- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garren. You know, the excitement building
- 0:07Speaker 1: up around the Subway Series and the New York Knicks
- 0:11Speaker 1: Game six against the Celtics has New York City having
- 0:14Speaker 1: one leg up, but also reminds me that I'm not
- 0:18Speaker 1: alone and being that kid who loved talking about sports
- 0:22Speaker 1: going into an adult who love talking about sports. There's
- 0:25Speaker 1: so many of us in this community of the city
- 0:29Speaker 1: that just loves sports. I don't feel alone. I don't
- 0:31Speaker 1: feel annoying, I guess, and I just feel like I
- 0:34Speaker 1: fit in. So I want to say thank you for
- 0:37Speaker 1: making me feel included in the sports fanatics world right
- 0:42Speaker 1: as it is Fanatics Friday. What a Fanatics Friday, by
- 0:46Speaker 1: the way, And I'll drop the newest affiliate link, which
- 0:51Speaker 1: is a win for the Boroughs shirt for the Knicks.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I'll drop that in the link below for Fanatics Friday.
- 0:57Speaker 1: A busy one. We got the Subway Series, we got
- 1:00Speaker 1: Game six, I'm praying Nixon six and we'll go from there.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Shout out to Giro or j Row who has been
- 1:08Speaker 1: shooting a lot of the four Penn coverage and I
- 1:12Speaker 1: might have been in a few of those videos and
- 1:14Speaker 1: thankful for that. I'm fired up on this Friday. But
- 1:17Speaker 1: I also want to say, as I'm exciting and intriguing
- 1:21Speaker 1: and riveting, I've been saying the fact that Soda will
- 1:25Speaker 1: be on the opposite dugout tonight against Aaron Judge. We
- 1:30Speaker 1: can't lose sight of the news side of things. Also,
- 1:34Speaker 1: we cannot lose sight of a former FBI director being
- 1:40Speaker 1: completely stupid and irresponsible and not leaderlike I mean, when
- 1:50Speaker 1: you have multiple agencies now investigating you, James Comy for
- 1:57Speaker 1: eighty six forty seven, No way, that was just a
- 2:05Speaker 1: random formation on a beach pal. I mean, this is
- 2:13Speaker 1: worse than memos that he leaked. And now's the time
- 2:23Speaker 1: President Trump will get his revenge on Kobe. I bet
- 2:26Speaker 1: you he was waiting for this moment for a while
- 2:31Speaker 1: because I don't think he just wanted to fire him
- 2:34Speaker 1: like he did. I think he wants to do something
- 2:37Speaker 1: like this where he could literally get him in trouble
- 2:39Speaker 1: with law enforcement. Okay, because was he arrested for leaking
- 2:46Speaker 1: memos in the New York Times. This is the FBI director.
- 2:48Speaker 1: At the time, he wasn't arrested for that. Was he
- 2:51Speaker 1: wasn't taken in for that. But now now he's really
- 2:58Speaker 1: stepped in it because I don't care if it's well,
- 3:01Speaker 1: he really just means to get rid of him, or
- 3:03Speaker 1: he wants him removed, or you know that there's no
- 3:07Speaker 1: other way to look at what he said eighty sixteen
- 3:10Speaker 1: forty seven. I don't even feel good saying it because
- 3:16Speaker 1: it's awful, but for podcast purposes, I have to say
- 3:21Speaker 1: exactly what he was implying here. And I pray it
- 3:26Speaker 1: wasn't meaning the assassination because it's already been two attempts.
- 3:33Speaker 1: But he was definitely inciting something and stirring up something.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And I hope Cash can get to work on investigating
- 3:48Speaker 1: his predecessor once removed, because remember, Chris Ray lasts as
- 3:53Speaker 1: long as he did. I don't know how, but he did.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And I hope that the dhi It's Department Homeland Security
- 4:01Speaker 1: is also investigating this. You screwed up FBI director Comy,
- 4:09Speaker 1: and you made our country. As I keep saying, it's
- 4:14Speaker 1: fun to talk about Nixon six and the Subway series,
- 4:18Speaker 1: but if we don't have a secure country that's bigger
- 4:23Speaker 1: than any home run, the security of the country should
- 4:27Speaker 1: come first for everybody. That's why I like to pivot
- 4:31Speaker 1: between sports and news and adaptability. And in the course
- 4:37Speaker 1: I'm in they ask me how my podcast is fixing
- 4:42Speaker 1: problems and we're trying. You know, we went to d
- 4:44Speaker 1: C to deal with the funding issues. We are always
- 4:48Speaker 1: talking about accessibility, adaptability, but this stuff is important. This
- 4:52Speaker 1: is a problem. This is a problem When the former
- 4:58Speaker 1: FBI director is insinuating anything like this is a problem
- 5:07Speaker 1: and it must be addressed yesterday, today, and tomorrow because
- 5:20Speaker 1: we have a security breach. Whether you want a minute
- 5:24Speaker 1: or not, the FBI, the former FBI director James Comey,
- 5:27Speaker 1: who somehow is Grisham. Now what kind of reviews is
- 5:31Speaker 1: he paying people to give him? He writes, like John Grisham,
- 5:35Speaker 1: what is going on here? Daily Mail? It isn't a
- 5:45Speaker 1: fun day when your former FBI director is insinuating any
- 5:49Speaker 1: kind of violence, any kind of getting rid of because
- 5:56Speaker 1: we've seen what nut jobs are doing. Butler on Trump
- 6:01Speaker 1: National Golf Course in Florida, we see it. And so
- 6:14Speaker 1: I really hope this mistake from Calma he didn't pay
- 6:19Speaker 1: really for leaking memos. He has to pay for this.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And I think this is where Trump's revenge comes in.
- 6:32Speaker 1: His vindication is payback for that. And I remember playing
- 6:41Speaker 1: clips of his ABC interview with Trump about Trump, I mean,
- 6:44Speaker 1: the guy is classless. And this even goes back to
- 6:50Speaker 1: twenty sixteen where he said they found no evidence and
- 6:57Speaker 1: no intent to put Hillary jail. Look, there was intent there.
- 7:04Speaker 1: So all the last eight years is coming back to
- 7:08Speaker 1: hurt James call me because he stepped in it with
- 7:11Speaker 1: this threat, and I think getting rid of him from
- 7:17Speaker 1: the public eye by arresting him and locking him up
- 7:21Speaker 1: for everything that he's done. The negligent's FBI director, I
- 7:27Speaker 1: would say, and I believe Stoleeman Douglas under happened under
- 7:31Speaker 1: him as well. The FBI in Miami didn't catch the
- 7:34Speaker 1: tips and they couldn't. They didn't they didn't stop the
- 7:37Speaker 1: shooter that was Colly's FBI and they couldn't get into
- 7:48Speaker 1: cell phones. They couldn't do this. I mean, we're talking
- 7:51Speaker 1: a ten year history with Camy and maybe finally all
- 7:57Speaker 1: of that's caught up to him, because I think he
- 8:00Speaker 1: should be prosecuted, really for negligence as an FBI director
- 8:08Speaker 1: and decisions he made that should come under scrutiny, and
- 8:16Speaker 1: then the memo leak. How was he not facing I
- 8:18Speaker 1: don't remember facing any consequences for that memo leak. So yes,
- 8:25Speaker 1: we're going to enjoy the Knicks tonight against the Celtics
- 8:28Speaker 1: in Game six. We're going to enjoy a city on
- 8:30Speaker 1: fire with the Subway series, Soto coming back to Yankee
- 8:34Speaker 1: Staateum in a met uniform. We're going to enjoy all
- 8:36Speaker 1: those dramatics. But if we could just just arrest James
- 8:50Speaker 1: Comy wants him for all, I think we'd be better off.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I think if we can haul out a judge for
- 9:06Speaker 1: helping an illegal escape ice, which seems to be the story,
- 9:14Speaker 1: then they have the power to do that to former
- 9:17Speaker 1: FBI director and quite frankly, for the last ten years
- 9:21Speaker 1: that he's put us through as a country. And of
- 9:28Speaker 1: course Democrats hated him too because he wrote the letter
- 9:30Speaker 1: in October of sixteen, which added morefield to the fire.
- 9:35Speaker 1: The guy was so incompetent as FBI director, and it's
- 9:43Speaker 1: gone in competence to a threat that needs to be
- 9:49Speaker 1: taken seriously, and he needs to be held accountable. But
- 9:55Speaker 1: I believe accountable for not just this, but for the
- 9:59Speaker 1: last ten years of his utter negligence and arrogance and
- 10:09Speaker 1: dangerous decisions, especially that memo leak that was dangerous you're
- 10:20Speaker 1: talking at the time, you're leaking things at the times.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Howdya can you be? How can you can you be?
- 10:40Speaker 1: And he must be held accountable. And I think if
- 10:44Speaker 1: we can move on past James call me by holding
- 10:52Speaker 1: his feet to the fire with you know, arresting him
- 10:54Speaker 1: and holding him accountable to this, we will have one
- 10:58Speaker 1: leg up again. And that can fuck rid the FBI
- 11:03Speaker 1: of the energy and the past of James Comy. I'm
- 11:07Speaker 1: gon truly move forward. If they step up here and
- 11:13Speaker 1: as Spike Lee would, they do the right thing and
- 11:17Speaker 1: arrest James Colly. That's how we have one leg up
- 11:25Speaker 1: on this Fanatics Friday
