- 1:26Speaker 1: The popcorn moment. Let's go, let's go, let's.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Go.
- 1:30Speaker 1: It's a story you need to hear to believe. Then
- 1:32Speaker 1: grab your popcorn because there is more. I have a
- 1:35Speaker 1: host of of things here first there was this uh
- 1:41Speaker 1: kevin cork over there at fox i like kevin i've
- 1:44Speaker 1: never i've never done a show with kevin i don't
- 1:46Speaker 1: think we've ever met but we are connected via social
- 1:49Speaker 1: i dig him he's one he's like an under the
- 1:51Speaker 1: radar guy over there who i'd like to see doing
- 1:55Speaker 1: more he was going over some of the early voting numbers.
- 2:01Speaker 2: It Let me show you the forecast as we see
- 2:03Speaker 2: it right now. A couple of states I want to
- 2:05Speaker 2: point your attention to, beginning in Ohio. You see right
- 2:08Speaker 2: now it's lean Democrat that had been yellow as a toss-up. Again,
- 2:12Speaker 2: still within the margin of error, but something worth keeping
- 2:15Speaker 2: an eye on.
- 2:16Speaker 1: And how about the state of Minnesota?
- 2:17Speaker 2: You see right there it leans Democrat that had been
- 2:20Speaker 2: likely Democrat. This really speaks to the performance of Michelle
- 2:24Speaker 2: Tafoya as she continues to gain ground. So, again, something interesting.
- 2:27Speaker 2: That should be very interesting in the land of 10,000
- 2:29Speaker 2: lakes over the next seven days. As for the battlegrounds,
- 2:32Speaker 2: you see right here the president sweeping most of them
- 2:34Speaker 2: fairly easily back in 2024, save for Michigan, which was
- 2:38Speaker 2: very close, a plus one. The Democrats need to win,
- 2:42Speaker 2: not one, not two, but at least two to get
- 2:44Speaker 2: to 51. Three would get the job done for sure.
- 2:47Speaker 2: We'll see if they can pull it off. I want
- 2:49Speaker 2: to show you the early vote nationwide. We're talking about
- 2:51Speaker 2: over 33 million votes already cast. And I want to
- 2:54Speaker 2: draw your attention to this. I find this one interesting.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Look at the state of Michigan trace. Almost 1.4 million
- 3:01Speaker 2: votes have already been cast. And that is one in
- 3:06Speaker 2: five Michigan voters. That's 20 percent for those of you
- 3:09Speaker 2: who are keeping in mind, by the way.
- 3:12Speaker 1: That's 20% for those of you who didn't know how
- 3:13Speaker 1: to do the math. Kevin, say it the way it is.
- 3:16Speaker 1: There's been some early voting. People are going out to
- 3:20Speaker 1: the polls. And yes, if you take a look at polling,
- 3:25Speaker 1: they will tell you this race is tight. I'm not
- 3:26Speaker 1: paying attention to any polling anymore. I stopped looking. Stopped.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I don't buy it. I don't believe it. And if
- 3:32Speaker 1: you're out, you're out. If you're done, you don't go
- 3:36Speaker 1: back to the drug. You're done. There's there's nothing there
- 3:42Speaker 1: that I'm going to buy into. Now, when it comes
- 3:45Speaker 1: to election night coverage, which I'm going to do and
- 3:48Speaker 1: I'll be right here, I won't be on IBC that
- 3:51Speaker 1: I know of. I don't know what we're doing for IBC.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I know we've got coverage. I'll be live streaming there
- 3:56Speaker 1: over at Tony Katz covering everything and having a bourbon.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I when he talks about Minnesota, he talks about Ohio.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I think both these things are true. These are very,
- 4:08Speaker 1: very tight races in places that they shouldn't be tight races.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And is there a reason for it? So this was CNN, CNN,
- 4:19Speaker 1: that that Abby Phillips show where Michael Smirconish was filling in.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Is she pregnant or something like that? All the best
- 4:26Speaker 1: to her. So Smirconish was filling in as host. And
- 4:32Speaker 1: he's an able host. He is. He was a radio
- 4:35Speaker 1: host out of Philadelphia for forever. An able guy. This
- 4:39Speaker 1: was an interesting bit of data regarding where the voters are. Now,
- 4:44Speaker 1: you don't have to believe the number. Do you believe
- 4:46Speaker 1: the sentiment?
- 4:47Speaker 3: Some data about how the Democratic Party is perceived. This
- 4:51Speaker 3: comes from the New York Times and Siena. Put that
- 4:53Speaker 3: on the screen. Forty-nine percent. This is of overall voters.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Forty-nine percent say the Democratic Party is too far left.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Half of Americans think the party is too far left.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Within the party, 63 percent say, you know, the porridge
- 5:06Speaker 3: is not too hot, not too cold.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It's just right.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Sixty-three percent say we're not too far either way. Any
- 5:12Speaker 3: reaction to that data?
- 5:13Speaker 2: No.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Yes, I have reaction to that data, Michael. Thank you
- 5:18Speaker 1: so much for asking. Put it to the side. Put
- 5:22Speaker 1: it to the side for a moment. This isn't polling data.
- 5:25Speaker 1: This is this is survey stuff. Do we believe that
- 5:30Speaker 1: Americans believe half of America believes that the left has
- 5:33Speaker 1: gone too far? I think that number is soft personally.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But man, does that comport with the philosophy that Americans
- 5:44Speaker 1: believe that Democrats are crazier than Republicans have screwed things up.
- 5:47Speaker 1: For Republicans, they lose that second part. They lose the
- 5:50Speaker 1: thought of it. Republicans should know that Americans think they've
- 5:53Speaker 1: screwed it up. They handed you the keys and said,
- 5:56Speaker 1: do this thing. And you didn't really do that thing.
- 5:58Speaker 1: You didn't communicate that thing. And Trump still wants you
- 6:01Speaker 1: to believe the elections about him. I saw Andrew Colvett,
- 6:04Speaker 1: who is who is, of course, Charlie Kirk's longtime producer,
- 6:08Speaker 1: has been doing the show after Charlie Kirk's assassination. Say
- 6:11Speaker 1: the best thing Trump has done is talk about how
- 6:15Speaker 1: he's on the ballot. I could not disagree more. I
- 6:17Speaker 1: think it's a radically bad idea. The argument has to
- 6:22Speaker 1: be these people are crazy. Republicans are just dumb and
- 6:27Speaker 1: you got to keep kicking them in the butt. These
- 6:30Speaker 1: people are out of their heads. And the only interesting
- 6:34Speaker 1: thing about that data, and again, survey, not polling, right?
- 6:38Speaker 1: If we see these things differently, and we do, that
- 6:44Speaker 1: you know that that number is accurate, if not soft.
- 6:48Speaker 1: That is where America is. We have understood this election
- 6:52Speaker 1: from the beginning. What the results are going to be,
- 6:54Speaker 1: I don't know. Every trend is on the side of
- 6:57Speaker 1: the Democrats. My guess, Republicans keep the Senate, and I'm
- 7:01Speaker 1: just going out on a limb to say Republicans keep
- 7:03Speaker 1: the House. Why not? If I don't believe the polls,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I don't believe the polls. I believe Americans. And half
- 7:10Speaker 1: of Americans thinking that the left is nuts? Yeah. That's,
- 7:17Speaker 1: if a little soft, but probably right.
