  Speaker 1: dwell on all the face of the earth, and has

  Speaker 1: determined their prepared times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

  Speaker 1: so that they should seek the Lord in the hope

  Speaker 1: that they might from him a grope for him and

  Speaker 1: begins with observation, not accusation. Right, he doesn't accuse him,

  Speaker 1: He's observing them. Paul didn't attack them. Paul desired to

  Speaker 1: connect with the people that he was ministering to. He

  Speaker 1: recognized their spiritual He recognized that they were spiritual, but

  Speaker 1: they were just misdirected. That they desired to find God,

  Speaker 1: but they were lacking the knowledge on how to get
• 8:22
  Speaker 1: to him. Now, when we are attempting to reach people
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: around us, start with understanding, not with condemnation. That right
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: there will build a better bridge to reach the people.

  Speaker 1: Now verse twenty three. For as I was passing through,
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: I even found an altar with this inscription to the
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: unknown God.

  Speaker 3: The altar was built.
• 8:53
  Speaker 1: In case they missed a God. They didn't want to
• 8:57
  Speaker 1: offend anybody, so just in case they missed, just in
• 9:02
  Speaker 1: case there might be a God out there that felt neglected,

  Speaker 1: They wanted to acknowledge that God. Now this is pretty deep.

  Speaker 1: They had everything except the truth. Now, Paul says the
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: God you don't know. I'm about to reveal him. Now,
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: this is powerful. That is the same mission that we
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: have today, introduce people to the real God, not just religion.

  Speaker 1: We're not here to introduce people to our philosophy or
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: to our religion, or even just to our church. People
• 9:48
  Speaker 1: need God. People really need to find God and find
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: out his character and who he is. And it's our
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: job to reveal him and enter do him. Hallelujah.

  Speaker 1: God, who made the world and everything in it, does

  Speaker 1: not dwell in temples made with hands. Now, Paul immediately

  Speaker 1: established God as creator. Right, this is great insight. God

  Speaker 1: is not confined to buildings. He reveals that to them,

  Speaker 1: You mean, God says himself, when he's when they're interacting with,

  Speaker 1: He's interacting with Solomon, the third king of Israel, who

  Speaker 1: built the temple. Solomon acknowledged that we cannot build a

  Speaker 1: building big enough for you to dwell in. Right. God

  Speaker 1: is not limited by systems. He is not controlled by religion.

  Speaker 1: God is creator of everything. Hallelujah. Now, this very truth

  Speaker 1: challenges idolatry right at the root of it. Verse twenty five.

  Speaker 1: Nor is he worshiped with Man's hands as though he

  Speaker 1: needed anything. God is self sufficient. God doesn't need us,

  Speaker 1: He doesn't need any one of us. As a matter
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: of fact, we are the ones who need God. God
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: is completely self sufficient. I've heard some people say that
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: God created man because he needed love. No, he didn't
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: need love. There was perfect unity and perfect love within
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: the Godhead trinity between the Father, the Son, and the
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. You see, Worship is not about performing or
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: impressing or earning anything. Worship is about. Worship is about relationship.

  Speaker 1: That is what I'm trying to say. I said worship twice,

  Speaker 1: but worship is about relationship and dependence on God, hallelujah.

  Speaker 1: Recognize and that is something we need to add to

  Speaker 1: our prayer liss for people around us, that they will

  Speaker 1: recognize their need for God, that they need to depend

  Speaker 1: on God and they need to build a relationship with God.

  Speaker 1: Hey man, this is something we need to pray for

  Speaker 1: our unsaved friends, co workers, family members, people in our community,

  Speaker 1: that they will be awakened to their need for God.

  Speaker 3: Hallelujah.

  Speaker 1: And even for ourselves. We need to stay awake and

  Speaker 1: not fall asleep to our very need for God. On
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: a daily basis verse twenty six. And he had made
• 13:24
  Speaker 1: from one blood every nation of men. Paul is breaking
• 13:30
  Speaker 1: down racial and cultural barriers right here. There's no room
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: for racism if we all embrace this truth, from one blood,
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: every nation of men. Now this is a Jew speaking
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: to gentiles. There's no more Jew or Gentile, no more
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: Greek or Barbarian. We are all one family. We are
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: all one nation, another one blood, one humanity. God created

  Speaker 1: all people. There is no division in God's design at all. Hallelujah,

  Speaker 1: verse twenty seven. So that they should seek the Lord. Oh,

  Speaker 1: he is not far from each one of us. God

  Speaker 1: designed humanity to seek after him. God is not hiding.

  Speaker 1: God is near. But the question is are we seeking him?

  Speaker 1: There's a promise, beloved that says if we seek, we

  Speaker 1: shall find. What kind of seekers are we? Are we
• 14:57
  Speaker 1: nonchalant seekers? Are we notionalot? Because we think we don't

  Speaker 1: need God. We think that we are self sufficient on
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: our own. Look at how your life has turned out
• 15:09
  Speaker 1: being self sufficient. Look at how many walls we ran into,
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: Look at how many things have broken down, relationships and
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: misopportunities because we think we can be the ship of
• 15:24
  Speaker 1: our own Captain. Now we need to seek him because
• 15:29
  Speaker 1: we are desperate for him. A lot of people just
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: don't realize it. Twenty eight Now, this scripture right here
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: really hits me, and I'll let you know why in
• 15:42
  Speaker 1: a second. For in Him, we live and we move,
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: and we have our being. Paul even quotes Greek poets
• 15:53
  Speaker 1: to connect with his audience. Everything we are comes from God.

  Speaker 1: Life is not a random pattern of systems. It's not evolution.

  Speaker 1: It's sustained by Him. We live and we move, and
• 16:15
  Speaker 1: we have our being in I like to watch testimonies,
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: and I'd like to hear about near death experiences. You
• 16:26
  Speaker 1: know how it is on the other side. You know
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: what people experience, and and they can describe how horrible
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: and how horrific Hell is. Those who've died been to
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: Hell and God is allowed to come back, and a
• 16:45
  Speaker 1: lot of them have radically changed their lives after going
• 16:51
  Speaker 1: to this horrible place.
• 16:55
  Speaker 4: It looks like you lost another one.
• 16:57
  Speaker 1: But the reason why this scripture really hits me is
• 16:59
  Speaker 1: because there is one testimony the name I can't remember
• 17:05
  Speaker 1: the name, but he said twenty three minutes in hell.
• 17:09
  Speaker 1: If you look up that video, you will hear his testimony,
• 17:12
  Speaker 1: and he describes it what he sees, what he experienced,
• 17:16
  Speaker 1: what he felt. And he said in one point that
• 17:22
  Speaker 1: he had a hard time moving, that he felt so
• 17:26
  Speaker 1: weak that just this simple thing like trying to you know,
• 17:32
  Speaker 1: he fell to the ground and he tried to lift
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: himself up. It took all the strength he had just
• 17:39
  Speaker 1: to try to lift himself up, and he caught it.
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: This scripture, because in hell you lose all of God's attributes,
• 17:46
  Speaker 1: his goodness, his sustainability. We live and we move in him.
• 17:53
  Speaker 1: He said, it's hard to move because we are no
• 17:56
  Speaker 1: longer in God. Hell is literally a godless place. God
• 18:03
  Speaker 1: withholds all of his goodness from the people in that place.

  Speaker 1: And so, man, that is a horrific place that I

  Speaker 1: pray myself. And no one listening to this podcast or

  Speaker 1: anyone would go to that place. They said, it's so bad.

  Speaker 1: You wouldn't wish your worst enemy in that place.

  Speaker 1: So that's why this scripture stands out to me. Verse

  Speaker 1: twenty nine. We ought not to think that the divine

  Speaker 1: nature is like gold or silver or stone. Now idolatry

  Speaker 1: reduces God to something created, which he's not. He is
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: the creator, and even the Book of Rome says that
• 18:54
  Speaker 1: we worship the creature more than creation. Everything we put

  Speaker 1: in God's place becomes an idol, every single thing, let
• 19:07
  Speaker 1: me repeat it, that we put in God's place becomes
• 19:12
  Speaker 1: an idol. It could be money, it could be fame,

  Speaker 1: it could be status, It could even be ministry. God

  Speaker 1: cannot be reduced. God is creator verse thirty Truly, those

  Speaker 1: times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men

  Speaker 1: everywhere to repent. This is a shift. Now truth is revealed,

  Speaker 1: he has ordained. This points directly to Jesus Christ as judge.

  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ is the judge of the universe. This is reality,

  Speaker 1: Be wise to live a life in preparation of that.

  Speaker 1: In light of that, that should affect our everyday decisions,

  Speaker 1: knowing that we're going to be judged one day, that

  Speaker 1: all of our actions are words. Everything that we do

  Speaker 1: is being recorded and written down in heaven. One day

  Speaker 1: we have to answer for it before God. That's why

  Speaker 1: my prayers I ask him to blot it out of

  Speaker 1: my book. I have a book in heaven and I'm

  Speaker 1: always asking God to blot out my mistakes, my blunders,

  Speaker 1: and my failures, my sins.

  Speaker 3: We still struggle, right, but.

  Speaker 1: God is here to help and through his power and

  Speaker 1: through repentance, we can change.

  Speaker 3: And live the standard, which is Jesus Christ himself. Amen.
