- 0:09sixties one sixties and I was two behind. That's all right, let's go
- 0:15ahead and get to the other members of the pod. She is the first
- 0:17Lady of the Pot, the older Lady of the Pot. She fluffy and
- 0:20fine and got a gray see her name. Woo. Friends, what's what's
- 0:28up? Are you feeling I'm feeling good. I'm so good. I'm so
- 0:33good. I'm a little overwhelmed with life, but it's all good stuff.
- 0:36So it's like you can't you know what I'm saying. That's good. Yeah,
- 0:40just keep going. He's asking for plentiful blessings. Yes, there you
- 0:44go. I gave it to you. Dad is Yes. Let's go ahead.
- 0:49Man, little bro the Poe also the funny man of the Pot.
- 0:52His dame is Zach Bug whoa whoa who who whoot. Yeah, wa woo
- 0:58woo. Sorry that was terrible. You don't like my my harvy you went
- 1:06off script. Zach's upset because he's the only one that's allowed to sing on
- 1:14the part. Everybody can sing. Everybody can sing. Sing It makes you
- 1:18feel good. Okay, Yeah, anybody can sing. I sing, I
- 1:21just sing the best. What Yeah, let me hear what you want me
- 1:26to sing? Sing? Sing jodasy Okay, that's a joasy song. What
- 1:34I'm trying to think of music before I know ive sing sing pretty Ricky.
- 1:41I know you know that. You say it's because of min Go, but
- 1:49he ain't nothing but the numboy. It ain't nothing about the no bad baby.
- 2:00Yeah, sorry, that's exact. The body roll to shirt off,
- 2:10but take your shirt off, that is wild. I never was on one
- 2:15of them. Yeah body roll. I used to make fun of them,
- 2:17really yeah, but I did. Used to play Petty Ricky in the car
- 2:22when I picked up girl and I would like go to the song right before
- 2:25they got Like if I saw them walking to the car, be like I
- 2:28started at the beginning, they opening the door. It's mandatory. You gotta
- 2:32playing now. Look, that was the thing you got you You had to
- 2:36whood be in your car. You had to have the playlistre you have to.
- 2:39You had to, especially back then because you have the CDs you made.
- 2:44Yeah, I think the biggest compliment is like you had the CD.
- 2:47You put the CD you made and then the girl be like, who what
- 2:53mixed? Safe? Is that what used to be on your CD? Cool
- 2:58moment, cooling the game? I O, god, imagine what was on
- 3:15your c D? Miss right here is not a that's not Look. I
- 3:31came up and during the Golden age of R and B nineties, RMB is
- 3:36considered the golden age of RBS. I had all of the good groups jo
- 3:40Jo Toasy, Guy, Bobby Brown, Janet Jackson. Look, Luther was
- 3:49he was too young. I did My mama loved Luther, but I did
- 3:54put on a good hair and now it was that's a commercial with the complex
- 4:01CD. Oh god, see, this is the thing. This is why
- 4:04you guys don't respect Nelly. Nelly get it, they don't respect Nelly.
- 4:13Man, this is the thing. This is what not look think about this.
- 4:15Okay, Nelly went diamond physical sales. That means all those people went
- 4:23and grabbed those albums. Yes, people went gold platinum. Those were a
- 4:28million hand in hand. I gotta have this, I gotta have this,
- 4:30I gotta have this. That's why those artists could sell out arenas. They
- 4:36could sell out a five thousand person venue quick, because you if you win,
- 4:42go Now what you got is a bunch of people out that. Really
- 4:46you're gauging them on listens. It ain't even just think about that. It's
- 4:51not I grabbed the album. They gauge you. How many times you listen
- 4:55to a song that that ain't? That ain't Really That's why you can't really
- 4:59mess those artists against like Annelly. Annelly sold so many albums, Jay z
- 5:04sole albums you got people right now to stream do you think do you honestly
- 5:10think by hisself the Future could sell out that the United sent by yourself with
- 5:18what he has never not by itself. Never He's literally on an arena tour
- 5:25right now. He's not yes he is, he's not. He's not by
- 5:29he's not by no, No, he got day's got canceled. He's not
- 5:32on a tour by his self. I don't know how Nelly in Future got
- 5:38here specifically, but since we are here that the tour was, it has
- 5:43been a little effected by some you know, some dates being canceled just since
- 5:46we hear. I don't know how we got you because I was excited to
- 5:48say what was on my cities, But I don't know. I don't even
- 5:53want to do this we're not. I'm not gonna do it. I'm not
- 5:57fighting about them, fight about any other artists today, but you're not getting
- 6:01me into another I've said what I had to say about future and that's it.
- 6:05Okay. You know what I'm saying. If you want to keep bringing
- 6:08up Nelly in this diamond record that he has, that's perfectly fine album,
- 6:13that's what I mean. That's what I mean by record, the diamond album
- 6:15that he has. I respect Nelly. I love Nelly. I love what
- 6:18he's doing now with a shanty perfect like. I think Nelly's dope. You
- 6:23know what I'm saying. And I know Nelly a real one too. He'll
- 6:26fight you. So. I love everything about Nelly, Okay, but you
- 6:30just got to quit bringing them up out of nowhere. Like Nelly was not
- 6:35on the c Nelly was not on your Luther Se you was forty when Nelly
- 6:41came out, it was not there. Nelly came out and win who yo?
- 7:00Who was on your CD? Kiki, go ahead, I'm gonna let
- 7:02you do it. Do you want me to do yours? No? It
- 7:05ahead? We just made fun of it. No, UK, My list
- 7:10was lit. I had three piece Okay, Okay, pretty Ricky Okay,
- 7:16Mario, y'all remember Willie, Yeah Willy if these walls now now he buck
- 7:30he's the Willie Moore Show. Do y'all know that's the same pretty Willy.
- 7:35I don't know, I don't. You don't know. I don't know either
- 7:39one of those, you know, pretty Willy. No, And I was
- 7:43on the radio during that time. I ain't don't lie. Pretty Willy songs
- 7:46did not sound mixing mastic like I can't. I don't know how we got
- 7:51this record, but it just came out. And know, it never sounded
- 7:56like the other songs on your CD. It was like to turn it up
- 7:59a little bit. It was a little cloudy. Four Walls was cloudy,
- 8:01so I could see how you didn't see it. It never made it to
- 8:03the radio and it was just just a burner CD song. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:07that was my list. Oh my god, Yeah, that's a bad
- 8:11street pieces strong what rappers is? You listen to? Kik Lil Wayne,
- 8:22Little Wayne right, exactly, Young Money. I was a barb. I
- 8:24am a barb. Okay, I'm a barb. So I was definitely was
- 8:28Nikki mixtapes heavy like would do all the verses when Monster came out. I
- 8:33thought I was about to win, and Grammy like it was serious. Was
- 8:35twenty seven when I wasn't not there? Twenty I was in college, thirty
- 8:41five with you? Was thirty five with you know that? And I was
- 8:43because I was in college. I wasn't. No, I ain't know if
- 8:52I'm aunt you big on because we're young. I'm younger than you. Three
- 8:56months to get out of here with that. That's three months younger than me.
- 9:05I'm young, I was like I am. I just act more mature
- 9:09than him. So it's but three months, not three months. I swear
- 9:13something like six months. It's not apart. We're not a year or two
- 9:16apart out of you. Not not. Your age should be the same age.
- 9:20You're thirty five, and I'll give it. You gonna tell me how
- 9:26old I am? You thirty three? Well you graduate high school? Oh
- 9:28eight? I graduated? Oh seven? Okay, we did a year apart.
- 9:33I birth my birthday late. You just got late birthday. You're graduating,
- 9:37oh eight, I got seven. I'm thirty four. You can wait
- 9:41turn thirty five, remember my bad? So we're a year apart. We
- 9:45were lied about our birthday that long. We're ten months apart. We are
- 9:50a year apart, Zachary, I wasn't around long enough to learn anything else
- 9:54in life than you knew so far. I don't care what you're saying.
- 9:58You to say you I know. When Nigma was out, I was grown,
- 10:03you were. I had already had the boys. That's now that now
- 10:07that it's too aware, it's too fun. Whoa and some of us are
- 10:13just late bloomers. I was not on that. Wow, that got real.
- 10:18Do you want to talk about Oh don't. I ain't know. It's
- 10:20gonna hit you all like that now now, everybody up tight? Yeah?
- 10:24Yeah, I mean okay, yeah, we're fighting for those rights all on
- 10:28TV. Now. If I say the word now, y'all look at me
- 10:31like we're voting for it. All types of Second Amendment, okay, whatever,
- 10:35the second Amendment, another right to carry states at university. You should
- 10:46never started with him the future now he on one, he on one,
- 10:48he one, All right, man, y'all would say, except to me,
- 10:52guys on the pod. They would talk to me about some type of
- 10:56boat party. I have no idea what's going on with the boat. What
- 11:00are y'all talking about? What it was Zack's idea so I'll let him start.
- 11:03Well, I saw black Boats black scene week, yeah, and I
- 11:11was I was mad, I wasn't there, you know, And then I
- 11:13was thinking about it. I was like, I want to throw a boat
- 11:16party. It's got to have, Like we should throw a boat party.
- 11:18And Keiki was saying that she wants to throw a boat party. And then
- 11:22I said, well, we should throw one together for our birthday. Both
- 11:24of our birthday is at the end of the year, so we might as
- 11:30well. Just boats is overweight by that time, exactly, So we're going
- 11:33to do our half birthday, yes, And we wanted to know if you
- 11:37would host it and not hosted such a ridiculous idea a half birthday party.
- 11:43When he came to me where I was like, at his very big age,
- 11:46he asking for a half birthday party is crazy. So I thought that
- 11:50I would make it softer for him and throw myself in the mix so that
- 11:54way he's not alone and asking for his birthday party, you know what I
- 11:58mean. Said, So, I just know, I'm trying to be a
- 12:01supportive friend. So I know we both too brong for half birthday parties.
- 12:05But since Zach wont one, you know, he just saw the little photo
- 12:09shoes with the baby with the half a cake and that he won't one,
- 12:11so I'm just here to support him. Half birthday party is crazy too grown
- 12:16for that. I'm not partaking and a half. Why didn't you just say
- 12:22I want to go have a min kick you want to have a boat party
- 12:24and invite people? Bro? That's that's that's it. Hey, look know
- 12:28what we're gonna have a one more? Can I say boat party? We
- 12:33could? No, Zach wants the half cake with the candle. If you
- 12:39blow out a half cake, I'll kick you in your head. Bro,
- 12:43you want a half cake, You've grown as hell. I kind of wanted
- 12:46like a dress code and stuff. No, not a dress y'all? Well
- 12:50like red like the you know, like the birthday boy were like white.
- 12:54Wow. Wow. I kind of wanted to celebrate like it was my birth
- 12:58Why did just wait hit birthday? Because we can never have a Remember I'll
- 13:01never have a birthday party at the end of December unless we go to Miami.
- 13:05Yeah, who's gonna be there? You know how hard it is to
- 13:11get black people to go on the trip. Oh my god, it's that
- 13:15sight full of tea. Yes, yeah, that that is what kept me
- 13:18from traveling. A lot of times. I was like, man, we're
- 13:20gonna go. We go, yeah, yeah, yeah, we're gonna go.
- 13:24All right, look all right, and I'm I'm the I'm the planner,
- 13:26Like all right, cool, We're gonna I found a hotel that's cheap
- 13:28for everybody. Man's body this this cools right by. I got a hook
- 13:33up, okay, Like yeah, yeah, yeah, all right. Hey
- 13:35man, it's about like two months out. Anybody else bought they ticket,
- 13:39they got this stuff to get Oh man, I need a couple more weeks
- 13:43next. You know, about a month before the trip start, everybody started
- 13:48hitting you with excuses. Now you just stuck with the hotel. You didne
- 13:50got your hookups down in Miami, Like, hey, look, I got
- 13:54a big group coming. You don't got everything You've been telling them For two
- 13:56months. We've been a tad up there, twelve of us, and I
- 14:01would cancel. I would cancel so many because I was scared to travel by
- 14:03myself, not to say scared, but uncomfortable to go to go to another
- 14:09city and then like try to kind of figure it out without your guys.
- 14:13Now it's almost to the point where I for her not to have anybody with
- 14:18me because it's easier to move. It's easier to move. Like when I
- 14:22was in Vegas, it was easy to move, it was easy to move.
- 14:26I knew they ain't gonna say no to one person. They're not saying
- 14:31no to one person. Well, if you didn't want us to go,
- 14:33you couldn't. That was it. I think. I think I was about
- 14:39a plus three possible four, But that's it. I love moving around by
- 14:43myself. Yeah, I like doing it here. It's just so much easier.
- 14:46You can get more access by yourself. Zach like a little sniper.
- 14:50Just he'd be everywhere. Bro. He showed up. I showed him in
- 14:52the cup with him. Yeah, he was in the club. I came
- 14:54in late. I'm a little nice. Zach over there in the section with
- 14:58his family reunion. This we got to find out about that. All his
- 15:01cousins I'm talking, they were like, hey, we'll jump you. What
- 15:07a family friend. But that Kentucky, Atlanta and Miami. Okay, they
- 15:13definitely told me they was gonna jump me. They didn't. They would talk.
- 15:16It was like, hey we'll jump you. Like girl cousin was all
- 15:22over taked. Oh my god, she was so hot. You know,
- 15:24the ladies love to I know, but that's my brother. You can't do
- 15:33that. Yeah, okay, whatever you No, I just I would never
- 15:37talk to one of his asks cousins. I said they were attractive, but
- 15:41I just wouldn't do that too. You do it to me, I do
- 15:46with your cousin. That was your big nasty friend. It doesn't matter.
- 15:50You don't care. No, I do care your big nasty friend. I
- 15:58don't mean to call her that. She's probably a great person. But we
- 16:02we wear leopard print and you got a tug ring. I don't know.
- 16:04You kind of fall into my big nasty friend, my big nasty friend that
- 16:08is a family member. And oh, I just don't appreciate how you have
- 16:14all this respect for that's some big nasty cousins, But you don't discriminate when
- 16:18it comes to me. That was your family member. I apologize, that's
- 16:21too late. I thought it was a friend. I would never talk to
- 16:23her that. I never would. I didn't even say nothing to her.
- 16:26In I got out of the she started. She started looking crazy at me.
- 16:30I was like, lady, you gotta go. Leopard print and a
- 16:33tug ring is something crazy to me? Something about this leopard print and this
- 16:40tug red. This lady got got me excited. Shout out to my stud
- 16:42cousin. She turned she my stud cousin lit the whole party up. Oh
- 16:48God, I love my stud cousin from now on out, I don't want
- 16:52to go out without my stud. She's shorter than me. She got like
- 16:57a loafer cup. She had her hat on backwards, fitted cap on backwards.
- 17:02I turned around cousins standing up on the couch for licking girls. I
- 17:07was like, I love, I would love to see you. Before I
- 17:11should have known it was gonna be up, because before we went in the
- 17:14club, she said, hey, cuz, I said, what's up?
- 17:17She said, they got white girls in him. And at that moment I
- 17:23should have known my stud cousin's gonna take it up, specifically asking for white
- 17:30girls. Where is she from? White girl? They got white girls in
- 17:37here? I said, I think it's a little bit of head thing in
- 17:38him. Cups. She knew she was finna win. Oh man, she
- 17:41got in that booth. No, I love the fact that she has this
- 17:49white girl's here. You can always tell your friends they want to know if
- 17:53you're going to diverse club or something like that. They try not to say
- 17:57not everybody in the car is quiet. They wait and they hit you up
- 18:00right before you go in where everybody else He got in front, like,
- 18:03hey they got some latinos. Oh my god. You know, you know,
- 18:07I ain't not if it's all black, I ain't tripping. But you
- 18:11know, if it's some Latin girls are here, that'll be cool. That
- 18:15said. Then my other cousin, he's from Kentucky too, he hit me
- 18:18up on Saturday because we're supposed to go out Saturday night. I was too
- 18:22tired to go. I didn't have it in me. He called me,
- 18:23he said, cause, can you mind recommending some spots? I think I'm
- 18:27gonna go out? Like will white girls be? Oh God, with your
- 18:33family? It took me to all the black stuff. Now that's the truth.
- 18:40My my cousins from Kentucky love white women. Yeah, they married to
- 18:45a lot of white women. And because that's what they see though, but
- 18:48that's what they say. Like anything around any black men who leave him mew
- 18:51to Minnesota or like Muda, you know Kentucky. They do. They get
- 18:55them in white. It's like a package, like you get a white girl
- 18:57and y'all get pregnant, y'all. Baby, you know what it is.
- 19:00No, I'm about to I'm gonna keep it up. What it is is
- 19:04Illinois is hella racist. And because we didn't grow up around each other,
- 19:08Like think about how Illinois set up, think about how Chicago is set up,
- 19:11we didn't grow up a lot of around each other. So a lot
- 19:15of places white and black people were right on top of each other. They
- 19:18pretty much not all, but a lot like a New York, like a
- 19:22Miami, like a Minnesota. Those places, it's in close proximity, and
- 19:26it's just for some reason, it's just really taboo. I mean, the
- 19:29first time I ever ever talked to a white girl out of was out of
- 19:33state. I'm in LA, and she came like hollered me like a sister
- 19:37wood or it came and was like look. I was like, wait,
- 19:41like, y'all don't do that. But other places, in other cities,
- 19:45white women will talk to you the same way, and I think it's just
- 19:48something new for a lot of black guys that just grew up around predominantly black
- 19:52neighborhoods. Y'all not going. I tried to follow that, but it's it's
- 20:00you saying Kentucky is less racist than Illinois. I ain't say it was less
- 20:04racist. I ain't say it was less racist. But it seemed like they
- 20:07be around each other more. Okay, I don't know. I could be
- 20:11wrong. Yeah, I think you're wrong. Let me tell you something.
- 20:15We vote Illinois. Always gonna be blue, always gonna be ready. Way
- 20:19more racist in Kentucky. Illinois. Bro, Like you can live on the
- 20:25south side, bro, and maybe only see three white people. I think
- 20:27that on the west side you can, you could go, you could be
- 20:32a pilster and only hang around. You go up north and like it's a
- 20:37type of city, bro. It's definitely segregated. Chicago is the most segregated
- 20:41city I've ever lived in. That that's that's the most That's what I'm saying.
- 20:45The most live in the south. I'm only living in the on the
- 20:51south side, and all I see black black black, and then i'm all
- 20:55black women talking to me, or you know, the one or maybe the
- 20:57mixed girl. But then you go out of town and they're like everybody's mingling,
- 21:02everybody mingling. And the thing is you've always it ain't like beauty is
- 21:04beauty, So you see a pretty white girl. But you just know it
- 21:07ain't going You ain't finna be. They ain't wasting your time. That makes
- 21:11that makes a world because I used to live in the North Suburbs at one
- 21:14point, and when I would go to my cousin house in the city,
- 21:17I was like, I was like, I love it here, Like I
- 21:21love the West Side of Chicago, Like, oh my god, I can't
- 21:23even go to the corner store. It's spy dudes lined up, you know
- 21:26what I'm saying. But in the Northwest Suburbs, that ain't funny, right,
- 21:30So I to the West Side by ninety I swear to god, I
- 21:36love it over there. Okay, whoo babey. I feel safe, I
- 21:40feel protected everything when I go over there. So it's it's definitely I get
- 21:44that it's gentrified. It's segregated. Yeah, the Chago is the most segregated
- 21:48city. That's all okay, because I'm not completely segregated. Definitely racist And
- 21:52on top of I think with Chicago, on top of the segregation, people
- 21:59don't don't go out like it can be segregated in other cities, but you
- 22:03go to different parts, like you share a Walmart, you share this in
- 22:07Chicago. People don't go outside of where they're in their little bubble. They
- 22:11do everything within that bubble. Church, club, party, they don't leave
- 22:22the area in Chicago. And that's that's the difference. I think that's more
- 22:26different than any I've noticed that here than anywhere else I live. Like,
- 22:29if some is across town, you just go across town and go to it.
- 22:32They're doing its fifteen minutes down the street. Do you think it's a
- 22:42such as a black Walmart at a black black grocery store, like or different
- 22:48than it could be a Walmart in a hood and in a Walmart, let's
- 22:52say North Suburbs. Different. Yeah, because the white people got neighborhood Walmarts.
- 22:56Everything in our is locked up. We got super can't get you can't
- 23:00get the similar, the past, the dish soap. You got to get
- 23:03a key for everything in our walkmarks in Walgreens. Yeah, that's what I'm
- 23:07saying. So, like, it's definitely a difference. So y'all take it
- 23:10back, y'all. I'm sorry. I mean, yeah, it wasn't racist,
- 23:18it was segregated. Okay, thank you. But you were right though,
- 23:22And once we understood she was talking about that's why I was trying torupt
- 23:26because I wanted to be right. Okay, you're right, brother, anything
- 23:27else you want to be right about. I would like to hear more about
- 23:32the recap of the family reunion. How to go oh man. So look,
- 23:36as y'all know, the family reunion was exactly how I wanted it to
- 23:40be. My vision with the family reunion, I wanted it to feel like
- 23:42an old school homie family reunion, not no bells and wheel so it was
- 23:48just a traditional family reunion. So I got shirts made. You know,
- 23:52we hadn't done t shirts in like years, So we had shirts and it
- 23:56was at my house in the backyard. Yeah. I had a shout out
- 24:00to Rocco Rico, whoever Rico I think is his name, the tent man.
- 24:06Tent man came set everything up, tables and chairs, shout out to
- 24:11DJ Prince. DJ Prince came out. It's fun I had. We had.
- 24:15It was lit. You know, we did regular family reunion stuff.
- 24:18We had cards, We gambled, and you know what black people do when
- 24:22they when they ain't got no activities like basketball and nothing, they race.
- 24:26So we had races in the middle of the street. That's what black people
- 24:30do. Now they compete. Do you ever race at your family reunion?
- 24:36So your cousin ain't gonna race you. That's his African side. Ain't nobody
- 24:40racing at our family reunion side? Y'all tell how faster than you? And
- 24:45that's how that's how he be around here. Zach always want to race somebody.
- 24:49Yes, I don't know what marathon you're trying to win, but that's
- 24:52crazy that y'all was racing at the family reunion in the middle of the street.
- 24:56That's nuts. That's that's your DNA, and you definitely want to race
- 25:00people. So here's the thing. I didn't want to race people. They
- 25:02started off racing the kids. It started off with the kids. The kids
- 25:06was racing. And then I'm gonna tell it cuz I'm sorry, I gotta
- 25:10tell your business. I have a cousin that brought a white boy to the
- 25:15reunion. It's her boyfriend. Cool. She's mixed, so sorry, perfectly
- 25:18cool and everything's fine, right the white boy, the white boy race.
- 25:22So the white boy races one of my cousins. So you know, they
- 25:27come in. I'm inside while this is going on, but I saw the
- 25:30video they race cuz beats them. They were racing on the sidewalk. He
- 25:37beat them. Boom. White boys say, I want to rematch, but
- 25:41I ain't have enough space on the sidewalk, So let's race in the street.
- 25:45So they take the street. They take the race to the middle of
- 25:48the street. Boom on your market, set go, they take off.
- 25:53Cuz pull up, pull a whole muscle, whole quad, pull up.
- 25:59At the end of the race, a white boy win. So now I'm
- 26:03inside with all this happening. I didn't know this was going down. Cuz
- 26:07come in lipping and just lay in my living room and back. I said,
- 26:11cous what's wrong he's talking about I pulled a muscle? Cause I said,
- 26:15you pulled a muscle? What happened? He was Then my other cousins
- 26:18like, now he ain't telling the truth. That white boy beat him in
- 26:22a race. I said, the white boy beat you. Oh God,
- 26:25Now I gotta go out here and get your revenge. No race. I
- 26:33had to go redeem him because what I cannot have at the Faring Union I'm
- 26:38hosting is a white boy come in my family and be like I beat them,
- 26:44boy man. I told him in the foot race, I had to
- 26:51race the boy. You won, didn't you what I don't? And I
- 27:00just don't real you get from racing. You take it so serious, like
- 27:07debting music or like something out at the table. You would just be like,
- 27:11who want to race? Who want to race? Why? He gets
- 27:15serious about it, like it's dad serious, like what I told him I
- 27:19could. I could beat him in something. His whole face. You chased
- 27:22it what you're talking about? No, you can't, you can't, don't
- 27:26you. I'm strong, that's it. You ran track. But okay,
- 27:32it's just like, okay, that's what I'm good at as a little guy.
- 27:34You don't have many wins growing up. Okay, I wasn't gonna beat
- 27:41nobody in basketball, wasn't gonna beat you in a fight. But a race
- 27:45is where I thrive. So anytime I can get back into just winning and
- 27:52being dominant, I'm gonna do it. If we can. If the conversation
- 27:55goes to a race, I'm gonna challenge you, okay, because I want
- 27:59to win. Have you seen them dudes to like to fight? Oh?
- 28:00Yes, No? Why do they like to fight? Because they know they
- 28:04can win, they can beat people. The same reason I like to race,
- 28:07Wow, the same reason I don't like to play basketball so much.
- 28:11I mean, I played, I'm decent. I'm decent. Oh, I
- 28:15played in Rossmax game. Did a celebrity game. I played in there,
- 28:22and I was scared. I ain't gonna lie because I played in another game
- 28:25and I was scared. It was enough. It was some different people,
- 28:26some people in there. There's a lot of girls in there. And I
- 28:30was like, all right, I'm not starting, which I got. Which
- 28:33is I gotta get used to not starting it used to every celebrity game.
- 28:37I will start, but it's not good. Gott I come off the bench.
- 28:41Shame coming off the bench when you're older? Are you come come off
- 28:45the bench? Now? Are you accepting that role? I've accepted it because
- 28:48really I don't want a lot of minutes, just a few, just a
- 28:52couple of show your highlights. I want. I know, somebody gonna get
- 28:56a picture of me doing something like I'm in shape now. So it looked
- 29:00like when I take the picture, I'm good. But anyway, so I
- 29:03was I and I had just got off the plane. I was definitely afraid
- 29:07of going over again. I was like, please don't go over means not
- 29:14hitting no shots. Okay, you saw me? Thank you thank you,
- 29:18and I was like, man, I first half nothing, how many shots
- 29:22did you take? I didn't take a lot. I'm not I don't want
- 29:25to tell you I haven't shot. I saw that like three, so you
- 29:29were oh for three the first half. In the first half, I was
- 29:32for one. I took one shot. They pulled me when I missed it.
- 29:34But I thought I was was a good shot. And that's the worst
- 29:37getting took out the game when you shoot a shot and missed. Was ever
- 29:45turned it ever turned? I said, I'm I saying I got come somewhere
- 29:52you'd be good. Ever was nice though. I mean for the NBA playing
- 29:57to bring your hands out the game, you got like you're like okay.
- 30:03If it had been like a regular coach, I would have argued with him
- 30:06like, man, wait, man, I just missed a shot. But
- 30:07the dude who used to play in the NBA that got the creditions ever turned
- 30:11a hand. You kind of like okay. Yeah. So the second half,
- 30:15I'm I'm scared, man. I was like I said, the first
- 30:18open one I get, I'm letting it fly. I gotta let it and
- 30:22I hit it. I was like I hit a really deep three and that
- 30:26was it? I shot again missed? That was cool? Okay, but
- 30:30you got your three. You got got my three. Now I'm about to
- 30:32playing a celebrity softball game. Now that one I should be okay, it's
- 30:36softball, yeah, softball, okay, Yeah, don't get struck out though.
- 30:40If I no, now that's when I now I'm an athlete. Bro,
- 30:42I'm not getting and a sixteen in softball. I'm gonna hit a sixteen
- 30:47in softball. Okay, don't get struck out. That'll be a terrible look
- 30:49though. No getting struck out in softball. I'm telling you, if I
- 30:55keep playing horrible in these games, it's over. You're gonna quit. I
- 31:00was done. Yeah, it's done. I'm done, and it doesn't mean
- 31:03as much to me anymore. Uh. Let's go ahead and get to this
- 31:07with black scene boat seeing Kiki as you get on the boat, do you
- 31:11on the boat yet? Oh? Yeah, I know you don't want to
- 31:15have the boat party, So I guess that's kind of dumb question. I
- 31:17don't have no boat friends. You're the only friend I know who with the
- 31:19potential to buy a boat. Yeah, absolutely not. I don't have no
- 31:27boat friends, you know, so nobody invited me to nobody's boat. Why
- 31:34not? What? Why not? I don't know. Probably did not think
- 31:38I'm gonna bring the gin. You know what I'm saying. I don't,
- 31:41Zach, I don't know why I'm not getting invited on boats. Kiki.
- 31:45You didn't you act like you don't want to go on no boat. People
- 31:47would invite you to the boat any day you want to go. Okay,
- 31:51I just got on a boat. You just on at work. You're not
- 31:56said, that's the only boat you get on in the summer is for your
- 31:59company. And then y'all got on that little ass boat all that. Oh
- 32:02yeah that one time. Yeah, yeah, he was scared on that boat.
- 32:07I was You had a life jacket out, but I still had fun.
- 32:09How you did, bro, You've got in that corner and didn't move
- 32:13or talk to nobody. I'm ready for this. She got on that sea,
- 32:19that sweat. She didn't even turn around. It's like, hey,
- 32:22y'all turned right back around, and she knows she was scared to death.
- 32:27I was terrified. I think, really, I want to get on the
- 32:30First of all, I don't trust nobody in Chicago to drive me on the
- 32:34boat. That's the problem. So I don't want the boat to move.
- 32:37I just want to go get on it docked right there at the little thing.
- 32:39We could stay right there. We don't need to go. We in
- 32:42the water, we do not need to move. That's my thing. I
- 32:45don't trust none of them. They I don't know what y'all doing. Yeah,
- 32:50so that was mine, Zach. What about you as far as what
- 32:53black scene? Did you think about taking cousins out there? Yeah? I
- 32:57think if I would have known, I would have extended it with extended family
- 33:00reunion. I would have said, y'all leave on Monday instead of Sunday.
- 33:04We got some big on Sunday. Bring it, we're getting on the boat.
- 33:07I would have told everybody, and I would have probably rented a boat
- 33:09for them for black scene. If I would have known it was that Sunday,
- 33:13that would have been perfect. Hey, I had my daughters. I've
- 33:16been gone all month. I had I got a pretty good July essence,
- 33:21Fast League and then New York right right right. I meant I had pretty
- 33:25lit July. But I was like, man, so I had seen my
- 33:30daughter. I had seen my youngest, who doesn't really play about not seeing
- 33:34me. She don't play about that I started getting text visage early. Am
- 33:37I coming this weekend? But sometimes she don't get busy. She don't get
- 33:43busy and be like dad, I know I said I was coming, but
- 33:45you know I'm gonna go spend the night in my friends. All right?
- 33:47Cool? And I love my baby so much. I love her so much,
- 33:52but I never wish for somebody to cancel on me so bad. You
- 33:57start calling out friends, parents like y'all have no sleep bathers this weekkid.
- 34:00But and then it got worse. It got worse, like Sunday, like,
- 34:06I'm like, man, I'm looking at all of them. I'm looking
- 34:08at all of the boats. I'm like, damn, I'm looking at people's
- 34:12stories. I'm like, I'm like, I called her mama, like,
- 34:17what time you coming? You know she gotta get up? She wow time?
- 34:25You know what's going on? Lady? That's funny. It's crazy.
- 34:30You miss mommy, you miss her. I'm about to take it to you.
- 34:36Yeah, man, it was one of them. Also, this this
- 34:38is something I saw and I wanted to ask you guys this question. Do
- 34:44you think of twenty twenty four you should keep your relationship off of social media?
- 34:49Yes? Can you do that? Right, yes, absolutely, So
- 34:53why do people say that it's not real unless you put somebody on social media.
- 34:59I don't know. I didn't say that because that ain't that ain't sound
- 35:01like I don't know. I don't know. I just feel like when you
- 35:15start saying that you know your partner she you know what I'm saying. When
- 35:19you started being like why you ain't posting me, it's because you know,
- 35:22like you know why I didn't post you. So it's like, why even
- 35:24have that debate, why even argue? So for me, what works best
- 35:29in the relationship is if we're not married, you don't need to be nowhere
- 35:32on my social media because at any moment in time I may have to replace
- 35:37you. God forbid. You know what I'm saying, we may not work
- 35:39out, And now I got to explain to my followers who this new person
- 35:44is. When if I just never told them who you was in the first
- 35:45place, they don't miss nobody. So it's just it's crazy, Like I
- 35:51tell my boyfriend Hall saying, like they know of Big Ten. Everybody know
- 35:53Big Ten. You can't point them out in the lineup. Why because at
- 35:58any moment, if God forbid, I have to switch Big Tims. That's
- 36:01a new man is still gonna be named Big Tim. Y'all would never know
- 36:05that it was. You know what, She's gonna have another if I gotta
- 36:15switch Big Tims. If I have to, and you've talked about me,
- 36:19that's real though, you gotta respect that. I'm what. That's just keeping
- 36:28your record. I don't need nobody keeping record of how many what I got
- 36:30going on. That's what social media do. We keep records like we keep
- 36:35records. So will you pop out with somebody that goes on your record?
- 36:39If you never pop out with nobody, your record is clean until you don't
- 36:43want it to be. And when I pop out, it's gonna be engagement
- 36:45pictures or a wedding. That's when you pop out. Crazy you telling it?
- 36:54I can't wait. We said exactly what you said? You would tell
- 37:00us up? Yeah, what what the hot boy? Squeak that lineass squeak?
- 37:05What say exactly what she said? Tone from now? Tone's gonna say
- 37:09what you say? Okay, all right, I don't post women just because
- 37:13you know, I don't want anybody to keep track of what's going on with
- 37:15me. In mind? What's wrong with that? You would tell me you
- 37:22would be. You act like you don't you wait a minute. You are
- 37:25a person that just wait a minute. Oh my god, I'm just it
- 37:29just popped in my head. Look at this. Look at how she fliped
- 37:32flopped. I said hey, I said, hey, I'm seeing you now,
- 37:37and you are like now you want to announce you single? You ain't
- 37:42never want to announce you was in a relationship. That's true. What do
- 37:45you mean I'm keeping my my relationship to myself now. I tell people all
- 37:49the time I'm in a relationship, but I'm single. I tell people this
- 37:52all the time. Do I not tell y'all this? Is this the first
- 37:54time y'all hearing this for real? No? We still think it's record every
- 38:00time. Just reckless. No, it's not the first time. But you're
- 38:02very reckless. And that's what we always get on you about. How is
- 38:06that reckless? You gonna stay single? Keep talking like that? My god,
- 38:09when you file your taxes, what do you put on your taxes?
- 38:14Look single? Okay? You get ready to get your head knocked between the
- 38:17wash it and dry up when you get home if you don't stop talking like
- 38:22this, because you just you just be talking so reckless, right, I
- 38:29really not though, and I wish more women would accept that. Y'all running
- 38:32around here talk about y'all in a relationship with a single man. You know
- 38:37what I'm saying, The man be real single and you and you, you
- 38:40is tied down since fighting for your life. You should be, you should
- 38:45be you want to be a wife today? Like this is the funniest thing.
- 38:51If you start dating me, and you start dating let's say we're not
- 38:53we're not even in a relationship, we just date, but you're still throwing
- 38:57up advertisement pictures on your it's the ground. Then I can't really that that
- 39:01I'm ever gonna take you serious advertisement pictures like you still showing the cuff of
- 39:07ass you steal, heavy cleavage leaning into the phone. You are? Why
- 39:13am I finna? Why Why would I'm gonna wipe the woman and everybody trying
- 39:17to get to Was I advertising before you got with me? Exactly? And
- 39:21once once I get with you, you need to stop. If you want
- 39:25me to stop, make me an honest woman, Nona. I gotta figure
- 39:28out what your creditionals is though, I gotta find out to get a good
- 39:31credit score, pay some bills. We know what you're gonna pay somebody got
- 39:37mad at me about that, about what about the bills paying? And I
- 39:40got I keep telling y'all, I'm not gonna explain it like he can't explain
- 39:44the future. Like dog, I'm gonna tell any man in his face.
- 39:52Bro If you trying to take care of a woman and yourself and have her
- 39:57not paid for nothing, and when you make seventy thousand dollars a year,
- 40:00your ass going broke. Your ass going broke. You want to do it
- 40:05at eighty ninety Your ass going broke, You're going broke, or you're gonna
- 40:08live in something really really small. Stop Stop with all that. This lady
- 40:14got mad at me, being man, I was like, what I'm just
- 40:16telling you the real I'm telling you real, real life stuff. If you
- 40:21cannot cheat the number, If you trying to live up to what these women
- 40:27telling you to do and you make seventy thousand dollars, your ass going broke.
- 40:31Bruh, flat out. So you want you want a fifty fifty lifestyle
- 40:36forever. No, I don't want a fifty fifty lifestyle, but I do
- 40:38want somebody that's gonna make my situation and her situation go up. We both
- 40:45shouldn't be crippled. One of us shouldn't be living good, and I'd be
- 40:47like, and I'm stressed, Like, ah, I gotta we both should
- 40:51come together and you should want to get with somebody else and make stuff bigger.
- 40:55Yes, Like if you you got a three hundred thousand dollar house that
- 40:59you paying for on your own, and I got a three hundred thousand dollars
- 41:02house and I'm paying for my own, it ain't about going fifty to fifty
- 41:06at that point. It's about looking at what's best. Okay, cool,
- 41:09Let's see all right, let's let's do let's get it. Let's get a
- 41:13Let's get a four five hundred thousand our house, because we obviously trying to
- 41:16have a family. Let's look at you gotta look at the numbers. That's
- 41:20all I'm saying. I've been there. Death Stoppers is real. Bro He
- 41:24never going back to Death Stoppers though. That was the most embarrassing time of
- 41:35my life. My I'm telling y'all, do you know how it is to
- 41:39be a radio personality in Chicago your whole life? It be broke, It
- 41:45be broke as hell, But no nobody knew I was broke until I walk
- 41:50my ass and the death stoppers, and that lady said, it's okay,
- 41:53baby, happening to everybody. What oh time. Well, that's why I'm
- 42:00not against what you're saying. I hear what you're saying, and I'm not
- 42:04it's not totally wrong. But I do think Tom, you a little hard
- 42:07on the women, like you want them to work and be homemakers. No,
- 42:12no, no, no no, I don't. I want you to.
- 42:14I want you to care about I want us to figure it out,
- 42:16right, okay, care about us eating. So say, y'all got kids
- 42:21together, and y'all move in together, and you want her to work and
- 42:24to provide just as much as you provide. But somebody got to take care
- 42:28of these kids. Somebody got so ship it shifts its ships. Like when
- 42:30I honestly, when I live and I was working at night, she had
- 42:35our son the whole the whole day, the whole day. And when I
- 42:39and you know, buddy gonna get up. He got me, got his
- 42:43blood, he got my blood and him so he up at nighttime. Guess
- 42:45who had the night shift? Me and folks was up watching ESPN, playing
- 42:50the game. I fed them and no, she was sleep so she could
- 42:53get a good, nice sleep, get in there. When she had to
- 42:57get our ass up in the morning. I was like, yo, shift
- 43:00over. I need to sleep because I gotta get up and do the radio.
- 43:02But she also had to go to work. But she had she had
- 43:06to go to work. She had to go to work, but no week.
- 43:07But I paid for the for the daycare during the day. So it's
- 43:13like I said, like, if you just running it and she telling you
- 43:15everything, you're supposed to be doing folks, you supposed to be paying this,
- 43:19and you've supposed to be doing this, and you're doing that on seventy
- 43:21bucks, your ass going broken. You're gonna end up in desk stoppers.
- 43:24And then and she gonna leave your ass and take you, take her and
- 43:29your shorty and be able to dude again. And she might go fifty to
- 43:32fifty with that dude. Fid you ain't right. I ain't gonna stop you,
- 43:39like I ain't know. That's all I'm saying that I'm passionate about that.
- 43:44Lady came to me and she I'm passionate about it because at the end
- 43:47of the day, people hearing these mixed messages and being like I get it.
- 43:52In the fifties, and when I was growing up it was it was
- 43:58in the fifties you could go get you or some bread for a quarter.
- 44:01That ain't hattening no more, gasle, I'm gonna keep it a buck,
- 44:07gass a dollar when I was growing up, a dollar, bro. You
- 44:12can feel and people complain about feeling that they take with twenty bucks. Yet
- 44:16it ain't none of that stuff happening no more. You gonna go boke,
- 44:20And like I said, I've been, I've been boked. It ain't cool.
- 44:24I ain't gonna let not a woman in this world put me in a
- 44:28situation. I want a woman that's gonna say, hey, look you got
- 44:30this, I got this, let's make it shape. I respect that and
- 44:34I agree with that. Just to be clear, I played devil avocate,
- 44:37but I totally agree with that. You cannot. You cannot have a good
- 44:39lifestyle off one salary. And somebody ain't gonna be happy neither I actually,
- 44:44neither one of y'all gonna be happy because you're gonna feel like he don't pay
- 44:46attention to you, that he gonna feel like he working too much. It's
- 44:50just both people need to bring some to the table. So y'all could prosper
- 44:53together and everybody could be happy. I believe in that. I do believe
- 44:57that when the money right, when the money right in a relationship, and
- 45:00y'all ain't got to really worry about that. That that's that relationship is tough
- 45:06anyway. But you add money problems on some stuff, it aint gonna last.
- 45:09Yeah, smoked, super smoke. Nobody liked feeling somebody gonna feel slighted.
- 45:14Yeah, how did you feel you like because you was a provider?
- 45:17Was that tough? Yeah? I was a full provider. It didn't work.
- 45:22Was it tough though? The stress? Yeah, you always feel like
- 45:25you should be doing more, you know what I'm saying. So or do
- 45:30you feel like the other part you do you resent the other person? Like?
- 45:32Yeah, yeah, I feel like you live in a good life and
- 45:36I'm working my ass off and it just it's just not a I don't want
- 45:38that feeling ever again. But is that fair though? Because you offered it,
- 45:45well, I didn't know. No, I didn't offer it. I
- 45:47didn't offer It was something I was forced into. Mm hmmm. It was.
- 45:52It was something that I was like, no, I don't think you
- 45:53should quit your job. And then you did it anyway? You know we
- 45:57together were married. What do I do? I have to just pick up
- 45:59the slack because the next bill cycle is starting regardless of what you do.
- 46:04You know what I'm saying. So I had to just do it so I
- 46:07don't mess with any woman to do. I have a good work. Yeah.
- 46:10But now, but that's what you want them, quitting jobs, taking
- 46:15too much yours. I have to see now. Now, it's like if
- 46:20you don't got no job consistently, I'm like, I'm like an application if
- 46:24you're trying to get a credit. How long have you had your last whom
- 46:28was your last employer? And was deployer behind that? When did you do
- 46:31before that? How long you've been at this job? Eight years? Okay?
- 46:34Someone be like you off again? Vacation days? You got no If
- 46:39I start hearing, I'm about to quick yeah, right, break for a
- 46:46little while, right, I don't want to hear. Break for a little
- 46:50while, lady, how your life set up? No, I'm sorry,
- 46:52ladies, I can't. I love it. I love a hard working woman.
- 46:57Now, I don't know nothing else. And you know, just when
- 47:00I wash dishes, I clean up. But do you really though, because
- 47:04like I feel like me and don't watch y'all don't do chores right. Y'all
- 47:07could do them, but y'all don't do them right. And you know how
- 47:10many women I had given terrible heads they doing it, They ain't doing it
- 47:17right. That a chore. It's a chore. That's crazy being mad left,
- 47:24I mean, And you don't be like you gotta act like you gotta
- 47:29like, oh yeah, that was good, you really like? Come on,
- 47:31man, turn off? You know that real crazy, real, yes,
- 47:37real, be terrible. If it's if you're if head and your relationship
- 47:43is a chore, you in the wrong relationship. It's not even it's nothing
- 47:45about it being like you can kiss good, you act like it's good and
- 47:50you appreciate it. You have to appreciates effort of the bad head. So
- 47:53you need to appreciate the effort of me watching these dishes, even if it's
- 47:57not to your liking. That's sad up. I mean to make sure it's
- 48:01cool. You're cool, you know what I mean? You get somebody that
- 48:05could clean up I be personally, I'm not. You're not clean. He
- 48:07ain't either, That's what that's what like I be with y'all to y'all lie,
- 48:10you know what I'm saying. I cleaned up, ain't washing dishes?
- 48:14No you weren't. You're not you. You're not home to clean, You're
- 48:16not going home to cook. Y'all be wanting. That's why I can ride
- 48:21with y'all on the two people should be equal, but we're not equal.
- 48:23But because me, it's never gonna be equal. I don't. I don't
- 48:27want that. Let me be clear, ladies. I'm not saying we need
- 48:30to be fifty fifty, but I think you should contribute. Y'all say that,
- 48:34and then y'all still expect all the other stuff that come with being a
- 48:37stay at home mom. No, we expect all the other stuff that comes
- 48:42with being a woman. It's like, y'all come and washing dishes don't come
- 48:45with being a woman. What it was just because cutting grass come with being
- 48:49a man. Yes, y'all ain't cutting grass? Y'all are not you somebody
- 49:07that come with being a woman washing dishes? I never said watching this comes
- 49:09with I'm just saying, move it open cares women looking up. Women love
- 49:15to talk about these chores that come with just in y'all's natural essence, just
- 49:20as certain things that come with being a man. That's in a man's natural
- 49:22essence. When there's a knock at the door and don't nobody know who it
- 49:25is, I'm never gonna say. I'm never gonna send my woman. I
- 49:29don't care how long I work that day. I don't care if I got
- 49:31off an eighteen hour shift. I'm going that's not it's not I'm going to
- 49:36the door because that's what a man is supposed to do. Okay, And
- 49:38it's yeah, I ain't gonna be like, you know what, I just
- 49:42got off. You go ahead, you you you rested today, You was
- 49:45off today, so you go check that. That's how y'all be. No
- 49:49stuff come with being a man that you're gonna do. You open yeah can
- 49:59Now, we can't act try to open cans exactly. That's my point is
- 50:04it doesn't matter. Certain stuff just comes to me and a man, and
- 50:07certain stuff just open that can for you. Crazy, Okay, how tired
- 50:13I am? Them groceries in the car. I gotta go out there,
- 50:15find me some slippers on my house to go get them. It's part of
- 50:21my life. I'm not gonna bring in the groceries. No, it's not.
- 50:27She just bought them, went sent them to the stove, stopping these
- 50:30top of these stairs. I'm not that's crazy. If we did that,
- 50:37it is, But I just can only go with y'all so far. I
- 50:42know tribute can contribute. We should all contribute to the relationship, but y'all
- 50:46be taking it a little far, because y'all be one person to contribute just
- 50:49as much and then work do work round houses as much. Now, we
- 50:52want you to do exactly what we're doing. We want you to do the
- 50:57things that men are supposed to do. We're doing the things I mean you
- 51:00supposed to things women supposed to do, and we do the things that men
- 51:04supposed to. Don't say that, then me and are technically supposed to provide.
- 51:07And then we got there, we go and then we gotta come home
- 51:08and like y'all say, we gotta go and break your back. Don't let
- 51:12us be tied tied. Okay, because the same way y'all act like y'all
- 51:15like yeah, the same way women act like they like that sex, y'all
- 51:19be giving. So I appreciate it. Thank you if you can fake that,
- 51:24good baby, to go ahead, please please, we got your time.
- 51:45Your time fight. I don't know love y'all. Pot feel see y'all.
