- 0:00Smila Rahmad Raheem Assalam Alaikum and welcome back to
- 0:04another episode here on the aftermath of podcast.
- 0:07Brothers and sisters, I ask Allah Subhanawatahallah to
- 0:10accept all your fasts, your Amal and your Ibadi, your worship
- 0:14during the holy month of Ramadan.
- 0:17Now there are two things I want to mention.
- 0:19Firstly, over the last few days, we have been all commemorating
- 0:22the martyrdom of Imam Ali Ali, his Salaam.
- 0:25And it's important that we don't just commemorate his martyrdom,
- 0:28rather we live by him, we do right by him, we learn from him
- 0:32and we implement some of the values and the principles that
- 0:35he had, especially in today's world when it comes to hack and
- 0:39all our day-to-day lives. Another thing I want to mention
- 0:42is that brothers and sisters ourselves here, the aftermath of
- 0:45team, just like you, we've faced heavy nights over the last few
- 0:50weeks. Our brothers and sisters in Iran
- 0:52are facing constant aggression and bombardment as well as our
- 0:57brothers and sisters in Lubnan and of course not forgetting
- 1:00Reza. And these are holy nights.
- 1:01We ask, We humbly ask for you to raise your hands and extend it
- 1:06to Allah. Subhanahu at Allah and pray for
- 1:09the mummanin who are facing oppression all around the world.
- 1:13Don't lose this opportunity to worship Allah and ask for his
- 1:19intercession and ask for his divine intervention to grant the
- 1:23brothers and sisters victory and share Allah.
- 1:26Now I can't have these conversations alone.
- 1:28Of course, I'm joined by not a special guest, a special
- 1:33brother. And that's none other than the
- 1:35amazing, the wonderful, the humble, the eloquent.
- 1:49Ahmed Gokul Assalam. Ali, Ali, Ali, Ali, Ali.
- 1:57How are you? I'm OK bro, how has your shot on
- 2:02the bomb been? Straight to the point, huh?
- 2:06It's been different this year. It's been, I think like
- 2:09especially, really especially over the last two weeks.
- 2:15It's one where it's not just spirituality.
- 2:19No, it's trying to build the connection, not just with God,
- 2:22but with my Imam, with my living Imam, my breathing Imam.
- 2:26Because we look around the world today and we see what's
- 2:29happening and we hear the stories of what happened before
- 2:31us and now we live by it. We see it happening day-to-day,
- 2:34lives with us on our social media, whether we watch the
- 2:37television. And it makes you wonder, are we
- 2:40where we need to be? And these are things and
- 2:43thoughts I'm having myself, to be honest.
- 2:45What about you? Where to begin?
- 2:48Said, I think everything you've mentioned and your introduction
- 2:51was spot on and exactly how I'm feeling and I think how a lot of
- 2:54more meaning and I'm feeling at the moment.
- 2:56The last time we filmed Run Sisters, it was my dear brother
- 2:59Muhammad Ali. Our guests are like Armani and
- 3:02myself and Hamdullah. We had the opportunity to talk
- 3:05about Imam Ali Mehdi proving his existence rationally,
- 3:09academically, Islamically, as well as his involvement and his
- 3:11key role in the nice of Qatar, which of course we are.
- 3:16You know, we finished kind of with the three holy nights.
- 3:19And of course, there are traditions about the 27th holy
- 3:22night as well. But I would encourage everyone
- 3:24to go back and watch that. That episode was filmed, filmed
- 3:26prior to the martyrdom of Said Ali Khamenei, who of course, the
- 3:31Supreme leader, leader of Iran, Damaja Taqlid, who we, you know,
- 3:37we recorded this episode a couple of days before his
- 3:40passing. It has been a heavy moment for,
- 3:44I think, for a lot of Mont Minion.
- 3:46It's been raising alarm bells, I think, for a lot of us.
- 3:50Of course, this was the first day in terms of the attacks on
- 3:56Iran, on Lebanon. And of course, as you mentioned,
- 3:59Gaza continues to be operating as an apartheid state and
- 4:03occupied state. So without trying to get into
- 4:07the politics of things, and these are not politics, in all
- 4:11honesty, these are human lives, human, human rights, but
- 4:15ultimately the world we live in, the society we live in looks at
- 4:18it as a through a political lens.
- 4:20We look at it also through a theological lens.
- 4:22And I think that's what differentiates us as Shia from
- 4:26from others, because we believe that these are signs of the
- 4:29whole, if not directly, then at least indirectly, if not the the
- 4:35kind of necessary signs, then perhaps the rare signs, the non
- 4:39necessary signs or perhaps the the signs which may indicate
- 4:42towards the whole of the Holy Imam.
- 4:44So I think today, hopefully what we can do is talk about this.
- 4:47I want to just quickly give a tribute to all of the lives that
- 4:50we've lost, all of the lives, all of the innocent human lives
- 4:56that have been lost, the blood that has been spilled.
- 5:00We're sick of it, honestly, for thousands of years.
- 5:05Our last panel to Allah has tested the human race through
- 5:09opportunities and also through persecution and punishment.
- 5:12He's given us a step by step chronological build up towards
- 5:16the final tech leaf, which is of course the the rabe, the rabe to
- 5:20cobra. And with each of these steps,
- 5:23we've had messengers, we've had scriptures, we've had kind of
- 5:28indicators towards al Haqq, you know, Dina Las Palota Allah and
- 5:32that now is complete. But we're still seeing history
- 5:38repeat itself. We're seeing young girls bombed
- 5:42and killed. You know, Rasul Allah, Muhammad,
- 5:48he came with a core message. And this was at a point where
- 5:53mankind was at its worst. You know, he came.
- 5:57And of course, we know one of the core things he advocated
- 6:00against was the killing of innocent young girls, the
- 6:06spilling of blood and the burying of young baby girls.
- 6:10And yet today, 1400 years later, we're still seeing this, those
- 6:14people who live in Jahiliya who are attacking, targeting
- 6:18innocent young children. And we've seen this then, and
- 6:23we're continuing to see this today.
- 6:25So I think it just goes to show that these people don't know who
- 6:28we are as Muslims, not just as Muslims, Inshallah as Mutt
- 6:33Mineen, as Muttakin, if we ever reached that stage, that we are
- 6:37those who believe wholeheartedly in that Allah, Allah, Muhammad,
- 6:40Rasul, Allah, Ali and Willi Allah.
- 6:42We believe in the values that Ahlakh, that our Nabi taught us.
- 6:47We are those who are raised upon Willaite and Miramat Manin
- 6:51through his willaire, his Imama, his Khalifa, his Khalafa.
- 6:54All of these things teach us about the values that the Al
- 6:59debate, Alayhi and Salaam taught us.
- 7:01And then of course, it goes without saying, we hear about
- 7:03Imam Hussein. We've been born and brought up
- 7:05wearing black, shedding tears, hitting our chest.
- 7:09And now we prepare for the methi I'd Allah to Allah Sharif.
- 7:13And in the last few weeks, I think now more than ever, people
- 7:16are talking about Imam and Methi.
- 7:17I really believe it. Like I was on Twitter earlier
- 7:19today and I was just seeing random tweets, people from
- 7:22different parts of the world who are calling out for some form of
- 7:26justice. Like people are looking for
- 7:29some, some, some solution, you know, they're looking for some
- 7:33resolve. And this comes back to the point
- 7:36which we know as MO Manin that the world will be filled with
- 7:40oppression. Muslim Muhammad says, he says
- 7:43himself the Mehdi will bring justice and fill the world just
- 7:47as it had been filled with oppression prior.
- 7:49And this is something we understand, right?
- 7:51So I feel like our job now as Shia is to unify that call, to
- 7:57rally that call. So people are calling for it.
- 7:59They see oppression within themselves, the, the, the, the
- 8:03volume they're doing to themselves as well as the volume
- 8:05around them and they're calling for this.
- 8:07So I feel like it's, it's really important for me personally,
- 8:10this month, I've really connected with our weight to
- 8:12demand. I've tried to, I think I can
- 8:14always do more. I believe I should do more.
- 8:16And I feel like our community is also working more towards that
- 8:20and Sharp Law. That's very beautiful, man.
- 8:21Thank you for mentioning that because only just like on self
- 8:26reflection, just to even say if we are preparing the ground for
- 8:29the return of our awaited saviour Imam and Matthew Allah
- 8:32hasten his reappearance. It's not just what we see in
- 8:37front of us. This wasn't right.
- 8:38And if, for example, we, we can be calling for the hastening of
- 8:41the reappearance, but our heart, bro, our heart can be full of, I
- 8:46don't know. So I don't want to use the wrong
- 8:47words, but we may be oppressing people ourselves.
- 8:50And here we are calling out oppression that's happening
- 8:52around the world, but maybe we're oppressing our own
- 8:54families, our own. Said we may even be of the
- 8:57pressing our own selves Lemton FC, you understand like this is
- 9:01one of the biggest things. I was sorry to interrupt you
- 9:03have you. I was speaking to a friend of
- 9:04mine a couple of days ago. It's part and he was saying, but
- 9:08we are not going through the same oppressions that our
- 9:10brothers and sisters are. And of course I agree with this.
- 9:13You know, it's quite obvious, you know what they're going
- 9:15through. We have comfort, you know, we
- 9:17have shoes, we have clothes, we have roofs, we have food is
- 9:20there's no question of it. However, I feel like there is
- 9:24still an oppression. Allah has tested everyone,
- 9:26right? And the test we have for
- 9:27ourselves is, is the oppression we do to ourselves and we don't
- 9:32kind of recognise it. We don't even have knowledge and
- 9:34understanding as to what oppression I'm doing to upon
- 9:37myself. Yeah.
- 9:38So I agree with you. Yeah, for sure.
- 9:40La Habiba sense. That's why I said it's a
- 9:43beautiful reminder, because it's a reflection.
- 9:44As you were saying it, I was thinking about it as well.
- 9:47But just on the point of you mentioned people are, you know,
- 9:49speaking about Imam and Mehdi on a global level now.
- 9:51Yeah. And I see online is just like
- 9:53who is this Mehdi? Yeah, yeah.
- 9:56Who is Imam and Mehdi? Is it just for Shia?
- 9:59The all Muslims believe in the Imam and things like that.
- 10:02So there's, there's, I think, beautiful conversations
- 10:04happening online where people are not speaking about the imam
- 10:08like they previously used to, where they mock him, rather they
- 10:11want to understand him. And that's, that's the beautiful
- 10:13difference that's happening today.
- 10:15And just just to mention something as well as that you
- 10:18mentioned, for example, the the lives of the innocent children
- 10:22that unfortunately and sadly horrifically have been affected
- 10:27by this recent war. Is that just on this matter of,
- 10:32for example, if I can talk about on the first day when the US
- 10:37Israeli strikes hit Iran, they targeted the school over 160
- 10:45little girls? Yeah, that's what I was
- 10:47preferring. And I have two daughters.
- 10:49Well, that that all my heart, Ahmed, because I start imagining
- 10:54because the following a few hours later, I saw a video of a
- 10:58father going to where the the strike took place.
- 11:04And he was going through the backpack bags of school and he
- 11:07was trying to find like, for example, his daughter's
- 11:10belongings and things. And then he found her bag and he
- 11:12took out a Tasbi, took out her turbi, took out the Quran.
- 11:17Like these are little girls. These are beautiful little the
- 11:21most beautiful. Yeah.
- 11:23And I start thinking, voila, I was like, I do, I do something
- 11:27very similar in the morning. I prepare my girls to go school,
- 11:31I get the backpack ready, I make sure they have the water bottle,
- 11:34I make sure they have their test textbooks.
- 11:36You still have the bag and you assist them to wear it and you
- 11:39send them off to school, right? And who sends their kids to
- 11:42school and don't know if they're going to come back or not?
- 11:46I guess it's something to really reflect on that we are not in
- 11:50that position. And we ask our last soprano,
- 11:52Wata Allah to, you know, alleviate all of this, all of
- 11:55this from all the. Elections they're facing and
- 11:57all, of all of the crises they're facing and yet they, a
- 12:01lot of the motminin, I say all of the Motminin, you know, they,
- 12:04they're still showing Yafiq and they're still showing complete
- 12:08yakin. They have conviction, conviction
- 12:11in the promise of Allah. You know, this is Mihad, this is
- 12:14Allah's promise that there will be justice and it's coming.
- 12:18You know, sooner or later we know that this is coming.
- 12:21And I think this is what I want to talk about.
- 12:22Before we go any further, I want to shout out the awaited1.org.
- 12:26A close friend of ours made this website a few a couple of weeks
- 12:28ago. Amazing.
- 12:29Like I was mind blowing the design, the sort of user
- 12:33functionality of it, the user experience of it's amazing.
- 12:36So check out guys, the awaiter1.org, not even a
- 12:39sponsor, just a shout out, like incredible work.
- 12:42You can learn a lot about the chronology of the Alamata, the
- 12:44whole signs of the reappearance, the talker art, the letters or
- 12:47Imam Mehdi, the comparative examples of the Messiah and the
- 12:51awaited one in the different Abrahamic religions here, which
- 12:54is so important. And these are things which are
- 12:56bread and butter for us, like it should be caught.
- 12:59For us it has to be caught, otherwise we're slacking.
- 13:02You know, we have Willy Allah right now.
- 13:04We say, oh, we'll, we'll, I, we love will, I will bro, you've
- 13:07got Willy Allah here. How much do we know about Willy
- 13:10Allah at the moment? You know, we grew up hearing
- 13:12stories. I was talking to you before the
- 13:13podcast about the labour that we've seen in previous examples.
- 13:18Imam, Imam Hussain Salawat Ali on the night of Ashura, when he
- 13:23took out the candle, he gave his companions a chance.
- 13:26He said now I'm in labour, I'm here but you can't see me.
- 13:31You can leave, you have free will, you can go and do your
- 13:34thing. I will even accept you as
- 13:36someone who came with me on this journey and you'll still reap
- 13:38the rewards of it. Choose to go if you want.
- 13:41And they remained. We see in the Holy Quran sort of
- 13:44that off while last point Allah talks about Nabi Moussa, Ali,
- 13:48Salam, going to the mountain. And initially Allah spent Allah
- 13:52told him 30 days. And then of course, through
- 13:54Bada, we know extended that to 40 days.
- 13:57But there was a period where the Messenger of Allah was present
- 14:01but not apparent. Yeah, yeah.
- 14:03We've seen many examples of this throughout history.
- 14:06So now we're in that critical point of the Reba.
- 14:09So our responsibility now is to understand what is happening,
- 14:13what's coming, how do I interact with what I have at the moment
- 14:16and how do I prepare for what's due to come.
- 14:19Once we understand the circumstances, we have a formula
- 14:22for how I act individually, then on a family and then on a
- 14:25communal level. I can then look at the global
- 14:27level because it's very easy to say the world.
- 14:30We have to prepare the world of bro, relax first.
- 14:32Our last is not called aren't. You can't change the condition
- 14:35of society until you change yourself.
- 14:36Work on ourselves, work on our families, our children, our
- 14:40spouses, our parents, our siblings, and then work around
- 14:43us. Build infrastructures within our
- 14:45smaller communities, then start to build infrastructures in our
- 14:48wider societies. These are things that are
- 14:50necessary. You want to prepare the grounds
- 14:52for the Imam, work on it. Now.
- 14:54We hear all the time about Shout out Muhammad Ali.
- 14:56Jamar Knight's series on this was amazing.
- 14:59I remember when we filmed it, he talked about the three scenarios
- 15:03in terms of the final, the final occurrences, let's say of
- 15:09Allah's mission and Allah's, Allah's message to mankind.
- 15:13The first scenario being Al Qadir, you know, Qadir home.
- 15:17When Sulaim Hamad declared a Miramar Manin as the Willi, the
- 15:21Willi, so on and so forth, the people had the chance to accept
- 15:25it. We would have lived a great day,
- 15:26you know, we, the world would have been a different society at
- 15:28the moment. What could have been, the people
- 15:30rejected it. Now we're in the second scenario
- 15:33currently, which is Al Qurban, named after Seyde Zainab.
- 15:36When she speaks to Allah about the sacrifice of Mahmoud
- 15:39Hussein, she says please accept this korban that we've given for
- 15:42you. The sacrifice.
- 15:43What could have been is now led to where we are.
- 15:46Should we choose to reject this, where we are now, should we
- 15:50choose to delay where we are now, then that leads to the last
- 15:54scenario, which is called the Last day.
- 15:55And I would advise everyone to go and check out the Jumma
- 15:58Knight series. And that's fantastic.
- 15:59It was really good, but we should not be amongst those
- 16:02people who have the potential to hasten the hasten the whole of
- 16:06the Holy Imam, but instead delay it.
- 16:08Yeah, what a tragedy that would be.
- 16:11Wonder what a tragedy that would be?
- 16:12No, with you're right, you're absolutely right.
- 16:14And yeah, shout out to Muhammad Ali brother Muhammad Ali for his
- 16:17amazing 50 plus episodes on. Oh wow, well gangster.
- 16:20So if he's smashed it, he hasn't seen so much work.
- 16:23On that, please go in, check them out.
- 16:24There's a lot to benefit from. There's a lot we have benefited
- 16:27from and I've used that material here in the in our podcast as
- 16:30well. So that's amazing.
- 16:31You know, a lot of bless him. But just on that part where you
- 16:34said, you know, what benefit is there and all that, I think
- 16:39we're missing the point here. And that is OK.
- 16:41We can know who the Imam is. We can know his signs, we can
- 16:45know what's expected of us. But what if we can't recognise
- 16:49him even though he's here? So that Maratha is not just
- 16:53reading textbooks or opening up literature or learning about the
- 16:57science and everything you know, It goes back to what you said
- 16:59earlier, comes back to preparing ourselves, our Nefs, our, our,
- 17:03you know, our, our, our very connection, our Maratha with the
- 17:06Iman, may Allah hasten his reappearance.
- 17:08And I know it sounds cheesy sometimes, but the other time we
- 17:12had say Ali Khali here, and I've always heard this from the
- 17:15pulpis everything. And he he said this so
- 17:18beautifully and so eloquently when he was like, if you if the
- 17:20imam comes and open up opens up your phone, will he be pleased
- 17:25with what's on your phone? And till now I think about that.
- 17:29You know, it's like your. Tourist because.
- 17:32Your phone is something personal, right?
- 17:34What you do on it, how you interact with it, who you speak
- 17:36with, the content you consume and you are they are all of
- 17:40that. That's so important to of our
- 17:42heart is going to accept the Imam when he's here and we pray
- 17:45every day. We say Allah, Angelou Alik al
- 17:47Faraj. We were just in Majalis the
- 17:50other day where we're we're we were remembering Imam Sahab
- 17:53Zaman and asking a loss of Hannah was Alex Vason's
- 17:56reappearance. But are we ready for that
- 17:58reappearance? That's that's that's the thing.
- 18:00I don't think we think about. No, we don't.
- 18:02We don't. It's we we're just saying it
- 18:04like it's parrots, like a tongue exercise, you know, boar
- 18:08breeding Dua al Faraj and things like that.
- 18:10But what, what is Dua al Faraj? What are we saying when we're
- 18:14saying Allahu akali, walaikal hazan salawat kaalihala ABBA?
- 18:18If you have this, all of these things, do we know what we are
- 18:21saying? Because if we don't, I'm sorry
- 18:23to say, when the Imam is here, we may reject him.
- 18:27Yeah, of course. We may say OK, we know you are
- 18:29Imam and Mehdi, but I'm not ready.
- 18:31Now go back, come back another time and imagine we we find the
- 18:35situation where we say that to our Imam, we say what Hosseini,
- 18:40we say we are Shia, we say we are Murali in a little bit are
- 18:44we loyal to your Amen. Of course, yeah.
- 18:46Are we? And The thing is this, like you
- 18:48said, some of us have fear that the Imam will not be someone we
- 18:53recognise, our real fear. Of course, this is great.
- 18:57You know, it's good to know that I need to recognise my Imam.
- 19:00A bigger fright should be for us that we recognise the Imam and
- 19:03we still reject it. So it is Bakala, our last point.
- 19:06Allah talks about the people at the time of Salah Muhammad.
- 19:08Allah talks about the Jews and the Christians.
- 19:11He talks about how they waited for the scripture, the the
- 19:15mission, the message. The messenger recognized him and
- 19:19still rejected him. And we see in our books of our
- 19:21hadith that the time of the Imam will come.
- 19:24And they, as we've said in the previous podcast, they will see
- 19:26the Imam and they'll say go back with son of Fatima.
- 19:28They recognize the Imam, they still reject him.
- 19:31This should be our great fear. And you mentioned something
- 19:34important, which is knowing the signs, knowing the chronology,
- 19:38all of these things, yes, they're important, but we have
- 19:40to have inner recognition. You know, we have to have in in
- 19:44our hearts. Allah has to put that Iman.
- 19:46We have to search for that Iman, that belief.
- 19:48You know, we always hear, I heard today it was so silly on
- 19:52TikTok. You know, TikTok is like flooded
- 19:54with false methy content, flooded with false methy
- 19:57content. I saw something today.
- 19:59A lady in Leicester came to a. Abu Tamiya thing and she's like
- 20:04I'm the Mehdi, I'm the Mehdi. And then I scroll to the next
- 20:06video. I see the beanie guys.
- 20:07They're saying yeah, this is a client bro relax man.
- 20:10You scroll to the next video, you see a Zakir Naik fit to come
- 20:12on man. Where are the Shia and these
- 20:15things, right? Where is our PR?
- 20:17Where is our publicity of the true message of Imam and Mehdi?
- 20:21OK, but let's let's kind of rewind.
- 20:23I had a friend the other day he said to me and he opened up to
- 20:26me and this was that an iffal he goes to me like Ahmed I he's
- 20:30like 35 May Allah bless him. Great brother, very involved in
- 20:33the community. He goes, I've been brought up
- 20:36called Ani Namazi. That's what he told me.
- 20:38Yeah. So I don't know nothing about
- 20:39him. I don't know any science.
- 20:41I was like, OK, well, the bro, we have to this has to be a
- 20:44focus. Of course it has to be a focus.
- 20:46So let's go through a couple science said let's go through a
- 20:49basic chronology since everyone in the world is talking about
- 20:52it. What are some of the basic
- 20:54science? What will the world look like
- 20:56before the the science of the reappearance?
- 20:59Yeah. And firstly, before we talk
- 21:01about the signs of the reappearance, we have to be in
- 21:04Akhara Zaman and which is the end of times for the Imam to
- 21:09return soya. And the fact that Imam is born,
- 21:12that means we are. We are already in Afghanistan.
- 21:14Zaman So that's that's something I think we have to we have to
- 21:17recognise and believe in and there are many signs prior to
- 21:20that, there's about 5 first being there will be a widespread
- 21:23of global injustice. There will be the rise of the
- 21:28Sufiani. There will be.
- 21:31Help me with this one the chronology.
- 21:34The chronology like the conditions of society, there
- 21:39will be global injustice, turmoil across the world,
- 21:41economic, military, social, spiritual, injustice in All in
- 21:45all forms. Then we have a regional war,
- 21:48which happens in modern day Middle East, of course, as we
- 21:50call it, as well West Asia, right in that region.
- 21:55Then we'll see the rising of two figures.
- 21:58One is Al Yamani, who of course we hear carries the ray of Imami
- 22:03Mehdi. The Yamani comes from Yemen and
- 22:06the Sufiani. The Sufiani of course comes from
- 22:09the region of current modern day Syria or Sham.
- 22:11OK, these are two of the five Hadami signs, the definite signs
- 22:18that if these signs happen, all the necessary signs, if all five
- 22:20of these signs happen, the Imam will reappear.
- 22:23But all 5 do not have to happen for Allah to choose to send the
- 22:26Holy Imam. So these are the 1st 2.
- 22:28The third one is the spilling of the blood of Nephs.
- 22:32Ezekiel. Yeah, the the the, the purified
- 22:34soul in the kind of premises of the Kaaba, he will someone will
- 22:40lose their life. The 4th of course is the Seha,
- 22:44the call which of course we know is in these days of
- 22:47Shaharamaban, you hear 2 calls. You hear one call during the
- 22:50night that call towards Imam and Mehdi and another called after,
- 22:53which is a false call. We talked about this last year
- 22:55with the same Muhammad Bakar. And the 5th sign of the
- 22:59reappearance of the Holy Imam is a hustle beta, the swallowing of
- 23:03the earth, where the army of the Sufyani, who are at that point
- 23:06marching towards Mecca, will be swallowed by the earth.
- 23:09So after that, there's a few more things that happen at that
- 23:13point. Imam al Methi will emerge,
- 23:15emerge. That's key point.
- 23:18Imam Methi's here. He doesn't.
- 23:21He doesn't. What's the word I'm looking for?
- 23:23He doesn't exist at that point. He emerges at that point, the
- 23:26whole of the Imam, he rises. He rises.
- 23:28Yeah, yeah, he's visible. He's there.
- 23:30He's present at the Kaaba with 313 alongside him.
- 23:35These 313 companions will pledge the the allegiance.
- 23:39Then the uprising against tyrants will begin.
- 23:42Imam will rise against the tyrants in the from the East and
- 23:45the West and then begins his global mission of justice and
- 23:49and equity. This is super important.
- 23:51He will fill the world with justice the way injustice was
- 23:54filling the world prior to his emergence.
- 23:57So this is kind of the important things for us to understand
- 24:00just. Just from the point of the Sai
- 24:01you mentioned, I remember I was speaking literally, Ahmed, three
- 24:05or four days ago. Remember we were discussing like
- 24:07recent events of what we're seeing around the world, the war
- 24:10in the Middle East and things like this.
- 24:11Remember, I was selling this individual.
- 24:13Do you know about the Saha? What if you had the Saha?
- 24:15I already know what the Saha has and they were confused or like,
- 24:18what's the Saha? I was confused that they were
- 24:20confused because this is something we should all be aware
- 24:24of, right? And and then he asked me a
- 24:26question. I remember and he was like, So
- 24:28what is the Saha? There's a scream.
- 24:30What is it? Is it like, correct me if I'm
- 24:33wrong, Ahmed, this is, it's more like a call from the sky or we
- 24:38have, I think other interpretations where they
- 24:41allude to it being it could be via technology, It could be, you
- 24:44never know, you get notifications on your phone.
- 24:46It could be via radio, it could be on television.
- 24:49And the beautiful thing about the site has that everyone will
- 24:51understand it in their own language.
- 24:54So no one will be confused and but we just need to be wary of
- 24:58the fake. Player, it says the call from
- 25:00will come from the sky. Yeah, Allahu Alam, whether that
- 25:02means like say Mahabharata said last year, whether that's
- 25:06something quite literally like, you know, calls from Malakut or
- 25:09something we don't know or whether it's something through
- 25:12technology, we don't know. The main thing is we're not, we
- 25:14need to familiarize ourselves, ourselves with what's to come.
- 25:17And then imagine Imam and Mehdi's here, like you said, he
- 25:20checks your phone, he knocks on your door.
- 25:22Do you recognise and not even do you recognise, you recognise and
- 25:25accommodate and, and, and welcome him, whether it's at
- 25:28your home or whether it's in front of you, you, you're,
- 25:30you're going to spend time with our awaiting Imam.
- 25:33Another thing to know is I think for us is that this is something
- 25:37which, you know, I I'm thankful to Arthur Mugabe for like shout
- 25:41out after Mugabe subscribe yeah, yeah finally after 400 episodes
- 25:46shout out after them guys are gangsters.
- 25:48No Hamdullah no one thing like bro books of literature so
- 25:52important so important there's Of course our classical texts
- 25:56are really important in these cases.
- 25:58A lot of our texts focus on key things.
- 26:01OK, and Muhammad Ali's done like some analysis of different
- 26:06literature in in the five part series in Jamaa Knights, but
- 26:09Kitabi Kay Bashek on Armani. I have to chat more Ali for that
- 26:12because he introduced me to that.
- 26:13I loved it bro it's like 460 Hadi if you can I recently.
- 26:17Purchased it at home. Oh really?
- 26:18You can get it online free of charge bro.
- 26:20Read the video. I like the physical puppy.
- 26:22Yeah, it's good. It's good.
- 26:24And Kitabi Kay Bashek Tulsi is good.
- 26:26Kamaluddin, Tamama, Nermashekhar, Sadok.
- 26:29And of course there are chapters.
- 26:30Some of these are books dedicated towards Imam and
- 26:32Mehdi, some have barbs or chapters within it for this, you
- 26:35know Kamala Dean has it, Al Kafi has it, Bahar al Anwar, Allama
- 26:39Majlisi has it. Like there are different
- 26:42elements bits. Familiarisation of the
- 26:44philosophy of Reba needs to be understood.
- 26:47And Speaking of philosophy of Reba again, Shahraman Damani,
- 26:52Muhammad Ali did the show called the philosophies of Reba on the
- 26:54off model channel. Go and watch that guys if you
- 26:57haven't already bro. Next level, We've done so many
- 27:01episodes, I think we need to like create categories and
- 27:04subcategories. We should.
- 27:05Go and look for it in it go and look for it.
- 27:08You'll find something that you like.
- 27:09Yeah, yeah. YouTube search.
- 27:11No, it's important. It's.
- 27:12Important. You know, in addition to all of
- 27:15this, like speaking about the imam and trying to build Maratha
- 27:18and trying to understand the signs and trying to make sense
- 27:22of the world around us, is that we need to know who we are.
- 27:26Like really, I'm I'm so I'm not just talking about ourself and
- 27:28our Nefs, no, our identity, our Shi identity.
- 27:32And we are lucky Al Hamdulillah to be on ulaya that we can
- 27:35understand these things with clarity.
- 27:39And that's the beautiful thing about it.
- 27:40Is that just like I remember, like the other day, you know,
- 27:45Muhammad Hijab he was speaking to, was it a.
- 27:47Sneaky. Was it a?
- 27:48Sneaky. And he was Sneaky was asking him
- 27:51about Imam and Mehdi. And then he was like, yeah,
- 27:53there's like. He was baffled.
- 27:54He's #12 after you know the old from Croatian things like Bob
- 27:58just come to the hell and base like we got it all like like
- 28:01don't go left and right and he come come back to the very
- 28:05people of Allah. Sallallahu alaihi Wali wasallam
- 28:08told us to hold on to what we have.
- 28:10They have all the answers. Ali Ali Ali al Quran will Quran
- 28:17bro the ahlal baits have every single answer for every
- 28:21situation and there's clarity for any confusion.
- 28:24If you don't know where you look for Imam and Mehdi, come to the
- 28:28school of Ahlalbait. Everything is there.
- 28:30You don't know how to worship Allah, to supplicate to Allah,
- 28:33Come to the school of Ahlalba, everything Islam.
- 28:37The keys are with this muscle. Do you?
- 28:39Know what? It's crazy as well.
- 28:40Subhanallah, Shahraman is the perfect time.
- 28:42Yes, there's there's so many other area that I've really,
- 28:47really enjoyed the Shala Mulan because I'm looking at it
- 28:50specifically my my personal goal to Shala Mulan is to connect to
- 28:53the Alwaleima more. And now I'm trying to think of
- 28:55it through that lens. Of course, we know Dua Lifteda
- 28:58has all of this Dua. I had like a lot of them, the
- 29:02mainstream like all of these do. I have.
- 29:07I love that. Yeah.
- 29:07It's beautiful, isn't it? It's beautiful.
- 29:09Alifani version. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 29:11It's the spot. It's the spot.
- 29:13It's the spot hits the spot. When you need it.
- 29:16It hits the spot. Mashallah.
- 29:18It's like having a cold glass of water after a hot day of
- 29:21fasting, for example. It it soothes your soul.
- 29:24And you know, that's something beautiful as well.
- 29:26Yeah. I really think that like having
- 29:32a glass as a believer is when you know you're at peace with
- 29:36what you're hearing or listening to.
- 29:38So for example, when you hear the AAS, the akhameil dua, aftta
- 29:43TA dot AAM ajir, whatever the other ear is, you're listening
- 29:47to whichever saw. Like, in the same way when you
- 29:49read the Quran, you, like, you know, your heart's at peace with
- 29:52what's being said or written. The same thing with these.
- 29:54These are not from ordinary Tom Dex and Harry.
- 29:57Oh, as Wilson Sadek said last week, the average Jawad.
- 30:03It's not from the average Jawad. This is from the, the, the
- 30:06progeny of the prophet of Islam. You know, and even at times like
- 30:12this, you, you read, for example, Dua Ahil Thogur, you
- 30:16know, the DA for the front lines found in Sahifa Sajadiya.
- 30:20Yeah, bro, I read it a couple of nights ago and I locked in when
- 30:24I was reading it. Bro, this is crazy.
- 30:27Do I have to go? There's a really Mashallah like
- 30:30it's very graphic and it's very clear cut what's being asked.
- 30:36There's no ambiguity with it, but there's a do ah for
- 30:39everything, like you've said, everything, you know.
- 30:43So I think it's something for us to ponder on bro.
- 30:45The last few nights for Shahramabaan bro with 3/4
- 30:48through it. 3/4 these last few nights.
- 30:51I think we just need to lock in honestly.
- 30:53No, we do. Spend spend a bit more time on
- 30:55the prayer mat. Be nice to your kids.
- 30:58Lower your gaze. Resist temptation.
- 31:01You know, you know how hard it is sometimes to focus at work.
- 31:05I don't know if you have this as well.
- 31:06So. Yeah, it's.
- 31:08Impossible at times. You know, I don't know.
- 31:10In the last few days I've been very slow at work.
- 31:13Yeah, same. So.
- 31:14I've, I've had more, more opportunities to, to sit down,
- 31:17reflect and focus outside the work a little when it comes to,
- 31:21for example, going over a hadith, trying to understand our
- 31:25spirituality and our marathon things.
- 31:27And the the the most beautiful thing like, like you mentioned
- 31:31the Helen Bates, you know, the do ours and the supplications is
- 31:35I'm trying to do like commentary, self commentary to
- 31:38myself a lot about Dwar Joshen and Kabil, because it's Wallah
- 31:43Al Adin. For those who have not opened,
- 31:45who have not even recited Dwar Joshen.
- 31:48I know there's Mashallah. We have ample of other idea we
- 31:50can do during the nights of other things, but this one in
- 31:53particular for me, it's like, bro, it's, it's just something.
- 31:56It's just me and God. Yeah, yeah.
- 31:58Back when I'm reciting the lines of of the supplication, I'm
- 32:02like, I remember, OK, you know, there's I'll recite a few.
- 32:06I've got some lines here. For example, we say Yahir al
- 32:14Rafarin, yahir al fataheen, Yahir al Nasarin, Yahir al
- 32:18Hakimin like these are reminders of who got this and who we are.
- 32:23We are nothing without a loss upon what's Allah.
- 32:26And the more you read the more you understand.
- 32:28Even like bro, do I come in when you recite, do I'll come in?
- 32:32Yeah. Minaj Imam Ali Ali has to sell.
- 32:35Yourself, compared to a lie, you're nothing.
- 32:37Like you read we are nothing we are nothing one now we are
- 32:42nothing and and when the Ehel Bates speak like this to God, it
- 32:49shows you the difference of who these individuals.
- 32:52Are it puts things into perspective.
- 32:53Puts things into perspectives, it gives you clarity us, and it
- 32:56makes you fall in love with God. Is sometimes you just want to
- 32:58put everything, especially this is the beautiful thing about
- 33:00this month. You want to put everything aside
- 33:04and focus on what matters. You know, like you, you want to
- 33:07help. You want to be just in full
- 33:09servitude to Allah's mission and in mom's mission.
- 33:14And you get that inspiration from these nights.
- 33:17Yeah, man, we're tired 3 / 3 weeks in now.
- 33:20We're tired. Like my brain is foggy at work.
- 33:22I can't think straight. And maybe more temperament, more
- 33:25temperamental. My kids find it harder to focus.
- 33:29But at the same time, it's like, this is the final stretch.
- 33:32Yeah, Allah knows best whether I will be here next year.
- 33:35And if I'm not, please brothers and sisters, forgive me and pray
- 33:38for me and pray for Saeed Ali and forgive us all.
- 33:42But Allah knows whether we'll be here next year.
- 33:45All we can do now is just pray that our Qatar is set for the
- 33:49best possibility we can achieve. You know, last few days man,
- 33:55last few days now it's it's we have this make or break for us.
- 33:58Or is is the last few days and I think we should approach these
- 34:01last few days with sincerity, not just exercise stick box and
- 34:07get through day-to-day supplications and worship.
- 34:10No, like like right, Sorry, you were talking.
- 34:12I was just going over some other lines.
- 34:14Like look at this line. You're a dirty understood that
- 34:18you are Ajayi and the museeberty you are Munisi and the Washati.
- 34:22But these are lines. Well, like bro, like you can be
- 34:26in the worst moment of your life.
- 34:28God will take you out of it. Just turn to him.
- 34:32Well, now just just turn to a last.
- 34:34Atar in daft atar there's a line where, and I don't know the
- 34:39Arabic off the top of my head, where where we ask our last one
- 34:42to other. I'm paraphrasing where we say,
- 34:45Oh, you who has no end like you have eternal abundance, eternal
- 34:50abundance of blessing and and possession.
- 34:53Please give to me because from you giving to me it doesn't give
- 34:57you shortcoming. If anything it proves more of
- 35:00your generosity and your merciful mercifulness.
- 35:03Like when we ask from Allah, we recognise that for Allah to give
- 35:08us does not reduce His stockpiles of mercy and
- 35:12possession. If anything, it further proves
- 35:14that Allah possesses all, creates all, sustains all, and
- 35:19it further proves to us, His slaves on earth that we are, we
- 35:23are worth nothing. We are in complete dependency of
- 35:26the last palm of Da Allah. We are contingent on Him for
- 35:29everything we have in this day and age.
- 35:32So we can only understand this mindset for like you're saying,
- 35:35from these to us. So you know, it's, it's
- 35:37beautiful man, it really is beautiful.
- 35:39These are the values we have to teach ourselves and our
- 35:41children. Our children.
- 35:42Honestly, ourselves and our children like how to thank, who
- 35:46to thank, what to thank and you know, just recognition that
- 35:50everything comes from Allah and to Allah everything will return.
- 35:53This is how it is whether we're talking about whether we're
- 35:56talking about our scholars who have lost their lives for the
- 35:59cause of Allah span to Allah who have given their blood.
- 36:02You know, we read in sort of like Sheikh Ibrahim mentioned a
- 36:05couple of days ago about giving your hopeful jewel or Nassim and
- 36:10Amwal or enforced him or Samarat or Bashar or Sabarin.
- 36:14Like everything we give in the cause of our last plan to Allah,
- 36:18but everything is for Allah and to Allah we come from and we
- 36:21will return. So it's just this it's a mindset
- 36:24shift. Yeah, we have to make bro stop
- 36:26thinking about your TikTok likes and what font you use on your
- 36:29stories and you know how many views you get and your WhatsApp
- 36:32DP, like I've gone in this thing said say tell the minute, tell
- 36:35the minute. The sun behind the clouds.
- 36:37The sun behind, the trees behind.
- 36:39The tree I change, Why they keep changing?
- 36:41Your No, no, I changed my display picture once earlier
- 36:44this month. Yeah, it's always been the same,
- 36:45more or less the same picture. Yeah.
- 36:47And what's up? I changed my display picture
- 36:49because I'm like, I don't want to.
- 36:50I don't want to feel vain. I have this tendency, bro.
- 36:52I was extremely vain and perhaps I still amped a degree, but as a
- 36:57young guy, we grew up in a BBM age, Facebook age.
- 37:00You know Bro I. Would change my BBM picture
- 37:03every day but. Good on my.
- 37:04Face yeah, my Facebook picture. Honestly, I was extremely
- 37:09self-conscious and. And I had nothing to be vain
- 37:13about, but I was conscious, right.
- 37:16And the other day I was like, you know what?
- 37:17I have so many friends there. What's that picture?
- 37:19So I just rambled, take a picture of the floor.
- 37:21They'll put us there. What's that picture?
- 37:23And I was thinking what? How, why?
- 37:25And these guys will have their picture the same for years.
- 37:27You know, I had a friend of mine, so funny.
- 37:30Shout out, my brother Sajjad. Sajad, one of my friends.
- 37:33Yeah. In 2020 he travelled and he was
- 37:38going through Heathrow Airport and the queues were all empty
- 37:41because of COVID, right? So they said arrivals and it's
- 37:46completely empty. It's like 10 rows.
- 37:48The guy took a picture of all of these rows empty, and he put it
- 37:52as his WhatsApp picture. And it was beat his WhatsApp
- 37:55picture for four years. Like, imagine in 2024, you're
- 38:00looking at this picture. Like, what is this?
- 38:02He's like, yeah, I don't care. Like, I don't care about my face
- 38:04being there or something. Like, wow.
- 38:06So I recently did this thing where I found a picture of a
- 38:08tree and I put it as my WhatsApp picture.
- 38:11And these guys are rinsing me like I'm gonna change it.
- 38:13We're not used to it. But yeah, yeah, a lot of good
- 38:16talking about WhatsApp. I don't think I've changed my
- 38:19profile picture since. I like your WhatsApp picture.
- 38:212020 when was COVID? It was after that said. 20.
- 38:28Yeah, 2020 was COVID 2020, yeah. No, but you've changed it after,
- 38:31I thought. No, no, because I was one of
- 38:34the. I can imagine it like your
- 38:36blazer, your distascia, the one kafir, the member.
- 38:40Showed me one of the eulogy is always doing.
- 38:43I was I done for Muharram and I made it my DP and estate ever
- 38:48since so 2026 now. Bro, check out said I need
- 38:52another YouTube channel. Yeah, and look at the picture
- 38:55there. You're you're wearing your suit.
- 38:56You probably were 18. Probably the same one.
- 38:58Same picture from there bro. Probably take it in 2008 and
- 39:01you've left it there. Yeah, so I I did change my
- 39:04Instagram display picture about a month ago.
- 39:06Yeah, that was nice. And and I, and I as well, I
- 39:09think that one as well was during COVID.
- 39:11I had one during COVID as well. It's been years.
- 39:13I don't even know. But yeah.
- 39:15Anyhow, I don't know why I mentioned that, but yeah, the
- 39:18good old days, actually. It's a man though.
- 39:20You know why? I think COVID like grounded us.
- 39:24Yeah. Bring us into reality.
- 39:25What a throwback. We had a lot of time.
- 39:27We wish you. Had podcast during COVID.
- 39:29I think we would have smashed. It yeah, it would have been
- 39:32sick. I had so much free time.
- 39:34Would have been sick. We would have filmed the podcast
- 39:36today 6 meters apart 2. Point O Oh yeah Social 6. 6
- 39:42Meters Apart podcast. You know what's crazy?
- 39:46Like COVID, It's been what, 5-6 years now?
- 39:49That's how fast time flies. When I talk about it, it's like
- 39:52yesterday. But now thinking about it, it's
- 39:54been years. And that's a lot of time, you
- 39:58know, shaved from our lifespan, how we're spending our lives.
- 40:02You know, a friend of mine was telling me he was like, in
- 40:06COVID, my son was 4 turning 5, and my daughter was 3.
- 40:11And now the daughter just now started wearing hijab like a
- 40:14couple of weeks ago. And the son is 1011 years old
- 40:18now. Yeah.
- 40:18Or whatever, 10 years old or something.
- 40:21And I saw them. Yes.
- 40:23They may not protect them. The most amazing kids.
- 40:25Yeah. And I'm thinking, wow, my
- 40:27children are those ages now. And that felt like yesterday
- 40:31COVID. So before I know it, Charla,
- 40:34they're going to be grown. Time, time flies, time flies.
- 40:40Children have to make the most of it.
- 40:41Our children, our parents, may Allah bless and protect them,
- 40:44preserve them for us. You know, like This is why I say
- 40:47Shahramavan, you never know who comes and goes, you know, and
- 40:51forget even in Ramadan, but throughout the year, these
- 40:54Knights of Qdo, these are the last 10 hours.
- 40:56Shahramavan are the Knights of of destiny, you know.
- 41:00So pray because you never know, right?
- 41:03People who will inevitably leave.
- 41:05Our friends, our community members, our family members.
- 41:09If this has been their last Shahramadhan, then pray.
- 41:12Our hijats should be that it's accepted for them or for us.
- 41:15If it's ours, there will be people we know who don't make it
- 41:20to next year. You know a matter of fact, this
- 41:23is their last Shahramadhan. You might see them in the mosque
- 41:25for the last time. You never know.
- 41:27Allahu Alam, it's it's very emotional.
- 41:30It's really, really emotional. I always think back about
- 41:32certain model Khomein friends, parents of my friends who I
- 41:37remember growing up and seeing them in the mosque in the same
- 41:40place every Shahramadhan. And then, you know, you life
- 41:43moves on. But, you know, these people are
- 41:47like, you know, we can't let their legacy leave nothing.
- 41:50You know, we have to keep their legacy.
- 41:51Ask you a question. Yeah.
- 41:52Go on. May Allah firstly prolong your
- 41:54life. Thank you.
- 41:57Allow your children to see, you know, live a long time with you
- 42:00and shut Allah. But if you were to die, Ahmed,
- 42:04if you were to die, let's say, God forbid, tomorrow, tomorrow,
- 42:11what do you think you left behind?
- 42:14I don't know. It's a mad question, isn't?
- 42:17It, yeah, I don't know. I don't know.
- 42:20The thing is that when it comes to being remembered.
- 42:23Sorry, I'll probably ask you another.
- 42:24Question No, no, because we think that we should think about
- 42:26this a lot, right? And I'm sure you do as well.
- 42:29You just want to be remembered. You don't want to be remembered
- 42:32for your like for me, I wouldn't want to be remembered for the
- 42:35podcast in terms of its growth, if I'm honest, it's nice, for
- 42:39example, if it's benefited people handed lot, you know,
- 42:42it's rich people and so on. But at the end of the day, it's
- 42:45me and my brother speaking, sharing our thoughts, our
- 42:47feelings with amazing guests. I'm more concerned about my my
- 42:53family, my lineage. You know, Allah has entrusted me
- 42:56to continue a line of what meaning have I done enough to
- 43:00keep that line going for my children to hold onto a liar and
- 43:04for them to give it to their children and so on.
- 43:06Inshallah. That's the main thing.
- 43:08I always say I come, you come from Mashallah, the line of
- 43:10prophet is I come from a line of reverse.
- 43:14You know our community come from a line of reverse.
- 43:18Why you shy say we're? All from.
- 43:21We're all son of a prophet eventually.
- 43:23Yeah. No.
- 43:24But you know what I mean. In it like you're, you're, you
- 43:26know. So for me, it's.
- 43:28I think about that a lot, man. I hope.
- 43:31Yeah, I hope I've done people proud.
- 43:33How about you? Are you asking me that same
- 43:36question? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:40And if I were to die tomorrow? If I were to die tomorrow and if
- 43:49I, if I, if I think about it, if there's anything that I will
- 43:51leave behind, I think it's for something very similar to our
- 43:53children. Why have we taught them?
- 43:56Why have we raised them upon what?
- 43:58What good have we showed them in this world?
- 44:01You know, did we allow them to understand Allah the way he's
- 44:06supposed to be worshipped? Spano wata Allah did, we did,
- 44:09did, did I teach my children about Imam and Mehdi?
- 44:13Did I prepare them for Imam and Mehdi like these?
- 44:15These are things I need to think about now.
- 44:17Seriously. I yeah, man, yeah, man.
- 44:20These are, these are powerful nice.
- 44:21These are powerful nice. These are the nice to plan and
- 44:23to prepare. But just by just aside to all of
- 44:27those which, which are critical things, I, I, and I think
- 44:31something that goes side by side with all of this is that how are
- 44:34we with our, our family? How are we with you know, have
- 44:38have we taken away people's rights?
- 44:42Have we oppressed anyone? Do we need to seek forgiveness
- 44:44from anybody? Like these are things we need to
- 44:47really think about man Islam upon It's all about forgiveness.
- 44:49If we've if we've upset anyone, let anyone down, hurt anyone.
- 44:54Tell Giba about someone What? Listen to Giba about some
- 44:57Whoever is, we should go seek forgiveness.
- 44:59Of course, serious, of course. It's just, it's just frightening
- 45:02when you realise like maybe how many times you've done it and
- 45:05not even remembered, you remember probably a drop in the
- 45:08ocean of how much a favor you've engaged in or heard or how many
- 45:12times you've done something wrong and forgotten.
- 45:15And there's been times where I go into that mode and I think
- 45:17about it and I get really, I become like, I crawl into
- 45:21myself, you know, I mean, I feel very small and I'm like, what do
- 45:26I even do? So and then in those cases, your
- 45:27self esteem becomes so small, you know, you feel worthless.
- 45:32And I know we're taught the mentality we're taught is not to
- 45:34feel like that return to Allah. Allah is your refuge.
- 45:37Allah will will shelter you, you'll protect, you'll conceal
- 45:40your sins and it's he who forgives you.
- 45:43And of course there's hack that the people have hook over you
- 45:46like in the sense of they have to have a you know, they have
- 45:49the right to forgive you or not and so on.
- 45:51But it does. It hits.
- 45:53It hits you hard when you think about it.
- 45:56You know why? Because like, I don't know how
- 45:59far we are on the when the conversation on terms of the
- 46:01duration of the episode. That's like I remember now
- 46:04thinking of God, I hope no one abuse abuses their wives or
- 46:07something. Yeah, I remember thinking if
- 46:10let's say someone is the worst of the worst, but he fully
- 46:14repents and everything, right? Allah span of wata Allah shala
- 46:17forgives him and everything. And this was a very prominent
- 46:20scholar. He was referencing this.
- 46:21He was like, this was Sedhadi Madarasi by the way, and he was
- 46:25talking about Rahman, forgiveness of Allah, span of
- 46:27Wata Allah. He was saying like Allah can
- 46:29forgive everything, but if you oppress someone, that person
- 46:34needs to forgive you to the extent where he said that if you
- 46:37extend your hand on your wife, God forbid.
- 46:42I, I really hope we don't have men in our communities to do
- 46:45this. If you extend your hand on your
- 46:47wife, yeah, yeah. On the day of judgement for
- 46:50Allah it gives you is going to enter you paradise Inshallah.
- 46:53He's going to 1st put your hands in the Hellfire for what you've
- 46:57done to your wife. Then Inshallah I'll take you to
- 47:00paradise. But you will feel the the
- 47:04repercussions, the actions of what you've done.
- 47:06Basically you'll be held accountable to it.
- 47:08So seek forgiveness. It's just, I don't know, it just
- 47:11came to my mind right now. I'm just trying to think.
- 47:13But there are certain things where we can.
- 47:14There's so many things we can wrong people.
- 47:16And there's things where. And we've wronged Allah.
- 47:18We seek forgiveness for what we've done.
- 47:20But if we've wronged individuals and they haven't forgiven us or
- 47:23we haven't seeked their forgiveness, that's a problem.
- 47:26And there's things where, like I said, where earlier when we
- 47:28talked about wronging yourself, the oppression on yourself,
- 47:32that's what I mean, like you've, you've done something.
- 47:34And we believe and we talked about again with Sheikh Ibrahim
- 47:39that you are not what minion can return to their prior essence.
- 47:43You know, even if they've done a grave sin, there's a minority
- 47:46opinion that you can't, for example, you do a grave sin, you
- 47:48can never be the same person again.
- 47:50We believe theologically you can, you can become the same.
- 47:52Allah is all forgiving, all merciful.
- 47:55There's never a door which Allah will not open for you should you
- 47:58seek it. However, saying that, it's also
- 48:02about being able to do psychological rehabilitation on
- 48:04yourself, right? So for example, there's cases
- 48:08where you don't need to seek forgiveness from a person.
- 48:11Let's say you're on social media, you're consuming content
- 48:15which is illicit or you are wasting time, or you're reading
- 48:21gossip online. You know how sometimes every few
- 48:23weeks these scandals pop up about something that happened or
- 48:28a public, public thing which has happened and you engage in it,
- 48:31you feed it, you like it, you share it, and you can't go and
- 48:34seek forgiveness for that. Do you see what I mean?
- 48:37However, in those cases, it's about recognition.
- 48:40At the bare minimum. I shouldn't have said that I
- 48:42shouldn't have fanned the flames of this case or I shouldn't have
- 48:46engaged in this content or I did something which I shouldn't have
- 48:48done. I said or committed or or viewed
- 48:51or listened to something I shouldn't have.
- 48:53And in those cases, the biggest, the biggest violin is yourself.
- 48:59And you need to not just recognize that you've wronged
- 49:03yourself, you also need to forgive yourself because when
- 49:06you've wronged yourself, you can't ask forgiveness of someone
- 49:08else. You ask that you seek
- 49:09forgiveness from yourself so that Ahmed I forgive you on the
- 49:12condition that you don't do this again and seek forgiveness from
- 49:16Allah ultimately. And you ask Allah for the
- 49:18opportunity to allow you to seek not just forgiveness, but also
- 49:23the strength to rehabilitate and you know, to, to not fall back
- 49:27into these sins. This is so important.
- 49:29You know, what are we here for, man?
- 49:31Allah can take our lives like that.
- 49:33You know, when I was listening to, I was listening to something
- 49:36recently about Allah's will, bada and in again.
- 49:44So Allah talks about omali kitab and he talks about Allah being
- 49:48able to confirm something or to remove something according to
- 49:52his will. And this is one of our proofs in
- 49:55our school of thought about Allah's will and bada.
- 49:58I thought about it. I was like Subhanallah, So if
- 50:01Allah elongated the labour of of Nabi Musa Ali Salaam by 10 days,
- 50:06in those ten days whatever happened, good or bad was the
- 50:10reaction or the consequences of what happened in the 30 days.
- 50:13You understand, from day 31 to 40, whatever have has happened
- 50:17in the absence, the apparent absence of the Nabi at that time
- 50:22was because from zero to 30, someone did something or the
- 50:25community did something, so that in those ten days you're
- 50:29basically it's your fault. Yeah.
- 50:31If good or bad happens, that's on you, right?
- 50:34In the same way, if we, for example, elongate the Raba, this
- 50:38is going to sound crazy. We elongate the Raba children
- 50:41that are born in that time or whatever lives that are lost in
- 50:44that time. We're just MPC's in, in the eyes
- 50:47of God, literally speaking, right?
- 50:49We're we're literally people roaming on this earth.
- 50:51We think we are conscious and emotionally, Yeah, we do.
- 50:54Of course. What I'm trying to say is, is
- 50:55that we might be doing a dam damage to our future generations
- 51:01by wronging ourselves and the people around us today.
- 51:04So that people tomorrow not just are born into this world where
- 51:08there is oppression, they may end up doing oppression on
- 51:11themselves because of the oppression we've done on
- 51:13ourselves today. Does that make sense?
- 51:15So my point being is ultimately, we don't want to be not just
- 51:19that fault for wronging ourselves, no wronging the
- 51:21people around us, but for wronging those who aren't even
- 51:24here yet. They are born into a society
- 51:27where crime is is, you know, present and immorality and all
- 51:31of these kind of things. Vices are so apparent and
- 51:34obvious. And that is a result of our
- 51:37collective inaction today. Do you get me?
- 51:41So I feel like it's just something we need to ponder
- 51:43upon. Sometimes this these small
- 51:45Nuggets of reflection end up being worth more than 70 years
- 51:49of worship. Honestly, like just realizing
- 51:51these small things, it's so valuable to us, bro, because you
- 51:55know, we've got a big, big duty. Well, I can take you like that.
- 51:58Like it means nothing to him. No sense.
- 52:01There is definitely a duty and a collective responsibility what
- 52:04we do now. Scraped off work.
- 52:06Will affect the future in our community and our children, our
- 52:09future generation. So inshallah we we make do with
- 52:14what lost panel what's our expects?
- 52:16Of us in the show, I mean. That's the final point for me
- 52:20just on this whole children, because we mentioned children
- 52:23numerous times and just in regards to what we, what we've
- 52:28been seeing around the world recently, especially over the
- 52:31last few years when it comes to like the Middle East, Iran and
- 52:36all of this. I remember my daughter Haneen
- 52:41she she asked me a question and I was like, she asked me a
- 52:49question, but basically she said what's happening?
- 52:51Who's who's, who's at war with Iran Nirmba.
- 52:54I was thinking to myself, OK, how do I answer it?
- 52:57How do I explain this to her? How do I say it in a way where
- 53:01she understands which is age appropriate to her and things
- 53:05like that. I was like, you know what,
- 53:06hopefully even get why am I going to even try and muddy the
- 53:09waters or even confuse her? I said that as is because at
- 53:13that moment I told myself if I don't tell her, how can this she
- 53:18May, God forbid, grow up and mix hack with falsehoods and I and.
- 53:24That's on us. And and that's my fault.
- 53:26I'm bringing this, I'm bringing this point up because of what
- 53:29you just said previously, right? So I remember I told her XYZ
- 53:34this happening and we have one side who you know is, is on the
- 53:39Shalom of the path of Haq, on the path of ulaya, on the path
- 53:42of all of this. And we have enemies of Allah.
- 53:44We have people who want to destroy the faith, people who
- 53:47want to mock our religion, people who want to bring us
- 53:49down, bring Muslims down and things like that.
- 53:52So I saw through, I used this as an opportunity to explain Hakan
- 53:56battle to her. And then that reminded me of
- 54:00like, even if we feel like we're going through so many things, we
- 54:04see so many things that are Shia, we never waver with hack
- 54:10ever, never, never, ever. And it's important we always
- 54:13call it out. It's always important we
- 54:15recognize the falsehood when people claim to be on hack.
- 54:18And if we look at, for example, one example, I know I'm going on
- 54:23too long here. One example, if we use the
- 54:25United States of America, for example, what what are they
- 54:28champion? What they're saying right now
- 54:30we're trying to get rid of X, trying to do Y for the better of
- 54:34the world. No, we're you're destroying the
- 54:36world. And they they use, Yeah, I've
- 54:42gone on too much, haven't I? I've been told it's the end of
- 54:44the episode. Be careful says be careful.
- 54:48No, I, I agree. I know where you're coming from
- 54:50and I agree with what you're saying.
- 54:52You know, we have to be mindful of as especially what we teach
- 54:54our children. And for our listeners, a lot of
- 54:57us who don't have children first, you may allow grant your
- 54:59children if you're up, if you're ready and you're, you have the
- 55:01opportunity, you're married and you're awaiting children may
- 55:04allow give you that butter car. It's difficult, but in Charlotte
- 55:06when the time comes, it will be worth it.
- 55:08And for those who are not there yet and Charlotte may allow
- 55:10grant that that that lahma to you.
- 55:13And I think a final thing from from me is look like you said at
- 55:19the beginning so eloquently adore for all those who are
- 55:22oppressed, all the Muslim mean around the world, all those who
- 55:24are suffering, all of those mothers and fathers who have
- 55:28lost children, children who have lost mothers and fathers, all
- 55:31our ulama, all our mushdahidin. May Allah protect them, preserve
- 55:35them and those who've given their lives in the cause.
- 55:37May Allah elevate their station and shut Allah.
- 55:40And finally, may Allah grant victory to the Mutt Minin and
- 55:43grant US a hastened reappearance for the awaited Imam Ajalallahu
- 55:47to Alef al Sharif. So when he comes, we pray not
- 55:49just to recognize him, to have manifold of him, but also to be
- 55:52wanted to be alongside him, by him.
- 55:54We want him to want us there. We want him to want us to be
- 55:57present, to call for him to rally for him to represent him,
- 56:01to be ambassadors, for him to be people who have the name of our
- 56:05Imam in our hearts and on our flags so that when we disperse
- 56:09across the walls, we are carrying his vision visibly and
- 56:13as well with our tongues and in our hearts.
- 56:15And if we can do this, we can represent the Imam in every
- 56:18single way possible. Then Inshallah we have achieved
- 56:20what Allah has given us. But on what that will debate,
- 56:23these are the two things which we have to champion and and
- 56:26advocate for today such that the mission the to cleave of Allah
- 56:30can be achieved. And in sha Allah, if we can do
- 56:33that, we have surely succeeded. Well, sisters, thank you so
- 56:42much. We're going to be back next week
- 56:44in sha Allah for the final podcast.
- 56:46In sha Allah, we have an amazing guest.
- 56:49I I want to also say we did have a special guest who's due to be
- 56:54on this podcast. Unfortunately, he's been stuck
- 56:56in Najaf Sheikh, who means a lot to us.
- 56:59And then Charlotte, I don't want to say his name, but I do want
- 57:01to say that hopefully he'll be back in the UK and when we see
- 57:05him, they all protect him and all the money in in the region.
- 57:08But we hope to have them have them here soon so you guys can
- 57:12benefit. And of course us ourselves next
- 57:15week we'll a big, big, big discussion coming with someone
- 57:19who we we've been waiting for, for a long time.
- 57:21And Charlotte, that works out. We're looking forward to
- 57:23recording it. But yeah, guys, keep supporting
- 57:26the podcast, keep sharing your feedback, suggestions, make sure
- 57:29you become a partner and support our work.
- 57:31And we have a lot of plans and share Allah and forgive us as
- 57:35well on these holy nights. Yeah.
