  Today we're talking about something so many women ask. How do I know if he's

  a good godly man? Because here's the truth.

  Not every man who says he's a Christian is God-led.

  And discernment, discernment is your key.

  That's the key that unlocks the door. When God created us, he had relationship in mind.

  In Genesis 2.18, God said, it is not good for man to be alone.

  I will make a helper suitable for him.
• 2:30
  Marriage wasn't an accident. It was a part of God's design.

  But just because marriage is God's design doesn't mean every man is your husband.

  That's where discernment comes in. Because the Bible also warns us in 2 Corinthians

  6.14, do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.

  God is very clear. A good godly man must first be a follower of Christ.

  But let's be real for a minute.

  Even that alone isn't enough, because the Bible also says in 2 Corinthians 11.14,

  Satan disguises himself as

  an angel of light, meaning some people can look spiritual on the outside.

  That's why the real test is fruit.

  Jesus said in Matthew 7, 16, you will know them by their fruits.

  Not by their words, but by their fruit.

  Since before your heart gets involved, I want you to ask yourself,

  are you praying about him?

  Have you actually asked God if this man is from him?

  Did you consult with God before letting him into your heart?

  Have you used your discernment?

  Does this man show the fruit of the Spirit?

  Love, patience, kindness, gentleness? Or does he rush you? Because let me say

  something very important.

  Any man that wants to rush the relationship is not sent from God.

  God builds things slowly and intentionally. Love bombing is not love, it's manipulation.

  Healthy love grows like a tree. In Jeremiah 17, seven through eight,

  the Bible talks about a tree planted by water whose roots grow deep.

  Real relationships need roots.

  Time reveals character and character reveals truth.

  Sis, I cannot express it enough, but discernment is everything.

  I have spoken to many women that tell me after they left a toxic relationship,

  they actually ended up in about one or two more of them before they finally

  were like, okay, what am I doing wrong here?

  When you walk closely with God, your spiritual senses become sharper.

  Prayer becomes your protection.
• 4:51
  The Holy Spirit becomes your guide, and you start to notice things you didn't before.

  You begin to trust that quiet voice inside that says, pay attention or peace,

  because that voice, that's not just intuition. That's the Holy Spirit.

  It just really gives me a sense of peace, and it makes me feel alive for some

  The question isn't just, is he a good guy?

  The question is, did God send him?

  Because when God sends a man, his character will reveal it over time.

  Not through pressure, not through rushing, but through fruit.

  So, your royal assignment. I want you to spend time in prayer this week asking

  God, Lord, help me grow in discernment.

  And if you are currently dating someone, ask God to show you his fruit.

  God will reveal what you need to see. This is why it's so important to draw

  near to God so he can speak to you.

  With these ladies getting into more toxic relationships, it's because we're

  not going to God in prayer.

  We're not using discernment. We're just rushing in, and we have to stop rushing in.

  Good relationships take time.

  Let's pray. Father God, thank you for caring about the relationships in our lives.

  Give your daughters wisdom and discernment. Protect them from deception.

  Help them recognize the difference between manipulation and godly character.

  Lead them to the men you have truly prepared for them.

  And give them the patience to wait for your very best.
