's got water.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: He's got food.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Like, do you just want attention? Like, what the fuck
- 1:00:42are you doing? But he's a sweet boy.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I'm excited, man.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: My wife did a good job finding him.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: So. Your wife did.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: No, I can't take credit. That was all her.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Shout out to the.
