Tony Iommi’s new solo album From the Dark drops with a killer lineup, including Brian May — a longtime friend they’ve jammed with before — and vocalist Jorn Lande, whom Iommi discovered at a Dio tribute and instantly loved. While fans hoped Geezer Butler would join, Iommi had to go local, bringing in Birmingham bassist Becky Baldwin, who nails Geezer’s vibe, and drummer Karl Brazil, whom Iommi met on a beach near his home.
