- 0:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Hi everyone, it's Justin here, Voices for Voices.
- 0:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you so much for joining us on this and our now over 450 episodes of the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast.
- 0:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you for watching.
- 0:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you for listening.
- 0:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: No matter where you are, if you're in the United States or in a country, territory, province across the world, we're all human beings and uh we are bringing people together, we're uniting people, we're not dividing people, and that's one of the main uh one of the main pillars uh that is built on the foundation of mental health, mental illness, trauma, recovery.
- 0:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um if you can help us spread the word about voices for voices and our TV show and podcast, we would greatly appreciate that.
- 1:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you could reach out to 25, 50, maybe 100 of your contacts in your phone, let them know about the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast.
- 1:14Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're third behind the Joe Rogan experience and the Dan Bon Gino show.
- 1:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And it's only because of you that is helping us reach at least three billion people over the course of my lifetime and beyond.
- 1:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And with your help, we have gotten here.
- 1:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: With your help, we can reach people in over 300 countries, territories, provinces.
- 1:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're well over one hundred, and we're well over uh eleven hundred cities across this great planet Earth.
- 1:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So we want to say thank you as always.
- 2:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh with without your support, without uh, without your demand to to watch and listen, we wouldn't have a show.
- 2:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We wouldn't have a reason to come to you, to share, to talk.
- 2:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh many times, as you know, uh, especially for those uh returning viewers and listeners.
- 2:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Again, let me just reiterate, we a 501c nonprofit charity, 501c3 nonprofit charity organization with literally like one staff, and that's me, uh, that shoots these episodes, that edits, that drops them.
- 2:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh we have a lot of help.
- 2:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, but 90 or 90 percent of the work falls on my shoulders.
- 2:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I am very happy to have you with us, whether this is your first show or you've been with us all 400 and now 451.
- 3:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: This is the 451st show of the Voices for Voices TV show and podcast.
- 3:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We don't have a huge staff, like the Dan Poncino show, and then like the Joe Rogan experience.
- 3:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so that's what makes this so uh so much uh so remarkable, so incredible, uh, an incredible feat to get to this point.
- 3:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, and we're here to help.
- 3:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh you've heard me say many, many, many, many times that uh this part of my life on is help helping people.
- 3:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's that's what we're that's what we're here for.
- 3:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh the first say the first half of my life, I uh I didn't I didn't focus a lot of time on helping people.
- 4:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I spent a lot of time on myself.
- 4:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And while there's still days and times and and uh and points where I do uh focus on myself, a lot of it is uh self-care, um instead of just having that ego.
- 4:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh so thank you.
- 4:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Thank you for joining us.
- 4:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: This is I I do I spend five minutes or so at the beginning of each show just thanking each and every one of you because without you, we wouldn't have an audience, we wouldn't have viewers, we wouldn't have listeners.
- 4:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh we we try to keep politics out and culture in.
- 4:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So we cover a lot of hard topics, a lot of tough topics humanly, and we also talk about areas of the world that others won't.
- 5:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, and we look at that from a cultural perspective, not a political perspective, because we're all we're all human beings, and and so no matter where a person um lives, uh no matter what government, what type of government uh their country, territory, province has, uh we we have to include everybody.
- 5:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And and so we do.
- 5:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh we we get great feedback, and I want to thank you for the feedback you've you've been giving us over the gone on three years.
- 5:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um it's uh it's incredible to think uh where we're where we're at.
- 5:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh and and so we're gonna we're gonna get it started finally.
- 6:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So there's a lot of a lot of things going on uh here voices for voices and across the world.
- 6:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I um you know there's there's military things going on, there's uh non-military things going on.
- 6:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh but again, we just have to stay together as a as a human race.
- 6:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We have to we have to stay together and we have to be for peace.
- 6:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We want peace.
- 6:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We don't we don't want war.
- 6:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh we we want to help people, not unite or help and unite, not divide people.
- 6:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And if that's the only thing that you take away from this show in this particular episode, then that's fantastic.
- 7:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh to to be able to uh to do that.
- 7:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And a lot of people have tried.
- 7:13Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: A lot of people, you know, there's a lot of lip service of well, we want peace and we want to help people.
- 7:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh let me tell you, it is a sham what is going on with a lot of these nonprofits and a lot of these organizations that people are pointed to when they are in crisis, when they are in need.
- 7:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh what do I mean by a sham?
- 7:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I mean they're not helping, not helping.
- 7:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They're more concerned on statistics on how many people called in.
- 7:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um not how many people are we directly helping, and we're continuing after this phone call.
- 8:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I'm speaking from experience.
- 8:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There's a lot of organizations that we're you know, we're being pointed to when you know if there's if there's an issue, if there's a problem go going on, you know, we're we're supposed to be pointed to organizations and people that can help, not hurt, not just be the status quo, but actually help.
- 8:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I think that's the big takeaway for for this show.
- 8:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, we've spoken about this before, but it's so important because it's still happening at this very moment where we reach out.
- 8:58Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You know, somebody says, Oh, reach out to organization XYZ, they'll be able to help you, they'll be able to point you in the right direction, they'll be able to help you because you're going through a very tough, very difficult a situation that shouldn't even be happening, frankly.
- 9:20Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And the calls, people are compassionate on the phone for the most part, but being compassionate and executing and helping people is a lot different.
- 9:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So if you call me, I'm just giving an example.
- 9:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You call me, this is an example of an organization, actually, more than one, like tens, uh, if not hundreds.
- 9:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Okay.
- 9:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Ring ring ring ring.
- 10:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Hello, this is Justin Allen Hayes with blank blank blank association.
- 10:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, how can I help you?
- 10:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, I'm going through this situation.
- 10:11Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Okay, can you tell me a little bit more about it?
- 10:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yes, so this happened, that happened, there's a law here and here, and I was told that you'd be able to help me find maybe maybe I need legal representation, and I don't have any money because I've been taken advantage of for a good part of my life.
- 10:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And then here's me.
- 10:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Oh, well, um, you know, I'm just a volunteer and I'm just help, you know, I'm just picking up the phone, and I'm sorry to hear that.
- 10:54Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh but uh, you know, have you reached out to your you know, your local police?
- 11:02Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yes, I have.
- 11:04Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Have you reached out to uh the bar at Local Bar Association?
- 11:09Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Yes, I have.
- 11:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, and and are they are they and were they any help?
- 11:15Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh no, they weren't.
- 11:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh they they want money, right?
- 11:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: People want to be paid.
- 11:23Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I get it.
- 11:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But when I hear, so I'm stepping away from my hypothetical call.
- 11:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: When I hear, oh yeah, you'll be helped.
- 11:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You call here, that you'll be helped.
- 11:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You'll be helped.
- 11:39Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Help doesn't mean that the phone gets picked up.
- 11:44Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Help doesn't mean that the person sits and listens to a problem that is going on and has been going on for many years, 13, 14 years.
- 11:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's nice.
- 12:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And we're grateful for that.
- 12:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're thankful that there is somebody that did pick up the phone, but when we talk about execution, when we talk about at the end of the day, when I hang up that phone, am I gonna feel better about my situation or am I gonna feel the same or or or worse?
- 12:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Uh and stepping back into the call, well, you know, sorry, you know, we we don't have any you know attorneys on staff.
- 12:37Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um have you reached out to this other organization?
- 12:42Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Oh, yeah, so we I I reached out to that.
- 12:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And were they any help?
- 12:47Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Not really.
- 12:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, they didn't, they didn't they didn't help me in my situation, yeah.
- 12:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They listen.
- 12:53Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, and so yeah, it took up an hour of my time, uh, but there uh there was no help that again, there's no help, there's no legal help.
- 13:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Um, I'm being attacked in court, I'm being attacked on TikTok and other social platforms, and so now I'm stepping out of the call because that's how the calls go.
- 13:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I've been on probably a hundred calls, if not more.
- 13:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's exactly how they go.
- 13:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And to take it of a a step further, issues, problems, they don't know the day of the week.
- 13:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So to say, oh, okay, call us twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, well, yeah, you can call and you can probably talk to a person, maybe.
- 13:59Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But when it's a weekend and you need an I need and others need help, and somebody says, you know, on the other side of the phone says, well, you know, our um whatever, our regular staff will be in on Monday.
- 14:21Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, that's great.
- 14:22Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm glad they're gonna be in on Monday.
- 14:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But I might not be alive on Monday.
- 14:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: You don't understand.
- 14:30Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And then the person on the other side of the phone says, Oh, yes, I do.
- 14:35Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I'm so sorry, I'm not be able to help.
- 14:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But just we we gotta we gotta help people, man.
- 14:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We gotta help people, and we gotta follow through.
- 14:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Let's follow through.
- 14:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Let's help people.
- 14:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Let's help people.
- 15:01Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Can we do that?
- 15:05Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Let's execute and help.
- 15:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Give real support, not fluff.
- 15:12Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It doesn't take a genius to figure this stuff out.
- 15:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So I want the word to get out.
- 15:24Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We need organizations to follow through that that actually have the resources to help, to help, to help, and to follow through.
- 15:34Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I don't need any more organizations to pick up the phone and tell me, oh, you know, I'm so sorry.
- 15:42Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We don't need that.
- 15:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We need people that are gonna step behind us.
- 15:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They're gonna they're gonna put us on their shoulders and they're gonna help us until the issue, the problem is done.
- 16:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That somebody is safe.
- 16:07Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's all we want.
- 16:10Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Health, safety, security, food, water, clothing, shelter.
- 16:16Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So let's help make people safer, healthier.
- 16:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I feel like they they are cared about.
- 16:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Can we do that?
- 16:36Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I think we can.
- 16:38Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so that's what we're doing.
- 16:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We're echoing what's happening in the world in certain areas, and that's why we're bringing this up because it's such a problem.
- 16:48Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: It's a huge problem.
- 16:50Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Huge problem.
- 16:52Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Somebody says, I'm gonna help you, but yeah, at the end of the day, they they don't.
- 17:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And they don't give you the resources besides, oh, we'll call this, call this number, call that number, call that number.
- 17:08Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Well, if anybody's gone through trauma and mental illness and had a panic attack like I've had, the more work you want me to do, the more things, the more panic that I'm gonna get, the more anxious I'm gonna get.
- 17:25Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And that's me.
- 17:28Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I have a great team.
- 17:32Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: There's still times I need others to help me in that you may need help.
- 17:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And if you're from one of these organizations, do something, please.
- 17:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Don't make these victims, these survivors do all this work and just do lip service.
- 17:57Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We don't need lip service, we need actual action.
- 18:03Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We need people to help.
- 18:06Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We need people to help right now, not tomorrow, not the next day, not on Monday, if it's a Saturday, we need help right now.
- 18:17Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And so if you're an organization and you can't provide that, then you don't then we don't need you as an organization.
- 18:26Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: And I say this with all due respect.
- 18:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: I say this with all due respect.
- 18:33Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If all you're gonna do is answer the phone and and and just be a listening ear, that's great.
- 18:40Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: That's great to have that listening ear.
- 18:43Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: But at the end of the day, we need help.
- 18:46Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We need somebody that's gonna step up, step out and help.
- 18:56Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They're gonna find an attorney to help pro bono.
- 19:00Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: They're gonna help find a counselor that's willing to help with the least amount of action that us as the affected, not infected, affected person.
- 19:19Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: So if you're able to, we are helping people through our show, our podcast.
- 19:29Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: If you're able to, you can donate uh donate to us at lovevoices.org, lovevoices.org, lovevoices.org.
- 19:41Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: This has been Justin Alan Hayes with Voices for Voices.
- 19:45Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Please be a voice for you or somebody in need.
- 19:49Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: We'll see you on the next show.
- 19:51Voices for Voices, Justin Alan Hayes: Bye bye.
