Today we're adding some color to your Telugu. We're learning colors. Luna: Ooh, I love colors. What are we starting with? Lucas: Three basic ones: red, yellow, and blue. In Telugu, red is ఎరుపు. Luna: ఎరుపు. Lucas: Great! Try it a bit slower: ఎ-రు-పు. Luna: ఎ-రు-పు. ఎరుపు. Lucas: Perfect. Now yellow: పసుపు. Luna: పసుపు. That sounds like 'pasupu'. Lucas: Exactly. And blue: నీలం. Luna: నీలం. That's 'neelam'. Lucas: You're a natural. Let's put them in a tiny sentence. I'll say 'This is red' in Telugu: ఇది ఎరుపు. Luna: ఇది ఎరుపు. Lucas: Now you try: 'This is yellow'. Luna: ఇది పసుపు. Lucas: Yes! And 'This is blue'? Luna: ఇది నీలం. Lucas: You nailed it. So let's do a quick practice. I'll say the English, you say Telugu. Red. Luna: ఎరుపు. Lucas: Yellow. Luna: పసుపు. Lucas: Blue. Luna: నీలం. Lucas: Excellent! Now let's do a little scene. Imagine we're at a fruit stand. I see a red apple. I say 'That is red': అది ఎరుపు. Luna: అది ఎరుపు. Lucas: And a yellow banana: అది పసుపు. Luna: అది పసుపు. Lucas: And a blueberry? Well, blueberries are blue: అది నీలం. Luna: అది నీలం. I love that. Lucas: Let's mix it up. I'll point to something and you say the color. Pointing to the sky. Luna: నీలం. Lucas: Pointing to the sun. Luna: పసుపు. Lucas: Pointing to a strawberry. Luna: ఎరుపు. Lucas: Perfect. You're doing so well. Now, let's do a quick listen-and-repeat one more time.
