- 0:25SPEAKER_00: Todd, Vale, and Lummox are putting down the beer and revealing their favorite non-alcoholic drinks.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Tonight we tackle the questions that could tear friendships apart.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Are you who and chocolate milk actually in the same category?
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: What drinks belong among the all-time greats?
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: And what happens when Todd reveals his number one pick?
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Only to discover that both Vale and Lummox left it off their top five lists entirely.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Grab a drink.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Apparently it doesn't have to be beer, and get ready for another episode of Duh It Down.
- 0:59SPEAKER_04: Hello, Donation.
- 1:01SPEAKER_04: Welcome back to the Duh Down Show.
- 1:04SPEAKER_04: Here with Todd and Vail, like always.
- 1:07SPEAKER_04: Gentlemen, we ready for tonight?
- 1:10SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 1:11SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we are ready.
- 1:14SPEAKER_04: So just to let Donation know, we will get to the drink here in a second, but we're going to do something a little different tonight.
- 1:20SPEAKER_04: A little something out of left field that you might not expect from the Dut Down show.
- 1:24SPEAKER_04: We will get to that momentarily.
- 1:26SPEAKER_04: But Todd, I believe you're doing a beverage for us tonight.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and since um we are doing a special on non-alcoholic drinks, our favorite, I am going to break off and break protocol and give us my number four favorite drink, non-alcoholic drink, and it is cheerwine soda pop.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: It's delicious.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: My favorite soda.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I like it, and I'm going to take a sip of it right now.
- 2:00SPEAKER_04: Man, look at him pound that non-alcoholic drink.
- 2:03SPEAKER_04: Pound that.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, so good.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: So good.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Get out of here.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Let me do a shot of vodka real quick.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: To rinse it down.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: Yes, so that's my number four favorite non-alcoholic drink of all times.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: What's that?
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: What's it taste like?
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: But I don't think I've ever had it.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: You never had it.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Lummox, have you ever had it?
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: Because it's down by the way.
- 2:31SPEAKER_04: I have tried it, but it has not grown on me yet.
- 2:34SPEAKER_04: I'm not a not a super fan of it yet.
- 2:37SPEAKER_04: I guess I gotta try it some more.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: It is uh like a cherry flavored soda, but no not cola style, just a cherry soda.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Delicious.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: There's no carbonation in it?
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: There's carbonation in it.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: It's just in the bottle, there's not that much.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: Ah.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: So you're just drinking cherry juice.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Cherry soda, basically.
- 3:00SPEAKER_04: Cherry juice.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Cherry juice soda, yes.
- 3:04SPEAKER_04: Well, he would probably drink the the what the candy cherries because it has alcohol in it, right?
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Yes, I love those two.
- 3:12SPEAKER_04: Figured.
- 3:13SPEAKER_04: So there you have it, Dun Nation.
- 3:15SPEAKER_04: Todd, let it let the cat out of the out of the hat there, that out of the bag.
- 3:19SPEAKER_04: Tonight we are not discussing our favorite alcoholic drinks.
- 3:24SPEAKER_04: We're discussing our favorite non-alcoholic drinks.
- 3:28SPEAKER_04: And I'm gonna have to admit this was harder than I thought.
- 3:31SPEAKER_04: I started going down the list.
- 3:32SPEAKER_04: I'm like, man, am I just an alcoholic?
- 3:34SPEAKER_04: Well, I don't know what else do I drink.
- 3:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: But then they started coming to me.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: And of course, me, I was flowing.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: I got them.
- 3:45SPEAKER_04: So uh one one one uh one I guess clarification.
- 3:48SPEAKER_04: We're not gonna sit there and just say like soda, right?
- 3:50SPEAKER_04: We're gonna actually, if you have something, you're gonna say what it is.
- 3:53SPEAKER_04: So like there's a difference between a Coke and a Pepsi or an RC Cola or something like that, right?
- 3:58SPEAKER_03: Where okay, all right, just making sure.
- 4:00SPEAKER_03: Yes, I am pretty uh in tune to mine.
- 4:05SPEAKER_04: I was gonna say, I'm I'm sure you're pretty pretty soda heavy.
- 4:09SPEAKER_03: Uh you'll have to wait and see, Lummox, whether I like sodas as much as you think I do.
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 4:15SPEAKER_04: I can't wait.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: I do have an update though.
- 4:19SPEAKER_03: Oh, update time, ding ding ding.
- 4:21SPEAKER_03: I I have an update.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: Went to Walmart today.
- 4:25SPEAKER_03: No Cadbury Halloween stuff out.
- 4:28SPEAKER_03: So sorry to say, like it's nothing out yet, but I'll keep looking.
- 4:32SPEAKER_03: You never know when they're gonna pop up somewhere.
- 4:35SPEAKER_03: However, they did have the monster cereals.
- 4:39SPEAKER_03: Oh, I bought one of each.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: And you finished them already.
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: No.
- 4:45SPEAKER_03: I had our our team mascot today.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: I had Frankenberry.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: And Frankenberry is actually different than it used to be.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's different.
- 4:56SPEAKER_03: So remember it used to be bright pink, now it's a darker color pink, and it has a little more strawberry flavoring in there.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: So I like this one better, this this new thing here.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: Uh, and of course, it still does turn the milk milk uh pink and strawberry milk flavor as you're drinking it.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: So I did partake in the seasonal dish today, this morning, and I had Frankenberry.
- 5:25SPEAKER_03: So there you go, listeners.
- 5:27SPEAKER_03: I haven't tried the other two.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: I'll update you on later uh podcasts when I try those to see if those tastes are a little different.
- 5:35SPEAKER_03: But Frankenberry is definitely different than they used than it used to be.
- 5:39SPEAKER_04: But you found them at Walmart.
- 5:41SPEAKER_03: Walmart has them, yes.
- 5:43SPEAKER_04: All right, and how much for a box of cereal?
- 5:46SPEAKER_03: So I'll say this the sign said 449 or something per box or 489 or something, I don't know.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: But when I was ringing them in, it came up 337 each.
- 6:01SPEAKER_03: You should have gone back and bought some more.
- 6:02SPEAKER_03: I know, but you know, I was in one of those giant Walmarts and it was all the way on the other side where the Halloween candy was.
- 6:08SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I'm not walking over there.
- 6:10SPEAKER_03: That's too far away.
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: That's too far.
- 6:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm like, forget that.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: And those big supermarkets like that, that's like two blocks.
- 6:18SPEAKER_04: So that is yeah, you might you might have to call an Uber.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: Oh, funny.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: I can't wait for the booberry and then especially the next day update.
- 6:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the afterberry.
- 6:32SPEAKER_03: My my daughter did have the booberry today, and she said it was fantastic.
- 6:36SPEAKER_03: Oh, nice.
- 6:37SPEAKER_04: All right.
- 6:37SPEAKER_04: Well, then I guess I will have to traverse over to a Walmart to see if I can find them because I have not found them yet, and I'm still disappointed that we don't have any uh Cadbury Halloween eggs out yet.
- 6:47SPEAKER_03: Yes, they did.
- 6:48SPEAKER_03: They they are not out there, but I can tell you a lot of the other uh candies are getting into it.
- 6:55SPEAKER_03: So I saw like Twix with like green goo in it now, so I guess it's like green caramel Snickers.
- 7:02SPEAKER_04: And for clarification, does a green Twix, for Todd's edification, does a green Twix taste different than a regular Twix?
- 7:09SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: I didn't buy them.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: I almost did, though.
- 7:11SPEAKER_03: I should have we may have to do a field test.
- 7:13SPEAKER_03: Three million.
- 7:14SPEAKER_03: All right, so we'll do that.
- 7:15SPEAKER_03: I'll I'll when I go back to get the cereals, I'll get some of these uh crazier looking things because they got a bunch of like monster booger things that are like candy.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: So I'll maybe I'll try, I'll get a couple different ones of those, and then we can uh we could do those more towards uh Halloween, get some people uh up on some of these uh candies that are actually out there for Halloween.
- 7:41SPEAKER_04: Gotcha.
- 7:42SPEAKER_04: I like it.
- 7:43SPEAKER_04: All right, good update there, Bill.
- 7:45SPEAKER_04: Any and any other audits or anything that we have to cover?
- 7:48SPEAKER_04: Or are you you're up to date?
- 7:50SPEAKER_03: Nope, we're pretty much up to date on the audits.
- 7:52SPEAKER_03: We're we're good.
- 7:54SPEAKER_04: Perfect.
- 7:55SPEAKER_04: All right, so Todd has already gone with his number four.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: Remind the audience again, Todd, which number four was uh a cheer wine, uh a soda, it's a cherry soda, and I am going to Ven this too.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: Will we then?
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: Is the next question.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna say no.
- 8:16SPEAKER_04: I say no.
- 8:17SPEAKER_04: I say not a legit three-way in the top five then.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: Ven.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: I say there might be one that we all have.
- 8:27SPEAKER_04: Well, it's either yes or no.
- 8:28SPEAKER_04: You can't play Mike's yes, yeah.
- 8:30SPEAKER_04: Okay, um, I think there's a distinct possibility of a chance that we could sometime in the future have a have a Ven somewhere.
- 8:37SPEAKER_04: You can't say that Todd, it's either yes or not.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: I think Lummox and I are gonna have one VIN, but Todd won't be on that one.
- 8:46SPEAKER_03: And I think Todd and I are gonna have a VIN, but Lummox won't be on that one.
- 8:50SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay.
- 8:51SPEAKER_04: He's getting even more specific.
- 8:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because I know these exact products, so I gotta assume he gave it some real thought.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 9:01SPEAKER_01: I I did.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 9:03SPEAKER_04: And one other point of clarification non-alcoholic beer does not count, right?
- 9:09SPEAKER_04: That's that's we're not counting that as anything, right?
- 9:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, we could count that.
- 9:14SPEAKER_04: Are you gonna count that?
- 9:15SPEAKER_04: Well, I guess it's fine, but I don't I don't I don't drink non-alcoholic beer.
- 9:18SPEAKER_04: There's no point to it.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: I think I have a challenge up, but I've never drank it before without a shot of vodka in it.
- 9:26SPEAKER_03: Right, to add something to it, make it worth your while.
- 9:30SPEAKER_03: You you guys may have done this, but I did not.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: I did not put anything on there like milkshakes because I think more of those as dessert than a non-alcoholic drink.
- 9:39SPEAKER_04: So I I did not do milkshakes, and I'll just say now I didn't do like virgin style of drinks, like I didn't say a virgin strawberry daiquiri, a, because I didn't think it was right to B, because I don't drink that stuff.
- 9:54SPEAKER_04: So there you go.
- 9:55SPEAKER_03: It's not alcohol, why?
- 9:57SPEAKER_03: You need a daiquiri with a 151 floater.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:02SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 10:04SPEAKER_04: All right, so I guess I will kick it off here.
- 10:06SPEAKER_04: I will start at my number five.
- 10:08SPEAKER_04: I know Todd broke protocol and started his number four.
- 10:11SPEAKER_04: I will start at my number five, and this is Orange Gatorade.
- 10:17SPEAKER_04: Even though I don't necessarily work out non-stop and have a need to replenish those electrolytes, I still we have it every now and we got it later on the house, and that I do like drinking that.
- 10:31SPEAKER_04: So I debated between the orange and the red, but I like the orange more.
- 10:35SPEAKER_04: Orange, get orange gator aid for me at number five.
- 10:38SPEAKER_03: No, no, gator load.
- 10:40SPEAKER_04: No, I I I have not had Gator Load or Gator Pro in probably what is it going on now?
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: 30 years, and I will never explain to the listeners what Gator Load Gator Pro is, because they many of them probably don't have no idea.
- 10:57SPEAKER_04: So so back in the mid-90s, when all these, I guess, new sort of training drinks and things were coming out, you had your original Gatorade, but they thought it'd be smart if they were to make sort of a milkshake consistent gator product that was supposed to give you all the essentials you needed to go out and practice hard on the field.
- 11:24SPEAKER_04: What they failed to realize was slamming a gigantic chocolate milkshake before you go in the field and run around in 100 degree heat wasn't the best thing for your stomach.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: And smelling bacon the whole time.
- 11:39SPEAKER_04: Well, and like that you you work next, you play next to a bacon factory uh where we did.
- 11:45SPEAKER_04: But so imagine you're gonna go out, you've got a football practice, you got lacrosse practice, you got soccer practice, you know, something, and you're in camp where you probably have two a days, or at least back then we had two a days, and I don't think they do anymore these days, and you're all geared up, you're ready to go, you're already sweating because it's hot out there, and your trainer goes, Don't forget to drink your gator load.
- 12:04SPEAKER_04: Uh and they actually watch you and they are they're checking the box.
- 12:08SPEAKER_04: Lummox, did you drink your gator load today?
- 12:10SPEAKER_04: Yes, I did.
- 12:10SPEAKER_04: No, you didn't.
- 12:11SPEAKER_04: I saw it.
- 12:11SPEAKER_04: You're hiding.
- 12:12SPEAKER_04: Get up there and drink it.
- 12:13SPEAKER_04: Uh, okay.
- 12:14SPEAKER_04: So you go up there and you're pouring like this chocolate milkshake, slushy thing into your glass, and then you drink it all, and you instantaneously weigh like 20 pounds more, and then you're out there on the field and your coach is going, You gotta run fast.
- 12:30SPEAKER_04: You're like, I can't.
- 12:31SPEAKER_04: I got gator load in my ass.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: I like the vanilla one.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: That's the vanilla one was okay.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: The chocolate one was gross.
- 12:41SPEAKER_03: Yes, yeah.
- 12:42SPEAKER_03: The chocolate one was just drinking chalk.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: At least the vanilla one tasted a little better.
- 12:47SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 12:47SPEAKER_03: So good job there, Lemmox.
- 12:49SPEAKER_04: Orange Gatorade, no Gator Pros.
- 12:51SPEAKER_04: That kicks it off at number five.
- 12:53SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna assume I'm going out on a I'm going on a limb, but neither one of you has that.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: I have Gatorade at number two, but I like lemon lime.
- 13:04SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: We'll count that as Gatorade.
- 13:07SPEAKER_04: We'll count that as Gatorade.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: You're gonna blow up the Ven right off the bat, of course.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: I have Gatorade Red at number 14.
- 13:17unknown: Number 14.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: You see them stall it out at number?
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: Gatorade Red, number 14.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 13:28SPEAKER_04: Oh, all right.
- 13:29SPEAKER_04: Well, that was better than I thought.
- 13:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: Oh, nice.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: Good job, though.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: That was a good one.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: You two, you two and uh and number two, I like uh orange, my second.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Regular, original lemon lime, orange, then I like the white, and then the red, and then the rest, you might as well just throw it away.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: The blue.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'll drink it, but those four I would drink regularly.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: I don't like the purple one.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: No, the purple one, no.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yes.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: So that's how the Gatorade gets thrown down my gullet.
- 14:06SPEAKER_04: All right, so veil.
- 14:08SPEAKER_04: We know what you have at number 14,922.
- 14:12SPEAKER_03: 14, Lugmatz.
- 14:13SPEAKER_04: 149,022.
- 14:15SPEAKER_04: How about your number five?
- 14:16SPEAKER_03: My number five is birch beer.
- 14:21SPEAKER_03: I go out somewhere that has birch beer.
- 14:23SPEAKER_03: I'm drinking it.
- 14:24SPEAKER_03: That's usually, you know, maybe a pizza shop or something like that.
- 14:27SPEAKER_03: A lot of times they'll have it.
- 14:29SPEAKER_03: Now, I'm lucky enough that I live in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Dutch country area.
- 14:38SPEAKER_03: So I get the the Dutch country uh birch beer.
- 14:43SPEAKER_03: Fantastic.
- 14:44SPEAKER_03: Love it.
- 14:45SPEAKER_03: If if it's out there when I go somewhere and it's one of the flavorings I like, companies I like, I'll get the birch beer.
- 14:53SPEAKER_03: That is number five on my list.
- 14:58SPEAKER_03: Dad, do you have birch beer from Lancaster?
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: Have you ever had birch beer?
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: I I do.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: I have I have root beer at number six on my list.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: And I do like birch beer, but I just don't drink it as much as root beer.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: And birch beer, they don't necessarily sell in the store, per se.
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: But yes, birch beer.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: If I had a choice between a good the same root beer or birch beer, I probably would take the birch beer.
- 15:25SPEAKER_01: Good call, Vale.
- 15:26SPEAKER_04: I don't have I don't have birch beer or root beer in my top ten.
- 15:29SPEAKER_04: I don't like either one.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: I have root beer at 11.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: Oh, root beer.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: And I put the root beer on there too for root beer floats, too.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: That would be a good I do.
- 15:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I do like root beer floats also.
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: As well.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: So birch beer.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: Birch beer.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: Root beer, I guess, but birch beer, yeah.
- 15:48SPEAKER_03: Different.
- 15:48SPEAKER_03: That's me.
- 15:49SPEAKER_04: All right, so that that takes care of Vale's number five.
- 15:53SPEAKER_04: Todd, what do you what do you have clock in it at number five?
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: My number five Yuho.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: Yohoo.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: I don't drink it as much as I used to because I see it at Costco and I run away from it because I'll drink the whole case at one time.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: I love some Yu-Hoo.
- 16:10SPEAKER_04: Now, is this the Yu-Ho with the vodka in it or the plain Yu-Ho?
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Well, as we know, I made the drink up recently with Yohoo and some whipped cream vodka, and which is delicious, by the way.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: But no, just regular Yu-Ho in the can or bottle.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: I don't like the juice pack as we talked about this before.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: The juice box.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 16:35SPEAKER_04: Gotcha.
- 16:35SPEAKER_04: All right, so so straight, straight Yu-Ho at number five.
- 16:39SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 16:40SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna have to ask for a ruling.
- 16:44SPEAKER_04: I do not have Yuho on my list, but I do have chocolate milk.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: No.
- 16:52SPEAKER_04: That doesn't, so that does not count.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: Because you is a chocolate drink, not chocolate.
- 16:57SPEAKER_04: That's why I wanted clarification.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: Well, well, let me jump in, Lummox, before Todd answers.
- 17:03SPEAKER_03: Here we go.
- 17:04SPEAKER_03: Number three on my list is chocolate milk slash Yuho chocolate drink.
- 17:11SPEAKER_03: Oh, so okay.
- 17:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because I I I couldn't, I didn't know if I would separate them or not, or if they're this, you know, kind of the same thing, so I just put them together.
- 17:22SPEAKER_03: So that's number three on my list is chocolate milk slash youhoo, which is the one I knew Todd would have on his top five somewhere.
- 17:29SPEAKER_03: Well because like him, it's dangerous for me if I have I could I could drink a whole case of that.
- 17:36SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 17:38SPEAKER_03: And chocolate milk, I buy it by the two gallons, and I can just chug glasses at a time.
- 17:42SPEAKER_03: Like I don't even sip the chocolate milk, I can pound an entire glass.
- 17:47SPEAKER_03: I pour it in the glass and pound it quicker than I could probably do a beer or pretty close, but yeah, it's sad.
- 17:55SPEAKER_03: Oh wow, nice.
- 17:56SPEAKER_04: Okay, well, I mean if we're if we're getting technical about this and and Vale has combined the the two categories, then I have to announce that chocolate milk is my number two.
- 18:08SPEAKER_04: Oh wow, okay.
- 18:10SPEAKER_04: I I did not have you who, but since Vail has combined chocolate milk and you who chocolate drinks into one item, I guess I have to announce chocolate milk at number two and Vale, like you, I can't sit down and chug white milk.
- 18:25SPEAKER_04: But if you give me a pitcher of chocolate milk, I'm probably gonna make myself sick drinking it so fast.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: Oh, yep.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I know, I know that's hard.
- 18:39SPEAKER_03: That's why I buy the two gallons, and uh, you know, I can just chug one cup, one glass at a time, put it away.
- 18:47SPEAKER_04: So I had something on my honorable mention because it has only come out a couple times, but for Star Wars, they came out with the blue milk that Luke had at the farm in in episode four.
- 19:00SPEAKER_04: So they they did sell blue milk.
- 19:02SPEAKER_04: So and I it kind of had a vanilla taste, but it was blue in color.
- 19:06SPEAKER_04: Uh that that was really good.
- 19:07SPEAKER_04: You could taste the blue, but it doesn't come out all the time.
- 19:10SPEAKER_04: So I you know it was like it was what wasn't even a seasonal dish, it was like a random dish, right?
- 19:16SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 19:16SPEAKER_03: I didn't see blue milk anywhere.
- 19:19SPEAKER_03: You've never seen it?
- 19:20SPEAKER_03: No.
- 19:21SPEAKER_03: But I knew I remember you guys talked about on a podcast.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: I'm like, you guys, what the hell are you talking about?
- 19:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's it's come around, I think, twice and recently.
- 19:30SPEAKER_04: Um, but I did not put on the list because it's it's not a permanent thing that you can go out and get.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it just came out when Mandalorian and Grogu came out for that one, and then it was out a couple years before that.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: But yes, it's not as good as strawberry milk or banana milk or chocolate milk.
- 19:48unknown: Right.
- 19:49SPEAKER_04: So chocolate milk, my number two.
- 19:50SPEAKER_04: Now, are we counting that as a Venn?
- 19:54SPEAKER_04: We we gotta get a ruling from the judge here.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: Well, Vale said yes, and I said, I don't know.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: Let's leave it up to Dun Nation to decide on that one.
- 20:06SPEAKER_04: All right, put an asterisk next to it.
- 20:08SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 20:09SPEAKER_04: So if I if I know this, I've done my number five, I've announced my number two, so now I guess I have to do my number four.
- 20:17SPEAKER_04: Is that where we're at, Todd?
- 20:19SPEAKER_04: Uh, yes.
- 20:20SPEAKER_04: Okay, my number four, and this probably has increased ever since the trip to South Dakota is orange juice.
- 20:32SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 20:33SPEAKER_04: For my my liquid cocaines.
- 20:35SPEAKER_04: Now, sans all the cocaine ingredients, I do like regular orange juice.
- 20:39SPEAKER_04: That's you know, for breakfast, if I'm not having chocolate milk, uh, that is probably my go-to drink, is some orange juice.
- 20:48SPEAKER_04: I like mine without the pulp.
- 20:49SPEAKER_04: I do not like the pulp.
- 20:50SPEAKER_04: I don't want to have to chew my orange juice.
- 20:54SPEAKER_01: Now, I had our orange juice kept getting bumped down, but juice in general, like the mango nectars or the um other nectars that they have out there are delicious.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: I could pound those too, but orange juice would be number 12.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: And it kept getting knocked down out of out of the list.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: There's other juice, but I do like orange juice too.
- 21:20SPEAKER_04: You like that dragon fruit juice a little bit better, right?
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love that too.
- 21:25SPEAKER_04: Those are so good.
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, what did you say, Bill?
- 21:31SPEAKER_03: I thought your number four lummox was gonna be coconut milk, but I guess not, huh?
- 21:35SPEAKER_03: I can I can tell you right now that I'm looking at my top 5,000.
- 21:39SPEAKER_04: And it's not on there, it's not on there.
- 21:44SPEAKER_03: I have uh orange juice at nine, but unlike you, Lummox, I like pulp, extra pulp.
- 21:51SPEAKER_03: You like it nice and thick.
- 21:52SPEAKER_04: I made it extra thick for you.
- 21:54SPEAKER_03: Yes, I do.
- 21:56SPEAKER_03: I'm the only one in my family that likes pulp.
- 21:58SPEAKER_03: Everybody else, I have to buy.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: I have to buy no pulp.
- 22:01SPEAKER_03: And then I'm like, you know what?
- 22:02SPEAKER_03: If it's on sale, then I'll get one that says extra pulp in there.
- 22:06SPEAKER_03: You gotta buy one, get one.
- 22:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:10SPEAKER_03: That's the only time I get it.
- 22:11SPEAKER_03: Other than that, I'm drinking no pulp.
- 22:13SPEAKER_04: So Vale likes to chew his orange juice.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: I and I can just I just grab whatever it is.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: If it ends up being pulpy, then it's pulpy.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: If it's medium pulp, that's fine or no pulp.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: I have no preference.
- 22:30SPEAKER_04: That involves reading.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: No, I just it involves I don't care, whatever it is.
- 22:35SPEAKER_04: So no no no no blood on the orange juice.
- 22:38SPEAKER_04: You guys though.
- 22:40SPEAKER_04: Further down the list.
- 22:44SPEAKER_04: Todd, we already did your number four.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 22:47SPEAKER_04: That was the cheer wine, which then means we've got to go back over to Veil, Vail.
- 22:50SPEAKER_04: I don't think you've done your number four yet.
- 22:52SPEAKER_03: I have not, no.
- 22:54SPEAKER_03: And here we go with uh another soda.
- 22:57SPEAKER_03: This is probably one of my favorite sodas.
- 23:01SPEAKER_03: If not the favorite, I guess we'll have to find out.
- 23:04SPEAKER_03: But wild cherry Pepsi is my number four.
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: Why are you laughing?
- 23:11SPEAKER_03: Cherry Pepsi.
- 23:12SPEAKER_03: That's cherry specific.
- 23:15SPEAKER_03: I am, because that's Pepsi's Cherry Pepsi.
- 23:18SPEAKER_03: It's wild cherry Pepsi, that's what they call it.
- 23:21SPEAKER_03: So cherry Pepsi, in my opinion, is way better than a cherry coke or any other cherry drinks I've tried.
- 23:29SPEAKER_03: Now I haven't tried cherry wine yet.
- 23:31SPEAKER_03: So I'll I'll go see.
- 23:33SPEAKER_03: But for me, cherry pepsi, that's my drink.
- 23:38SPEAKER_03: If you if you see me out on the beach and I'm not drinking alcohol and I have something else, cherry pepsi is probably the thing I'm drinking.
- 23:46SPEAKER_04: Well, when we come up, when we get together for the oyster eat, I'll bring you some cheer wine.
- 23:51SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: I can get it at my store.
- 23:53SPEAKER_03: I see it there.
- 23:54SPEAKER_03: Oh, you have okay.
- 23:55SPEAKER_03: But it comes in like uh like a six-pack reel thing or whatever.
- 24:00SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 24:01SPEAKER_03: I usually skip right by that section.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: That's not bulk.
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I like to try to.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it doesn't come in a 24-pack.
- 24:12SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's but I will try it.
- 24:14SPEAKER_03: I will try it.
- 24:16SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 24:18SPEAKER_04: I do not have wild cherry Pepsi in the 24-ounce Magnum cup on my list anywhere.
- 24:26SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's funny.
- 24:27SPEAKER_03: I didn't think you would, Lummox.
- 24:30SPEAKER_03: Tom, what about you?
- 24:31SPEAKER_03: Do you have wild cherry Pepsi?
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: No.
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: He's been laughing the whole time.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: No, I do not have that specific soda pop on my list.
- 24:42SPEAKER_04: Not even in the 30s.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: Uh I don't know.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: I probably would drink.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: I if it was cold in the refrigerator or put it over ice, I'd probably have to drink it.
- 24:52SPEAKER_04: Add a little vodka to it.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Add a little rum to it, yeah.
- 24:56SPEAKER_04: You'd be alright.
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: It's good with rum.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: That's good with uh Captain Morgan's.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: Yes, this uh cheer wine is very good with Captain Morgan, too.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: That's dangerous.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: Dangerous, very dangerous.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 25:11SPEAKER_01: Moving right along.
- 25:12SPEAKER_04: All right, so we're up to number three now, right?
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: We are number three.
- 25:17SPEAKER_04: All right, so when I go to places like Mission Barbecue, and they have the you know, you serve your serve yourself your drinks.
- 25:28SPEAKER_04: I like to make the 50-50 combo of iced tea and lemonade.
- 25:33SPEAKER_04: So I know that some people call that an Arnold Palmer, right?
- 25:36SPEAKER_04: Or you know, a virgin Arnold Palmer, maybe.
- 25:39SPEAKER_04: Um, but that comes into my number three is the iced tea lemonade combo.
- 25:43SPEAKER_04: Not a big fan of lemonade by itself, not a huge fan of iced tea by itself.
- 25:47SPEAKER_04: But I mix the two together and I can I can drink the shit out of that.
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 25:51SPEAKER_03: Nice limox.
- 25:53SPEAKER_03: I do not have Arnold Palmer anywhere on mine.
- 25:57SPEAKER_03: As I'm not a lemonade fan.
- 25:59SPEAKER_03: I don't like those that fruit.
- 26:02SPEAKER_04: Not enough cherry, not enough cherry in it.
- 26:04SPEAKER_04: Not enough cherry.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: All right, so this is how I'm gonna break this down then.
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: So number three for me is iced tea.
- 26:12SPEAKER_01: So it could be iced tea, it could be a hot tea.
- 26:16SPEAKER_01: Now I have specific places that I like better than other places, and I do have lemonade number 10, and I like an Arnold Palmer, specifically at Starbucks.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: Starbucks is my iced tea.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: I like the iced tea there very well.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: And if I was gonna get hot tea, it would be at Starbucks with some honey.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: And I'm not a coffee drinker, so hot tea in the winter time, very good.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: I like Chick-fil-A's, lemonade, and iced tea because I like the ice there.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: Have you ever had a Chick-fil-A?
- 26:54SPEAKER_04: Chick-fil-A is the best ice.
- 26:55SPEAKER_04: That's why my wife was pissed when she got no ice break for iced tea on our field or our road trip.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: And I like McDonald's sweet tea.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: That's the best one that you can get.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: That is I uh on road trips, if it's uh if it's there, I'll take some sweet tea.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: So I don't know how you want to break that down if that counts as a fan or not, because that is uh awful all over the road.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: But I I would have an iced tea on Palmer and put that at number three if if we would.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: Vale, what do you think?
- 27:30SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, now that we talked about tea, my number one is sweet tea.
- 27:36unknown: Okay.
- 27:37SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 27:39SPEAKER_03: So, you know, my favorite though is again living in the Lancaster Amish Dutch country area.
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: There's a uh convenience store there, kind of like a wahwa or sheets or rural farms or something.
- 27:54SPEAKER_03: It's called Turkey Hill.
- 27:57SPEAKER_03: And they they make ice cream as well.
- 27:59SPEAKER_03: I don't know how far the ice cream spreads out, but they make sweet tea, and it is the best sweet tea I've ever had.
- 28:08SPEAKER_03: I got a two-liter in my fridge right now that we drink.
- 28:11SPEAKER_03: So I do like, you know, if it was fast food places, I do like McDonald's sweet tea, even though it's not as sweet, I don't think, as it used to be.
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: When I'm down south, I get the sweet tea all the time because it's a lot sweeter down there, yes, and uh made with real sugar, like homemade, usually sweet tea.
- 28:28SPEAKER_03: I do not like the teas, like the leptin tea that you get out of the uh soda machines.
- 28:35SPEAKER_03: Like if you go to a restaurant or something, they have lepton tea there or whatever.
- 28:38SPEAKER_03: I don't think it tastes good.
- 28:39SPEAKER_03: Um, I don't like Snapple.
- 28:43SPEAKER_03: Okay, I I like Snapple and I like the lid too, of course.
- 28:47SPEAKER_03: So underneath and I'll I'll drink if it's if it's one of those, I'll probably drink before anything else an Arizona sweet tea.
- 28:56SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'd love to do that.
- 28:57SPEAKER_03: I like those better.
- 28:59SPEAKER_03: And then probably next in line would be um like what is it called?
- 29:04SPEAKER_03: Gold Peak or whatever it's called.
- 29:06SPEAKER_03: Um I can do those as well.
- 29:08SPEAKER_03: That is uh for me sweet tea, but Turkey Hill sweet tea, number one in my book.
- 29:13SPEAKER_03: So if you want to put that in there, that would definitely be a Vin.
- 29:17SPEAKER_03: On tea at least, the tea portion.
- 29:20SPEAKER_03: Tea, yeah.
- 29:20SPEAKER_03: So I do not do, you know, again, lemons or like apples for me.
- 29:26SPEAKER_03: I don't like lemonade.
- 29:28SPEAKER_03: I mean, I'll drink lemonade.
- 29:29SPEAKER_03: Let me say that.
- 29:29SPEAKER_03: I will drink some lemonade.
- 29:31SPEAKER_03: If it's pink lemonade, it's a better shot.
- 29:33SPEAKER_03: I'll drink it than regular lemonade.
- 29:35SPEAKER_03: How about apple juice?
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: No way, not any close.
- 29:38SPEAKER_03: I can't stand apple juice.
- 29:41SPEAKER_03: But I can do lemonade if I have to.
- 29:44SPEAKER_03: But like if it's a lemon cookie or lemon cake or something like that, I won't do any lemon.
- 29:49SPEAKER_03: So uh but lemonade I can do, especially if it's fresh lemonade, I can do that.
- 29:54SPEAKER_03: So and no hot tea for either one of you.
- 29:57SPEAKER_03: No hot tea, and I do not want to be a tea.
- 30:00SPEAKER_03: I I mean look, I'll drink and on a cold day, but if all I have is a hot tea and it's offered to me, I'll drink it.
- 30:06SPEAKER_03: Just like uh a hot coffee, I would drink that, but not on my list.
- 30:12SPEAKER_04: I see, I won't even take the hot coffee, even if it's cold outside.
- 30:15SPEAKER_04: I don't drink coffee.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, that's uh tea as a then, maybe.
- 30:22SPEAKER_01: Another asterisk.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: Another asterisk on that one.
- 30:26SPEAKER_01: Next to the men.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: All right, Todd, so I guess we're over to you.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: Well, we had Gatorade at number two was me.
- 30:36SPEAKER_04: Oh, Gatorade's number two for you?
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 30:38SPEAKER_04: All right, and we've already done my number two is chocolate milk veil.
- 30:42SPEAKER_04: Have we done your number two?
- 30:43SPEAKER_03: We have not done my number two, is the only one I have left.
- 30:46SPEAKER_04: Okay, why don't you fill us in on number two on the veil list?
- 30:50SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 30:51SPEAKER_03: Number two for me is a seasonal drink.
- 30:55SPEAKER_04: Uh-oh.
- 30:56SPEAKER_03: It is bad news for me.
- 30:58SPEAKER_03: I can do this alcoholic or non-alcoholic.
- 31:01SPEAKER_03: I buy it, of course, in the grocery store, non-alcoholic.
- 31:04SPEAKER_03: Again, I buy Turkey Hill, but I've had plenty of others.
- 31:08SPEAKER_03: And this is eggnog.
- 31:10SPEAKER_03: I knew you were gonna say that.
- 31:13SPEAKER_03: I can I can pound eggnog just like chocolate milk.
- 31:16SPEAKER_03: I mean, and and they don't come in the big two-gallon thing, so you know, you gotta buy the smaller one.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: I can finish a whole, I mean, I could probably open it up at the grocery store and chug it as I'm walking before I get up to pay.
- 31:29SPEAKER_03: Uh, that's my problem with eggnog, and it's not that cheap either.
- 31:33SPEAKER_03: So it's just, you know, it's a dilemma for me all the time is should I even buy this?
- 31:38SPEAKER_03: Is it worth my time?
- 31:39SPEAKER_03: Because then afterwards I'll feel sick, but it tastes so good going down, I just keep chugging it.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: For me, eggnog number two.
- 31:46SPEAKER_03: So I have a question for you.
- 31:47SPEAKER_04: When you're when you're pounding this eggnog, I'm trying to visualize this.
- 31:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, how close are you in appearance and style to cousin Eddie slamming eggnog in a Marty Moose glass?
- 32:02SPEAKER_03: I I am it's probably uh probably a little different because he was in a little uh little teeny glass and he chugged that thing.
- 32:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:12SPEAKER_03: No, I'd do it right out of the container.
- 32:13SPEAKER_03: I'd do it right out of the carton.
- 32:15SPEAKER_03: Right out of the carton.
- 32:17SPEAKER_03: The egg, yeah, eggnog with me.
- 32:19SPEAKER_03: Because not many people in my family drink it the way I do, or I'll buy one, they can have one, I'll have the other.
- 32:24SPEAKER_03: I won't even pour it into a glass, I'll just drink chug it right out of the right out of the carton?
- 32:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: Oh bloody.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: Bad news for me.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: I didn't even think about eggnog.
- 32:35SPEAKER_01: That is definitely a seasonal drink right there, but I I do love some eggnog.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: Now, do you like the alcoholic eggnog that you can buy at the liquor store in the big plastic jug?
- 32:47SPEAKER_03: I bought uh that one that you had on the one podcast at one time.
- 32:52SPEAKER_03: I don't remember what it was, uh, what the name of it is, but they sell it at our liquor store.
- 32:57SPEAKER_03: So I bought it, and that one was good.
- 32:59SPEAKER_03: But some of these other ones, like they have that uh Southern Comfort has one.
- 33:04SPEAKER_03: I don't kind of I don't know, that one, I don't know.
- 33:06SPEAKER_03: I don't like that one as much.
- 33:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and some of those ones at the liquor store just they're not enough eggy in there.
- 33:14SPEAKER_03: They're not eggy enough.
- 33:15SPEAKER_03: It's not eggy enough, yeah.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: That that's when uh like you go to the restaurant and the waitress asks you, how do you want your eggs?
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: And I always say nogged.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: They look at me like I have 45 heads on, and it was like nogged, and then they laugh.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, because then I get it.
- 33:35SPEAKER_01: That's a good one there.
- 33:37SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna steal that one.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: How do you like your eggs nogged?
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so there you go.
- 33:45SPEAKER_03: Number two, I drug it, eggnog, seasonal drink for me, right there.
- 33:50SPEAKER_03: If they served if they if they sold that all year long, I would buy it.
- 33:56SPEAKER_03: I don't know why it's just around the holidays.
- 33:59SPEAKER_04: So if it if they serve that and blueberry cereal year round, they should.
- 34:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, my daughter said that today.
- 34:05SPEAKER_03: She goes, I don't know why they don't have these monster cereals year round, they'd be making money off of them.
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: I I have a friend and his uh wife drinks that eggnog liquor eggnog all year round.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: She's always got a plastic bottle of it somewhere.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: He's like, get that crap out of here.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: I don't want any of that.
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: That's funny.
- 34:28SPEAKER_04: I can see Vale at the holiday party just with a carton of eggnog.
- 34:32SPEAKER_04: And can I get you a glass?
- 34:34SPEAKER_04: No, I'm good right now.
- 34:35SPEAKER_04: Cracks over.
- 34:36SPEAKER_03: I didn't drank that out of the ladle.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: All spilling all over you like a big mess.
- 34:43SPEAKER_03: All down my shirt.
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: Yes, yeah.
- 34:46SPEAKER_03: I look like uh Napoleon dynamite when he drinks a drink and it just comes all down, runs down his shirt and chin.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: All white, milky looking.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 34:57SPEAKER_01: That's hilarious.
- 35:00SPEAKER_04: That's a good one there, Eggnog.
- 35:01SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's a good one.
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: There you go.
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: Number two.
- 35:04SPEAKER_03: So my list, my top five is done.
- 35:07SPEAKER_04: All right, so for my top, my number one, it's all I've got left for me.
- 35:13SPEAKER_04: It's uh Coke Zero.
- 35:15SPEAKER_04: That is my that's my go-to soda, my go-to soft drink.
- 35:20SPEAKER_04: I go someplace and uh you know, I ask if they have Coke Zero, and they go, No, we have Diet Coke.
- 35:25SPEAKER_04: I go, give me water or give me something else.
- 35:27SPEAKER_04: I cannot stand Diet Coke, uh, but Coke Zero I do like.
- 35:31SPEAKER_04: Um, I do I did have regular Coke, it was further down in the honorable mentions, and I in parentheses put the uh Coke from Mexico next to it because that's actually pretty tasty.
- 35:42SPEAKER_04: If you ever had Mexican Coke, because they use they use the real sugar in that.
- 35:46SPEAKER_04: Um, but I obviously don't drink that all the time for all the sugar and everything.
- 35:50SPEAKER_04: But for me, uh number one with my salt drink, only salt drink on there in the list for me was Coke Zero.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: I really can't believe that you don't have my number one on your list, actually.
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty disappointed in you guys.
- 36:04SPEAKER_03: Coke Zero for me, uh Atlumic is number 13.
- 36:07SPEAKER_03: All right, but I drink it all the time.
- 36:09SPEAKER_03: Like if I again, like you, if restaurants have it, because most of the ones, as we already know, birch beer and wild cherry Pepsi and stuff, that you have to buy.
- 36:19SPEAKER_03: Not many places have those options.
- 36:22SPEAKER_03: So usually I have to fall to a Coke Zero.
- 36:25SPEAKER_03: Now, do you like Diet Coke?
- 36:27SPEAKER_03: I can drink Diet Coke, but I prefer Coke Zero.
- 36:30SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 36:30SPEAKER_03: See, I can't even drink Diet Coke.
- 36:32SPEAKER_03: I've tried, I can't do it.
- 36:33SPEAKER_03: Like if I'm buying 12 packs of Coke at the store, you know, buy two, get two, you know, we'll get my wife some Cokes, and then my one daughter, boy, the kids, they like Sprite, and then I'll get myself a Coke Zero.
- 36:47SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 36:48SPEAKER_04: All right, so Todd, what what is this one that's on your list that you cannot believe we didn't talk about?
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: Number one on my list, water.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: You gotta have the water on your list.
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: It's delicious.
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: Hangovers, you chug some water, you're feeling better.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: Everything we discussed needs water to have in this.
- 37:10SPEAKER_01: I can't believe you didn't have water.
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: Number one on my list, water.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Ice a glass of ice water is delicious.
- 37:19SPEAKER_04: All right, so so Todd, I have water on my list at number six.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 37:24SPEAKER_04: This was our top favorite things we like to drink.
- 37:27SPEAKER_04: I drink water because it's a necessity.
- 37:31SPEAKER_04: Not because I sit there and go, Oh, if you if you can actually taste your water, Todd, I want to know what you're putting in it.
- 37:37SPEAKER_04: You can't tell the difference between the left twix and the right twix, but you're telling me that your water is delicious.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: Uh, water, ice water is delicious.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: I'll get water out uh at the restaurant with my glass of whatever and drink water with it.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 37:52SPEAKER_01: Uh, water is my favorite thing to drink.
- 37:55SPEAKER_03: Do you drink it because you like it, or do you drink it because you have to?
- 37:58SPEAKER_04: Because you need to because you're dehydrated from all the vodka you drank the night before.
- 38:03SPEAKER_04: So you've got to drink the water.
- 38:04SPEAKER_04: It's not because you like it, it's because you'd like to live.
- 38:08SPEAKER_03: I don't see you out at the bar drinking water while we're all drinking beer, and you're like, This is my favorite drink.
- 38:13SPEAKER_04: The last time they gave him water at the bar, he shotgun the glass across the bar and said, Get rid of this thing.
- 38:19SPEAKER_04: I don't want it.
- 38:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 38:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 38:21SPEAKER_04: What's he talking about?
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: I like the water.
- 38:26SPEAKER_03: Uh now I pack water.
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, black.
- 38:29SPEAKER_03: Not even when we tried to rehydrate you with water.
- 38:33SPEAKER_04: You wanted no parts of water.
- 38:35SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 38:36SPEAKER_04: I guess we have to rehydrate him with eggnog going forward.
- 38:39unknown: No, he's all not.
- 38:41SPEAKER_03: You know, if you gave me a sweet tea at the bar, I'd be like, okay, hey, pour some vodka in there or something, but yeah, let's go.
- 38:48SPEAKER_03: I drink it.
- 38:50SPEAKER_01: Which is a nice pick, by the way.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: Iced tea and vodka.
- 38:55SPEAKER_04: Now, again, Todd water is on my list only because it's a necessity of life, not because I wake up and go, Oh my god, I can't wait to pound some water.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it is when you are got cottonmouth.
- 39:09SPEAKER_04: And why do you have cotton mouth?
- 39:10SPEAKER_04: Because you're hungover from all the other shit you drank.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: I still like drinking it.
- 39:15SPEAKER_04: Oh, then that's why you are the duh.
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: I have number one, water.
- 39:19SPEAKER_01: That's nowhere on my list.
- 39:22SPEAKER_03: You had eggnog and every other sugar drink on there.
- 39:25SPEAKER_03: You're damn right I did.
- 39:26SPEAKER_03: I only drink water because I have to.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: Oh boy.
- 39:32SPEAKER_03: But it's not like I wake up in the morning, like, oh man, can I go for this uh orange juice?
- 39:38SPEAKER_03: This glass of chocolate milk now.
- 39:40SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna go for some delicious water.
- 39:41SPEAKER_03: Why I'm at it while I'm outside in the backyard, I might as well drink out of my hose water too, because that's delicious.
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: No, that's not delicious, but we it made you learn to drink everything else after that.
- 39:54SPEAKER_04: Yeah, then hose water has a nice copper taste to it.
- 39:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yes.
- 39:59SPEAKER_04: Uh so now, Todd, I will, I will, I will disclose when making this list, and I decide I'm like, where am I gonna put water?
- 40:06SPEAKER_04: Okay, so I'm making my list and I'm trying to think about this, and then I you know, I I ran the numbers, right?
- 40:11SPEAKER_04: And I'm thinking, well, I like to drink orange juice because I'd like to drink orange juice, right?
- 40:16SPEAKER_04: I'd like to drink chocolate milk because I like to taste, and I got to water.
- 40:20SPEAKER_04: It's it's a necessity of life.
- 40:22SPEAKER_04: It's not that I like it, it's because I need to, or I'm not gonna be around much longer.
- 40:26SPEAKER_04: So I put it at number six.
- 40:27SPEAKER_04: It didn't make it into my I gotta have it drinks, it made it into my do you want to live or die drinks?
- 40:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, this wasn't this wasn't what we drank most.
- 40:35SPEAKER_03: This is what we like.
- 40:37SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, I I literally like drinking water, and one of my favorites right now is this uh liquid water, just regular liquid liquid water as opposed to liquid death as opposed to frozen water, liquid death w water, just the straight water in the white can, it's delicious, but I don't know what they do with that.
- 41:00SPEAKER_01: But I do not like spending six dollars for a thing of water.
- 41:05SPEAKER_01: Well, yeah, we got we got that.
- 41:06SPEAKER_04: We went to the Motley Crew concert.
- 41:08SPEAKER_04: I got a can of liquid death water.
- 41:11SPEAKER_04: Yes, it was good, I bet.
- 41:13SPEAKER_04: It tasted like water, yeah.
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: But I don't know what that water tastes better than any other water.
- 41:20SPEAKER_04: They put a little extra H2O in that water.
- 41:26SPEAKER_04: Now, if you were gonna give me Bobby Poucher's secret water from the glacier in the magical blue gem, you know, container, maybe I'll put that up there.
- 41:35SPEAKER_04: But just straight water, that's that's just a life necessity, not a enjoyment.
- 41:41SPEAKER_03: I will I will say this since we're on the water topic.
- 41:45SPEAKER_03: So my uh grandparents lived in Pennsylvania, like northwestern Pennsylvania, right?
- 41:50SPEAKER_03: Mountain territory.
- 41:52SPEAKER_03: So in the town they lived in, so he would get water, we would drive down to to like by the river, and of course, there's a huge mountain there, and then they had this hose running out of like uh the mountain wall with water, it's like actual spring water coming out, and that's where he would fill up buckets.
- 42:15SPEAKER_03: He took us down there for the first time.
- 42:17SPEAKER_03: We're like, what in the hell?
- 42:18SPEAKER_03: What are you doing here?
- 42:20SPEAKER_03: I must have been like five or six, like we're all looking at each other laughing.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: Dude, it was probably the best water I've ever tasted in my life, dude.
- 42:28SPEAKER_03: It was fresh.
- 42:29SPEAKER_03: I mean, totally different taste than what you get anywhere else or out of any of these bottles nowadays.
- 42:34SPEAKER_03: So pretty funny there.
- 42:36SPEAKER_03: But true story, we drank water out of the side of a mountain when we were up there visiting them.
- 42:41SPEAKER_03: That's what we drank.
- 42:43SPEAKER_01: I bet you he wished it was eggnog coming out of there.
- 42:45SPEAKER_03: Uh, I didn't know eggnog at that time.
- 42:48SPEAKER_03: But now, yeah.
- 42:49SPEAKER_04: But if you had a hose that supplied nonstop eggnog, I bet you'd be pretty happy.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: I I would, yeah.
- 42:54SPEAKER_03: Well, I'd probably be dead.
- 42:56SPEAKER_01: Probably be dead.
- 42:57SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: Not the lummox, he's immortal.
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: He could drink it for you.
- 43:02SPEAKER_03: That's right.
- 43:02SPEAKER_03: I I I regained my powers.
- 43:05SPEAKER_03: You don't even need to drink water lummox.
- 43:07SPEAKER_03: You're immortal.
- 43:08SPEAKER_03: Oh, funny.
- 43:10SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 43:10SPEAKER_04: So we've we've knocked off the top fives.
- 43:13SPEAKER_04: Um, you know, I do have a couple honorable mentions.
- 43:16SPEAKER_04: I'll go through them real fast and I'll hand it back over to you.
- 43:18SPEAKER_04: We've already talked about the regular Coke slash Mexican Coke.
- 43:22SPEAKER_04: We've already talked about the water, the elixir of life, right, Ty, we've talked about that.
- 43:28SPEAKER_04: I had chocolate milk at number two, but I also enjoyed strawberry milk.
- 43:33SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 43:34SPEAKER_04: Not as not as, and I didn't know whether I should combine it or keep them as two separate things.
- 43:38SPEAKER_04: They are two separate flavors, still in the flavored milk category, but I kept it separate.
- 43:43SPEAKER_04: So I had strawberry milk in there as an honorable mention.
- 43:47SPEAKER_04: I had pineapple juice.
- 43:49SPEAKER_04: I actually do like pineapple juice.
- 43:50SPEAKER_04: I can I can drink that.
- 43:52SPEAKER_04: Not not too big on some of the other dragon fruit and guava and all the weird shit that Todd drinks, but I do like the pineapple juice.
- 44:00SPEAKER_04: My last honorable mention was a sprite.
- 44:02SPEAKER_04: I can drink that as my as my other soda if I need to.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: I like it.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: All right, what do you got, buddy?
- 44:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because I know you got like 25 of them.
- 44:14SPEAKER_01: Uh, I got lemonade at number 10.
- 44:17SPEAKER_01: Number nine, I have Kool-Aid, but it has to be the packs, and you have to have real sugar mixed with it.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: And it's any flavor.
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: I like all of them.
- 44:27SPEAKER_01: Equally good, cherry, whatever.
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: And also another little sneak tip on that: you put a little lemon juice in in the pitcher too.
- 44:36SPEAKER_01: Delicious.
- 44:37SPEAKER_01: Kool-Aid number nine.
- 44:40SPEAKER_01: Number eight.
- 44:40SPEAKER_01: Now, this is where we kind of go off a little bit is Sonic Slushies.
- 44:45SPEAKER_01: Now, I don't have a specific one that I like, but I do like all of the Sonic slushies.
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: So I like those.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: Uh and my number seven, well, number six was root beer, and my number seven, the Taco Bell Brisk Mango Fiesta Tea.
- 45:04SPEAKER_01: They only make it for Taco Bell, and that thing is delicious.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: If you've ever had that, it's scrumptious.
- 45:12SPEAKER_01: Number seven on my list.
- 45:14SPEAKER_04: I've never had the scrumptiousness of that before in my life.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's good.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: You should try it.
- 45:19SPEAKER_01: And number 11 would be Dr.
- 45:21SPEAKER_01: Pepper.
- 45:23SPEAKER_01: And that's my list.
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: And to Ven, real quick, we got, I think Vale and Lum, you had Pepsi, did you?
- 45:30SPEAKER_01: I forget if it was top five or close.
- 45:34SPEAKER_04: Not in the top five.
- 45:35SPEAKER_01: Uh Lum and Todd had Gatorade, but different flavors, because I like lemon lime and you liked orange.
- 45:41SPEAKER_01: And then we have question marks for chocolate milk and youhoo and tea.
- 45:46SPEAKER_01: So we have uh question marks on those.
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: We all had it, but in different kinds of formats.
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: So like one and a half vents.
- 45:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, one and a half.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: We'll say that.
- 45:58unknown: Nice.
- 45:59SPEAKER_04: All right, Vale.
- 46:01SPEAKER_04: What's the encyclopedia say in front of you?
- 46:04SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 46:05SPEAKER_03: We ready?
- 46:06SPEAKER_03: So number six for me.
- 46:08SPEAKER_03: We'll start with that one.
- 46:09SPEAKER_03: Hot chocolate.
- 46:10SPEAKER_03: I love hot chocolate.
- 46:12SPEAKER_03: Homemade hot chocolate's good, but I can do the uh you know Swiss Miss Packets too.
- 46:17SPEAKER_03: Um but any hot chocolate for me, I can drink that.
- 46:21SPEAKER_03: If I let it set too long, it just turns into basically chocolate water, chocolate milk.
- 46:25SPEAKER_03: Still pounded, but I also add marshmallows, of course, if they're around.
- 46:31SPEAKER_03: I will put those in there.
- 46:32SPEAKER_03: So hot chocolate six.
- 46:34SPEAKER_03: Number seven, Dr.
- 46:35SPEAKER_03: Thunder.
- 46:36SPEAKER_03: Anyone know what that is?
- 46:38SPEAKER_03: So Dr.
- 46:39SPEAKER_03: Thunder is Walmart's Dr.
- 46:41SPEAKER_03: Pepper.
- 46:42SPEAKER_03: Better than Dr.
- 46:43SPEAKER_03: Pepper?
- 46:44SPEAKER_03: Yes, it tastes like two times better than Dr.
- 46:46SPEAKER_03: Pepper to me.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 46:47SPEAKER_03: So I'll do Dr.
- 46:48SPEAKER_03: Thunder.
- 46:50SPEAKER_03: On that, listeners, if you're ever at Walmart, you like Dr.
- 46:53SPEAKER_03: Pepper, try Dr.
- 46:54SPEAKER_03: Thunder.
- 46:54SPEAKER_03: Let me know what you think.
- 46:56SPEAKER_03: Number eight is Power Aid.
- 46:58SPEAKER_03: Instead of I like Gatorade, I had that as 14, but I like Power Aid better, their fruit punch, which is their red one.
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: I can drink that one all the time as well to get my electrolytes back so I don't have to drink water.
- 47:10SPEAKER_03: And it's delicious.
- 47:13SPEAKER_03: Scrumptious.
- 47:14SPEAKER_03: Scrumptious.
- 47:15SPEAKER_03: Number 10 for me is cream soda.
- 47:18SPEAKER_03: Uh I love cream soda.
- 47:19SPEAKER_03: You can't find that pretty much anywhere.
- 47:22SPEAKER_03: Bucky's has it.
- 47:24SPEAKER_03: A few other places.
- 47:25SPEAKER_03: When they had those big machines, I can find it.
- 47:28SPEAKER_03: Uh if there's like an AW uh button on there or something, you can get it.
- 47:32SPEAKER_03: If not, um I can get it at the grocery store, but I love cream soda.
- 47:36SPEAKER_03: Number 12, again, take off of uh Dr.
- 47:40SPEAKER_03: Pepper would be Mr.
- 47:41SPEAKER_03: Pib.
- 47:41SPEAKER_03: That would be Coke's Dr.
- 47:43SPEAKER_03: Pepper rather than Pepsi's.
- 47:45SPEAKER_03: Uh so I like Pib.
- 47:47SPEAKER_03: And then last, I had the same thing as Todd, Kool-Aid.
- 47:53SPEAKER_03: Has to be the packets, mix it in.
- 47:55SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 47:55SPEAKER_03: Mix in sugar with that, but Kool-Aid.
- 47:59SPEAKER_04: What is your sugar to Kool-Aid packet ratio when you're making this?
- 48:04SPEAKER_03: I I put a little more sugar in there than not.
- 48:07SPEAKER_03: But Kool-Aid also, they have little little like drink cup things now that they're kind of like the jugs.
- 48:16SPEAKER_03: Uh you can just pound the Capri Sun now has that.
- 48:19SPEAKER_03: If you like Capri Suns, I guess instead of buying the little pouches, they have like a bottle like you would buy cranberry juice or something in, or apple juice of just Capri Sun.
- 48:30SPEAKER_03: So you can if you just if you like the juice, you can get that.
- 48:33SPEAKER_03: Instead of trying to fuck with that pouch and get the straw in there?
- 48:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 48:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 48:37SPEAKER_03: Because that's same with the Kool-Aid, has those same type of pouches.
- 48:40SPEAKER_03: I'm like, this is ridiculous.
- 48:41SPEAKER_03: Who's gonna buy this?
- 48:43SPEAKER_03: So I'll I'll do Kool-Aid every now.
- 48:45SPEAKER_03: You know, if I'm at typically that's more during the summer.
- 48:48SPEAKER_03: I mean, I don't buy the packets, but if it's there, uh or if I end up just wanting it during the summer, um, I'll do Kool-Aid, but yeah.
- 48:58SPEAKER_04: I know I know this wasn't part of this assignment, but you brought up hot chocolate.
- 49:02SPEAKER_04: Vail, have you ever tried putting whipped cream vodka and salted caramel vodka in your hot chocolate?
- 49:08SPEAKER_03: No, but I would.
- 49:09SPEAKER_04: It's it's pretty damn good.
- 49:11SPEAKER_04: That would be good.
- 49:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that sounds good.
- 49:14SPEAKER_04: I'll have to try it.
- 49:15SPEAKER_04: Slices it up.
- 49:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, winter is coming.
- 49:19SPEAKER_03: Put that on put that on your list.
- 49:21SPEAKER_03: I'll put that on my list.
- 49:22SPEAKER_03: But the hot chocolate's another one.
- 49:24SPEAKER_03: If it cools down just enough, then my hot chocolate, sadly enough, I just pound the sucker.
- 49:31SPEAKER_04: Right, because it's just chocolate milk at that point.
- 49:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, as we can tell, I have a chugging problem.
- 49:36SPEAKER_04: Really?
- 49:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:39SPEAKER_01: Starbucks makes a good hot chocolate.
- 49:42SPEAKER_01: My daughter gets with uh the hot chocolate every once in a while, then she doesn't want it, and then I pound it, I chug it like veil.
- 49:50SPEAKER_03: It's funny too, because for me like Coke, because my my wife's favorite drink is Coke.
- 49:57SPEAKER_03: So we always have Coke in the house.
- 50:00SPEAKER_03: But if she doesn't like finish a can, I won't drink the Coke typically right out of the can where it's fizzy and uh like over ice or whatever.
- 50:10SPEAKER_03: But if that she lets that can, if it sits there, you know, later that night when it's flat and uh kind of just room temperature, I'll drink it at that point in time.
- 50:20SPEAKER_03: Standard time I can drink coke is that way.
- 50:22SPEAKER_03: I can't drink it cold.
- 50:23SPEAKER_03: I don't know why.
- 50:24SPEAKER_03: So but I can drink flat Coke.
- 50:27SPEAKER_03: You can drink flat coke.
- 50:28SPEAKER_03: Flat Coke, yep.
- 50:30SPEAKER_03: Room temperature.
- 50:31SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 50:32SPEAKER_04: Learn something new every day.
- 50:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 50:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 50:36SPEAKER_03: I can dr I can drink well, you know, I well that it goes back to college, I guess.
- 50:41SPEAKER_03: Sometimes we didn't have ice available at all times.
- 50:45SPEAKER_03: No, we don't.
- 50:45SPEAKER_03: So when there's a two-liter there or something, I was just drinking room temperature, we didn't have ice, you know, because we didn't have the ice machines and you know, nobody in it.
- 50:55SPEAKER_03: And we forget to fill the ice trays up.
