- 0:29Speaker 1: you confess what is up?
- 0:31Speaker 2: Oh man?
- 0:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I really do feel frick it awful for this. Okay.
- 0:36Speaker 3: So I'm a teacher and I have been for many years.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I love my students, but I feel super guilty for
- 0:44Speaker 3: some I did a few years ago. So okay, I'm
- 0:47Speaker 3: not gonna tell you what great I peak. But I'm
- 0:50Speaker 3: an elementary food teacher, okay, And so you know, we
- 0:53Speaker 3: always try to have parties and fun stuff for the
- 0:56Speaker 3: kids to do, you know, to you know, like they're
- 1:00Speaker 3: getting better and stuff. But all of that costs money.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and I feel like the I feel like the
- 1:06Speaker 2: kids nowadays get parties for everything.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Yeah twice everything, you twenty participation parties, you know, like
- 1:15Speaker 3: you just showed up parties.
- 1:16Speaker 2: You know, you've been more money to your teachers or
- 1:20Speaker 2: to the room mom twice.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I had to send thirty five bucks for my
- 1:25Speaker 1: son for character.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Great. The parents are great, and they all, like you know,
- 1:29Speaker 3: agreed and they would chip in and do whatever they could,
- 1:32Speaker 3: you know, to make it good for everybody. And honestly,
- 1:35Speaker 3: they did more than enough, like they all gave, and
- 1:39Speaker 3: it was we had more than what we needed. But
- 1:42Speaker 3: this is my secret. Okay. So the thing is, because
- 1:45Speaker 3: we had a surplus at the time, I took some
- 1:49Speaker 3: of the money and used to perst some bills. Oh
- 1:52Speaker 3: my god, oh my god. I know.
- 1:55Speaker 4: But it was such a rough rough time. I know,
- 1:59Speaker 4: I was going through a okay, so what to cut
- 2:01Speaker 4: in the light off? All right, okay, you know, and
- 2:05Speaker 4: I had unexpected medical bills and things like that.
- 2:08Speaker 3: And I was just overwhelmed. And yeah, that's my secret.
- 2:12Speaker 3: But listen, I paid it back when I could, you know,
- 2:15Speaker 3: I did. I did pay it back, but it took
- 2:18Speaker 3: a while. To pay it back. I mean it was
- 2:20Speaker 3: only one hundred. It was only a few hundred dollars,
- 2:22Speaker 3: you know, But still I feel awful about it. But
- 2:26Speaker 3: but listen, listen, the kids never went without like they
- 2:28Speaker 3: still had everything, and the parties were great, like no
- 2:32Speaker 3: one ever knew different. But it's just been on my soul.
- 2:36Speaker 2: It's just been on my right well, I mean a
- 2:38Speaker 2: couple hundred so they would the parents. Let me get
- 2:40Speaker 2: this right, So the parents were venmo use money the
- 2:42Speaker 2: room momb or whatever you guys are get together. Then
- 2:44Speaker 2: you'd be in charge of getting the stuff. And you
- 2:46Speaker 2: took it to pay some bills. Yes, one time, one time.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You didn't do it more than one time. No, are
- 2:52Speaker 1: you sure?
- 2:53Speaker 3: I promised it was just the one time. I just
- 2:56Speaker 3: needed to pay. It was like three hundred bucks. I
- 2:59Speaker 3: just needed to pay my life. They weren't to cut
- 3:01Speaker 3: my life.
- 3:02Speaker 1: That's a lot, you know, girl, You keep your lights on.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Twenty four to seven.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Doesn't mean it's also what kind of parties are y'all having?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and I also assume that's money for the year.
- 3:13Speaker 1: You know that people have been.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Dumping in so well yeah, yeah, this is a non
- 3:17Speaker 2: judgment zone. Obviously it's not something you're proud of, and
- 3:20Speaker 2: you're not calling up because your hype about it, and
- 3:21Speaker 2: you're like, look at what I did, but at all.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but you never did it again, And.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Again I did.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I did pay it back, you know, and I would
- 3:30Speaker 3: bring in extra things and spend the money, you know,
- 3:33Speaker 3: on the kids and do other stuff once things got
- 3:35Speaker 3: a little better. But I mean, I just you know,
- 3:38Speaker 3: it's one of those things I have never told anybody
- 3:41Speaker 3: before because I mean, you know, it's something you know. Again,
- 3:45Speaker 3: I'm not proud about it, but you know it's I
- 3:48Speaker 3: had to do it at the time. But I'm lucky,
- 3:51Speaker 3: you know. But I didn't affect the parties or the kids.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so that was the well you learn from it,
- 3:57Speaker 2: and you know, sometimes desperate time called for desperate measures.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I've seen Pooh steal toilet paper from the toilet from
- 4:04Speaker 2: the bathroom here.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I've taken home a paper towel roll before.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, you know, I've never stole from kids, man,
- 4:10Speaker 2: But that's okay.
- 4:11Speaker 1: We all have a different She borrowed it, she borrowed it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: They still what they needed. And you're a great teacher.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I mean, like aayday loan.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Ye, my kids and I love their parents, and I
- 4:23Speaker 3: appreciated it. But I mean, listen, it was more than
- 4:26Speaker 3: what we needed. Okay, Like, if we didn't have enough money,
- 4:29Speaker 3: I would have probably tried to find another way, but
- 4:32Speaker 3: we were way over.
- 4:34Speaker 1: So you paid all of it back.
- 4:35Speaker 3: You said, I paid all of it back, every dollar.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Okay. Nice. Good.
- 4:41Speaker 2: If I knew one of Zo's teachers were in this
- 4:43Speaker 2: position too.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I'd be like, go for it.
- 4:45Speaker 2: But yeah, if she's just gonna pay it back before
- 4:49Speaker 2: they need to spend it on.
- 4:50Speaker 1: The school, I don't know about that. You know, well,
- 4:53Speaker 1: his teachers, what would I do.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I mean, I'd be like, listen, I have some candles
- 4:56Speaker 2: when they show your lights off, I'll just you can.
- 5:02Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't. I would help out if I could.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I would as long as I know, but I wouldn't.
- 5:06Speaker 2: I wouldn't be happy if I found this out before
- 5:08Speaker 2: she paid it back, but you did, so it doesn't matter,
- 5:10Speaker 2: and you ended up doing the right thing.
- 5:12Speaker 3: And I haven't done it since because you know, things
- 5:14Speaker 3: got better and uh so, yeah, you know, I just
- 5:17Speaker 3: want to get it off my chip. This is well.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I'm glad you did.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Thank you for your confession and your secret, and I
- 5:23Speaker 2: still think you're a great person. We love our teachers,
- 5:25Speaker 2: and I'm glad you paid it back and and thank
- 5:28Speaker 2: you for opening up to us.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Okay, I appreciate it. Thank you, guys, You're welcome.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Thanks.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Stealing from the kids sherow she borrowed, but she borrowed.
- 5:37Speaker 1: It's still stealing. It's stealing when you first do it.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Can I borrow that? Twenty days hanging out Joe Purson, Yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 1: that's true. I saw I saw through one time steal
- 5:46Speaker 1: from some girl scouts. Yes, I would never.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I saw him steal from a nun one time. And
- 5:54Speaker 2: now they passed the money around at church.
- 5:57Speaker 1: He takes some out and that's what he does. No,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you did not. When when I was little, I did
- 6:03Speaker 1: one time. I got spanked for it too. You took
- 6:06Speaker 1: money out of there because it was a ritual. After church,
- 6:11Speaker 1: my mom we go to tom Thumb and I wanted
- 6:15Speaker 1: some kids, some jolly ranshoes. I was like sixty seven.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I saw that trade coming around. Hold on, see, yeah,
- 6:21Speaker 1: I go ahead about a good five. I know where
- 6:23Speaker 1: you're going. No, it's not up there. No, you got
- 6:27Speaker 1: a spirit flight straight down south
