- 1:44Speaker 1: this hour. Today, March fourth is World Obesity Day.
- 1:50Speaker 5: Finally a day for us.
- 1:51Speaker 7: Yeah, I celebrate privately.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Hey yeah, all right, here's one for Sea Bass. It
- 1:58Speaker 1: is Global Day of the Enginey here.
- 2:01Speaker 8: Yeah, pretty much every dingy is. I mean, literally everything
- 2:05Speaker 8: we do is engineered, engineered.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm saying, like you you consider yourself still to be
- 2:09Speaker 1: an engineer. You know, you don't do it professionally like
- 2:11Speaker 1: he graduated with a degree in chemical engineering.
- 2:14Speaker 8: Our social engineering now, but yes, what you're saying, we
- 2:17Speaker 8: don't really need it our own day. We just selflessly
- 2:19Speaker 8: continue to make the world.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Fine, all right, here's a here you go, Samyay's International
- 2:24Speaker 1: scrap Booking Industry Day. She seems like you've never talked
- 2:29Speaker 1: about scrap booking that. She seems like a person who
- 2:32Speaker 1: would be way.
- 2:34Speaker 7: Growing up.
- 2:35Speaker 9: Oh my gosh, I had all the scissors that gave
- 2:37Speaker 9: different trims on everything.
- 2:39Speaker 6: So fun.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I don't first of all trim you know.
- 2:44Speaker 9: In the scrap book pictures, pictures and stuff, and then
- 2:48Speaker 9: you know you so little.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Photo album is different because yeah, because then you get
- 2:53Speaker 1: you get all the other stuff like you would put
- 2:55Speaker 1: in like say he went on his paper, he went
- 2:57Speaker 1: on a trip, like souvenirs, trinkets. Yeah, maybe like your hotel,
- 3:02Speaker 1: your hotel room key.
- 3:07Speaker 10: You still have any episode not fun, but I still
- 3:12Speaker 10: have one.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Greg. Today is a National Grammar Day like that, you'd
- 3:17Speaker 1: appreciate that every day. Let's see for minutes, it's a
- 3:21Speaker 1: brain injury awareness day.
- 3:23Speaker 11: Been aware, Yeah, I've been being aware.
- 3:26Speaker 10: Yeah, I've you know, seen stars. I didn't think that
- 3:29Speaker 10: was real. I thought that was a cartoon thing.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Yeah, but I mean you crack your head open a
- 3:33Speaker 5: number of times, yeah.
- 3:34Speaker 10: Number of times. This one time I was skateboarding on
- 3:37Speaker 10: this it's called a spine ramp where it's like two
- 3:39Speaker 10: half pikes, half pipes that go together and then at
- 3:42Speaker 10: the top you're supposed to go over the top into
- 3:44Speaker 10: the other half pipe. And all I know is I
- 3:48Speaker 10: was laying on the ground. I saw stars.
- 3:50Speaker 11: Have you ever seen stars? When you bend them. Let's
- 3:54Speaker 11: say you're like drop something, you lean reached down.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Because it depends how big, and then all of a
- 3:59Speaker 1: sudden it's.
- 4:00Speaker 7: A dry pressure thing. I think, Yeah, you're gonna die.
- 4:03Speaker 10: Crass, actual flashes of light stars.
- 4:06Speaker 11: Shimmering stars for like a good thirty second. My experiences,
- 4:11Speaker 11: I like, actually hit my head.
- 4:16Speaker 1: But what happened when you were bent over? Was that
- 4:18Speaker 1: what made you see stars? No?
- 4:19Speaker 11: No, no, Like if I dropped something and reach down
- 4:22Speaker 11: pick it up.
- 4:24Speaker 5: I'm getting up.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Too quick, up too quick?
- 4:26Speaker 7: Wow?
- 4:27Speaker 10: Uh ge.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'm trying to think of what would be the most
- 4:31Speaker 1: uh HPV awareness that sure, I don't know.
- 4:35Speaker 12: Did you get your vaccine?
- 4:36Speaker 7: I don't think don't they only do that for.
- 4:38Speaker 8: Like lot now it's all ages approved, so there's no
- 4:42Speaker 8: excuse to have HPV.
- 4:43Speaker 7: But you still need an HPV vaccine.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I'm just trying to, Like everybody else got a holiday,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I'm just trying to. I don't want you to be left.
- 4:52Speaker 8: You know, Melita Gayson, did she get an STD Look,
- 4:55Speaker 8: that's a very good point.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Or I know, okay, so you were a theater kid
- 5:00Speaker 1: or dor Yeah, you weren't in the marching band where.
- 5:03Speaker 7: I don't know anything about instruments because.
- 5:05Speaker 1: They're kind of the same, right, No, marching marching band
- 5:08Speaker 1: kids and theater kids.
- 5:09Speaker 7: They would you kids are more brooding.
- 5:11Speaker 8: There's a high correlation.
- 5:14Speaker 7: First, someone who's never been in either. Definitely, someone who's
- 5:18Speaker 7: an observer.
- 5:18Speaker 5: I don't have to have been in either to know.
- 5:20Speaker 8: You don't have to be the greatest football coach in
- 5:22Speaker 8: the world. Go to SeaBASS for that.
- 5:25Speaker 5: It's cut from the same dork cloths.
- 5:26Speaker 10: Yeah, and sometimes they would, you know, interact in plays.
- 5:30Speaker 10: They would perform during play.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I mean they had a lot of time to bond
- 5:34Speaker 1: because they were both stuffed in a locker together, you
- 5:35Speaker 1: know kind of thing.
- 5:39Speaker 5: I mean you could be offended.
- 5:40Speaker 7: But okay, so I don't know any any marching band.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Okay, So who's cooler? No, No, I'm asking you a question.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Who's cooler? Would it be the marching band kids or
- 5:54Speaker 1: the theater kids?
- 5:55Speaker 7: As an adult looking back, I would say the marching
- 5:58Speaker 7: band kids.
- 5:58Speaker 5: Marching bands cooler.
- 6:00Speaker 7: They at least have more, they have more what's the
- 6:03Speaker 7: word like the they're up early, they're doing things that
- 6:07Speaker 7: actually matter. Theater kids are kind of lazy.
- 6:09Speaker 5: In my experience, Greg, who's.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Cooler theater kids or marching band Yeah? From my experience
- 6:15Speaker 1: in high school, that's what we're talking about. Now, everybody's equal.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I think both are wonderful.
- 6:19Speaker 11: From my experienced theater they were like the ones that
- 6:22Speaker 11: would like hang out in the corner and smoke, and
- 6:25Speaker 11: they were like obsessed with coffee, you know, and just
- 6:29Speaker 11: kind of more like artsy and chill I menace.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Uh.
- 6:34Speaker 10: Not not to be a hater, but I'm just saying
- 6:36Speaker 10: the theater kids were definitely the biggest dorcs at are
- 6:39Speaker 10: high school because.
- 6:40Speaker 5: More so than the band kids.
- 6:41Speaker 10: Because the band kids would actually go and be part
- 6:43Speaker 10: of like bands.
- 6:44Speaker 7: Well that's what I said, like in like for productive.
- 6:47Speaker 8: I also like to add, according to little.
- 6:50Speaker 10: Band, but they would like like go do like house parties.
- 6:53Speaker 8: According to an AI overview, roughly a sixty seventy percent
- 6:57Speaker 8: overlap high.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Is that right.
- 7:00Speaker 7: Because his robot boyfriend told him it's great.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Being right exactly now.
- 7:04Speaker 8: But to answer your other question, I would actually say
- 7:06Speaker 8: the theater kids they're both obnoxious, but they tend to
- 7:10Speaker 8: they have cooler in general because they they they do
- 7:14Speaker 8: get laid more than the band kids do because they're
- 7:16Speaker 8: banging each other.
- 7:16Speaker 7: That's true.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And if you're a dude, if you're a straight dude
- 7:20Speaker 1: in with the theater.
- 7:21Speaker 7: Kids, a lot of chicks themselves.
- 7:24Speaker 11: I knew a straight dude in the theater kid group
- 7:27Speaker 11: who banged the drama teacher.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Nice.
- 7:31Speaker 5: You know that was in the days like before this
- 7:33Speaker 5: stuff happened all the time and you.
- 7:35Speaker 8: Can't just discount how absolutely dopey band uniforms are.
- 7:41Speaker 7: Does make me a little sad experience.
- 7:44Speaker 9: The band kids are much quieter, like they're as opposed
- 7:48Speaker 9: to theater kids.
- 7:48Speaker 12: Theater kids were more popular.
- 7:50Speaker 9: The kids were very quiet and just kind of did
- 7:52Speaker 9: their things.
- 7:52Speaker 1: As a former high school cheerleader, Sammy, who did you
- 7:56Speaker 1: guys hate on more?
- 7:57Speaker 5: Who judge?
- 8:01Speaker 1: My guess is probably the theater kids you hated on
- 8:02Speaker 1: more because at least the band kids were on the
- 8:04Speaker 1: field like the Yeah, you're kind of in the same
- 8:08Speaker 1: circle somewhat, but not like you wouldn't associate.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Not yeah, okay no.
- 8:14Speaker 9: Because as a cheerleader, we did need to coordinate with band,
- 8:18Speaker 9: right because they're and the stands are there performing and
- 8:20Speaker 9: they're going to play the fight song when we score
- 8:22Speaker 9: a touchdown and it's a whole thing, and we would
- 8:24Speaker 9: coordinate with them.
- 8:25Speaker 7: I really love band.
- 8:26Speaker 12: I knew the girl who was head of band. She
- 8:27Speaker 12: was great.
- 8:28Speaker 9: And then off the theater for us was a lot
- 8:33Speaker 9: of people were in theater. We had guys on the
- 8:35Speaker 9: football team that were also in theater, and there was
- 8:37Speaker 9: a lot of crossover in a whole different budget. Can
- 8:39Speaker 9: I give a football players who cheered with us at
- 8:41Speaker 9: competition like we weren't like that?
- 8:43Speaker 7: And can I give an example that some of you
- 8:45Speaker 7: will at least will know the name of that. I
- 8:47Speaker 7: can give you an example of this, someone who was
- 8:49Speaker 7: a big football starter high school but also had to
- 8:51Speaker 7: coordinate a schedule because he was the biggest theater guy
- 8:54Speaker 7: in our high school. Is David Dismulsion? It happens, It
- 8:57Speaker 7: does happen.
- 8:58Speaker 8: What lamb tell me? I thought you knew who you were, don't.
- 9:04Speaker 7: He's all the he's an all, He's in Batman, Uh,
- 9:07Speaker 7: Dark Knight, He's in a bunch of Marvel movies.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Okay, Well, oh this guy.
- 9:11Speaker 7: He was a big Yeah, he was a big football dude.
- 9:15Speaker 8: Yeah, I believe that.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 9:17Speaker 5: I'm saying I believe you know.
- 9:20Speaker 7: I mean, there is a lot of a lot of
- 9:22Speaker 7: people listening will.
- 9:23Speaker 10: Know who he is.
- 9:23Speaker 8: I googled Davidson. The first question people also ask what
- 9:27Speaker 8: condition does David Okay, what does he apparently lego?
- 9:31Speaker 10: Okay, So the band kids that had a you know
- 9:34Speaker 10: a band outside of the.
- 9:37Speaker 5: But you're talking about like the Marching Band.
- 9:38Speaker 10: No, like the Marching Band kids. They also had a
- 9:41Speaker 10: band and yeah, it's called n PC. You know what
- 9:45Speaker 10: it stands for.
- 9:46Speaker 1: N PC. I don't take it, guess I don't want to.
- 9:50Speaker 10: Okay, Google, No, it's called No Fat Chicks.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Okay, got it?
- 10:00Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, I play all the house parties.
- 10:02Speaker 1: It was. Yeah, it was awesome. A eight.
- 10:08Speaker 10: Also also real quick wood with the whole acting thing.
- 10:11Speaker 10: The people that in my high school that wanted on
- 10:14Speaker 10: to do like actual acting stuff and TVs and movies
- 10:17Speaker 10: and stuff, they they weren't in the theater.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I know. It was weird, yeah, because.
- 10:23Speaker 10: You saw all the theater kids end up not doing anything.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Because the kids maybe who were in theater, like they're
- 10:28Speaker 1: probably those ones who grew up in as adults going
- 10:31Speaker 1: like I prefer the stage.
- 10:32Speaker 7: Oh yeah, Like they're too cool for spotlights.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yeah, they're too cool for uh, you know, they're too
- 10:38Speaker 1: pure for TV or movies.
- 10:40Speaker 8: Acting is pretty easy, pretty easy to spend that much
- 10:44Speaker 8: time all success.
- 10:45Speaker 1: They don't hit me.
- 10:47Speaker 7: Hey, I'm not gonna hit you one last and I'm
- 10:49Speaker 7: gonna throw them on the ground.
- 10:51Speaker 1: This how about today in history, menace, Okay, love it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: It was on this day, March fourth, eighteen seventy seven,
- 11:05Speaker 1: a long time ago that Emial Burliner invented the microphone.
- 11:10Speaker 7: Oh yeah, a meal, not Marcone.
- 11:12Speaker 5: Another invention by a woman, right, Sea Bass.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I'm saying five.
- 11:18Speaker 10: A meal.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Yeah, that's chick's name.
- 11:20Speaker 8: Right, Emily Emily.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Emily Merlinger Burliner or a Burliner Burlinger.
- 11:29Speaker 8: You didn't conflicting reports. A lot of people are saying
- 11:31Speaker 8: Alexander Graham Bell did the first brillian.
- 11:34Speaker 5: So when it.
- 11:34Speaker 10: Comes to that stuff like, there's always like somebody else
- 11:37Speaker 10: invented the ring, somebody else.
- 11:41Speaker 1: So what is a meal? A meal?
- 11:42Speaker 8: Burrliner she did, and the other two guys a guy developed.
- 11:45Speaker 5: It's a it is a dude, right, A meal?
- 11:47Speaker 8: A meal?
- 11:48Speaker 5: I would think a meal is a by the way, yeah,
- 11:50Speaker 5: I know I'm making I was making the joke.
- 11:52Speaker 8: Yeah, he did more of a carbon microphone, whereas Alexander
- 11:55Speaker 8: Graham Bell had a liquid transmitter. Okay, so meals better
- 12:00Speaker 8: type we use is yes, correct, more close to the
- 12:02Speaker 8: emal version. But the first actual microphone was ag.
- 12:06Speaker 1: B Okay, all right, all right, menace today in nineteen
- 12:09Speaker 1: seventy four is the first issue of People magazine arriving
- 12:13Speaker 1: on the newsstands.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Very very exciting.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Was that late?
- 12:16Speaker 8: I thought it'll be earlier.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Yeah, nineteen seventy four. Damn, I see what else we
- 12:20Speaker 1: got here in the world of entertainment, Gina grad you're
- 12:26Speaker 1: up first.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Well, Tyrese Gibson he's helping Keith Paul Walker's legacy alive
- 12:30Speaker 7: when he announced that nearly a million dollars has been
- 12:33Speaker 7: raised for Walker's charity, it's called reach Out Worldwide.
- 12:36Speaker 5: Is that a cool?
- 12:37Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 12:38Speaker 5: I mean how long does he?
- 12:41Speaker 7: I mean they've been fundraising for seven years.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Wow. A million dollars for somebody that high profile. I
- 12:46Speaker 1: mean it's great. Yeah, that's great.
- 12:47Speaker 5: I just thought I would have assumed it was way more.
- 12:49Speaker 7: No, it's a trillion, just coming at a million.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Died in twenty thirteen. Yeah.
- 12:53Speaker 7: Tyree shared the news on stage with Paul's brother Cody
- 12:56Speaker 7: at fuel Fest in West Pond Beach and said that
- 12:58Speaker 7: they expect to cross the million dollar threshold by the
- 13:01Speaker 7: end of the year.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 5: That fundraising is not too fast, not too furious.
- 13:04Speaker 7: Furious. Paul started reach Out Worldwide in twenty ten. Just
- 13:07Speaker 7: send trained volunteers to help areas hit by natural disasters,
- 13:10Speaker 7: and he was inspired by what happened with the earthquake
- 13:13Speaker 7: in Haiti. So a million bucks.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Yeah. Also shout out to uh my buddy Rizuto. He
- 13:18Speaker 1: just hosted a trivia night event and the charity was
- 13:22Speaker 1: for white kids in the suburbs getting iPads.
- 13:25Speaker 7: So necessary.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Did you know one out of seventy five white kids
- 13:29Speaker 1: in the suburbs don't they don't an iPad?
- 13:32Speaker 7: That breaks my heart?
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah, being that's that's true. Yeah, so I thought that
- 13:37Speaker 1: was a very nice thing. So at really great way
- 13:39Speaker 1: to go, Razuto. Yeah, yeah, menace what you got?
- 13:43Speaker 10: Well, Christina Applegate, you know, she's doing a lot of
- 13:45Speaker 10: interviews and I didn't know she dated Brad Pitt, but
- 13:49Speaker 10: apparently she did.
- 13:50Speaker 11: Yeah, and she took.
- 13:52Speaker 10: Him to the MTV Music Awards and her mom tagged along.
- 13:57Speaker 10: But she ditched both of them and started hanging out
- 14:00Speaker 10: Sebastian Bach.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Its only been with two chicks, Jennifer Aniston Gwyneth Paltrow.
- 14:06Speaker 7: I forgot about the same haircut.
- 14:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I forgot about Gwyneth Paltrow.
- 14:12Speaker 10: But yeah, she apparently ditched him to start dating Sebastian Bach,
- 14:17Speaker 10: but then regretted it because she found out that Sebastian
- 14:19Speaker 10: Bock actually had a girlfriend for over a year and
- 14:23Speaker 10: a baby and a baby and to add to the story.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And especially those like eighties bands to add to the story.
- 14:31Speaker 10: So she ditched him and he had to drive her
- 14:35Speaker 10: mom home, and apparently they stopped for gas and like
- 14:38Speaker 10: some gang members, almost kind of fight with him and
- 14:41Speaker 10: apparently apparently apparently, well, I say apparently instead allegedly because
- 14:46Speaker 10: I got pointed out for saying allegedly too much.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Apparently okay, so.
- 14:51Speaker 10: Can I stay with Apparently So apparently for legal reasons,
- 14:57Speaker 10: you have to stay, apparently just in.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Case they ever come after us for reporting this relationship from.
- 15:06Speaker 10: Supposedly supposedly allegedly brad Bid did not speak to her
- 15:13Speaker 10: for many many years because he was set up upset
- 15:16Speaker 10: by driving the mom home that night.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Had the last laugh what you got? Phones are open
- 15:21Speaker 1: eight seven seven forty four, Woodie. You can send us
- 15:24Speaker 1: a text over to two two nine eighty seven.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Now back to the Woody Show. All right, bored?
- 15:30Speaker 1: Did you hear about the ultra air Pokemon card that
- 15:33Speaker 1: costs us three bucks? All the way back in nineteen
- 15:36Speaker 1: ninety nine. It's sold for over forty thousand dollars in
- 15:41Speaker 1: an auction. See I'm gonna try, I'm gonna try my
- 15:45Speaker 1: best out. The card was a card addition Shadowless base
- 15:50Speaker 1: Set Surezard and nowadays this card is considered one of
- 15:58Speaker 1: the the holy grails in the Pokemon world. The card
- 16:01Speaker 1: was only printed in its earliest production run of cards
- 16:04Speaker 1: only like between they say four thousand and ten thousand,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and you got to figure, kids have these things, and
- 16:08Speaker 1: they had no idea, and we had baseball cards and
- 16:11Speaker 1: all kinds of stuff that if we would have held
- 16:12Speaker 1: onto that. My god, I just saw like someone selling
- 16:15Speaker 1: like a a Super Mario Brothers original cartridge. It's still
- 16:20Speaker 1: in the packaging, and I forget how much that's worth.
- 16:23Speaker 1: It's it's worth ten thousands of dollars. It's a Super
- 16:27Speaker 1: Mario game. It's still in again, still in the packaging.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Nobody's ever opened it, nobody's ever played it.
- 16:31Speaker 13: Yeah, those are actually rare because most of them were
- 16:33Speaker 13: the Mario and Duck Hunt combo oh that you got
- 16:35Speaker 13: with the console right right exactly, So there was very
- 16:38Speaker 13: few that were actually just Mario Brothers.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So they say, rule of all these these cards. They
- 16:43Speaker 1: were like between four and ten thousand. I made a
- 16:44Speaker 1: lot of them. Are no dog eared bad condition because.
- 16:47Speaker 8: You know, yeah, you didn't get failed on.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Yeah, well also we didn't.
- 16:50Speaker 13: We didn't notice what the pretty much these were like
- 16:53Speaker 13: print error cards. They were supposed to have like a
- 16:54Speaker 13: shadow around them, almost like a drop shadow effect on
- 16:56Speaker 13: all the texts and everything.
- 16:57Speaker 5: This is a shadow less basis.
- 17:02Speaker 10: We didn't know.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Sorry to all the Harry Potter dorks, but Daniel Radcliffe
- 17:06Speaker 1: just did an interview with the Wall Street Journal magazine
- 17:09Speaker 1: and the title of the piece is Daniel Radcliffe, doesn't
- 17:11Speaker 1: ali us remember those Harry Potter lines. Can you imagine
- 17:15Speaker 1: how crushing that is for a Harry Potter dork. You
- 17:17Speaker 1: get to meet Daniel Radcliffe, you start rattling it off.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It's like when I met carry Elwst and I started
- 17:21Speaker 1: doing Prince's bridelines. He looked at me like I was nuts.
- 17:25Speaker 1: He was awesome dude, and it was crushing. So I
- 17:28Speaker 1: can relate dorks, but it's anyway. They talked to him
- 17:31Speaker 1: about a bunch of stuff, like how he's now a
- 17:33Speaker 1: self proclaimed fitness freak, how he used to run on
- 17:37Speaker 1: coffee and cigarettes, like Greg nice, but now he's all
- 17:40Speaker 1: about working out. This will also bum you nerds out.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Daniel is also into fantasy football and not soccer, I
- 17:47Speaker 1: mean like NFL, so to the degree he says his
- 17:50Speaker 1: Mondays were sometimes ruined and spent just consoling himself based
- 17:54Speaker 1: on how bad the Sunday games.
- 17:55Speaker 8: Were prising for Englishman like them.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Well, it's like how people here all of a sudden
- 18:01Speaker 1: pretend they're going to be into stuff that just because
- 18:03Speaker 1: it's from some other place that they're not from.
- 18:05Speaker 8: World Cup's coming back, don't.
- 18:07Speaker 1: A few months ago, it was reported that Kristen bell, A,
- 18:10Speaker 1: Dina Menzel, and Josh gadd Your Favorite Sea Bass that
- 18:13Speaker 1: they were going to be getting sixty million dollars each
- 18:15Speaker 1: for the next two Frozen movies. But Kristen bell says
- 18:19Speaker 1: that is bs. She says that the gig does pay
- 18:22Speaker 1: very well. She's not they're not paid well, but it's
- 18:25Speaker 1: not sixty million, and that doyn't keep doing it as
- 18:27Speaker 1: long as they'll have her, no kidding. Yeah, don't that
- 18:33Speaker 1: used to be a thing where like if somebody somebody
- 18:37Speaker 1: was doing really well on TV, like they had a
- 18:39Speaker 1: big role on a television show, they would leave for movies. Yes, yeah,
- 18:43Speaker 1: and then they go and they try their hand in
- 18:44Speaker 1: movies and they would sull. Wasn't David Caruso one of
- 18:46Speaker 1: those guys I believe? So? Yeah? Well he ended up
- 18:50Speaker 1: going back to TV a movie. He left TV to
- 18:53Speaker 1: go be more of a film actor, and then he
- 18:56Speaker 1: ended up going back to TV and had a huge
- 18:58Speaker 1: run with CSI Miami. The same. Yeah.
- 19:01Speaker 11: And then famously Julianna Margulis from Er, they offered her
- 19:04Speaker 11: twenty million bucks to do one more season and she said.
- 19:07Speaker 7: No, I'm tired of this show.
- 19:09Speaker 1: People three episodes of this ran us Yeah, and then
- 19:11Speaker 1: people eventually realized, man, you just dude. You you hit
- 19:15Speaker 1: your wagon to one of these hit shows, and you
- 19:17Speaker 1: stay on board as long as you can.
- 19:18Speaker 5: Keep that thing going.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you. Saturday Night Live is being trashed for
- 19:22Speaker 1: doing this Tourett sketch on their episode last weekend, but
- 19:27Speaker 1: it really didn't insult the disease or people who were
- 19:29Speaker 1: actually suffering from it. Uh. They had people pretending to
- 19:31Speaker 1: be you know, Mel Gibson and jk Rowling who would
- 19:34Speaker 1: blaming the controversial things that they have said on the disease.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I have a hear I have a I have a
- 19:39Speaker 1: little clip here for you to check it out.
- 19:41Speaker 2: This week at the BAFT Awards, the crowd was shocked
- 19:44Speaker 2: as several offensive words were shouted from the crowd, but
- 19:47Speaker 2: a so stalin coming pointed out the hateful language was unintentional.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It was involuntary verbal tics from the man suffering from
- 19:53Speaker 2: tourett centdro right. Hi, I'm Mel Gibbson, And as I
- 19:58Speaker 2: probably should have pointed out years ago, I too suffer
- 20:01Speaker 2: from tourette A lot of the things I've said or
- 20:05Speaker 2: yeah through the years.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Am I proud of what I said? No, but I
- 20:09Speaker 1: am very proud for you to.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Know it was because Tourette's Unfortunately, I'm not alone.
- 20:14Speaker 1: No.
- 20:15Speaker 7: Hi, I'm og real housewife in New York, Jill Zarren.
- 20:21Speaker 10: You might have seen the video I posted this week
- 20:23Speaker 10: where I said bad Bunny did the worst halftime show.
- 20:26Speaker 12: In history and why was it in Spanish?
- 20:29Speaker 7: And where were all the white people?
- 20:32Speaker 10: But what you didn't know is that I suffered from
- 20:34Speaker 10: severe long winded monologue style Tourett's.
- 20:39Speaker 7: Vision that affects the.
- 20:40Speaker 5: Dyne at of ten people on Long Island.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Hi, I'm Armie Hammer. No, not that there was one
- 20:48Speaker 1: with the old Cosby hook.
- 20:50Speaker 14: Immediately after the bactors, I talked to the doctors and
- 20:55Speaker 14: scientists and the lawyers, and they agreed that could suffer
- 21:00Speaker 14: from something called the drink to refs, so to say,
- 21:03Speaker 14: I try to order the Doe coke, simple right, Only
- 21:06Speaker 14: sometimes it'll come out like I need the double whiskey
- 21:09Speaker 14: with a bunch of g H being mixed in a
- 21:13Speaker 14: second condition called tender blindness.
- 21:16Speaker 1: So instead of giving the drink.
- 21:17Speaker 14: Toself, I give it to like sixty different women. That's
- 21:22Speaker 14: how the works with his visit and.
- 21:27Speaker 1: It's so funny, So good drinks, Sam, you're gonna be
- 21:33Speaker 1: happy about this. Speaking of sexual predators, did he cut
- 21:35Speaker 1: a month and a half off of his four year
- 21:37Speaker 1: sentence by participating in the drug abuse really rehabilitation? Did?
- 21:42Speaker 7: Right? Do we really think he can be rehabilitated?
- 21:47Speaker 8: Like, get me right, just you.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Timberlake is suing the Long Island town of sag Harbor
- 21:51Speaker 1: to prevent that body cam footage from drunk driving arrest
- 21:54Speaker 1: from going public.
- 21:55Speaker 7: I'd like to see that's.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Smart, though.
- 21:56Speaker 10: Yeah, he doesn't want that video coming out. So yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 10: because I apparently apparently somebody put out a request because
- 22:03Speaker 10: Freedom of Information Act, you get the video and then
- 22:06Speaker 10: they found out, so now they're trying to figure out
- 22:08Speaker 10: what did he say that?
- 22:10Speaker 1: Anybody want video out there?
- 22:12Speaker 7: But those are the best the body camp.
- 22:14Speaker 5: But it's already out there.
- 22:15Speaker 8: I'd like to see that video is worth a thousand words, baby.
- 22:20Speaker 1: And then finally, Metallica has added six new shows to
- 22:23Speaker 1: their residency at the Sphere. That was cool. I'm definitely
- 22:27Speaker 1: gonna go see that. Yeah, that dude, Metallica the Sphere,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I think would be that's I have not seen anything
- 22:32Speaker 1: at the Sphere yet.
- 22:33Speaker 7: That's the thing to see.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I think for me, that's probably the perfect show to
- 22:36Speaker 1: start with. Metallica the Sphere ripped time for your birthdays
- 22:41Speaker 1: and your corner birthday both show.
- 22:45Speaker 14: We're gonna it's shiver, We're gonna like it's and you know.

- 23:12Speaker 1: I love her. Next Year's Gonna Rule. Mickelti Williamson, who
- 23:15Speaker 1: played Bubba and Forrest Gump.
- 23:18Speaker 5: He is sixty nine years old.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Gregyce Draymond Green, the NBA star forward for the Golden
- 23:24Speaker 1: State Warriors, is thirty six. Landon Donovan, who some say
- 23:28Speaker 1: is the best soccer player ever from the US now
- 23:31Speaker 1: retired for the LA Galaxy. He coaches in San Diego
- 23:34Speaker 1: for the USL now he's forty four, and then not
- 23:37Speaker 1: speaking of Metallica X Basis for Metallica, Jason Newstead is

- 24:45Speaker 5: Woody.
- 24:46Speaker 1: You can set us a text check in over to
- 24:48Speaker 1: two to nine eight seven. We got the trending news headlines,
- 24:53Speaker 1: Juni grad, what's happening well, the war.
- 24:55Speaker 7: Between US, the US, Israel, and Iran continues and Iran's
- 24:59Speaker 7: air forces and have been quote knocked out. The strikes
- 25:03Speaker 7: have destroyed seventeen Iranian ships and over two thousand targets.
- 25:08Speaker 7: As citizens are scrambling to leave the area since the
- 25:10Speaker 7: US closed three embassies in three countries and they want
- 25:14Speaker 7: Americans out. On the other side of things, one of
- 25:16Speaker 7: Iran's biggest allies is China, and they want nothing to
- 25:19Speaker 7: do with this war. They are calling for de escalation.
- 25:22Speaker 8: Meanwhile, oil price a lot of people don't want anything
- 25:24Speaker 8: to do.
- 25:25Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, but when it comes to your buddy there,
- 25:28Speaker 7: they say, leave us out of it. Meanwhile, oil prices
- 25:31Speaker 7: are continuing to climb, and the average price of a
- 25:34Speaker 7: gallon of gas jump nine cents just overnight, and polling
- 25:38Speaker 7: shows that while the majority season ran as a security risk,
- 25:41Speaker 7: people are fifty to fifty when it comes to these strikes.
- 25:43Speaker 7: The Senate is also considering a resolution intended to quote
- 25:46Speaker 7: rein in the powers of the president when it comes
- 25:49Speaker 7: to wars.
- 25:49Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm still trying to fully understand what is happening
- 25:53Speaker 10: because I know that Iran, like their economy was dust
- 25:57Speaker 10: and then I guess this is a good opportunity to
- 25:59Speaker 10: jump in and just like have a regime change or something.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Regime regimes, regime.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 26:06Speaker 10: I don't understand what I don't know.
- 26:07Speaker 5: I don't pretend to understand.
- 26:08Speaker 7: Yeah, they want their president back who was exiled. But
- 26:11Speaker 7: now the Iatola's son is in the mix. It is crazy.
- 26:14Speaker 7: Like Minna said, like, good luck trying to keep up
- 26:16Speaker 7: with all this.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Meanwhile, I'm just waiting for the new Dutch Brothers
- 26:20Speaker 1: to open up. They're building one pretty close to the house.
- 26:23Speaker 10: He is really cool, dude, shout to the Colbrew kicker man.
- 26:27Speaker 1: So good. Oh, what was supposed to be a David
- 26:30Speaker 1: Busters opening up? Buy our house. It's not a David Busters.
- 26:33Speaker 1: It's a David Busters like place. It's not Dave and Busters.
- 26:38Speaker 7: This is something I actually need to know. It's not David.
- 26:41Speaker 12: That's the stuff.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I'm real invested.
- 26:43Speaker 10: Yeah, oh dude. The Dutch brothers. Also, they have these
- 26:45Speaker 10: things called muffin tops. Pretty good, are they literally? We're
- 26:49Speaker 10: pretty Yeah. They're muffins is smashed into like like a
- 26:52Speaker 10: cookie shape.
- 26:53Speaker 7: That's all I want to be there. Okay, that's the
- 26:55Speaker 7: real headline. Also, the father of a suspected school shooter
- 26:59Speaker 7: was convicted yesterday for a twenty twenty four mass shooting
- 27:01Speaker 7: committed by his son. The father was convicted on twenty
- 27:05Speaker 7: seven counts of second degree murder and manslaughter after he
- 27:09Speaker 7: gave his son a rifle for Christmas and the son
- 27:11Speaker 7: turned around and used it to shoot people.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I ever got a rifle for Christmas?
- 27:15Speaker 7: Yeah? Like a you know, like a like a Christmas story.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:18Speaker 7: Well, prosecutors presented evidence during the trial and said, well.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Not exactly like Christmas.
- 27:22Speaker 12: Tree, no, no, to be begun.
- 27:24Speaker 7: It said that the man had been warned that his
- 27:26Speaker 7: son had quote an affinity for mass shooters, and that
- 27:29Speaker 7: he was aware that his son kept a shrine in
- 27:32Speaker 7: his bedroom dedicated to the shooter in the Parkland school
- 27:34Speaker 7: shooting back in twenty eighteen. And after all that, dad
- 27:37Speaker 7: still gave a rifle. So the dad is the first
- 27:40Speaker 7: parent in US history to be convicted of murder due
- 27:43Speaker 7: to the alleged acts of their kid. He's facing ten
- 27:46Speaker 7: to thirty years in prison on each murder count and
- 27:49Speaker 7: one to ten years for each manslaughter charge.
- 27:51Speaker 1: All the plate you done with that one?
- 27:53Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:53Speaker 1: Okay? A place called Round one bowling, Yeah yeah, yeah, yes,
- 28:00Speaker 1: so it's not gonna be David Busters around.
- 28:01Speaker 10: One's great rules.
- 28:03Speaker 8: Yeah love Round one ye yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 7: Okay. Here's some more good news. Well, breast cancer, you know,
- 28:08Speaker 7: is still common cancer for women worldwide, but in twenty
- 28:11Speaker 7: twenty three, nearly one in four women diagnosed with cancer
- 28:15Speaker 7: they had breast cancer. But the survival rate keeps getting
- 28:18Speaker 7: better and better.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Here.
- 28:20Speaker 7: According to a report covering nineteen ninety to twenty twenty three,
- 28:24Speaker 7: breast cancer deaths rates in the US fell by more
- 28:27Speaker 7: than forty percent. So according to the American Cancer Society,
- 28:30Speaker 7: the drop is thanks to early detection like mammograms, improvements
- 28:34Speaker 7: and treatment, and just overall awareness. So get them boobies
- 28:38Speaker 7: smashed in them plates, ladies, it literally could save your life.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I did see something like the number of people being
- 28:44Speaker 1: diagnosed with are up, yeah right, but the deaths are
- 28:49Speaker 1: down right is good? And this made me considering that,
- 28:52Speaker 1: you know, so many more people are being diagnosed absolutely.
- 28:55Speaker 7: And I got to ask Samy and Morgan since there
- 28:57Speaker 7: I don't know, like a year younger than me, right,
- 29:00Speaker 7: but we're not. Let's make that clear, yes, Morgan's baby.
- 29:05Speaker 7: Do you guys remember in high school the b s
- 29:08Speaker 7: E Videos which was breast self examination videos.
- 29:11Speaker 9: No, I don't remember the videos, but I mean it
- 29:14Speaker 9: was a general thing.
- 29:15Speaker 12: It was in the American Girl Book about your Body.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I remember that we got the American was that.
- 29:21Speaker 9: Your education body Book? And yeah, talk you everything about
- 29:25Speaker 9: your body.
- 29:26Speaker 12: It was huge.
- 29:26Speaker 7: Everyone had that book.
- 29:28Speaker 8: Really, Yeah, I remember that at the store school issue.
- 29:32Speaker 5: Is this like the American girl dolls?
- 29:34Speaker 9: Yes, but they had they had books about the dolls
- 29:38Speaker 9: and then they also had the body book and it
- 29:41Speaker 9: taught girls about their bodies.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I had never heard. I mean, I guess it makes sense.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I never even heard of American girl dolls until you
- 29:48Speaker 1: had a daughter. Until I had a daughter. But I didn't.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I mean I heard of Barbie's, right, cabbage Patch Kids,
- 29:54Speaker 1: these different things I had never heard, like for something
- 29:56Speaker 1: that was such a big deal, I never heard of
- 29:58Speaker 1: that brand.
- 29:58Speaker 11: I had never heard of it until you had a
- 30:00Speaker 11: daughter and then learned all about it. Customized cafe.
- 30:07Speaker 10: Yeah, oh my god, I just knew about it again
- 30:10Speaker 10: through your daughter. And then I was walking in New
- 30:13Speaker 10: York and they had like a three story building for this.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Yes. Did did your step son ever have his uh
- 30:19Speaker 1: sex education things?
- 30:21Speaker 15: Yes?
- 30:22Speaker 7: Oh my god, they ready, yes, they well, he's fifth grade.
- 30:25Speaker 7: And so the boys watch a video one room, the
- 30:26Speaker 7: girl's watching the other room, and they went.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Over simply have a thing for the parents beforehand, like
- 30:32Speaker 1: they were gonna pate a screening.
- 30:34Speaker 7: But I wasn't able to go, so I asked for
- 30:36Speaker 7: the transcript. So my husband and I had to be funny.
- 30:39Speaker 7: Did like a dramatic reading of it, but it was
- 30:41Speaker 7: they covered a lot of ground and then it's it's
- 30:44Speaker 7: spun into a conversation about how boys always hold books
- 30:48Speaker 7: like over there, like like mid section, and you know,
- 30:52Speaker 7: and girl, I didn't know that, Yeah for boners, did
- 30:55Speaker 7: you guys literally walk around with books in front of
- 30:57Speaker 7: your bone.
- 30:58Speaker 1: No, but I wasn't just walking around it's cool with
- 31:00Speaker 1: a boner.
- 31:01Speaker 7: Yeah, that's the whole point that you don't know what
- 31:04Speaker 7: it's going to happen.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Okay, not that it's there's something called an n RB
- 31:07Speaker 1: no reason boner, That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, it's
- 31:10Speaker 1: there's nothing going on, there's nothing sexually stimulating you. It's
- 31:13Speaker 1: just an n r B right right now. Those I
- 31:17Speaker 1: don't know. I don't I don't ever remember.
- 31:20Speaker 7: Like carrying your backpack.
- 31:23Speaker 10: Yeah, that sat down and then you waited for it
- 31:26Speaker 10: to go away.
- 31:27Speaker 1: That just seems like something that happens in movies.
- 31:31Speaker 11: Absolutely, it was never a problem. I never went to
- 31:33Speaker 11: say one time and thought like, oh god, never, what
- 31:35Speaker 11: an awkward boner day.
- 31:37Speaker 7: Oh I thought this was a much bigger problem. I
- 31:38Speaker 7: thought it was a rampant for teenage boys and you
- 31:42Speaker 7: got to like flip it up or whatever. Yeah, I
- 31:44Speaker 7: don't think that was the video.
- 31:46Speaker 8: Yeah, in the waistband, yeah it will flip naturally.
- 31:51Speaker 7: Super Bad said you got to flip it up in
- 31:55Speaker 7: your waistman.
- 31:56Speaker 11: Yeah, okay, I mean.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Saying I see you're saying.
- 32:01Speaker 7: So if it's like you got to reach your waistband
- 32:03Speaker 7: if it's.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Pointing straight out, okay, yeah, it's it's the upper tuck
- 32:07Speaker 1: as opposed to, you know, the lower touch to people
- 32:09Speaker 1: who you know, Oh look a pretty good, the lower touch.
- 32:15Speaker 7: I remember in high school I had to we all
- 32:17Speaker 7: couldn't fit in this car, and I just sit on
- 32:19Speaker 7: one of my guy friend's laps and he was like,
- 32:21Speaker 7: hold on, and then he goes, okay, now you can't.
- 32:23Speaker 7: I go, what did you do? It goes, I had
- 32:25Speaker 7: to flip it up. Yeah, yeah, so you don't sit
- 32:29Speaker 7: on it.
- 32:30Speaker 1: That makes it No, it was flipped up. Yeah.
- 32:32Speaker 11: If you had an NRB you couldn't tuck down.
- 32:35Speaker 7: It hurts yourself anyway.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Good to know a headstand, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah exactly.
- 32:42Speaker 7: Just to pee, Yeah, right, exactly. That's what I've heard.
- 32:44Speaker 11: I didn't know they did it in fifth grade though,
- 32:45Speaker 11: that seems way too young.
- 32:47Speaker 7: Well they're trying to figure out yeah, well nocturnal emissions.
- 32:52Speaker 8: Yeah, it comes up for me.
- 32:53Speaker 1: It was I think freshman year as well.
- 32:55Speaker 7: Started no girls fifth reproductive stuff for girls started fourth
- 33:00Speaker 7: grade for us period.
- 33:02Speaker 9: So sex said and learning about your bodies are two
- 33:05Speaker 9: different things.
- 33:06Speaker 12: You learn about your.
- 33:07Speaker 9: Body at a younger age and the older you do sex.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yes, I feel so cheated because I never got the
- 33:12Speaker 1: wet dream thing either, never happened, never happens. Of gelling things, well,
- 33:18Speaker 1: of course the real.
- 33:21Speaker 7: Every no guy in here has ever had.
- 33:23Speaker 11: No I've had probably four or five Oka like you
- 33:27Speaker 11: woke up with the puddle. Oh yeah, really, like what
- 33:29Speaker 11: the hell happened?
- 33:30Speaker 1: Awesome?
- 33:31Speaker 5: It's cool.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Oh for sure.
- 33:33Speaker 11: There was one that in the dream. It wasn't about sex.
- 33:37Speaker 11: It was pee where you have to piece so bad,
- 33:40Speaker 11: and then you in the dream you finally get to
- 33:42Speaker 11: like a urinal or whatever, and then you're like, oh,
- 33:46Speaker 11: and then you wake up. You're like, why is the
- 33:49Speaker 11: elm everywhere?
- 33:52Speaker 10: I thought it was?
- 33:52Speaker 7: Do you tell your parents? But how do you fix it?
- 33:56Speaker 1: You just don't as a grown man. You bury it
- 34:00Speaker 1: in the bottom of the hamper it and then you
- 34:02Speaker 1: wait for your mom to do laundry.
- 34:04Speaker 7: Yeah, she'll never notice, poor mom. I know.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Well, we thought they were so dumb.
- 34:07Speaker 7: Yeah, oh my god, it's gonna be so gross. So
- 34:10Speaker 7: this crewman named Todd Meadows. You know, I don't know
- 34:13Speaker 7: if you guys are familiar with the Deadliest Catch. He's
- 34:16Speaker 7: died after he fell overboard into the ocean. The crew
- 34:19Speaker 7: was over one hundred and seventy miles up the coast
- 34:21Speaker 7: of Alaska when the coastguard got a man overboard alert.
- 34:24Speaker 7: He was rescued by the crew about ten minutes later,
- 34:27Speaker 7: but unresponsive. They tried CPR that didn't work. Todd was
- 34:30Speaker 7: in his first year as a cast member of the show.
- 34:33Speaker 7: They filmed a few episodes, but they hadn't aired yet,
- 34:35Speaker 7: and a funrise razor has been set up in his
- 34:38Speaker 7: honor that's raised about thirty thousand so far.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Yeah, they always have a crab fishermen, oh god, on
- 34:44Speaker 1: the list of most dangerous jobs.
- 34:46Speaker 11: Yeah, that's why crab's so damn expensive.
- 34:48Speaker 7: Yeah, and that's why they don't they make like seventy
- 34:50Speaker 7: five grand every time they go out or something, because
- 34:52Speaker 7: it's really scary.
- 34:53Speaker 10: Don't they make it safeer somehow?
- 34:55Speaker 1: Wow? So can we have the crabs come to us?
- 34:58Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 34:58Speaker 12: Put some floaties on Woody.
- 34:59Speaker 7: When I first this story, I immediately thought of you
- 35:02Speaker 7: and thought of you doing this, and I would trust
- 35:04Speaker 7: you to do it. A small plane has been forced
- 35:06Speaker 7: to make an emergency landing in the Hudson River.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I don't want to do that.
- 35:09Speaker 7: I know, I could see you doing it successfully. This
- 35:12Speaker 7: one happened about sixty miles north of Manhattan. It involved
- 35:15Speaker 7: a flight instructor and a student pilot. It's like Captain Soli,
- 35:18Speaker 7: that's exactly right. The plane took off for a scheduled
- 35:21Speaker 7: night training, but started having mechanical problems after they did
- 35:24Speaker 7: a stop and go maneuver at another airport.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Ah yeah, yeah, so stop and goes, you land and
- 35:30Speaker 1: you come to a stop on the runway and you
- 35:32Speaker 1: just take back off and get out. Okay, Well, no,
- 35:34Speaker 1: you don't even leave the runway. So like, the plane
- 35:36Speaker 1: lands on the runway and you come to a stop
- 35:38Speaker 1: as as you can. Yeah, and then from that point
- 35:42Speaker 1: you fire that engine back up and then take back off.
- 35:44Speaker 7: Well, the instructor to control the plane put out a
- 35:47Speaker 7: mayday call, and that's when the engine failed. They were
- 35:50Speaker 7: too far from a runway, so yeah, they pulled a
- 35:51Speaker 7: solly landed right in the legend. They were able to
- 35:54Speaker 7: swim to shore. So they're okay, and the FA is investigating.
- 35:58Speaker 7: I think that's where my problem would be, Like.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so in real life, when would you do
- 36:05Speaker 1: a stop and go? I did it a bunch because
- 36:08Speaker 1: you have to do a certain number that he was
- 36:09Speaker 1: doing his night training.
- 36:10Speaker 7: He said, like life, what would be in real life?
- 36:13Speaker 1: Reason, you really don't, Okay, you don't. You do it
- 36:17Speaker 1: for fun, because when you have your pilot's license, you
- 36:20Speaker 1: have to there's proficiency, and then there's called currency. Currency
- 36:24Speaker 1: just like you your license doesn't expire. But in order
- 36:27Speaker 1: to quote stay current, meaning that I can carry passengers,
- 36:30Speaker 1: I can carry passengers at night. Uh, you have to
- 36:32Speaker 1: do certain things and certain are like a certain number
- 36:35Speaker 1: of landings and take offs within a ninety day period.
- 36:38Speaker 5: Right, So the night.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Ones were easier to knock out because I had to
- 36:42Speaker 1: do I forget how many of them in order to
- 36:44Speaker 1: get my pilot's license. So we flew up somewhere like
- 36:48Speaker 1: a more quiet airport at night, and then we did
- 36:51Speaker 1: like fifteen of these stopping goes just to knock them out.
- 36:55Speaker 1: You wouldn't do it, like, I can't imagine any kind
- 36:58Speaker 1: of like practical application for yeah, right, I don't get it,
- 37:01Speaker 1: but people will do it when they are trying to
- 37:04Speaker 1: get currents. So like, oh, I need to knock out
- 37:06Speaker 1: these three. So rather than land, get off the runway,
- 37:09Speaker 1: taxi back, Yeah, get in line again and then take off.
- 37:12Speaker 1: You can request from the tire can we do a
- 37:13Speaker 1: stop and.
- 37:14Speaker 7: Go and you just knocked them all out?
- 37:15Speaker 8: If you have a long enough runway, you can do
- 37:17Speaker 8: it nice. Yeah, well no, because.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I mean you're like a little plane, like I'm flying.
- 37:23Speaker 1: You know, you got a ten thousand foot runway. You
- 37:25Speaker 1: need three thousand feet to take off. You feels like
- 37:29Speaker 1: you need.
- 37:32Speaker 12: Plane.
- 37:32Speaker 11: Hun Greg, it's so tired, tired, tired.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:37Speaker 7: Well, finally, well and with some woody show food news,
- 37:40Speaker 7: KFC announced that they're bringing back the famous Twister to
- 37:43Speaker 7: the menu. This is only for a limited time, but
- 37:46Speaker 7: for those twisters. Yeah, you don't remember the Twister memories? Okay,
- 37:49Speaker 7: Well this sounds familiar and this might spark your memory.
- 37:52Speaker 7: It was from the nineties. It featured roasted chicken, ranch dressing,
- 37:55Speaker 7: bacon bits, and shredded cheddar in like a pita style bread.
- 37:59Speaker 7: And now this new version it's a little difference. Goot,
- 38:01Speaker 7: ghost pepper mayo instead of ranch. I'm so over the
- 38:04Speaker 7: ghost pepper thing. And there's also no cheese, so.
- 38:07Speaker 1: You know, it looks like a McDonald's snackrap.
- 38:10Speaker 7: Exactly, it looks like a snack. So it's available nationwide,
- 38:13Speaker 7: but only for a limited time, So if you're even
- 38:15Speaker 7: remotely curious, go now. And that's what's going on.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Buddie, Thank you very much. Gina Grant got it. We're
- 38:20Speaker 1: gonna take a quick break more. What a show is next?
- 38:22Speaker 1: Take time show.
- 38:26Speaker 5: We'll be right back, all right, Welcome back, everybody.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, I grabbed our friend Nicole Alvarez past coming
- 38:37Speaker 1: to hide cool so because we were we were discussing
- 38:41Speaker 1: this over text, and I wanted to get because Greg
- 38:43Speaker 1: brought up his unpopular opinion about firefighters.
- 38:49Speaker 5: About firefighters have.
- 38:50Speaker 7: A few popular opinions.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, so that you said that you don't really
- 38:57Speaker 1: get the job of a pharmacy, like you understand the job,
- 38:59Speaker 1: but like pharmacist, Yeah, like you understand the job.
- 39:02Speaker 5: It's like, okay whatever.
- 39:03Speaker 11: To be a pharmacist, you have to be able to
- 39:04Speaker 11: count right and slide pills into a bottle using like
- 39:08Speaker 11: a knife while counting them with a butter knife with butter,
- 39:11Speaker 11: and then the directions are on the medication that you
- 39:13Speaker 11: read to the customer, so you're essentially a cashier.
- 39:16Speaker 1: So Nicole, I mean right, So Nicole went to London
- 39:22Speaker 1: for Fred again, who's a DJA, right, and I like
- 39:25Speaker 1: Fred again. I know by the way I like all
- 39:27Speaker 1: that stuff. I like all the DM stuff for whatever. Okay,
- 39:29Speaker 1: So I want to preface my my point here with this.
- 39:32Speaker 1: So she went to the Fred again. It was the
- 39:34Speaker 1: final performance of his residency. Okay, and I keep seeing
- 39:38Speaker 1: this video that pops up and it's one of the
- 39:40Speaker 1: dudes from Daft Punk. I'm sorry, I don't know who's who.
- 39:44Speaker 7: Or what it is.
- 39:45Speaker 8: Benglilder, sure that guy?
- 39:47Speaker 1: Why so he came out and people lost their mind.
- 39:51Speaker 1: It wasn't because they just saw him all of a sudden,
- 39:54Speaker 1: he starts to play one more time, right, Okay, dude
- 39:58Speaker 1: literally just push play.
- 40:00Speaker 16: He wasn't he.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Wasn't doing he wasn't doing anything.
- 40:04Speaker 5: I'm just kind of standing there.
- 40:05Speaker 1: He goes one of the biggest hits ever more time, right,
- 40:11Speaker 1: and people are losing their mind as if he's like,
- 40:14Speaker 1: all of a sudden, it'd be like if like Jimmy
- 40:16Speaker 1: HENDRICKX appeared and start playing a guitar.
- 40:19Speaker 5: He literally just pushed play.
- 40:21Speaker 1: This is the part about that scene that I don't get, Like,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I don't get why people go so like we've seen
- 40:28Speaker 1: a lot of these guys.
- 40:29Speaker 5: iHeart Radio Music festival.
- 40:31Speaker 1: And it's just a table on the stage and a
- 40:34Speaker 1: dude sitting there does a couple of fist pumps. My
- 40:38Speaker 1: question is like, what are we watching? Because then there's
- 40:41Speaker 1: a lot of these guys. When they produced the music,
- 40:42Speaker 1: it's very that's very good. They're very talented, and they
- 40:45Speaker 1: come up with some really cool stuff stuff that that's
- 40:46Speaker 1: the part that I enjoyed. The actual music is the
- 40:49Speaker 1: result of that, correct, I enjoy that. I don't get
- 40:52Speaker 1: what the appeal of going to see any of these
- 40:55Speaker 1: dudes are because they lost their mind. You were there.
- 40:58Speaker 1: They lost their mind because Homie hit play.
- 41:03Speaker 7: A banger.
- 41:06Speaker 16: We were talking about it. To me, it's the dancing.
- 41:09Speaker 16: I want to go to a room where people dance,
- 41:10Speaker 16: and how.
- 41:11Speaker 7: Often can you do that?
- 41:12Speaker 1: Now?
- 41:13Speaker 16: If we want to go dancing, where do where do
- 41:15Speaker 16: we go dancing? Gina in my living room?
- 41:17Speaker 12: Well?
- 41:17Speaker 16: No, okay, Well I like to go dancing in a
- 41:19Speaker 16: big room of people. And I think like, if the
- 41:21Speaker 16: DJ is playing his own music, I think it's cool
- 41:24Speaker 16: if he presses the button, because that's what we do.
- 41:25Speaker 7: We press buttons music. We are not.
- 41:32Speaker 5: Just put the same song.
- 41:33Speaker 7: Yeah, but it's a generation.
- 41:35Speaker 10: It's generation might be in their car turning up and
- 41:38Speaker 10: that's pretty much like the same thing.
- 41:40Speaker 16: Yeah, and these people want to go in a room,
- 41:42Speaker 16: take molly, drink liquid death and jump together.
- 41:45Speaker 1: So why okay if that's the case, Like, Okay, I've
- 41:49Speaker 1: never been like a super big club guy, but I've
- 41:51Speaker 1: been in playing places where there's a DJ playing and
- 41:53Speaker 1: they play all kinds of songs and he might have
- 41:55Speaker 1: a couple of wo girls who are out there. But
- 41:58Speaker 1: it's not like the bar like stopped whoa, it starts
- 42:02Speaker 1: getting up and freaking out. Yeah.
- 42:03Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a new generation.
- 42:05Speaker 16: He's like, you don't see when I go to these places,
- 42:07Speaker 16: I'm the oldest person there. Yeah, I shouldn't know. They
- 42:10Speaker 16: grew up with the with the guys pressing the buttons.
- 42:13Speaker 16: To them, that is entertainment. Wow, and those guys are
- 42:15Speaker 16: worth what we were talking about, fifty million dollars the
- 42:17Speaker 16: guy from Daft Punk.
- 42:18Speaker 5: I get it.
- 42:19Speaker 1: But see the thing is the guys from Daft Punk
- 42:20Speaker 1: they created like they created this song, right, Yeah, so that's.
- 42:25Speaker 10: What that's what all those the big one they are
- 42:27Speaker 10: making their own songs. So the people are waiting for them, and.
- 42:32Speaker 16: What is defense in the video as well, Like the
- 42:35Speaker 16: guys from Daft Punk, he pressed play on an usher
- 42:38Speaker 16: song and.
- 42:38Speaker 7: People lost their mind.
- 42:41Speaker 1: He's there.
- 42:41Speaker 16: Yeah, but if you're not the dude from daft Punk,
- 42:46Speaker 16: then it's weird.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Again.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Appreciate the genre, the m music I do. I enjoy it.
- 42:52Speaker 1: The product, Yeah, the product, as the McDonald's CEO's, I
- 42:56Speaker 1: enjoyed the product. I just don't get the appeal of
- 42:59Speaker 1: going to see well.
- 43:01Speaker 10: Because I take you to E d C.
- 43:02Speaker 7: So I see a field trip in our future. I
- 43:05Speaker 7: see field trips in our future.
- 43:07Speaker 8: When you go to one of these big like like
- 43:08Speaker 8: you're saying, e DC Tomorrow World, whatever it is. It's huge,
- 43:13Speaker 8: giant set pieces. Okay, flashing license sound all the time.
- 43:18Speaker 8: Production to enhance drug which is that high your drugs
- 43:21Speaker 8: in your system? The drugs drugs.
- 43:23Speaker 7: So I think our answer is simply drugs, drugs?
- 43:26Speaker 17: Are you?
- 43:27Speaker 1: Are you doing drugs while you're not?
- 43:28Speaker 7: When I was there, I had a mango white claw.
- 43:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 43:33Speaker 1: So while we're talking about this, because this also kind
- 43:35Speaker 1: of came up in our conversation, another one I don't
- 43:37Speaker 1: get because she tried to use the the example of
- 43:40Speaker 1: the guy who's conducting the orchestra.
- 43:42Speaker 5: What are you doing, dude, You're waving a stick around like.
- 43:45Speaker 10: Like now that guy's legit doing nothing, traffic copping.
- 43:50Speaker 8: We've mentioned this before. It is he's being a live
- 43:52Speaker 8: producer now. But again, the people in the crowd aren't
- 43:55Speaker 8: pretending that everything's their mind's being blown. They're still enjoying.
- 43:58Speaker 1: But there the people who have some as music, like
- 44:01Speaker 1: some guy in the tucks with tails and he's got
- 44:03Speaker 1: a stick and he's there following his leave.
- 44:06Speaker 5: He is, Yeah, they know the music, they're reading the music.
- 44:11Speaker 10: They're looking playing the violin.
- 44:13Speaker 7: To see him what happens.
- 44:16Speaker 8: But they don't have ears. They can't hear the mix.
- 44:18Speaker 8: Though there's like when you would he when you when
- 44:20Speaker 8: you control the mix in on your board, you're you're
- 44:23Speaker 8: you have headphones on, you can hear it. The person
- 44:26Speaker 8: for the fourth oboe in the back can't hear the
- 44:28Speaker 8: whole mix, but they can feel it. No, that's what
- 44:30Speaker 8: the conductor's for. He's there to only to lift his
- 44:33Speaker 8: hand and.
- 44:35Speaker 7: He says, if you get lost, look at me. I
- 44:37Speaker 7: will tell you.
- 44:38Speaker 8: It's not about it's not about hitting the notes. It's
- 44:39Speaker 8: about volume and pace.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I mean I still argue that, I still argue that
- 44:46Speaker 1: I think the orchestra would sound just as good without,
- 44:49Speaker 1: you know, dopey, white haired dude yea doing the stick
- 44:54Speaker 1: and and and when people are applauding, like man, you
- 44:57Speaker 1: can keep facing the back of the stage. No, what
- 45:00Speaker 1: he's appotting for you. They're applotting for all the people
- 45:01Speaker 1: who just playing. Turn around and take a big bat.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 16: God, do you know how many people went to see
- 45:07Speaker 16: gustavolic Coachella last year? But gustavol Is he's a famous,
- 45:13Speaker 16: very famous conduction and he played Coachella last year and
- 45:16Speaker 16: it was the most packed set of both weekends.
- 45:19Speaker 10: Pretty well, because they're waiting for the be honest, Nicole,
- 45:23Speaker 10: they're waiting for the guest stars.
- 45:24Speaker 16: Like no, he played the Star Wars thing before Dave
- 45:27Speaker 16: Girl came.
- 45:28Speaker 10: Out and everybody lost waiting for people to guess it.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Also drugs throwing it out there, everybody all right on
- 45:35Speaker 1: the text over to two ninety seven and eight seven
- 45:37Speaker 1: seven forty four. What a job you just don't get,
- 45:41Speaker 1: like I don't understand, yeah yeah, or long list yeah.
- 45:45Speaker 5: And maybe you're right if I see it.
- 45:47Speaker 1: But I've been to the performances like at the iHeart
- 45:49Speaker 1: Festival or whatever when you're when you're sitting there watching it,
- 45:51Speaker 1: go to.
- 45:53Speaker 10: Be honest, to be fair, I don't think that's the
- 45:55Speaker 10: right vist setting a setting with that like justice, you know,
- 46:00Speaker 10: so I get craft for this, but they shouldn't have
- 46:01Speaker 10: been playing that festival one year.
- 46:04Speaker 1: So I need drugs. I need drugs and I need
- 46:08Speaker 1: to be in the right venue.
- 46:09Speaker 16: Yeah, or who white Claw Mango?
- 46:12Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 46:12Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I'm just throwing it out there.
- 46:16Speaker 5: Thank you to call this is.
- 46:23Speaker 16: All right.
- 46:24Speaker 5: We're talking about jobs that don't.
- 46:26Speaker 17: Get on and by I had something in h Most
- 46:32Speaker 17: overrated careers overrated overrated because some careers it sounds glamorous,
- 46:39Speaker 17: but then when you actually interview the people who do them,
- 46:41Speaker 17: you get a different story. Okay, so this is not
- 46:44Speaker 17: like we're saying, oh, Greg's pharmacist overrated, Yeah, or I'm
- 46:48Speaker 17: saying conductor of the orchestra.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Overrated or E d M. But DJ button Pusher, Yeah,
- 46:56Speaker 1: these are people who do the job. They go, dude,
- 46:58Speaker 1: it's not as cool as you think. The most overrated
- 47:01Speaker 1: careers AD executive. But who thought that was glamorous?
- 47:05Speaker 7: Well, like mad Men and stuff, it seems pretty cool.
- 47:07Speaker 1: Well, because you have Martinez.
- 47:10Speaker 10: I guess if you are like an executive. Yeah, I
- 47:12Speaker 10: guess if you're the spender. Yeah, it's fun. Okay, architect, Okay,
- 47:18Speaker 10: it does seem cool.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Oh god it I think that was boring, really, yeah,
- 47:22Speaker 1: because you're dealing with somebody spending a lot of money
- 47:24Speaker 1: and it's just changed, change, change. But when the.
- 47:27Speaker 11: Project is done and you sit back and go, yeah,
- 47:30Speaker 11: I was pretty cool.
- 47:31Speaker 10: I was driving through a garage of a mega structure
- 47:35Speaker 10: and I'm just like looking at all like the piping
- 47:38Speaker 10: and everything, and I'm like, yes, somebody had to design.
- 47:41Speaker 1: All that stuff. It's pretty awesome. Attorney, dude, that seems annoying.
- 47:48Speaker 10: My friend's attorney. He does not like it.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, be a be an attorney, be a doctor.
- 47:56Speaker 1: The most overrated careers according to the people who do them. Chef.
- 48:02Speaker 7: I mean, there's like a whole space for the sexy chef.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, but think about like for every one
- 48:08Speaker 1: of those Yeah, there's a billion dudes who are just
- 48:11Speaker 1: dealing with chopping onions. Yeah. Why do you think they
- 48:15Speaker 1: smoke so much? You're stressed, you know, and they're dealing
- 48:18Speaker 1: with idiots. Yeah, let's see chiropractor.
- 48:22Speaker 11: That'd be scary, I think, because yeah, I would not
- 48:26Speaker 11: want to crack people's.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Next clinical psychologist.
- 48:30Speaker 7: I was sick of hearing about people's.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Problems medical scientists. So I guess you're doing like medical research,
- 48:35Speaker 1: like you're in the labs. You got, yeah, the beakers
- 48:38Speaker 1: and stuff. Nonprofit manager, physician, police officer. Yeah. I used
- 48:47Speaker 1: to think that police officer will be kind of cool,
- 48:49Speaker 1: but not now there's there's just too much like Greg's
- 48:53Speaker 1: out there. There's too many anti yeah, sorry sentiment. Real
- 49:00Speaker 1: estate agent that would blow. I would love that. No,
- 49:04Speaker 1: I don't think you would.
- 49:05Speaker 11: I would love it if I had listings. I think
- 49:08Speaker 11: getting a listing is almost impossible.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Well, getting a list because every dope, you know, everybody's
- 49:13Speaker 1: a model, everybody's an influencer, everybody's a goddamn real estate
- 49:17Speaker 1: not wrong. The ones who were good, I mean they
- 49:20Speaker 1: get the exactly they kill it. So I want to
- 49:23Speaker 1: be one of those. But I also think it's like, man,
- 49:25Speaker 1: you're just driving people from place to place to place
- 49:28Speaker 1: to place. It's just such a long process. I think
- 49:30Speaker 1: from you know, driving someone around to close it, actually
- 49:34Speaker 1: you see anything from it.
- 49:35Speaker 7: It's the ratio of showing a house to selling a house.
- 49:38Speaker 11: But I'm just saying, like, in a perfect world, you're
- 49:40Speaker 11: successful at it. The subject matter never gets boring to me.
- 49:43Speaker 7: Yeah. And then that you always get that nice little
- 49:45Speaker 7: slice of percentage.
- 49:46Speaker 9: And getting to go inside people's.
- 49:47Speaker 7: Homes and judge that be a burglar.
- 49:51Speaker 11: Yeah, I love that.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Yeah. Overrated careers was the other one. Oh, small business owner.
- 49:59Speaker 7: H don't get a day off a paycheck because.
- 50:02Speaker 5: It's all on you, dude. Yeah, you know, it's all
- 50:04Speaker 5: your skin.
- 50:05Speaker 1: In the game.
- 50:05Speaker 7: Yeah, don't they say that, like the average business owner
- 50:07Speaker 7: doesn't get paid for like two.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Years something like that.
- 50:10Speaker 10: Yeah, there's always those memes. I quit my nine to
- 50:13Speaker 10: five to be independent and have my own business. Now
- 50:16Speaker 10: I work seven days, we make no money.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:19Speaker 5: And then teacher is on the list.
- 50:21Speaker 7: Yeah. No, everybody thinks it's easy. But do you want
- 50:24Speaker 7: to be around those thirty kids all day?
- 50:26Speaker 1: No? And I just saw I just saw something about
- 50:29Speaker 1: how all these teachers. There's a bunch of teachers now
- 50:31Speaker 1: that have second jobs and it's still like paycheck to
- 50:34Speaker 1: paycheck content horrible.
- 50:36Speaker 7: I don't get that's the whole glamorizing and like rebranding
- 50:39Speaker 7: of like the side hustle and the side gig. It's
- 50:42Speaker 7: like what happened is just the one job that you know,
- 50:46Speaker 7: you can't afford it, That's what I'm saying. And now
- 50:47Speaker 7: they've rebranded it like, hey, get yourself a side hustle.
- 50:50Speaker 11: I'm like, come on, that's not That's why people are
- 50:52Speaker 11: so nostalgic. You look back at the fifties and stuff,
- 50:55Speaker 11: and no matter what you did, yeah.
- 50:57Speaker 7: You work at the planet.
- 50:58Speaker 11: Yeah right, yeah, they're at a car.
- 51:00Speaker 1: There was a there's a thing I saw about how
- 51:04Speaker 1: now there's a lot of corporations, you know, they're hiring
- 51:07Speaker 1: people and they're getting rid of you know. Now it's
- 51:10Speaker 1: the gen xers who are getting phased out, you know,
- 51:13Speaker 1: because they start getting into their fifties and sixties and
- 51:16Speaker 1: they're making too much money. Until they bring in like
- 51:18Speaker 1: some twenty two year old with no experience for like
- 51:21Speaker 1: a nickel, right and pay them pretty much nothing. They're
- 51:24Speaker 1: happy to do it. But now they're getting rid of
- 51:27Speaker 1: those people because like they suck. Yeah right, nothing's getting done. Yeah, no,
- 51:32Speaker 1: nothing's getting because it's it's it's a difference of like
- 51:35Speaker 1: how everybody was kind of brought along, you know, like
- 51:38Speaker 1: the procrastination, like all these things that are and every
- 51:40Speaker 1: generation's got their things.
- 51:42Speaker 5: And this is not to rag on gen Zers.
- 51:44Speaker 1: But the majority seem to, you know, have came up
- 51:49Speaker 1: in a certain way, certain level of expectations, certain things
- 51:53Speaker 1: were acceptable, which maybe right, but they have this whole
- 51:56Speaker 1: idea that you know, they're going to get paid out
- 51:59Speaker 1: of the gate at a certain thing. So now companies
- 52:01Speaker 1: like you know what can't do it. And so even
- 52:03Speaker 1: though they're gonna end up paying somebody more, they're going
- 52:06Speaker 1: back and finding some of the gen zs and you're like,
- 52:08Speaker 1: we're just going to pay them good.
- 52:09Speaker 7: I mean, that's the company's faults, the.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Gen Xers or whoever that they let go in order
- 52:14Speaker 1: to make room for these.
- 52:15Speaker 7: Yeah, you get corners, absolutely no, you.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Get what you get what you pay for, and you'll
- 52:20Speaker 1: get experience like the gen Zers. But the problem was
- 52:22Speaker 1: they were getting rid of the experienced people's in positions
- 52:25Speaker 1: of like management or more senior level positions with almost
- 52:29Speaker 1: no experience, and they're just getting kind of put in
- 52:32Speaker 1: there because it saved money.
- 52:34Speaker 9: Yeah what they think was going to happen, right, Yeah,
- 52:36Speaker 9: there's no one there to train them, even if they're
- 52:37Speaker 9: capable people, who's going to show them how to do
- 52:39Speaker 9: everything right.
- 52:40Speaker 1: And then the only time that in life I think
- 52:42Speaker 1: that you can relate to your employeer are as opposed
- 52:45Speaker 1: to being the employee, is when you hire movers and
- 52:47Speaker 1: they're on their lunch break and you're like, wow, I'm
- 52:49Speaker 1: paying five guys to sit there.
- 52:51Speaker 10: Yeah, that's the only time you've true.
- 52:53Speaker 11: I can totally relate to my employer. Right now, I'm
- 52:55Speaker 11: paying these dudes to sit.
- 52:57Speaker 1: Around into another hour here for you. We got the
- 53:06Speaker 1: phones open eight seven seven forty four Wooding. You could
- 53:08Speaker 1: text two two nine eighty seven.
- 53:13Speaker 5: Morgan's got news.
- 53:15Speaker 7: Yes I do, and she's been full.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Of This has been a big news year.
- 53:19Speaker 8: Yeah, new cycle coming there with the news.
- 53:23Speaker 1: Is this a roommate situation? Yeah? I did hear there
- 53:26Speaker 1: were I did hear there was a an issue with water.
- 53:29Speaker 10: Yeah, the water issues.
- 53:30Speaker 4: Please tell me why the second I start living with
- 53:33Speaker 4: Tyler everything starts to break.
- 53:36Speaker 8: That makes sense best, Yeah, that's what said.
- 53:40Speaker 1: You did move, but you did move to a different unit. Yeah. Yeah,
- 53:44Speaker 1: so it's not the same one that you were in.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Right, But it's like first it was a shower and
- 53:48Speaker 4: now it's the sink in the kitchen.
- 53:49Speaker 1: You got a lemon.
- 53:50Speaker 12: We don't have a working sink anymore.
- 53:51Speaker 5: And a bad apartment.
- 53:53Speaker 12: Yeah, not roommate news. But I have other news.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that other news.
- 53:58Speaker 12: I'm busting at the seam.
- 54:00Speaker 10: God.
- 54:01Speaker 4: I got a call yesterday from the matchmaker for the
- 54:04Speaker 4: boxing fight in Philly, and she was like, Hey, I
- 54:07Speaker 4: need you to take down all of your boxing videos
- 54:10Speaker 4: on Instagram because we're trying to get this girl to
- 54:12Speaker 4: accept this fight with you, and she wants an easy
- 54:15Speaker 4: fight and if she sees that, she's gonna say no.
- 54:19Speaker 7: Yeah, that's how I indated.
- 54:22Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, I can do that, and they're like,
- 54:25Speaker 4: all right, we'll let you know in a couple of
- 54:26Speaker 4: days when she decides.
- 54:28Speaker 12: Got a call last night. I'm fighting Philly, so hold on.
- 54:36Speaker 12: So when is it April twenty fifth in Philia? What's
- 54:40Speaker 12: it called?
- 54:40Speaker 4: Hurrahs Am I saying that right? Para's I don't know,
- 54:49Speaker 4: Harris see the logo times.
- 54:52Speaker 7: I definitely.
- 54:58Speaker 1: Maybe after the fight we get stop Chateau Lablan.
- 55:01Speaker 12: For some burgers, it's more woo, you know.
- 55:03Speaker 8: I want to say, what's who you? Whom your opponent
- 55:05Speaker 8: shall be, or who I.
- 55:07Speaker 4: Can but even though she's accepted, I'm nervous that she's
- 55:11Speaker 4: gonna bail, right.
- 55:12Speaker 12: So I can show you guys who she is.
- 55:14Speaker 4: But word on the street is she's been offered a
- 55:16Speaker 4: lot of fights and she's really picky. And she said, quote,
- 55:19Speaker 4: I want an easy fight.
- 55:20Speaker 7: Oh girl, so.
- 55:22Speaker 4: So bad or in the face. I'm freaking out. So
- 55:26Speaker 4: now I need to decide, like I need to get
- 55:28Speaker 4: a fight kit. I have a guy that's gonna make it.
- 55:30Speaker 4: So we need to come up with a design with
- 55:31Speaker 4: the Woody Show on it. Oohause I got to get
- 55:34Speaker 4: that sent out fast uniform Yeah.
- 55:38Speaker 12: Like a sports sprawl and like sulky box.
- 55:40Speaker 7: What about a cape or like a robe?
- 55:42Speaker 12: Yeah, they do that for the walkout.
- 55:43Speaker 7: I don't know, you know you need it.
- 55:45Speaker 11: Let me do some approval from anybody, well, like you
- 55:48Speaker 11: would be allowed to put wood Show stuff on there
- 55:51Speaker 11: like that. They don't need to be you know, anybody
- 55:52Speaker 11: from there.
- 55:53Speaker 4: I mean you guys said you'd sponsor it, So that's
- 55:56Speaker 4: what I'm hoping, because usually you put your sponsors on
- 55:58Speaker 4: your Hell yeah.
- 55:59Speaker 11: Girl, that makes sense.
- 56:01Speaker 1: So how how far advanced do you need to go?
- 56:04Speaker 12: I don't know. I need to talk to him about that.
- 56:06Speaker 4: Okay, but I need to like get the measurements and
- 56:09Speaker 4: the design since of the fight kit.
- 56:11Speaker 12: Guy, No, I need to do all this other testing
- 56:14Speaker 12: stuff they're putting together flyers.
- 56:17Speaker 4: Yeah, we're going right.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:23Speaker 12: And they asked me too, They're like, how many people
- 56:24Speaker 12: do you want in your corner?
- 56:25Speaker 1: So this can be your cut.
- 56:28Speaker 10: Guy, Yeah, my cut man.
- 56:30Speaker 7: Yeah, you need a cut man.
- 56:31Speaker 4: Well, I will say though, the boxing gloves. Since this
- 56:34Speaker 4: is a debut fight, it's no head gear, which I'm
- 56:36Speaker 4: happy about that because a lot of times you have
- 56:37Speaker 4: to wear head gear for your first fight. But no headgear. However,
- 56:41Speaker 4: the glove size is twenty ounces.
- 56:43Speaker 7: The gloves are made of cut and candy.
- 56:44Speaker 12: It's gonna be like these big clown gloves.
- 56:47Speaker 8: That's bad.
- 56:48Speaker 12: So I mean we'll be lucky.
- 56:49Speaker 1: He's pretty clos yeah. So then as you lock up
- 56:56Speaker 1: before the ref comes over to break you guys up,
- 56:58Speaker 1: you go let's just make out.
- 56:59Speaker 12: Yeah yeah, then I mean the people.
- 57:04Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 57:05Speaker 12: Just great news to I get a cut of my
- 57:09Speaker 12: pay per view sales.
- 57:12Speaker 1: To make money paid for the fight.
- 57:14Speaker 12: No, like I thought I was just doing this for free.
- 57:16Speaker 12: You pay your way out there.
- 57:17Speaker 4: It's just an opportunity, right, But yesterday on the phone
- 57:21Speaker 4: they said, I'll have a specific link and you don't stay.
- 57:24Speaker 1: At Harris right, say it right?
- 57:27Speaker 10: Some some are really nice.
- 57:30Speaker 8: Yeah, I know, I don't care where now I'm thinking, like,
- 57:34Speaker 8: you know, because again, who's show hands?
- 57:36Speaker 1: Who's going I want to go?
- 57:38Speaker 7: I would go.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I don't want to fly.
- 57:43Speaker 11: Across cut It's a long flight.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I've never been to Philly. Since this is how you
- 57:51Speaker 1: know who your friends are.
- 57:52Speaker 4: You'll get me a pay per view the wows where
- 57:56Speaker 4: Rocky was filmed, got.
- 57:59Speaker 7: To do the steps.
- 58:00Speaker 12: I'm freaking out.
- 58:02Speaker 8: Do you need to do away? And is there a
- 58:05Speaker 8: weight class?
- 58:06Speaker 12: Yes? And okay.
- 58:07Speaker 4: So when they first reached out to me, the weight
- 58:09Speaker 4: class was one fifty to one fifty five.
- 58:11Speaker 8: Dann girl, I know, no.
- 58:15Speaker 12: He's right.
- 58:15Speaker 4: I want to fight lower than that because then I'll
- 58:17Speaker 4: get a smaller bitch, right, and I'm taller, So that's
- 58:20Speaker 4: that's part of the game of weights, right, right, So.
- 58:23Speaker 12: One five I'm not really gonna have to cut much.
- 58:25Speaker 4: But then yesterday when she called me, she said it's
- 58:27Speaker 4: going to be one fifty to one sixty. So I'm like,
- 58:29Speaker 4: oh girl, gain and weight like oh, she's got big boobs,
- 58:33Speaker 4: but nice on you right now? I'm one sixty four, okay.
- 58:38Speaker 12: So easy cut?
- 58:39Speaker 1: Why do I think one sixty would be bigger? I see,
- 58:41Speaker 1: I can't. I'm all terrible man the carnival, Yeah, had
- 58:46Speaker 1: he guess people's weight on sixties very normally?
- 58:49Speaker 12: I woul love to fight at one forty five.
- 58:51Speaker 1: I would have said, like you like how much? Like
- 58:53Speaker 1: how much do I think? Morgan ways? But now that
- 58:55Speaker 1: you told us it's making it, I would I would
- 58:57Speaker 1: have said, like, I don't know, like one twenty five,
- 59:00Speaker 1: I wish.
- 59:02Speaker 5: Birds.
- 59:03Speaker 11: I don't know, okay, don't laugh. I know nothing about boxing.
- 59:09Speaker 11: What is a cut guy?
- 59:11Speaker 12: Cutman?
- 59:12Speaker 4: So after the end of each round you go to
- 59:14Speaker 4: your corner and stuff on your cut?
- 59:17Speaker 7: Yeah, well you know they sometimes if you're too swollen, they.
- 59:19Speaker 12: Got to cut you or vaciline so that they treat.
- 59:22Speaker 7: Your gas right and that cold metal press thing to
- 59:26Speaker 7: get water in your mouth.
- 59:27Speaker 8: Yeah, okay, your corner guy.
- 59:29Speaker 12: You don't want to do that for me, Greg, that
- 59:30Speaker 12: would be pretty fun.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I would sweating.
- 59:36Speaker 7: I wouldn't want to see you get hit, but I'll
- 59:38Speaker 7: do it.
- 59:38Speaker 12: Oh, I can't. There's something wrong with me. Because I
- 59:41Speaker 12: love getting I have a question for you.
- 59:43Speaker 9: Why were you excited that there's no head gear?
- 59:46Speaker 12: I guess I don't know the difference.
- 59:48Speaker 1: She wants to feel that feels like real boxing.
- 59:50Speaker 12: Yeah, I would feel like a loser going out there
- 59:52Speaker 12: with like that's sparring.
- 59:53Speaker 1: To me, it'd be like, Fox, are you gonna have
- 59:59Speaker 1: to officially like this is officially sanctioned by Athletic Commission?
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: You got to sign up, dude, Like blood tests.
- 1:00:03Speaker 12: So stuff, as far as I'm aware.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Yeah, So no juice, Yeah, no juice in what else? Yeah,
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: there's going to be a press conference? And why a
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: girl that called me yesterday? We've already got things to
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: talk about.
- 1:00:14Speaker 12: I've got you know.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Oh so you're not in contact with I'm sorry?
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: What use your afraid? You're the bit you're fighting?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:00:21Speaker 12: No?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: No?
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: Is she again not saying who she is? But does
- 1:00:25Speaker 8: she make appearance? It's on the Zeus network at all?
- 1:00:29Speaker 12: Not so aware of the footage.
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: Is that the same person the footage you showed me?
- 1:00:33Speaker 12: Yes?
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: She might yes, because the headliner this this is a
- 1:00:36Speaker 8: lady who's been on the Zeus network, which folks don't know.
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: Is this this like paper. Well, it's it's its own
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: streaming service.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: Rules is the.
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: Hull of the old bad girls club shows aka girls
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: get drunk and fight at clubs shows and so yeah,
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: ratchet stuff. She's the headliner and it seems like all
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: the other associated people were Zeus related.
- 1:00:54Speaker 10: Yeah, I love it.
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: This is your other sisters on the car.
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: We have to work on, like your persona, your nickname.
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: Oh that's another thing they asked me yesterday, like what's
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: your nickname?
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: The beak? The more dare you. You're the one that
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: said You're the one that said you told us you
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: have a goal, you want to get a nose job.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: You're doing all these what will Morgan do for money things?
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Collecting cans and bottles, You're doing all these things.

- 1:01:30Speaker 7: Look, I think we start as the Morgue. I think

- 1:01:54Speaker 4: which is hilarious.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: So you could be that bitch, Morgan. Dad, I'm that
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: bitch that.
- 1:01:59Speaker 12: I might be the only white girl in this fight.

- 1:02:12Speaker 8: turn out you're you're going around, and if you're ahead,
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: do you then play with her?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: Screw screw around?
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: Show about a little bit.
- 1:02:20Speaker 12: Oh yeah, I mean talking trash.
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: It's because it's entertainment, right, yeah, Like I am there
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: to win and compete, but it's also entertaining.
- 1:02:28Speaker 10: The manslaughter, Morgan, that's good. Did you accidentally kill people?
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Let me don't drink April April twenty.

- 1:02:57Speaker 12: It's good, it's good, coming up quick you guys.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I was just happy to hear that it's not happening,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: you know, the weekend leading up to the takeover, because
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: that'd be tough, that'd be harder.
- 1:03:07Speaker 12: I'm gonna change things for sure. Everything's I'm totally coming together.
- 1:03:10Speaker 7: Okay, Yeah, you guys are gonna.

- 1:03:21Speaker 8: This is the type of event that we would go
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: to to cover.
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: That's exactly two reasons to be there.
- 1:03:27Speaker 12: I love it and to support me thinks of course.
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: And and like we can all dress the way you
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: want us to, Like, we'll do whatever you want.

- 1:03:38Speaker 7: There's already Mayhem Miller.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: Yes, and in your suggestions. So we're saying victory, it's
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: a no go for that. Well, even though that's been
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: my thing.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Fine, I just don't, Yeah, I just don't.
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: It doesn't pop because people don't know the reference.
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: Yeah, oh that's her name.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: Okay, cool, Well, congratulations, thank you guys. Yeah, you get

- 1:04:06Speaker 7: I will Oh, I like this one white girl kill it.
- 1:04:10Speaker 12: Oh that could be.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I gotta give you a big and be ironic. See,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: because she's the only white girl.
- 1:04:16Speaker 12: I could be. I could be.
- 1:04:18Speaker 11: I don't forget us when you're making stacks of cash
- 1:04:20Speaker 11: that you're taking pictures of.
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: Yeah, right, rolling around.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Yeah, forget us. Don't listen to Greg anymore. He's not
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: a real friend. Yeah, he's not going.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: You can forget me, you Margaret, Well, do you want
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: to do? You want to do one of our rounds
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: of can you get back through?
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Yeah? I like the way that we did it last
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: time too. Over the last time we had a question, Yeah,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: the same question. U huh. Yeah. So everybody who calls in,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you got to give us one of your answers, you know.
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: So here's here's how it works.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: You call it right now. Eight seven seven forty four.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: That's eight seven seven forty We get a person, their
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: job is to try to get back through.
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: We're going to talk to them.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Morgan's giving them a super secret pass code so we
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: can verify that it's them if they do get back through.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Everybody else who's listening your job is to call in
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: and keep that person from getting back through, clog up
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: the lines. Yeah. Now, if the person gets back through
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: in the allotted time, then they win the prize. If
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: they don't get back through when the time is up,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: whoever happens to be on the phone with us at
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: that moment, they're going to win the prize.
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: Perfect.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: So can you get back through? And we're talking about
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: how Morgan just got her first official sanctioned fight. Yes,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: she's going to be fighting, like for real, for reals fight,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: and so she's all excited about that. This has been
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: a bucket list thing for her. She's been that she
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: set out at the beginning of the year, she said,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: this is something kind of like a Sea Bass saying
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: he wants to be married by the end of the year.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Everybody's got goals for something that maybe you want to accomplish.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: So we we thought this would be a good question
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: everybody when you call in. The question that everybody is
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: going to answer is what's one thing on your bucket
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: list of things to do this year? Doesn't have to
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: be something grand, yeah, but just something like this, I'm
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: doing this this year.
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: How to check this off the list?
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Yeah, this is this is the year. What's one thing
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: on your bucket list of things to do this year?
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: Eight seven seven forty four. Woody is the phone number,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: that's eight seven seven forty four. Let's talk to Hugo.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: What's up, Hugo? You go, Good morning show. Okay, we're
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: looking for Hugo. He's our guy making a note here
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: stand by. Okay, now, did Morgan give you the password?
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: She did?
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Okay A Hammer Yeah, no, that's her.
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: That's her name for the box.
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: Oh okay, I have the password. That's not it.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: You guys know the password? Yeah, I know what is
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: the password?
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: We'll tell you later.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: We're not going to tell you, okay, I I kind
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: of need to know, right.
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: Hugo knows it.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: We get the password.
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: We were talking about it.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Oh you are okay, we just came up with it. Yeah, okay,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: all right, so you have you have the password? It's
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: not Hammer guy, Yeah no, no, okay, all right. So
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: now Hugo, you're gonna have five minutes to call back
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: in and get through everybody else who's listening to the
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Blee Show right now. Okay, everybody, eight seven seven forty four,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: just keep calling. If it's busy. You keep calling as
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: if you're trying to get back through like Hugo is.
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: Yeah, because if you're the last one, you get the
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: prize direct.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Well we'll set you up. Okay, So Hugo, let me
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: ask you the question. What's one thing on your bucket
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: list of things to do this year? Do you have
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: to say something this year to get some goal for
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: yourself this year?
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: I'm gonna go do this or yeah, get this done,

- 1:15:29Speaker 11: is so high, So why am I paying all this interest?
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: But because Greg doesn't want to write the jack. I
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: don't hate.
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: Spending, or you can just spend a little bit more
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: incoming Fiji.
- 1:15:39Speaker 10: I would love to buy a Ferrari, but be realistic too, Yeah,
- 1:15:45Speaker 10: I would probably. I'm trying to go to eight Speaking
- 1:15:48Speaker 10: of races, I'm trying to go to eight F one
- 1:15:50Speaker 10: races this year.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Eight.
- 1:15:52Speaker 10: Yeah, I think I got it all worked out, Sammy.
- 1:15:55Speaker 12: I really want to go to.
- 1:15:57Speaker 9: Either Paris or Tokyo because Steamoat really is always going
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: and I'm always invited, but I have to work and
- 1:16:02Speaker 9: I want to somehow work it out to be able
- 1:16:04Speaker 9: to go, because then I can go to gaziliand at
- 1:16:06Speaker 9: whichever place I end up being able to go to
- 1:16:08Speaker 9: r Yeah.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Mine, And this this one was just kind of, uh,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: you know, solidified in my mind here more recently. Remember
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I told you there was that place in Vegas where
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: you can do like dog fighting, Oh yeah, air combat, Acela.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: So I want to do like with with a couple
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: of homies, where go to Vegas and we go to
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: that place where you can you know, dig holes in
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: the earth with the excavators tractors.
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: It's called dig this.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Yes, okay, yeah, so dig this that's maybe on one
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: day or even maybe later on that day. Then you
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: go over it and you do the dog fighting.
- 1:16:45Speaker 7: Yeah, this is the testosterone weekend weekend.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, like uh you know little boy dream yes exactly,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: little boy dreams to grown man realization.
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: Yeah, so that I want. I want to Yeah, I
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: want I want to do that this year that's on.
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: And oh it's so whimsical. I have to wear like
- 1:17:03Speaker 7: three diapers if I did.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: That dog fight so good, right, and be on so
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: many drugs. Yeah right, Well, congratulations and hey, thank you
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: everybody who uh who participated in Sorry Hugo, Yeah, thanks
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: sas dude. All right, more Woody shows next, hang on
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: go late seven seven forty four. Woody.
- 1:17:20Speaker 14: You know I'm not lading my mother name, oh my
- 1:17:23Speaker 14: telephone number, Gas stam Bone with.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Joel Woodie Show.
- 1:17:33Speaker 18: It's what's up with What's going in SoCal Sports with
- 1:17:39Speaker 18: Jeff g Jeff Goosey and we are checking in with
- 1:17:43Speaker 18: Jeff Gig.
- 1:17:44Speaker 15: Morning, what's going on in good morning, Woody Show, let's
- 1:17:46Speaker 15: goad and start with the Lakers.
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: They've won three in a row.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Rakers all take it. Here's a ton one.
- 1:17:54Speaker 15: Lebron twenty one, Luca twenty seven, and DeAndre Aiden actually
- 1:17:57Speaker 15: showed up last.
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: Night with thirteen and eight.
- 1:18:00Speaker 15: A real test for the Lakers. Tomorrow they played the
- 1:18:02Speaker 15: Denver Nuggets in Denver. We'll see how they do there.
- 1:18:05Speaker 15: Clippers host to Pacers tonight at into It Dome.
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: College Hoops.
- 1:18:10Speaker 15: Ucla making its case for the March Badness Tournament.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Another Top ten humbles here at Holly Pavilion, the third win.
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: Over a Top ten team this season for UCLA.
- 1:18:22Speaker 15: It's been a weird season for UCLA Jackelin Hide, but
- 1:18:25Speaker 15: last night they showed out.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: They beat number nine Nebraska by twenty points.
- 1:18:29Speaker 15: Shifting over to baseball, Dodgers and Angels both won their
- 1:18:32Speaker 15: spring training games yesterday, and the World Baseball Classic kicks
- 1:18:35Speaker 15: off today with Chinese Taipei VERSUS Australia at seven pm. USA,
- 1:18:41Speaker 15: Mexico and Japan don't play until Friday.
- 1:18:43Speaker 10: Hockey Ducks lost of the Abs last night.
- 1:18:46Speaker 15: Ducks and Islanders tonight at the Honda Center, and finally
- 1:18:49Speaker 15: this morning, Rams receiver Pukinakua is having himself a legendary offseason.
- 1:18:55Speaker 15: He's been spotted in public with multiple models, actresses, and
- 1:18:59Speaker 15: in influencers, including Sydney Sweeney, Hannah Stocking, w w E
- 1:19:05Speaker 15: star Charlotte Flair, influencer Sarah Safari, and influencer over Time.
- 1:19:09Speaker 15: Megan Dude definitely wins the m v P of off season,
- 1:19:12Speaker 15: but my advice to him, don't wife anybody up. Just
- 1:19:15Speaker 15: enjoy being single and playing for the l A RAMS.
- 1:19:18Speaker 15: I'm JEFFG and that's your SoCal sports Jeff.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: I consistently set the standards excellence on everything. I supported
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: a colleague's growth by sharing feedback and mentoring them informally
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: contributing to our value of learning and developmental. You are
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: a hero.
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: So Greg wants to support Morgan and go to her
- 1:19:44Speaker 5: her dream.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: She won't be. He won't be in attendance to her dream. Yeah,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: because he's a free to flying. Oh, how does it
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: he's a free anyway?
- 1:19:57Speaker 13: Uh?
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: People were asked about flying and they're afraid of flying.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Normal by the numbers, seventy three percent of people think
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: airline travel is generally safe, but they admit to being
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: at least a little nervous about it. How can you
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: not be? It's eleven to eleven percent think that flying
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: isn't safe at all. Eighteen percent have either canceled or
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: delayed travel plans due to their fear of flying. Twenty
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: percent have opted to take a different form of transportation
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: to the destination altogether. I've considered it as far if
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Travis Barker can get back on a plane, you can
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: get on a plane.
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: That's a good that's true.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Travis Barker do. As far as how people calm their fears,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: eleven percent drink yep and nine percent prescription meds like Xanax.
- 1:20:44Speaker 11: That's that I found the perfect mix. Oh last time
- 1:20:47Speaker 11: we all flew together. Yeah, it with two beers and
- 1:20:50Speaker 11: the Xanax and it was great.
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: I'd be in a gurney. I like better than oh
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: really ooh nowhere, Connie Connie.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Forty percent use music, movies, games, books as a distraction. Yeah,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: and then a twelve percent meditate, Greg have you tried that? Oh,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: meditate before the fly standing there or just get lost.
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: In the NonStop entertainment that is traveling.
- 1:21:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:21:16Speaker 11: Yeah, That's what I don't get when people say I
- 1:21:18Speaker 11: like traveling because when you're at an airport and there's
- 1:21:20Speaker 11: delays and it's a hassle, you like doing.
- 1:21:23Speaker 7: Well, what do you see if this rings true for you?
- 1:21:26Speaker 7: Because before I had a kid in my life, I
- 1:21:28Speaker 7: didn't get this at all. But I have lots of
- 1:21:30Speaker 7: friends now that say when they can travel alone in
- 1:21:33Speaker 7: a plane, like without their kids, they already feel like
- 1:21:35Speaker 7: they're on vacation.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Oh yeah, like you can feel like you're a spot.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Think about how you and Andy feel and he's not
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: a baby the but like when you guys just go
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: to dinner by yourself.
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: Oh, let me think about that, it's little like a vacation.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Now, I'll take that to you're getting on a plane.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: You're going somewhere, dude. There was a there was a
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Frontier Airlines flight on its way to Denver, and this
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: chick starts screaming at the crew. They're they're they're landing,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: and she's screaming at the crist of the video that's online,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: it picks up after the plane is landed and the
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: woman is walking off and she rips into the crew.
- 1:22:15Speaker 7: Out of my way, everybody, out of my life, out
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: exit stay And she doesn't even know how to open
- 1:22:26Speaker 7: the exit door. Hello, Hello, Hello, I think.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: No, no, no, that.
- 1:22:38Speaker 7: Makes I walk off and then you do, so she
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: knows the order.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: So the video is just getting a lot of people
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: checking it out. But the you know, the people commenting
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: the flight of ten and simply don't get paid enough
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: for having a deal with people like that or having
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: to receet Greg when he freaks out right.
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: And don't don't they start hitting. They don't start getting
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: paid until the doors closed, So all that nonsense. What
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: happens as you're going in. They're not even getting paid
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: for that.
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: I don't know if this woman was arrested or consequence
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: or whatever.
- 1:23:10Speaker 8: We always say that, and then we always hear about
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: you know, there's no fly lists or essentially don't exist.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: And they're super temporary.
- 1:23:17Speaker 16: Say there's a possibility of Woody hemorrhoids being back.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Development, and give you the latest updates one.
- 1:23:25Speaker 18: Available now more of the Woody Show.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: I'll we got the Crossroads coming up for you this hour.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: There's some spring cleaning for you, all right. Well, I
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: mean every day there's somebody who will complain about something,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: most things big small, making small things big, big things small.
- 1:23:50Speaker 11: Yeah, you know it's just throwing around words like it's
- 1:23:54Speaker 11: educating better better.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, anyway, how about how about this one. Let
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: me let me set the table so you have the
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: context of this. We were talking about this newspaper in
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: Ohio and they posted a job for a reporter, right,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: But the reporter job just consisted of taking facts from
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: you know, whatever was gathered, feeding it into their AI
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: whenever they're using and then the AI would generate the article.
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: And that's what we get published in their newspaper.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Okay, and the and they do disclose that it's it's
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: AI generated in the art, that the article itself is
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: AI generated. Anyway, So they posted for the job, and
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: this fresh out of college journalism student turned the job
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: down right and said, I'm not going to be a
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: part but okay, fine, But I said, hey man, this
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: is this is where it's going whether you whether you
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: like it or not, this is where it's going. Like
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: and I I just appreciate the fact that they're taking things.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: It's like they're taking the elements of the story, the facts,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: the names, the whatever, and they're saying, hey, constructs. At
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: least a lot of times, I don't even think people
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: are doing that because now what what what is considered
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: news are basically just editorials. Like you watch the news,
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: it's just a bunch of talking heads talking about it's
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: not true reporting. It does exist, like actual journalism still
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: does exist. I would argue this might even give us
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: better news. I know it's going to sound counterintuitive, but
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: think about how AI now summarizes zoom meetings now summarizes
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: email chains, and it just it just gives you the facts. Now,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: you argue, people argue, well, the humans programmed AI so
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: are built in biases are in the AI. Okay, sure
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: to a certain extent. But if if you know, if
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: you're wearing let's say, a pair of metaglasses and you're
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: at a protest or a news story, and that thing's
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: recording everything and it gives you a one page summary
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: at the end, how is that not going to be fat?
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: You see, I keep getting ads for it. There's like
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: this pen.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: I mean, you can use it to write, but it's
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: also you bring into a meeting and you just say
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: on the on the table in its track of everything
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: that's said, who said it? And at the end of
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: the meeting you basically hit stop and it sends you
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: a report about what happened to the meeting, the actionable.
- 1:26:10Speaker 11: Things, the highlights send your pen to the meeting, and.
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: That's what I was thinking.
- 1:26:16Speaker 10: There's all another version that sticks on the back of
- 1:26:19Speaker 10: your iPhone does the same thing.
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Yeah, So anyway, I thought that was a pretty that
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: was pretty interesting instead of sitting there taking notes or
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: if you're going to you know, college, Not that I
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: went to college, but I see it in movies where
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: people go to class and they're taking all these notes,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: you know, and that way, it's like, oh, just summarize
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: what was talked about in class, the insight and the
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: maybe perspective on all those events. That's up to you
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: as the human to do. Right, that's the editorializing, but
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: the facts. So that that sets us up for what
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: this email is all about. Now, this is a guy,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: his names Alex, and he sends us emails all the time.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: He took your shoe with.
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: Greg at one point over Greg's review of the flashlight.
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: Thinking made a bad gay a bad gay?
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: You're a bad gay. It's because flashlights are you know,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: imitate women, right and so subject. So this fun guy
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: subject no, not old school journalism. When discussing the new AI.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Quote reporter at a newspaper in Ohio what he stated,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: I understand the old school journalism people, I said, yeah,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: I understand the old school journal not liking this, like
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: we we have to hear from the old school radio people.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: These old dudes never who were in radio in the
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: old days and they remember how it used to be.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: I'm like, well it's different.
- 1:27:34Speaker 10: Now, right, still work here somehow?
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: Uh No, woody, you stupid moron. That is not old
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: school journalism. That is real journalism. Only journalism that is
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: written by humans is journalism. Journalism from the new school
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: journalism people quote unquote who believe that feeding facts into
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: an AI and having that AI write an article for them,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: those people are neither journalists nor writers. Gathering facts and
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: feeding them to an AI is not writing, and that
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: does not make a person a writer or a journalist.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: The future is not quote this kind of stuff, as
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: you say, because people who are not stupid and brainwashed
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: by AI will not tolerate or read fake AI written
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: journalism and literature. Only the un in, only the unintellectual
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: dumb enough to be brainwashed by AI like you and menace,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: will read that.
- 1:28:24Speaker 10: Yeah, love it.
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: We are not old school writers. We are real writers.
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: People like you, dumb enough to be brainwashed by AI,
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: will be taken over by the AI establishment and be
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: part of the dumbing down of man. People like me, Yeah,
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: who are not dumb enough to fall for their propaganda
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: and smart enough to see past them, will continue to
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: be human. Use our human brain and ensure our species
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: survives while amassing our human intelligence, saving human powered and
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: human driven counterculture. The genie is out of the bottle.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: The genie has always been led out of the bottle
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: all throughout human history. Not go to war with the genie.
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: You go to the war with people who are followers
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: of the genie, people like you. Uh wait, people like
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: you are whom my people will be going to war
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: with in the future. A massive global counterculture is slowly brewing.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: The stupid always win in the beginning, the smart eventually
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: win in the end. Enjoy your budgeting, unchecked, burgeoning, burgeoning, unchecked.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: See we needed AI for the Enjoy your burgeoning, unchecked,
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: and unchallenged AI age will not last forever. War is
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: coming and the dust is what you will be settled
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: under while we piss on you.
- 1:29:38Speaker 7: Oh my god, so poetic. It's really just really pains
- 1:29:43Speaker 7: the word.
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: Just an example, just the example of some of the
- 1:29:45Speaker 8: stuff they roll through. This is what the matrix matrix
- 1:29:49Speaker 8: was talking about. There will be some people that are
- 1:29:50Speaker 8: on the side of the want to run. I don't
- 1:29:54Speaker 8: care to anybody.
- 1:29:55Speaker 11: I want to summarize that in AI while using my
- 1:29:57Speaker 11: flesh light.
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: I'm talking this in one hand.
- 1:30:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: I mean it was really beautifully written.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: I mean I had at least alex Is still I
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: could show you there were I did have to like
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: clean it up a bit because it was like, geez,
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: so angry. Didn't put them in the paragraph, didn't put
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: him in. It was just like one long, continuous AI.
- 1:30:17Speaker 7: They would have formatted it correctly.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: Correct So it made it the tough read because it
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: was just one. You already get those like text messages
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: that are like a CVS receiver.
- 1:30:25Speaker 12: Yeah, I do that.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: Well, you see that should have been a conversation.
- 1:30:28Speaker 8: A long screen is always a sign of someone who's
- 1:30:30Speaker 8: got their act together.
- 1:30:31Speaker 10: Yeah, all those guys are always calm.
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, so I mean, because there's really not you know,
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: newspapers and magazines the way theyre used to be. So
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: the psychos do something different now with their letters, they said,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: because they used to cut out letters and things from
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: the newspapers and teams them together to make sense that
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: you would see that in movies and stuff. I did
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: get a crazy letter like that one time when I
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: was working in New York from some psycho and the
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: NYPD took it really yeah, because they knew.
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: The guy and keep it.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: And so it was party. So you got the cut
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: up thing. Yeah, whoa. And this dude was like threatening.
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: This dude was threatening me, and so someone's like, yeah,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: you should probably let HR know. HR is like, yeah,
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: we should probably let the NYPD know, and I go okay,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: And so NYPD came by, took my report, met with me,
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: and then called me like a few days later, going, uh,
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: we're very much aware of this guy. Oh so he was.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: He was a guy who was already on the ethereal Yeah,
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: he was already on the on the radar.
- 1:31:32Speaker 11: What on earth could you have said, well, merit cut
- 1:31:35Speaker 11: up if you.
- 1:31:36Speaker 12: Would have never sold his socks to him.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: At the time I was, I wasn't even doing something
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: like this. He was literally I was a music DJ,
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: so you set somebody on. I was telling people to
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: use their night. It was ninety two to three. Yeah,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: use your ninety two free card for a chance to
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: win tickets to see whatever. And then that was it.
- 1:31:54Speaker 10: Yeah, but we've had people show up to the station
- 1:31:56Speaker 10: saying that the music is speaking to them.
- 1:31:59Speaker 8: Yeah, they were.
- 1:31:59Speaker 12: Told the radio.
- 1:32:00Speaker 9: Some people who are like schizophrenic, they really think that
- 1:32:03Speaker 9: you're talking to them.
- 1:32:04Speaker 5: But he went through it. He cut out the letters and.
- 1:32:08Speaker 7: Like scrapbooking cheat.
- 1:32:10Speaker 12: What was the threat?
- 1:32:12Speaker 5: He was threatening me? Physical harm?
- 1:32:14Speaker 7: Oh no, Yeah, did they catch them? Did they update
- 1:32:17Speaker 7: you on?
- 1:32:17Speaker 5: I never heard anything and here I am so it
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: obviously where did you live?
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:32:23Speaker 5: Spoiler alert.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we do have some other people they have sent
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: in their criticisms or you know, whatever they're they're taking
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: issue with from different things on the show. It's the
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: WOODI show Crossroads, which is good spring cleaning. You also
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: want to like, uh, cut these people out of your
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: life that are you know, it's bad. It's yeah, it's
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: it's just bad. It's it's a bad relationship.
- 1:32:50Speaker 7: Yeah, nobody wins, right, it's.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: Toxic for them, it's toxic for you. So you just
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: agree to go your separate ways and we'll be just
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: be like like a person taking a fresh dump just
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: so much lighter.
- 1:33:00Speaker 7: Hey, what do you call a big jack lantern? What
- 1:33:03Speaker 7: a plumpkin? What way a millennial? In instagrams, the lizards
- 1:33:12Speaker 7: get a girlfriend?
- 1:33:13Speaker 11: Fine, he had a reptile dysfunctions.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: Show letters, We get your letters, We get your letters
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: free day. What was that from? Was that from letterman?
- 1:33:26Speaker 6: Or?
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: I think so? Yeah?
- 1:33:27Speaker 5: Mail call got letters?
- 1:33:29Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Letters? Yeah.
- 1:33:31Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: We give you all the different ways you can to
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: be part of the show, calling in, texting, and sending
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: us email email wi show dot com. There's another thing
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: that when people are mad at us or they want
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: to complain about something, they don't want to go directly
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: to us. They go to the radio station website. They
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: click that contact us you know, I think that's on
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: there station feedback and it goes to you know, the
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: program director and I don't know who else, but other
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: people on the on the programming team, including there's a
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: lot of times it's like, you know, people asking about
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: a prize they want, or requesting a song or you know,
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: a question for something on you know, the air anyway.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: So those are the ones. Those are the station feedback ones.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: Otherwise these are all from sent to what do you
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: show email? I believe today, Yeah, a couple of station
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: feedback couple, what do you show email? These are the
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: people they're so mad, they've written in and it's always
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: kind of fun to see what people are complaining about
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: in the crossroads, cutting people loose, get rid of that
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: dead way, all right. Well they work quick on this one.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: But I guess you kind of had to figure it was.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: It was coming sent to what do you show email?
- 1:34:48Speaker 5: From James B.
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: Regarding subject soy boy, gory, boy boy gory. I love it.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: It's like this is for Greg. I am a firefighter.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: I've been one for almost ten years. Do you do
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: you want to say like you know what you said? Yeah,
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: I don't want to like, uh, let me guess, James
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: totally like you guys overlooked the caveats. But you said
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: that if you're a firefighter and you're in charge of
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: being the guy outside a burning house and you're holding
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: the hose, all right, then I'm kind of a firefighter
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: when I water my plant.
- 1:35:31Speaker 10: Oh I didn't get that at all. I thought you
- 1:35:33Speaker 10: said small town firefighters are not for example, like yeah,
- 1:35:37Speaker 10: you're heroes, like if you're if you're a.
- 1:35:39Speaker 11: Small town firefighter, and you're just fighting a house fire.
- 1:35:42Speaker 11: And you're not going and cutting floors open. You're not
- 1:35:45Speaker 11: in a skyscraper, you're not out in the wilderness during
- 1:35:47Speaker 11: a wildfire. You're just That was a gregs guy opinion
- 1:35:50Speaker 11: right that he had anyway, what was called unpopular opinion.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Right, This is for Greg. I'm a firefighter. I've been
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: one for almost ten years. I've saved live face burning buildings.
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: I've handled to you as most people couldn't even imagine
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: and imagine that. And you're a washed old fairy sitting
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: safely behind a microphone trashing the real men out here
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: who literally put their lives on the line every single day.
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: You work in radio, literally the easiest safest job in
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: the world. Unless you run into a firefighter one day,
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: who knows who you are? WHOA, I don't want an apology.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: Those are for sissy soy boys like Greg. I would say,
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: come on down and try being a firefighter for a day,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: But you wouldn't last three minutes here. I wouldn't last
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: three seconds. Wow, that's that's from Jane.
- 1:36:42Speaker 7: Yeah, that sounded like an invitation to come down and
- 1:36:44Speaker 7: check out the fire out.
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: Thanks a lot, you lost us like I could.
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: Lift the hose. Please doesn't want you to come on
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: down chili with us.
- 1:36:57Speaker 11: That was a little confusing.
- 1:36:58Speaker 5: Jane and Greg would love to detail fire track.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: Sexual I get good at that, all right. Next one,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: this is okay. This is one that was sent to
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: They went to the radio station website click contact does
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: it's from Kylie subject that's the best you could do.
- 1:37:17Speaker 10: It.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Also, when you probably reply requested yes, I'm not sure
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: what to do with this, but I just want to
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: let you know that I turned into your morning show
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: and heard them doing a Black History Month segment where
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: all of the white cast members competed to quote earn
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: their black cards for a day and as an ally
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: to the black community. I found the entire premise insulting
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: and painfully tone death.
- 1:37:44Speaker 12: Oh so she's not even black.
- 1:37:45Speaker 7: No, that never is the case. No, it does an.
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: Ally that's a Black History Month deserves legitimate respect. It's
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: not an opportunity for a let's see who's black enough
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: trivia theme where white people can prove how ignorant they
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: are to the live.
- 1:38:00Speaker 5: To Black America.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: We were trying to do well, thank you. There's a
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: difference between humor and culturally insensitive. This seriously crossed the line.
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: And to reduce a culture so deeply rooted in struggle,
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: resilience and achievement to a game is careless. Gets that
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: can imagine if Vaughan got fired for the Black history
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: or in trouble anyway, you have a case they get tough.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: What made it even more uncomfortable was the position they
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: put their black co worker in.
- 1:38:33Speaker 5: His name is John.
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: It's obvious that he was forced to participate and host
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: the skit because he is the token black man. That's
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: not a good look on your show and John deserves better. Yeah,
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: he pitched it in the meeting, right, Yeah he did,
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: John did.
- 1:38:51Speaker 8: We hypnotized him like you get out.
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: Response, So I would appreciate one from someone who can
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: tell me how this will be address, which I'm assuming
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: it will. That is, unless the management of this radio
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: channel is part.
- 1:39:03Speaker 5: Of the problem.
- 1:39:06Speaker 8: Actually it was their idea.
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: Regards John from Kylie and I'm sorry, I report guys,
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: we've lost Kyler.
- 1:39:18Speaker 10: The t back I got from the African American community
- 1:39:22Speaker 10: loved it.
- 1:39:22Speaker 7: Yeah, and by the way, we're not allies at the
- 1:39:25Speaker 7: black community. When we got all those answers, right, Hello,
- 1:39:28Speaker 7: I don't get it some of us right.
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: Here's another one. This is uh from Debbie S sent
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: to the station. Feedback to contact.
- 1:39:39Speaker 5: Us subject warning you have a violent employee.
- 1:39:44Speaker 8: Oh that's true.
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: Reply requested. Yes, let me be absolutely clear if you don't,
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: If you don't take immediate action regarding what I just
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: heard one of your DJs say on the air, you
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: are knowingly accepting liability. Okay. I expect this message will
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: be taken very seriously. I just tuned in and the
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: first thing I heard was one of the men on
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: the show, not the host. It was another man crashing
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: out and yelling at the other people on the staff.
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: Real professional, cool guy. At one point, if you haven't
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: figured out, they're talking about you, Bart, I'm a DJ though,
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: yeah yeah, well hell yeah yeah. At one point he
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: said to a female in the room, don't come to
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: school tomorrow.
- 1:40:33Speaker 12: I think it was to you, yeah, good looking, thank you,
- 1:40:36Speaker 12: I try, which.
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: Wasn't a threat to her. He was warning her while
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: threatening the others.
- 1:40:43Speaker 13: Ye.
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: Don't try to play that off as a joke exactly.
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: That is not dark humor. That phrase is widely associated
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: with shootings. It's the darkest of humors. Everyone knows it.
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: There is no plausible deniability here, thank you. In this
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: current climate with Trump in the White House, it carries
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: a terrifying implication. Here we go. I believe you have a.
- 1:41:04Speaker 5: Serious workplace safety issue.
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: Not only is it unacceptable to make comments like that,
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: but do you realize what that does to someone like
- 1:41:12Speaker 1: me who suffers from extreme anxiety? It's triggering. Yeah, go ahead, Okay,
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: I called out from work because it made me too
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: anxious to go at my job.
- 1:41:23Speaker 5: That sounds like damages.
- 1:41:26Speaker 12: That's actually crazy.
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: At minimum, this employee should be suspended pending an internal investigation.
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: Your audience heard that your staff had to sit there
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: and absorb that it was traumatic. And now we wait
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: to hear how you handle this violent coworker by giving
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: him a day off. Give me something about it before
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: it's too late, because the blood will be on your hands.
- 1:41:46Speaker 5: Oh that is from the very anxious Debbie s.
- 1:41:52Speaker 1: You lost.
- 1:41:55Speaker 10: Debbie?
- 1:41:56Speaker 7: Yeah, her company lost Debbie? Anymore?
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: Debbie. Let me just say you are hurt.
- 1:42:04Speaker 16: Yeah?
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: I see. Yeah, mister Grimmas just said some of the
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: text sounds like sea bass Roads. The email sup fortune
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: and I hope something's done. Yeah, and you know what
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: we did the the black card thing last year. You know,
- 1:42:18Speaker 1: this is around the I think in someone of the texts.
- 1:42:20Speaker 5: I think you're right.
- 1:42:21Speaker 1: I think we did get somebody uh in the crossroads
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: last year for.
- 1:42:24Speaker 7: Yeah, probably thanks John. Yeah, it's John's fault.
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: So do I get a vacation or not? What are
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: we doing? I just stopped me. I don't care.
- 1:42:32Speaker 5: Okay, I'm fine with everything.
- 1:42:35Speaker 12: No, you need to come in. If he's not here,
- 1:42:37Speaker 12: our jobs get way harder.
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. Do it all right?
- 1:42:42Speaker 3: This?
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: What do you show? Email?
- 1:42:43Speaker 13: Here?
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: One more? This is from a Esteban subject enough of
- 1:42:47Speaker 1: Sea Bass already. That's that's what Bortsman saying. Hell yeah,
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: all right. I never complain or send emails to companies
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: like this, but I do have something to say here
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: because I think Sea Bass is officially ruined the show
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: for me, and I can't take it anymore. I'm tapping out.
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: The final strike was Sea Bass, the bald, pudgy, lesbian
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: faced ego maniac, having a full blown, fifteen minute man
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: baby tantrum over Greg forgetting something during a game that
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: happened on the show years ago. Absolutely ridiculous. It's in
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: the last year. Thank you, the way I remember the
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: way he dragged it out and acted personally offended by
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: it was so over the top and cringey. Every conversation
- 1:43:28Speaker 1: between Sea Bass and Greg turns into an intense, bitter debate,
- 1:43:32Speaker 1: and it's getting old. I agree, dude, seas people forget things.
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: That's normal. It does not matter, it does. I know,
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: I'm not the only one who listens to the Woody
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: Show to laugh and not to hear a grown man
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: spiral because somebody had a normal.
- 1:43:46Speaker 5: Human memory lapse.
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: He has ruined the show and he sucks. But otherwise
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: y'all are great.
- 1:43:52Speaker 11: FU I thanks a lot man.
- 1:43:59Speaker 5: You lost Stebal.
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: Some bitch.
- 1:44:09Speaker 8: Craig just said sorry, see that's you're right.
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: Well, which is what we learned that day. Kylie, Debbie,
- 1:44:15Speaker 1: and Esteban you will be missed. I forget what somebody
- 1:44:18Speaker 1: had posted on the comments on one of our Instagram
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: posts here recently, and they were basically saying like this
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: is why you know, or something about like this is
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: why I don't listen anymore, and it was I just
- 1:44:31Speaker 1: made some silly comments because we're trying to get better
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: at replying to the comments and liking different posts, and
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: I said.
- 1:44:38Speaker 5: Weird, we didn't even know you were gone. You know
- 1:44:41Speaker 5: you were gone. Damn you know to go what a weird?
- 1:44:45Speaker 5: What a weird response to that is that weird?
- 1:44:48Speaker 6: Weird.
- 1:44:50Speaker 7: I can't win.
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: People. People people. Well that's the that's the crossroads everybody
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: people show cross roads. Yeah, all right, we're gonna take
- 1:44:59Speaker 1: a quick break. Will somehow try to continue on even
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: went out with those people? You know, more Woody shows next,
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: right after.
- 1:45:07Speaker 7: These messages I had, and there up the fire.
- 1:45:15Speaker 1: Breaking news Greg Gory had to take a major out
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: of work.
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: Not since the fall of Rome has there been this
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: much devastation on death Woody Woody.
- 1:45:27Speaker 5: And now back to the Woody Show.
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: All right, so we know how Greg feels about a
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: lot a lot of things, like firefighters, about police. Okay,
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: let's see what he thinks about this. A woman in
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: Canada was minding her own business and she realized that
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: something above her was following her. She's in her car,
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: so she's or something. She stops at a red light
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: and she noticed that a drone was checking out her car.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: It's following her.
- 1:45:57Speaker 10: Okay, that's cool.
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: So she she looked round. She didn't see anybody operating
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: the drone, So, you know, freaked out a little bit,
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: pulled out her phone to take a picture of it
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: to report it. Well, that drone was a police drone.
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: This is new to Canada. It just it hovers around
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: cars trying to catch them in the act of distracted driving.
- 1:46:17Speaker 7: Oh gosh.
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: So a cop pulled her over shortly after for distracted
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: driving and gave her a ticket six hundred and fifteen dollars.
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: She's fighting it, saying that she wouldn't have pulled out
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: her phone if the drone wasn't creeping around in.
- 1:46:33Speaker 5: The first place, which I'm on her side for.
- 1:46:35Speaker 10: Any decent argument causing the distraction.
- 1:46:39Speaker 11: Yeah, especially if it's low enough that you noticed it.
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: This is not something people are are used to. Yeah,
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: maybe someday we'll live in a world where like drones
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: follow every car. Yeah.
- 1:46:49Speaker 11: Remember in Goodfellas he was being followed by the helicopter. Yeah,
- 1:46:53Speaker 11: it's just driving looking up the whole time.
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: He thought he was just being paranoid, right, And that's
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: that's always like something you say to somebody who's being paradisic.
- 1:47:00Speaker 1: There are no black helicopters following following you, Well, yes
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: there are.
- 1:47:05Speaker 5: That that would be weird. I would be distracted and I'm.
- 1:47:10Speaker 7: Sick of this. This is just another slippery slope of
- 1:47:13Speaker 7: these damn you know red light cameras. Like if you're
- 1:47:15Speaker 7: not there to catch me, then let this happen. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: Yeah, there's there's uh, there's these drones. Of course, there's
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: the red light cameras. But now there's even you know,
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: cameras along highways, freeways to monitor speed. They're talking about
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: sending tickets, just directing with with with no points attached
- 1:47:36Speaker 1: to them. But still it's it's just a money grous
- 1:47:39Speaker 1: a money grab. Cameras, cameras posted on different places that
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: will look into your car to see if you are
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: on the phone as you're flying by.
- 1:47:50Speaker 10: I think I got caught by one. I'm still waiting
- 1:47:52Speaker 10: because it was in a desert area, not a building
- 1:47:55Speaker 10: in sight for miles, and there's like one of these
- 1:47:58Speaker 10: little police little tower thing with cameras on it.
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: I'm like, I will get busted. I am a texter
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: and driver, but when I approach an I'm really good
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: at it. I mentioned a parallel parking and texting and driving,
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: I'm fantastic.
- 1:48:13Speaker 11: When I approach the intersection that has the huge sign
- 1:48:15Speaker 11: camera and forced I start slowing down a mile before
- 1:48:19Speaker 11: that intersection because I'm afraid if it turns yellow and
- 1:48:21Speaker 11: I'm my tire is just over, then I'll get the ticket.
- 1:48:25Speaker 11: So it makes me go I'm super slow.
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: I apologize if it's not. I am I remembering this right?
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: Like when was there a time? Maybe not now? Was
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: there a time years ago? Because Greg has always hated
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: these cameras. I hate them that when you would go
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: through the intersection, you were flipping them off like you
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: or is that somebody else that we were working with. No,
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: you can see why that memory to Greg.
- 1:48:48Speaker 11: I know I should have done that. No, but I
- 1:48:51Speaker 11: had the idea that if you think, oh god, I'm
- 1:48:53Speaker 11: about to run, you know it's been yellow too long
- 1:48:56Speaker 11: or it's turning red, just cover your face through the
- 1:48:58Speaker 11: interest dog because they need your face, and then just say, yeah,
- 1:49:02Speaker 11: that friend borrowed my car.
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: So looking further into the article, the court or wear
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: a mask ended up agreeing with her and they dropped
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: the tickets. Good in all related charge.
- 1:49:11Speaker 7: That's what I like to hear.
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: Yeah, Good actually went to court and actually was successful.
- 1:49:16Speaker 1: Yeah hey hey, hey hey, and you look and then
- 1:49:19Speaker 1: all right, then you're distracted.
- 1:49:21Speaker 10: Hey, hey, when I got busted for that span ticket
- 1:49:24Speaker 10: probably about like two years ago. Now, now I just
- 1:49:27Speaker 10: kind of just leave cruise control on to say, yeah,
- 1:49:29Speaker 10: me too, same. I don't want to go through this,
- 1:49:32Speaker 10: set it and forget it.
