- 0:54Speaker 2: he was out there Raheem devon concert and people was
- 0:57Speaker 2: complimenting you. You know, yeah, I don't know what you're
- 1:01Speaker 2: talking about. Your hair look fine. Yeah, obviously they short
- 1:04Speaker 2: it in him. No way you can see what I
- 1:09Speaker 2: see and not realize there is a problem. There is
- 1:13Speaker 2: no way from this view up here that you don't
- 1:19Speaker 2: recognize the problem. I want to say a couple of
- 1:24Speaker 2: things in my clothes, remarks that I wasn't able to
- 1:26Speaker 2: say because I've been gone away the passing of some
- 1:31Speaker 2: old friends of mine. There's a couple doctor Melanie Macklin,
- 1:37Speaker 2: who used to be a correspondent on this show for
- 1:41Speaker 2: skincare for Health and Beauty. She had a brand called
- 1:47Speaker 2: Bellinutrie that I've used, very very good products. I just
- 1:52Speaker 2: since I wasn't here, I wasn't able to do this.
- 1:54Speaker 2: But now I'm back, I want to say condolences to her,
- 1:57Speaker 2: her family, her husband, her daughter, who graduated from Howard.
- 2:01Speaker 2: She was a Howard University graduate. She was also a
- 2:07Speaker 2: proud member of AKA and just a super dope person, man,
- 2:13Speaker 2: I mean a super dope person. Her husband actually text
- 2:18Speaker 2: me the morning that she passed and just wanted to
- 2:22Speaker 2: let you know, man, my queen has gone on to
- 2:24Speaker 2: see the Lord. And it threw me because I went like, Wow,
- 2:29Speaker 2: that really really threw me, man, because she was such
- 2:31Speaker 2: a kind person. I knew. I didn't know anything about
- 2:35Speaker 2: her illness or nothing, so I'm assuming it was sudden.
- 2:37Speaker 2: But what a sweetheart of a person. Man. I met
- 2:41Speaker 2: them when I was performing at Dark Constitution Hall in
- 2:45Speaker 2: DC one night and they just came backstage and we
- 2:49Speaker 2: stayed cool every since then. Just a bright woman, man,
- 2:53Speaker 2: Just such a I mean a glowing personality. Man, Doctor
- 2:58Speaker 2: Melanie Macklin from how University and AKA passed away, and
- 3:03Speaker 2: that really that really bothered me. So I wanted to
- 3:05Speaker 2: come back on the radio and say something about her
- 3:08Speaker 2: and condolences to her and her family. She had a
- 3:10Speaker 2: beautiful daughter, everything. Man, So I know it's tough and
- 3:14Speaker 2: I have no words except to just keep talking to God.
- 3:18Speaker 2: God can get you through anything. The second thing that
- 3:21Speaker 2: I wanted to say was the passing of Minister Lewis
- 3:25Speaker 2: Fara Khan's wife, mother Khadiza or who I've met several
- 3:30Speaker 2: times at their ranch, who I've met several times in
- 3:36Speaker 2: La sitting in hotel rooms. We spent a lot of
- 3:39Speaker 2: time talking at the hospital once. What a wonderful, wonderful
- 3:45Speaker 2: woman mother Khadiza was. She was the wife of Minister
- 3:50Speaker 2: Lewis Fharra Khan. What an incredibly wonderful woman this was.
- 3:56Speaker 2: You know, you can't you can't understand how important a
- 4:02Speaker 2: wife or a woman is to a person like that,
- 4:07Speaker 2: a man with this magnitude, this much of a public figure.
- 4:12Speaker 2: That woman is so critical. Man. She was just a
- 4:15Speaker 2: really really kind person, man, really kind person. She was
- 4:20Speaker 2: the only person that I knew could make him do something.
- 4:24Speaker 2: It was so funny. Man, I'd be sitting with such
- 4:26Speaker 2: a powerful man listening to him, and she'll go, she'll
- 4:29Speaker 2: lean over, go We're not gonna do that, and then
- 4:32Speaker 2: he'll just go, okay, baby. It was just amazing to
- 4:35Speaker 2: watch how she was and her sons. I knew him.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I was the closest with Musta for so I knew
- 4:43Speaker 2: the other ones. You know, I'm not gonna call you
- 4:45Speaker 2: by name, but all of y'all, man, condolences to everybody
- 4:50Speaker 2: in the Nation of Islam who suffered this loss, but
- 4:53Speaker 2: especially to my brother, Minister Lewis Farha Khan. I just
- 4:56Speaker 2: wanted to say I've been off the air and I
- 4:58Speaker 2: didn't get a chance to say it. But when I
- 4:59Speaker 2: came I am back, I wanted to make sure. I
- 5:01Speaker 2: wanted to say deepest condolences to one of the most
- 5:04Speaker 2: beautiful souls I've ever met. I mean, this woman was
- 5:07Speaker 2: a beautiful soul man uh what they called the mother Kadesion.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I did too, So I just wanted to say condolences
- 5:14Speaker 2: to them. And so those are the two things I
- 5:16Speaker 2: want to do pay tribute to when I came back.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Also want to mention man that we have got to
- 5:21Speaker 2: get ourselves together on the front line over here. Our
- 5:25Speaker 2: culture is under attack. Our whole existence in this country
- 5:30Speaker 2: is under attack. All of the strides we've made is
- 5:34Speaker 2: under attack. We've got to be conscious, man, of what
- 5:39Speaker 2: this administration really is towards us and to all people.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Because I don't understand Latinos for Trump. I don't understand
- 5:49Speaker 2: Blacks for Trump. If you could tell me why you
- 5:52Speaker 2: are Black for Trump, please call the show and explain
- 5:55Speaker 2: to me. And if you're an Latino for Trump, could
- 5:58Speaker 2: you please call the show and explain it to me.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Tell me what good this man is doing for you
- 6:06Speaker 2: in any capacity so I can understand how you feel
- 6:10Speaker 2: what you feel. I just wanted to say that. So
- 6:13Speaker 2: we've got to get on point with this voting. We
- 6:16Speaker 2: have a chance to bring back some control in the
- 6:18Speaker 2: Senate and the House, and we got to get the
- 6:21Speaker 2: voting man, it's the only real chance. Hey man, I'm
- 6:24Speaker 2: back return of the MAC. Y'all feel good about yourself.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Talk to God today. You'd absolutely love to hear from me, Junior.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Y'all hanging that boy hanging there because it.
