- 0:00Speaker 1: The macro surge could be creating a little bit of
- 0:02Speaker 1: a headwind, and also Michael Saylor doing something kind of interesting.

- 0:25Speaker 1: out there, Bitcoin, ethereum, pretty much anything on the list.
- 0:29Speaker 2: You guys can do that, including gold and silver.
- 0:31Speaker 1: So set up your own IRA, get going and make
- 0:34Speaker 1: sure in start because I think a lot.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Of people put it off.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I get it, you're everybody's busy, but don't do that.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Get going on it right now. Use our link down
- 0:44Speaker 1: below and get a one hundred dollars funding reward when
- 0:46Speaker 1: you get started. All right, let's jump over to a
- 0:47Speaker 1: couple of tweets here to kind of lead off what's
- 0:50Speaker 1: happening in the market right now. There's a lot of
- 0:52Speaker 1: data coming out. You've got, of course, seven major data
- 0:55Speaker 1: releases this week. The CPI comes in on Tuesday, we're
- 0:59Speaker 1: seeing an ex effected of a three point eight year
- 1:01Speaker 1: over year down from four point two.
- 1:03Speaker 2: That'll be interesting.
- 1:04Speaker 1: PPI comes in on Wednesday, expectation month or over month
- 1:09Speaker 1: down from one point one. Retail sales hit, initial job
- 1:13Speaker 1: loss claims will hit, Housing data will hit Michigan consumer sentiment,
- 1:17Speaker 1: which is an interesting one that you should keep your
- 1:19Speaker 1: eyes on on July seventeenth, and then the FED hits
- 1:23Speaker 1: also on July seventeenth.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So the point is is all this data is.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Leaning into next week and that will be the second
- 1:31Speaker 1: FOMC meeting by the Fed, and everybody is wondering where
- 1:35Speaker 1: that's going to be heading in terms of what the
- 1:37Speaker 1: Fed might do. Dellaity also says that we could see
- 1:40Speaker 1: a final drop around bitcoin, pushing it back down to
- 1:44Speaker 1: under sixty k at a fifty six five rate.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Here it is possible.
- 1:48Speaker 1: This, of course, is according to their model and which
- 1:52Speaker 1: is currently kind of in this accumulation phase. And I
- 1:54Speaker 1: think a lot of people that I've talked to they're
- 1:56Speaker 1: buying bitcoin. They're doing it in a.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Variety of dollar cost average strategies.
- 2:01Speaker 1: But let me know what you guys are doing. Are
- 2:03Speaker 1: you actually buying bitcoin right now? Because we saw a
- 2:05Speaker 1: little bit of a pump over the last several days,
- 2:08Speaker 1: or are you holding for potential pullback on the market.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Stable cooin market also.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Shrinks a little bit by seven point seven billion, enough
- 2:15Speaker 1: that that's a lot, but for stable coins to actually fall,
- 2:19Speaker 1: that is an intriguing data point.
- 2:22Speaker 2: So think about that.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It could be signaling a little bit more weaker liquidity,
- 2:27Speaker 1: and I think also could be signaling that maybe even
- 2:30Speaker 1: some of the stallwarths of investing in digital assets are
- 2:34Speaker 1: starting to exit for other asset classes. So let me know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: are you guys holding stable coins and continue to try
- 2:40Speaker 1: to pull those yields.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Some more news over the weekend.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Of course, all eyes are on the straight of horn moves.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Iran is holding the keys.
- 2:48Speaker 1: And from that we are seeing a little bit of
- 2:50Speaker 1: stock movement with the S and P five hundred down
- 2:52Speaker 1: just a slight bit, Nasdaq down point three, Dow Jones
- 2:56Speaker 1: downpoint one, Crewed up three, and then Brint and Gold
- 3:00Speaker 1: also coming in with a little bit of stress in
- 3:03Speaker 1: terms of the overall market. And if you look at this,
- 3:06Speaker 1: you've got it coming from a lot of different angles.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You've got hoothy officials now announcing that their particular area
- 3:14Speaker 1: in terms of how they control certain flow of energy
- 3:18Speaker 1: is also going to get more pressure, which means that
- 3:21Speaker 1: they are anticipating a two hundred dollars per barrel price.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Now that is a big announcement. If it could actually
- 3:28Speaker 1: come true, that would be a huge issue for the US,
- 3:31Speaker 1: but more importantly, that would be a huge issue for
- 3:34Speaker 1: a lot of our allies, including what would happen in China.
- 3:39Speaker 1: So I know Trump is going to be meeting with
- 3:41Speaker 1: g later this month. That'll be interesting. I think this
- 3:44Speaker 1: is going to be on the top of the question
- 3:46Speaker 1: mark overall. So speaking of Trump, here's a phone call
- 3:49Speaker 1: that pretty much got.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Markets a little bit skiddish.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Take a look, but we had a deal, but nobody
- 3:57Speaker 3: knows we had a deal.
- 3:58Speaker 4: It was a done deal, and then broke it. They
- 4:00Speaker 4: always break it. We've had ten deals with these people,
- 4:04Speaker 4: and so we're just going to hit them very hard
- 4:06Speaker 4: and we're going to keep the straight and we'll probably
- 4:09Speaker 4: run it. Will become the Guardian of the Strait. Maybe
- 4:12Speaker 4: we'll call it the Guardian Angel of the Strait, and
- 4:15Speaker 4: we should be reimbursed for that. When we do that,
- 4:17Speaker 4: we're going to be reimburssed. Because the other nations are.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Very wealthy that are on our side, and now we're
- 4:22Speaker 3: going to guard it, and we're going to get paid
- 4:23Speaker 3: for guarding it a lot of money. But we just
- 4:26Speaker 3: want to be reimbursed for doing all of this, for
- 4:29Speaker 3: putting our people in danger. But we're really not putting people.
- 4:32Speaker 3: We're really saving people.
- 4:34Speaker 2: All right.
- 4:35Speaker 1: So when you look at the Strait of Remus traffic
- 4:37Speaker 1: returning to normal by December, this is pretty much fallen
- 4:41Speaker 1: to where are we at right now?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Fifty nine percent chance.
- 4:44Speaker 1: This is low, and I think if you look at
- 4:46Speaker 1: August right there, it's a sixteen. This is kind of
- 4:49Speaker 1: the big one right now, there's basically no near term
- 4:53Speaker 1: possibility that this is going to happen. By the end
- 4:55Speaker 1: of the year, maybe if something goes on where they
- 4:58Speaker 1: can get a deal. And I think the pressure is
- 5:00Speaker 1: going to really mount from mostly European countries because and
- 5:05Speaker 1: also to the US for a certain extent, because you've
- 5:07Speaker 1: got a situation now brewing where the US is starting
- 5:10Speaker 1: to see a lot of pressure on its own oil reserves.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Speaking of that, here is the data right here.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal puts out US Strategic Petroleum Reserve right now,
- 5:20Speaker 1: the spr lowest since.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Nineteen eighty three.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Most of you guys weren't even around in nineteen eighty three,
- 5:26Speaker 1: but that's how.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Low it is.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So this will be a factor and it will start
- 5:31Speaker 1: to hit the gas pump. If in fact, this has
- 5:33Speaker 1: to continue sucking out of the reserve, how much of
- 5:37Speaker 1: an impact that has short term is the question do
- 5:40Speaker 1: we start to truly see a impact on energy costs
- 5:44Speaker 1: in the next few months, because remember there's something very
- 5:46Speaker 1: important happening in November, and that, of course is the midterms.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And if we see five dollars gallon gas on regular
- 5:55Speaker 1: that would be very troublesome, I think for the Republicans,
- 5:59Speaker 1: and right now they're in on retaining the Senate, so
- 6:02Speaker 1: this is a big deal. You can kind of see
- 6:04Speaker 1: the current crude oil WTI West Texas crude. What is
- 6:09Speaker 1: surprising to me is we have not seen more of
- 6:12Speaker 1: a spike.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Now.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Part of this is probably because of the oil reserves
- 6:16Speaker 1: that we currently have in captivity, But the real question
- 6:19Speaker 1: is is what is the forward thinking here if we're
- 6:22Speaker 1: trying to consider repopulating that reserve. So this is where
- 6:26Speaker 1: it's going to get very I think problematic for the US.
- 6:30Speaker 1: If something does not happen soon, all right, So I
- 6:33Speaker 1: want to jump to a.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Clip real quick.
- 6:34Speaker 1: This is where markets are not believing that this is
- 6:37Speaker 1: going to go much longer.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Take a look impacting markets. You're looking at oil up
- 6:42Speaker 5: a bit, but actually not a shocking amount. What do
- 6:44Speaker 5: you see driving all this?
- 6:46Speaker 6: So it is having some splitover effect, but they're very contained.
- 6:50Speaker 6: I think there's two reasons for this. One is the
- 6:53Speaker 6: markets deeply believe that these skirmishes are going to just
- 6:56Speaker 6: remain skirmishes. It's not going to evolve into right conflict
- 7:00Speaker 6: yet again, it's not going to evolve into a long
- 7:03Speaker 6: term closure of the strait. And then the second issue
- 7:05Speaker 6: is there's so much else to focus on, and most
- 7:08Speaker 6: of what else you have to focus on is positive.
- 7:10Speaker 6: So you put these two things together and the market says, Okay,
- 7:13Speaker 6: I am going to reflect this in brand going to
- 7:17Speaker 6: high seventies, but I'm not going to take it to
- 7:19Speaker 6: high eighties or nineties, which is where it would be
- 7:22Speaker 6: if you believe that this is going to be much
- 7:24Speaker 6: bigger than what it is.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Do you think that's the right call?
- 7:26Speaker 3: I do.
- 7:26Speaker 6: What's driving equity prices is this belief that when you
- 7:30Speaker 6: look at the transformations ahead, the US will continuously outperform
- 7:34Speaker 6: the rest of the world, and I think that is
- 7:36Speaker 6: a correct assessment. Now, how much would they outperform in
- 7:39Speaker 6: absolute sense as opposed to relative sense, That's harder to tell,
- 7:43Speaker 6: but I have no doubt they're going to outperform in
- 7:45Speaker 6: relative sense.
- 7:47Speaker 1: All right, So a couple of points there that Muhammad
- 7:49Speaker 1: was getting at. To first point is that the US
- 7:53Speaker 1: still has kind of its kingpin position in terms of performance,
- 7:56Speaker 1: and I think that would hold true. However, when you
- 8:00Speaker 1: look at energy being one of the core staples of
- 8:03Speaker 1: the US economy, I think this is a much bigger
- 8:06Speaker 1: issue now. Whether I agree with him saying that maybe
- 8:09Speaker 1: investors are not looking at it just yet as a threat,
- 8:12Speaker 1: I think the point they have to look at down
- 8:14Speaker 1: the road is what if. And I think a lot
- 8:16Speaker 1: of investors are already kind of pushing in that direction
- 8:19Speaker 1: because we haven't seen what we have seen.
- 8:22Speaker 2: In the past, which is a much more aggressive s
- 8:24Speaker 2: in p.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Five hundred on a growth chart, So where we are
- 8:27Speaker 1: right now kind of boils into what's happening in the
- 8:29Speaker 1: ten year tenure yield also increased three basis points up
- 8:33Speaker 1: to four point five nine. This is the highest since May.
- 8:36Speaker 1: This may have another factor that plays into this, And
- 8:39Speaker 1: I've got a clip here that I want to kind
- 8:41Speaker 1: of go to because Muhammad gets into how this will
- 8:46Speaker 1: have other impact, being the issue in Iran and especially
- 8:51Speaker 1: the straight how this will have much more impact maybe
- 8:54Speaker 1: in other areas.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So take a look.
- 8:56Speaker 6: If you look at the traditional sources of funding for
- 9:00Speaker 6: tech in particular, which is the Middle East, they will
- 9:03Speaker 6: not be as forthcoming.
- 9:04Speaker 2: As have been in the past.
- 9:05Speaker 6: They've got a lot of local demands for.
- 9:07Speaker 7: Funds right now because of the war that's happening right now.
- 9:10Speaker 6: Correct, because massive reconstruction, and also like everybody else, they
- 9:14Speaker 6: realize that they need more resilience. So if you look
- 9:17Speaker 6: the sources of funding is a little bit less, the
- 9:20Speaker 6: uses of funds is a lot more. And the only
- 9:23Speaker 6: way you get this to equal without a recession or
- 9:26Speaker 6: anything awful is hower yields.
- 9:29Speaker 5: That should be reflected in the stack priceis now.
- 9:31Speaker 6: I think people are now realizing two things. One is
- 9:35Speaker 6: it's more expensive than we thought, and two not everybody's
- 9:39Speaker 6: going to win. So the venture capitalist mindsight is starting
- 9:43Speaker 6: to set in, and that's why you see a bit
- 9:44Speaker 6: more caution in terms of investors.
- 9:46Speaker 5: I think Kevin Warrish needs a move up to actually
- 9:50Speaker 5: do some of the things that he wants to do,
- 9:52Speaker 5: like well, it depends what you think he wants to
- 9:54Speaker 5: do with rates.
- 9:56Speaker 6: There's two issues. The economic payoff in terms of productive
- 10:00Speaker 6: vity is going to be significant. What you don't know
- 10:03Speaker 6: is how many of these companies are going to ultimately succeed.
- 10:07Speaker 6: So if you ask me, on average, is the market
- 10:10Speaker 6: failure christ I say yes, individual names. Then I'll say
- 10:13Speaker 6: to you who's going to win?
- 10:16Speaker 2: All right?
- 10:16Speaker 1: So he points to a couple of things, and I
- 10:18Speaker 1: think he might be right there in the sense that
- 10:21Speaker 1: if you look at the market in general, maybe there
- 10:23Speaker 1: isn't pressure here for a rate hike, but there are
- 10:27Speaker 1: going to be a certain subset of companies that win. Listen,
- 10:30Speaker 1: this has already happened before. It's happened in the era
- 10:33Speaker 1: of the Internet. That's happened in the air of mobile,
- 10:36Speaker 1: and there are winners and losers, and there's going to
- 10:38Speaker 1: be winners and losers, and I think the market is
- 10:40Speaker 1: trying to figure it out. The problem is is that
- 10:42Speaker 1: right now the market isn't quite sure. We've seen SpaceX pullback,
- 10:46Speaker 1: Anthropic has slowed down. Obviously, open AI is dealing with
- 10:49Speaker 1: its challenges that I think has a lot of push
- 10:53Speaker 1: on the hyperscalers, irregardless of the fact that they're building
- 10:56Speaker 1: their own electro electric plants next door, those kind of
- 10:59Speaker 1: things that I think we'll maybe end up being a
- 11:01Speaker 1: silver line.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I'll explain that a little bit later.
- 11:04Speaker 1: But the point is is that it is going to
- 11:06Speaker 1: push the FED to make a decision, and decision may
- 11:09Speaker 1: come pretty early. They're looking at maybe October right now
- 11:14Speaker 1: if a FED rate hike was in order, and if
- 11:16Speaker 1: you look at this right here, just from July tenth,
- 11:19Speaker 1: that was three days a guys ago.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Guys, it went from forty.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Seven percent up to sixty six percent holding in October.
- 11:27Speaker 1: The October meeting is the one to keep a very
- 11:29Speaker 1: close eye on if we continue to see macro pressures
- 11:34Speaker 1: facing Kevin Walsh and the FED. So I don't know
- 11:37Speaker 1: if we're going to see a rate hike, but it's
- 11:39Speaker 1: right now looking as though we may.
- 11:41Speaker 2: The other thing that you have to consider the.
- 11:43Speaker 1: UAE as planning to build a new port, a new
- 11:46Speaker 1: container terminal. All of this is happening right now, which
- 11:49Speaker 1: means they're going to start flying away from tech companies
- 11:53Speaker 1: here in terms of investment, it's going to cost a
- 11:55Speaker 1: lot of money to go in here and a course
- 11:58Speaker 1: deal with what's happening in Strait of horror MOUs ship
- 12:02Speaker 1: and then of course would be moved over land to Dubai.
- 12:06Speaker 1: This is another factor that plays into this. Will there
- 12:09Speaker 1: be some alternative routes? All this has been kind of
- 12:11Speaker 1: in play. Even Saudi has already kind of gone this
- 12:13Speaker 1: direction as well. But I just wonder how much is
- 12:16Speaker 1: that going to cost? Because the cost that happens in
- 12:19Speaker 1: the UAE and within those Middle East countries is you're
- 12:23Speaker 1: going to be dealing with a pullback, major pullback on
- 12:26Speaker 1: investment in most of the tech community in Silicon Valley.
- 12:30Speaker 1: That in itself may be a problem going forward. And
- 12:34Speaker 1: if you look at that sky Hanis s K Haynex
- 12:37Speaker 1: was a good example. This of course was the chip
- 12:39Speaker 1: maker that went public last week, straight up and straight
- 12:42Speaker 1: back down, Which was very surprising to see that much
- 12:46Speaker 1: of a pullback on a chip maker that is in
- 12:50Speaker 1: the ripe market right now of making chips for a
- 12:54Speaker 1: lot of driven technology that is really kind of making
- 12:57Speaker 1: the next generation cost a lot more. And that's including
- 13:01Speaker 1: everything from Apple to everything that we're doing on almost
- 13:04Speaker 1: every electronic out there. So this is another maybe indicator
- 13:08Speaker 1: that we could see a little bit more pressure. SpaceX
- 13:11Speaker 1: is another one. Of course, we saw that thing go
- 13:14Speaker 1: to its all time high, short all time high, but
- 13:17Speaker 1: again now wrapping right back down to its essentially its
- 13:21Speaker 1: market entry holding right now in that one thirty to
- 13:25Speaker 1: thirty five range. So that in itself still puts a
- 13:28Speaker 1: lot more pressure I think on the SMP and especially
- 13:30Speaker 1: with what we're seeing in the AI sector. So I
- 13:33Speaker 1: think that's why people are a little bit more skeptical.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Now what that could mean is rotation of capital. So
- 13:40Speaker 1: how does that happen? Well, you've got Robin Hood even
- 13:42Speaker 1: saying it here. We're in a very crypto time of
- 13:45Speaker 1: our lives, and I think they see what's happening with
- 13:47Speaker 1: Robin Hood chain, but also the potential here of a
- 13:51Speaker 1: true rotational period where we may see assets much like
- 13:55Speaker 1: we saw going into AI, starting to move out of
- 14:00Speaker 1: some of the hyperscaler market and into crypto.
- 14:02Speaker 2: So maybe we're at the right time.
- 14:04Speaker 1: We'll see strategy though maybe setting this up, and they're
- 14:08Speaker 1: doing it by selling four hundred and almost a half
- 14:10Speaker 1: a billion dollars in micro strategy shares, and this of
- 14:14Speaker 1: course means one thing. One, why do they need the
- 14:17Speaker 1: money when they're go out taking these loans?
- 14:20Speaker 2: Two?
- 14:21Speaker 1: Is there a plan here where sailor is trying to
- 14:23Speaker 1: set up a major bitcoin purchase at the right time.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Maybe that is what's under way here.
- 14:31Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Let's chip over to ETFs for a moment. If you
- 14:34Speaker 1: look at spot bitcoin ETF records the one ninety seven
- 14:38Speaker 1: in terms of weekly one hundred ninety seven million in
- 14:40Speaker 1: terms of weekly net inflows ended the eight week outflow streak.
- 14:44Speaker 1: The question is, can we get two weeks in a row?
- 14:46Speaker 1: Can we get maybe three weeks in a row? I
- 14:47Speaker 1: don't know right now. Bitcoins starting to stall slightly. What
- 14:52Speaker 1: are we trading at right around sixty two as we're recording,
- 14:55Speaker 1: So that'll be a close close watch right now for
- 14:59Speaker 1: bitcoin ETF. Eth is pumping and you've got Trump here
- 15:03Speaker 1: of course pumping it as well, and that is moving
- 15:06Speaker 1: it up quite a bit. Evan and I talked about
- 15:08Speaker 1: this last week. Eth was our play. It is a
- 15:12Speaker 1: curious time too, because as we see a rotation, ETH
- 15:15Speaker 1: definitely outperforming a bitcoin right now, but maybe I'm performing
- 15:19Speaker 1: some of the other stars for the blue chip side
- 15:22Speaker 1: of it as well. Are you guys in eth? Let
- 15:24Speaker 1: me know down in the comments. I always love to
- 15:26Speaker 1: see if we are a Bitcoin audience, an ETH audience,
- 15:29Speaker 1: a Solana audience, Are you a hype audience, a Jube audience.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Let me know in the comments down below. Tom Lee
- 15:35Speaker 1: is staying on track, though, and that is BM and
- 15:38Speaker 1: R just updated the ethereum holdings and they are continuing
- 15:41Speaker 1: to drive into that five percent target. They are at
- 15:45Speaker 1: four point eight percent right now the total ethereum supply.
- 15:48Speaker 1: This means a lot because remember he is going out
- 15:51Speaker 1: and earning money on all of that ETH that is
- 15:54Speaker 1: out there, So his position continues to be very strong
- 15:58Speaker 1: if you compare it to what's happening with strategy, where
- 16:00Speaker 1: they are having to really do a lot of strategy
- 16:04Speaker 1: to try to get out of the current market that
- 16:06Speaker 1: they are in right now with what microre strategy and
- 16:08Speaker 1: of course stretch as well as the bitcoin price. Tom
- 16:11Speaker 1: Lely has a clip here that I think is interesting
- 16:14Speaker 1: because he goes into the idea of what would happen,
- 16:17Speaker 1: what would what would break your thesis.
- 16:19Speaker 2: What would have to happen for that to occur. Take
- 16:22Speaker 2: a look.
- 16:23Speaker 7: To me, bitcoin will make a full recovery. You know,
- 16:25Speaker 7: I believe you're going to see bitcoin over one hundred
- 16:28Speaker 7: thousand by the end of year, and ethereum, you know,
- 16:30Speaker 7: back to over five thousand. So you know, I think
- 16:33Speaker 7: investors patience is clearly tested because we've I think bitcoin's
- 16:37Speaker 7: been down three quarters in a row, but I think
- 16:39Speaker 7: it's never been down four quarters in a row. So
- 16:41Speaker 7: this would be a test that if they don't balance
- 16:43Speaker 7: from June to September, then you're right, maybe something's broken.
- 16:47Speaker 6: Is there a price point at which you would say, yes,
- 16:50Speaker 6: it is broken.
- 16:51Speaker 7: I think bitcoin is like five percent below production cost
- 16:54Speaker 7: right now. If bitcoin falls below fifty percent of production cost,
- 16:59Speaker 7: it means just take down the network.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Fifty percent of production costs. That would be significant in
- 17:07Speaker 1: terms of a down trend. You currently look at the
- 17:11Speaker 1: bitcoin estimated production costs at about forty five K right now.
- 17:15Speaker 1: That's the price of producing a single bitcoin. So if
- 17:18Speaker 1: it fell down below that, you're talking somewhere and let's
- 17:21Speaker 1: say around the twenty five range for bitcoin. Twenty five
- 17:25Speaker 1: k range for bitcoin. I think that's a pretty OUTLANDI statement.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I shouldn't say, Atlanta. It's a stark statement coming from
- 17:33Speaker 1: Tom Lee, but I don't think he's anticipating it didn't
- 17:35Speaker 1: seem to be. He's looking at one hundred k bitcoin
- 17:38Speaker 1: and a five k ethereum by the end of the year.
