- 0:00Speaker 1: Lush Uno back at it with my pott and to
- 0:02Speaker 1: play a bootleg keV. This is about to be a
- 0:04Speaker 1: crazy one. Log in with me. Come on, bhu leg
- 0:10Speaker 1: cap Podcast special guests in here, Lush, I was gonna
- 0:14Speaker 1: shave because I figure if I did, it might have
- 0:18Speaker 1: been even more difficult to distinguish us from one another.
- 0:22Speaker 1: This is like the Spider Man meme in the flesh. Okay, yeah, so,
- 0:26Speaker 1: first of all, apologize for calling you corny bro. My
- 0:29Speaker 1: bad for calling you what I called you. I think
- 0:32Speaker 1: you called me a bam bam bigelow interrexic and I
- 0:38Speaker 1: jerk off rappers for a living, I understand, manually stimulate them,
- 0:42Speaker 1: manually masturbate. Yeah nice. Yeah, only a few, only a few, man, Yeah,
- 0:48Speaker 1: because like, honestly, I had to get you. It was
- 0:51Speaker 1: lighthearted and no I saw I saw your comment and
- 0:54Speaker 1: you were and I saw you get me love at
- 0:56Speaker 1: the end of the interview things. Yeah yeah, like I
- 0:58Speaker 1: legit was rocking with you. That's why I kind of
- 1:01Speaker 1: hurt my heart. You know what I called I only
- 1:04Speaker 1: saw a couple of things, and I think I just
- 1:06Speaker 1: hated the wrap part of your guys' little Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10Speaker 1: it was just it just wasn't great to me and
- 1:13Speaker 1: the wrap part of our trajectory over there. Yeah, so
- 1:16Speaker 1: how are you doing? Obviously it's been about three weeks
- 1:19Speaker 1: now since everything happened here. Well, it's it's been great.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Wound up securing a caffeine deal. I saw that going
- 1:25Speaker 1: going up right now. Been doing my own pod going
- 1:28Speaker 1: up right now. No, I saw you've been doing kind
- 1:30Speaker 1: of like more like a mentally like a like a
- 1:34Speaker 1: podcast that's more geared towards because you're obviously how long
- 1:37Speaker 1: have you been sober? Over three years? Well, congrats, thank you.
- 1:41Speaker 1: So the podcast that you've been doing is it more
- 1:44Speaker 1: like mental health directed? So there's like it's like there's
- 1:48Speaker 1: different content that I'm doing over there. One of the
- 1:51Speaker 1: podcasts with my boy Kyle is called Ruining Hour, and
- 1:56Speaker 1: that is geared towards mental health because we're both sober.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Then I have one called Lush World where I'm doing
- 2:03Speaker 1: interviews kind of similar to what you got going on.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Then I'm doing streams as well. So the stream stuff's
- 2:09Speaker 1: on caffeine. Yeah, yeah, well, because rats on that. Yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 1: it seems like you landed on your feet pretty well. Man, yep,
- 2:13Speaker 1: shouts to my boy e K and the ad also
- 2:15Speaker 1: is a little bit instrumental in helping me leverage that situation.
- 2:19Speaker 1: So right, I think, like for anybody who doesn't know, man,
- 2:22Speaker 1: I grew up around everybody in my family's addicts. Everybody
- 2:27Speaker 1: from my dad to my uncle to my cousins. Every
- 2:30Speaker 1: single like big male member of my family was some
- 2:34Speaker 1: sort of addict, crack heroin, I mean, whatever you want
- 2:37Speaker 1: to call it, Right, do you remember, like because I was?
- 2:42Speaker 1: You know, the one thing about being somebody who loves
- 2:45Speaker 1: somebody who's an addict is the most frustrating part is
- 2:47Speaker 1: trying to get them to get clean before they're ready
- 2:49Speaker 1: to get clean. It's almost like you got to kind
- 2:53Speaker 1: of just let them fall on their face or hit
- 2:55Speaker 1: rock bottom. What was your rock bottom? See it's weird
- 2:58Speaker 1: because my eating bottom is essential to getting silver. But
- 3:03Speaker 1: for me, there was a series of different bottoms, and
- 3:07Speaker 1: I would think that I hit bottom and then boom,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I go down through the floorboards, and then I'm in
- 3:12Speaker 1: the cellar, and then boom, I go through the cellar
- 3:14Speaker 1: and next thing I know, I'm starting to smell sulfur
- 3:17Speaker 1: and I'm approaching the seventh layer of hell, And yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 1: what was that what was the seventh layer of Heil
- 3:23Speaker 1: rock Bottom? Were you sucking dick? You never suck no
- 3:26Speaker 1: motherfucking dick. Hell no, he was like, and then I
- 3:30Speaker 1: realized what I was on my knees about to blow
- 3:32Speaker 1: this truck or for no no, no, no, no, no,
- 3:35Speaker 1: no no, just you know, pitiful incomprehensible demoralization, just lying
- 3:42Speaker 1: like being a strange for my family, my friends. You know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I've experienced anything you pretty much could besides sucking dick.
- 3:51Speaker 1: You know, I've been been shot at, being stabbed, be incarcerated,
- 3:55Speaker 1: overdose a group of times, had hits all my life.
- 3:58Speaker 1: So you know, yeah, I got one cousin of mine
- 4:01Speaker 1: who in and out of jail's whole life has overdosed
- 4:04Speaker 1: over and over. He's been stabbed, he's been shot. I
- 4:08Speaker 1: mean this, dude, it's it's crazy, and it's like then
- 4:11Speaker 1: my uncle Scott. Shout to my uncle Scott, who just
- 4:13Speaker 1: got out of prison for the fucking ninety eighth time.
- 4:16Speaker 1: He just messaged me on Facebook. I could shot Uncle Scott. Man,
- 4:19Speaker 1: welcome home, Scott. Come on, He's like, I promise you
- 4:21Speaker 1: this my last time, Kevin. I hope everything's all round like, bruh.
- 4:25Speaker 1: When I was a kid, this dude used to come
- 4:26Speaker 1: to my house because he was tweaking so fucking hard,
- 4:29Speaker 1: running around with the Hell's angels. This motherfucker would be
- 4:31Speaker 1: sitting at my sink picking his fucking face thinking there
- 4:34Speaker 1: was bugs in his fucking tweaking. Yeah, so I used
- 4:38Speaker 1: to go into the bathroom be fucking blood everywhere. Then
- 4:40Speaker 1: my other uncle and aunt, we used to go to
- 4:43Speaker 1: their house to play with my cousins, and all the
- 4:45Speaker 1: fucking spoons were burnt. Yeah, it's a fucked up life, man, Yeah. Yeah,
- 4:49Speaker 1: that attic life is serious and for you, like, because
- 4:52Speaker 1: there's a few different ways. Obviously there's like did you
- 4:54Speaker 1: go through AA or NA rather Well, yeah, I'm in
- 4:57Speaker 1: a twelve step program, but I did go to treatment
- 5:00Speaker 1: as well. And when I agreed to go to treatment,
- 5:05Speaker 1: I had pretty much gotten to the point where I
- 5:08Speaker 1: felt like I had no more moves the bus. I
- 5:10Speaker 1: had already exhausted all my resources. You know, anybody that
- 5:15Speaker 1: was foolish enough to still be close to me, my
- 5:17Speaker 1: fiance at the time, any of my friends, they were
- 5:19Speaker 1: like not fucking with me, and it was either that
- 5:22Speaker 1: or pretty much die. I had no other options, and
- 5:26Speaker 1: I've been in a lot of treatment centers over the years.
- 5:29Speaker 1: The first time I was sixteen, you know, I went
- 5:31Speaker 1: to Juvie got arrested for the first time at thirteen.
- 5:36Speaker 1: The spot that I went to was for chronic relapsers. Basically,
- 5:41Speaker 1: it's like, if you don't get sober, here, it's a
- 5:43Speaker 1: wrap for you. This is the last stop on the train.
- 5:47Speaker 1: And I thought that I qualified as a chronic relapser.
- 5:51Speaker 1: But then I realized I've never actually relapsed because I
- 5:56Speaker 1: never made an earnest attempt at sobriety in my life. So, yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 1: one of my uncles, my uncle Rocky, has a drug
- 6:03Speaker 1: rehab called he was a huge heroin addict. He used
- 6:07Speaker 1: to shoot up right here, damn yeah, because yeah, and
- 6:11Speaker 1: he didn't want anybody to see us. He was shoot
- 6:13Speaker 1: up in his fucking eyelids. But this motherfucker got clean,
- 6:17Speaker 1: started a drug rehab and then when I was like sixteen,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I started working for him in like a Dennin can store.
- 6:23Speaker 1: But he had the same type of program called the
- 6:25Speaker 1: Herd six program, and it was all people who they
- 6:28Speaker 1: were like on their last they were like habitual relapsers.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And man, so I was like fifteen sixteen working in
- 6:35Speaker 1: a fucking Dennin can store, just with a bunch of
- 6:37Speaker 1: fucking recovering dope fiends. Then I turned eighteen and I
- 6:40Speaker 1: got a job running his consignment car lot. Literally every
- 6:44Speaker 1: employee was a fucking freshly recovered drug add So I
- 6:49Speaker 1: was babysitting dope fiends at eighteen years old. That man
- 6:54Speaker 1: crazy life. Shout out to everybody's who's staying clean? So
- 6:57Speaker 1: for you, was it like, because I always hear like
- 7:01Speaker 1: there's because you know, nowadays, especially being in Cali, there's
- 7:05Speaker 1: like weed, there's there's psychedelics, there's California sober correct, right,
- 7:10Speaker 1: so for you, you're sober sober. Yeah, I can't fuck
- 7:13Speaker 1: with none of that ship. So if you smoke weed,
- 7:15Speaker 1: you feel like it can kind of be a gateway
- 7:16Speaker 1: for I don't want to tempt fate, you know, Like
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm still high. I've donet smoke so much weed in
- 7:22Speaker 1: my past right to the point where like I have
- 7:25Speaker 1: no like, I have no desire to even try it again.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You know, who knows in the future. I just know
- 7:31Speaker 1: for right now, for today, I'm not fucking with it. Yeah,
- 7:33Speaker 1: I just there was somebody I just saw on Joe Rogans.
- 7:36Speaker 1: They're they're cleaning sober, but they were like considering trying.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I think ayahuasca. Yeah see, like you know I've already
- 7:43Speaker 1: had them psychedelic, You've already experiences. There's no real if
- 7:49Speaker 1: I would do that for me, that would be your relapse.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Because I just want to get high. I just want
- 7:53Speaker 1: to get outside my body. But that's nothing that I
- 7:56Speaker 1: can attain with, you know, prayer, meditation, I can do
- 8:01Speaker 1: all that and reach that same level of consciousness as
- 8:04Speaker 1: to where I don't need were a lot of your
- 8:07Speaker 1: friend's family, I know I saw some of the fans
- 8:09Speaker 1: or maybe a little worried that with the situation that
- 8:11Speaker 1: just happened to a no jumper, that you your sobriety
- 8:13Speaker 1: might have been in question, or you might have maybe
- 8:16Speaker 1: gotten mentally hit by it, or did it did it
- 8:18Speaker 1: bother you in that way? Were you able to kind
- 8:20Speaker 1: of get through it. I was able to get through it,
- 8:23Speaker 1: by the grace of God. However, I will say the
- 8:25Speaker 1: closest I've gotten to relapsing, the only time I was
- 8:30Speaker 1: like considering it, really considering it, was after Adam kicked
- 8:34Speaker 1: me out that day and I was driving around the valley.
- 8:38Speaker 1: You feel me like driving around the valley not stopping
- 8:42Speaker 1: because I knew that if I stopped, I was going
- 8:44Speaker 1: to go to a liquor store and get on and
- 8:45Speaker 1: get I get something, get me a little bottle and
- 8:48Speaker 1: get it. That day, that day, what was it that
- 8:50Speaker 1: made you? What did you call? Do you have a sponsor?
- 8:53Speaker 1: I do have a sponsor, and I call my sponsor
- 8:54Speaker 1: and like that was between him that's dope and people
- 8:58Speaker 1: that are close to me, they want up talking you
- 9:00Speaker 1: off the ledge. And I realized, Nam, yeah, not how
- 9:03Speaker 1: I want to move. But yeah, no, it was really
- 9:06Speaker 1: it got dark. Yeah, dude, I mean I can only
- 9:09Speaker 1: imagine because I do see, like even just being on
- 9:13Speaker 1: the show the day, because I got hit up the
- 9:15Speaker 1: day then all that happened. We were at lunch and
- 9:20Speaker 1: because you'll film the next day, right the next morning. Yeah,
- 9:23Speaker 1: and we're at lunch and Adam just hit me. He's like, hey,
- 9:26Speaker 1: this is what happened. You're down to be a guest
- 9:28Speaker 1: on the show tomorrow. Just I just need a fill in.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, whatever, I've been on the show before.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I was like, cool, I got you, bro, Like Adam's
- 9:33Speaker 1: always been super stand up with me, you know. And
- 9:37Speaker 1: but then I really like didn't really really realize like
- 9:41Speaker 1: oh eighties about because eighty called me and eighty talked
- 9:44Speaker 1: and he was like, dude, I'm about to quit, right
- 9:46Speaker 1: And I was like Jesus Christ, like what am I
- 9:49Speaker 1: walking into? And then everyone assumed I'm like the permanent
- 9:53Speaker 1: new guy on the show, right, So well, you had
- 9:57Speaker 1: to do that. It is kind of like a New
- 9:58Speaker 1: York version of ad You had like a lush one
- 10:01Speaker 1: Adjason's character. Correct, It's like, oh look, yeah, you're white. Yeah, okay.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It was like, oh, there's a white guy with a
- 10:07Speaker 1: fitted baseball game, right right, yeah, So I think I
- 10:11Speaker 1: just and then I didn't know about the Reddit thing,
- 10:14Speaker 1: and then I went on Reddit and I was like,
- 10:16Speaker 1: oh this is wild. Yeah, it gets deep. Do you
- 10:21Speaker 1: regret diving into that part of it? Not even for
- 10:24Speaker 1: the result of what ended up happening, but just I
- 10:27Speaker 1: do feel like I could see how going and looking
- 10:30Speaker 1: in that toxic ass thing and seeing everyone's opinion and
- 10:35Speaker 1: just kind of seeing all the negative bullshit that gets
- 10:37Speaker 1: said in there could probably like subconsciously fuck with you.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Well here's the thing, yes, is the short answer. However,
- 10:48Speaker 1: right before I wound up because you know, first me
- 10:50Speaker 1: and Disaster had the our own podcast, Jump On No Jump.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I remember that, yeah, and it was cool, and we
- 10:55Speaker 1: were just focusing on battle rapping just lyricists, which is
- 10:59Speaker 1: like the lay that I'm in. Another reason why you
- 11:01Speaker 1: and I are kind of similar. We're both hardcore hip
- 11:04Speaker 1: hop fanatics, you feel me like. And then they wound
- 11:08Speaker 1: up bringing me on the main podcast I'm a No
- 11:11Speaker 1: Jumper show, and then people really took to me, and
- 11:15Speaker 1: I wound up becoming a staple over there or just
- 11:17Speaker 1: one of them. I feel like at one point in time,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I felt like anytime I'd like to see a thumbnail
- 11:20Speaker 1: you were on it was like yeah, absolutely, within the
- 11:23Speaker 1: past six months, I was on that channel more than
- 11:26Speaker 1: anybody else. So what happened was right before I wound
- 11:31Speaker 1: up being brought on to the other podcasts, I would
- 11:35Speaker 1: had hit a low in my life and was very depressed,
- 11:38Speaker 1: going through a lot of changes, and it was just
- 11:41Speaker 1: like down. You know, my my Chicken Eyes split up,
- 11:44Speaker 1: my mom was terminally diagnosed with terminal illness. You know,
- 11:49Speaker 1: my company was going through a lot of changes, my
- 11:51Speaker 1: battle rap league, so I just felt like really unstable
- 11:55Speaker 1: and you know, I was like, damn near suicidal. I
- 11:57Speaker 1: was suicidal. This is prior to you in disaster, this
- 12:00Speaker 1: is this is after after disaster and I and before
- 12:03Speaker 1: I got right regular. So I was super depressed. I
- 12:10Speaker 1: wound up going on the show. When I'm on there,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I'm like, they're probably not gonna fuck with me, like
- 12:15Speaker 1: the craft, the audience, don't you know. I'm I'm older,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm not really in the same vein. There's a lot
- 12:21Speaker 1: of the people on. They're probably not going to fuck
- 12:23Speaker 1: with me. But then all of the comments were like
- 12:25Speaker 1: overwhelmingly positive, and people start bombarding my Instagram and like
- 12:31Speaker 1: telling me to go to the reddit and all that,
- 12:32Speaker 1: And at that point, I was so depressed. The only
- 12:36Speaker 1: thing that was really keeping me going was going and
- 12:39Speaker 1: seeing the positivity you were getting right right at that time. Yeah,
- 12:42Speaker 1: they're Reddit. The YouTube comments is your social media. So
- 12:46Speaker 1: that really if it wasn't for that, I don't know
- 12:48Speaker 1: if I would have made it through that dark period.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So I'm I'm grateful to the Reddit for that. However,
- 12:55Speaker 1: I had to, I should have separated myself at a
- 12:58Speaker 1: certain point, but it because you know my addicts mentality.
- 13:01Speaker 1: It's literally like chasing. I can see how that is addictive.
- 13:04Speaker 1: This validation is you know, sure for for for an addict,
- 13:08Speaker 1: and even just then even because you're a part of
- 13:09Speaker 1: it and you just want to probably just be like,
- 13:11Speaker 1: what are these motherfuckers saying about? Right ABC or D. Look,
- 13:15Speaker 1: everybody over there check the reddit, whether they want to
- 13:17Speaker 1: admit it or not. They like some more than others.
- 13:20Speaker 1: But everybody is is peeping the reddit to some extent,
- 13:23Speaker 1: not like I was. I was actively posting on there.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And then at a certain point when the when these
- 13:29Speaker 1: people in the reddit saw that I was going in there,
- 13:32Speaker 1: like oh well, we could get a reaction out of him.
- 13:35Speaker 1: So then like and then when the when the pendulum
- 13:38Speaker 1: inevitably swings to the other side from that love to
- 13:41Speaker 1: them not fucking with me and dissecting me. And you
- 13:44Speaker 1: know what I mean that right there, I was trying
- 13:47Speaker 1: to win them over and it became like this vicious cycle. Yeah.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I can only imagine, man, because like you know, I
- 13:53Speaker 1: got a family, I got kids, and shit, I'm like, bro,
- 13:54Speaker 1: I would never want to be uh. I mean, I
- 13:58Speaker 1: feel like the type of ship I do. I purposely
- 14:02Speaker 1: don't touch certain shit because I don't want to like
- 14:05Speaker 1: overexpose myself, I guess, and my kids and my girl
- 14:07Speaker 1: and shit. So I even told Adam when all this
- 14:10Speaker 1: shit has been going on the last few weeks, I
- 14:12Speaker 1: was like, Bro, you got some fucking thick skin, brother,
- 14:14Speaker 1: because this shit is crazy. They would have been on
- 14:17Speaker 1: your last if you had gone over there permanently yet,
- 14:20Speaker 1: but even just like just seeing, like you know, because
- 14:22Speaker 1: I know Adam like could addressed whatever allegations over and over.
- 14:28Speaker 1: So I'm like, Yo, this shit got brought back up,
- 14:30Speaker 1: and I'm like, bro, here's the thing, and I want
- 14:34Speaker 1: your opinion on this. I genuinely believe that if Adam
- 14:38Speaker 1: had not gone on that pod right when I was
- 14:42Speaker 1: on there and fired me in the very unceremonious manner
- 14:46Speaker 1: in which he did, a lot of that shit wouldn't
- 14:49Speaker 1: have happened. I agree, And I think I might have
- 14:50Speaker 1: said something to that effect on the podcast. I think
- 14:52Speaker 1: you might have. Yeah, I did. I did. I did
- 14:55Speaker 1: say something like that. I was like, because I do
- 14:58Speaker 1: think that that moment was so vibe role and it
- 15:01Speaker 1: also highlighted whatever said issues that And I even told
- 15:09Speaker 1: they do this when he was on here. I was like,
- 15:11Speaker 1: you were planning on leaving because there's no way, thick
- 15:13Speaker 1: skinned ass Ad I know, got so mad about someone
- 15:16Speaker 1: saying he has four jokes that he quit like you
- 15:18Speaker 1: was playing this shit, n But but here's the thing.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Ad for Shoe was there and I've been telling him
- 15:23Speaker 1: he should leave. I told him and t Rail like
- 15:25Speaker 1: you guys should be the fucking La drink champs and
- 15:28Speaker 1: they and they got their own thing going going really
- 15:30Speaker 1: well for them. Here's the thing. It kind of forced
- 15:33Speaker 1: AD's hand, it did with it being puzzled it was,
- 15:36Speaker 1: and it was also a nice opportunity if you were
- 15:39Speaker 1: planning on leaving already and those wheels already in motion,
- 15:42Speaker 1: it was a nice opportunity to kind of take advantage
- 15:45Speaker 1: of the of the you know, the virality of the moment.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And I think it was mutual. I think that Adam
- 15:50Speaker 1: and No Jumper was wanting to pivot away from that,
- 15:52Speaker 1: considering they already a certain point. It's a conflict of
- 15:56Speaker 1: interest when there's other podcasts with I don't want to
- 16:00Speaker 1: say regurgitating but utilizing the same content that you are
- 16:05Speaker 1: and getting more abused for it. I'd assume he probably
- 16:08Speaker 1: regrets firing at the time, and like not to say
- 16:11Speaker 1: that he shouldn't have fired me, but he could have
- 16:13Speaker 1: easily taken me outside. No, I think, and I think
- 16:16Speaker 1: he explained it to me, like, if you catch some
- 16:18Speaker 1: girl cheating on you and she's at work and you're
- 16:21Speaker 1: in the next room, if you cut your girl cheating
- 16:23Speaker 1: on you, you're gonna be so fucking pissed you're fucking
- 16:26Speaker 1: going in then you're fucking up her job, like, and
- 16:29Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, I get it if like you
- 16:30Speaker 1: guys had that relationship, and he truly felt like what
- 16:32Speaker 1: the fuck? Like it was shortsighted, and that is why
- 16:37Speaker 1: people should not ever make certain decisions when they're emotional,
- 16:41Speaker 1: because you always regret those decisions. But I do think
- 16:44Speaker 1: that had he handled it a little bit, and I'm
- 16:46Speaker 1: sure he would admit the same thing. But here's the thing, Like,
- 16:50Speaker 1: to an extent, and that's what I was kind of
- 16:52Speaker 1: going back and forth in my head, was well, he
- 16:54Speaker 1: just so mad, and I don't know that was an element,
- 16:57Speaker 1: but I honestly think that's capped to an extent. It
- 16:59Speaker 1: might be because it was a moment and the reason
- 17:01Speaker 1: why I think that he thought that he was gonna
- 17:04Speaker 1: dunk on me, You feel me and everybody was just
- 17:07Speaker 1: gonna be like, oh, damn, Adam just fucking marked Lush out.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Damn Lush is such a snake, fuck him. And they
- 17:13Speaker 1: were gonna be like, yeah, Adam, you're the man. You
- 17:15Speaker 1: look so cool. Because if if this is something he regretted,
- 17:20Speaker 1: then why did he post it? Not only on the
- 17:22Speaker 1: note collab post. That's the one thing. I the collab
- 17:25Speaker 1: post is crazy. I think I said that at lunch
- 17:28Speaker 1: because I think he said, my boy our showed me
- 17:32Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, he collap posts, so not
- 17:35Speaker 1: only the no Jumper fans are going to see it,
- 17:37Speaker 1: but his fans, And now he has gotten millions of views.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Ninety five percent of the comments are on his helmet,
- 17:45Speaker 1: Like this is a dude that has stated several times
- 17:48Speaker 1: and this isn't a disc Adham at all, because you know,
- 17:52Speaker 1: ultimately all this aside, I do respect him. You know,
- 17:55Speaker 1: he said everything is content, everything is fair again, you know,
- 18:01Speaker 1: so I believe he's like fuck it, like, oh, firing Lush,
- 18:04Speaker 1: that's one thing. Let's fire Lush on on the air.
- 18:08Speaker 1: And then it wound up, you know, kind of having
- 18:10Speaker 1: an adverse effect that he hadn't anticipated for you as
- 18:15Speaker 1: short lived, because what you would would you say you
- 18:17Speaker 1: were in a regular on No Jumper from September? Okay,
- 18:21Speaker 1: so about seven or six months? Yeah, six seven months?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Yeah for you, even though it ended the way it ended,
- 18:26Speaker 1: even though there might be bad blood now, it did
- 18:30Speaker 1: change your life absolutely, and it kind of puts you
- 18:32Speaker 1: in a position to kind of explore a new career
- 18:36Speaker 1: path or a new path of like because you've always
- 18:38Speaker 1: kind of been a personality and ye, but now you
- 18:42Speaker 1: can go and do caffeine. And I'm sure like not
- 18:44Speaker 1: without No Jumper, those things probably don't present themselves correct,
- 18:48Speaker 1: and who knows the trajectory of life, something else could
- 18:50Speaker 1: have popped up, you know what I mean. Like, but
- 18:52Speaker 1: absolutely so, I'm very I'm grateful for what happened. Like
- 18:56Speaker 1: as far as me, you know, No Jumpers a platform
- 18:59Speaker 1: that I loved for years. I'm grateful for my boy
- 19:02Speaker 1: Disaster for presenting that opportunity to me and making that happen.
- 19:07Speaker 1: And if it wasn't for that, yeah, I wouldn't be
- 19:10Speaker 1: doing what I'm doing now. I wouldn't. You know. My
- 19:12Speaker 1: fan base tripled since I went over there, So it's dope,
- 19:17Speaker 1: you know, but like kind of like you said, though,
- 19:19Speaker 1: like certain things that were brought about in that conversation
- 19:23Speaker 1: in the moment where he was firing me were things
- 19:27Speaker 1: that weren't even discussed, which wound up biting him in
- 19:30Speaker 1: the ass further because there was no conversation about salaries.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Although yeah, was I just kind of stirred up all
- 19:38Speaker 1: these right? Was I six figures up? Yes? But like
- 19:41Speaker 1: that was never something I discussed with those people in
- 19:44Speaker 1: the discord. And then like Trell and these other people
- 19:46Speaker 1: are like, yo, well hold up, why is buddy over
- 19:49Speaker 1: here getting paid this and I'm getting paid that? And
- 19:52Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be the star over here? Like it
- 19:54Speaker 1: just created a has sold a lot of seeds of discontent.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Were you making more than everybody over there? I was
- 20:00Speaker 1: one of the I was one of the higher paid people.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Or was it like what you and Ad? Probably? Yeah,
- 20:04Speaker 1: probably something like that. I don't know what everyone gets paid.
- 20:07Speaker 1: You were also there, though, I mean to be fair,
- 20:09Speaker 1: While t Rail and Ad were probably the quote unquote
- 20:11Speaker 1: stars of No Jumper, you probably were there more. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 1: I was. I went four or five days a week. Yeah.
- 20:19Speaker 1: But the thing is this what happened was due to
- 20:22Speaker 1: the like when a d was when ad started Community
- 20:27Speaker 1: and Trail started back on fig. There was no precedent,
- 20:31Speaker 1: said Adam had no idea that those that was going
- 20:34Speaker 1: to take off the way there, There was no precedent
- 20:36Speaker 1: before them to be like I could put these guys
- 20:38Speaker 1: in a contract, right, and even like, look, I approached
- 20:41Speaker 1: Adam towards the end of last year kind of having
- 20:44Speaker 1: an awareness about that and was like, Yo, I want
- 20:46Speaker 1: to start doing my own streaming and podcasting, Like I
- 20:49Speaker 1: want to offer you guys a percentage of the revenue
- 20:52Speaker 1: of whatever I do. You know what I mean? Because
- 20:55Speaker 1: if it wasn't it wasn't for y'all, I wouldn't be
- 20:57Speaker 1: in this position. And then there Adam was like take
- 21:00Speaker 1: in the back and he was like, whoa, I've never
- 21:02Speaker 1: even considered that, but like we'll talk about it to
- 21:04Speaker 1: get back to you. Instead, what they wound up doing
- 21:06Speaker 1: is presenting me with the contract, which is exclusive exclusivity
- 21:10Speaker 1: where they didn't want me to do anything else besides
- 21:13Speaker 1: no Jeffers. Yeah, which apparently is now like the precedent
- 21:17Speaker 1: they're setting with everybody there, you know where they just
- 21:20Speaker 1: fired a bunch of people. Yeah, I mean, now it's
- 21:22Speaker 1: all fucking different. You know, I was gonna say, because
- 21:25Speaker 1: I even I was there a few weeks ago, and
- 21:26Speaker 1: I feel like I just saw that video I think
- 21:28Speaker 1: you posted it, and it was a crazy video. I
- 21:30Speaker 1: was like, damn, all those people are gone. Yeah, Like
- 21:33Speaker 1: there's other people that weren't even in the video that
- 21:35Speaker 1: are gone too. Souse it like just Josh now, I
- 21:37Speaker 1: mean they have people that they've brought over in the
- 21:41Speaker 1: past couple of months. I like, actually, like Love Flacco's
- 21:44Speaker 1: still over there, Almighty Suspects still over there, a court

- 27:19Speaker 1: some money. Now, let's get back to the interview. So
- 27:21Speaker 1: for you, what is something that because you kind of
- 27:25Speaker 1: were in the middle of the peak of the dysfunction
- 27:28Speaker 1: in terms of just like if we were to think
- 27:30Speaker 1: about like the on camera drama at No Jumper, you
- 27:34Speaker 1: were pretty much there for all the all the hits,
- 27:38Speaker 1: all the greatest hits, a lot of them. So for you, like,
- 27:42Speaker 1: is there anything that you regret from that era or oh? Absolutely?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Like what absolutely? But now, to be fair, a lot
- 27:50Speaker 1: of that shit started before I was even in the mix, right,
- 27:54Speaker 1: and then you have nothing to do with the house
- 27:55Speaker 1: phone thing, yeah, yeah, And then there were prior to
- 27:58Speaker 1: me being even like a prominent character over there, there
- 28:02Speaker 1: was Trel and there's the Trel and Almighty Suspects. There's
- 28:08Speaker 1: like a lot of different things. But what I really
- 28:12Speaker 1: regret because I feel like, going into January, we were
- 28:17Speaker 1: on a very harmonious level. Everybody was getting along, We're
- 28:21Speaker 1: all fucking with each other. We had that you know
- 28:24Speaker 1: that that video I posted earlier was from the Christmas party.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Everybody's like we're one big, happy family, right, And then
- 28:32Speaker 1: in the beginning of January, I wound up. You know,
- 28:36Speaker 1: Adam told you about it, how he like encouraged me
- 28:39Speaker 1: to get at Flocko and shit, I regret I should
- 28:41Speaker 1: have never done that because that completely violates my moral
- 28:45Speaker 1: compass as just a man in recovery. Like now, I
- 28:49Speaker 1: get making fun of people is one thing, joking around,
- 28:51Speaker 1: we all can hoo ride each other. But I think
- 28:54Speaker 1: that I took it way too far and a lot
- 28:56Speaker 1: and was did something that I knew was wrong, even
- 29:00Speaker 1: though I was asked to do it by my boss,
- 29:02Speaker 1: who I was trying to, you know, who I wanted
- 29:04Speaker 1: to be happy with me. But at the same time,
- 29:08Speaker 1: it wound up setting in motion. Not only was it
- 29:10Speaker 1: wrong to Flacco, who I'm cool with now, but it's
- 29:12Speaker 1: set in the motion a chain of events which kind
- 29:15Speaker 1: of led to where we're at right now. Crazy. A
- 29:17Speaker 1: lot of people are saying that you might be suing.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I mean, if I was, I wouldn't talk about that anyways, right,
- 29:22Speaker 1: That's fair, I was gonna say, because like, I think,
- 29:25Speaker 1: like there's a few ways to look at the whole situation.
- 29:27Speaker 1: It's like, if you sue, it's like, I mean, I
- 29:31Speaker 1: don't know if that bridge is ever going to be unburned,
- 29:33Speaker 1: but it kind of really burns the bridge absolutely. I
- 29:36Speaker 1: mean I feel like there's no bridge. There's no the bridge. Yeah,
- 29:39Speaker 1: over the bridges, also the bridges Paris one. Yeah. Yeah,
- 29:43Speaker 1: just South Bronx right here. You feel me for people
- 29:47Speaker 1: who don't know, like kind of give me your like
- 29:50Speaker 1: roots in terms of hip hop and like getting involved
- 29:53Speaker 1: in the battle scene. You know, I've been involved in
- 29:55Speaker 1: hip hop culture my whole life started. Started apping when
- 30:00Speaker 1: I was fifteen in the mid nineties. Used to go
- 30:03Speaker 1: to Project Bload and things like that, and just like
- 30:07Speaker 1: you know, element is that on Tuesday night, Thursday, Thursday,
- 30:10Speaker 1: Thursday Night. I missed the good life era. Yeah, I
- 30:13Speaker 1: was too much of a kid, but I always heard
- 30:14Speaker 1: about it. Yeah yeah yeah, And I was like, you know,
- 30:17Speaker 1: just soaking up the game and soaking up culture. Moved
- 30:20Speaker 1: born and raised in Los Angeles, moved to the Bay
- 30:23Speaker 1: Area to Oakland, California, when I was nineteen, and that's
- 30:26Speaker 1: really when my you know, in a career as a
- 30:30Speaker 1: battle rapper started. I started off as a battle rapper,
- 30:33Speaker 1: got a lot of buzz locally, and then it started
- 30:36Speaker 1: to grow bigger. I was in a popular local group
- 30:39Speaker 1: called Delmont crew at the time, we were pretty much
- 30:42Speaker 1: in Oakland. In Oakland, anytime there would be this this
- 30:45Speaker 1: is like from two thousand and three to you know,
- 30:49Speaker 1: that's like yeah, straight Hyphie era. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So
- 30:51Speaker 1: we were there. I was there for the whole entire
- 30:53Speaker 1: hype movement and kind of like what we were as
- 30:56Speaker 1: a crew. Shout to my brothers Plex Rock and Ajax.
- 31:00Speaker 1: We were like kind of no no, no, no no no no,
- 31:03Speaker 1: Like we were like like, if you saw the way
- 31:06Speaker 1: we dressed and shit, you would think we were just
- 31:07Speaker 1: regular Hyphie rappers, but we were super lyrical and like
- 31:11Speaker 1: we would do like boom bap tracks and then we
- 31:13Speaker 1: would do like Hyphie turn up shit like too. Like
- 31:15Speaker 1: we had music with mister Fab and all that, and
- 31:17Speaker 1: we had music with Hiro and you know, Sean Price
- 31:21Speaker 1: for the first group from Oakland to do a song
- 31:23Speaker 1: with RP Sean Peah. Yeah. So yeah, and that was
- 31:27Speaker 1: like a whole thing, and then it wound up. The
- 31:30Speaker 1: battle rap things started popping off, and at a certain
- 31:33Speaker 1: point in two thousand and eight, I linked up with
- 31:37Speaker 1: this company called grind Time, which was like the first
- 31:40Speaker 1: prominent battle rap fixture on YouTube, and it got to
- 31:44Speaker 1: the point where and they started in Florida. Me being
- 31:47Speaker 1: from the West Coast, it was like, look, I know
- 31:50Speaker 1: I got some talent as an MC, but I'm way
- 31:53Speaker 1: better as like a curator of culture and organizer and
- 31:58Speaker 1: a host and like just like kind of you know,
- 32:00Speaker 1: I mean, so I wound up and it wasn't even
- 32:02Speaker 1: like that I was. I won't say that I was
- 32:04Speaker 1: the most organized of any of my friends, but I
- 32:06Speaker 1: was at least disorganized. So you were trying to so
- 32:09Speaker 1: essentially you got brought on to grind time to help
- 32:12Speaker 1: bring events together. Yeah, and I wounds. Yeah. And this
- 32:16Speaker 1: is right when World Star Hip Hop was popping off.
- 32:19Speaker 1: We were on the front page of World Star. Every
- 32:21Speaker 1: drop that we had wound up blowing up, you know
- 32:23Speaker 1: I remember that. Yeah, people like disaster, dumbfounded, no can
- 32:27Speaker 1: do like all, you know, a lot of the the
- 32:29Speaker 1: great lyricists of the West Coast and then Daylight like
- 32:32Speaker 1: and then I also brought a lot of the top
- 32:35Speaker 1: East Coast rappers and Midwest and South rappers to Cali
- 32:38Speaker 1: to battle for the first time Arsenal conceded t Rex Calico.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Like a lot of these dudes got their averb had
- 32:47Speaker 1: their first first time hopping on a plane was through
- 32:50Speaker 1: me booking them out west. The last, I think the
- 32:53Speaker 1: last big battle I ever went to was in Phoenix,
- 32:55Speaker 1: and it was when Daylight took a ship on steel
- 32:57Speaker 1: in the desert yep, yeah yeah, were you there? No
- 33:02Speaker 1: or disastrous here for people don't Yeah yeah, no, no no,
- 33:05Speaker 1: But that was a seminal moment, was it? I mean,
- 33:09Speaker 1: just for the fuck are you? I just think of
- 33:11Speaker 1: like the viral moments that I remember recently. It was
- 33:13Speaker 1: like that. It was like Cannabis pulling out a fucking yeah, yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 1: he was there for that. Are they even him battling Cassidy?
- 33:21Speaker 1: I remember that, which and those are both battles that
- 33:23Speaker 1: I curated as well. So so in your in terms
- 33:26Speaker 1: of like your role in the battle Rap world, you're
- 33:29Speaker 1: kind of like I wouldn't like maybe an executive or
- 33:32Speaker 1: look to us like slash host, Like I'm like a
- 33:35Speaker 1: West Coast Smack you know what I mean, Like, yeah,
- 33:38Speaker 1: West Coast smack, shout out the smack. I've made a
- 33:40Speaker 1: lot of money selling those DVDs. Well they're smack white.
- 33:42Speaker 1: I'm white smack. You feel me? Like, as long as
- 33:45Speaker 1: we're not doing smack fellas. Yeah. Yeah, as long as
- 33:47Speaker 1: I stopped doing smack. What was your was that your? No? No, No,
- 33:50Speaker 1: I was across the board doing everything real garbage canhead. Honestly, keV,
- 33:55Speaker 1: I believe the reason why I'm still alive and able
- 33:58Speaker 1: to talk to you right now is because I would
- 34:01Speaker 1: kind of like substitute addictions for one another. I would
- 34:04Speaker 1: go on like have like little run. Yeah this week,
- 34:07Speaker 1: I'm on crack next week, I'm right. I would have
- 34:09Speaker 1: like a five month coke binge when I'm just doing
- 34:11Speaker 1: coke every day. Then when it was getting too gnarly, like,
- 34:14Speaker 1: I would substitute it with ecstasy and then do ecstasy
- 34:17Speaker 1: for a couple of months every day. And they never
- 34:18Speaker 1: bow cocaine up a chicks, asshole? Oh yeah, snorted and
- 34:22Speaker 1: coke up a bit? Yeah, bro, Just what's that with
- 34:27Speaker 1: fucking Uncle Jerome and Franklin saying God damn snowfall? Oh
- 34:31Speaker 1: yeah yeah, first episode the FBI agents like blowing coke
- 34:33Speaker 1: up of chicks ash and she dies. Yeah, No, I've never,
- 34:36Speaker 1: I've never. Yeah, this cocaine sex supposed to cocaine sex
- 34:42Speaker 1: is amazing. But don't you have to also have a viagram?
- 34:45Speaker 1: You have to have your dick hard. Yeah, I've never
- 34:48Speaker 1: done anything. So for me being on coke, being on blow,
- 34:53Speaker 1: I much prefer to just get my dick sucked, just
- 34:55Speaker 1: like because it might oscillate from being hard and soft.
- 34:59Speaker 1: But and then you can, and then you can. You know,
- 35:01Speaker 1: you feel me. If you want to get your dick card,
- 35:03Speaker 1: go to Royalty HONEYUSA dot com. I see you just
- 35:07Speaker 1: got that rescun code lush uno all capitalized l us
- 35:11Speaker 1: ah un. And while you're at it, I have to
- 35:13Speaker 1: take this moment to say we are a very proud
- 35:16Speaker 1: partner with Blue Choe. Oh come on, let's go Boechoo
- 35:19Speaker 1: dot com and get that cock card. Use the promo
- 35:21Speaker 1: code Bootleg. I will trade you some honey packs for
- 35:24Speaker 1: some Blue Choo. Done deal, buddy, done deal, done deal.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Shout out to the honey packs. Some of them taste
- 35:31Speaker 1: really good. Some of them are god awful. Yeah yeah,
- 35:34Speaker 1: these ones. You know, is it an Asian company? It
- 35:37Speaker 1: feels like an Asian company. I'm not saying it is,
- 35:38Speaker 1: it just feels like it. This one is a Latino
- 35:41Speaker 1: owned company. Yeah yeah, but I'm not sure the origins
- 35:45Speaker 1: of all the components. Yeah, I was, because I've only
- 35:47Speaker 1: done whed in troops. The honey all my family scared
- 35:52Speaker 1: me from drugs. The honey packs work and I and
- 35:54Speaker 1: you know, I talked to my sponsor before I indulge.
- 35:56Speaker 1: It is not considered a relapse. So you can do
- 35:59Speaker 1: a honey pack. I can do a honey pack. I
- 36:01Speaker 1: love it so back in the day I was twenty
- 36:04Speaker 1: years What's the best drug for sex? Ecstasy? Hands down? Again,
- 36:08Speaker 1: you have to be mindful of the erection issue, you
- 36:12Speaker 1: know what I mean, It's possible it is do a viagran.
- 36:17Speaker 1: I've never tied viagra before, really, but yeah, like rather
- 36:21Speaker 1: or a bluetoo rather or a honeypack. But however, what
- 36:25Speaker 1: I like a lot of people like really like percocets
- 36:29Speaker 1: for sex. And it's I've heard that because it because
- 36:32Speaker 1: it makes numbs, indulged your senses to the point where
- 36:37Speaker 1: you could just you're gonna last a long time. You're
- 36:39Speaker 1: gonna be per perk dick. I've done the perk dick,
- 36:43Speaker 1: done honey dick. But yeah, for me, ecstasy and the
- 36:47Speaker 1: biggest pause, the biggest rum thing that I miss from
- 36:53Speaker 1: drugs of anything, is like the drug and sex combination.
- 36:57Speaker 1: And because it elevates your sex a little. It did,
- 37:00Speaker 1: and I had to learn, like I'm so used to
- 37:03Speaker 1: being fucked up since i was twelve years old. Thirteen
- 37:06Speaker 1: years old, twelve actually is when I first started getting
- 37:08Speaker 1: eye to the point where I had to relearn how
- 37:11Speaker 1: to do everything so normally. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, like you
- 37:14Speaker 1: gotta kind of almost retrain your body. Yeah, your brain
- 37:18Speaker 1: boom there it is state dependent dependent learning hashtag that
- 37:22Speaker 1: to the point where I literally, you know, like having
- 37:25Speaker 1: a conversation, you know, doing something like throwing a ball,
- 37:29Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like you just have to
- 37:32Speaker 1: relearn how to do anything music, Yeah, having sex, Like
- 37:36Speaker 1: I was super nervous the first time I had sex
- 37:38Speaker 1: in sobriety because I was like, what okay? Because I always,
- 37:44Speaker 1: for whatever reason, crack seems to be the drug most
- 37:46Speaker 1: straight men will suck dick for is if you were
- 37:50Speaker 1: to tell me which drug feels the best when you
- 37:53Speaker 1: first try it, because I always feel like it's got
- 37:55Speaker 1: to be cracker. Heroin, Yeah, I mean, because you obviously
- 37:58Speaker 1: people hit heroin and they're just like the thing, Well,
- 38:01Speaker 1: here's the thing. Crack is like same ship. It's like
- 38:04Speaker 1: doing opiates, like in order to get to Heroin. Like,
- 38:08Speaker 1: if you if a regular person or even someone if
- 38:11Speaker 1: you just sipped lean a few times or this or
- 38:13Speaker 1: that right and you went to Heroin, you'd be sick,
- 38:16Speaker 1: You'd be throwing up. It wouldn't feel good. So if
- 38:18Speaker 1: you go straight to the black tar, you can't. You can't.
- 38:21Speaker 1: You got to work your way up to that crack
- 38:23Speaker 1: when you first you know, the first time you smoke crack,
- 38:26Speaker 1: you yeah it's lit. Yeah, But I would say like,
- 38:30Speaker 1: and honestly, psychedelics like to me, felt the best first
- 38:35Speaker 1: time I shroomed out. Yeah, like, I love that. I
- 38:38Speaker 1: love psychedelics for sure. Yeah, I've never tried crack. I
- 38:40Speaker 1: don't plan on it. Don't do it. I won't. I won't,
- 38:43Speaker 1: don't do it, don't do it. I gotta stay away. Man.
- 38:46Speaker 1: My whole family is on that ship, so you know,
- 38:49Speaker 1: you can live vicariously through my past. But yeah, Crystal
- 38:52Speaker 1: math was another one that felt really good when I
- 38:54Speaker 1: first tried it. And my baby mama was a mathad
- 38:56Speaker 1: shout out to her. That's a big thing. And is
- 38:59Speaker 1: she from Aaron owner too, that's a big thing. In
- 39:02Speaker 1: as the first couple of rehabs I went to were
- 39:05Speaker 1: in a Wickenberg. Yes, I did go to the meadows. Yeah,
- 39:10Speaker 1: a couple of times I was in Wickenberg, and uh,
- 39:12Speaker 1: I was in another spot called the Prescott House Prescott, yeah, yeah,
- 39:15Speaker 1: and Prescott, Arizona. You say it the right way, the
- 39:18Speaker 1: right way, the right yeah, yeah. Yeah. They made it clear, like,
- 39:22Speaker 1: don't say Prescott, it's precos you Prescott's Yeah, a bunch
- 39:26Speaker 1: of old up there. No, that's a fucked up town, bro, Like, yeah,
- 39:30Speaker 1: shout out the press. Prescott and Prescott Valley, Prescott TV
- 39:34Speaker 1: is Gnar Levi. But yeah, So for you, what are
- 39:39Speaker 1: the lessons that you kind of learned from the last
- 39:41Speaker 1: year or so that you're going to try to apply
- 39:43Speaker 1: to your own content, And what are the good things
- 39:44Speaker 1: that you've learned too, because you, I mean, obviously Adams
- 39:46Speaker 1: have built the powerhouse. Yeah, absolutely, Like I've learned a
- 39:49Speaker 1: lot about I've learned the whole craft of podcasting. And
- 39:53Speaker 1: I'm sure you can test to this is not as
- 39:55Speaker 1: easy as it looks like. You have to like being
- 39:58Speaker 1: able to conversate with you, like I can tell like
- 40:01Speaker 1: you know what you're doing, you know how to podcast.
- 40:03Speaker 1: There's a whole skill set that goes into it. You
- 40:06Speaker 1: have to kind of know how to steer a conversation
- 40:09Speaker 1: when it's getting redundant, what's gonna be interesting, How not
- 40:13Speaker 1: to repeat yourself, how not to say like like like
- 40:17Speaker 1: a hundred times, there's a whole And so I learned
- 40:20Speaker 1: the entire craft of podcasting and I'm fairly decent at
- 40:24Speaker 1: it at this point. I'm grateful for that. So you're
- 40:27Speaker 1: gonna be how many days a week are you gonna
- 40:29Speaker 1: be doing content? I'm gonna be doing content three days
- 40:32Speaker 1: a week. Nice. So, but I'm gonna be focused on
- 40:36Speaker 1: focusing on it a lot more. But really my primary
- 40:39Speaker 1: focus all that aside my brother Disaster and I. We
- 40:42Speaker 1: have our Battle Rap League gt X, which is the
- 40:44Speaker 1: continuation of grind Time, and that's been That's what I
- 40:49Speaker 1: was doing before the whole podcasting thing took off. And
- 40:52Speaker 1: you know, like this is my passion and my roots
- 40:55Speaker 1: are in the battle rap culture, and I'm it's an
- 40:58Speaker 1: honor to be back. We got our first event of
- 41:00Speaker 1: the year called the Lot in a few North Holly
- 41:02Speaker 1: in North Hollywood. Yeah, who's battling. We got Disaster Verus Next,
- 41:06Speaker 1: we got Denny Myers versus dev the Demon. We got
- 41:10Speaker 1: Active versus real name Brandon and a litany of other
- 41:15Speaker 1: fire ass battles, botead ass. What is the business model
- 41:18Speaker 1: of the battle leak thing? Are you guys making money
- 41:20Speaker 1: off of pay per views? You guys, I mean obviously
- 41:21Speaker 1: you're making hard ticket money, I'm sure, but like I know,
- 41:24Speaker 1: a lot of these guys, they demand a purse. Yes, right, yeah,
- 41:27Speaker 1: you gotta fire. I'd always was a little confused about how,
- 41:32Speaker 1: like how the business model of a battle works. Well,
- 41:35Speaker 1: you kind of got to think of it in a
- 41:36Speaker 1: similar vein to boxing or MMA. So you guys have
- 41:39Speaker 1: a pay per view site. We have a pay per
- 41:41Speaker 1: view site. We're work in conjunction with a company called
- 41:43Speaker 1: rap Grid that does paper. But all you got to
- 41:45Speaker 1: do is go to our website GTX Battles dot com
- 41:48Speaker 1: and you can there's links to the paper. People gonna
- 41:50Speaker 1: can watch it from wherever. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But
- 41:54Speaker 1: the as far as the business model goes things such
- 41:57Speaker 1: as pay per view and you know, ticket sales and
- 42:00Speaker 1: all that, that's kind of just feeding the event and
- 42:03Speaker 1: making sure that we're able to sustain ourselves. What we
- 42:06Speaker 1: do is covers the cost. Right. We partner with any
- 42:09Speaker 1: brand that wants business. We sell eyeballs, you know, so
- 42:13Speaker 1: you can got millions of people and a concentrated demographic.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Any of you companies want some eyeballs, we got them. Yeah.
- 42:20Speaker 1: I just saw what was the battle that just happened
- 42:23Speaker 1: that s and Cassidy Brat. Yeah that was the you
- 42:26Speaker 1: were there. I was there. Yeah, I go yeah, daylight
- 42:30Speaker 1: versus King Boo. And who do you think is the goat?
- 42:34Speaker 1: My brother sitting on the sitting on the couch over there,
- 42:37Speaker 1: goat is sitting on the damn couch scrolling Reddit, there's
- 42:43Speaker 1: a you know, if it's disasters, who else who's it? Like?
- 42:47Speaker 1: Who's in that like four or five? Yeah? R I
- 42:51Speaker 1: p to past day? He definitely Yeah, yeah past day
- 42:54Speaker 1: one thousand percent. He just passed away last year I did,
- 42:57Speaker 1: he did. Yeah, a bad situation. Yeah, Shasa shoutsa Pats
- 43:01Speaker 1: Day and the whole KOTD family. I'll say this, the
- 43:05Speaker 1: West coast, the West coast, Mount Rushmore, there is there's
- 43:10Speaker 1: a disaster. There's Geeche Gotti, rum Nitty Denny Myers Daylight.
- 43:16Speaker 1: So there's a five man you know, that's the crew.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I'll put the saurus in immaculate. Yeah, passwords like, there's
- 43:24Speaker 1: very strong top eight on the West coast now, b
- 43:29Speaker 1: dot probably I would throw up there too. There's there's
- 43:32Speaker 1: now As far as the overall landscape of the culture,
- 43:35Speaker 1: you got Disaster, you got loaded Lux, you got murder, Mook,
- 43:41Speaker 1: Hollow the Dawn, you got Conceded, you got Arsenal, and
- 43:46Speaker 1: you got you know, those same names. The Saurus ended
- 43:51Speaker 1: up making the best music because that's the one thing
- 43:53Speaker 1: about battle rappers we always say. Because I always enjoyed
- 43:56Speaker 1: Sue's music, I want to say surf makes my favorite
- 43:58Speaker 1: music in battle rapper. But you got it. Like, the
- 44:01Speaker 1: thing is this, every single rapper has battled at some point.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Eminem was a battle rapper, you know what I mean
- 44:10Speaker 1: a lot of so everybody. Yeah, yeah, everyone's battled at
- 44:14Speaker 1: some point, whether it's in the cafeteria, whether it was
- 44:17Speaker 1: on camera or not. The question right right, But from
- 44:19Speaker 1: like the battle rap scene, I would say that, Yeah,
- 44:23Speaker 1: Suser definitely has the strongest catalog, dude, because I remember
- 44:26Speaker 1: seeing Supernatural when I was a little kid. I think
- 44:28Speaker 1: he opened up like wan to dilate his tours just
- 44:31Speaker 1: blew my fucking mind. Three words. But I'd never seen
- 44:35Speaker 1: that before. Right where he was like taking people's IDs
- 44:37Speaker 1: and ship he was spinning around and coming back as
- 44:39Speaker 1: exhibit or bust the rhymes or whatever. Right, and and
- 44:43Speaker 1: his music wasn't great, Well that's the thing, Like yeah,
- 44:46Speaker 1: like he and it hurt my heart because I was like,
- 44:49Speaker 1: this is the greatest rapper I've ever seen about life
- 44:51Speaker 1: is not a mutually exclusive skill set, true, you know.
- 44:54Speaker 1: And even like a lot of the guys that are
- 44:57Speaker 1: just great barsmiths, you know, dudes that well you'll have
- 45:00Speaker 1: on your podcast that will kill it, Are you really
- 45:03Speaker 1: slapping all their music? Probably not, you know, or I
- 45:06Speaker 1: grew up, you know what's crazy. I got to the
- 45:08Speaker 1: point where when I was a kid, I was like
- 45:10Speaker 1: a hip hop snob for a little bit where if
- 45:12Speaker 1: it wasn't like super over lyrical, I would like look
- 45:15Speaker 1: down on it, like it's like commercial bullshit, right right,
- 45:18Speaker 1: we all went through that phase. But now I'm like,
- 45:21Speaker 1: I just want to enjoy the music, man, right. And
- 45:24Speaker 1: then there's there's people that are able to blend all
- 45:26Speaker 1: that kind of together and do it all together, like
- 45:28Speaker 1: Kendrick or like Kendrick J. Cole push your team again,
- 45:31Speaker 1: like yeah, and even like at the end of the day. Really, lyricism,
- 45:37Speaker 1: like songwriting and lyricism are two different things. People think
- 45:40Speaker 1: that just because you can put bars together, it means
- 45:42Speaker 1: you know how to craft a record. There's a whole
- 45:45Speaker 1: bunch of different nuances, you know, yeah, for sure. And
- 45:49Speaker 1: then there's a guy's like Black thought who or just
- 45:51Speaker 1: Black Thoughts, Apex Predator MCS that can just do everything.
- 45:55Speaker 1: He's a Jedi, Yeah, yeah who just you know, run
- 45:58Speaker 1: the entire game into the game. But can you do anything?
- 46:00Speaker 1: To revert back to a previous question you asked, what
- 46:04Speaker 1: would I do differently? I definitely would not let the
- 46:09Speaker 1: opinions of other people's dictate my emotions. It's something that
- 46:14Speaker 1: I've known because I've been on the internet for years,
- 46:16Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like I've been had an
- 46:18Speaker 1: active presence. I mean, the battle Rap scene kind of
- 46:21Speaker 1: blew up because of message boards and yeah, you know
- 46:25Speaker 1: what I mean, And I was from on the ground
- 46:27Speaker 1: floor of that. Since two thousand and five, in some capacity,
- 46:31Speaker 1: I've been in the public eye. However, I think that
- 46:35Speaker 1: this point in my life that I was in towards
- 46:37Speaker 1: the end of last year in the beginning of this
- 46:39Speaker 1: year was a very transitional time in my life, and
- 46:42Speaker 1: I was very vulnerable and probably shouldn't have been introduced
- 46:46Speaker 1: to an audience this big. I probably wasn't mentally prepared.
- 46:49Speaker 1: So make sure that my mental that my mental health
- 46:52Speaker 1: isn't a good place, and not allow the opinions of
- 46:55Speaker 1: others to dictate my emotions, you know, or criticism or praise. Hey,
- 47:00Speaker 1: we gotta stop the interview real quick to tell you

- 49:20Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I always thought Discord. I was on Discord once,
- 49:23Speaker 1: and it was because I'm a part of the I
- 49:25Speaker 1: talked about this. I was on there's like this flip
- 49:28Speaker 1: group where they like tell you what to buy and
- 49:30Speaker 1: what you could flip it for, right right right, And
- 49:32Speaker 1: it was I had to download Discord and and then
- 49:34Speaker 1: I guess it's for gaming and ship. I guess all
- 49:36Speaker 1: different kinds of ship. Yeah, yeah, Discord is good. It's
- 49:38Speaker 1: a build a community, very valuable tool, like I'm is
- 49:41Speaker 1: there a bootleg keV reddit community? Or I don't want
- 49:45Speaker 1: that ship? I feel you don't make one. We're good, Yeah,
- 49:52Speaker 1: we're good, buddy. I learned. I learned a lot, though,
- 49:55Speaker 1: and I'm grateful for it. And you know, have you
- 49:57Speaker 1: talked to Adam since? I? Have I spoken to Adams
- 50:01Speaker 1: since the morning after that all went down, because I
- 50:06Speaker 1: was kind of like I wasn't even really one hundred
- 50:08Speaker 1: percent sure if I were, even though I was like
- 50:11Speaker 1: it was still yeah, but it was like you just
- 50:13Speaker 1: went off what you saw on that stream and could
- 50:15Speaker 1: be like open ended. It was. It was done out,
- 50:17Speaker 1: it was done out of passion, like let me see
- 50:19Speaker 1: if there's any reasoning with this guy. In the morning,
- 50:22Speaker 1: sometimes people feel a little bit different. You know, I
- 50:25Speaker 1: sent him a text. He was just kind of like, hey,
- 50:29Speaker 1: you know, that's it. But he what he did say
- 50:33Speaker 1: was I'm not gonna be bad mouthing you or slandering you,
- 50:38Speaker 1: and I was like, okay, cool, neither will. I then
- 50:41Speaker 1: proceeded to call me a snake multiple times on several
- 50:46Speaker 1: different podcasts and talked down on me. So it's kind
- 50:50Speaker 1: of like, you know, I don't have any hate in
- 50:52Speaker 1: my heart towards him. But I'm a little confused by that.
- 50:55Speaker 1: What about Josh. Josh and I have texted on about
- 51:00Speaker 1: business a couple of times, but check. That's kind of
- 51:04Speaker 1: like but that's essentially like the end of you know,
- 51:07Speaker 1: and I'm cool Josh. I have no problem with ultimately,
- 51:10Speaker 1: and so at the end of the days, you know,
- 51:13Speaker 1: we we all straight. I still talk to a d
- 51:16Speaker 1: I still talk to tral house phone everybody. They'll be
- 51:20Speaker 1: appearing on my pod occasionally. I might make some appearances
- 51:24Speaker 1: over there. Have you. I know you've just talked to
- 51:26Speaker 1: Smack this morning. I know you've been doing your I
- 51:29Speaker 1: saw who's the white guy you're on camera with on
- 51:35Speaker 1: you It's like it's a YouTube channel. It's that YouTube channel,
- 51:37Speaker 1: oh ruin your Day. Yeah, okay, so like have you
- 51:41Speaker 1: already started your your actual I have my own individual
- 51:45Speaker 1: channel that's lush World. Yeah no, so lush World is
- 51:48Speaker 1: actually be cause here's the thing. That channel, that ruin
- 51:50Speaker 1: your Day channel is something that I've been active in
- 51:55Speaker 1: actively a part of building since like twenty fifteen. So
- 51:58Speaker 1: you already were a part of that, yeah, yeah, you
- 52:01Speaker 1: know and helped build a lot of the subs up.
- 52:04Speaker 1: And then when I, you know, had a discussion with him,
- 52:06Speaker 1: is this is going to be my home on YouTube
- 52:09Speaker 1: for curating content since there's already an audience built in.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Business wise, him and I have an understanding and so
- 52:16Speaker 1: I consider that channel as much mine as anybody else's. Okay,
- 52:20Speaker 1: So then that's where the Lush world stuff's going. Yeah,
- 52:22Speaker 1: Lush Rold's over there. There's a GTX channel for battles,
- 52:25Speaker 1: there's I have my own channel for music. So yeah,
- 52:29Speaker 1: are you still gonna make music? I'm I'm always gonna
- 52:31Speaker 1: make music. That's a that's just a part of who
- 52:34Speaker 1: I am, you know what I mean. Like I got
- 52:35Speaker 1: my distribution deal with my label with John Arbano and
- 52:39Speaker 1: Marissa Orbano called snow Cone Records, which is we under
- 52:43Speaker 1: Sony Orchard, so like you know, but it's not paying
- 52:46Speaker 1: the bills. But occasionally I'll get a placement and it'll
- 52:50Speaker 1: pop up, like I just got a placement in the show.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Like you would do it for free? I would always
- 52:55Speaker 1: I would do it for free. Probably recently got a
- 52:56Speaker 1: placement in a film called Sick, which is on the
- 53:00Speaker 1: Peacock Network, So you know, get a little bag here
- 53:02Speaker 1: and there, and when you got your teeth done? Yeah,
- 53:06Speaker 1: did you do it here? Did you go to different car?
- 53:07Speaker 1: I did hear? Oh you did? Yeah? Yeah yeah. And
- 53:10Speaker 1: these are actually temporaries that are gonna be people who
- 53:13Speaker 1: don't know because are you are you doing the implants? Yeah?
- 53:16Speaker 1: These these are so right? Now is a bridge. I
- 53:18Speaker 1: have a bridge on top and a bridge on the bottom.
- 53:20Speaker 1: It's not like dentures. I can't take you. You're gonna
- 53:22Speaker 1: gets right, yeah. Yeah, And so you're not even getting veneers. No, no, no, no,
- 53:27Speaker 1: they didn't. I have no real boys. Yeah yeah, I
- 53:29Speaker 1: have no teeth left on the top or the bottom
- 53:31Speaker 1: in between my caneines. They cemented a bridge and so
- 53:34Speaker 1: temporary that's there. And I'll just tell you're gonna be
- 53:37Speaker 1: out for a while. I'll tell you this though, Bootleg Keev,
- 53:39Speaker 1: the pussy quotient is through the roof. Good for you
- 53:42Speaker 1: knocking them down there. I'm glad to hear it. I'm
- 53:45Speaker 1: knocking them down. Where are you finding them? Redit they
- 53:47Speaker 1: finding me? They finding me? It's crazy, like I don't know.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I was gonna say, Jesus Christ, we gotta get this valcrow.
- 53:56Speaker 1: You gotta get it cemented like my damn teeth. For sure.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I was gonna say, I always what are are no
- 54:02Speaker 1: jumper groupies or battle wrap groupies? Are they? Like? What
- 54:06Speaker 1: kind of because I would say the ugliest groupies in
- 54:08Speaker 1: the world are Juggalos. Yeah. Yeah, like ICP's groupies. God
- 54:11Speaker 1: bless them. Just talk about fuck it speaking of meth
- 54:14Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. Yeah, I'm not trying to have an orgy
- 54:17Speaker 1: at the gathering. Yeah, no disrespect to the my Juggalos
- 54:20Speaker 1: you feel, Yeah, shout out, I love y'all. Have you
- 54:23Speaker 1: been to the gathering? I have not. I would love
- 54:25Speaker 1: to go to the gathering. I heard there's a drug tent. Yeah,
- 54:28Speaker 1: I know there's a drug bridge, I believe it. And
- 54:30Speaker 1: then there's like a TP where there's just a bitch
- 54:33Speaker 1: in there, the gang, the orgy, the orgy tent. What's
- 54:35Speaker 1: that like? Welfare bumblebee tuna, child molestation, Yeah, like a
- 54:43Speaker 1: kind of a bit of all that. Yeah, twenty seven
- 54:46Speaker 1: year old chicken there who got fucked by her uncle
- 54:47Speaker 1: and her brother at once, and now she's getting tattooed
- 54:51Speaker 1: on her neck. Right. But I would say there's there's
- 54:55Speaker 1: fucking second grade teachers in this world. Right now with
- 54:57Speaker 1: hatchet man statooed on their body. You know, that's actually
- 55:00Speaker 1: considered a very right And there's like in certain states
- 55:05Speaker 1: like Utah, for I'm gonna say it's Utah. Yeah, yeah,
- 55:08Speaker 1: they're very well versed. So I love the Juggalos as well.
- 55:12Speaker 1: There I don't love them, but you know, I'm fascinated.
- 55:15Speaker 1: But there's a differences fascinated by serial killers. There's seventeen percenters,
- 55:21Speaker 1: but they're in Utah. In Utah, there was some Juggalo
- 55:27Speaker 1: wound up killing Sereno and now there's a fucking green
- 55:32Speaker 1: light in the Utah penitentiary system for anybody with the
- 55:37Speaker 1: hatchetman tat. So I've been told. So the South Sider
- 55:40Speaker 1: has got beef with the Juggals in Utah. Yes, And
- 55:42Speaker 1: I don't know if that's still a thing, but this was, Yeah,
- 55:45Speaker 1: that's interesting. Yeah, and you can they're Juggalo Mormons or
- 55:51Speaker 1: South Side Mormons. I don't know. But and just to
- 55:53Speaker 1: make it clear, this is not something that I'm bringing
- 55:56Speaker 1: to the Internet. This is something that's already known. If
- 55:59Speaker 1: you you know, tap into from places you t have
- 56:01Speaker 1: you have you ever done a battle in you I've
- 56:02Speaker 1: been to Salt like, yeah, it's cool. It's fun out there,
- 56:05Speaker 1: is it? It is? But as far as groupies, I'll
- 56:07Speaker 1: tell you this, No Jumper groupies are levels beyond the
- 56:12Speaker 1: battle rap groupies. Yeah, yeah, they are. Gotta be honest.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Can you imagine the kind of chick that just is
- 56:17Speaker 1: like every battle she's there, just there. There's like some
- 56:20Speaker 1: cute ones. I'm not gonna lie like we you know,
- 56:22Speaker 1: like there's some cute battle rap chicks, but it's definitely
- 56:26Speaker 1: like the the bitches that are the bitches that are
- 56:29Speaker 1: in in the No Jumper a lot of them were
- 56:32Speaker 1: aspiring only fans models, you know what I mean? Like,
- 56:35Speaker 1: did you ever get any porn chick pussy over there?
- 56:37Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah yeah, just just being over there? Yeah, absolutely, yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 1: anybody would talk about nothing. I can. You know what
- 56:45Speaker 1: I don't want to do you ever take on the
- 56:46Speaker 1: Asian chick with the ass? Look here's it. No, I
- 56:48Speaker 1: did not. But here's the thing. If I wind up Kazumi,
- 56:51Speaker 1: yeah yeah you never Zuomi. No, But like if I did,
- 56:55Speaker 1: I wouldn't say because here's the thing that makes me
- 56:57Speaker 1: look super lame. I'm not gonna not gonna speak on
- 57:00Speaker 1: my dick. And then what other bitches that might be
- 57:03Speaker 1: interested in throwing me some pushy they yoused. This ude
- 57:07Speaker 1: got a big mouth. Accumulative body count too. The body
- 57:10Speaker 1: count is one thing. But like he's he's gonna put
- 57:13Speaker 1: me on blast, I will never put you on blast,
- 57:16Speaker 1: baby girl. So you're single, I'm singing a little currently
- 57:19Speaker 1: good for you? Man? Yeah? Yeah, Well listen, man, I
- 57:22Speaker 1: was heartbroken last year. You feel me I got? Was
- 57:24Speaker 1: that your fiance? That was which one? Because you said
- 57:27Speaker 1: your fiance was that? It broke your heart? Well, I
- 57:30Speaker 1: kind of it was my fault. Yeah yeah, please pause.
- 57:35Speaker 1: So so you were supposed to get married, Yes, didn't
- 57:38Speaker 1: work out. Didn't work out? Who knows what the future holds. Yeah, yeah,
- 57:41Speaker 1: that's what's up. Man. Well look, I'm glad you're sober.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Appreciate you stay sober. No, it's a tough journey. Man.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Do you go to meetings every week? I do? I
- 57:48Speaker 1: do several times a week. She get the coins and
- 57:51Speaker 1: all that. Yep, got my three year coin about a
- 57:53Speaker 1: month and a half. Was my sobriety birthday is February third. Wow.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Well congrats man, stay sober, buddy, got to and keep uh,
- 58:01Speaker 1: just one thing I'll tell you man is. I know
- 58:04Speaker 1: it's very easy, and we already talked about this a
- 58:07Speaker 1: bit earlier. Don't pay attention to the comments, and don't
- 58:10Speaker 1: pay attention to what anybody else is doing, because I'm
- 58:13Speaker 1: sure it's easy to look over and be like, oh shit,
- 58:16Speaker 1: this is happening over here. This is just worry about
- 58:19Speaker 1: building your own shit brick by brick. Don't compare Dix
- 58:21Speaker 1: of the Gang Bang. For sure, you feel me. But
- 58:25Speaker 1: with that being said, with that being said, keV, it's
- 58:30Speaker 1: cool to actually chop it up with you. Get to
- 58:32Speaker 1: know you. You You feel me, sir. You might have more
- 58:33Speaker 1: in common than I initially even both old white dudes
- 58:37Speaker 1: who like Ratten music. Yeah you feel me? So how
- 58:39Speaker 1: old are you? I'm forty one, Okay, I'm thirty six.
- 58:41Speaker 1: So do you know where? Yeah? Yeah, well you know, yeah,
- 58:45Speaker 1: we definitely are both just old dusty hip hop. You
- 58:47Speaker 1: feel me spinning dusty pieces of wax, you know the vibes.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Come appreciate you, brother man, Yeah you as well, Sir Boo,
