- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's Insight. Tomorrow's Headlines. Mark Simone. 710WOR. Well, hey, a
- 0:08Speaker 1: lot to get to this hour. Hey, congratulations, Kash Patel.
- 0:14Speaker 1: You remember he had this girlfriend for the last three
- 0:16Speaker 1: or four years, this country music star. And they were
- 0:20Speaker 1: always trying to make it look like some sort of seedy,
- 0:22Speaker 1: slimy something going on. What's he doing with her and
- 0:25Speaker 1: what was he carrying on with? Well, they just announced
- 0:28Speaker 1: they're getting married. Yeah, while they're engaged, Alexis Wilkins and
- 0:34Speaker 1: Kash Patel, he's about almost 20 years older, but they've
- 0:39Speaker 1: been together three or four years, and then congratulations, they're
- 0:41Speaker 1: getting engaged. The left will now find some way to
- 0:46Speaker 1: trash her and him even more, and now that they're
- 0:48Speaker 1: getting engaged. Hey, this fly Dubai hijacking, this terrorist gets
- 0:55Speaker 1: a job as a co-pilot on this airline, Fly Dubai.
- 1:01Speaker 1: How he got this job, nobody will ever figure out.
- 1:05Speaker 1: We now know his name is Hamam Al-Hamami. Hamam Al-Hamami.
- 1:11Speaker 1: He's only 29. And he gets a job as a
- 1:16Speaker 1: co-pilot on the airline. He apparently has a history of
- 1:19Speaker 1: the most extreme posts online. And you just take a
- 1:24Speaker 1: look at his social media online. It's the most disgusting,
- 1:26Speaker 1: extreme stuff talking about beating women. Women are cheap meat
- 1:34Speaker 1: devoured by anyone and everyone. Other posts call for severe
- 1:39Speaker 1: Islamic punishment against Jews and homosexuals. His social media accounts,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I mean, make it clear that he's a radicalized jihadist nut.
- 1:52Speaker 1: He talks about killing Jews. The Times of Israel has
- 1:56Speaker 1: gone through all this social media, found a lot of
- 1:58Speaker 1: this stuff, published it. But I would think because any
- 2:01Speaker 1: normal business, before they hire somebody, they check their social
- 2:05Speaker 1: media just to make sure. So how this airline could
- 2:09Speaker 1: not check this. He had a previous job at Oman's
- 2:14Speaker 1: National Airline last year, but they removed him because of
- 2:18Speaker 1: his extremist Islamist views and apparently just spew them all
- 2:23Speaker 1: over the place. Employees got nervous around the guy. So
- 2:26Speaker 1: they got rid of him. And he has a couple
- 2:30Speaker 1: of posts on his social media showing Israeli airline jets
- 2:34Speaker 1: followed by a photo montage of a suicide bomber and
- 2:38Speaker 1: Al Qaeda. That's on his LinkedIn profile. How could any
- 2:42Speaker 1: company not check this stuff out? And how could they
- 2:47Speaker 1: end up hiring this guy? They just didn't check his
- 2:49Speaker 1: social media. It's absolutely ridiculous. You know, the guy that
- 2:54Speaker 1: tackled him was a plumber He's a good-looking guy, and
- 2:59Speaker 1: he's Israeli. So apparently in Israel, this guy is like
- 3:02Speaker 1: the hottest sex symbol in Israel. Women are going crazy
- 3:06Speaker 1: about this guy, formerly just an everyday plumber, now a
- 3:11Speaker 1: big sex symbol in Israel. Even President Trump gushing over
- 3:17Speaker 1: him on TikTok. It turns out the guy, this Israeli hero,
- 3:22Speaker 1: is also a big Trump fan. I would imagine everybody
- 3:24Speaker 1: in Israel is. Because it was Trump that saved Israel
- 3:28Speaker 1: after October 7th. Imagine if Biden had been in power.
- 3:32Speaker 1: But it's Trump who's done more for Israel than any
- 3:35Speaker 1: president ever. And a lot of Israelis, and it's a
- 3:42Speaker 1: great thing, have military service. It's just pretty much standard
- 3:47Speaker 1: there in Israel that you join the military for a time.
- 3:50Speaker 1: It's great training for life. It's great training for a
- 3:53Speaker 1: lot of things. It's one of the things we'll miss
- 3:56Speaker 1: in this country. If everybody had to have some military
- 3:58Speaker 1: service for a couple of years, they'd be much better, sharper,
- 4:02Speaker 1: more disciplined, better workers, all of that stuff. Hey, the
- 4:06Speaker 1: Cornell case, I don't know, this is going to be
- 4:09Speaker 1: quite a mess. Kathy Hochul, just for political purposes, just
- 4:14Speaker 1: for political purposes, is pretending to be outraged.
- 4:18Speaker 2: No institution gets to protect its reputation. At the expense
- 4:23Speaker 2: of a young person seeking justice.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Well, this happened two years ago. Kathy Hochul's district attorney
- 4:29Speaker 1: let the guys go and didn't do anything about it.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And she never said a word about it.
- 4:32Speaker 2: She spoke to the police. She sat for hours and
- 4:36Speaker 2: told them exactly what happened to her. And according to
- 4:39Speaker 2: new reports.
- 4:40Speaker 1: And she did nothing, Kathy Hochul. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Paid
- 4:44Speaker 1: no attention to this. Now it's three weeks, four weeks,
- 4:47Speaker 1: four weeks before the election. And she's using it as
- 4:50Speaker 1: an election issue. So she's going to yell and scream
- 4:52Speaker 1: about this and pretend that she is on top of it.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Pretend that she is taking action when actually nothing will
- 5:00Speaker 1: get done. She makes the worst possible choice for a
- 5:02Speaker 1: special prosecutor. Letitia James, besides being way too political for
- 5:08Speaker 1: a case like this, and she shot her mouth off
- 5:11Speaker 1: with her posting on Twitter, prejudging the case. Defense attorneys
- 5:16Speaker 1: will be able to use that against her, the fact
- 5:18Speaker 1: that she prejudged the case. And also, Why would you
- 5:21Speaker 1: pick Letitia James? She has no experience at all as
- 5:26Speaker 1: a prosecutor. She's never prosecuted a criminal case in her life.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Before being attorney general, she was the public advocate, which
- 5:34Speaker 1: is basically a no-show job in New York City. You
- 5:39Speaker 1: don't do anything. You basically make speeches. The public advocate
- 5:42Speaker 1: does absolutely nothing. Before that, she sat on the city
- 5:46Speaker 1: council for many years. That's her background. She knows nothing
- 5:49Speaker 1: about prosecuting. criminals. She's never done it in her life.
- 5:54Speaker 1: And it happens. You can, you know, you could just
- 5:57Speaker 1: be a political figure and with no experience, get yourself
- 6:00Speaker 1: elected attorney general. You know, Chris Christie was the U.S.
- 6:04Speaker 1: attorney in New Jersey. And if you watch him on
- 6:06Speaker 1: those Sunday shows, very often he'll say, you know, as
- 6:09Speaker 1: a prosecutor, I was a prosecutor. He was never a prosecutor,
- 6:13Speaker 1: never prosecuted anything. He was a big donor to to
- 6:17Speaker 1: the Bush campaign. He raised a ton of money for
- 6:20Speaker 1: the Bush campaign, so they owed him something. So they
- 6:24Speaker 1: made him U.S. attorney in New Jersey, even though he'd
- 6:26Speaker 1: never been in a courtroom in his life. It can happen.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It can happen where you get appointed prosecutor, even though
- 6:33Speaker 1: you don't know how to prosecute. So that's the case
- 6:35Speaker 1: with Letitia James. You know, and the Cornell situation sounds
- 6:40Speaker 1: so horrifying. But do you know that in U.S. colleges...
- 6:46Speaker 1: In one year, there have been over 8,000 rape cases reported.
- 6:50Speaker 1: 8,000 rape cases reported every year in colleges. The school
- 6:55Speaker 1: with the most reported incidents, University of Utah, had the
- 7:01Speaker 1: most reported rapes, nearly double the number of the number two.
- 7:06Speaker 1: 146 rape accusations in one year. That's like 10 a month.
- 7:13Speaker 1: That's like 11 or 12 a month. That's like two
- 7:18Speaker 1: a week. That's the University of Utah. Number two, University
- 7:22Speaker 1: of Colorado Boulder, second highest count with 96 rapes. Ohio
- 7:30Speaker 1: State is third with 67 rapes reported every year. That's
- 7:36Speaker 1: a staggering amount. That's like six a month. That's unbelievable.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Other schools that made the top 10, Penn State, UCLA.
- 7:49Speaker 1: University of California, Santa Cruz, University of California, Santa Barbara,
- 7:53Speaker 1: Indiana University, University of Kansas, and New York Columbia University
- 8:01Speaker 1: stood out with a lot. Columbia, number one in New York.
- 8:05Speaker 1: It's just horrifying. This goes on. I don't know what
- 8:09Speaker 1: it is. It's just drugs and drinking and standards are
- 8:13Speaker 1: so low now. It's just absolutely crazy. Now, you know,
- 8:18Speaker 1: the billionaire, Ken Griffin, this is the guy that Mondami targeted,
- 8:25Speaker 1: big hedge fund billionaire, Ken Griffin. He's the guy. I
- 8:28Speaker 1: guess Mondami first picked him because Ken Griffin bought that
- 8:32Speaker 1: apartment over there on Central Park South for $ 250 million.
- 8:37Speaker 1: This is for an apartment. $ 250 million for an apartment.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And he's already got the nicest apartment in New York
- 8:47Speaker 1: over on Park Avenue. In the finest building on Park Avenue,
- 8:51Speaker 1: he has the most magnificent apartment. It's like two floors
- 8:54Speaker 1: of the building. It's considered the finest building in New York,
- 8:57Speaker 1: that Park Avenue. So I don't know what the Central
- 8:59Speaker 1: Park South was for. It could be just an investment.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So he's got these two unbelievable apartments in New York
- 9:08Speaker 1: for a total of like $ 350 million. And he doesn't
- 9:13Speaker 1: even live here. He lives in Florida most of the time.
- 9:16Speaker 1: But Mamdani went after him and really targeted him. Now, Mamdani,
- 9:21Speaker 1: remember he did that video standing outside of Ken Griffin's building,
- 9:26Speaker 1: basically showing you where he lives and denouncing him. We've
- 9:29Speaker 1: never seen anything like that before, where a mayor targets
- 9:32Speaker 1: a private citizen just because he bought an apartment and
- 9:35Speaker 1: makes videos taunting the guy and trying to terrify the
- 9:38Speaker 1: guy and trying to give out his address. It's crazy.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So And a guy like Ken Griffin, you might say, well,
- 9:45Speaker 1: he's a billionaire. They really do a lot. They're the
- 9:48Speaker 1: guys that make all the donations to the hospitals and
- 9:51Speaker 1: the museums and keep them afloat. And he's building a
- 9:56Speaker 1: building here in New York over park avenue and 52nd
- 10:00Speaker 1: they tore down three or four buildings at park avenue
- 10:03Speaker 1: 52nd and they're going to put up like a 90-story
- 10:07Speaker 1: skyscraper so yeah i know you might say well we
- 10:11Speaker 1: don't need another 90-story skyscraper well it's going to create
- 10:14Speaker 1: 6 000 jobs it's great for new york he almost
- 10:18Speaker 1: almost killed the project because of mom donnie but apparently
- 10:21Speaker 1: it's still going on but as much as you want
- 10:26Speaker 1: to hate these billionaires boy do they donate a lot
- 10:28Speaker 1: of money they support all the charities the hospitals the
- 10:32Speaker 1: museums that keep it all going so uh ken griffin
- 10:36Speaker 1: just announced he's given three billion dollars to carnegie mellon
- 10:41Speaker 1: university for a new campus in miami Now, they have
- 10:47Speaker 1: a New York City campus, but he's giving $ 3 billion
- 10:51Speaker 1: to Carnegie Mellon University for their Miami campus. And he
- 10:57Speaker 1: just pledged another billion dollars for their main campus in Pittsburgh.
- 11:04Speaker 1: So that's donations that could have gone here in New
- 11:06Speaker 1: York for their campus, not giving it to them. Now,
- 11:10Speaker 1: these billionaires, again, nobody's more charitable than these guys here.
- 11:14Speaker 1: With all the hospitals, everything, even silly things like the opera,
- 11:17Speaker 1: the ballet. They wouldn't be there for these billionaires donating.
- 11:21Speaker 1: But then you get the Bernie Sanders socialists targeting these guys.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Get off of your yachts and your rocket ships. Take
- 11:29Speaker 2: a break from your cocktail parties and take a look
- 11:34Speaker 2: around you.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Now, first of all, rocket ships. He's talking about Elon Musk.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And that's another thing. Musk created Tesla. Created 100,000 jobs there.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Changed the world of electric cars with that thing. He's
- 11:50Speaker 1: got a space company creating rockets. He's got that Starlink,
- 11:55Speaker 1: those satellite communications that everybody can have in their house
- 11:58Speaker 1: that's being used all over the world. I mean, he's really,
- 12:01Speaker 1: really helping millions of people. And what did Bernie Sanders create? Exactly.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Not a damn thing. He just, just talks.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Get off of your yachts and your rocket ships.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Remember, it's Bernie Sanders, typical socialist who we've seen flying
- 12:20Speaker 1: around on private jets, staying in the most luxurious hotels
- 12:24Speaker 1: all over the world with your money, with our money.
- 12:28Speaker 1: One thing about guys like Ken Griffin, they pay for themselves. So,
- 12:33Speaker 1: you know, if you have luggage, of course, you got
- 12:36Speaker 1: to carry on on the plane. And then the big
- 12:39Speaker 1: bag that you got to check. People always say, airline
- 12:43Speaker 1: people always say, don't get fancy luggage. Don't get any
- 12:46Speaker 1: expensive looking luggage. Make sure you got the crummiest, cheapest
- 12:50Speaker 1: luggage to check. I know it doesn't sound right, but apparently,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you know, you're not allowed to lock your suitcase anymore.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So when it's back there with the baggage handling, they
- 13:00Speaker 1: do go through some suitcases and they do steal stuff.
- 13:04Speaker 1: And they always pick the most expensive looking luggage. They
- 13:06Speaker 1: figure that's where the expensive stuff will be. If you've
- 13:09Speaker 1: got a crummy 25-year-old broken-down suitcase, they're not looking in there.
- 13:13Speaker 1: But if you've got some Louis Vuitton luggage or Gucci,
- 13:15Speaker 1: they're going to look through that. Well, look at this guy.
- 13:18Speaker 1: He had a watch stolen out of his suitcase, an
- 13:22Speaker 1: $ 80, 000 Patek Philippe. Now, if you've got an $ 80, 000 Patek Philippe,
- 13:28Speaker 1: that should probably go in your carry-on. You probably don't
- 13:30Speaker 1: want to check that. But he did check it, and
- 13:33Speaker 1: it was stolen, and he discovered it was stolen. He
- 13:36Speaker 1: was flying from Los Angeles to the Louis Armstrong New
- 13:40Speaker 1: Orleans airport. But good for the airline. Apparently, they got
- 13:44Speaker 1: a lot of surveillance cameras. And they looked. They found
- 13:47Speaker 1: the two guys that stole it. One's 42 and one's 18.
- 13:53Speaker 1: They were both busted. They've been arrested. It's a serious
- 13:56Speaker 1: felony because it's an $ 80, 000 theft. They both will be prosecuted.
- 14:02Speaker 1: But again... Get yourself some nice crummy luggage. They'll never
- 14:05Speaker 1: open it. They'll never, never check it. Very important. Hey,
- 14:09Speaker 1: we'll take some calls next. 800-321-0710. Always good to hear
- 14:16Speaker 1: from new callers. If you're a new caller, call us.
- 14:18Speaker 2: 800-321-0710.
