- 0:34SPEAKER_00: That's your birthday, buddy.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: What a great birthday buddy! Because we sang the birthday song a couple minutes ago to somebody.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: Who was it?
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, here it is.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: We sang it to um 8456.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: So Tom Hanks is your birthday buddy, too.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: So you know something funny about Tom Hanks?
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: What?
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: You could have played any clip from Tom Hanks.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: Most current one would have been from Toy Story 5.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: You don't have to really know.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: But the funny part about it is everybody gravitates to a Tom Hanks era.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Ah, yes, that's my era.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: You go to, you know, a movie and era.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: So you went to um A League of Their Own.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: Which also is the same time that Joe versus the Volcano came out.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty sure it is, yes.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: So there was that era.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Because I've never watched that.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Wasn't he also on Bosom Buddies?
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: No, was it Bosom Buddies or Trading Place?
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Mork and Mindy?
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Uh no, it wasn't Mork and Mindy.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: What was his sitcom back in the Family Ties.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: No! I'm just kidding.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: I knew it wasn't.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: I just wanted to.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: I gotta remember the name of it.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: I think it was Bosom Buddies.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Is that what you think of?
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Tom Hanks.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Well, there are people uh that are gonna think that.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: Uh uh Oh God.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: Bosom Buddies, yes.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, with Bosom Buddies.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: 80 to 82.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, so there's there's that era of Tom Hanks.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: Then he went to the movie side.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Then you're gonna get the people that are gonna be Sleepless in Seattle and Forrest Gump.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, Forrest Gump, hands down.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: And then you're gonna get the people that move further along Toy Story.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Now, keep in mind, he did some big dramas.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: He did a big drama about the Cold War and uh right after World War II, uh the bridge movie.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I can't remember the name of it.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: I didn't see that one.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: I uh the one It was a good movie, by the way.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Sully was another drama one.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Sully.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Remember, he was the pilot that landed the plane uh in the Hudson.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Then he also did one called A Man Name Otto, where he wasn't mad.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: Oh, it was so good.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: He wasn't, I wouldn't I don't want to say like super crotchety, but he was a very cold neighbor.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, like me.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Uh is that you?
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: That doesn't seem like you.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that doesn't seem like I assume you're the guy who's like, hey, I want some brisket, I got some brisket over here.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Come on in, pull pork tomorrow!
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: Uh but the the now, funny enough though, is it we all, when it comes to Tom Hanks, jump to a Tom Hanks place.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: That is true.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: In a timeline.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: And uh and you just did it.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: You proved it.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Because the timely thing to do, like I'm schooling you, the timely thing to do would have been pull a Toy Story 5 clip.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: I know, but that's what I'm gonna do.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: But you wanted to hear what you remembered, and that's cool.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Which is the best.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: There's no crying in baseball! By the way, I love Tom Hanks, his flip outs.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: There's something about his flip-outs that you almost want to laugh at.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: Like he's yelling, but at the same time, he's so animated with it.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: You're just let me just give you another clip.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: This little one more time.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: One more time.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: Say, Evelyn, can I ask you a question?
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: You got a moment?
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: He starts calm.
- 3:23SPEAKER_02: Which team do you play for?
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Well, I I'm a peak.
- 3:28SPEAKER_02: Well, I was just wondering, because I couldn't figure out why you would throw home when we've got a two-run lead.
- 3:34SPEAKER_02: You let the timing run get on second, and we lost the lead because of you!
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Which, by the way, he does in Toy Story as well.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because whenever Winnie gets like real animated, it's like, well, why'd you let the toys get out of the toy box?
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: What was the other birthday you had said if you if you have a birthday today?
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay, this one, not as exciting, but if you have a birthday today, this is also your birthday, buddy.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Don't want to hear about it.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Which is the song that plays every single baseball game playing.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, a lot of sporting events.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: It is the walkout song for everyone.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: It sings uh Jack White from the White Stripes.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: I heard I heard that song, I think, 19 times when we were at the Binghamton Rumble ponies.
