Medicare just launched the GLP-1 Bridge program, slashing the cost of three top weight-loss drugs—Wegovy, Zepbound, and Foundayo—to just $50 a month starting July 1. This is the first time Medicare covers these meds purely for weight loss, not just for diabetes or other conditions. Up to 4 million Medicare recipients may qualify if they have Part D coverage and meet BMI or health criteria. You won’t get it through your usual drug plan—your doctor must submit a request to a central processor.
