- 0:02Speaker 1: Apostle Femi Lazarus is a man raised by God to
- 0:06Speaker 1: demonstrate his wisdom and authority to the last day church.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He is the lead pastor of Sphere of Light Church
- 0:13Speaker 1: and God told him years ago that a time will
- 0:16Speaker 1: come where my wisdom will be needed to navigate tough times.
- 0:20Speaker 2: In the body of Christ. Then I will cause your
- 0:24Speaker 2: voice to be heard.
- 0:25Speaker 1: And all who pay attention to my word on your
- 0:29Speaker 1: lips will not lack light and direction. He's a man
- 0:33Speaker 1: sent from God, sent to raise God's end time armies.
- 0:38Speaker 1: With Apostle Fermi Lazarus, every minute counts as you listen attentively.
- 0:47Speaker 2: God strengthens you in the name of Jesus. Today I'm teaching...
- 0:53Speaker 2: Still on the principal topic, from dysfunctionality to functionality, I'm
- 1:01Speaker 2: teaching on a subtopic titled, There Are Consequences. That's the title.
- 1:07Speaker 2: There Are Consequences. Okay? There Are Consequences. So that's my
- 1:15Speaker 2: subtopic this morning. And I want us to pay very
- 1:20Speaker 2: important attention Even to this. Amen. Exodus chapter number 25.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Let's start the reading. Let me wait for you. Exodus 25.
- 1:32Speaker 2: We'll start the reading from. So contextually. God was instructing Moses.
- 1:44Speaker 2: As taught in the word to build. And how to build. Okay.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And let me start the reading from verse 39. Exodus
- 1:54Speaker 2: 25 from verse 29. Of a talent of pure gold
- 2:00Speaker 2: shall he make it with all these vessels. And look
- 2:06Speaker 2: that you make them after the pattern which was shown
- 2:11Speaker 2: to you, shown you in the mount. So God was
- 2:15Speaker 2: telling Moses in a nutshell that what you are to build,
- 2:22Speaker 2: there is a pattern. Okay? The pattern exists in the
- 2:28Speaker 2: spirit realm. God said, I've shown you. So your duty
- 2:32Speaker 2: is to duplicate according to that pattern. So there is
- 2:39Speaker 2: a pattern for godly living. Is that okay? There is
- 2:43Speaker 2: a pattern for pastoring a church. If you are going
- 2:50Speaker 2: to be a leader, there is a scriptural pattern. If
- 2:54Speaker 2: you are walking under your boss, there is a scriptural pattern.
- 3:00Speaker 2: We don't model things up. You don't pray in tongues
- 3:02Speaker 2: when you should walk. Nobody can be blackmailed. Unlike the
- 3:08Speaker 2: Gen Z's who call it gaslighted. Am I correct? With
- 3:14Speaker 2: the fact that you are not doing things according to pattern.
- 3:18Speaker 2: In fact.
- 3:20Speaker 2: In Romans 12, when the Bible says, I beseech you
- 3:23Speaker 2: therefore from verse 1, that you present your bodies a
- 3:26Speaker 2: living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God. He said, this
- 3:31Speaker 2: is your reasonable what? Service. So, it means that just contextually,
- 3:41Speaker 2: it is only reasonable that if you are married, you
- 3:43Speaker 2: present your bodies. Huh? If you marry somebody and you
- 3:53Speaker 2: don't touch the person, the Bible is saying it is
- 3:56Speaker 2: not reasonable. So if you want to be a reverend father,
- 4:00Speaker 2: be one. If you are going to be married, be married.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Do you understand what I'm saying? I'm saying, you know,
- 4:07Speaker 2: I'm married, but I just love the Lord. I just
- 4:13Speaker 2: love the Lord. I just can't imagine me touching you. Why? Why? Oga, Oga,
- 4:23Speaker 2: who flog you? You are not building according to pattern.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Tell your neighbor there is a pattern. Tell your neighbor again,
- 4:31Speaker 2: there is a godly pattern for building. So there is
- 4:37Speaker 2: a pattern. Things will go bad when we deviate from
- 4:43Speaker 2: the pattern. Okay? There are things that people have no
- 4:49Speaker 2: business dealing with. If they will stay with pattern. Is
- 4:54Speaker 2: that okay now? People have no business, do they? For instance,
- 4:58Speaker 2: when Rachel said, I don't have a child. Jacob, take Belial.
- 5:08Speaker 2: That's not pattern. The fellow that learned that pattern from
- 5:12Speaker 2: was Sarah. Okay? And Leah said, oh, you give your
- 5:17Speaker 2: husband your meal. Okay, me too, I give in my
- 5:20Speaker 2: mate too. That's not pattern. The fact that something has
- 5:25Speaker 2: been repeated over time doesn't make it a godly pattern.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Huh?
- 5:33Speaker 2: That, I can't remember who was sharing a story with
- 5:37Speaker 2: me of a man, his wife went to report him
- 5:43Speaker 2: to a marriage counselor that my husband beat me, used
- 5:47Speaker 2: to beat me. So the man said, my wife is
- 5:51Speaker 2: too troublesome. She will misbehave and do all those things
- 5:56Speaker 2: and all they'll be looking. So one day he got
- 5:58Speaker 2: frustrated and just pounced on her and beat the hell
- 6:02Speaker 2: out of the woman. She was on the floor crying
- 6:06Speaker 2: and when she got up, she asked him, what do
- 6:09Speaker 2: you want to eat? So the man thought to himself
- 6:14Speaker 2: and said, ah, so this is the way to restore
- 6:18Speaker 2: your factory setting. And from that moment, he began to
- 6:25Speaker 2: beat the wife. The fact that what you did achieved
- 6:30Speaker 2: what you wanted does not make a scriptural pattern. There
- 6:37Speaker 2: are things that may work, but they are bad. Do
- 6:41Speaker 2: you know me? I don't take no sense from any man, no.
- 6:46Speaker 2: If my husband is trying to do anything, I know
- 6:49Speaker 2: as I silence him. I don't want to stick in
- 6:51Speaker 2: that nonsense. You may silence him, but you can't silence God.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Say my wife, all I have to do is to
- 7:01Speaker 2: stop sending her money for like two months. She will adjust.
- 7:05Speaker 2: She may adjust, but you must understand that you will
- 7:09Speaker 2: answer before God. Because marriage is to typify God. The
- 7:15Speaker 2: pattern of relationship between the church and who? Christ. Anybody
- 7:24Speaker 2: who knows me will tell you this man is not
- 7:26Speaker 2: a relationship preacher. We are repairing broken bridges. And we
- 7:32Speaker 2: are going to move from there. So there are patterns.
- 7:40Speaker 2: And we must build according to that what? pattern. Now,
- 7:47Speaker 2: one of the things we learned from the beginning was
- 7:51Speaker 2: that the devil hates good patterns. And he likes to
- 7:58Speaker 2: offset balances. In fact, I want the media to project
- 8:01Speaker 2: on the screen Psalms chapter number 82. We start the
- 8:05Speaker 2: reading from verse 5. Psalms 82 from verse 5. And
- 8:09Speaker 2: I want us to learn a few things from there.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Psalms 82 from verse 5. No, okay, sorry, from verse
- 8:19Speaker 2: 1 to 5, sorry. From verse 1 to 5. Okay.
- 8:26Speaker 2: God standeth in the congregation of the mighty, a judge
- 8:30Speaker 2: among the gods. How long will you judge unjustly and
- 8:34Speaker 2: accept the persons of the wicked? Defend the poor and
- 8:38Speaker 2: the fatherless. Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver
- 8:43Speaker 2: the poor and needy. Read them out of the hands
- 8:45Speaker 2: of the wicked. They know not. Neither will they understand.
- 8:49Speaker 2: They walk on in darkness. And all the foundations of their...
- 8:53Speaker 2: Just stop here. Are out of course. So the moment
- 8:57Speaker 2: there is no illumination, we will offset balances. You see,
- 9:03Speaker 2: let me tell you this. One of the ways you
- 9:06Speaker 2: know you are living according to the pattern of scriptures
- 9:09Speaker 2: is that you don't do things that benefit you. You
- 9:11Speaker 2: are being bought with a price. No. If everyone should
- 9:20Speaker 2: do what they want to do, there will be chaos.
- 9:26Speaker 2: There will be destruction. Somebody said an eye for an
- 9:29Speaker 2: eye will make the world go blind or something like that.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Am I correct? Uh-huh. Do you know the things you
- 9:35Speaker 2: want to do? There are times you don't even want
- 9:38Speaker 2: to see the next day. We are not ruled by feelings.
- 9:42Speaker 2: We are ruled by the word. The word of God.
- 9:49Speaker 2: That's our light. That's the revelation that governs our existence.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Say it loud and clear. I choose to build according
- 10:01Speaker 2: to pattern. Say it again. I choose to build according
- 10:08Speaker 2: to pattern. I choose to live by the dictate of
- 10:12Speaker 2: the word. Now look at what the Bible says. First
- 10:17Speaker 2: Peter says, chapter number 5. 1 Peter, chapter number 5.
- 10:25Speaker 2: We start reading from verse 8. Because your adversary, the devil,
- 10:31Speaker 2: as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour,
- 10:35Speaker 2: whom resists steadfast in faith, knowing that the same afflictions
- 10:39Speaker 2: are accomplished by your brothers in the world. So the
- 10:44Speaker 2: Bible is saying that the devil keeps... Looking around. He's
- 10:52Speaker 2: looking for womb. He may what? Devour. So, sometimes you
- 10:56Speaker 2: want to ask, if there's problem in the womb, there
- 10:59Speaker 2: is a womb he wants to devour. There is a person. See,
- 11:04Speaker 2: the devil doesn't just strike. If you don't know why
- 11:06Speaker 2: he is around, you'll keep hosting him. You need to
- 11:12Speaker 2: know why. Why are we having this problem now? Why
- 11:17Speaker 2: are we having dispute now? Why are we having this
- 11:19Speaker 2: argument now? Why is this fight? Some people fight at
- 11:23Speaker 2: the helm of breakthrough. And just when they get into that,
- 11:27Speaker 2: the breakthrough will go again. So the devil, see, we
- 11:31Speaker 2: are dealing with a very smart being. We are dealing
- 11:36Speaker 2: with a being that is ancient. And you must understand
- 11:40Speaker 2: that you need the wisdom of God that is also
- 11:42Speaker 2: ancient to deal with that being. You cannot get modern
- 11:46Speaker 2: wisdom to conquer an ancient devil. there is an ancient wisdom.
- 11:50Speaker 2: And the wisdom is the wisdom of scriptures. There is
- 11:53Speaker 2: nothing anybody wants to tell you that is new. See?
- 11:58Speaker 3: No.
- 12:00Speaker 2: The Bible is clear. There are things that humility will
- 12:03Speaker 2: deal with effortlessly. The attempt to go another route is
- 12:07Speaker 2: to build out a pattern and it will bring chaos.
- 12:12Speaker 2: It will bring chaos. So the devil is all the way.
- 12:16Speaker 2: And you see, I've shown you before. Lions don't attack
- 12:20Speaker 2: animals in group. They wait for the isolated ones. They
- 12:24Speaker 2: wait for the wounded ones. Meaning that you are most
- 12:28Speaker 2: likely going to fall into trouble when you have wounds
- 12:30Speaker 2: that are not healing. Because that puts you back. It
- 12:35Speaker 2: puts you back in a system where you are alone
- 12:39Speaker 2: with your own thought. Have you seen people post things like,
- 12:41Speaker 2: alone with my thought? No, you should not be alone
- 12:43Speaker 2: with your thought.
- 12:43Speaker 5: It is dangerous.
- 12:46Speaker 2: It is dangerous. Because at that point, you are going
- 12:49Speaker 2: to begin to think about things that is mixed with
- 12:52Speaker 2: your experiences and pain and bitterness and there you are wondering.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You can laugh with your spouse, enter into the room
- 13:01Speaker 2: alone with your thoughts and come back seeing him as
- 13:04Speaker 2: a beast. Because at that moment of isolation, the devil
- 13:11Speaker 2: has been able to attack your mind. He has been
- 13:15Speaker 2: able to fight your thinking What he wants to do
- 13:19Speaker 2: is to put filters. Is there anyone here with sunshade? Sunshade, yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 2: It doesn't matter what the color of this room is.
- 13:32Speaker 2: The moment I put this on, what I see with
- 13:37Speaker 2: is this. This alters my perception of this reality. This
- 13:43Speaker 2: is a reality. This is for the moment. Pain is
- 13:47Speaker 2: like this. it alters your perception about the reality. You
- 13:56Speaker 2: look at the person and you can no longer see
- 13:59Speaker 2: the person you used to love.
- 14:01Speaker 3: No.
- 14:02Speaker 2: You actually still love the person. But there is something
- 14:06Speaker 2: altering your what? Reality. Let's give the owner of this
- 14:09Speaker 2: chair a good hand. And that's the same way around
- 14:17Speaker 2: councils work. there are elderly people that should not be
- 14:22Speaker 2: listened to. Elihu said, I thought that multitude of age
- 14:30Speaker 2: should teach wisdom. But it is not always so. Because
- 14:34Speaker 2: fools do survive. Foolishness kills, but some fools survive. And
- 14:42Speaker 2: they live long. And the fact that, see, the fact
- 14:45Speaker 2: that people have podcasts and have things to say about
- 14:48Speaker 2: certain genders and certain things, doesn't make them good. They
- 14:53Speaker 2: may be eloquent, but if you take those ideologies, they
- 14:56Speaker 2: will destroy your home. You check. All the screenshots you
- 15:00Speaker 2: have on your phone, they are a confirmation of your
- 15:03Speaker 2: thought process and where you are going. No grief for
- 15:09Speaker 2: any man. You saved it. Because you agree. The day
- 15:15Speaker 2: somebody will do something that will confirm that reality, you
- 15:18Speaker 2: will flip it out and upload it on your status.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Then they are asking, who is that for?
- 15:22Speaker 4: Say, no, no, no.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I was just thinking to myself, nah, lie. I always
- 15:28Speaker 2: advise people, when you are offended, stop posting status. You
- 15:32Speaker 2: will bleed on it. You will bleed on it. Are
- 15:40Speaker 2: you following what I'm saying here? You check. Who are
- 15:43Speaker 2: you listening to? What are the thought processes you are
- 15:46Speaker 2: running with? There are men who believe that if you
- 15:50Speaker 2: tell your wife everything about your life, she will use
- 15:53Speaker 2: it against you. See, don't just go online and argue.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Let's be smart people. When people talk, look at what
- 16:03Speaker 2: they have said. It just shows you the mindset there is.
- 16:07Speaker 2: That there is. See, I teach, and when I teach...
- 16:16Speaker 2: you can relate with the things that I'm saying because
- 16:19Speaker 2: I don't live in denial. I listen. Somebody can stand
- 16:26Speaker 2: and insult me and insult me and I'm looking at
- 16:28Speaker 2: you and I say, these two exist. The only thing
- 16:33Speaker 2: on my head is, this one is just the manifested
- 16:36Speaker 2: prototype of many hidden ones. How can we help them? No,
- 16:41Speaker 2: I won't fight you.
- 16:43Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, no, no, talk.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I know you are just a captain of many. So
- 16:48Speaker 2: the question is, we go back to the drawing board.
- 16:50Speaker 2: This kind. They put something on this side. That's why
- 16:53Speaker 2: I hate pastors. This kind. How can we help them?
- 16:57Speaker 2: What can we do? Give us the wisdom to reach them.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Because ideologies, they form the filters with which you passive life.
- 17:07Speaker 2: And if they go bad, your perception will be bad too.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Let me teach you a principle. One of the things
- 17:16Speaker 2: I do as a leader that has protected my heart
- 17:19Speaker 2: over the years, even when there is a lot, somebody
- 17:21Speaker 2: has done something bad and this is obviously bad. Are
- 17:25Speaker 2: you coping with this person? I simply refuse to change
- 17:29Speaker 2: my good perception of the person. As long as I
- 17:33Speaker 2: refuse to change what I perceive about the person, you
- 17:35Speaker 2: cannot get me into offense. You're a good man. I
- 17:42Speaker 2: know you are a good man. I know. You are
- 17:46Speaker 2: just doing bad stuff. Maybe you have a bad day,
- 17:50Speaker 2: but you are a good man. Sometimes you will have
- 17:53Speaker 2: to hold fast the good things that you believe about
- 17:58Speaker 2: your spouse. You are a good woman. I know. I
- 18:07Speaker 2: know you are a good woman. But today, Sometimes the
- 18:14Speaker 2: food has been made and they look like they gave
- 18:17Speaker 2: extra salt as bonanza. Your wife has made it. You
- 18:25Speaker 2: look at it and say, my chef, my chef. I
- 18:29Speaker 2: don't know who went to fetch the water for this
- 18:30Speaker 2: soup from the Red Sea. Say, what are you talking about?
- 18:34Speaker 2: Is it sea salt? Yeah, actually. Soft water will turn
- 18:40Speaker 2: a way certain routes. Say I hear. Don't go and
- 18:49Speaker 2: tell your wife, I'm not, I'm innocent. Amen. So the
- 18:55Speaker 2: devil is always looking for things to do to fight individuals,
- 19:04Speaker 2: to fight generations, to fight families, and to fight people.
- 19:10Speaker 2: The Bible said we should resist him steadfastly. When you
- 19:13Speaker 2: hear things as thoughts, you hear things as premonition in
- 19:17Speaker 2: your heart that you know this is not God. Resist
- 19:20Speaker 2: the devil. Okay? Resist the devil. Resist the devil. I'm
- 19:24Speaker 2: going somewhere. If you look at the book of 1 Samuel,
- 19:30Speaker 2: chapter number 15, the story of Saul, there is the
- 19:33Speaker 2: consequence of forsaking God. Everything has consequences. There is a
- 19:41Speaker 2: pattern God created for the society to work, The foundation
- 19:45Speaker 2: of that pattern is the family system. Hence, there is
- 19:49Speaker 2: a foundation. God has designed for the family system to work.
- 19:56Speaker 2: The moment there is a deviation from divine pattern, you
- 20:00Speaker 2: cannot shy away from the consequences. Once we separate ourselves
- 20:06Speaker 2: from divine pattern, we cannot shy away from the consequences.
- 20:10Speaker 2: There is the consequence that my... So I explained the
- 20:13Speaker 2: concept and the concept was gotten wrong. So let me
- 20:16Speaker 2: give clarity. See. There is a consequence of a father
- 20:22Speaker 2: missing in a girl's life. There is the consequence of
- 20:25Speaker 2: a father missing in a boy's life. The father forms
- 20:30Speaker 2: the foundation of purity of affection and the life of
- 20:35Speaker 2: a girl. The father is often referred to As the
- 20:41Speaker 2: girl child's first love. If that role is missing in
- 20:47Speaker 2: a girl's life. She develops what is called toxic love addiction.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That is the need to want to be validated by
- 20:59Speaker 2: those who love you. It is a reality. No amount
- 21:04Speaker 2: of shouting on Apostle Lazarus can change it.
- 21:06Speaker 5: It is a reality.
- 21:08Speaker 2: It is a reality. But God helps. He sends people.
- 21:14Speaker 2: He set the solitary in families. He put people in
- 21:17Speaker 2: places where they can learn. If God has helped you
- 21:20Speaker 2: such a way that you didn't go certain ways, then
- 21:22Speaker 2: God has blessed you. But there are a billion people
- 21:25Speaker 2: that will tell you this is true. A girl has
- 21:29Speaker 2: finished a semester on campus. There's no home to go to.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Some boys are going to take advantage of her. It's
- 21:41Speaker 2: the reality. A man is missing a boy's life. He
- 21:44Speaker 2: lacks identity. I understand that there are situations that necessitate separation.
- 21:53Speaker 2: And biblically, there are situations that necessitate divorce. Oh, yes.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Don't wait till anybody kill you. There are. But, you see,
- 22:05Speaker 2: the moment people are going that route, understand that That
- 22:09Speaker 2: what God has designed for two to nurture is now
- 22:12Speaker 2: going to be nurtured by one. What are the likely consequences?
- 22:16Speaker 2: Don't fight. No, no, it can't happen. No, no, that
- 22:18Speaker 2: is not intelligence. Understand the likely consequences such that you
- 22:22Speaker 2: know you have to go these separate ways. How can
- 22:25Speaker 2: God now help us in the life of these children
- 22:28Speaker 2: that these consequences will not come to a reality? It
- 22:31Speaker 2: is just like the principle of anything that goes up
- 22:33Speaker 2: surely comes down. So we now begin to check. What
- 22:37Speaker 2: can I do? What can we do? What kind of
- 22:40Speaker 2: school can they go to? What kind of church can
- 22:42Speaker 2: they attend? What kind of messages can they listen to?
- 22:46Speaker 2: There is a God who seals up loopholes and he
- 22:48Speaker 2: helps us. But you must understand that there are consequences.
- 22:53Speaker 2: If you will eat your wife and insult her in
- 22:55Speaker 2: front of your children, there is a consequence to that.
- 22:59Speaker 2: You say, what about not in front of the children?
- 23:01Speaker 2: Beat your wife and there are women that will beat
- 23:04Speaker 2: your husband and beat the hell out of you. I'm
- 23:06Speaker 2: telling you. With your muzzle, they will beat you. When
- 23:14Speaker 2: the relationship begins, they warn you. Oh my God. And
- 23:26Speaker 2: you are saying, you know, it's just one of those things.
- 23:33Speaker 2: When you are getting married, I have a gift for you.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I ordained you. Plaster, paracetamol, bandage, clutches, because you will
- 23:44Speaker 2: need many of those. It will bind you up many
- 23:47Speaker 2: times again and again. There are consequences to all these actions.
- 23:53Speaker 2: The moment we fail to build according to pattern, there
- 23:57Speaker 2: are consequences. So we stay with pattern. Let me tell
- 24:02Speaker 2: you this. There are people that the moment you marry them,
- 24:09Speaker 2: There is the consequence of not checking it through God
- 24:11Speaker 2: before you marry them. And the consequence is that eventually
- 24:14Speaker 2: you may not be able to live together. Yes. You
- 24:24Speaker 2: may not be able to check it. If you fail
- 24:26Speaker 2: to check it, you see, before you blame people who
- 24:38Speaker 2: are single mothers and single fathers, try to understand the
- 24:42Speaker 2: kind of person they ran away from. Sometimes it is
- 24:49Speaker 2: important that before this person dies, please separate yourself. And
- 24:56Speaker 2: there are matters that even after the separation can no
- 24:59Speaker 2: longer be settled by the both of you and pastors.
- 25:02Speaker 2: There is a need for family involvement. Somebody has to
- 25:04Speaker 2: sign a contract. I will not slap my wife again.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I will not do this. I will not go out
- 25:11Speaker 2: as a married man and sleep with other girls if
- 25:13Speaker 2: I come back with disease and killer. We don't excuse
- 25:18Speaker 2: certain things and say, no, no, both of you are believers. No, no,
- 25:21Speaker 2: this is a matter of life and death. Let's talk
- 25:22Speaker 2: about it.
- 25:25Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 25:26Speaker 2: So you to hug your wife, you to hug your,
- 25:27Speaker 2: you've not settled anything, no. There are consequences. I told
- 25:37Speaker 2: you on Tuesday, we are in a generation that your
- 25:40Speaker 2: ex-boyfriend can become somebody else's wife. Ex-boyfriend. You said, that's
- 25:51Speaker 2: my ex-boyfriend. But now, it's somebody else's wife.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Wife.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Hey, there are consequences for the direction this generation wants
- 26:06Speaker 2: to head. Leave us to do anything. Whatever makes you happy,
- 26:09Speaker 2: do it. There is a consequence. Do what makes you happy.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Do what makes you feel good. You see, that's not
- 26:16Speaker 2: the life of someone who will go far. There are
- 26:19Speaker 2: things that makes you happy but will destroy you. There
- 26:21Speaker 2: are consequences. If we were to attend or to study
- 26:27Speaker 2: the courses we study and go for lectures, when we
- 26:29Speaker 2: feel like? We will never graduate. By now, I might
- 26:32Speaker 2: sleep in part two. You think I really like exams?
- 26:37Speaker 2: I might be busy up and down doing crusades. You say, Apostle,
- 26:40Speaker 2: you have first semester. I say, I'm coming, I'm coming.
- 26:42Speaker 2: After all, I can go through this and then graduate
- 26:45Speaker 2: whenever I choose to. But rules and laws are there
- 26:48Speaker 2: to protect us from ourselves. Now, in boxing, please come. Godwin,
- 26:55Speaker 2: please come. Please stand here. So when two people are
- 26:58Speaker 2: fighting and there's a referee in between them, set your punches. Yeah,
- 27:03Speaker 2: set your punches. So when these two people fight, no punching.
- 27:11Speaker 2: And these two people are fighting and there's a referee.
- 27:14Speaker 2: The reason why the referee is there, number one, is
- 27:16Speaker 2: to maintain the rules of the game. But ultimately... The
- 27:21Speaker 2: referee is there to protect him from himself. To protect
- 27:26Speaker 2: him from himself. There is a kind of punch that
- 27:28Speaker 2: if he receives twice, his destiny will go on strike.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Have you seen where they punch people? The head is
- 27:37Speaker 2: one side, the leg is misbehaving. But even in that state,
- 27:42Speaker 2: it is possible that a man wants to continue because
- 27:44Speaker 2: of ego. But the referee is there saying, no, I
- 27:47Speaker 2: understand your ego wants to go on, but I'm here
- 27:49Speaker 2: to protect you from yourself. The word of God is
- 27:51Speaker 2: there to protect you from you. There are things I
- 27:59Speaker 2: can do. Thank you so much. First, accept that you
- 28:03Speaker 2: can be destructive. Accept that you can be bad. Accept
- 28:09Speaker 2: that you can be rude. Accept that you have certain tendencies.
- 28:15Speaker 2: You see, when you judge yourself, you will not be judged.
- 28:20Speaker 2: So that by the time you start doing certain things
- 28:23Speaker 2: and somebody complains, it is something you know that it's
- 28:26Speaker 2: something I have the likelihood of. So when your wife said,
- 28:29Speaker 2: you keep making decisions without telling me, because you have
- 28:31Speaker 2: already told yourself, you say, it's true. I'm sorry. You see,
- 28:35Speaker 2: you don't have to respond to every conversation with argument.
- 28:39Speaker 2: What do you mean now? That's how the other day too.
- 28:42Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 28:44Speaker 2: But when you already know yourself that I have these tendencies,
- 28:49Speaker 2: You see, the reason why you fight when somebody confronts
- 28:51Speaker 2: you about what is bad is because you know that
- 28:56Speaker 2: it is bad. But you have refused to accept the reality.
- 28:59Speaker 2: That you have something that is bad doesn't mean you
- 29:01Speaker 2: are bad. Doesn't mean you are bad. But this thing
- 29:06Speaker 2: is bad. Okay? This thing is bad. Your wife has
- 29:10Speaker 2: been telling you, whenever you sleep like this, you snore. Say, no, no, no.
- 29:14Speaker 2: In my family, no, nobody snores. Don't wait till she
- 29:18Speaker 2: records you. Now she has recorded you now. She's playing
- 29:23Speaker 2: your snore. You say, who is the only generator around here?
- 29:27Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying here? And you to
- 29:34Speaker 2: the wife, don't tell your spouse you snow like an elephant. See,
- 29:38Speaker 2: let me tell you something. There are things you tell
- 29:42Speaker 2: men and you don't get solutions on. Because in the
- 29:44Speaker 2: place of doing that, you know something you should do well.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Doesn't mean you must tear him down.
- 29:51Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 29:51Speaker 2: You can be right. But on top of your voice,
- 29:54Speaker 2: you are wrong. What you are saying is correct. But
- 29:59Speaker 2: there's an how. Bible says that a good woman builds
- 30:02Speaker 2: a house with her hands. But a careless one tears
- 30:08Speaker 2: it down with her words. I see people say things like,
- 30:13Speaker 2: who gave you the audacity to talk to women? The
- 30:15Speaker 2: Bible gave me. Come on now. You think we're going
- 30:17Speaker 2: to live a generation or two without? That was how
- 30:20Speaker 2: we abandoned men years back.
- 30:24Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 30:24Speaker 2: We will tell you once it is scriptures. Are you
- 30:27Speaker 2: following what I'm saying here? When you are going to
- 30:29Speaker 2: build soft words, that's what the Bible says. Let me
- 30:35Speaker 2: tell you one of the very evident signs of low self-esteem.
- 30:38Speaker 2: If you know people, one of the ways to know
- 30:40Speaker 2: people that esteem is destroyed is that whenever they know
- 30:45Speaker 2: something you don't know, the way they will push it
- 30:49Speaker 2: on you, they will try to reduce you with this
- 30:53Speaker 2: one knowledge so that they can look better. You see,
- 30:57Speaker 2: that you know what I don't know now doesn't still
- 31:01Speaker 2: make you better. And it doesn't make me better. We
- 31:03Speaker 2: are just distinct. This is one of the rudiments for
- 31:08Speaker 2: doctrinal fight in the body of Christ. Okay, now you
- 31:11Speaker 2: have found that this is true. You see, once the
- 31:13Speaker 2: devil can't stop you from knowing the truth, he can
- 31:16Speaker 2: cheat you in the area of communicating the truth with grace.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Now you know the truth. But the truth you now
- 31:22Speaker 2: know is causing injury. Nobody is receiving it. Because with
- 31:25Speaker 2: this same truth, you will insult this one and insult
- 31:28Speaker 2: that one. No, that's not the Bible. I see some
- 31:33Speaker 2: young people arguing, this, this, this. Actually, Joshua did not
- 31:37Speaker 2: tell the moon, the sun to stand. The earth stopped rotating.
- 31:40Speaker 2: We understand that in geography and physics. Now that you
- 31:43Speaker 2: know it, what should we do about it? So when
- 31:47Speaker 2: you listen to people, what is their intention as compared
- 31:52Speaker 2: to what they have communicated? It is maturity to now
- 31:55Speaker 2: put the intention over the communication and accept them from
- 31:58Speaker 2: where they are. This is life. If you caught somebody
- 32:02Speaker 2: who is wrong today, you can be wrong tomorrow.
- 32:12Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 32:12Speaker 2: You don't put your shoe here. No, no. This is
- 32:15Speaker 2: the problem with all of you guys. Look at the
- 32:17Speaker 2: people who go outside now. They think you're a good man.
- 32:19Speaker 2: On top of shoe.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Is somebody learning something today? Are you sure?
- 32:38Speaker 6: Alright.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Pay attention to this. I want to list a few
- 32:44Speaker 2: things that the devil has been able to push on
- 32:46Speaker 2: this generation and also show you the consequence that is
- 32:50Speaker 2: attached to them. Number one. There is or there are
- 32:57Speaker 2: consequences that comes with the mentality of entering into marriage
- 33:03Speaker 2: while you perceive yourself or your gender as a victim.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Or there is the consequence of having victim mentality. I'll
- 33:13Speaker 2: tell you what that means. Victim mentality is when you
- 33:17Speaker 2: are getting married or you are in a marriage with
- 33:19Speaker 2: the thought of women are always the victim. Oh no,
- 33:23Speaker 2: men are always the victim. Oh no, women are the
- 33:26Speaker 2: receiving end. Whatever is happening to women, women, this is
- 33:31Speaker 2: your own unique case. Let me tell you the danger
- 33:34Speaker 2: of victim mentality. There will be things, are you following
- 33:38Speaker 2: what I'm saying here? There will be things people will
- 33:41Speaker 2: say as a mob because they have similar pain. You
- 33:46Speaker 2: don't have that pain. Understand that you are different. What
- 33:52Speaker 2: they are saying as a mob, if you import that
- 33:55Speaker 2: consciousness to your home, it will create a system of
- 33:58Speaker 2: fear that the pain your mob colleagues have, you will
- 34:02Speaker 2: bet it in your own home. There are people trying
- 34:07Speaker 2: to lead and harm you of women and say to them, no, no, no, no, no.
- 34:11Speaker 2: You see, and I'm going to get to another very
- 34:13Speaker 2: serious point now.
- 34:16Speaker 6: No, no, no.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Women in marriages, women don't get to enjoy marriage. And
- 34:21Speaker 2: there is also another school of thought. That you see,
- 34:24Speaker 2: women are the ones that enjoy everything men don't get
- 34:26Speaker 2: to enjoy. When a man becomes a CEO, he takes
- 34:29Speaker 2: care of the mother. Where is the father? Mother's day,
- 34:31Speaker 2: mother's day, no father's day. In all honesty, men are
- 34:37Speaker 2: not really built around so many accolades like that. I
- 34:42Speaker 2: really don't have any business with father's day. Just have
- 34:43Speaker 2: me my food. I can't remember telling my wife, when
- 34:50Speaker 2: last did you tell me, do you love me? What
- 34:52Speaker 2: was my business with that? I know you love me, period.
- 34:55Speaker 2: If you start talking like that as a man, you've
- 34:58Speaker 2: never told me in this house that you love me. No, no,
- 35:00Speaker 2: you put your hand like this. You've never told me
- 35:06Speaker 2: in this house that you don't shake chest. Men are
- 35:12Speaker 2: not wired like this. Men are wired to be strong.
- 35:16Speaker 2: We are strong beings. That doesn't mean we don't have emotions.
- 35:21Speaker 2: That doesn't mean we don't like gifts. I want to
- 35:25Speaker 2: beg you in the name of Jesus Christ. Every woman
- 35:28Speaker 2: under the sound of my voice. The fact that something
- 35:31Speaker 2: is happening to women doesn't mean it will happen to you.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Don't import their pain as a material to build your
- 35:38Speaker 2: own homes. I beg you. They may misunderstand the things
- 35:45Speaker 2: I teach. But you understand me. You are not a victim.
- 35:52Speaker 2: You see, when you have that mentality, in all honesty,
- 35:56Speaker 2: it doesn't matter how perfect you perceive any home to be.
- 35:59Speaker 2: They deal with issues. The day you are dealing with
- 36:02Speaker 2: your own issues that can be solved easily, you are
- 36:04Speaker 2: going to kill and hunt with sledgehammer. Because you are
- 36:08Speaker 2: perceiving him based on what the women movement is saying.
- 36:13Speaker 2: And then you say, he's one of them.
- 36:17Speaker 5: Men.
- 36:18Speaker 2: The day you start referring to your husband as men,
- 36:20Speaker 2: then there's problem. We know men. That's an import of
- 36:27Speaker 2: certain ideologies. And there are men also who believe that
- 36:31Speaker 2: only women enjoy the children at the end of the day.
- 36:34Speaker 2: So let me enjoy my life now. Let me spend
- 36:36Speaker 2: my own money now. Last last is their mother they
- 36:38Speaker 2: will remember. And by the time you do that, you
- 36:41Speaker 2: will not be as sacrificial as you should be as
- 36:45Speaker 2: a leader. This is the divine order. A good man
- 36:50Speaker 2: lives good inheritance for his children. You are not going
- 36:55Speaker 2: to live a life that if children has not been
- 36:58Speaker 2: money you won't eat. That is the order. We make
- 37:06Speaker 2: sacrifices as men and it may go unnoticed. When people
- 37:12Speaker 2: say we want to celebrate apostles, well, I thank God
- 37:15Speaker 2: for it and I'm grateful. It's a privilege to pastor
- 37:18Speaker 2: a generation like this. It is an honor. But you
- 37:21Speaker 2: may never truly know my sacrifices. If I give you
- 37:28Speaker 2: an hour to talk, you will say the things you know.
- 37:31Speaker 2: You may not know my pain. You may not know
- 37:34Speaker 2: the tears before I preach a sermon. You may not know.
- 37:41Speaker 2: There are people I love so much, but they hate me.
- 37:45Speaker 2: And at eternity, they will find out that somebody loves you.
- 37:50Speaker 2: So you may never truly know. When we begin to
- 37:53Speaker 2: have a generation of men who want to begin to
- 37:56Speaker 2: flaunt their sacrifices, then we are altering the divine order.
- 38:00Speaker 2: The foundation will never come out and say, this is
- 38:02Speaker 2: how strong I am. It remains there. That's the pattern. Oh,
- 38:09Speaker 2: everybody's talking about the fine paint. The paint is still
- 38:12Speaker 2: standing because the foundation is there. You see, usually it
- 38:16Speaker 2: is when men live that their value is truly known
- 38:19Speaker 2: in its full essence. If the owner of the house
- 38:28Speaker 2: is not dead, you will never find grass growing outside
- 38:31Speaker 2: the house.
- 38:34Speaker 6: Man.
- 38:35Speaker 2: And the fact that we are designed this way, Doesn't
- 38:40Speaker 2: mean that God hates us. It is divine order. And
- 38:46Speaker 2: for everything he has designed you to be, he has
- 38:48Speaker 2: given you strength to live with it. Are you following
- 38:51Speaker 2: what I'm saying here? He has given you strength. A
- 38:54Speaker 2: woman is to supply care, affection, nurturing in the family.
- 39:01Speaker 2: The fact that there are women that married men who
- 39:04Speaker 2: used it against them and maltreated them and the women
- 39:08Speaker 2: didn't have anything to themselves at the end of the
- 39:10Speaker 2: day doesn't mean that that is the experience you are
- 39:12Speaker 2: about to have. Don't import their pain. Hear their story,
- 39:17Speaker 2: pray for them, but know your journey is unique. Let
- 39:21Speaker 2: me tell you one of the ways you know you
- 39:22Speaker 2: believe what you have not said. Let me give you
- 39:25Speaker 2: an instance. If you keep thinking about cancer, the day
- 39:32Speaker 2: you will have stomach pain, you will say, finally what
- 39:36Speaker 2: I fear has come upon me. What I mean is,
- 39:39Speaker 2: if you keep thinking about being a victim, the day
- 39:42Speaker 2: the man will do something that is not even up
- 39:44Speaker 2: to that, you will say, that is it. That is it.
- 39:49Speaker 2: That is what I've been saying. That is what mommy
- 39:51Speaker 2: told me. That is what my mother-in-law said. That is
- 39:55Speaker 2: what my sister-husband's friend said. Their story is their story.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Yours is yours. You will not go through pain. Is
- 40:09Speaker 2: it possible for your spouse to do something similar to
- 40:11Speaker 2: what you have always been afraid of? Yes. But you
- 40:14Speaker 2: must understand that marriage is warfare. You stand your ground
- 40:17Speaker 2: in the place of believing and confessing. it will not
- 40:20Speaker 2: go that direction in the name of Jesus. I'm telling you.
- 40:27Speaker 2: So when we have individuals going into marriage or trying
- 40:33Speaker 2: to build a family with victim mentality, it will alter
- 40:39Speaker 2: your perception about reality. It will alter your responses. It
- 40:43Speaker 2: will alter every experience you are having. You are going
- 40:46Speaker 2: to react when you should not react. You are going
- 40:48Speaker 2: to say things you should not say And one of
- 40:50Speaker 2: the ways you know that is there is that you
- 40:52Speaker 2: will always be eager to quit. Always. There are people
- 41:00Speaker 2: who believe that for them to live the fullness of
- 41:02Speaker 2: the life they want to live, they must get out
- 41:04Speaker 2: from their marriage. So any small thing is. Let me
- 41:09Speaker 2: know if you are done. How do you say yes
- 41:15Speaker 2: I do and yet you have decided in your heart
- 41:18Speaker 2: that there is an option The extent that people go
- 41:24Speaker 2: in argument is sometimes a mirror of the fact that
- 41:27Speaker 2: they have alternatives. No, I'm not looking at for better
- 41:32Speaker 2: or for worse. If this won't work, I know what
- 41:34Speaker 2: to do. I will take a walk. That's not divine pattern.
- 41:41Speaker 2: If you have 20 glass cups and you are drinking
- 41:50Speaker 2: water with this one, you may be careless. You may
- 41:55Speaker 2: put it at the side of the table where it
- 41:58Speaker 2: can fall down and break. But if this is all
- 42:00Speaker 2: there is, there is a way you keep it. The
- 42:03Speaker 2: way you handle your spouse, is it reflecting the fact
- 42:05Speaker 2: that it is all there is? Or that she is
- 42:07Speaker 2: all there is? We must make a decision. Our problem
- 42:15Speaker 2: did not start from the home first. It began from
- 42:17Speaker 2: our minds. The mind. The conclusions. The conclusions. The things
- 42:22Speaker 2: you are saying. The things you are thinking. The decisions
- 42:25Speaker 2: you have made. Amen. There is the consequence of building
- 42:40Speaker 2: your home on media standard. Movie knowledge standard. There are
- 42:53Speaker 2: movies you watch. The moment you watch that movie, at
- 42:56Speaker 2: least you need a week to reset again. Because the
- 43:00Speaker 2: movie is bitter. The storyline is painful. Somebody has married
- 43:04Speaker 2: a girl. The girl was manipulated. And this is not
- 43:07Speaker 2: your spouse. In fact, it becomes even more dangerous for
- 43:09Speaker 2: those who are single. There are many single people that
- 43:13Speaker 2: when they hear about something, they are afraid to death.
- 43:16Speaker 2: That you mean the freedom I have now. One man
- 43:19Speaker 2: will come and everything... That's your thoughts, but that's not
- 43:23Speaker 2: the reality. It is your fears changing your perception. I
- 43:31Speaker 2: am married and I'm not dead. You need to see
- 43:36Speaker 2: my picture before I got married. I thought I was fine.
- 43:40Speaker 2: One time I looked at my picture, I started asking,
- 43:45Speaker 2: so this person will break up with someone and this
- 43:47Speaker 2: person will cry. Then you should have been happy. Just
- 43:51Speaker 2: carry yourself and go. It does not yet appear what
- 43:54Speaker 2: we shall become. True or not true? True, there is
- 43:58Speaker 2: a consequence. The ideologies on social media is not the Bible.
- 44:05Speaker 2: The fact that it has 2,000 likes doesn't mean God
- 44:08Speaker 2: likes it. No. You might just have a community of
- 44:13Speaker 2: hateful people, of deranged people, who are bandwagon following themselves. No,
- 44:18Speaker 2: this is not. It's not.
- 44:20Speaker 1: It's not.
- 44:21Speaker 2: There are women and men podcasts you should unfollow now.
- 44:26Speaker 2: I know one platform on Facebook. I won't mention. I
- 44:30Speaker 2: know the platform. I'm tempted to, but I will not.
- 44:33Speaker 2: I don't know a woman who is on that platform
- 44:35Speaker 2: who is not facing problem. I've counseled several. Don't ask
- 44:38Speaker 2: me questions. People will chat. I say, are you on
- 44:42Speaker 2: that platform? Say, go and delete it. What happens there
- 44:45Speaker 2: is that women will come and everybody is sharing painful
- 44:48Speaker 2: stories about their husband. Everybody painful, painful, painful. So what
- 44:53Speaker 2: happens as you are reading them daily? You are making
- 44:55Speaker 2: decisions about what doesn't exist. You go back with that
- 44:59Speaker 2: decision and anger and venom. You are looking for an
- 45:02Speaker 2: innocent man and you vomit on him. Women are not victims.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Stop the nonsense. Women are not victims. I shout that
- 45:15Speaker 2: spirit down. I shut it down from this generation. I
- 45:21Speaker 2: shut down the nonsense. Women, are you victims? Are you
- 45:26Speaker 2: a victim? Women are not victims. Get out of that thing.
- 45:35Speaker 2: We know ourselves, we are the ones that.
- 45:37Speaker 8: No!
- 45:38Speaker 2: You are not a part of them. Let me tell
- 45:40Speaker 2: you this. Genesis 34 from verse 1. Genesis 34 verse 1.
- 45:45Speaker 2: And Dinah, the daughter of Leah that she bore to Jacob,
- 45:48Speaker 2: went out to see the daughters of the land. That's
- 45:51Speaker 2: the scripture. Am I correct? Project it. Quickly. Yeah. Went
- 45:58Speaker 2: out to see the daughters of the land.
- 46:00Speaker 7: Yes.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Verse 2 now. So there is the mentality of the
- 46:03Speaker 2: daughters of the land. And it brings defilement. Man, say
- 46:15Speaker 2: after me loud and clear, we are not victims. Come on,
- 46:19Speaker 2: say it again, say it again. The fact that your
- 46:21Speaker 2: birthday was forgotten doesn't make you a victim. The fact
- 46:25Speaker 2: that they celebrate whether Father's Day or Brother's Day or whatever,
- 46:29Speaker 2: once a year, doesn't make us victims. We are not victims. Please,
- 46:35Speaker 2: I want us to shout it again loud and clear,
- 46:36Speaker 2: I am not a victim. If many people will believe
- 46:47Speaker 2: what is written in the Bible the same way they
- 46:49Speaker 2: believe what is on Facebook, on Twitter and Instagram, their
- 46:52Speaker 2: life will be better. This same you, you are the
- 46:59Speaker 2: one on every blog, from Insta blog to Yabba Left
- 47:02Speaker 2: to something gossip to this one Apoko to that one,
- 47:07Speaker 2: they look to everything they are writing you have liked.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Who are you and what do you believe? Who are you? See,
- 47:17Speaker 2: let me tell you something. If you are too free
- 47:19Speaker 2: to be doing everything online, get a job where you
- 47:21Speaker 2: can work online. It is so much like being online.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Be a content creator or something, manager for an organization.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Channel your skill into that. You are the one that
- 47:33Speaker 2: will mix granite and fried rice and then put a
- 47:36Speaker 2: bit of mayonnaise on top there. You come back, you
- 47:39Speaker 2: are distorted, your orientation is whack, nobody knows what you
- 47:42Speaker 2: are thinking. Stop that. Stop that. Look at the energy
- 47:47Speaker 2: you feel when you press your phone. And the weakness
- 47:49Speaker 2: you feel when you hold the Bible. You drag. And
- 47:53Speaker 2: now your mentality looks fixed. And what we are doing
- 47:56Speaker 2: now is to try to mechanically re-engineer you. Maybe in
- 47:59Speaker 2: this one lifetime you will be at least functional again.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Because there are dysfunctional individuals that produce dysfunctional homes. Because
- 48:10Speaker 2: of bad orientation. Bad orientation. Bad orientation. Are you following
- 48:22Speaker 2: what I'm saying here? Don't build your home on media standards.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Not everybody on media have sense. Full stock. Have you
- 48:39Speaker 2: seen platforms? You don't even know the name behind or
- 48:41Speaker 2: the face. They are faceless and nameless. They cause trouble everywhere.
- 48:46Speaker 2: They can tweet 1,000 things about marriage and they are
- 48:49Speaker 2: not married.
- 48:59Speaker 2: I agree. Even screenshot it and
- 49:03Speaker 2: hide it for the day of evil. Is somebody learning something? Ah.
- 49:15Speaker 2: There are... consequences that comes with running with destructive ideologies.
- 49:28Speaker 2: I'm going to give you instances. If you look at
- 49:35Speaker 2: the book of Numbers chapter number 23, um.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Balaam had gone to contact Balak to curse the children
- 49:44Speaker 2: of Israel to use divination and sorcery. Sorry, Balak had
- 49:50Speaker 2: contacted Balaam to curse them. And they could not be cursed.
- 49:55Speaker 2: The Bible said he erected seven bullocks and seven rams
- 49:59Speaker 2: on seven different altars. That's 14 times 7. And each
- 50:04Speaker 2: time he tries to curse them, God rather will prophesy
- 50:08Speaker 2: to him, that you cannot curse a people that the
- 50:11Speaker 2: Lord has blessed. He said, I see Israel gathered, and
- 50:15Speaker 2: the shape she takes is like the shape of a lion.
- 50:17Speaker 2: In fact, that's where you have the scripture in Numbers
- 50:20Speaker 2: 23 verse 23, that there is no divination against Israel,
- 50:23Speaker 2: neither is there enchantment against who? Jacob. But as we
- 50:27Speaker 2: go to Numbers 25, so they could not, they were, Israel,
- 50:30Speaker 2: you can't curse the people that the Lord has blessed.
- 50:33Speaker 2: But in Numbers 25 from verse 1, the Bible said,
- 50:37Speaker 2: and it came to pass, that the children of Israel
- 50:39Speaker 2: began to commit war with the daughters of Moab. Very
- 50:45Speaker 2: painful story. Alright? And people began to commit war with
- 50:49Speaker 2: the daughters of Moab. Very painful. And you check what happened.
- 50:52Speaker 2: They started joining ideologies. They were fraternizing and learning from
- 50:56Speaker 2: their gods. And the Bible said, if you read down,
- 50:59Speaker 2: in one day, 25,000 people died. The people that sorcery
- 51:04Speaker 2: could not kill. The people that even a prophet could
- 51:07Speaker 2: not curse. The people that the gods of the earth
- 51:10Speaker 2: gathered could not bring into judgment. But the fact that
- 51:13Speaker 2: they joined themselves with people of wrong ideologies, they died
- 51:17Speaker 2: in their numbers. Be careful. Who have you made your
- 51:21Speaker 2: best friend who doesn't know God? Who have you called bestie?
- 51:29Speaker 2: Show me your friend and I will tell you who
- 51:31Speaker 2: you are. Do you Is your home so intact that
- 51:39Speaker 2: your spouse can perceive that he's a wrong friend? I
- 51:44Speaker 2: don't want to see this person in our house again
- 51:46Speaker 2: and you'll say, thank you. All right. Both as a
- 51:49Speaker 2: man and as a woman. You know, unfortunately, we're in
- 51:53Speaker 2: a generation that the fact that you have seen a
- 51:56Speaker 2: male with your husband doesn't mean he's not cheating on
- 51:59Speaker 2: you with the male.
- 51:59Speaker 5: No.
- 52:09Speaker 2: I'm trying to show you the level of decadence there
- 52:12Speaker 2: is already. That's why I'm saying what I'm doing here
- 52:15Speaker 2: is warfare. All these ideologies and many more. By the
- 52:21Speaker 2: time the result of it rains on us. Sometimes your
- 52:31Speaker 2: husband doesn't have a man. Maybe he's cheating with another man.
- 52:35Speaker 2: But this man now is the one that introduces different girls.
- 52:41Speaker 2: He's not cheating yet, but this guy is. And he's
- 52:45Speaker 2: telling your husband, and you have an idea. If your
- 52:48Speaker 2: wife tells you this person is against her home, do
- 52:50Speaker 2: you have the maturity it takes as a man to
- 52:54Speaker 2: separate from that person? Let me tell you what I've learned.
- 52:56Speaker 2: Women knows trouble before they come home. All the time
- 53:01Speaker 2: my wife has warned me, and I use ego to
- 53:03Speaker 2: say no, I fell into trouble. 90% of the trouble
- 53:06Speaker 2: I couldn't tell her. Say, why are you such a...
- 53:09Speaker 2: You see, I've just been... I was afraid of, did
- 53:14Speaker 2: I not tell you? She just looked at me and said,
- 53:18Speaker 2: be careful. I said, no, no, don't worry, I have
- 53:20Speaker 2: it figured out. Now, now, now, I'm in trouble. I
- 53:24Speaker 2: come back, I say, hey, hey. She said, you look
- 53:27Speaker 2: down today.
- 53:28Speaker 7: No, no, no.
- 53:30Speaker 2: When we say there's a lifting down, I'll say there's
- 53:33Speaker 2: a lifting up. I'm not down. I'm not down. She
- 53:37Speaker 2: go back, I put my hands, hey, hey, hey, Jesus.
- 53:40Speaker 2: Many men would have lived longer If they listen to
- 53:43Speaker 2: their wives, many women too would have lived longer. If
- 53:49Speaker 2: they listen to their... Do you believe that when you
- 53:55Speaker 2: are married, your husband is your covering? Don't operate outside
- 53:58Speaker 2: of covering. Don't. And you too don't marry a torn umbrella.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Don't marry a torn umbrella. Wait. Don't marry what you
- 54:12Speaker 2: marry and bring it like it's our problem. It's your problem. No,
- 54:15Speaker 2: it's not our problem. It's your problem. We'll try to
- 54:18Speaker 2: help you, but not your problem. Is that okay? You too, check.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying? Don't let Shawarma blind you. See.
- 54:33Speaker 2: The crux of what I've said now is just passive right. Hmm?
- 54:40Speaker 2: There is a way a girl will look at you.
- 54:46Speaker 2: Your wife said, be careful. I don't like that girl.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Don't say, no, no. You, this woman, you have hate
- 54:55Speaker 2: in your heart. You see, all the things Apostle has
- 54:57Speaker 2: been teaching, your mind has not been, no. This is
- 55:00Speaker 2: your lifeline. This is your lifeline. After that one, the
- 55:06Speaker 2: next thing that will happen is that you are in
- 55:08Speaker 2: a pit. Don't say, no, no, you don't have love
- 55:11Speaker 2: in your heart, that's how you did your life. No, no, no, no.
- 55:14Speaker 2: There's the consequence of shutting down your spouse, male or female.
- 55:18Speaker 2: There's the consequence of having your way all the time.
- 55:22Speaker 2: There's the consequence for that. You see, your marriage is
- 55:31Speaker 2: already bad and abusive if your spouse don't have their opinion.
- 55:34Speaker 4: Yes. Yes.
- 55:39Speaker 2: Say, no, no, I know how to silence her. That's
- 55:42Speaker 2: a dictator talking. That's a dictator. Are you with me?
- 55:47Speaker 2: Now this is where it gets critical. The devil is
- 55:58Speaker 2: raising a campaign to get men out of the equation
- 56:02Speaker 2: of families. The devil is raising a campaign to get
- 56:09Speaker 2: men out of the equation of families. There is a
- 56:12Speaker 2: subtle ideology now that all you need a man for
- 56:17Speaker 2: is to get pregnant and give birth, get out of
- 56:19Speaker 2: his life and live your life. There is a subtle arrangement.
- 56:24Speaker 2: The ones that that is not happening to, they are
- 56:29Speaker 2: turning to women. They are doing hip enlargement. What does
- 56:33Speaker 2: a man have to do with bum bum? They are
- 56:35Speaker 2: making that one big too. They are saying, put silicone
- 56:38Speaker 2: in my chest. They start with lipstick. What is it
- 56:41Speaker 2: about the male gender that the devil is after? Let
- 56:47Speaker 2: me tell you, men, if we allow what is going on,
- 56:52Speaker 2: go on. In another 50 years, you will not have relevance.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Except you know God. I want to believe that is
- 57:03Speaker 2: not happening here. But there's a subtle ideology. Just marry.
- 57:08Speaker 2: If you do any nonsense, take care of your children.
- 57:11Speaker 2: Face them with your life. Get out. It matters the
- 57:17Speaker 2: orientation we are bringing in. It matters. It matters. Let
- 57:27Speaker 2: me show you scripture for that. Turn your Bibles with
- 57:29Speaker 2: me to the book of Exodus. Exodus chapter number 1.
- 57:40Speaker 2: We'll start the reading from verse 15. If you are there,
- 57:48Speaker 2: say Amen. And the king of Egypt spoke to the
- 57:52Speaker 2: Hebrew midwives of which the name of one was Sifra
- 57:59Speaker 2: and the name of the other was Pua. And he said,
- 58:02Speaker 2: when you do the office of a midwife to the
- 58:06Speaker 2: Hebrew women and see them On the stools... If it
- 58:12Speaker 2: be a son... You shall kill him... If it be
- 58:16Speaker 2: a daughter... She shall leave....
- 58:22Speaker 4: Men.
- 58:24Speaker 2: The devil wants to kill you.
- 58:28Speaker 2: He wants you dead... And it is not your wife...
- 58:30Speaker 2: He is trying to use to kill you.
- 58:35Speaker 2: So let's get the balance right... The devil wants you
- 58:38Speaker 2: out of the equation... And somehow, the way many men
- 58:42Speaker 2: are living, it seems as though they have agreed to
- 58:44Speaker 2: die young. A man who abandons his wife and children,
- 58:52Speaker 2: somehow has said he has agreed to die young. It
- 58:57Speaker 2: doesn't matter how sweet adultery is. It is poison sugar.
- 59:02Speaker 2: It destroys. I've told you, before you learn anybody's ways,
- 59:07Speaker 2: Check the champion who have run with that pattern for long.
- 59:11Speaker 2: When you get to an organization, check those who have
- 59:14Speaker 2: spent 15 years there. That is the mirror of your
- 59:18Speaker 2: own 15 years time. The devil wants to kill you.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Men take unnecessary risk. they go out with people and
- 59:33Speaker 2: they trust the people more than the wife. All the
- 59:37Speaker 2: people that God used to protect. I know you may
- 59:39Speaker 2: have trust issues, but at least trust in your own.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Don't run with the idea that women, this, this, this, this.
- 59:48Speaker 2: And I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ. See?
- 59:53Speaker 3: I agree.
- 59:55Speaker 2: I accept to be criticized for what I'm teaching. Oh,
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: I accept. But let a generation hear my voice. In fact,
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: the criticism will help those that will hear. That somebody
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: is begging. Women, don't believe the ideology that the role
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: of a father in the house doesn't matter. It does.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: The fact that you are submitted under a man doesn't
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: make you a lesser human being. You are just functioning
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: according to pattern. according to pattern. Remove the thought from
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: your mind that my children don't need. If something has
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: happened and you have both gone separate ways, I accept.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: God will help you. Because if there are issues that
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: can be resolved, solve it. If there are issues that
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: I am sorry will take care of, say it. If
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: there are issues that are going on your knees, don't say, women,
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: that's victim mentality. If this is your own home, shut
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: the door. The media that is encouraging you to break it,
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: ask them, when I do, will you take care of
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: my children? Will you play the role of their father?
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: Will you pay their school fees? Will you be the
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: one to communicate affection to my children? They will not.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Don't let those who are killing theirs destroy yours. Those
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: who are keeping theirs. Don't make that decision. It is
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: a subtle wind. It is coming. And I look around
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: and I say, can the body of Christ see this?
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: There's fire on the mountain. We are emasculating women. They
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: are becoming men.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Amen.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Can't we see what is going on? Unfortunately so. Many
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: men too have not learned to take responsibility and play
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: their leadership role. Ends forcing a need for a resurgence.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: At certain age, it should not be a mystery what
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: you do for a living. There should be a plan.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: What do you expect when women are left to fend
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: for themselves? It's the basic role of a man to provide.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: It doesn't make you less of a woman if a
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: man provides for you. Don't say, no, no, no, no.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I'm a woman. I buy my things myself. No, no, no.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Nobody has said you are not a woman because he
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: buys it. No, you are reacting against what is not.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: No.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: We insult our mothers because they took her. We, the
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: kind of women that we are.
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: No.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: No. Say, the kind of women that we are, I
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: pay my bills, I do my stuff. Anything you want
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: to say, say it to your own pocket. You are
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: not paying my bills. No. That you pay your bills
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: doesn't mean you should be arrogant. Humility is the ornament
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: of a good believer. You are a Christian first. Beyond.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Can there things happen in the house that for a season,
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: The woman is bringing in more resources. Yes. How do
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: you handle that season? I hope the man will not
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: come back and you sweep it in his face. That's
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: your food. After all, your eight mates are bringing money.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Since you can't bring money, go and eat. And the
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: man has learned the custom of coming back home late
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: or not at all. Because the only place he feels
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: useless is with you. Everywhere else is celebrated till he
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: comes around you. And yet we blame that on the devil.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: We say men are king. You have destroyed the king
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: in your own spouse. And you honor another person's king.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Don't emasculate women. And don't feminize men. Let's get the balance.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Let's go back to the foundation. Let's go back to
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: the original template. If you are a man, step up
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: and lead. Lead your home as a man. Pray for her.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Provide.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: It's not a big deal when you do it. It's
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: your role. Step up. Pray. Lay hands. Do your personal duty.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Inspire your children. You cannot take the back seat and
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: expect her to sit down and die. Somebody will have
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: to do the thinking. You must get the balance right.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: And tell this generation, turn back from the path of destruction.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: There's no job yet. There's nothing yet. Get out of
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: the house. Go to people. Find something you can do.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Don't lie down pressing phone and this woman is thinking
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: I can't even buy bottled water and it's there. Something
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: will affect her mind. If nobody is going to sit
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: at the driver's seat the family will crash. Somebody will
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: have to step up. So when we say women submit
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: to be a man worthy of the submission we must
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: get the balance. if we don't function according to this balance,
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: there are consequences. And the consequences are very bad. Very,
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: very bad. Amen. The hall is silent. Say I hear. Alright, alright.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: I have to round up now. There's also the consequence
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: of perceiving marriage as a prison. That you are free
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: until you are married. You are free until you are married.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: That's a bad ideology. That's a bad ideology. So I
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: wrote here, and I'm going to wrap up with this statement,
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: that the internet community that is validating what you are
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: doing wrong will not be there with you to suffer
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: the consequences. They won't be there to offend for your children.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: If you die in the process of what is wrong,
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: your death won't make news. Let me come again. The
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: internet community is validating you to do what is bad.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: If you die in the process, no blog will post
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: your body. Nobody will say you have died. It will
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: look like the fall of an ant from a mountain.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: It will be unnoticed. Grow. Build yourself. Don't overrate your importance.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: Don't die when you can live. Pay attention to details.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Love God. Love your family. And be very, very wise.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Have you been blessed this morning?
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: Amen.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: May I beg us in the name of Jesus Christ.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: For the next one, two minutes. Maybe there are ideologies. Ideologies.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: we need to submit at the altar. You know what
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: I love about this church? It is a church of
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: broken people that the Lord is mending. We are not
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: perfect people. In case you are new, no, this is
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Fair of Light Church. We are not perfect people. So sometimes,
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: every now and then, you may see us outside, even
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: while service is on, crying, See people do all that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: That's just one of the things you see here. And
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: I want to beg you. If there are ideologies, I'm
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: not going to tell anybody hold the mic.
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: No, no, no.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: You know there are ideologies that you need to submit
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: at the foot of the cross. Everybody, let's get up
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: on our feet. Maybe there are fears. You want to
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: come out to the altar. We are fighting a battle here.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: It's like I can see what is coming. I see
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: what the devil is doing. When I taught on this
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: functional background, look at the number of people that need healing.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: I'm afraid in another 20 years, who will teach these
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: ones how to be healed from the parents that are
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: rising now? That's why we are doing what we are doing.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: It's not convenient to teach what I'm teaching. I want
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: to beg us. There are ideologies you have to lay down.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: You feel, I can't do it on my seat. It's
