Transcript
- 0:08Speaker 1: Well, I invited you here. I thought I made myself
- 0:14Speaker 1: perfectly clear. When you're a guest to my home, you
- 0:21Speaker 1: gotta come to me empty. And I said, no, guests,
- 0:27Speaker 1: your presences presence enough, and I already had too much stuff.
- 0:35Speaker 2: So how do you dare to surbey me?
- 0:49Speaker 3: Hello, it's Bridge, your host of the show. I just
- 0:51Speaker 3: want to quickly invite and demand that you come join
- 0:54Speaker 3: us on Patreon. We are having the time of our lives.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Bonus episodes, two bonus episodes, a months video, whatever I
- 1:01Speaker 3: feel like posting. It's threatening to become my blog, and
- 1:05Speaker 3: I hope that doesn't feel like a threat. We're having
- 1:07Speaker 3: a great time over there, experimenting with the show and
- 1:09Speaker 3: having old friends on, and it's a great way to support.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I said no gifts, and I think in the end,
- 1:15Speaker 3: the only thing any of us really wants is to
- 1:19Speaker 3: support a podcast. I think I speak for everyone when
- 1:22Speaker 3: I say that, So no excuses. Get over there Patreon
- 1:26Speaker 3: dot com slash. I said, no gifts. Come join us
- 1:29Speaker 3: and have a wonderful time. And now let's get into
- 1:31Speaker 3: this episode, which is just oh, this is quite a show.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Welcome to I said no gifts. I'm Bridger weineger Oh,
- 1:41Speaker 3: here we are. It's the fifth anniversary episode. What does
- 1:45Speaker 3: that mean for anyone? What does that mean for me?
- 1:48Speaker 3: What does that mean for you? Well, it means for
- 1:51Speaker 3: the last three days, I've been thinking about Tunic's I've
- 1:53Speaker 3: been thinking about what Tunic I would wear. Because we
- 1:55Speaker 3: are this is more of a video production, although you
- 1:58Speaker 3: know you'll be listening to the audios. So if you're
- 2:00Speaker 3: listening to the audio, you'll just have to picture me
- 2:02Speaker 3: at my very best. I was just smoking. The smoke
- 2:05Speaker 3: is now out. I don't condone smoking unless you're doing
- 2:09Speaker 3: a podcast. But the last three days I've just been
- 2:12Speaker 3: thinking about which Tunic I would wear. I ordered several
- 2:16Speaker 3: online and they were all essentially long T shirts that
- 2:21Speaker 3: barely covered my ass. They were not appropriate for YouTube
- 2:25Speaker 3: or for audio for that matter, so we just you know,
- 2:27Speaker 3: I defaulted to my classic Kiki Sole. I've redied it.
- 2:33Speaker 3: You have to keep these things fresh or the audience
- 2:35Speaker 3: freaks out. This is the third color of the Kiki
- 2:37Speaker 3: Sole has been I'm just going to take off my robe,
- 2:40Speaker 3: so if you're just listening, listen for a soft fabric
- 2:43Speaker 3: falling off of my body and then continue to imagine
- 2:46Speaker 3: me at my best. Oh there we go. Not quite
- 2:52Speaker 3: as hot as I was going to take a drink. Okay,
- 2:56Speaker 3: I'm feeling so much better. It is the fifth Anniverse
- 3:00Speaker 3: three episode on Elise demanded that they be here, so
- 3:04Speaker 3: we're just looking for odd jobs for them to do
- 3:06Speaker 3: around the house. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here thinking about the
- 3:10Speaker 3: last five years. We launched in March of twenty twenty,
- 3:14Speaker 3: March twelfth of twenty twenty, and obviously it was the
- 3:19Speaker 3: biggest buzz online that day. People couldn't stop talking about
- 3:22Speaker 3: the podcast, which was very flattering. The world was going
- 3:26Speaker 3: kind of bananas, and I don't remember anything else happening
- 3:29Speaker 3: in the last five years. But I think it goes
- 3:32Speaker 3: without saying that I've had it harder than anyone else.
- 3:39Speaker 3: So keep that in mind while we record, and while
- 3:41Speaker 3: you leave your reviews online or attack me or whatever.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I don't know what you can even see as far
- 3:48Speaker 3: as my body goes in this tunic, and that's fine.
- 3:51Speaker 3: That's kind of the excitement of video and tunics, and
- 3:56Speaker 3: it's a journey for all of us. My legs are
- 3:59Speaker 3: deeply exposed. Is there anything else we need to talk about?
- 4:04Speaker 3: Let's see the rest of my I mean, let's just say,
- 4:07Speaker 3: you know, I'm constantly talking about Found Coffee, my local
- 4:10Speaker 3: coffee shop, and I'm always trying to give them free promotion.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I tried to go there today. They were under renovation,
- 4:16Speaker 3: but they'll be open Thursday, so I'll be back Thursday.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Had to go to a different place for my coffee.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I thought you should know. Oh, I mean, there's a
- 4:24Speaker 3: chance that this piece of audio, you know, humanity's wiped out,
- 4:28Speaker 3: the earth is destroyed, and there is a chance that
- 4:30Speaker 3: this is the only thing that remains. And can you imagine?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Can you imagine? Do you ever think about the end
- 4:37Speaker 3: of the world. Okay, I think it's time to get
- 4:40Speaker 3: into the podcast. You know, when you have a fifth anniversary.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I'm all over the I'm all over the sofa right now.
- 4:48Speaker 3: It's a good, very good excuse to demand that favorites
- 4:51Speaker 3: come back, that people that have busier lives than you
- 4:55Speaker 3: make the time for the podcast. And so I thought,
- 4:58Speaker 3: why not reach out to on one of my all
- 5:00Speaker 3: time favorites, one of everyone's all time favorites, Chris Fleming. Chris,
- 5:06Speaker 3: Oh my god, oh welcomed. I said, no.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Gifts than you do you want me to touch you
- 5:14Speaker 4: or not.
- 5:15Speaker 3: You can touch me, you know, any way you want.
- 5:17Speaker 2: You're like Weber, I haven't. I haven't been allowed access
- 5:21Speaker 2: to Bridger. I've been waiting in the Bridger is now
- 5:24Speaker 2: operating out of what feels like a wellness center. It's
- 5:28Speaker 2: a very new build, but for a new build, it
- 5:30Speaker 2: still has a pretty haunted vibe.
- 5:32Speaker 3: But the air is dry. Yes, there's no mildew. No no, no,
- 5:36Speaker 3: you're very black mold.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Oh no no, but I'm hearing I'm hearing breathing from
- 5:41Speaker 2: offices that are what feel like half a mile away.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Being piped in from. Yeah, probably Studio City, It's probably.
- 5:48Speaker 3: It feels like where you would have an after prom.
- 5:52Speaker 3: You remember, you just feel very after when you would
- 5:54Speaker 3: get locked in.
- 5:55Speaker 2: But here here actually feels like a pediatrician's office with
- 6:00Speaker 2: or like a children's.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Dentist and just as many cameras, I assume, yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yeah. And also also while you were doing your intro,
- 6:08Speaker 2: everyone's like stifling laugh.
- 6:09Speaker 4: I'm like, it's Fridger making people silent?
- 6:13Speaker 3: Are you?
- 6:13Speaker 2: Are they not?
- 6:14Speaker 4: People like.
- 6:16Speaker 3: You pull up and you just hear me screaming at people.
- 6:20Speaker 3: It was just quiet.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's almost like you know, in the beginning of
- 6:23Speaker 2: Mission Impossible. Like you know how they always do those
- 6:25Speaker 2: little ruises to like out of someone.
- 6:28Speaker 4: It's like trying, We're trying to not get.
- 6:32Speaker 3: We're in a submarine right now.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it feels like a sting operation.
- 6:39Speaker 2: That.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I mean, this is before we can talk about other things,
- 6:41Speaker 3: but I just want to really quickly point out that
- 6:43Speaker 3: I've recently learned that I can't pay attention to spy movies.
- 6:46Speaker 3: You I saw the sort of black bag I had.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Do you know what this is? The Cate Blanchette who
- 6:52Speaker 3: Now I'm forgetting the man other guy. That's very that's
- 6:56Speaker 3: very modern forgetting men. Yeah.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Fort av Club right about a movie they're covering, and
- 7:04Speaker 2: I forget that. I forget the guy's guy Pierce a.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Culture review of that is very forgetful of man. But
- 7:12Speaker 3: I saw this thing and it was so sexy and exciting.
- 7:14Speaker 3: But when people start talking about spy logistics, Oh, I
- 7:18Speaker 3: just have to trust the filmmaker. I have to watch
- 7:21Speaker 3: a spot.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I luckily watch Mission Impossible just because Tom almost called
- 7:24Speaker 2: him Hanks Cruise is like the choices he makes, you know.
- 7:28Speaker 3: My team is dead. They're all dead because it's celebration.
- 7:33Speaker 4: I have to watch it for that.
- 7:35Speaker 2: But I think it's taken me one hundred and fifty
- 7:37Speaker 2: times to finally get the general emotional arc.
- 7:41Speaker 4: And I'm still not geopolitical.
- 7:43Speaker 3: It's so difficult.
- 7:44Speaker 4: It's impost.
- 7:45Speaker 3: So when there's like a big twist at the end,
- 7:47Speaker 3: I'm like, well, I probably would have felt this.
- 7:50Speaker 4: You can hear in a movie theater people go.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Like, I guess they laid the pieces down, and I
- 7:56Speaker 3: just wasn't really following.
- 7:57Speaker 4: You know what I hate in spy movies, comic relief.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Oh, it's a tough.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Oh whoops.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Oh okay, Oh, I've got plenty of time to do that.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Then he wouldn't make it.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Do the background check. That person is not a serious person,
- 8:11Speaker 3: serious person, and this is very serious. Yes, you know
- 8:14Speaker 3: in your.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Ear piece you don't want to be hearing little little
- 8:17Speaker 2: witticisms clips.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Oh yes, Oh, certainly, I've got the time for this.
- 8:21Speaker 3: The only way you can do that is if you
- 8:23Speaker 3: build in that his dad works at the agency, and
- 8:26Speaker 3: then it's like, okay, we kind of get why Simon
- 8:28Speaker 3: Peg keeps getting a chance. Simon Peg, I've never said
- 8:32Speaker 3: that Peg, that's a great question.
- 8:35Speaker 4: It sounds like a bike shop.
- 8:36Speaker 3: I know Simon Peg, but it sounds like And then
- 8:39Speaker 3: when I hear Simon Peg, I think of Hot Chip,
- 8:41Speaker 3: and I don't think he's a member of Hot Chip,
- 8:42Speaker 3: so he kind of is. He probably has. I'm a
- 8:45Speaker 3: member of Hotship. I would believe you are. I was
- 8:49Speaker 3: in the early tens.
- 8:50Speaker 4: You're in Phoenix, I'm in Hot Chip.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Well, this is where I reveal I'm French and I'm
- 8:55Speaker 3: married to Sophia a couple.
- 8:56Speaker 2: What do you mean you've revealed you were French through subliminally,
- 8:59Speaker 2: I think on March twelve, twenty twenty.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Through a lot of weeks and subliminal messaging.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Did you say that you dropped? So you were saying
- 9:07Speaker 2: first of all, they out the tuning tune is from market.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I'm so sorry.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Can we get it? Okay?
- 9:12Speaker 3: I hope that's captured the upisode there as much of
- 9:14Speaker 3: we need to find up skirt.
- 9:20Speaker 4: With Bridget.
- 9:24Speaker 3: You're you're a coworker is my original gift? I mean
- 9:28Speaker 3: you were here, you were on the show August or
- 9:31Speaker 3: maybe sometime in twenty twenty, late twenty twenty. It is
- 9:34Speaker 3: an absolute haze, but there is a clear I have
- 9:39Speaker 3: a very clear. This thing just keeps coming up. I mean, look,
- 9:42Speaker 3: I'm glad I wore the under where I'm wearing now.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I mean the way I've accidentally exposed myself for like
- 9:47Speaker 2: entire shows, like stage show, like there's nothing that you
- 9:51Speaker 2: could do for me.
- 9:52Speaker 3: But the audience seats it up. They're begging for it.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Not the family, not the family show, not the birthday parties.
- 10:00Speaker 2: No, but I went to my niece's birthday party and
- 10:03Speaker 2: she had a magician named Awesome Rob, and he fucking cried.
- 10:09Speaker 2: What did he do? Oh?
- 10:11Speaker 4: He did everything he did an hour.
- 10:12Speaker 3: He saw someone in half.
- 10:14Speaker 4: No, it was for three year old saw a three
- 10:16Speaker 4: year old half.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it was. The parents are concerned, truly.
- 10:24Speaker 2: It was like a Baptist like church like like the
- 10:27Speaker 2: reaction that the kids they were like it.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Was by any of the things.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I was doing. I was I couldn't stop. And I
- 10:36Speaker 2: don't typically do this. I don't do this with media.
- 10:38Speaker 2: This has been a problem people. I don't put myself
- 10:40Speaker 2: into things, okay, but I was putting myself into this.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I was trying to no, no, I was trying to
- 10:47Speaker 2: picture if I was in the parking lot about to
- 10:49Speaker 2: have because you know, I dread doing shows, and I
- 10:51Speaker 2: was imagining going into a living room.
- 10:53Speaker 3: To do as awesome rob Oh, can you imagine pulling
- 10:57Speaker 3: up to the house and being like, should be at
- 11:02Speaker 3: the Magic Castle?
- 11:03Speaker 2: You got this like it's the same for any show
- 11:06Speaker 2: you know, of course, no line off, trying to imagine
- 11:14Speaker 2: if there were.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Do you know how fuck? Is this your sister's kid?
- 11:23Speaker 2: Sorry, not a niece. It's a okay, all the world,
- 11:27Speaker 2: any child's a niece. It's my cousins, and my cousins
- 11:32Speaker 2: are like okay, which is a hards like sisters to
- 11:37Speaker 2: cut shut it all down. This is your last show?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Can I enter again? I'm sorry, I'll light the cigarette
- 11:45Speaker 3: back up.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Oh my god, your timer.
- 11:48Speaker 3: This is a bomb. When this gets to seventeen minutes,
- 11:51Speaker 3: we die. I can't go for seventeen.
- 11:54Speaker 4: I saw Matt. You and Matt did Matt? You guys
- 11:57Speaker 4: were outside matting.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Bruton was just on the Patreon show. This is actually
- 12:00Speaker 3: a recent addition to.
- 12:01Speaker 4: The uh you hide him behind the paywall?
- 12:04Speaker 3: I hide him behind You've got someone that tall, You've
- 12:05Speaker 3: got to put behind.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Him, someone with that posture. Yeah, coorse o, my god,
- 12:09Speaker 2: he's almost leaning, he's almost Yeah.
- 12:10Speaker 3: It's getting backwards. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Chris, you got to
- 12:13Speaker 3: start doing That's.
- 12:14Speaker 2: What he does.
- 12:15Speaker 3: He's always recommending. He's trying to coach everybody because you're.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Going to hurt yourself on stage if you don't start
- 12:19Speaker 2: taking care of your body in your forties.
- 12:21Speaker 3: He has advice for everybody. He's the listener. This is
- 12:24Speaker 3: Matt Ingebretson, who was the first guest on the show
- 12:26Speaker 3: by the Worse. Yeah, but he's constantly I think as
- 12:28Speaker 3: a straight tall man, you just have advice. You're overflowing
- 12:32Speaker 3: with things to tell other people.
- 12:33Speaker 2: He's but but he's he's so like, usually my guys
- 12:39Speaker 2: are not helpful.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Oh sure, but they're confident. They're confident.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no right, it's usually like, dude, we should
- 12:46Speaker 2: we should move to Buffalo and be contractors.
- 12:51Speaker 3: This was awesome Rob in the bathroom of that birthday party.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Chris is playing Awesome Raw. I'm in trouble.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I think his name is Awesome Raw better.
- 13:02Speaker 3: But he gave me this little frame photo Steven Spielberg. Yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 3: so that's very cute. I can put that on that.
- 13:07Speaker 3: That could be a ring.
- 13:09Speaker 2: There we go, Could I wear this as a ring?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Oh, that's not a bad idea.
- 13:13Speaker 2: No, it's too big. That could be a pinky ring.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Do we say brooch or brooch?
- 13:17Speaker 4: It's spelled brooch, we say broke.
- 13:20Speaker 3: That's one of those words I never say in cool
- 13:24Speaker 3: company because I'm like, I'm going to be exposed to
- 13:26Speaker 3: someone who went through U top public education.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I save it for podcasts to try it out. Yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 2: somehow crossed in the double O is a is a?
- 13:40Speaker 3: Where does the brooch come? Is that that must be German? Oh?
- 13:44Speaker 2: Oh yes, double O's Scandinavian.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Oh that's probably true. An open faced sandwich.
- 13:49Speaker 2: It's European. Yes, it is a croc monsieur. It's an
- 13:55Speaker 2: open casket croc monsieur.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Awake.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Did you ever have a croc? Is a kroke, Madame?
- 14:03Speaker 2: Yes, I've had in a little skirt and guy eyelashes
- 14:06Speaker 2: and then a monsieur has a fucking gun.
- 14:10Speaker 3: And left his family a long time ago.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah it does not. He's not even
- 14:15Speaker 2: talking to his parents.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I think the croke Madame has a like a Frida
- 14:20Speaker 3: egg on top. I think there's something, I mean, there's
- 14:23Speaker 3: some kind.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Of weird that's a little on the nose.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Yeah, there's like a weird sexuality something going on. They
- 14:31Speaker 3: really thought about the sex of both of these sandwiches.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Oh, oh, totally.
- 14:35Speaker 2: The French they don't mind being they're not They're not
- 14:37Speaker 2: going to not be stopping genders.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Oh of course they'll go all over it, you know.
- 14:41Speaker 3: And then meanwhile, the Croke Monsieur, I think is just
- 14:43Speaker 3: almost a French toast ham sandwich that's addicted to online gaming.
- 14:50Speaker 3: They will not leave his ex girlfriend alone. He's harassing,
- 14:55Speaker 3: totally stalking. No, I know the Croque Monsieur because I
- 15:02Speaker 3: took in high school probably a total of eight different
- 15:06Speaker 3: semesters of food class.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Oh oh wow, that's a twist. I thought we were
- 15:10Speaker 4: going to say.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, no, who do you think you're talking about?
- 15:13Speaker 2: I forget how much writing you've done.
- 15:16Speaker 3: And you also forget I'm frenchy. Why bother? No, I
- 15:20Speaker 3: was learning to cook things in a microwave.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Eight semesters of of food which was called foods.
- 15:28Speaker 4: It's not homeck, it's food.
- 15:29Speaker 3: No. In middle school we started started off with HOMEC,
- 15:33Speaker 3: which was a subcategory of what was called TLC. Are
- 15:36Speaker 3: you following it? TLC was kind.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Of life skills.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I wonder what it was called it's probably true life
- 15:45Speaker 3: consequences traspasts They kind of utah, So, I mean we
- 15:56Speaker 3: were learning to sew, we were learning to cook, we
- 16:00Speaker 3: were learning to type. It was kind of like learning
- 16:02Speaker 3: to work in Don Draper's office essentially.
- 16:07Speaker 4: But the home cross legged on the side of a death.
- 16:10Speaker 4: That's well Semester.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Just thinking when Don is going to leave his wife.
- 16:17Speaker 3: He keeps promising me.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Do you feel like you could watch mad Men? I
- 16:22Speaker 2: feel like you could watch mad Men. It could freeze
- 16:25Speaker 2: and you could still be watching it. You know, I
- 16:26Speaker 2: feel like there's watch movement.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you think like you could forget that it was.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it could be loading and you could still be watching.
- 16:35Speaker 3: There are shows like that where I don't know, it's
- 16:37Speaker 3: frozen about ten minutes. For a few minutes. You want
- 16:40Speaker 3: to be like, well, maybe this is a choice, and
- 16:42Speaker 3: I don't want to embarrass myself and be the person
- 16:44Speaker 3: who tried to fast.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Forward through them, even if you're alone.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I mean, do you know what actually that happened? Was
- 16:49Speaker 3: the Sopranos documentary? Did you see this thing?
- 16:52Speaker 2: I still haven't seen the Sopranos. I'm saving that for
- 16:54Speaker 2: one on the Lamb or something. I'm saving a bunch
- 16:57Speaker 2: of stuff.
- 16:57Speaker 3: You've an awesome rob on a motel bed Burton earning
- 17:02Speaker 3: free HBO.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Yeah, h you feel like h I feel like HBO
- 17:07Speaker 2: needs to obviously it's too dark, and then Netflix needs
- 17:09Speaker 2: to dim their lights.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Oh my god, dim They need to fully shut off.
- 17:13Speaker 2: It feels like I had to watch a show to
- 17:15Speaker 2: get ready for something tonally and it was like it
- 17:19Speaker 2: felt It feels like last call at a bar.
- 17:21Speaker 3: It's like a tesla coming out at you with its light,
- 17:23Speaker 3: like you've got to turn.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Off your brides right right. It's like when et ship
- 17:28Speaker 2: lands close.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Encounters Jesus Christ.
- 17:33Speaker 4: They're all translucent.
- 17:34Speaker 3: No, they really do have commercial lighting on Netflix. That's
- 17:37Speaker 3: what it is. And I don't understand someone. They have
- 17:40Speaker 3: a lot of employees. Somebody's gotta maybe you know, it's.
- 17:42Speaker 2: It's wor they're wearing sunglasses and so they have to there.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Then they watch it after not wearing sunglasses, like, oh
- 17:47Speaker 2: we should have how are we all wearing sunglasses?
- 17:51Speaker 3: And the program won't let us edit it's uploaded. Yeah,
- 17:56Speaker 3: uh no, there's something going on with Netflix. I feel
- 17:59Speaker 3: like they still a long way to go before they
- 18:02Speaker 3: can be known as like something I can really trust,
- 18:05Speaker 3: I can trust, not even respect, trust babysit, my kids.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the stand up specials Jesus Christ.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I mean we will just touch on this briefly, because
- 18:15Speaker 3: there's a stand up special currently on Netflix which is
- 18:19Speaker 3: one of the most evil things I've ever seen. An
- 18:22Speaker 3: evil politically, politically I can't remember the guy's name. Everybody
- 18:26Speaker 3: seems to know who this person is.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Is it that guy who is like your friend in
- 18:30Speaker 2: middle school who you're like, you tolerant, then afterwards you're like,
- 18:33Speaker 2: I don't need to la with.
- 18:34Speaker 3: This fucking guy. I think it's even worse than that.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Okay, okay, like Charlie Horst, that's yeah.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Then when you when you say that hurts, he says,
- 18:43Speaker 3: I was kidding, dude, kidding physical. He's one up from
- 18:49Speaker 3: Hane Gillis. Yeah, Jane Gillis has got the show about tires. Yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 3: and he at least goes I'm kidding. Yeah, this kid
- 18:56Speaker 3: is just there to hurt.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Who are we talking about?
- 18:59Speaker 3: I wish he has a podcast. And the guy who
- 19:03Speaker 3: plays arenas Yes, the devil truly horrific. I could not
- 19:07Speaker 3: believe that this was on a mainstream.
- 19:10Speaker 4: I'm playing like airports.
- 19:11Speaker 3: He's not like like he's playing the person sitting next
- 19:14Speaker 3: to at the airport.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I mean like the.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Sheer size where what do you call that? Sorry, I
- 19:22Speaker 3: was going to say an airplane warehouse at LAX.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yeah. No, no, that guy.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I mean I I again, we should move on because
- 19:29Speaker 3: I don't want to spend too much time talking about
- 19:32Speaker 3: earth devils. We can get into the Satan, but it's
- 19:36Speaker 3: just like Netflix is just you know, and I thought
- 19:40Speaker 3: we could trust corporations. You know.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Let's look guy Robbie Pratt, he's like three foot one.
- 19:44Speaker 2: He's in charge of he's in charge of the commedy specialist.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Oh and he's just he's.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Just under Joe Rogan's desk.
- 19:53Speaker 3: He's in the drawer of Yeah, next to a bottle
- 19:58Speaker 3: of ad Villain.
- 19:59Speaker 2: With assume the briefcates of cash that Joe that Joe
- 20:03Speaker 2: then gives to the Yeah, the dusty ridiculous.
- 20:05Speaker 3: I do think that they're like, there's there's one step
- 20:07Speaker 3: above being a thing that you can just like actively
- 20:10Speaker 3: upload whatever you want.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I I when you said upload earlier, you don't have
- 20:14Speaker 2: a fantasy about if we all could upload stuff to Netflix.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I guess YouTube. Oh, let's be great, have fun. Would that?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Oh I would love someone's upload.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Someone is uploading like we do, like you could.
- 20:24Speaker 3: There is somebody in a building, someone's time to up,
- 20:28Speaker 3: getting frustrated with the speed.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Like.
- 20:34Speaker 4: It's like Moneyball is uploading.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, you don't really think about the human element
- 20:42Speaker 3: of that. No, there is somebody that has to do that,
- 20:44Speaker 3: like this, like one of us going on Vimeo or whatever,
- 20:47Speaker 3: waiting for Instagram the slow thing.
- 20:49Speaker 2: And by the way, that's slow.
- 20:51Speaker 3: I never uploaded to Vimeo, Instagram. I they have I
- 20:55Speaker 3: think they have my number because it takes at least
- 20:59Speaker 3: half an hour to upload anything over forty five seconds.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Oh, I put it on. I put my phone on
- 21:04Speaker 2: like my WiFi thing, the motive, and I just leave.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Then if you.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Close out of it, it's like wait to hear a
- 21:10Speaker 3: sizzle y Yeah. And if you close out of it
- 21:14Speaker 3: and so all all bets are off.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like an asops fable.
- 21:19Speaker 2: You have to keep staring it in the eye otherwise
- 21:21Speaker 2: it's like, oh, it looks like you don't want this.
- 21:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you have to learn a lesson.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 3: And they've also kind of shadow blocked my favorite influencer
- 21:28Speaker 3: despite me interacting with all of her content. Beth Any Franklin,
- 21:33Speaker 3: her name's Turtle Creek Lane. She lives in Dallas.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Did she build this wellness in sug.
- 21:38Speaker 3: She's sponsoring the box. Yeah, she said, just don't look
- 21:41Speaker 3: at my content and you can have as much money
- 21:43Speaker 3: as you want.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Turtle Turtle Creek, Turtle Creek Lane. That's not an easy
- 21:47Speaker 2: one to say.
- 21:47Speaker 3: No, it's not. It's the streak. She lives on in
- 21:49Speaker 3: Dallas and she has she's boxing herself. She people know
- 21:54Speaker 3: exactly where she lives. People don't care about that anymore. No, no, no, no.
- 21:57Speaker 3: If you try to hide it, they can find you.
- 21:59Speaker 3: So if you're showing them, they're lining up outside. Of course,
- 22:03Speaker 3: I've considered going there now. The Turtle Creek Lane has
- 22:06Speaker 3: recently and this is this is a hard thing to
- 22:10Speaker 3: talk about. Her husband recently crashed in a helicopter. Is
- 22:13Speaker 3: he okay, he's okay, thank god?
- 22:14Speaker 2: Wow.
- 22:16Speaker 3: But so she is undergoing some things. He made it
- 22:18Speaker 3: out almost perfectly, and the other person the helicopter did
- 22:20Speaker 3: pass away, So it's a tough situation. So she is
- 22:23Speaker 3: going through something. But I will say she's my favorite influencer.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Turtle Creeklane, pure pure Mormon mom joy. Oh right right right,
- 22:31Speaker 3: she's decorating the house. She's going crazy. And Steve the
- 22:35Speaker 3: husband's alive.
- 22:36Speaker 4: That's great. So that's see, that's.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Great, that's great.
- 22:38Speaker 3: That's all we ask all we can ask for. That's
- 22:40Speaker 3: all I've asked for.
- 22:41Speaker 4: Is she gonna she?
- 22:43Speaker 2: Do you think eventually she's gonna her address will be
- 22:45Speaker 2: her name like twenty five Turtle Creek Lane with the
- 22:48Speaker 2: zip code the way that people, you know, people keep
- 22:52Speaker 2: like either like augment.
- 22:53Speaker 4: I guess that was kind of what P Diddy would.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Oh no, no, no, no, it's hard. There are a lot
- 22:59Speaker 3: of landmines this point. It's really hard to talk about
- 23:02Speaker 3: anything in existence with like, oh, well we should be
- 23:05Speaker 3: we should tiptoe.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Around without saying saying a name that we get a
- 23:08Speaker 2: laugh automatically at the comedy.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Store, if you just write down a list for me.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Three a m slought at the comedy store, I have
- 23:18Speaker 2: to follow Dorera.
- 23:20Speaker 3: I'll be physically attacking.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Yeah, just put me on the bucking broncos. That's the
- 23:28Speaker 2: only way that I could get up at the comedy store.
- 23:32Speaker 3: To integrate that into something you do. You should tour
- 23:35Speaker 3: with a bucking Bronco. That would be so you don't
- 23:38Speaker 3: even use it. Maybe if if you just feel like
- 23:40Speaker 3: it on occasion, just have it just set a tone. Yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 3: that feels like a nice comfortable thing to have around.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Podcast hosted from a bunking Bucking Bronco would be so good.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Everyone just fucking concussion. No one can hear by the
- 23:55Speaker 3: end like a bucking Bronco.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Are We're all fucked up? Me two seconds with my
- 24:03Speaker 2: spine like I'm I'm toast and suggestible. Yeah, my teeth
- 24:09Speaker 2: airt my bottom row is my top row, my legs
- 24:12Speaker 2: are my feet.
- 24:13Speaker 4: I'm fucked man, I'm like a c I'm like missed
- 24:16Speaker 4: potato head.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Have you been on a Bucking Bronco before?
- 24:22Speaker 2: No?
- 24:23Speaker 4: They never let me. They're like, you wouldn't last a
- 24:26Speaker 4: second on this. They're like your spirit, your spirit.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I feel your sir, there's a glow around. Yeah, step away.
- 24:34Speaker 2: They're like, wait you my job is just I'm face
- 24:36Speaker 2: to face with the horses. That's my job in the West.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Just like a comfort stern comfort.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's me.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Hey hey, hey, hey, hey.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Mind melding with the mare. I'm miss realizing we're kind.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Of we are kind of in a we're bringing this
- 24:54Speaker 3: back yet a green v oh, a green v right.
- 25:00Speaker 3: This is unbelievable.
- 25:01Speaker 2: You know what, you know what I'm going for? What
- 25:02Speaker 2: do you think I'm going for?
- 25:03Speaker 3: I feel like you're going for. You're somebody's like a
- 25:08Speaker 3: friend is coming over to stay the night, and you're
- 25:10Speaker 3: the dead. That's like reading a magazine. He's not watching TV,
- 25:13Speaker 3: but he's reading a magazine. He's like, you kids, be safe.
- 25:16Speaker 4: That's that is so good.
- 25:18Speaker 2: That's so much better than what I'm going I'm going
- 25:20Speaker 2: for Robin right, pen, and I think this is a bottle.
- 25:26Speaker 2: It's a movie I watched on a bus next to
- 25:28Speaker 2: a woman who I started crying and she goes, it's okay, baby,
- 25:31Speaker 2: me too. But it's robbin ye Pen, like doing like
- 25:36Speaker 2: basic woodworking.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Okay, like work. She's a woodworker.
- 25:40Speaker 4: She's like massaging a table.
- 25:43Speaker 2: She's a massuse. Yeah. It's like it's like I want
- 25:45Speaker 2: I want the vibe when I'm when I'm in my
- 25:47Speaker 2: non stage clothes, like you come see me at the
- 25:49Speaker 2: shop and I'm like, I'm I'm looking like I'm.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Is that I that's yes, Well that's a really this
- 25:57Speaker 3: is her as a child. So for you to recognize
- 25:59Speaker 3: her amazing. And it's a bad painting.

- 26:03Speaker 3: Yes?
- 26:03Speaker 2: Oh my god, so you Wow. Is it crazy to
- 26:06Speaker 2: see like people pop?

- 26:10Speaker 3: twenty one. I would say, yeah, you know, and.
- 26:13Speaker 2: You're Kim alan On right before Home Improvement, Tim alan On,
- 26:17Speaker 2: I think at eighty nine. Yes.

- 26:21Speaker 3: I knew there was something percolating there and I said it.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Was something relatable.
- 26:26Speaker 3: He was saying he was speaking for guys. Yeah, and
- 26:28Speaker 3: I said, we need more voices like this.
- 26:30Speaker 4: He was fed up.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I said, we need to put you opposite Patricia Richardson
- 26:35Speaker 3: and show the world who's the better sex. Yeah, come
- 26:38Speaker 3: on and will.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Give you JTT.

- 27:29Speaker 2: yeah you got the vision.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Let's fucking do this.
- 27:32Speaker 3: When someone tells you what type of haircut to have,
- 27:34Speaker 3: you probably should think about it. Yeah, because no one
- 27:36Speaker 3: ever does that. No what it says, this is how
- 27:38Speaker 3: your hair should be.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Look, you got to figure every every I'm so tired

- 27:44Speaker 2: Someone's like, hey do that, Thank god, especially when it's
- 27:48Speaker 2: like an adult.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Mom saying this is the hair Like, hey, dude.

- 28:07Speaker 3: an immediate change of look for you to Christian Rocker.
- 28:09Speaker 2: It would be Yeah, I would have to really start.
- 28:12Speaker 2: I would have to start from zero.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, just we've raised the building. Not that I
- 28:17Speaker 3: have credit.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I would lose anything that I've worked to build, it
- 28:21Speaker 2: would be it would be completely different.
- 28:24Speaker 4: It would be like moving would be like when you
- 28:26Speaker 4: move to La.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Yes, it's like this is the new thing. I don't
- 28:29Speaker 3: make friends comedy. You're got to impress people. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:34Speaker 3: maybe I'll try the bus system.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Right, you end up in Santa Monica.
- 28:43Speaker 3: You never people from that are not from LA don't
- 28:45Speaker 3: realize that's another country. Like getting to Santa Monica. You Yeah,
- 28:49Speaker 3: I would rather go travel to Tokyo. It's like way less.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Painful, it's easier.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Yeah, waysier. Are you're kidding me?
- 28:56Speaker 2: You know, you're so right?
- 28:57Speaker 3: No, it's agony. And then you get there you're like
- 29:01Speaker 3: t shirts.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I guess this is where they make the minions. I
- 29:04Speaker 2: had a general with the people that made the minions there,
- 29:07Speaker 2: you did.
- 29:08Speaker 3: There used to be a lot of general meetings that
- 29:09Speaker 3: happened over there. There was a lot of driving too, like.
- 29:12Speaker 4: Why are you here? Like I don't know.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Every person who came in contact with was asking that question.
- 29:20Speaker 2: The guy even here. The guy came to the door,
- 29:21Speaker 2: he's like, what's your name? He didn't want me to me.
- 29:24Speaker 3: He does the dead bolt before asking the question.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Because the windows are blackout.
- 29:30Speaker 3: They are smoky. Yeah, smoky windows. I ask, I said,
- 29:33Speaker 3: I'm not. I will not record in the studio until
- 29:35Speaker 3: the windows are smoked like my car.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Yeah, damn Bridgers really keeping it tight in here.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Well you did bring this. I saw you in twenty twenty.
- 29:49Speaker 3: You came to my house. I have a real strong
- 29:51Speaker 3: memory of that. They were like because you rarely saw people.
- 29:54Speaker 3: So I remember you showing up at my door. Sleeveless mask,
- 29:59Speaker 3: which is an interesting look.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Yeah, arms exposed, fully exposed to not exposed.
- 30:06Speaker 3: It was a different, very different time. Everything's okay, now
- 30:10Speaker 3: things worked out good. Okay, they have an allowance. So
- 30:24Speaker 3: there's a little timer back there that says this is
- 30:25Speaker 3: how long you can speak for. So Ana is sweating
- 30:28Speaker 3: before the caller. I have two hundred and thirty characters left.
- 30:32Speaker 3: So rules of Twitter. Okay, X, it's called X. Take
- 30:38Speaker 3: it seriously, could we please call it X. It's Christian name, yes,
- 30:43Speaker 3: actually no, it's Christian name is Twitter.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I suppose do we spell it X. It's Christian name
- 30:48Speaker 2: is Twitter, and its X name is it's confirmation meth name.
- 30:51Speaker 4: It's that's that's the final stage of the cross.
- 30:53Speaker 3: It became very religious in a religion that the family
- 30:56Speaker 3: was not comfortable with. Look, yes, there's nothing we could do.
- 31:00Speaker 3: The more we pushed, the more he backed away.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Whatever religion.
- 31:04Speaker 3: The Ottomans took all those empires, but yes, and then
- 31:08Speaker 3: became a piece of Yes.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, is that related Ottoman?
- 31:12Speaker 3: And it must be right?
- 31:14Speaker 4: That's what that's there.
- 31:15Speaker 3: I would love for it to be a coincidence.
- 31:17Speaker 2: But there are no coincidences.
- 31:18Speaker 3: There are choices and illusion. Everyone has a mushroom cut.
- 31:22Speaker 3: An Ottoman is a coincidence? Yeah, but yeah, you brought
- 31:28Speaker 3: this beautiful masquerade mask in a plastic bag. Yeah, in
- 31:31Speaker 3: a plastic bag.
- 31:32Speaker 4: It's really nice.
- 31:33Speaker 3: It's gorgeous. Oh god, it's really I mean, it's become.
- 31:37Speaker 3: It's right next to, by the way, an az Tech
- 31:39Speaker 3: death whistle. This is given to me by Drue TROGHI
- 31:42Speaker 3: do want me to blow it. It's an unpleasant noise.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Everyone plugged your ears. Okay, isn't that unpleasant?
- 31:52Speaker 4: I hear that. I hear that's a that's the sound
- 31:54Speaker 4: you hear at night.
- 31:55Speaker 3: There's you don't wake up to that. This is the
- 31:57Speaker 3: opposite of a live woods or the hills of any
- 32:03Speaker 3: kind a tree scream. You get.
- 32:07Speaker 4: That's the noise that you hear and you don't even
- 32:09Speaker 4: you don't even ask what it is.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Absolutely not absolutely what.
- 32:12Speaker 4: Animals can sound like?
- 32:13Speaker 3: People screaming, Oh, Tasmanian devil?
- 32:16Speaker 4: Do they make that?
- 32:17Speaker 3: I've been watching alone Australia. Tasmanian Devil's all, well they're
- 32:21Speaker 3: a rare are.
- 32:22Speaker 4: You talking about the luna?
- 32:23Speaker 3: The popular is the freed? They're going extinct. Meanwhile, they
- 32:30Speaker 3: kind of look like doxins, like if a docs, if
- 32:33Speaker 3: you cross bread, a doxin and a bear.
- 32:35Speaker 2: They're they're quite long.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Yeah, they're stretch jaws that can crush mustelids.
- 32:41Speaker 2: What's moustal It is like a wee I call I
- 32:43Speaker 2: think a dosin should be called a musta liid. It's
- 32:45Speaker 2: like a weasel or a stoat.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Is that like the umbrella that a weasels under.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Yes, it's like if you were to brave heart torture
- 32:53Speaker 2: any kind of critter, they become a mustelid. And so
- 32:56Speaker 2: I I made a push durm pandemic to get dosins
- 32:59Speaker 2: included in the mustalid family.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Then didn't really fair?
- 33:03Speaker 3: That's really fair?
- 33:04Speaker 2: Actually, people decidt it was kidding around. You can't you.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Know no one takes everything.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Oh oh, he's doing one of his bits. Too late
- 33:14Speaker 2: for a bit. I'm too tired to be doing a bit.
- 33:16Speaker 3: I know I can't do bits. You kidding me?
- 33:18Speaker 4: Bits make a docs and a moustalid.
- 33:20Speaker 3: I'm done. I'm going to bed. Tell me when it's
- 33:22Speaker 3: a I barely have the energy to be honest. And
- 33:27Speaker 3: I grew up near a mink farm. Do you imagine
- 33:29Speaker 3: anything more mortifying? Where they would kill the minks. They
- 33:32Speaker 3: would kill the minks. Our church was right next to
- 33:34Speaker 3: the mink farm. And I'm sorry to tell everyone this.
- 33:36Speaker 3: I'm sorry to reveal this, this five years into the podcast.
- 33:39Speaker 2: And tell me, Breggie, do you still hear the screaming
- 33:41Speaker 2: of the minks every morning? I? Uh?
- 33:45Speaker 3: It was. You would go to church and you would
- 33:47Speaker 3: smell the mink, right, I don't know if it was
- 33:49Speaker 3: the mink, you know, run off.
- 33:52Speaker 2: I smell the I lived by a pig farm, and
- 33:54Speaker 2: you would smell a fear. It's horrible, awful, absolutely terrible, horriful.
- 33:58Speaker 2: And then the mink farmer taught at my high school.
- 34:00Speaker 2: What do you teach in Utah?
- 34:02Speaker 3: There's something called that's part of the TLC.
- 34:08Speaker 4: You broke tender love and cruelty.
- 34:12Speaker 3: No, he taught something called seminary, which is a very
- 34:15Speaker 3: odd phenomenon in Utah, which is you take an hour
- 34:18Speaker 3: out of your day at the public school to go
- 34:20Speaker 3: there's a building in the parking lot of the high
- 34:22Speaker 3: school where we go and learn about Mormonism.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Yeah, that's so weird.
- 34:26Speaker 2: We had a Christian group called Young Life that would
- 34:28Speaker 2: recruit in our high school Life. Yeah. They would play like,
- 34:31Speaker 2: you know, freeze. It would be like they would take
- 34:33Speaker 2: the kids to like jet ski and stuff at the
- 34:36Speaker 2: hot Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 4: I mean, and they got hot kids.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Of course, Christians are usually pot when they're young, and
- 34:44Speaker 3: then you kind of grow into the devil. Yeah, did
- 34:52Speaker 3: you make up that devil? Yes, that's so funny. That's
- 34:55Speaker 3: why I guess to do this gorgeous podcast because of
- 34:58Speaker 3: Earth Devil.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Earth you should change your handle to Earth Devil, Aspiring
- 35:03Speaker 2: Earth Devil.
- 35:05Speaker 3: We've talked about Tasmanian devils, Earth Devils, regular devils.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I did a podcast with a guy who's very famous
- 35:11Speaker 2: for podcasting. He's been done for so long, and once
- 35:14Speaker 2: we stopped the podcast, we were still talking and we
- 35:17Speaker 2: were by the mics, just reflectively.
- 35:19Speaker 3: He kept oh ing on mic did you see it's
- 35:22Speaker 3: attached to it and it follows him everywhere.
- 35:25Speaker 2: It's such a haunting thing. It's like something out of
- 35:28Speaker 2: a Twilight, like the final it's like the reveal. It's
- 35:32Speaker 2: like a kind of a lame reveal.
- 35:33Speaker 3: And Ezra Kline can't get away from a microphone. It's
- 35:41Speaker 3: like a carrot.
- 35:42Speaker 2: It's like the dangling everywhere it goes. But wait, so
- 35:45Speaker 2: so there was seminary would be in the parking lot?
- 35:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it's but it's a building. I wish it was
- 35:50Speaker 3: just kind of a tailgating thing. We got brats, we
- 35:54Speaker 3: got doritos. Everybody get a launch.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Out of a pontiac an astac It's.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so okay, so you would Did they ever get you?
- 36:04Speaker 1: No?
- 36:04Speaker 3: They had me? And I think this was kind of
- 36:06Speaker 3: got This was kind of the end. This was kind
- 36:08Speaker 3: of like, oh, what are we doing? Why am I
- 36:10Speaker 3: spending an hour of I could be learning. I could
- 36:12Speaker 3: be in foods right now, and meanwhile I'm doing this
- 36:16Speaker 3: and then I'm starting to leave school during that hour
- 36:18Speaker 3: to shoplift. It was a whole So they were kind
- 36:22Speaker 3: of like getting the worst version of me by giving
- 36:24Speaker 3: me that hour. Whatever I wanted. Utah has a chain
- 36:30Speaker 3: of thrift stores called Deserret Industries, and they also weirdly
- 36:33Speaker 3: have one in La.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Now.
- 36:35Speaker 3: It was a shock because I've been tempted. If something
- 36:40Speaker 3: catches my eye, I'll take it. I will say, have
- 36:45Speaker 3: gotten thirst, sources have gotten rid of dressing rooms. So
- 36:49Speaker 3: I kind of think, you know, change on the sidewalk.
- 36:53Speaker 3: I'm gonna take this outside to change. I'll be right back.
- 36:56Speaker 3: I think you should just be able to take whatever
- 36:57Speaker 3: you want.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're not gonna let me try it on
- 37:01Speaker 3: in store, forget it. I'm not paying for this thing.
- 37:04Speaker 3: They don't have a return policy. How do I get
- 37:07Speaker 3: my three dollars?
- 37:07Speaker 4: How can you How can you know?
- 37:09Speaker 2: No? I know, No, I know. Although that's it means
- 37:13Speaker 2: that you know that you are trying something, you're getting
- 37:16Speaker 2: something that no one well, they wore it before, but
- 37:18Speaker 2: people haven't gone on and tried in the store, right,
- 37:21Speaker 2: So I spent some time since people's spoils have been.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Right, nobody knows what's happening in there, some sort of
- 37:28Speaker 3: weasel in it. But I would go there and just
- 37:30Speaker 3: take whatever I wanted, and you usually would put go
- 37:33Speaker 3: into the dress room and put on a shirt that
- 37:35Speaker 3: I liked, then put on my normal shirt, walk out,
- 37:37Speaker 3: Oh puffy, how many it? On a winter coat, and
- 37:41Speaker 3: then pull a T shirt over it.
- 37:42Speaker 2: It's one of those things where, yeah, you keep adding
- 37:44Speaker 2: layers and layers until you get caught yes, and then
- 37:47Speaker 2: then you have your reckoning and.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Then you say no, I'm pregnant. It's really rude that
- 37:51Speaker 3: you would ask it's a pregnant. It's a full baby
- 37:57Speaker 3: is crawling up.
- 37:58Speaker 2: It's a full top pregnancy headed to the back. It's
- 38:04Speaker 2: in my arms, it's in my neck. The baby has
- 38:08Speaker 2: crossed the blood brain barrier. The baby's in my head.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Call the shop, all the shop.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Yeah, he's driving like the Men in Black Alien.
- 38:18Speaker 3: I'll never forget that ship. Remember what happens in Men
- 38:21Speaker 3: in Black?
- 38:22Speaker 2: So a guy dies and then they open the back
- 38:24Speaker 2: of his head and there's like a little guy. He's like,
- 38:27Speaker 2: you don't remember.
- 38:28Speaker 3: He's like, he's like the alien is also dying. The
- 38:30Speaker 3: aliens maybe a big he's been piloting the guy the
- 38:33Speaker 3: whole time.
- 38:33Speaker 2: It's a guy.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 38:34Speaker 2: When you think, like you know how they're going to
- 38:36Speaker 2: reveal the alien? Oh right, you're like, I don't know
- 38:38Speaker 2: that this guy could be driving.
- 38:41Speaker 3: And the alien just dies of natural causes.
- 38:43Speaker 2: He tries to tell them something, Oh but he's old age. Yeah,
- 38:47Speaker 2: he gives them in this person's head if.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Only they had no Yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, Well.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Look, I feel like you keep trying to get away
- 38:58Speaker 3: from this.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Gift, and well, you know, I'm modest.
- 39:04Speaker 3: The podcast is called I said no gifts. So I
- 39:09Speaker 3: was a little you know, I was looking forward to
- 39:10Speaker 3: having you here. I begged you to come on so
- 39:14Speaker 3: many phone calls that you blocked me.
- 39:15Speaker 4: You were being walked up to my door with a
- 39:17Speaker 4: muzzle and a leather in a.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Leathersh Eventually you got a call from your mom and
- 39:23Speaker 3: then it was me, Chris, I got you.
- 39:26Speaker 4: Yeah, but you be.
- 39:27Speaker 3: On I said no gifts, So it was a little surprised.
- 39:31Speaker 3: I feel like you're a professional at this point. At
- 39:34Speaker 3: this point, at this point, you know, when I met you,
- 39:36Speaker 3: I mean it was amateur minute. It was embarrassing to
- 39:42Speaker 3: be even around you. To know your name was embarrassing.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I wouldn't even look you in the eye out
- 39:46Speaker 2: of respect for you and your family.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Uh So it was a little surprised when you show
- 39:50Speaker 3: up to my fifth anniversary, which is supposed to be
- 39:53Speaker 3: a big day for me. I don't know if anybody
- 39:55Speaker 3: else cares, at least.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Uh testing outside.
- 40:04Speaker 3: They took some time off from planned parenthood to come here.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Yeah they flipped my car. It's not even the planned
- 40:11Speaker 2: parent and protesters, it's plant parents. It's the employee come here. Yeah.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know what you did. Something strange and
- 40:19Speaker 3: bad I've done.
- 40:19Speaker 2: He said something about that that dental dams don't exist.
- 40:22Speaker 2: I think it is what you said.
- 40:23Speaker 4: He said. He said, show me proof. I've heard about him.
- 40:28Speaker 3: We've all heard the phrase, we've never seen him. Something's up.
- 40:32Speaker 3: I'm just saying. I'm just saying, fuck Youcher, fuck you.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Bridger.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Dental dams have been the tenth pole of this podcast.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Now you've ripped it down. Uh, but you arrived with
- 40:46Speaker 3: a gift. Oh yeah, actually have a couple of gifts. Yeah,
- 40:49Speaker 3: oh my god. And so now you're just owning it
- 40:50Speaker 3: twice as much. Oh, in this gorgeous mustard bag.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Thank you? Do you want to open the bag? I should?
- 40:57Speaker 3: I mean if you insist.
- 40:58Speaker 4: Okay, So there's there's compartments.
- 41:00Speaker 3: This looks like a refrigerated bag with an organ and.
- 41:04Speaker 4: You have to travel over the ocean.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Someone's waiting for that heart and it's on this podcast.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Did you like when nos Faratu had to get when
- 41:14Speaker 2: he traveled and he had to go under the ship,
- 41:16Speaker 2: he like he quit in transport. He had to take
- 41:18Speaker 2: a ship and he's like waiting on.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Oh, he had to like get it. He kind of
- 41:21Speaker 3: had to be a stowaway. He was like he's rescue
- 41:25Speaker 3: rangers or something like hiding in a match box.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Right, that's right with his rats. Just kind of like,
- 41:32Speaker 2: this's the guy who can show up anywhere. Why is
- 41:34Speaker 2: he taking a boat?
- 41:36Speaker 3: He had a lot going on. He it's so much
- 41:38Speaker 3: going on. What was he doing before all of this
- 41:40Speaker 3: in that castle? How is he staying busy? That's so true. Yeah,
- 41:45Speaker 3: this whole thing. But it's like up until now he.
- 41:47Speaker 4: Had the driver horses cart carriage.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Oh yeah, maybe he was doing a horse simulator.
- 41:52Speaker 2: It was like a way mow for with horses. Okay,
- 41:54Speaker 2: so this is the first okay, reach in reach in
- 41:56Speaker 2: here there's three of them. Three.
- 42:01Speaker 3: I saw something around and brown. Oh wait, these aren't
- 42:05Speaker 3: for simons a. They're passion fruit. They're passion fruit from
- 42:08Speaker 3: my own garden. I've never seen a passion fruit. I've
- 42:12Speaker 3: only ever seen it on the side of natural drinks. Yes, slice, yes, yeah, mutilated? Wow.
- 42:21Speaker 3: You grow these in your garden or someone threw them
- 42:23Speaker 3: back there.
- 42:23Speaker 2: It's originally from home depot the bush, the bush, and
- 42:26Speaker 2: it took over.
- 42:27Speaker 3: It's called the Frederick passion fruit bush. Oh, how long
- 42:29Speaker 3: have you been growing it? Oh? At least two years?
- 42:32Speaker 3: Two years and it's already fruiting.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Oh oh, fruits like several times a year. Wow, and
- 42:36Speaker 2: those are going to be good? No, no, no, no,
- 42:40Speaker 2: you just water and then it's like it invades the
- 42:43Speaker 2: whole yard.
- 42:43Speaker 3: It's almost a weed.
- 42:44Speaker 2: It took over the neighbors and the other neighbors. It's
- 42:47Speaker 2: like they don't.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Live there anymore.
- 42:49Speaker 4: They're like, can could you do something about this?
- 42:52Speaker 3: It's in the house, so do they? I don't even
- 42:55Speaker 3: know what a passion fruit tree looks like. Is a bushy?
- 42:57Speaker 2: It's just a bush.
- 42:58Speaker 3: It's like a vine.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Oh and then.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Almost a grape type situation exactly. But with these, how
- 43:03Speaker 3: do you can I just bite into it?
- 43:05Speaker 1: No?
- 43:05Speaker 3: No, no, would that killed me? It was It's like,
- 43:11Speaker 3: what is the Is it coffee beans or something that
- 43:13Speaker 3: if you like there's some way of turning.
- 43:14Speaker 2: It into potatoes. If you do a potato, it could
- 43:18Speaker 2: take out armies a full fucking yeah, the navy.
- 43:22Speaker 3: So how do I I have to slice this?
- 43:23Speaker 2: M You can't have it yet. You you're gonna want
- 43:26Speaker 2: to wait a couple days anywhere, and then, yeah, in
- 43:30Speaker 2: a couple of days, you cut it, and then you
- 43:32Speaker 2: eat the seeds and it's kind of goofy.
- 43:33Speaker 3: It remains I hate to say goofy, but it remains tanging. Oh,
- 43:38Speaker 3: the tang remains.
- 43:38Speaker 2: I can't do a sweet goop. No, no, it's gagging.
- 43:41Speaker 2: It's got a punished, punishing tang. And now, who's my
- 43:45Speaker 2: second gift?
- 43:47Speaker 3: Let's put these here in the ash. Yeah, string on
- 43:52Speaker 3: my glove is a bug. I thought a bug was
- 43:55Speaker 3: following my my glove across.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Your storied gloves. It's this is very blanched blois.
- 44:02Speaker 3: It's very you know, he's under the bed. You can't
- 44:06Speaker 3: see me in this in this landing. Okay, now I
- 44:08Speaker 3: think you're gonna like this. Okay, pulled it.
- 44:09Speaker 2: I think this is your size. I'm not even sure
- 44:11Speaker 2: what to too small for me? Right, Oh, you could
- 44:14Speaker 2: pull anything anything color. Yeah, this is gorgeous. This is
- 44:18Speaker 2: a piece of western were Yeah.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I think you could look a little like a little
- 44:21Speaker 4: howdy duty in this.
- 44:22Speaker 3: And it smells so good. Thank you? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 3: I've worn it. Is that your smell?
- 44:27Speaker 4: Yeah, well let me see. No, I don't know what
- 44:32Speaker 4: that is.
- 44:33Speaker 3: But it smells good. Yeah, I'm not getting correct here.
- 44:35Speaker 3: It might be my my pheromones. You could bottle that
- 44:38Speaker 3: up and sell it an Ordstrom. This is a beautiful
- 44:42Speaker 3: piece of western wear and kind of a it's a
- 44:43Speaker 3: little wrinkle. I'm sorry, an orange mustardy. I hate to
- 44:47Speaker 3: give you something so western mask when you're in something
- 44:50Speaker 3: a tunic so gorgeous. I'm trying to get back in
- 44:52Speaker 3: the closet. Step one. I'm looking for a wife. You're
- 44:57Speaker 3: going to get a wife in this. This is my
- 45:00Speaker 3: e Harmony profile. You could this and nothing else.
- 45:04Speaker 4: Christian Mingle. That is that?
- 45:07Speaker 2: I think I think that button down a little bit
- 45:09Speaker 2: on you snap buttons.
- 45:11Speaker 3: I think it could be really sure. I try it
- 45:12Speaker 3: on right now.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean you don't have to, but I
- 45:15Speaker 4: would like it if you did.
- 45:25Speaker 3: The things the audience is seeing.
- 45:27Speaker 2: Oh I hope you zoom in on that. You don't
- 45:30Speaker 2: have last at it. You don't have last looks.
- 45:31Speaker 3: I don't. That's the one thing I gave up my contract.
- 45:34Speaker 3: They get to degrade you in any way, knees. This
- 45:38Speaker 3: is a different human beings. How are we feeling about me?
- 45:41Speaker 3: Are you taking giving me more respect?
- 45:42Speaker 2: Now you're intimidating respect. I wasn't expecting you to be intimidating.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I was expecting this is someone who would cut their
- 45:50Speaker 3: passion fruit.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Into it.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Now I'm wearing a mini skirt.
- 45:55Speaker 2: You you look like a TV star from the from
- 45:58Speaker 2: like the fifties.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Oh see, this is a I've thought. Someone asked me
- 46:01Speaker 3: a while ago about like if you were like really
- 46:03Speaker 3: trying to chase a look, what would it be? And
- 46:07Speaker 3: I said, I think I there said like zoo keeper
- 46:12Speaker 3: or you know, fifties cowboy. That's what I'm saying, TV cowboy,
- 46:16Speaker 3: not someone who can actually rope of course, a steer,
- 46:20Speaker 3: a steer. I was gonna say, dear, and I knew you.
- 46:27Speaker 2: You look like you got kicked off the Waltons for
- 46:29Speaker 2: getting into like a physical dispute with John Boy. Yeah,
- 46:33Speaker 2: you beat the ship out of you, threw John Boy over.
- 46:37Speaker 3: You could have killed that boy. What the fuck The
- 46:41Speaker 3: last episode of The Waltons is me nearly killing John Boy,
- 46:46Speaker 3: just bashing pleasure.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Jesus Christ took a boy.
- 46:52Speaker 3: The writer's really soured on John Boy.
- 46:55Speaker 2: At the other twelve siblings are just frozen in horror
- 46:58Speaker 2: as a zoom out of the ass.
- 46:59Speaker 3: As this brand new character arrives to kill their brother.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Yeah, you wreak of whiskey.
- 47:06Speaker 3: The viewer can smell me.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Stay down, John Boy, he's unconscious.
- 47:12Speaker 3: Stay down. That's a helicopter away.
- 47:17Speaker 2: You went backwards on a on a cow out of there,
- 47:20Speaker 2: facing facing the back stairs style down.
- 47:23Speaker 3: The house is just shaking.
- 47:27Speaker 4: And I always say, do not bring do not.
- 47:29Speaker 2: This is this is the downfall of every wealthy family
- 47:32Speaker 2: bringing the bringing the horse inside. Really did not bring
- 47:37Speaker 2: the horse inside the floor.
- 47:38Speaker 3: It's not built that hubris. That's the final, you know,
- 47:42Speaker 3: stroke of like, oh, we went too far. We brought
- 47:44Speaker 3: the horse in. We got too bored with our money
- 47:46Speaker 3: and we thought, let's try the horse inside, bring it
- 47:50Speaker 3: in to watch TV. He flipped, He flipped out, He
- 47:53Speaker 3: slid on the hardwood. Dad was thrown, Dad got kicked.
- 47:59Speaker 4: The girls.
- 48:00Speaker 2: We don't know where the girls are.
- 48:01Speaker 3: The girl the girls left it moment they heard the
- 48:04Speaker 3: horse coming in. Obviously twins. When I say the girls,
- 48:07Speaker 3: you know, you know it's always twins. Yeah, it's always twins.
- 48:12Speaker 3: She's out of her She's out of her fucking mind.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Where did you get this shirt?
- 48:17Speaker 2: Costume designer who I love, Lauren o Pelt, gave it
- 48:20Speaker 2: to me and in my in my you know, sprire
- 48:25Speaker 2: trimmer days, I fit into it gorgeously. And then as
- 48:29Speaker 2: I as Time has been singing her cruel song to
- 48:34Speaker 2: me and my body, I thought this will fit well
- 48:36Speaker 2: on Bridger.
- 48:37Speaker 3: It fits perfectly.
- 48:38Speaker 2: Yeah, It's like it's exactly the thing that I would
- 48:40Speaker 2: love to be able to sport, and so since I cannot.
- 48:44Speaker 3: There's very few.
- 48:44Speaker 2: People who are trimmer than I that I know, your life,
- 48:49Speaker 2: I block them.
- 48:50Speaker 3: Don't show me those.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Let me let me rephrase that they're not.
- 48:53Speaker 2: They have a lot of people trimmer than I. I mean,
- 48:57Speaker 2: they're our age that I know who are right.
- 49:02Speaker 3: And this to me because I feel like you do
- 49:03Speaker 3: have a very distinct style that people appreciate, and it
- 49:10Speaker 3: just feels so nat. It feels like you were born
- 49:12Speaker 3: into it. Oh, thank you, and this shirt, fortunately, it
- 49:14Speaker 3: feels like something I could still wear without people being
- 49:17Speaker 3: like he's trying to bite Chris's style.
- 49:18Speaker 4: Exactly, because this for me is also it's not quite
- 49:22Speaker 4: in my.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Eye, it's a little more neutral. Yeah, this is a
- 49:25Speaker 3: night out on the Phoenix in Phoenix. This is this
- 49:30Speaker 3: is trip, yeah, away from the wife and kids.
- 49:33Speaker 2: In one of those black caps you know that, you
- 49:34Speaker 2: know those things that people try to wear it to
- 49:36Speaker 2: not be noticed. Oh, like the baseball cat where it's
- 49:38Speaker 2: like now I want you know what I'm talking about.
- 49:41Speaker 3: The celebrity Damon did a whole movie based around a
- 49:42Speaker 3: hat like.
- 49:43Speaker 4: That exactly, and they all wear it.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Yeah, they're all wearing kind of thing.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Everyone's like, who's under that?
- 49:49Speaker 3: Because only celebrities wear Yeah, this is no normal person
- 49:52Speaker 3: buys that.
- 49:52Speaker 4: You can't even get it.
- 49:54Speaker 3: Every normal person wants that kind of fun hat.
- 49:56Speaker 4: Yeah, no, exactly, you wear it higher.
- 49:58Speaker 2: But when they were.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Yeah, pull it down. It's a way to get it.
- 50:02Speaker 3: It's they are Oscar Isaac.
- 50:04Speaker 4: And it is not ten times it's fucking Isaac.
- 50:08Speaker 3: That is one of my rare celebrity sidings in La
- 50:10Speaker 3: I saw. I saw Oscar Isaac in a corner table yep,
- 50:14Speaker 3: And you know I thought little Caesars complain interviewing for
- 50:18Speaker 3: a job asking for a free Hey, hey man, I
- 50:22Speaker 3: hate the time and it's usually pretty good.
- 50:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but this, if I could just get a little
- 50:28Speaker 2: money back on this and maybe some free sticks, I don't.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Want to get anyone in trouble.
- 50:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's just I know.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Little Caesars is better than this. He's brought back only
- 50:36Speaker 3: the box. He hate the whole pizza and the crazy bread.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Crazy bread. Have you ever had crazy bread?
- 50:44Speaker 4: That's a little Caesars it used to be. I've never
- 50:47Speaker 4: been to a little Caesars.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Where are they?
- 50:48Speaker 3: They're they up here when you least expect. It's like
- 50:52Speaker 3: in the middle of a wintry night, you see a cabin.
- 50:57Speaker 2: With the smoke coming out. That's a little Caesars. I
- 51:00Speaker 2: imagine little seasons. Remember in Babylon, Remember when they wait
- 51:03Speaker 2: two and a half hours to introduce Toby Maguire.
- 51:05Speaker 3: Oh, of course they will wait two hours to reveal
- 51:07Speaker 3: everything in that moment, and then they end on a
- 51:09Speaker 3: Jurassic Park montage that I mean, I was on my
- 51:12Speaker 3: feet for that Avatar. There's an avatar move moment.
- 51:15Speaker 2: When they when they when they show when they show
- 51:18Speaker 2: those movies. I was like, you have the way that
- 51:21Speaker 2: you have shot yourselves and I hate to say this,
- 51:23Speaker 2: in the penis, Damien Gizelle shot himself in the penis
- 51:29Speaker 2: and not the penis when he got the Avatar Jurassic Park,
- 51:36Speaker 2: and like Wallace and Grahmet, it's like, why did why
- 51:38Speaker 2: did Marco Robbie do this?
- 51:40Speaker 4: Have Kaylee Quoco do it.
- 51:41Speaker 3: That none of them knew if that was coming.
- 51:43Speaker 2: No, no, obviously, that's like a little not on the script.
- 51:47Speaker 3: And then we show a clip of Avatar like a
- 51:49Speaker 3: long cliff yes. And it felt like when I go
- 51:52Speaker 3: home and I'll go see a movie with my family,
- 51:56Speaker 3: We'll go to like a local theater. Of course every
- 51:58Speaker 3: time they'll show like a wedding crash, the wedding, we
- 52:01Speaker 3: see wedding crashes, his family tradition.
- 52:02Speaker 4: A new release in the small town.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I have to see it in four K. You
- 52:05Speaker 3: got to. But the local theater will have like a
- 52:08Speaker 3: clip package before that was clearly edited by someone's nephew
- 52:11Speaker 3: or whatever of like famous things from movies. That's literally
- 52:14Speaker 3: what's the end of uh Babylon right exactly. It's like
- 52:18Speaker 3: this is should be the intro to another thing at
- 52:22Speaker 3: a bad movie theater. That's exactly what it is, or
- 52:24Speaker 3: maybe at the end of the Golden Globes. Yeah, really,
- 52:26Speaker 3: thank you for everyone. Stop taking attention forever. It's very much.
- 52:30Speaker 3: Have you've been to the AMC Burbank. Yeah, there's like
- 52:33Speaker 3: on the floor they have quotes from movies and there
- 52:35Speaker 3: are things like E T phone homes.
- 52:37Speaker 2: When how you met Sally, I'll have what she's had. Yeah,
- 52:39Speaker 2: it's like.
- 52:40Speaker 3: The most obviously it's that turned into film.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Yeah, they should do really obscure like prepositional phrases.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Yeah, things that kind of can't connect to anything.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Get out of there.
- 52:51Speaker 3: There's no way you can. You can't.
- 52:53Speaker 4: It's untraceable the floor.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Do you feel like nowadays like even background casting needs
- 53:01Speaker 2: to come in for chemistry reads?
- 53:03Speaker 3: God, there's h camera. I was watching a show, one
- 53:07Speaker 3: of our premium dramas and there was a background actor
- 53:11Speaker 3: that I mean, God, bless these people. Yeah, this woman was.
- 53:15Speaker 2: There to get your number, by the way, Oh yeah,
- 53:17Speaker 2: and they're going there. That's some ideas as you're in
- 53:20Speaker 2: your car, are you? Are you on Facebook? Ah?
- 53:24Speaker 3: There are five different Chris Flemmings. Which one is you?
- 53:27Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 53:27Speaker 2: I think I found you all at them all? Why
- 53:30Speaker 2: didn't you just give me your phone?
- 53:33Speaker 3: Okay to get a text that says, why didn't you
- 53:35Speaker 3: just give your phone?
- 53:36Speaker 2: One one guy, we did a show. He hitted me
- 53:38Speaker 2: like a wet napkin with his number on it.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Here's my number, Do not call me. Pulls that out
- 53:47Speaker 3: of his cleavage, sopping that SOPs himself up. Don't call me.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Do not use this.
- 53:56Speaker 2: You're watching a prestige drama, of course.
- 53:58Speaker 3: Oh and now, I mean when we say back around actor,
- 54:00Speaker 3: now I have to really there's an Okay, so I
- 54:02Speaker 3: saw this woman really giving it up, giving it her all.
- 54:04Speaker 3: It's like looking it's all I'm.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Looking at Yeah.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Yeah, But did you see the Netflix documentary about the
- 54:11Speaker 3: Mormon woman who was kidnapped like her family? I watched
- 54:15Speaker 3: that one. No, that's that's van life. This is in
- 54:18Speaker 3: the seventies. It's called like hiding in plane sight or something.
- 54:22Speaker 3: This woman was kidnapped in the seventies, over and over
- 54:24Speaker 3: by these people's neighbors. It's the most insane story you
- 54:26Speaker 3: could possibly imagine.
- 54:27Speaker 4: She was repeat kidnapped.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Yes, oh my god, I.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Mean you watch the documentary, You're like, what could possibly
- 54:32Speaker 3: be happening.
- 54:33Speaker 2: By the same people. They kept getting away with it.
- 54:35Speaker 2: So they find her and they're like and then they go.
- 54:38Speaker 3: Sort of yeah and like the guy kind of like
- 54:40Speaker 3: I mean, it's of course, like every one of these
- 54:42Speaker 3: documentaries gets very dark and they're somehow that doesn't sound
- 54:45Speaker 3: dark to me, like a happy ending.
- 54:48Speaker 4: That's a johnt.
- 54:50Speaker 3: There's aliens involved, Like oh, it's very odd.
- 54:54Speaker 2: But the way the way you say that, it sounds
- 54:56Speaker 2: like like the not like they believe in aliens, but
- 54:58Speaker 2: it's like aliens are like they're there there, they interview.
- 55:03Speaker 4: With them the way that's how you made it sound.
- 55:06Speaker 3: That's how aliens reveal themselves in a poorly washed Netflix
- 55:10Speaker 3: stock just steam.
- 55:13Speaker 2: I haven't there that they're just going to be steam
- 55:17Speaker 2: because they're not bodied.
- 55:18Speaker 3: Otherwise we're going to be disappointed. Yeah, if they're if
- 55:20Speaker 3: they have to appear essentially in spirit form or a cube,
- 55:23Speaker 3: a cube something that can't move without help. It's like
- 55:27Speaker 3: a flow a fan, that's right, you know, it's like
- 55:30Speaker 3: you can't have legs, or it could be all around us. Oh,
- 55:33Speaker 3: now that would be a feeling, Yeah, that would be
- 55:37Speaker 3: that would be a feeling. My fear is when aliens come,
- 55:39Speaker 3: We're just gonna get bored. You know, you know this
- 55:41Speaker 3: is exactly what I've thought, Really, I have.
- 55:44Speaker 2: I have had this distinct thought that will be because
- 55:48Speaker 2: it's the same way we deal with anything.
- 55:49Speaker 4: Yes, it's like they're gonna want They're gonna want to
- 55:52Speaker 4: see all of our movies.
- 55:53Speaker 2: They're gonna be like, dude, dude, have you seen fucking
- 55:59Speaker 2: Breaking Bad?
- 56:01Speaker 3: Dude?
- 56:02Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I have. We're all going to have like
- 56:05Speaker 2: a group of aliens that are like, dude, this is
- 56:07Speaker 2: the funniest movie.
- 56:08Speaker 3: You got to watch this ship. We've been here the
- 56:09Speaker 3: whole time.
- 56:10Speaker 2: We don't care.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I feel like we'll get bored. And speaking
- 56:14Speaker 3: of movies, I feel like they're going to see our
- 56:15Speaker 3: depictions of aliens and it's going to be absolutely humiliating.
- 56:19Speaker 3: That's when they're gonna be like you motherfucker.
- 56:21Speaker 2: It's gonna be like reading misery and being like when
- 56:25Speaker 2: it gets to that point, you you think we're you
- 56:30Speaker 2: think we look like you don't think we have noses?
- 56:34Speaker 3: Have dare you? Do you feel like there's any chance
- 56:37Speaker 3: of aliens haven't been here?
- 56:39Speaker 2: Oh?
- 56:39Speaker 3: Yeah you think so? Oh do you genuinely believe that? Oh?
- 56:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm all about aliens, ghosts, all of it.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, oh yeah, I think that there's a small
- 56:49Speaker 3: chance they're on their way. Certainly, you don't think the
- 56:52Speaker 3: being here is so scary. If they've been here and
- 56:53Speaker 3: they dipped out and not saying anything, it's rude.
- 56:56Speaker 2: It's like swimming in a lake. I would rather get
- 56:58Speaker 2: bit than be I think of the thing swimming. We've
- 57:00Speaker 2: talked about this.
- 57:01Speaker 3: I'm sure if I'm happy to talk about like.
- 57:04Speaker 2: I would rather be interacted with by a predator than
- 57:08Speaker 2: have all the times. I think when you go to Hell,
- 57:12Speaker 2: they may give you a microsoftic Sell spreadsheet of all
- 57:15Speaker 2: the predators that saw you in the lake that didn't
- 57:18Speaker 2: bite you.
- 57:19Speaker 4: Oh hey, just so you know, that's snapping turtle.
- 57:21Speaker 3: I could have gotten you.
- 57:22Speaker 2: He perceived you.
- 57:23Speaker 3: You do think about that, what's beneath you in the lake?
- 57:26Speaker 3: Come to the surface and show me that's much better,
- 57:29Speaker 3: way less scary lake monsters, snakes, large fish, even stepping
- 57:34Speaker 3: on something in a body of water that's not dirt
- 57:38Speaker 3: or sand is mortifying, right, because what's beneath Yeah? What
- 57:42Speaker 3: have I just upset? What have I just awoken?
- 57:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 57:47Speaker 3: Did you have local lake monsters? I feel like, I
- 57:53Speaker 3: feel like in Massachusetts they probably do have la like monsters.
- 57:55Speaker 4: I think I tried to get some of that started.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Come on, everybody, Hey, did you.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Guys see that look kind of like a kind of
- 58:05Speaker 2: like a Hones Civik but in that eyes And I definitely,
- 58:09Speaker 2: I definitely.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Tried to start a rumin that there was something behind.
- 58:11Speaker 2: The water tower.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Oh I like that?
- 58:14Speaker 2: Yeah, like you guys see that?
- 58:16Speaker 4: But no, there were There was.
- 58:18Speaker 3: No no lake monsters. You were robbed.
- 58:20Speaker 2: We are our corner of the world is too fearful
- 58:24Speaker 2: of God to uh sure.
- 58:27Speaker 3: You've got the Puritan Puritans weren't thinking about lake monsters.
- 58:31Speaker 3: They didn't have their in the after all. Yeah, it
- 58:34Speaker 3: was too fun, too too icy.
- 58:36Speaker 4: Oh my god, the Locker's monster. That the dunk of
- 58:38Speaker 4: donk looking.
- 58:40Speaker 3: Back at that biggest ass in Scotland.
- 58:43Speaker 4: The biggest ass in Scotland.
- 58:44Speaker 2: All HaGush looking back going damn swimming around the lake.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Look at me.
- 58:51Speaker 3: I love the Lochness monster. We had the we had
- 58:54Speaker 3: the bear like monster, bear lake monster. That's kind of
- 58:57Speaker 3: I think that straddles Utah and Idaho. Who was the
- 58:59Speaker 3: bear like monster? No one will ever know, too shy.
- 59:02Speaker 4: They're all shy.
- 59:03Speaker 3: They're so shy. Yeah, cripplingly shot.
- 59:05Speaker 2: If they weren't shy, then yeah, but we'd be bored
- 59:07Speaker 2: with them exactly. People.
- 59:09Speaker 3: You can't get bored with shy people.
- 59:11Speaker 2: That's a really good I feel like celebrities should look
- 59:16Speaker 2: to these scryptids to know when to go away, you know,
- 59:19Speaker 2: because you got to pop up. You can't go on.
- 59:22Speaker 3: You can't be on subway takes everything you know, and
- 59:24Speaker 3: you can't be wearing the hat.
- 59:26Speaker 4: You can't you can't be Yeah, like you know, do tar.
- 59:31Speaker 3: And then vanished for a while.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, let us miss you, let us miss you.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Let's wonder about your health and then yeah, that's I
- 59:38Speaker 3: think that's like the best thing a celebrity can do.
- 59:41Speaker 3: People concerned about there's a mysterious illness, and then you resurface,
- 59:45Speaker 3: and even if your next thing isn't that great, people
- 59:48Speaker 3: are thrilled to have you back.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Do a play, do a play, or say, you know what,
- 59:52Speaker 2: don't even do a play. Say I'm going to do
- 59:55Speaker 2: a play because no one sees.
- 59:59Speaker 3: Okay, Planchet does not have bronchitis considering a play.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: She's yeah, yeah, she's threatening to do a chorus line. Yeah,
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: she's threatening to be the choreographer a chorus line.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: Take it again from the top a five six seven et.
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: She'd be so good. That's perfect cast.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: My leg or. I tore my meniscus in high school
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: and I did community theater of chorus line. But I
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: was in backstage chorus and I had a T shirt
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: that said backstage chorus and had to come out during
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: the current call.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: They put they made you wear that T shirt. Yeah,
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: that's unfair.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: I think I gave it to someone when I used
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: to have it.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: That's abusive behavior.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Huge to hear a whole crowd laughing like at during
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: a curtain call, like mat use the show, and then
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: backstage comes out and takes a long bow.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: And this was because of the injury. I mean, so
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: I was told they're like, thank Gaudy injured.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Then they would have let me on stage if it
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: hadn't been for the hopefully but yeah, so the bar
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: like monster, what are we talking?
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: Fowl? Are we talking?
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: Man? Oh? I would love a wet fowl. Oh my fowl, cryptid, sopping, wet,
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: wet feathers covered in mud. Hey fuck, yeah, that's the
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: sound of the bare like monster.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it sucks to be that. Yeah, we both
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: knew it was a pained existence.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: No, I mean, I think the general thought was that
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: it was kind of serpentine. But I feel like everybody
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: just goes to NeSSI they just imagine it's another dinosaur.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: I'm imagining a kind of plumped up platy pie. Oh
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: that's not a bad like monster.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, like half bird half.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: Right, Like, you don't want to even see a platypus.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: No, has anyone have you ever known someone who's seen
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: a platypus? Never meant anybody tell me when? Okay, so
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: you think, tell me what you think is the side
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: of the platypus? Tell me when?
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: Oh great question? Who knows? Could be that it's because
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: a quarter infinitesimal? Okay, keep going there. I would say,
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: like a newborn puppy size. Yeah, yeah, is that right?
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: Oh I don't know.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I did that like a while.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Then let me try with you going going when? Oh,
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: so about the size of a chips a hoy?
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Not many?
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: No? No, not like it could be or it could
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: be it could be huge. It could be a nutrient
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: with the architecture of a platypus. I feel like it
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: needs to be big, fine architecture to support the all
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: of the things that went wrong right, Like, it can't
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: be something, it can't be delicate or fragile. It's got
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: to be like you don't have a disgusting and god
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: bless but they are gross.
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: It's spilt like a suspension bridge plot pus is gross.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: It's a gross creature. Oh, totally, So it's got to
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: be big.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: The eggs. The eggs is t m I. Oh yeah,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: that's that's the first time I heard t m I
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: in biology. Yeah, they're like, hey, and just so you
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: guys know, they lay eggs. Everyone's like.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: Classes dismissed's we're going home early.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: This that should be live birth. It's that should be
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: a live birth creature. Totally. I just learned that there's
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: one snake that does live birth. Which class actually, I
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: guess kind of equal. I can't remember. I wish they
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: make think of it. What they make a big stink
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: of it. Then you want to know so you can
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: avoid them. Imagine the snake just giving birth to.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: I spend a lot of time with snake. Oh yeah, hold.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: Your car on vacation. There's someone right now calling the police.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: I think a snake has been left in a car
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: in the hots that's the one that you probably could
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: leave in a hot car.
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: Yeah, you have to be that.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: You have to be such a punk to call like
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: a's a certain type of person that would call the
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: police to see a snake that saw a snake in
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: a car, well, tattoo. You have to be like, h
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: you have to be pretty hard. Yes, other people would
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: be like fuck the snake.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: They really would like dog cat whatever. Of course you're
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: probably trying to break the window totally. Yeah, no, thank
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: you're probably happier. You have to actively be on your
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: way to the Reptile Expo to be the sort of
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: person that calls about the snake in the car. That's right.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Do you think without all the snake lore and like
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: religion and stuff, we would think different.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: We'd probably think a little differently. Oh, interesting, if they
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: weren't kind of a symbol of evil. Yeah, they got
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: they really got a bad shake. Or is that just
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: the easiest writing like is it a chicken in the
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: egg thing? Right? Because it is just naturally scary and
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: it's moving without legs. That's the devil of course that
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: would tempt you into eating fruit.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: And also spiders I guess didn't really ever have.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: Much of a chance much lore. They just I think
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: they were just actively biting people and hurt, harming, so
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: they were right.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: Well, they came around I think in the eighties.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they were introduced in nineteen eighty seven. And initially
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: it was like at cees and it was like the
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: tech people were like, Okay, we can do this. And
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: then as we do with all tech, it got out
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: of control.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: It got completely out of control.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: Religion embraced out and said this is evil. Yeah, and
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: then other than we also got snake church, which is
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: which is also the whole thing, snake Church. Yeah, but
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: no spiders have I think of just kind of they're
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: kind of a bad boy. They're such a bad boy.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: You don't need the Bible telling you of spider's bad,
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: but not a centipede you feel bad for.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: It's a difference between a freak.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Centipede is a full freak that can't really help itself.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: It's yeah, but the bad boys, it's it's got an agenda,
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: at least some type of structure in its life.
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: And you stay away from it.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: The freak doesn't have any friends.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: People don't even kill centipedes because they're like.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: A centipede has got a rolling luggage behind it at
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: all times, carrying its things. Yes, wearing boxers is shorts.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Everyone's even the nerds like, oh, we can't do anything
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: with that.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: We can't.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Sorry, Hey, you're on your own. Sorry man, Oh well,
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna take them off my shirt. I'm
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: getting a little warm, okay, which is fine.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Forgot you had a tunic underneath that.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's good to just be able to constantly reveal yourself.
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: That's it's good to be able to just pop that
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: thing off.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Oh how many shirts can you pop off? That's one
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: thing a western wear does best. And Western ware kind
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: of stopped being like western ware.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: You thought was having a thing around two thousand and
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: nine to twenty eleven, the snap buttons.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, of course, and then something happened headed back
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: you think, Oh yeah, it's absolutely headed back Big Sky
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: Country or everywhere. I think it's creeping in. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: it's probably as close as the Riverside right now. It's
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: stopping to gas up in Riverside on its way down.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: I think that Western war is on its way back,
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: is it staying in a in like a it's saying
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: at a prints place, Okay, has not seen him a
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: long time, and they're like, well he called and asked.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: He's like, what was I supposed to do?
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: Thanks so much? Man, Hey, this was really good.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Let's do that.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: Hey, let's do this again. And then you're apologizing to
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: your spouse about the whole weekend. Know, this is coming
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: back trying to do a trend report and that's all yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: I feel like v next are now. I mean see
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: people want to.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Time and at least has been doing a slow and
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: at least has been doing the slowest slow zoom on
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: my nip and.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: There's now microscopic of we can see what's living on
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: that now the viewers just trying to be.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: You can't and it's it's slowly.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: Our sound are talking is just.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: Oh the work girl heard.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: And just my nippled beneath your Yeah. Wow, this episode
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: was crazy nipple monsters.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I think I think a collared.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: What do you call this? This is a what?
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: When it's not like a buttoned collar and it's like
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: attached to.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: What it's woodworking stuff for Robin right.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: It's right, I would I would say it's a pilots. No,
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: I would say it's like there's something about very airplane,
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: very being very very aviation in the sky the sky, right, yeah,
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: And I can't say what it is. And mine's more
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: of a would you say this is a key hole?
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: They call that a keyhole shirt when it's like kind
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: of revealing.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: This is something you you Oh my god, you look
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: like you could be in the White Lotus right now
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: as going to the hospitality.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: You look like the guy.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: And do you watch the White of course?
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: Of course I love the White Lotus.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: I'm gonna need something to happen.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: Though, I mean, we're taking our time.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: Talk's gone. He got gay Talk's gun?
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Yeah, gaytar or gay tar, gayuitar.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: I believe gauitar. Gauitar.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: It's a guitar for gay man got his gun. Yeah,
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: the gun. Now that's just a montage with they're partying.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: People loved the partying montage and listen anything Mike White
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: makes I'm there to watch and enjoy. Oh totally. But
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: the party montage for me was I started to get it.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: I was starting to get into spy movie territory. It
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: was because I'm not experienced with parties. But it's a
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: little bit like, okay, very good time.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: If you're ever filming and you're making something and you
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: need public domain footage of partying, that's what that That's
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: what it is. That was. That was like, it was
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: like thirty minutes of a little long with Michelle Monahan.
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: I love to see Michelle monahanue letting lose. She's doing
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: a great job, doing wonderful but proposed you doing a
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: full on Groundlings character. It's like, I'm pushing back. I
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: think she's doing the character so accurately that it's a cartoon.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: See, Okay, this is where you're jack right, and just
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: everyone is not giving characters anymore. So when someone gives
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: a character, yeah, you're like, oh, they're actually you doing
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: front facing common but it's no, that's acting. Everyone else
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: is just showing.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: Up and just doing their normal voice.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: That was everybody feeling yeah, oh my god, the brothers,
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Oh my god, the fucking brothers.
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: Well, the dad British, you know what's that guy's name.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Whenever you see someone give it a really good performance, obviously.
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: They're a brit and they're doing like an obscure Southern accent.
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: I mean the backflips that man's doing. If you're ever
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: audition for something and there's a British dude and that
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: you go home, you go home. They don't want an
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: American actor for this.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: If they can do brit No, it's not the other
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: way round, Absolutely not.
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: The Americans goes right, Oliver twist every times, graceful.
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: We can't do it.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: Can you do any accent?
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Hmmm mmm? I could do. Okay, We're gonna get your
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: family back. That's the blood time. And that's South African.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: That's a DiCaprio.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: That's over there. It's bling bling over HiT's bling bang.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: We're gonna get your family back family. Can you do
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: any Oh god, it's so you feel so naked when
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: you're trying to do an accent. Hey, we gotta we
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: got to prove our special skills in a resume. I
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: mean you can do Midwest. I mean I can do
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: anybody can do a Midwest the friends of mcdoran. Don't
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: you yeah, don't you have an attack? It was in
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: Wadder whoa Okay?
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: I like when I like when you can spell it out?
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: Can you do Pittsburgh? No? My god, that one feels
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: like you have to go to a witch to learn
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: that you don't just do a Pittsburgh accent, Like, what
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: the I mean that's another language when you say you
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: got you?
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a witch.
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: I wouldn't able to even point it out, like it's
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: such a it's very obscure. I only know if they
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: zoom in on Pittsburgh in the beginning. Oh yeah, then
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: if it's mister rogers neighborhood.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: That's right.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: He didn't have a Pittsburgh accent. There's the flaw in
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: the shoe Pittsburgh. Yes, oh he has the little uh.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: I went to Pittsburgh for a wedding and wrote the
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: what is that a funicular that goes up the hill?
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: Doesn't he have a little trolley or something? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure on a list? Does this feel right
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: to you? Analas is confused at least gave us the
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: light Fred Rogers, turn.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: It off, turn it offwo pounds his whole life.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: One hundred and forty two. Famously, he had have bragged
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: about it the first of every episode, taking my shoes
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: off one hundred and forty four in shoes.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Yes, yes, because he's his couch is constantly weighing him
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: one hundred.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: And forty eight in Puppets.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: Yeah, really I never started thinking about what of the
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: what was the scary puppet?
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: Oh, the kind again devil. Yes, it was kind of
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: a devil.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Is It was Lady Elaine.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: And her face was very rubbery, wasn't it. And her
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: nose was very unforgiving.
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: Yeah, And and she had she had a chin.
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: And she was it was like the chin almost me nose.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: You know that persons have to know good, that's right.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: She terrified when you could see the dream Works kid
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: fishing from their chi, from the chin to the nose,
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: you know, you know some.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: Where it's his movie. There's some ip that could be exploited.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: Oh, they're doing it, and they're having Will Poulters playing him.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: I actually am happy to believe that Will Polters as
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: a DreamWorks kid, and it's him finally catching something.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: It's him finally find out and it's of course a
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: love letter to movies. That's he catches a VHS, teaches
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: children about the importance of films.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Yes, and he filas it, d bones and filates the
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: DHS coming brutal. Yeah, the Daniels are doing it, so
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: it's gonna be it's gonna be w It's gonna be fine.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: Ah, it's gonna be fine, gonna be talking. Is this
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: e Bon's world? Woo oh my god? Oh is this
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: a fucking internet from twenty twelve? Yes, yes, any anyway,
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: I think I feel like I should give us the
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: light to play the game. I think we're to the
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: reports that actually I do want to ask you. I
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: don't want to leave the clothing before asking you, like
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: what your shopping style is, because you do obviously like
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: how are you filling out your wardrobe? You're the only
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: person in the world I care about asking this question.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: I I try to do a different outfit every time
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: I'm on stage, and that is getting pretty crazy.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: This sounds exhausting, and.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: It's just very intuitive. I Am not to sound like
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: you know, you'll maybe just you know, mystic or anything.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: But if I just wake up from a dream and
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: I just have this, for example, I'm like, I need
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: something with a purple faux for collar.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Sure, And I google purple faux for.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: Collar and yeah, and I'm finding that this is this
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: is all women stuff, I think, but typically finding thank you.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: I've been doing mostly on stage. I've been doing more
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: British men's clothes with British men's bodies are fitted.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: They're like my body.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: Sure, the American body the Americans men closed is like
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: you know, it's as John Wayne.
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: It's a refrigerator box every time, exactly exactly. And I'm
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: sure you see this and you're very I would say,
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: you're somebody that could be in the intro of one
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: hundred and one Dollmations character with a dog or the dog.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: I'm the rare guy who's walking himself and they cut
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: to live action for that one and they play a
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: low drone.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: But yeah, it's but you have a very like more
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: of a British energy.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: I appreciate that people that, yeah, people that don't hear
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: me speak if they just see photos of me jump
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: to British. People that have known me from memes thought
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: that al was British.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: Interesting, Well, Fleming sounds British.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, sure, yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: Who's the other famous Fleming? Ian Fleming Ian Fleming? Yeah,
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: uncle uncle, yeah. Part of the Barbara Barkley broccoln.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Broccoli, Barbara Broccley, which sounds like a Veggietails protagonist.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: I keep saying Barbara Barkley, which is probably part of
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: the Charles Foundation.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Well, Barbara Barkley sounds more like a human name, unless
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: like a.
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: Children like the first thought someone had for a fake name.
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: What's your name? Barbara Buckley Ralph's produce section.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: Yeah, looking at Watching twenty twenty with Barbara Walters or whatever.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: Barbara Broncley Bugley, Barbara Brockley.
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm glad that she's kind of I don't know
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: what the drama is there. People at wore over James Bond.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: I think she gave up. Maybe Amazon took over. The
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: details are so exhausting. I can't stand it.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: But I didn't know they were. Wait, is there is
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: there an issue?
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: Barbara owned James Bond and somehow she's lost control of
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: the IP he got away from it, slippery fish.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: It was a win the day on top of the
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Empire State Building.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: Damn it and Bezos. It's in his teeth? Is beyd
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: his gyro copter, the nets, the Hudson target.
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: But they're gonna put is it?
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Is it?
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: Josh O'Connor, do you think? Oh?
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Is he? Is he up for us?
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: I heard some sort of thing. I just believe I.
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: Heard it was truly the challenges guy.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: Oh that makes sense if he was there.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: I'm there.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: I'm there on opening night. He's a little young that
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: feels like teen bond to me.
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: That's what that's what it is. It's Bond Junior.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: It's like ju.
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: If they did Bond Jr. That I think I would
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: at least it would revitalize the formula.
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: And they want to have a lot of.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: Oh teens, they're shooting in the same studios last Man's standing. Yeah,
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Barbara demanded it. Yeah, okay, I think it's time to
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: play a game. Were gonna play a game called Gift Recurse.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: I need to number between one and ten from you. Seven.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: I have to do some like calculating to get our
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: game pieces right now. You can promote, recommend, do whatever
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: you want to.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: Do some basic math, yes, okay, I recommend. Oh I
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: hate to do this. I watched Companion, which is a
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Sophie Thatcher I think is her name. I get obsessed
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: with actors, and I got obsessed with Sophie Thatcher and
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: I that she played. Oh, I not even I don't
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: want to give anything away, but it's a good little
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: horror movie that I liked. That was fun and Dennis
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Quaid's son plays a douche in it who and he
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: does a really convincing job of it.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: And I'm not in it or involved in it anyway.
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: In fact, even when I when I audition for things now,
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: it's almost like they're just trying to make sure I'm
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: not the right person for the part. That's kind of
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: that's kind of what an audition feels like. We thought
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: we were sure you weren't. We wanted to really make
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: sure you were wrong that' thank you for coming, we
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: can cross you off.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: Let's see here. Oh my god, I'm a mess. You're
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: doing this with gloves. Forget it, you were typing with gloves.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: I'm just trying to select with gloves.
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: For those who went home. Bridger isn't.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: I don't know if you ever went to space camp,
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: but when you have to put your hands into the
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: space box in the midst and you're wearing it's like
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: what it feels that's what Bridge is doing on his
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: I never got I got robbed of that opportunity.
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: I never got to do space Box.
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: We're too busy doing foods.
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: Foods, learning to how to make no baked cookies.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: It's like what they yell at Urgent care foods is
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: crashing foods foods.
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: Can you tie me to these and see.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: If I go after the show, I've got a gun
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: to shoot you down. Thing's gonna out of control. Okay, No,
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: this is this is how we play Gift or curse.
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: I'm going to name three things and you're going to
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: tell me if they are a gift or a curse
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: and why, And I'll tell you if you're right or wrong.
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: Because there are correct answers, you can fail, and to
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: fail on a fifth anniversary tough feeling. We can't have that.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: This first one of this is from a we don't
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: even know who it's from. It's an unmarked grave of
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: It's from Instagram Live, so we don't know your name.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: Gift you a curse. Sneezing while driving.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Curse. I mean it's pleasure, it's one sixteenth of an orgasm,
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: but but you're blinded. I mean it's where it's it's
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: incredibly dangerous, you know, sneezing while driving because you go
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: you can't because you physically cannot seize with your eyes
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: open unless you're you know, ci A trained.
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: Oh they probably do train for that.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, West Point, they spend they spend a little weekend
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: doing that.
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: It's a little trick.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: You gotta pinch yourself right here, you got you got.
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: When you get a little true, then you can graduate.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Is you get your gun in your badge.
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: It is probably a an orgasm that got to be scientific.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Right, Well, that's what we were talking.
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: In the fractions of course.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: And orgasm doing cocaine is is like six orgasms. Remember,
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: they would tell you that's like Jesus, it's like a
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: full body orgasm.
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: That's what they would te us about coke.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Do not do this wrong.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: It's a gift.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: Sneezing while driving, right, it's a vacation. What a feeling.
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: It's a vacation. It's an escape. Yeah, yeah, it's a trial.
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: I feel like it's like God's little driving test. It's like,
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: that's so fun. What else can he put in front
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: of you other than a sneeze? You're right, how are
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: you gonna do it?
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: If if the divine were in charge of your of
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: getting your license, that would be before parallel parking, sneezing
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: in the on the freeway, put a little pepper in
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: your in your snout, you're driving, face you pass, You
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: didn't total in fucking t bone the bridge.
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's absolutely a gift for that alone. It's just like,
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: how often are you put you're going seventy, you're blowing
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: snot all over the in shield zone. Baby, Seventies is
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: about as fast as I'll go. Yeah, and that's when
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: I'm in.
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: A rush before you give out.
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: Not the car, I pass.
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: That's seventy one. I passed out, swarms across the brew.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Forty. It's like when a pilot goes into the into
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: the what the G zone?
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: This is why we keep you on a scooter.
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: The TA zone. That's why they keep you in the scooter.
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: That's right, But yeah, it is a gift. Seizing while
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: driving is absolutely a gift. God's little driving test. And
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: we've all been through it. It levels the playing fields
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: for all of us. We've all been through it.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: But if everyone seeds the same time, Oh that look
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: like it looks like the next Diehard movie. What will
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: Bruce stew Yeah, everyone's car just.
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: Exact same angle. Everyone just goes and Bruce has to
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: come out. Oh fuck yeah, it's it's up there with
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: Bee in car. But with what with the b in
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: the car, you be in the car. I have we
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: love to be in the car.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: I want to drove a tree frog from North Carolina
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: to like Vermont. I was like, oh, oh god, do
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: you have to go back?
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: Is in the passenger seat back back, of course, complaining
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: about your driving turned down the music.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: Didnight. It's gonna be good.
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: Teenage, Okay, you've got I've seen Katy Perry in the flesh.
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: I literally have before fame at sun Dance performing acoustic guitar.
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: Can you imagine anything you're gonna.
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: Get You're gonna get sniped for sake, like she's trying to.
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: She's been trying to track me down. I'm the last
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: survivor of that concert, and she won't get it. She
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: plays guitar. She played on the side. This was some
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: sort of fever dream.
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: No, no, this is real.
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: You know, because I lived and I grew up in
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: Salt Lake. We would up to Sundance like as teens
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: are like in college, just to experience what was going
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: on and will holding the cross I hope, yeah, of course,
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: of course, trying to let people know what you're doing
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: is wrong.
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: Or just even under the shirt self protection.
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. Case it got a little too crazy,
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: but we ended up at a Katy Perry concert or
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: like I think it was a few different musicians. And
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: this must have been in two thousand and seven, whoa
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: before I kissed girls. Yes, it was like it was
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: her crossover from I'll do it, I kissed a girl
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: and I'll do it again, nis.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: Threat, I kissed the girl and you can't prove it.
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: You can't prove shit. You didn't see shit, you don't
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: know shit.
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: Uh no, she was. We went to this concert and
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: here's this woman, Katy Perry on acoustic guitar trying to
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: I think, kind of crossover from Christianity to kissing a
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: girl and et cetera. And so it was kind of
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: like they trying to get out of that plastic bag
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: kind of a thing. Yeah, yes, and it rubbed me
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: the wrong way. Certainly must say that she's blue onto
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: the scene. And again this could have been another Katy Perry.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: I don't know that much about this was Katy Perry.
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: The world of Katy Perry.
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: So I felt when I saw a Vampire Weekend play
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: a basement show, I was like and like before they
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: blew up.
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: And how was that experience? These guys, That's what the Cassio.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: I remember thinking like, oh, take off the boat shoes,
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: and then they're like, nassy, Yeah, they're one of the biggest.
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: I'm a terrible judge of who's gonna pop.
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: Oh, don't think they're gonna pop.
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: You're fucked. Of course my taste. Oh, I mean, I've
- 1:25:36Speaker 3: had a lot of career nightmares about realizing all the
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: things I like are the things that fail.
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: Yeah, basically exactly.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Katy Perry. I saw her at a she was at
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: a I went to see Ellen do stand up, and
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were in front. They were
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: in the back row, and so they she comes in
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: in a bodysuit and she was showing I didn't know
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: this to make this part of the body hoigh.
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: Because it's all about seeing things that you shouldn't be see.
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, of course, it's like, wait, why there's never a
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: hole there? Like if I had a hole here, oh,
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: people would go nuts. People would be like dogs. I've
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: got a super U T shirt that's got a little
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: hole there, and every time I left my shirt up,
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: I think, oh, people are going crazy.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: People are all fours begging for more. All right, sorry, Okay,
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: what's the next, gift.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: For a course curse? Uh, okay, so you've gotten.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: I've gotten zero free, we've done two, we've done.
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: Two on at least you've done one. Yes, we've done.
- 1:26:28Speaker 3: Sneezing while driving? Okay, gift your a curse. This is
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: from alissener named Emily. Emily trying to figure out what
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: gave you food poisoning.
- 1:26:38Speaker 4: Trying to figure out what gave you food poisoning a
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: gift or a curse?
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: Wow, Okay, I believe that you that there is no trying,
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: there's knowing when you you know. But I'm even speaking
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: of broccoli. One time I went to Lemonade. That place
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: gone for good?
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: In the broccoli?
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Is it?
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: I think they're all gone.
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: Ellie X still has one.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: I think a lot of.
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: Things that should have been dead a long time.
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: The broccoli.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: I got sick for broccoli, and I the second I
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: began my spew, I see a stock image of broccoli
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: in my entire You just know, you just know, So
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: you don't you don't try to figure it out. You
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: either know or you don't.
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: So you're saying gift, oh or curse? Right?
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: I guess I didn't answer the question. I going to
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: figure out is a it's a gift.
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: It's a gift, correct I you know, I'm kind of
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: on the same page. The body knows what the body knows.
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: It's in your DNA. That's right, that's right if you
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: don't know. But this is where it becomes a gift.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: It becomes a mystery, and it begins. You're going back,
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: you're looking at the polaroids. It combines mystery, the potential
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: to accuse someone, accuse a lot of people, and customer
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: service combined. These are all the things I love to do.
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: It's a beautiful trifector right there.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: So look, I've always known what poisoned me. I've always
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: known while eating it. Basically, here it goes, I'm out
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: of control of my life.
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: Desert sushi, you know, Yeah, let's get Let's get sushi
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: and palm springs.
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: Chicken under the car, you know whatever.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: Chicken under the girl interrupted and she keeps out on
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: the bed. Remember Brittany Murphy, I have a single.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: Interrupted is something I don't know about.
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: She's embarrassing. She has like a rotissery chicken under her bed.
- 1:28:27Speaker 3: Costco.
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: They're like, what's wrong with this girl?
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: And it's like, you've got a chicken under there, got
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: chicken for poisoning? That's that's no mystery. She's not figuring
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: that out. Okay, so you've gotten one out of tude
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: so far. That's pretty good, not bad. That's really good.
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: And finally, this is from one of our Patreon listeners
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: named Caitlin Gift her a curse msg Oh the seasoning?
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: Oh very much a gift?
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: Why oh? Because you're like, if you're going to go out,
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: it's like doing something naughty. It feels like because everyone
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: speaks so ill of it. Right when you have it,
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: it's like a question.
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a gift, of course. I mean msg. You know,
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: I feel like there must have been some dateline or
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: report in nineteen ninety four saying it his poison, which
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: is simply not true. It's a fun season and what
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: is it for salt? It makes up a lot of
- 1:29:25Speaker 3: different cuisines that I adore.
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: Is a Madison Square garden.
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: It's Madison Square Garden. Okay, interesting? How have I never
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: made that.
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: Kind of They franchised there, yea, they.
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: Made into a season.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: Hey, hey, we're doing really well. You think we should
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: be a seasoning?
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: I want to say it's mono sodium. The g is
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: there's the mystery. Yeah, gangster gangster like gangster mono SoundCloud wrappers.
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: So when so when I hear sodium, Yeah, I think
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: we're talking salt crystals.
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: I love salt. My low my blood pressure is rock bottom.
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: I need as much all do as I can get.
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: Oh yeah, no I haven't.
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: I haven't had to take it up, take it.
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: I don't even bother taking my I freak out when they.
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: Come from the doctor says no, I didn't. I didn't
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: sign up for this.
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't want to know.
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: You can take my temperature, but do not.
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: I hate when I hate when they squeeze it and
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: then you feel your thing pumping.
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: Oh there's your body. There's I don't want to know.
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: It's out of body experience.
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: I don't want to know.
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: So yeah, MSG rocks.
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: I love m s's saying it's monodium glutamate glutamate.
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: One sodium glutamate, just one do so much work.
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: Exactly, getting so much getting shipped on my baby, MSG
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: is it's the pit bulls of seasoning.
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: I am not kidding. I thought pit bulls seriously. Pit
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: bulls have been so maligned by the dateline. Yes, article,
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: or why do I keep saying article? It's a news
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: magazine and we all trust it. I feel like those
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: daytime news shows in the nineties were like, pit bulls
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: are evil, piples do not have m S.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: Street York shouldn't have one.
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: That's one outfit, and MSG is going to kill you.
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: You your kids can blow your house up. Wrong? Wrong, wrong. Yeah,
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: I'm petting a pit bull and eating a bowl of MST,
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: pulling that on whatever you.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: Want, feeding my pitple MSG, as we see, of course,
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: out of my own mouth, and he's wearing a little
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: beaded collar to show you that he's not gonna be mean.
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: My only question is it wet or dry the food?
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: Yeah, MSG, Yeah, Well there's only one of them, so
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: it can't be too wet. Oh yeah, so it's monogue
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: the glue the gluekid, I mean, dries it out.
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just there.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it's wet. Well, because it's usually part of
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: like a noodle.
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: It's yeah, usually like on a it's in wet foods usually,
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: so you should be able to search that on door
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: dash just MST wet foods, wet foods. That should be
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: a whole category.
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: Italian Japanese vegan wet foods.
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: But soup does not fall under that category. That's another thing.
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: That's a drink.
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: I mean we know that it's a drink.
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: Or a cereal. So you keep that out of my
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: wet food really, keep out in the rain. I don't
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: do soups for that reason. You don't need a soup.
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: I love a soup. That's Ellie's biggest problem. No soups,
- 1:32:14Speaker 3: very few soups. Where do you find soups? Toronto, Toronto?
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: You gotta go to Toronto, Portland. Yeah, and probably northern Florida
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: they're not eating soup. And South Florida. But yeah, may
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: of course, I mean chowders, what have you.
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: I can't do a creepy soup.
- 1:32:33Speaker 3: Oh that is that's a line too far, Yeah, bridge
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: too far.
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: I like a beef stew. Oh, I love a good
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: beef stew. I'm getting Oh, and you never get an
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: opportunity for a stew.
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: I thought you were gonna say, and you never get hungry.
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: And you never get that's the thing everybody knows about you.
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, a stew Because a stew takes a village.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: It takes a village and no restaurant can gather that
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: to make a step.
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you asked for a restaurant.
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: They go, no, I'm sure there's the exit unless is
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: this room and board, Like if you're staying the night,
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: if you're a traveler.
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: The shutters are being banged against the house and there's
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: a storm, then you can have a stew. Yeah, while
- 1:33:14Speaker 3: you try to get to bed in a creaky bed.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: Bernie's Mountain Dog is gonna wake you up tomorrow, then
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: you can have a stew. Other than that.
- 1:33:21Speaker 4: Note, you know, Bernie's Mountain dogs live to be like six.
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: Oh, that's tough. It's like an anol an anol. This
- 1:33:28Speaker 3: is that's the sort of thing where the breeding has
- 1:33:29Speaker 3: gone bad.
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: Yes, you gotta get little Chuawa. And that's what the
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: Chuas are.
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: They're Conquista doors in La.
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: They hook up with every dog and they and what
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: they're doing. Think they're just slatting, But what they're doing
- 1:33:42Speaker 2: is they're adding the life expectancy. They're saying, we want
- 1:33:47Speaker 2: you to live, we want your proseny to live another
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: three or four years. That's all they're doing.
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: This should be a law that, like every pure bread
- 1:33:55Speaker 3: and dog right now should just be bred with the
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: chuava and moving forward. Every animal should have a but
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: at least a drop of chihuahua.
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: Right, what does sound like something that chiualas would would
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: want to get started?
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: Oh, they'd get behind that.
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: They'd be like, sick, little freak, tell me in I
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: got nothing.
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: Well you got uh two out of three? Two out
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: of three.
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: That's bad, that's great.
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: Could have flopped.
- 1:34:21Speaker 4: It's like grades that you start getting senior year.
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, of course. It's like, oh, I've written into
- 1:34:27Speaker 3: the college. You can't catch me now.
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: I got in an early decision round two, not not
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: round one, trying to get in a vast round one.
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: They said, yeah, nah, Drake, try again anywhere else.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: Okay, on a least, I think it's time for your
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: gift a curse. Alys has one. We're both going to
- 1:34:48Speaker 3: answer to and try to be correct.
- 1:34:50Speaker 6: Great gifter a curse the Little Shake Connections does the
- 1:34:54Speaker 6: game Connections.
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: Are connection connections? Okay, So this is a hard one
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: for you, and you're gonna have to speak to Okay,
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: I'm going to demand you speak to it.
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: Connections is a like Wordles style game where you have
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: to It has four different categories and you have to
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: like essentially figure out which words belong in which category.
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: There are sixteen words, four categories. How do we line
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: these up? And when you get it wrong? Sounds way
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: harder than a wordle. Oh, it's way harder. And that's
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: why I do it, because I'm smarter than everyone, Like, yeah,
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: you need the stimulation. Yes, world could be up right,
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: whordles the lottery. My word is just two letters.
- 1:35:28Speaker 4: And I get thirty.
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: That's worth trying. Maybe that's maybe that is hard. Actually,
- 1:35:34Speaker 3: it might be difficult. It might be harder. It's worth trying, somebody.
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: Actually the intent was funny, but in practice what you
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: aren't discussing is a much more challenging game.
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: So connections is imagine wordle. If you get it wrong
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: and the whole while looking at it, there's a visual shake.
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: Oh fuck, what do you think of that?
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: It's negative reinforcement.
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: Negative reinforcement. I think that's brilliant.
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: And I'm sure that whoever figured that out studied you know, uh,
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: you know, psychology and how to hurt us, you know,
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: and things that when people are working with us on
- 1:36:12Speaker 2: that on that kind of visceral level, like negative reinforcement
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: or what feels good what doesn't feel like apps know
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: what feels Oh, they know exactly, So that means they
- 1:36:19Speaker 2: know what feels bad, yes, and just start doing things
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: that feel bad.
- 1:36:24Speaker 4: That's funny. That's a gift. That's a gift.
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: I think as a wordle Uveser curse. You don't know
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: this feeling, Chris. This is a bad, genuinely horrible feeling.
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: Like your eyes are like, it hurts. It hurts to
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: see the shake. And I don't need that from the
- 1:36:43Speaker 3: New York Times, not right now, not in this environment,
- 1:36:46Speaker 3: not in this atmosphere.
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: I need is Klein in a Wizard of Our situation.
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: Screaming into a microphone.
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: Yeah it's high pitched.
- 1:36:58Speaker 3: Death whistle, death whistle, Yeah it is. It hurts, and
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: you know it's the beginning of my day. I need
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: a little. My self esteem is at rock bottom at
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: all times. And we're talking about about three thirty.
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: Curtains in your penthouse con though.
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: Squinty wiping the crust from my eyes. My hair is
- 1:37:21Speaker 3: still wet.
- 1:37:22Speaker 4: Thirty cast begging for food.
- 1:37:24Speaker 3: Get out of here. I gotta play connections. But it
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: really does hurt, and I feel like they what they
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: need to do. It should be a warm glow. When
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: you get something wrong. It should be just like an
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: amber glow. Gentle parenting, gentle parenting, Thank you. I don't
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: know if that's where we are, where we stand with parenting,
- 1:37:41Speaker 3: or if we've gotten back into shaking. I don't think
- 1:37:43Speaker 3: we have. I think we're probably headed that way. Oh yeah,
- 1:37:47Speaker 3: back with Western.
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: That's a problem with rubber band. You know, you go
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: so far and then the other it's yes, the correction,
- 1:37:53Speaker 2: the correction.
- 1:37:53Speaker 3: And I feel like this is the beginning of that
- 1:37:55Speaker 3: correction because it feels it's agony and I hate it.
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: It's a curse.
- 1:37:58Speaker 2: It's agony.
- 1:38:00Speaker 3: It's a gift, a gift.
- 1:38:02Speaker 6: Not on this episode, we are to me this is
- 1:38:05Speaker 6: an indication that we are one step away from actually
- 1:38:08Speaker 6: having the phone physically shake. Now, have we had a chance.
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: We touch our phones all the time like a rumble pack.
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: Yeah, start our phones touch us.
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: That's what I want to know.
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: You that.
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: Oh see, this is where you get red flags from
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: people you work with and you start to and then
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: you'res down the road. There's an actual betrayal and you think, oh, well,
- 1:38:33Speaker 3: they wanted the phone to shake.
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: But what you're saying, analys is actually that one day
- 1:38:39Speaker 2: this could lead to the phone giving you intuitive cranial massage.
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: That's that is what because think about your phone. Yeah,
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: you're right, and also it's a two way street. We're
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: touching that thing all day, phone touches back.
- 1:38:53Speaker 3: This all goes back to snakes. So, yes, you think
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: it's a good idea, Now it's the devil.
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: That's right.
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: Well, I'm correct. I don't know what either of you
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: are talking about. We need to answer at least a
- 1:39:05Speaker 3: couple of listener messages people have sent in voicemails or
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: what happened send them.
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: Let's see something.
- 1:39:11Speaker 4: A couple of listeners chained up outside.
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: Yeah, they'll die. They won't be asking any questions.
- 1:39:15Speaker 2: And it turned off hot tub so it's fifty five degrees.
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: Please let us not call them first.
- 1:39:22Speaker 4: But it's actually getting it's pretty bad.
- 1:39:25Speaker 3: No listeners sent voice notes and we got we got
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: too many to answer on the show. We'll do that
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: through other episodes, but let's do a couple at.
- 1:39:32Speaker 2: Least, are you using the cameras that BMX bikers use?
- 1:39:35Speaker 2: That like naturally follow up?
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: Do you say BMX, I had a dream last night
- 1:39:38Speaker 3: that I had to do. I had to go on
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: a BMX on Jimmy Fallon. I'm not kidding. I don't
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: know where, I don't know. I don't care about either
- 1:39:48Speaker 3: of those things. They're probably both the opposite of my personality,
- 1:39:52Speaker 3: and I like it was like, oh, I have to
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: do BMX question.
- 1:39:55Speaker 2: At least playing you in he better bella.
- 1:39:59Speaker 3: Silence, silence, I silently write a BMX hunt the Tonight show,
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: A tiny little BMX all Fox racing gear. Tom.
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you're on the pegs. You're doing one of those
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: handlebar Remember how bad asked those kids were. I thought
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: they were going to rule the world.
- 1:40:16Speaker 3: Where are those most of them?
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: YEA rough endings for this that a lot of kids
- 1:40:23Speaker 3: die from high school, and I think it's most of
- 1:40:25Speaker 3: the Fox racing. I mean yes, yes, yeah, yeah, math gets.
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: You, Yes it does, Yes, it does.
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: Onalise. Let's answer some questions.
- 1:40:34Speaker 7: Hi Bridger, Hi Analise.
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: My name is Shane.
- 1:40:37Speaker 7: I am a Day one listener and my question for you,
- 1:40:41Speaker 7: Bridger is whether or not you have any special hidden talents,
- 1:40:46Speaker 7: like something kind of random or weird that you never
- 1:40:50Speaker 7: really had an opportunity to show off. But you have
- 1:40:53Speaker 7: this aching, burning desire to really have an opportunity to
- 1:40:57Speaker 7: share with the world.
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: They do. Thanks people. I know that anyone in showbiz
- 1:41:01Speaker 3: has no hidden talent. Yeah, I don't have like a visible.
- 1:41:04Speaker 2: We have We have put every little single piece of
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: our abilities on public display.
- 1:41:10Speaker 3: They truly have nothing. And people are like, that's I
- 1:41:13Speaker 3: guess that's she's trying.
- 1:41:15Speaker 2: You know who this, You know who's to blame for this?
- 1:41:17Speaker 2: And I hope I'm getting your name right. Amanda Seyfried
- 1:41:19Speaker 2: who played who sang the Jonny Mitchell song and played
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: like the the freaking like a sideways instrument.
- 1:41:25Speaker 3: So did she do that in a show on Jimmy Fallen.
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna say, like she did it
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: in the The Therese TV.
- 1:41:31Speaker 4: That's what I'm talking about. She Oh, yeah, if you
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: stay after.
- 1:41:35Speaker 3: The credits, it's a bonus scene.
- 1:41:37Speaker 4: She plays a dul somewher or whatever.
- 1:41:38Speaker 3: Elizabeth Holmes on the auto harp looping well. And so
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: she showed up and was like, look what I can
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: do and.
- 1:41:44Speaker 4: She sings like a pitch perfect Johny Mitchell.
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: Of course you don't have those. I mean, do you
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: have hidden skills of all?
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: No? No, no, I have put I have uh commercialized
- 1:41:56Speaker 2: every one of my abilities.
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: You got to be everything. You gotta do it all. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: I mean like minor, like I would say you're pathetic.
- 1:42:04Speaker 3: Like I could claim to having a good uh internal clock,
- 1:42:09Speaker 3: good circadian rhythm. Yes, like I can generally tell what
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: time of day it is. And that's a great that
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: is that is a great thing to do on America's
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: Got Talent. Oh you just stand there. I'm pretty sure
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: it feels like eight oh one the audience, how flads boom,
- 1:42:28Speaker 3: We're going to Ventura. I could do that. I will
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: say I'm a powerful dancer. Yeah, but that's kind of
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: part forming and just all of this.
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: And then in Boy Scott's I was a good This
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: was a scary one for a child to be good
- 1:42:42Speaker 3: at this.
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: You're a good good shot. Stop wait we boys shout camp.
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: We had to do rifle shooting. No, look, this was
- 1:42:49Speaker 3: a maybe this was like deep cover for my homosexuality.
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: I was like, I've got to do something straight.
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: Was nineteen twenty.
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: Turn of the century. No, this was you know, a
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: boy scout camp. You would have to shoot something, probably
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: cans or targets.
- 1:43:06Speaker 2: Jesus Christ.
- 1:43:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they're killers. And you were a good shot.
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: I had to shoot from my friends were bad and
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: I helped them cheat.
- 1:43:14Speaker 4: See you, we're that good.
- 1:43:15Speaker 3: I was that good. I mean I haven't tried since,
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: but I guess people should be forewarned that you're a
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: good shot. Yeah. I mean, see that is see you that.
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: Has hidden talent, the fact that you are a good shot. No,
- 1:43:31Speaker 2: I can't think of anything like I was bad. My
- 1:43:34Speaker 2: dad really wanted he was. He was really it was
- 1:43:36Speaker 2: a ship rat as a kid, so he wanted me
- 1:43:38Speaker 2: to be a sailor. Oh and I can't read them.
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: To dissociated, so I'm always capsizing. That feels like a
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: scale to put you on a path.
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: To be able to capsize. Uh.
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: I played the tube? Okay, there we go, Okay, play
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: how long did you play the tuba?
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: Well? Played the baritone horn, and then in high school
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: we didn't have a too of player, so they gave
- 1:44:03Speaker 2: me the tube, and no one taught me how, and
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: so I would just I just tried to, but I did.
- 1:44:08Speaker 2: I hated playing the bassline, so I would try to
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: play the melody and they'd be like, you got to
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: hold out, and Louis, louay, you gotta hold on the baseline.
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: I'd be like, that's no fun. They're like we can
- 1:44:18Speaker 3: hear you like you were overpowering every noise that's been made.
- 1:44:22Speaker 4: And not and not getting it right because I don't
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: have I don't have that, so.
- 1:44:26Speaker 3: No, wow too bug. Was there ever any temptation to
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: join like a ska band? They do too.
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: We got into it. We me and my best friends
- 1:44:34Speaker 2: almost did that. Wow, and luckily.
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: It came through life had other plans.
- 1:44:40Speaker 2: Yeah, because I did play a little trump a little
- 1:44:43Speaker 2: trump bone briefly, right, but that you have to be.
- 1:44:45Speaker 3: A talk about it's.
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: Clairvoyance and also knowing this is it's not.
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: There's like you really have to know the just general feel.
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: You have to tap into your ancestors like to know.
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: And it's like crazy to be like this is be wow.
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no chance. I need the black and white keys.
- 1:45:03Speaker 3: I need a real clear indication of what I'll be
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: pushing you tickle those ivories. I'm tickling them so bad.
- 1:45:09Speaker 3: At the piano I took ten years. Yeah, I couldn't
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: possibly my.
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: Piano teacher asked me to stop, please stop after after
- 1:45:17Speaker 2: we had a mutual wow, you're not not even split
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: third grade because my sister was so good because you
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: got to be a fucking rule follower.
- 1:45:25Speaker 3: I'm I'm sorry. You got to be people.
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: The people that were really killing it in Piano Lessons, Yeah,
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: it's they're not. I mean the world that they're setting
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: themselves up for a world for a pre nine to
- 1:45:35Speaker 2: eleven one.
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: The kids that got kicked.
- 1:45:38Speaker 3: Out of piano Oh, we were ready to go.
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: Now, let's let's mike them up. Let's let's hear it
- 1:45:43Speaker 4: from they got.
- 1:45:45Speaker 2: Let's hear from the disruptors who are trying to sight
- 1:45:48Speaker 2: read at the recital for a duet.
- 1:45:52Speaker 3: Ban from Piano Lessons, asked.
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: To step down. Hey, Chris, we don't want your money anymore.
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: When someone is like saying this is bad for my business,
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: I still you know you're not You shouldn't be playing
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: that instagment, you know you Okay. I feel like we
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: answered that.
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: I think we did a wonderful job answering that. Let's
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: do Let's do two more, Let's do sixteen more. Let's
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: do at least sixteen more. Have the less one not
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: be a question. They'll just be reading a.
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: Book and open ended an essay.
- 1:46:18Speaker 8: Hello Bridger, Hello, Anally's it is Stephen Ray Morris calling
- 1:46:22Speaker 8: in to wish I said, no gifts. A happy fifth
- 1:46:25Speaker 8: year anniversary for Believe. It's already been five years, and
- 1:46:30Speaker 8: I just wanted to ask a question. I'm not sure
- 1:46:32Speaker 8: if it's ever been asked on the podcast, but is
- 1:46:35Speaker 8: there ever a gift that's too personal?
- 1:46:38Speaker 3: Anyway?
- 1:46:39Speaker 8: Love you both, congrats again.
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: Have a former employee make it through the fence.
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: Seeing that face you made, Steven. He found me to
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: see the internal workings of the teeth.
- 1:46:53Speaker 3: What was the question? Are there too many as.
- 1:46:55Speaker 4: A gift to personal?
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: To personal?
- 1:46:58Speaker 3: Never? Never person never never never I means test. I
- 1:47:07Speaker 3: think test results. You can have a fun moment with
- 1:47:10Speaker 3: here's the you know, we're opening the envelope. We're all
- 1:47:14Speaker 3: expecting something.
- 1:47:15Speaker 4: We know, yeah, we know you got something.
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: We know it can't be returned, so it's valuable. People
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: are giving locks of their hair away, totally, people are
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: people are grabbing hair, Sure, giving teeth, you know, tooth necklaces.
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: I don't know that there's anything too personal, too scary. Sure, totally,
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: it's a different We're talking about two different things. There
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: too personal? Yeah, what is per I guess it's really
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: what is personal to you? And uh, you know, I
- 1:47:47Speaker 3: think that you just can't go too far.
- 1:47:48Speaker 2: You should push.
- 1:47:49Speaker 3: I think with gift giving you should be pushing as
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: far as personal. Absolutely, the person should always before opening
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: a gift from you should always be questioning what am
- 1:47:59Speaker 3: I going to do? What? What am I going to
- 1:48:01Speaker 3: do this?
- 1:48:02Speaker 4: Now that I know this?
- 1:48:06Speaker 3: Leave them wanting ads as much less as possible.
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: Security camp like a snapshot of you in a ring
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: cam at an active crime scene or something, and have
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: them you are implicating them.
- 1:48:19Speaker 3: Now this is you can do what you want with this,
- 1:48:22Speaker 3: now that your fingerprints are all over that.
- 1:48:24Speaker 4: I just want you to know I was there. You
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: can hate, you can not tell them, you can tell them.
- 1:48:31Speaker 3: That's why it's the gift. Yes, it's a project you
- 1:48:33Speaker 3: can do at home.
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: An ethics class a PhD like a challenging ethics class.
- 1:48:38Speaker 3: Exactly. Yes. So the question is, no, Steve, and don't
- 1:48:41Speaker 3: do not leave another voicemail.
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: Don't show your faith around here, Steve d.
- 1:48:47Speaker 3: Don't send a video message now that would be too personal.
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: What about a singing telegram? They remember those? Have you
- 1:48:53Speaker 3: gotten one before? Have you?
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: No?
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: I would love to I think they. I think Bob
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: Dole outlawed that. I think he passed for a bill
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: and like Elizabeth, you know, that was their kind of
- 1:49:04Speaker 2: pet project. They had one that went too far.
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: Yeah, Frank Sinatra song they didn't like or something.
- 1:49:10Speaker 2: And then they also tried to pass a bill that
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: was everyone has to have a vanity plate?
- 1:49:16Speaker 3: Bob did Bob and Liz? Yeah, I think pap your canon. Yeah,
- 1:49:21Speaker 3: do you have a vanity plate? Not yet, that's a
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: good answer.
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to vanity plate that I want to
- 1:49:28Speaker 2: play that looks like an any plate, but it's not.
- 1:49:30Speaker 3: Oh we're like a disoriented or something. Yeah, what puts
- 1:49:36Speaker 3: them in danger? So they're trying to figure out.
- 1:49:38Speaker 2: What's going on. It's like a sentence and it's like, no,
- 1:49:41Speaker 2: trust me, it's not an any play. That's a good idea.
- 1:49:45Speaker 3: Do you have one?
- 1:49:46Speaker 2: No?
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: No, but again maybe not yet. I'm just waiting for
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: the right guy to come along.
- 1:49:51Speaker 2: It's totally It's one of those things that your Maslow's
- 1:49:54Speaker 2: hierarchy needs to be. That fridge needs to be stopped.
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: Oh yeah, of course.
- 1:49:57Speaker 2: It's like before you start assigning photos to contact, like

- 1:50:48Speaker 5: A couple of hours.
- 1:50:49Speaker 3: I brought it from home.
- 1:50:50Speaker 5: I drove it here and I came while I was
- 1:50:53Speaker 5: in Santa Clarita for business, and I brought it from
- 1:50:57Speaker 5: my home. I don't live there, I was renting a home. Yes,
- 1:51:00Speaker 5: I got some ice cream right when I got there. Anyways,
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: are you going to have some?

- 1:51:16Speaker 5: ice cream pre scoop.
- 1:51:17Speaker 6: Well, Alanta, I noticed that you had some stuff on
- 1:51:20Speaker 6: your hands if you want, if you want to wipe
- 1:51:22Speaker 6: off your hands with.
- 1:51:24Speaker 2: You what is this I mean? I I is that? Okay?

- 1:51:38Speaker 3: Of a bridger?
- 1:51:39Speaker 6: I love you more than she loves you, and I
- 1:51:43Speaker 6: think that's very evident, look at pretty evident.
- 1:51:46Speaker 4: Yeah, that is definitely better than languages.
- 1:51:49Speaker 3: Probably didn't spend time at a Trump round.
- 1:51:52Speaker 5: I came all the way from Santa Clarita with my
- 1:51:56Speaker 5: homemade ice cream that I purchased from Vond's. And this
- 1:52:01Speaker 5: is how you treat me.
- 1:52:02Speaker 3: You know what.
- 1:52:02Speaker 2: I'm done?
- 1:52:03Speaker 5: No, I'm done.

- 1:52:14Speaker 5: how it pans out.
- 1:52:15Speaker 3: This looks so disgusting.
- 1:52:16Speaker 2: Is this safe? You think?
- 1:52:17Speaker 3: Oh, it's like baby vomit.
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: It's okay, stripping stage left.
- 1:52:26Speaker 5: The flavor is fresh.
- 1:52:28Speaker 3: It's past. We've added to the gloves.
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: I just didn't bring you anything.
- 1:52:33Speaker 5: I'm sorry.
- 1:52:34Speaker 3: I didn't bring you.
- 1:52:34Speaker 4: Anything a gift.
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: I feel rude and not offering you.
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: It's kind of something. There's something kind of teaky about it.
- 1:52:41Speaker 4: Looks like a teaki drink.
- 1:52:43Speaker 3: It's very coconut, very Yeah.
- 1:52:46Speaker 5: I gotta go key on a Lisa's car.
- 1:52:52Speaker 1: By. Yeah, no problem.
- 1:52:53Speaker 5: I was waiting behind the curtain for the whole recording,
- 1:52:56Speaker 5: and that's why the ice cream melted so much.
- 1:52:58Speaker 4: But I'm glad you got your pip.
- 1:53:00Speaker 2: Yeah, as long as you got to chat. Okay, I'll

- 1:53:18Speaker 3: is absolutely baffled as what's just been going on?
- 1:53:21Speaker 2: Yeah, for the listener at home, we have a lukewarm
- 1:53:22Speaker 2: ice cream, like like time has made it a milkshake,
- 1:53:26Speaker 2: and then a cake. A Lise has dropped off a
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: cake that had a lot of little Uh, it's on
- 1:53:32Speaker 2: the ground.
- 1:53:33Speaker 4: I wouldn't call this a floor. I call this a ground.
- 1:53:36Speaker 3: It felt like a you know, a desperate attempt to

- 1:53:41Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a hit piece.
- 1:53:42Speaker 3: I mean, here's the cake. Maybe I will use a
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: little spoon to have a bite.
- 1:53:46Speaker 4: It looks like a pie that might end up on
- 1:53:48Speaker 4: Jerry Lewis.
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: You know, let's try it out.
- 1:53:52Speaker 4: Yeah, let's just give it a nice Oh.
- 1:53:55Speaker 3: That's so much frosting. That amount of vanilla I'm consuming.
- 1:53:58Speaker 4: There's a handsome amount of frosting on this cake.
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: Camera blinding. It's a blinding white frosting with a kind
- 1:54:06Speaker 3: of yellow vanilla cake.
- 1:54:08Speaker 2: And do you want to cake? You know, I'm as
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: good as it looks and as good as the way
