- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, guys, Bill Krachenberger, Allen Boston from the West Gate
- 0:02Speaker 1: over here, one on nine, juice here throughout the rest
- 0:05Speaker 1: of the torment on sides. It doesn't sound like a lot,
- 0:08Speaker 1: but hey, one O nine is out of one to
- 0:09Speaker 1: ten one a weight on NBA. I don't know anyone
- 0:12Speaker 1: that could beat NBA sides, though, especially at this time
- 0:14Speaker 1: of the season, it's very tough to beat long term.
- 0:18Speaker 1: So Alan, we had. We had a nice big crowd
- 0:21Speaker 1: first time. We announced that weeks ahead of time, had
- 0:23Speaker 1: guys flying from over the country. We appreciate them. We
- 0:26Speaker 1: have a nice couple guys here now watching. I just
- 0:28Speaker 1: put it up on Twitter yesterday first show, great response,
- 0:33Speaker 1: over thirteen thousand views on Twitter alone, not to mention
- 0:37Speaker 1: the other platforms. Alan, I watched the game over. I
- 0:41Speaker 1: watched the podcast over today for the third time, so
- 0:44Speaker 1: I had Alan at nine and five on his sides
- 0:48Speaker 1: and three and three on leans. Of course, I don't
- 0:51Speaker 1: really like to talk about bad beats, but I think
- 0:54Speaker 1: UCLA was a very bad beat. And I watched back
- 0:57Speaker 1: the show and I actually talked about the money line there,
- 1:00Speaker 1: though I didn't met the money line I had. I
- 1:04Speaker 1: had minus five on the game, terrible, terrible beat free
- 1:09Speaker 1: They gave up three freeze in the last minute, as
- 1:11Speaker 1: you know, dribble them off your knee. I mean, there's
- 1:13Speaker 1: so many things that happened there, but that would have
- 1:15Speaker 1: been nice to go ten and four. However, we'll take
- 1:17Speaker 1: nine and five anytime. The big bets. Saint Louis all in.
- 1:22Speaker 1: There was a couple other all ins TCU. I think
- 1:26Speaker 1: all in. Sianna was at I mean, we had some
- 1:28Speaker 1: really nice bets. Everything went well, so Alan. Unfortunately, I
- 1:33Speaker 1: Alan got a little sick out here though, but he's
- 1:35Speaker 1: still hanging with us, and he'll be with us for
- 1:38Speaker 1: at least one more day. He's leaving town tomorrow, but
- 1:42Speaker 1: I was happy enough that he would stick around to
- 1:43Speaker 1: do this. Alan's feeling all.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Right from out of my deathbed yet.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I think it was food poisoning, but we're not sure,
- 1:52Speaker 3: but we're.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Hanging in there. It was a little bit of a.
- 1:57Speaker 3: The a little bit of a foggy weekend, so I
- 2:00Speaker 3: probably won't have as much to say as I normally
- 2:03Speaker 3: would because I was in bed dying in the weekend.
- 2:07Speaker 1: All right, let's start right out Thursday. We're going through
- 2:10Speaker 1: the sweet sixteen. Here, we're going to the line the games,
- 2:13Speaker 1: not the time starts, so we're gonna start out with
- 2:15Speaker 1: the first game six or fourteen. Houston opened up a
- 2:18Speaker 1: two and a half point favorite, up to three and
- 2:20Speaker 1: a half over Illinois.
- 2:22Speaker 3: Both teams have that easy draws with favorable matchups. A
- 2:26Speaker 3: and M was a horrible matchup for what Houston does,
- 2:29Speaker 3: and Houston rolled in both Illinois and uber talented team
- 2:34Speaker 3: that at times seems to lose their mind. And my
- 2:41Speaker 3: power rating has the game too, and I'm pretty confident
- 2:44Speaker 3: that that's about the right number. What troubles me because
- 2:47Speaker 3: I kind of want to be at Illinois. I think
- 2:48Speaker 3: they're a little more talented, they're a little older is
- 2:52Speaker 3: I like the Houston coach more and I saw Illinois
- 2:58Speaker 3: lose their minds when Michigan pressured them a little bit
- 3:02Speaker 3: and they started taking a lot of bad shots, and
- 3:05Speaker 3: against Houston, that's just a recipe for disaster.
- 3:07Speaker 2: So I'll be passing this one. Although if you.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Put a gun in my head, it would be Illinois.
- 3:14Speaker 1: All right, let's go on.
- 3:16Speaker 2: I do think they have the more talented.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Team and the next line.
- 3:20Speaker 3: And the older team, which matters, and that game's in Houston.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Does that mean anything for you? No, No, plenty of
- 3:27Speaker 3: time to get there, plenty of time to get accolated.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Neither team plays on the court, so there's no familiarity.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm Houston being home, you know. Yeah, it's not a
- 3:36Speaker 1: big not a big edge.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I don't think it mat No, it's not their home court,
- 3:38Speaker 2: so not.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Their home court. But it's in the Toyota.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Time, so they're not comfortable with the shooting lines or
- 3:43Speaker 3: the or the court how it handles, and there'll be
- 3:45Speaker 3: plenty of fans screaming for Illinois.
- 3:48Speaker 1: All right, Nebraska over Iowa. Here in Nebraska one and
- 3:51Speaker 1: a half or two on the screen here.
- 3:55Speaker 3: They played twice during the year. They're they're both in
- 3:57Speaker 3: the in the whatever conference that is. It's called a
- 4:01Speaker 3: Big Ten, but there's about sixty teams, so it's kind
- 4:05Speaker 3: of a strange name that maybe they should update. Well
- 4:07Speaker 3: maybe not, since it's all just doesn't matter anyway, it's
- 4:09Speaker 3: just stall a bunch of bullshit. The first game, Nebraska
- 4:13Speaker 3: went to Iowa and beat them I think fifty two
- 4:15Speaker 3: to fifty one. Again, this is all foggy to me.
- 4:18Speaker 3: And then the last game of the year in a
- 4:19Speaker 3: complete lame duck game for Iowa when Nebraska was faltering
- 4:22Speaker 3: a little bit, a game that I thought Iowa might
- 4:25Speaker 3: not care about. They went to Nebraska blue lead and
- 4:29Speaker 3: then went on and one in overtime. And if you
- 4:33Speaker 3: take the points president those games, Nebraska was approximately two better.
- 4:37Speaker 3: But my line's pick Iowa was just uber impressive. They
- 4:42Speaker 3: had a brutal draw Clemson in Florida. You can't that's
- 4:45Speaker 3: a really really tough draw to get through, and just
- 4:49Speaker 3: they went over Florida was uber impressive. Yes, Florida kind
- 4:52Speaker 3: of lost their minds, but still Iowa had a lot
- 4:54Speaker 3: to do with it.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Their point guard Stirts never makes a mistake. What a
- 4:58Speaker 2: joy to watch. The coach is elite.
- 5:02Speaker 3: You know, maybe he's proving to maybe be the best
- 5:06Speaker 3: in this tournament.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I know Hoydberg is revered.
- 5:10Speaker 3: They were very fortunate and the Vanderbilt game, Vanderbilt had
- 5:13Speaker 3: a lot of looks that they normally would make that
- 5:14Speaker 3: they missed. Yes, during the Enard Nebraska would have been
- 5:19Speaker 3: favored both times, but I think in a one off
- 5:21Speaker 3: setting where coaching matters a ton more, I would prefer
- 5:25Speaker 3: to go with McCallum oba Hoidberg and myleen is to
- 5:29Speaker 3: Iowa plus two and and I actually kind of think
- 5:32Speaker 3: the line is gonna go up, so the bet would
- 5:34Speaker 3: get bigger if the line went up.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Pinnacle just went to two. They went from one and
- 5:37Speaker 1: a half to two.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I've been against Nebraska every game, so I think
- 5:42Speaker 3: this line goes up.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Am a Polo some of the books that I respect
- 5:46Speaker 1: on my screen, AMA Polar Primary Market, I have Odds
- 5:50Speaker 1: logic up and that's the order I have him in. Actually,
- 5:54Speaker 1: so all right, so that game.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Looks like I think you'll see two and a half
- 5:57Speaker 3: in any by three and decent pretty he's bet okay.
- 6:01Speaker 1: So it goes to two and a half plus three minus.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Twenty only minus twenty two.
- 6:05Speaker 1: You can go to okay twenty two, and.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I would expect that would be a very good bet.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Alan. There's a guy that's on Twitter and he I
- 6:13Speaker 1: know we've answered it, but he asked me and a
- 6:16Speaker 1: second person I put their names on here. I'm not
- 6:18Speaker 1: gonna mention their names, but both guys asked me, Oh.
- 6:21Speaker 3: It's not the guy who's criticizing my SMU pick.
- 6:23Speaker 1: No Dave Liberatory. He said, hey, can you please ask
- 6:25Speaker 1: Alan for me? Why again to buy the two, three,
- 6:30Speaker 1: and five quite a by onto the number.
- 6:37Speaker 3: So number one, I don't like losing any game buy
- 6:42Speaker 3: half a point, So that's kind of a good reason
- 6:45Speaker 3: to buy a half a point.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Number two.
- 6:50Speaker 3: And I'm not so sure for the layman they should
- 6:52Speaker 3: do this. But for someone who just three times on
- 6:56Speaker 3: this two takes a higher percentage of winners than on average,
- 6:59Speaker 3: think buying half points is more worthwhile.
- 7:03Speaker 2: You could think of it this way.
- 7:04Speaker 3: If I think a game should be six, you could
- 7:08Speaker 3: buy down to five and lay in some places one
- 7:11Speaker 3: twenty one thirty, so you late twenty cents more.
- 7:15Speaker 2: But to buy to four, they would start.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Charging more than ten cents on the third half point
- 7:21Speaker 3: buy and the fourth half point by You can't buy
- 7:24Speaker 3: four half points anymore anywhere in this world because the
- 7:28Speaker 3: more you buy, the more that half point becomes more valuable.
- 7:32Speaker 3: So where if I have a game six and it's
- 7:34Speaker 3: three and a half, it's not like I'm buying three
- 7:37Speaker 3: and a half to three. It's like I'm buying from
- 7:43Speaker 3: six down to three because I think the game should
- 7:46Speaker 3: be six. And therefore, since I'm buying and I'm technically
- 7:49Speaker 3: not buying. But this is how I the only way
- 7:51Speaker 3: I can explain it where you think about it properly,
- 7:54Speaker 3: is that sixth half point I'm buying, which is what
- 7:56Speaker 3: it is, six down to three. That half point is
- 7:58Speaker 3: worth a lot more because my number is six. Then
- 8:02Speaker 3: if you're just some person who just feels like laying
- 8:05Speaker 3: three and a half in a game, now, you're just
- 8:07Speaker 3: just spending twelve cents on on a half point three,
- 8:10Speaker 3: and that's probably what it's worth. But to me, where
- 8:13Speaker 3: the more the more points you buy, the more the
- 8:15Speaker 3: more valuably they come. I'm buying like a six half point,
- 8:19Speaker 3: and therefore it's worth about thirty cents, So I'm stealing
- 8:22Speaker 3: by laying twelve cents. That's I don't have to be
- 8:25Speaker 3: right on that, That's just how I think about it.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Some of the local books still will let you buy
- 8:29Speaker 1: from like five and a half down to three and
- 8:31Speaker 1: lay a dollar fifty buying.
- 8:33Speaker 2: You do it all day. It's worth one half. Yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 2: that's maybe we shouldn't advertise that. Yeah, okay, well people,
- 8:39Speaker 2: some of your some of.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Your compriders are like that. They'll blab about how smart there.
- 8:43Speaker 1: All right, let's go on to the next game. Game
- 8:46Speaker 1: six to eighteen Perdue opened up seven and a half
- 8:49Speaker 1: and they're about seven. There's a couple six and a
- 8:51Speaker 1: halfs now on Texas Perdue.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd only have the favorite. I'm not I'm not
- 8:55Speaker 3: a Texas fan. I uh, the Byu game was a joke.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Why you didn't didn't try? Or was so in Netley
- 9:02Speaker 3: coach that they looked like they weren't trying. That's what
- 9:05Speaker 3: happens when you pay some Prima Donna two million. He
- 9:07Speaker 3: doesn't feel like defending or moving without the ball. Yes,
- 9:10Speaker 3: that's you, aj Dibsanta.
- 9:13Speaker 2: So that win was nothing.
- 9:14Speaker 3: And then the Gonzaga win, which I.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Which technically is a good win.
- 9:18Speaker 3: I probably had Gonzaga wildly overrated because number one, it's Gonzaga,
- 9:24Speaker 3: but maybe the injury to Braidon hupp Is.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I guess his name.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I don't remember names, and the kid Whirley has not
- 9:30Speaker 3: been playing at one hundred percent. I guess he's the
- 9:31Speaker 3: best defender and maybe matters a little more. And maybe
- 9:34Speaker 3: I should have taken the struggle against Nisaar in the
- 9:36Speaker 3: first round a little more seriously, because I did love
- 9:38Speaker 3: Gonzaga on in the second round against Texas, so I
- 9:42Speaker 3: don't I don't I think it was more. I just
- 9:43Speaker 3: Gonzaga was overrated than Texas is all of a sudden
- 9:46Speaker 3: becoming some great team. They had some moments during the
- 9:50Speaker 3: year that were pretty good that they went to Connecticut
- 9:52Speaker 3: and played them top, but Connecticut was coming off a
- 9:54Speaker 3: series of big wins, so I'm not even giving them
- 9:57Speaker 3: credit for that. I make the game like eight, maybe
- 10:00Speaker 3: eight and a half. And with produced experience in his tournament,
- 10:04Speaker 3: and and you know Kaufman Rand and Braden Smith and
- 10:08Speaker 3: and now I'm not good with names, but they have
- 10:11Speaker 3: a bunch of guys who've been this through before, and
- 10:13Speaker 3: they seem to be playing a little better than during
- 10:15Speaker 3: the year. Both both their top guys Smith that at
- 10:18Speaker 3: Coppin Ren had minor injuries during the year that they
- 10:22Speaker 3: were just gonna have to play through. It seems like
- 10:24Speaker 3: Kaupman Ren's been withstanding some of the banging, he doesn't
- 10:27Speaker 3: really get the benefit of the reps. He seems to
- 10:30Speaker 3: get mauled quite a bit with no calls being made.
- 10:32Speaker 3: But uh, I don't think Texas has the uh the
- 10:36Speaker 3: talent to make produce life miserable and and and this
- 10:39Speaker 3: few better than Matt Painters.
- 10:40Speaker 2: So Eileen to Purdue.
- 10:44Speaker 1: All right, let's go on to the final game for Thursday.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Final line game Arizona Arkansas, Arizona seven and a half
- 10:52Speaker 1: and eight's on the screen.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Yeah, uh so Arizona had to walk over in the
- 10:58Speaker 3: first round and then had u toss State eighteen down
- 11:01Speaker 3: Utahs eight.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Team I loved.
- 11:03Speaker 3: And now the game's down to four with four to
- 11:05Speaker 3: Togo and the shot clock's winding down. And here's the
- 11:08Speaker 3: Arizona guy throwing in a prayer as the shot clock expired,
- 11:11Speaker 3: and they go on to win by twelve.
- 11:14Speaker 2: That was a miracle.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Shot doesn't have doesn't if it doesn't go in. Who
- 11:18Speaker 3: knows if Arizona's even in his tournament. So props to
- 11:21Speaker 3: them for holding on. But Utah State maybe exposed them
- 11:24Speaker 3: a little bit. Now that being said, Arkansas is not
- 11:28Speaker 3: some team that's going to expose anybody with excell and
- 11:30Speaker 3: O's because cal Perry is not. You're excell and O's guy,
- 11:34Speaker 3: like like the Utah State coaches who.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Was just fantastic.
- 11:38Speaker 3: However, this is a big However, a cuff is so
- 11:41Speaker 3: good that he can take over a game even with
- 11:43Speaker 3: a team of excellent talent, that Arizona has also. I fine,
- 11:53Speaker 3: Arkansas got through a very very tough second round, and
- 11:57Speaker 3: it wasn't a knock on. They were playing a very
- 12:01Speaker 3: good team and they basically have six players. Arkansas, with
- 12:04Speaker 3: injury to Pringle and early season injuries, they basically using
- 12:07Speaker 3: six man rotations. They were playing a six man rotation
- 12:09Speaker 3: on short rest against a very underrated and very athletic
- 12:13Speaker 3: High Point team, and you know, it was actually a
- 12:15Speaker 3: good win. It looked like a struggle and it was,
- 12:17Speaker 3: but it was legit. So now they're rested and they
- 12:21Speaker 3: still have a cuff who can take over a game
- 12:22Speaker 3: against anybody. They're still hyper athletic. Yes they're excellent. Ozon't good,
- 12:27Speaker 3: but that's kind of cal Parry's thing, to let the
- 12:29Speaker 3: athletes play. Part of the reason he's able to get
- 12:32Speaker 3: athletes is he's not teaching him fifty set plays. In fact,
- 12:37Speaker 3: I don't know what he's teaching him, but you know,
- 12:39Speaker 3: they do play hard for him. And I could see
- 12:42Speaker 3: arkanetased athleticism bothering anybody, including Arizona. So I think the
- 12:47Speaker 3: line is technically about right, but I'd only be on Arkansas.
- 12:51Speaker 1: All right, Let's go over to Friday, Friday. First game
- 12:53Speaker 1: is Duke. Saint John's opened up seven, quickly went down
- 12:57Speaker 1: to six and a half. There is a seven one
- 13:00Speaker 1: to seven here at Westgate, so you have it six
- 13:04Speaker 1: and a half seven.
- 13:06Speaker 3: So Duke's and others playing o little short handed, they
- 13:09Speaker 3: got the gone I don't know, I can't put that
- 13:11Speaker 3: was his name. He got back last game, played like
- 13:14Speaker 3: fifteen minutes.
- 13:15Speaker 2: I believe.
- 13:16Speaker 3: So Duke obviously was in trouble in the first round
- 13:19Speaker 3: and would have been in bigger trouble if they called
- 13:20Speaker 3: that second foul on uh on Boozer, but they don't
- 13:24Speaker 3: call it anything on Boozer. He can kind of do
- 13:25Speaker 3: what he wants and much like Cooper Flag last year
- 13:28Speaker 3: got away with murder, this is the latest in the
- 13:31Speaker 3: series of Duke players that does kind of what he
- 13:33Speaker 3: wants on the court and gets special dispensation. That being said,
- 13:37Speaker 3: Duke is a very very talented team. They imposed they
- 13:41Speaker 3: will on TCU and won rather handily, which was one
- 13:45Speaker 3: of my few winners in the second round. And on
- 13:48Speaker 3: the other side we have Saint John's who destroyed an
- 13:52Speaker 3: over matchinal and IOWA team which surprised me. They're impressive,
- 13:57Speaker 3: and then really had Kansas Dettenbury. They should have won
- 13:59Speaker 3: that game by one hundred, but Saint John's kind of
- 14:02Speaker 3: gut old, sloppy and their inability to hit three point
- 14:07Speaker 3: shots although they were all that out of thirty five
- 14:09Speaker 3: in the Canvas game. They had wide open look after
- 14:11Speaker 3: wide open look after they just didn't make them. And
- 14:13Speaker 3: that's their that's their hole, that's their flower in their
- 14:17Speaker 3: whole thing. Patino is excellent in preparing his team, especially defensive,
- 14:21Speaker 3: maybe even elite. And I'm sure he's gonna make Cameron
- 14:24Speaker 3: Booz's life miserable. They have a big guy that uh Boozy,
- 14:28Speaker 3: I guess his name is.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Uh. They're they're they they they they.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Play so hard Saint John's that they're very, very uncomfortable
- 14:36Speaker 3: to play against. And if it's one they did Duke
- 14:39Speaker 3: teams have been lacking sometimes, is is toughness.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Uh. I could see.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Uh, Saint John's making Duke's life miserable here and and
- 14:49Speaker 3: and uh, although I think that you know Saint Saint
- 14:55Speaker 3: John's struggles. They had three point shots. They're they're not
- 14:58Speaker 3: gonna win, but for some reason, if they find they're
- 15:02Speaker 3: outside shooting in this game, they could pull the.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Upset for sure, because who would you le that.
- 15:06Speaker 3: That doesn't mean I'm telling you to bet Saint John's,
- 15:08Speaker 3: but I'm definitely just a lean. Yeah, my numbers five
- 15:10Speaker 3: and a half, just you know.
- 15:11Speaker 1: That's what I wanted. All right, let's go to the
- 15:14Speaker 1: next one, Connecticut Michigan State. Connecticut opened up one, quickly
- 15:17Speaker 1: went to two, and that's where we stand. There's a
- 15:19Speaker 1: couple one and a halfs, but mostly two.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I kind of expect that game to go on. I'm
- 15:24Speaker 3: big time against Michigan State last round, and and I
- 15:27Speaker 3: was on Connecticut last round, so I kind of slanted
- 15:29Speaker 3: towards Connecticut and slanted against Michigan State. Uh, that big set.
- 15:34Speaker 3: I do like I do like Yukon here my numbers four,
- 15:38Speaker 3: which I know seems kind of high given that they
- 15:40Speaker 3: they haven't been world beaters. They were they were life
- 15:44Speaker 3: and death with Furman. Yeah it was there was without
- 15:47Speaker 3: their point guard. Yes, uh but still and and Hurley
- 15:51Speaker 3: went on and praised uh Bob Ritchie, the coach of
- 15:54Speaker 3: Furman and predicts that will have a big job next year,
- 15:57Speaker 3: which I'm surprised hasn't happened long time ago. For Richie
- 15:59Speaker 3: is a great coach and Hurley's Curley's great.
- 16:02Speaker 2: In press conference.
- 16:03Speaker 3: His honor and his integrity resonates from it comes from
- 16:06Speaker 3: his dad.
- 16:07Speaker 2: And he just h.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Just a straight shooter with class, a rarity in today's world.
- 16:13Speaker 3: So I really respect Dan Hurley. Uh and Izzo also
- 16:17Speaker 3: Izzo in his press conference, Uh, Jeremy Fears broke some
- 16:22Speaker 3: assist record or something, and Izo didn't talk about how
- 16:25Speaker 3: great Fears is. Izzo talked about how much Fears has
- 16:28Speaker 3: grown as a person, not only as a basketball player,
- 16:31Speaker 3: but also as a person, and then went on to
- 16:34Speaker 3: talk about how coaches are not are no longer people
- 16:40Speaker 3: who that mattered more to Izzo than winning the game.
- 16:45Speaker 3: And he said coaches have completely lost that that thought,
- 16:48Speaker 3: that flavor that they're there to help men grow up,
- 16:51Speaker 3: help kids grow up and become men, not win basketball games.
- 16:54Speaker 3: That's that's part be to it. And he went on
- 16:57Speaker 3: a whole rant about it. He was one hundred percent right,
- 16:59Speaker 3: that's the old school approach to coaching.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I love is though he's doing an amazing job this year.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Uh. He's worked with Fears a ton, He's becoming an
- 17:07Speaker 3: elite point guard. His big men are playing great, the
- 17:10Speaker 3: team's improved a Ton this year. I did not expect
- 17:13Speaker 3: them to be this good. Uh, So props to Izzo,
- 17:16Speaker 3: but I just think connecticut ceiling is way way higher.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Uh And Hurley also has an elite coaching staff, and
- 17:24Speaker 3: and and yeah, it seems like they've struggled a little bit.
- 17:26Speaker 3: They struggled with Furman, and UCLA was right in the
- 17:29Speaker 3: game even without without Tyler Billodoh, and then they made
- 17:33Speaker 3: a call that was probably not very good and Cronin
- 17:35Speaker 3: lost his mind and got a tactical and the game
- 17:38Speaker 3: got blown open late. So Yukon seems to have been struggling.
- 17:42Speaker 3: They had this struggles late in the year. I still
- 17:44Speaker 3: think this is an elite team.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I think the.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Big East Final against Saint John's where Caravan was completely
- 17:51Speaker 3: taken out of the game, I think they learned a
- 17:52Speaker 3: lot from that. Now Caravan is moving way better without
- 17:56Speaker 3: the ball, and he's going to take over games. And
- 17:58Speaker 3: he took over the the UCLA game. He was unstoppable,
- 18:02Speaker 3: which Cronin praise him for for his loyalty to the
- 18:05Speaker 3: program and doing things the right way. So it's a
- 18:08Speaker 3: bunch of old school interactions here. And I just think
- 18:10Speaker 3: Connecticut's a better version of Michigan State, and I expect
- 18:13Speaker 3: them to win. I also think the line is gonna
- 18:14Speaker 3: go down, so i'd be laying one and a half
- 18:17Speaker 3: for pretty big bets.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Okay, Circa has one and a half in MGM.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I think you'll see it easy. I think it's headed
- 18:22Speaker 2: back towards one.
- 18:23Speaker 1: And let me ask you, No, Circa has a money
- 18:25Speaker 1: line of it minus a dollar twenty one. When you
- 18:28Speaker 1: take that over the minus one and a half, I
- 18:30Speaker 1: know one's not the big number, but.
- 18:31Speaker 3: It's still it's two bets though, Yeah, exactly see you
- 18:35Speaker 3: paying eleven cents for that?
- 18:39Speaker 2: Uh No, I don't think I would.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Okay, good, so one and a half. I don't think
- 18:43Speaker 1: I would half minus a dollar ten? All right, let's
- 18:46Speaker 1: go on to the final.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I think i'd rather lay to the one and a half.
- 18:49Speaker 1: All right, I'll getting that Circa.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Even though it's two bets. Games so rarely fall one.
- 18:53Speaker 3: But that's something that computer could tell you.
- 18:54Speaker 1: But today's today's Tuesday, so you can just wait until Thursday.
- 18:58Speaker 1: You think this game may go down in Michigan State money?
- 19:01Speaker 3: Should I say? It must be Belgium? Or is that
- 19:02Speaker 3: too old for people?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Too old? That's my mind's where my mind goes.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Sorry, all right, let's go to Michigan Alabama. This game
- 19:12Speaker 1: open ten, still ten, everywhere.
- 19:15Speaker 2: My number is slightly lower.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Alabama has run rough shot just bombing threes, and the
- 19:21Speaker 3: speed of the game is making teams uncomfortable. Unfortunately, they're
- 19:27Speaker 3: facing Michigan, who's the best. Game is probably unbeatable. They
- 19:35Speaker 3: have elite depth, They have elite linked one through five, however,
- 19:43Speaker 3: and this is a good However, Alabama has the style.
- 19:47Speaker 2: That could that could beat anybody.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Their speed getting to their spots to shoot threes is
- 19:53Speaker 3: elite and.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I'm not sure no amount of coaching can stop that.
- 19:58Speaker 3: If they have a red hot day from three p land,
- 20:00Speaker 3: they certainly can make this game very very interesting. Dusty
- 20:04Speaker 3: May is not really he can go either way, but
- 20:08Speaker 3: I think he'd be better off trying to get this
- 20:09Speaker 3: game into a half court where his superior hide up
- 20:11Speaker 3: front dominates. I'm not so sure that's what he'll do,
- 20:14Speaker 3: and I'm not so sure Alabama will even let him
- 20:16Speaker 3: do it. Alabama will sacrifice good shots to get the
- 20:19Speaker 3: game held the skelter at times, and sometimes those bad
- 20:21Speaker 3: shots go in, and if that happens, this could be
- 20:25Speaker 3: a trouble. Alabama winning or Michigan winning by fifty neither
- 20:28Speaker 3: would surprise me. The only way I'd go is Alabama,
- 20:31Speaker 3: and not for much.
- 20:33Speaker 1: What did you make the game?
- 20:34Speaker 3: Win?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Eight?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Eight?
- 20:35Speaker 2: I don't like my number, though it feels a little late.
- 20:39Speaker 1: All right, let's go to Iowa State Tennessee. Iowa stayed
- 20:42Speaker 1: open though four. There's still a one to four. Now
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm sorry, there's two fours on the screen mostly four
- 20:47Speaker 1: and a half.
- 20:49Speaker 3: Yeah, so I guess Jefferson's return is happening. That doesn't
- 20:52Speaker 3: mean nobly one hundred percent, and they seem fine without him.
- 20:54Speaker 2: But he is a really, really good player.
- 20:58Speaker 3: My line in his game is only two, maybe two
- 20:59Speaker 3: an half, So I'm definitely going to bet Tennessee for
- 21:02Speaker 3: some amount of money. My issue is it's Otsolburger against
- 21:09Speaker 3: Rick Barnes, and I am never going crazy with the
- 21:13Speaker 3: inferior coach. Otzolberger has just done an incredible job at
- 21:17Speaker 3: Iowa State. His defensive principles are fantastic, and in a
- 21:22Speaker 3: different way, Tennessee's are too.
- 21:25Speaker 2: So it's a battle of who turns the ball over
- 21:27Speaker 2: mess and.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I don't know if there's any way you can emulate
- 21:33Speaker 3: Iowa State's defense, and if Tennessee is able to Tennessee's
- 21:38Speaker 3: athletic enough whe they should be able to handle it.
- 21:39Speaker 3: But Rick Barnes teams in the past have struggled with
- 21:44Speaker 3: playing sound basketball for forty minutes, and that's my only worry. Otherwise,
- 21:48Speaker 3: I think this would be a great bet. I think
- 21:49Speaker 3: this line is really high, given it's Tennessee, Iowa State,
- 21:53Speaker 3: and given Jefferson might not be one hundred percent all.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Right, so we got to play on the dog. There
- 22:00Speaker 1: have a question from Mike Zang, who was here last week.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Mike, Mike was great. Thanks Mike.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Your questions were extremely relevant and your analysis of the
- 22:09Speaker 3: Tulsa game was bang on.
- 22:13Speaker 1: You know what it's actually First, do you have any
- 22:15Speaker 1: opinion on the four n games?
- 22:17Speaker 2: No? No, I made every single game exactly what it is.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Okay, all right?
- 22:22Speaker 2: If the n I t was good last weekend, actually
- 22:24Speaker 2: scooped it.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Cow was a good game for us. Mike said, I
- 22:28Speaker 1: love you and Alan, if you don't mind, can you
- 22:29Speaker 1: ask Alan on the show on behalf of Me?
- 22:32Speaker 2: I see two dogs.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Winning outright this Thursday, Iowa and Tennessee. What are his thoughts?
- 22:38Speaker 1: On outright upsets.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:40Speaker 3: No, I we just went over those games, and I
- 22:42Speaker 3: absolutely think both both teams are have an excellent chance
- 22:46Speaker 3: to win. I like I said, I like Iowa. I
- 22:49Speaker 3: just think the line might go up. And I just
- 22:51Speaker 3: went over the whole Tennessee spiel. So yeah, they're not
- 22:53Speaker 3: They're not big dogs. I mean just mathematically, which I'm
- 22:56Speaker 3: sure Mike is good at. You know, a team's a
- 22:58Speaker 3: dollar fifty dog, they're gonna win and uh two out
- 23:01Speaker 3: of five times, So it's not uh, it's just on
- 23:04Speaker 3: math alone, it's not out of the out of the realm.
- 23:06Speaker 3: But I made the Nebraska Iowa game pick, and and
- 23:09Speaker 3: I think i Aoways coaches far superior, So I actually
- 23:12Speaker 3: think they're probably a favorite to win the game. And then, uh,
- 23:15Speaker 3: the only knock is there. I kind of think that
- 23:17Speaker 3: you know, they played twice and and Nebraska won the
- 23:19Speaker 3: first time, Iowa won the second time, and that whole
- 23:21Speaker 3: zigzag thing might have some relevance. But with a four
- 23:25Speaker 3: day prep and and and McCollum, I just think he'll
- 23:29Speaker 3: have something sneaky prepared for Nebraska that they won't be expecting,
- 23:33Speaker 3: and and and I think they'll beat them. And yeah, Tennessee,
- 23:36Speaker 3: if they can handle Iowa State's pressure. Uh, their talent's
- 23:40Speaker 3: probably slightly better.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Uh.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I shouldn't say that.
- 23:42Speaker 3: I'm not a talent expert, but it's at least even
- 23:45Speaker 3: especially with Jefferson, probably not one hundred percent. So yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 3: for sure they have a good chance to win, except
- 23:50Speaker 3: as Rick Barnes trying to win a big game, and
- 23:52Speaker 3: that's uh, he'll he'll screw it up probably.
- 23:55Speaker 2: That's that's my that's the problem.
- 23:57Speaker 1: All right, the kid Hilly local kid. Thanks, it's a
- 24:00Speaker 1: ton for last weekend. The season breaking down each game
- 24:03Speaker 1: was awesome. What teams would Allen look at setting up
- 24:06Speaker 1: a mechanical parlay or hitting in the futures market for
- 24:09Speaker 1: the Sweet sixteen or any team that's that's the first question.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Would there be any mechanical parlays at this point? Instead
- 24:17Speaker 1: of being a future to win it all? Would you
- 24:20Speaker 1: pick anything? Maybe money line parlay in the money instead
- 24:23Speaker 1: of going with.
- 24:24Speaker 3: The you know, and when Flarida got knocked out, I
- 24:26Speaker 3: didn't even look at I didn't look at at who's
- 24:28Speaker 3: playing who or who's playing what now? I you know,
- 24:32Speaker 3: I thought Florida had the edge and now it's probably
- 24:34Speaker 3: Michigan who has the edge, especially if they meet Duke
- 24:38Speaker 3: where they lost them the first time, and they were
- 24:40Speaker 3: the better team the first time, they just didn't go
- 24:41Speaker 3: their way. Yes, so Michigan's definitely the favorite, but they
- 24:45Speaker 3: have a tricky game and Duke has a tricky game.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Like I can see the I can see all these
- 24:48Speaker 3: teams losing. I don't think Arizona's gonna win. I've I've seen.
- 24:53Speaker 3: I've seen that they're exploitable in ways and uh.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Not many, but they.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I just have a hunch Arizona's gonna put a clinker
- 25:02Speaker 3: in at the wrong time, and it just might be
- 25:05Speaker 3: this week against the uber uber at talented Arkansas team.
- 25:09Speaker 2: So I have I have no thought to offer.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Like Yukon, I guess is the one team that I
- 25:13Speaker 3: think is sneaky, but their drawers brutal and has.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Been his second question, any teams he would continue to
- 25:20Speaker 1: go against. The no markets that Chris are Arizona minus
- 25:24Speaker 1: four ten, Duke minus five sixty, Michigan minus three ninety five.
- 25:28Speaker 2: That's the nose again.
- 25:31Speaker 3: I don't know who they play in the in the
- 25:32Speaker 3: in the next rounds, but probably.
- 25:38Speaker 2: I don't know the math at this point is probably
- 25:40Speaker 2: close to accurate.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Like there's only a few games left and they know
- 25:43Speaker 3: they know about who they're gonna play, So I doubt
- 25:46Speaker 3: there's really any kind of edge of them.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And I don't really.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Think I have any of those teams really over or underrated.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, I would know Duke in Arizona
- 25:58Speaker 3: because I think Michigan lays over him.
- 25:59Speaker 2: But I could see Michigan losing this week.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Even though they completely lay over Alabama, or Alabama was
- 26:04Speaker 3: the kind of team that they you know, they bomb
- 26:05Speaker 3: in threes, They're gonna beat you.
- 26:07Speaker 2: There's nothing you can do.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Uh.
- 26:10Speaker 1: This is more of a comment I thought, as we
- 26:12Speaker 1: should mention because I find it so cool when someone.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Is How about the guy who didn't think my Georgia
- 26:17Speaker 3: or analysis was good? Do we have his comment on there?
- 26:20Speaker 1: No, that was a race. Were raised to it, and
- 26:22Speaker 1: now he's blocked for life. He can't even watch the show.
- 26:24Speaker 2: That's too bad.
- 26:25Speaker 1: He said, he said he got mad at George. You
- 26:27Speaker 1: got mad.
- 26:27Speaker 3: He made some point about Georgia that they you said
- 26:29Speaker 3: I was wrong about. But I but but he of
- 26:31Speaker 3: course he did hear what I said. I said, Georgia
- 26:34Speaker 3: only played well in situations where they were expected to
- 26:37Speaker 3: or words to that effect. But he completely ignored that,
- 26:40Speaker 3: and then something about SMU. By the way, SMU lost
- 26:43Speaker 3: is a big favorite, and Georgia got blown out. So
- 26:46Speaker 3: f you, buddy, too bad. You can't hear it Allan
- 26:48Speaker 3: didn't curse? Wow, all right, I'm trying not to. We're
- 26:52Speaker 3: at a classic classy joint or not.
- 26:56Speaker 1: This guy was, by the way, one hundred and thirty
- 26:59Speaker 1: good comments. I'm show we really appreciate you guys, your
- 27:02Speaker 1: comment subscribes likes, Thank you very.
- 27:03Speaker 2: What's the point of saying something negative.
- 27:05Speaker 3: I'm trying to talk about sixty eight teams off the
- 27:07Speaker 3: top of my head. Yeah, we'll find someone else to
- 27:09Speaker 3: do that on. Go watch the Sports tax network where
- 27:12Speaker 3: they know absolutely nothing about basketball, and listen to what
- 27:14Speaker 3: they say.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Go nit pick them because you can. Every single sentence
- 27:17Speaker 2: you can. Did pick them?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Didn't your parents teach it? Not nice to say, don't
- 27:21Speaker 1: say it. Weren't you raised right?
- 27:23Speaker 2: I didn't talk. I wasn't taught that, but not you
- 27:24Speaker 2: still Yeah, uh, my parents had teach me right from
- 27:28Speaker 2: wrong though.
- 27:29Speaker 1: That's right. But we are open to constructive criticism, of course,
- 27:32Speaker 1: that's how you learn in a nice way.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how you learn.
- 27:35Speaker 3: When Michael made his comments, I said, you got it
- 27:37Speaker 3: exactly right, buddy. Right, it wasn't a criticism, was a comment, right,
- 27:40Speaker 3: had he criticized me?
- 27:41Speaker 2: I think maybe you got this wrong. For this reason,
- 27:43Speaker 2: I would love to have heard it.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Yeah, this is just a comment. I thought it was
- 27:46Speaker 1: really cool. I wish I could beat here with ten guys.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Love the shows also, he said, he said, Oh no, unfortunately,
- 27:53Speaker 1: I live in Australia. Of course I'd love to be there.
- 27:56Speaker 3: We'll do, we'll do, we'll do, We'll fly out there
- 28:00Speaker 3: and do it. That's if they let us in.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Becus.
- 28:03Speaker 3: They've lost their minds over there too, but that's for
- 28:05Speaker 3: another day.
- 28:06Speaker 1: This is Dave Harris on Twitter. The Total seems love
- 28:10Speaker 1: with Allen the new Totals totally which want go on?
- 28:12Speaker 1: Iowa Nebraska on the Total.
- 28:15Speaker 3: They played fifty two to fifty one in the first game.
- 28:17Speaker 3: They played low and overtime the second game. They're very,
- 28:19Speaker 3: very familiar with each other. Iowa will not get in
- 28:23Speaker 3: a track meet with Nebraska, right, fifty two fifty one
- 28:26Speaker 3: in the first game.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Yes, I don't think the totals that low.
- 28:30Speaker 3: I don't think's there's no way Iowa wins a fast
- 28:32Speaker 3: game with Nebraska and stt that Stirts kid plays all
- 28:35Speaker 3: forty minutes, never makes a mistake. Uh. That being said,
- 28:38Speaker 3: I mean Florida completely botched that you had a double Stirts.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Don't let him get the ball. And if someone else
- 28:44Speaker 3: makes a play to beat you with a three, so
- 28:46Speaker 3: be it. But Florida, they shouldn't have been down to
- 28:49Speaker 3: the end boundary. They should have been behind the guy.
- 28:50Speaker 3: You can't let someone get loose like that of mind Stirts.
- 28:52Speaker 2: It was terrible.
- 28:54Speaker 3: But yeah, no, that game is going to be a
- 28:57Speaker 3: half Clark grind and I don't think too well.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Instinctively see someone on Twitter. He thought he was right
- 29:05Speaker 1: about things, but he admits to being wrong. He said,
- 29:08Speaker 1: I haven't watched Allan in years. I probably thought he
- 29:10Speaker 1: was maybe watched Wow, am I wrong? Last week's video
- 29:14Speaker 1: was incredible, So nice tournament that he hasn't watched you
- 29:17Speaker 1: in years, He said, I just didn't know what he
- 29:19Speaker 1: was doing. It was nice. Uh yeah, thank you Skolansky.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Uh Stephen Patty wants to do you have any David
- 29:25Speaker 1: Skolansky stories to share? I didn't.
- 29:28Speaker 2: I didn't know. I didn't like him.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Oh so good riddance, all right, and that's that with him. Yeah, No,
- 29:35Speaker 1: this was an interesting week here that we had. We
- 29:39Speaker 1: had lots of great comments, a.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Lot of sounds mean but too bad.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he just blunts. You don't mean to
- 29:45Speaker 1: be mean, You're not so I don't care.
- 29:47Speaker 2: You know, you know, we all die. So he's dead.
- 29:49Speaker 2: See you later.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not trying to disrespect him.
- 29:51Speaker 2: It never affected me. And meet him.
- 29:55Speaker 1: A couple of times better I get to the story.
- 29:58Speaker 2: He just died.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Let's talk about my madis soundstead though you did his podcast? Yeah,
- 30:02Speaker 1: that went very well. It went good.
- 30:04Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 30:04Speaker 1: That's what he said.
- 30:05Speaker 2: He said it went well with Brandon. What does he
- 30:07Speaker 2: know though, I can't.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Yeah, my hero Brandon Cantu.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Helmuth was.
- 30:13Speaker 1: Missing, Helmet was missing.
- 30:14Speaker 2: He was the third member. They're all good guys.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I was gonna saying, I was just gonna say, no,
- 30:19Speaker 1: those guys get a lot of flak. I guess because
- 30:21Speaker 1: the way Phil Phil is at the table, but outside,
- 30:24Speaker 1: you know, away from the table. I know he's helped
- 30:26Speaker 1: a lot of people. I know he's actually done some really,
- 30:30Speaker 1: he's very.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Well liked outside the table, off the table, Yeah, yeah, no, no,
- 30:35Speaker 3: he's supposedly a very good, harded dude, and I know
- 30:37Speaker 3: mattis how to be that too, and can't two is harmless.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Can't two is a bit self destructive, but that's okay.
- 30:44Speaker 2: We all are.
- 30:45Speaker 1: One day he ran into me at hard Rock and
- 30:49Speaker 1: he asked me for a game. I said, well, I
- 30:51Speaker 1: really don't bet a lot on baseball this time of
- 30:53Speaker 1: the year. Just give me a game. Kansas City Worlds
- 30:54Speaker 1: about twenty five thousand in front of me. I couldn't
- 30:56Speaker 1: believe it. I thought he's been like a dime or two,
- 30:59Speaker 1: and he won by the way they can. I'm sorry
- 31:01Speaker 1: if I can't pronouction an Angie. This boy Angie. I
- 31:05Speaker 1: mean it's ange Ange Invenzianano. If I was in Vegas,
- 31:10Speaker 1: I would have been front row with you guys, Boston
- 31:12Speaker 1: and Crack getting back, getting Boston back into the spotlight.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I absolutely love this. He's a national treasure. I just
- 31:19Speaker 1: like a good comment like that from somebody that's that's an.
- 31:22Speaker 2: All you could just see treasure.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I don't know about national treasure, but you're somewhere in there.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I would be if anyone if anyone big got involved
- 31:29Speaker 2: with this.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, everyone says that these comments are amazing.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Dude is electric. They love this guy.
- 31:37Speaker 2: I'm not bragging.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I know what I'm doing, like I've been doing this
- 31:39Speaker 3: a long time. I'm more on in a lot of ways,
- 31:42Speaker 3: but not in this way. So, like I said, I
- 31:44Speaker 3: challenge all these people want to like negative ship on there,
- 31:47Speaker 3: go find someone else's gonna talk without a note, doesn't
- 31:51Speaker 3: know what's coming, just answer the questions off the top
- 31:53Speaker 3: of his head. Yeah, I'm immersed into sport during the world,
- 31:55Speaker 3: but doesn't mean I have to recall every single freaking
- 31:57Speaker 3: game right, Like, yeah, you want to nippick one sentence
- 32:02Speaker 3: when you don't even right about it either, don't find
- 32:04Speaker 3: someone else to do it.
- 32:05Speaker 2: The answer is you won't.
- 32:05Speaker 1: The next comment was exactly being able to recite all of
- 32:08Speaker 1: this from memory, from the name of the coach to
- 32:11Speaker 1: who they played in December is amazing. Big respect to Alan,
- 32:14Speaker 1: Thank you. Truth teller said that truth teller. That's a
- 32:17Speaker 1: truth teller. The next guy came here, I totally missus
- 32:20Speaker 1: an I apologize, sir. I came here from Chicago to
- 32:24Speaker 1: watch you guys last week. He was here.
- 32:26Speaker 2: It's not someone from.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Schyrock, It's got to be him. Chicago's finest, great time today.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I enjoyed meeting you and Alan, both class acts, my
- 32:33Speaker 1: kind of people. So these are the kind of comments
- 32:36Speaker 1: that we got. Boston's a gem analytics. I mean, it's
- 32:38Speaker 1: just some fantastic comments. It sometimes I'll go through those
- 32:42Speaker 1: negative comments too. Why do I do that? It's an
- 32:45Speaker 1: internal thing that not just because I'm right about everything.
- 32:48Speaker 1: I'm wrong on things for sure, But I'll do that too, Alan,
- 32:51Speaker 1: Like I said, one hundred and thirty positive comments, but
- 32:54Speaker 1: you know just the way the tone of text behind
- 32:57Speaker 1: anonymity sometimes. But hey, if you you want to be
- 33:00Speaker 1: you want to be an asshole, you're going to be
- 33:01Speaker 1: blocked for life, won't get to see any of the
- 33:03Speaker 1: content ever, and you're out of your misery. If that's
- 33:05Speaker 1: the way I want to say it. Mister chemical At
- 33:09Speaker 1: was here. Help let's carry things in last week. I
- 33:11Speaker 1: just remember the first time, had fun being there last week.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Great to hang with you guys, Great to hang with
- 33:16Speaker 1: so many like minded individuals.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Uh.
- 33:18Speaker 1: He was a real the real big guy and that
- 33:20Speaker 1: was here last week.
- 33:22Speaker 2: There were a lot of big guys.
- 33:23Speaker 1: There was some big guys here last week.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm glad we didn't support the food bill.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Uh. This guy Kevin Kevin Kloone. And this is before me,
- 33:31Speaker 1: This is probably before I actually knew you. I just
- 33:34Speaker 1: knew of you. I look forward to Alan Boston breakdown
- 33:36Speaker 1: the tournament. I used to listen to him on the
- 33:38Speaker 1: old two plus two podcast talking March Bennis. That was fantastic.
- 33:43Speaker 1: What was that? Is that a poker podcast?
- 33:44Speaker 3: It's a poker podcast where I so I had the Uh,
- 33:49Speaker 3: I was the seventh stud pro at Paul Tilt and
- 33:52Speaker 3: I was at Polker after Dark which was no limit
- 33:54Speaker 3: hold them and had they eared? They asked me a question,
- 33:57Speaker 3: how does they They pulled me away from that table
- 33:59Speaker 3: Shanna Hyat, who's hot, like incredibly hot.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Oh I remember her?
- 34:04Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, yeah. TV doesn't do a justice the person
- 34:09Speaker 2: just forget it.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Like anyway, she pulls me away for the table and
- 34:12Speaker 3: asks how does a seven card Studs Slash sports better
- 34:17Speaker 3: end up in a Nolman HoldEm tournament? And the first
- 34:21Speaker 3: thing I said is do I have to stare at
- 34:22Speaker 3: the camera or could I stare at her? And they
- 34:23Speaker 3: said no, you can stare at her. Said, well, that's
- 34:25Speaker 3: a good start. I said, that's a great question, so
- 34:28Speaker 3: let me think about it, and I answered it in
- 34:30Speaker 3: the following manner. This is off the top of my
- 34:32Speaker 3: head now, and it was one of the proudest moments
- 34:34Speaker 3: of my life. I like to think of myself as
- 34:37Speaker 3: an iconocrastic, iconoclastic, anachronism, or in an anacartistic iconoclast, whichever
- 34:43Speaker 3: you prefer. However, Nolvan Holden became so relevant and so
- 34:49Speaker 3: popular that even I had to conform.
- 34:52Speaker 2: So here I am.
- 34:53Speaker 3: In other words, I'm a guy who goes against the grain,
- 34:55Speaker 3: doesn't give a shit what the rest of the world does.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I'm gonna do my thing. But Nolman Holden got so
- 34:59Speaker 2: big that even.
- 35:00Speaker 3: I had to participate in it.
- 35:02Speaker 2: And of course I'll lead.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Jabob whatever that was his name is said that won't
- 35:06Speaker 3: play well in Peoria. I said, actually, Bradley University in Peoria,
- 35:09Speaker 3: it's a college town.
- 35:10Speaker 2: They'll probably understand what I said.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I said, by the way, you have why why do
- 35:14Speaker 3: you want to take any intelligence away from the show,
- 35:17Speaker 3: like you want to hear all the cliches that Jamie
- 35:20Speaker 3: Gold and Mike Madison say, and the magician they don't
- 35:23Speaker 3: say one intelligent thing. See the one intelligent thing that
- 35:25Speaker 3: said you want to get rid of it? Yep, they
- 35:28Speaker 3: cut it out. So anyway, Uh, I was playing a
- 35:31Speaker 3: Norman Holden tournament. I hadn't played one hundred hands a
- 35:33Speaker 3: Norman home tournament. No, I have no idea how to play.
- 35:36Speaker 3: So I took a lot of flack on full tilt
- 35:40Speaker 3: from the two plus two crowd. That being said, two
- 35:44Speaker 3: plus two gets a hold of you, would you do
- 35:45Speaker 3: an interview?
- 35:47Speaker 2: I did?
- 35:48Speaker 3: And that's when that's when these people who were shitting
- 35:51Speaker 3: on me because I wasn't an Norman holding player and
- 35:54Speaker 3: I never admitted to me. By the way, I was
- 35:55Speaker 3: the seventh stud pro, uh, and I am good at
- 35:58Speaker 3: seven stud.
- 36:00Speaker 2: I found respect.
- 36:01Speaker 3: They liked the honesty, they liked the self deprecation, they
- 36:04Speaker 3: liked the fact that I admitted I'm not that good.
- 36:06Speaker 3: And what they most liked was when there was this
- 36:09Speaker 3: big argument back then who's better live or online? And
- 36:12Speaker 3: I'm a live I'm a live player, and these kids
- 36:14Speaker 3: are all online, and so of course the online kids
- 36:16Speaker 3: are better. They get way more reps at a very
- 36:18Speaker 3: young age, and they're gonna be one hundred times better
- 36:21Speaker 3: than anyone live.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Uh.
- 36:24Speaker 3: And and I became more of a regular, especially during
- 36:26Speaker 3: the NCAA tournament. I go over the games, and I
- 36:28Speaker 3: gave out a best bet every year, and it won
- 36:30Speaker 3: like nine or ten straight years, and it would have
- 36:32Speaker 3: won the tenth or eleventh year.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I forget what it was.
- 36:34Speaker 3: But Navaderino got sick the night before the best player
- 36:38Speaker 3: was on. Ivy had was like two to twenty from
- 36:41Speaker 3: three point land and they still missed two wide open
- 36:43Speaker 3: threes to cover the game. So that was my last
- 36:46Speaker 3: time on. And uh, I don't know why I haven't
- 36:47Speaker 3: had me on since. Maybe because I gave out a loser,
- 36:50Speaker 3: maybe because a podcast died, I don't know, but yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 3: I enjoyed doing those and and and good for the
- 36:57Speaker 3: good for the two plus two kids who didn't didn't
- 36:59Speaker 3: re expect me and nor should they have as a
- 37:01Speaker 3: poker player, but understood that we're all human beings. So
- 37:04Speaker 3: just because I'm not good at all and home doesn't mean.
- 37:06Speaker 2: I'm a bad dude. So yeah, good community.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Well, one thing they should do is never fire this girl,
- 37:13Speaker 1: because she really does her job. And some promoting the
- 37:17Speaker 1: poker tournaments and trying to get eleven people in there
- 37:20Speaker 1: for a tournament. All right. YZ Live guy follows us
- 37:24Speaker 1: every week comments thank you, sir efan awesome show every week,
- 37:28Speaker 1: but especially this week for March Madness. I don't bet
- 37:31Speaker 1: too much college basketball myself, but I tailed free of
- 37:34Speaker 1: mister Boston's picks that I thought stood out from his enthusiasm.
- 37:39Speaker 1: So far, I'm two and oh, I don't know what
- 37:40Speaker 1: the third one was. Thank you, Boston. I have one
- 37:44Speaker 1: last pick on Friday left to do all those breakdowns
- 37:47Speaker 1: my memories. Awesome. You can tell he's a season beck.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Keep living the dream, Fellas, thank you, two thumbs up,
- 37:53Speaker 1: so thank you. We want to thank you.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Heany ghash. I could say it was my dream, but
- 37:56Speaker 2: it's not.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Keep living the dream Fellas, Okay. Yeah, another guy from
- 38:00Speaker 1: across the pond from thank you from England.
- 38:02Speaker 2: That the dream is New York Prime in Myrtle Beach.
- 38:04Speaker 1: But yeah, New York Prime has. By the way, they
- 38:07Speaker 1: have a second location in screw that Voca Raton just
- 38:12Speaker 1: as good, Oh god, classy, elegant.
- 38:14Speaker 2: But the one that we can we can't get. We
- 38:16Speaker 2: can't get it bought for us.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we get a comped to Myrtle beach. I
- 38:19Speaker 1: forgot about that. That's the important part. Sorry, thank you, sir.
- 38:22Speaker 1: He knows who he is, uh myrtle Bee And that's
- 38:25Speaker 1: the nicest, classiest restaurant.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Inana cream pie Banana cream pie.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and Alan can do more than one slice even
- 38:32Speaker 1: you know there just to.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Get sick. But I'll eat it.
- 38:37Speaker 1: The Curson came out, I know it.
- 38:39Speaker 2: I never have dessert. I'm like, yeah, he does not.
- 38:41Speaker 2: I'm nuts with you.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Allan little he deserts one time in in Rhode Island.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Ocean House, yeah, ocean Yeah. It was the
- 38:48Speaker 3: ironic part of the meal. I ordered two desserts. Crack
- 38:51Speaker 3: ordered one.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 2: You wouldn't have bet that as a fame.
- 38:54Speaker 1: That wasn't the favorite. And he would have lost a lot,
- 38:56Speaker 1: a lot of money.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Well, I don't remember. They're all good.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Allen took us to this place, Ocean how. He said, listen,
- 39:04Speaker 1: you have to go to a couple places like these
- 39:06Speaker 1: are historic, beautiful and reasonable.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Really yeah, you know the guy don't rob but got
- 39:11Speaker 2: the guy.
- 39:11Speaker 3: The the guy who owns this place donated twenty eight
- 39:13Speaker 3: million to renovate a movie theater downtown. There you go
- 39:16Speaker 3: just here, and then I found out the bookstore I
- 39:19Speaker 3: get my books at it closed down. It reopened. I said,
- 39:22Speaker 3: you know, God blessed that guy who renovated there. He said, well,
- 39:25Speaker 3: he got us reopened too. I said, so, here's a
- 39:28Speaker 3: guy who owns the two nicest properties in the state
- 39:31Speaker 3: of Rhode Islands. It's the only five star hotel RD Island.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Doesn't rob you on the prices, makes you feel like
- 39:37Speaker 3: a king. It's a real old school place. It's right
- 39:39Speaker 3: on the ocean. Now, the rooms, don't get me wrong.
- 39:41Speaker 3: If you want a nice suite there, designed by world
- 39:43Speaker 3: class designers, it's like four thousand a night.
- 39:45Speaker 2: They're crazy, but who cares.
- 39:47Speaker 3: You're you're treated like a king for a knight for
- 39:49Speaker 3: four thousand stay in a beautiful room on the ocean.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Like if I had money, I would do it, but
- 39:54Speaker 3: he he does not charge a lot for dinner.
- 39:57Speaker 1: But the restaurant was reasonable. I'm so classy like Lenon's service.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I mean, it was just he.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Has a fixed dinner. That's fantastic too.
- 40:04Speaker 1: We went to two places like that.
- 40:05Speaker 3: The other one was the Week of pog In, which
- 40:08Speaker 3: is his sister property, which is on the harbor. Ocean
- 40:11Speaker 3: house is on the ocean out and Watch Hill. That's
- 40:13Speaker 3: where Taylor Swift and a bunch of other rich people live.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Like every house is bigger than the next, and they're
- 40:17Speaker 3: all in the ocean. It's ridiculous. It's like, who even
- 40:20Speaker 3: lives like this? And they're only there like two months
- 40:21Speaker 3: of years.
- 40:22Speaker 2: It's nice having money anyway.
- 40:26Speaker 1: How about this guy Randall Randall Jindy Sorr. If I
- 40:29Speaker 1: was pronouncing your last name wrong, crack, you must get
- 40:32Speaker 1: alan on back as soon as possible. He's not every week.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Just to let you know, he is the only one
- 40:36Speaker 1: who has a clue about the game after listening to
- 40:39Speaker 1: his analysts. Everyone else sounds like a clown.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Thank you. It's probably accurate.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Did really well following him Thursday and Friday. Man is
- 40:48Speaker 1: really smart.
- 40:49Speaker 3: So so, just as an aside to that, most people
- 40:53Speaker 3: in the world today are full of shit. They're espousing
- 40:58Speaker 3: nonsense in an effort to make money, whether it be
- 41:02Speaker 3: with blowing up their website, blowing up their tout service,
- 41:05Speaker 3: blowing up their podcast. Whatever they'll say, whatever they have
- 41:08Speaker 3: to say, make it sound good and hope for the best.
- 41:13Speaker 3: I have been earning a living doing this since I
- 41:16Speaker 3: was much younger. In nineteen eighty eight, and I have
- 41:21Speaker 3: nothing in the skin. I'm not you know, crack bought
- 41:23Speaker 3: breakfast this boy, and fine, that's enough of me to
- 41:25Speaker 3: do this. I'm not making any money. I would never
- 41:28Speaker 3: charge anyone if someone offer me money, or I'd tell
- 41:29Speaker 3: them no. I'm doing this in a hope that someone
- 41:32Speaker 3: either can learn something or enjoys it. And so the
- 41:35Speaker 3: positive comments are cool.
- 41:38Speaker 2: But I have actually done this. I didn't earn a
- 41:40Speaker 2: living modeling.
- 41:40Speaker 3: I assure you, I've only done it betting basketball and
- 41:45Speaker 3: nothing else.
- 41:45Speaker 2: There's no other place that I've earned in my life.
- 41:49Speaker 3: These other people are attempting to earn a living by
- 41:53Speaker 3: speaking words, not by living the life. So yes, they're
- 41:57Speaker 3: gonna sound like clowns compared to me because they.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Are co Chiese. There you go. I just bragged.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Co Chiese just says great job on everything. However, he
- 42:07Speaker 1: said I wanted to buy. Florida just can't get over
- 42:10Speaker 1: their inconsistent guard play. The Biggs didn't do much step,
- 42:13Speaker 1: they blocked shots, they reback. Why what's the reason why
- 42:15Speaker 1: you think Florida actually lost outright in that game? I
- 42:18Speaker 1: didn't watch that.
- 42:19Speaker 3: They despite being the much bigger stronger team. Iowa are
- 42:25Speaker 3: out physical to them. I think, I think the sixty
- 42:28Speaker 3: point win in the first round and they're being a
- 42:30Speaker 3: big favorite in the second round, they went to sleep.
- 42:35Speaker 3: It's just human nature. It was just too easy. Uh,
- 42:38Speaker 3: you know, we've been through this before. We've always they pulled.
- 42:40Speaker 3: They pulled a billion games out of their ass last year,
- 42:43Speaker 3: and I think subconsciously they just weren't ready and Iowa took.
- 42:48Speaker 2: It to him. And when they.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Finally got their act together and finally did get the lead,
- 42:51Speaker 3: they completely botched the end of the game. Very surprised
- 42:54Speaker 3: that a golden team would just butcher it. You don't
- 42:58Speaker 3: let a guy run behind you and catch the pass,
- 43:00Speaker 3: and I mean, it was just unbelievable. You cannot let
- 43:02Speaker 3: starts touch that ball. You don't guard the inbound, your
- 43:05Speaker 3: double team him, don't let him beat you.
- 43:07Speaker 2: And he did.
- 43:07Speaker 3: He didn't hit the shot, but he made the play.
- 43:11Speaker 3: So yeah, I think Florida took Iowa lightly and paid
- 43:16Speaker 3: for it, and they didn't have a horse shoe up
- 43:18Speaker 3: there ass like they did last year when they won
- 43:20Speaker 3: every close game.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Russ Miller asked, Alan, please tell me your opinion on
- 43:24Speaker 1: Youbert Davis.
- 43:26Speaker 3: I've already mentioned any chance again a Hubert Davis. I
- 43:29Speaker 3: said it the last podcast. Any chance to bet against
- 43:32Speaker 3: Hubert Davis is welcome, which is why it's VC you
- 43:34Speaker 3: and nobody. And by the way, he proved while you
- 43:36Speaker 3: want to bet against him, that was that was embarrassing.
- 43:38Speaker 3: What North Carolina did that game. That was an embarrassment.
- 43:43Speaker 2: I'm almost surprised he's still the coach.
- 43:47Speaker 3: I guess he's well liked and he's he's probably a
- 43:49Speaker 3: classy guy, but he's not a great coach.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah, now here we'll go. This guy Johnny Dakota,
- 43:56Speaker 1: of course a fake name. Thank you. I hammered UCLA
- 44:00Speaker 1: by any number based on this video and inside. Thanks again.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Next guy came in, Andy McBride said, blame the coach.
- 44:05Speaker 1: They should have covered. If that's your only takeaway, asta
- 44:08Speaker 1: la vista, none even watch it.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Is he serious?
- 44:11Speaker 1: That's what he said.
- 44:11Speaker 2: They're a eighteen with eight minutes.
- 44:13Speaker 1: That's your only takeaway, pal, We don't need you.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Tyler billoout employ Corona wouldn't let him play. They had
- 44:19Speaker 3: an eighteen point lead. They completely went to sleep, Thank you.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Paul sky Clark had to do was hold on to
- 44:25Speaker 3: the ball and they cover. He's an eighty eight eighty
- 44:27Speaker 3: seven percent foulew shooter.
- 44:29Speaker 1: There's like five guys in there. Thank you very much
- 44:30Speaker 1: for it's another time. That guy prairie View again. Another
- 44:33Speaker 1: guy said, prairie View and prairie View high Point, prayer View.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Thank you again, Yeah, no, thank you again for high
- 44:39Speaker 1: Point for excellent animals.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Right, go find someone to a preview Lee high.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Right up right, right right right.
- 44:45Speaker 2: I tell that guy to go fuck himself with the UCLA.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Hey, Kevin sty asked this question. You said, this last show,
- 44:51Speaker 1: all handicap is guessing. All all handicap quote unquote is guessing.
- 44:56Speaker 1: I think I think Kevin's taking that differently.
- 45:00Speaker 2: He's taking it too literally.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I think literally, right, That's that's what I'm saying.
- 45:03Speaker 2: You're making educated guesses. How's that educated guess? Yeah, that's better.
- 45:08Speaker 2: That's better. Yeah, because I'm not using a computer.
- 45:11Speaker 3: A computer is more exact, right, it gives you exactly
- 45:14Speaker 3: what your dat are inputs.
- 45:16Speaker 2: I'm winging it.
- 45:19Speaker 3: But winging it can be better because I can have
- 45:22Speaker 3: subconscious thoughts or feelings from memories from twenty years ago,
- 45:27Speaker 3: ten years ago, five years ago of something similar that's one.
- 45:30Speaker 3: And when I'm at best those memories, that's subconscious instinct rules.
- 45:34Speaker 3: It doesn't rule like it once did because there's too
- 45:37Speaker 3: many games and I'm getting old. But yeah, I can
- 45:41Speaker 3: still be computers. I had a very good year this year. Actually,
- 45:44Speaker 3: I'm actually proud of myself. It didn't start well.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Another guy, this guy is a national treasure whoa thank you, Phil.
- 45:52Speaker 3: To saying that I wish I could run the government.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Next guy, we'd fire them all and we'd all keep
- 45:58Speaker 3: our money.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Ed wins Alan had some great said about these games. However,
- 46:02Speaker 1: for whatever reason, he loved your this is I love
- 46:04Speaker 1: your break and I just had a different difference of opinions.
- 46:06Speaker 1: I said, I read it. Uh, he believes that the
- 46:08Speaker 1: IVY League tried to stay pure and fight the ni L.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I think there's nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong about pure
- 46:15Speaker 1: schools in the IVY League the sport, Uh, and sports
- 46:18Speaker 1: would be no different. They do not deserve to be
- 46:21Speaker 1: placed on a pedestal for anything, including their approach the sports. Yeah,
- 46:27Speaker 1: so he's saying, I disagree. He believes that the IVY
- 46:30Speaker 1: League tried to stay pure and fight the n i L.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I disagree. There is nothing wrong with pure. There is
- 46:36Speaker 1: nothing pure about schools in the IVY League, and sports
- 46:39Speaker 1: would be no different. They do not deserve to be
- 46:42Speaker 1: placed on a pedestal for anything, including their approach to sports.
- 46:45Speaker 2: I said they, I said they did. They weren't pure.
- 46:47Speaker 2: I said they should have stayed pure.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Maybe he misunderstood and he loves that they should have
- 46:52Speaker 3: stayed pure, and I'm talking.
- 46:56Speaker 2: I'm talking.
- 46:58Speaker 3: I went to the whole rigamarole the the IVY League
- 47:00Speaker 3: played games on Friday Saturday to minimize loss of school time.
- 47:04Speaker 3: They got away from that. I think that's wrong. They
- 47:07Speaker 3: took a conference tournament to give themselves a little more exposure.
- 47:11Speaker 3: I think that's wrong. So two, those two things alone
- 47:17Speaker 3: have allowed them to lose their purity, which to me
- 47:20Speaker 3: is wrong. I'm not placing the IVY League on a pedestal.
- 47:23Speaker 3: I'm just saying, the IVY League is about education first
- 47:26Speaker 3: and sports second, and you should go one hundred percent
- 47:30Speaker 3: or not at all. And they went somewhere in the middle,
- 47:32Speaker 3: and I think that's wrong. I think it should be
- 47:33Speaker 3: one hundred percent. And yes, they should be placed on
- 47:36Speaker 3: a pedestal if they stayed pure, because college sports isn't
- 47:38Speaker 3: about nil money and allowing teams with the most money
- 47:43Speaker 3: that make the most money for TV contracts to make
- 47:45Speaker 3: the final.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Fours every year.
- 47:47Speaker 3: It's about kids supposedly getting an education and playing for
- 47:50Speaker 3: the love of the game. Of course, that has nothing
- 47:52Speaker 3: to do with it anymore, and the Ivy League should
- 47:55Speaker 3: uphold that, and the Patriot League still does somewhat also,
- 47:58Speaker 3: so I disagree.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I disagree on that showing ties.
- 48:02Speaker 1: This is like right right out of the movie Blow
- 48:05Speaker 1: If people only knew the level Boston was at in
- 48:07Speaker 1: his prime. The guy bought a Ferrari online because he
- 48:11Speaker 1: had no more room for the cash. I don't know
- 48:13Speaker 1: if that's true.
- 48:13Speaker 3: But now it wasn't true. It's me being self destructive
- 48:16Speaker 3: and crazy. Okay, I felt like buying a Ferrari. My
- 48:18Speaker 3: friend found one and we we knocked him down a
- 48:21Speaker 3: little bit and borne along line bought on eBay. My
- 48:24Speaker 3: friend is an insurance aggesser. He knew what he was
- 48:26Speaker 3: looking for. Okay, he said, here's one. You want this,
- 48:28Speaker 3: I said, I'm about sixty something thousand, all right, see
- 48:30Speaker 3: if we can knock him down.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Next to We did, and we bought it. Zachary Well
- 48:34Speaker 1: just had a comment here. Mark Pope can't coach his
- 48:36Speaker 1: way out of a paper bag.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Yeah, that was embarrassing. Yeah, that was really disappointing. I think, uh,
- 48:43Speaker 3: I think Mark Pope did a poor job this year.
- 48:45Speaker 2: I think he's a very good coach.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Is the offense he ran at PYU was very, very
- 48:49Speaker 3: difficult to stop. And he lost his point guard this year,
- 48:53Speaker 3: he lost his other stud recruit.
- 48:54Speaker 2: He dealt with a bunch of injuries this year.
- 48:57Speaker 3: And maybe sometimes when you pay twenty two million for
- 49:00Speaker 3: a team, they're not gonna try to run all this
- 49:03Speaker 3: intricate stuff because they just they just don't care. They
- 49:07Speaker 3: made their money. Whytch, we have to go and take
- 49:09Speaker 3: a class on on basketball. But that being said, he
- 49:12Speaker 3: made very poor adjustments and and it did nothing, and
- 49:15Speaker 3: they looked completely lost in that in that NCAA tournament game.
- 49:18Speaker 2: That was really embarrassing. Cool.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I think we're good. You guys have any questions? You
- 49:22Speaker 1: guys are good?
- 49:23Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, I have absolutely no opinion. I made every
- 49:27Speaker 3: game exactly.
- 49:28Speaker 2: What it is.
- 49:29Speaker 3: I I couldn't even stretch you said that, Yeah, I
- 49:34Speaker 3: made I made I don't even know it was playing
- 49:36Speaker 3: to night, but I made, uh Mitch, I made which
- 49:38Speaker 3: saw I made Tulsa four and a half, and who
- 49:41Speaker 3: else plays? Okay, something moved, maybe something move.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Let me just give let me just tell you what
- 49:46Speaker 1: they are anyway, this way, you got this way, give
- 49:47Speaker 1: me an I to you last week. Yeah you did.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Tulsa is minus four over which I made it four
- 49:52Speaker 1: and a half, New Mexico ten and a half over,
- 49:54Speaker 1: saying Joe's I made it eleven and a half. Okay,
- 49:58Speaker 1: there's elevens on the screen too, and then we're going.
- 50:00Speaker 3: To Yeah, I mean I could see New Mexico killing them.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Saint Jose St John Saint John. Saint Jose was nineteen
- 50:05Speaker 3: down a coluh and New Mexico is just playing at
- 50:09Speaker 3: a really, really high level. They have a legit monster
- 50:11Speaker 3: home court. They have the best coach of the country.
- 50:13Speaker 3: He is he is the number one coach in the country.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Eric Owen, this might be go.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a tricky spot for Saint Jose. So I
- 50:19Speaker 3: guess I could see in New Mexico. Not that I'm
- 50:21Speaker 3: talking about it, I probably go to New Mexico. Okay,
- 50:25Speaker 3: this this is small.
- 50:26Speaker 1: This is probably the biggest move so far of any
- 50:27Speaker 1: of these games. Dayton opened up five and a half
- 50:30Speaker 1: up to seven and a half now over Illinois State.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Yeah, they've been read hot. I made it seven, so
- 50:37Speaker 3: I got nothing there.
- 50:38Speaker 1: And Auburn opened up eight and a half. Now the
- 50:40Speaker 1: nine and a half. I got a nine and a
- 50:41Speaker 1: half yep over Nevada, so there we go.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe New Mexico. I hate Nevaderino.
- 50:46Speaker 3: I'd love to bet against Auburn because they're a ratty
- 50:48Speaker 3: team and the coach is an idiot.
- 50:50Speaker 1: But BETAMGM minus ten and a half Pinnacle minus ten
- 50:53Speaker 1: and a half.
- 50:54Speaker 2: I can't. I can't bet Nevaderino. I just can't do it. Oh,
- 50:57Speaker 2: there you go.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Good deal, good deal. Well, thanks guys, thanks for what
- 51:01Speaker 1: this will be up tonight and appreciate you guys liking subscribing.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Thanks for everyone for showing up and this has been
- 51:06Speaker 3: very flattering. I flew out here. I had no intention
- 51:09Speaker 3: to come out here. I fle out here to do
- 51:10Speaker 3: the meet and greet, and we had a nice.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Crowd out to day. Now for coming out for Bob Anderson.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Bob Anderson, Yeah, Bob Anderson.
- 51:17Speaker 3: Yeah, we're at the Italian American clous crack about dinner
- 51:19Speaker 3: the other night.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Actually, his friend did really nice. Thank you by the
- 51:22Speaker 2: other albums.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Yeah, he went behind my back, he.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Went by the cracks back, and but Crack took care
- 51:27Speaker 3: of the Bob Anderson thing. The older guy there has
- 51:29Speaker 3: been there for fifty years. Yeah, we got you, old school,
- 51:33Speaker 3: I got you.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Give him the money and we're here Alan like listening
- 51:37Speaker 2: to you talk.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Thank thank you very much, very nice.
- 51:40Speaker 2: I appreciate it.
- 51:41Speaker 1: We'll be back in June. Thank you, all right,
