- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listenings KPI AM six forty the Bill Handles Show
- 0:04Speaker 1: on demand on the iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: App and now Handle on the news. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 0:17Speaker 2: here's Bill Handle.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Hey, good morning everybody. If you a Monday morning, December
- 0:24Speaker 1: once as we start new week and new month and
- 0:31Speaker 1: we end twenty twenty five, which is eh, kind of
- 0:34Speaker 1: that kind of a year. All right, we're on our
- 0:37Speaker 1: way to pastathon tomorrow morning. We'll be talking more about
- 0:40Speaker 1: that as we go throughout the show. And oh, lots
- 0:45Speaker 1: of fun stuff going on, Chris Paul, let me say
- 0:47Speaker 1: hello to one and all. Cono, good morning to you.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Good morning, William, there.
- 0:52Speaker 1: You go, and happy belated Thanksgiving. There is Amy, good morning,
- 0:58Speaker 1: happy happy camper, and good morning, good morning, good morning.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Is will still gone?
- 1:04Speaker 4: No, he's here here here?
- 1:05Speaker 1: Oh okay, I don't see you on the monitor. Will
- 1:09Speaker 1: good morning, good morning. I can hear you because this
- 1:12Speaker 1: is radio. I just can't see you because this is radio.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And then and then Neil Zavedra who is with us,
- 1:20Speaker 1: and Neil, I want to thank you for Filly in
- 1:23Speaker 1: Thursday and Friday. And I must say that I tuned
- 1:28Speaker 1: in on Thursday for a few minutes, and I've got
- 1:33Speaker 1: to be honest. I generally don't listen to you on Thanksgiving,
- 1:39Speaker 1: mainly because well it's I always felt that Thanksgiving, you
- 1:44Speaker 1: doing Thanksgiving was kind of a boring show, to be
- 1:47Speaker 1: honest with kids. But this year you outdid yourself with
- 1:53Speaker 1: a boringess. It was tremendous. I actually fell asleep driving
- 1:58Speaker 1: It was just you know that. I'm going to submit
- 2:02Speaker 1: your show to the National Association of Anesthesiologists. They have
- 2:07Speaker 1: an award every year. I can't hear you, Neil, Neil,
- 2:12Speaker 1: this is.
- 2:12Speaker 3: What I'm gonna do from now on.
- 2:15Speaker 5: I am not going to filter out all the calls
- 2:18Speaker 5: that we get. Okay, That's how it's going to be
- 2:23Speaker 5: from now on, all the talkbacks that we get, I'm
- 2:26Speaker 5: not filtering, so you'll hear what the audience thinks. But
- 2:32Speaker 5: I will tell you this, hen No, people enjoy it.
- 2:34Speaker 5: They are up, they're doing their thing, and I called
- 2:39Speaker 5: it right, Kno. Every year, I can tell you the
- 2:42Speaker 5: calls start at seven and I have a question.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Okay, yes, because I make fun of you. Know obviously
- 2:48Speaker 1: I make fun of you, and I will say, inevitably,
- 2:52Speaker 1: what Neil is going to get is how do I
- 2:54Speaker 1: defrost a frozen turkey? All right?
- 2:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 2:57Speaker 1: After Yeah, of course he did. I tuned in and
- 3:01Speaker 1: someone said, how do you defrost the frozen turkey?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Oh?
- 3:05Speaker 5: You have been doing head up on the Law for decades.
- 3:09Speaker 5: It's the exact same show every single Saturday, except every
- 3:14Speaker 5: Saturday except hang on this.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Oh you're filipido. Do you sing peelings?
- 3:20Speaker 5: Okay at the karaoke peelings?
- 3:23Speaker 3: Nothing more than peelings.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:26Speaker 5: How old are you, darling eighty? You sound one hundred.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Don't worry about your case. You're gonna die tomorrow, all right, Phil?
- 3:33Speaker 3: You want to Oh you want a divorce? It's cheaper
- 3:36Speaker 3: to killer. You want me to keep going? I know
- 3:39Speaker 3: them all.
- 3:42Speaker 1: The difference, Neil, Here is the difference. Okay. If I
- 3:44Speaker 1: can point something out, I try to get people with
- 3:47Speaker 1: a backstory. Okay, there is an underlying story, and that's
- 3:51Speaker 1: really what the show is about.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Do you want you?
- 3:56Speaker 1: On the other hand, yet, the same morons that call
- 4:00Speaker 1: year and ask how do you defrost a frozen turkey?
- 4:03Speaker 5: Are people that just want to connect on Thanksgiving? I
- 4:07Speaker 5: care about the people, the people, Bill, what's that about
- 4:11Speaker 5: humans connecting with one another? You dumbass. Okay, fair enough,
- 4:17Speaker 5: let me guess what you're gonna talk about today.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Trump. I'm scared.
- 4:22Speaker 5: I'm just first of the first time in my seventy
- 4:26Speaker 5: five year old life.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I'm scared.
- 4:29Speaker 1: First of all, I'm not seventy five, thank you.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I was on purpose.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 4:33Speaker 5: I went out and bought boots for the first time
- 4:36Speaker 5: in my life so I could shake in them.
- 4:38Speaker 3: That's how scared I am of Trump.
- 4:40Speaker 1: That's actually pretty good, O'Neil. That is not bad. I
- 4:44Speaker 1: have to give a.
- 4:45Speaker 3: You want to play, I come at you with a three.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Every day. You want me to go to a seven,
- 4:49Speaker 3: I'll go to a seven. Let's go.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Uh. Fair enough. Although it was it was kind of
- 4:55Speaker 1: fine listening to you and people your life. It is
- 4:59Speaker 1: the same.
- 5:00Speaker 3: That's what the reality.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's still I'm happy to do it. And
- 5:02Speaker 1: did you do any butterball turkeys with a little button?
- 5:06Speaker 3: Don't you didn't talk about nipples? You know why?
- 5:09Speaker 5: It turns out that they listened to me and they're
- 5:12Speaker 5: getting rid of they're phasing them out, Bill.
- 5:14Speaker 1: They're phasing out. How does the human being phase out nipples?
- 5:19Speaker 3: I'll show you.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Okay, all right, before we get going, well, we're we
- 5:24Speaker 1: starting on a nice December. And did I say good
- 5:27Speaker 1: morning to you? I think I did fair enough? You
- 5:29Speaker 1: did all right? Good? You know my memory is that's
- 5:32Speaker 1: another thing we talked about my memory. And is there
- 5:34Speaker 1: some Trump news? Of course there's some Trump news. I
- 5:36Speaker 1: was talking to a few people yesterday and saying, you know, asking,
- 5:40Speaker 1: oh you know what, I asked chat gpt about whether
- 5:46Speaker 1: I am conservative or whether I am liberal? Liberal? What
- 5:51Speaker 1: do you what do you think? Chat GPT said, screaming, well,
- 5:57Speaker 1: conservative or liberal? Of course, screaming uh, but it's uh,
- 6:02Speaker 1: it's really interesting. Let me let me go ahead and
- 6:04Speaker 1: do this because I've never used chat GPT before. I
- 6:07Speaker 1: always use siri. Uh So let me see if I
- 6:09Speaker 1: can find it here someplace. Okay, here we go. Uh.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Hate chat is Bill handled? Conservative or liberal? Oh? I
- 6:21Speaker 1: have to put the microphone on. Hate chat is Bill
- 6:25Speaker 1: handled conservative or liberal? Hate chat? How the hell do
- 6:33Speaker 1: you use you? All right, something's going on here that
- 6:38Speaker 1: I don't understand. Okay, it's transcribing now. That doesn't help me. Okay,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I want to Uh is your VCR blinking noon? All right?
- 6:46Speaker 1: Hate chat is Bill handle? Oh? I have to put
- 6:50Speaker 1: a microphone on I hate chat. Is Bill Handle liberal
- 6:54Speaker 1: or conservative? Why is it a transcribing?
- 7:01Speaker 5: Oh god, it's all right in the last seven years
- 7:06Speaker 5: or when he started.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Okay, hold on, I'm generally considered a centrist, but on
- 7:11Speaker 1: the political spectrum he leans socially liberal and fiscally conservative.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Social plus liberal. Supports abortion rights, same sex marriage, stem
- 7:18Speaker 1: cell research, gun control, critical of big government, excessive spending.
- 7:23Speaker 1: So if someone forces him in the category, most analysts
- 7:26Speaker 1: would call him socially liberal, fiscally conservative, or if you
- 7:30Speaker 1: want it even simpler, clearly not either. He's mixed. Now
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'd agree with that. I have to figure out because
- 7:37Speaker 1: that was kind of fun. I've never used it before.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I don't agree with that, really, I sort of agree
- 7:42Speaker 1: with that. I tend on social issues, I tend to
- 7:44Speaker 1: be more on the liberal side.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Yes, But the thing is, when it comes to fiscally conservative,
- 7:51Speaker 5: you can't really be both because the money has to
- 7:55Speaker 5: go to pay for all the social programs.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I understand, But you can also be reasonable about it.
- 8:00Speaker 1: You can actually pay for social programs without being crazy,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and that, I think is the point. And where is crazy?
- 8:08Speaker 1: Where is that line? I think that is where discerned.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I've got to get this talking because yesterday I was
- 8:13Speaker 1: on this and what voice do you want? Do you
- 8:15Speaker 1: know you can do this in the voice of Scooby
- 8:17Speaker 1: Doo on chat GPT. I just thought I mentioned that. Okay,
- 8:23Speaker 1: before we go to the news, which we have to
- 8:25Speaker 1: go in just a moment. This is one of those
- 8:28Speaker 1: days because tomorrow is Pastathon. A quick word about Pastathon.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It's at the Anaheim White House, going on all day
- 8:34Speaker 1: starting at five am. Amy and Will are there and
- 8:37Speaker 1: the rest of us will be there all day Neil
- 8:39Speaker 1: and I of course kno, you're in studio right yes? Okay,
- 8:44Speaker 1: Ann are you Pastathon or there? Okay?
- 8:48Speaker 3: An?
- 8:49Speaker 1: Is that Pastathon? And then all the day parts will
- 8:51Speaker 1: be a pastathon where we're raising money and sauce, spaghetti,
- 8:56Speaker 1: sauce and pasta for Katarina's Club and that is Chef
- 9:01Speaker 1: Bruno's charity where we help feed the kids. And the
- 9:06Speaker 1: one fun part are the the auction items, Okay and
- 9:13Speaker 1: I talk about ours, which we've never done before. And
- 9:16Speaker 1: one with a backyard barbecue with the Bill O'Neal, a
- 9:20Speaker 1: private barbecue at my house. We're going to broadcast the
- 9:24Speaker 1: Fork Report. It's going to be only small group twenty
- 9:28Speaker 1: people family and friends, and a winner and the highest
- 9:32Speaker 1: bidder will join us for a private barbecue and it
- 9:35Speaker 1: should be a lot of fun. And then there's a
- 9:37Speaker 1: bunch of giveaways and swag, I mean, a lot of
- 9:39Speaker 1: stuff going on. And so far we've gotten one minimum
- 9:44Speaker 1: bid of which I bid and our cole Belt on
- 9:48Speaker 1: the air going pretty good. Thirty six hundred bucks Dodgers
- 9:52Speaker 1: game with Gary and Shannon, pretty good. Sixteen and fifty
- 9:55Speaker 1: dollars Dodgers game with Dean and Tina. That's going pretty well.
- 10:00Speaker 1: For thirteen hundred dollars. Angel Martinez with their Nazi sandals.
- 10:05Speaker 1: There's two Nazi sandals offered, not just left and right,
- 10:09Speaker 1: I mean two pair and went for one hundred and
- 10:13Speaker 1: seventy five and two hundred dollars, and a whole bunch
- 10:15Speaker 1: of other ones.
- 10:16Speaker 3: We have more than one bit five.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, but it's just.
- 10:24Speaker 5: You think you're going to get like thirty grand because
- 10:27Speaker 5: your bill handle.
- 10:29Speaker 1: No, no, I wish. Well, here's the problem is at
- 10:34Speaker 1: the gala for Catarinas called they have a gala every year,
- 10:39Speaker 1: and I went and literally at the last second, they
- 10:42Speaker 1: threw me into the auction threw me in. Silvano Bruno's nephew,
- 10:46Speaker 1: who actually runs the Anaheim White House restaurant, said can
- 10:50Speaker 1: we add you on? I said sure, and so a
- 10:53Speaker 1: private dinner with me and Linz and it went for
- 10:58Speaker 1: fifteen thousand dollars for a dinner with me. And Let's
- 11:03Speaker 1: granted the guy was so drunk at the time they
- 11:07Speaker 1: literally had to cart him off. They dragged him out
- 11:10Speaker 1: of the room, and he went fifteen thousand dollars.
- 11:13Speaker 5: What well, what I do he was gonna bid fifteen
- 11:18Speaker 5: k Anyways, neath that, I just well get.
- 11:21Speaker 1: A free meal. Yeah, yeah. And as a matter of fact,
- 11:25Speaker 1: the Anaheim Whitehouse gave away two meals private meals, one
- 11:30Speaker 1: with me, one without me. The one without me went
- 11:33Speaker 1: for far far more money than the one with me.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Can I pay for him to sit at a different table?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Yes? Pretty much. Okay, guys, let's do It's time for
- 11:43Speaker 1: handle on the news on this December one, Amy Neil
- 11:46Speaker 1: and me lead story out in the street. Well, usually
- 11:50Speaker 1: we don't get lead stories with mass shootings, but this
- 11:54Speaker 1: one not fun at all to say the least. This
- 11:59Speaker 1: happened in Stockton. Someone came in and started shooting up
- 12:03Speaker 1: a kid's birthday party. Four people dead, including three kids
- 12:08Speaker 1: under the age of fifteen. Come on, guys. The victims
- 12:12Speaker 1: were eight, nine, and fourteen and a twenty one year
- 12:14Speaker 1: old adult. Fifteen people shot and wounded. The suspect is
- 12:20Speaker 1: out there. No one knows where he is. He's at large,
- 12:25Speaker 1: and the sheriff said, outright, we need the public's help
- 12:28Speaker 1: on this one. Welcome to a gun community the United States.
- 12:37Speaker 1: It's cost of doing business.
- 12:39Speaker 3: You know.
- 12:39Speaker 1: It's one of those things where I used to get
- 12:41Speaker 1: really upset, not that I don't now, but it's simply
- 12:46Speaker 1: the cost of doing business living here. That's it. For example,
- 12:50Speaker 1: in southern California, the traffic is untenable. It's the cost
- 12:53Speaker 1: of doing business. You want to live in Southern California,
- 12:56Speaker 1: you're gonna have to live with You want to live
- 12:57Speaker 1: in the United States, you have to live with this stuff.
- 12:59Speaker 1: And it just and it will continue to happen.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Once again.
- 13:06Speaker 4: SEPTEF has some explain and to do. Lawmakers are pressing
- 13:10Speaker 4: the Trump administration to answer what happened with a boat
- 13:16Speaker 4: strike on a suspected Venezuelan drug boat that two people survived,
- 13:21Speaker 4: and then there may have been a follow up strike
- 13:24Speaker 4: ordered to kill the survivors who survived the initial attack.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Republican led committees overseeing the Pentagon have vowed to conduct
- 13:32Speaker 4: vigorous oversight into the US boat strikes. The Washington Post
- 13:36Speaker 4: is the one that reported a US strike on a
- 13:38Speaker 4: boat on September second had two survivors, but then a
- 13:42Speaker 4: second attack was carried out to comply with Defense Secretary
- 13:45Speaker 4: Pete Heggs's order to kill everybody on board. According to
- 13:48Speaker 4: the Post, Hegseth says it is fake news.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Now one of two things are going to happen. If
- 13:54Speaker 1: there is a written memorandum, then the Defense Department of
- 13:58Speaker 1: the War Department has some real explain need to do.
- 14:02Speaker 1: If if it was an oral order, then you're going
- 14:06Speaker 1: to see one of two things happen. No, no, no,
- 14:10Speaker 1: all the way down the line. Never said it, never
- 14:13Speaker 1: said it, never said it. Or you're going to see
- 14:15Speaker 1: people fired like crazy. Yeah he said it, you're fired.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Yeah he said it. You're fired. And it goes all
- 14:23Speaker 1: the way down the line.
- 14:25Speaker 5: Can you do just an oral I mean, doesn't somebody
- 14:29Speaker 5: have to document these things?
- 14:30Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know.
- 14:32Speaker 5: I would imagine if you're calling for kill orders of
- 14:35Speaker 5: any kind, you.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Know, I don't.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I don't think would have to be documented.
- 14:40Speaker 1: There was the son of some very dear friends of
- 14:43Speaker 1: mine who I knew him as he was growing up.
- 14:46Speaker 1: He ended up going into the army as a helicopter pilot,
- 14:50Speaker 1: and he was flying as Cobra helicopter and was told
- 14:55Speaker 1: that there were some this is in the First Goal War,
- 14:59Speaker 1: that there where a couple of guys a rakis and
- 15:02Speaker 1: some buildings, and he wanted to shoot at them. He
- 15:06Speaker 1: had to have the or he had to have the okay,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and he could not just shoot. He had to have
- 15:11Speaker 1: the okay going all up. And by the time he
- 15:13Speaker 1: got the okay, the guys were gone.
- 15:15Speaker 5: But I imagine there's got to be some unless you're unless
- 15:20Speaker 5: you're being shot at, unless you are defending yourself, defending yourself.
- 15:24Speaker 1: But other than that, you would think. But in this case,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I don't know. Did the pilots ask for permission or
- 15:33Speaker 1: the head simply order the firing or did who knows.
- 15:39Speaker 1: At this point they start, they're just starting the examination
- 15:42Speaker 1: now of the end.
- 15:43Speaker 5: It's not outside the realm of possibility to think haig
- 15:47Speaker 5: Seth said leave no.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we'll considering who Pete heads is absolutely.
- 15:53Speaker 3: That's not unbelievable.
- 15:55Speaker 1: No, all right, uh.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Christy Noham, the Homeland Security Secretary, of course, she's said
- 16:00Speaker 5: on Sunday that the suspect in that horrific National Guard
- 16:05Speaker 5: attack and murder in Washington, d C. Was radicalized in
- 16:11Speaker 5: the US and blames the Biden administration. Interestingly enough, the
- 16:17Speaker 5: suspects asylum apparently was approved under Donald Trump.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Yeah, we're not hearing that at all.
- 16:24Speaker 5: I heard a little bit of it, but not as
- 16:25Speaker 5: much as you think under the circumstances.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Well, certainly not from certainly not from the administration.
- 16:31Speaker 3: You're well, I expected from them.
- 16:33Speaker 1: And the other argument said that he wasn't vetted because
- 16:38Speaker 1: Biden didn't vet people or his administration didn't vet people.
- 16:41Speaker 1: And then we're hearing that he was vetted very strongly.
- 16:44Speaker 5: So we don't understand is not only once, but I
- 16:48Speaker 5: don't we don't know what's going to happen, that there's
- 16:51Speaker 5: a multiple and if you're working for the CIA, that's
- 16:55Speaker 5: not the vet of all vet.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I don't know because and that's the other thing with
- 16:59Speaker 1: this one, because this is a man who was working
- 17:02Speaker 1: for the CIA and he got over here and was
- 17:05Speaker 1: given under a special waiver, a special it is a
- 17:10Speaker 1: special visa four people that worked with the US government
- 17:14Speaker 1: in these areas, for example Afghani's if they stay, they die,
- 17:18Speaker 1: that's it and the Taliban, if they stay, they die.
- 17:22Speaker 1: And that was the premise of the permit. And what's
- 17:25Speaker 1: happening is the administration is saying no two things.
- 17:29Speaker 3: One.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Christy Nooames says that the story is of course fake news,
- 17:37Speaker 1: and it was the defying of the court order that
- 17:41Speaker 1: the administration did defy, because that's what they're doing at
- 17:44Speaker 1: this point are simply orders from activist judges, left wing
- 17:49Speaker 1: wacko activist judges.
- 17:51Speaker 5: That's what we've come to. Why I have to be
- 17:54Speaker 5: radicalized at all? What if he just it with nuts?
- 17:57Speaker 5: If he just lost his mind. I know, it's a
- 17:59Speaker 5: political hard What if he just lost his mind?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Because because it's gotten so crazy out there, no one
- 18:06Speaker 1: can come up with a logical reason at all either side. Uh,
- 18:10Speaker 1: these judges, even the Trump judges who rule against the
- 18:13Speaker 1: administration on an issue or another, is a radicalized, left
- 18:17Speaker 1: wing wacko judge. I mean, it's gotten completely crazy. I
- 18:22Speaker 1: don't know what's going on with this other than it's
- 18:25Speaker 1: it's become insane. Oh and then the other thing, which
- 18:28Speaker 1: we're going to get to later on is you have
- 18:30Speaker 1: one guy from Afghanistan, one guy, and the administration has
- 18:36Speaker 1: shut down all asylums from Afghanistan, all entries to the
- 18:40Speaker 1: United States and is looking at all the visas that
- 18:44Speaker 1: were granted to Afghanis one guy, seventy six thousand Afghanists
- 18:50Speaker 1: are here. That's like one guy who's an American citizen
- 18:54Speaker 1: does something. We're going to yank all the citizenship from
- 18:58Speaker 1: everybody in the United States because one American did this.
- 19:02Speaker 1: That's now it's almost logic. Is that crazy?
- 19:05Speaker 5: It's almost like defunding the police, right, I know, because
- 19:08Speaker 5: there's a bad cop.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's exactly right. One bad cop, one rogue cop,
- 19:14Speaker 1: and we're going to get rid of the police. For example,
- 19:16Speaker 1: in LA where there's only ten thousand police officers, all
- 19:18Speaker 1: you need is one and there's no more police department.
- 19:20Speaker 1: All right.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Scota's decision could leave you feeling disconnected. Supreme Court's going
- 19:28Speaker 4: to hear arguments today in a major copyright dispuse that
- 19:32Speaker 4: in a dispute, Internet service providers have warned that it
- 19:36Speaker 4: could force millions of Americans offline and turn companies that
- 19:39Speaker 4: provide connectivity into Internet. Police At issue are peer to
- 19:44Speaker 4: peer file sharing protocols like bit torrent that allow users
- 19:49Speaker 4: to download pirated music.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know how. The argument is if you
- 19:56Speaker 1: don't let us provide pirated music, you're not going to
- 20:00Speaker 1: be able to use the Internet. It's somehow chilling of
- 20:04Speaker 1: Internet use if you don't let us pirate music and
- 20:07Speaker 1: copyrighted content. Okay, I sort of lot lost that one
- 20:14Speaker 1: when Napster was around, first started and it was straight
- 20:17Speaker 1: out theft of music products, albums, et cetera.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Well, it's peer to peer file sharing.
- 20:23Speaker 5: It doesn't mean that everything that's done on it is illegal.
- 20:27Speaker 1: No, I understood, But it's but copyright infringement is not
- 20:31Speaker 1: only me using, but you using it. If I infringe
- 20:34Speaker 1: on copyright and I send it to you, that doesn't
- 20:37Speaker 1: give you the right to go ahead and use it
- 20:40Speaker 1: if the copyright is correct, Right, all right.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Trump says it's perfect MRI results, he'll release them. He
- 20:48Speaker 5: said this just yesterday he'd released the results of his
- 20:52Speaker 5: MRI exam from October. He was speaking with reporters on
- 20:57Speaker 5: board Air Force one, as he is one to you
- 21:00Speaker 5: and said the results of the m I were perfect.
- 21:05Speaker 5: The only thing that hit me. MRIs are not. Are
- 21:10Speaker 5: not part of a physical an.
- 21:13Speaker 1: MRI or not? And so the argument it is a
- 21:16Speaker 1: follow up visit. He's already received as annual physical. So
- 21:20Speaker 1: does that mean there is something wrong with him? Or
- 21:23Speaker 1: does that mean you've got what He's seventy nine years old, right,
- 21:26Speaker 1: seventy eight or seventy nine years old, and so you're
- 21:29Speaker 1: a seventy eight seventy nine year old is not going
- 21:31Speaker 1: to be a thirty five year old. So I don't
- 21:33Speaker 1: know whether this means anything or not.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Would they order an MRI unless they were curious to
- 21:38Speaker 5: want to see somebody?
- 21:39Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I'm not the president's protologist,
- 21:44Speaker 1: but you'd like to be. I'd like to be.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, you.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Mother Nature. Someone must have fooled Mother Nature because she's mad.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Remember that old wasn't there an old butter commercial or something?
- 21:59Speaker 3: Yeahs, it's not nice.
- 22:01Speaker 4: To fool Mother Nature anyway. Big powerful storm blew through
- 22:06Speaker 4: the Midwest Great Lakes during one of the busiest travel
- 22:09Speaker 4: days in fifteen years, which was yesterday. Cancelations of hundreds
- 22:13Speaker 4: of flights delays of thousands. As of noon yesterday, sixty
- 22:18Speaker 4: two hundred flights had been delayed into and out of
- 22:21Speaker 4: the US and a thousand flights had been canceled. And
- 22:24Speaker 4: of course that trickled down, not hit is hard on
- 22:27Speaker 4: the East or the West coast, but there were some
- 22:29Speaker 4: delays and cancelations because of that weather at LAX and
- 22:32Speaker 4: Hollywood and Long Beach airports.
- 22:34Speaker 1: When do you not fly Well, first of all, you're
- 22:38Speaker 1: crazy to fly over the Thanksgiving weekend anyway, that's a given.
- 22:41Speaker 1: But when you know a major storm is coming in,
- 22:43Speaker 1: you know in advance, and you know that the good
- 22:46Speaker 1: chance your flight is going to be canceled and or
- 22:48Speaker 1: you're going to be at the airport for two days,
- 22:50Speaker 1: at what point you say, eh, I'm giving this one
- 22:52Speaker 1: up and probably get a refund too from the airline
- 22:56Speaker 1: and died only. But then again, the probably you have
- 22:58Speaker 1: someone to see and someone to visit, so I don't understand.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Then you have an excellent excuse not to that's correct.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Well put, yeah, not that you didn't do it, it's
- 23:09Speaker 1: the plane, that's absolutely correct. Yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 5: So Luigi Mangioni, he's the twenty seven year old accused
- 23:15Speaker 5: of killing a health insurance company executive. You remember we
- 23:19Speaker 5: saw the video, very brazen coming up behind them and
- 23:24Speaker 5: shooting him multiple times. Well, he's appearing in court today
- 23:28Speaker 5: as his attorneys seek and you're going to have to
- 23:30Speaker 5: explain his bill to have his diary entries and other
- 23:33Speaker 5: key evidence tossed from his state murder case.
- 23:37Speaker 3: What are they gonna what are they gonna say.
- 23:39Speaker 1: To get okay? There was some obviously some evidence that
- 23:43Speaker 1: was in It was in a backpack, and there was
- 23:48Speaker 1: all kinds of evidence that was you It puts a
- 23:52Speaker 1: bit a lot of trouble, to say the least. What
- 23:55Speaker 1: his attorneys are saying is that they didn't have a
- 23:57Speaker 1: warrant when they opened up his backpack, and therefore they
- 24:01Speaker 1: can't use what's in the backpack. It's called tainted evidence
- 24:05Speaker 1: and none of that can be used. Is he gonna win?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Probably not in the What's fascinating about this case is
- 24:11Speaker 1: you know how many he's a hero to so many people,
- 24:15Speaker 1: how many fans he has. He's a good looking Italian kid,
- 24:20Speaker 1: Ted Bundy, same thing. He became this national hero to
- 24:25Speaker 1: so many women because it's a great just a great
- 24:27Speaker 1: looking guy. And Luigi's this great looking guy, that's marketing man.
- 24:32Speaker 5: The fact is he killed the sign of father and hub.
- 24:37Speaker 1: That's not marketing. No, this was spontaneous. No one started
- 24:40Speaker 1: this marketing campaign. It's just you had O. J. Simpson.
- 24:45Speaker 1: How many fans did he have?
- 24:47Speaker 6: And people who knew that he killed committed the murders,
- 24:51Speaker 6: and people were lining up. I went to an event
- 24:53Speaker 6: once and there was OJ Simpson there and the women
- 24:56Speaker 6: that were lined up to get his autograph were twenty deep.
- 25:02Speaker 1: What the hell is this about? So anyway, welcome to America.
- 25:04Speaker 1: So they're Luigi Man, John Nay and I think the
- 25:09Speaker 1: lawyers are not going to get their shot at it. Okay, Oh,
- 25:12Speaker 1: here's another great one.
- 25:14Speaker 4: Well, there's still hope. President Trump says he's optimistic about
- 25:18Speaker 4: a high level meeting between US officials and a Ukrainian
- 25:20Speaker 4: delegation in Miami that happened yesterday. He suggested there was
- 25:24Speaker 4: a good chance of a deal to end Russia's war
- 25:26Speaker 4: in Ukraine. He says, talks are going along, and they're
- 25:29Speaker 4: going along well. His comments came after Secretary of State
- 25:33Speaker 4: Marco Rubio said that the peace talks were very fragile
- 25:37Speaker 4: and underscores that Russia would have a central role to
- 25:41Speaker 4: play in any deal.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's kind of hard to believe that a deal
- 25:46Speaker 1: to stop the war without Russia in the deal, it
- 25:49Speaker 1: does makes a lot of sense. Now, I'll tell you
- 25:52Speaker 1: why this is not going down quickly and it may
- 25:54Speaker 1: not happen. Russia has not changed from his position at all.
- 25:57Speaker 1: It wants that territory, that land, and Russia has not
- 26:03Speaker 1: changed it one iota. And if you compare the piece
- 26:06Speaker 1: deal that Trump was instrumental in, and that's Gaza and Israel,
- 26:12Speaker 1: it's a very different circumstance. The dynamics are totally different.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Russia wants that land once Ukraine, arguing that Ukraine has
- 26:22Speaker 1: always been part of Russia and it's not gonna happen.
- 26:25Speaker 1: They haven't changed. Its not gonna happen anytime soon. I
- 26:28Speaker 1: don't think so. Even though the US, Marco Rubio and
- 26:31Speaker 1: the President are trying very hard to have this end.
- 26:37Speaker 3: It's a Thanksgiving miracle. You know.
- 26:40Speaker 5: I was listening Toamie King this morning on wake Up
- 26:42Speaker 5: Call and should talk about this story. What what a
- 26:45Speaker 5: happy ending here. You've got a couple that were visiting
- 26:49Speaker 5: San Diego with their with their pooch and their black
- 26:54Speaker 5: labrador mix. Five year old Sadie just took off and
- 27:00Speaker 5: they couldn't find the dog, but the dog did have
- 27:03Speaker 5: an air tag on his collar. A couple tracked Sadie's
- 27:06Speaker 5: location and walk down the beach looking for him. It
- 27:09Speaker 5: turns out lifeguard spotted him. He was like half mile
- 27:14Speaker 5: off shore.
- 27:15Speaker 1: And swimming and they got him and they rescued him,
- 27:18Speaker 1: which is terrific. Away, that's actually great news. That really
- 27:23Speaker 1: is you get an occasional good story. And that's not
- 27:27Speaker 1: that I like them, but you get an occasional good
- 27:29Speaker 1: story that made sure bring your day up.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Yes, absolutely, pardon me, that's what Benjamin Netanya, who's saying
- 27:37Speaker 4: the Israeli Prime Minister has asked the country's president to
- 27:40Speaker 4: grant him a pardon on corruption charges. Netnah, who said
- 27:44Speaker 4: it would help unify the country at a time of
- 27:46Speaker 4: momentous changes in the region. Opponents say would weaken Israel's
- 27:49Speaker 4: democratic institutions and send a dangerous message that he is
- 27:53Speaker 4: above the rule of law.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and the president can pardon him. In Israel, the
- 27:58Speaker 1: president has the same pardon power as this United States
- 28:01Speaker 1: pardon power the president here, and he's been in trial
- 28:07Speaker 1: and that's this thing's gone on for years, but he's
- 28:09Speaker 1: been a sitting prime minister, so that holds everything up
- 28:13Speaker 1: until he is no longer one. And a lot of
- 28:15Speaker 1: argument was that's why he continued the war and that
- 28:18Speaker 1: that's a lot of discussion and controversy in Israel and
- 28:23Speaker 1: the president, our president urged Israel to pardon Nitayahu, saying
- 28:28Speaker 1: that the nittagnant who case is political unjustified prosecution. How unusual.
- 28:37Speaker 5: All right, NASA, they are testing new lunar spacesuits. They
- 28:42Speaker 5: do it under waters kind of the way they do it,
- 28:44Speaker 5: and the agency has long term preparations for their first
- 28:49Speaker 5: Artemis moonwalks in more than fifty years, obviously back in
- 28:53Speaker 5: July sixty nine. But these are you know, they rehearse
- 28:59Speaker 5: like all the lunar activities they're going to do on
- 29:02Speaker 5: the Moon.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Underwater.
- 29:05Speaker 1: And yeah, you've seen that that giant tank. I mean,
- 29:07Speaker 1: everybody's seen that where it's it approximate weightlessness even though
- 29:11Speaker 1: it really isn't. But he gives a better idea of
- 29:15Speaker 1: how tools function where and how you do spacewalks, that
- 29:20Speaker 1: sort of thing.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Have you ever a friend?
- 29:21Speaker 4: Colonel Haig said that doing the training in water feels
- 29:25Speaker 4: a lot like being in space. He said. The real
- 29:27Speaker 4: difference is that the bubbles are coming up, you know
- 29:29Speaker 4: from your air tanks.
- 29:30Speaker 1: But he says, it feels a lot like space, so
- 29:32Speaker 1: it obviously works. And then just last one that we're
- 29:35Speaker 1: I just want to say that be prepared for heavy
- 29:39Speaker 1: winds coming in and freezing temperatures. And when Amy, when
- 29:44Speaker 1: are we looking for the winds coming in?
- 29:45Speaker 4: Well, the winds are going to be blowing starting today
- 29:48Speaker 4: and then we're going to gusty conditions kind of off
- 29:51Speaker 4: and on through the week. So with this storm about
- 29:54Speaker 4: fifty miles per hour in the mountains, and then we'll
- 29:56Speaker 4: get a lull and then they'll kick up again on
- 29:58Speaker 4: Thursday Wednesday.
- 29:59Speaker 3: There in for.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Some tough weather in the next few days. Freezing temperature
- 30:03Speaker 1: which we rarely get in as the rest of the
- 30:07Speaker 1: country is in the middle of all these storms, we're
- 30:10Speaker 1: plugging along. It's seventy two to seventy three degrees. That
- 30:13Speaker 1: stops at least for this week. All right, that's it
- 30:17Speaker 1: for the news. KFI AM six point. You've been listening
- 30:21Speaker 1: to the Bill Handle Show. Catch My Show Monday through
- 30:23Speaker 1: Friday six am to nine am, and anytime on demand.
