- 0:04Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to reality TV Cringe. I am one
- 0:08Speaker 1: of your hosts, Delia here with my real tight homegirl
- 0:12Speaker 1: and my daughter in law.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Bitches.
- 0:15Speaker 3: That's me.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Happy New Year, Middle, Happy New Year. We are here
- 0:19Speaker 1: in twenty twenty five. Wow. Do you have any vibes
- 0:23Speaker 1: about how this year is going to be?
- 0:25Speaker 4: I don't know. I think it's gonna be good, do you?
- 0:27Speaker 4: I think it's gonna be good okay for us?
- 0:29Speaker 1: For us, yeah, or for us like the kind of us? Really,
- 0:35Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 0:35Speaker 4: It's gonna be chaotic. We're in Pludo on Aquarius, bitch,
- 0:38Speaker 4: so things are gonna be changing. There's no predictions for
- 0:41Speaker 4: this shit. We just got to ride the waves.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah, well that doesn't sound good for us.
- 0:45Speaker 4: No, it's like it is good.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Okay, change is good. All right. Well, I'm excited about it.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I remember when twenty twenty happened and we all were
- 0:52Speaker 1: like so excited, and I'm like, twenty twenty clear vision. Yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 1: this is gonna be the year of like hitting our goals.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Wah wah, megan it work? Yeah that did not work
- 1:03Speaker 1: out at all. So hopefully twenty twenty five is a
- 1:07Speaker 1: much better year for all of us hopefully, like maybe
- 1:10Speaker 1: we can gain some equilibrium.
- 1:12Speaker 4: That'd be great.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Things can sort of settle down, that would be great,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and we could just be happy and everybody can be happy.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Com bai ya all right, Ye, we are here to
- 1:23Speaker 1: address your very important concerns about the Brown family on
- 1:29Speaker 1: TLC also known as Sister Wives. Yeah, we've had a
- 1:31Speaker 1: few of you call in, and of course we take
- 1:34Speaker 1: that very serious, and so we're going to be addressing
- 1:36Speaker 1: your calls and answering your questions. But before we do,
- 1:41Speaker 1: please hid your wife and hid your kids. This is
- 1:44Speaker 1: a politically in correct podcast to say a lot of
- 1:48Speaker 1: bad words. We have truly and verifiably stupid opinions, definitely,
- 1:55Speaker 1: and we're not sorry, No, never going to be sorry either.
- 1:58Speaker 1: So have your awful FULLO why are you even here?
- 2:02Speaker 1: Go away already. You might want to find yourself another dumpster,
- 2:06Speaker 1: But if you're ready to talk about dam Brown's, welcome
- 2:10Speaker 1: to this dumpster.
- 2:12Speaker 4: And if you like what we do over here, be

- 2:33Speaker 1: please do not forget to like and comment and share.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I gotta do to share. By the way, yes, copy
- 2:39Speaker 1: that link. You don't even have to share it. No
- 2:41Speaker 1: YouTube senses though your intention to share it. And then
- 2:45Speaker 1: they ask themselves what is this the channel about? And
- 2:48Speaker 1: now we're an algorithm and we can be recommended, share, comment,
- 2:51Speaker 1: do all of the things. Yeah, we truly appreciate it.
- 2:54Speaker 4: It comes to nothing.
- 2:55Speaker 6: Thank you and advair thank you.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Okay, well let's just get right into those speak byes as, right. Okay,
- 3:01Speaker 1: first one we got is from Haley.
- 3:02Speaker 6: HAYB and D. This is Hailey calling from a rainy
- 3:05Speaker 6: dumpster in Seattle. I've got a couple things.
- 3:09Speaker 7: First.
- 3:09Speaker 6: The comment that Christine made about McKelty and David being
- 3:13Speaker 6: very similar and it's basically like she's marrying her daughter.
- 3:16Speaker 6: That confused me because I see McKelty and David as
- 3:20Speaker 6: polar opposites. I think McKelty is a clout goblin and
- 3:23Speaker 6: a narcissist, and I have not gotten that impression from David,
- 3:27Speaker 6: So what are we not seeing? Is he completely different
- 3:29Speaker 6: off camera? I'd love to know what your guys' thoughts
- 3:32Speaker 6: are on that comment she made. Also, what just happened
- 3:36Speaker 6: with Mary on the couch and that conversation she was
- 3:39Speaker 6: having with her two girlfriends. She did not want to
- 3:41Speaker 6: talk about the breakup combo and then finally Jen got
- 3:45Speaker 6: her to do it, and then all of the sudden,
- 3:46Speaker 6: production wants to show us the tea. They want to
- 3:50Speaker 6: give us some actual new information and go back and
- 3:53Speaker 6: show us what Cody had actually said, which was poor girl,
- 3:57Speaker 6: that was so hard on Robin completely discout Mary's feelings
- 4:01Speaker 6: in that conversation. My question though, is why are they
- 4:04Speaker 6: not showing us that until Mary talks about it? Are
- 4:07Speaker 6: they waiting for the og wives to bring this up
- 4:09Speaker 6: on camera to get the green light to air the footage?
- 4:12Speaker 6: And how is all of that going on behind the scenes.
- 4:15Speaker 6: I'm so confused. Lastly, Cody's comment about all these men
- 4:19Speaker 6: lined up around the block for Robin at church, I
- 4:22Speaker 6: guarantee there are more men that are interested in Cody
- 4:25Speaker 6: than interested in Robin. Thanks ladies, love the podcast. You
- 4:29Speaker 6: guys are the best.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Oh that was great.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I also agree about Cody, and there probably is more
- 4:37Speaker 4: men that are.
- 4:38Speaker 1: Into Yeah, I know, I can definitely see that as well. Yeah, okay,
- 4:42Speaker 1: So the first question was how in the world Christine
- 4:46Speaker 1: can say that David is like McKelty. Yeah, I'm trying
- 4:49Speaker 1: to remember the context in which Christine said that. I
- 4:52Speaker 1: think that they were at one of these goddamn wedding celebration, Yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 1: something like that to the nuptials, and McKelty was playing
- 4:59Speaker 1: around something with David. Yeah, or like maybe it was
- 5:02Speaker 1: the one where she like spilled the tacoberia sauce on
- 5:05Speaker 1: her white dress and mackelty was calling David over to
- 5:09Speaker 1: see it. David is nothing like McKelty. No, he seems
- 5:13Speaker 1: like a reserved, laid back, chill kind of person. He
- 5:18Speaker 1: doesn't seem like somebody who needs to shove himself into
- 5:22Speaker 1: the spotlight or to like have all of the attention.
- 5:25Speaker 1: He seems content to support Christine, not to like stand
- 5:28Speaker 1: in front of her and soak up all the oxygen
- 5:31Speaker 1: in a room. So I don't see it.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't see it either. And I think that
- 5:34Speaker 4: was in the context of like sarcasm, like mickelty and
- 5:38Speaker 4: David are just as sarcastic or snarky or something. But
- 5:41Speaker 4: I'm like, I don't see it. I don't even think
- 5:43Speaker 4: mckelty's funny.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So not at all.
- 5:45Speaker 4: I feel like David's way more funnier. I feel like
- 5:47Speaker 4: he's way chiller. He's a Capricorn. I thought he was
- 5:50Speaker 4: a Sagittarius, but actually he's like Capricorn sag cusp. So
- 5:54Speaker 4: he's like the grandpa, yeah of the zodiac, So he's
- 5:57Speaker 4: like chill whatever. I feel like Christina and McKelty are
- 6:02Speaker 4: very much alike.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Do we know what mchelte's sun sign is?
- 6:06Speaker 4: I can look it up?
- 6:07Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, So as Beatrice was pulling up mckeltie's sun sign,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I said, I bet she's a Gemini. Yeah, and she's
- 6:14Speaker 1: a Gemini.
- 6:15Speaker 4: And I guessed it too in my head. Yeah, definitely
- 6:17Speaker 4: a Gemini.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Totally seems like a Gemini, and David absolutely seems like
- 6:21Speaker 1: a Capricorn. I think people get tired of it's talking
- 6:23Speaker 1: about astrology. Okay, they you can suck these nuts.
- 6:25Speaker 4: You can suck these nuts.
- 6:27Speaker 1: We like talking about it.
- 6:28Speaker 4: I love astrology.
- 6:29Speaker 1: She loves astrology. Yeah, we do talk about it from
- 6:32Speaker 1: time to time. Yeah, there's absolutely no similarities between the two.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I think Christine loves to hear herself talk. Yeah, and
- 6:40Speaker 1: so she says these stupid things that are not rooted
- 6:43Speaker 1: in reality, and you just have to forget. She even
- 6:46Speaker 1: said them in one ear and out the other. That's
- 6:48Speaker 1: how I feel about Christine yep, and even less about
- 6:51Speaker 1: Chelty agreed. Okay, So the second part of her question
- 6:54Speaker 1: was in regard to Cody making that comment about poor
- 6:58Speaker 1: Robin when Mary and Cody were breaking up on Kytie
- 7:02Speaker 1: Pass and why we did not see that footage when
- 7:05Speaker 1: that episode aired. Yeah, and are we sure about that?
- 7:09Speaker 1: I don't fucking know. I can't keep any of it, dude,
- 7:12Speaker 1: But a lot of people have said that that wasn't
- 7:14Speaker 1: actually included. But when I saw it, I thought I
- 7:17Speaker 1: had already seen it, but I'm probably wrong.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Well, we're watching the same footage over and over and
- 7:21Speaker 4: over again, so it's kind of hard to like keep
- 7:23Speaker 4: it all together. But I mean, the producers are not
- 7:27Speaker 4: gonna show us the real footage because they got to
- 7:29Speaker 4: keep some of the juicy bits to like string us along,
- 7:32Speaker 4: like Mary Brown does with her Instagram posts and her
- 7:35Speaker 4: vague igrit therapy stuff. Yeah, so like that's what the
- 7:39Speaker 4: TLC producers are doing. Like they'll keep like the one
- 7:42Speaker 4: good little clips and they'll just like string it along
- 7:45Speaker 4: in previews or in the next season because they got
- 7:48Speaker 4: to make content.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I guess it kind of felt to me in the
- 7:52Speaker 1: moment when they were having that conversation at Brandy's house
- 7:55Speaker 1: in Vegas, like the producers actually told them to somehow
- 7:59Speaker 1: bring this up because they wanted to feature that clip,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and so they wanted to get it in and so
- 8:04Speaker 1: they're organizing production behind the scenes, and so they're requiring
- 8:07Speaker 1: these conversations. But I don't know, Like I don't know. Listen,
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm the last person to be able to decipher the
- 8:13Speaker 1: rosetta stone of this production team because they seem to
- 8:16Speaker 1: be operating on a different planet entirely the way I
- 8:19Speaker 1: would be doing it, so differently if I don't know.
- 8:23Speaker 1: And yes, Cody would attract the attention of the male gaze,
- 8:28Speaker 1: if the male gaze was interested in all.
- 8:30Speaker 4: That, I'm sure you could find a nice gay man
- 8:32Speaker 4: that would be into Unfortunately, but I mean his classmates
- 8:35Speaker 4: in high school did say that they thought he was gay.
- 8:37Speaker 1: So not just gay flamboyantly gay, flamboyantly gay. That makes a.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Different Yeah, it does make a difference.
- 8:46Speaker 1: So good questions. Yea from Hale, Thank you all right.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Next one is from an anonymous O.
- 8:53Speaker 8: God, I'm just so fed up with Mary, and I
- 8:59Speaker 8: don't know. I can't, like I haven't fully fought through
- 9:02Speaker 8: why I'm mad at her. But I'm mad at her for.
- 9:05Speaker 7: Being mad at Robin for how Robin acted on Kyote pass,
- 9:09Speaker 7: because like she didn't even have to be there, Like
- 9:12Speaker 7: you put her in a position where she was that
- 9:14Speaker 7: involved in your relationship and you allowed Cody to put
- 9:17Speaker 7: her into that position. Like she's been annoying this whole time,
- 9:21Speaker 7: she's been crossing boundaries and you know, making her emotions
- 9:24Speaker 7: about your emotions about herself for this whole time. Like
- 9:27Speaker 7: now you're gonna complain you were permissive in that just
- 9:30Speaker 7: always got the wrong take. She's always like trying to
- 9:34Speaker 7: be so original and higher than the others, And like
- 9:37Speaker 7: you want an original take, why don't you stay besties
- 9:40Speaker 7: with Robin the way you have and just completely go
- 9:42Speaker 7: hard on Cody. I want to see you put Robin
- 9:45Speaker 7: in a position where she has to criticize Cody, and
- 9:47Speaker 7: I want to see the fallout from that, Like she's
- 9:50Speaker 7: always too soft and just like really weak willed about
- 9:54Speaker 7: her anger, and I just want to see her like,
- 9:56Speaker 7: do something original, Mary, be mad, feel your feelings, show
- 10:00Speaker 7: us something, because I just kind of think you're.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Sad, I e pathetic. Yeah, like a couple of episodes
- 10:10Speaker 1: A goal.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I agree. It's hard for me, like
- 10:14Speaker 4: somebody who tends to be kind of reactive and like
- 10:18Speaker 4: I just do shit. You don't even want to know,
- 10:21Speaker 4: You don't even want to.
- 10:22Speaker 9: See a girl.
- 10:22Speaker 1: God, you are so ready to put your ready.
- 10:25Speaker 4: To put my duke, so all ready to fine, I know,
- 10:27Speaker 4: but no, for real, Like I'm so emotional. I'm like
- 10:30Speaker 4: if I'm mad, you're gonna sense it. You'll see it
- 10:32Speaker 4: on my fucking face, like or I will start screaming
- 10:35Speaker 4: at you. So it's like hard for me to look
- 10:37Speaker 4: at somebody like Mary who can just bury that down
- 10:41Speaker 4: and not be authentic, especially on TV, and just like
- 10:44Speaker 4: keep all of that behind her walls and not react
- 10:47Speaker 4: because it's like nobody wants to see that. We want
- 10:49Speaker 4: to see you be you and say how you actually feel.
- 10:53Speaker 4: She's kind of starting to do it. Some of these
- 10:55Speaker 4: most recent talking kits for Mary.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah, only when she doesn't have anything else to lose,
- 11:00Speaker 1: then she feels a little bit more comfortable. But I
- 11:03Speaker 1: feel like we have seen Mary bear her teeth, but
- 11:07Speaker 1: it's always with like Christine. Remember when the fire was
- 11:11Speaker 1: coming in Flagstaff and so the whole family went over
- 11:14Speaker 1: to Mary's rental and Christine was trying to help and
- 11:17Speaker 1: being her annoying self, and Mary totally snapped at her,
- 11:20Speaker 1: Like we've seen her with Janelle and Christine be a
- 11:23Speaker 1: bit defensive and I wouldn't say aggressive, but I could
- 11:28Speaker 1: see it in her to do that, but we have
- 11:30Speaker 1: not seen that with Robin. I think that is such
- 11:33Speaker 1: a brilliant idea anonymous to have Mary talk to Robin
- 11:38Speaker 1: as a friend would yea, and talk about their things
- 11:41Speaker 1: that they have in common, which is Cody and all
- 11:43Speaker 1: of the ways that Cody did all of the women wrong.
- 11:47Speaker 1: To see what Robin would say, because I think Robin
- 11:49Speaker 1: in that moment would probably get pissed and be very defensive,
- 11:53Speaker 1: which would be stupid. It would be really interesting and
- 11:56Speaker 1: fun to see how Robin actually handles that.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Yeah, to be a fly on the wall, like if
- 12:01Speaker 4: they didn't do that off camera or on camera, if
- 12:04Speaker 4: they did that off camera. It would be so interesting
- 12:06Speaker 4: to see, but we're never going to see it.
- 12:08Speaker 1: No, we are not.
- 12:09Speaker 4: And I do have a comment that I wanted to
- 12:11Speaker 4: read from somebody else, kind of piggybacking off of this.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Last week that we did the speak pipes, we had
- 12:17Speaker 4: somebody called Raccoon in Our Adoration or whatever, and they
- 12:21Speaker 4: talked about Mary and her lack of self and she
- 12:25Speaker 4: made a follow up comment that I thought was kind
- 12:27Speaker 4: of interesting. She said, I think that Mary's lack of
- 12:30Speaker 4: self is also what's making her need to feel like
- 12:32Speaker 4: she's handling the breakup and leaving better than Janelle and Christine,
- 12:37Speaker 4: rather than owning her truth, actually healing and walking away
- 12:40Speaker 4: on her terms. She is trying to be the best
- 12:43Speaker 4: ex wife because now that she's not as dependent on
- 12:46Speaker 4: Cody for her self worth, she's trying to find it
- 12:49Speaker 4: in comparison and in navigating life with what she thinks
- 12:52Speaker 4: is more grace than the other women. I think we
- 12:55Speaker 4: can expect to see a lot of Mary doing that
- 12:57Speaker 4: toxic teenage girl thing of bearing others down to make
- 13:01Speaker 4: herself look better for a little longer until she stabilizes
- 13:04Speaker 4: her self worth. And it's not mean spirited. It's this
- 13:08Speaker 4: psychological need that is driving her actions that she's not
- 13:11Speaker 4: even aware of or probably able to identify.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oh my god, Yeah, what an enlightened take.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Raccoon and adoration is based.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I can see that though. That makes a whole lot
- 13:20Speaker 1: of sense to me. Yeah, that a lot of what
- 13:22Speaker 1: we're seeing when she's taking these digs at these other
- 13:25Speaker 1: women is an attempt to stabilize who she thinks she
- 13:28Speaker 1: is or how she's showing up in the middle of
- 13:31Speaker 1: this experience. And once she feels better about herself and
- 13:34Speaker 1: stronger in her own identity, whatever that is. And I
- 13:36Speaker 1: do think right now, the Mary that we're getting, even
- 13:38Speaker 1: on Instagram, it's a very fluid identity. I feel like
- 13:41Speaker 1: she's still trying to find herself. But once she does,
- 13:44Speaker 1: I think her messaging is going to be a lot clearer. Yeah,
- 13:47Speaker 1: whether we like it or not, I think we're going
- 13:49Speaker 1: to understand at least where she's coming from. But right now,
- 13:51Speaker 1: I'm just like, you still ingratiating yourself to Cody. You're
- 13:55Speaker 1: still caping for Cody, right You're still advocating for Cody.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Even when you're taking some digs, You're still defending him.
- 14:01Speaker 1: And I don't respect it.
- 14:03Speaker 4: I don't either, and maybe that's why she's tearing everybody
- 14:05Speaker 4: else down because she doesn't. She doesn't feel like she
- 14:08Speaker 4: can with Cody and Robin, like maybe they're kind of
- 14:11Speaker 4: scary to her or something.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Well, but she's starting to talking. She's calling her relationship
- 14:16Speaker 1: with Robin non reciprocal. She's not calling Cody out for
- 14:21Speaker 1: talking to her badly, like there are some She is
- 14:23Speaker 1: using her friends as mouthpieces, obviously, because she's still not
- 14:26Speaker 1: confident enough. The way I would be blowing up his spot,
- 14:29Speaker 1: the way I would be having some sort of a
- 14:31Speaker 1: PowerPoint presentation with the receipts, That's what I would be doing.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Mary is obviously not me. But hopefully we can get
- 14:39Speaker 1: her there over the next few years. That would be delightful,
- 14:43Speaker 1: so great, so good.
- 14:44Speaker 4: That would be such good TV. Yes, so anyway, thank
- 14:47Speaker 4: you anonymous raccoon.
- 14:48Speaker 10: That was great.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Yes, all right. Next one we have is from Alie.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Alie, Hello, ladies, This is Ali from the Baltimore Dumpster
- 14:59Speaker 2: here in Maryland, and.
- 15:01Speaker 3: I love your podcast, and I know everybody says that,
- 15:04Speaker 3: so I'm sorry for repeating that, but I just have
- 15:08Speaker 3: a thought when I hear Robin talk about Cody no
- 15:13Speaker 3: longer being involved with his kids. I really do feel
- 15:18Speaker 3: like she cares, but I think that like she's so
- 15:21Speaker 3: mentally underdeveloped that she doesn't realize that the actions that
- 15:26Speaker 3: she's helped him make over all of these years has
- 15:30Speaker 3: destroyed that relationship. I genuinely don't think that she understands
- 15:35Speaker 3: that her actions are what have her actions and Cody's
- 15:38Speaker 3: actions have are what have caused this.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I think that she thinks, oh, well, if they come
- 15:43Speaker 2: over for Christmas and you know, we shoot in the
- 15:46Speaker 2: text every once in a while, like it's gonna be fine.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Even though my kids are number one, it's okay, you
- 15:51Speaker 2: can still have a relationship with them. I really think
- 15:54Speaker 2: that's what she wants, but like she doesn't realize that
- 15:57Speaker 2: that's not how that works anyway. Love, you have a
- 16:02Speaker 2: great day.
- 16:06Speaker 11: Hard disagree, Yeah, hard disagree, Although I appreciate the sentiment,
- 16:13Speaker 11: and I think there are actually a lot of people
- 16:15Speaker 11: out there that feel that way about Robin, Like she's
- 16:18Speaker 11: kind of yeah, she's orchestrating it, but.
- 16:21Speaker 1: It's almost unconscious. She doesn't really know the effect that
- 16:25Speaker 1: her actions have on the family, Like and I think
- 16:28Speaker 1: a lot of people feel a lot of people feel
- 16:29Speaker 1: that way, but I don't. I think she absolutely understands.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I think when we see her and Cody in the
- 16:37Speaker 1: driveway with that fake, performed argument, we see her trying
- 16:43Speaker 1: to rehabilitate her image, it's because she knows. It's because
- 16:46Speaker 1: she knows how she's coming across. It's because she knows
- 16:49Speaker 1: the group chat for Christmas has been leaked. It's because
- 16:52Speaker 1: she's thinking about how she wants to present herself in
- 16:56Speaker 1: front of other people. And that's because I think she's
- 16:58Speaker 1: fucking cunning and again, not super intelligent, but I think
- 17:02Speaker 1: she's cunning. I think she has the instinct for manipulation,
- 17:05Speaker 1: and I'm just I'm just not agreeing with that. I
- 17:08Speaker 1: think that gives her way too much of an out
- 17:10Speaker 1: I give. I think that gives her way too much grace.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I think she's diabolical, bitch. I think we're seeing demon
- 17:19Speaker 1: demon principalities power when we're looking at Robin Brown.
- 17:24Speaker 9: Well, I don't know.
- 17:24Speaker 4: I mean I could see like a world where if
- 17:28Speaker 4: she's truly a narc that we know she is. You know,
- 17:31Speaker 4: narcs think that what they're doing is always good enough,
- 17:34Speaker 4: Like they don't ever think that they're wrong, or that
- 17:37Speaker 4: they're doing anything wrong.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Or that there are raccoons with monocles who can clock them.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Exactly, and they think that, like with their relationships with people,
- 17:44Speaker 4: that they're the fucking best, Like they think that they're
- 17:46Speaker 4: doing everything right. So I mean, I could see a
- 17:48Speaker 4: world where maybe she does think that just Cody, you know,
- 17:53Speaker 4: sending them a text every once in a while or
- 17:55Speaker 4: seeing them once a year or whatever could be good enough,
- 17:58Speaker 4: because I've seen that in my own family, Like I
- 18:01Speaker 4: see that with people I know in my life that
- 18:03Speaker 4: think that that's enough effort, Like that's that's okay, that's
- 18:07Speaker 4: enough effort for our relationship to be okay. I'm not
- 18:10Speaker 4: saying I'm not justifying that, obviously, because we all know
- 18:14Speaker 4: that that's wrong and we all know that that's not
- 18:16Speaker 4: a way to conduct a healthy relationship. And I don't
- 18:19Speaker 4: even think it gives her an out. I just think
- 18:21Speaker 4: that because she's such a fucking narcissist and she's so
- 18:23Speaker 4: fucking delusional, she probably does think that she's done nothing wrong.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Or bent over backwards? Isn't that what she said? Yes
- 18:30Speaker 1: last week's episode, I bent over backwards to make sure
- 18:33Speaker 1: that Cody contacted his wives and stayed in touch with
- 18:35Speaker 1: his children.
- 18:35Speaker 4: I was being gas lit the whole entire time.
- 18:38Speaker 1: You think she believes that she bent over backwards, You
- 18:41Speaker 1: think I don't. I think I think she's just trying
- 18:43Speaker 1: to sell us a bill of goods as the audience,
- 18:46Speaker 1: so that we believe that she bent over backwards. I
- 18:48Speaker 1: think she knows that she did not. And now that
- 18:51Speaker 1: the family has been destroyed. Yeah, we have kids out
- 18:55Speaker 1: here and wives out here who feel like they've been
- 18:58Speaker 1: treated unfairly, what are you doing to make it right?
- 19:02Speaker 1: And if you've got kids out here saying you stole
- 19:05Speaker 1: from us, or wives who are saying you took from us,
- 19:07Speaker 1: what are you doing now to make it right? We
- 19:09Speaker 1: don't see any of that. So if she had that awareness,
- 19:12Speaker 1: and she really truly cared about this family, why wouldn't
- 19:15Speaker 1: she be taking necessary action now to fix it?
- 19:18Speaker 4: Because she's a nark and narks don't actually care. It's like,
- 19:21Speaker 4: that's why a lot of families go no contact, because
- 19:24Speaker 4: it's like, Okay, you're not gonna change, You're not gonna
- 19:26Speaker 4: make any effort, Like you can't even see the error
- 19:28Speaker 4: in your ways because you think everybody else is doing
- 19:30Speaker 4: you wrong, Like this is class a narcissism right here.
- 19:35Speaker 4: I mean, it's so ridiculous.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Okay, that's a little different from what Ali I think
- 19:39Speaker 1: is talking about. Ali is talking about somebody who's oblivious, underdeveloped,
- 19:45Speaker 1: just doesn't understand. Oh my god, you mean I contributed
- 19:48Speaker 1: to the downfall of this whole. No, absolutely not. No,
- 19:52Speaker 1: Now a narcissist. I can see how they would be
- 19:54Speaker 1: self deluding, although again I say, I think she's fully
- 19:58Speaker 1: aware of what.
- 19:59Speaker 4: She probably yeah, she probably is, but thank you Allie
- 20:02Speaker 4: put up a.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Pole to ask people whether they think that Robin is
- 20:06Speaker 1: doing this on purpose, which is all Instagram plan, yes,
- 20:09Speaker 1: you shoot on Instagram, or whether we think that she's
- 20:11Speaker 1: just like this unconscious person person it has no idea
- 20:15Speaker 1: how this happen. Lost my identity, bitch.
- 20:22Speaker 4: You still a YouTube pole too? Yeah, I won't, but
- 20:25Speaker 4: I know I'll forget, I know, bober All right, next
- 20:31Speaker 4: time we have is from Catherine.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Hello Raccoons. This is Catherine in California, and I have
- 20:39Speaker 5: a suspicion that the reason Mary was having her friends
- 20:42Speaker 5: talk about Cody for her was because she really felt
- 20:46Speaker 5: a threat about the land and she wanted to be
- 20:50Speaker 5: as careful as possible while still getting to share some
- 20:54Speaker 5: through her friends. And of course, as we see in
- 20:56Speaker 5: the later talking heads where she appears slimmer and time
- 21:00Speaker 5: had gone by, I think that she'd begun more of
- 21:03Speaker 5: her processing that all of this was really over, forever forever,
- 21:12Speaker 5: and that as long as their relationship had been delayed
- 21:15Speaker 5: with the divorce, she feels this land decision won't be
- 21:18Speaker 5: over soon enough for her to spill some things about
- 21:22Speaker 5: her past with Cody.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Forever, ever, forever. That's interesting and I think we did
- 21:28Speaker 1: opine something like this. Yeah, like that maybe she's being
- 21:32Speaker 1: a little bit more reserved but allowing her friends to
- 21:35Speaker 1: kind of take bites out of him because she still
- 21:38Speaker 1: has some stakes, whether that's financial or otherwise. Yeah, that
- 21:41Speaker 1: does make sense to me. And she did say in
- 21:44Speaker 1: the most recent interview with Entertainment Weekly that we talked
- 21:46Speaker 1: about I think last time, she said that the property
- 21:49Speaker 1: stuff is still being handled, still being worked through, so
- 21:53Speaker 1: it's not resolved. It'll probably be addressed in the next season. Yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 1: So that makes some to me that she might be
- 22:01Speaker 1: withholding her full on fire and vitriol for Cody and
- 22:05Speaker 1: Robin until that shit is taken care.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Of probably, Yeah, And I mean she can't hold back
- 22:10Speaker 4: all of her pettiness though, so that's why she's got
- 22:12Speaker 4: to have her friend's talk for her, which makes sense.
- 22:15Speaker 4: But also I'm just like, why don't you just go
- 22:18Speaker 4: balls to the wall, Like what can you do? I mean,
- 22:21Speaker 4: I don't think could they use it against you and
- 22:24Speaker 4: Core if you're like talking shit?
- 22:26Speaker 1: No, I mean that we're talking about property here, the
- 22:29Speaker 1: vision of property.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Absolutely not just let it out, Yeah, just be your
- 22:33Speaker 4: full authentic self.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yeah, But she's a bit of a coward. She is
- 22:37Speaker 1: a bit and she's a bit emotionally stunted.
- 22:39Speaker 7: Sorry.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I know that we have a lot of Mary stands,
- 22:40Speaker 1: but like she is not comfortable at least in these
- 22:43Speaker 1: various conversations with the randos she's bringing in. Yeah, episode
- 22:47Speaker 1: to episodes, she's not fully comfortable yet saying these things
- 22:50Speaker 1: out loud and or with her full chest. I do
- 22:53Speaker 1: hope we get there. I have a little bit of
- 22:55Speaker 1: hope that we might please. I do think it's in
- 22:58Speaker 1: her capricorn nature to be to do that. But like
- 23:01Speaker 1: she's just not she's processing, like this person loves her
- 23:04Speaker 1: name Katherine, Thank you Catherine. You know my mom's name
- 23:07Speaker 1: is Katherine and she was from California. Oh my god,
- 23:10Speaker 1: she's from southern California. I'm like, that's so sweet. So
- 23:13Speaker 1: I like that name. Yeah, it's a.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Pretty it is, all right. Next one we have is
- 23:17Speaker 4: from Jen.
- 23:20Speaker 9: I will without hey, ladies. Jen here a raccoon from
- 23:23Speaker 9: podaf New Hampshire. Love the show. Keep doing what you're doing,
- 23:27Speaker 9: like you, ladies. I also have many opinions, especially when
- 23:30Speaker 9: it comes to the dumpster fire that is Sister Wives.
- 23:34Speaker 9: So we've heard a lot of things about Mary in
- 23:37Speaker 9: regards to her relationships within the family. You know, people
- 23:40Speaker 9: have made comments about her being mean and abusive, and
- 23:44Speaker 9: I just wonder if that stems from her feelings around
- 23:47Speaker 9: not being able to have multiple children like the other wives,
- 23:51Speaker 9: and it has caused her to essentially be resentful, not
- 23:54Speaker 9: just towards the other wives, but towards the other children
- 23:57Speaker 9: as well. You know, we've seen her have a totally
- 24:00Speaker 9: different relationship with Robin's kids, who are not biologically Cody's kids,
- 24:07Speaker 9: and then with salin Aari. You know, we've all seen
- 24:10Speaker 9: Cody make it very clear that when Robin came into
- 24:13Speaker 9: the family, his relationships with the other wives were solely
- 24:17Speaker 9: dependent on how they treated Robin, and I think Mary
- 24:20Speaker 9: just dove all into relationship with Robin as a means
- 24:23Speaker 9: of gaining favor with Cody, and their kids together were
- 24:26Speaker 9: just sort of an extension of that. Anyway, just my thoughts,
- 24:30Speaker 9: Not sure what your opinions are and all of that.
- 24:32Speaker 4: I mean, I could see it. I could see her
- 24:34Speaker 4: being resentful and projecting that onto the other kids because
- 24:37Speaker 4: she could only have one, and Mary's kind of a passive, aggressive,
- 24:42Speaker 4: slash aggressive person, so I mean I could see that
- 24:46Speaker 4: her taking that out on the relationships with the other
- 24:49Speaker 4: kids and the family with Cody and Robin's kids. I mean, yeah,
- 24:54Speaker 4: I could see her trying to get in their good
- 24:56Speaker 4: graces just so she could get into Cody's pants. I
- 24:59Speaker 4: can totally see.
- 25:00Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 25:01Speaker 1: I'm not sure if I'm feeling that what Mary was
- 25:05Speaker 1: doing with the kids with potentially allegedly overdisciplining them was
- 25:11Speaker 1: born of resentment. I think, if anything, it might have
- 25:15Speaker 1: been an overcompensation, like wanting to be a parent, like
- 25:19Speaker 1: wanting to do what parents do, like we discipline our
- 25:22Speaker 1: kids and this is how parents act, and maybe wanting
- 25:25Speaker 1: to show up so badly as a parent that she
- 25:28Speaker 1: showed up kind of in a wrong way, and or
- 25:32Speaker 1: she's just one of a like a lot of us,
- 25:34Speaker 1: who came up in a very toxic, potentially abusive household,
- 25:37Speaker 1: and she did not know how to become a parent
- 25:39Speaker 1: or be a parent, so she didn't know what she
- 25:41Speaker 1: was doing. I don't know. And also I don't want
- 25:44Speaker 1: to diminish the experiences of the kids who experienced her
- 25:48Speaker 1: in a specific way as abusive and potentially allegedly putting
- 25:51Speaker 1: her hands on some of them and yelling at them.
- 25:55Speaker 1: We saw a couple of glimpses so far, we're still
- 25:58Speaker 1: going through the archives of Sister Wives. We've seen her
- 26:01Speaker 1: talk to mckelte in a very kind of dismissive, condescending,
- 26:06Speaker 1: and even humiliating tone, not necessarily overtly with words, but
- 26:10Speaker 1: like you could say, okay, well the cameras are down.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I can see her putting mckelt down, and mckoulty has
- 26:16Speaker 1: certainly alluded to that. And that's just character shit to me.
- 26:20Speaker 1: That's just like not knowing how to be a parent
- 26:22Speaker 1: and also not doing anything as an adult to ensure
- 26:25Speaker 1: that you're a better parent to children. So she didn't
- 26:28Speaker 1: know how to do it, and maybe she was just
- 26:31Speaker 1: wired that way and or compensating because she only had
- 26:35Speaker 1: that one kid.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe taking out her unhappiness with her marriage with
- 26:40Speaker 4: Cody and unhappiness with plural marriage and these other wives
- 26:44Speaker 4: who are fucking her husband left and right and having
- 26:47Speaker 4: all these kids and she can't have only but one.
- 26:50Speaker 4: You know, like, maybe it's just taking it out on
- 26:52Speaker 4: everybody else because she's so angry. And Mary can't express
- 26:56Speaker 4: that anger or any emotion healthily. I mean, everything's always
- 27:00Speaker 4: walls up. Yeah, maybe that's why she has walls up too.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Maybe she realized that she was being abusive and toxic
- 27:06Speaker 4: and bad, and she puts everything behind a wall. Now
- 27:10Speaker 4: now we have emotionless Mary because she can't figure out
- 27:13Speaker 4: how to deal with her shit.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Right, Maybe that's her way of trying to moderate her
- 27:18Speaker 1: behavior because she knows that it's not necessarily healthy, and
- 27:22Speaker 1: so it's better to just not emote and or not express,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and so instead she just kind of tucks it away.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I'm really not sure. I would just
- 27:33Speaker 1: love to hear them speak about this more. And I
- 27:35Speaker 1: know Peyden said in that one interview he did with
- 27:39Speaker 1: that guy John Yates, I forget what his name is,
- 27:43Speaker 1: but that interview that he did last season, he said,
- 27:46Speaker 1: when the show is over, I will talk more about
- 27:49Speaker 1: Mary and specific I will talk more about all of
- 27:51Speaker 1: these things, and so the kids will feel more comfortable,
- 27:54Speaker 1: apparently when the money's gone. Yeah, to sort of step
- 27:58Speaker 1: up and say something. Wow, though, Peyden, I think it
- 28:00Speaker 1: would be so much more interesting if you did it. Now,
- 28:03Speaker 1: are you even being paid by TLC?
- 28:04Speaker 4: Now?
- 28:05Speaker 1: Are you being paid by your family? Maybe they're starting
- 28:07Speaker 1: to pay him maybe now he has an incentive to
- 28:10Speaker 1: wait until the show's over. But like, let's be talk,
- 28:12Speaker 1: let's be let's out abusers.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Now, I know, right, Like, why do we have to wait,
- 28:16Speaker 4: let's talk about that in the family. Why are we
- 28:18Speaker 4: making them comfortable?
- 28:19Speaker 1: I don't I don't know.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to cut you know.
- 28:22Speaker 1: You're absolutely right. Yeah, this is the kind of thing
- 28:24Speaker 1: like that I would want to be getting at if
- 28:26Speaker 1: I was a producer of a show, Like if I
- 28:28Speaker 1: had kids that felt that they were abused by one
- 28:29Speaker 1: of the primary members of the show, I would want
- 28:32Speaker 1: to have those conversations. But they're just covering up for
- 28:34Speaker 1: all of these people who are potentially allegedly abusers. I'm
- 28:38Speaker 1: not saying Mary was. Yeah, I don't even know really
- 28:41Speaker 1: what happened, but maybe more conversations around that would be good.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Yeah, but we can never get anything real with the
- 28:47Speaker 4: Brown family.
- 28:48Speaker 1: No, so slippery yep yep.
- 28:50Speaker 4: All right, Well we have one more huh and it's
- 28:53Speaker 4: from an anonymous records.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Always scare me because I never know if like somebody's
- 28:58Speaker 1: gonna come for.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Us, I know, or like say some bad All right, let's.
- 29:03Speaker 10: Hear its messages for D. I want to know more
- 29:08Speaker 10: about that fat cat. Hm, my name is Cornelius. You'll
- 29:14Speaker 10: be hearing from me again, but tell me about it.
- 29:20Speaker 1: That is my husband.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Well, you're more about that fat dude again again.
- 29:28Speaker 1: That is my husband.
- 29:30Speaker 10: It's messages for D. I want to know more about
- 29:34Speaker 10: that fat cat.
- 29:36Speaker 9: Mm hmm.
- 29:37Speaker 10: My name is Cornelius. You'll be hearing from me again,
- 29:42Speaker 10: but tell me about it.
- 29:44Speaker 4: We had to explain to him over Christmas what fat
- 29:48Speaker 4: cat meant.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Yeah, well you address some of my presents.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Yes, I wrapped up for him, so I put the
- 29:55Speaker 4: fat cat from Big Papa and he's like, what's fat cat?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, Papa's feeling sexy tonight. We gotta be
- 30:03Speaker 1: shutting this down. I got something to do. Apparently I
- 30:08Speaker 1: got something to do tonight, Cornelia.
- 30:12Speaker 4: My god, you gotta call him that in the bedroom, Cornelia.
- 30:15Speaker 1: But how did you figure out how to call us
- 30:17Speaker 1: on speak? But that's a creative man. Everybody's so creative. Yes,
- 30:24Speaker 1: oh my god, that caught me off birds that voice
- 30:28Speaker 1: right there. Wow, I guess that's where we will leave this.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I gotta go now.
- 30:34Speaker 1: But by the way, if you want to call in
- 30:37Speaker 1: and sound off, preferably not about my fat cat or
- 30:41Speaker 1: her razor blade. But if you want to call in
- 30:43Speaker 1: and ask questions or leave a comment, all you have
- 30:45Speaker 1: to do is go to speakpipe dot com, slash Reality TV, CRNE.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You have ninety seconds. It's perfectly free, and we love
- 30:52Speaker 1: to hear from you. So, Beatrice, is there anything else
- 30:56Speaker 1: that we need to say before we get up on
- 30:58Speaker 1: out of here?
- 31:00Speaker 4: If you love our podcast, I sure hope and plead
- 31:03Speaker 4: to the Mormon God on kolab that you go to
- 31:06Speaker 4: your favorite podcast platform and leave us a glowing five
- 31:08Speaker 4: star review. Really helps us grow the pods so more
- 31:11Speaker 4: people can see us and we get recommended in the algorithm,
- 31:14Speaker 4: So we really appreciate it.
- 31:15Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Sorry, I can't get over this.
- 31:17Speaker 4: What the fat cat?
- 31:21Speaker 1: Oh my god. We will be back next week to
- 31:24Speaker 1: talk more sister wives with you, and until then, please
- 31:28Speaker 1: do not forget that we have nothing but love for you.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Happy New Year. We are so grateful for you, and
- 31:34Speaker 1: we hope that everybody has a wonderful new Year. And
- 31:36Speaker 1: all that I got gustle stuff to do. So until then,
- 31:41Speaker 1: Peace night, my gods.
