- 0:13Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the Howgrel Energy Podcast.
- 0:17I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is your weekly reminder that it's a
- 0:20new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day if
- 0:23you become the Hawkgirl energy you want to attract. Hello you guys, Happy
- 0:28Tuesday, Happy June. I am so excited to be entering a new month.
- 0:35I feel like June is honestly my favorite month ever, like not even
- 0:38overexaggerating about that. Every time I feel like I enter June, I feel
- 0:44so good. And I think it's because it's officially the first month of summer.
- 0:48Like, yes, May gives us a bit of a hint in terms
- 0:51of like nicer weather, the flowers are blooming. But I feel like June
- 0:54is like, Okay, summer is here, let's go to the beach.
- 0:57Let's book a pizza date night. June is going to be a good month.
- 1:00I can just feel it. I was actually looking back at my camera
- 1:03roll and just like looking back at last summer, in the previous summer,
- 1:07just to see, like, Okay, what did I do in June?
- 1:10Like that was really memorable? And I feel like it's a really good idea
- 1:11up. You're someone that's really wanting just to inspire yourself from things that you
- 1:15may have done in the past where you're like, oh, crap, I
- 1:18haven't done that a long time, Like I should do that. So I
- 1:21was looking back and I was just looking at my June last year and just
- 1:26looked like I had such an amazing month. I did a lot of fun
- 1:27things. I was really just booked and busy, you know, planning dates
- 1:30with Zach, doing fun activities like golfing all that, Like just getting into
- 1:34some hobbies, playing some sports, all that. So I really enjoyed looking
- 1:38back at that because it really made me realize, like, what am I
- 1:41going to do this June. I want to go on a date night with
- 1:42Zach and the beach. I want to you know, go golfing with my
- 1:46friends, like just kind of setting up some plans and all that for this
- 1:49month. Because summer is short. So if you need some inspo for some
- 1:53summer ideas, I did do a summer bucket list episode. It's called The
- 1:57Hawkrel Summer Loading, So it just gives you, guys some inspo in case
- 2:00you need some inspo for your summer bucket list. But yeah, I'm excited
- 2:06for June. I think it's gonna be a great month, and I know
- 2:07it's going to be a great month for you guys as well. In this
- 2:09episode, I kind of wanted to make it a bit of a chit chat
- 2:13episode. I wanted to talk about my monthly goals because that is something that
- 2:15I have not done in a hot minute. You guys know that I used
- 2:20to do this every time we entered a new month. Every episode at the
- 2:23beginning of the month, I would talk about my goals for June, and
- 2:27I haven't done it in a long time, or sorry, my goals per
- 2:29month, but this is for a June episode. But I'd always talk about
- 2:32my new goals for each month, and I thought, you know what,
- 2:35we need to bring that back because I thought, you know what, it's
- 2:37very motivating. It gives people ideas in terms of what they want to set
- 2:39themselves up for for the month, any goals, anything that's going to motivate
- 2:44them to continue to work on themselves and become the best version of themselves.
- 2:49So I really hope to bring this back for July and August and September and
- 2:53the rest of the year. But we are making a comeback on that,
- 2:54so we're going to be talking about my goals for June. I also wanted
- 2:59to get a little bit real with you guys because your girl has been struggling
- 3:05with her anxiety shocking. So I made a post on my Instagram story.
- 3:09I want to say, almost a week ago. I guess was really not
- 3:14having a good week last week, like mentally just not good. Just a
- 3:17lot of anxiety happening, And I do think it has a small factor to
- 3:23play with the wedding and work has been a little overwhelming because I've been accepting
- 3:29more work just because of the wedding, and then honestly just some personal stuff.
- 3:35So anyways, the anxiety has been high, and you know, I
- 3:39just wanted to make a post because you know, I'm posting content obviously,
- 3:45and of course people might think, oh my god, she has the most
- 3:46perfect life. She's so happy, like life is good. It's like,
- 3:50no, let's be real here, like not every day is like that.
- 3:53I don't want to say like I'm faking it. I'm obviously like happy some
- 3:55days, but then there's sometimes where you know, the anxiety hit and it's
- 4:00not good. Just know that no one's life is perfect. And everyone has
- 4:03their own daily struggles, and I just wanted to be open and honest about
- 4:05that because I don't want people to think that everything is, you know,
- 4:10perfect and pretty and all that here. Like obviously, I have my own
- 4:14struggles, and I think everybody has their own struggles, and I'd rather be
- 4:15open about it than not say anything at all, and to be fully transparent.
- 4:20I tried to record a YouTube video literally on Friday, and I broke
- 4:26down crying in the video, like I have never done that ever, and
- 4:30I just think, I don't know. It was almost like I just was
- 4:32having a moment where my anxiety was so bad that it's almo that I had
- 4:35to let those tears out, you know, when you're holding something back and
- 4:40you didn't have a good cry, Like I felt like I needed to have
- 4:42a good cry. So that was shocking. Was not expecting to fully break
- 4:46down into tears just talking about my anxiety on YouTube and all that. So
- 4:50anyways, it's real, and I think it's important that we talk about it
- 4:55because everyone has their own struggles. As I said, but I really wanted
- 4:59to talk about just like balance in life in general, when it comes to
- 5:01your work life, your fitness life, just how to balance everything that you're
- 5:06able to do for yourself in order to make sure that you are becoming your
- 5:12best self. So how are we going to manage our work life with our
- 5:15fitness life and all that. So I want to talk about that even relationships
- 5:18like keeping that in check. And then another thing is just managing stress.
- 5:23So what am I doing to manage my stress during this very stressful time for
- 5:28me personally? There might be people now currently who are going through a really
- 5:31big promotion with their job or exam season, anything like that. So I
- 5:34thought I would just share some tips that have been working for me because I
- 5:40have been planning a wedding, and if you're planning a wedding, you get
- 5:42it. Things have been extremely stressful, So I thought I would share some
- 5:45things that I've been trying to prioritize to help manage my stress. So let's
- 5:49first talk about June and the goals that I've set for myself for June.
- 5:55So one thing that I have set for myself is getting ten case downs daily.
- 6:00So I am trying to go on a Hawk Girl walk as my coffee
- 6:04hour walk, so instead of me sitting on my couch drinking my coffee while
- 6:09I'm on my phone probably just scrolling, which is considered work for me right
- 6:13because I need to be up to date on the trends and what's happening on
- 6:16social media all that. Instead of doing that, I'm stepping outside with my
- 6:20to go coffee cup and I'm walking for an hour and I'm usually listening to
- 6:25a podcast. And for me, I feel like that has been really really
- 6:29good starting off June. Like, we're only four days in and I've only
- 6:31done it for four days consistently, but I feel like my energy levels have
- 6:34been much better coming back into the house after that, I feel like I
- 6:38want to get shit done. I want to be productive. I don't know,
- 6:41there's just something that has been hitting really really nicely. I don't know
- 6:45how to explain it, but getting those steps in more than I usually do
- 6:48has just been a really really big game changer. So if you're someone like
- 6:51me that's been doing, you know, twenty to thirty minute walks daily,
- 6:55try and increase it to an hour. I've been trying to either do two
- 7:00eve minute walks a day or just a straight hour of walking. Today I
- 7:02did a straight hour of walking, and it felt so nice. I have
- 7:05the most beautiful trail right by my house and it's the most enjoyable thing to
- 7:10walk around. I love it so so much. So I think it's just
- 7:13been nice to get some fresh air before I start my day, and as
- 7:15soon as I get back, I get work done and I feel so much
- 7:17better. So I'm trying to hit ten k steps a day. So if
- 7:21you want to join this challenge with me for June, let's do it.
- 7:25We're gonna hit it every single day. It's honestly not that hard. I
- 7:28thought it was going to be hard, but it's really not that bad.
- 7:30And as I said, I feel like my energy has been so good lately,
- 7:34and people have even messaged me saying like, I don't know what's up,
- 7:38but your energy has been great. I'm like, wow, thank you.
- 7:40Like I've been walking more, that's really it. But it feels really
- 7:45good just to be outside more, and probably the sunshine has just been really
- 7:47nice for my energy levels as well. So that is one goal for June.
- 7:51Another goal is doing more hobbies. So I was looking back on my
- 7:56camera, as I said, and I felt like I was doing more things,
- 8:00like I was golfing, I was playing pickleball all that. Zach and
- 8:03I actually played pickleball with our couple friend two weeks ago and it was so
- 8:07fun. I sucked because I haven't played in a year, but it was
- 8:11nice to get back on the court and play with another couple. But Zach
- 8:16was like, let's go golfing this week, Like, you haven't golfed yet
- 8:18this season, so I think we're going to do nighttime golf at a golf
- 8:22course close by. And you know, I'm trying things out of my comfort
- 8:26zone. I'm not the best golfer, but you just got to get there,
- 8:28and you just got to try, and you just got to remember that
- 8:31it's for fun. I think it's just because I'm such a competitive person that
- 8:33I hate sucking at something. So when I'm golfing or when I'm playing pickleball
- 8:37and I suck, I get a little too competitive. So anyways, I
- 8:41know that it takes time. You need to practice, you need to be
- 8:45doing it, you know more than just once. You got to be consistent,
- 8:48and that's what makes you good. So I'm trying my best. But
- 8:50yeah, I definitely want to be golfing more and just doing more fun activities.
- 8:56I've been also really wanting to do a wine and paint night with my
- 8:58girlfriend or with Zach. I think it'd be super fun. So yeah,
- 9:03just being more involved with hobbies this summer is my goal, doing more fun
- 9:07things, just yeah, getting out of the house and really making the summer
- 9:11memorable. The last thing that I have as a goal for June is getting
- 9:18back into my journaling routine. I am not going to lie. I kind
- 9:22of fell off my journal routine, which it's okay, it's okay to do
- 9:28that. I feel like I was traveling a lot at the beginning of this
- 9:31year, and I feel like being in and out of routine really started to
- 9:35mess up with my head, and I would just kind of like put certain
- 9:39tasks aside where it's like, Okay, well I don't have time to journal,
- 9:41I got to get work done, or you know, I would just
- 9:43make excuses up. So I've been getting back into it. I've been trying
- 9:46to include it into my routine at a later time. I think sometimes you
- 9:52have to make adjustments in your routine because it's always changing. You always want
- 9:56to make changes to it. You kind of have to readjust it and figure
- 9:58out something new that's to work for you in that current period of time.
- 10:01So I feel like since I've been back from my last trip, things were
- 10:05definitely different. I feel like I have been working out more, which is
- 10:11not a bad thing. I've just been really trying to prioritize that, but
- 10:13I really have to like work around this new kind of routine and try and
- 10:16add my journaling routine at a different time during the day. So I've been
- 10:20getting back into it. It feels really good to get back into it writing
- 10:22in my journal for the first time in the beginning of June. It felt
- 10:24like a fresh start and it felt nice just to yeah, be back in
- 10:30the journaling routine. So those are three goals that I have for June right
- 10:33now. Again, there are three small ones, but it's still something that
- 10:37I'm always working towards. But I feel like these goals are so important to
- 10:39have each month because it's little reminders and little ways to motivate yourself to really
- 10:46go back at focusing on yourself and becoming your best version of yourself. So
- 10:50this is your sign that if you haven't made goals for June, you should
- 10:54do so, because I think it's a great motivator and honestly, I feel
- 10:56like, we'll just make your mindset so much different. Okay, the next
- 11:00thing we want to talk about is just balance life balance in general, your
- 11:03work life, your fitness life, your life with your partner, anything like
- 11:07that. We're trying to figure out, Okay, what are our priorities in
- 11:11life? Personally? For me, it's my job, my fitness, and
- 11:16spending time with my partner along with my family and friends. Those are the
- 11:18three things that I prioritize every single day. I want to make sure that
- 11:22I'm spending tenasak. I want to make sure I'm getting at least, you
- 11:26know, sixty eight hours of work done per day, and getting at least
- 11:28an hour a movement each day. It's a little bit different with my situation
- 11:31because my job really doesn't have a specific timeframe when it comes to how much
- 11:39hours I work in a day. There could be days where I work ten
- 11:41hours. There could be a day where I work four hours. It really
- 11:45just depends, and to be honest, there's some pros and cons to that.
- 11:48Of course, I love being able to be very flexible and be able
- 11:50to make my own hours and control everything that's happening within the day. But
- 11:56I know not everybody has a luxury of that. Right, There's people that
- 11:58work a nine to five or an eight to five or seven to three or
- 12:01whatever it is. Everybody has their own schedule. But I think what works
- 12:05for certain people is that you need to take time out of your day,
- 12:09whether it's a sixty minute or a ninety minute session within your day and fully
- 12:15just dedicate that sixty minute to ninety minutes of doing things for yourself. Whether
- 12:20it's I want to get a workout in, I want a meal prep,
- 12:22I want to spend time with my partner, whatever it is. Everybody has
- 12:28sixty to ninety minutes within their day after their work or before their work.
- 12:31It truly plays a big factor in your mindset. This allows you to know,
- 12:35Okay, what do I want to actually do. Of course, work
- 12:39as a priority. Everybody has to work, you have to pay your bills.
- 12:41It is what it is. But you can focus on the things that
- 12:45you want to focus on yourself within your day. There's no excuses. You
- 12:48either have time in the morning or you have time in the evening, and
- 12:50you need to actually shift your mindset and dedicate the time to focusing on yourself.
- 12:56One thing that I love to do when it comes to these kind of
- 12:58things, is set reminders. It's almost like I had a meeting. Okay,
- 13:01I'm scheduling sixty minutes at my lunch break to meal prep and do my
- 13:05weekly reset, right Like I love to go get my groceries done, prep
- 13:09my food, do my grain juice. Is all that doing all that takes
- 13:13me honestly probably an hour and a half, but that I want to do
- 13:16every single Monday because I want to dedicate my time to doing that. That
- 13:20way, it makes things easier throughout the week. I love being able to
- 13:24have my grain juices already ready in the fridge. I love to also have
- 13:26you know, all my fruit and vegetables cleaned and prepped. That way,
- 13:30it's easy to make lunch or easy to make my breakfast or dinner. Doing
- 13:33those things makes my week or day a little bit easier. So spending that
- 13:37time doing it on a Monday makes my week a little bit less stressful.
- 13:43But it also allows me to get the shit done that I have to get
- 13:46done throughout my Monday during my work week. So it's all about managing your
- 13:48time. It's almost like a non negotiable task that you have to get done
- 13:52throughout that day. So whether you want to get a workout in, put
- 13:54a reminder on your phone saying you're going to do a plate's workout at six
- 13:58pm, book a workout class, or dedicate time in your home to do
- 14:01a workout, plain and simple. Set that reminder and allows you to actually
- 14:05get that shit done and it gets you to be productive. I know it
- 14:07sounds crazy, but setting those reminders truly makes a huge difference in my opinion.
- 14:11Like I'm not even kidding, I have a reminder set for every single
- 14:15day. Like I literally am like constantly setting reminders because it allows me to
- 14:20a remember what I have to get done, be allows me to be productive,
- 14:22and again just allows me to get those non negotiable tasks done that I
- 14:26have to get done. So if you're the kind of person that wants to
- 14:30be on top of ship, be organized all that, set that reminder.
- 14:33So we've figured out our priorities and how we're going to manage our time,
- 14:37and now let's talk about setting boundaries. One thing for me when it comes
- 14:41to setting boundaries is I need to stay off my phone more. I am
- 14:46constantly scrolling on social media, and yes, it plays a part in my
- 14:50job but do I really need to be scrolling for two hours before bed?
- 14:54Probably not. So I'm trying to create that boundary where I'm trying to,
- 14:58you know, spend time with by not going on my phone for those last
- 15:01two hours of the day, by chatting with him, asking how his day
- 15:05was all that. So creating that boundary by saying, Okay, you're not
- 15:09going to go on your phone for that last hour, last two hours of
- 15:11the day, and you're going to spend the time with Zach by you know,
- 15:15talking about his day all that, Like that is setting that boundary to
- 15:18allow me to prioritize spending time with my partner. So I think you need
- 15:22to evaluate, Okay, what are the boundaries that I need to set within
- 15:24my work day or within my day to day and figure out what's going to
- 15:28allow you to create that balance for the things that you need to prioritize in
- 15:33your life. Another thing when it comes to balancing your overall life is identify
- 15:37activities that give you energy. So I feel like I kind of explain this
- 15:41one for myself. But walking outside longer and just moving my body a bit
- 15:46more has made me realize that it really feeds my energy, Like it just
- 15:50makes me feel so good. I feel more productive when I get back.
- 15:52I find going on walks allows me to clear my head that way, when
- 15:54I come back, it's like a fresh start. Okay, what's the next
- 15:58task, what do I have to do? So take these little breaks and
- 16:00doing little activities like walking or you know, just leaving your office to go
- 16:07get lunch or whatever. It is like it's allowing you to clear your head,
- 16:10come back and get back into a productive routine. This could also include
- 16:15just a workout class you can book it on your lunch break, or as
- 16:17I said, going on walks, any kind of workout, anything like that.
- 16:19I feel like movement is a huge part whenever you need to feed your
- 16:25energy, and I feel like taking that break from the office or your work
- 16:27shift, anything like that, stepping outside, going outside, just getting some
- 16:32fresh air coming back. It makes a huge difference. If you're someone that's
- 16:34wanting to prioritize their fitness and really focus on that work life balance, allow
- 16:40yourself to take sixty minutes out of your day by stepping aside, getting a
- 16:45workout or walk in any kind of movement, and then getting back into your
- 16:48work schedule. If this doesn't work for you because you work a nine to
- 16:51five and you can't do it, you know, part way through your day,
- 16:52that's okay. Find time in the morning before you start your day,
- 16:56or maybe after work. Some people love to do evening workouts and that works
- 17:00for them. So again, it's just dedicating that sixty to ninety minute time
- 17:04slot within your day to get the shit that you want to get done.
- 17:07All right, let's talk about stress. I have so much stress, but
- 17:15we're working on it. Not gonna say my life is perfect right now,
- 17:18because it definitely isn't. But everybody has their own way of coping with their
- 17:22stress. One thing for me that honestly helps me a lot through my stressful
- 17:26periods, whatever it is when it comes to work or planning the wedding or
- 17:32anything like that, Like, I personally need to talk to someone. So
- 17:36maybe you don't have a therapist, call your mom, call your sister,
- 17:38call your partner, called your best friend, talk to someone about what you're
- 17:42dealing with, what's causing this stress. I personally find they're able to give
- 17:47their advice and it makes me feel more calm about the situation. So it's
- 17:51nice to be able to have someone that you can rely on to help you
- 17:55calm down, find ways to manage that stress that you're going through. Like
- 18:00this is so important to talk to someone. If you're just holding that information
- 18:03in and you're just overly thinking about it, you're going to overthink, You're
- 18:04going to overstress, You're just going to cause the anxiety. So talk to
- 18:10someone. Calm your body down, find someone that you can talk it out
- 18:12with. It makes a huge, huge difference when you're able to talk it
- 18:17out with someone. Another thing is practicing your breath work. I have been
- 18:21trying to meditate for so long, you guys know, I try and do
- 18:23it at least once or twice a week. I do not do it daily.
- 18:26Just doesn't work for me. So something that I'm always trying to do
- 18:30is just really focus on my breathing. And sometimes this can be done not
- 18:33just during a meditation session. You can do this while you're in the car,
- 18:37or you know, while you're in your hot tub or your shower or
- 18:41whatever it is, Like, find five minutes out of your day, or
- 18:44could just be sitting on your couch while you're watching TV. Just shut your
- 18:47eyes practice your breath work. I find putting my hand on my chest and
- 18:51my stomach and really seeing how my breathwork is done by knowing, Okay,
- 18:56I'm breathing in, you can feel it in my chest. When I breathe
- 18:57out, I'm feeling it in my stomach. So doing that has been really
- 19:02really helpful. I also love that a lot of my workout classes that I
- 19:04go to they actually include this at the end of the session where you spend
- 19:10five minutes strictly just on breath work, and has really really helped my body
- 19:14calm down. And yeah, so fine. Five minutes out of your day
- 19:18to focus on your breath work. Whether it's during a meditation session, after
- 19:22a workout class, as I said, doing it in your shower or your
- 19:26car, it really allows you to stay in control and allows you to calm
- 19:30your body down. Another thing when it comes to stress is limiting your caffeine.
- 19:34I have one coffee a day and that is it. I could not
- 19:37have any more. If I have too much more, I will be so
- 19:41anxious throughout the day. Probably should be having decaf, to be honest,
- 19:45my sister strictly just has decaf because her anxiety is really really bad. So
- 19:49honestly, I probably could remove caffeine from my life completely. But I do
- 19:53not drink any energy drinks or anything else with caffeine in it. All my
- 19:57t's are caffeine free, so I try to remove caffeine from my life completely
- 20:03except for coffee. Even though there is obviously decaff coffee that you can find,
- 20:06I just prefer the taste of regular caffeine. I try and do decaf
- 20:11coffee like ever so often throughout the week, so maybe it's you know,
- 20:14once a week, twice a week. I try my best, but it
- 20:15just doesn't taste the same. In my opinion, I think at the end
- 20:18of the day, if you're able to control your caffeine intake, I do
- 20:22think it will play a huge difference in your anxiety levels, in your stress
- 20:26levels. All that, and also make sure you're not drinking caffeine with an
- 20:30empty stomach. I always, always, always say that you should be drinking
- 20:33caffeine at least two hours after you eat breakfast. At least That's what I've
- 20:37learned through my own research. So I always have my breakfast as soon as
- 20:41I wake up, and then two hours later I usually have my iced coffee.
- 20:45So just note that, because I personally think there plays a huge factor
- 20:48in your anxiety from having caffeine as soon as you wake up, and that
- 20:52is just not good. So if you can try and change that habit,
- 20:57I do think it would make a huge difference. Just something to think about.
- 21:00If you're someone that's dealing with any stress or anxiety and you have a
- 21:06coffee first thing in the morning before breakfast, really reevaluate that because it could
- 21:08really really help you out. But yeah, just try and limit your caffeine.
- 21:12And also apparently this is again based on what I've searched, you shouldn't
- 21:17have caffeine six hours prior to going to bed, So that's like, don't
- 21:22be drinking coffee past three pm or else you will not be having a good
- 21:25night sleep. So I personally don't have any caffeine past noon. Like that
- 21:30is like my cap I do not drink any caffeine afternoon because I will not
- 21:34sleep. So just keep that in mind. Talking about sleep makes me think
- 21:38of prioritizing your sleep routine because that plays a huge factor in your stress.
- 21:44If you have a non consistent sleeping routine, you will be stressed and you
- 21:48will be anxious, like not gonna lie, like if you're you know,
- 21:52waking up some mornings at six am or eight am and then going to bed
- 21:56at like eleven pm or twelve am. Like, you don't have a consistent
- 22:00flow, your body is going to be like, what the heck are you
- 22:03doing to yourself? You need to create a routine. So personally, for
- 22:07me, I have my Hatch alarm clock. You guys know how much I
- 22:08love that alarm clock. It has completely changed the game for my routine.
- 22:14I love being able to have the app and create my daily wake up call,
- 22:18which is six forty five usually, and then I go to bed at
- 22:23ten o'clock and then I have my white noise all set up all that and
- 22:26then I wake up to I think it's like birds chirping or something like that.
- 22:30But it consistently happens at those times six forty five ten pm, six
- 22:34forty five ten pm. The only time when it's not consistent might be on
- 22:37a Friday or Saturday night because it's the weekend. But other than that,
- 22:41from Monday to Friday, it is pretty consistent. So make it a priority
- 22:45to really re evaluate your sleep schedule. Maybe invest in a good alarm clock,
- 22:51or set up the time around your phone. Really just focus on the
- 22:55timing of when you're going to sleep and when you're waking up, because I
- 22:56truly feel like it makes a huge difference in my life, and prioritizing your
- 23:02sleep is just so big. Like you'll know that if you're up till three
- 23:06am, let's say one night, and you wake up at eight am the
- 23:08next day, I'm sure you're a feeling like shit and be your bodies like,
- 23:11what the heck did you do to yourself? Like why did you do
- 23:15that? The days where I have a good rest, I feel the most
- 23:18energized, the most productive, the best I usually feel. Where's the days
- 23:22where I've only slept like five to six hours? My days are literally shit,
- 23:26and I'm anxious, I'm stressed all that, So make sure to prioritize
- 23:30your sleep schedule. Something we already talked about, which was managing sixty to
- 23:33ninety minutes out of your day to focus on something that you're doing for yourself.
- 23:37This could also play a huge factor in managing your stress. So focusing
- 23:41on one task at a time, and it could be something different every single
- 23:45day that allows you to get shit done. So for an example, for
- 23:49me personally, I've been really stressed out about wedding stuff. Right, We've
- 23:53actively been meeting with our wedding planners I would say at least three times a
- 23:56week, and there's so much that we have to get done now that we're
- 24:00getting closer to the date. So every day I've been spending one hour in
- 24:03my morning and one hour at night to focus on wedding stuff, whether it's
- 24:07like the invites or the floral details, anything like that, going on pinteres
- 24:11to find inspo for certain things. I've been taking one hour of my time
- 24:15just to focus on wedding details and then oh, let's get back to work
- 24:18and do everything we need to do. So think about something that might be
- 24:21stressing you out and dedicate time throughout your day somehow. Again, set a
- 24:25reminder. These reminders will really help you out, guys, and do that
- 24:29for yourself. So whether it's fitness related, whatever's causing the stress, dedicate
- 24:33sixty minutes to getting what you need to get done and it will just make
- 24:37things a little bit less stressful. Lastly, again we kind of already talked
- 24:40about this, but just managing your social media time. Try and stay off
- 24:44your phone whenever you can, specifically at night. I feel like an hour
- 24:47before bedtime. You don't need to be on your phone. Just enjoy that
- 24:49hour, either reading or maybe it's watching your favorite TV show with your partner,
- 24:53anything like that. Just really try and zone out social media and just
- 24:57focus on and the rest. You really want to unwind, relax strictly before
- 25:03you go to bed. I think it's so important, and again, I
- 25:04think it plays a huge factor in your stress levels as well. So I
- 25:08hope this episode helps you out if you're someone that's been dealing with a lot
