  Speaker 1: funny because I I try not to smoke weed that

  Speaker 1: much anymore because of this, and I think it's weed related,

  Speaker 1: which it's not. I still have some sort of acid

  Speaker 1: reflux or anyway, I smoked a little joint last night

  Speaker 1: when Joe and I got home from Malibu. We actually

  Speaker 1: went to go see John Lovett's who was the person

  Speaker 1: who introduced Joe and me like seventeen years ago, and

  Speaker 1: he's been taking credit for our romance ever since. So

  Speaker 1: I said we should invite him to know Boo Malibu,

  Speaker 1: which is where we had some dinner, and he was

  Speaker 1: very excited to be out. Nice yea, that's very Yeah.

  Speaker 1: I think we're all excited to be out after two years.

  Speaker 1: This is a little mini episode because we are on

  Speaker 1: hiatus for three weeks, but I just want we have

  Speaker 1: an update from some we do, from someone who has

  Speaker 1: called into the show, and we wanted to share that

  Speaker 1: with you guys. Yes, it's really exciting. This one is

  Speaker 1: from Sarah. She wrote in a while back. She was

  Speaker 1: having trouble taking compliments about the fact that she had

  Speaker 1: adopted a couple of kids and was when we talked
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: to her in the protom adopting a new one. She said,

  Speaker 1: I've been able to use the advice Chelsea gave me
• 2:00
  Speaker 1: when given compliments about my kids, and it's been great
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: to have something deeper than thank you to say in return.

  Speaker 1: One conversation I was not expecting to have was with
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: my youngest, who was just recently adopted. It was about
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: a month after Chelsea and I spoke, and me and
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: my little were downstairs picking up his toys. He told
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: me that he often thinks about how lucky and grateful
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: he is to have found our family, and how he
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: sometimes worries that he's only in our lives because COVID
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: happened and we were home anyway. With a piece of
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: my heart breaking inside, I thought about what to respond with,
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: and then Chelsea's advice hit me. I said to him,
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: I love that you're grateful for us, and you need
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: to know we're grateful for you too. You are here
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: because you are my purpose, and I was put on
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: this earth to share your joy and to help you
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: share yours. He looked at me and his eyes got
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: so big, and he said, while I've never been anyone's
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: purpose before, does that mean we're meant to be? Not
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: just that we were forced be? As we talked, I

  Speaker 1: thought more about our conversation and said, it's great for

  Speaker 1: me to be able to be good at something, and

  Speaker 1: I'm so happy that you think I'm good at being

  Speaker 1: your mom. Oh my god, what a tear girl. That

  Speaker 1: conversation with him will never leave my heart. And I

  Speaker 1: felt like I was armed with the best thing to

  Speaker 1: say because of my talk with Chelsea. This was not

  Speaker 1: the application I expected to use her advice in, but

  Speaker 1: it sure was an awesome one. I cannot wait to

  Speaker 1: see her on August thirteen in Calgary. I'll be the

  Speaker 1: to move on in the direction of like being empowered

  Speaker 1: or sitting in your power like, what are you doing? Well?
