- 0:00Have faith, live again. When it starts right now.
- 0:07Welcome to Have Faith. Let it begin. Here's your host, Angel Santana.
- 0:13Ariel, can you say, have faith? Let it begin. Let it begin? Let it begin. Say, have faith.
- 0:22Let it begin. Let it begin. No. No? No? Okay. Hi, Noah. Noah!
- 0:30Happy birthday, Noah! Okay, then. I'm going to be. She just took those better.
- 0:39Noah. This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine.
- 0:44This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine.
- 0:48This little light of rain, I'm going to let it shine. Let it shine.
- 0:54Let it shine. Let it shine. Yeah.
- 1:00Daddy, I'm so excited, but I have one question. What's your question?
- 1:05Are you going to be a pastor or a minister?
- 1:07Good question. I don't know, but it is all in God's hands. Good morning.
- 1:12You're listening to Half-Faith Let It Begin, and it starts right now.
- 1:17Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the Monday edition of Half-Faith Let It Begin.
- 1:22My name is Angel, and today is November 4th, 2024.
- 1:26We're 24 hours away from election day and everybody here at Have Faith,
- 1:32Let It Begin wishes you nothing but joy, peace and happiness as you vote for
- 1:37whoever candidate you believe in.
- 1:39We do not take sides here at Have Faith, Let It Begin.
- 1:42We want you to be, you know, faithful and great to go out and vote for whoever
- 1:47you want. That's the best part about
- 1:49this nation is that we have our own opinions and we have our choices.
- 1:53So whoever you vote for, congratulations.
- 1:55Win or lose, we will support whoever takes office.
- 2:00This weekend was really tough. I mean, you got kids in my family that are sick.
- 2:06Ariel and Noah have been sick.
- 2:07It's been tough trying to balance work and then, of course, getting back home
- 2:12and trying to figure out what methods will work to keep your child from having a fever.
- 2:17The fever turns into a cough. And it just feels as if you wish you had your
- 2:22PhD or some type of better insights as to you know, having a magic wand,
- 2:28so to speak, and just saying, okay, you're no longer sick.
- 2:31You know, the power of prayer is so important at that situation when your kids are sick.
- 2:35And even anybody at our age, I find that when Noah was, you know,
- 2:41discouraged and just antsy and just fidgety and he couldn't nap.
- 2:44And, you know, I sit there with him and I say, you know, scoot over.
- 2:48And he loves that because he knows that means I'm going to lay with him.
- 2:50And he goes, scoot over and he scoots over and he gets next to me.
- 2:55And, you know, as a dad, it is the coolest feeling to know that he puts his
- 2:59trust and faith in me and he feels safe, you know, cuddling with dad.
- 3:04But what's even better is that I have sang songs to both my children.
- 3:09And there's one particular song that I feel puts all of us at ease.
- 3:13And again, forgive me, I'm not the greatest a singer, but I sing,
- 3:17Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is your name.
- 3:25Music.
- 3:29Jesus,
- 3:33Lamb of God, holy is your name. And I'll sing that with him.
- 3:42Sometimes I'll stop and he'll finish the sentence.
- 3:45Sometimes it's okay to sit in silence and you can hear the words and the singing
- 3:51of the lyrics in your mind.
- 3:53And then for him, he loves to hear the words. I don't think he loves my singing,
- 3:58but I think he loves the words.
- 4:00And eventually he took a nice nap yesterday. today?
- 4:03Well, as we prepare ourselves for another Monday,
- 4:09another chapter in our lives, as tomorrow is a very, very big day for all Americans
- 4:14and all over the world, let us come together and pray for safety.
- 4:20Let's pray for new beginnings. Let's pray for hope.
- 4:25Let's pray for forgiveness.
- 4:28And let us pray for strength, guidance, and allow all of us to come together.
- 4:35As we pray the words that God taught us.
- 4:40Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
- 4:43Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 4:50Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
- 4:57Lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from evil.
- 5:01For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
- 5:09So today, I'm asking each and every one of you to do something a little different.
- 5:14In the past, I've said things like, reach out to somebody on your phone.
- 5:18I've said to you, you know, pray for someone, do one random act of kindness.
- 5:24I'm going to ask of you to drive home today in silence.
- 5:31If you listen to this show normally or is currently listening to the show as
- 5:38you're driving home, then you know what?
- 5:40Turn me off. And I want you to drive in silence.
- 5:44And I want you to be within one with our Heavenly Father.
- 5:47Allow yourself the opportunity to be in that moment with Him.
- 5:51And allow him to guide you and to say the words to you and you'll hear them
- 5:57whispered as they say, I love you.
- 6:00Music.
- 6:02I believe in you. I trust you.
- 6:05And I'm never going to leave your side. May God be with you.
- 6:09May he shine his light upon you and grant each and every single one of you peace on earth.
- 6:15And never forget, have faith, let it begin.
- 6:20Enjoy your election day tomorrow. Have a good day, guys. piano plays softly.
- 6:22Music.
- 7:01Thank you.
