- 0:51Speaker 1: to you out there listening Land. We have finally reached
- 0:56Speaker 1: week one. Coming upon us at the week zero, in
- 1:01Speaker 1: which command you Greg Florida State seminoles drunk the beer
- 1:08Speaker 1: and lost over in Dublin. Sorry about that command you, Greg,
- 1:15Speaker 1: Next time though, no me coming back. We're not going
- 1:19Speaker 1: back to Ireland, man, just one bad experience and you're
- 1:23Speaker 1: off of Ireland. Off Ireland. But it's the look of
- 1:27Speaker 1: the Irish. That's a Notre Dame thing, not a Florida
- 1:31Speaker 1: State thing. Oh I got the wrong school, different regions.
- 1:37Speaker 1: But y'all do wear the green the green tops sometime?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Don't you a play on the Irish? No, that's a
- 1:47Speaker 1: practice jersey. But but but it wasn't the Irish team
- 1:51Speaker 1: that beat you. It was a team from Georgia Tech,
- 1:52Speaker 1: a couple of miles from here in Atlanta. They got
- 1:55Speaker 1: that go though. It's the oh you thought we was
- 2:00Speaker 1: gonna let you off the hook of okay, okay, so
- 2:03Speaker 1: you knew this was coming. Yeah, I mean, look at
- 2:06Speaker 1: what we have a quarterback. That's why, that's why I
- 2:11Speaker 1: don't go to ball game. That's why I'll with that quarterback.
- 2:15Speaker 1: That was school. I think he's the problem. The yellow
- 2:20Speaker 1: jackets on and that's what they did. Now you're gonna
- 2:23Speaker 1: put it on uncle layo un Yeah that too.
- 2:28Speaker 5: That to.
- 2:30Speaker 1: People he keeps transferred, he's clearly the after the bag.
- 2:37Speaker 1: The bag is no, no, no, no. Seriously. Now, on
- 2:40Speaker 1: a serious note, he is a representation of what a
- 2:43Speaker 1: lot of people talk about when they talk about n
- 2:45Speaker 1: i ls and deals of what happens with something will
- 2:50Speaker 1: happen with some players. He leads major university from major
- 2:55Speaker 1: university for major university for whoever has the most n
- 3:00Speaker 1: IL of that deal. When he was at Clemson he
- 3:04Speaker 1: got a big nil deal. He left there to go
- 3:08Speaker 1: wherever out West was at Oregon State for another big
- 3:12Speaker 1: nil deal, and that's why he's in Florida State. It's
- 3:17Speaker 1: not like he was transferring from the Citadel to Boise
- 3:22Speaker 1: State to Southeast Missouri, all the places he went. Even
- 3:29Speaker 1: last year he had success. But then there somebody comes
- 3:31Speaker 1: in with another bag and here you go. And there
- 3:36Speaker 1: will be people in careers that go that way. And
- 3:39Speaker 1: I'm asking you, parents and the powers that be help them.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Young men, understand that there is more gold in the
- 3:47Speaker 1: NFL than it is in these nil deals. And a
- 3:52Speaker 1: lot of your success is being in the right place
- 3:56Speaker 1: for long period of time. Saying don't leave a school,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but as you're saying, three four schools and a five
- 4:06Speaker 1: year window, unless you're following the same coach that's running
- 4:11Speaker 1: the same thing. No, I'm saying, if you're following Dabbo
- 4:15Speaker 1: from Clemson to Oregon State and y'all just gonna go
- 4:19Speaker 1: over there and do it, and then y'all gonna go
- 4:21Speaker 1: down to tally Haasse and do it, then that's one thing.
- 4:24Speaker 1: But to try to be remembering other coaches named. Trust me,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I had a whole career of that. In my fifteen years,
- 4:32Speaker 1: I had eight head coaches. It's not a career building thing.
- 4:41Speaker 1: It's not nine different offensive coordinators like everybody got a
- 4:45Speaker 1: different terminology. It's week six by the time you figure
- 4:50Speaker 1: out this offense. It's a hard thing to do. So
- 4:54Speaker 1: now is that Florida States your problem until next season?
- 5:00Speaker 1: Did somebody come with a bag?
- 5:05Speaker 4: So either he going to the NFL, this is his
- 5:07Speaker 4: last year today that legislation that him stay second mon
- 5:12Speaker 4: I've been pushing that it's coming.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Remember I told him, stop the college thing, just making
- 5:17Speaker 1: the pro thing and making a semi pro thing. And
- 5:20Speaker 1: you can keep any player you choose to, just to
- 5:22Speaker 1: play for your Florida State football team.
- 5:24Speaker 4: And sir, I would like to I don't like to
- 5:27Speaker 4: start political, but I just want to say that I
- 5:29Speaker 4: won't be participating in any Week zero talks.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I identify as week one in Florida State is only
- 5:36Speaker 1: to have one. I don't I don't know how to do.
- 5:39Speaker 4: I identify as week one. You're gonna have to respect
- 5:41Speaker 4: my pronoun. I'm week one. I'm sorry, I can't do
- 5:45Speaker 4: Week zero. I won't be weak zero Florida State.
- 5:50Speaker 1: So how do we? So? How do we talk about
- 5:51Speaker 1: this first weekend?
- 5:53Speaker 4: You call us us, y'all, Yeah, you're gonna have to
- 5:58Speaker 4: you gotta respect my Week one. I can't be Week
- 6:01Speaker 4: zero can go ahead on and tender my recognation. I'm
- 6:05Speaker 4: not gonna be able to handle that pressure. Come on,
- 6:07Speaker 4: remembering not to bring up week zero.
- 6:11Speaker 2: You.
- 6:12Speaker 4: I think my right should being violated. He even said
- 6:14Speaker 4: it two three times. Since I know the fighter, what
- 6:18Speaker 4: you say, I mean, guess who's here?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Cut you off? Gold? Look the left boy, old boy
- 6:26Speaker 1: from the place. Your man's now bad producer, bad producer
- 6:33Speaker 1: back in the building after vacation. Uh, he went to
- 6:36Speaker 1: ride some rings and hang out with the Republicans and
- 6:39Speaker 1: everything else the last couple of weeks. But he's back
- 6:42Speaker 1: in the studios. First thing, before you, gentlemen got here,
- 6:45Speaker 1: he said that his soul has been saved. He's no
- 6:50Speaker 1: longer about the bauchery. Said if I find achery, that's
- 6:55Speaker 1: what he That was loosely what he couldn't really say,
- 7:00Speaker 1: but he said he was over the bauchery and he
- 7:02Speaker 1: had a saved soul. How do go?
- 7:06Speaker 4: How that's gonna work with my working progress? So, and
- 7:09Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying, I'm still a working practice.
- 7:12Speaker 1: He got a work in progress and saying that to
- 7:15Speaker 1: save soul, and I wonder he not to we I
- 7:18Speaker 1: don't want to talk about week zero. Another guy who's
- 7:21Speaker 1: already throwing his quarterback under the bus and it's not
- 7:24Speaker 1: really his quarterback. And this is what the strong season
- 7:27Speaker 1: does for the quarterback for the street, a quarterback for
- 7:31Speaker 1: I thought it's for the Florida State senterwitch quarterback for
- 7:39Speaker 1: the French New Louis. But he don't want to be saved.
- 7:42Speaker 1: First name is always messing up his full name DJ. Yeah,
- 7:47Speaker 1: that's not his full name. I don't know how you
- 7:50Speaker 1: got a last name like uncle late Junior. So it's something.
- 7:55Speaker 1: He's a junior uncle lay Le Junior. What's wrong with
- 7:59Speaker 1: his first name?
- 8:00Speaker 4: Why don't they why they just used the initials as
- 8:01Speaker 4: a difficulty DJ, like BJJJ David John.
- 8:08Speaker 1: And he was one of the first gentlemen who got
- 8:11Speaker 1: nil deal when he was a freshman because he was
- 8:17Speaker 1: there backing up Trevor Lawrence. Yes he was, Yes he was.
- 8:21Speaker 1: He was a freshman, and then they was giving him
- 8:23Speaker 1: the job and he was supposed to take over. He
- 8:27Speaker 1: played one year and lost his job and then moved
- 8:30Speaker 1: out to Washington State and now he's at Florida State
- 8:34Speaker 1: and go Simino My.
- 8:35Speaker 6: Question is Clemson fans, they're happy about it, but Florida State,
- 8:39Speaker 6: did you not see this guy at Clemson in your comforts?
- 8:44Speaker 4: I had question when it comes to these nil deals.
- 8:47Speaker 4: In the UNGLA case, He's gone from here to there,
- 8:51Speaker 4: from there to there, chasing the bag. He secured the
- 8:54Speaker 4: bag at all of these locations. There aren't any inspect
- 8:58Speaker 4: aren't any expectations of his performance. Like he went to
- 9:02Speaker 4: Ireland and lost to Georgia Tech. He wasn't supposed to
- 9:05Speaker 4: do that. And I'm saying that everybody just on some oh, well,
- 9:09Speaker 4: those things. You know in the NFL, there's accountability. We
- 9:13Speaker 4: give you this check and you're supposed to do your job. Now,
- 9:16Speaker 4: if you don't do your job, you're gonna have to fight.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Me this church game and you gotta give you gotta
- 9:25Speaker 1: give him a little give it.
- 9:27Speaker 4: You done had plenty of experience, man, gee, come on, man,
- 9:30Speaker 4: you'd have been to nine different schools.
- 9:32Speaker 1: You ain't never played Georgia Tech before?
- 9:35Speaker 4: Yes, come on, man, at Clemsond you played them when
- 9:38Speaker 4: you was at Holy Cross of Our Mother.
- 9:41Speaker 1: You switched over to the Pacific Realm Conference.
- 9:45Speaker 4: And now you know, come on, man, you lost and
- 9:48Speaker 4: nobody wants you to win. They just keep giving you money.
- 9:51Speaker 1: The US Open stars today, so you tennis fans, two
- 9:56Speaker 1: more weeks of great tennis is upon us. To night
- 10:00Speaker 1: here in Atlanta where UWNBA bandwagoners, Indiana, the Fever, the Messiah,
- 10:09Speaker 1: Caitlyn Clark here taking on the dream who've won three
- 10:13Speaker 1: of the last four games after the break, really making
- 10:17Speaker 1: a push to make the playoffs here as the season
- 10:20Speaker 1: winds down. But that is tonight down at State Farm,
- 10:24Speaker 1: So Caitlin come, they have to move out of their
- 10:27Speaker 1: oh yeah, that's right out of their home over by
- 10:30Speaker 1: the airport and move to State Farm, which is downtown.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So that's at seven point thirty round of applause, and
- 10:39Speaker 1: my hat's off to Lake Mary little League World Series
- 10:44Speaker 1: champions with a bunt to win something you just really
- 10:50Speaker 1: don't see a lot of any more. Period. You don't
- 10:55Speaker 1: really see everybody gets up there. That used to be
- 10:58Speaker 1: the first second thing that happened in a baseball game.
- 11:02Speaker 1: The leadoff for the second guy was just gonna bunt,
- 11:05Speaker 1: get on base. That was how they played. That was
- 11:08Speaker 1: the game that get on your factory room run and
- 11:12Speaker 1: if the first if if the leadoff got a single
- 11:15Speaker 1: the second hitter Bunnett to get in the second it
- 11:18Speaker 1: was generating offense. Now somebody you'd be like, man, what
- 11:24Speaker 1: is that right?
- 11:24Speaker 4: What does that dude he's holding That guy doesn't even
- 11:29Speaker 4: know how to hold his bad How did he get
- 11:32Speaker 4: on the tee?
- 11:32Speaker 1: But Lake Mary winning yesterday, and I have to admit
- 11:37Speaker 1: I was completely surprised that this is the first time
- 11:40Speaker 1: a team from Florida won the Little League World Series.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I'm not saying we got would have had like five
- 11:47Speaker 1: or six, but I just didn't think this was the
- 11:50Speaker 1: first time.
- 11:51Speaker 4: It was like Steppings, are you sure? Like somebody there
- 11:55Speaker 4: like Stepp the Olympics. I had to do research, like
- 11:58Speaker 4: somebody doesn't know what they're talking about?
- 11:59Speaker 1: Man to that. But we got a great show for you.
- 12:02Speaker 1: We'll be back command you. Greg will rebound from his
- 12:06Speaker 1: loss to Georgia Tech. The bad producer is back in
- 12:10Speaker 1: the building, at least for today. He also was informing
- 12:13Speaker 1: me that he'll start being out again tomorrow and then
- 12:18Speaker 1: thick Kenny doesn't want to go week zero, so we'll
- 12:21Speaker 1: see sanity week one.
- 12:22Speaker 4: That's four time with him four times.
- 12:28Speaker 5: Directed Disco Tech sit back, relaxant while my squash kick class.
- 12:32Speaker 5: It's haf you're a married back and be like you
- 12:34Speaker 5: see yes coming from the north, south east west. O
- 12:38Speaker 5: your nose and take a deep recessment.

- 16:05Speaker 1: Welcome to New York City. Welcome back to this boy
- 16:08Speaker 1: Shock Show. I'm this wor Shock Winge again. Deg Good
- 16:12Speaker 1: morning to you out there, comemand you Greg, Big Kenny,
- 16:16Speaker 1: the bapputus all in the building this morning. We are
- 16:21Speaker 1: the beginning of the week one of college football starting Thursday. Basically,
- 16:27Speaker 1: the chaos for the next five months will start. It
- 16:31Speaker 1: will be football, as I tell you, basically every day
- 16:36Speaker 1: except on Wednesday from here for the next five months,
- 16:42Speaker 1: really of your life. Something that happened this weekend. I
- 16:46Speaker 1: was very surprised to even learn of Floyd Joy Sinclair,
- 16:56Speaker 1: better known as Floyd Money. Maywell.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Caught me off. God to sports Joah caught me off. God,
- 17:03Speaker 4: I thought I was I thought I was confused, confused.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Boy's first name was Floyd Joy Sinclair. That's what he
- 17:10Speaker 4: was born.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Okay. Then my mama was mad at daddy, and then
- 17:14Speaker 1: Daddy said, well send him over here. I'll teach me
- 17:16Speaker 1: how to box. We'll make a lot of money. And
- 17:17Speaker 1: she was like, you know what you need to be
- 17:19Speaker 1: a Mayweather? Then if you're gonna make four, four or
- 17:22Speaker 1: five trillion dollars right right, name in Mayweather that goes
- 17:26Speaker 1: over better than Floyd Sinclair. For Floyd Sinclair, sound like
- 17:31Speaker 1: somebody you confident you're gonna be Floyd Money, sind Claire,
- 17:34Speaker 1: don't sound you know you're gonna beat that dude Money
- 17:37Speaker 1: Mayweather Money Mayweather. And when you've never lost. The thing
- 17:41Speaker 1: about Floyd, whether you like him or not, whether he's
- 17:43Speaker 1: a big if you haven't lost, you do get to
- 17:45Speaker 1: sit at the table and argue. If you're the greatest,
- 17:49Speaker 1: that gets you a seated to table. If I'm fifteen,
- 17:52Speaker 1: Oh correct, I do get to sit down.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Now.
- 17:55Speaker 4: You might not want me here, but nobody beat have
- 18:00Speaker 4: to ask you where's my water? You know what I'm saying.
- 18:03Speaker 4: I might have to look around for the waiter, but
- 18:06Speaker 4: I'm a be sitting down. Yeah, I haven't lost.
- 18:08Speaker 1: So what you want to do with that, you do
- 18:11Speaker 1: with it. But one of the greatest fighters that we
- 18:13Speaker 1: have seen, Money Mayweather, had to fight this weekend, and
- 18:17Speaker 1: I did not know Floyd even fought anymore. Forty seven
- 18:23Speaker 1: years old, forty eight years old was down in Mexico
- 18:27Speaker 1: City fighting John Gotti the Third in an exhibition fight. Oh,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I don't because I'm confused. First of all, why is
- 18:41Speaker 1: Floyd fighting exhibition fights? He got nothing else to do, apparently,
- 18:48Speaker 1: so you just called John Gotti the Third again, because
- 18:54Speaker 1: then they have a fight earlier, and something happened. The
- 18:57Speaker 1: managers got in the ring and started fighting or something
- 19:00Speaker 1: thing when they were a fight, maybe the last year
- 19:03Speaker 1: or a year before. I thought I fought one of
- 19:05Speaker 1: the that rich what was the kid named rich Paul?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Not Rich Paul? The kid is run around fighting? Or
- 19:14Speaker 1: is he just yeah? Is he just promoted those?
- 19:18Speaker 14: Oh?
- 19:19Speaker 1: I didn't know. Did they fight? He fought one of them.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the last fight that I was a couple
- 19:24Speaker 4: of years ago. Yeah, that was down in Miami. Okay,
- 19:27Speaker 4: well he had a fight this weekend. Yeah, until yesterday,
- 19:31Speaker 4: I didn't know.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Now now what I thought was interesting. Fought each other
- 19:34Speaker 1: on the helipad or something, and like the second round,
- 19:38Speaker 1: he made them change referees, which I didn't even know
- 19:42Speaker 1: you could do. You could do, but now we know
- 19:45Speaker 1: as a fighter, now we know exhibition or not. I
- 19:48Speaker 1: didn't know you could be like I want a different referee.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Have y'all ever heard of that?
- 19:53Speaker 15: No?
- 19:53Speaker 1: No, until this morning, I had no.
- 19:57Speaker 6: And I'm saying, listen, this is down all this, all
- 20:01Speaker 6: of you don't have another refereenbuilding as I'm researching all
- 20:04Speaker 6: of this story.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Question, Oh, I don't know. I've seen referees. Someone get
- 20:10Speaker 1: in if somebody gets hurt, right, But I've never seen
- 20:14Speaker 1: a fighter or coach or manager or anybody be able
- 20:17Speaker 1: to get this.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Dude, No, no, you come call the game. Now, we've
- 20:24Speaker 4: had people call for that. This reference blood, w WE wrestling.
- 20:29Speaker 4: We're talking about sanctioned events.
- 20:31Speaker 1: But he said he's seen it happen.
- 20:35Speaker 16: I'm guessing that's something that's happened and in wrestling on whatever,
- 20:40Speaker 16: uh whatever.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Hey, that stuff that you.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Be watching lay wrestling, none of that stuff is all
- 20:47Speaker 4: of that stuff you'd be supporting this make believes so well.
- 20:50Speaker 4: The Florida State game happened at week zero, so it'll
- 20:53Speaker 4: see what I'm saying.
- 20:54Speaker 1: The money Mayweather, who when he was in the Olympics
- 20:58Speaker 1: here he won the bronze as a featherweight. He left
- 21:03Speaker 1: amateur boxing went on to win fifty an old record
- 21:09Speaker 1: just being his age and to see him because boxing
- 21:13Speaker 1: for the most part is boxing, so to even get
- 21:17Speaker 1: in as an exhibition still can be a physical game
- 21:23Speaker 1: for him his age. Now, now this is the thing
- 21:27Speaker 1: years old, you in there taking some punches. I've never
- 21:31Speaker 1: seen John Gotty. The third fight was is he a
- 21:33Speaker 1: YouTube fight or two?
- 21:36Speaker 4: Not necessarily like he's just nobody really know. He's more
- 21:42Speaker 4: of a mob guy sports shock. But this is the
- 21:46Speaker 4: thing we we We've often seen well that's John Gotty,
- 21:48Speaker 4: this is John's Gotty son. Though yeah, yeah, I'm saying, okay,
- 21:52Speaker 4: like it's leaf, don't fall far from the tree. This
- 21:55Speaker 4: is the thing, sports jock. We've seen this happen in
- 21:58Speaker 4: other sports. We've seen people like my man Grant Hill
- 22:03Speaker 4: just play until I mean, he's still somewhere on somebody's bench,
- 22:07Speaker 4: ain't he like just play.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Team? Oh yeah, that's just he just retired.
- 22:15Speaker 4: We've seen football at the in boxing there it's with
- 22:19Speaker 4: it being so autonomous. I kind of control how I go.
- 22:23Speaker 4: There is nobody to go. Ah, man, you you look
- 22:27Speaker 4: too old for this? Should boxing be? Should these promoters
- 22:30Speaker 4: and these exhibition people be more concerned about that?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Like well, after the fight he had with Connor McGregor,
- 22:40Speaker 1: to me, that was a symbolizing of how sports is
- 22:45Speaker 1: spectacles now. More than it's necessarily that people are engaged
- 22:53Speaker 1: in the purity of the battle. It's more of the
- 22:56Speaker 1: brand names that I can get in the ring, and
- 22:59Speaker 1: the brand names I can get to come watch, that
- 23:02Speaker 1: I can promote, and who I can get to sing
- 23:04Speaker 1: the national anthem and walk me to the ring. Floyd
- 23:08Speaker 1: had Anthony Davis and Jared Vanderbilt, two Lakers walk in
- 23:15Speaker 1: to the ring in Mexico City, Mexico City. What what
- 23:20Speaker 1: you're doing in Mexico City today? Street?
- 23:27Speaker 4: You want to be able to rehalf were you not
- 23:30Speaker 4: in strength and conditioning the Olympics?
- 23:33Speaker 1: He what he's celebrating? Award tour boy. If you don't
- 23:37Speaker 1: celebrate yourself over there, it would be right after this.

- 27:49Speaker 1: Then she accepted, welcome back to this Why shock Shine
- 27:52Speaker 1: this woy shock Wayne Candia. We left talking about our man,
- 27:56Speaker 1: Floyd Joyce Sinclair, Floyd Joyce Andclair better known as money
- 28:01Speaker 1: may Whether the Floyd Money Mayweather one of the greats
- 28:04Speaker 1: that has ever done it. Numerous weight classes, all in
- 28:09Speaker 1: that one thirty to one fifty five, as dominant as
- 28:14Speaker 1: they can be. Just a counter puncher. I think that's
- 28:16Speaker 1: what sometimes you have to remember his style. It won't
- 28:22Speaker 1: sucker you in for what you really tune in for,
- 28:27Speaker 1: because when you hear fighting or boxing, you like aggression.
- 28:30Speaker 1: That was the thing with Mike Tyson. You kind of
- 28:33Speaker 1: want envisioned bullies meeting in the middle of the rings,
- 28:38Speaker 1: wearing off, punching. Floyd what is was more of a
- 28:45Speaker 1: counter punch. His thing was quickness, handspeed, agility, Prenelle Whittaker,
- 28:51Speaker 1: those kind of guys that just were dominant counter punchers,
- 28:56Speaker 1: Sugar Ray Leonard, counter punchers. So sometimes you want them
- 29:01Speaker 1: to lead the action, but that's not how they become champion.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Become champion, there's this kind of a punch after you
- 29:08Speaker 1: punch mentality. So but Floyd Oscar dela jya, did y'all
- 29:13Speaker 1: get him some help when he naked somewhere with some
- 29:16Speaker 1: baby oil? We've all been there, right right.
- 29:21Speaker 16: Another video came out of some video was out. Is
- 29:27Speaker 16: it was that a speedo throng or whatever. There's some
- 29:32Speaker 16: video that came out with that, and then he was
- 29:34Speaker 16: on club recently too.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I think now what I'm saying, was he at like
- 29:40Speaker 1: a daycare center or something.
- 29:43Speaker 4: I think it was like with his somewhere somewhere it
- 29:47Speaker 4: was appropriate, right, Yeah, I don't want to judge. I
- 29:51Speaker 4: don't want to judge baby or a thing. I kind
- 29:55Speaker 4: of have a point of reference, but it depends on
- 29:57Speaker 4: where you are. I guess it's a category like speed
- 30:00Speaker 4: old baby oil. It's a category that you could fine.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I'm sure. I'm sure.
- 30:09Speaker 4: In the weekend you know what I'm saying. Once or
- 30:11Speaker 4: twice in a weekend, it can't happen. He was in
- 30:14Speaker 4: something with his girlfriend or something that was somebody saw
- 30:17Speaker 4: that I didn't want to see.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Sound plausible. You do know their thing. We've all experienced
- 30:22Speaker 1: that something that you just never wanted to say. I
- 30:26Speaker 1: called it came up on Facebook for me. I never
- 30:30Speaker 1: needed to see Hoppo and some baby oider. I called
- 30:35Speaker 1: that my teenage years and stuff. So that's Oscardella at
- 30:41Speaker 1: the fight game. These guys, I think they just don't
- 30:44Speaker 1: know what they do. Oscardella, You're one of the great
- 30:47Speaker 1: champions of his time. And then it's one of those
- 30:52Speaker 1: I heard Cam Newton say something the other day and
- 30:55Speaker 1: I thought it was you know, it stood out because
- 30:58Speaker 1: Cam be right rattle on so much where he don't
- 31:02Speaker 1: actually ever really show that he is the great champion
- 31:07Speaker 1: and the great winner that he is, because he seems
- 31:10Speaker 1: like he's always trying to play Cake the bad producer.
- 31:13Speaker 1: So he brings himself down and go to say some stuff.
- 31:17Speaker 1: But the other day he says he doesn't know where
- 31:19Speaker 1: to put this need for greatness, this thing that he
- 31:24Speaker 1: learned to be great. There is nothing where he gets
- 31:28Speaker 1: to go and be.
- 31:30Speaker 7: That.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Most of things don't require him to be to be
- 31:35Speaker 1: that go that far with it, right, They don't need
- 31:39Speaker 1: John Wick.
- 31:40Speaker 6: Right, we just.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Will fight.
- 31:46Speaker 9: With the kids.
- 31:47Speaker 4: Just and you the double tap a toddler four times
- 31:52Speaker 4: in the face, so with a pillow and people, hey,
- 31:55Speaker 4: calm down, did you really just flip that little girl
- 31:59Speaker 4: over your back?
- 32:00Speaker 1: Until we're not doing the Jihant Wick thing, not with shoes?
- 32:05Speaker 1: Did you kick that little boy in his head? Come on, bro,
- 32:08Speaker 1: what are you doing?
- 32:09Speaker 8: You need?
- 32:10Speaker 1: And that's something sometimes when you see de la Joya
- 32:13Speaker 1: Floyd with all the things he could do, all the doors.
- 32:17Speaker 1: That's but he can only be Floyd in the ring.
- 32:23Speaker 1: It's the walking to the ring, the moment, the cheer.
- 32:32Speaker 1: He can only get that well at the ring. He
- 32:35Speaker 1: can't get that at his big company. He can't. None
- 32:38Speaker 1: of that comes with that. And it's a high that
- 32:42Speaker 1: he's trying to actually find. And I think that's why
- 32:47Speaker 1: when you see somebody at this age, he gets driven
- 32:49Speaker 1: back to Jihant Gott. He fights in New Mexico that
- 32:54Speaker 1: nobody ever, not New Mexico, in Mexico City, and nobody
- 32:58Speaker 1: even knows a boxer.
- 33:00Speaker 6: This weekend as you said, we made me think when
- 33:04Speaker 6: you say walking down that that feeling. Morgan Wallen had
- 33:08Speaker 6: a concert in Vegas. He had Tom Brady and Mike
- 33:12Speaker 6: Tyson walk out with him on as they walking out
- 33:15Speaker 6: like Tom will walk out of the the arena going
- 33:18Speaker 6: he had and walking out with Mike. You know, you
- 33:21Speaker 6: never see artists doing anything in that manner. So he
- 33:25Speaker 6: did that with Mike and and Tom Brady and and
- 33:28Speaker 6: you can see Mike Tyson was just enjoying this. I mean,
- 33:31Speaker 6: he was like, man, I'm walking out. I'm not going
- 33:33Speaker 6: to fight, but I'm I'm getting that that applaud that,
- 33:36Speaker 6: that hollering.
- 33:37Speaker 1: That thinking, And that's what I was going to say.
- 33:41Speaker 4: There's there's the me, the athlete, the performer, the whoever
- 33:45Speaker 4: I am that has that need to be great. And
- 33:48Speaker 4: I used that to fuel me too where I got
- 33:51Speaker 4: to and now that time is passing. But everybody I
- 33:56Speaker 4: come around remembers me when I was using so they
- 33:59Speaker 4: keep offered me the same thing. Hey man, why don't
- 34:02Speaker 4: you gonna crack a couple of jokes for it? Hey Floyd,
- 34:04Speaker 4: when you're gonna get back in the ring, Tom, I
- 34:07Speaker 4: saw some of that man, that new quarterback can't be
- 34:09Speaker 4: you and you on some eye. Man, I'm trying to
- 34:12Speaker 4: get clean. I'm cool now they you come on, bro,
- 34:16Speaker 4: one or two ain't gonna hurt nobody, And before you
- 34:19Speaker 4: know it, you in a speed out with some baby
- 34:22Speaker 4: or you see what I'm saying. It happens. A lot
- 34:25Speaker 4: of that is equally the circle I'm running in. That's
- 34:29Speaker 4: the way they know me. But searching for the high
- 34:33Speaker 4: and a speedo with baby boy, that wasn't my initial plan.
- 34:37Speaker 4: I'm saying, that's beat the stuff you get talked in day.
- 34:39Speaker 1: That's how you get caught up.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Yeah, that be the stuff you get caught in because
- 34:42Speaker 4: you're still trying to lie to everyone.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Floyd Money may whether Tom Brady versus Phil Sims. Tom
- 34:54Speaker 1: Brady makes some comments last week about the modern day
- 34:59Speaker 1: quarterback and and how he really felt like it was
- 35:01Speaker 1: a tragedy that these young quarterbacks are being thrust on
- 35:07Speaker 1: the field so quickly, almost without even being taught the
- 35:14Speaker 1: position on the pro level. Phil Sims says that they're
- 35:18Speaker 1: prepared and ready. I as I said last we still
- 35:24Speaker 1: stick around and understood more of what Tom Brady had
- 35:32Speaker 1: to say. Now there's no knock on Field. Phil is
- 35:34Speaker 1: a champion, but it is a sad case to where
- 35:40Speaker 1: so many teams because if that many teams need to
- 35:46Speaker 1: start rookies right off the bat, then that means that
- 35:50Speaker 1: people before them didn't pan out right, right, right, so
- 35:56Speaker 1: players every year?
- 35:57Speaker 2: Right.
- 35:58Speaker 1: If me and Field was sitting here and we are
- 36:00Speaker 1: in there debating, I'm like, well, why would Chicago had
- 36:03Speaker 1: needed Caleb Williams. They had They just drafted over the
- 36:08Speaker 1: last four or five six ' ten drafts, They've drafted
- 36:11Speaker 1: high at first round picks that didn't pan out for
- 36:15Speaker 1: whatever reason, to the point they're already back to. So
- 36:20Speaker 1: maybe your theory isn't right.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Well, have you have you ever a lot of times,
- 36:26Speaker 4: especially here in the United States, we've been conditioned to
- 36:30Speaker 4: believe that you get what you pay for. Have you
- 36:33Speaker 4: ever purchased something and because you weren't really familiar with
- 36:37Speaker 4: the name brand, but look at what it costs, it's
- 36:39Speaker 4: gotta be worth something. And then you get it home
- 36:42Speaker 4: and go, this is a piece of trash. And now
- 36:44Speaker 4: you're like, I wasted my money on this. Do you
- 36:47Speaker 4: think Phil Sims equates what they're paying these quarterbacks where
- 36:51Speaker 4: they're drafting them, what they've got to be proficient, you
- 36:54Speaker 4: got to be good.
- 36:55Speaker 1: You the third pick in the NFL draft. I think
- 36:58Speaker 1: he's taking from what he was saying is because they
- 37:01Speaker 1: throw more in college, but they got the experience. But
- 37:04Speaker 1: I don't see it that way.
- 37:07Speaker 19: I go.
- 37:07Speaker 1: They two thirds of their throws in college all five
- 37:13Speaker 1: quick screen between a quick stream and five yards. You
- 37:19Speaker 1: don't see that. I actually, you know that's DJ I
- 37:24Speaker 1: call game. I call games, and they don't really throw.
- 37:30Speaker 1: They throw a bunch of screens, a quick slant, and
- 37:34Speaker 1: then maybe twice a game because they got they got
- 37:37Speaker 1: a great receiver. They just go back and throw the
- 37:41Speaker 1: ball up there. That's why they started calling it the
- 37:44Speaker 1: fifty to fifty ball. It's not like the guy is open,
- 37:48Speaker 1: but he is six four, two fifteen and I and
- 37:52Speaker 1: you're five eight, so we're gonna see So it's not
- 37:56Speaker 1: like I'm actually I see the guy open and I'm
- 37:58Speaker 1: throwing it too. I'm just gonna throw with out there.
- 38:00Speaker 1: So I get what they do throw a little more
- 38:02Speaker 1: in college, but it's not in a sense of a
- 38:06Speaker 1: true passing game as much as it is screams and
- 38:10Speaker 1: bubble screens and things like that. Do they cover the
- 38:13Speaker 1: spread who is the cover of the spread? I'm saying,
- 38:17Speaker 1: does the team cover the spread? Did he? That's what
- 38:20Speaker 1: the only thing that matters now, did he get the over?
- 38:23Speaker 1: And I keep saying, I just know most of the
- 38:26Speaker 1: guy's names that you're going to talk about, they were
- 38:30Speaker 1: more week ten the team started them or the next year.
- 38:37Speaker 1: So yes, if you're drafted first, everybody knows by Thanksgiving
- 38:43Speaker 1: you probably take over. I'm hoping I can wait till
- 38:47Speaker 1: next year, like a Patrick Mahomes, like Aaron Rodgers. I'm
- 38:51Speaker 1: hoping Jordan Love, I'm hoping that it ain't gotta be
- 38:55Speaker 1: day one.
- 38:57Speaker 9: That guy.
- 38:58Speaker 1: But they don't have and they don't have a front
- 39:00Speaker 1: because the young guys keep cycling through. So it gave
- 39:05Speaker 1: more weight to what Tom is saying and not learning
- 39:08Speaker 1: the game at the college level. So now they're changing
- 39:11Speaker 1: the pro level into the college game more so they
- 39:16Speaker 1: can benefit. We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show

- 41:08Speaker 12: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generational race car driver, and
- 41:11Speaker 12: we dedicate a lot of our time to going as
- 41:13Speaker 12: fast as possible. My Grandpa Lou is the reason why
- 41:15Speaker 12: my dad and I started racing, and I'm really proud
- 41:17Speaker 12: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 41:20Speaker 12: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in
- 41:22Speaker 12: the road for us. I've learned a lot on this
- 41:24Speaker 12: journey with my Grandpa Lou, and the memories of my
- 41:27Speaker 12: grandpa will always be with me. It's important to notice
- 41:29Speaker 12: if older family members are acting differently, experiencing problems with
- 41:32Speaker 12: their memory, or having trouble with routine tasks. Talking about

- 43:05Speaker 1: Georgia is playing Clemson.
- 43:07Speaker 23: Yes, sir.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Here in Atlanta. On Saturday at noon, Florida State will
- 43:12Speaker 1: be bouncing back against Comanchee. I see you're looking for
- 43:17Speaker 1: you sposed already know who y'all first? You know, so
- 43:20Speaker 1: I'm going to look right now and.
- 43:26Speaker 4: To a championship is in town. We started today this
- 43:28Speaker 4: week also to a championship Okay, East Lakes.
- 43:32Speaker 16: The championship by this week because you know Ireland and Georgia.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Well, Georgia Tech is playing Saturday, no days off for winners.
- 43:45Speaker 1: They're playing Georgia State, no days the winners. So you
- 43:51Speaker 1: right there. You have Clemson coming to town to play Georgia,
- 43:55Speaker 1: which I mean Georgia is coming to town too, but
- 43:58Speaker 1: this is Georgia's home base in a sense, so the
- 44:01Speaker 1: Bulldogs taking on Clemson. You have Georgia State driving those
- 44:06Speaker 1: whole one point one mile Georgi trail.
- 44:12Speaker 6: Didn't nobody the schools are part trolley is nobody used
- 44:16Speaker 6: they could use to get to the walk.
- 44:18Speaker 1: So that's a lot of traffic anything over in East Lake.
- 44:22Speaker 1: The tour championship going on. So Atlanta will be buzzing
- 44:25Speaker 1: this weekend with a lot of activities. Tonight, Caitland Clark,
- 44:31Speaker 1: Aleah Boston in town, Kelsey Mitchell in town to take
- 44:36Speaker 1: on the Dream. Should be a good game. Uh tonight,
- 44:41Speaker 1: make sure you stay a farm.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I was going to say make sure it's not
- 44:44Speaker 4: at their regular location out by the airport parking lot, se.
- 44:50Speaker 1: At the Gateway. I'm sorry, it's Gateway Center parking.
- 44:56Speaker 6: Yes, if anybody, I got tickets to that Caitlyn Clark
- 44:59Speaker 6: game and if the Gateway Center you got.
- 45:04Speaker 1: So that's all going on today. We talked about Floyd.
- 45:08Speaker 1: We gave our congrats to Lake Mary winning the Little
- 45:11Speaker 1: League World Series on a bunt. Look up the highlight.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Very interesting. They bunted to a run to win in
- 45:20Speaker 1: overtime in the Little League Championship game. Where else are
- 45:27Speaker 1: we right now? Guys? A sad news coming out of Alabama.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Morgan Academy quarterback Cayton Teller. It's passed away at age
- 45:40Speaker 1: sixteen in the game against South Academy from Selma Friday night.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Cayden plays quarterback, sustained a hit in the third quarter,
- 45:56Speaker 1: and he passed away Sunday morning. So game of football
- 46:03Speaker 1: is there is a violent I haven't gotten any information
- 46:07Speaker 1: on what happened, but it didn't seem when they carved
- 46:13Speaker 1: him off it was necessarily life threatening. But it did
- 46:17Speaker 1: turn into that. So sad news for that young man
- 46:19Speaker 1: and that family and that team trying to deal with
- 46:23Speaker 1: that because you had a tender age deal at sixteen
- 46:27Speaker 1: high school. Dealing with death is a heavy burden because
- 46:33Speaker 1: you just especially within the sport that you're going to
- 46:36Speaker 1: try to go out and play. And we've seen a
- 46:39Speaker 1: couple of times teams have suspended the rest of the
- 46:42Speaker 1: season in these cases, but it is still early on it.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Typically those are when there's one or two games left.
- 46:51Speaker 1: We've seen it on the college level. If week nine
- 46:54Speaker 1: someone has passed away, even if it wasn't on the field,
- 46:57Speaker 1: we've seen teams just not to play those games. Aaron
- 47:03Speaker 1: Judd hit home run fifty and fifty one. This are
- 47:06Speaker 1: on pace to hit sixty three home runs. My interest
- 47:10Speaker 1: in this comes from if the two or three other
- 47:15Speaker 1: guys that's ever done what Aaron Judge has done, which
- 47:18Speaker 1: has hit have three years of fifty or more home runs.
- 47:25Speaker 1: But the people you put up on stats, you won't
- 47:27Speaker 1: let in the Hall of Fame. Now, I don't mean
- 47:32Speaker 1: to preach to the choir, but I'm commanding.
- 47:35Speaker 21: No.
- 47:35Speaker 1: I don't know. We'll come back, no, no, no, I
- 47:41Speaker 1: got the aady. We'll come back later. AUT's talk about
- 47:48Speaker 1: hypocrisy in the but we'll talk about apocrisy later. We'll
- 47:54Speaker 1: bring that back up. We're gonna keep it fun, and
- 47:57Speaker 1: Joy'll just make sure I get it back around to
- 48:01Speaker 1: that a little later. Okay, was ready. I got. Let's
- 48:06Speaker 1: put some fun. Let's see, let's find a fun story.
- 48:08Speaker 1: We won't get all. You know, it's monday, you upsetting.
- 48:13Speaker 4: The record would break about some good time vibes, but uh,
- 48:18Speaker 4: let's talk about Let's talk about something more happy. Shane Miller,
- 48:24Speaker 4: fifty three year old border agent, was arrested.
- 48:30Speaker 1: For asking women to show their breasts like to get
- 48:38Speaker 1: in the country. We got more other things to talk about.
- 48:43Speaker 1: He lost his job. He got and he said, let
- 48:50Speaker 1: them in. He used to work out on the boarder.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Let him.
- 48:54Speaker 4: That's gonna be a Kamela Harris advertised for the election
- 48:59Speaker 4: like it wasn't mean that was shame.
- 49:01Speaker 1: As I do it most stories, I try to picture
- 49:04Speaker 1: in Shane's fifty three. So I don't know if Mom
- 49:07Speaker 1: Dukes is still around. Hopefully she is, But you still
- 49:11Speaker 1: gotta call mama. You gotta call somebody and explain what's
- 49:16Speaker 1: going on. She ain't gonna call his daddy. She ain't
- 49:19Speaker 1: gonna call his daddy because it's gonna kind of make
- 49:21Speaker 1: sense to his daddy. I'm saying, everybody can't do it.
- 49:23Speaker 14: Shame.
- 49:24Speaker 4: Everybody ain't on the border protecting the freedom and the
- 49:29Speaker 4: sovereignty of the United States, and you see a nice
- 49:32Speaker 4: pair come to the ball and you be like America
- 49:35Speaker 4: could benefit from that.
- 49:37Speaker 1: God, let me see what you're working with.
- 49:39Speaker 4: Ah May, who's to come on in? So you saying
- 49:41Speaker 4: he didn't call his MoMA? No, no, hey, he look
- 49:44Speaker 4: at no bueno, no buino. You can't come and get it.
- 49:48Speaker 4: Someone who could like confirm to do y'all he was.
- 49:51Speaker 4: He wasn't doing anything wrong. Do either of you three
- 49:53Speaker 4: know how to explain this to your.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Mama if you got called Oh no, yeah, mama, ain't right.
- 49:59Speaker 1: You know something wrong with That's not only why I
- 50:02Speaker 1: get out of it. You know I ain't been right.
- 50:04Speaker 4: You know I've been right since that barbecue where they
- 50:06Speaker 4: knocked me into the grill and y'all just told me
- 50:09Speaker 4: to lay down.
- 50:10Speaker 1: You should have kept me away.
- 50:17Speaker 14: Like this.
- 50:18Speaker 5: I keep a nice stick in case any stick up

- 50:42Speaker 1: How is your day?
- 50:44Speaker 24: But the real world is different. Managing life's challenges could
- 50:47Speaker 24: be overwhelming.

- 53:09Speaker 1: That we have to welcome back to the Sports Shock Show.
- 53:12Speaker 1: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne can't. Good morning to you
- 53:15Speaker 1: out there and listening land. That civil suit that d
- 53:19Speaker 1: White Howard, the future Hall of Famer the White Howard
- 53:24Speaker 1: was dealing with from last July has been dropped. And
- 53:31Speaker 1: you imagine that civil suit would be dropped after Dwight
- 53:34Speaker 1: Howard took ownership and basically took the power out of
- 53:38Speaker 1: that young man's hands. He don't.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Listen to the perfect. Yeah, he's still he's still got it.
- 53:50Speaker 4: He's still like listen, man, we're gonna have a little
- 53:53Speaker 4: round table.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Don't you put it on speed? Though, listen to the perfect?
- 53:58Speaker 1: What context that's this man has for context? Beat? He said?
- 54:06Speaker 1: Just what context? The context that that man said the
- 54:11Speaker 1: words perfect beat? Just listen to the perfect Let me go, Benny,
- 54:18Speaker 1: any moment.
- 54:18Speaker 4: That could just drop in and always be ready to
- 54:21Speaker 4: man we be talking about and then the puppy drowned?
- 54:27Speaker 1: Perfect beat? We go what we need? Don't get rid?
- 54:33Speaker 1: Stay ready? Oh man between Shane Shane, I might have
- 54:43Speaker 1: to bely background to you too for the ocean. Come on, man,
- 54:50Speaker 1: it's still preseason. It's still DJ. He still learning the system.
- 54:59Speaker 1: He's still trum. A lot of that a guinness over
- 55:01Speaker 1: there in Ireland. You know again, it's dark, that dark.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Didn't expect it, that loss, looking for that perfect beat
- 55:11Speaker 1: over there. But that lawsuit against the White Howard, and
- 55:15Speaker 1: I'm one of these people. If I bring it up,
- 55:17Speaker 1: I'd like to try to bring some closure, at least
- 55:19Speaker 1: for now. The White Howard was accused of sexual assault
- 55:23Speaker 1: and last July twenty twenty three, but there was that
- 55:29Speaker 1: civil suit has been dropped. And if you remember the
- 55:31Speaker 1: white Howard did something I applauded him for. He did
- 55:35Speaker 1: not let someone hold something over his head and once
- 55:39Speaker 1: basically he stated what he said, it was over right.
- 55:46Speaker 4: Now, does having a civil suit dropped automatically qualify you
- 55:54Speaker 4: to lodge.
- 55:55Speaker 1: A countersuit defamation of character or something similar? I would
- 56:02Speaker 1: false allegation when you're when you were, when you were
- 56:05Speaker 1: alleging that I had some kind of violent crime against you,
- 56:10Speaker 1: right right? Does that make that's a difference to me?
- 56:14Speaker 1: You call it big Kenny a.
- 56:15Speaker 4: Thief and they dropped the case, That just mean ain't
- 56:19Speaker 4: have enough evidence to find the stuff he stole. But
- 56:22Speaker 4: Kenny sexually assaulted somebody, No, I didn't. All right, man,
- 56:26Speaker 4: we're gonna drop it. What you're gonna drop it? So
- 56:28Speaker 4: that means you don't have the evidence, which means I
- 56:31Speaker 4: didn't do that. And now I'm going to file a countershoot.
- 56:35Speaker 4: I hope he does. Yeah, it'd be nice just to
- 56:37Speaker 4: put that person on notice. Yeah, because too many people
- 56:40Speaker 4: do it frivolously.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Yeah, that that won't be tolerated. If it because if it,
- 56:46Speaker 1: if it happened, and it truly happened. You feel like
- 56:51Speaker 1: a person would see it to the end, absolutely to
- 56:54Speaker 1: prove it. It is nothing I would ever drop if
- 56:58Speaker 1: it ever happened.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Uh, So we will see Dwight Howard in some Chinese
- 57:04Speaker 1: basketball league. He's he's still over there.
- 57:07Speaker 16: He's playing in the Philippines philip League. Okay, okay, let
- 57:11Speaker 16: me get one more shot with the NBA team. Be
- 57:14Speaker 16: good to see him played like his last year in
- 57:16Speaker 16: the NBA, so he can retire with the Magic or
- 57:19Speaker 16: the Lakers.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Somebody like that. Need a big man just to entertain us, Yeah,
- 57:24Speaker 1: just to sit on the sideline. A Texas man kidnap
- 57:30Speaker 1: a ride and sheer driver. I'm trying to get on
- 57:35Speaker 1: everything except how people are. They're not in the Hall
- 57:39Speaker 1: of Fame hypocrites, but murmur this story stood out because
- 57:44Speaker 1: of the distance. They see kidnapped guy in Texas and
- 57:50Speaker 1: made him drive him to Florida. You called for a car,
- 57:57Speaker 1: uh and uh you want to him to take you
- 58:00Speaker 1: from Atlanta to Florida. Well, no, that's a short trip
- 58:05Speaker 1: Atlanta to Syracuse, New York.
- 58:08Speaker 4: Syracuse, New York. And you'd be like, I don't go
- 58:10Speaker 4: that far, and I'll be like click click, Oh yes,
- 58:12Speaker 4: and now I'm gonna let this story did sounds like
- 58:18Speaker 4: something I told my wife on a boys trip one time.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Baby I got kidnapped, made me go to Miami. We
- 58:27Speaker 1: was on the way to the West Lake game.
- 58:29Speaker 4: And the next thing you know, I was in Miami
- 58:32Speaker 4: and kept me down there for two days and I
- 58:35Speaker 4: just escaped.
- 58:36Speaker 1: I just escaped and came back home. So let's see
- 58:40Speaker 1: how that turned out. Yeah, it's turned into a whole
- 58:43Speaker 1: bunch of crimes because you went through like three states. Yeah,
- 58:46Speaker 1: that's interstate trade. Why am I going through Louisiana, Alabama
- 58:50Speaker 1: and the Florida.
- 58:51Speaker 4: Why am I going to Florida with a kidnapped victim?
- 58:54Speaker 4: Why do I need to get it? Hadn't gotten around
- 58:58Speaker 4: to that of why he needed to go. Greyhound was
- 59:00Speaker 4: going you ain't want to go with them.
- 59:02Speaker 1: And then they got down to the Miami area and
- 59:04Speaker 1: then he wanted him to help him basically rob somebody.
- 59:13Speaker 1: See now you made it weird. I mean, at first
- 59:15Speaker 1: it was just a regular crime. And the guy finally
- 59:18Speaker 1: able to get away when he got out of the
- 59:21Speaker 1: get just getting down there and get out of the car.
- 59:23Speaker 1: He wanted to take it to another. Okay, now, I
- 59:26Speaker 1: mean because you've been participating this loan. You been going
- 59:30Speaker 1: along with everything for the last three states. This is
- 59:33Speaker 1: the last request I got. Now all of a sudden,
- 59:35Speaker 1: you want to come on, man, I don't understand what
- 59:40Speaker 1: y'all gonna tell your parents though, still with this stuff? Man,
- 59:45Speaker 1: did you And this is the thing. This is why
- 59:50Speaker 1: when they catch him he'll go to prison forever.
- 59:53Speaker 4: Is you had I don't know how many miles that is,
- 59:57Speaker 4: but all that time to think about it, y'all had
- 59:59Speaker 4: to stop it.
- 59:59Speaker 1: Get ass.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: I'm sure he was on you on large fund on
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: large I didn't drink. I think that the article said
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: it was like a little bit over eleven hundred.
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: Eleven, so he must have been deep in Texas then
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: what I'm saying, and you y'all stopped to get something
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: neat you on a sprite?
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: Now, sweet tea? Okay, what number three? Can they tell him?
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: Give me an extra ranch? I'm saying, y'all with all
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: of that, and you had a chance to go man,
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: backed up, I'm gonna get out and go in and
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: get the blue cheese. And you had all that time
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: to go to because you know commands you like blue cheese.
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: He liked blue cheese, but but he won't. Blue cheese crumbles,
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: not the sauce. Y'all had all of that time, and
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: you steal was awesome. Now were going to Florida. We'll
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: be back sports after this, come.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: And collected, and y'all grew into a man that's wildly big.
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: John Boy, Wayne Born of the sports Joshho with Wayne
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: gam videos dumming up next.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: My simple solution to their problem was remove people from

- 1:02:16Speaker 21: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:02:18Speaker 21: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 1:02:20Speaker 21: forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:02:25Speaker 21: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:02:27Speaker 21: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:02:29Speaker 21: survive without me. That's when I'm in an appointment with

- 1:02:32Speaker 8: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family

- 1:02:40Speaker 21: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have

- 1:03:28Speaker 9: You may began, I'm jack again.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Show, freak comes comes, it comes along.
- 1:03:38Speaker 28: Is it just.
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: I'm a doing I'm gonna go on the way you
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: made Bill Vegan tell me wait, Bay this War Shock Show.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I'm this War Shock Wing getting good morning to you
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: out there and listening Land glad to be here with you.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: Come on you Greg in the building, Big Kenny, the
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: funny man himself, the perdu Soa, back in the building
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: after his sabbatical. Ready to No, it wasn't a sabbaticle
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: comen it was close. He got joke. But he's back
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: in the building as well. As we talked about the
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: US Open opening or not opening, but starting to date
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: up in New York, uh Indian the fever here against
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: the Atlanta Dream in Atlanta as well. We are headed
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: into the first week of college football. After we got
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: off a Week zero with Florida State losing to Georgia Tech.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: And then it was like four or five of the
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: game Saturday. But that's the one who kicked off the season.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: That was the first game I saw on television for
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: college right, yeah, sorry, at noon. It was the first
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: game I saw.
- 1:04:59Speaker 16: So I've read there's us there's a with Week zero.
- 1:05:04Speaker 16: There's you have to petition to play a game like
- 1:05:07Speaker 16: that early in the in the year, and most of
- 1:05:10Speaker 16: them are playing overseas or playing in Hawaii. With Delaware State,
- 1:05:15Speaker 16: they had their issue with flying out there, but that
- 1:05:21Speaker 16: most of the time, it's like teams who play who
- 1:05:23Speaker 16: are playing Hawaii can play Week zero if they want.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Fam you played Norfolk State here in Atlanta on Saturdays
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: Cricket Classic. That's one of my one of my great
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: friends growing up. There are parks. He's running for senator
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: in Florida and I've had a chance to go down
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: to his fundraiser. Interesting, when you go to fundraisers, they
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: actually center around raising funds. So don't go to a
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: fundraiser thinking you're just people asking you for money, folks.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: So disrespectful dude just came up to me like, you're
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: gonna be a thousand dollars?
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Don't a thousand dollars? Don't noticed? Dude, they just flat
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: out ask you. That's the thing, because you think about it,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you think, oh, well no, they're just have an event,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: and you know, no, we need to I thought the
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: ticket out ticket out about was my entry. But the
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: money they fled out asked you for? Uh, those dead presidents?
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Actually how many? I mean, let me ask you this question.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: How many different I know Parks was there? How many
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: other politicians was there at that event? What you're saying
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: that they were asking they? I mean, I'm just wondering
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: if it was more than just him asking for money.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Well it be him and his people.
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: Okay, you have somebody working the other side of the room,
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: so you got two or three people working. Like if
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: you tell one person though, well he.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Told us, know you go working, and they come around
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: and say somebody else, Well, no, I don't think they're
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: hiding the working there.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: Actually, anyone that's getting up there to talk is because
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: because I'm telling somebody in there just trying to follow
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: the champagne tray and dodge you. But there's another person
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: watching that person. And when you come to get another glass?
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: Champagne go, oh, hey, you go, sir, And I want
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: to talk to you man. You that comedian guy, ain't you?
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: They say you're registered? Yeah, we want to know if
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: you'd be willing to donate.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Pat McAfee from ESPN wants everyone to know that he
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: didn't stop talking about Caitlyn Clark because of your comments
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: on social media. He says that God told him to stop.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Oh everybody, Hey, God, say he said God? Nobody got
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: no comment? Are you saying? God? Cool?
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Jay's character from Into Deep God, the Messiah gave birth,
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: had the son that God. Yes, it was on some
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: Hey bro layoff correct, Hey what was.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: He was he?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Did he criticize her or after the he called it
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the call the B word, But he was using in
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: a complimentary way, and he got a lot of criticism.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: And he said he stopped because God spoke to him
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: and told him to stop because and God was like,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: if if anybody you know what it's like to forgive
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: a woman, it's me. So I just want to make
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: sure I passed that alone. From Pat McAfee. All right,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: from the Pat McFee show. I just wanted you all
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: to know that his jersey that he wore when he
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: called the shot, the famous call shot, which if you
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: watched a documentary on him, some of his teammates say
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: they don't know if necessarily that was his intention or
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: he was just pointing to something, but it made for
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: great theatrics and the media loved it. But that jersey
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: that he wore when he did that famous point and
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: then hit the home run sold for a record on Forbes?
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Was it Forbes or which house? I think it's so
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Southerb's twenty four million dollars for this church that has
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: to be one hundred years old at this moment, twenty
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: four million dollars in now as a result, ninety one
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: years old, ninety one years the heritage auctions in.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Dallas, heritage auctions, which leads me to my next point.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: I'm one hundred percent sure now that now the Cinaloa
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: Cartel has twenty million clean dollars. I'm one hundred percent
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: sure now that I mean it costs twenty four twenty
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: four and now they have twenty million clean dollars.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: I'm one hundred percent sure that. I'm sure.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: No, it's Babe Ruth, but it's heritage auctions. So I'm saying, babe, rude,
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: big bambino. Yeah, okay, okay, now's the ruth built you you?
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Now, I would.
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: I would dispute. I was going to say the Sultan
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: of Swat and see that's that. I was going to say,
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: tell me the last thing that you saw that was
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: ninety eight years old. But a cousin celebrated a birthday
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: over the weekend. She turned seventy seven, and she had
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: some school books that dated back to like nineteen oh
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: three or something like that.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: So it can happen. But are we sure this is
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: the one he was? It one that we found that
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: he wore four years later. But it look old.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: I mean we're talking about almost one hundred years, so
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: ninety three year old Jersey look as old as ninety
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: seven year old Jersey.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: We're not talking about the money though, well, twenty four
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: million dollars that Jersey sold for Do you wear it
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: or what do you do with it? I always ask
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: you all this question, fusing people about touching it, but
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: who sees it? You gotta put it in the fourier
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: of your house, because for twenty four million dollars, you
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: probably enough company house put in the study.
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: Now, and you going study you get it, and and
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: I don't know if you've ever collected things, and you
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: put them in a place where you'd be proud to
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: display them. And after having them a while, you realize,
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: ain't nobody gonna see this. Ain't nobody put me see this?
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: The only one.
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: I'm the only one coming to my trumphy room. Nobody,
- 1:11:59Speaker 4: I don't have enough people come by.
- 1:12:01Speaker 19: I go.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: And then this is when I was saying, it doesn't happen.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: So it's personal. And when you do get a chance
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: to show it, it's worth that money. Hey man, y'all
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: did't never see Babe rufs what?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: And that's it.
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: At one time during Christmas when you stary your brother
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: in law, David Wells pitched in a Babe roof hat
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: he bought at an auction when he was pitching for
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: the Yankees, and he wore so and he bought the
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: hat for thirty five thousand.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: He put it on, pitched in it, and get your
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: money's worth, I suppose.
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: And he got fired twenty five hundred for pitching anyboy
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: major League Baseball, twenty four million for.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: A jersey that is a little steep. Twenty four million dollars.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I want you to dig baby, roof up. I want to.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: I haven't.
- 1:12:49Speaker 16: I haven't seen like how it was authenticated or anything
- 1:12:52Speaker 16: like that either, Like it can just be someone made
- 1:12:55Speaker 16: this jersey.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: And a new survey says that adult without a college
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: degree a more likely to have no close friends. Is
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: what the new survey No close friends.
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: So you might make a decent living and you won't
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: ed up home us, but you ain't gonna enjoy it
- 1:13:22Speaker 4: with nobody. Is that what the what we're supposed to
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: get out of that go to college because you need
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: it's more social. I guess it keeps you more social,
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: teaches you more of a social well I'm saying. Was
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: that the lesson that they used to teach us about
- 1:13:39Speaker 4: why we go to college though, so you could be
- 1:13:41Speaker 4: a better socially well rounded person.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: They used to try and tell us. So you can live,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: you can eat indoors. That's the college.
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: But another benefit of it is it teaches you socialization skills.
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: But what's interesting to me is having just drop kids
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: off at college. They don't talk to each other. They
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: just look at their phones all day. That's what makes them.
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: What's house that social well?
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: There's more, there's me and there's you. There might not
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: be the nineteen year old big Kenny. You can't just
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: the survey wasn't done for just nineteen year old.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: Okay, right, So the people who because I still have
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: friends from college almost forty years, they're still my friends
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: and close friends.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: We communicate daily. So it makes sense you you communicate
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: with more of your college friends than you do your
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: high school friend.
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, And I do have some of those
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: that I communicate with daily as well, but far more
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: college friend high school.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Yeah. And that's when I read the survey, I did
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: realize that I have kept contact with more of college friends,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: right than high school friends.
- 1:14:48Speaker 28: Right.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: So we'll be back more to Sports Shock Show right
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: after this chuck and.
- 1:14:53Speaker 18: Then ducking, bucking, sucking and ping the fucking said, I'm
- 1:14:57Speaker 18: not the stuff in that being with market, I can't
- 1:14:58Speaker 18: tell me nothing.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: And when I'm stuck here, don't go away.
- 1:15:03Speaker 7: More of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gant videos

- 1:19:41Speaker 1: seanra Wilson, the actress fifty five, Tom Ford sixty three.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Breonna Stewart the great NBA baller now with the Liberty,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: She's thirty. Rod Wade the Rapper is twenty five. Jamal
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Lewis Super Bowl running running back, my boy forty five
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: years old. Actor Chris Pine forty four. Cassie can you
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: say Cassie birthday? Y'all? All okay with that? Yeah? Cassie,
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, definitely okay. Just to know what side of
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: the pendulum, yeah, was on she's thirty eight, thirty eight
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: years old. And the beard James Harden, it's thirty five.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: It's James Harden. Marvin Harrison's senior is on this list
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: as well. He's fifty two. He has been added to
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: the lawsuit fouled by fanatics? Is that correct, Kenny, that
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I was reading lawsuit? That is a legend that Marvin
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Harrison's senior is the one who right put his signature
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: on the contract that has gotten Marvin Harrison Junior. Yes,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: in some trouble today, Harrison Junior first round picked to
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: the Cardinals, Arizona Cardinals, Go ahead, big Ny.
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: The suit that was refiled by Fanatics claims the defendants
- 1:21:12Speaker 4: in the case deliberately, quote unquote deliberately mislaid Fanatics into
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: believing there was a binding contract between Harrison Junior, his
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: company and Fanatics and that Harrison Junior had signed that contract.
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: It also says that Harrison Senior led Fanatics to believe
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: that Harrison Junior had signed the binding term agreement and
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: he operated under the terms of that contract for one year.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: But now he says that he never entered into a
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: binding agreement with them. It was with his company. But
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: his signature is on the binding agreement. But they're saying
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: that his father, Harrison Senior, signed it. So they're saying
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: all of that. Y'all knew he was gonna do this stuff,
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: and so they threw that in it.
- 1:21:57Speaker 19: D L.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: Hughley the comedian and says that he will never go
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: on Shannon Sharp's Club. Shaysha says the podcast it's too messy.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: We've kind of alluded to that. Yeah, Yeah, in some
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: cases most of us, I think from the surprise that
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Shannon Sharp, who has built a media empire around himself,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: would have certain storylines and certain ways he delivers those
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: storylines was a little shocking.
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: Do you think that Do you think that that was
- 1:22:41Speaker 4: something that happened, Like he didn't go into it to
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: be salacious, but then that episode got fifteen trillion views
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: and he thought, this is the wave I'm going to
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: ride it.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Do you think that happened?
- 1:22:56Speaker 4: Do you think he just got so tired of being
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: the what you'd expect sports commentary to be, like that,
- 1:23:03Speaker 4: I'm going to go off the beaten path and show
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: them aside of me, they've never seen. They're gonna be
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: shocked by seeing this.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Shannon.
- 1:23:10Speaker 16: I would think it was you know, based off of
- 1:23:13Speaker 16: the Kat Williams interview, that's what people want to see,
- 1:23:19Speaker 16: and so he's kind of leaned more into that with
- 1:23:23Speaker 16: the Monique interview with Gary Owen and other comedians that
- 1:23:28Speaker 16: he's had on and then get into what other actors
- 1:23:34Speaker 16: like we it was. It kind of it started off
- 1:23:36Speaker 16: as like you know, having you know, some actors and
- 1:23:39Speaker 16: some other athletes to have more in depth conversations, but
- 1:23:42Speaker 16: it's it's just about trying to go viral, trying to
- 1:23:46Speaker 16: get something that you know, gets people talking in a gossipy.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Sort of way.
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: I don't, I mean I like it. I like Shannon's show.
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: I mean he mixes up. He doesn't just have comedians.
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: He has a variety of of different types of talent.
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: It just happened at one time with the Cat Williams
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: that no, no, no, no no, it started with sexual
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: positions with Coach Prime and yes, let's go back to
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: where did What's that? That's another show?
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: What?
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: What's another show? Prime?
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: That's a different show. That's a two different shows. That's
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: two different shows, Shannon Sharp. But it's two different shows, though,
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: was it not?
- 1:24:32Speaker 16: It's two different they're both they're both hosted by Shannon Shark.
- 1:24:35Speaker 16: But it's two different shows, the one with him and.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: But no matter where you go, you're you. You're Shannon Sharp.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Because you changed the name of the club, don't mean
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: that it's the different it's another club. No, it's the
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: same called Nightcap. No, it's just a different name to
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: the same thing. It's ice cream. You just keep calling
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: it a frosty. It's just soft served. That's all it is.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: You just decided to call it something you see it's
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: a hamburger, or is the Royale with cheese? It's it's
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: still just the same thing. He took one mess and
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: put it on a different heading. It's still you know
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: it the Royale with cheese.
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: Because they ain't got the metric system, you know, taking
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: this the what's what's my man? With McDowell's and McDonald's mcdowald,
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: mister McDowell, because he didn't.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Put seeds on his bird on his it's the same
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: now it's just season no seed. Somebody out front wants
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: to talk to you. They're not from McDonald's. Let me
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: back more than Sustock show right after this, don't bowl.

- 1:28:43Speaker 15: yo yo.
- 1:28:55Speaker 7: We don't know.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: What Matthew the Sports Shock Show. This wor schuck Wayne Canny,
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Good morning to you. We're about ten days away from
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: kickoff for the NFL season the fifth of September on
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: Thursday night the Baltimore Ravens. We'll head to Arrowhead, Kansas
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: City to kick off the season for the NFL. What
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: a big game. Lamar Jackson and his new running back
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: going in to take Derrick Henry, going to take on
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: Travis Kelsey, Patrick Mahomes and the defending champs. Still a
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: lot of questions. Certain teams have decided on their quarterback,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: at least for Week one. Bo Nicks with Denver, Jaydon
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: Daniels with the Commanders to name two, Caleb Williams with
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: the Bears. All have been named rookies to start their
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: first games. The stealers Mike Tomlin seems to be on
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: the lot pressure Russell Wilson versus Justin Fields. I feel
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: like the stealers should stick with whatever formula they thought
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: they were going to use to make this decision. So
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: if your thought process was I'm getting Russell Wilson and
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: let him play and if he doesn't pull it off,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: then I'm gonna go with Justin Fields, go that route.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: Don't start that hole from the beginning, right, It's just
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: gonna blow up in your face. If that was the route. Now,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: if it was open ended where you got both of
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: them and you was just gonna make a decision off
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: the preseason, right, then go with that. Well whoever you
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: felt had the best. But if you really got it
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: in the order of it was Russell Wilson's job to
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: lose to Justin Fields, then that's what you need to
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: stick with, regardless of what you might have saw in
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: the preseason, because then everybody can accept when it happens
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: right with a little more ease. But if that wasn't
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: the planning, you start Justin Fields and then Justin Fields
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: doesn't pan out, then you try to push Russell Wilson
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: in it's gonna most.
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: Likely blow up in your face because we've seen Russell
- 1:31:24Speaker 4: Wilson reluctantly quarterback before. We know what that's like. When
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: he's kind of you know, Russell, wee things. It ain't you,
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: it ain't me, it's just kind of us together. We're
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: going to move in a different direction. And then hey, hey, Russell,
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: remember when we remember when we were gonna move in
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: a different direction. We're not really ready to do that
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: right now. So you stick around and and he'll just
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: I'll show up, but I won't show up. Does that
- 1:31:52Speaker 4: make sense? So I, in my opinion, his abilities and
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: his willingness to play is attached to his moods and
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: his feelings about how you feel about him. So yeah,
- 1:32:08Speaker 4: I would start Russ first, and if he's just deplorable,
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: then we'll put Justiny.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: If that's the plan, bad producer, that's the plan, correct?
- 1:32:17Speaker 6: Yeah, you originally signed Russell to come in to be
- 1:32:20Speaker 6: to be your starter. I think Mike Tomlin, he's a
- 1:32:24Speaker 6: veteran coach.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: He knows what to do. He's gonna do. He's gonna
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: go with Russell.
- 1:32:28Speaker 6: He's not gonna give into the fans He's not gonna
- 1:32:31Speaker 6: give into media or anything in that manner. He's gonna
- 1:32:34Speaker 6: go with what he knows what's best for his teams.
- 1:32:37Speaker 6: The main thing that he wants the Steelers get back
- 1:32:39Speaker 6: to is, I know Steeler fans, is that defense. You know,
- 1:32:42Speaker 6: they've always been that managed on offense, but the defense
- 1:32:47Speaker 6: has always been, you know, that solid.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: And he's he it's a lot of questions up there.
- 1:32:53Speaker 6: But the quarterback controversy, you never heard that something like
- 1:32:55Speaker 6: that at Pittsburgh, So that's sort of something new.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: Well, we saw it last year, the last couple of years.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: That's why we have Russell there. I just drafted a
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: quarterback two years ago.
- 1:33:08Speaker 6: I mean, well, they didn't get prepared for the Ben situation.
- 1:33:11Speaker 6: When Ben was leaving, it was just, you know, anybody
- 1:33:14Speaker 6: that it seemed like that Ben seemed like Ben would
- 1:33:18Speaker 6: always are you're not coming here, You're not taking my job.
- 1:33:20Speaker 6: It seemed like the Ben just had control. Heing coach,
- 1:33:24Speaker 6: had a relationship, and it's I just felt like they
- 1:33:27Speaker 6: didn't get prepared, like, as you said, the draft of
- 1:33:30Speaker 6: Jordan Love or or someone else to succeed. And that's
- 1:33:35Speaker 6: the only reason the Steelers had have had that quarterback issue.
- 1:33:40Speaker 16: I don't think that's what as far as they it's
- 1:33:42Speaker 16: not that they weren't prepared, it's that they have historically
- 1:33:46Speaker 16: not like trade make trades to get extra draft picks.
- 1:33:51Speaker 16: They always keep their first round pick, but because you know,
- 1:33:55Speaker 16: if they're five hundred or better in the Mike Tomlin era,
- 1:33:58Speaker 16: they're picking in the middle or too late first round,
- 1:34:04Speaker 16: which you're not going to always find a quarterback. The
- 1:34:08Speaker 16: quarterbacks are going at the top of the draft, and
- 1:34:13Speaker 16: who's been that guide to where they could focus on
- 1:34:16Speaker 16: getting like it. Basically, they did not get a quarterback
- 1:34:20Speaker 16: that they could build around because that quarterback wasn't there.
- 1:34:24Speaker 16: Kenny Pickett wasn't that guy. They tried it. He went
- 1:34:27Speaker 16: to pitt It's a homegrown but it didn't work. So
- 1:34:31Speaker 16: it's not that they weren't prepared, just that guy wasn't
- 1:34:34Speaker 16: there for them.
- 1:34:34Speaker 4: To get Online listener and Twine Literly says that Russell
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: Wilson is a short term solution and he has seen
- 1:34:41Speaker 4: better days that he needs to serve as a mentor.
- 1:34:44Speaker 4: The Feels and the Steelers only spent a cup of
- 1:34:47Speaker 4: coffee on signing Russell Wilson.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: Well with Russell Wilson and a couple of people thank
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: you for that comming in to one. A couple of
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: people have said that to me as well. But if
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: you didn't bring me in to do that, this is
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: not college. I'm not here to mentor anybody, right, I
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: only come to mentor if we had the mentor conversation.
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: This is pro ball, this is a job. This is
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: not high school. This is not college. People that men. No,
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: I'm just making sure everybody knows. Laughing at my own person.
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: There are guys that are kept around like an Odonna Haslin,
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: but him and that organization had those conversations about him
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: being a mentor to a lot of those guys. He
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: basically was their player personnel guy that they would have
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: been paid to stay in the office just on the court.
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: But we know you're not gonna play. We know how
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: this is gonna work. So I had a couple of
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: people like, well, won't Russell just mentor him? And I'm like,
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: why would he do that, That's not what you hired me.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: Unless it still has had that conversation with them, I
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: don't know, because it seemed like the justin Field things
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: just kind of happened. They into that.
- 1:36:05Speaker 6: It didn't seem like that was the plan that just
- 1:36:08Speaker 6: fell upon them. But it was early on when we
- 1:36:13Speaker 6: knew Chicago had to pick. There was talking about Pittsburgh
- 1:36:16Speaker 6: possibly that was one of the teams along with Atlanta,
- 1:36:19Speaker 6: a couple of teams that Justin Fields may end up with.
- 1:36:22Speaker 6: So if there was, they were GMS or whoever scouting,
- 1:36:27Speaker 6: someone was looking.
- 1:36:28Speaker 16: Back, but that came up after signing Russell Wilson. They
- 1:36:33Speaker 16: signed Russell Wilson to be the starter and like, oh,
- 1:36:35Speaker 16: we can also get Justin Fields and we'll figure Like
- 1:36:39Speaker 16: so they I don't blame this is this is something
- 1:36:41Speaker 16: that's not going to be solved. It wasn't gonna be
- 1:36:43Speaker 16: solved before week one, but hopefully by the start of
- 1:36:47Speaker 16: next season they'll figure out what's going on.
- 1:36:49Speaker 6: I think Mike Tomlin is a coach that can handle
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: this situation better than anyone else at this time, and
- 1:36:56Speaker 6: I think that he would do a great job with
- 1:36:58Speaker 6: navigating through this well.
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: I don't have all that deep who role you have
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: for Mike Tumblin like that. I think Mike Tumblin has
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: benefited from an organization that has consistently won because they
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: do it as an organization, not necessarily because of the
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: head coach. He is just a piece. That's why they
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: are successful. We all have a role in Pittsburgh and
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: we all hold each other accountable. Nobody's role is any
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: bigger than the other. And most Pittsburgh quarterbacks just get
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: to come around to be a star, if that's what
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: they have. Very rarely drafted a quarterback in a mindset that, oh,
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: you're gonna be a star. Ben Rothensburger was not drafted
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: even like that. He was the first round pick, but
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: he wasn't a household name in the first two or
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: three years. It was just stay out of the way.
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: It was hand the ball off, run the ball, play defense,
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: kind of, don't turn the ball over right, and they
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: let him slowly churn into what we became to know
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: as Big Ben. So if any of these quarterbacks have
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: had an issue, none of these teams of recent years
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: have been able to identify with what Pittsburgh lays their
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: hat on. When you want to have a great defense,
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: then you have to have a great run game. They
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: coincide with each other a lot more than you think.
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: But when you go dig up those facts, you will
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: see most of your top defenses had the Baltimore Ravens,
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: the forty nine ers over the last couple of years,
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: they had up where they don't have to play as
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: many plays and you can shorten the game for him,
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: you can cheer him some clock. So with both of
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: these quarterbacks, where is Najie Harris in this? It's without ask.
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: You.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: You drafted him thinking he was going to be the
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: next Le'Veon Bell, the next Jerome Bettis. Those kind of
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: guys have that kind of impact and he hasn't since
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: he's been there. And like to give a big shout out,
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: try man Antoine Lilly who just hit us up on
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: on our page. You say you won a big award. Well,
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: he was elected, elected.
- 1:39:27Speaker 6: To be he's elected to Imperial Dive in of the
- 1:39:33Speaker 6: shriness of North and South America.
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: He's the top ten in charge.
- 1:39:38Speaker 6: He's a well twelve top ten in charge right now
- 1:39:42Speaker 6: as far as that, he's working his way to the top.
- 1:39:44Speaker 6: But it's a great honor because he was elected. And
- 1:39:46Speaker 6: when you're elected with over what thirty thousand people just
- 1:39:51Speaker 6: that was there to elect you. We have more than that,
- 1:39:53Speaker 6: but just to there to elect you at that time,
- 1:39:56Speaker 6: it means you you're well liked and you're doing your
- 1:39:58Speaker 6: job worm for Congress.
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: Okay, hey, well, thank you and congratulations my duke. We'll
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: be back with more to Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 1:40:09Speaker 18: What bum clock money like I got it out of
- 1:40:13Speaker 18: my name's rock Bah.
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: God, it makes me wonder how many heads does that hot?
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: How many different conclusions there?
- 1:40:21Speaker 7: Joh't bowl, Wayne Or of the Sports Josh Show with

- 1:40:28Speaker 32: Said you'd never buy your kid candy from the checkout

- 1:40:35Speaker 32: to clean their face, never ever become a minivan mom.
- 1:40:40Speaker 32: So when you say you'd never leave your child in
- 1:40:42Speaker 32: a hot car, no, it can happen. Cars get hot fast,
- 1:40:46Speaker 32: and kids can be at risk in temperatures as low
- 1:40:49Speaker 32: as sixty degrees.
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: Fair night, never happens before you leave the car. Always

- 1:41:11Speaker 1: So what should I do with all these coals?
- 1:41:13Speaker 3: Don't just toss them out? Put them in a metal container,
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: because those embers can start a wildfire.

- 1:41:44Speaker 1: I'll face a hurricane without mets. Now that's a tough
- 1:41:47Speaker 1: pill to swallow.
- 1:41:49Speaker 22: Let's prepare so we all have a better story to tell.

- 1:41:59Speaker 1: And now back to the sports John Wing Yandy its wing.
- 1:42:20Speaker 4: Between log an say you can see the sports jaint
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: I'll sing even Big Janny, Welcome.
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: Back to the What Shock show. This What Shock Wing
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: can d is very interesting as a show, which is
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: getting around to Dion Sanders. Remember there was no bigger
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: topic in sports last year in the Colorado Buffaloes. No, no,
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: no bigger topic. He's a sports person.
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: It was.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: It was hands down the biggest topic. Only thing competing
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: with it was Caitlan Clark like it was the biggest
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: show spectacle, Ringling Brothers and Bonning, Me and Bailey and
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: everything did but did not I'm talking about with the animals.
- 1:43:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, before you made the elephants go home, we
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: talked about with the horses chasing the tigers around the ring.
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: Let me ask you something though, didn't We also predict
- 1:43:19Speaker 4: that this moment was coming when if there wasn't an
- 1:43:23Speaker 4: extreme amount of winning, his.
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: Leading the reports, his leading the shows would diminished. Correct
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: that if without that, at some point winning will be
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: the biggest part of the story. You can get one
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: or two years of all that without the winning, just
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: because he's Dion and the greatness that he brought to
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: the field and the baseball diamond, and he's one of
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: the great characters of sports. When you when you think
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: about he's up there with the legends of the bragadocious
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: to talk the game, you know, not just there are
- 1:44:03Speaker 1: there have been tremendous quiet superstars, right, like you know
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: Michael Jordan, Barry Sanders where they just played Joe Montana
- 1:44:12Speaker 1: was one of the most you know, bad boy. You
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: don't even know what his voice sounded like, barely, barely,
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: but you do know. I saw that sketches commercial again.
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: But but you do. But you know every you know
- 1:44:29Speaker 1: all the ones that I'm pretty I shook up the world.
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: You remember Muhammad Ali, You know exactly what they sound.
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, brother, Mike Tyson. Those you know,
- 1:44:44Speaker 1: I'm saying, there's equal to greater people than them. But
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: some people just they're quiet superstars. They don't have much
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: to say. Dionne always has had something to say. Uh,
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: that's why we love and and and.
- 1:44:56Speaker 12: Uh.
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: He's just an entertainer. Anything you infuse him is going
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: to be about entertainment. Now it's about winning. It's a
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: demand of a bowl game minimum, especially how far they've
- 1:45:10Speaker 1: dropped the Bowl game, right. I mean, it still irks
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: me that five hundred is Bowl worthy. I just think
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: that's a bunch of credits. Well, when you got seventy
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: three bowls and forty two teams, you should still reward
- 1:45:25Speaker 1: those teams regardless, you have to be seven and five.
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: And that's not a stretch.
- 1:45:35Speaker 16: That's really not another topic, but just kind of the
- 1:45:37Speaker 16: racket of creative bowl game is like we could create
- 1:45:40Speaker 16: a bull game, but.
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: Right the optimum word, they're seeming like it's racket.
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: That's the thing about this six and six bowl game
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: culture is it seems like you kind of cheating us,
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: Like you scamming us a little bit with are you
- 1:45:55Speaker 4: really fina charge us bowl game prices for six and sixteen?
- 1:46:00Speaker 1: And now with the new playoff system, I don't I
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: really don't have an interest if it ain't my team.
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: And watching two six and six teams that play, right,
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: I really feel like I can do something else with
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: that time in December twenty eighth watching two six accron
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: at six and six play Old Miss and you're trying
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: to hype it to be that's what sports king, And
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: I'm saying that.
- 1:46:27Speaker 14: You got me.
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: You trying to hype it like I should be out
- 1:46:29Speaker 4: going to get wings and setting up, you know, the
- 1:46:32Speaker 4: bar for my friends.
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: To come and wings so expensive we we almost have
- 1:46:37Speaker 1: to say them for the Super Bowl. Yeah yeah, I
- 1:46:41Speaker 1: mean have you I keep telling you have you gone?
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: And got your piece. Yes, I have twenty three. That's
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: like nineteen dollars.
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: I'm saying, I'm fighting. I'm still going to the off
- 1:46:53Speaker 6: the food trucks. Finally the week you never know getting
- 1:46:56Speaker 6: deal like kids, kids just went back to school. So
- 1:46:59Speaker 6: now the wing drop behind me a wing A wing
- 1:47:03Speaker 6: date is almost low.
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: It used to be going out to get the family
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: wings and it's three hundred dollars from now that the
- 1:47:10Speaker 4: kids got.
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: It's like forty two dollars hour these trailers again. Start
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: finding these people selling out their trailers again. They got
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: the best way. That's healthy. Well, I'm not gonna run
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: around town to find the wings. Then I burnt the
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: money extra money, I'm saying gas. No, I mean there's
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: a couple people if I drive from it from where
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: I live the old National and spent twelve dollars gas.
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: I m always just went walked over into the corner.
- 1:47:40Speaker 1: The twenty four dollars saved my time.
- 1:47:44Speaker 6: That doesn't make sense, though, I get you want me
- 1:47:47Speaker 6: to face chase down a food truck.
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: I'm saying they got they still got them. And then
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: prices if I'm if I'm driving by and look over
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: and see a food truck. Sure, but I can't just
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: be wasting you know how much gas is that? Yeah?
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: Yeah gas prices went up Yeah secretly but someone said
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: and the covers Dion has banned a columnists come as
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: you did you know that? Yeah, there's a columnists that
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: he banned for asking questions.
- 1:48:19Speaker 16: Before, like questioning his leadership, giving him all kinds of nicknames.
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: Yeah, Denver Posts, Sean Keeler for asking questions personal questions
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: Coach Prime has I didn't know that they would allow this.
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: Did he did? Y'all hear the questions? I didn't read
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: much in it.
- 1:48:40Speaker 16: It was based on like how he's covered him, how
- 1:48:43Speaker 16: he covered him last year and then and then what
- 1:48:47Speaker 16: he's been writing and giving him, uh different nicknames or
- 1:48:53Speaker 16: calling him, calling him different things.
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: So because I've heard, I've heard of coaches just ignore
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: so so so they just won't and let me let me,
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: let me get this straight. But to pull the past,
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: you gotta like actually.
- 1:49:12Speaker 4: So his being a sports reporter is him making personal
- 1:49:18Speaker 4: attacks on coach Prime.
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: Because that's what sports retorts. No, that's what sports reporters
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: don't names.
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: They come up with nicknames, they come up with colorful language,
- 1:49:29Speaker 4: They ask is this coach the right one for the program?
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: Should he be fired? Should we get him out of
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: here on his last leg? You tell me one.
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: Sports outlet that finds a chink in the armor of
- 1:49:42Speaker 4: a sports program and won't exploit it.
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: Coach Prime is being sensitive right now. You you look
- 1:49:49Speaker 1: at any sports publication.
- 1:49:53Speaker 6: I agree with Coach Prime. He said that, don't let
- 1:49:58Speaker 6: my confidence affect your insecurity. So I mean because the
- 1:50:04Speaker 6: man cure, I mean, which one of us is that
- 1:50:08Speaker 6: is a little kind of sensitive. But if a man,
- 1:50:13Speaker 6: but if a man is sitting up in there constantly
- 1:50:15Speaker 6: belitterally be writing you, writing saying things he shouldn't say,
- 1:50:19Speaker 6: we shan't ignore him.
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: Maybe he should ignore him or for what he there,
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: let's get quantifying.
- 1:50:26Speaker 16: He said, he's that Keealer has as with writing about him,
- 1:50:32Speaker 16: has called him a false prophet. It's called the deposition
- 1:50:35Speaker 16: Dion Planet Prime, Bruce Lee of b s the Dion
- 1:50:41Speaker 16: kool aid, And I've said the kool aid, and it
- 1:50:46Speaker 16: is the Bruce Lee and b s. He should that
- 1:50:51Speaker 16: he should get some kind of and so what what
- 1:50:54Speaker 16: about that is a personal attack.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: We'll be back talking about it more on the other
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: side of the break. More the Sports Jock Show, The
- 1:51:01Speaker 1: Shadow with.
- 1:51:01Speaker 18: Jeff sixteen men on the dead mass, Yet your hosted

- 1:51:14Speaker 7: More of The Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dambidia's coming
- 1:51:17Speaker 7: up next.
- 1:51:19Speaker 8: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:51:22Speaker 8: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:51:26Speaker 8: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:51:29Speaker 8: life insurance.
- 1:51:30Speaker 21: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:51:32Speaker 21: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 1:51:35Speaker 1: Life insurance, Well, it's the last thing on my mind.
- 1:51:37Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:51:40Speaker 21: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:51:42Speaker 21: bills piling up, I was worried how my family was
- 1:51:44Speaker 21: survived without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:51:46Speaker 21: the insurance informant.
- 1:51:47Speaker 8: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:51:50Speaker 8: security no matter what.
- 1:51:51Speaker 1: Stage of life you're in.
- 1:51:53Speaker 21: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:51:55Speaker 21: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:51:57Speaker 1: The answer is easy.
- 1:51:58Speaker 8: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, do you earn a
- 1:52:00Speaker 8: little or a lot? All you need is the insurance
- 1:52:03Speaker 8: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 1:52:06Speaker 8: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills.

- 1:52:19Speaker 2: When I first have my baby, i'd get comments all
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: the time about how happy I ms be. I remember
- 1:52:24Speaker 2: thinking I want to be happy? Why don't I feel
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: that way? It was hard to admit that, even to
- 1:52:29Speaker 2: my doctor, but I'm glad I did. She told me
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: it was postpartum depression and that is very treatable. These days,
- 1:52:35Speaker 2: things are feeling good and we're both happier about that. Right,
- 1:52:38Speaker 2: little man, I'll.
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: Take that as a yes.

- 1:52:51Speaker 1: And now back to the Sports jobre Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:58Speaker 27: It's time for the school when we put a spin
- 1:53:01Speaker 27: on life and sports and how they intermingled.
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne gandy. If day
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: has been the.
- 1:53:13Speaker 4: Same old thing on my plock, you either work, you know,
- 1:53:16Speaker 4: your slinging on my block, hand the hustles.
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: That's how we was raised on my block. And you
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: stayed on your hot until you made but on my
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: block to hang out. Welcome back to this spot Shock Show.
- 1:53:26Speaker 1: On this What Shock Wing Candy Cleveland Browns are expected
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: to leave running back Nick Chubb on the physically unable
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: to perform list, which means that he will be inactive
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: the first four games of the regular season. A lot
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: of pressure as we left talking about Deon Sanders, there's
- 1:53:45Speaker 1: a lot of pressure on Deshaun Watson this week this
- 1:53:48Speaker 1: season as well. We haven't spoken a lot about football.
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: You know, we'll get into it, but he has a
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: lot of pressure on where he can take this Browns team.
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: You know, I think they've given him that grace period
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: about to say he been taking them to the bank
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: all this time. You need to take them to some
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: sort of playoffs. They're gonna want to see some results
- 1:54:10Speaker 1: really of what he can do. And I think it's
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: a show improved year for him as well. But we've
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: kind of given you that you've been through a rough
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: time and deservancy. So well, I'm not I'm not criticizing
- 1:54:26Speaker 1: them having a little long because it was a big
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: distraction in his life to be going through that. But
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: I think this is one of those years people will
- 1:54:35Speaker 1: start judging are you a good quarterback or not because
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: you're getting a little long into two been some years
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: now since you've been in to be right, what year
- 1:54:45Speaker 1: seventies and eight? Yeah, it's gonna be some.
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: This year number one of the contract at least year
- 1:54:51Speaker 4: number two three of the contract.
- 1:54:55Speaker 6: So yeah, so you've got to be year three because
- 1:54:57Speaker 6: you know he said out a year and then last year.
- 1:55:02Speaker 6: I know, I know, I'm saying there's three. This is
- 1:55:05Speaker 6: your three of that with Cleveland.
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: Uh, Uncle Charlie online listener asked. He says, al has
- 1:55:13Speaker 4: Dion's mouth overloaded his You know what, now we all
- 1:55:18Speaker 4: know what that that that let your mouth write a check.
- 1:55:21Speaker 4: Your behind came cash. Is Dion guilty of insufficient funds
- 1:55:26Speaker 4: at this point?
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: He definitely is. I think that we didn't really address
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: that at Jackson State he was filding really a Division
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: one school team. No one really called him on that.
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: At the twenty two people he was putting out there
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: were nineteen of them. Was former Clemson players kind of thing,
- 1:55:57Speaker 1: and everybody kind of never said that, right, It was
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: like almost against the rules. Just man, you know, his
- 1:56:03Speaker 1: whole secondary was at Alabama. That's why they can't throw
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: no touchdowns because he's actually these other teams have like
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: one transferred guy to this man has a whole one.
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: That guy where you be sitting there, like, man, wasn't
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: that guyt Miami? That might be his brother Miami for
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: two years? He was two whole season even his kids
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: with Chadour was a D one prospect. He decided to
- 1:56:33Speaker 1: go play for his daddy. Shiloh was at D one
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: school at South Carolina. So these guys were not just
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: at D at the Jackson State because that's as far
- 1:56:46Speaker 1: as they got recruited. And then you brought in the
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: number one recruit in the country, but nobody. Now you
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: went to more of an even playing field.
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:56:56Speaker 1: So now this year that producer in his feelings are
- 1:57:00Speaker 1: not to me just a bowl game is really letting
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: you off. But I'll take it since you were four
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: and eight, but going six and six really is what
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: for what you talk? Yeah, without the talking.
- 1:57:19Speaker 4: Talking, with the talking, we expect you've overinflated.
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: The value because that's where he taught at least an
- 1:57:28Speaker 1: eight and four record, and also was left off.
- 1:57:32Speaker 6: The preseason All American team also that has came up
- 1:57:35Speaker 6: in a lot of conversation.
- 1:57:36Speaker 1: Excuse me, it was left off preseason All American. Okay,
- 1:57:40Speaker 1: who who did they put in a quarterback? It was
- 1:57:44Speaker 1: dealing Dylan Gabriel and it was it was I can't
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: remember the other quarterback. But we talk about that on Thursday, easily,
- 1:57:56Speaker 1: about that, And that's good motivation, Carson. Just from Georgia, Okay, okay,
- 1:58:03Speaker 1: two teams, well at least with Beck, I mean a
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: top five team, a champion, and that might be good
- 1:58:10Speaker 1: for Shador. The walls are closing in on me. Let
- 1:58:18Speaker 1: me show y'all what I can do. He needs to
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: get some of that showing prove, showing proof because he
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: has been in a very protective bubble bubble what of
- 1:58:31Speaker 1: being able to have things deflect, and his dad does
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: a great job of that, being able to spin the
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: things back to him, and good coaches do that where
- 1:58:42Speaker 1: they can kind of take a little weight off of
- 1:58:44Speaker 1: the Super Bowl even after the games.
- 1:58:46Speaker 4: If you've ever seen the press chase Chador down in
- 1:58:50Speaker 4: the middle of their trying to get a response from him.
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: Coach Prime will pop into the front and then he
- 1:58:56Speaker 1: takes over there. Jarry Jones does that as the cowboy owner. Right,
- 1:59:00Speaker 1: we're he'll go in and take the story. So after
- 1:59:05Speaker 1: his shenanigans, the reporters have totally forgotten to go Azek
- 1:59:10Speaker 1: or that anything anything, because I.
- 1:59:13Speaker 4: Got enough right now from Jerry just to go on
- 1:59:16Speaker 4: back to the office. Hey, honey'all doing how about them cowboys?
- 1:59:20Speaker 4: That lawsuit is ridiculous. I ain't gonna pay it, but
- 1:59:24Speaker 4: I tell you something, that boy should have slapped his mama.
- 1:59:26Speaker 4: How about them cowboys?
- 1:59:28Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:59:29Speaker 33: I can write two articles right now and everybody be
- 1:59:31Speaker 33: on some man. I gotta get to my computer. They
- 1:59:34Speaker 33: call this information in. Yeah, I don't even talk to
- 1:59:37Speaker 33: Zeke about nothing. So Dion and Colorado and hopefully this
- 1:59:43Speaker 33: will take the pressure. As I said, this kind of
- 1:59:46Speaker 33: coaching and this kind of style great for pros, but
- 1:59:50Speaker 33: at this level of college.
- 1:59:52Speaker 1: You don't want to set expectations. You want to let
- 1:59:54Speaker 1: your kids kind of evolve into the expectations.
- 2:00:01Speaker 4: Because do you think that the people who draft athletes
- 2:00:04Speaker 4: look at the the program and have those expectations and
- 2:00:08Speaker 4: if they don't meet them, then they're.
- 2:00:11Speaker 1: Setting He was setting expectations of Travis, Haunter, Heisher, Door
- 2:00:17Speaker 1: and players like Shy, those guys for everybody. But everybody's
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: talent set is not as talented as those players. So
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: you can't. You're in there asking your other corner to
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: cover man. You ain't get on him like Travis.
- 2:00:33Speaker 4: Dude, Hey, bro, ain't Travis Man, I don't even run No.
- 2:00:38Speaker 4: I told you that when you recruited me, man, I
- 2:00:40Speaker 4: ain't Travish.
- 2:00:41Speaker 6: And coach farre did and ed Red if you we
- 2:00:45Speaker 6: didn't mention anything out over to ed Reid to the staff.
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: So this year, okay, so got it out there. Who
- 2:00:51Speaker 1: was it?
- 2:00:53Speaker 4: He just told the truth and they called that snitche
- 2:00:57Speaker 4: I'm saying, if you was you was, you was part
- 2:00:59Speaker 4: of the right you want defendant and then you.
- 2:01:02Speaker 1: Tell the truth, they call that snitching. I thought the
- 2:01:06Speaker 1: definition of snitching is telling telling the truth on other people. No,
- 2:01:12Speaker 1: when you're speaking behind somebody, snitching.
- 2:01:15Speaker 4: Tell And And that's why it's done so much because
- 2:01:18Speaker 4: they try to change the definition.
- 2:01:20Speaker 1: Understand, there does no good the snitch if it's not
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: the truth, right, because that means the whole stitching is
- 2:01:27Speaker 1: to tell the you it ain't never mind Will. That's
- 2:01:32Speaker 1: a whole enough because he about to tell on himself.
- 2:01:34Speaker 1: You know what snitching is.
- 2:01:35Speaker 4: Trust some folks sitting in jail listening right now, like
- 2:01:39Speaker 4: I'm telling man producer and we are.
- 2:01:44Speaker 27: The truth is, he will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:01:48Speaker 27: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports June
- 2:01:51Speaker 27: Show with.
- 2:01:52Speaker 1: Dwayne Candy when inside of the Ocean to give to
- 2:02:16Speaker 1: sport Shop testa minute to Vin. We'd like to thank
- 2:02:18Speaker 1: you for tuning in to today's show. Big Kenny commands
- 2:02:22Speaker 1: you greggon the reoccurring role of the bad Producer has
- 2:02:28Speaker 1: been actually played by the Bad Producer today, So good
- 2:02:31Speaker 1: to have him back finally from New Orleans and hanging
- 2:02:36Speaker 1: out with the KKJ or whatever they call it. So
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: they kind of like the clan, but they've changed.
- 2:02:42Speaker 4: The letter right in it so where all domination is
- 2:02:46Speaker 4: still the plan that's still to go.
- 2:02:49Speaker 1: We're a domination. If you're visited of today's show, you
- 2:02:51Speaker 1: can go to Amazon podcast Apple podcasts, iHeartRadio, Deezer, Spotify
- 2:02:58Speaker 1: are audible at the the broadcast commanding Gregg's promises to
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: upload the show, and we laughed about it earlier, and
- 2:03:09Speaker 1: that's why I kind of left it, because it was
- 2:03:11Speaker 1: my ocean. I found it so hilarious that in showing
- 2:03:17Speaker 1: the greatness of Aaron Judge hitting his fifty and fifty
- 2:03:21Speaker 1: first homer for the Yankees, that the statistician showed you
- 2:03:27Speaker 1: that it's only been another three or four guys ever
- 2:03:31Speaker 1: do what Aaron Judd has done. But three of those
- 2:03:36Speaker 1: guys aren't even in the Hall of Fame. Comanci Greg
- 2:03:41Speaker 1: won't out a man say they were doing some cream
- 2:03:45Speaker 1: or some kind of appeal, but they, well, what we
- 2:03:50Speaker 1: all do appeal. So names like Sam is Social, Mark McGuire,
- 2:03:54Speaker 1: Barry von Stiele aren't in the Hall of Fame, but
- 2:04:00Speaker 1: you still show their stats. When I think about it,
- 2:04:05Speaker 1: they can't make the Hall. You might as well take
- 2:04:07Speaker 1: my stat down talking about why are you mentioning me?
- 2:04:12Speaker 1: You say I can't come to your part, so while
- 2:04:15Speaker 1: you're playing behind it to be hypocrite. Their hypocrites. They
- 2:04:23Speaker 1: made tons of money off of those home runs and
- 2:04:26Speaker 1: then said, hey, guys, don't worry about it. Coopertown is
- 2:04:29Speaker 1: not for you. And I just think Major League baseball
- 2:04:34Speaker 1: once again shows the hypocrisy of sports and people who
- 2:04:39Speaker 1: get to weigh in on greatness that never stood on
- 2:04:45Speaker 1: a baseball dime. And for that fucked up clank, Hope,
- 2:05:00Speaker 1: before I find my maker like Pat McAfee, somebody will
- 2:05:08Speaker 1: explain how the man who has the most home runs
- 2:05:10Speaker 1: in baseball history it's not in the Hall of Fame.
- 2:05:13Speaker 1: I just kind of don't get that. For Big Kenny,
- 2:05:18Speaker 1: the Babbage is a commanding Greg and the sports shop
- 2:05:21Speaker 1: we'll see you later in the week. Peace.
