- 0:15SPEAKER_01: Welcome back, ballers.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: It's your boy MJ coming at you with the second episode of the season Sports Minds pre-draft rankings.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: It's your boy here coming at you, Joe.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: How the hell are you doing today, brother?
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Doing very well.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: We're just going to touch on tight ends today, keeping it at 15 because honestly, after 15, it doesn't really matter.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: 16 to 25, that's on you.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: We could barely figure out the top 15 because it's Slim Pickens out there tight end.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Inconsistent as always.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you just go for the waiver wire of the week at that point, spot starts.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: Anyways, uh, before we get into that, a word from our sponsors.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Hey there.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: My name is Manny James Gonzalez with PRB, and I'm a real estate agent here in Central Florida.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: I'm a U.S.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Navy veteran, military relocation pro, and big supporter of 2A and veterans' rights.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: My specialty is VA transactions, most experience in all parts of real estate.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: I've been living in Florida for over 20 years, and I can tell you we still believe in freedom down here.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: One of the greatest job markets, excellent economy, and no state income tax.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: When it comes to an agent, you want one that's gonna be honest, not afraid of a fight, and most importantly, willing to do the things that some agents aren't willing to do.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: And what's that, Manny?
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: Two straight bands.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: I'm Manny James Gonzalez buying land for the free and home for the brave.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Welcome back, ballers.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Now let's kick things off at tight end number one.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: For me, I know the consensus has Brock Bowers at number one, but I believe Trey McBride will be the top dog this year.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: He finished last season with just one fewer catch than Brock, but he also played one less game.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Uh the Cardinals, I believe, will find the end zone more often than the Raiders.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And the glaring statistic to me that must improve for Trey McBride is touchdowns.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: He only had two touchdowns in 2024, and there's no question that number will increase, but we need to pump those numbers up big time because for a guy like Trey McBride, on a a really, in my opinion, really good football team, you know, that that could easily be double digits this year.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: So I believe he's gonna make a big step forward and will finish as the number one.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: And I I totally agree with you, Joe.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: There is a consensus with Brock Bowers.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Um I unfortunately also believe that Trey McBride will be the best tight end this year.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: I mean, because it does boil down to like all those factors, including target share, right?
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: I mean, uh Trey McBride uh had a 147 targets last year, and and Brock Bowers had 153 targets.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: Now, the funny thing is, Trey McBride played one last game and he still has a better uh touches per game average at 9.2 than Brock Bowers.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: So for me, obviously, you know, he's coming back to an offense with familiarity.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: Uh obviously a good wide receiver at Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: to take some uh some double teams over there or some attention.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Um, and uh that's why I think he's gonna be number one.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: He keeps getting a third of that workload, he'll be just fine.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I think, you know, despite his struggles last year with finding the end zone, Cardinals are a good team.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: They'll make it happen this year.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: I'm very surprised he finished with two last year.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Who do you have at number two, Manny?
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: Um, number two, Brock Bowers, right?
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: You can't, you know, one A, one and one B.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: So uh Brock Bowers, we just touched up on him a little bit.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: He had 153 targets last year, averaged nine uh targets per game.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: So that's actually really good.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Uh he also scored over 250 fantasy points last year, PPR format.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: So um I do think, as I said, uh he has a little bit less of an edge because his wide receiver room is very thin, not really a lot of uh much talent over there.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: So that's why I expect him to just have a little bit of a drop off, but he'll still be one of those top tight ends in the first two rounds.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Most definitely, and he is my number two as well.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Uh, I know you were really high on him going into last season, but I didn't even have him my top 10.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Uh, and he finished as a number one, you know, with 112 receptions and uh nearly 1,200 yards.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: So, you know, the thing is we were talking about touchdowns.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: He did have five touchdowns last last year, and I believe the addition of Gino could easily turn that into 10.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, Brock was dominant, he's gonna continue his dominance at the position, but the overall offense is why I have him slightly behind McBride.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: Now at the number three spot, I have George Kittle.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: Kittle's injury history has always made me hesitant to draft him, and I regret that every year.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: The man is a machine, and missing a game here or there, it doesn't hold a lot of weight when you look at his stats.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Last season he scored eight touchdowns and averaged almost 16 fantasy points per game.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: It was his best finish since 2018, and with Debo gone and Ayuk sidelined for half the season, I expect Kittle to be heavily involved in every game.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: So I'm very high on him this year.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Most of the time I'll put him at like the five or six spot, but I'm confidently putting him at the number three spot.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, Kittle's a uh workhorse for sure.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Um, I, however, have a different number three.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: Uh for the number three, I actually have Travis Kelsey coming back for another uh what could be his farewell season, right?
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: He's kind of getting close to hanging it up.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: But last year he played 16 games and had close to 200 fantasy points total.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Obviously, he had a couple uh bad games there, but some really good ones.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: And he ended up and uh he was only tight end to even come close to uh McBride or Bowers and type of uh target share because he was at about 8.3 targets per game, and uh obviously coming back uh with Rasheed Rice sidelined for a couple of games suspension, uh, expect Travis Kelsey to pick up on those games and give you a nice boost.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: Is that official with Rasheed Rice?
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: Uh he pled guilty to uh the charge.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: So now it's gonna go down to the NFL.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: Um, how fast they plan on reprimanding him and how much the penalty is gonna be.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: It'd be nice if they gave him Alvin Kamara treatment and just push that to next year.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean that for Alvin Kamara, like he's been, I'm sure he got lawyers and stuff like that involved, right?
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: Like players, union representatives.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: So um, but uh unfortunately I I think for his, because his was a more violent crime, he there they have to make swift with their punishment, right?
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: Because they have to make an example.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Um because look good.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Every every year that they're gonna be a little more strict about it, definitely.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: Now at number four, I have TJ Hawkinson.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: He was a little inconsistent last year, but he was recovering from a torn ACL and missed the first two months of the season.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: We all know what he can do.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: He averaged double-digit fantasy points every season from 2020 to 2023.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: And if he had a full season last year, I'm sure he would have hit double digits again.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: I really like the Vikings offense and expect him to be a focal point.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: So I I'm I've always been a big fan of TJ Hawkinson.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, he's always on a team where the quarterback will just feed him, and I expect that to be the same um in 2025 and inside the top five at the number four spot, TJ Hawkinson.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: I hear that.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: Um definitely like TJ.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: He's he's a great, great tight end, very, very tight.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Um, my number four, I do have George Kittle.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: So obviously, one only went spot back from you.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: Obviously, you mentioned his uh he is limited.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: He only missed uh two games last year, but obviously when he did play, like you said, he was explosive, averaging 15 points per game.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: Uh, and surprisingly, he was uh one of three tight ends last year to finish with over a thousand receiving yards for the season.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: So that tells you he, you know, despite playing 15 games, he still had uh a lot of yards.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and and obviously he'll continue that this year.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: At number five, I have Sam Laporta.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: Laporta was inconsistent last year, and it was a big disappointment after his awesome rookie season.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: It could be due to John Morton replacing Ben Johnson as the offensive coordinator, but Detroit has an amazing offense, and I will think I do think they will find a way to keep him involved.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: I thought I kept saying that every week last year, and eventually they did, but damn, it was frustrating.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: It took a while.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: The overall numbers for Laporta last year don't reflect how frustrating it was to have him on your fantasy team, but he's a serious talent, and I still have very high expectations for 2025, basically for everyone on that team.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: So I'm looking at Laporta more in line with his rookie season than last year.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: I hear that.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: And that that segue is perfectly for me because I I have him also at number five.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: Um, he was averaging uh only 11 points a game last year, and like you said, early on, there was a lot of uh dud games.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Um one thing that I you know that I will say, there is a benefit of Ben Johnson leaving because after obviously so many years of trying to you know make trick plays and all this, Ben Johnson got to the point that he didn't care to use his stars, he was using them all as decoys, right?
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: So I I think that's what one of the things that was changing in that offense.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: So with this new offensive coordinator, hopefully they recognize hey, Laporta should be the guy getting fed after Amon Ra, right?
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: It shouldn't be Jameson, you know, like he's he'll get a bomb here and there, but that's that's the guy that they need to be feeding the ball to if they want to uh win more ball games.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: So um I strongly agree about number five.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: And uh why don't you just go right into number six?
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: You got a number six.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Um number six, I I have your boy Hawkinson.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: Like you said, he missed he missed seven games last year, right?
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: First two two months, uh two and a half months.
- 11:11SPEAKER_01: Um he still came in, got a decent target share.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: He was getting about 6.2 looks a game, you know, so that's not bad.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: He was getting six targets when he came back on average.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: Um, and you know, I think with the full year being healthy, he he did have a strong season before he got hurt last uh the year before.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: So, you know, uh I do expect him to get back into shape as well.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Most definitely agree with all that.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: For my number six, I have David Njoku.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Uh he was a beast over the second half of the season.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: And over the last three games, he had 40 targets for 160 yards and three touchdowns.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: But he was very consistent before that, too.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: And he was banged up early in 2024, but averaged nine targets and 13 and a half fantasy points per game over the 11 games he played.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: He is a physical specimen, and it's a shame he's stuck on the Cleveland Browns because he could probably be one of the best tight ends in the league on another team.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: Um, the Browns are the sole reason he's outside of my top five, but I do love Flacco, who we're pretty sure is gonna be the quarterback there, and it would fun, it would be really fun to see the team do well.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: It's just doubtful.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: So that's why he's outside of my top five.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: So for number seven, I've got Evan Ingram.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: I love Ingram this year.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: I think Bo Nix is gonna have a fantastic season, and I believe Ingram will be a big part of that.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Uh, he's been very successful throughout his entire career.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: And if he can stay healthy and find the end zone, he could easily sleep uh sneak into the top five.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely, definitely.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Um now for my number seven, I actually have uh someone that a lot of these experts for some reason had him outside of the top ten.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: Um, but Tucker Krafts coming in at number seven for me, my friend.
- 13:09SPEAKER_01: Um, and the numbers kind of show you what kind of workload he's had.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: So last year he had a total of uh excuse me, he had a total of 70 targets, and he ended up finishing uh with 4.1 targets per game, which doesn't sound like a lot, but I feel like in Green Bay, there's a lot of mouse to feed, and there were games where they weren't feeding Tucker Kraft right early on.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then if you look at his stats for the second half of the seasons where he really started uh taking off, right?
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: He was getting seven targets, uh, you know, five targets, two, four.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: So he had some games where he was really going off and catching a clutch touchdown.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: So uh I think Green Bay finally realizes that he's the best tight end, other than the other guy they drafted before him.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: And uh that's why I have him sneaking in at number seven, Tucker Kraft.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Those are good points, and I agree.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: He had he's another one with a little slow start inconsistency, but solid athlete.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: Now, number eight, I didn't forget about him.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: I got Travis Kelsey.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: He's durable, he's reliable, but despite making it to the Super Bowl last year, the entire offense for Kansas City was pretty bad.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: I mean, compared to what you're expecting.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Their defense carried them through the entire season.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: And last year was Kelsey's worst performance over his 11-year career, finishing with his lowage his lowest yardage, which was which was still 823 yards.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's really impressive for a tight end.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it was his lowest, but it was still over 800 yards.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: Uh, but it was also his lowest number of touchdowns at three.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: It's very possible he bounces back.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: I expect him to have a better performance in 2025 than last year.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: But I knew he lost a step before the 2024 season.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: I I mentioned it all through preseason, and I don't see that part of his game improving going into 2025.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: He's gonna be a little slower, uh, but he's big, durable, reliable, great pass catcher.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: He's Travis Kelsey.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: So 800, 900 yards and five to six, five to six touchdowns is a completely reasonable expectation.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: I hear that.
- 15:28SPEAKER_01: Um now for my number eight, I actually have uh uh Mr.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: Dalton Kincaid coming in uh in my top 10.
- 15:37SPEAKER_01: So last year he only played uh 13 games, so he was out for a few, um, but he still had uh you know uh around 75 targets, which you know was actually in the uh top 10 for target range for a tight end.
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: So he ended up finishing with about 5.8 touches per game.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: So basically, if you look at it from a tight end perspective, he's getting six looks a game.
- 16:01SPEAKER_01: But yeah, they don't really have a number one, so I feel like Dalton Kincaid maybe could get on a little bit better track with Josh Allen and be one of his top two or three targets.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: I I was going back and forth about putting him.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: He just to be clear, he's not in my top 15.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: I'm giving him the Nojoku treatment that you gave me.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: But here's the thing I get it.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: Uh he's shown his potential.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Um, that's what you know, the Bills are kind of a weird team where they are just really, really good on offense, no matter who's playing, you know, and I I kind of default to Josh Allen for that.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: But the thing is with Dalton Kincaid, he is on an incredible offense.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: It's just that team seems to spread the ball around a lot.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: Like you said, they don't really have a number one receiver.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: You've got Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir as probably the one and two, but um, who's the number one out of those two?
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Well, that remains to be seen.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Um, but yeah, Dalton Kinkade could become more involved.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: I I'm hesitant to put him in my top 15 because you know he he's shown really, really uh promising potential, but it's just like he can't quite get there, and I can't explain why.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: But the Bills are high-powered offense, so yes, he could be a top 10 tight end.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: We'll see.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: Um, but for number nine, for me, I have Mike Gasicki.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: I've always liked Kasiki, but I really like him on the Bengals with a healthy Joe Burrow.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: I was interested to see what he could do last year, but with Burrow banged up for most of the season, they didn't really get a chance to establish a strong rapport.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: You know, he's brand new to the team, he's getting adjusted, and Burrow wasn't there.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: If they can find a good rhythm, he's gonna be a nice outlet for Burrow throughout the entire season.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: They are one of the best offenses in the NFL, and their defense is absolutely terrible.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: So there will be plenty of targets for everyone on the offense to keep the games competitive.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: You know, and that's funny you mentioned that.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: I was laughing because uh I actually put Mike Geseck in my top ten as well.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: He is number nine.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: No shit.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: All right, yeah, and then uh I was looking at uh ESPN and everything like that.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: They have him at number 23, right?
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: I'm sure all these other experts are on the same page, but Mike Geseckki, like you were mentioning, had some uh strong games last year with Joe Burrow.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: Um, some of the games just to kind of give you an idea.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: He had a game where he had uh uh 10 receptions on 12 targets for 86 yards.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: He had another one where he had eight receptions on 10 targets for 68 yards, and then he had another one four four receptions on nine targets uh for 30 yards, and uh he was consistently like when uh T Higgins was injured or Joe Burrow was down a receiver, he was consistently their third uh third best option, and uh Cincinnati also felt that way because they handed him like a three-year,$50 million contract as well.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: So, from what I see here, I think that's he's gonna have a little bit more of a target share this year as well with Burrow and as his security blanket.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: Yes, I agree with all that.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: When obviously not when it's not Jamar Chase, of course.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: Yes, of course.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, who do you have at number 10?
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: Um, for my number 10, I have Evan Ingram.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: Uh, I also like Ingram a lot, like much like yourself, obviously a few spots back.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: Um I I like what he brings.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, he didn't play a lot last year.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: He played nine games, right?
- 19:40SPEAKER_01: So that means he missed eight games last year.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: But here's here's something crazy.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: He he still had uh 64 targets in just nine games.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: So if you break that down, he's getting 7.1 looks per game, like 7.1 targets uh when he was in, right?
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: You remember Jacksonville was kind of peppering him with that.
- 20:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, hell yeah.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: I actually really like Evan Ingram's fit and Sean Payton him because we all remember Jimmy Graham, right?
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, he had some good days and stuff like that.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: So um uh traditionally, Sean Payton loves his tight ends.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: So um I expect Evan Ingram to be a really nice fit.
- 20:19SPEAKER_01: He should be a little bit slow out of the gates, uh, but obviously with him being healthy, you're gonna get a really good uh uh I'd say like maybe their second best option in Denver.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: I can easily see that happening, yes.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Um probably third, but it he could be second.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Now at number 10 for me, I got a guy that's probably not in your top 15, Kate Otten.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: He has been more involved every season.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: If you look at his stats, they've improved every season, and I think he's gonna break out in his fourth year with Tampa Bay.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: In the absence of Godwin and Evans last year, Auton performed better than any other wide receivers for a month straight.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: From week seven to week 10, he had 39 targets, 293 yards, and three touchdowns.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Obviously, Evans and Godwin are Baker's favorite pass catchers, but I'm sure the Buccaneers took notice and they see the potential in Kate Otten and will utilize him more in 2025.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: You know, uh something funny.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: I actually have Kate Otten as my last uh tight end on out of the top 25.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: So here's why, here's why.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: So here's uh devil's advocate, opposite opinion.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: So I know uh I totally hear you.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: He had a really good stretch near the end of the season.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: My problem is Tampa Bay just drafted uh the rookie at Buka from Ohio State, right?
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: And so now they have Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, uh the rookie high shot of Ohio State's there.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: And I'm pretty sure they have someone else coming back from injury as well.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: That was pretty uh actually no, sorry, Jalen McKinley McLain.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Fully healthy, and he had a great season last year as a rookie.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: So there are a lot of mouths to feed.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: I know Kate Otten's gonna get a few uh a few pretty good games there, but for me, I I don't want to put a tight end so high that I'm probably only looking at three or four targets a game because it really will be boom or bust uh for anybody outside of a certain point for the rankings.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: One thing though is just to push back a little bit, and those are all valid points.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: You know, Jalen McMillan actually had a really good year.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: He was kind of flying under the radar, but he was a producer, and obviously the new wide receiver um from Ohio State, he's a beast too.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Um it's just that Tampa Bay throws the ball a lot, you know.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: I mean even their run game is based off the throw.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: You know, they're just gonna dish the ball to Rashad White and Bucky Irving, they are pass catchers just as much as their running backs, so yeah, there are a lot of mouths to feed.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: Um I just feel like there will be enough volume all around that Kate Otten's gonna be a beast this year.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: I mean, not a super beast, but a consistent beast, not as hit or miss.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: At number 11, I have Mark Andrews.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: If I had to bet on one Ravens tight end this year, it would be Andrews.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: I feel like there's a little too much hype behind Likely without the stats to back it up.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: Andrews and likely are both in a contract year and would be playing uh for a lot this season.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure Andrews is eager to get back on the field after that potential game-winning touchdown drop in the playoffs.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: So he's gonna come out hungry for a couple different reasons.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: You know, he had a slow start last year, but if you look at the finish, it was pretty impressive.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: And I'm a lot, I'm sure a lot of people are gonna say, well, he's touchdown dependent.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's pretty much true.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: But Lamar Jackson's favorite red zone target is probably Mark Andrews, and he's gonna score touchdowns.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: So last year he didn't score a touchdown in the first five weeks of the season, but he scored 11 touchdowns over the last 12 weeks.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: So that was enough for me to say, all right, you know what?
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: I think he's still the guy over there, and likely likely's a great player, but like I don't think he's quite there yet.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: And I I really don't understand all the hype behind him when I see what Andrews did.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I'm a big fan of Andrews too.
- 24:31SPEAKER_01: Um, also like uh likely.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: I don't think I'll be touching on likely today, but I I think the problem with likely, um, Ravens were trying to run these, you know, wide receiver sets where they're trying to spread the field with um what's what's his face, Nelson Aguilar, and then they were running with uh uh Rashad Bateman, right?
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: Yes and those two are really great receivers.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: Obviously, the uh the the good receiver they do have is um Flowers.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like he's the only one that's legitimate.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: Obviously, like you mentioned, Mark Andrews is a goal line guy, but uh you know, likely I think if they put him as as like a big receiver, I think he'll get a lot more uh consistency out of the guy.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: Um but not to get totally off track here.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: So for my number 11, I actually have David Najoku.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: I know you had him a couple spots up.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: I like him.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, he had a 97 targets last year.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: Like, what's not to like about that?
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's that's amazing for a tight end.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: I just, you know, with Joe Flacco and maybe Deshaun Watson forcing his way into the starter job when he's healthy, right?
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: And then Shador Sanders actually like possibly doing good or the other rookie.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: It's just it's just a carousel of I don't know what's gonna happen.
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: And although I know the Joku's a great tight end, I have him outside my top 10 just because I feel like uh it's gonna be hard for him to build chemistry if they have a lot of quarterback changes over there in Cleveland.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: That does make sense, and it's it's likely that's going to happen.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Now, at number 12, I have Tucker Kraft.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: Just echo some of the things you said.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: Uh a lot of people were convinced his breakout year was gonna be last year, and he looked pretty good, but I believe this year could be the breakout if Jordan Love gets back to true form because he was off last year.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: Uh Tucker finished with seven touchdowns and over 700 yards, which is a big step up from his rookie season.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: And Green Bay should be a solid team if he develops a strong rapport with Jordan Love, he will be peppered with targets.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: I know the Packers like to spread the ball around, but Tucker Kraft is a reliable safety valve and he will get volume.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: And uh that was your number 12, right?
- 26:51SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: Okay, okay.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: Now for my number 12, um, I actually have Mark Andrews right a couple spots back.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: I love Andrews, and that's kind of um maybe what I was going on that little tangent about Isaiah Likely.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: I think that Isaiah Lightly gets a little bit more of a workload this year upgrade.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: Say like maybe a couple extra packages in there.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: So we could possibly see him get additional targets and no detriment to Mark Andrews, but obviously with 11 touchdowns, I don't think he's gonna touch, he'll probably touch half of that this year, six, seven touchdowns, because uh obviously that's not gonna, you know, 11 touchdowns for a tight end is pretty pretty ridiculous, right?
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: No one even came close.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: There's nobody else in double digits last year for any other tight ends, especially based on the targets he was getting, you know.
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and Kittle was killing it.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: He had eight, you know, like and also Jr.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: Smith, right?
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: He had eight, but all in the very end.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: So uh for me, that's why I have him slightly back, but still, if I'm I'm targeting him Tibley in like the 10th round, you know, that's uh where his eighth, you know, his average draft position is like around you know, 11th round, maybe the 12th, right?
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: So always get him one or two rounds early, guys.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: So if you're getting Andrews, these tight ends we just talked about, you should be shooting for them around uh 10th round of your draft.
- 28:12SPEAKER_00: And just to touch on that, if there's a player you really do want and you're very confident about, don't look at their ADP as intensely as other guys that you're not as concerned about.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: If there's a player you really want, take them around early if you have to.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: If you believe in their skill and what they're gonna do this year, just take them.
- 28:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that is true.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: Because I mean, like last year, Brock Bowers, he was like the seventh, eighth tight end off the board, and I was always saying he was he was a stud, right?
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: So if you pick your guy early, may not be a reach, it's not a reach if you hit on it, you know.
- 28:47SPEAKER_01: So uh definitely good advice there.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Now at number 13, I have Zach Ertz.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: If you've had 13 seasons in the NFL, you're gonna have some injuries along the way.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: Ertz only played half the season in 2022 and 2023, but he played every game last year and reminded everyone that he's still a legend on the football field.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: And he's playing at the highest level.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: Jaden Daniels has good rapport with Zach Ertz, and that should continue into 2025.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: If the contract doesn't get sorted out with Terry McLaurin, which I think it will, but let's just say it doesn't, Ertz will take on an even bigger target share, and he's in a great position either way on a good team and could easily find his way in the top 10.
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he he was very solid last year, and don't forget Super Bowl champion Zach Ertz.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: That's right, because he had a uh a game-winning touchdown, too, for the Super Bowl is pretty amazing.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: I love it, or the go-ahead touchdown, excuse me.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: Not game winning, but go ahead.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, uh, I don't have him in my top 10.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: Love you, Ertz, but you know.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Hey, I get it.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: It's tough around this area, you know, they're interchangeable.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: You know, between 10 and 20, they're they're interchangeable.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: And that's what I was gonna say.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: Like when you start getting into these later rounds, you're not you're not drafting guys to um you know win your leagues.
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: You're just going for solid uh production tight ends, right?
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: If your guys getting you 10 points a game consistently, that's a a good tight end.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: All day, yeah, like that's what you want, and you can get those guys anywhere from rounds 10 to 14, right?
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: Like some of these guys we're talking about here, their ADP is not going into at least you know the the 11th or 12th round.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: So if you're shooting for a round 10 to get yourself a solid tight end, hey, you know, uh it's not a bad strategy to take advantage of.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: Some of these guys could even be on the waiver wire in your league.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: You never know.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's true.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: Now for my number 13, I have another rookie.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: Um, not the one that people expect to go up.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: Um, I actually think that uh Mason Taylor from the New York Jets is gonna have a great season.
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: That's why I have him as my number 13.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: Um, so the reason being obviously uh Justin Fields, a quarterback over there.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: He needs a he needs a target, right?
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: And this guy was drafted in the second round by the Jets.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: Mason Taylor is a big, strong tight end, good, good hands, right?
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: He's gonna be in a uh uh you know uh uh a solid offense, right?
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: New offense, but he gets to be the focal point as far as why uh after Garrett Wilson.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: So I can see him uh really getting peppered with targets.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: But obviously, like I said, if you're getting 10 10 points a game from your tight end, you're happy, right?
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: And with guys like this, you're gonna have games where they really blow up and really uh you know make you feel even better about them.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: You know, it's funny, you described the Jets as a solid offense.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: You said you know he's on a good offense.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: I agree with that.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: I have no idea like what their projected win total is this year, but just looking at the players, I agree with that.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: I think they're gonna be a good offense, yeah.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, bro.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: Justin Fields is an upgrade over Aaron Rodgers, for sure.
- 32:05SPEAKER_01: And and then obviously, like they have Brees Hall, right?
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: Braille and Allen if Brees Hall gets hurt, but Brees Hall is finally gonna be healthy first time in like a year and a half.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and last year he had a decent year.
- 32:18SPEAKER_01: He just didn't get a lot of touches, like the Jets were fucking playing stupid.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they were being the Jets, you know.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: They're like, hey, you're the biggest player.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: You were our best player on our team.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: Let's go ahead and give the ball to somebody else.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: Then you can't touch you, you're too good.
- 32:35SPEAKER_01: We gotta let the other guys get better here, okay?
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: That that is their biggest problem, being the Jets, but hopefully they can get past that this year.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so yeah, I have them getting past that.
- 32:45SPEAKER_01: Lucky number 13, Mason Taylor.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: He's my little sleeper about Brock Bowers last year for tight end.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: I don't know much about him, but um, I was just looking at him earlier today when I was going over my rankings.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: Now at 14, I have John Who Smith.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: As we know, he's uh on the Pittsburgh Steelers now, and as a Steelers fan, I like it, but I really don't know what to expect from him or Aaron Rodgers.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Uh with that said, they're both very capable football players, and if they can get in sync, John U could easily crack the top 10.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: A lot of uh experts are fading John Wu, and I get it, I really do.
- 33:26SPEAKER_00: But people didn't expect much from him last year either.
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: Uh he was on waivers for the first six weeks in most leagues, and you know, I don't see any reason why not like, hey, pick him up as a late round sleeper, just put them on your bench and see what happens.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: So that's what I'm gonna do.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna grab him and just stash them as like probably my last pick.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: And if he develops some kind of rapport with Aaron Rodgers, you know, they could light it up.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: You know, um, I I love that you're saying that too, and that's something that people are concerned about.
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: Listen, over there, number one target we all know is gonna be DK Metcalf, right?
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: He just got over there, he's the big dick on the block.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: So that means that the the next guys are gonna be eating have to be, you know, the tight ends, right?
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: Probably.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: Pat Fryer moved last year, had 78 targets.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: He played 17 games.
- 34:20SPEAKER_01: Now they got a guy in John Lu Smith, who also played 17 games, and like you were saying, the guy freaking averaged 13 points a game, and and most of his his stats came at like the later end of the season.
- 34:32SPEAKER_01: Like he had uh obviously he had like decent, like pretty solid games all the way through the season.
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: By week number uh uh 10, he had a nine nine targets, excuse me, nine receptions on 11 targets, 87 yards.
- 34:47SPEAKER_01: He had 10 receptions on 11 targets for 113 yards the next week, and then obviously off week, and then nine nine receptions on 11 targets, 48 yards and a touchdown.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: So, like he had the second half of that season, he blew up.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: Uh, but also, you know, on the other hand, I don't have him in my top 15.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: So I just wanted to say all that.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: Dude, no, those are all great points, though.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: And you know, we lost pickens.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Or I'm sorry, I'll say we the Steelers lost Pickens.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: So I I agree.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: He he could easily be the number two in line behind DK.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: Um, it's gonna be him or Fryermuth in in most most cases.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: Who's your number 14?
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: Number 14.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: Hmm.
- 35:38SPEAKER_01: I actually have uh a Super Bowl champion, a man's man who had some highlights last year.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't know if you guys remember that 50 yard reception where he kind of like stiff armed a guy and spun into the end zone.
- 35:52SPEAKER_01: And uh you're talking about his name is Dallas Goddard, Super Bowl champion for the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: Now, last year the guy did great when he played, but he didn't play that much.
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: He only played 10 games, you know, so he missed seven games when he was available.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: He did okay.
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: He was getting five touches or targets per game.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: And in a Philadelphia offense, that's about as much as he's gonna get.
- 36:15SPEAKER_01: Because you have AJ Brown, Devontae Smith, you know, Saquon Barkley, like, you know, unfortunately, Dash Goddard was like, you know, 3 slash 4 for the option.
- 36:25SPEAKER_01: So I think he's gonna take a uh a little bit of I have him down a little bit, but I still have him at top 15 because the games that he is available, he's gonna be very solid for you, but obviously you're not gonna have him for the full year.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: So yeah, and I mean, even though he only played 10 games, he finished with almost 500 yards.
- 36:43SPEAKER_00: So yeah, you know, he's on the field, he's he's producing.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: Now, as my last pick at the 15 spot, I have Isaiah likely.
- 36:54SPEAKER_00: As I mentioned earlier, I think there's a little too much hype behind him, but I could be misreading the current situation.
- 37:00SPEAKER_00: That's that's why I have him at the 15.
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking maybe I'm getting this wrong.
- 37:05SPEAKER_00: And he's in a contract year, just like Andrews, and maybe the Ravens want likely to be more involved than Andrews.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: Maybe they're like, hey, you know what?
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: Andrews is probably his last year.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: Let's focus on likely.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: You know, they've had the old bull, now they want the young calf.
- 37:19SPEAKER_00: Regardless, likely is a guy I'd keep on my bench for the first three weeks while we keep an eye on the offense.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: If you if you're looking for a last pick or you know, second or last pick, grab him, keep an eye on the offense, and just see what the Ravens do.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: Maybe he is someone that uh decides to show up mid-season if Andrews isn't producing.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: Now, last and not least, my 15th tight end.
- 37:49SPEAKER_01: Um, I actually have him up a few spots in your other experts.
- 37:53SPEAKER_01: Um, and the reason why is because when he was playing, he was actually averaging 6.1 targets per game.
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: And that's uh Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys.
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: Uh, I think Dak was injured for half this year, the leak year last year.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: So a lot of those targets were coming from a backup and a backups backup and a backups backups backup.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: Uh so Dallas was but despite that, you know, Jay Ferguson still had 86 targets last year, which is pretty amazing.
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: That is like I didn't realize he had that many.
- 38:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he if you look at overall, there was only three or four other guys that got more targets per game than him.
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: One of them you mentioned, Zach Ertz, actually had 91.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: But uh that's why I like him.
- 38:35SPEAKER_01: You know, keep him in there, he's solid.
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: Um, he should get a full year with Dak Prescott, and I know Pickens is there now with CeeDee Lamb, but they need somebody else on the other side of the field when whenever defense have to, you know, take the bait.
- 38:50SPEAKER_01: So I I that's that's why I have him squeaking in at number 15 here overall.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: I like that a lot actually.
- 39:01SPEAKER_01: Now, unfortunately, Joe, I think I think it's that time now.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: I think it's uh the end of the show here.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: Um, did you have any thoughts like overall about some of the stuff we did here?
- 39:11SPEAKER_01: Like what some things made you think.
- 39:14SPEAKER_00: Just with the tight end position, it's a tight end position.
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: Just go with your gut.
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: If like we were saying, if there's a guy you like, grab him.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: Don't think too much about it.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: It's a lot of the time it's not worth it to even have two tight ends on your team.
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: But uh, if you do have confidence in someone that's a rookie or a sleeper, just grab them, throw them on your bench.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: Um, don't put too much thought into tight end unless you're getting one of those top-tier guys, because this is that position where as as Manny was saying before we started recording, like the drop-off is so severe, and then you have everyone floating around like five to ten points.
- 39:47SPEAKER_00: If if that's what you're rolling with, um, might as well just take a dart throw or roll the dice on on someone that that you believe in your gut could be a big producer.
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: And at the end of the day, too, most of these guys, these tight ends, you're gonna be looking at them rounds 14 or later.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: You know, some of the like the guys ranked, I in my opinion, some of the top, you know, 15 to 20 guys, you're still gonna be able to get them round 14 or later.
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: So if you're if you get somebody that you think is a question mark, you know, early on in the draft, you're like, hey, you know what, I just want to get a backup just in case.
- 40:21SPEAKER_01: Obviously, you know, if you're limited on roster spots like Joe, I wouldn't recommend you know having a second tight end.
- 40:29SPEAKER_01: But if you decide, hey, I completely forgot about the tight end position because there's nothing available, so I just waited to the last minute.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: You can still get somebody that's gonna get you 10 points.
- 40:38SPEAKER_01: I just won't, like you said, overthink it.
- 40:41SPEAKER_01: At the end of the day, you're not gonna get more production unless you trade for it.
- 40:44SPEAKER_01: So at that point, just keep what you have.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: If you have a consistent guy who's getting 10 a game every game, you might be able to package him with a really good running back to get the quarterback you want, or vice versa, right?
- 40:55SPEAKER_01: So you kind of pick up, and the best thing to do is always analyze your opponent's team, speak to your opponents and know what what they actually uh the language they speak when it comes to football and returns, right?
- 41:09SPEAKER_01: Because some guys are bigger on potential, some guys are bigger on different intangibles.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: So I think when you could uh really learn what your advantages are and and you know where you can get better, then do so.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: I think Joe and me last year, we traded multiple times in different leagues.
- 41:26SPEAKER_01: And Joe, didn't you end up winning that last one by a lot for CD Lamb for Jamar Chase?
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: Big time, but you know, you've won many trades in previous years too, so you never know.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: Um, I've turned down some trades where a couple weeks later I really regret it.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: But dude, what you were just saying is such a valid point.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: It's how I analyze trades.
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: I will stalk the other teams in my league.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: I will I will just sit there at work when I'm on lunch and just scroll through every team and see where their weak spots are.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: If I need to fill a position, I will find someone that's in desperate need of a quarterback, a running back, whatever I got extra of.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: And I will package a deal saying, I need that tight end.
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: If you if you really want a tight end on this list and you don't get them, one of those top-tier guys, you stalk that team and find where their weaknesses are and put a little package together and get them on your team.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the art of the deal, baby.
- 42:23SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 42:24SPEAKER_01: That's how you do it.
- 42:25SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: But either way, Joe, I had a good time.
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: You can talk about tight ends, man.
- 42:29SPEAKER_01: This has been fun.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: I didn't expect it to be that enjoyable.
- 42:32SPEAKER_01: It's just because season started about to start.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: We're getting our stuff out there, guys.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: Like we said, follow, like, share.
- 42:39SPEAKER_01: We'll be back here next week.
- 42:41SPEAKER_01: Joe, which one are we touching up here on episode three?
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: I believe episode three will be quarterbacks, and then episode four will be wide receivers.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: Yes, okay.
- 42:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then I mean, and we're still up in there.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: Maybe qu maybe episode three is wide receivers, episodes four is quarterbacks.
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: We're gonna keep you guys on your toes.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: You gotta tune in next week to see what we will be doing.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: We got we gotta keep you hanging on.
- 43:07SPEAKER_01: All right, but anyways, I appreciate you guys.
- 43:09SPEAKER_01: We appreciate all the love.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: Any anything else you gotta say to you guys, Joe?
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, just get ready for the player profiles all season.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: We'll be pumping them out as always.
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 43:19SPEAKER_01: All right, sports minds.
- 43:20SPEAKER_01: You have a good night.
- 43:21SPEAKER_01: We'll see you same time, same place next week, guys.
- 43:24SPEAKER_01: God bless you.
