- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's variety, Big ninety eight point seven. It's gave an
- 0:02Speaker 1: Angie seventy three today, little cloudy and probably gonna see
- 0:05Speaker 1: some rain off and on, and that even heads on
- 0:08Speaker 1: into tonight. And just so now I know rain is good, right,
- 0:13Speaker 1: It's great for farming, great for crops and all that
- 0:15Speaker 1: or whatever. But too much rain I really leads for me.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I just an upswing in some mosquitos where I live
- 0:22Speaker 1: in South Fargo.
- 0:23Speaker 2: No, yeah, there is. There has been an upswing in mosquitoes.
- 0:26Speaker 2: They did Cass County Vector Control did an aerial spring
- 0:30Speaker 2: for mosquitos. Yeah, in West Fargo and Fargo over the weekend.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I appreciate that.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and then last night they started doing like the
- 0:39Speaker 2: more rural cities or whatever. But thank god, because I
- 0:43Speaker 2: seriously it's been like a mosquito hotel in my house.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Is this your first Midwest summer ever in your life? Yes?
- 0:51Speaker 1: H well, I mean the mosquitoes moved in. They're not
- 0:54Speaker 1: paying rent.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I'm a little upset, but there, I mean mosquitoes everywhere.
- 0:59Speaker 2: I went to wash my hands the other day and
- 1:00Speaker 2: there was a mosquito on my hand towel.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Why it's waiting for me. It was waiting for me,
- 1:06Speaker 1: and I don't appreciate it.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Also, like I'm not the one that's home during you know,
- 1:10Speaker 2: most of the day, because I'm here right And I
- 1:13Speaker 2: feel like Mikey has been leaving the door open or something.
- 1:17Speaker 1: If he's just leaving your back porch open, that's hilarious.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I did the back Okay.
- 1:21Speaker 2: We were hanging out on the deck the other day
- 1:23Speaker 2: and he went inside to grab a drink and just
- 1:25Speaker 2: left the door wide open.
- 1:27Speaker 1: There right there is your nine mosquitoes. Your name Room
- 1:29Speaker 1: New How rude, Mikey. You're in trouble, Jessica, how are you?
- 1:34Speaker 1: What are you doing about the mosquitos?
- 1:37Speaker 3: So mosquitos are obviously super annoying, and I hate them
- 1:40Speaker 3: with a passion. Fuck Am I crazy for thinking that
- 1:44Speaker 3: scratching your bikes kind of feels good, Like it's oddly
- 1:48Speaker 3: satisfying when you successfully stretched that itch.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I just love the relief it gives.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Okay, she's not wrong, because I was up by those
- 1:56Speaker 2: nine mosquitos in my house and I've been scratching like crazy,
- 1:59Speaker 2: but it feels good.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Well you shouldn't, do you know that? No, you
- 2:03Speaker 1: should not scratch mosquito bites. Really, Yeah, no, itch? What
- 2:09Speaker 1: am I supposed to do? You could use like a
- 2:11Speaker 1: warm cloth or something. Why don't Why can't you? Why
- 2:14Speaker 1: aren't you supposed to scratch that? Yeah? Scratching mosquito bites
- 2:17Speaker 1: can lead to an increased inflammation, itching, and potential infection.
- 2:22Speaker 1: So it might feel great for you know, it's eight seconds, yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 1: scratch gratification, but it could make it worse in the
- 2:30Speaker 1: long run. When a mosquito bite, it injects saliva into
- 2:35Speaker 1: the skin, which triggers an immune response and causes the
- 2:38Speaker 1: area to become itchy. Scratching can worsen this inflammation, creating
- 2:42Speaker 1: a cycle of more itching and potentially breaking the skin,
- 2:46Speaker 1: which can allow bacteria to enter and cause infection. What
- 2:50Speaker 1: do you do for mosquito bites? Seven oh one two
- 2:53Speaker 1: eight zero one to nine eight seven? I always kind
- 2:56Speaker 1: of do the X method. Have you ever heard of that? No?
- 2:58Speaker 1: Take up. I clearly have just been scratching like a
- 3:00Speaker 1: mad woman. It's just getting worse and worse. Yeah, you
- 3:04Speaker 1: take a nail and you just like make an X
- 3:06Speaker 1: in the bite. It's not really gonna make it go
- 3:08Speaker 1: way faster, but it does, like instead of eight seconds
- 3:12Speaker 1: of relief. It might give you a minute. Okay, well
- 3:15Speaker 1: I'll take whatever. At this point you should.
- 3:17Speaker 2: My knees right now gave like their red and swollen.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I need to get my life in order.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Try a warm cloth or something. Seven oh one two
- 3:23Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven. What do you do
- 3:26Speaker 1: for itchy mosquito bites? Today's variety big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Who's this?
- 3:34Speaker 3: This is Mary.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I'm calling with the full proof to steum bite. Get
- 3:38Speaker 1: to the store.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Buy the better drill anti itch cream or gel.
- 3:42Speaker 3: The gel's the best.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Then a drill gel.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Yeah, it's for.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Mostivo bites and such things. And yeah, it'll take the
- 3:48Speaker 2: inch away, it'll make the mosquito byte goa really quickly.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It sounds like you need some today and just making
- 3:56Speaker 1: a nine to three trip to Walmart it sounds like right,
- 4:00Speaker 1: just do drive up the target or whatever. Which rain
- 4:07Speaker 1: makes corn and corn makes whiskey. Right, But with that
- 4:10Speaker 1: rain we also get some mosquitos. And I don't know
- 4:13Speaker 1: if you've been in the FM areas of late, but
- 4:15Speaker 1: the mosquitos be mosquite al right, but they really are.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And I have already been bit up all over the place,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and so I'm over here. This is my first Midwest
- 4:25Speaker 2: summer game, right, and so I'm over.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Here itching away.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Mary called us earlier, let me know that the bend
- 4:31Speaker 2: a drill gel will help with the itching. Kyla texted
- 4:35Speaker 2: us and said, talking Skeeter Bites, they say pimple patches.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Work to make the itch go away.
- 4:41Speaker 2: And let me tell you, as someone with adult acne,
- 4:44Speaker 2: I have pimple patches of plenty, so I will definitely
- 4:48Speaker 2: be trying that when I get home.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Also, I've never heard of that before, and I'm I'm
- 4:52Speaker 1: a Minnesota kid. I've never heard of using pimple patch.
- 5:01Speaker 1: We like celebrating the small things here on big big station.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Small celebrations. Yeah, there we go. I like that.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And if you have a little victory you'd like to
- 5:09Speaker 2: share with us, hit us up seven oh one two
- 5:11Speaker 2: eight oh one, nine eight seven.
- 5:13Speaker 1: We'd love to hear from you my little victory.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Gabe has been a long time coming, and finally it happened.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Mikey and I started watching Hacks on HBO Max.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I've been dying to watch this show. Do you know
- 5:27Speaker 1: what hacks is? Is that where they show you all
- 5:30Speaker 1: of the different things you could do with a paper clip,
- 5:32Speaker 1: or oh that's TikTok no but Hacks. Sorry.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It stars Jean Smart and I forget the other girl's
- 5:39Speaker 2: name in it, to be honest, But it's a comedy
- 5:41Speaker 2: on HBO Max and it has won like all the
- 5:44Speaker 2: awards awards season. It's always Hacks that wins for comedy,
- 5:49Speaker 2: and I don't know what.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I had not watched the.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Show, and it was like, gosh, dang it, I can't
- 5:54Speaker 2: even tell if they should have won. So we finally
- 5:57Speaker 2: started watching it yesterday. We're on episode four and they're
- 6:01Speaker 2: like shorter episodes.
- 6:02Speaker 1: It's not like an hour long drama. It's a comedy.
- 6:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Yeah, and so I'm very excited to like push through it.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I think there's like four seasons or something, so I'm
- 6:12Speaker 2: excited to get caught up and then know what's happening
- 6:15Speaker 2: during award season time.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Yeah, there's so many shows that it is somewhat rewarding
- 6:21Speaker 1: when you find one that you genuinely are excited to watch. Yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 1: there's so many where you start, and I feel like
- 6:27Speaker 1: with a lot of shows these days, I'll start watching
- 6:29Speaker 1: them and I can't decide if I'm watching them because
- 6:31Speaker 1: I think I should and everyone loves it or if
- 6:33Speaker 1: I genuinely like it. Right so far, I do genuinely
- 6:37Speaker 1: like it. And it's also exciting because you know, the
- 6:40Speaker 1: phones are always listening, so.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Now I'll get all these memes that have to do
- 6:44Speaker 2: with hacks and I'll understand them.
- 6:46Speaker 1: That's awesome. I love that. My little victory is I
- 6:49Speaker 1: have a couple of my friends who I have known
- 6:52Speaker 1: both since I was you know, single digits in age.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Oh wow, and barring like a little two three hour
- 6:59Speaker 1: tra to go visit someone in school, both of these
- 7:02Speaker 1: friends I have not done a big, kind of giant
- 7:05Speaker 1: long road trip with, and both of them want to
- 7:09Speaker 1: go with me for a ride to this bachelor party
- 7:12Speaker 1: I have to go to coming up this weekend. Both
- 7:14Speaker 1: of them, we'd all talked about flying because it's not close.
- 7:18Speaker 1: It's like multiple states away, and one of them isn't
- 7:20Speaker 1: super into flying, doesn't love it. And I was like,
- 7:22Speaker 1: oh yeah, man, I'll just drive to I'll just drive
- 7:24Speaker 1: and pick you up and we'll keep it rolling, you know.
- 7:26Speaker 1: And then another buddy, and I know this is getting
- 7:29Speaker 1: to be a little long here, but my other buddy
- 7:31Speaker 1: called and was like, Hey, I'm not gonna fly anymore.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Can I just ride down with you. The more the merrier, bro.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So it's just we're just gonna brow out, have Van
- 7:39Speaker 1: Halen crank to eleven for seventeen hours.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I was going to ask you who controls the ox
- 7:45Speaker 2: cord in this situation.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe I'll make a playlist, Oh cute.
- 7:50Speaker 1: I probably won't do all that, but you get the point.
- 7:51Speaker 1: So I'm excited for that. I'm really looking forward to
- 7:54Speaker 1: that this weekend. It should be a good time.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Over a century A century's one hundred years, right, yeah, Okay.
- 8:05Speaker 2: For over a century we have believed this myth that
- 8:11Speaker 2: now has been proven to be a crock of.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Corniness. Malarkey, malarkey.
- 8:17Speaker 2: There we go, and it is that you should not
- 8:21Speaker 2: swim right after a meal.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Apparently that is a lie.
- 8:27Speaker 2: So what happened is, back in nineteen oh eight, the
- 8:30Speaker 2: original Boy Scout manual said, never bathe in deep water
- 8:34Speaker 2: very soon after a meal. It is very likely to
- 8:37Speaker 2: cause cramp, which doubles you up and so you get drowned.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Did you grow up hearing this? I did grow up
- 8:44Speaker 1: hearing this, but when I was like six, I found
- 8:46Speaker 1: out this wasn't true because I'd be eating and jumping
- 8:48Speaker 1: in the pool, like immediately when we would go up
- 8:51Speaker 1: to the crystal pool. All the time I'd be housing
- 8:54Speaker 1: the little one dollar twenty five cent pizzas you know,
- 8:56Speaker 1: from the concession stand, and I'd be doing flips off
- 8:59Speaker 1: the diving boards. No problem. Oh so you disproved this
- 9:02Speaker 1: on out.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I am guilty of also telling my children
- 9:08Speaker 2: don't go in.
- 9:09Speaker 1: The water right after half an hour.
- 9:12Speaker 2: But there was a physician who recently came out and said, listen,
- 9:16Speaker 2: I was a competitive swimmer in high school and that
- 9:19Speaker 2: he could physically tell the difference if he had two
- 9:21Speaker 2: pieces of toast and then went swimming for an hour
- 9:24Speaker 2: at six am versus if he didn't, And it would
- 9:27Speaker 2: that be that if he didn't eat before he swam,
- 9:30Speaker 2: he'd have no energy.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Right. Yeah, so no, it's not a thing.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Committee also concluded
- 9:38Speaker 2: that eating before swimming is not a contributing risk for
- 9:42Speaker 2: drowning and can be dismissed as a myth. This has
- 9:45Speaker 2: been going viral around social media and I saw it
- 9:49Speaker 2: and I thought, gosh, I need to tell my kids.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I've been lying to them, but why, I love hold Sorry,
- 9:54Speaker 1: I love how he put that. By the way, you
- 9:56Speaker 1: can sidebar. You can start using this. I was a
- 9:59Speaker 1: competitive swimmer in high school. Bro, just say you were
- 10:02Speaker 1: on the swim team. Okay, you don't know if he
- 10:05Speaker 1: went to state. Ye. Well, it's a fair point. I'm
- 10:08Speaker 1: gonna start using that though. That is fantastic anyway. Sorry,
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm a competitive eater. That's the same. So what are
- 10:15Speaker 1: some myths?
- 10:16Speaker 2: We posed this question on the big ninety of points
- 10:18Speaker 2: I have on Facebook page. What are some myths you
- 10:20Speaker 2: grew up believing, Like I thought that it was illegal
- 10:26Speaker 2: to turn on the light in the car while you're driving.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, for sure. My parents use that all the time.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's actually that's a myth I perpetuate with
- 10:33Speaker 2: my kids. And I'm not trying to disprove that anytime soon.
- 10:36Speaker 2: But you guys had some interesting ones. Nicole said that
- 10:39Speaker 2: seven years gum, that it takes gum seven years to
- 10:43Speaker 2: pass through your digestive system. I think people were just
- 10:46Speaker 2: parents were like, don't swallow the.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Gum, yeah, because they think about it like peanut butter
- 10:50Speaker 1: is way more sticky than gum.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Doesn't peanut butter actually take gum out of your hair
- 10:56Speaker 2: or something, no idea. Yeah, and Judy said that dragonflies
- 10:59Speaker 2: with so my mouth shut if I swore I had
- 11:03Speaker 2: never heard that one.
- 11:04Speaker 1: That's hilarious. This is great. Okay, well I'm gonna start
- 11:07Speaker 1: using that with my kids. But then f and Maria
- 11:10Speaker 1: are y'all? Okay?
- 11:12Speaker 2: These took a turn. Jason said that the world was good.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Sandra said that everyone is genuine. Shane said true love.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Those are all myths these people believed, and it makes
- 11:23Speaker 2: me sad that they think that those are myths.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I think true love exists. No, well, I'm glad there
- 11:29Speaker 1: were people who felt comfortable to express themselves with us
- 11:31Speaker 1: here at Big ninety eight point. Yeah, me too. Yeah,
- 11:33Speaker 1: this is a nice safe space where everyone's welcome.
- 11:36Speaker 2: What myth did you grow up believing? Seven oh one, two,
- 11:39Speaker 2: eight oh one, nine eighty seven. Please don't say the
- 11:41Speaker 2: goodness of humanity? I can't take it.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Ray Romano is quite the rapper, is what we've learned.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, he was at a golf tournament, some celebrity golf tournament,
- 11:53Speaker 2: and he blew away the fans with his rendition of
- 11:58Speaker 2: Eminem's Lose Yourself.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah you missed it. Take a listen to this not horrible,
- 12:13Speaker 1: and you know, I mean it was a long day
- 12:14Speaker 1: of golf.
- 12:15Speaker 2: You don't know how any that's true spiked Arnold Palmers.
- 12:18Speaker 1: He may have.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Had, but I don't think that's the first time he's
- 12:22Speaker 2: ever done that song.
- 12:23Speaker 1: No, it's been my It's probably in his top three
- 12:26Speaker 1: of go tos. Yeah. I feel like everyone has sort
- 12:28Speaker 1: of a go to karaoke song or a song that
- 12:31Speaker 1: if they've never sang karaoke that they would be at
- 12:34Speaker 1: least comfortable kind of getting through. Oh yeah, what's yours
- 12:38Speaker 1: my go to karaoke song? Well, I have it for
- 12:41Speaker 1: you right here and this everybody knows all the words
- 12:46Speaker 1: to this song back be the a Little wonder Wall
- 12:53Speaker 1: I like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And there's a reason I
- 12:57Speaker 1: love doing that song for karaoke, mostly because you don't
- 13:00Speaker 1: have to have the ability to really sing. You can
- 13:03Speaker 1: sort of just like kind of you can talk through it,
- 13:06Speaker 1: cow talk your way there.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Yeah, those are the best songs for me.
- 13:11Speaker 2: My go to karaoke song, which I did not that
- 13:14Speaker 2: long ago, as Salune ninety five is total Eclipse of
- 13:17Speaker 2: the Heart all the like you can just kind of
- 13:25Speaker 2: perform it because I can't sing.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I was gonna say, I could see you just like
- 13:30Speaker 1: getting through this with a lot of like fireworks going
- 13:33Speaker 1: off in.
- 13:33Speaker 2: The best Definitely like an interpretive dance situation. And you
- 13:38Speaker 2: as long as you're like singing talking with a lot
- 13:41Speaker 2: of feeling, then people are into it.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you on that. Yeah, what is your
- 13:47Speaker 1: go to karaoke song? Here? We want to know this
- 13:50Speaker 1: morning on Big ninety eight point seven seven oh one
- 13:53Speaker 1: two eight zero one nine eight seven. We won't make
- 13:57Speaker 1: you sing it, but if you want to, but if
- 13:59Speaker 1: you wanted to give us a little taste, we would
- 14:02Speaker 1: take it. Today's am I the problem?
- 14:10Speaker 2: We are going to keep our listener anonymous per her request,
- 14:14Speaker 2: so we are going to call her Sarah. I love
- 14:18Speaker 2: you guys. Can you halp me out and let me
- 14:20Speaker 2: know if I'm the problem? Hope you have a great
- 14:22Speaker 2: rest of the week.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Well, thank you.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I have a male best friend who has feelings for me.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Let's call him E. He told me he's in love
- 14:31Speaker 2: with me a few months ago. I love and care
- 14:34Speaker 2: about him, but not in the same way. I've been
- 14:37Speaker 2: completely open and honest about how I feel and where
- 14:40Speaker 2: he stands with me. Despite that, he's chosen to continue
- 14:43Speaker 2: spending a lot of time with me and seeing me regularly.
- 14:46Speaker 2: He even refers to me as his best friend to others.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I've recently met someone else and we're seeing where things go,
- 14:53Speaker 2: going on dates, flirting, etc. We haven't slept together and
- 14:56Speaker 2: we're taking things really slow. My female friend at the
- 15:01Speaker 2: time took it upon.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Herself that little caveat. I'm worried about the rest of this.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Semial took it upon herself to tell E that I'm
- 15:09Speaker 2: seeing someone and told me she has no respect for
- 15:12Speaker 2: how I manage my relationships.
- 15:14Speaker 1: She said he deserved to.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Know as I'm wrong for not telling E about the
- 15:18Speaker 2: guy I'm seeing since he's in love with me. Am
- 15:21Speaker 2: I a problem for not telling E first or at all?
- 15:25Speaker 2: They both feel that I am. But I feel like
- 15:27Speaker 2: I'm not okay, Sarah. I am a girl's girl. But girl,
- 15:36Speaker 2: you know what you're doing. You are the problem. Really,
- 15:39Speaker 2: you are the problem. Because she knows what she was
- 15:42Speaker 2: doing with E. I know that she was like, I've
- 15:44Speaker 2: been clear, very clear about my feelings, but he still
- 15:47Speaker 2: wants to spend time with me.
- 15:48Speaker 1: He still wants to whatever, so you know he's still
- 15:51Speaker 1: in love with you.
- 15:51Speaker 2: You're still hanging out with him because it does give
- 15:53Speaker 2: you some sort of a like dopamine rush or whatever.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Right, and some type of attention I have of attention.
- 16:01Speaker 2: She's clearly down for it, but she doesn't want to
- 16:03Speaker 2: commit to him. And if she really didn't care at
- 16:07Speaker 2: all about him in any kind of romantic y way,
- 16:11Speaker 2: she would just be open that she's talking to somebody
- 16:13Speaker 2: new the fact that she didn't tell him, like she
- 16:16Speaker 2: knows the game she's playing. And you know how I
- 16:18Speaker 2: know she knows because I've played that game too. We
- 16:22Speaker 2: maybe not all of us, but a lot of us
- 16:24Speaker 2: ladies have been there. There's a guy you're not necessarily
- 16:26Speaker 2: interested in, but you do like spending time with him.
- 16:29Speaker 2: You do like when he takes you out to dinner.
- 16:31Speaker 2: You do like when he pays for bowling.
- 16:33Speaker 1: You do like it popping on a Wednesday exactly. You
- 16:37Speaker 1: know what you're doing, You know what you're doing. And
- 16:39Speaker 1: then you.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Didn't tell him on purpose because you're worried that if
- 16:43Speaker 2: he knows you're seeing someone else, he's not gonna want
- 16:46Speaker 2: to be hanging out with you, and you want to
- 16:47Speaker 2: keep him as a back burner, fall back guy who's
- 16:51Speaker 2: going to take you to Applebee's shout out to Jonathan
- 16:53Speaker 2: Navarro When I was nineteen years old, you were the best.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I did not do you right, So I'm sorry. You're
- 16:58Speaker 1: not to change his name him from free Dinner in
- 17:01Speaker 1: your phone to Eric or whatever his real name is.
- 17:04Speaker 1: It makes it puts a little too much humanitarian on it. Yeah,
- 17:07Speaker 1: you're you're the problem, girl. I'll be honest to me.
- 17:11Speaker 1: It sounds like he is in love with Sarah clearly,
- 17:14Speaker 1: and Sarah's friend is in love with E. That's where
- 17:17Speaker 1: I kind of took it. Sarah's friend jumping on in here.
- 17:21Speaker 1: What business is it of yours? What do you care?
- 17:24Speaker 1: What what E has going on with Sarah? I think
- 17:27Speaker 1: Sarah's friend loves E, and so we just have a
- 17:30Speaker 1: triangle of not the right people loving each other. And
- 17:34Speaker 1: then Sarah needs two new friends, so you might as
- 17:36Speaker 1: well hang out with us. Oh yes, Sarah, Angie.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Sarah wanted to know if she's the problem. She has
- 17:50Speaker 2: a buddy named E.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Das you right in the harm.
- 17:58Speaker 2: She's got a guy in her life who she friend zoned.
- 18:00Speaker 2: We call him Eh. She started dating a new guy,
- 18:05Speaker 2: didn't tell her friend started dating Chad or Brad any
- 18:11Speaker 2: one of those ad names. Vlaed, No, I like that
- 18:16Speaker 2: she started dating someone new, didn't tell the friend zoned guy,
- 18:19Speaker 2: and then her friend was upset and told like, by
- 18:24Speaker 2: the way, she's dating someone new and it's not you.
- 18:27Speaker 2: So Sarah wants to know she's the problem for keeping
- 18:30Speaker 2: her new relationship a secret from her friend zone buddy.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Kind of an interesting like love triangle, it seems.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know why the friend is so concerned,
- 18:40Speaker 2: and neither neither does Courtney. Courtney texted us, I don't
- 18:44Speaker 2: see how it's anyone's business who this chick is hooking
- 18:47Speaker 2: up with or just using for dinner in this economy,
- 18:50Speaker 2: do you, baby girl?
- 18:53Speaker 1: Dang you know what? That's actually so disrespectful that I respected.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Who is that? Court Courtney? I like you? Wow. Well
- 19:02Speaker 1: we have Kim from Morehead. Kim had the complete opposite take.
- 19:06Speaker 1: She was kind of along the lines of what you
- 19:08Speaker 1: were thinking, Angie. Kim said, I think Angie nailed it
- 19:11Speaker 1: with Sarah's am I the problem as someone in my
- 19:14Speaker 1: younger days who also had someone labeled a free dinner
- 19:17Speaker 1: in my phone. Sarah knows exactly what she's doing. She
- 19:21Speaker 1: likes keeping e around for attention and entertainment while she
- 19:25Speaker 1: keeps her options open. If Sarah really cared about he
- 19:28Speaker 1: as a person, she would have no problem telling Himbout
- 19:31Speaker 1: telling him about this person she's seeing. Honestly, I give
- 19:35Speaker 1: credit to Sarah's ex friend for telling e. So two
- 19:38Speaker 1: very opposite sides of the spectrum here. What if this
- 19:41Speaker 1: is the ex friend? What if she clocked it? I mean,
- 19:49Speaker 1: this is one hundred percent proof your phone is always listening.
- 19:53Speaker 1: If you ever doubted it, we have got concrete evidence
- 19:56Speaker 1: right now. While we were listening to Billie Eilish, there
- 19:59Speaker 1: was Angie off the air about how this weekend I'm
- 20:02Speaker 1: going on a bachelor's trip, you know, some of my
- 20:05Speaker 1: best friends in the world, And not ten seconds later,
- 20:09Speaker 1: Angie opens up social media and what does your phone
- 20:12Speaker 1: have for you? You could win a bestie's vacate. Oh weird,
- 20:19Speaker 1: weird how it works.
- 20:21Speaker 2: But then you have to like tag your best friend
- 20:23Speaker 2: and why they're your best friend, and then that's you know,
- 20:27Speaker 2: your shot to win or whatever.
- 20:28Speaker 1: So what is it that makes a best friend? Like
- 20:31Speaker 1: if I'm.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Tagging my friend and giving the reason, what's the reason
- 20:35Speaker 2: that's gonna make me win?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Like, what do you define as a best friend. Yeah,
- 20:39Speaker 1: and how do you define a best friend without being
- 20:42Speaker 1: super rude to maybe some of your other really good friends.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Oh that's right, you know what I'm saying, Like, Oh,
- 20:48Speaker 1: we're really good friends, but this is my best one.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I feel like you got right.
- 20:53Speaker 2: There was an Even Stevens episode. You ever watch Even
- 20:55Speaker 2: Stevens growing up?
- 20:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay.
- 20:57Speaker 2: There was an episode where Wren had a best friend
- 21:01Speaker 2: in school, but then her best friend from her old
- 21:04Speaker 2: school came to the news school and she was like, hell,
- 21:07Speaker 2: am I gonna choose which ones my true best friend?
- 21:10Speaker 2: And then her mom said to her, didn't anyone tell you, honey,
- 21:14Speaker 2: you can have more than one best friend?
- 21:16Speaker 1: That's right? I think I have like nineteen best friends. Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I'm kind of with you there. I always tell people too,
- 21:22Speaker 1: It's like, I don't love you more or less. I
- 21:25Speaker 1: just love you longer. You know what I'm saying. I
- 21:27Speaker 1: just known you longer. I like that I love anyone
- 21:30Speaker 1: more or less. I've just loved them longer.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I think the thing that makes me I would consider
- 21:35Speaker 2: you a best friend.
- 21:36Speaker 1: That's beautiful. And then you will I really gonna keep it.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I was really gonna there for a second, would you, Angie?
- 21:44Speaker 1: You one of my best friends? For sure? I love
- 21:46Speaker 1: that had almost as much time with you as I
- 21:49Speaker 1: do my own wife. That's true.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I think with the best friend, how I would define it?
- 21:54Speaker 1: For me?
- 21:55Speaker 2: It's like if it's someone I can be completely unapologetically
- 21:59Speaker 2: myself with, yeah, and not feel any judgment. You don't
- 22:02Speaker 2: have to agree with everything I say and do, but
- 22:05Speaker 2: like you're not judging me for I at least judge
- 22:08Speaker 2: me behind my back. Yeah, right, Just don't let me
- 22:10Speaker 2: know where I feel like comfortable with you?
- 22:12Speaker 1: And boy? Am I comfortable with you?
- 22:14Speaker 3: Kid?
- 22:14Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eighty seven?
- 22:17Speaker 1: How would you define a best friend? And I'm just
- 22:21Speaker 1: I'm wondering if there's even a way to do it
- 22:23Speaker 1: without hurting other friends feelings? Gwen, what about you?
- 22:26Speaker 4: I think a best friend is someone that you have
- 22:29Speaker 4: history with and someone that you can act you're complete
- 22:32Speaker 4: honest self with glad Yeah, someone you never get nervous around,
- 22:36Speaker 4: and someone who doesn't care if you mess up or
- 22:38Speaker 4: act weird. Someone who shared your humor and always has
- 22:42Speaker 4: your back.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Oh, Dick, she had a laundry listen.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I like that.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree wholehearted. That sounded very familiar to what
- 22:48Speaker 1: you said Andy. All right, James, what about you?
- 22:50Speaker 3: I think a best friend is someone who's there for
- 22:53Speaker 3: you no matter what.
- 22:54Speaker 4: They're supportive and they'll drop whatever they're doing to help
- 22:57Speaker 4: you out.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Oh that's beautiful. I have my girl, Tessa de Bessa.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Tessa is her name. We just call Herdbessa because she's
- 23:05Speaker 2: the best.
- 23:05Speaker 1: And she at any time I.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Need anything, Not that I'm entirely needy, but anytime I
- 23:10Speaker 2: need anything, it's like, Okay, how can I help?
- 23:12Speaker 1: What do I need to do?
- 23:13Speaker 2: And she doesn't even we don't live in the same
- 23:15Speaker 2: state right now, but I know if I was like, hey,
- 23:17Speaker 2: can you hop on a plane? I'm having a hard time,
- 23:19Speaker 2: she would do She would do it exactly right.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Good news is you can help out an incredible cost

- 24:37Speaker 1: dog will be there. Yeah.
- 24:39Speaker 2: That's what I wanted to know because I got to
- 24:41Speaker 2: meet Winona for the first time last.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Week and like, I need another hit of Winda.
- 24:48Speaker 2: She's so cute, she's so sweet, she's so friendly and playful,
- 24:51Speaker 2: Like I'm obsessed with her. So really, Gabe, it wasn't
- 24:54Speaker 2: if you're Potchella.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I just need to know if Winona is going to
- 24:57Speaker 1: be a Potchella right. The world is full of nice people.
- 25:00Speaker 1: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
