- 0:49Speaker 1: couple of days. How this is going to conclude. I
- 0:55Speaker 1: gotta say, Meghan, I'm kind of sad that the season
- 1:00Speaker 1: is coming to an end.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I've truly enjoyed it. This is such a good show.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yeah, And I don't know how to impress upon people
- 1:08Speaker 3: who aren't Hallmark Channel watchers.
- 1:10Speaker 2: That you don't need to be.
- 1:11Speaker 3: You do not have to enjoy the Hallmark Channel to
- 1:14Speaker 3: enjoy this show. It's so well done. Which is not
- 1:18Speaker 3: to say like Hallmark doesn't produce quality content. I'm just
- 1:21Speaker 3: saying I think some people have like a mental blockader.
- 1:23Speaker 3: I don't watch the Hallmark channel, right, that's not this.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I know. It's so good. It also gives me such
- 1:28Speaker 2: high hopes for Ride. I hope.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I'm afraid that Ride's gonna fall below.
- 1:34Speaker 2: My ex because the bar has so high.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, I'm a little I'm sad that it's almost over.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I really was watching this episode.
- 1:42Speaker 1: On the edge of my seat me too, Like I
- 1:44Speaker 1: could just feel like the like tension building. Oh my god,
- 1:49Speaker 1: where is this gonna go?
- 1:50Speaker 3: They did a really nice job with that. Hey, I
- 1:52Speaker 3: hear you have some housekeeping to discuss, you know.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I just want to talk about our the Way Home
- 1:57Speaker 1: merch inspired you're wearing it right now.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Inspired?
- 1:59Speaker 1: Yeah, inspired our cute Port Haven New Brunswick sweatshirt. But
- 2:03Speaker 1: now I realized this is nineteen ninety nine on it,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and now we're in the two thousands. I know.
- 2:08Speaker 2: But whatever, I swear it all be right.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Oh where it all began in the past.
- 2:14Speaker 3: If somebody wants to a custom portkayo the New Brunswick
- 2:16Speaker 3: without the nineteen ninety nine on it, let us know.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I think it's I think it's cute. It's such a
- 2:21Speaker 2: cute sweatshirt. I love it.
- 2:23Speaker 3: It's all we wear anymore sweatshirts and jeans, swetchers and
- 2:25Speaker 3: jeans because it only rains here.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I will leave a link to buy your own in
- 2:31Speaker 1: our show notes.
- 2:32Speaker 2: There's also stickers take Me Back.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah, shout out listener Michelle.
- 2:36Speaker 2: We just stickers.
- 2:37Speaker 3: She did love it because we've been talking about this
- 2:40Speaker 3: every episode. The title of this episode is The Day
- 2:43Speaker 3: the Music Died, which is a song released by Don
- 2:45Speaker 3: McLean in nineteen eighteen seventy one, which became a hit
- 2:48Speaker 3: in nineteen seventy two.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and I had a real resurgence. I remember being
- 2:53Speaker 1: in middle school and not having like being a popular
- 2:55Speaker 1: song again. And I think it had to do with
- 2:58Speaker 1: that Tom Cruise movie where he was like a went
- 3:02Speaker 1: off to war, was a veteran. I want to call
- 3:05Speaker 1: it Independence Day, but I know that's not it. People
- 3:07Speaker 1: are screaming at us right.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Now, email us myg gonna want to at gmail dot
- 3:11Speaker 3: com and them us on Instagram. I did see Garth
- 3:15Speaker 3: Brooks in concert in the nineties and he closed out
- 3:18Speaker 3: his concert ooh with this song interesting.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Okay, are you ready?
- 3:24Speaker 1: I am?
- 3:25Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 3:27Speaker 1: We start off in the year two thousand and they
- 3:29Speaker 1: Brady and Cat are at the point and they're talking
- 3:32Speaker 1: and she's telling them how bad it is at home.
- 3:35Speaker 1: He tells her he wants her to join him in
- 3:40Speaker 1: the States after high school graduation, and in the background
- 3:44Speaker 1: we see a police car zoom by, sirens blaring. Cat
- 3:49Speaker 1: and Brady. They then arrived home and they see the
- 3:52Speaker 1: police there and got things. Jacob must be found mm hmmm. However,
- 3:57Speaker 1: the policewoman tells Cat that there was a t that
- 4:00Speaker 1: ran off the road and the driver didn't survive. We
- 4:03Speaker 1: see Dell in the background crying and Cat realizes it
- 4:07Speaker 1: was Coulton. Is it so weird that the police officer
- 4:10Speaker 1: gives that information to Cat with a child?
- 4:13Speaker 2: Yes, totally? What is here? She's like, oh, by the way, there.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Was a truck that I ran off their own and
- 4:20Speaker 1: I was like, is she gonna say like it's your
- 4:22Speaker 1: dad or like did they know this woman personally? Yes?
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it was weird.
- 4:28Speaker 3: In present day, Cat comes downstairs and tells Alice she's
- 4:32Speaker 3: going to take a week and away. She's going to
- 4:33Speaker 3: a spa, and Alice has given her a look and
- 4:36Speaker 3: Cat assumes that Alice thinks she's selfish, but Alice is
- 4:39Speaker 3: honestly just God Cat's gonna GTFO because Cat and Dell
- 4:43Speaker 3: things are tense in the house and everybody needs a break.
- 4:46Speaker 2: In comes Dell, and Dell.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Catherine's her yes, and every time she catherines her, my
- 4:51Speaker 3: hackles go up, but she sends her off on her
- 4:54Speaker 3: me time. And I can't help but think that that
- 4:56Speaker 3: me time is a bit of a dig, Like you know,
- 5:00Speaker 3: you kids and your self care.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Okay, but let me ask you here because I was
- 5:04Speaker 1: trying to remember what happened at the end of last
- 5:06Speaker 1: week's episode that Dell and Cat are grouchy at each other,
- 5:11Speaker 1: because well, is it just the Cat pushing that Colton
- 5:17Speaker 1: wasn't with another woman?
- 5:21Speaker 3: That yes, and Dell was like, you're wrong, there's more
- 5:24Speaker 3: to it. And I want to say that in the
- 5:26Speaker 3: opening scene, when I see Delle crying, I thought I
- 5:30Speaker 3: felt bad for Dell in this moment. We get more
- 5:32Speaker 3: information at the end of this episode, but I thought
- 5:34Speaker 3: it must be easier for her to stay mad at
- 5:37Speaker 3: Colton than to think about him dying while you were
- 5:40Speaker 3: still fighting, while you had unresolved issues, And so I
- 5:42Speaker 3: think me projecting perhaps Dell is like, don't take away
- 5:47Speaker 3: my righteous anger like I have lived all of this time.
- 5:50Speaker 2: It is easier to be angry than to be sad.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm telling you, I feel like she projects
- 5:58Speaker 1: that onto like her relationship with a lot And now
- 6:01Speaker 1: I could see how young Cat would think that her
- 6:05Speaker 1: mom was like blamed her for Jacob's disappearance. I don't know.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Their relationship is so cantankerous.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Delle says, you know, this will be a good break
- 6:16Speaker 3: and Kat says, yeah, it'll give us some clarity. And
- 6:18Speaker 3: they're just like picking at each other. And Kat knocks
- 6:21Speaker 3: on Elliot's store, so she's not going to a spa
- 6:23Speaker 3: and his little well high is the cutest thing I've
- 6:26Speaker 3: ever heard. The kiss she invites herself to stay for
- 6:29Speaker 3: the weekend, and I wondered, did she drive here? Did
- 6:31Speaker 3: she walk here? Are they not like going to see
- 6:33Speaker 3: her car? And Ellie says, oh, we're doing this and
- 6:37Speaker 3: Kat says yes with a little time travel, and poor
- 6:40Speaker 3: Elliott She's like.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Oh great, He's like I thought we were going to
- 6:44Speaker 1: stay in bed all weekend. Walk you know.
- 6:47Speaker 2: She's like, oh, I actually want to run off to Yesteryear. Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 1: We get the opening title and then followed Kat and
- 6:54Speaker 1: Elliott are looking through the dossier.
- 6:56Speaker 2: She asks about.
- 6:57Speaker 1: The crying woman at the funeral, which dell has has
- 7:00Speaker 1: told her time and time again, and Elliott doesn't recall.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Kat says she's got to go back, and she's gonna
- 7:06Speaker 3: keep going back until she figures it out. So back
- 7:09Speaker 3: in the year two thousand, Cat is once again spying
- 7:11Speaker 3: on the family. She is in her invisibility cloak, no
- 7:13Speaker 3: one can see her. Dylan Cat are loading up the
- 7:16Speaker 3: truck to go to the train station, and Colton is
- 7:18Speaker 3: saying how much he misses his daughter, and Dellan fites
- 7:21Speaker 3: him to ride in the truck, but he says he
- 7:23Speaker 3: has too much to do, and he kind of calls,
- 7:26Speaker 3: I miss you, But they don't. They don't hear that
- 7:29Speaker 3: they have closed the truck doors. And my heart breaks
- 7:33Speaker 3: a little bit for Colton at this moment, but he
- 7:34Speaker 3: soon is they're gone, runs to grab his keys and
- 7:38Speaker 3: in hops Cat into the bed of the truck so
- 7:40Speaker 3: she can follow him. This is really unsafe. Cat, don't
- 7:43Speaker 3: ride in the bed of a truck. Yeah, aren't you
- 7:45Speaker 3: worried about dying in the wrong timeline?
- 7:49Speaker 1: I well, she knows that her father dies in a car.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I know, But whatever these are again, these are these
- 7:58Speaker 1: things that you just have to Like, I'm just gonna
- 8:00Speaker 1: put that aside. I'm just gonna continue to enjoy the
- 8:03Speaker 1: show without those details. Back in present day, Elliott is
- 8:06Speaker 1: at the Point and he's recalling a memory of him
- 8:08Speaker 1: and Kat also at the Point, as teenagers, and they're
- 8:12Speaker 1: talking about Colton's accident and what everybody is saying about it.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Are they eluding here that it was a self inflicted accident?
- 8:21Speaker 2: That's what people are saying. Okay.
- 8:23Speaker 1: She tells him that she is going to be leaving
- 8:26Speaker 1: and going to the University of Minnesota and that she's
- 8:29Speaker 1: just got to get away from Point point Haven, Point Haven,
- 8:33Speaker 1: Point Haven.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Did you look at my sweatshirt to remember what the
- 8:37Speaker 3: tune is called?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Poor Haven? Like, I'm taking notes as I'm watching this show.
- 8:42Speaker 1: She has to get away from Port Haven and all
- 8:44Speaker 1: of the questions about Colton's death.
- 8:47Speaker 3: I just want to say that this Elliot storyline that
- 8:49Speaker 3: develops throughout the show.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Is so well done.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I mean it is like masterful, the way they edit
- 8:54Speaker 3: in his flashbacks and the work he's doing.
- 8:57Speaker 2: A lot of the show.
- 8:58Speaker 3: We get through exposition, like they're so much dialogue.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and there's no talking about this until the very end.
- 9:05Speaker 2: It's good.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Alice interrupts his memory by plopping down at the table,
- 9:08Speaker 3: and I'm kind of like, as Elliot her teacher, I'm like,
- 9:11Speaker 3: maybe you shouldn't sit here.
- 9:12Speaker 2: At this table with me. That's weird, like with your teacher. Yeah.
- 9:15Speaker 3: She talks about some lab report that they've been doing
- 9:17Speaker 3: and mentions that Dell's her guardian for the weekend, and
- 9:20Speaker 3: Ellie's like, oh, where's your mom. Alice says, you know,
- 9:24Speaker 3: it's fine, they need a little less drama. But they
- 9:27Speaker 3: have a conversation about how she's hesitant to go back
- 9:30Speaker 3: because it's gonna be rough in the past, and they
- 9:33Speaker 3: go back and forth a little bit because Alice says
- 9:35Speaker 3: she just wants to remember the good and Elliott says
- 9:37Speaker 3: that perhaps that's wise, but maybe you need a proper goodbye.
- 9:41Speaker 3: And he doesn't tell her what to do, but he
- 9:44Speaker 3: says he doesn't want you to regret any of your choices.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Which is so weird because this is fully in contrast
- 9:50Speaker 1: to what he's telling Cat. He's telling Kat don't go back, but.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Their motivation is different, Like Cat wants to go back
- 9:59Speaker 3: to change the past. He's suggesting maybe Alice needs some
- 10:02Speaker 3: closure because he knows. At some point, Alice stops time
- 10:05Speaker 3: tracking fair Point.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Okay, Spencer and Chloe walk in to the point. Spencer
- 10:10Speaker 1: and Chloe don't walk in.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Zoe, who the hell Looey she lives in Point Haven?
- 10:17Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. Okay, Spencer and Zoe lost funny. I
- 10:21Speaker 1: don't know, thank you slow not firing, so wonders this morning.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Okay, Spencer and Zoe walk in.
- 10:33Speaker 1: They share good news that the new owner of the
- 10:36Speaker 1: Roxy has hired Spencer to cater the opening, and then
- 10:40Speaker 1: the two walk off to go plan and leave Alice
- 10:42Speaker 1: sitting there. And I think Alice is feeling a little
- 10:45Speaker 1: bit of fomo.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you know, I'm.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Not being really in the friendship circle.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Can I talk to you about this scene really quickly?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 10:56Speaker 3: So we've talked a lot about like the very beginning
- 10:59Speaker 3: they present and that it like Spencer and z oever together,
- 11:01Speaker 3: and then there was this like weird in between Zoe
- 11:03Speaker 3: wasn't there?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Are they together?
- 11:05Speaker 3: I feel like maybe the writers forgot they were together
- 11:08Speaker 3: for several episodes and now they're going hard on that
- 11:11Speaker 3: this is my girlfriend because she likes she's like, babe,
- 11:13Speaker 3: tell them about the gay They lean real hard into
- 11:15Speaker 3: their couple dumb anyway, Can I also interject here about
- 11:20Speaker 3: the new owners of the Roxy.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah, a few days ago, I had this, like.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Great theory.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I was like, it's Jacob. Jacob fell into the pond.
- 11:29Speaker 1: He's in the future. He's gonna be the new owner
- 11:31Speaker 1: of the Roxy. But Jacob would be a child in
- 11:33Speaker 1: the future, Like.
- 11:34Speaker 3: How does he get id Like he's from I know,
- 11:37Speaker 3: so it's not him.
- 11:38Speaker 1: And your response was like oooh what I didn't like.
- 11:42Speaker 2: All theories are valid. I didn't want to crap on
- 11:45Speaker 2: your theory.
- 11:46Speaker 1: But he would be a child present day, right, Okay,
- 11:48Speaker 1: so I don't know how okay, all right, all right.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Back in the year two thousand, Colton's truck pulls up
- 11:53Speaker 3: in front of a house. Cat pops out of the
- 11:55Speaker 3: bed of the truck and a woman guides Colton into
- 11:58Speaker 3: the house, and Cat makes the wild decision to approach
- 12:02Speaker 3: the front door of the.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Just poking around. She just has to see what's going
- 12:05Speaker 1: on in harem, but look through in the window because
- 12:07Speaker 1: nobody can see me.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Cale and opens the door and says, oh, are you
- 12:11Speaker 2: joining us? And we cut to commercial.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yes, we come back and kat And joins him in
- 12:15Speaker 1: the house and Colt says, haven't we met? You're the
- 12:18Speaker 1: lady that was in my yard. You know.
- 12:20Speaker 2: When he said haven't we met?
- 12:21Speaker 3: I thought, oh, does he recognize his daughter?
- 12:24Speaker 1: But then yes, yeah, and we find out it's a
- 12:26Speaker 1: grief support group and kat is asked to introduce herself,
- 12:29Speaker 1: so she does, and she says her name is Rose.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Did you think there's no significance there or does.
- 12:35Speaker 1: She just I've wondered, I wondered, but I don't think so. Yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 1: but probably I mean, is there a character named Rose
- 12:43Speaker 1: and Alice in Wonderland? No, there's not.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Okay, so my name is the Cheshire Cat.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Well, when she said Rose, I was like, is she
- 12:51Speaker 3: gonna be like my boyfriend Jack Drown. I really thought
- 12:54Speaker 3: for a moment, Oh my god, that would be so funny.
- 12:58Speaker 1: When did that movie come out ninety nine? I think?
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Anyway. In the present day, Dell and Alice are walking
- 13:06Speaker 3: and Dale apologizes for taking Alice away from her friends,
- 13:10Speaker 3: but Alice is real wise here. She says, those aren't
- 13:12Speaker 3: my friends, not because I don't want them to be,
- 13:14Speaker 3: because I haven't given them a chance. And she you know,
- 13:18Speaker 3: alludes to the fact that she hasn't really been mentally
- 13:21Speaker 3: present here in Port Haven, but she hasn't really been
- 13:23Speaker 3: visibly present here either, and they suggest that maybe they're.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Both stuck in the past.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You know. Dell drops that quite a bit in this episode,
- 13:30Speaker 1: like it's time for us to move on. We've been
- 13:33Speaker 1: stuck in the past, right. But then also like Delle
- 13:39Speaker 1: doesn't push harder on, like, well, I thought you've been
- 13:42Speaker 1: hanging out with these people, Like what's where have you been?
- 13:45Speaker 1: What are you doing? Why are you hanging on to
- 13:48Speaker 1: the past, what's happening?
- 13:50Speaker 2: There's no questions.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Maybe Delle just assumes she's like more focused on life
- 13:54Speaker 3: back home, like she's committed to Port Haven.
- 13:57Speaker 2: They haven't been there all that long, I know, five
- 14:00Speaker 2: days at this point.
- 14:01Speaker 1: We don't know, no, I guess it's been a couple
- 14:03Speaker 1: of seasons.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Has it a few months? Okay?
- 14:06Speaker 3: Whatever, it's not quite winter yet because the pond isn't
- 14:09Speaker 3: frozen over.
- 14:10Speaker 2: That's right.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Back in two thousand, we're at the grief group, that's
- 14:14Speaker 1: what I call it, the grief group, and Colton's sharing
- 14:17Speaker 1: that the investigation has been called off for the you know,
- 14:20Speaker 1: looking for Jacob and the PI he hired quit and
- 14:23Speaker 1: he shares that everyone's just giving up and he doesn't
- 14:25Speaker 1: know if he can quit looking for him. And he
- 14:27Speaker 1: talks about how Dell is his rock and he's lost
- 14:31Speaker 1: and he doesn't know how to be a husband or
- 14:32Speaker 1: a dad anymore.
- 14:33Speaker 3: And I just was like, wah, Yeah, Colton really tugged
- 14:38Speaker 3: at my heart strength.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Really, and it breaks me to know that he cannot
- 14:43Speaker 1: have this conversation with his wife. Wow.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Wow.
- 14:48Speaker 3: In present day, Dell takes Cat to the pond and
- 14:53Speaker 3: she's like, I know, it's nothing, just a sinkhole, but
- 14:55Speaker 3: she says the pond is always the first to give
- 14:58Speaker 3: her clues when seasons change, and Alice is silently panicking
- 15:01Speaker 3: behind her and says, does the pond freeze over completely?
- 15:05Speaker 3: Because the pond is her window to the past. And again,
- 15:08Speaker 3: what does Dell know, if anything? Or is this just
- 15:11Speaker 3: a happy coincidence that this was Dell's message to her.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Let's talk about change and time marching forward.
- 15:19Speaker 1: She even says like the pond is its own little world. Yeah,
- 15:23Speaker 1: I mean, I feel like Dell has to know more,
- 15:26Speaker 1: But again, who knows?
- 15:28Speaker 2: At this point?
- 15:29Speaker 1: Who freaking knows? We're again at the support group and
- 15:34Speaker 1: Kat and Colton and the leader of the group are
- 15:37Speaker 1: talking and we see the leader of the group give
- 15:40Speaker 1: Kat like a business card, which we'll come into play
- 15:45Speaker 1: a little bit later on. Colton offers to take her
- 15:48Speaker 1: back to Port Haven and Kat can't help. Oh, so
- 15:52Speaker 1: they're in the truck driving back, and Cat can't help
- 15:55Speaker 1: notice all of Colton's details, his face, his hands, his sunglasses.
- 15:58Speaker 1: That must be wild to be sitting there with your
- 16:00Speaker 1: dad who died. I mean, I'm surprised she wasn't like
- 16:07Speaker 1: sniffing the air. You guys, if you listen to this
- 16:13Speaker 1: episode or you know regularly, you know her penchant for
- 16:17Speaker 1: sniffing things. He asks then where he can like drop
- 16:21Speaker 1: her off specifically, and like she's just being vague, and
- 16:24Speaker 1: she says like, oh, I'm just trying to keep like
- 16:26Speaker 1: this support group of secrets, so you can just drop
- 16:28Speaker 1: me here on the side of the road, you know,
- 16:31Speaker 1: And he does, and then of course, like he lets
- 16:33Speaker 1: her out where he is inevitably going to crash and die.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 3: In present day, Kat is telling Elliott what happened, and
- 16:41Speaker 3: levelheaded Elliott can't believe that she just sat in on
- 16:44Speaker 3: their therapy group. Just right in front of Colton. Kat
- 16:47Speaker 3: insists he didn't recognize her and that it was helpful
- 16:50Speaker 3: to hear how he really felt, and Elliott tells her
- 16:54Speaker 3: this is a dangerous game, but Kat cannot let go.
- 16:58Speaker 2: She needs more answers.
- 16:59Speaker 3: She doesn't believe that Colton's accident was intentional, and Elliott
- 17:04Speaker 3: tells her Alice is ready to say goodbye to the past,
- 17:06Speaker 3: to remember the good and not the bad, and.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Doesn't say maybe you should too.
- 17:10Speaker 1: You know, I feel very like I would be Cat
- 17:13Speaker 1: in this situation, Like I would need to know everything.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Mm hmm. You know.
- 17:18Speaker 3: It's like if you have a portal to your past
- 17:21Speaker 3: and you know that your parent is about to die,
- 17:24Speaker 3: of course you're going to do everything you can. I
- 17:26Speaker 3: fully understand her motivation.
- 17:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I would, Yeah, absolutely, But I.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Also fully understand Elliott's frustration.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Sure, but what the hell does Elliot know for sure
- 17:37Speaker 1: about time travel and changing the future. He keeps saying,
- 17:41Speaker 1: like what has happened in the past is going to happen, Like,
- 17:44Speaker 1: how does he know that for sure? Yeah?
- 17:45Speaker 3: Spoiler alert, He's right, I know, but.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I would need to know for certain to ye, I don't.
- 17:54Speaker 3: I think I would too.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Back in two.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Thousand, Alice shows up at the Landry House wet dellan
- 17:58Speaker 1: Colton asked why she doesn't have a coach.
- 18:00Speaker 2: You know it's cold.
- 18:02Speaker 1: We are in wintertime there. They tell her Cat isn't there,
- 18:06Speaker 1: but they invite her to go up to her bedroom
- 18:07Speaker 1: to get a towel from Cat's room. So Alice goes
- 18:10Speaker 1: up to Cat's room. She's like poking around. She looks
- 18:13Speaker 1: through the Alice in Wonderland book, underlining a passage we've
- 18:16Speaker 1: seen before. She comes downstairs and talks with Colton. She
- 18:22Speaker 1: asks if they can play the song that Colton taught her,
- 18:25Speaker 1: and he tells her that he hasn't played in a while,
- 18:28Speaker 1: but says yes.
- 18:29Speaker 3: They sing together and it's lovely and touching.
- 18:31Speaker 2: In another bit of a.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Gut punch in this episode, because this song he wrote
- 18:36Speaker 3: for Dell, and Dell comes downstairs to see them singing
- 18:40Speaker 3: and they have a sweet moment of eye contact and
- 18:42Speaker 3: he says those words were written in a better time,
- 18:44Speaker 3: but they still hold the truth. And then Colton tells
- 18:48Speaker 3: Alice that she's talented and to keep it up. And
- 18:50Speaker 3: this is her grandfather who she never got to meet,
- 18:53Speaker 3: and Alice cries and says goodbye to Colton and.
- 18:57Speaker 1: That was a rough scene, right, very yeah, and runs
- 19:01Speaker 1: off weeping goodbye, cold Peace Dell and present day Dell
- 19:10Speaker 1: is doing farm stuff. I'm not even quite sure what
- 19:13Speaker 1: she's doing. She's like doing something like preparing for winter.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I don't know what Alice. Alice arrives from the year
- 19:21Speaker 1: two thousand and she's wet and sobbing, and Delle's reaction
- 19:25Speaker 1: like she's like, what's wrong, and Alice collapses into her
- 19:28Speaker 1: arms and telling her that she's still glad that she's here. Yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 1: oh yeah.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Dell as a grandmother redeems her in my eyes.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I agree, But then it's like, it's so crazy to
- 19:45Speaker 1: me that, like I'm not saying that Dell's not a
- 19:47Speaker 1: good mother to Cat, but their relationship is so give
- 19:52Speaker 1: me a word, contentious that like she is such a
- 19:57Speaker 1: one eighty to Alice. Yeah, you know, there's so much
- 20:01Speaker 1: baggage with Dell that, I mean, with Dell and Cat,
- 20:04Speaker 1: and Delle just can't like let that go.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Well neither can Cat, to be quite honest.
- 20:08Speaker 3: In the present day, Elliot's picking up dinner for two
- 20:10Speaker 3: to go and Monica says it's about time, and while
- 20:12Speaker 3: he's waiting, he has another memory of their graduation day.
- 20:16Speaker 3: It's Nick, Monica, Cat and Elliott are toasting at the
- 20:19Speaker 3: Point and Nick and Kat both wish Alice was there,
- 20:22Speaker 3: and Cat can't believe she's just disappeared and she hasn't
- 20:25Speaker 3: come back. And we learned that Kat is leaving this weekend.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Dell isn't speaking to her, and she says, I need
- 20:32Speaker 3: you to be there to Elliott when I leave, and
- 20:37Speaker 3: Elliott has a moment and he takes off out of
- 20:40Speaker 3: the Point to the Herald, where poor Byron says, you
- 20:42Speaker 3: can look around, but be quick because I'm off to
- 20:45Speaker 3: Marrakesh because no one's gonna miss me here.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Such a weird Why do you think they're doing this?
- 20:52Speaker 3: What we find out at the end of the episode.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I wonder if we're not done with Byron, perhaps what
- 20:58Speaker 3: do we find out at the end of the episode.
- 21:00Speaker 2: We'll tall okay, bring it back, okay.
- 21:02Speaker 1: But I've seen some theories that people think Jacob is Byron,
- 21:05Speaker 1: but like that doesn't work out.
- 21:08Speaker 3: No no, no, no no no no no no no no no.
- 21:10Speaker 1: But it seems to me like you have Byron who's
- 21:13Speaker 1: been in like almost every episode from the beginning.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I do not believe we're done with it. Oh, I
- 21:18Speaker 2: hope not.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I was like, are they just writing this dude out
- 21:20Speaker 1: of the show now?
- 21:21Speaker 2: Like I can't.
- 21:22Speaker 1: I can't because I was like, is Kat gonna take
- 21:24Speaker 1: over the Herald?
- 21:26Speaker 2: Oh?
- 21:26Speaker 3: Hey, that's not that's an interesting idea. I refuse to
- 21:31Speaker 3: believe two things, one that Jacob has gone and two
- 21:34Speaker 3: that Byron is leaving the show. But I do think
- 21:38Speaker 3: it would be a little bit of a disservice to
- 21:39Speaker 3: be like, I'm just gonna sit here and run this
- 21:41Speaker 3: newspaper even though nobody wants.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Me here, right. I think I like that He's like,
- 21:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna do something with my life. You should too, okay,
- 21:49Speaker 2: which is the unspoken part.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Yeah. The next scene, we see Alison Dell and they're
- 21:53Speaker 1: talking and Alice explains why she understands how Dell has
- 21:56Speaker 1: shoved everything, like literally to the basement, I know, because
- 22:02Speaker 1: things are just too hard to live with, and Delle
- 22:04Speaker 1: tells her it's best we start living today, and she
- 22:07Speaker 1: thinks Alice for being a wonderful person, like tells her
- 22:11Speaker 1: she loves her, and Alice says the same and then
- 22:14Speaker 1: calls Dell Grandma, and Delle loves it and she's waited
- 22:17Speaker 1: so long to hear that.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's sweet.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Elliott arrives back home and we don't know at this
- 22:25Speaker 3: point what he was looking for at the Herald. He's
- 22:28Speaker 3: got some things with him, but Kat is despondent because
- 22:30Speaker 3: the pond would not let her go back. He says
- 22:33Speaker 3: that's happened before to Alice, and they talk about He says,
- 22:36Speaker 3: I promise we'll find answers some other way, and Kat
- 22:42Speaker 3: still suck in the past, says, you know, I took
- 22:45Speaker 3: your hand the night my dad died. You and Brady
- 22:47Speaker 3: were both there, and I took your hand because you
- 22:49Speaker 3: were the one I needed. And she's kind of kicking
- 22:52Speaker 3: herself or maybe not seeing Elliott then the way she
- 22:55Speaker 3: sees him now.
- 22:56Speaker 1: In two thousand, Kat is at the Landry farm again
- 22:59Speaker 1: and she sees are we is this adult cat.
- 23:03Speaker 2: She sees Colton and.
- 23:05Speaker 1: He says, oh, I thought I wouldn't see you again,
- 23:07Speaker 1: and she tells him that she should share his group
- 23:12Speaker 1: grief sessions with the family, and they get in the
- 23:15Speaker 1: car or they get in the truck to go to
- 23:17Speaker 1: their session that night at therapy.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Colton tell the story about a dream he has about
- 23:22Speaker 3: Jacob that's kind of rough to hear, and basically that
- 23:26Speaker 3: he's like trying to get to him, but he's drowning
- 23:28Speaker 3: in the dream and he wishes he could be waking
- 23:31Speaker 3: up with his wife. He's still sleeping in the basement,
- 23:33Speaker 3: and we get more inside. He talks about how he
- 23:37Speaker 3: knows his daughter feels abandoned and blamed, but she's everything
- 23:41Speaker 3: he wishes he could be, and he tells the group
- 23:43Speaker 3: he's going to tell Dell and Cat about the group,
- 23:46Speaker 3: and he says, maybe that's the way back home, and.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Then says he would tell Jacob everything if he had
- 23:52Speaker 1: five four minutes with him. So as a daughter sitting there,
- 23:58Speaker 1: wouldn't you just be a mess hearing like your dad
- 24:02Speaker 1: say that stuff about you? Yeah? Right, Yeah, She has
- 24:06Speaker 1: a couple of little tears, but no, I would be
- 24:09Speaker 1: like on the floor, feel position full puddle. Yeah. One.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Colton and Kat are driving back in a truck and
- 24:17Speaker 1: she tells him that you know a story that she
- 24:19Speaker 1: lost her dad in an accident and doesn't know exactly
- 24:21Speaker 1: what happened and how the death had ruined their family,
- 24:26Speaker 1: and they talk about how grief will make them stronger,
- 24:30Speaker 1: and he tells her the future is stronger than their past.
- 24:34Speaker 2: It's their legacy.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Yeah, and Kat says that her grief led her to
- 24:38Speaker 3: her greatest gift. Alice, this seems very distracting to me
- 24:42Speaker 3: because I really just wanted them to stop making eye
- 24:44Speaker 3: contact while they were triving.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. I was like, this is it, this
- 24:47Speaker 2: is when it's gonna happen.
- 24:48Speaker 1: He just kept turning and looking at her, and his
- 24:51Speaker 1: eyes were not on the road. Oh.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Look forward.
- 24:54Speaker 3: After the commercial, Alice sees her mom running back from
- 25:01Speaker 3: the pond. It was a little unclear, and she's kind
- 25:03Speaker 3: of shaking her head, and she's annoyed that either her
- 25:06Speaker 3: mom is going back to the past and be that
- 25:07Speaker 3: her mom is not at us boss right, he's still
- 25:09Speaker 3: in down and at Elliott's. Cat is thrilled to have
- 25:12Speaker 3: had that moment with Colton. Her emotion is purely driven
- 25:16Speaker 3: by what's happening in the past and nothing by what's
- 25:18Speaker 3: happening in the present. She looks that the card that
- 25:22Speaker 3: the support group lady shared with her the first time
- 25:25Speaker 3: she was there, and she realizes that the support group
- 25:27Speaker 3: meets twice a week and that is where Colton was
- 25:29Speaker 3: driving home from the night he died, and she's convinced
- 25:32Speaker 3: that the Pond will send her back so she can
- 25:34Speaker 3: fix this, and Elliott reminds her once again that what
- 25:37Speaker 3: has happened has always happened, and here again, I refuse
- 25:42Speaker 3: to believe that Jacob has gone. But I also don't
- 25:45Speaker 3: think and at no point in this show have I
- 25:47Speaker 3: felt like we are changing Colton's death.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I don't think so either.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Like I believe we could find Jacob, I don't believe
- 25:55Speaker 3: we're getting Colton back. Okay, So Elliott points out she
- 25:58Speaker 3: could you couldn't change what happened with Jacob, and he
- 26:00Speaker 3: gets pissed because they're stuck in the past, and he says,
- 26:03Speaker 3: I need you here with me, and I need to
- 26:06Speaker 3: be more to you than what I was then, because
- 26:09Speaker 3: Kat is really remembering like you were there for me then,
- 26:13Speaker 3: and he's like, I need you here now what I
- 26:16Speaker 3: am I'm now?
- 26:18Speaker 2: Elliott, Yeah, that's.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Gonna be roughs, But also like, can he be a
- 26:25Speaker 1: little understanding.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I mean, it's only a couple of days away, like
- 26:28Speaker 3: just but I also think he's scared everything that has
- 26:31Speaker 3: happened will happen.
- 26:33Speaker 2: But something worse could happen, like you, I don't know.
- 26:37Speaker 2: See how does that work out?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Right? If she gets killed in her accident, she be killed.
- 26:41Speaker 3: In the past.
- 26:42Speaker 2: That's a good question.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah, wells of those weird questions. At the end of that,
- 26:47Speaker 1: Saint Alice comes knocking on Elliott's door and tells her
- 26:50Speaker 1: mom it's time to come home. Yeah, I said, in
- 26:52Speaker 1: comes Alice like a wrecking ball. And what breaks my
- 26:55Speaker 1: her is She's like, be here with me now, I
- 26:58Speaker 1: promise this is more important.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, crazy.
- 27:03Speaker 1: So and next time we have Kat and Dell and
- 27:05Speaker 1: they're talking. They're back at the house and she's showing
- 27:09Speaker 1: Dell the card and Kat explains that she found the
- 27:13Speaker 1: card downstairs, you know, magically, and confirmed that Colton was
- 27:19Speaker 1: in therapy before he died. And Delle really doesn't want
- 27:22Speaker 1: Kat pursuing the past again. She says she's ready to
- 27:26Speaker 1: stop living in the past herself and she needs to
- 27:29Speaker 1: heal and like, just stop Kat. Kat heads off to
- 27:34Speaker 1: bed and leaves Delle listening to music, and Dell has
- 27:38Speaker 1: what I think is a fantasy.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a conflation of present day Dell experiencing
- 27:47Speaker 3: a past memory.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Right, it's well done. It's really well done. And she
- 27:54Speaker 1: and Colton are dancing to the music and he tells
- 27:57Speaker 1: her that, you know, she's his home and they kiss
- 28:00Speaker 1: and they like reconnect and but he's got a bounce
- 28:06Speaker 1: and he's like, I'll tell you everything that's going on tomorrow.
- 28:10Speaker 1: And I'm like, where is he going? Is that just
- 28:13Speaker 1: the end of this like memory? She's happy, you.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Know, he's going to the support group because he says,
- 28:18Speaker 3: don't forget he Thursday.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Night moon tonight.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Oh that's right, So he's going to He's gonna tell her.
- 28:23Speaker 2: And then he dies.
- 28:24Speaker 1: What the hell is a snow moon?
- 28:26Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:26Speaker 3: It's a big pretty moon. But Dell in this scene says,
- 28:30Speaker 3: I've been frozen in time.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Do the writers of the show listen to this podcast?
- 28:34Speaker 2: Because we have said did time stop for this? Mmmmm?
- 28:39Speaker 1: She has been frozen in time. She has been frozen
- 28:42Speaker 1: in time. But I doubt they listen to this podcast.
- 28:44Speaker 1: I know about writing this week to week.
- 28:46Speaker 3: I know.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Just let me have my moment.
- 28:49Speaker 3: I just thought, I I'm picking up what you're putting
- 28:52Speaker 3: down here upstairs. Kat says good night to Alice, and
- 28:54Speaker 3: Alice asked her to sleep in her room. She says
- 28:56Speaker 3: she misses her, and Cat thinks she's talking about hanging
- 28:59Speaker 3: out with her teenage bff, but she's like, no, I
- 29:02Speaker 3: miss my mom. Alice has a new comforter on her
- 29:06Speaker 3: bed because it's winter, and Kat says, oh, it's the
- 29:08Speaker 3: landry eider down and eider down. I looked it up
- 29:11Speaker 3: because I didn't know what that word meant. And it's
- 29:13Speaker 3: like a it's feathers that are naturally dropped and picked up,
- 29:18Speaker 3: so they're not like forcibly removed. Okay, and apparently they're
- 29:22Speaker 3: like a softer, nicer type of down feather. Anyway, it's
- 29:26Speaker 3: a down comforter she's got on her bed, okay. Alice
- 29:29Speaker 3: shows her the line in the Alice in Wonderland that
- 29:31Speaker 3: she had underlined as a goodbye message to Kat.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Yeah, and this is weird too, because Kat goes, yeah,
- 29:37Speaker 1: I should have realized that, but what, like.
- 29:44Speaker 2: What this is why I'm confused.
- 29:46Speaker 3: I should have realized that was well, not that you
- 29:49Speaker 3: were a time traveler, but that it was a message
- 29:51Speaker 3: from I don't know, I don't know.
- 29:53Speaker 2: But and Alice wishes she could go back to the start.
- 29:57Speaker 3: She kind of wants to relive all of this knowing
- 29:58Speaker 3: what she She doesn't say this, but I assume what
- 30:01Speaker 3: she knows.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Now, let me cut to the morning, and I yell
- 30:05Speaker 2: at my TV.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Because Kat's sneaking out, because she's going to run off
- 30:09Speaker 1: to the pond again.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Yes, we see her leaving a sleeping Alice, and I yell, no,
- 30:14Speaker 3: don't do it.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Not.
- 30:17Speaker 3: My no was less about what is coming than about
- 30:19Speaker 3: you just had this moment. She just told you she
- 30:22Speaker 3: needs you, and you're leaving again.
- 30:24Speaker 2: And on the one hand, I do get it.
- 30:25Speaker 1: But on the other hand, Kat has an itch that
- 30:28Speaker 1: needs to be scratched.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Indeed, I want to.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Go back to the comment that Alice wished she could
- 30:34Speaker 1: just jump back in upon it and go back to
- 30:36Speaker 1: the start. Would that be interesting in season two that
- 30:39Speaker 1: this starts all over again?
- 30:42Speaker 3: I thought that, actually, because I feel like in our
- 30:45Speaker 3: last episode you made a comment like, are we just
- 30:48Speaker 3: going to keep looping back through this?
- 30:50Speaker 1: Did I? But it's a good question.
- 30:53Speaker 3: I think you did, or I imagined it, and I had
- 30:56Speaker 3: the same thought, is are we going to be.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Are we going to get a redo?
- 31:01Speaker 2: I don't know, But then I don't know. I don't
- 31:04Speaker 2: know either. Before we cut to the commercial.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Cat emerges in the pond to see the snow moon
- 31:09Speaker 3: and she says no, no, no, and then.
- 31:11Speaker 2: She realizes that's the night the night. Commercial break, Yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 2: commercial break.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Now.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I thought they did this last series of scenes really well,
- 31:23Speaker 1: really really well. Wait, I want to shout out the director.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Because while you look that up, I just want to
- 31:30Speaker 3: say it was very reminiscent of the scenes when Jacob
- 31:34Speaker 3: is getting lost and there's just cut cut, multiple perspectives
- 31:38Speaker 3: as people are discovering things.
- 31:42Speaker 1: The director is Grant Harvey. I don't recognize any of
- 31:46Speaker 1: his other work other than Heartland, the show I didn't watch,
- 31:51Speaker 1: but I mean, I thought this scene was so good.
- 31:56Speaker 1: So we start out after its commercial. We're back in
- 31:58Speaker 1: two thousand. Cat is running through the woods to the
- 32:02Speaker 1: area where Colton will have his accident. And then we're
- 32:08Speaker 1: back in present day and Elliott is reading the archive
- 32:12Speaker 1: papers that he got from Byron at the Herald, and
- 32:14Speaker 1: it's a story about Colton's death, and he reads aloud.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Witness claims to have seen two women running through the woods,
- 32:21Speaker 1: and his eyes get huge. Two women.
- 32:25Speaker 3: I want to stop you because in the scene where
- 32:27Speaker 3: Cat's running through the woods, yeah, right, in all caps.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Come on, cat, Everything that has happened will always happen.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Doesn't it occur to you that.
- 32:34Speaker 3: You are going to cause this accident? As you stand
- 32:37Speaker 3: where the accident happens. I mean, what is she thinking
- 32:39Speaker 3: she's gonna do? Jump out in front of the car,
- 32:41Speaker 3: drop the car.
- 32:42Speaker 2: It's dark. I just I know that it has to happen,
- 32:46Speaker 2: But I was.
- 32:49Speaker 1: What do you think her plan was? Here?
- 32:50Speaker 2: That's what I don't understand. And how does? How does?
- 32:53Speaker 2: This is a smart woman, she's a journalist.
- 32:55Speaker 3: She investigates things like why is her brain not making
- 32:58Speaker 3: the lead too?
- 32:59Speaker 2: It's me, I know, but I knowed it.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. So the next immediate scene, we're back
- 33:08Speaker 1: in two thousand and Alice emerges from the woods and
- 33:12Speaker 1: like is begging Kat to leave, like let's go, let's go,
- 33:16Speaker 1: And they're kind of like they're not tussling, but she's
- 33:19Speaker 1: like trying to like pull her, like we need to leave,
- 33:22Speaker 1: and Alice like kind of stumbles in the middle of
- 33:26Speaker 1: the road and we see the truck coming and Kat
- 33:30Speaker 1: pushes her out of the way, causing Colton's truck to crash.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Here is where the magic is. The truck crashes it's
- 33:40Speaker 1: like is it silent? Like oh, in her screen, the
- 33:44Speaker 1: action is silent and it's a scream and you brava
- 33:48Speaker 1: to the acting here like I have chills talking about
- 33:51Speaker 1: it now. But it's like here is where she realizes.
- 33:55Speaker 2: That she caused the accident.
- 33:58Speaker 4: Yes, oh my god, I still have chills, as do
- 34:01Speaker 4: I and again, but there's no sense of self preservation,
- 34:05Speaker 4: like the lights are coming down the road and we're
- 34:07Speaker 4: standing get out of this right right.
- 34:11Speaker 3: And this final moment, Kat pulls Colton from the car
- 34:15Speaker 3: and she's like, it's gonna be okay.
- 34:16Speaker 2: You're gonna be okay.
- 34:17Speaker 3: And he looks at her and he says, hey, kiddo,
- 34:19Speaker 3: and then he says, I'm gonna cry. It's my Catherine.
- 34:25Speaker 3: And she calls him daddy and I don't you don't know.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Did he know all along that this is his daughter?
- 34:32Speaker 3: Is this a deathbed realization that he sees her?
- 34:35Speaker 2: I don't know. But it's lovely. I mean she gets
- 34:39Speaker 2: to say goodbye to him, Oh my god.
- 34:42Speaker 3: And then Kat kind of breaks down, she becomes almost catatonic,
- 34:49Speaker 3: and Alice is like, we have to go. We can't
- 34:51Speaker 3: be found here. And Alice has to be the fifteen
- 34:54Speaker 3: year old voice of reason and drags her mother off
- 34:58Speaker 3: into the woods.
- 35:01Speaker 1: End of the episode, I'm like, how what this is?
- 35:06Speaker 1: Where I was like, I don't want this show to
- 35:09Speaker 1: end next week?
- 35:10Speaker 2: I agree, I'm not ready.
- 35:12Speaker 1: They're gonna leave us with a huge cliffhanger they next
- 35:15Speaker 1: week they have to.
- 35:17Speaker 3: We see Kat saying I know where Jacob is in
- 35:19Speaker 3: the preview, I couldn't remember what the previews, what they showed.
- 35:23Speaker 2: There was all there was. That was the only part
- 35:26Speaker 2: that I was with.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Kat has a realization she knows where Jacob is.
- 35:29Speaker 2: She says that I know where Jacob is.
- 35:30Speaker 1: See in the future, the future, I don't know.
- 35:33Speaker 3: I have so many questions because remember this show opened
- 35:38Speaker 3: with a nightgowned figure running through the woods.
- 35:40Speaker 1: I've completely forgotten about it.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Kat, who is that?
- 35:43Speaker 3: Because it's clearly in the past being chased with Yes,
- 35:47Speaker 3: so are we going to somehow.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Come back to that? That is a good question.
- 35:53Speaker 3: I need to know about that. You know, they allude
- 35:55Speaker 3: to the White Witch that there's.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Some relation there.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Where is Jacob? Are we going to get Colton's funeral?
- 36:02Speaker 2: Is it going to be cat crying there?
- 36:04Speaker 3: I mean, it's it's less important to the story. I'm
- 36:08Speaker 3: just curious if she's able to go back.
- 36:10Speaker 1: For that yes, because if it is her crying at
- 36:13Speaker 1: the funeral, that means and then they went back, she
- 36:15Speaker 1: went back again. I don't know how do you recover
- 36:19Speaker 1: from that saying your dad die. I don't know if
- 36:21Speaker 1: you can go back for the funeral like you said,
- 36:24Speaker 1: you're goodbye there, Oh my goodness, and then all you're right.
- 36:29Speaker 1: So many questions about what's this whole him talking to
- 36:35Speaker 1: her on his deathbed there, like what to say?
- 36:39Speaker 3: And I don't know that we're going to get any
- 36:40Speaker 3: more answers there.
- 36:42Speaker 1: I'm dying to know how they're going to do season two.
- 36:44Speaker 3: There's a lot riding on the finale for me, and
- 36:47Speaker 3: I'm going to need a little bit of a buffer
- 36:49Speaker 3: between finishing this show and starting Ride, Like I can't
- 36:52Speaker 3: watch them back to back. Oh yeah, you.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Think you're gonna be like a mess and then be
- 36:55Speaker 1: like okay, now here, I gotta watch Ride.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to need like a day.
