- 1:32Speaker 4: It's funny to.
- 1:33Speaker 7: The point where we reached out to to get him
- 1:35Speaker 7: on the show, and then we did like a regular

- 1:52Speaker 7: It is coming up today two point zero. Maybe maybe
- 1:56Speaker 7: maybe Sea Bass has got that for us. Menace with
- 1:58Speaker 7: the latest in the world of entertainment. We got the Birthdays,
- 2:00Speaker 7: the porn of birthday all on the way here on
- 2:03Speaker 7: the Woody Show.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Yeah, uh, Greg Woody.
- 2:08Speaker 7: Was talking to me about there's a new Netflix documentary.
- 2:10Speaker 7: I've seen a little thing about it. It's it's the
- 2:12Speaker 7: Eddie Murphy one.
- 2:13Speaker 4: It's called Being at Eddie.
- 2:15Speaker 5: Okay, we didn't come out just a week ago, five
- 2:19Speaker 5: days ago, down recent like that.
- 2:21Speaker 4: I watched it and I could have and I should
- 2:25Speaker 4: have masturbated to it. God, not for his hotness, not
- 2:30Speaker 4: for the movies, but for his house. Oh yeah, oh
- 2:36Speaker 4: my god, it was. I was turned on by it's
- 2:39Speaker 4: a town, it's a legal hotel. It's so big. He
- 2:43Speaker 4: has a retractable roof. In this one portion of his house.
- 2:46Speaker 4: He said, Oh, it's getting kind of cold. Let me
- 2:48Speaker 4: close the room. The whole thing is just like, that's cool.
- 2:53Speaker 4: It's one of those houses that's so damn big that
- 2:55Speaker 4: you wouldn't even know if twenty people were home. It's
- 2:58Speaker 4: so gorgeous, it's it was mind blowing. And he's kind
- 3:04Speaker 4: of a man after my heart. Where he's he's talking
- 3:06Speaker 4: about all these upcoming projects. Obviously they look back at
- 3:09Speaker 4: his filmography, everything he's done, and during the documentary he
- 3:14Speaker 4: either gets a call or or some sort of interest
- 3:17Speaker 4: in reprising a role or doing a new project. And
- 3:20Speaker 4: he was reluctant. He said, Ah, my favorite thing to
- 3:23Speaker 4: do is just sit around. I don't want to do anything.
- 3:27Speaker 9: I'm looking at an over hot headshot. This is a
- 3:29Speaker 9: legit like spage away hotel court.
- 3:34Speaker 4: That you would think you could rent out as a hotel.
- 3:36Speaker 4: It's so gorgeous.
- 3:38Speaker 7: Really affirm this. I've been there.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Yeah, you've been to his house and a night there
- 3:44Speaker 4: and I did not.
- 3:45Speaker 10: Spend the night there, but he's there with a friend
- 3:47Speaker 10: who was friends with him, and I saw maybe I
- 3:50Speaker 10: don't know fifteen percent.
- 3:52Speaker 7: Of it because it's Jay. It's a huge.
- 3:54Speaker 10: Compound he had like a full kitchen staff like all night.
- 3:58Speaker 10: It was wow, it was incredible.
- 4:00Speaker 4: What was going on there that you were there was
- 4:02Speaker 4: a big party kind of.
- 4:03Speaker 10: It was just a couple of people and my friend
- 4:05Speaker 10: who was friends was like, come on up, but I
- 4:07Speaker 10: was like, are you sure.
- 4:08Speaker 4: It's like, yeah, I come on up, and what you do?
- 4:11Speaker 7: I went up there literally in my like work pajamas.
- 4:14Speaker 10: It's like, hey, hi, I'm Gina, and we just hung
- 4:17Speaker 10: out like you know, cool. Yeah, a little a little
- 4:21Speaker 10: like not super warm, but like became much nicer as
- 4:25Speaker 10: evening went on.
- 4:27Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Yeah, she thought, like Michael Jordan is now just like quiet.
- 4:30Speaker 10: Somber, but what but did end up being very friendly
- 4:34Speaker 10: and the house is beyond spectacles and if you asked.
- 4:37Speaker 7: He's one of those guys I would hope would be cool. Yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Even in the interview portions of the documentary where he's
- 4:44Speaker 4: talking directly to the camera or even addressing somebody who's
- 4:46Speaker 4: asking the questions, he seemed a little like guarded.
- 4:49Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the right word. Guarded.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Guarded.
- 4:51Speaker 7: Yeah, And you get like that because so many people are,
- 4:54Speaker 7: you know, wanting things from you, expectations of you.
- 4:58Speaker 4: It's been world famous forever. They're are your problems, you know.
- 5:02Speaker 7: And then also you know all those people who are
- 5:03Speaker 7: just like, you know, over the top, you envious in
- 5:06Speaker 7: different ways. But it was super fun.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Is the kind of house you would legit get lost in.
- 5:11Speaker 10: If I was allowed to roam around, I'd never find
- 5:14Speaker 10: my way back up. Every room had an intercom because
- 5:18Speaker 10: I remember just hanging out with my friend in some
- 5:20Speaker 10: like random place and We're like having this like heart
- 5:22Speaker 10: to heart and like really just like intense, and then we.
- 5:25Speaker 12: Hear like, oh gosh, what was that where?
- 5:29Speaker 7: And I'm like, where is that coming from?
- 5:31Speaker 13: And where do we go?
- 5:32Speaker 4: Where's here?
- 5:32Speaker 7: Yeah? Exactly?
- 5:34Speaker 4: Ye parents.
- 5:35Speaker 7: I don't think their intercom still works, but they installed
- 5:37Speaker 7: one in the eighties. I think everybody had them with
- 5:40Speaker 7: that kind of like the tan button on long ones. Yeah,
- 5:44Speaker 7: just so they could yell at kids, that's all.
- 5:46Speaker 4: They look like.
- 5:46Speaker 7: They're like a like a like a flat version of
- 5:49Speaker 7: those alarm clocks that were in every hotel, ratchy looking one.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Look, Yeah, you had the built in one that never worked,
- 5:56Speaker 4: and then we bought the little desktop ones that you're
- 5:58Speaker 4: talking about. You a couple here set up on the
- 6:00Speaker 4: neighbors They had the same.
- 6:04Speaker 9: I think we had the trifecta of things that people
- 6:06Speaker 9: did in the eighties that were central. They had the
- 6:08Speaker 9: intercom they built in, they had central vacuums which yesh,
- 6:13Speaker 9: crazy drum installed in the basement, just typed into every
- 6:18Speaker 9: room necessary main pain and the deed installed through all that,
- 6:22Speaker 9: and we had a laundry.
- 6:24Speaker 10: Shoot, how many times did you threaten siblings that you're
- 6:31Speaker 10: gonna put him in there?
- 6:32Speaker 4: We threw everything down the lond.
- 6:35Speaker 14: I think, though, you're going back to chefs, what was
- 6:37Speaker 14: really cool? And I swear when Morgan and I we
- 6:40Speaker 14: went to Dana White's office was which was like what
- 6:44Speaker 14: you just described.
- 6:45Speaker 8: It was just insane, just the office alone.
- 6:47Speaker 14: Yeah, just his office was crazy. When we opened the
- 6:50Speaker 14: door for his private kitchen, like the chefs disappeared, there's
- 6:55Speaker 14: like there's like some censor. Yeah they know, like just
- 6:58Speaker 14: they just walked out and like what.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Do you want?
- 7:00Speaker 7: Yeah, be robots mens.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 7: So my my, my really good friend, he is in
- 7:06Speaker 7: a business partnership with Dana White on on something and
- 7:10Speaker 7: so he's with them all the time. Yeah, and he goes, dude,
- 7:12Speaker 7: this guy's life. I mean, and don't get me wrong,
- 7:14Speaker 7: my friend's life is pretty insane. He's he's he's doing
- 7:19Speaker 7: mega fine. But yeah, he's like for him to be
- 7:22Speaker 7: blown away by it's got to be.
- 7:24Speaker 4: It's nice that he's not jaded.
- 7:26Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 7:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:28Speaker 14: And then when he like opened the door to his bar,
- 7:30Speaker 14: he's like, oh, yeah, this is my private bar. When
- 7:32Speaker 14: he opened the door to the bar and in his
- 7:34Speaker 14: office again the bar could fit one hundred and fifty people.
- 7:37Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a.
- 7:37Speaker 8: Whole separate, huge room.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah. Eight seven.
- 7:44Speaker 7: You can hit us up with the text over to
- 7:46Speaker 7: two to ninety seven. Was that the coolest feature Greg
- 7:48Speaker 7: was the retractable roof, or like if you had to
- 7:51Speaker 7: pick one thing from all the stuff from his house
- 7:52Speaker 7: that you just saw in the documentary, like what.
- 7:54Speaker 4: He was Whoever, his designer is my favorite part because
- 7:57Speaker 4: I looked at his house on Google Maps and the
- 7:59Speaker 4: retract double roof is about one twenty fifth of the
- 8:03Speaker 4: size of the house, so it's only one major little
- 8:06Speaker 4: piece when you.
- 8:07Speaker 7: Look in the sky and you're only saying one billion.
- 8:09Speaker 4: The coolest part and I issue not his designer did
- 8:13Speaker 4: such a good job. And he had this one wall
- 8:15Speaker 4: that's like an accent wall, and the wallpaper was like
- 8:17Speaker 4: two dives for it was like.
- 8:20Speaker 7: They have a retractable roof in your favorite thing. Some wallpaper? Yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 7: good guy, color color.
- 8:26Speaker 4: I'm sorry, did I did? I just out myself as
- 8:28Speaker 4: being very very homosexual. The wallpaper was insane. It was
- 8:33Speaker 4: so the whole house. That's the takeaway.
- 8:36Speaker 7: I got to see this wallpaper. You know, this is
- 8:38Speaker 7: this is like you know people talk about, Oh man,
- 8:41Speaker 7: we really just to agonize over what to get the
- 8:42Speaker 7: kids for Christmas, and we got them all these really
- 8:44Speaker 7: cool things, got these really cool gifts and they played
- 8:46Speaker 7: the boxes. Yeah totally. They this big giant house and
- 8:50Speaker 7: all this really cool stuff. And Greg's blown away by
- 8:51Speaker 7: a I'm a simple Yeah, thank you. We're gonna take
- 8:55Speaker 7: a break. More wood, he shows next.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Hang on the.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Message.
- 9:00Speaker 7: We founded everybody the best Korean barbecue in southern California.
- 9:05Speaker 4: What's up, everybody? It's menace.
- 9:07Speaker 7: Try it for yourself and tell me I'm wrong. It's
- 9:10Speaker 7: called Mountain Sun. That's Mountain sa N. This restaurant is
- 9:14Speaker 7: the longest running Korean barbecue spot in America. Mountain sa
- 9:19Speaker 7: N Google this place highest rated Korean barbecue restaurant on Yelp.
- 9:24Speaker 7: Closes late at night premium meat, drink specials and free
- 9:28Speaker 7: multi level Barking Mountain Sun Barbecue. Get info at s
- 9:32Speaker 7: an Mountain dot com. The Woody Show, all right, welcome
- 9:39Speaker 7: back everybody. This is normally where we would do the
- 9:42Speaker 7: entertainment stuff. But I want to do a follow up.
- 9:44Speaker 7: We were just talking before the break. Greg was talking
- 9:46Speaker 7: about he watched the Netflix documentary Being Eddie about to
- 9:49Speaker 7: ed Murphy recommended Blown Away by his house god, although
- 9:54Speaker 7: he did say the most impressive part was the wallpaper, yeah,
- 9:56Speaker 7: and then the whole thing. But John, he has been
- 9:59Speaker 7: there before with a friend who was a friend of
- 10:01Speaker 7: Eddie Murphy. But I mean, this place is massive, SeaBASS
- 10:04Speaker 7: that he looked it up online. It looks like a
- 10:06Speaker 7: like a SPA resort.
- 10:08Speaker 9: Hotel, like something you go, you'd pay it two thousand
- 10:10Speaker 9: dollars a night for in can't come anyway, So that's
- 10:12Speaker 9: what got us on the topic.
- 10:14Speaker 7: But we did have a question on the after hours voicemail.
- 10:18Speaker 7: You know, after the show's over, the same number that
- 10:20Speaker 7: you call in with eight seven seven forty four Woody,
- 10:22Speaker 7: it becomes the after hours voicemail. And it's a question
- 10:25Speaker 7: for Greg when it comes to you know, home styles
- 10:28Speaker 7: and stuff.
- 10:28Speaker 16: Hey Woody Show. I was just listening to the podcast
- 10:32Speaker 16: and Greg was saying how he would never put a
- 10:36Speaker 16: Bob Ross painting in his house, and that wood paneling
- 10:40Speaker 16: and all that kind of stuff isn't his horse style.
- 10:43Speaker 16: And I've listening to the podcast for a long time
- 10:46Speaker 16: and I've never really heard Greg describe his interior design style.
- 10:52Speaker 16: And I'd love to know what Greg does like in
- 10:56Speaker 16: terms of design or the kay of things that he
- 11:01Speaker 16: puts in his home, just because I think we all
- 11:04Speaker 16: feel like Greg probably has a great style.
- 11:07Speaker 17: Okay, Greg, how would you describe your decor?
- 11:13Speaker 4: Modern but contemporary? Yeah, I would say contemporary modern not
- 11:18Speaker 4: so much.
- 11:18Speaker 7: But not like old timey, like not old charm. The
- 11:22Speaker 7: difference between those two terms because they mean the same thing.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, modern, I would say is very very minimal, uh,
- 11:30Speaker 4: straight lines, flat roof, lots of windows, whereas contemporary could
- 11:35Speaker 4: have modern elements, but the structure itself might not be
- 11:39Speaker 4: correct the straight lines, boxy minimal. I like a mix
- 11:44Speaker 4: of the two. My ultimate dream is Spanish. I love
- 11:47Speaker 4: this Spanish style white stucco, white smooth stucco that's key
- 11:53Speaker 4: with like a tile roof, not that like not that
- 11:56Speaker 4: coarse stuck smoochuco. And then I also like what nowadays
- 12:04Speaker 4: they call it modern organic, so monochromatic. A lot of
- 12:07Speaker 4: that material I don't even know what it's called, to
- 12:10Speaker 4: be honest, like linen and kind of cream colored white
- 12:14Speaker 4: stuff like that, very minimal.
- 12:15Speaker 10: But there was that one house that you like that
- 12:18Speaker 10: I think Mario hates. That's very like cold museum feeling.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that some people call that like brutalist.
- 12:25Speaker 7: You know what, people love it. I think Greg liked
- 12:26Speaker 7: it to it. I can't stand it, like I don't
- 12:28Speaker 7: like white cars, yeah, you don't, and white kitchens on
- 12:34Speaker 7: people love these white kitchens.
- 12:37Speaker 4: But you know what I got. I got swept up
- 12:38Speaker 4: in the gray craze of about five years ago, and
- 12:41Speaker 4: now I think gray is overdone. So you got like
- 12:44Speaker 4: gray kitchens, you got true And my house has light
- 12:46Speaker 4: gray walls and I'm dying to paint.
- 12:48Speaker 7: It see earth tones. Gregs tones, Like Moody asked for
- 12:53Speaker 7: how to describe my house.
- 12:54Speaker 4: I wouldn't know how. Yeah, what did you say, Gina
- 12:56Speaker 4: when you came over to the house.
- 12:58Speaker 7: You're like, what's it like to live inside of a
- 13:00Speaker 7: restoration hardware?
- 13:01Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 13:01Speaker 10: Totally Yeah, Woodi's house is yeah, very it almost like
- 13:06Speaker 10: you just smell like the restoration, hard work, like candles
- 13:09Speaker 10: and like yeah when you go in.
- 13:11Speaker 7: That's a That's how she described like interesting because I
- 13:14Speaker 7: guess that would yeah, that would fit. Yeah, but I
- 13:16Speaker 7: wouldn't call Greg Gregs.
- 13:18Speaker 4: No, I don't know met us.
- 13:19Speaker 7: We could probably help them with this if we ever
- 13:21Speaker 7: had a chance to.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Go over there.
- 13:23Speaker 7: The actually, yes, it's been to you Greg's house multiple times. Yes, Gregs,
- 13:29Speaker 7: I say Greg's new house. Greg, how long have you
- 13:31Speaker 7: lived in this house that.
- 13:32Speaker 4: You're in right now?
- 13:33Speaker 7: This month is five years. I've not been to this
- 13:36Speaker 7: new house. I went to the last one. I was
- 13:38Speaker 7: allowed of the neighborhood, but only to do his dirty work.
- 13:43Speaker 7: Neighbors in the trash can put them up on it.
- 13:47Speaker 7: So so checked out these and Gregs. If you agree
- 13:49Speaker 7: or disagree, these are the top home and lifestyle trends
- 13:52Speaker 7: for twenty twenty six. R Ready Yeah, gallery walls. So
- 13:57Speaker 7: it's all about creating a true reflection of your own
- 13:59Speaker 7: life and stuff in your space, possibly with framed art
- 14:02Speaker 7: and photos. As Searches for custom framing near me are
- 14:05Speaker 7: up three hundred and twenty nine percent. Searches for photo
- 14:09Speaker 7: booth near me have skyrocketed over two thousand percent, and
- 14:13Speaker 7: plate walls and vintage poster searches have climbed like over
- 14:17Speaker 7: one hundred percent.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I don't back.
- 14:19Speaker 7: I have a gallery wall on my plate.
- 14:21Speaker 10: It's a plate wall of plates, decorative plates of plates.
- 14:26Speaker 7: That's like literal. Yeah, God, Like that's dumb, like a
- 14:29Speaker 7: New Jersey sixties. Yeah yeah, all these are my Wizard
- 14:32Speaker 7: of Oz plates. I like a gallery almost Presley plates.
- 14:35Speaker 4: If it's to scale, obviously, if it's hung at the
- 14:38Speaker 4: right height, obviously, if it's clustered correctly, obviously, I like
- 14:42Speaker 4: it of abstracts. I don't like a family photo gallery,
- 14:46Speaker 4: says I just got married like a week ago, and
- 14:48Speaker 4: I'm still excited about the My.
- 14:51Speaker 7: Top home and lifestyle trends for twenty twenty six statement staircases,
- 14:55Speaker 7: it says people want to transform them with bold fabrics,
- 14:58Speaker 7: vivid paint colors, and uh tiled risers. This all seems
- 15:02Speaker 7: very throwback.
- 15:03Speaker 18: Yeah, it is cute though when you see it, but
- 15:05Speaker 18: it has to go with the right type of I
- 15:07Speaker 18: think Greg.
- 15:08Speaker 7: I think Greg little cluttery, though I think Greg agrees
- 15:11Speaker 7: with this one. The vintage inspired bathrooms. Yeah, claw foot
- 15:15Speaker 7: bathtubs to a vintage style vanity. Those searches are way
- 15:20Speaker 7: up retro tiling like the retrostyle.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Tiling, colored tiles, and bathroom love.
- 15:25Speaker 7: It says bathrooms are taking an inspo from the past.
- 15:31Speaker 7: Throba Okay, yes or no vintage.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Not a fan of what I call Christina tiles Christina
- 15:39Speaker 4: on the Coast from HG TV.
- 15:41Speaker 7: But they just redid one of the bathrooms. Remember you
- 15:43Speaker 7: made a comment on it, one of the bathrooms in
- 15:45Speaker 7: the White House and you like that, And that's that
- 15:48Speaker 7: was kind of very vintage because it was like marble,
- 15:52Speaker 7: you said, oh, because the old one just looked on
- 15:55Speaker 7: the coast.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Greg.
- 15:58Speaker 7: Greg made a common about it that was from like
- 16:00Speaker 7: maybe a few weeks ago, a couple of weeks ago something.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Anyway, No, no, she didn't remember that one. She's the
- 16:05Speaker 4: one that brought back all the busy, colorful tile.
- 16:07Speaker 7: And then and then wellness rooms are big? What does
- 16:10Speaker 7: that mean? Says beyond home gyms. These are about creating
- 16:13Speaker 7: space that help you recharge, whether that's adding a compact sauna, yeah,
- 16:19Speaker 7: cold bringing that up, dude.
- 16:22Speaker 14: They're selling saunas at costco like nice wood ones.
- 16:26Speaker 7: And then super cheap ones. I'm like, who is buying
- 16:30Speaker 7: a spot for yoga and pilates or here you go,
- 16:33Speaker 7: Gina a sound bath healing corner.

- 25:04Speaker 7: Very favorite soon to be retired news anchor. Yeah, the
- 25:11Speaker 7: announcement was just made here recently, Ladies and gentlemen, the
- 25:16Speaker 7: Jim Donovan.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Y, Hey guys from you.
- 25:21Speaker 7: Hey, oh man, congratulations first and foremost. I know we
- 25:25Speaker 7: were just doing like a little bit of texting, but dude,
- 25:27Speaker 7: I feel you. I mean, after however many years of
- 25:30Speaker 7: that super dark outside still alarm clock geez yeah.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Decade at two am. The alarm goes off at two am.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I go to bed at six. I'm like in a
- 25:41Speaker 1: nursing home without Jello.
- 25:45Speaker 4: You're not going to miss it at all, Jim.
- 25:48Speaker 1: No, not at all.
- 25:49Speaker 2: Not.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I'm running to the door with a smile on my face.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Come good luck, everybody.
- 25:56Speaker 7: You know we learned about Jim a number of years ago,
- 25:59Speaker 7: just from the clips that were online of covering different
- 26:01Speaker 7: news stories, like, dude, this guy's hilarious. Like we just
- 26:04Speaker 7: we just loved your your energy, your personality, your delivery. Yeah,
- 26:08Speaker 7: just the the persona and uh. And then we would
- 26:10Speaker 7: have Jim on the air and just kind of giving
- 26:12Speaker 7: us his takes on different news stores. And that's just
- 26:15Speaker 7: how he got our attention. But he is just a
- 26:19Speaker 7: just a just a really good guy. And I'm always
- 26:21Speaker 7: excited for someone to see, uh, to see somebody do
- 26:24Speaker 7: things on their on their own terms.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Man. So that's that's great.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I am very fortunate because you know the way this
- 26:29Speaker 1: business chows people up and spits them out. I mean,
- 26:32Speaker 1: I've had twenty two years here in Philly, Yeah, thirty
- 26:35Speaker 1: nine year career. I've always been employed, and I've always
- 26:39Speaker 1: made my choices, and you know, it's just the time
- 26:42Speaker 1: is right now. I mean for me to just you know,
- 26:45Speaker 1: step back. I mean a lot of it has to do,
- 26:48Speaker 1: quite honestly, with the schedule. I mean it's yeah, try
- 26:50Speaker 1: to normalize it as much as I can and convince
- 26:53Speaker 1: myself that this is fine. But every time I do
- 26:56Speaker 1: a story that says, you know, lack of sleep is
- 26:58Speaker 1: going to kill your You're like, I look at my
- 27:02Speaker 1: co anchor and I'm like, you know, we got to
- 27:04Speaker 1: get out of here.
- 27:04Speaker 21: We go?
- 27:05Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 27:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, Jim, you are a treasure. They did.
- 27:09Speaker 9: They try to like sweet talking, Hey man, I'll give
- 27:11Speaker 9: you the evening or the afternoon slot instead of retiring
- 27:14Speaker 9: because we need you here at CBS three.
- 27:16Speaker 22: No.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I mean they were very nice. So this date, believe
- 27:19Speaker 1: it or not, so my official date last day on
- 27:22Speaker 1: air is December nineteenth, but my official date that I
- 27:26Speaker 1: leave the company is January fifth, coming up twenty twenty six.
- 27:30Speaker 1: And in two thousand and eight, I wrote that down
- 27:34Speaker 1: on a post it note, Wow really on my desk.
- 27:37Speaker 1: It was during the recession, one of those days where
- 27:40Speaker 1: the stock market was crashing and our four own caves
- 27:43Speaker 1: were bleeding money, and I remember having my head down
- 27:45Speaker 1: on my desk and one of my colleagues walked by
- 27:47Speaker 1: and she said, you're not getting pulling your money out
- 27:49Speaker 1: of your four own k I said, leave me alone
- 27:51Speaker 1: in my misery, and I thought, I need a date.
- 27:54Speaker 1: I need a date to kind of focus on. And
- 27:58Speaker 1: then each contract that I signed just to me closer
- 28:00Speaker 1: and closer to that date. So my date is January fifth,
- 28:04Speaker 1: twenty six, so that I wrote down way back in
- 28:06Speaker 1: two thousand and eight.
- 28:08Speaker 7: So Jim like, how old are you now?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Fifty nine?
- 28:11Speaker 7: Fifty nine? All right, so Seabets, what were you talking about?
- 28:13Speaker 7: Because SeaBASS mentioned.
- 28:14Speaker 9: This, I feel like there's there's a principle it's been
- 28:18Speaker 9: floating around called financial independence retire early, meaning that you
- 28:21Speaker 9: you really really buckle down the first you know, let's
- 28:24Speaker 9: say ten fifteen years or so of your career, financial
- 28:28Speaker 9: independence retire of fire, so you fire people yourself right now.
- 28:33Speaker 9: Jim has clearly pulled that off to retire at the
- 28:35Speaker 9: age of thirty nine.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so yeah, yeah, well I will tell you now
- 28:40Speaker 1: if I were in my forties, that's the fire people
- 28:43Speaker 1: mine is all about fifty nine and a half. You
- 28:45Speaker 1: can get into your four what CA.
- 28:47Speaker 4: That's like, what kind of advice?
- 28:50Speaker 7: Because I think that that is a dream, first of all,
- 28:52Speaker 7: The dream I think for a lot of people is
- 28:53Speaker 7: just to be able to retire at some point right now,
- 28:57Speaker 7: to retire earlier, just to you know, what, what advice?
- 29:01Speaker 7: What advice would you have for people who are listening
- 29:03Speaker 7: who want to do what you're doing? Because not married,
- 29:06Speaker 7: no kids. I would assume like would be number one
- 29:08Speaker 7: and number.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Two, right, Yeah, so that's the easiest thing with me.
- 29:11Speaker 1: But I mean, just take advantage, take advantage of whatever
- 29:15Speaker 1: your company offers, yes, because I mean there's so many
- 29:18Speaker 1: different things before one came matches. They have health savings, planned,
- 29:23Speaker 1: flexible spending accounts, whatever they offer you that can possibly
- 29:28Speaker 1: allow you to scroll money away for longer periods of time.
- 29:32Speaker 1: And you know, every time you get a raised, then
- 29:35Speaker 1: put extra money in there, even if it's ten. I
- 29:37Speaker 1: started years ago when I worked at a network job
- 29:40Speaker 1: in New York. I wasn't particularly happy where I was,
- 29:43Speaker 1: and I remember just thinking, you know, I've got to
- 29:46Speaker 1: figure out some way out of here. And one of
- 29:48Speaker 1: my friends that was a manager said, just put money.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Start putting money twenty bucks a paycheck in a side account.
- 29:56Speaker 1: And she said, as that thing grows, you're going to
- 29:59Speaker 1: feel less and less stress because you're not going to
- 30:02Speaker 1: have the pressure of thinking I don't have enough money
- 30:04Speaker 1: to even make it through the next two weeks. And
- 30:06Speaker 1: I started doing that, and I mean within six months.
- 30:09Speaker 1: The boss that I was working for that used to
- 30:11Speaker 1: drive me crazy, he didn't bother me anymore because I thought, well, now,
- 30:14Speaker 1: at least I have a little bit of a gap. Also,
- 30:17Speaker 1: I don't spend a lot of money. I drive a
- 30:19Speaker 1: fifteen year old car, you know, And I'll probably do something. Look,
- 30:23Speaker 1: I'm retiring from television and broadcasting, but I'm not retiring
- 30:27Speaker 1: from life. I mean, I'll do other things, not necessarily
- 30:30Speaker 1: for a paycheck, but I'm sure I'll volunteer for some
- 30:33Speaker 1: nonprofits and do other things.
- 30:34Speaker 7: Yeah, sometimes you're gonna you're gonna stumble into something else
- 30:37Speaker 7: that not paying what you make now or whatever. But
- 30:40Speaker 7: there'll be there'll be something coming to busy.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Yeah, you're another third chapter. I mean. But before I
- 30:45Speaker 1: was in TV full time, I was worked for an airline.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I mean, so that was for one Yeah, can you
- 30:50Speaker 1: imagine God from from that?
- 30:52Speaker 7: I thought?
- 30:52Speaker 1: And that was several.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Years for People's Airlines if I'm remembering correctly, people Expressed
- 30:58Speaker 4: People That's right.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and then it became Commental and then became United,
- 31:04Speaker 1: which is now United.
- 31:05Speaker 7: Yeah, People's Express was the airline that my uh, you know,
- 31:08Speaker 7: my parents were divorced when I was very young, and
- 31:10Speaker 7: you know, I grew up just outside of Philadelphia, and
- 31:13Speaker 7: then my dad and the rest of the family was
- 31:14Speaker 7: in Pittsburgh, and so my mom had put me on
- 31:17Speaker 7: a plane by myself at a very young age to
- 31:19Speaker 7: fly to go see my dad in Pittsburgh.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Uh and uh and it was People's Express.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Was yeah, you'd pay on the plane, you'd pay on
- 31:26Speaker 1: the plane.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Well, I think my mom handled it before I got
- 31:28Speaker 4: on the plane.
- 31:29Speaker 7: But yeah, yeah, that Jim could have been one of
- 31:33Speaker 7: the fought attendants making sure that I got to my dad.
- 31:36Speaker 4: On the other end, we don't, we don't.
- 31:38Speaker 7: So we're talking to Jim down, our favorite soon to
- 31:42Speaker 7: be retired news anchor in America.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Again, we we just we just loved him.
- 31:46Speaker 7: But we're we're we're very we're very happy for you.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 7: So this this car, that that that you've been driving
- 31:53Speaker 7: for the last fifteen years, I mean, are you still
- 31:55Speaker 7: gonna drive it? Are you gonna get yourself a retirement vehicle?
- 31:57Speaker 7: And also my follow up question, what do you think
- 31:59Speaker 7: about the sideber truck?
- 32:00Speaker 1: Oh? God, no, you just can't handle.
- 32:04Speaker 7: Why do you say no like that? I agree with you.
- 32:07Speaker 4: I think it's it's ugly, ugly car.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I just it looks like some kind of space thing
- 32:12Speaker 1: and people, you know, between California. Who's driving around South
- 32:16Speaker 1: Jersey with that thing.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Himself?
- 32:22Speaker 7: We think, we think it's like competating for something. It's
- 32:26Speaker 7: definitely like one of those look at me purchases.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, that wouldn't be the top of my
- 32:32Speaker 1: list for a new vehicle. But no, I'm driving my
- 32:34Speaker 1: thing into it. It's transportation. He gets me from point
- 32:37Speaker 1: A to point B. And besides, in Philadelphia, everyone nicks
- 32:40Speaker 1: your car, scratches your car, keys your car.
- 32:42Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, I'm not doing that, all right?
- 32:45Speaker 7: So, uh, what is the TV station done for you
- 32:48Speaker 7: for this retirement? Are are they planning like some kind
- 32:50Speaker 7: of big like some going away not on the air.
- 32:53Speaker 7: On the air, I'm sure they're gonna do something. I mean,
- 32:55Speaker 7: like behind the scenes, like we're really matters. Are they
- 32:57Speaker 7: going to do anything to get a watch? Like like
- 32:59Speaker 7: what do you get on the way that long service?
- 33:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I did get an Apple Watch when
- 33:05Speaker 1: I hit twenty years nice. So I don't know what
- 33:08Speaker 1: they're giving me. I mean, if they're organizing something, I
- 33:11Speaker 1: know on TV they're throwing this thing the Five Days
- 33:13Speaker 1: of Jim.
- 33:13Speaker 4: I'm like, I.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Don't know what this is. If I gonna pull old
- 33:17Speaker 1: videotapes like when they tried to kill me with the
- 33:19Speaker 1: Hot Chip Challenge and stuff like that. Than that. Yeah,
- 33:23Speaker 1: I'm the only thing. We'll do it. I'm the only
- 33:25Speaker 1: They tell me things that, hey, we're thinking about doing
- 33:29Speaker 1: such and such, would you do suf I'm like, cure,
- 33:31Speaker 1: I'll do it. If it's good TV, Morning TV, I'll
- 33:34Speaker 1: do it. I mean it's like you know, he always
- 33:36Speaker 1: has and most other anchors won't.
- 33:38Speaker 7: He always has like specialty. He brings in ice cream
- 33:41Speaker 7: every week. Jim Jim is always known for his fun
- 33:43Speaker 7: socks that he wears. He posts on social media.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Oh, that's the one bucket list thing. That's the one
- 33:48Speaker 1: we're trying to get Guinness to certify. So right now
- 33:51Speaker 1: I have a little over fifteen hundred pairs of socks,
- 33:54Speaker 1: which is the current world record. I might get the
- 33:57Speaker 1: records like eleven hundred or so, some way ahead of them,
- 34:00Speaker 1: so believe it or not, after thirty nine years in TV,
- 34:03Speaker 1: that's the only thing left on the bucket list is
- 34:05Speaker 1: to get them to certify as the world's largest collections
- 34:08Speaker 1: of socks.
- 34:10Speaker 7: He wears this this eagle suit. After you're known for
- 34:15Speaker 7: so many things, Jim. I am concerned though, Who's going
- 34:17Speaker 7: to make the waffles when it rains?
- 34:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, the waffles when it comes to blizzards and stuff.
- 34:22Speaker 1: I mean, I could leave my waffle maker behind, but
- 34:24Speaker 1: they're too busy because he's out a way to be
- 34:28Speaker 1: able to make stuff loose.
- 34:29Speaker 7: Also, these stations, they keep firing more and more people,
- 34:31Speaker 7: and then the other people have to pick up the
- 34:33Speaker 7: slack because out they're hiring people to replace these people.
- 34:35Speaker 4: It's like it's just downsizing and downsizing.
- 34:37Speaker 1: But now everything's going to AI and virtual, so that's
- 34:41Speaker 1: the I was trying to get out before they put
- 34:43Speaker 1: me in our virtual studio because it would give me
- 34:45Speaker 1: a headache. I tried it a few times. I was like,
- 34:48Speaker 1: this is not right. I need an old fashioned desk
- 34:50Speaker 1: in the computer. I can't get here. But they've again,
- 34:54Speaker 1: they've been just absolutely great to I mean, I have
- 34:56Speaker 1: a good run, especially in Philadelphia. This town is the
- 34:58Speaker 1: best news town. They they're crazy. People here are crazy,
- 35:03Speaker 1: but you know they're crazy about the sports and their cheese,
- 35:05Speaker 1: steaks and everything else. But I just love them. I
- 35:07Speaker 1: would never have thought I would have had an amazing
- 35:10Speaker 1: twenty two year run here, but they welcome me into
- 35:13Speaker 1: their homes and I've just been just blessed from the
- 35:16Speaker 1: day I've moved here.
- 35:17Speaker 7: Well, they've they've been lucky to have you. We we
- 35:19Speaker 7: love you, and we're super happy and excited for you.
- 35:24Speaker 7: And what in fact, can you hang on for like
- 35:27Speaker 7: just one more second, because there are two there are
- 35:29Speaker 7: two news stories that I want to get your opinion.
- 35:31Speaker 7: This is like a good way to go out right,
- 35:34Speaker 7: And by the way, and even after you're retired, like
- 35:37Speaker 7: you're not gonna have much to do. I mean, so
- 35:38Speaker 7: can we can we call you from time to time
- 35:40Speaker 7: and just kind of check in?
- 35:41Speaker 1: Oh definitely. And now I'm going to be able to
- 35:42Speaker 1: listen to you all the time as opposed to just
- 35:44Speaker 1: the days that I have off.
- 35:45Speaker 7: Right, you're going to be dying to talk about the news,
- 35:47Speaker 7: I'm sure. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, Have you come in
- 35:50Speaker 7: all right? Jim Donovan from CBS Television in Philadelphia announcing
- 35:54Speaker 7: his intending retirement And just for old times sake, when
- 35:58Speaker 7: we come back, we're going to get Gym's you know,
- 36:00Speaker 7: a couple of these stories that are in the news
- 36:02Speaker 7: that'll be next here on the Woody Show.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Hang on, I'm gonna say.
- 36:09Speaker 11: The Woody Show, The Woody Show.
- 36:17Speaker 7: All right, So we got Jim Donovan, who's still on
- 36:19Speaker 7: the phone with us. Thank you for hanging with and
- 36:22Speaker 7: thank you for agreeing to to I'm sure your PR
- 36:25Speaker 7: schedule after the retiring announcement has just been just insane.
- 36:29Speaker 1: It's been funny. It's been funny reading the articles and
- 36:32Speaker 1: work they're using, and I'm just kind of like that,
- 36:35Speaker 1: sure they have the right people here.
- 36:36Speaker 4: I watched it.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been very nice.
- 36:38Speaker 4: I watched the announcement, Jim, that you gave that you
- 36:41Speaker 4: were going to retire, and you weren't overly emotional.
- 36:44Speaker 7: Your co anchor was very very sweet, Jim Jim l My.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Voice cracked at one point because I saw her off
- 36:53Speaker 1: the corner of my eye and I told her before
- 36:55Speaker 1: we were going back on air, I said, please please
- 36:58Speaker 1: hold it together because I and I saw up the
- 37:03Speaker 1: credit because I just adore hurt. Janelle is like the
- 37:05Speaker 1: best partner that I've had, you know, at that desk,
- 37:08Speaker 1: and you know, it's like a ballroom dancing. The two
- 37:11Speaker 1: of you need to dance at the same time, the
- 37:13Speaker 1: same speed. So I mean, she's been a great partner.
- 37:15Speaker 1: But yeah, I was trying to hold it together because
- 37:17Speaker 1: I thought, Okay, just get through this sonoloment.
- 37:20Speaker 7: Jim donov is our favorite news anchor in America and uh,
- 37:24Speaker 7: we've we've been aware of him for for many years,
- 37:26Speaker 7: have him on the show to talk about different news stories,
- 37:28Speaker 7: which I'm gonna do here in in in just one moment.
- 37:33Speaker 7: And there there are like I said, there are a
- 37:34Speaker 7: couple a couple of news stories that we want to
- 37:36Speaker 7: get your opinion. But if you want to give some well,
- 37:38Speaker 7: which is just follow Jim on social media and you
- 37:41Speaker 7: can find him. We we obvious see him on on Instagram.
- 37:45Speaker 7: He's uh, he's always there and posting his posting his videos.
- 37:49Speaker 7: And you can see the socks every day. Yeah, the
- 37:51Speaker 7: socks and the ice cream I've in fact that I
- 37:54Speaker 7: learned about it. There are a couple of different ice
- 37:56Speaker 7: creams that I didn't even realize were a thing, and
- 37:58Speaker 7: then it wasn't until Jim Donovan posted about it.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Yeah, ice cream Tuesday, very important ice cream teesdays.
- 38:06Speaker 4: Let me ask you the typical question.
- 38:07Speaker 7: I mean, you've covered a lot of things, a lot
- 38:09Speaker 7: of things have happened in the course of your career.
- 38:11Speaker 7: What do you think is the thing that you will
- 38:13Speaker 7: never forget, like the one thing, the one moment, you know,
- 38:16Speaker 7: was it a news event, was something that happened in
- 38:18Speaker 7: the studio.
- 38:19Speaker 1: There are three big stories. One obviously nine to eleven
- 38:22Speaker 1: because I'm from New York, and I covered that for
- 38:25Speaker 1: several weeks, went back to New York. Number two is
- 38:28Speaker 1: the Pope visited Philadelphia and that's when I was moved
- 38:31Speaker 1: over to the anchor deak. So that was my first
- 38:33Speaker 1: anchoring experience because before that I was the consumer guy.
- 38:36Speaker 1: And then I happened to be in England when the
- 38:38Speaker 1: Queen died and they left me in London for ten days.
- 38:43Speaker 4: That's right, I remember that.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, And I got on television using an iPad
- 38:47Speaker 1: that I nicknamed Izzy. It was knowlogically very difficult, and
- 38:52Speaker 1: I near my head nearly exploded every day, but it
- 38:54Speaker 1: was an amazing experience.
- 38:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:56Speaker 7: I mean, you've seen him, been party to a lot
- 38:59Speaker 7: of cool things in that time. All right, Jim Donovan
- 39:01Speaker 7: on the news, here we go, welcome back.
- 39:05Speaker 1: If I heat it up the syrup and like a
- 39:06Speaker 1: fond juice thing, he listen, I'm petrified of deer ticks.
- 39:10Speaker 4: We've got to eat here. People because there's a store.
- 39:13Speaker 7: Okay, well, the first story, and it's been one that
- 39:18Speaker 7: we've been coming back to a couple of times. I
- 39:20Speaker 7: thought of you actually because I remember the video that
- 39:23Speaker 7: you posted on your social media. Remember when you got
- 39:26Speaker 7: chased down by the bees at home?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and I jumped in the pool.
- 39:30Speaker 4: Jumped in the pool.
- 39:31Speaker 7: Yeah, you jumped in the pool. Now, I had heard
- 39:33Speaker 7: that you're not supposed to do that. It's really not
- 39:35Speaker 7: the way to get away from the bees, Like, you're
- 39:37Speaker 7: not supposed to get they'll wait for you.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Yeah, they'll be hovering and they'll wait above the water.
- 39:41Speaker 1: They'll cover above the water.
- 39:43Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I didn't know that at the time.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Yeah, but you do what you gotta do, all right.
- 39:48Speaker 7: So the story about how those monkeys got loose, right, Like,
- 39:51Speaker 7: we've been talking about this for you know a while now. Yeah, now, Jim,
- 39:56Speaker 7: would that be something that would make you nervous if
- 39:59Speaker 7: there were like these monkey's on the loose in the
- 40:01Speaker 7: town in which you live? Is that something that you
- 40:03Speaker 7: would be nervous about or just you would just think
- 40:06Speaker 7: is more kind of fun?
- 40:07Speaker 1: Oh? No, that would be I mean I live out
- 40:09Speaker 1: in the woods. I have skunks and deer and coyote
- 40:12Speaker 1: around here. Some monkeys, and they were old monkeys, weren't they.
- 40:14Speaker 1: They were so they couldn't move very fast. They're like me,
- 40:17Speaker 1: they were a pre retirement.
- 40:19Speaker 7: You wouldn't be afraid, though, face to face of the
- 40:23Speaker 7: monkey in the woods.
- 40:24Speaker 1: No, I'm afraid of mice, but I'm not monkeys.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Don't afraid Are you afraid of Are you afraid of bugs?
- 40:32Speaker 1: No?
- 40:33Speaker 4: No?
- 40:33Speaker 7: Okay, Greg, Yeah, I can't Greg Greg here on our show.
- 40:36Speaker 7: He's very afraid about it. In fact, he's he's afraid
- 40:38Speaker 7: of butterflies.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Every bug, you name it, I hate it. Yeah, but
- 40:42Speaker 4: is that weird butterflum Yeah, butterflies therapist for them bugs. Yeah,
- 40:48Speaker 4: he's he's afraid of all of them. All right.
- 40:50Speaker 7: So the next story that we have here for Jim
- 40:53Speaker 7: is this guy. His son had posted about this and
- 40:57Speaker 7: they got picked up on the news. He says his
- 40:59Speaker 7: dad was done dirty by Home Depot. His dad had
- 41:02Speaker 7: been working there for twenty seven years, decided it was
- 41:04Speaker 7: time to hang up the old orange apron and retire. Now.
- 41:07Speaker 4: Did he get a party, No? Did he get a plaque?
- 41:11Speaker 7: No? Any kind of recognition, none at all. The only
- 41:14Speaker 7: thing he got from the store, he got to go
- 41:17Speaker 7: home early, I guess that day, and he was given
- 41:20Speaker 7: a Snickers by one other employee and then some Oreos
- 41:23Speaker 7: by a different employee who were just trying to make
- 41:26Speaker 7: his last day feel special. And so people are now
- 41:29Speaker 7: blasting Home Depot saying that they didn't even do the
- 41:32Speaker 7: bare minimum and they need to treat their employees with
- 41:35Speaker 7: more respect. Now, let's just say you were in this
- 41:38Speaker 7: situation there at CBS Television in Philadelphia, and all they
- 41:42Speaker 7: did was say that you can go home early, and
- 41:44Speaker 7: then your coworkers gave you like a Snickers and a
- 41:48Speaker 7: pack of Oreos?
- 41:49Speaker 4: Would you care?
- 41:51Speaker 1: Not?
- 41:51Speaker 7: Really hid the same thought, I'm like, God, who cares.
- 41:56Speaker 7: I'm so dumb with this place. I don't need a
- 41:57Speaker 7: big shbag.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I think people put a lot of put a
- 42:02Speaker 1: lot of stuff into you know what the expectation is
- 42:05Speaker 1: and party. I mean, I've already told them, listen, I'm
- 42:08Speaker 1: not really big into parties. If if it makes them happy,
- 42:12Speaker 1: then that's fine. But I don't need and I don't
- 42:14Speaker 1: need any more stuff. I've got more stuff in my life,
- 42:17Speaker 1: like trinkets and stuff. And I'm like, what am I
- 42:19Speaker 1: gonna do? With all this crap. So no, I'd rather
- 42:22Speaker 1: if they could let me go a few hours earlier.
- 42:24Speaker 1: I'd be like, Okay, thank you very much.
- 42:29Speaker 7: I felt the same way because people are like really
- 42:31Speaker 7: on home depot about this. I'm like, first of all,
- 42:33Speaker 7: like you're retiring from home depot, Like you didn't start
- 42:36Speaker 7: the company you didn't like, like you worked there, That's fine,
- 42:38Speaker 7: you had a good job you apparently enjoyed. You were
- 42:40Speaker 7: there for twenty seven years, or you stuck it out
- 42:42Speaker 7: for twenty seven years. Either way, Like you've decided that
- 42:45Speaker 7: you're done and you're moving on. I mean, do you
- 42:48Speaker 7: at least get a bucket?
- 42:49Speaker 4: I don't. I don't.
- 42:51Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, so Jim, I mean, you know, for a
- 42:56Speaker 7: guy not married, no kids, I'm assuming you're already kind
- 42:58Speaker 7: of living in the house you typic. People in that
- 43:01Speaker 7: stage would maybe downsize, but you've spent so much time
- 43:03Speaker 7: with this house and doing all the remodeling. Are you
- 43:05Speaker 7: just going to stick stick where you are? Are you
- 43:07Speaker 7: going to relocate for retirement? What are you doing at
- 43:09Speaker 7: this point?
- 43:10Speaker 1: Not sure chances are going to relocate after I want
- 43:13Speaker 1: to enjoy the half. I mean literally, I've been renovating
- 43:15Speaker 1: this thing for seven years. Yeah. Right, So it's a
- 43:18Speaker 1: big stone house that just needs a lot of work,
- 43:20Speaker 1: but I don't need that much space. Two bedroom too
- 43:23Speaker 1: bad condos somewhere.
- 43:24Speaker 7: Yeah, still somewhere like in the northeaster. I think maybe
- 43:28Speaker 7: you'll do what to most people in the northeast do
- 43:30Speaker 7: and just flock to Florida, Florida.
- 43:32Speaker 1: I've actually looked at Florida, so I am potentially considering Florida,
- 43:35Speaker 1: a certain area in Florida, so looking at it, just
- 43:38Speaker 1: not sure.
- 43:39Speaker 7: Yeah, well, Jim, we're again, We're super happy for you,
- 43:42Speaker 7: and we appreciate you taking some time to talk with us. Again,
- 43:46Speaker 7: just just congratulations and.
- 43:49Speaker 4: Enjoy the last I appreciate it the last.
- 43:51Speaker 7: Handful of time. I mean I fantasize about that day
- 43:54Speaker 7: you know where the alarm clock doesn't go.
- 43:56Speaker 1: On post it note? Yeah, write it down on a
- 43:58Speaker 1: post it note and leave it up to the universe.
- 44:00Speaker 1: I believe that if you manifest things. I mean I've
- 44:04Speaker 1: every time that I've ever written something down on a
- 44:06Speaker 1: post it note and just stick it on my desk
- 44:08Speaker 1: in my office at home, I'm just like, Okay, I
- 44:11Speaker 1: need the universe to handle this. And it gets taken
- 44:13Speaker 1: care of. I don't know whether I'm just naive and
- 44:16Speaker 1: it was going to happen anyway, but I mean it's
- 44:18Speaker 1: like if I think, if people just focus on the
- 44:21Speaker 1: positive and just keep moving forward and let the negative
- 44:23Speaker 1: stuff drop, good things happen, and I mean everyone leaves.
- 44:26Speaker 1: I've never seen an unhappy retired news anchor before.
- 44:30Speaker 21: Guys.
- 44:31Speaker 7: I mean, my plan is, like you said, write it
- 44:32Speaker 7: down on a post it not, but I have I
- 44:34Speaker 7: have with this out there. I mean even even the
- 44:36Speaker 7: company that I work for knows this is like I'm
- 44:38Speaker 7: willing to commit to this schedule, like where you know
- 44:41Speaker 7: you're talking about like your alarm clock going off at
- 44:42Speaker 7: two o'clock in the morning. Same right, I'm willing to
- 44:45Speaker 7: commit to that until my kids get out of high school,
- 44:47Speaker 7: and right now, my daughter's in seventh grade, so do
- 44:50Speaker 7: the math.
- 44:50Speaker 4: You know, not too.
- 44:53Speaker 7: And then after that, like you know, I'm forty nine now,
- 44:56Speaker 7: so that's that's also good timing. But then, uh, not
- 45:00Speaker 7: that I wouldn't want to do something because I think
- 45:03Speaker 7: I might be a little bored you, but I'm definitely
- 45:07Speaker 7: not going to be doing it at these hours.
- 45:09Speaker 4: So that's my that's what you.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Want that's my post that I want to work to live,
- 45:13Speaker 1: not live to work. You want to work to put
- 45:15Speaker 1: a roof over your head, send you kids to school,
- 45:17Speaker 1: clothes on the back, food and the table of vacation
- 45:19Speaker 1: in return.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Yeah, my thing is I just want the kids to go.
- 45:22Speaker 7: I just want my I just want my kids to
- 45:24Speaker 7: go through, uh through high school, get through high school,
- 45:27Speaker 7: living in the same house with the same friends, like
- 45:30Speaker 7: because I didn't have that and so that that's why
- 45:32Speaker 7: it's important to me. But yeah, hey, if they fire
- 45:35Speaker 7: me tomorrow, kids are still going to finish out high
- 45:36Speaker 7: school where they're at right now, and uh, and we'll
- 45:39Speaker 7: figure it out. But Jim again, congratulations, We love you
- 45:42Speaker 7: man the big Can.
- 45:43Speaker 1: You appreciate guys and keeping touch your my favorite radio folks,
- 45:47Speaker 1: and I just thank joyce speaking with you over the
- 45:49Speaker 1: past few years. I call you my radio friends. Your mind.
- 45:52Speaker 1: It's like, I'm I'm not stalker like, but yeah, we
- 45:56Speaker 1: love it. Keep in touch. Follow the social media. I'm
- 45:59Speaker 1: going to continue your post things on there. Yeah, we
- 46:01Speaker 1: do our little Facebook stuff and those people get a
- 46:03Speaker 1: little crazy when they don't worry they'll post. I'll still
- 46:08Speaker 1: do them stuff. But happy holidays to everybody.
- 46:11Speaker 4: Jim I love you.
- 46:12Speaker 7: Yeah, Happy holidays and enjoy your last handful of days
- 46:15Speaker 7: there at the CBS TV in Philly, Jim Donovan, everybody.
- 46:24Speaker 4: And congratulations again to Jimmy Donovan.
- 46:27Speaker 8: Jimmy love that guy.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Happy, Yeah, I know, and dude talk about just a
- 46:34Speaker 4: guy just on his own terms. Great, that's great.
- 46:38Speaker 7: Text said, Uh, what did you admit that we only
- 46:40Speaker 7: have five more years of the Woodie Show? No, we
- 46:44Speaker 7: got five more years of this schedule. I don't know
- 46:48Speaker 7: exactly what that means or how that plays out. I
- 46:50Speaker 7: guess I guess we'll have to wait and see.
- 46:52Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 46:53Speaker 7: Now do we do we even survive the five years?
- 46:55Speaker 7: That's the question. That's the question. That's that's always a
- 46:59Speaker 7: qual lot to change and one month, one show, that's
- 47:04Speaker 7: that's that's how it goes. I saw something on that,
- 47:07Speaker 7: by the way, because I was talking to one of
- 47:10Speaker 7: the main you know, uh bosses at the company and
- 47:16Speaker 7: they were talking about how they navigate different things when
- 47:20Speaker 7: you know, uh, someone on the air gets in trouble,
- 47:23Speaker 7: gets complaints from people who will whatever they said, and
- 47:28Speaker 7: I liked what he had to say. And this is
- 47:30Speaker 7: this is one of the top dudes of our company.
- 47:33Speaker 7: So for what we do, I thought it was I
- 47:35Speaker 7: thought it was nice. He said, when when people start
- 47:37Speaker 7: complaining about whatever was said, unless it was something like
- 47:40Speaker 7: super over the top eguagious, like just bat like, oh
- 47:44Speaker 7: my gad, you're like.
- 47:45Speaker 4: What you are you serious? You propose that you said that?
- 47:51Speaker 7: Like, all right, that's that's one thing, But on some
- 47:53Speaker 7: of these things that people get like really bent out
- 47:55Speaker 7: of shape about right, He goes, all right, well, I'll
- 47:59Speaker 7: tell you what. All right, just start talking. Talk for
- 48:01Speaker 7: five minutes ago. Just start talking and they go, what
- 48:04Speaker 7: and start talking five five minutes and he takes he
- 48:06Speaker 7: takes his little phone time around. It starts and then
- 48:09Speaker 7: the person goes ah the blah blah blah blah blah,
- 48:11Speaker 7: and it just starts tmbling, just starts talking. He goes,
- 48:14Speaker 7: all right, now do that for four hours, but don't
- 48:17Speaker 7: offend anybody. Yeah right, Like you don't think in that
- 48:20Speaker 7: time you're gonna say something that maybe you would have
- 48:22Speaker 7: thought twice, like you know, in something off in hindsight. Yeah,
- 48:25Speaker 7: like in other words, like doing doing this.
- 48:28Speaker 4: We're having these conversations, it's in a moment you're you're
- 48:30Speaker 4: free flowing. Yeah, it's it's not a scripted thing. This
- 48:34Speaker 4: is not uh you know, uh a.
- 48:36Speaker 7: Play, yeah in advance, yeah, a sitcom. But yeah, we're
- 48:40Speaker 7: just sitting here chopping. You don't think you've never said
- 48:43Speaker 7: something where you're like, yeah, you know what, in hindsight,
- 48:45Speaker 7: maybe I shouldn't have said I shouldn't have said that,
- 48:47Speaker 7: or maybe I would have said that differently, because if
- 48:49Speaker 7: you're trying to formulate a thought in the moment.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Especially when you say something in anger, think about that.
- 48:53Speaker 4: In a real life you say things.
- 48:55Speaker 14: Were going, but I'm trying to use you to propone
- 48:58Speaker 14: myself by saying that you're right.
- 49:01Speaker 7: And they said that usually does it like when they
- 49:04Speaker 7: have that conversation, they go, guys, I'm not saying are
- 49:06Speaker 7: defending necessarily, but you know it happens. People say things
- 49:12Speaker 7: or they do things they don't necessarily either mean or
- 49:14Speaker 7: intend in the moment or upon reflection or hindsight whatever
- 49:17Speaker 7: you want to call it.
- 49:18Speaker 4: Yeah, or maybe they did mean it and they stick
- 49:21Speaker 4: by it.
- 49:21Speaker 7: Yeah, now I did see this new study has been
- 49:24Speaker 7: released and for some people this is not good, Like
- 49:27Speaker 7: people in this room, not good at all. If you
- 49:29Speaker 7: use a lot of filler words like uh and um,
- 49:33Speaker 7: it could be a sign that your brain is breaking.
- 49:37Speaker 7: So they tested spresh patterns of all these different people,
- 49:40Speaker 7: and the studies showed that those who either paused or
- 49:43Speaker 7: used filler words a lot tended to show the biggest
- 49:46Speaker 7: declines in executive function. We're just talking about that. Yeah,
- 49:50Speaker 7: we're just talking about that anyway, memory reasoning, problem solving.
- 49:55Speaker 7: And while they did admit they're using a lot of
- 49:57Speaker 7: filler words is also just a bad habit they do.
- 50:00Speaker 4: They think the more it see, the more and more
- 50:03Speaker 4: you use them, the more your brain is slipping. It's
- 50:06Speaker 4: it's breaking. It sucks. It's a weird phenomenon. I think
- 50:10Speaker 4: Woody and I suffer it from it the most. When
- 50:13Speaker 4: you know exactly what word you mean to get right there,
- 50:17Speaker 4: right there, and you get the concept of the word yeah,
- 50:20Speaker 4: but not the word yeah or a name yeah yeah,
- 50:23Speaker 4: Oh god, what's the we were just two seconds? Yeah.
- 50:28Speaker 4: That drives me nuts. It's crazy.
- 50:30Speaker 7: It's right up there with sneeze that won't come. You know,
- 50:33Speaker 7: you get right there, right right like it's right there
- 50:37Speaker 7: eight seven seven forty four.
- 50:39Speaker 4: But thank you for being understanding, and for those of
- 50:41Speaker 4: you who aren't thank you for the crossroads because people
- 50:43Speaker 4: love that segment too. So fun. What do they call that?
- 50:46Speaker 4: Taking lemons and making lemonade?
- 50:47Speaker 1: Right?
- 50:48Speaker 4: Sure? Quick break more what you show? Next?
- 50:50Speaker 21: Thing?
- 50:50Speaker 11: Back to the Woody Show.
- 50:53Speaker 7: And we have a game that we're going to play here.
- 50:57Speaker 7: This is a menace out in the back out where'd
- 51:01Speaker 7: you go?
- 51:01Speaker 4: You went to a I went to a flea market,
- 51:03Speaker 4: a flea market.
- 51:04Speaker 7: What's the difference between a flea market and a swap meet?
- 51:07Speaker 14: Okay, so flea market will have new and old goods,
- 51:10Speaker 14: and people just like purchased things with money. Now swap
- 51:15Speaker 14: meet people are like supposed to like trade goods, but
- 51:19Speaker 14: that doesn't really happening.
- 51:20Speaker 4: I was gonna say, is that how I.
- 51:23Speaker 14: And swap meets are supposed to be on a smaller scale.
- 51:26Speaker 14: But I see swap meets just as big as flea markets.
- 51:29Speaker 14: So I don't swap.
- 51:31Speaker 9: Meet would be where I'd find most of my like
- 51:33Speaker 9: a knockoff stolen merchandise.
- 51:36Speaker 7: I don't know, You're still find that a flea market?
- 51:39Speaker 4: Yeah, a little bit, yeah, a little bit of both.
- 51:40Speaker 7: Yeah, that's whatever they want to call it these days.
- 51:42Speaker 7: All right, So this is how much is that Old
- 51:46Speaker 7: Crab trademark original game from Menace. He came up with it.
- 51:49Speaker 7: This is, you know, a Menace original original game.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:53Speaker 7: So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to ask
- 51:55Speaker 7: people that are selling items how much is that old Crab?
- 51:58Speaker 7: But before we get the answer, I'm going to ask
- 52:00Speaker 7: the room how much they think can cost.
- 52:03Speaker 4: All right, I like that idea. That's a really good idea.
- 52:05Speaker 4: I think we could build on that anyway.
- 52:07Speaker 7: You hear their answer, that's right, right, right, So all right,
- 52:11Speaker 7: here's the first item. Okay, I see they sell a
- 52:14Speaker 7: lot of vintage Coca Cola products here.
- 52:17Speaker 4: Yes, how long you've been doing this for over fifteen years?
- 52:20Speaker 4: Fifty years now?
- 52:21Speaker 7: I got my eye on this cook machine here.
- 52:23Speaker 4: Can you tell me about it?
- 52:24Speaker 23: Yes, it's I think it's from the fifties. Everything is
- 52:27Speaker 23: in there. It just needs to be restored in good condition.
- 52:30Speaker 23: They're like five thousand bucks. It's really nice. It's complete.
- 52:33Speaker 4: How much are you selling this old crap for?
- 52:36Speaker 7: This is one of those like big old time.
- 52:40Speaker 4: Fifties.
- 52:41Speaker 9: Definitely takes coins, of course it has it has the
- 52:44Speaker 9: bottle opener built in.
- 52:46Speaker 7: Back to the future.
- 52:47Speaker 4: Yeah, that's cool.
- 52:48Speaker 7: It'd be cool to have like on your back porch,
- 52:50Speaker 7: you know, if you had like a big outdoor entertaining
- 52:52Speaker 7: area poolside, you.
- 52:54Speaker 4: Know, an outdoor kitchen.
- 52:56Speaker 7: I don't even use this, don't you just look at
- 52:58Speaker 7: it on a cracker barrel or something, you know, ye,
- 53:01Speaker 7: something like that.
- 53:02Speaker 10: Yeah, well he's not totally sure when it's from. He's like,
- 53:05Speaker 10: I think the fifties.
- 53:07Speaker 7: So it's not like he's some like experts exactly anti show, Yeah, exactly.
- 53:11Speaker 4: I mean it is the flea market.
- 53:13Speaker 7: I will say five hundred dollars. I was going to
- 53:17Speaker 7: say three hundred.
- 53:19Speaker 4: I'm thinking because I've gone to swap meets and stuff
- 53:21Speaker 4: where I see a table and I think, oh, that's
- 53:23Speaker 4: kind of cool, and they want a ton of money.
- 53:25Speaker 4: I'm going to say two thousand dollars.
- 53:28Speaker 7: Whoa he benchmark does this for us?
- 53:31Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 53:31Speaker 8: What do you say? Five thousand?
- 53:32Speaker 4: Right?
- 53:33Speaker 7: If it's conditioned?
- 53:34Speaker 8: Right, I was going to say two thousand and two.
- 53:36Speaker 8: So it doesn't work, No, no, that does it.
- 53:40Speaker 18: But it's able to be restored to working as as
- 53:44Speaker 18: this idiot is.
- 53:46Speaker 8: I'm gonna go twenty five hundred.
- 53:47Speaker 7: Twenty five hundred bucks. You bass twenty five one, twenty.
- 53:50Speaker 4: Five oh one. All right, let's find out how much
- 53:53Speaker 4: for this old crap?
- 53:54Speaker 7: What I mean, did I get?
- 53:56Speaker 1: Can?
- 53:56Speaker 7: I guess?
- 53:56Speaker 4: Sure?
- 53:58Speaker 7: I'll say two thousand and one thousand and one? Yeah, okay,
- 54:04Speaker 7: how much are you selling this old crap for?
- 54:06Speaker 4: I'm asking six fifty for it? What is your favorite
- 54:09Speaker 4: co Cola product? Favorite co Cooke? I'm actually a pepsi guy.
- 54:13Speaker 7: Really, wow, a lot of coke products here.
- 54:15Speaker 23: Yeah, actually makes more advertising than pepsi.
- 54:19Speaker 4: That's the reason why.
- 54:20Speaker 7: Okay, that's gotta be close without going over.
- 54:25Speaker 4: Yeah you so good? All right?
- 54:28Speaker 7: How much for that old crab Fleet Market edition? Now?
- 54:31Speaker 14: This next item are like little gnome houses that are
- 54:35Speaker 14: being built by this couple. Now I assume one day
- 54:38Speaker 14: this is gonna be Sammy and her husband.
- 54:41Speaker 4: That has steamboat.
- 54:44Speaker 7: William is gonna be the one like manning the tent.
- 54:47Speaker 8: Yeah he looks like yeah.
- 54:49Speaker 7: Yeah, so wait wait, So it looks like a dollhouse
- 54:53Speaker 7: kind of Gnomish, but a birdhouse. Look at your house,
- 54:57Speaker 7: but it's not kind of ginger British.
- 54:59Speaker 4: What would you do with put in.
- 55:00Speaker 8: A fairy garden?
- 55:02Speaker 4: Just are you put it on your mantle? What's a
- 55:05Speaker 4: faery garden?
- 55:07Speaker 8: People make faery gardens.
- 55:08Speaker 18: They'll be outside of houses or like outside in front
- 55:11Speaker 18: of trees, and you do, you'll have little whimsical fairy
- 55:14Speaker 18: furines in your yard.
- 55:16Speaker 4: Yeah, Greg, would you kill you? This house near mine,
- 55:22Speaker 4: the front yard. They changed it from like a nice
- 55:24Speaker 4: landscape yard. They put nothing but rocks, bird feeders, gnomes
- 55:28Speaker 4: and all that, and then a huge wooden sign retired
- 55:31Speaker 4: gardener her house.
- 55:36Speaker 7: So no, this is one house, is old lady.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:38Speaker 7: There, it looks like three little houses together, but this
- 55:41Speaker 7: is one.
- 55:41Speaker 4: Because it's one piece. Yeah, this guy will explain a
- 55:44Speaker 4: little bit more.
- 55:44Speaker 7: Okay, Okay, here we go. How much for that old
- 55:47Speaker 7: crab flea market edition?
- 55:49Speaker 4: Tell me about your booth hair?
- 55:50Speaker 3: These are fairy houses that we make. Uh, we've made
- 55:53Speaker 3: all out of wood.
- 55:55Speaker 7: Now can I ask you about this item right here?
- 55:57Speaker 3: This one right here is the only one here that
- 55:58Speaker 3: has led lights. The door is open, and there's furniture
- 56:02Speaker 3: inside a sea shell for a sink in their clow
- 56:05Speaker 3: foot tub and rubber duck. There's teddy bears laying on
- 56:08Speaker 3: the bed. It's a fun house.
- 56:10Speaker 7: How much are you selling this old crap for so
- 56:12Speaker 7: you can put stuff.
- 56:13Speaker 8: Inside of it that is elaborate.
- 56:16Speaker 7: You have to pay me to take it, and then
- 56:18Speaker 7: I take it right to the dumpster. Although why people
- 56:24Speaker 7: put up bird houses and things like that too, because
- 56:26Speaker 7: it just makes a mess of.
- 56:27Speaker 4: Your yard messy. I used to have a bird feeder
- 56:31Speaker 4: and it would get set everywhere. Forget it all? Right,
- 56:34Speaker 4: So how much for Sammy's future? You know what? Sammy
- 56:38Speaker 4: seems to know the most about it. So we'll go
- 56:40Speaker 4: with you first. I'm gonna say five hundred. I mean,
- 56:44Speaker 4: how do you put a price on garbage?
- 56:47Speaker 18: Is really difficult to make too, and there's a bunch
- 56:49Speaker 18: of miniatures in there, and it can get.
- 56:50Speaker 4: Expensive, not if you use tiny kid hands right and
- 56:53Speaker 4: foreign lands.
- 56:56Speaker 7: I'm gonna stick with my last answer and say three
- 56:58Speaker 7: hundred again.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Three hundred bucks.
- 57:00Speaker 8: I'm going to fifty put me down.
- 57:03Speaker 4: For two fifty one. Dang it, I'll go to fifty two.
- 57:06Speaker 4: We're at a flea market. Yeah, six fifty dollars, I know.
- 57:10Speaker 7: But they had to make it right, they didn't have Yeah,
- 57:13Speaker 7: I think that's I think that's the that's the thing
- 57:14Speaker 7: about it is that if it yeah, this is something
- 57:16Speaker 7: you can buy these and they were just kind of reselling.
- 57:18Speaker 4: Them random candles at the flea market and they want
- 57:21Speaker 4: forty six dollars. They overcharged see mask how much something
- 57:25Speaker 4: that goes outside? And I agree, if you think to
- 57:28Speaker 4: me it has thirty dollars?
- 57:29Speaker 7: How about that it has led?
- 57:32Speaker 4: All right? All right? What did you say? I said, fifty?
- 57:36Speaker 7: All right, let's find out how much are you selling
- 57:39Speaker 7: this old crap for?
- 57:40Speaker 4: Just them right here?
- 57:41Speaker 3: Six hundred? Talk about six weeks to build?
- 57:44Speaker 7: Where do you inspire to go after this? Are you
- 57:46Speaker 7: going to build a full scalehouse one day?
- 57:48Speaker 3: Well, I'd sure like to, but I may have a
- 57:49Speaker 3: hard time getting a building.
- 57:51Speaker 24: Permit to try.
- 57:56Speaker 8: Did he sell any.
- 57:57Speaker 7: Yeah, he's been selling. I talked him a little bit more.
- 58:00Speaker 14: He said that he's been selling these there for about
- 58:03Speaker 14: over fifteen years.
- 58:05Speaker 4: Six hundred dollars that I say, a booth of the
- 58:07Speaker 4: flea market costs all that we know. But you texted
- 58:10Speaker 4: if you know to.
- 58:11Speaker 14: Rent one probably like yeah, to be there bus or
- 58:13Speaker 14: something really to be there on the side of the
- 58:15Speaker 14: cell stuff.
- 58:15Speaker 7: Yeah, to get a little space.
- 58:16Speaker 4: I mean that got here?
- 58:19Speaker 7: Is it outdoors this one or into the outdoors?
- 58:21Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, alright, let's do uh, let's do one more,
- 58:23Speaker 4: all right, how much for that old crap?
- 58:25Speaker 14: Okay, now this is I didn't even know what it
- 58:28Speaker 14: was when I first saw it.
- 58:29Speaker 2: Is that?
- 58:30Speaker 7: And uh it ended.
- 58:32Speaker 4: Up being a knife?
- 58:33Speaker 14: And it looks like, yeah, like kind of like a
- 58:35Speaker 14: Miller Eastern style type curved curved knife.
- 58:41Speaker 4: And yeah, I just I didn't even know what it was.
- 58:44Speaker 4: It doesn't look sharp at all, looks like a pipe. Yeah, yeah, scampers.
- 58:50Speaker 4: Can I see the picture?
- 58:51Speaker 7: I gave you a copy of the pictures, right, all
- 58:53Speaker 7: these are the pictures.
- 58:56Speaker 4: Letters?
- 58:56Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, references.
- 59:00Speaker 7: So he's holding up from here, I'm like, and then
- 59:03Speaker 7: it's gray on gray.
- 59:04Speaker 14: It just looks like a Remember when before we started,
- 59:06Speaker 14: I go, here's a copy of the photo.
- 59:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm looking. I'm looking at the notes for the
- 59:10Speaker 4: audio for you.
- 59:11Speaker 7: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, my bad, my bad.
- 59:13Speaker 4: He never listens to me. Okay, So what's this guy?
- 59:18Speaker 4: He's just selling this. I was like, this is the
- 59:21Speaker 4: only thing.
- 59:22Speaker 2: What else?
- 59:22Speaker 4: It dropped my attention.
- 59:24Speaker 7: And a bunch of other rocks, and so he's selling rocks. Yeah,
- 59:27Speaker 7: he's selling rocks and artwork and stuff like that.
- 59:29Speaker 14: But this is like some random metal object that ended
- 59:32Speaker 14: up being a knife.
- 59:33Speaker 7: Okay, here we go, how much for that old crap?
- 59:35Speaker 4: I don't even know what this item is? I don't either.
- 59:38Speaker 4: You don't which one this one?
- 59:39Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 59:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that looks like a knife to me.
- 59:42Speaker 7: Well, it's probably it's Middle Eastern. Probably it looks like
- 59:47Speaker 7: it's made out of silver.
- 59:49Speaker 4: But it's not.
- 59:49Speaker 25: It's probably it's probably zank and copper. So that's the
- 59:53Speaker 25: best I can tell you on it. So a lot
- 59:56Speaker 25: of people like Middle Eastern items.
- 59:58Speaker 24: Yeah, so I bring them down.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: How much are you selling this old crap for? Well,
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: these people know nothing about what you're selling is the
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: flea market. It is not antique roadshow world.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: I mean, it looks like it's kind of fancy.
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: But he's the kind that if he says it with
- 1:00:13Speaker 10: enough confidence, like I don't know what that is, Oh
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: it's Middle East or okay.
- 1:00:17Speaker 26: Yea Honestly, after hearing his description, it makes it sound cheaper, yeah,
- 1:00:21Speaker 26: for sure than what it looks like.
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: Okay, I'm saying it as far as like how much
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: these things cost to be their seed mass eighty one
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: hundred and fifty bucks depending on the event. I've all
- 1:00:30Speaker 7: seen sixty dollars a day. But I guess some of
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: them require you have insurance for the day, which is
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: another two hundred dollars. Oh damn, you got to make
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: it least all of that. Put me down for one hundred, now,
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: one hundred and seventy five dollars. I'm gonna say eighty five.
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: I'm going sixty sixty one, fifteen five on twenty five
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: sea bass.
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: I'll go with two hundred. And I want to know
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: where you got it from?
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: All right, how much for this old crap? Much? Are
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: you selling this old crap for.
- 1:01:01Speaker 14: Like fifteen dollars as to sell here at the fleet
- 1:01:05Speaker 14: market art?
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Nice?
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: And I sell a lot of it.
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: Do you make it yourself or you you curate it.
- 1:01:11Speaker 25: I'm pretty old. I'm seventy two, and I have a
- 1:01:13Speaker 25: lot of older friends that are there in their eighties,
- 1:01:17Speaker 25: and they're saying, take this down.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: For us, so they die and stuff.
- 1:01:21Speaker 24: Enjoy your day.
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: Yeah, until with you an old friend, so.
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: They die. Yeah.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: I entertained you enough. I have other customers waiting to
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: buy rocks. Yeah that sounds about right. This is like
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: you're an old man or old woman and you have
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: nothing to do in your Yeah sure, yeah, so you
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: give it to this guy. Socialized dead friends to gether rap. Yes, yeah,
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: I'm mega getting Yeah. All right, well that's how you play, men,
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: this is original game. How much for that old crap
- 1:01:56Speaker 7: a worthless? Yeah, apparently there's a lot of racist stuff.
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: Oh yeah, it was.
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: It was talking about that. We we had mentioned that
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: we we had this coming up, and some like dud
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: who was that was that?
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: It?
- 1:02:09Speaker 26: Menji's the first one that saw something. He showed us
- 1:02:12Speaker 26: uh from an antique mall, I believe, yeah, and then
- 1:02:15Speaker 26: Bord saw something and then we all went and we
- 1:02:17Speaker 26: all found something.
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: Oh that's right, okay, yeah, okay.
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: So it's a it's a it's a Woody Show, Flea
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: Markets show and tell of some of the racist stuff
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: that you can find at flea markets, fun and a lot.
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: All right, So that's coming up next here on the Woody.
- 1:02:34Speaker 10: Show, get out, Get the hell out of my house
- 1:02:38Speaker 10: in Jesus name, I pray.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: You get in the day with a lot.
- 1:02:45Speaker 18: Also in the news courses say there's a possibility of
- 1:02:48Speaker 18: Woody hemorrhoids being back.
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: Than give you the latest updates.
- 1:02:54Speaker 11: One available is now more of the Woody Show.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: So for the for the Flea Market Show and Tell,
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: who's gonna go first.
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: M I thought it was Menji.
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: Bro Well, Menji has the I guess he kind of
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: got got things rolling. I know, dumbass tyler, he's got something.
- 1:03:14Speaker 7: Yeah he Menji coming in. That'll be a minute, Yeah,
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: that'd be a while.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: He uh, he moves kind of slow.
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: Yes, you know what, He's just a real chill dude,
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: extra chill. Yeah, he's extra extra chill. All right, have
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: you ever seen the Zootopia?
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: And then d m b oh man, it's it's it's
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: it's Menji. Everybody, we very rarely you hear the name,
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: but you very rarely hear the man. Might pay money
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: to watch him jog.
- 1:03:47Speaker 12: Yeah, okay, yeah, so you do you just go to
- 1:03:55Speaker 12: the flea markets or sucks to go around a different
- 1:03:58Speaker 12: you know, sale and different things.
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: And he picked upthing, how do you end up at
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: the flea market?
- 1:04:04Speaker 27: So this actually was a game that was started by
- 1:04:07Speaker 27: me and my friends. We were traveling around a lot
- 1:04:10Speaker 27: doing a lot of film and TV and stuff, and
- 1:04:13Speaker 27: we would always go to these antique shops and we
- 1:04:16Speaker 27: just started this game of who could find the racist
- 1:04:19Speaker 27: item first.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: And oh it was a game. It was a game, right,
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: So so you you have, you have something, I do
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: have some. Tyler, you've got something, and Morgan, you've got
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: something or.
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: Might it's borderline races.
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: Okay, well, judge, but I don't think that's okay. Here,
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: here's the thing. I don't think that we can be
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: the judges.
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: Well you can't. We're white. You can't sit. Yeah, you can't.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: We're white.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: We can't tell if something's racist. We can't speak on behalf.
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: So let's let's let's bring in. Let's bring in the
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: black guy. Let's bring Von.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: Yeah, come on in the sky.
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: Yeah, we'll bring Now, we're not gonna bring him the guy.
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: We're gonna bring him the studio here it comes, yeah,
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: all right, Now he moves a little faster than he jogged.
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: Bort actually has something too, and Bort's got something. Yeah,
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: because Bort goes these things too. All right, So Von,
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: you're gonna be You're gonna be the end all be
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: all right. We can make an argument, guys if we want. Okay,
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: that's what we think. But yeah, the final the final
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: decision maker here is the most racist item, either at
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: the antique store or the flea market, will.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Be up to.
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: I just remembers I just remember, like remember when Bert
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: Kreischer and Tom Sigurro kept trying to get each other's gifts. Yeah,
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: and Tom sigura for Bert's either it his birthday or
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: something he bought him Hitler's tea cup.
- 1:05:39Speaker 10: My god, Now do you guys, would you think that
- 1:05:43Speaker 10: might be a little inappropriate or are we not allow
- 1:05:45Speaker 10: are you guys not allowed to judge because you're not Jewish?
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: I mean, I think it's a hilarious gift to give
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: to somebody because it's I mean, it's a real thing.
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: And I'm sure and it's not like the money went
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: to Hitler, That's what I'm saying.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: I know that that's like.
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: A anytime, anytime something like that has brought up, but
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: you should It was the reaction, It was Bird's reaction.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: That was so funny, you know, a great point right there. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: And she's allowed to say that because she's a Jewish person.
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: You're allowed to say. Okay, but now we have permission,
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: thank you, thank you.
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: It was a bad person, thank you. All right? So
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: all right, what is it? What is the gouda menji?
- 1:06:20Speaker 27: Okay, so what I have I didn't even go in.
- 1:06:22Speaker 27: It was in the window store is a statue of
- 1:06:27Speaker 27: a mammy from Gone with the Wind.
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like the antemima kind of lady.
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: Yeah right, like the like the big it looked like
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: like it was like a figurine because the shirt underneath
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: folks like an old school pizza hut tablecloth. And then
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: it's got the big white apron with the big hat
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: and the whole big.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: White you'll probably better I see.
- 1:06:51Speaker 14: Okay, Yeah, I get their collectible Sammy collect them.
- 1:06:55Speaker 8: That's what I know about that.
- 1:06:57Speaker 14: Yeah, they collect them on plantation yeah, Una where people
- 1:07:02Speaker 14: collect them all the time.
- 1:07:05Speaker 7: All Right, I can't all right, you're right, all right.
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: So that's that's item number one. Uh and then what's
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: the next one here.
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: He's going to go through them? Yeah, I'll do mine.
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:07:20Speaker 26: It is a plane theme and it's an Air India
- 1:07:24Speaker 26: guy but he's mega Indian. But I will say the
- 1:07:29Speaker 26: credits in my neighborhood, this was the most racist thing
- 1:07:31Speaker 26: I could find.
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: In my Okay, so it said, uh yeah, it says
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: Air India. That's like the little pat platform pedestal. But
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: like it looks like something like straight out of like
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: like oh like yeah, like how would you But again
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: like it's got the head dress, the big giant black mustache,
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: like I don't even know what you would call. Yeah,
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: like the the the the Indian style like jacket, yeah,
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: the new jack jacket. Was this actually made by the airline?
- 1:08:04Speaker 8: I did not ask how was it?
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: Did the frequent flyers get this?
- 1:08:08Speaker 24: Yeah?
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: Bibblehead nights of the games, so they looks like a bobblehead, right,
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: because that's what he kind of looks like.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: Because of the actual airline put.
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: It out right at one point it was some kind
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: of marketing.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: I can see how much they're selling it for. They're
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: selling it for thirty eight dollars.
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: I thought about buying it.
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: I got the tag on there, all right. So there's
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: there's the second one, Vaughn. Take take a look at that,
- 1:08:29Speaker 7: and then a dumbmass Tyler. So this one is actually
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: from Brett. He can speak on it if he wants to.
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: We found a he found a video game that was
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: made I believe in China. Or you could play It's
- 1:08:40Speaker 7: Hitler's Troops in World War Two.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: Oh my god, oh god, that was a real game.
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: That was a real game.
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: Yeah, real game and it's only nineteen Yeah, it was cheap.
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: It was cheap. I did not buy it.
- 1:08:52Speaker 17: Wow, but yeah, So I found this at a resale shop.
- 1:08:55Speaker 17: I was looking for Japanese video games, and this is
- 1:08:57Speaker 17: for the Super Nintendo in Japan. It is called Barbarossa
- 1:09:02Speaker 17: and you get to play as Hitler's troops invading Russia
- 1:09:06Speaker 17: and with the goal of conquering Russia. So okay, but
- 1:09:11Speaker 17: I mean the entire thing is so pro Nazi.
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: Yeah you're saying, yeah, you're you're Nazi soldier and this
- 1:09:17Speaker 7: is you know, so they know it was bad exactly.
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: Yeah, there's enough time judge this one.
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: No, he's already the he can see be the judge judge. Okay,
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: So that's uh that that's Board's contribution. So these are
- 1:09:32Speaker 7: all either antique market or flea market items that people
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: on the show found to be racist. And now we're
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: gonna let Vaughan decide which one is the most racist.
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: So these last three are from me, and I should three.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: I should keep in mind I found these within five
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: minutes of being in the store.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: Okay. So the first one we have a black face
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: battle opener. But it's not good.
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: Okay, yeah good, Yeah, that is like old timey what
- 1:09:59Speaker 7: what are the call that what's that era called like that?
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: You know where they where they would do the minstrel shows.
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: Yes, Oh, I would have never come up with that word.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: Really theater you use the mouth that would look good
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: in your kitchen, Vaughn. Yeah, put a magnet on the back.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: Open up your malt liquor.
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: Next, uh, next up, we have something that can go
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: on your window seal. We have a young black lady
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: eating watermelon. But it is like the blackest thing you
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: could ever see.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: It's like a ceramic uh fig, like a super dark
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: skinned black lady, big bright red lipstick, and then the
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: most incredibly huge piece of watermelon and so disproportionately large.
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: And like just crazy like crazy eyes on this thing.
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: All right here, check that one out, Vaughn.
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: All right, and the last thing I found this was
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: the thing that was closest to the door. So I
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: don't know what that says, just straight up Nazi memorabilia, okay.
- 1:11:00Speaker 7: So yeah, it's a bunch of like flags and patches
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: and all kinds of medallions and looks like a key.
- 1:11:10Speaker 7: All right, So everybody else got to submit one thing.
- 1:11:12Speaker 7: You can only pick one of these things if you
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: have to play your favorite, what's your favorite?
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: If you have, if you have, what's my favorite? Which
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: one of the things did you actually buy?
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: Because you seem to go above and beyond.
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: It's not my fault that they were all like right there, Yeah,
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: which is the one you bought?
- 1:11:27Speaker 21: Yeah?
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: I did not, And that's his probably in your home
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: that you have like a feature light on a little
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: corner of the room. I will say you can only
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: you can only play one card.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: What is it?
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: Since we already have one Nazi thing? Uh, I'm going
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: to go with the bottle opener. I think that's the
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: bottle The bottle opener is pretty bad.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: I mean, the bottle opener is bad.
- 1:11:48Speaker 17: But that.
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: Was d.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: Was so that watermelon ladies out?
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: Wow watermelon? That wasn't very offensive to Tyler?
- 1:12:01Speaker 21: Yeah?
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: Yeah, Now does anyone anybody want to make an argument
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: for one of these items? Okay, well we uh we
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: have the the the first item. Fun hold that up,
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: all right? So that this is that's just like the
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: like the mammy, the mamulated this. It's out in front
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: of the store. Yeah all right, So that's a that's
- 1:12:28Speaker 7: item number one. Item number two is I believe the
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: is that boards video.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: Game video game.
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: Oh no, no, oh yeah from the air India. Yeah,
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: total stereotypical, like Indian guy, what kind of looks at
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: they half like, I don't know, it's like magic carpets
- 1:12:43Speaker 7: are an Indian but kind of looks like that, Like
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: that's kind of maybe what they're part of, part of
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: what they were going for.
- 1:12:49Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: Yeah, So that's that's out of number two racist flea
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: market items. Item number three. That's the video game Hitler
- 1:12:56Speaker 7: video where you get to play as one of Hitler's
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: troops overtaking for Super Nintendo. Damn, all right, I don't
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: number I'm number four, all right. That is the that
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: is the black face bottle opener.
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: Good god.
- 1:13:12Speaker 21: All right, so.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: Now you're Vanda Black.
- 1:13:17Speaker 14: For the people that like are unaware, can you explain
- 1:13:20Speaker 14: a little bit why it's racist? What is the like
- 1:13:24Speaker 14: the antemima thing.
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: And why would you need to explain that isn't all
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: kind of self explanatory.
- 1:13:30Speaker 14: I think I think it is, but some people might
- 1:13:32Speaker 14: not understand why that is racist.
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: Well, how about you make an argument for whatever you
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: think would be the most racist out of those things,
- 1:13:38Speaker 7: and then Vaughan once we get to his decision, then
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: he can explain maybe you know, uh, the reasoning behind it,
- 1:13:44Speaker 7: because I think that's maybe where your answer would come from.
- 1:13:47Speaker 7: But just make your make your pick for which one
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: you think would be the most out of the white
- 1:13:51Speaker 7: person that you are, which one of those you would
- 1:13:54Speaker 7: think would be the most racist?
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: Okay? Do you want me to do that right now?
- 1:13:57Speaker 24: Yes?
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: Okay, I thought we're gonna take a break back.
- 1:14:00Speaker 14: I would think the blackface one would probably be the
- 1:14:02Speaker 14: most racist because it is, you know, the bottle opener. No,
- 1:14:07Speaker 14: not because it's just a ball, it is a yeah,
- 1:14:10Speaker 14: the bottle opener is because it is a white person
- 1:14:13Speaker 14: in blackface.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Yeah right, okay, okay. And then the.
- 1:14:16Speaker 14: Second one, the antemima one, is basically I mean it
- 1:14:21Speaker 14: probably would be racist because it might be rooted in
- 1:14:25Speaker 14: which ones you pick?
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: Menace question?
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: I'm sorry, man, Okay, wat watch watch the adults with.
- 1:14:33Speaker 10: The bottle opener, because not only is it caricatury, but
- 1:14:36Speaker 10: you're using mouth.
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: Greg gory also the bottle opener because it has so exaggerated,
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: exaggerated features, big mouth, big eyes, and it's just obnoxious. Sammy.
- 1:14:48Speaker 18: Yeah, it's very close for me between the Hitler video game,
- 1:14:51Speaker 18: because man, that really is spreading evil, right, it's the
- 1:14:55Speaker 18: thought process of going, we want you to kill these people.
- 1:14:58Speaker 18: Whereas I mean, as much as the blackface bottle opener
- 1:15:01Speaker 18: is horrible, I don't know that there's as much malicia
- 1:15:04Speaker 18: malicious intent behind it from the time period that maybe
- 1:15:07Speaker 18: it came from, because that's just what I guess how
- 1:15:10Speaker 18: they did.
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: Every household had one.
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: No, I'm not thinking every household had some. I'm just
- 1:15:14Speaker 8: saying like it's from the past. This video game is
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: not from the vote.
- 1:15:18Speaker 7: My vote was for the video game for this whole purpose.
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: Like like an individual I think could have made the
- 1:15:23Speaker 7: bottle opener. It took a team of people, right to
- 1:15:25Speaker 7: make a video game and make it a.
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: Super and to kill people in the video game what
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: it is.
- 1:15:33Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm going with the video game.
- 1:15:34Speaker 7: At least the Nazis are dying in it, all right.
- 1:15:36Speaker 7: So men, it's based on what you just heard. Now
- 1:15:38Speaker 7: you understand the concept. Which one do you think you want?
- 1:15:42Speaker 7: The white person in the bottle open?
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: At least Nazis are getting murdered in that one. All right,
- 1:15:47Speaker 7: I'm gonna give I'm gonna give Vaughan a chance to
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: think about which one he wants to go with this guy.
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean just look sot like a like a Marshall.
- 1:16:08Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:16:09Speaker 26: His name is menace though he's kind of like a
- 1:16:11Speaker 26: menace in the streets.
- 1:16:15Speaker 11: The show.
- 1:16:18Speaker 7: The most most racist flea market item that was found.
- 1:16:22Speaker 7: And where was a dumbass tyler? Where was the place
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: that you went to? Somebody was guessing wittier it was unfortunately,
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: Oh my god, man his house.
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: It was no show three miles from my house. That
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: was so funny. I walked in and said, oh, dear lord,
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: this is so funny that.
- 1:16:39Speaker 7: The man the Texter nailed it all right. Time to
- 1:16:41Speaker 7: check in with Jeff.
- 1:16:42Speaker 11: Gain Nothing sports than with the g Jeff Garcia, Thank hey, good.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: Morning, Jeff g Hey, good morning. What do you show.
- 1:16:56Speaker 28: Let's go ahead and start with the Ducks this morning.
- 1:16:58Speaker 28: They got the dub last night against the Boston wins.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Harry ahead for Leo Carlson peals off the half fall
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: into the High Spiders.
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: Ducks and Lap Ducks and Senators. Tonight.
- 1:17:14Speaker 28: Kings also skate tonight up in San Jose at seven pm.
- 1:17:17Speaker 28: It is Thursday, so that means Thursday night football Bills
- 1:17:20Speaker 28: in Houston taking on the Texans bills are favored by
- 1:17:23Speaker 28: six other NFL news Shador Sanders finally getting his first
- 1:17:27Speaker 28: start Sunday versus the Raiders. That should be interesting and
- 1:17:30Speaker 28: probably the most covered thing on all networks ever, besides
- 1:17:33Speaker 28: the Cowboys and Lebron. NBA Clippers have lost eight to
- 1:17:37Speaker 28: nine games. They're going to try to write the ship
- 1:17:38Speaker 28: today in Orlando this afternoon at four pm. And speaking
- 1:17:42Speaker 28: of the NBA, I wish all refs were dishonest. Would
- 1:17:46Speaker 28: you show listen to what happened during a challenge in
- 1:17:48Speaker 28: the Bucks game.
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: Floor since we have no idea who knocked the ball
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: out of.
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: Bells at the jump ball center, So any two no
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: Walter is challenging that ruling since.
- 1:17:57Speaker 28: We have no idea who knocked it out even after
- 1:17:59Speaker 28: looking at you play.
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: We'll just dump the ball? Why not? Man, I'm jeffg
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: And that's so cal sports.
- 1:18:04Speaker 7: All right, Jeff gybody, you can move on the floor,
- 1:18:08Speaker 7: you know you can.
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: You can choose something or whatever.
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: Man, you crap in my mad Yeah that might be
- 1:18:14Speaker 7: a deal.
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: And now more of the Woodie Show.
- 1:18:20Speaker 7: So we started the whole hour with MENACE's trademark original game.
- 1:18:25Speaker 7: How much to that old crab flea Market edition. And
- 1:18:28Speaker 7: then Menji told us about this game that he and
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: his friends have where they you know, see antique stores
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: or flea markets and they try to find whatever the
- 1:18:38Speaker 7: most racist item that's being sold there. And then man
- 1:18:42Speaker 7: dumba ass Tyler hit the mother law. He came in
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: here with multiple, multiple examples, excited for this assignment achiever.
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:18:51Speaker 7: So yeah, Morgan found something, Bort found something, and so
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: we we have them all with Vaughan, who is who's
- 1:19:00Speaker 7: been going over the different options to figure out. Let's
- 1:19:04Speaker 7: just let's just recap the the four items are. Item
- 1:19:07Speaker 7: number one is the like the the Mommy Mammy statue, Yeah,
- 1:19:13Speaker 7: statue outside that was right outside. It was right next
- 1:19:15Speaker 7: to the gnomes and all the other crap that you
- 1:19:17Speaker 7: put out in front of your house. So that's item
- 1:19:19Speaker 7: number one. Item number two was the the the air India.
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: Dude on you know, how would you describe that? Guy?
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: I wouldn't even still fully understand what it is. It's
- 1:19:33Speaker 4: just an ad for an airline. It's a man in
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: India gar.
- 1:19:37Speaker 7: Little figurine, yeah, a bibblehorn yeah, with a turbine and
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: abrew jacket.
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: It's just a complete stereotype top to bottom.
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: We don't know if it was put out by the
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: airline or not.
- 1:19:49Speaker 7: And then the next item was the the video game
- 1:19:52Speaker 7: a Super Nintendo, an actual Super Nintendo video game Japan, Japan,
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: Super Nintendo. Was it China, China, I'm saying, or just
- 1:20:03Speaker 7: chimed in Japan? And uh, this is where you get
- 1:20:07Speaker 7: to play as one of Hitler's soldiers. Overtaking Russia is
- 1:20:10Speaker 7: the object of.
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: The game sticker.
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: And then the next the next item was the black
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: face bottle open. I mean, like minstrel show straight up, So, von,
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: what are your thoughts? Kind of walk us through? Start
- 1:20:29Speaker 7: with the last place once, the least race.
- 1:20:33Speaker 24: Least racist. I'm gonna go with the.
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: Thing just because I win.
- 1:20:39Speaker 13: I'm not even totally sure what this is, but it
- 1:20:41Speaker 13: doesn't seem like too much of a caricature, you know.
- 1:20:46Speaker 13: It has the turbine, which just seems like a natural,
- 1:20:49Speaker 13: unnatural but a cultural cultural thing of their or whatever.
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: So all right, that's the least races least races.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:21:00Speaker 13: Next second, I'm gonna go with the mammy doll. Actually
- 1:21:04Speaker 13: the mammy dolls, Yeah so funny. My mom has had
- 1:21:06Speaker 13: this one of these in our house for my entire life.
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: Really.
- 1:21:09Speaker 13: Yeah, so like she's had kind of a picture of
- 1:21:11Speaker 13: it now, but she's uh nice.
- 1:21:12Speaker 7: So what what would be racist about that? That was
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: MENACE's question. What would be racist about it? Yeah, is
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: uh probably if someone not black had it, I would.
- 1:21:20Speaker 14: Say rooted in slavery, right, yeah, absolutely, Okay, it comes
- 1:21:29Speaker 14: from that.
- 1:21:30Speaker 13: It has the minstrel aspects to it, the black skin,
- 1:21:35Speaker 13: A lot of them have like a red lipstick on
- 1:21:36Speaker 13: them and stuff like that, and definitely like.
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: A servant of some kind. Yeah, the housekeeper servant of
- 1:21:42Speaker 7: some kind.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: So yeah, so it's down between those other two items,
- 1:21:46Speaker 7: and we have the Super Nintendo game and then the
- 1:21:48Speaker 7: black face bottle opener. Yes, and Vaughan, which one did
- 1:21:52Speaker 7: you decide is the most racist from all the different
- 1:21:56Speaker 7: antique store and flea market items the Olympics of Suffering?
- 1:22:00Speaker 13: Yeah, all right, in the Struggle Olympics, we're going with
- 1:22:04Speaker 13: the black face bottle opener.
- 1:22:07Speaker 21: Yeah.
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: There it is as a thousand percent just deplorable.
- 1:22:12Speaker 13: As someone said earlier, using the mouth open the bottle
- 1:22:15Speaker 13: is like just dehumanizing and stuff like that.
- 1:22:18Speaker 7: And oh if I could open a bottle with my
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: mouth I think that made it pretty cool that, you know,
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: people have all these different ways to open bottles. A
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: bottle open around, I don't stuff is pretty cool.
- 1:22:27Speaker 10: Yeah, although you make a good point, Woodie, this is
- 1:22:29Speaker 10: mass the Nintenda game is mass produced by the biggest
- 1:22:33Speaker 10: video game company in the world.
- 1:22:34Speaker 7: There was a lot of people involved in it. Like again,
- 1:22:36Speaker 7: there could be like some person in their garage that
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: made this, yeah for sure, you know, for.
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: Sure, but also coming behind it. Just on that.
- 1:22:43Speaker 13: I do think there's like a lot of video games
- 1:22:45Speaker 13: even out now that like promote people to like, you know,
- 1:22:49Speaker 13: kill other.
- 1:22:50Speaker 7: Yeah, making some warfare. What about like grand Theft even
- 1:22:54Speaker 7: though it's not there's not a race element to it.
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: But there's not a Nazi games.
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: Like Call of Dudes rooted in truth.
- 1:23:04Speaker 18: Yeah, I think if we were watching the video game happen,
- 1:23:07Speaker 18: we might feel a little bit differently.
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: Yeah, absolutely, one sure.
- 1:23:11Speaker 24: Yeah, you know, and you can probably lose on your own,
- 1:23:13Speaker 24: you know.
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: So Yeah all right, well, Vaughan, thank you, thank you
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: so much.
- 1:23:17Speaker 24: Yeah.
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean I didn't feel as appropriate for us
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: to be able to make that decision as a group
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: of white people sitting here. We we have we had
- 1:23:24Speaker 7: to bring in the authority. Yes, all right, thank you,
- 1:23:28Speaker 7: thank you, Von Show and it's time too. I did
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: promise before the hours up that we were going to
- 1:23:35Speaker 7: award a pair of these Alter Ego tickets. Alter Ego
- 1:23:40Speaker 7: is happening in January, so sold out like immediately because
- 1:23:44Speaker 7: the lineups awesome with Green Day and twenty one Pilots
- 1:23:46Speaker 7: and Cage the Elephant, Sublime. Good Charlotte Miles Smith, Gigi Prez.
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: Almost Monday, and you're using the talkback feature on the
- 1:23:53Speaker 7: iHeartRadio app to tell us your answer to today's question,
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: which is what person your family Thanksgiving get together? What
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: person packs the most leftovers after the meal? Yep, and
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: takes him home with them. So open up the iHeartRadio app.
- 1:24:10Speaker 7: Type in all ninety eighty seven used the talk back
- 1:24:12Speaker 7: mike and leave a message. We have three people to
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: decide between for this pair of the tickets. Here is
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: your first option.
- 1:24:19Speaker 4: What's happening?
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: What the show?
- 1:24:20Speaker 29: This is Jacob from Calamesa. So my brother would piss
- 1:24:24Speaker 29: my wife and I off every year, him and his
- 1:24:27Speaker 29: whole entire family. They would show up completely empty handed
- 1:24:33Speaker 29: and then practically leave with a shopping car full of
- 1:24:35Speaker 29: everything that wasn't eaten, whether it was part of the
- 1:24:39Speaker 29: dinner or not. They would clean out my mom's refrigerator.
- 1:24:42Speaker 29: So frustrating. But that's yeah, that's it, all right.
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: So that's not just the leftovers and beyond.
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: Oh yeah, yeah, that's nomine number one, nomine number two, Hi.
- 1:24:55Speaker 4: With a show.
- 1:24:56Speaker 22: My name is Linda. So the person that packs up
- 1:25:00Speaker 22: the most in my house because I really don't have
- 1:25:02Speaker 22: family coming over is my best friend. She is such
- 1:25:06Speaker 22: a free loader. She doesn't even cook or even come
- 1:25:11Speaker 22: and contribute to bringing anything. But yet after the first
- 1:25:16Speaker 22: serving she takes, she brings her tupperware and takes mostly everything.
- 1:25:21Speaker 22: Oh well, that's what I get for having a best friend.
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: Okay, all right? And then uh number three.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: She's Phoenix from Pacentia, California. Let me tell you about
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: my Uncle Ramon. The man takes gravy, not turkey, that pie,
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: not potatoes, just takes gravy. I don't know what he
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: does with it. I don't want to know what he
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: does with it, but.
- 1:25:43Speaker 4: He takes it.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: He even takes the unquickd gravy home with him. We
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: don't talk about Uncle Ramone other than Thanksgiving.
- 1:25:50Speaker 24: Thank you.
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't know what uncooked gray powder powder you
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: warm it. Sometimes it comes to that you can get
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: some of the stuff that's in the jar. Yeah, he
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: just he just wants all the gravies the time I'm going.
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: I'm going number three gotta be gray.
- 1:26:12Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: Three.
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: All right, well number three, you're going all three ago.
- 1:26:16Speaker 7: I'll talk about Uncle ramone man. Take them with you
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: as we get into the eight o'clock hour. We'll have
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: another pair of tickets later in the hour. So you
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: have between now and nine. I would say to make sure,
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: well you have all day to go to the all
- 1:26:28Speaker 7: ninety eighty seven page there on the iHeartRadio app. Use
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: the talk back Mike answer the question which person packs
- 1:26:33Speaker 7: the most leftovers.
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: I don't care why you be listening, because you love it.
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: Be listening great.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: As long as you're listening.
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: This is the Hood.
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: Show, and we are into another new hour insensitivity training
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: for a politically correct world. It's the Woody Show, all right.
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: So we got the weekend audio. Sea Bass is gonna
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: have a bunch of stuff to share for us there.
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: Of course, anything that you like to tap in on
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: you can call in eight seven seven forty four. Wood
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: You can text in check in over to two two
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: nine eight seven on what that's great gory we got menace?
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: What Gina grad is here, Sea Bass is here, Sammy
- 1:27:11Speaker 7: is here and Morgan holding things down today? Yeah? I
- 1:27:16Speaker 7: do have I do have some sort of people in
- 1:27:18Speaker 7: trouble with the.
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: Law, bat by bat so starting with this one.
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: It was a United Airlines flight Dallas to Chicago. They
- 1:27:33Speaker 7: were forced to make an emergency landing after this guy
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: he decided to tell the flight crew that there was
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: a bomb in his wife's luggage. So they land, they
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: get everybody off the plane, The bomb squad did their
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: thing and of course found nothing, and they haven't said
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: anything about why he said that, just you know, being
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: a dick and wasting everybody's time, I guess.
- 1:27:56Speaker 4: And how much time did it end up wasting? Hours?
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: It was a five hour delay? Oh damn all because
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: this guy wanted to be cute, so he was. He
- 1:28:07Speaker 7: was arrested, taking the jail and he'll pay for that, right?
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: What's that he'll pay for that delay? I hope? Yeah?
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: I mean I don't like, how do you figure out?
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: How much?
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: Does that?
- 1:28:16Speaker 21: You know?
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: But what is it pay? Meeting?
- 1:28:18Speaker 7: Like you're gonna be punished he was arrested.
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, six figures easy. Yeah.
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: We never talked about that. They should pay for that
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: wasting resources.
- 1:28:26Speaker 4: I mean they do.
- 1:28:26Speaker 7: If they do like a search and rescue thing, they'll
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: have you know, the cost of whatever, you know, the
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: the fuel for the helicopters, and the bill.
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: Yeah, they send you the bill for that stuff. Affordable.
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: Another guy, bad boys.
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: Cops in Florida saw a car just all over the map,
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: driving recklessly, swerving, crossing lanes, driving in the oncoming traffic.
- 1:28:45Speaker 7: So they they pulled a car over and as soon
- 1:28:47Speaker 7: as they walked up they could see the open containers
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: there on the car. The dude behind the wheel, he
- 1:28:53Speaker 7: gets out.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: They went to give him the you know, field sobriety check.
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: They asked him to keep his eye on their finger,
- 1:29:00Speaker 7: and this is what he said. When they do that,
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: he says, quote, I've always had a problem with my
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: my my E F D E F E I will
- 1:29:11Speaker 7: What the hell is that. Here's a here's a little
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: clip from the police officer body cam.
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: If he lets go of you, you're gonna fall over
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: because I'm not even gonna try.
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: Just follow the tip my finger with your eyes and
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: your eyes only. Don't move your head.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: I see your finger.
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: Follow you gotta track my finger.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: That's where I've always had a problem.
- 1:29:33Speaker 22: My e E what.
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: Is your e F D.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: Have her.
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: One of those? We do believe you're impaired, Yeah, we do.
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: Anyway, according to the article, what he met was executive
- 1:29:51Speaker 7: function disorder.
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: Doesn't matter.
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: The guy was arrested and uh the cops found out
- 1:29:56Speaker 7: to nobody surprised that he had prior d u I
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: and he was driving with his suspended license.
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:03Speaker 8: Have you ever done the finger thing for fun?
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: By the way, I've done some finger in if you
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: do it with.
- 1:30:08Speaker 18: Your friends when you're drinking.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: Finger your friends. Yeah.
- 1:30:11Speaker 18: What happens is when you have them follow it, their
- 1:30:13Speaker 18: eyes will start twitching when it gets to the corners.
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: That's how you can tell someone's drunk. So it's a
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: fun test. I only did it with a cop once
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: and it was not fun the cop as well. All right,
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: So finally bad boys in the news. This guy in Georgia,
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: he just got busted. He was stealing manhole covers. Why
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: guess how many one forty one. We just had that
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: story about all the smoke detectors getting stolen.
- 1:30:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I think I'll be gassed out by two Yeah, yeah,
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: forty one sixty nine, good guess Sammy. According to the cops,
- 1:30:51Speaker 7: at least ninety one. And here's here's the other thing.
- 1:30:55Speaker 7: It's really impressive. That's just in one month. In one month?
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: Are that many?
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: Maybe he's building something out of them? Are they made
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: out of copper?
- 1:31:04Speaker 7: And we didn't know his his mugshot, he's wearing a
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: free Hug shirt. Oh good. Not sure why he was
- 1:31:10Speaker 7: stealing the manhole covers scrap yards maybe, but the police
- 1:31:14Speaker 7: report mentions that they weren't all just the smaller circular ones.
- 1:31:18Speaker 7: He was also taking those larger storm drain covers. And yeah,
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: so the cover they're so heavy he needs somebody else
- 1:31:24Speaker 7: to help him carry them. Wow, and put them in
- 1:31:27Speaker 7: the trunk of his super sweet twenty twenty Nissan Kick Dick.
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: You tell.
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: Yeah, he was seen on a bunch of home surveillance cameras.
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: He's been charged with theft to government property and more
- 1:31:41Speaker 7: charges are likely. It costs about two hundred bucks to
- 1:31:43Speaker 7: replace each one. Wow, And so talk about a guy's
- 1:31:46Speaker 7: on the hook and officials considering adding locks to them,
- 1:31:49Speaker 7: which would add about one hundred and eighty bucks, so
- 1:31:51Speaker 7: he might be on the hook for all that too,
- 1:31:52Speaker 7: So about thirty five thousand dollars? All right if that's
- 1:31:56Speaker 7: the way, Yeah, all right, so there you go some
- 1:32:00Speaker 7: I'm in in the news. We're gonna see what Sea
- 1:32:03Speaker 7: Bass has. The Weekend audio is coming up next year
- 1:32:05Speaker 7: on the Woody Show. Eight seven seven forty four.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: What he is?
- 1:32:07Speaker 7: The number and it's up with the text over to
- 1:32:09Speaker 7: two two nine eight seven.
- 1:32:11Speaker 4: Will be right back the Woody Show. Will be right back.
- 1:32:17Speaker 11: The Woody Show.
- 1:32:20Speaker 7: Alright, we are back and ready to see what Sea
- 1:32:25Speaker 7: Bass has for us as we uh check out with
- 1:32:28Speaker 7: the weekend audio. All right, Now Morgan knows the answer
- 1:32:30Speaker 7: to this, but you got to guess from this little
- 1:32:32Speaker 7: bit of audio why they beefit?
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: All right? Why are the beefing?
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:32:42Speaker 9: That was I'll give you a little more context. That was
- 1:32:44Speaker 9: in the crowd of the latest UFC fights where an
- 1:32:47Speaker 9: entire section started fighting a UFC fighter against Dylan Danis.
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: Is that his name?
- 1:32:52Speaker 8: He's not a UFC fighter, He's a boxer.
- 1:32:54Speaker 9: Okay, boxer Dylan Danis. And now why were they he
- 1:32:57Speaker 9: had Why did that guy have a whole section of
- 1:32:58Speaker 9: people screaming at him, lunch and kick in. He got
- 1:33:01Speaker 9: kicked out. He's brawl. Yeah, why were they beefing?
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: They were beefing with the fighter.
- 1:33:06Speaker 8: Oh yeah, Dylan Dan has gotten to fight with this
- 1:33:09Speaker 8: other group.
- 1:33:09Speaker 7: It's like fifteen dudes from Dagistan. Maybe because they bet
- 1:33:12Speaker 7: on him and he lost the fight.
- 1:33:14Speaker 8: Well, he's not a UFC fighter.
- 1:33:15Speaker 7: And they were all in the crowd again in.
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: The cress, say that he threw something. No, they tried
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: to get his attention by like high fiving him, and
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: he didn't want to be touched.
- 1:33:24Speaker 7: Okay, that's good. His pants weren't tight enough and he
- 1:33:28Speaker 7: couldn't see if he was circumcised or not.
- 1:33:29Speaker 9: Hey, I not the Dakastani's are circumcised. Uh the correct answer?
- 1:33:33Speaker 9: More you want to tell him?
- 1:33:35Speaker 8: You know, I don't.
- 1:33:36Speaker 26: Well, I know the beef between them because it's with
- 1:33:39Speaker 26: Islam's team and Kavie, but I don't know exactly what
- 1:33:41Speaker 26: started the fight.
- 1:33:42Speaker 7: Well, he showed them an AI video of one of
- 1:33:44Speaker 7: their fighters kissing another guy.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: AI.
- 1:33:51Speaker 7: And you know, the the Dakistan he's not too cool
- 1:33:53Speaker 7: on the even joking almost sexuality.
- 1:33:56Speaker 26: And they've had beef with Dylan for a while, right right,
- 1:33:58Speaker 26: this is just out of nowhere, and he's for life
- 1:34:00Speaker 26: from UFC events.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:34:01Speaker 9: Yeah, Daniel White doesn't like that, and in fact, there's
- 1:34:03Speaker 9: another thing that he thinks is a bad idea. That
- 1:34:06Speaker 9: is the upcoming Jake Paul fight. He was asked about
- 1:34:08Speaker 9: that at his press conference.
- 1:34:10Speaker 21: Jesus, that's a bad idea. That's a bad idea. But
- 1:34:17Speaker 21: let me tell you what a lot of people watch
- 1:34:19Speaker 21: that one. You know what everybody's tuning in for on
- 1:34:22Speaker 21: that one. Yeah, I think everybody's gonna get what they
- 1:34:25Speaker 21: finally been waiting for.
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: Is that for him to lose.
- 1:34:29Speaker 9: So this is versus Anthony Joshua, and Anthony Joshua has
- 1:34:32Speaker 9: held boxing titles in the heavyweight division. He almost beat
- 1:34:35Speaker 9: a lot of the current heavyweights, Fury and other folks
- 1:34:38Speaker 9: up there.
- 1:34:39Speaker 4: He's a monster.
- 1:34:41Speaker 26: Fighting for real, Like these are all fixed? Is yes,
- 1:34:46Speaker 26: of course it is. Dyson has commented on why he
- 1:34:50Speaker 26: accepted the fighting money.
- 1:34:52Speaker 9: Well, that's the thing that they're saying. This is the
- 1:34:53Speaker 9: first actual Jake Paul fight that was fair. Jake Paul
- 1:34:57Speaker 9: did lose a boxing match to what's his face, a
- 1:35:00Speaker 9: actual boxer.
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: He lost that one.
- 1:35:01Speaker 7: Anthony Joshua is thirty forty pounds heavier, if not the
- 1:35:06Speaker 7: he's not the number one guy in the world, but
- 1:35:08Speaker 7: number top five right now, he's gonna cream Jake Paul.
- 1:35:11Speaker 7: He lost to Tommy Thory.
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: He will dog.
- 1:35:13Speaker 7: These so much. But so many people still think the arena.
- 1:35:17Speaker 9: Well see, here's the thing, at least with the as
- 1:35:19Speaker 9: as I called ahead of time, and all you dopes.
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: Were like, oh, but it's my class. He's a big du.
- 1:35:24Speaker 9: Anthony Joshua is legit, but he's not a name. That's
- 1:35:27Speaker 9: the problem. And that's so that's that's gonna be the
- 1:35:28Speaker 9: issue here. But I don't know as to the fixed charges.
- 1:35:32Speaker 9: This is a fully sanctioned fight.
- 1:35:33Speaker 8: It's you know, yeah, but boxing is thirty I'm calling
- 1:35:36Speaker 8: it right now.
- 1:35:37Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a sanction wwe.
- 1:35:40Speaker 8: Yeah like that.
- 1:35:42Speaker 7: I feel like I'm with you. I feel like all
- 1:35:44Speaker 7: like the boxing stuff is completely fixed.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:35:47Speaker 26: And if I mean again, Jake Paul, I'm calling it
- 1:35:49Speaker 26: right now. He will win and everyone be like, oh
- 1:35:51Speaker 26: my god, he won. Yeah, that's how it scripted this.
- 1:35:54Speaker 9: Week in audio, I'm moving on to this is something
- 1:35:57Speaker 9: more than Greg realm Greg, I'm sure as my magician lover.
- 1:36:01Speaker 9: You're following Oz Pearlman and his media tour that he's
- 1:36:04Speaker 9: been on for quite some time. His big trick is
- 1:36:06Speaker 9: this what he did here for the view where he
- 1:36:08Speaker 9: guesses your personal identification.
- 1:36:11Speaker 7: He's like a mentalist. He did the same thing. They
- 1:36:13Speaker 7: did a thing during football. They did it to like
- 1:36:15Speaker 7: Mcat McAfee, Joe Rogue. Yeah, they were big right now.
- 1:36:18Speaker 7: They were with the Rams and yeah they okay, you know,
- 1:36:21Speaker 7: let's let's see what you got here, Oz Pearlman.
- 1:36:24Speaker 4: No one knows my pin. You just said it.
- 1:36:31Speaker 18: Tell me, why would you say it on national television?
- 1:36:34Speaker 9: And I believe that's a real reaction because he did again.
- 1:36:36Speaker 9: He has done the same thing a dozen times now.
- 1:36:39Speaker 9: And Greg Oz Pearlman, yeah your name absolutely.
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: Yeah. These mentalists are way cooler than the magicians.
- 1:36:45Speaker 7: Even Yahn Sean McVay did. It was the same realm.
- 1:36:48Speaker 7: The head coach of the Ram, Sean McVay. Uh. He
- 1:36:52Speaker 7: they like he wrote down his pin number, yeah, and and.
- 1:36:56Speaker 4: And did that.
- 1:36:57Speaker 7: And then he did another thing with one of the
- 1:36:58Speaker 7: other players. Forget it, what a was and whatever the
- 1:37:01Speaker 7: answer was. He brought a black light over and it
- 1:37:04Speaker 7: showed the answer on the player's head. It was it
- 1:37:08Speaker 7: was pretty cool.
- 1:37:09Speaker 9: That's a little And we bring this up because what
- 1:37:11Speaker 9: you talked recently about knowing figuring out how these guys
- 1:37:14Speaker 9: do this stuff and the stuff where there and like
- 1:37:16Speaker 9: you see if you say oz problem he was on
- 1:37:18Speaker 9: like a g T a number of years ago. Is
- 1:37:20Speaker 9: they break it down where you could see that he's
- 1:37:21Speaker 9: got like hidden he's got hidden little markers or hidden
- 1:37:23Speaker 9: UV markers for like the thing what he's talking about
- 1:37:25Speaker 9: where he can like while he's like talking to you,
- 1:37:27Speaker 9: he's secretly scratching something through a piece of paper on
- 1:37:29Speaker 9: like carbon paper, the pin number thing, pin thing. I
- 1:37:33Speaker 9: should say, no one has specifically figured out, uh. And
- 1:37:37Speaker 9: the only thing, the only real educated guesses are that
- 1:37:40Speaker 9: he literally follows people around or has not he himself,
- 1:37:44Speaker 9: but he has private security because mentalism. And everyone who
- 1:37:47Speaker 9: does it'll admit it's not a thing he can't like
- 1:37:49Speaker 9: he'll be the first to say, I'm not a magician,
- 1:37:52Speaker 9: like he can't.
- 1:37:52Speaker 7: I can't say, Greg, is your pin higher lower than five?
- 1:37:55Speaker 7: And I can't look an that's what he sells and
- 1:37:59Speaker 7: I don't think that's true.
- 1:38:00Speaker 9: This week in audio, our next clip here we've got
- 1:38:04Speaker 9: Why are they freaking out?
- 1:38:05Speaker 7: Okay, I'll give you a hint, two hints. This is
- 1:38:08Speaker 7: inside a car and it's in Queens, New York.
- 1:38:10Speaker 23: All right, Oh my god, oh my god, Oh my god,
- 1:38:15Speaker 23: oh my god.
- 1:38:18Speaker 19: No no, no, no, no, no no no no, no, no, no,
- 1:38:22Speaker 19: no no no no.
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: All right, it's Greg Jason. Okay, Greg sing butterfly. They're
- 1:38:29Speaker 4: in Queens. So they see a rat and it's grabbing
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: a big piece of food or something.
- 1:38:34Speaker 7: That's that's big in New York, it's always like the
- 1:38:36Speaker 7: pizza rat.
- 1:38:37Speaker 4: Yeah, they've filter.
- 1:38:39Speaker 9: Yeah, it is a rat, but it is riding on
- 1:38:40Speaker 9: the hood of their car.
- 1:38:43Speaker 4: Just take a little ride.
- 1:38:47Speaker 9: And I say this to Greg and to these women.
- 1:38:50Speaker 9: This rat who's outside their car cannot get inside.
- 1:38:52Speaker 4: Yeah, it's true. Still gross enough to make it.
- 1:38:54Speaker 7: It's not kind of peel the top of their car
- 1:38:55Speaker 7: up and like it would have can help.
- 1:38:58Speaker 4: It helps if there was a rat on the hood
- 1:39:02Speaker 4: of my car, Gena, would I or would I not
- 1:39:04Speaker 4: scream and scream like a freak? And you would?
- 1:39:07Speaker 10: You would wrap your car around a light barb get
- 1:39:09Speaker 10: this rat off your car.
- 1:39:10Speaker 9: This week in audio, all right, what is your original
- 1:39:12Speaker 9: game guess that sound.
- 1:39:14Speaker 7: What is the sound?
- 1:39:15Speaker 4: What is this sound? Learn if you have dogs in
- 1:39:23Speaker 4: your car.
- 1:39:23Speaker 7: So let's say it sounds like a dog barking like
- 1:39:27Speaker 7: a dog in a drone. Oh, Gina, Now that that
- 1:39:30Speaker 7: is a dog, well, barking through a speaker in a
- 1:39:33Speaker 7: drone in Japan in order to scare off bears in
- 1:39:38Speaker 7: the woods. Okay, that's a big thing.
- 1:39:41Speaker 4: That's cool.
- 1:39:41Speaker 7: Yeah, here's a local explaining it. We are living in
- 1:39:45Speaker 7: the mountain and we are very, very familiar with the bears.
- 1:39:49Speaker 4: All the time.
- 1:39:50Speaker 7: And then why can't I, you know, avoid.
- 1:39:54Speaker 4: That in the first place?
- 1:39:55Speaker 7: And then that was yeah, pretty shameful us.
- 1:40:00Speaker 4: Yeah, you know what they're saying.
- 1:40:02Speaker 7: But I love that men who have drone with barking
- 1:40:05Speaker 7: sound of dog, no deal with bear?
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:40:07Speaker 9: I love how like shame is so such so ingrained
- 1:40:10Speaker 9: in Japan. I appreciate it, which is why they had
- 1:40:11Speaker 9: a clean country dance.
- 1:40:13Speaker 4: Yeah they did.
- 1:40:13Speaker 7: I was watching something they were talking about how like
- 1:40:16Speaker 7: even the garbage trucks, like it looked like it's their
- 1:40:18Speaker 7: first day, like on the road out the factory, if
- 1:40:21Speaker 7: you want to, like it looks they and then they
- 1:40:23Speaker 7: showed a picture of it like the garbage trucks looked
- 1:40:26Speaker 7: like they just came off the garbage truck factory line
- 1:40:29Speaker 7: like firemen. And I know they have a lot of
- 1:40:30Speaker 7: downtime there. Their trucks are always yeah, but listen and
- 1:40:34Speaker 7: the Japanese garbage trucks. Yeah, it's seriously even the back
- 1:40:37Speaker 7: of the truck, like at the end of the day
- 1:40:38Speaker 7: they bring it back to where it goes, they spray
- 1:40:41Speaker 7: it out and like the part where it has kind
- 1:40:43Speaker 7: of grabs it and pulls it and compacts it in.
- 1:40:46Speaker 7: It looks brand new, shiny spot.
- 1:40:50Speaker 14: Yeah, and it's like you know, when I was three
- 1:40:52Speaker 14: floors down in their metro system, which is completely clean,
- 1:40:57Speaker 14: do karfedi and crap every Yeah, my cell phone worked.
- 1:41:00Speaker 4: Weird. Interesting. New York City has a lot of that
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: now too, like not everywhere.
- 1:41:06Speaker 9: You know how Like there's rats riding again and puts
- 1:41:07Speaker 9: a car.
- 1:41:09Speaker 7: We're gonna take We're gonna take a quick break. We
- 1:41:11Speaker 7: got some more on the weekend audio. All right, welcome
- 1:41:18Speaker 7: back everybody. All right, so sea bass and the week
- 1:41:23Speaker 7: in Audio continues.
- 1:41:24Speaker 9: All Right, I've got a clip that I don't think
- 1:41:26Speaker 9: is gonna be long for this world. It's a guy
- 1:41:28Speaker 9: on a TikTok of all places called p o V Wolfie.
- 1:41:32Speaker 4: And what he does.
- 1:41:33Speaker 7: Is he helps out the homeless.
- 1:41:35Speaker 9: Okay, and I will say nice, and I'm saying this
- 1:41:37Speaker 9: that he's his account won't be around for long because
- 1:41:39Speaker 9: he does this by handing out piles of liquor.
- 1:41:42Speaker 4: And I saw this guy. Yeah, I think it's so happy. Yeah,
- 1:41:46Speaker 4: so it'll do it.
- 1:41:47Speaker 9: He'll take so I'll take a handle of vodka plastic
- 1:41:50Speaker 9: bottle so that he'll tape a cart and a pall malls.
- 1:41:56Speaker 4: That's cool.
- 1:41:56Speaker 9: So he did that like fifteen times and it was
- 1:41:58Speaker 9: a funny and cute and whatever.
- 1:42:00Speaker 7: Ha ha ha. Well his one of his latest videos,
- 1:42:03Speaker 7: he buys like a five dollars machetes off TMU, his
- 1:42:06Speaker 7: hands those out. Okay, I'm not down for all.
- 1:42:09Speaker 4: Right here we go there, you go need some protection
- 1:42:11Speaker 4: out here, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:42:12Speaker 11: Yeah, hell yeah, big gas, big as swords.
- 1:42:18Speaker 7: One, okay, big as sor into that the alcohol was fun.
- 1:42:25Speaker 7: To be fair, I laughed out loud when he started
- 1:42:27Speaker 7: doing that. That is, it is legitimately hilarious. Not something
- 1:42:29Speaker 7: we could do here because I would get fired. And
- 1:42:31Speaker 7: but again it's pov wolfy on TikTok. Get it while
- 1:42:34Speaker 7: you can, because he's number one.
- 1:42:35Speaker 4: He's doing his weapons and liquor. Yeah, it won't be
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: around for long.
- 1:42:39Speaker 9: This weekend audio guys, we got a new song, uh
- 1:42:42Speaker 9: menace the new SpongeBob SquarePants movie.
- 1:42:46Speaker 4: Ice Spice.
- 1:42:47Speaker 7: Oh yeah, she's singing the theme song.
- 1:42:51Speaker 4: No this, Oh well, here it is.
- 1:42:53Speaker 7: There's a new SpongeBob movie, and here it is, Ice
- 1:42:54Speaker 7: Spice with her song.
- 1:42:55Speaker 4: Big guy all.
- 1:42:56Speaker 30: Right, SpongeBob big guy pants okay, SpongeBob big guy hands okay,
- 1:43:01Speaker 30: big got, big got, big, big got, big dot SpongeBob
- 1:43:05Speaker 30: big guy pants okay, SpongeBob big dot cans okay, still
- 1:43:09Speaker 30: wake up on my best stretch. I ain't a jelly fish,
- 1:43:14Speaker 30: but on the catch like that fish. So pumped in
- 1:43:17Speaker 30: my shots blow bubblesto big like missus pump.
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: I'll be luck like notices all we're good.
- 1:43:23Speaker 7: I see you buying on your phone right now.
- 1:43:26Speaker 9: That was awful voice though, big guy, big guy, big guy,
- 1:43:29Speaker 9: big guy, SpongeBob, big guy pants.
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: Okay, well that's really good.
- 1:43:32Speaker 7: I've watched a ton of SpongeBob over the years. I mean,
- 1:43:35Speaker 7: I've watched a little bit here and there and when
- 1:43:36Speaker 7: it's been on. But like one thing I saw that
- 1:43:38Speaker 7: popped up on social media and I'm sure it's hell
- 1:43:41Speaker 7: old and it's just the last person to see it.
- 1:43:43Speaker 7: It was like all the voice actors acting out of
- 1:43:46Speaker 7: scene but like a like a live version of Yeah.
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:43:49Speaker 7: They're like they're like the crabby you know, crusty whatever
- 1:43:52Speaker 7: it's called the Yeah, and like ordering and spongebobs in
- 1:43:56Speaker 7: the back, you know, cooking. But it's all the characters
- 1:43:59Speaker 7: at the cash catch roster with the angry manager guy
- 1:44:02Speaker 7: whatever his name is, crab manager man, angry manager.
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: This is like when they dub it for you know,
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: Indonesia or whatever.
- 1:44:11Speaker 7: Yeah, but it was funny because I like, I like
- 1:44:13Speaker 7: all those things where you see the people who are
- 1:44:14Speaker 7: voice actors for these big famous.
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: Characters about all day. Yeah, it's super cool. Never seen
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: a frame of sp.
- 1:44:20Speaker 7: Ice, Spice, said Coachill. I believe, and she was terrible, but.
- 1:44:23Speaker 4: I don't care. Yeah, I don't care.
- 1:44:25Speaker 9: This weekend audio speaking of music, this this popped up
- 1:44:29Speaker 9: and I just said, let's check in on what's going
- 1:44:31Speaker 9: on with comic legend Jimmy Fallon and what he thinks
- 1:44:34Speaker 9: is funny these days. Well, apparently that is doing duets
- 1:44:37Speaker 9: with Ariana Grande. Here he is putting himself in there
- 1:44:40Speaker 9: doing famous duets with her.
- 1:44:41Speaker 6: Right, anything you used to do, I can do better.
- 1:44:51Speaker 6: I can do anything better.
- 1:44:53Speaker 4: They start with.
- 1:44:57Speaker 7: Singing, Greg he's been singing for how long? Twenty five years?
- 1:45:00Speaker 4: At least he has an album.
- 1:45:01Speaker 7: He has a holiday album. Yeah, I saw you like
- 1:45:05Speaker 7: side eyeing that?
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:45:06Speaker 7: Why is that funny?
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: You guys make fun of me because my favorite flavor
- 1:45:09Speaker 4: of ice cream is vanilla. Yeah, this is what I
- 1:45:13Speaker 4: think you think vanilla is.
- 1:45:14Speaker 7: This is as vanilla as it's inoffensive gat supposed comp
- 1:45:19Speaker 7: that's comedy.
- 1:45:20Speaker 4: It's just like there's no punchline, thank you. Entertaining though, Yeah,
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: is it supposed to be funny or is it just
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: supposed to be entertaining? But is it supposed to?
- 1:45:33Speaker 7: Benny can be entertaining.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: That's why it's supposed to be fun Entertaining doesn't have
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: to be funny.
- 1:45:37Speaker 9: Here's why it's supposed to be funny, because he's doing
- 1:45:39Speaker 9: Those are things you wouldn't expect. Arian and Grande to
- 1:45:41Speaker 9: saying you wouldn't expect.
- 1:45:42Speaker 31: Really, Okay, she's actually talented I would say that put
- 1:45:55Speaker 31: somebody else in her position there, that wouldn't work.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: Anybody could do what Jimmy Valle just did, right.
- 1:46:00Speaker 9: This is what James Corden did with his stupid carpool karaoke,
- 1:46:03Speaker 9: which some shows are unfortunately trying to repeat these days.
- 1:46:06Speaker 9: Is he shoehorns his untalented self in with the talented
- 1:46:10Speaker 9: people and he gets to pretend like and now like
- 1:46:11Speaker 9: Meniceta putting out an album. That's how James Corden got
- 1:46:14Speaker 9: that god awful position on Cats the movie, which.
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: Fine, take it?
- 1:46:18Speaker 7: Who cares? This week in audio, we got some bad news,
- 1:46:22Speaker 7: unfortunately for the Woody Justice fans out there. A home
- 1:46:26Speaker 7: owner in Indiana he was approached by a cleaning maid.
- 1:46:29Speaker 7: This idiot, well, this is Woody Justice. A woman who
- 1:46:33Speaker 7: didn't belong in a man I'll break it down even easier.
- 1:46:35Speaker 7: A woman who didn't belong in a man's house showed
- 1:46:37Speaker 7: up at his front door. He killed her because and
- 1:46:40Speaker 7: he said I'm standing my ground you. And apparently though
- 1:46:44Speaker 7: that wasn't good enough for the local prosecutor, the.
- 1:46:45Speaker 32: Boone County Prosecutor's office has filed one count, that count
- 1:46:50Speaker 32: being voluntary manslaughter, which is to normally kill while acting
- 1:46:55Speaker 32: under sudden heat as a level two felony. We have
- 1:46:58Speaker 32: determined that Kurt and since actions do not fall within
- 1:47:01Speaker 32: the legal protections provided by the Indiana Stand yourd Ground law.
- 1:47:06Speaker 9: Oh now, the reason I bring this up is because
- 1:47:07Speaker 9: what he famously said and and tripled down on the
- 1:47:11Speaker 9: woman who shot a man through her window when he
- 1:47:13Speaker 9: was in her driveway just kind of looking to see
- 1:47:14Speaker 9: where he was. He said, I'm at the wrong house.
- 1:47:16Speaker 9: And what he said doesn't matter. You're on my property.
- 1:47:18Speaker 7: I get to shoot you.
- 1:47:19Speaker 4: He was looking. So in this case, it was a
- 1:47:21Speaker 4: woman who showed up at the wrong house, the wrong house.
- 1:47:23Speaker 7: Guy said, you're on my property. I'm gonna shoot you.
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: Let's him looking in through the window.
- 1:47:27Speaker 7: Well, but you get he's standing on the driveway.
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: Who cares.
- 1:47:29Speaker 9: Maybe he didn't know what house it was. Same thing here,
- 1:47:31Speaker 9: she didn't know she was at the wrong hand.
- 1:47:32Speaker 7: You can't like look at the outside of the house
- 1:47:34Speaker 7: and go, okay, this is not the house. You're gonna
- 1:47:37Speaker 7: appear in the windows after you've never been before, like
- 1:47:39Speaker 7: this lady had and that guy had.
- 1:47:41Speaker 4: Again, what do you mean?
- 1:47:42Speaker 14: It was this guy like four foot tall, like you're
- 1:47:45Speaker 14: an extra bitious some ladies showing up is I get
- 1:47:49Speaker 14: the arm like a dirt devil, like tough guy.
- 1:47:52Speaker 7: I get I get this sort of comment on me.
- 1:47:54Speaker 7: All the times I say you with cardnarks, they'll say, well,
- 1:47:57Speaker 7: it's you know X y Z to stand your ground
- 1:47:59Speaker 7: state and if I feel threatened, I.
- 1:48:01Speaker 9: Get to shoot you. No, no, no, you don't get to
- 1:48:03Speaker 9: just declare that you feel threatened. There's a reasonable person,
- 1:48:06Speaker 9: are they an imminent and reasonable fear of their life
- 1:48:09Speaker 9: being ended on the in the damage? Unfortunately that as
- 1:48:12Speaker 9: we just found out with this guy, he's gonna go
- 1:48:14Speaker 9: to jail for a long time.
- 1:48:14Speaker 4: She had supplies with her. You can't just declare they're
- 1:48:19Speaker 4: coming right for us with the broom. Yeah uh this
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: weekend audio. Next clip here?
- 1:48:25Speaker 7: How do they owe?
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: A Sea Bass?
- 1:48:27Speaker 7: Original game? Actually copyright trademark? This is a man. I'll
- 1:48:31Speaker 7: just let you hear MAUI first.
- 1:48:32Speaker 4: All right, how they ali? All right? I have a
- 1:48:46Speaker 4: guess his ladder claps while putting up the Christmas Live.
- 1:48:52Speaker 7: He slipped in from his ring cam.
- 1:48:54Speaker 8: Yeah, I had to do with Christmas decoration.
- 1:48:56Speaker 9: Well, you guys are close. This is a very tough one.
- 1:48:58Speaker 9: I'm going to say, this is a a shirtless fifty
- 1:49:01Speaker 9: something on his roller blades.
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: Oh not cool.
- 1:49:06Speaker 7: Not on his own ring camp, but a neighbor's ring
- 1:49:08Speaker 7: camp on this audio. Uh, and he had rollerbladed up
- 1:49:10Speaker 7: to his neighbor's house because he saw his Lamborghini in
- 1:49:13Speaker 7: the driveway. I wanted to tell the guy how cool
- 1:49:14Speaker 7: it was. Now extra ankle. This is not a guy. Uh,
- 1:49:22Speaker 7: fifty year old man shirtless on rollerblades. He's got a
- 1:49:24Speaker 7: wife at home. This is in Florida. Wife says he, Yeah,
- 1:49:29Speaker 7: you're a nice beard, dude, you're on rollerblades. So the
- 1:49:32Speaker 7: homeowners sees a man as you heard, gasping on his
- 1:49:35Speaker 7: front porch and goes out to investigate.
- 1:49:37Speaker 4: Okay, I'm sorry, No, I was gonna.
- 1:49:44Speaker 3: Touch my cars, Cary.
- 1:49:47Speaker 23: Yeah, yeah, could you call my wife?
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:49:50Speaker 4: Man, you have like slept and twisted. Jesus, I was.
- 1:49:56Speaker 7: Gonna talk to you about cars. Why are you shirtless
- 1:50:01Speaker 7: and rolling plays on my front porch? Froze doing car.
- 1:50:04Speaker 4: Stuff because I'm straight.
- 1:50:07Speaker 7: You see, if you wanted to meet my boyfriend, we
- 1:50:12Speaker 7: got time. We got time for one more Manas have
- 1:50:15Speaker 7: you seen the video of the the dirt bike that
- 1:50:18Speaker 7: exploded into a fireball into It's like a Sealinas, California,
- 1:50:21Speaker 7: where this really cool teen was just blowing through an intersection.
- 1:50:25Speaker 9: You know whose blows through intersections, people that have to
- 1:50:27Speaker 9: ride away. Yeah, they're not blowing through, they're proved, they're
- 1:50:30Speaker 9: going through orderly. So the teen on his dirt bike
- 1:50:32Speaker 9: hits the rear end of this car fireball explosion, as
- 1:50:36Speaker 9: were about to hear in the call, though there was
- 1:50:38Speaker 9: actually a happy I guess ending to this story.
- 1:50:41Speaker 4: All right, looks like the is on fire. The biker
- 1:50:46Speaker 4: rolls over to extinguish the flames, and his buddy yanks
- 1:50:49Speaker 4: off his pants.
- 1:50:50Speaker 9: Alright, the guy is some teenager. He got like I
- 1:50:58Speaker 9: think like a broken angle or something. He was fully
- 1:51:00Speaker 9: on fire because whatever he was on. But yeah, like
- 1:51:02Speaker 9: his friend rolled over because his pants.
- 1:51:04Speaker 4: Were all ut.
- 1:51:05Speaker 14: Dirt bikes in a residential area doesn't sound like Selena is.
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: Oh wait, it's super hood there. Yeah? Is that still?
- 1:51:11Speaker 7: Is that happening in your neighborhood? Who had dirt bike problems?
- 1:51:14Speaker 7: You had like electric bike problems?
- 1:51:16Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, this.
- 1:51:18Speaker 7: Is like a bunch of kids on the on the
- 1:51:19Speaker 7: e bikes. But it's at night and they're right down
- 1:51:22Speaker 7: the middle of the street doing like the wheels and
- 1:51:24Speaker 7: you you literally can't see them in my neighborhood. It's
- 1:51:28Speaker 7: the dirt bikes which are just allowed in them not.
- 1:51:30Speaker 10: Yeah you had that problem, right, the noise, the drag
- 1:51:32Speaker 10: racing or whatever.
- 1:51:34Speaker 14: Oh yeah, I had a guy in my neighborhood. Yeah,
- 1:51:37Speaker 14: he was like using our neighborhood like as a track
- 1:51:40Speaker 14: for some reason, and he was going like one hundred
- 1:51:43Speaker 14: miles an hour and like loops like all through the neighborhood.
- 1:51:46Speaker 4: Is insane.
- 1:51:47Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, badass right, pretty cool?
- 1:51:51Speaker 1: All right?
