- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on, I sure will.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 0:10Speaker 2: dig me now one and only see if Harvey got
- 0:13Speaker 2: a radio show man. God is in a blessing business.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm in the receiving line.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Man.
- 0:21Speaker 2: That's a good feeling. I thank God for waking me
- 0:24Speaker 2: up in the mornings, I really really do. I thank
- 0:28Speaker 2: God for the spirit that he wakes me up with
- 0:31Speaker 2: because I finally, but I finally figured it out. Such
- 0:35Speaker 2: a blessing that shouldn't be taken for granted. The fact
- 0:38Speaker 2: that you are up today, the fact that you just
- 0:41Speaker 2: got off working, you driving home, the fact that you
- 0:44Speaker 2: got a job to come home from, the fact that
- 0:46Speaker 2: you got a job to wake up too.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Whatever it is, the fact that you can see.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Think, here, smell, walk, talk, rhyme, reason, whatever it is,
- 0:58Speaker 2: it's a blessing.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Talking to a partner of mine last night, and an
- 1:03Speaker 2: analogy came to me last night of what my life
- 1:05Speaker 2: has been like, just going over my story with a
- 1:08Speaker 2: friend of mine of all some of the things I
- 1:11Speaker 2: had gone through, and he never knew it because he said, man,
- 1:14Speaker 2: you never told me that we were just talking. One
- 1:18Speaker 2: of the things I remember and it's kind of equated
- 1:21Speaker 2: to my life was when I was a little boy.
- 1:26Speaker 2: As she goes to the store with my mom and
- 1:30Speaker 2: she would let me buy a jigsaw puzzle. Now, for
- 1:34Speaker 2: those of you, a jigsaw puzzle comes in a box.
- 1:37Speaker 2: There are no instructions. It just comes in a box
- 1:42Speaker 2: and it's simple. You're gonna dump the pieces out in
- 1:46Speaker 2: a pile and you're gonna try to put the pieces
- 1:49Speaker 2: together until it looks like the picture that's on the
- 1:54Speaker 2: cover of the box.
- 1:57Speaker 1: That's as simple as it is. Here is the deal.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I would select a jigsaw puzzle based on the picture
- 2:10Speaker 2: that I liked and if I thought I could do it. Now,
- 2:17Speaker 2: if the picture looked too crazy, if it looked too intricate,
- 2:21Speaker 2: I didn't want that puzzle, you know. And the thing was,
- 2:25Speaker 2: back in the day you got a jigsaw puzzle, you
- 2:27Speaker 2: had a hundred piece puzzles.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Four hundred piece puzzles. Man, then they say a thousand
- 2:32Speaker 1: piece puzzle. You go ooo.
- 2:35Speaker 2: So those were a little difficult for me when I
- 2:38Speaker 2: was a little boy, so I didn't want that. As
- 2:41Speaker 2: I got a little bit older, I had more challenging puzzles,
- 2:45Speaker 2: you know. Four fifty five hundred piece puzzles, but I
- 2:51Speaker 2: always picked a picture of something I liked. So it's
- 2:56Speaker 2: very simple. You get the jigsaw puzzle, you get it home,
- 2:59Speaker 2: you open it up, jump it out on the table,
- 3:02Speaker 2: You flip all the pieces over so you can see them,
- 3:06Speaker 2: and then I would try to sort them based on
- 3:09Speaker 2: the colors on the box. If it was like a
- 3:12Speaker 2: black section, I'd take all the black pieces and slide
- 3:15Speaker 2: them over there. If it was some flowers, I'd try
- 3:18Speaker 2: to find all the pictures with little jigsaw pieces with
- 3:21Speaker 2: the little floor, and I separate them and then i'd
- 3:24Speaker 2: start putting it together. And the way I started was
- 3:26Speaker 2: i'd try to build a border first, because I knew
- 3:29Speaker 2: all the straight.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Edges had to be side by side at one point.
- 3:34Speaker 2: And it was funny, man, because it's related to my life.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I would start putting the pieces together of the picture
- 3:42Speaker 2: I saw that I liked, and that would be my picture.
- 3:47Speaker 2: A lot of people didn't like jigsaw puzzles. As a
- 3:51Speaker 2: matter of fact, none of the boys on the street
- 3:54Speaker 2: liked jigsaw puzzles but me, because they just didn't want
- 3:58Speaker 2: to go through the intricate detail of figuring that out.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Really go outside and run or something like that, And
- 4:04Speaker 2: so what happened was, as I got older, I wanted
- 4:09Speaker 2: more difficult and challenging puzzles, but I wouldn't go too far.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I wanted some nice stuff to happen. I had a
- 4:16Speaker 2: picture of what I wanted for my life, but I
- 4:19Speaker 2: didn't want to go too far because it was so
- 4:22Speaker 2: challenging and difficult. I couldn't see myself with all of that,
- 4:26Speaker 2: and I didn't have the time, the knowledge, the expertise
- 4:30Speaker 2: to figuring all the intricate details. And I discovered something
- 4:34Speaker 2: when I was talking last night. That's what happens in
- 4:39Speaker 2: life to a lot of people. You get bogged down
- 4:43Speaker 2: with the details of coming up and trying to create
- 4:45Speaker 2: the picture that you want for yourself. You put it
- 4:48Speaker 2: to the side, you say all that puzzles are crazy.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Next thing you know, you crumb it up and put
- 4:53Speaker 2: it back in the box. So you go halfway and
- 4:55Speaker 2: you get stuck, and you get to the part where
- 4:57Speaker 2: it ain't a lot of different colors. It's all the same,
- 5:00Speaker 2: and that's a little bit more challenging. So that may
- 5:02Speaker 2: stop you. But it's somewhere in the jigsaw puzzle that
- 5:05Speaker 2: it gets very difficult and challenging the bigger the picture
- 5:09Speaker 2: you want, but then what will happened in your life.
- 5:14Speaker 2: It's just like what happened in the jigsaw. Once you
- 5:17Speaker 2: get comfortable and you don't mind the challenge, you could
- 5:23Speaker 2: get a bigger picture. But here's the key to it, though,
- 5:27Speaker 2: if you put God in your mix, See, the picture
- 5:31Speaker 2: that I saw for myself as a boy is not
- 5:34Speaker 2: the picture that has happened to me as a man.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Because along the way from boyhood to manhood, from the
- 5:42Speaker 2: time I was telling you understand what happened along the
- 5:45Speaker 2: ride in there was I started putting God in the mix.
- 5:50Speaker 2: And so now the picture that I have now is
- 5:54Speaker 2: not the picture I saw. It's the picture that God saw.
- 5:58Speaker 2: So what I'm saying this analogy is the picture you
- 6:02Speaker 2: have may be difficult to complete, but if you were
- 6:06Speaker 2: to include God in your life, put God in your
- 6:10Speaker 2: jigsaw puzzle, God will not only help you complete the puzzle,
- 6:16Speaker 2: and he gonna add some pieces, he gonna do some favors,
- 6:20Speaker 2: he gonna show some mercy, and you gonna look up
- 6:23Speaker 2: and the picture that you're able to end up with
- 6:25Speaker 2: will be totally different and much more complete, much more beautiful.
- 6:30Speaker 2: A bigger picture than the one you had. Because there's
- 6:33Speaker 2: no way that I could have saught a life that
- 6:35Speaker 2: I have today back when I was a boy. And
- 6:39Speaker 2: it amazes me when I hear people say I always
- 6:41Speaker 2: saw this for myself. Ah, I didn't do that. I
- 6:44Speaker 2: didn't quite see this for myself. I don't know how
- 6:47Speaker 2: you can have the ability to see what God really
- 6:50Speaker 2: has for you. But man, he's a master for jigsaw. Man,
- 6:54Speaker 2: he's an incredible puzzle completed. So if you got a
- 6:57Speaker 2: puzzle that's challenging to you, maybe you need to see
- 7:01Speaker 2: what's the picture that God has for your life. If
- 7:04Speaker 2: God were in your life, if you complete it to puzzle,
- 7:09Speaker 2: what would it look like. It'll be a far more
- 7:12Speaker 2: extensive puzzle, and it would be a far more beautiful
- 7:16Speaker 2: piece of scenery than you could have ever imagined. Tears
- 7:20Speaker 2: come in my eyes because I can't believe God bought
- 7:24Speaker 2: me this far. I can't believe that when I opened
- 7:27Speaker 2: up and accepted him and started talking to him, that
- 7:29Speaker 2: he would add all these pieceles to my jigsaw puzzle,
- 7:33Speaker 2: and my jigsaw puzzle would look like this. And I
- 7:36Speaker 2: can tell you I ain't got a whole lot to
- 7:38Speaker 2: do with what out and turned into. It's mostly favor
- 7:42Speaker 2: and blessings and grace and mercy of God. And I
- 7:45Speaker 2: looked up and I just got a much bigger jigsaw
- 7:48Speaker 2: puzzle completed.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And guess what, He ain't through with me yet.
- 7:52Speaker 2: That's what's amazing and exciting about a relationship with God.
- 7:56Speaker 2: God could take your jigsaw puzzle and fix it to
