- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:31This morning, we are going to be talking about coming back to
- 0:33Center because there's so many things that throw you off center
- 0:38all the time. I know I've had quite a few of
- 0:40them in the last week here, out on the farm, that have just been
- 0:45the, some of them been heart-wrenching, but in any
- 0:48event coming back to Center recalibrating yourself.
- 0:53We've talked about that, you know, and a couple episodes ago
- 0:58about those creative things that can When you back and put you in
- 1:02a different place. Today, I want to talk to you
- 1:05about actually centering yourself in a different way.
- 1:09So, there are a couple of physical tricks that actually
- 1:12really work. Well, obviously, we all know
- 1:15about breath work and how you are to take deep breaths and
- 1:19expel, it breathe in, through your nose and out through your
- 1:22mouth. And in, through your nose and
- 1:23out through your mouth. And this puts this, you back
- 1:26into your body and centers, you and puts you into a Heightened
- 1:31state of oxygen, oftentimes, this works really well because
- 1:36most of us are shallow, breathers, believe it or not.
- 1:39A lot of people don't have both sides of their nose that work.
- 1:43I really can attest to this myself because I often am
- 1:48completely stuffed up on one side.
- 1:50So taking deep breaths, actually feels really good when you are
- 1:54able to do it and like get yourself into a good state with
- 1:57having enough oxygen in your body.
- 1:59It's amazing how Oxygen and water shift things because the
- 2:05second thing is not just breath work, but water.
- 2:08Hydration dehydration is a major factor for human beings.
- 2:15There is a doctor that wrote a little book called your body's
- 2:18many cries for water. You probably will never find it
- 2:21anywhere except on Amazon. His last name is dr.
- 2:24Buttman Gotti. I cannot spell that to save my
- 2:27soul, but if you look up, your body's many cries for Water,
- 2:31you'll see it. And one of his teachings is all
- 2:33about the fact that he believes most ailments illness and
- 2:37diseases that we suffer from come from a lack of hydration,
- 2:41which I have to say in my own personal experience dehydration,
- 2:46just is such a big factor. I spend a lot of time working
- 2:50with clients talking walking and when I don't drink enough water,
- 2:55my joints just kill me when I drink enough water.
- 2:58I feel amazingly better. And we all know, That you know,
- 3:01most people get in the hospital. What's the first thing they do?
- 3:04They hook you up to an IV. Well, what's the reason for
- 3:08that? Well, it's because we get there
- 3:10and we are dehydrated and they know it, they know that the when
- 3:14people come through the door, they are dehydrated.
- 3:17So the first thing they do is fix it.
- 3:19Now I'm going to be very clear and some of you don't want to
- 3:22hear this. I know it, but drinking pop
- 3:26soda. Drinking coffee is Is not
- 3:31hydrating yourself. It's not it's just not we can
- 3:33pretend and in pretend World maybe that works.
- 3:36But in reality it's just not healthy and it's not good and
- 3:39it's not hydrating, it actually dehydrates you.
- 3:41So when even when you're drinking things, like I live in
- 3:44the south so it's a sweet tea kind of place.
- 3:48Sweet tea, does not hydrate. You sweet tea, actually
- 3:50dehydrates you. So you have to realize, I'm not
- 3:54talking about sugar products. I'm not even talking about
- 3:57water. That's altered with all kinds of
- 3:59stuff. I'm talking about.
- 4:00Straight up water or coconut water, things that actually
- 4:05hydrate you so huge Factor, they're bringing your body back
- 4:09to Center, make sure you're hydrating.
- 4:11Make sure you're breathing. And another thing that is so
- 4:15incredibly. Important is the quality of the
- 4:18snacks or food that you're putting in.
- 4:21Listen we all loved snack, we all love to graze.
- 4:24But throughout the day when we're stressed and we keep
- 4:27grabbing chips or cookies or things that Are hanging out in
- 4:31the office, those don't work well, those don't work well, so
- 4:35this requires that you set yourself up to say, okay, when I
- 4:39have an afternoon dip, when I feel like crap in the afternoon,
- 4:42what have I got to look at? Well, I probably been sitting
- 4:44too long. I don't have are, I probably
- 4:46haven't had enough to drink, or I've been drinking coffee.
- 4:49So, I need to have some water, and I need to actually have
- 4:52something healthy as a snack. So, you know, Nature's Food.
- 4:56God's creations are always the best oranges, apples, things
- 4:59like that. You do make a difference.
- 5:01And I know this sounds silly and you're probably like why am I
- 5:04listening to this? Talk about this piece of it
- 5:08because the fundamentals are your brain does not function.
- 5:12Well, if it does not have the proper setup for the body, you
- 5:17know, I had a client talk to me about this be couple years ago
- 5:21and I'll never forget it as we were going through this and
- 5:24she's like, I just don't know about this.
- 5:26I don't think that the body has that much to say, I said really,
- 5:29so let me give you an example. So, when you have to pee, is
- 5:32there anything more important than when you really have to
- 5:34pee? And she starts laughing.
- 5:36And she goes, well, I got to get to the bathroom and I'm like,
- 5:39right? But your body is talking and
- 5:41you're going to listen because you don't want to pee your
- 5:43pants. Let's see, what about pooping.
- 5:45What if you have to really poop your pants?
- 5:47Do you think about anything else or do you just think about
- 5:50getting to a bathroom as quickly as you can?
- 5:52And she started laughing she goes, I see your point.
- 5:53I'm like yes when the body is talking to you you have to
- 5:58listen it's just that when we have to Can we have to pee?
- 6:01Those are different signals to us than when the breathing and
- 6:05the food and the water are the issues, but they're no less
- 6:09important. Those other three in fact,
- 6:10they're more important because there's subtle and they affect
- 6:13the overall system. So I challenge you guys today to
- 6:18go out and make sure that you are hydrated that you are
- 6:22breathing well and for the love of God eat.
- 6:24Good snacks, stay away from fast food and make sure that you're
- 6:28setting your body up to win. With this process of getting
- 6:32back to Center and you're giving it every opportunity.
- 6:35All right, my friends. I will see you tomorrow.
- 6:37I hope you have a healthy and blessed day.
- 6:41Bye. With this process of getting
- 6:32back to Center and you're giving it every opportunity.
