  [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to talk about the players they sign, talk about the players they lost, talk about some restructures, talk about some cuts, talk about what the Jaguar is might be doing next, all right here right now, getting you ready for day two of legal tampering slash for agency.

  [SPEAKER_00]: For agency doesn't officially begin until Wednesday, March 11th at 4 p.m. Eastern time when they start of the newly year commences and that is when all these deals kind of become official for the most part.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now the Jaguars, the latest news is this morning they restructured Robert Hansie's contract, creating about $4 million in cap space, according to over the cap.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's say another move that's just creating a little bit more wiggle room, a little bit more cap space.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars have to be a cap compliant by the start of the newly year Wednesday, March 11th, 4 PM Eastern Time, Robert Hainesy, a player that they obviously feel very comfortable with, so they restructure the contract, probably add a little bit of wood years on the back end, probably add a signing bonus, and then

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yesterday they also cut Johnny Month last evening yesterday evening.

  [SPEAKER_00]: uh... yet we'll see what that is exactly i know all the connolly reported that it was six million per year i haven't seen that anywhere else so uh... will will wait to see exactly what it ends up being but as far as the bus to brown deal goes i'm happy to have him back i personally think for the jackwars keeping bus to brown well not personally think i know based on the jackwars actions they've valued retaining bus to brown

  [SPEAKER_00]: At his number, more than Travis C. T. N. who is now a New Orleans saying that 13 million per year, or Devin Lloyd, who is now a Carolina Panther at 15 million per year, I personally

  [SPEAKER_00]: and an agreement with that assessment, like if you're only going to keep one of them, I agree that it should have been Buster Brown.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is a perfect fit for the Jaguar Zone-based defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: CB2 to Travis Hunter's CB1, in my opinion, you also have Jarring Jones, Jordan Lewis, Christian Braswell, Keith Taylor.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think the Jaguar's have a really nice looking corner back room right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And Buster Brown is a playmaker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Tyler's worker, smart football player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he was really damn good for the Jaguar last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I expect him to be really damn good for the Jaguars again in 2020, 26, excuse me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So the thing with Buster Brown, he's making $11 million per year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That is like outside of the top 25 at the corner back position.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 11 million dollars per year at corner is not the same as 15 million dollars per year at linebacker or 13 million dollars per year running back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Devon Lloyd is now a top four highest paid linebacker tied, top four highest paid linebacker and football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 15 million per year, I mean, he's getting paid elite money at the linebacker position.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, a top seven running back in football in terms of his contract value, average per year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you've got two guys that I really love watching them play football in 2025.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Devon had some more ups and downs to their eyes career, Travis E.T.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and had some ups and downs too, but I think they're both damn good football players and excited to see what they can do, especially in the town that they're not joining another AFC team, they're joining two teams in the NFC South, so you don't have to really worry about, you know.

  [SPEAKER_00]: having to face them all the time, having to see them in the AFC South, anything like that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I also understand why James Ladsson, with the Jaguar's current cap situation, did not feel that it was the most, advantageous use of the Jaguar's cap resources,

  [SPEAKER_00]: to sign Devon Lloyd to a top four contract at the line-backer position, or to sign Travis ET into a top seven contract at the running-backed position.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Rashad White just makes so much sense for the jacks, but Sean Tucker also has experience with Liam Cohen, but to me, white is kind of the total package

  [SPEAKER_00]: Good receiver, good pass protector, experience player, can do it all for you at running back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have Basial 2 and you have Lee Kunt Allen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You also do have Jacqueline and Jackson on the practice squad or the reserve slash future contract situation right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Rashad White makes a lot of sense, but if they want to go running back in the draft and in four go spending money at the position, there's offseason, I get that too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I like Basel Tutan a lot, and I love Lee Point Allen, so look, I like the guys they have.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I do think that you should add some more talent to that room, whether it be free agency or the draft, but I'm fine either way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When it comes to linebacker, I feel the same way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I like Vintro Miller and I like Jack Kaiser and don't forget where Luke is a star off ball linebacker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It seems like people forget that fact a lot or forget to bring it up when they're talking about this.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I've always kind of been team draft a linebacker to compete with Vintro to compete with Jack because this is an amazing draft for linebacker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The depth, the different skill sets, talent.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Sure, like, and Ventral Miller is a good player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people like Ventral Miller last year and more than they like to Devon Lloyd.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I still think Ventral Miller is a good player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I still think Jack Kaiser, drafted in the fourth round last year, will have a role in this defense at some point.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think you add a day two off-ball, while I'm backer, and you could be cooking.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Devin Lloyd's role was simplified and pretty specific.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a damn good player, but Anthony Campanile knew how to utilize him and his skillset to the maximum.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that you're gonna find somebody who has the same physical skill set or skill that Devon Lloyd has, not necessarily.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying you can't, like there's guys out there in this draft that I really love their tape and things that they can be great players.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Chiefs have had Nick Bolton and Drew Tranquil and they had Willie Gable for that and they've had guys, so Shenall has never had like this full-time role, but I think he would be really good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that Anthony Campani like an absolutely utilize his skill set, trying to make sure there's nothing going on here yet.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that Chanel could be really like he can blitz, he can hit, he's a good explosive athlete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Kaden Ellis is a really good blitz or as well, good football player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But again, I'm good if the Jack Wars want to wait to add competition on the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They could do that at 56, 81, 88, 100, there's going to be good linebackers available at each one of those spots.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not one of those things where I'm just like, oh, just wait till the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I legitimately love this linebacker class.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I love so many players like Jacob Rodriguez if he's there at 56 Jake Golday Anthony Hill.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm not saying the Jaguar's have to do it for 56 again.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they could do it with any of those day two picks, Murray's trying to say hi to everybody right now, say hi.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think the Jaguars are in a good spot to take a step forward here in 2026.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I know that people are upset about Devon Lloyd and Travis C. T. N. But you gotta understand the Jaguars cap situation is largely the way it is because of what the previous regime did.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And James Gladstone is kind of cleaning up that mess right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I honestly think that the jags might have kept one of Devon Lloyd or Travis E. T. N. if the cap situation was a lot healthier than it was, but you also have to factor in.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Eleigible for extensions this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Trayvon Walker, Parker Washington, Britain Strange, Antonio Johnson.

  [SPEAKER_00]: These are players you got to think about.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would like to see the Jaguars try to upgrade offensive line in the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would like to see the Jaguars try to upgrade the defensive front.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's the one thing I really want them to do before the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Defensive front.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Get ask kickers on the defensive front.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In the draft, I would like to see more of that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Do it in for agency slash trade and the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, you got to also keep in mind the jaguars are currently slated for Travis C. T. N. To get a fifth round comp pick in 2027 for Devin Lloyd to get a fourth or fifth round comp pick in 2027.

  [SPEAKER_00]: you don't want to ruin that formula by signing a high price free agent necessarily unless you just say, hey, this is too valuable of a player to pass on, but there's going to be non-compensatory free agents such as a Bradley Chub.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There's also going to be players you could trade for that will not impact the

  [SPEAKER_00]: Compend story pick formula.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There will also be free agents that are compensatory free agents, but they sign to a deal that's small enough that it does not impact the Compend formula very much at all.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really think fans should be Not excited about losing dev and loon and Travis ET and but I think that fans out there should have some confidence in this regime
