- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's time for stacks and hacks.
- 0:01Speaker 2: I have stacks of information and Rich has life hacks.
- 0:06Speaker 2: There's something that's trending pretty big with men. Men only
- 0:11Speaker 2: Pilates classes are growing in popularity. But instructors are saying
- 0:17Speaker 2: that a lot of men think Pilates will be easy. Yep.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It is not. I am one of those. And then
- 0:24Speaker 1: these men are getting humbled quickly.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Yes.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I am one of those.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I've taken two Pilates classes, two different kind. I've taken
- 0:30Speaker 2: the kind on the floor and I've taken the kind
- 0:31Speaker 2: on the machine. Both times I couldn't walk the next day.
- 0:34Speaker 4: One of my friends, she's a Pilates instructor and her
- 0:37Speaker 4: husband plays basketball overseas. So anytime he's back in town,
- 0:41Speaker 4: she always puts him through workouts in her Pilates class
- 0:43Speaker 4: and she records him. And this man struggles. And I'm like,
- 0:48Speaker 4: you are like making like a million dollars in one
- 0:51Speaker 4: season over in China or wherever you're at. And you
- 0:54Speaker 4: can't even hang with the girly pops in their cute socks.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:58Speaker 2: This is also, I've seen this the last three days
- 1:01Speaker 2: in the news. This story has gotten big. The guy
- 1:04Speaker 2: in Virginia on a motorcycle got pulled over speeding because
- 1:07Speaker 2: he was going really, really, really fast. And the cop
- 1:10Speaker 2: pulled him over and said, why are you going so fast?
- 1:12Speaker 2: Here's why he was going so fast.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I was moving a little quick, wasn't I? Yeah, way
- 1:16Speaker 1: too fast.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I was trying to hit the McDonald's breakfast.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Coming from there in here is like two minutes.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I know. I got you.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Totally get that. I can see you were rushing. 72,
- 1:26Speaker 1: it's way too fast. No, actually, valid.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Like, don't speed, but I get it.
- 1:30Speaker 1: He missed breakfast, so he was calling us. And those
- 1:32Speaker 1: hash browns. Exactly.
- 1:34Speaker 4: And McDonald's, they have that hard cut off. If you
- 1:36Speaker 4: were not in line at 10.30, you ain't getting it.
- 1:39Speaker 1: You ever use that crazy excuse to get out of
- 1:40Speaker 1: a speeding ticket?
- 1:41Speaker 3: Me? Yeah.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I'm sure I have.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Because I wonder if he was probably hoping the cops
- 1:45Speaker 2: would go, oh, yeah, I get it.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I'm sure I have. I'm sorry I pulled you over.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I remember when my wife and I were trying to
- 1:53Speaker 2: conceive and we were going through the infertility stuff, I
- 1:55Speaker 2: had to drop off a sample.
- 1:57Speaker 1: You know, all my fellows.
- 1:59Speaker 2: And I was rushing because there's a time frame and
- 2:01Speaker 2: I got pulled over and I had my sample in
- 2:04Speaker 2: a brown paper bag and the cop was like, pulled
- 2:06Speaker 2: me over and goes, why are you speeding?
- 2:07Speaker 1: And I go, here's why.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I go, I'm trying to have a baby with my
- 2:10Speaker 2: wife and I hold the bag up and I go,
- 2:11Speaker 2: this is my sperm sample.
- 2:13Speaker 1: He goes, I've been a cop for 20 years. I've
- 2:15Speaker 1: never heard that before. He's like, go on, get out
- 2:18Speaker 1: of here.
- 2:20Speaker 2: More than $ 10 million worth of cocaine stored in a
- 2:25Speaker 2: courtroom as evidence was found to have been replaced with flour.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 1: What a heist. What does that tell you? Somebody stole
- 2:34Speaker 1: the cocaine. That's epic. There's some dirty police. There's some
- 2:37Speaker 1: dirty police and stuff. Yeah. That is nuts.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Because you could tell the difference.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Well, I would think so.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:44Speaker 1: That is so insane.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Do you know how in the TV shows, though, there's
- 2:47Speaker 3: always some guy who's got a knife and he cuts
- 2:49Speaker 3: the bag open and puts it on his tongue? He's like, cocaine.
- 2:51Speaker 3: I don't think I would know how to do that.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I would do it and then you'd be like, oh.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I think like your mouth goes numb. That's why they
- 2:58Speaker 4: do that.
- 2:59Speaker 3: That's how they know? Yeah.
- 3:00Speaker 2: A Florida mom is accused of leaving her four kids
- 3:03Speaker 2: at home alone for days when she went on a cruise,
- 3:05Speaker 2: included is a two-year-old and a two-month-old.
- 3:09Speaker 1: This is the woman. She's being scolded by the judge.
- 3:13Speaker 3: You cannot make this up. She said she went on
- 3:15Speaker 3: a cruise and left her children home alone.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Including a two-month-old baby.
- 3:19Speaker 1: She's going to drop them off at the mother's house,
- 3:21Speaker 1: but never did.
- 3:22Speaker 2: These poor kids, we're home alone for three days.
- 3:26Speaker 3: If you would agree to supervised visitation. I don't think
- 3:30Speaker 3: I want to do that.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Who leaves the kids, four little kids alone?
- 3:33Speaker 3: Judge, it's an allegation at this time.
- 3:34Speaker 1: To go on a cruise.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Judge, at this time, it's only an allegation. She denies
- 3:39Speaker 3: the allegation. They arrested her disembarking from the cruise ship.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Isn't that crazy? And that judge is like, are you stupid?
- 3:46Speaker 3: A two month old. She's going to drop him off
- 3:49Speaker 3: and decide, well, I can't be late for the cruise.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's disturbing. The older kids, the four year old will
- 3:53Speaker 1: take care of the two month old. Okay.
- 3:55Speaker 4: The four year old probably can't even make their own
- 3:57Speaker 4: ramen noodles right now.
- 3:58Speaker 1: No, definitely not.
- 4:00Speaker 2: 48% of Americans are what's called career cushioning, which is
- 4:03Speaker 2: exploring what backup options they have if their current job
- 4:07Speaker 2: doesn't work out. I interviewed On the highly successful John
- 4:12Speaker 2: Giovannis podcast the other day, and it's coming out probably
- 4:14Speaker 2: in a week or two, Matt Peterson. Matt Peterson has
- 4:17Speaker 2: almost 7 million followers on TikTok.
- 4:18Speaker 1: He's from here. We've had him.
- 4:19Speaker 2: He's got famous because of us. He's the guy that
- 4:21Speaker 2: asked Molly to Cypress to prom. Now he travels the world.
- 4:24Speaker 2: He's a huge TikToker. I said to him, I go,
- 4:27Speaker 2: what would you do if TikTok went away tomorrow? What
- 4:29Speaker 2: would you do? Like, what's your backup plan?
- 4:32Speaker 1: And he had one. Guess what it is. What is it?
- 4:35Speaker 1: Doing a radio show.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 4:37Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like, oh, way to go, Matt.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Okay. But Rachel, what do you got for life hacks?
- 4:41Speaker 3: All right, well, so here's a little mind hack for
- 4:43Speaker 3: eating healthy. In fact, experts say this is one of
- 4:45Speaker 3: the best ways to actually help you lose weight. Are
- 4:50Speaker 3: you interested now, Peyton?
- 4:52Speaker 4: Yes, I'm trying to be, what do they say.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Slim thick. Okay, so you're trying to be what? Slim thick.
- 4:59Speaker 1: What does slim thick mean?
- 5:00Speaker 4: It means you're slim, but you're also thick. It's like
- 5:02Speaker 4: you got a tiny waist, but a fat, you know?
- 5:04Speaker 3: Oh, you remember those videos that they called abs of
- 5:09Speaker 3: steel in buns of steel? I have abs of buns.
- 5:13Speaker 1: That's what I have.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Okay, anyway, so if you pack your lunch when you're hungry,
- 5:19Speaker 3: like they say you should bring your lunch, but don't
- 5:21Speaker 3: pack it when you're hungry because then everything in your
- 5:23Speaker 3: kitchen looks pretty good. Instead, they say pack tomorrow's lunch
- 5:27Speaker 3: right after you finish dinner. Since you're already full, you
- 5:29Speaker 3: may be less tempted to overpack or toss in extra
- 5:32Speaker 3: snacks just because they look good in the moment. And
- 5:34Speaker 3: they say most people who do that, they say to
- 5:36Speaker 3: do this when you're grocery shopping too.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Eat lunch and then go to the grocery store. Same
- 5:41Speaker 1: thing when you're packing your lunch.
- 5:42Speaker 3: They say most people who do this can lose up
- 5:44Speaker 3: to three or four pounds extra a month. So try
- 5:47Speaker 3: that little lunch and dinner life hack out. And that
- 5:50Speaker 3: can be found at johnjandridge.com.
