A small plane carrying 13 people—including seven Italians, two Spaniards, and two Germans—crashed during a sightseeing tour over Peru’s Nazca Lines, killing everyone on board. The flight, operated by Aerodiana and departing from Ica, also claimed the lives of its pilot and co-pilot. The Peruvian president has offered condolences and hinted at possible airport suspension as authorities launch an investigation into the cause of the tragedy.
