- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hey, guys, welcome to the Almost Famous Headlines Today. Trista
- 0:10Speaker 2: is here with me and we're going to be breaking
- 0:12Speaker 2: down Bachelor headlines.
- 0:14Speaker 3: And if you.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Haven't already, just a reminder to go and vote in
- 0:18Speaker 2: the Almost Famous Podcast Awards yet you. Trista and I
- 0:23Speaker 2: both nominated. I think I am most like expressionful.
- 0:27Speaker 3: I think I just made up that word. I have
- 0:31Speaker 3: the most expressed face.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I know justin Glaize is definitely going to beat me
- 0:37Speaker 2: out of that category.
- 0:38Speaker 3: It's really fun categories, guys.
- 0:40Speaker 2: It's like who's your favorite lead, who is your favorite villain?
- 0:44Speaker 3: Most memorable moment stuff. It's really great.
- 0:46Speaker 2: If you're wondering how to vote, you got to go
- 0:48Speaker 2: to our socials and it will teach you exactly how
- 0:52Speaker 2: to cast that thing. All right, Trisa, let's get into
- 0:56Speaker 2: headline number one. It seems as if Lin Bristo is
- 1:01Speaker 2: soft launching her relationship with Zach Clark, Like you and
- 1:04Speaker 2: I totally have no idea what's going on?
- 1:07Speaker 3: No, I have no idea.
- 1:09Speaker 2: You guys know just went on a trip together, and
- 1:12Speaker 2: I know that you didn't talk about her love life
- 1:15Speaker 2: at all.
- 1:16Speaker 4: No, not at all. We don't talk about love life
- 1:19Speaker 4: or any We didn't talk really about life at all.
- 1:22Speaker 4: We just looked at the beautiful ocean.
- 1:26Speaker 3: That was her fortieth birthday party, right.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Yes, well one of them. I feel like she was.
- 1:32Speaker 4: She celebrated her fortieth a few times. But she planned
- 1:37Speaker 4: this trip to Mexico with like her Canadian besties and
- 1:41Speaker 4: Kat from Nashville and Whitney, who I freaking love. We
- 1:46Speaker 4: were roomies and I just love her. Yeah, but yeah,
- 1:51Speaker 4: we got to go to Cabo and it was so
- 1:54Speaker 4: much fun. I just love myself some Caitlin. And yeah,
- 1:58Speaker 4: I'm not spilling any today about what we talked about,
- 2:01Speaker 4: but yeah, go on, you go, Okay, fine.
- 2:05Speaker 2: So supposedly they were taking a very long, thirteen hour
- 2:08Speaker 2: road trip together where she sat in the passenger seat
- 2:12Speaker 2: and she actually passenger princess, napping, snacking and singing the
- 2:15Speaker 2: whole time.
- 2:16Speaker 3: She was posting along the way, and.
- 2:18Speaker 2: People feel like the arm that was present in the
- 2:22Speaker 2: driver's seat look a lot looks a lot like Zach's arm,
- 2:28Speaker 2: And they said that there's also like some people catching
- 2:31Speaker 2: a voice in the background sounds like Zach's voice. Another
- 2:34Speaker 2: person said, I know like a person that comment said,
- 2:37Speaker 2: I know that voice, I know it anywhere.
- 2:40Speaker 4: And I think there was a watch too, wasn't there
- 2:42Speaker 4: a watch situation?
- 2:44Speaker 2: Oh?
- 2:45Speaker 3: I matched together?
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah, like he there was a watch in a picture
- 2:51Speaker 4: of hers and they matched it. I mean, please, a
- 2:56Speaker 4: billion guys wear the same kind of watch, so you
- 2:58Speaker 4: know it is what it is. But yeah, I mean
- 3:03Speaker 4: I'm happy for her regardless of what's happening, because she
- 3:06Speaker 4: is very happy right now. And I am totally a
- 3:11Speaker 4: kind of person that would play detective and be like, hmmm,
- 3:16Speaker 4: is he wearing you know, a watch that looks like
- 3:18Speaker 4: something that he just posted. I would totally be the
- 3:21Speaker 4: detective person if I if I didn't know what was
- 3:24Speaker 4: going on. So I totally get it. I get why
- 3:28Speaker 4: people are interested in want to figure that out, but
- 3:32Speaker 4: I'll just leave it at I'm really happy for Kaitlin.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I know that when Caitlin broke up with Jason that
- 3:39Speaker 2: her plan was kind of to never put another relationship
- 3:42Speaker 2: online until there was a wedding ring on her fingers.
- 3:47Speaker 2: He was like, not an engagement ring, ah, wedding ring.
- 3:53Speaker 3: So we'll see if she sticks with that.
- 3:54Speaker 2: But this was a little bit of a tease, a
- 3:56Speaker 2: jump in what we would like to think is the
- 3:59Speaker 2: right direction, and as far as relationship growth goes, not
- 4:03Speaker 2: as far as you know posting on Instagram.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yeah right, yeah, yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 2: She seems very comfortable if this is in fact him
- 4:10Speaker 2: and if if they're in fact together or whatnot. Okay,
- 4:14Speaker 2: So then Daisy Kent reveals unexpected details about her life
- 4:18Speaker 2: living with her boyfriend Thor, which.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I still can't get over.
- 4:21Speaker 2: It's like a year and a half later that she's
- 4:23Speaker 2: dating a guy named Thor. If you guys don't know,
- 4:27Speaker 2: she and Thor had a kind of previous relationship back
- 4:31Speaker 2: in college and then they rekindled things after things didn't
- 4:34Speaker 2: work out with Joey on his season as a Bachelor.
- 4:37Speaker 3: They moved to Las Vegas.
- 4:40Speaker 2: They actually built the home together in Las Vegas, and
- 4:43Speaker 2: she was recently on Casual Chaos, which is Theresa Judice's
- 4:48Speaker 2: daughter's podcast, Gas Judaice, and she revealed that she and
- 4:53Speaker 2: Thor have separate toilets. That's the way they they designed
- 4:56Speaker 2: the house. I think this is a fantastic idea. She was,
- 4:59Speaker 2: we have a joined bathroom, but we have our own
- 5:02Speaker 2: sinks ones on my side, was on his side and
- 5:05Speaker 2: they face each other. There's a bath in the middle,
- 5:07Speaker 2: and then we have supper toilets, which I like. She
- 5:10Speaker 2: said that like they were joking that they had never
- 5:14Speaker 2: seen anything like this, but that they're like the setup,
- 5:17Speaker 2: and I'm like, duh, you like this setup? How nice
- 5:20Speaker 2: is that? That's the ideal situation. Actually, Jared's a tub guy.
- 5:24Speaker 2: So back before we had kids, I was like obsessed
- 5:26Speaker 2: with designing our house. I definitely thought like it was
- 5:29Speaker 2: time to build off forever home. And then you have
- 5:32Speaker 2: a kid and you're like, whatever we'll do right now, whatever.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I will live in the fineness, happiness, contentness until like
- 5:41Speaker 2: they're in upper elementary school, right and then I can
- 5:44Speaker 2: be a moment to think about this, decorate it and
- 5:47Speaker 2: not get destroyed.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Glad it actually didn't happen. But my dream situation was.
- 5:53Speaker 2: To have our bedroom and then to have two bathrooms
- 5:57Speaker 2: coming off the main bedroom.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I wanted whole.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Separate bedrooms because Jared's a tub guy, and I was like,
- 6:05Speaker 2: I want to take a bath without having his grime
- 6:08Speaker 2: and all his little body hairs on the side of
- 6:12Speaker 2: the dub once it drains out.
- 6:17Speaker 3: That's so true.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Neither of us are really big bath people. But I
- 6:22Speaker 4: totally get that because Blakesley will use our bathtub every
- 6:25Speaker 4: now and then, and yes, the grime that's left in there,
- 6:28Speaker 4: and even if it's just from the bubbles or whatever,
- 6:30Speaker 4: it's just kind of grue. So yeah, I totally get that. Yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 4: but I love that they. You know, we had in
- 6:38Speaker 4: our house and Veil, we had separate closets, and I
- 6:42Speaker 4: will always if there's a house that has separate closets
- 6:46Speaker 4: and it's in our budget, that's the house I want.
- 6:49Speaker 4: You know, that's a priority. We share a closet now
- 6:52Speaker 4: and it's big enough for us to share it. But
- 6:55Speaker 4: the bathroom situation, I've never really thought about separate bathrooms. Clearly,
- 7:00Speaker 4: separate sinks are a necessity if if that's something that's
- 7:04Speaker 4: in your budget, Like, oh, it's a game changer. I
- 7:08Speaker 4: feel like for any relationship, if you can have a
- 7:10Speaker 4: separate sink, it will save your marriage.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a big one. So that's where you start.
- 7:16Speaker 2: And then I would say step number two, separate toilets
- 7:19Speaker 2: is pretty nice, and step number three whole separate.
- 7:24Speaker 3: So Daisy, we understand you. This is not weird.
- 7:27Speaker 4: And I actually have to say that. We were just
- 7:30Speaker 4: in Tahoe together her Daisy was there for pickleball tournament,
- 7:35Speaker 4: which we missed you at. But yeah, so we were
- 7:39Speaker 4: talking about how she wants to write another children's book,
- 7:44Speaker 4: possibly in the future, and I was like, oh, you
- 7:47Speaker 4: need to put Thor in the book, like maybe make
- 7:50Speaker 4: him like a little you're, like pet dog or something.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 4: I was like, you even put Thor, But yeah, you're
- 8:00Speaker 4: write that name Thor. It's so interesting to me. I know,
- 8:04Speaker 4: I don't know where.
- 8:05Speaker 2: It is because he doesn't look like a Thor either,
- 8:07Speaker 2: because you just obviously imagine Chris Hemsworth.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Yes.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah, so Lauren Lyondyke she had a pajama baby shower. Well,
- 8:17Speaker 2: how about your first thought about a baby shower for
- 8:20Speaker 2: your fourth kid. My thought, I'm pretty much assuming here
- 8:27Speaker 2: that what happened was she they had a asex me,
- 8:31Speaker 2: like they biologically said, we're closing the door on this.
- 8:35Speaker 2: So if they did it to his body, they definitely
- 8:38Speaker 2: did it to the stuff in the house, so they
- 8:40Speaker 2: probably got rid of everything.
- 8:43Speaker 4: And so right, yeah, well I think also, you know,
- 8:47Speaker 4: when you're having a baby shower or wedding shower, it's
- 8:50Speaker 4: like a way to get started with all the basics
- 8:52Speaker 4: and for people to shower you and spoil you and
- 8:55Speaker 4: all of that stuff. And it doesn't seem like Ari
- 8:58Speaker 4: and Lauren are are struggling financially. Yeah, so that would
- 9:08Speaker 4: be the thing that I feel like people would have
- 9:10Speaker 4: the biggest problem with is really, you're having a baby shower.
- 9:13Speaker 4: But I feel like, more so baby showers are just
- 9:16Speaker 4: a way to get together with your girlfriends or your
- 9:19Speaker 4: family or whatever and celebrate, you know, a new baby
- 9:23Speaker 4: is coming. It's not like I don't think that Lauren
- 9:26Speaker 4: was probably like here is my wish list, get me
- 9:29Speaker 4: all of these.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Things between brand partnerships, brand gifting, whatever they have in
- 9:35Speaker 2: the house from the kids. Like I'm sure that it
- 9:39Speaker 2: probably said something like no gifts or like bring a book.
- 9:41Speaker 2: That's like a lot of things for a sprinkle is
- 9:43Speaker 2: bring a book, or like bring a diaper or something
- 9:46Speaker 2: like that.
- 9:47Speaker 4: And I love that the whole Ari I was following
- 9:52Speaker 4: along with his the Hatcheler mansion, the whole chicken coop
- 9:57Speaker 4: that he made he made from scratch, Like it's actually
- 10:01Speaker 4: really satisfying to watch those videos, like how he does
- 10:05Speaker 4: like a time lapse of like how he built the
- 10:08Speaker 4: whatever he's building at the time. He is really becoming
- 10:11Speaker 4: very handy, and I loved seeing him create that like
- 10:15Speaker 4: little backdrop for the for the shower too. It's it's
- 10:19Speaker 4: kind of amazing that he's got that talent.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Sometimes I'm like Ari, like, wow, do you do all this?
- 10:25Speaker 2: How are you like a master reeltor you're selling multimillion
- 10:29Speaker 2: dollar houses, you have your social media influencer life, you
- 10:34Speaker 2: know work, Yeah, she's doing that. You have three kids
- 10:38Speaker 2: with the four on the way, and then you're just
- 10:40Speaker 2: in your spare time making Hatchler mansions for the chickens.
- 10:44Speaker 4: They have to have a nanny.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Well, their kids are in school now.
- 10:48Speaker 2: That's what they told us when we were like when
- 10:50Speaker 2: they were trying to get pregnant again and we're like.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Really like, how like we are so like we can't
- 10:58Speaker 3: do more than two? How could you do full?
- 11:00Speaker 2: And they were like, well, that's because of where you
- 11:02Speaker 2: guys are right now. Because when your kids are like
- 11:05Speaker 2: three and a half plus and they're in school like
- 11:08Speaker 2: for a lot of the day, then you realize that,
- 11:12Speaker 2: like you're look, you have so much more time than
- 11:14Speaker 2: you had had for the past like three four years,
- 11:18Speaker 2: And that's when you're gonna have like the sadness.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, well we'll see. I'm not there yet.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Oh girlfriend, the sadness. I just uh, I just took
- 11:26Speaker 4: my last first picture of Max. It was his first
- 11:29Speaker 4: day of senior year. Oh my god, today, like I
- 11:34Speaker 4: mean day today. Yeah, it was their first day of school.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Do you have one from every first day of school?
- 11:43Speaker 4: I literally did that earlier. I went back and I
- 11:46Speaker 4: lost a bunch of pictures because I had like a
- 11:51Speaker 4: what do you call it, a hard drive where he's
- 11:54Speaker 4: or burnt up or whatever. So I lost a crap
- 11:58Speaker 4: ton of pictures, which was very sad. But I do
- 12:02Speaker 4: have some very devastating, like tens of thousands of pictures.
- 12:07Speaker 4: I try not to think about it, but anyway, yes,
- 12:11Speaker 4: I went through. I went through pictures and I found
- 12:16Speaker 4: I'm not going to post this on but I'm just
- 12:18Speaker 4: going to show you because this was his very first
- 12:23Speaker 4: day of preschool. Ryan's walking him to preschool. How tiny
- 12:28Speaker 4: he is. I'm literally like, you have to use this
- 12:32Speaker 4: like when we say goodbye to him, to when he
- 12:35Speaker 4: goes to college or whatever he does.
- 12:36Speaker 3: After school, Like that's my baby.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Anyway, I can't believe it goes very yes, so, I
- 12:43Speaker 2: mean Jared n I'm married six years now. Dawson's even
- 12:47Speaker 2: just saying Dawson's three and a half, which means I
- 12:48Speaker 2: was pregnant with him four years ago. It's like, everything's crazy.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I wanted to talk more about Ari though in his building.
- 13:07Speaker 2: So yeah, he's been showing off a lot of his
- 13:09Speaker 2: handyman skills on social lately, and we.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Just can't help her wonder that maybe he's trying.
- 13:16Speaker 2: To get the attention of HGTV for the new Bachelor
- 13:19Speaker 2: mansion renovation show.
- 13:21Speaker 3: What's your take?
- 13:22Speaker 4: Yeah, duh, I mean it's a smart move. I love
- 13:27Speaker 4: that whole Stu. I mean Ryan and I think this
- 13:29Speaker 4: is a little known fact. We did a show for
- 13:32Speaker 4: HGTV called Rocky Mountain Reno. It was a it was
- 13:35Speaker 4: just a pilot. They didn't pick it up. But I
- 13:39Speaker 4: love that whole space. It is so fun. I'm always
- 13:44Speaker 4: watching Jojo and Jordan's videos. She just bought this new
- 13:47Speaker 4: like house to you know, renovate and put on the
- 13:51Speaker 4: market to rent, and I want to be her, Like,
- 13:54Speaker 4: I want to do that so badly. It seems so fun,
- 13:58Speaker 4: even though so gross at the same time. But so fun.
- 14:02Speaker 2: See I think that Jojo and Jordan would be the
- 14:05Speaker 2: most obvious pick for that because they're the most modern
- 14:09Speaker 2: relevant Bachelor couple. That that's where she that's where she started.
- 14:13Speaker 2: That was her first job, so she was doing what
- 14:15Speaker 2: she was on Ben's season. So yeah, I think that.
- 14:20Speaker 2: But they're so busy. Oh Tyler, I think Tyler. Tyler
- 14:24Speaker 2: is going to announce that he has a new show
- 14:26Speaker 2: with Ryan see her. You know Ryan from Million Dollar Listing. Yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure Tyler is going to be on a
- 14:34Speaker 2: million dollar Listing type show.
- 14:36Speaker 3: That's I think you batate GP TV for him. What
- 14:41Speaker 3: would you do it? Would you do it?
- 14:44Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, hell yes, sign me up.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I would.
- 14:47Speaker 4: I would do it in a heartbeat. Without the interior design, well,
- 14:52Speaker 4: I mean it will. It would depend on schedule because
- 14:55Speaker 4: you know, the kids and whatever and Ryan and I
- 14:58Speaker 4: can't just leave my dog. Yeah, but if no one's
- 15:03Speaker 4: watching him, But yes, I would love that. I love
- 15:07Speaker 4: renovation shows so much fun, and to renovate the Bachelor
- 15:12Speaker 4: mansion that is iconic and epic and will live in
- 15:17Speaker 4: history for all time, So I would love to be
- 15:19Speaker 4: part of it. Pardon me, I'm having a having a
- 15:22Speaker 4: hot flash.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Oh great, that's hot flash.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Oh yeah, so fun.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Our first bachelorette is having hot flashes.
- 15:29Speaker 3: So time goes by fast.
- 15:35Speaker 2: I always like to remind myself of this terrifying fact
- 15:38Speaker 2: that I went to a Jonah. My first Jonah's brother's
- 15:40Speaker 2: consulort was in two thousand and eight, which means that
- 15:44Speaker 2: it was I'm really good at math, like seventeen years ago,
- 15:49Speaker 2: you know, sixteen seventeen years ago.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Uouanteen because my son was born in two thousand and seven.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Okay, it's twenty twenty five, so Jesus Christ.
- 15:58Speaker 2: So my first jone is probably it was eighteen years ago,
- 16:02Speaker 2: and that met in eighteen years from now, when I am.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Fifty sucking five. Yeah, I'll be through menopause.
- 16:14Speaker 2: So like the amount of time from my first show
- 16:16Speaker 2: on the PROD concert too, I think that why you know.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Yeah what?
- 16:20Speaker 4: Oh yes, girl, Oh yeah, I'm fifty two right now,
- 16:23Speaker 4: so I right in there.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yea. It's all right, everybody, don't make fun
- 16:29Speaker 3: of my math. I know that my numbers are a
- 16:31Speaker 3: little off there.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'm very very tired, guys, and that's where I'm going
- 16:36Speaker 2: to leave it.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Give yourself some Grace.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Yeah, moving moving on.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Sam McKinley and Ali Joe Hanks. You guys know them
- 16:44Speaker 2: from the past two seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelorette,
- 16:47Speaker 2: and you know both of them from this season of Paradise. Well,
- 16:53Speaker 2: they're revealing now if they'd ever talked before going on Paradise.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Now you may not remember this little nuance, but while
- 17:00Speaker 2: they were both on this season, they never overlapped in time,
- 17:04Speaker 2: so they missed each other by one week, just days really,
- 17:07Speaker 2: and now they are dating in real life. Their like
- 17:10Speaker 2: launch posts was saying that they put it into their
- 17:14Speaker 2: own hands. Sometimes you had to put into your own hands,
- 17:17Speaker 2: and they are admitting that. He she reached out to
- 17:21Speaker 2: him a couple months ago during Grant seasons airing, and
- 17:25Speaker 2: she messaged him and said, I actually just got compared
- 17:28Speaker 2: to you on the show, like right after the episode,
- 17:32Speaker 2: after the basketball date, and we started chatting for a
- 17:35Speaker 2: little bit. And then a couple months later I posted
- 17:37Speaker 2: a photo and he DMed me and then we started
- 17:40Speaker 2: talking about Paradise. We both didn't know if we were
- 17:43Speaker 2: going to go or not. And then he answered me
- 17:46Speaker 2: and I stopped answering his messages.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Good job, good job.
- 17:50Speaker 2: She says that if they both went that he would
- 17:53Speaker 2: be someone that she wanted to meet in real life
- 17:56Speaker 2: and explore relationship in paradise, So she did not want
- 17:59Speaker 2: to keep the conversation going via DM and get all
- 18:02Speaker 2: those questions on the beach. She wanted to happen. It
- 18:05Speaker 2: had to happen organically. Obviously that did not happen, But
- 18:09Speaker 2: they were gonna make stuff happen themselves, and they didn't
- 18:11Speaker 2: need TV. They didn't need TV to book a plane ticket,
- 18:14Speaker 2: That's what he said. And once he found out that
- 18:18Speaker 2: she wasn't there and he was going home, he was like,
- 18:21Speaker 2: all right, that's fine. And then they started messaging each
- 18:25Speaker 2: other again and got a phone call, got a number,
- 18:31Speaker 2: before you know it, got on a flight.
- 18:33Speaker 3: That's it. Pretty love it? Yeah, why not?
- 18:37Speaker 4: Like I mean, just just the idea of pat of
- 18:42Speaker 4: Paradise and them going to Paradise. I think probably sparked
- 18:46Speaker 4: the conversation even more, that made maybe had already started
- 18:49Speaker 4: for them, So why not, like, you know, go for it.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Even though they're a long distance, they're they're still young.
- 18:56Speaker 4: I think they're a really cute couple, and I think
- 19:00Speaker 4: it's great, you know, super cute I think that. Did
- 19:03Speaker 4: I talk about this with you, because I know Jade
- 19:05Speaker 4: came up with the idea. I'm not sure if we
- 19:07Speaker 4: talked about it, but she said that it would be
- 19:09Speaker 4: a good idea if Paradise like kind of had everybody
- 19:13Speaker 4: there at once, yes, where there was no entrances, because
- 19:17Speaker 4: then like everybody could see, hey, of this group, will
- 19:20Speaker 4: there ever be anyone for me?
- 19:22Speaker 3: And it could create more couples.
- 19:24Speaker 4: I think it'd be great. Like, I don't I get
- 19:26Speaker 4: that bringing people in.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Is like exciting.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Yeah, like people are like who's coming, and it's the
- 19:34Speaker 4: what who knows? And what ifs and all of that.
- 19:37Speaker 4: But I do think it would be awesome to have
- 19:40Speaker 4: everyone there at the same time. They'd still have a
- 19:42Speaker 4: ton of content. You know, it might not be as
- 19:45Speaker 4: exciting with the arrivals, but you could still make it
- 19:48Speaker 4: exciting somehow. I don't know. Yeah, I think I think
- 19:52Speaker 4: that would be fair. You know, so if you're going
- 19:55Speaker 4: to be on Paradise, then you have the chance to
- 19:58Speaker 4: meet all of these people. And I have a question
- 20:03Speaker 4: for you. Were there less people this season?
- 20:06Speaker 2: Yeah, they were like significantly less people because of the
- 20:09Speaker 2: Goldens being there.
- 20:10Speaker 4: Okay, that's what I was wondering.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Yeah, they also usually bring people in a little bit
- 20:15Speaker 2: longer into the season. But I think because they wanted
- 20:17Speaker 2: to do the competition, they didn't. Yeah, right, they did
- 20:20Speaker 2: without that, which makes sense and is good because those
- 20:23Speaker 2: people that always come in the past the last couple
- 20:25Speaker 2: of weeks, they never have a chance anyway. So I
- 20:28Speaker 2: think that because they always get the complaint of why
- 20:30Speaker 2: is there even people coming in now there's not a
- 20:32Speaker 2: chance for them, They're like, all right, well, we'll do
- 20:35Speaker 2: without that. In sad news, I'm so sorry.
- 20:40Speaker 3: I feel so bad for them.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Nick and Natalie have revealed came out today on their
- 20:47Speaker 2: episode of Vile Off Files that she is currently going
- 20:52Speaker 2: through her third miscarriage this year. He said, as you
- 20:57Speaker 2: can see, Natalie is not with us. There's no easy
- 20:59Speaker 2: way to talk about it. Sadly, Natalie experienced another miscarriage.
- 21:03Speaker 2: It's her third this year or third this year, and
- 21:05Speaker 2: there's really no way good of saying it, like it
- 21:08Speaker 2: just sucks, and she's obviously at home resting and healing
- 21:12Speaker 2: it both emotionally and physically, and it's just.
- 21:16Speaker 3: It's so sad. I feel awful for them.
- 21:19Speaker 2: He said that it's a bit of a scary time
- 21:21Speaker 2: for him and Natalie because they experienced the previous two
- 21:24Speaker 2: miscarriages this year and this is it's just it's far
- 21:27Speaker 2: less normal to have two or three back to back
- 21:29Speaker 2: now there. He said that we're in kind of that
- 21:33Speaker 2: scary process of running tests and finding out more to
- 21:37Speaker 2: know about ourselves, you know, biologically. And the weird thing
- 21:40Speaker 2: is that if you want them to find something, like you,
- 21:44Speaker 2: you want them to find something, but then you don't
- 21:46Speaker 2: want them to find something. It's like that weird uncharted
- 21:49Speaker 2: territory of fact finding. That's what they're going through right now.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Oh I hate, I mean, I know, heartbroken for them.
- 21:56Speaker 4: It makes me want to cry. I feel that the
- 22:00Speaker 4: not knowing part because when Ryan was really sick, you know,
- 22:04Speaker 4: we we just wanted answers. It took forever to find
- 22:09Speaker 4: an answer. I mean to the point where I was
- 22:14Speaker 4: like hoping that he had cancer. It got that bad
- 22:19Speaker 4: because I wanted I just wanted to have some way
- 22:24Speaker 4: of focusing our energy more on getting him better. And
- 22:28Speaker 4: without the information, you know, of what was going on,
- 22:33Speaker 4: you couldn't do that. So yeah, part of me was like,
- 22:36Speaker 4: I think both of us have said this, you kind
- 22:40Speaker 4: of wish for something that is known so you can
- 22:43Speaker 4: attack it. Yeah. So I totally get the unknown. I
- 22:46Speaker 4: totally get hating the unknown and why this is happening
- 22:50Speaker 4: to them, and my heart just goes out to him.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and then sometimes it's like, okay, well, if we
- 22:55Speaker 2: get task and finds out there that there's something is wrong,
- 22:57Speaker 2: at least we like can know, right if there's a
- 23:01Speaker 2: way to fix it, and we can like take action.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Exactly exactly, yes, right.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Another Nick news he's clarifying the nuptial clause in the
- 23:22Speaker 2: Bachelor contract. Nick said that he was offered insight on
- 23:25Speaker 2: how the Bachelor franchise weddings are negotiated.
- 23:28Speaker 3: And this is something that you might you might know of.
- 23:31Speaker 2: There's something in our contracts that we sign where it's
- 23:34Speaker 2: like if they give a crap about your relationship and
- 23:37Speaker 2: you want to get married on TV, it's already a
- 23:41Speaker 2: kind of pre arranged thing in your contract.
- 23:44Speaker 3: He said.
- 23:45Speaker 2: It's more free wedding rather than you get paid. Do
- 23:50Speaker 2: you remember this?
- 23:52Speaker 4: So no, because we are the first ones to negotiate it.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Okay, So so after you they started putting it in
- 23:58Speaker 2: the contracts.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Yes, because they were like, we're not going to pay
- 24:03Speaker 4: everybody a million.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Dollars, right, Okay, so once you negotiated and you got
- 24:07Speaker 2: the money, they were like, okay, and.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Now there, we're not doing that again.
- 24:14Speaker 2: We really wanted that, we wanted it enough for a million.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Dollars, but we're never gonna want it that bad again.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, And I'm sure Nick is referring to
- 24:25Speaker 2: Bachelor and Bachelor atte lead contracts. There is something in
- 24:30Speaker 2: the nuptial contract for just like a regular cast member,
- 24:33Speaker 2: and I really yeah, or paradise or something, because it
- 24:38Speaker 2: makes sense because like if you're marrying the lead, like
- 24:41Speaker 2: then totally okay. So he's saying, if they care about
- 24:45Speaker 2: your relationship and if you want to get married on TV,
- 24:48Speaker 2: then it's like, okay, here's your free wedding, no paycheck
- 24:52Speaker 2: or minimal paycheck.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I'm sure that's what it focuses on, Like we're not
- 24:55Speaker 4: paying you, but we'll give you a free wedding.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not mandating you to have have a wedding
- 25:00Speaker 3: on TV.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Now, no, no no.
- 25:02Speaker 3: No no no no no no.
- 25:05Speaker 4: I would think not because there have been plenty of
- 25:07Speaker 4: people who have gotten married without it being on telephone.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Well, they also didn't want it to be of like
- 25:12Speaker 2: a lot of people wanted it to be on TV,
- 25:15Speaker 2: but it wasn't and people.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Are gonna be like that. I actually probably wanted hers
- 25:19Speaker 3: on TV.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I can firmly tell you I did not want my
- 25:24Speaker 2: wedding on TV. I had been to Bachelor weddings before,
- 25:29Speaker 2: you know, many actually, I think three by the time
- 25:34Speaker 2: Jared and I were planning our wedding, and I was like,
- 25:38Speaker 2: I don't want to not have full control of my wedding.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I want to be my style with my guests. I
- 25:46Speaker 2: don't want it to be an orchestra event. I feel like, again,
- 25:50Speaker 2: with you having your for the first wedding, you probably
- 25:55Speaker 2: did get to have like all the.
- 25:56Speaker 3: People that you ever wanted at your wedding, right.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yes, I had total control, not control necessarily,
- 26:04Speaker 4: it's not the right word, but input and and my
- 26:08Speaker 4: input was heard, you know, and and executed. It wasn't like, oh, well,
- 26:16Speaker 4: I'd really like to have badly Mishkad do my my
- 26:19Speaker 4: dress and they would be like, okay, well, whatever, We're
- 26:23Speaker 4: not going to do that. They like actually listened and
- 26:27Speaker 4: implemented pretty much all the things that I that I
- 26:31Speaker 4: wanted to do. I mean, Mindy Weiss was in charge really,
- 26:35Speaker 4: and I just kind of was like, I was like,
- 26:38Speaker 4: whatever she wants to do, you know, I like pink,
- 26:43Speaker 4: and so you just roll with that. Yeah, there are
- 26:47Speaker 4: things looking back that I really wish I would have done,
- 26:51Speaker 4: But that wasn't like because it was on television. It
- 26:53Speaker 4: was it was more like, you know, little little moments
- 26:58Speaker 4: that I wish I would have done. But yeah, I
- 27:03Speaker 4: feel very lucky still that we had the wedding that
- 27:05Speaker 4: we did.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 27:06Speaker 2: There was so there was reasons beyond just aesthetic choices
- 27:10Speaker 2: for me and guest choices. It was like, yes, you
- 27:14Speaker 2: never get it, they're gonna do with the edit of
- 27:16Speaker 2: your wedding. Like I just think about Jade and Tanner
- 27:19Speaker 2: or like some of our best friends. I'm just like,
- 27:22Speaker 2: I'm so sorry that I was any sort of character crying.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Over a boy at your wedding.
- 27:31Speaker 2: And that it aired that way, and that our storyline
- 27:34Speaker 2: was like as prevalent as your wedding was.
- 27:38Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 27:38Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, it definitely affected you. I totally understand.
- 27:42Speaker 4: You have every reason to feel like that, especially because
- 27:45Speaker 4: it was Jade and Tanner. Yeah, I mean, and it
- 27:48Speaker 4: was a beautiful wedding, and for them to not just
- 27:51Speaker 4: solely focus on that is is a bit sad, and
- 27:54Speaker 4: it is weird because I mean, we took over an
- 27:57Speaker 4: entire resort in Palm Springs. It was ranch On and
- 28:00Speaker 4: now I think it's the Ritz. It's the Ritz Carlton now.
- 28:04Speaker 4: But so we had the entire resort there were there
- 28:06Speaker 4: was nobody else there, and a lot of the rooms
- 28:10Speaker 4: were for executives and people we had never met before.
- 28:14Speaker 4: You know, they're behind the scenes at Disney or ABC
- 28:17Speaker 4: or Warner or whatever, and so that's weird. But it
- 28:22Speaker 4: really didn't affect me like I was. I was happy
- 28:25Speaker 4: that it was like of a resort that was full
- 28:28Speaker 4: of people that were all there to to celebrate the
- 28:32Speaker 4: love that Ryan and I had for each other.
- 28:34Speaker 3: So yeah, it was great.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Our final headline of the day is Rachel Rechia given
- 28:42Speaker 2: the real deats behind why Clayton broke up with her
- 28:45Speaker 2: for the second time, really broke broke up as a
- 28:48Speaker 2: really heavy term here, I'm just using it for the
- 28:50Speaker 2: gist of it all. On Perfect Match, there was like
- 28:53Speaker 2: twelve hours where they were going to maybe like try
- 28:56Speaker 2: to recogn like rekindle something, and then right before he
- 29:01Speaker 2: had to like go into the boardroom. If you watch
- 29:04Speaker 2: Perfect Match, you understand what I'm talking about. He kind
- 29:07Speaker 2: of went to her and said, hey, never mind, don't
- 29:10Speaker 2: think that we're sued for each other because he wanted
- 29:12Speaker 2: to go on a date with a fresh person and
- 29:16Speaker 2: on the show, uh, he talked, you know, he gives
- 29:19Speaker 2: like certain reasonings, but Rachel says that the real reason
- 29:23Speaker 2: is because because he was saying that it was his intuition,
- 29:25Speaker 2: my intuition is saying no, and she's she's saying what
- 29:29Speaker 2: didn't make the cut is that he wants a gym
- 29:33Speaker 2: girly like he wants a real gym rat of a girl,
- 29:36Speaker 2: because he has he has used the gym as like
- 29:40Speaker 2: his outlets since he was twelve years old, and he
- 29:42Speaker 2: made sure that it is such a big part of
- 29:45Speaker 2: his life and he needs somebody to understand that and
- 29:47Speaker 2: share in that time with him. So so there's that
- 29:53Speaker 2: and that, and then today he he he posted something
- 30:01Speaker 2: on Instagram about his daily workout routine and said, just
- 30:05Speaker 2: letting you guys know that Rachel and I have spoken
- 30:10Speaker 2: multiple times this week and we both agree that we're
- 30:13Speaker 2: just not compatible for multiple reasons.
- 30:15Speaker 4: So and didn't he say something else in the like
- 30:20Speaker 4: on that story that he shared today. Hold on, I'm
- 30:24Speaker 4: gonna pull it up.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Here it is, he said.
- 30:28Speaker 4: And by the way, Rachel, maybe you said this already.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Rachel and I have spoken on the phone twice over
- 30:34Speaker 4: the last week. We both agree that we have different
- 30:36Speaker 4: lifestyles and that's perfectly okay. We respect that about one
- 30:38Speaker 4: another and just want the other to be happy. We
- 30:41Speaker 4: also both agree we make a mess on reality TV
- 30:44Speaker 4: together and need to quit doing that. Which, yeah, I
- 30:49Speaker 4: feel like being married for almost twenty three years, you know,
- 30:56Speaker 4: hindsight's twenty twenty, of course, and I've been through a
- 30:59Speaker 4: lot of years of marriage. But even when I was
- 31:02Speaker 4: looking for someone to be tied to forever, you know,
- 31:08Speaker 4: to be with together forever, I wasn't if there was
- 31:15Speaker 4: something that was that I was passionate about, I wasn't
- 31:18Speaker 4: expecting that person to like share in that passion exactly
- 31:26Speaker 4: as I do, do you know what I mean? So
- 31:29Speaker 4: I love hanging out with my friends and I'm not
- 31:34Speaker 4: expecting I wasn't expecting the person that I chose to
- 31:37Speaker 4: be with forever to like come join me with my friends.
- 31:41Speaker 4: I just wanted him to respect that I love hanging
- 31:45Speaker 4: out with my friends and give me that time. Now.
- 31:47Speaker 4: I do understand that you want to share your passions together,
- 31:51Speaker 4: and that's that's great. Of course you want to be
- 31:54Speaker 4: compatible with someone. But I feel like, is he at
- 31:57Speaker 4: the gym for like fifteen hours a day? Probably not.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I think that's why he wrote it all down, like
- 32:04Speaker 2: showing how much of a time commitment it is. But
- 32:06Speaker 2: also I think that this is just one of the
- 32:09Speaker 2: things that he said just to make her feel better
- 32:14Speaker 2: to him, to feel better because he knew that if
- 32:17Speaker 2: he were to walk into an actual relationship with Rachel
- 32:21Speaker 2: when it was like more like dazing versus like a
- 32:23Speaker 2: few hours, he was gonna get in trouble. He was
- 32:26Speaker 2: gonna find himself in trouble because if he started again
- 32:30Speaker 2: and it didn't end well again, it'd be like ah.
- 32:32Speaker 2: And you know, and for Clayton, it looks like this
- 32:35Speaker 2: this show isn't really making him look the best. I
- 32:38Speaker 2: haven't watched much of it yet, but I know that
- 32:41Speaker 2: he doesn't love the way that he's being portrayed on it.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Oh really Yeah, So I.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Feel like.
- 32:49Speaker 3: He messed up either way.
- 32:51Speaker 2: But he also says in the post that, like, both
- 32:53Speaker 2: of them are very messy on reality TV and they
- 32:57Speaker 2: don't plan on doing a dating show again. I don't
- 33:00Speaker 2: want to throw Rachel onto the bus with this. I
- 33:02Speaker 2: love Rachel on my TV. She's such a beautiful personality
- 33:05Speaker 2: and a beautiful face at that too.
- 33:07Speaker 4: So yeah, agreed. And for him to say, like because
- 33:11Speaker 4: she doesn't go to the gym that she's not beautiful
- 33:14Speaker 4: or for me, I don't know. I mean, to each
- 33:17Speaker 4: their own right, to each their own. And if that's
- 33:19Speaker 4: something that's really important for him to have in a relationship,
- 33:23Speaker 4: someone to go to the gym with him, then to
- 33:27Speaker 4: each their own. But I think maybe just in terms of,
- 33:32Speaker 4: you know, unsolicited advice, I do hate unsolicited advice, so
- 33:35Speaker 4: I hate that I'm even saying that. But if he's
- 33:38Speaker 4: looking for a solid foundation of a relationship, I think
- 33:43Speaker 4: it's more about respect for each other's passions and not
- 33:46Speaker 4: holding it against them that they don't share the same
- 33:49Speaker 4: pas exactly exactly.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Well, Clayton, we're sorry, but we're sorry too, you know, yeah,
- 33:56Speaker 2: to get you a little bit, poor guy.
- 33:58Speaker 3: He gets dug out a lot.
- 34:00Speaker 2: And he is going to come back on our podcast
- 34:02Speaker 2: to talk more about his experience on Perfect Match.
- 34:07Speaker 3: He did. Just come on.
- 34:08Speaker 2: If you guys haven't listened to recap episode two, this
- 34:12Speaker 2: is before Rachel enters the villa, and you can listen
- 34:16Speaker 2: to how he feels about that episode, about the prior episode,
- 34:19Speaker 2: just how he fit in amongst the cast, and how
- 34:23Speaker 2: his portrayal is.
- 34:24Speaker 3: But then we'll get.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Him on more to talk about his relationship with Rachel.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Give him that opportunity since she just had the opportunity
- 34:29Speaker 2: on next podcast to talk about her experience with Clayton.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Yeah, and that well, And can I say really quickly,
- 34:35Speaker 4: I feel like I don't feel like we're taking a
- 34:38Speaker 4: dig at him necessarily. I think that he has said
- 34:41Speaker 4: what he's said. And if you are on reality television,
- 34:45Speaker 4: you know there's that part of you if you speak
- 34:49Speaker 4: about someone and you we share the same feelings about Rachel,
- 34:55Speaker 4: I adore.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I love her so much, gee, I love her.
- 34:59Speaker 4: She's She's one of my favorite people from Bachelor Nation,
- 35:03Speaker 4: and we have a great time when we're together, and
- 35:05Speaker 4: I will go to bat for her every day of
- 35:09Speaker 4: the week and twice on Sunday, you know what I mean.
- 35:10Speaker 4: So I don't think we're taking a dig at him.
- 35:14Speaker 4: I think that it's just knowing what I know about
- 35:18Speaker 4: marriage and how hard it is and just what to
- 35:24Speaker 4: look for when you're looking for a solid foundation. I
- 35:28Speaker 4: just feel like maybe possibly rethinking, you know, things, because
- 35:35Speaker 4: maybe the gym is not what you should be focusing on,
- 35:39Speaker 4: you know. So I don't think that's a dig I
- 35:42Speaker 4: think that's just advice for anyone if you're looking for
- 35:44Speaker 4: a relationship, like get to know what people that you're
- 35:50Speaker 4: hanging out with are passionate about, but just don't hold
- 35:53Speaker 4: it against them if it's not something that you don't
- 35:57Speaker 4: necessarily like to do. So anyway, Yeah, we we wish
- 36:02Speaker 4: Clayton all the best, all the best, as as in
- 36:06Speaker 4: everybody who's on Bachelor Nation. It's always I try to
- 36:10Speaker 4: like look at everyone and think positively. But when you're
- 36:14Speaker 4: saying certain things that don't necessarily make sense, we just
- 36:18Speaker 4: have to like address it and then we can move on.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you just should have been like, you
- 36:24Speaker 2: know what, Rachel, this is gonna be sloppy.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Let's let's not do this. It's gonna be sloppy. I
- 36:30Speaker 3: just say that. That's the honest answer.
- 36:32Speaker 4: Like there doesn't even have to be a reason you're
- 36:34Speaker 4: so right, there didn't have to be a reason. I
- 36:36Speaker 4: think he was. He was looking for a reason. And really,
- 36:39Speaker 4: if your intuition is telling you that that's not the person,
- 36:42Speaker 4: then that's not the person. You don't have to have
- 36:45Speaker 4: a reason.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Well.
- 36:45Speaker 2: I feel like Clayton probably got both ways. You know,
- 36:48Speaker 2: he got now for saying she didn't go to the gym.
- 36:51Speaker 2: He got for saying it was intuition. So yeah, right,
