Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the program. In
• 0:03
this episode, we're going to pick back up where we
• 0:05
left off with the Grooming Gang's report coming out of England.
• 0:10
Overview of crimes, rape gangs have exploited children systematically across
• 0:16
every region of the United Kingdom for decades. The independent
• 0:21
chair of the Center of Excellence for Children's Care and Protection,
• 0:25
Alexis j has identified the nineteen seventies as the decade
• 0:29
when immigrant rape gangs first began tormenting the girls of Britain. However,
• 0:35
the British newspaper Archive reveals that the first recorded case
• 0:38
of specifically Pakistani rape gangs dates back to nineteen fifty five,
• 0:43
when four Bradford based Pakistanis were charged with raping a
• 0:48
fifteen year old girl from Middlesbrough. This was soon after
• 0:52
former colonial subjects from the subcontinent as much as the Caribbean,
• 0:57
became eligible to enter the UK in nontrivia numbers under
• 1:01
the British Nationality Act of nineteen forty eight. What began
• 1:06
as a singular and small scale instance became systematic and
• 1:10
industrial over time. These horrific crimes have only escalated in
• 1:15
recent decades, especially following Tony Blair's ninety seven victory and
• 1:20
the start of orchestrated mass immigration. With greater numbers came
• 1:25
greater opportunities for abuse. Perpetrators built organized networks that transported
• 1:30
victims between towns and cities and past girls between multiple
• 1:35
adult men. In each of these areas that same tactics
• 1:39
were used. Girls as young as eleven were targeted with gifts, alcohol,
• 1:44
and drugs, collected in taxis from school gates, care homes
• 1:48
and streets, and taken to houses, flats, restaurants, and hotels,
• 1:53
and then raped repeatedly by groups of men passed between perpetrators,
• 1:57
trafficked across county lines, and in many cases impregnated or
• 2:02
forced into abortions. Most victims endured violence were filmed for
• 2:06
blackmail or told that they were white trash or coffer
• 2:10
who deserve punishment. The authorities at every level, including the police,
• 2:15
social services, health services, schools, licensing bodies, and politicians, knew
• 2:21
the patterns, possessed the intelligence, and still failed to protect
• 2:25
the country's children. The evidence establishes that a national scandal
• 2:29
of repeated rape, trafficking, torture, pregnancy, forced Islamic conversion and
• 2:35
lifelong trauma enabled by institutional denial, political calculation and fear
• 2:41
of the accusation of racism, took place over decades. The
• 2:45
incidents of criminal activities listed in this report are drawn
• 2:49
from court records, official and unofficial inquiries across the country,
• 2:53
and witness testimony provided to the Inquiry. They confirmed that
• 2:58
this was never a series of isolated local failures. It
• 3:02
was a coordinated nationwide pattern of organized child sexual exploitation
• 3:08
that repeated in town after town, city after city, from
• 3:12
the far north to the south coast. The same ethnic
• 3:16
and religious profile of the perpetrators was documented throughout almost
• 3:20
all of the witnesses who contacted the inquiry. The scale
• 3:26
of the rape gang phenomenon is endemic across the entirety
• 3:29
of Britain. The two hundred and fifty thousand figure originates
• 3:33
directly from a statement in the House of Lords by
• 3:35
Lord Pearson of Rannik on May fourteenth, twenty nineteen. Do
• 3:41
the Government accept that if we extrapolate nationally the Jay
• 3:44
report on Roterham and other reports from Telford and Oxford,
• 3:49
there appear to have been upwards of two hundred and
• 3:52
fifty thousand young white girls raped in this country. Very
• 3:55
largely by Muslim Men, usually several times a day for years.
• 4:00
He added that this number is probably an underestimate. This
• 4:05
extrapolation now has greater support due to further data that's
• 4:10
been collected derived from scaling the patterns documented in major inquiries.
• 4:15
Roderham Jay Report twenty fourteen at least fourteen hundred girls
• 4:19
abused between nineteen ninety seven and twenty thirteen, with some
• 4:24
updated estimates exceeding this. Perpetrators were overwhelmingly Pakistani muslim Men.
• 4:31
The Telford Inquiry twenty twenty two more than one thousand
• 4:34
children predominantly grows over decades, again with the same perpetrator
• 4:38
profile national footprint. The Grumen gang model has been confirmed
• 4:44
in dozens of towns and cities. Our independent inquiry, led
• 4:47
by Rupert Lowe MP, has heard evidence demonstrating coordinated operations
• 4:52
extending to all four corners of the country in at
• 4:55
least one hundred and forty nine local authority districts. When
• 4:59
the rotter had Telford scale is applied across the documented
• 5:02
national distribution and multiplied by the extreme under reporting factor
• 5:06
accepted by official reviews, the total reaches the two hundred
• 5:11
and fifty thousand threshold as a bare minimum, we are
• 5:14
far from grasping the full extent of grooming gang criminality
• 5:17
in modern Britain. It's reasonable to assume that since sexual
• 5:22
abuse of all kinds tends to be under reported, this
• 5:25
is also true of grooming gangs. The Independent has reported
• 5:29
that almost nineteen thousand children were identified as sexual exploitation
• 5:34
victims in England in one year alone, despite the reluctance
• 5:37
of state actors to name or tackle the problem of
• 5:40
the rape gangs after decades of abuse, victims must number
• 5:44
in the hundreds of thousands. The full scale is not
• 5:48
yet known. Every major review has emphasized that recorded statistics
• 5:54
severely under state reality Barness Casey National Audit on group
• 5:58
based child sexual act Exploitation Abuse June twenty twenty five.
• 6:03
The audit explicitly states that the scale, nature and characteristics
• 6:07
of group based child's sexual exploitation remained impossible to quantify
• 6:12
precisely due to inconsistent data collection and historical suppression. Independent
• 6:18
Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse se SA and multiple local
• 6:23
inquiries twenty twenty two and twenty twenty five. It's simply
• 6:28
not possible to know the scale because ethnicity, group offending
• 6:32
and historical cases were routinely unrecorded or shelved to protect
• 6:36
community cohesion. Overleaf is a heat map that portrays the
• 6:40
various locations in which the inquiry can be sure the
• 6:44
rape gangs operated. It's likely that the true extent is
• 6:48
far worse. The scale, the tactics, the perpetrator profile, and
• 6:54
the systematic inaction were almost always identical. Everywhere Britain did
• 6:58
not face does it of separate local scandals, It faced
• 7:02
one national scandal that the state allowed to grow for
• 7:07
decades London. London stands exposed as the epicenter of institutional
• 7:13
denial in the grooming gang scandal. While northern towns face
• 7:17
public inquiries after the truth emerged, the capital maintained a
• 7:21
wall of silence for years. The Mayor of London, Sadik Khan,
• 7:25
has repeatedly insisted that there were no grooming gangs operating
• 7:28
in the city. As our inquiry heard from Susan Hall,
• 7:32
leader of the Conservatives in London Assembly, the right gang
• 7:37
phenomenon is in fact endemic within the capital. After challenging
• 7:41
Khan about the presence of such gangs in London, Hall
• 7:44
was inundated with calls from women and girls purporting to
• 7:48
be victims of their predation. Khan described evidence from whistleblowers
• 7:52
as malicious and politically motivated. He told the London Assembly
• 7:57
that the problem was far more complex than in any
• 8:00
other part of the country and that young people were
• 8:03
being exploited through country lines rather than organized, group based
• 8:07
child sexual exploitation. These statements were made despite the Metro
• 8:12
Police holding reports of young girls be implied with alcohol
• 8:15
and drugs and then raped by groups of men in
• 8:18
hotels and other locations across the capitol. A Daily Express
• 8:24
in investigation revealed that Khan had direct access to hm
• 8:28
Inspectorate of Constabulary detailing exactly these patterns of offending. He
• 8:33
read the files, yet continued to deny the existence of
• 8:37
grooming gangs in public. Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philip MP
• 8:42
has accused Kahan of facilitating a cover up, and other
• 8:45
politicians stated that both the mayor and the Metropolitan Police
• 8:49
had been denying grooming gangs in London. Campaigners, including whistleblower
• 8:54
Maggie Oliver and Chris Wilde, described the capital as the
• 8:57
last bastion of denial and warned that the scale of
• 9:00
abuse there was more catastrophic than anywhere else in the country.
• 9:06
The evidence now emerging confirms their warnings. In October of
• 9:11
twenty twenty five, the Metropolitan Police announced a review of
• 9:15
nine thousand child sexual exploitation cases. The National Crime Agency
• 9:20
launched Operation Beaconport to examine thousands more files nationwide after
• 9:25
initial assessments found human errors, misslines of inquiry and cases
• 9:30
wrongly dropped. London forms a significant part of this backlog.
• 9:35
A former Metro Police detective has described industrial scale child
• 9:40
prostitution and grooming in the capitol, with authorities aware but
• 9:44
apting for inaction due to a mixture of incompetence, laziness
• 9:48
and corruption. London has the largest Muslim population in Britain,
• 9:54
con relies on significant electoral support from those communities, as
• 9:58
well as having an ethno religious mi to protect the
• 10:01
public reputation of Pakistani Muslims. In particular, widespread acknowledgment of
• 10:07
organized networks of predominantly Pakistani Muslim men targeting vulnerable white
• 10:11
girls would have shattered the narrative of community cohesion that
• 10:15
success of London administrations none more than cons have promoted
• 10:21
as for others in authority, Fears of being labeled racist
• 10:25
paralyzed the Metro Police and City Hall in the same
• 10:27
way it did the Rotterham and Rochdell before them. One
• 10:32
anonymous whistleblower told us that boys as well as girls
• 10:35
aren't especially vulnerable target for criminal gangs typically Albanian, Somali
• 10:40
or Turkish operating in the Capitol. Yet relevant bodies still
• 10:45
refused to collect data on ethnicity, willfully rendering themselves blind
• 10:50
to the very behavioral patterns that are supposed to aid
• 10:53
law enforcement in its pursuit of justice. The Metro Police review,
• 10:58
the National Crime Agency operation and the witness accounts pouring
• 11:01
in prove that group based child's sexual exploitation has thrived
• 11:07
in our capital city. This inquiry records the failure without reservation.
• 11:11
Con and his senior leadership of the Metro Police must
• 11:15
answer for their role in this scandal. Until the Capital
• 11:19
confronts the truth with the same rigor now demanded elsewhere,
• 11:22
the children of London remain at risk and the state
• 11:26
remains complicit. All right, folks, we're gonna wrap up right
• 11:29
here and in the next episode dealing with the topic,
• 11:32
we're gonna get to victim testimony. All the information that
• 11:36
goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
