  I think that if come out of the Olympic break, he's still power

  His ice time was like way low. So I don't know what if

  something is not accurate or they're mixing up the lines

  during the game or something, but definitely something to

  monitor with Ryan Leonard because I feel he's one of the

  hotter names on the waiver wire for the last few weeks.

  Like we've mentioned him a few times, like people are

  interested because you know, he's like a mini Tom Wilson,

  quote, UN quote. But if the minutes are not

  there, even if the deployment is there, something's up.

  That's why because they've had to jam the schedule into until

  like tighter, like fewer weeks. That's why you've had these five

  game weeks. LA plays five times this week

  and then four-game weeks you've got Boston, Columbus Islanders,

  Rangers, Philly, Utah, Vegas, busy nights or Tuesday,

  Thursday, Saturday, and then there's a couple of two off
• 8:40
  night teams. But yeah, so that's that's

  diving into week 17. Now let's get started with our

  top ten points guys. As always, under 40% owned so

  that it's as relevant to most of you as Kevin always likes to

  preface. If you're in a shallower league

  with guys that are higher percent fostered available on
• 8:59
  the waiver wire, This is more deep cuts.

  So oftentimes they'll be better guys available.

  At #10 We've got Pavel Zaka of the Boston Bruins line 2 power

  play 1 four-game week this week. I mean, this is like he's #10

  because I'm not like the most excited about him.

  He's one of the freakiest players in the league.

  I feel like he'll go on some like runs where you're like,
• 9:29
  whoa, this guy sick, you know, and then he'll be like zeros for

  two weeks. But a four-game week with the
• 9:34
  power play on deployment. Boston's actually been really
• 9:36
  sick lately. Passed us the go.

  So getting to play with him on the power play, you know,
• 9:40
  definitely, definitely a big plus.

  And look, he does. He's not currently playing with

  him on line one, but I don't think any one in that lineup is

  safe. And we saw past online 3 for for

  a bit, right. So obviously whatever line

  passes on his line one, but you know, whatever.

  So I wouldn't be surprised if I could get some time with with

  pasta or geeky or whatever at even strength.

  Yeah, if he's not in the faceoffs league, I'm I'm

  significantly less interested. But it like #10 I get it.

  I mean, you know, he, they, they are on the street.

  He is a big part of this offence.

  He gets like he usually gets pretty consistently over 15

  minutes a night. And there is the potential.

  So Boston's on a hot streak. It's definitely a solid, but to

  think that he'll be a part of that.

  Yeah, I think that what Josh said is one of the main reasons

  why he's at #10 right. He's just known to be

  inconsistent. Like you look at his game log

  and you'll be like, Oh my God, he's lost like 7 games.

  I've been so sick. And then you scroll a little

  lower and then you see like the last seven games and you're

  like, it's full of zeros everywhere.

  What like what happened? And it's just crazy that the

  point doesn't really change. Like he's always either line 1C

  or line 2C and he's always on the power play.

  So it's unfortunate that player like this, that's young, that's

  exciting, that can't put it together for, you know, more

  consistent stretches because I look at this game.

  I think he's been around for a while.

  Yeah, and that's why we tossed him on a four-game week.

  And #9 we've got JVR James van Riemsdyk of the Detroit Red

  Wings. He's currently lined 3 power

  play one, only a three-game week.

  But what he's been doing is significant enough to to, you

  know, hover around this the type of guy where if it's on
• 12:13
  four-game week, I'd bump him up in the in the ranking on a
• 12:15
  three-game week. He's still worth mentioning, but
• 12:17
  lower. That's why #9 but yeah, over the
• 12:20
  past like month, ever since he got power play 1, essentially,
• 12:23
  he's been almost at a point per game, which is kind of crazy.

  He's been getting power play points.
• 12:27
  He'll hover around maybe like two shots a game, something like
• 12:29
  that. And yeah, I mean, he got
• 12:32
  rewarded for his unreal play by getting demoted at even strength
• 12:35
  to line 3, which, you know, who knows why?

  Who knows what the coach is thinking?

  I mean, who knows why Patrick Kane is not power play one in
• 12:41
  the first place? But look, if it's working for
• 12:43
  them, it's working for them. And I think it's just worth

  mentioning. Yeah, for sure.

  And one other kind of thing here is that he's currently playing

  Line 3. As you mentioned, if the well,

  if the Red Wings trade for one of the New York Rangers guys,

  they need they're getting Casper back.

  And I mean, you think that that would that would make it like a

  lock that Panera would be on the top there.

  So that that could be that could be interesting for bedrooms like

  long term value. In the meantime, there are no

  Trocheck nor Panera in on the Red Wings, so that's.

  to the Red Wings. But if Troja goes and Caspers in

  the return, then van Riemsdyk could be like a solid Line 1

  mainstay, which would be amazing for his value.

  As the season of Panarin goes, that's a whole different story,

  Detroit landing spot? I think it fully depends on

  whether he gets power play one or not because Detroit is a top

  four power play in the league, top five like there.

  That's a super valuable place to be.

  It's it would be JVR, right? And where does he play net

  front? And in my mind, Tro checks a

  good net front guy. I know he he's usually more of a

  So I don't think it's difficult at all for him to bump JVR off

  power play one. But if they're bumping JVR, do

  they prefer to just toss came back on there?

  good place for him honestly, look, it's not the most insane

  playoff schedule. It's like a three, 3-4,

  something like that week 21 to 23.

  But I like it for. Him I think it would be great

  because I think it's a place that he can keep his bangers

  foundation like they you know, they also highlight that kind of

  style of play where they like to be a little bit a little banging

  and it's a it's a top power play and like he'll probably play

  with at least one elite winger like it'll be Lucas Raymond,

  it'll be the brackets so. Sliding right into line 2, he'll

  take the top spot and he'll be playing with like to drink it

  and cane, which is like a safe place to be.

  So I could see we're always scared with these guys because

  they're so good where they are right now that if they get

  traded, you can see it going downhill fast.

  If you what happens to Detroit, I'd be pretty happy in terms of

  like not ruining his value, you know?

  Yeah, honestly same with Panarin, like to try to solid

  landing spot for. Four of them.

  But Panera and I think it would really be bad for JVR's long

  term value. Where I think the second he has

  OK, let's go to. #8. 8 Sometimes when you have a five week

  schedule, 5 game week, you gotta recommend some guys that you

  normally wouldn't recommend, right?

  So at #8 we have Andre Kuzmenko of the LA Kings.

  He's currently line 3 power play one like I mentioned, 5 game

  week, also five game week the week after that.

  That sounds crazy, but that's like the kind of crazy Olympic

  week. So four or five games is kind of
• 15:51
  like the average, with three being little and six being a
• 15:53
  lot, but still back-to-back five game weeks.

  And look, he's on power play one.

  He's got the potential of being a good points guy.

  Like we've seen it his first year and then never since.

  But look, he's shown flashes. He scored that one unreal goal

  like 2 weeks ago and he's been chipping in the points here and

  there. And Ella's power play hasn't

  been as God awful lately as it was to start most of the season
• 16:16
  ever since they realized that Brent Clark should be there.

  So so yeah. So I like it as a as A5 game.

  If it was a three-game week, he wouldn't be on here.

  Yeah, I think as long as he has exposure to that power play one,

  that's what gives him his value, right?

  Like we he's been super streaky as well.

  We've seen him being demoted to line 4 multiple times.

  like he's a defensive liability. So whether they can hone and get

  even though Ellie's power play is a bottom 41 in the league,

  national believers, but this streak's been going on for for a

  decent amount of time, right? Like it necessarily winning all

  their games, but like the streak of like having fantasy relevant

  assets again that are not Philip Forsberg and Roman Yoshi is it's

  you know, I think they're they're relevant.

  I was gonna say like, this is maybe worth a hot topics
