- 0:00Speaker 1: I want to know if you followed up on your
- 0:03Speaker 1: raccoon no sightings. Well, so the raccoon was he carry
- 0:09Speaker 1: had a video last week of the raccoon, UH coming
- 0:11Speaker 1: his security cam caught the raccoon walking on the fence
- 0:15Speaker 1: and then going up on the side of the house
- 0:17Speaker 1: like he was seeing something up there on the roof
- 0:20Speaker 1: or something that he wanted. Did you check to see
- 0:22Speaker 1: if there was anything there that he might have wanted?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Elected to do that? I forgot because I so I've
- 0:28Speaker 1: had a marauder in my yard as well, not a raccoon,
- 0:33Speaker 1: but periodically for the last week or so. My wife
- 0:37Speaker 1: is coming in and said, just destroying our garden. Who
- 0:43Speaker 1: a deer? A deer has been eating stuff in the.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Garden, dough, A female deer.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I don't know for sure whether it was a doe
- 0:52Speaker 1: or not, but it was a deer. Now she has
- 0:56Speaker 1: I've seen deer in our I haven't seen them this year,
- 0:59Speaker 1: but I have seen deer in our yard before, and
- 1:01Speaker 1: which is weird because we don't live I mean, we
- 1:04Speaker 1: live fairly close to the mountains, but it's still that's
- 1:08Speaker 1: a long way for them to come to get into
- 1:11Speaker 1: our yard.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Tells me there's not much for them to eat.
- 1:14Speaker 1: And so we've been trying to keep the deer out
- 1:16Speaker 1: of the yard. It'll come around at night. But the
- 1:19Speaker 1: problem has been solved. My wife said, the deer problem
- 1:22Speaker 1: has been solved. And I said, how do you what happened?
- 1:25Speaker 1: Why is it solved? And she said, I was just
- 1:27Speaker 1: driving down First South and there's a dead deer on
- 1:30Speaker 1: the side of the road. Oh, so that's probably the deer,
- 1:34Speaker 1: you know, a few blocks from my malve to the extreme. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:39Speaker 1: probably that was the deer that was eating stuff in
- 1:43Speaker 1: our yard. They can be quite destructive. I remember you
- 1:45Speaker 1: had a deer problem, and I did. I said. Carrie
- 1:48Speaker 1: used to hang up bars soap in his It worked
- 1:51Speaker 1: in his yard and apparently work. So it's that orange
- 1:55Speaker 1: dial soap.
- 1:56Speaker 3: They hate the smell of it and.
- 1:59Speaker 1: That keeps them away.
- 2:00Speaker 3: But I don't have that problem anymore because I don't
- 2:03Speaker 3: know why.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I don't see deer.
- 2:06Speaker 2: And Carrie actually is in the foothills and I am
- 2:08Speaker 2: in the foothills.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I don't see deer, and you don't. You didn't put
- 2:11Speaker 1: up any kind of a better fence or anything like that.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I mean, I've got a pretty good fence right now
- 2:15Speaker 3: to keep the dogs in.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Is it a different fence than what you had? Oh yeah, yeah,
- 2:20Speaker 1: so maybe that's what did it took skip because my
- 2:23Speaker 1: wife kind of bit was able to there was one
- 2:25Speaker 1: place where it could come in and because the gate
- 2:27Speaker 1: was broken.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Oh well yeah, so she just put a garbage can
- 2:30Speaker 3: in front of it. Yeah, the will I got to
- 2:35Speaker 3: remember to go and check to see what he was
- 2:37Speaker 3: looking for when I get home to Raccoon. Now, my
- 2:40Speaker 3: my big mystery in my house right now is my
- 2:42Speaker 3: ice maker.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Well you have an ice mystery.
- 2:45Speaker 3: An ice maker mystery. What does it leave for the
- 2:48Speaker 3: day or so while we were gone for that month. Yeah,
- 2:53Speaker 3: we had someone staying and watching the house and she
- 2:59Speaker 3: didn't have ice the entire time.
- 3:01Speaker 1: The ice maker just stopped working.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Did you turn it? Did you lift up the thing
- 3:05Speaker 2: to turn it off? Because you can do that.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Well, that's that's just it. I went in and played
- 3:10Speaker 1: played with.
- 3:10Speaker 3: It, and that little wire bail you didn't get it
- 3:13Speaker 3: to go, and you know it wasn't working. So we're
- 3:16Speaker 3: we're about ready to call a repairman to see if
- 3:19Speaker 3: they can come in and take it.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Okay. I just had my same thing with my ice maker.
- 3:24Speaker 1: It stopped working. It just stopped working. Do you use
- 3:27Speaker 1: a lot of ice? You do? Yeah? Every day? Yeah
- 3:29Speaker 1: we do. And uh so, so I called the appliants
- 3:33Speaker 1: repair guy and he said, yeah, they just crap out
- 3:36Speaker 1: after a while, you know, I mean that refrigerator is
- 3:39Speaker 1: pretty old. Well here's the thing. They just put in
- 3:41Speaker 1: a new one. Sue made an.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Appointment to have it repaired, and it started working over
- 3:48Speaker 3: the weekend.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Hmm, it just started working. My guess is the I.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Heard you make the appointment and went on. Fine.
- 3:57Speaker 1: My guess is there was something. There was something frozen
- 4:01Speaker 1: that would not let the water through in it, and
- 4:04Speaker 1: it thawed.
- 4:05Speaker 4: I only use ice for two things. Cocktails, yeah, which.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Is not an everyday thing.
- 4:13Speaker 1: What what do you mean?
- 4:16Speaker 2: It's really it's just wine during the week.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Cocktails are a weekend okay, whatever, And then teetotaler, that's
- 4:25Speaker 4: what you are. And then for my dogs, because they
- 4:30Speaker 4: love ice, I will put ice in there, just in
- 4:33Speaker 4: their water bowl. But then I will also just give
- 4:36Speaker 4: them a bowl of ice to chew on and play with.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I always have I always have, Like, for instance, this
- 4:41Speaker 1: water I have here, always have ice in it, ice water.
- 4:45Speaker 2: But yeah, I don't get a glass and put ice
- 4:47Speaker 2: in it.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Well, you don't drink you don't drink water.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Yeah, Now my my diet coke is cold in the can.
- 4:54Speaker 1: It doesn't My wife doesn't care for her water to
- 4:57Speaker 1: be ice cold. She just likes it.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Now.
- 4:59Speaker 1: See you're your theory about something freezing up.
- 5:01Speaker 3: No, we've been able to get water out of the
- 5:03Speaker 3: out of the spout the entire time, and the on
- 5:06Speaker 3: off switch has been on this entire time.
- 5:09Speaker 1: It just started working. Oh you have one of those
- 5:11Speaker 1: in the door one, yeah, in the door. It just
- 5:15Speaker 1: started working. Yeah. I don't know about those.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Our our our freezer makes pyramid shaped ice. Pyramid shaped
- 5:25Speaker 4: ice because my husband's heritage is a novelty to me.
- 5:30Speaker 1: So so you had to order it from Egypt.
- 5:32Speaker 2: No, it's just it was an option.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Why didn't you get I get it get sphinx shape?
- 5:38Speaker 2: I said, like the like it's not a mold like.
- 5:41Speaker 4: The ice that the that the freezer makes comes out
- 5:44Speaker 4: in the shape of pyramids.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Is it Is it designed for Egyptian customers only? I
- 5:50Speaker 1: don't know, but it's it's so so when you got
- 5:55Speaker 1: the refrigerator, you just noticed that it was made No.
- 5:58Speaker 4: That was that was one of the selling points, you know,
- 6:01Speaker 4: the sticker on the front of it when you're shopping.
- 6:05Speaker 2: I don't even remember, but it said pyramid shaped ice.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I'm like, that's that we have to give you.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You're sure there wasn't a sphinx shaped one. That's difficult.
- 6:12Speaker 1: It would have been even better. That'd be great. Or
- 6:17Speaker 1: a coiled cobe let's see. No, not a cobra, the
- 6:20Speaker 1: ass an as that's right. Oh is this what they
- 6:25Speaker 1: look like in the chat room? Gina?
- 6:27Speaker 2: Oh, I don't know's it.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Looks like a good shape. Yeah, I don't. I don't
- 6:32Speaker 1: you know.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I'm okay with the shape of our eyes. This kind
- 6:35Speaker 3: of fun though shape.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I would I would love this. Let's see, mine's like
- 6:40Speaker 1: the half moon's Yeah, huh.
- 6:43Speaker 3: I like the I like the triangle shape.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Now my new the ice maker that the guy
- 6:49Speaker 1: from Famous Appliance Repair.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Everybody talks about them.
- 6:53Speaker 1: They're famous, they they it's a different It used to
- 6:58Speaker 1: be the half moon, but the one he put in
- 7:00Speaker 1: it's a different shape. I like it better, but I can't.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I can't really describe what the shape is. So it's
- 7:06Speaker 1: not pyramids. No, it's not it's not. But it's not
- 7:09Speaker 1: the half moon either. It's some other. Yeah, but no,
- 7:14Speaker 1: I always have. I probably put my hand in the
- 7:17Speaker 1: ice maker every day. Yeah, we go through a lot
- 7:20Speaker 1: of ice. You know.
- 7:23Speaker 3: You might want to try water sometimes it's.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Really a fine, beverye it's great. I'm having some right now.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Skeptical or I even convinced John Smith to drink water,
- 7:33Speaker 3: and he started and he loves it.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Now.
- 7:36Speaker 1: You never you never pour a coke over a glass.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Of eyes, No, because it waters it down.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Because it makes it more like water. And I don't like,
- 7:48Speaker 1: well you drink The point is you drink it quickly. Oh,
- 7:51Speaker 1: my wife is excited. She's she's found a place where
- 7:54Speaker 1: she can buy those sixteen ounce cans of diet coke,
- 7:58Speaker 1: the tall ones. You know, you don't see them every now.
- 8:02Speaker 1: And I can't remember where she said she found it,
- 8:04Speaker 1: but she'll she'll go there just to get those, because
- 8:07Speaker 1: she prefers the diet cocaing a can, of course, and
- 8:10Speaker 1: then the tall sixteen is nice, nicer.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I could get diet cocaine a glass bottle, I would, but.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It doesn't get cold, it doesn't get as cold in plastic.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Well, and now we're going to end this conversation with
- 8:22Speaker 3: a text from this person here, my freezer has balls, balls, balls,
